Resumen de la reserva
On arrival, the restaurant and bar were closed with no previous warning. We received an email prior to arrival saying it was open and touting it as a major part of the hotel. There are no similar facilities within walking distance from the hotel.
Stayed two night with the use of one of there conference rooms for an all day meeting. Was a good experience with no issues. Staff was pleasant and helpful, and room was clean and as quiet as a hotel can expect to be. Would recommend and use again for future events.
service was great, beds comfortable, ac was a little loud, enjoyed our stay, close to all amenities, free breakfast a little short, only small 3 bite muffins and not many to go around, coffee good in room, pleasant staff, front desk easy to deal with, good view from room, casino was busy but quiet
Very noisy. Kids running up and down the hallways on both evenings. Staff did nothing to alleviate the problem. At check in the front desk staff were very cordial but failed to point out any of the amenities of the property. At checkout the front desk offered little to no explanation or apology for the two nights of noisy kids. Very poor customer service.
The company booked my room at this location because we had meetings in their Penthouse Meeting room during the week. Never again. The location looks great from the maps, but once on the property you find there is no way to head west without taking a long detour either through a shopping mall or going downtown Prince George. Highway 16 has a solid median to control traffic. "Resort" is a long stretch of the imagination. Breakfast is available starting at 11am: yes you read that right 11am, so you need to drive to the closest restaurant (nothing within walking distance). They have a take-away coffee shop with very limited selection available for twice the price of any other coffee shop ($11.50 for an English muffin with egg and ham). There is a casino attached to - but not accessible from the hotel - the only saving grace for this property. This location advertises that they "Welcomes Best Western Members" but the front desk has no concept as to how to incorporate the BW Membership number into their systems, nor is it anywhere on their reservation system. When visiting Prince George there are much, much better choices for places to stay on a business trip.
Very dirty room 201 , with dog food and poo stuck in the walls. No soap to wash hands after using the washroom, just a body bar- gross. Hair on the toilet at check in. Just an overall dirty room. The hall lights kept me up because the room was way too bright from the lack of seal. The pool area was atrocious. Not once did the staff come in and tell the half a dozen kids to get their WINTER BOOTS out of the pool. There was garbage EVERYWHERE and now towels. The pool was freezing cold so we couldn't use it and the hot tub was no warmer than a bath. The breakfast cafe sold over priced and very disappointing food and coffee. Won't be back!
This hotel was great. Abhi was wonderful at check in. The room on the new side was very nice. The kids got welcome packs and we had everything we needed in our rooms. Not to mention the pool & slide- very fun for the family. We will be back!
Packed parking lot. Smokers everywhere. And no soundproofing in the floors. Three days of listening to people upstairs stomping around their room. Well bot be staying here again..unless I'm coming to gamble and smoke.
🚨🚨🚨WARNING!!!🚨🚨🚨 🚫DO NOT STAY HERE‼️‼️‼️🚫 ‼️DANGER‼️YOU WILL BE ROBBED‼️‼️ THE MANAGEMENT ARE CRIMINALS‼️ I stayed there for 3 nights and I absolutely REGRET staying at this criminally run joke of an establishment. They will rob you blind for their own mistakes. When I arrived to the hotel at night I checked in and was immediately met by this rancid odor on the second floor hallway. Getting to the room finally I was amazed to find out the smell was even worse. It was like dirty toilet water. The smell began to make me feel sick to my stomach shortly after being in the room. My only options were to spray my expensive designer fragrances around the room or light some incense. I chose to light some incense. After such a long days travel all I wanted was a warm shower and to retire to bed. Unfortunately I didn't know things were only about to get much worse for me. When I turned on the shower I was met by a small pool of water filling up in the tub because the drain was blocked so much so that the water takes a very long time to drain. I called the front desk to complain about the situation and was told no one was around to address the blockage until the morning. It's a horrible experience having to shower with a pool of water at your feet. During the 3 days there that was my experience because no one came to fix the blockage. When I was packing to leave my facial peel fell and some spilled I'm the tub and the house keeping used that to blame me for a drain blockage that was already present when I arrived. Facial peel can't possibly clog a drain. They also charged me for the ashes from the incense that I had to light to stop myself from vomiting because of the dirty toilet water smell that fills the room. $650.00 I was charged because their drain was blocked and the room stinks like a ceptic tank. That is robbery, terrible business practice and should be illegal. Stay far away from this place if you don't want to fall victim to these thieves and thugs. Blocked drains, foul odors and lights that flicker on and off all night is what you will pay double for if you plan to stay at this disgusting place. I am going to file a report with the better business bureau and every other authority possible since they refuse to return my calls or refund the money they stole. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS CRIMINAL ESTABLISHMENT ‼️‼️‼️‼️
This best western hotel is nice to look at but not being able to sleep through the night sure made it not enjoyable. There was a constant ticking in the walls which reminded me of a leaky faucet dripping. Highway noise at this hotel is horrific. If you are a light sleeper like myself, I would avoid staying here. I ran the fan on high all night but it still didn't mask the highway noise. My experience either breakfast was also horrible. The restaurant opens st 7am, however nothing was setup and the server wasn't there until around 7:30. Do not drink the coffee! Absolute garbage. There were 2 other tables with people at them. My order came out incorrect, with burnt eggs and cold toast. I left hungry as I didn't have time for kitchen staff to learn how to cook. I visited the casino the night if my arrival and it was pretty good. You can't access it from the hotel but it's a quick duck outside then you are there. Pleasant staff and decent drinks and food. Overall, I would never stay at this hotel again.
