"Beautiful hotel for a brilliant price! "

Ellen L, Kent 21/02/2020

Me and my boyfriend were slightly optimistic when booking this hotel due to the mixed reviews. We stayed in the Suite Eiffel and it was beautiful! It's like a small apartment as you have a room with a tv and sofa then a room for the toilet then the bedroom and open bathroom. The bathroom is absolutely stunning! The view at night when the Eiffel Tower is lit up is just breath taking. Only thing I would say to be careful of is the bath and shower and they can leak abit but not a major issue! The staff were really friendly and helpful. It's a quiet hotel so we didn't eat here. There are lots of places to eat near by and the two nearest metro stations are about a 5 minute walk. Taxi's are also reasonable in Paris so the hotel called a Taxi for us a couple of times when we was there. There is a lot of pictures on here that are outdated as the whole hotel has been redone and is very nice and modern!

"Good hotel could be better "

R3945LFmarys, Antrim, United Kingdom 24/01/2020

We stayed in Best Western Eiffel Cambronne recently and were disappointed after staying in lovely best western hotels around the world this one was below the standard. Some of the reception staff weren't that friendly and were reluctant to give any help/advice. We had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. My bf had contacted the hotel to ask for balloons or something special in our room as it was my birthday, got to the hotel and nothing, disappointing! Our shower leaked all over the bathroom floor everytime we used it and was never fixed our whole stay there. Close to a metro station which is good and the room was nice but staff including cleaners need better customer service skills. Breakfast €18 each, what a rip off, bakery across road from hotel gets two people breakfast for €3! Wish we had chosen a different hotel but this was ok, don't think worth the money we paid

Julie_maison46, Directeur général at Maison 46, responded to this review
Dear Customer, Thank you for taking the time to write about us! I'm so sorry to read that you find some of our staff rude. I'm going to speak to them right away. Please be sure that serving you well is our top priority! Concerning your shower, we didn't know, you never came to inform us about the problem. If we had knew we would have sent you our technical team right away… Next time, please fill free to call us so we can't fix the problem right away. Finally, concerning the breakfast, I'm so sad that you never tasted it. If you had, you'll understand the price of it… You will have seen that it was more than a traditional hotel buffet: All our pastries are homemade, the buffet includes anystyle of eggs with bacon or sausages, fresh juices, plates of fresh fruits, plate of cheese, all sorts of cereals or yogurts and fresh bread. I know really well the bakery in front of the street, and I love it, but we are not providing the same type of breakfast. During your next stay I'll be pleased to make you discover it! Sincerely, Julie Hotel manager

"Great hotel"

User 30/12/2019

Loved the hotel, checkin and out was very easy. We arrived earlier, that was no problem. People were very helpfull. The rooms were clean. The lift is a bit small. It's nearby the eiffel tower (15 min walking).

"Great location, great hotel"

leithal87, Gladstone, Australia 13/10/2019

Two lovely girls greeted us when we first arrived and they checked us in very quickly which was greatly appreciated after a long travel day. The room was modern, neat and tidy and the bed super comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was extra hot and good pressure. The breakfast was delightful, nice selection and was a great start to the day. Would definitely stay here again.

"Truly a 5 star hotel disguised as a 3 star."

User 28/09/2019

Easily one of the best hotels in France. It might say three stars however the service is beyond 5 stars! From Julie to Joash to Noa to everyone there, they are incredible. We wrote ahead of time letting them know we'd be celebrating our 10 year anniversary. We offered to pay to upgrade our room to an Eiffel Tower view because we booked through Priceline. Not only did they give us a view of the Eiffel Tower, they gave us a suite at no additional charge. Depending on how often you travel you may have an image of a Best Western. Lose it when it comes to this location. You'll feel you're staying at the Ritz or Waldorf based on the way they cater to you. Also, Julie bakes daily and wow....beyond yummy. We have already recommended this to multiple friends and will plan to stay here early next year when we return with our children.

"Not a great experience."

BGrace30, Birmingham, United Kingdom 28/07/2019

Visited here on a business trip recently, reception staff seemed uninterested and told me I needed to pay for my room when it had in fact been paid for already. Lift is tiny and fits 3 people in at a push. Rooms visually are nice and modern but walls are so thin I barely slept from the noise of other rooms. Location is ok and there is a lovely patisserie across the street. Dinner is not available at the hotel.

User 21/07/2019

Just awful. No form of good service or welcoming. Front desk guy had attitude. Playing loud rap music upon check in. We had to ask what the area offered, if he has a map, where was the breakfast, etc. He could have cared less. The woman next to him was too busy to assist. Sorry but this is a trip of a lifetime for us. Elevator fits one person at a time. For a family of four it's annoying. The rooms were small and no good views. Area is sketchy! He told us a subway restaurant was nearby. Seriously? That's on every corner in the US. We checked out and we had prepaid. He made us pay the tax when we didn't even stay which was not right but I wasn't going to argue. We made up an excuse and got out of that district to a much better hotel with amazing service, food and decor. Horrible. Like a Red Roof Inn equivalent in the states. Never again.

"Don't try to stay at this hotel!"

kerrymann55, Parker, Colorado 19/07/2019

Worst experience checking in a hotel ever. We reserved many months in advance and confirmed it a couple weeks before arrival but we arrived the guy at front desk said that they could not fulfill the reservation. They had our reservation in their system but they simply refused to give us our rooms. Of course every hotel in Paris was booked that week and our $120/night reservation was now worth $500/night.... We had our whole family with 2 young kids sitting in their lobby for hours trying to get a room. Luckily we were able to get a hold of someone at Best Western corporate office and after a few hours BW corporate put us in another BW hotel for the price we had reserved. The Camebronne Best Western however was completely unconcerned that we had no place to stay even though they screwed up the reservation! The staff and owner's behavior was shameful.

