"Bad Housekeeping"

My hotel room was somewhat of clean. I went to the bathroom I found hair on the toilet, the bathtubs, the wall and the floor. Also found empty toilet paper roll on the floor. One of the beds have booger in the sheet with hair in them. The bed I slept on made me itch couldn't sleep at night. I found a bug inside the room and I paid $90 for one night stay. My next visit to Ashburn I will stay another hotel this time. Thanks.

"Can't say enough good about this hotel"

When we walked into the lobby to check in around 10 o'clock at night the girls at the front desk were very nice and friendly. I had made reservations before hand so I knew we would have a room. Don't be alarmed when you pull into the parking lot and see work trucks and/or buses and campers in the parking lot. Everyone was seemingly quiet and the rooms were immaculate. When we went down to breakfast, I found the normal bagels, cereal, toast and muffins. But there was also a waffle maker and toppings and whipped cream and also a yogurt machine you could use the toppings on the yogurt as on the waffles. We travel from Florida to Tennessee often and Tifton/Ashburn is about our halfway point. We normally stay at another brand hotel, but it had gotten run down and more expensive This hotel will be our new stopping point.

"Nice hotel, wonderful staff"

We arrived 7:30 in the evening, having gotten advance confirmation from BW that we could redeem a free-night voucher. When we arrived, the desk clerk, Ashley, told us that due to a computer problem we couldn't use the voucher. She worked for a half hour, contacting BW to try to find another hotel that would close enough to use the voucher at and when that didn't work, to try to get BW to cancel our now-useless reservation so we wouldn't forfeit points. Although unsuccessful, she assured that it would be taken care of by morning. We paid for a room and checked in. The hotel is old fashioned, with each room opening to the outside. Our room was in perfect order. nicely decorated and furnished, and spotless (as was the lobby area). WiFi worked fine, complaints of a previous reviewer notwithstanding. The next morning breakfast was very nice with a large selection and nice variety. Everything was fresh and the breakfast area was clean and continuously tidied up by Lisa, the morning desk clerk. When I checked with Lisa to confirm that the reservation had been canceled, she assured me that it had but told me that she had contacted BW and arranged for us to be able to use the voucher after the fact and that the hotel would refund our payment, This is a very nice, well-run and well tended hotel. Ashley and Lisa were wonderful and went way out of their way to help us and turned what began as a bad experience into a very positive one. I recommend this hotel highly.

"Average , do any hotels Internet actually work ? seems not ..."

Without properly working internet , I couldn't scroll the FB .. so I got a decent night sleep. lol Not much on staff at this place....... So you can do pretty much whatever you want... The ice machine works pretty decent ,, no I did not fill my coolers up numerous times ......

"Needs work"

Stayed at this location on a recent trip through Georgia. First room we were given had a terrible odor. I went to front office and requested a different room. Clerk had no idea what to do because I had a small dog with me and she had no other pet friendly rooms. They ultimately moved us to another room. That room had multiple stains on the carpet. My husband went to wipe something off the bathroom floor and the floor was absolutely filthy. Housekeeping is not doing their job and it seems as if no one is over seeing them.

"Nasty room"

Bathroom floor was not swept or mopped, bathroom sink counter did not appear to have ever been wiped clean from any number of previous guest, and a dirty towel was handing on the bathroom door from a previous guest. The first time that I have ever experience this at a BW Brand. Unacceptable!

"Ok for a night"

Nice clerks, at night and day. Room was big and mostly clean, only complaint is that the ac unit was very dusty and unclean. We kept the AC off because of that. Nice breakfast for the price. Pretty ok for a night on the road to somewhere.

The bed was super comfortable! The room smelled very nice and clean when we entered. My son loved the Wi-Fi speed! This was my first time staying in this area, so I did not know what to expect. It ended up being a very peaceful environment and I felt safe.

"It's ok to spend the night"

Nice size room, it was kind of smelly, the AC was dirty and dusty, but we were there just for one night, so it was tolerable. Cable TV, hair dryer, iron, simple breakfast, just one ice machine working.

We were greeted in a friendly manner, the manager was super helpful. I asked to see the room ahead of time. He was more than happy to show us the room. Was very helpful. We ended up staying. The room was pretty good. Comfy bed, nice selection of pillows. The bathrooms were soooo tiny though. The bathrooms could use an upgrade. Everything else seemed clean, no other issues. We would stay here again!

"Poor Maintenance"

Although the service was acceptable, the hotel way below my expectations for a Best Western Hotel. I would definitely not recommend the Ashburn, GA location to anyone. The hotel is run down and there is a lack of maintenance. The room smelled of pet odor and although we have a pet, we have stayed at other pet friendly Best Western Hotels and never occurred the odor problem that we experienced. They did come in and spray with Febreze, however the fix did not last all night. The bathroom was so small we hardly fit in it at all. There appeared to be black mold in the shower area that I didn't notice until morning. The bathroom fan also seemed to have something stuck in it due to the noise it was putting out. The refrigerator was humming and the air conditioner made a squeaky noise when it shut off. Neither myself nor my mother slept very well at all. Had we not been on the road for 10 hours prior to our arrival, we would have looked for another hotel and not stayed at this one.

We were pleasantly surprised at the overall conditions of this hotel. The room was clean,the front desk clerk was very kind, the bed was comfortable and they offered decent soap,shampoo & conditioner. "Great Pet Friendly Find!"