We stayed in the 3 queen room and was very spacious and comfortable/ The Hotel had good customer service, the restaurant had excellent food. Great amenities The kids liked the swimming pool, but it could be warmer to make it more enjoyable for family orientated experience
Beautiful stay I courage others to stay here. I enjoy my stay as it was my birthday. My review is legit. I love this hotel and glad my parents got me a room. They also got 2 more that night for my brother and his family
I am always grateful for the respect, kindness, and go above and beyond for you attitude by Treasure Cove staff. This is my favorite place to stay in Prince George. The vehicles are safe on lot. You get to have a little fun at the Bingo/ Casino and walk right to your room after winning ! I feel safe in their hands and enjoy some R and R! Good idea to book ahead especially on weekends.
Do not stay here anytime parties are planned in the upper Penthouse party room. Extreme noise in all rooms adjacent to Penthouse regardless of floor! Business travelers beware if your trip encompasses a weekend. Management unwilling to move guests away from noise.
Had a awesome stay. Was just an overnighter for some Christmas shopping. Room was comfortable and clean, and staff was very friendly. The supper at the Grand Trunk was very good and filling. So much so we were still full the next morning and had to miss the continental breakfast.
Staff were amazing. Internet wasn't great. Pool was clean hot tub relaxing. Bed very comfortable. Stayed 3 days had a very relaxing stay. God location to get where needed. Hope to go back sometime soon.
Most improved!! I went to Treasure Cove Prestige Hotel with my mom, dad, sister. We had booked two rooms, and we had a pleasant stay. the staff are all very kind and helpful, the manager is knowledgeable, experienced and reasonable. Really appreciate the good service, and clean rooms.
Front desk and rooms were good I would book a room probably once a month if the access to the casino was open for a date night but with winter being here I don't see why we have to go outside to access the casino.
Very impressed with the stay. Even when you walked into the hotel it was clean, and smelled fresh. There was a clear attention to detail with whoever cleans this place I was presently surprised with this!
Just a basic blah room. Super dark. I had to take the lampshades off the lamps just to get a little more light into the room. Casino was fun and won a few bucks there. Food was good at the casino too. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. Wifi a bit sketchy.
dont stay here if you dont wanna walk a long way to the hotel door it gets cold in prince george also no free breakfast in the morning , the tv is bad no movie channels you always have to wait for the guide to roll around very loud in the hallway at night yeah i know its a casino and i dont think they care the bestwestern coming into town is much better
Recently stayed here while on a business trip. The checkin process was great, very nice and informative staff. The coffee shop in the lobby was a great way to start the morning while on the run. The only challenge I had was the attention to detail on the housekeeping. Having said this, they were busy while I was there and any issue raised was resolved quickly.
Stayed in the grooms suite for a little get a way and was very impressed with the newly built expansion and the new suites they have. Was able to use the jacuzzi and loved the king size bed. Only feedback I have was the half glass shower which can have spray over and get the bathroom floor wet.
I've stayed at a lot of different hotels in Prince George and I can say this one is the best, starting with front desk people like arun and alap as well as others who are professional and extremely efficient at their work to the very clean and comfortable rooms. There is also the grand trunk pub/ restaurant with an amazing host Lindsay who delivers one of the best beef dips ever. A must try
Pool table and pool were a big hit with my Neice. Very friendly staff. Great dinner in restaurant, perfect staycation! Would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Hope I get to stay again soon.
I stayed at this property last weekend with my friends. This is my favorite hotel in town. I always feel special when I come to stay. The rooms was very clean and staff was very friendly. This place have everything, onsite restaurant, breakfast bar, coffee bistro, great pool with covid restriction.