We were really happy with this Best Western. En route home to FL from NC and wanted something clean, safe, convenient, and of course pet friendly. I found this via the Trip Advisor app and called to book so we could ensure a pet friendly room as not all rooms are designated pet friendly (so travelers with pets take note as no way to do this on line). We had two rooms on ground floor and so stayed next door to my parents traveling with us (their room was not pet friendly). Rate not bad $83 total for us (included $10 pet fee). Each room two beds (probably full size, too small for queen). Can't get king bed in pet friendly. Rooms were clean, seemed to be recently redone. Hot water in the shower. We all felt very safe. Staff extremely friendly. Pooch got a doggie bag of treats at check in! Complimentary wi fi and well stocked and neatly presented breakfast. Decent coffee too! Grounds were clean and pool looked nice. Close to I 75 but not noisy at all. Not a lot but fast food restaurant wise, we did find a good BBQ take out and enjoyed that in our room. Would definitely recommend, and would stay here again ourselves, even if we were not traveling with a pet. Cats also welcome.

Girlfriend and I stayed here for one night and enjoy the quiet night of sleep... Room was very clean bathroom is very small but that's a minor detail... although there were many people on the balcony above we didn't hear him in the hotel room... Would recommend staying here

"Relaxation"

The rooms were VERY clean and seemed to be newly remolded which looked great. The pool was very nice and well maintained. Breakfast was DELICIOUS! They have sooo many options (yogurt, waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage biscuit and gravy and more). I was very impressed with this location. I will definitely be back and this beautiful motel is located right off I-75 exit 82!

"Best I-75 GA Hotel"

We were looking for a place close to I-75 a little over half way to Tampa from Nashville. THIS IS THE BEST!! Rates were the lowest around, the hotel is very clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast was more than adequate...sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, eggs, pastries, cereal, juices, fresh yogurt, etc. We will definitely be staying here on future trips !!!

We come to Ashburn to fish and always stay here. The rooms are clean and they let me bring my pet. It is close to our property where we fish. It is easy to get to Tipton or Cordel. There are no good restaurants in Ashburn.

"Great location off I-75"

Location, location, location! Nice little hotel just off I-75. Small town with plenty of places to eat and buy fuel. The hotel was clean. TV had a nice selection of channels. Bed and linens were mice. Hotel was renovated and i. Good shape. Only negative, the bathroom was tiny.

"Beautiful rooms, great staff"

I had an emergency with my jeep on a road trip and needed a place to stay immediately. This hotel couldn't have been more amenable to me and my two boxer dogs. He had my reservation ready for me to check in when I walked in the door and moved things along quickly. The decor of the lobby is very nice as well as the rooms. The bathroom and shower are large and the coffee maker, fridge with freezer and comfortable beds and pillows exceeded my expectations. If you need somewhere to stay in Ashburn, make this your hotel. You won't regret it. There is also a restaurant next door and a convenience store in front of the hotel if you need anything. Perfect for me and my dogs, especially in our emergency situation.

We were delayed on our way to Ft. Myers by car trouble and needed to stay for a few days in order to get the car fixed. We ended up spending our two nights at this Best Western. The room was nice and comfortable and helped to ease our anxiety about our trip delays. Staff persons were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and the fresh yogurt was an added treat. The hotel lobby was very clean, as was as our room, and we would not hesitate to stay here again. There was a buffet style restaurant next-door (not sure I can mention it by name and at this time there is no listing for it on TripAdvisor) but it was very handy and surprisingly delicious. We ate all our meals there during our stay and found it everything to be delicious. The restaurant had apparently just been remodeled and re-opened recently, and we were certainly happy it was right next-door from the hotel.

Had to grab a last minute hotel room on our way back from Miami Florida.. desk clerk was amazing at getting us a room and finding the best price !! Room was huge and nicely decorated. The hotel was very clean and is right next to Carrol´s Sausages and Shoney´s Restaurant. We walked to Carol´s from the hotel and bought their bacon. It was fabulous. It is located on I-75 south. I will stay there again on my way down to Florida.

Room was not clean. Hair from previous occupant in tub and on pillows. Overall cleanliness was questionable. There was food left in the refrigerator. The bathroom was so small you had to straddle the toilet or stand in the tub to be able to close the door.

The hotel has been remodeled & is comfortable & clean. The staff was friendly & accommodating. We enjoyed our stay & plan to stay again. In the lobby the served Seattle coffee which is a nice change to drinking water downed coffee from other hotels. Breakfast was good but limited. Use to more options at other BW. We enjoyed her stay & plan on staying again

"Nice Stopover Hotel When Travelling"

We needed a place to spend the night while travelling to Florida. We had previously stayed in this hotel on another trip and were pleased with the stay. This time was not disappointing. The location is convenient to the highway. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only shortfall in service was that there was no breakfast attendant seen in the morning and some of the breakfast items were slow to be replenished. The bed was comfortable but my wife thought it was a little hard. Overall a good place to stay and a good value.

"Would rate higher but..."

I would rate this location because most of my stay was quite pleasant except our toilet would not flush. We had to lodge six complaints before the problem was taken care of (on the last day of our stay). It was only fixed then after we threatened to call corporate and move to another hotel. Also, they did not charge me the rate that I reserved on booking.com Other than that, I have no complaints. The place was quiet, clean and convenient.

Spent a night while on a road trip stop. The room was clean, small bathroom and the hotel was quiet. Good service by the front desk person. Did not use the continental breakfast so I cannot comment on it. I guess it is all right.

We were looking for someplace to spend one night on our way to Florida. Cost was a significant consideration, and the Ashburn Inn met our financial needs and had decent ratings. As other reviewers have noted, it's an older building, but an effort seems to have been made to make sure that the guest rooms and indoor public areas are clean, neat and comfortable, so don't be too put off by the outside appearance. Both desk staff when we checked in and out were exceptionally friendly. Our room was perhaps a bit Spartan but clean and comfortable. A microwave and mini-fridge are included. There's several restaurants nearby. Although there appeared to be a nice breakfast area available off the lobby, we decided to eat at the Waffle House across the street. If you're looking for style and upgraded amenities, this probably isn't the place for you. If you're looking for value, comfort and a great place to spend a night, check it out.

Breakfast, shower, cleanliness and beds were okay. check in/out, staff treatment, bathroom size and hvac system left a lot to be desired. Bedsheets were scratchy and not soft for some reason. TV remote would not work more than 3 or 4 feet from the TV.

My room had rats running around and rat dripping over the desk.I would have left and went somewhere else but all hotels in the area was fully booked. I reported the problem 3 times and nothing waa done to resolve the issue

No blanket was on the bed. It was just 2 sheets.. hard to get comfortable, uncomfortable mattress. It was chilly outside, hard to get the air right, when it was blowing you felt freezing cold and when it stopped you felt too hot. There was no happy medium.

We needed a clean comfortable room on an overnight trip from Tampa to Ashville. This was great. Great price , free breakfast. Lisa was in front desk in the morning. Very friendly and helpful. I don't recall the name of the guy who checked us in. He was dark haired, also very friendly and helpful. Well done !

This motel is renovating a little bit at a time. The renovations are very nice. Comfortable beds. Smallest Bathroom in the history of mankind! Typical breakfast fare. Nothing fancy but clean. It's just what you need for a no frills overnight trip.

Phone Call before arrival = 10 (I called to let them know that we were arriving very late. Staff responded with reassurance and caring remarks). Check in = 10 (My apology if I get the name wrong but Dharkesh I think it was who welcomed us warmly which was well needed after a long drive). Hotel comfort = 8 (Comfort of bed is a 10. I am giving it an 8 because of insufficient number of towel. I reserved for 4 adults and there were 2 towels in the room). Breakfast = 10 (Space is small, however food presentation and quality is very good.). Check out = a big fat NEGATIVE 10 (the old lady in the front desk in the morning of July 29, 2018 was so unprofessional, confrontational and extremely rude. I ask for extra towel and she literally scolded me and my husband in front of other guest. After answering her questions and explaining to her calmly that there were 4 adults in our room and only 2 towels, she went on ranting about it. I NEVER FELT SO INSULTED IN MY LIFE AND IT'S OVER A COUPLE OF TOWELS!!!! I am a nurse and I give respectful service to all my patients and their families without discrimination of age, gender, race, financial class or even the most difficult customers. Being in a former military family, respect and politeness comes naturally and I did ask politely for a couple of extra towel....I did not deserve to be insulted.). Location = 10 (near the highway). With so many hotels to choose from, customer service is very important to win customers. An in-service to all staff will help prepare them in tackling even the most difficult customers and provide cost effective service.

I probably wouldn't stay here again. The beds are uncomfortable, causing me to toss and turn most of the night. I had to change rooms because of a smoke detector beeping. Housekeeping also started beating on my door before checkout.

We randomly stopped at this motel near the World's Largest Peanut Monument. It was o.k. clean comfortable. That was all we needed. Didn't eat breakfast there. We wanted Shoney's. Unfortunately, they were out of business.

"Easy overnight stop on I-75"

A good stop on I-75, this is a good stopping point on a drive we take every other month. It is far enough south of Atlanta that traffic is easy from there to the Fla/Ga border. Exit 82 has several dinning options and the hotel staff is very friendly.

We needed a quick place to stop for the night. The hotel had good reviews, a great price, and quick on/off from I75 so we gave it a try. To start what I liked most about this place is the effort and friendliness of the staff. We received a very warm greeting. The lobby and the grounds were both well maintained and clean which shows pride so immediately I felt good about my stay. This is a motel style facility so you can park right at your door. Our room was on the ground floor and close to the lobby. The room appeared to have recent updates and was very clean. The most important aspect of a quick stop for a night of sleep are the beds. The beds were very comfortable! Breakfast was included with the room so we gave it a try. There was a nice selection of items. The breakfast are was well stocked. The host was welcoming and friendly. The coffee was very good. We were pleased with our stay and would stay again. This was a very good value and a nice place to stay for our one night stop.

We made a last minute reservation and were very pleased. The room was very large and fully renovated. No exterior hallway so you do hear noise from the highway but it was minimal. Staff very friendly. Easy access off interstate.

After a tough drive coming out of Florida and not looking forward to the challenge of Atlanta up the road, we decided to give Ashburn a try. Well Jackpot!! Great location off I 75. Huge parking. Had a trailer to park. Great pet friendly hotel with well lit secure pet area. Killer BBQ joint next door. This will be a regular stop on our South travels.

I just finished driving for 13 hours and had no reservations and I stopped here. The staff was fantastic and wide awake. They go me a room quickly. The room was fantastic. Nice clean, good wifi signal that night. The hotel is right off of I-75 and there many restaurant close by.

I reserved a main floor room at this property 3 days in advance because I had been diagnosed with a blood clot in my leg. At check-in, the clerk advised they had a large number of walk-ins so there were no main floor rooms available. I explained I had reserved a main floor room and that reservation should not be superseded by walk-ins. It was. The clerk took $10 off the cost of my 2nd floor room.

Thinking is a best western it might have good service but this motel proved me wrong. I went to the office to buy a room the guy there was mean but I thought he might had a bad day so I let that go so then I go to the room after check in and i find dead bugs on the sink and also dead roaches behind the TV so I go to the office to get a refund and the guy got mad so I advice find another motel.

"Sub-Zero temps kept us here 1 night before heading back home"

"Show up Clean. They will not allow you to shower."

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast bar was average with typical items found in a "free breakfast" offerings of hotels. Would recommend to those travelers not demanding high end experiences, but a clean and comfortable overnight stop.

older hotel, not fancy but very clean and neat and room had everything necessary, including refrigerator. Pool was advertised but very small and not in working order at the time. Room was comfortable and hot breakfast was offered. I would stay there again.