I recently booked a room at this facility in Prince George. I specifically chose this facility because of the amenities that were offered on the website. I requested a room that had a fireplace and jetted tub. When I arrived on January 21, 2021, I was assigned to a room which did have a fireplace and jetted tub. Turned out the fireplace didn't work. I had two different staff members come up prior to 6pm and they both said that they would call Maintenance. It wasn't until 2 hours later when I called the Front Desk that they informed me the call to Maintenance was not going to happen that night. This meant the fireplace in the room was not useable for the night of my stay. I asked to speak with the manager upon check out and was told if I had any issue, I had to contact the booking agency, I asked for and paid for a room with a fireplace and jetted tub. In spite of the fireplace not working, the hotel has refused to reimburse me in any way because of their cancellation policy. I did NOT cancel anything. If I had know that amenities listed on the web site were not available, I would have not booked a room at this facility.
Little to no service - had to ask for towels and other basic room items like coffee, cups etc and pick up later in the day. due to COVID - no housekeeping i guess. lobby - always dirty as there was construction going on and workers must have walked through the lobby. elevators not cleaned in the entire 4 days we were there. I had visited this hotel a couple of years ago when family was staying there - would not recommend again nor stay there again.
Stayed here frequently. I booked two reservations a week apart and they only sent confirmation of the second one then when I email they sent me the same confirmation. They called to say they couldn't find the first one. When we checked in they automatically put a hold on our credit card for $600 for a 3 night stay! Cost for the damage deposit is more than the room. People should be informed when they make the reservation as not everyone can afford this to be held for a week. It gets released but takes up to week to be credited back. We have never had to pay a damage deposit before and we've stayed over 40-50 times since they opened. Also they aren't enforcing their own rules around pool and spa use. People were waiting to use but they allowed some guests to stay for 2hrs and didn't ask them to leave their rule is 30mins so other guests can enjoy it as well as only groups of 6 are allowed at this time due to COVID. The rooms are ok but showing their age perhaps they should have renovated before expanding. Second stay the shower pull was stuck.
Comment on the Limo Driver Lloyd Pedersen , At the Prestige Treasure Cove had the fortunate experience to have the Limo for my Son's Wedding, Unbelievable, Lloyd treated the whole wedding party with great service, fun and Total respect. If you have the chance book Lloyd he'll take care of you... Thanks Prestige will recommend you in a 2nd...
My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. The room we had was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The pool and hot tube were very appealing and added to our overall experience. What stood out was how friendly the Sales manager for this hotel greeted us when we came and went out of her way to bid us farewell. A very nice touch. Major additions are being made to this hotel. But all the construction did not take away from our expeirence
We stayed there Sunday night and I could not have been more pleased. We got a room upgrade and had a lovely king sized bed , fireplace and soaking tub. I loved that tub!! I made sure I had a few good floats. The room was spacious and lovely. The hotel was nicely designed and elegant. My only complaints.. the king sized bed footboard stuck out and my boyfriend and I wacked our knees and shins numerous times.. I suggest you remove this. Also... there is a window between the bathroom and bedroom... that doesn't close around the edges... so prepare that if you are not there alone.. you will smell and hear everything! They also did an amazing thing for us.. because I am a frontline worker they gave me great deal.
We recently stayed at this hotel two nights (separate stays) and the hotel met our needs. This hotel is listed as a Best Western Hotel, however, there is no markings/signage on the outside indicating this. As I haven't been in Prince George for many years, it took me a bit to realize I was at the correct location. Our room was clean and had the amenities we needed. An extra bar of soap in the bathroom would have been nice. Also, there was no hairdryer in our room which I understand may have been due to COVID-19 but it would have been nice to have this mentioned when we checked-in. I had brought my own. Also due to COVID-19, there was no breakfast included for the room charge. It still would have been nice to have been offered something in lieu -- even a little reduction in the room rate.
My family and I stayed at this hotel a few months ago, and the experience wasn't satisfactory. Thankfully, management took care of our next stay, and vowed to show us that the last stay wasn't indicative of how the hotel is normally run. This stay was SIGNIFICANTLY better. Check in was swift, the room was spotless and updated, the beds were comfortable, our kids loved the pool and water slide ( and I loved that it was clean ), and they had a little bistro with complementary breakfast options down in the lobby. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and I'm glad we gave this hotel another shot.
My husband travels for work alot so believe me when I say we stay at alot of hotels. Out of all my stay this place was not our best stay and I would say they are a total RIP off. You pay over $100. We had no microwave in our rooms they said their was breakfast there there wasn't. Being a mom that I am had packed instant oatmeal just incase I couldnt even cook that for him. I went down stair where there was hot water and a microwave 5 times by the time I got the oatmeal to my son he was beyond starving. Not only that but I've traveled to a hotel before check in time and they managed to make it work. My family travel all day and they could get into their room until 4!! 4!!! They have young kids. They ket my parents in at 2 though because of a certain card they had. Also the dam casino should have it own parking because walking two parking lots sizes with kids walking by drunk was not on my TV do list. We will not be staying there again. If you want your family near a bunch of drunks this is the place to stay. We only stayed there because we had certificates to that hotel.. well never again. Our fridge was also filthy and old moldy coffee ground in the pot.