German COCKROACHES all over the bathroom and under the sink!! Management said that he thought the pesticide was being diluted too much. I would not recommend staying here because you will bring roaches home with you.

The bathroom had all the tiles missing where the wall meets the floor, and a 10" x 12 " spot in the ceiling the BLACK from the mold. I would have not stayed here if I had seen the mold the night we checked in instead of the next morning when I took a shower.

Evening travel from New York to Florida. Checked in about Midnight staff friendly, room was exactly as online photo. The hotel is visible from I-75, so no late night driving in an unknown location. WIll stay going back home in about a month.

To be honest with all those who are reviewing the hotel for period of HURRICAN IRMA is not fair at all. My family and I stayed at this hotel during the IRMA, and we were happy to find the place at the rate we did. I paid $18 more than their normal rate for FRIDAY nights and was happy. I believe the people who will write bad reviews after agreeing on a price is not fair to the hotel itself. If you don't like the price then don't stay- MOVE ON.

We stayed the night here after spending a week of camping throughout Florida. We had driven all day after leaving Disneyworld Campground and had a rough time with Atlanta rush hour traffic, so we grabbed this place out of desperation. Being a Best Western, I had certain expectations and most of them were fulfilled. However, this place is not worth $120 a night, even with the free hot breakfast. The unit that we stayed in was near the back of the lot, even though the place wasn't very full. The walls were paper thin, because we we did get people beside and above us, we heard every move they made. The people above us sounded like sumo wrestlers they were so loud. Come to find out in the morning that it was a dainty little oriental couple, so I don't know how they sounded so loud. The toilet flushed very slow and the mini fridge didn't keep things cold. The beds were so-so. After a week of camping, I was wishing that I was still lying on my air mattress under the trees. If the rate had been around $60-$70, then this place would've been alright. Also, the front desk clerk, Anastasia, was completely weird. She was commenting on my southern accent and I'm like, "Well, this is Georgia, right? Doesn't everyone sound like that around here?" And she was like, "But, you're not from Georgia." I've always sounded southern and I thought it was rude of her to point out my accent.

Had car problem and used a local Asburn repair shop which called for a rate & was verbally quoted $49/night. Shop checked Web and also saw a $49 rate. Upon check-in the Desk clerk would not honor either rate and charged double ie; $101. Upon check-out I showed clerk a Hotel coupon book stating a $49 rate. He refused it and said that I had to have presented it during check-in. I reminded him of our check-in rate discussion and he stated he WOULD NOT change the rate because ti was already in the system. He also was unable to Print a receipt of the bill and had to email it. 3 other people were also checking out before the stated 9:00 am time at 8:50 am and he told us the owner said to close down early and refused all of us any chance to even a obtain a piece of toast or roll. Then proceeded to throw out the remaining portions of the "hot" breakfast" while still eatable. We all were only allowed to take a cup of coffee. I WILL NEVER STAY AT A BEST WESTERN AGAIN AND WILL ADVISE LOCAL REPAIR SHOP NOT TO SEND ANYONE TO THIS HOTEL.

The place is old and run down. The room was filthy with several stains in the carpet and a nasty odor in the room. The TV didn't work. I reported it twice then gave up. Probably the hardest mattress I've ever slept on.

Stayed 5 days to avoid dealing with Irma in our home city. The hotel is reasonably priced, decent breakfast and has been freshly painted and kept clean. Pet friendly as well. Convenient off interstate. Town has little to offer however there is a beautiful state park not too far - Blackshear on a lake.

I found a roach on the top of the bathroom shower wall. The toilet was dirty before we got to the room. The hotel staff was very accommodating and delivered a shower cap at 2 am. Will probably find another hotel if heading up 75 towards Atlanta.

We were stopping in Ashburn because we had been travelling all day and were tired. Manager was very efficient at check-in and the room was clean and large enough for four of us. Nice bathrooms. Breakfast was fine: nothing extraordinary but good enough to get us going. Only disappointment was that the pool was not available. Travelling with children, we always try to book hotels with pools. When the reservation site does not mention it is not, it is a disappointment on arrival.

We stopped in Ashburn, Georgia and spent the night at the Best Western and overall it wasn't too bad. The front desk manager was friendly and helpful. The room he gave us was a recently remodeled king room and was nicely done, except the room must have had 50 flies and gnats buzzing around. I spent the first hour hunting insects. (We had already moved all our stuff into the room and didn't want to move again)They've added a larger refrigerator and a microwave and flat screen TV, plus new needs, mattresses and other furniture. That's very nice but they didn't touch the bathroom, which is so small you almost have to stand in the tub to close the door. The shower head and piping look original and it sprays everywhere you aren't. Not a huge deal but if you remodel, the bathroom is still important. The hot breakfast was very good, not the normal one or two items. There were cheese omelets, sausage patties, waffle maker, biscuits with sausage gravy, bagels, English muffins, Danish, and an assortment of yogurts and child cereals. Definitely more than most included breakfasts. Even with the outdated bathrooms I'd stay there again.

Went through 3 rooms to get one that was ok, The 1st one had gnats and bugs in the room. The 2nd one could not get cool and was very sticky as well as the remote control was missing. The 3rd room the key wouldn't work. When checking out in the morning the morning receptionist said well you did get a room.

They have hot BREAKFAST. Spent one night here and couldn't be happier. We arrived early in the hopes of an early check in. After checking for an available room that was ready and cleaned, the receptionist was able to assign us a room without any problem. Our room was in perfect condition, with newer furnishings and fixtures.

I had to come to town to visit with my elderly mother who is currently in rehab so it wasn't really a pleasure trip. So I didn't want any hassles, and I wanted convenience, cleanliness, and comfort. Hotel offered all of this and more. The staff was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to help me out during a stressful time.

Watermelon harvest is June and July. In this area. Be sure to call for reservations ahead of your arrival as the motels in the area lease rooms to harvest workers and leave far fewer rooms available for travelers. We lucked out getting the last room at about 6:30 pm.

This was a stop-over during a vacation trip. The hotel is rather tired in appearance but room was clean. Unfortunately our non-smoking room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. The toilet area was the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel. Air conditioning unit was loud. The soda machine was out of order and the breezeway smelled bad. Pool was being re-done so unavailable at the time, but would have been very small. On good side, front desk staff was pleasant and had a nice breakfast. Okay place for a quick overnight stay and a low price.

This Best Western appears to be an older property that has had a economy face lift. It's clean, comfortable and convenient to the interstate. Other than that, there is no reason to stop here. If you can make another 40 - 50 miles before stopping, do so. There is absolutely no place to get a decent meal within 15 miles, unless you want fast food, in which case you have your choice of many. Be forewarned, this hotel is hard to spot once you leave the interstate. Best bet - pull into the Shoney's parking lot; it connects to Best Western.

Room and carpet very clean, new furniture smelled nice. The check in clerk was very accommodating and offered me some tips on how to do future bookings with them to save more money. The motel is located right off I-75, but cannot hear any traffic noise. Very comfy beds. Breakfast was ok.

Room was clean, carpet new, bed very comfortable. Quiet. My only complaint is that they did not have orange juice for breakfast. This is the first time in 64 years that a motel did not have orange juice. The breakfast was very basic, but I didn't expect much, but I did expect the orange juice, hence the 4 rating.

I really like the Asburn Best Western because I always feel safe and the rooms I stay in are always clean and nice. The staff are very helpful and check in is fast. It's right off Interstate 75 and easy to get to. I have a dog that travels with me and this Best Western is dog friendly. I travel a lot and always choose this Best Western because of how safe I feel and the nice staff.

We decided to stay at this hotel on our trip back home from southern Florida based on the Trip Advisor reviews. The staff was very accommodating as we were traveling with a pet. The price was a wee bit more than we would have liked to pay since we were just stopping to sleep but the location and the continental breakfast also helped us to make the decision to stay. Our room appeared to have been recently renovated. It was very clean and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable. The continental breakfast was your basic continental breakfast. The proximity to gas and restaurants was great. Overall, our stay was a very good experience.

Desk clerks were not friendly or interested. Gave me wrong directions to a local restaurant. Couldn't have been less interested than they were when we reported unclean conditions. Bathroom was TINY. Easy chair had crumbs in it. Room lighting was horribly low. Bed was soft and uncomfortable. The list could go on, but that's it for this report.

Front desk was very helpful and the room was clean but there are other issues. Room had unpatched holes in the walls, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom is so small you have to stand in the tub to close the door and it would not close all the way. The free breakfast had a lot to be desired. The typical fair but the hockey puck eggs and sausage was cold, the biscuits where hard the doughnuts stale, and the juice machine was out of order. We then went out to get something and the neighborhood seemed a little unsafe. Price was good but will go else ware next time.

One night stay on my annual trek to Florida. Excellent service at reception - made a few room specific requests and got exactly what I needed. The room itself was well located at the hotel and spotlessly clean. It's an older style motel where you can park in front of your door. Made it easy to move the cat and her things from the car. WiFi worked well with a strong signal. The breakfast room was quite small, but had an adequate selection to start the day. There was a small issue with my bill which was resolved at the front desk before I left. Definitely a hotel I'd stop at again.

We have stayed at the Best Western several times on our trips to and from Florida and haven't been disappointed. We have always received a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price. The desk clerks are very nice and thoughtful. Once a local farmer brought in a basket of cantaloupes and the desk clerk insisted we take one for our trip. What a lovely gesture. They have an attractive lobby and extensive breakfast bar with many selections. There is a Shoney's next door but not much else at this intersection.

My husband and I were traveling from Florida to Ohio and decided to stop here. We weren't expecting this hotel to be as nice as it was. It is in the process of being renovated from what we could see. It had new carpet and the bathroom also appeared to have been recently updated. The down side was that we were put in a smoking room (assuming this by the ashtray on the night stand) and we aren't smokers. My husband and I woke up many times during the night because of the cigarette smell bothering us (both have an allergy to it) and the bed was firm. Water pressure was great and the location is awesome. There's tons of places to choose from to get dinner (Zaxby's, Shoney's, McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, etc.) and isn't from from the on/off ramp of I75. I do believe there are gas stations and convenience stores close by.

Had a horrible experience at another property 50 miles north of this Best Western and luckily found this property through the BW toll free number. It was well worth the trip - we had a handicapped family member traveling with us who cannot navigate stairs. This Best Western held the room for us and it was well worth the trip. Our room was marvelous - we were able to drive up right to the door, and the room was clean and welcoming. Huge flat-screen TV, nice desk area, nice lounge chair, microwave, mini-fridge, and wonderful beds. Only minus would be a teeny tiny bathroom. Ton of restaurants nearby either driving or walking distance. Easy on/off from I-75 and lots of gas stations to get back on the road. Thank you, Best Western!

Inexpensive hotel in a small town turned out to have great service, a very clean room and comfortable bed, and an excellent breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised as we had changed our route because of Hurricane Matthew and made this reservation in the afternoon of the night we wanted to stay there.

The BW, Ashburn, was a sensational find! We drive from Iowa to Florida, Florida to Iowa, yearly and this was the first time for us to visit the BW Ashburn Inn. The facility is in marvelous condition and we were pleased beyond measure! We travel extensively and this was A FIND!