This is a large hotel located on a large property above the City of Prince George. It is located at the intersection of Hwy 16 & Hwy 27, and is co-located with a very active Casino. Having stayed here on 4 different occasions, I have found that due to high Casino attendance has left parking for the hotel accommodation to be a challenge. I have witnessed hotel guests transporting their luggage over quite a distance from the overflow parking lot. Vehicles are “orbiting” the lot closer to the hotel lobby seeking a vacant slot to occupy. The hotel itself is a good family destination. There is a large aquatic facility, complete with a waterslide to the delight of children. A good restaurant is next door to the aquatic centre serving lunches & dinner. There are ongoing renovations to the building. Highway 27 traffic generates a significant amount of noise starting as early as 05:00 as commuters start their journeys and continues into the late evening. It impacts rooms on all floors on the north side of the building. The 4th floor (top) roof on the north side hosts a loud and large air handling unit operating 24/7. I found it to be disturbing. The rooms are very clean, and staff are friendly and helpful with local knowledge.
1) As a single parent, I almost never have opportunities to travel for work. I really looked forward to getting away for the night and sitting in the hot tub. However, when I booked online, neither was I notified that the hot tub was not in working order, nor was it shared with me that the hotel was under renovations. 2) Which brings me to... My room. Had a long day at training which was "heavy" regarding residential schools and trauma. Checked in after my training to find that the hot tub was down. Bummer. Okay. It is what it is. Check-in to my room to find that not only is there construction happening on the hotel, but there is scaffolding and men working LITERALLY right out side my window! :O So I close my blinds even though it is daytime, because I feel extremely uncomfortable and NOT private. 3) Decide since that I cannot go relax in the hot tub, I will have a shower. I go into the bathroom to place my shampoo and conditioner in the shower, and find THREE HAIRS right there where the shampoo goes!!! So I go downstairs and request a new room. My last training experience I stayed in a hotel where I got bit by bedbugs, and I have a phobia of dirty hotels. If the bathroom is obviously that dirty, is the BED CLEAN??!! :O :( The front desk woman was helpful, asked me to email her a photo of the hairs, which I did. Both agreed it was really gross. Hairs were large and dark and obvious. 4) Bring my luggage to my new room. It faces the parking lot and has a small balcony. I am so happy and relieved for the privacy and thankful for the understanding by the lovely lady at the front desk not turning the dirty bathroom into a more of an issue. It has been now an extra long day, and so again, I bring my things to the shower stall to attempt another shower. EXCEPT! MORE HAIRS. Literally there are more hairs in the exact same place in the new room. With a DIFFERENT housecleaner's name on the piece of paper. 5) I leave my luggage in the room and go down to the front desk. I said, "I'm so sorry about this, and you aren't going to believe this, but this bathroom is dirty too." I show her pictures. She told me she would discuss the situation with housecleaning supervisor. Because I have had a very very long day and I'm tired of shuffling rooms and frankly 2/2 rooms were dirty and I just want to get a clean room when it's costing me $170...I ask her if she can just send a housecleaner please to reclean the room. I told her I would go to the casino for a little while to allow time for her to send a housecleaner up to my room. I did indeed do this, and when I returned there were THANK GOODNESS, finally no hairs in the bathroom this time. 6) The alarm clock did not work. I pressed the B button trying to turn it off as I did not wish to wake up at the time set on the clock. It would not respond to any buttons pushed. I hoped maybe it was just broken altogether and decided to leave it. Bad idea. Woke me up at a crazy hour and I had to turn my lamp on, pull the side table out and try to find the plug in to unplug the whole thing. In general, you can see that I had an overall negative experience. I cannot say that I will be likely to recommend this hotel, nor will I be choosing this hotel again for myself for training experiences or fun nights out on the town. There is no breakfast available in the morning, the 2/2 rooms were not cleaned, the facilities were down and not mentioned online...it just was not a good experience at all.
This trip was personal, I had the opportunity to stay at another hotel, all paid and yet I chose to stay here. This hotel is always clean, comfortable and friendly. The staff is wonderful and will go beyond the "job description" to help out.
Currently there is no breakfast restaurant serving the hotel. Needs an on site breakfast solution. The Casino next door is great and so is the pub/Bistro for dinner and lunch. Parking is great. Currently under construction or addition, but would not know it.