We stayed here on the way up to Nashville and then again on the way home from Nashville. It's the halfway mark for us. This hotel is clean, safe and comfortable with a friendly staff. We liked it so much we stayed twice. And will more than likely stay with them again for the same road trip in the future. The breakfast was great and the price was right. Plus the WORLDS LARGEST PEANUT MONUMENT is right near it. Who can resist?!? I recommend it. See you again. Thank you!

Had to leave due to approaching hurricane, the stay was great, service, and staff were very nice, never experienced any problems. Lots of places close by to get food and gas if needed. Would stay here again, nice town to visit. Go Best Western your a winner again

This little place was a great find. Were moving from Florida to Texas and just passing through ashburn. For the price, it is a very comfortable stay. Beds are kinda firm but the pillows are fabulously fluffy and soft. You get a microwave and mini fridge, a nice tv, and a hair dryer as well as nice soaps and lotion. Rooms are very clean. The housekeepers do a very good job keeping the rooms fresh and clean. Pet friendly too! All in all a great place to stay :)

We booked this through Hotwire (never had this bad luck with them), so unfortunately, this place had our money whether we liked it or not. We pulled up around 9:40pm and got promptly checked-in, no problem there, but when we started to observe what was going on around us, it did not feel like this was a safe place to stay with our two babies. There were "workers" taking up five spots to the right of us blaring their polka type music, drinking beers, as the check-in guy told us, they were "just blowing off steam, they should be gone in an hour or so" Seriously? This place is exposed to the parking lot, so you could hear the music and loud talking into the room. If you are only concerned about the room, it was fine and looked clean enough for the deal you probably got, but we had a smoker outside, couple upstairs shouting at each other. These people were not just "passing through travelers" or if they were, not the kind we would like to be around. The pool does not work, the "workers" stay there - don't know how long they "stay" there, but maybe the guy is afraid of telling them to leave? So long story short, we listened to our guts, didn't trust our packed full SUV not to get broken into (we saw other sketchy cars just circling the parking lot, so we are not just complaining about the "workers") knew that we just flushed a total of $79 w/ taxes down the toilet and drove ourselves home to Atlanta and arrived at 1am, better safe than sorry!

We drove as far as we could and needed to get a good nights rest. The Best Western had clean rooms and great beds. We compared a couple of the other nearby hotels and this was the best by far. I would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a great nights rest.

Very clean. Large room with a table and chairs. Efficient check in. Free wifi, requires username and password. Very convenient outlets in the room to plug in electronics. Decent television. Microwave, Refrigerator, and Coffee Maker. Large bathroom vanity. I agree with the other reviewers, the room for the toilet and shower is a little on the small side. Clean towels. Shampoo and lotion in the room. Clean and comfortable bed and pillows. Clean shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Parking area was very well lit and no issues with feeling safe. Very nice room for the price. I would stay here again. Entry to the rooms is from the exterior, no elevator to the second floor rooms. Note: Smoking rooms are available.

I was disappointed in my stay at the Best Western Ashburn Inn. My non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke. Probably due to the room next to me and above me being smoking rooms. Both mattresses were old and uncomfortable and the pillows were small and uncomfortable. Bathroom was extremely small and tight. Overall the room was clean and the staff were very responsive and friendly.

Excellent staff, great value and good location. We enjoyed our time at this hotel. We visited the country store down the street and had a great surprise, a real country store. We felt right at home at this location. Again the staff was excellent. We will stay here again!

I booked this hotel through expedia and got what I felt like was a great rate. The room was clean...a little dated, but nothing terrible. It seemed like most of the travelers were the same as us...just passing through to get some rest for the night. It was a large room. It was quiet and I felt safe. We went to Shoney's for breakfast the next morning so I don't remember if there was a free breakfast offered in the lobby.

Clean, hospitable, reasonable rate, good bed and amazingly quiet. There were a lot of cars so it appeared to be almost full and it was still quiet. All the staff were friendly and accommodating We plan to stay on our return home.

I normally avoid motels. But Best Western seems to have taken a proactive approach to limit access, which is has been my own personal concern. We felt very secure and had a sound sleep. The motel is older, bu has be well maintained, it is clean, firm clean beds. The staff are very professional and the breakfast staff are friendly and accommodating to requests.

I had no idea a chain like Best Western would still have smoking rooms. I would have never thought that I needed to request a non-smoking room prior to the stay. We stopped here halfway on our way to Orlando and instead of having a restful night to hit the road the next day, we felt like we had slept in a gas chamber. The front desk tried to give up some air freshener spray to help, but that did nothing except temporarily mask the awful smell with more harmful chemicals. The room was otherwise clean and fine for just a quick stop, but never again will I support any hotel who still has smoking rooms and doesn't ask your preference prior to your stay. I think if you're going to have smoking rooms, they should only be given to parties who specifically request a smoking room instead of the other way around. You should assume most people would want non-smoking since that is standard policy in almost every major hotel chain that I know of today.

I travel...extensively for business. Out of the MANY hotels I've stayed in this last year, Best Western was one of my better experiences. The price is right, the place is clean and comfy. Front Desk - Danny (Dhanesh) was one of the best. He really seamed to appreciate that I chose BW. The fact that he showed interest in making my stay enjoyable really made my day. NICE PLACE to stay.

There was a strong musty smell in my room. Also, the air conditioning unit had a very, very loud humming/buzzing noise. I reported to the help desk but they did not fix the issue. Since they did not have other vacant room, I had to raise the temperature, to keep the a/c from running. Far from a comfortable experience.

If this is the best hotel in Ashburn, I certainly do not want to see what the others look like. This hotel is outdated, smells like old cold tobacco, personnel did not greet me in Ny form or fashion and just asked for my ID through the window... Felt like I was checking in some kind of jail... Really awkward.

Average hotel, but the room was clean & the bed was comfortable. The only downside was that I couldn't get a room on the first floor as I requested at the time I made the reservation & there isn't an elevator. The pool is very tiny. Overall, for a one-night stay, it was fine & the price was reasonable.

There was a musty odor in the room, but we were tired, so we stayed. The place is decent, but the bathroom was TINY! The breakfast was acceptable, though I fail to understand why it's sausage, sausage, and more sausage, and bacon is not offered. All in all, an OK place to stay, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to stay there.

Very comfortable and clean. A good sleep after a hard day of driving. My wife, dog, and I were very tired and rest was great here. No problems. Breakfast was very satisfying. A pleasant experience. The grounds were well kept and my dog enjoyed the walk. We would stay here again if in the area.

Very clean. Easy on/off I-75. Attentive staff. Extra towels. Great breakfast. Next to Carroll's Sausage company, where shopping was a delight. Instead of mail-ordering from Carroll's, we plan to drive there from Fort Myers and spend another splendid evening at the Best Western.

From the outside it is an older motel so did not except much. But was wrong. Room was clean with updated bedding. For me, mattress and pillows were perfect. Close to freeway with easy on/off. Front desk personnel were very helpful in all respects from checking to see if nearby CVS was open on Easter to getting us extra coffee for the room. Was traveling with my sister who is dairy intolerant (we requested almond or soy milk in reservation comment section) and they had it waiting for her in the morning. Sister left her pillow the next morning. She called and they found and kept her pillow that we were able to get on the return trip. You have a Shoney's next to motel you can walk to and a CVS drugstore just a short block away.

The hotel staff were great ! Supplies were lacking for the room... no coffee. Breakfast was a disaster. Out of food or ill prepared, Service for the breakfast was very poor. Many left to eat else where because of the breakfast choices and service. Too bad a black eye for a really nice hotel.

This is not the place you want to stay for a good night sleep as the walls are so thin, you could hear your neighbour talking. The tv station was the same as ours. I have never seen such a small bathroom. It was not full but they put everyone beside each other. Very disappointed and will not return.

This is an older Inn that is now part of the Best Western chain. Updating is needed to meet the Best Western quality we've come to expect. Bathroom needs to be enlarged! There is a Shoney's & Zaxby's within walking distance and gas station nearby as well.

We couldn't drive any further due to torrential rain and reduced visibility so we exited I-75 at Asburn GA and booked into this hotel. We lucked out as it was a good place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was all we could ask for. Recommend it.

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Nice breakfast selections. Manager was always restocking. Best Western has upscale bedding and towels. Shoney resturant right next door was good. Very good value. Wiil stay here again on our next trip south.

This property offers travelers everything that they would need for an affordable price. Complimentary breakfast offered a good variety and was kept clean and full. The bed was quite comfortable. The room offered a microwave, refrigerato and was otherwise nicely appointed. Easy parking and on/off from I-75.

Room was dirty. Toilet wouldn't flush. Front desk called our room twice, once at 1030 and once at 1115 to ask us our names...woke us up twice. We stay at best western often but never this location again.

Nice clean, quiet room. The only problem was the price advertised on the internet was $49.50 plus tax, but when I checked in I was told "that needs to be updated" and I had to pay $60 plus tax. I would have stayed at another motel in a bigger town with more stores and restaurants if I had known. I should have nailed down the price by making a reservation in advance.

Kevin at desk was professional and nice to talk to. Room was clean and renovated. Breakfast was good. I forgot my pillow and called couple days later and they mailed it to me in 3 days. Pizza hut across street was fine to bring back to room for relaxing evening. Good TV and frig and micro. Can't ask for more. Will stop again.

Spent one night. Grounds well maintained and hotel very clean for an older hotel. Bathroom is small but useable. Excellent breakfast selection and again very clean. Night front desk clerk could use some training on assisting guests on sign-in. Not rude, but just there. Would stay again.

The room itself was acceptable. Internet was slow. The main problem was with the bathroom which was old and needed updated. The toilet and tub are in one little bitty room, at least in room 115. It was difficult to move in the bathroom when closing the door. One plus was that one could back the car up just in front of the door to unpack easily instead of having to carry things down a hallway.

From poor to terrible internet connection to lousy breakfast where they ran out of almost everything, there is no good reason to stay here. They ran out of orange juice, eggs, milk and never checked once to see if anything was needed. The staff looked unprofessional and seemed bemused by the concept of working.The hotel is run down, the area is blighted and overpriced. We usually stay at a Best Western because we travel with our dachshunds. We won't be back.

Older style of motel with your basics. Was in a second floor room that had adjoining door that was paper thin that you could easily hear the conversation of others next door. The toilet was dated and barely flushed. Also room was not stocked with shampoo. Breakfast looked fine, crispy creme donuts not bad. Overall will choose another location while in Southern Georgia.

I was not going to be in the room long, so I didn't want to pay much at all. The billboards on I-75 said $42. With tax it was $53. The room was so clean!! I was so pleased and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was hot and the towels were clean!! What a bargain!! Zaxbys and Pizza Hut are next door. Great deal!

This is a great stop over for travelling I-75. Easy access, room for big rigs, rooms clean and neat. Good restaurant next door. Large, lighted parking lot. Sited perfectly to avoid highway noise. A definite we will stop there again.

We came in with a coupon that said the room would be $59. Ok, sounds about right for a motel with all outside doors to the rooms, in the middle of nowhere. So I give the TOALLY UNINTERESTED clerk the coupon and she looks at it and says "well, when all is said and done, the room will be $73." (she looked like she wished I would walk away). Were we not desperate, we would have boogied down 20 + more miles to another Motel City.

Watch 'em, they're sneaky. This property is on the lower end of Best Westerns. I have stayed here many times and I am a Best Western Diamond Level; this did not matter. They still tried to pull a fast one. Rate on line - $68. Sign on hwy. - $59 for one person. I checked in and she charged me $89 - $30 more !! I stated I would not pay it, and I had to argue her down to $62. So much for valued customer. Then, room was so musty it was difficult to sleep. Both of us woke up with sore throats and very congested. I will not stay here again, and recommend the same for travelers that want a decent level of comfort and an honest, not games rate.

Since it was a weekday, I wish they had lower rates which was disappointing. It is a very quiet hotel, and the maids do not bang on your door the second it is check out time which was nice. I did have problems in the room, but they really try to address. The AC units do need to be replaced from being aged and odorous. The room has a microwave and mini fridge. That was helpful.The tv is a flat screen and works great but had direct tv which doesn't have the best selection. the matresses sit very high up, and are extremely firm and uncomfortable. Your bathroom door will hit the toilet- possibly an error when they remodeled. The carpet is brand new. AAA did not lower the rate any less than the best rate online. I did let AAA know. Overall, still impressed by the considerate staff.

Nice Hotel.We got a smoking room as we requested. Didnt smell like a smoking room. Clean. Quiet and Comfortable. Nice TV too. Bathroom kind of smaller than usual. Do not recommend restaurant next to it. Buffet style ..everything tasted the same.

This hotel is between Tifton and Cordele. It has a good rate small town. There are several fast food restaurants around. The rooms are clean and everything works. For those who need internet I had no problems. This is a good stop for business or family. The breakfast bar is very good for the rate.

We were travelling from Atlanta down to Florida and needed a stop on the way which wasn't too far to travel. We like Best Western and this hotel answered our needs in respect of distance and time from Atlanta. It turned out to be a good choice as the staff, room and breakfast were all excellent. Well worth considering.

Good location off Interstate with easy access back on. Clean property including grounds, hallways and rooms. Room was very clean and needs met. My only quirk was that they charged $5 for an ground level room. GA tax rates made our $59 room $78. Still a great value for a hotel with a hot breakfast included.

This hotel reminded me of a four star hotel. Big clean rooms, excellent wi-fi in room, delicious breakfast all for one low price. At check-in I discovered the ice machine on the first floor was out of order, I had a bad knee and couldn't climb the stairs to the second floor. Without asking Reanna took it upon herself to bring a large bucket of ice to my room so I could put and ice pack on my swollen knee. Tip: the Shoney's buffet next door was excellent.

No complaints, friendly staff, clean room, handicap bathroom was a plus even though we didn't request it. No bad smells in the room and breakfast was a plus. Located right off Interstate 75 and convenient location for gas fill up and eats.

right next to the interstate, this hotel was easy to find and comfortable. Check-in was easy and fast, and breakfast was fine. Rooms were clean and acceptable. Bathroom was small. Not much to do in the area, but that is not the fault of the hotel. definitely an acceptable place to stay after a long drive.

This is a nice motel. The staff is friendly and informative of local attractions as well as travel pointers. The rooms are clean, comfy and welcoming. The continental breakfast is fresh and a great way to start the day. Shoney's is next door and within walking distance. That makes this the ideal place to stop in time to take advantage of their dinner specials.

"Unexpected!"

Stopped into town for a business trip and an overnight stay. Decided to stay at Best Western over the other two options available - Super8 Motel or Days Inn, which all 3 were on the same block. Quick check-in and a pleasant receptionist was a great start. Got a room downstairs and was able to park my SUV right in front of my room's windows. The room itself was non-smoking, but had a faint smell of what seemed to be some old AC condensation, but again, it was VERY faint and wouldn't even consider that a concern. I was surprised (for a town that has less than 2,000 residents) how decently updated everything inside was, not to mention spotless! I've stayed at hotels all around the country and the rooms I've paid $300+ a night for weren't as clean as the Best Western in Ashburn. Every corner of this place was dust-free and as clean as it could be. The tub area and shower were shiny and spotless and even had a non-slip pad in the tub. Plenty of clean towels and toiletries ready. Plenty of coat hangers, a working iron, hairdryer, a working microwave, coffeemaker, and a mini-fridge that wasn't stuffed with garbage for purchase - thank you. Ample amounts of lighting throughout the room with power plugs conveniently located nearby. I expected the bed to be crappy (don't know why), but the mattress was actually the exact firmness that I prefer. There were many soft pillows and the sheets were exceptionally clean. Aside my unfriendly neighbor next door who decided to bump talk radio at 6am (quickly fixed by the receptionist Linda, which I swiftly dialed to complain), I got a surprisingly amazing night's sleep! As a matter of fact, I don't remember the last time I've slept THAT well at a hotel! Continental breakfast was alright, was impressed by the waffle maker that was there for you to make your own fresh waffles. Fresh apple/orange juices, milk, coffee, and teas were available. There were bagels, bread, sausage and egg patties, cereal, cinnamon buns, yogurts, bananas, all kinds of condiments, etc.. All in all I was very satisfied with my stay at Best Western Ashburn Inn! Highly recommend the place to anyone passing by on their way to Florida or if in need to rest their weary head after a long drive. You'll get the sleep you deserve.

My staff and I would like to Thank You for taking the time to make a comment about Best Western in Ashburn Georgia. We are a small town but we have a great attitude and great places to eat. We have one of the best BBQ restaurants around called Keith-O-Que. We are conveniently located at exit 82 off of I-75. Have a great day!!