"Newly Remodeled and Comfortable"

MottTheHoop, Edmond, Oklahoma 28/06/2019

My wife and I stayed in this newly remodeled hotel for 12 nights during our trip to Paris. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly -- which was wonderful during the current heat wave. The location was great for us because the hotel is located slightly outside the most popular touristy areas, but it is still close to three subway/train stations. It is easy to get all over Paris and the surrounding areas. The only drawback related to the young man who is at the front desk most evenings. He doesn't take customer service seriously. The other staff members at the hotel were a pleasure to work with, especially the young lady who works some evenings. All things considered, I would recommend this hotel.

User 23/06/2019

Had booked to stay there for a week. On arrival, walked into ‘reception' - exposed plaster on walls, no one there, wires hanging out of the walls. Totally thought I was in the wrong place. Eventually a guy comes down the stairs and tells me to come up to reception, which turned out to be a converted guest room on the first floor. No assistance offered to help me with my two suitcases and large musical instrument. Given room key, asked where the bar was - told no bar due to ongoing renovations. Asked for a bottle of water, advise no drinking water available. I stayed the one night only (as couldn't find another hotel to change to for that night) and left in the morning. Complained to manager and offered 10% off my next stay there - no chance of that happening!

User 17/06/2019

Avoid making reservations here! Made reservation 6 months in advance. Arrived in the middle of a major renovation. They refused to honor the reservation. Very aloof, did not want to deal with us. Had to find another hotel! Don't take a chance; don't book here!

"Excelent hotel"

seawall1028, Marion, North Carolina 29/03/2019

We first stayed in this hotel in 2013 as it is a Best Western and we are part of the rewards program. When we had the chance to return to Paris along with several other couples, we knew just where we wanted to stay. It is a small hotel with around 30+ rooms. The staff speaks english, and was very helpful. The hotel is currently undergoing some remodeling, and we were given one of the newly remodeled rooms which was very nice; the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Even with the remodeling in progress we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we have the good fortune to return to Paris.

m l, miami 19/03/2019

Located close to the Eiffel tower and subway station(Commerce). Nice strong shower and a comfortable bed. Lady managing the front desk in the morning is very nice. It is an old building with a small elevator and a very small room. Would only recommend for a couple not for a family. We had no 110 volt connection in our room but our friends did have in thier room. Breakfast is ok. Hotel is not worth the price, might find something better somewhere else.

"Nice for a quick stay"

B_Grdnr, Kansas City, Missouri 15/02/2019

We stayed here 3 nights over New Years. Hotel and rooms were clean, staff was really friendly and area was pretty quite. It was a nice affordable hotel for a quick couple of days, any longer than that I would have stayed somewhere else more central. WiFi was not very good, enough to search online but I had trouble uploading pictures or sending emails. I also feel like the hotel location was further from the Eiffel Tower than I thought it would be. I would say it's more like a 20 min walk

"Nice hotel in a quaint area"

G7799TVthomasc, Deer Park 17/10/2018

It is a nice hotel near the main attractions in Paris and within 10 minutes of the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast was very nice and well worth the visit and most of the time you ate dinner out an a restaurant

"Average at best"

sukh22, Farnham Common, United Kingdom 16/09/2018

The hotel room itself was clean as was the bathroom. WiFi was ok, if a little weak at times but not too bad. But for what we paid definitely not worth it. Not to mention my family and I all had the express breakfast ( 6 euros) where you can eat one crossiant, which we did. But when it was time to pay we were charged the normal breakfast price (13 euros) and were essentially accused by the lady at reception of eating more than we paid for and then lying about it. Besides the fact we didn't eat more than we paid for, it was really poor customer service and she even insisted on checking with another member of staff to verify our 'story'. Also you can't control the air con so it got too hot in our room and if you open the window its much too noisy as we had a street facing room. The other issue is that the walls must be super thin because we could hear pretty much every word of what the people in the neighbouring room were saying as well as small things like when they moved their suitcases etc. I would stay here again if the price matched the experience but I'm sure there are probably other places which are better value for money.

"Just OK"

User 27/08/2018

Stayed for four nights because we wanted something close to the Eiffel. Was actually a 22 minute walk to get to the base of the tower, so kinda far away. This hotel is in a really random location, like there is never anyone on the streets lol but it's still noisy at night (had a room facing the streets)! Could hear other hotel guests at night, for example I could hear someone throw up multiple times throughout the night. The luggage storage is kinda unsecured, basically behind a bar that people could access if they wanted to. Shower, bathroom, and room were all big and nice but the air conditioning was bad. Overall just ok I mean what can you expect with that good of a price? Also there's a subway, fresh bakery, and a publix (grocery store) all within 5 min.

"Not worth the money"

Passport-Kid, Toronto 24/08/2018

We stayed here in August 2018. The only bonus the hotel has is its close to the Eiffel tower (about a 15 minute walk). But it is a far walk from all other locations and not in a lively area. I have stayed across Europe and the rooms here were small, and the front desk service was horrible. We asked to use an iron and were informed we would need to come down to the lobby and use it. Im not stuck up and usually travel on a budget but this place is more like a hostel than a proper hotel. Paris was our last stop on a European tour of 10 citys and this was by far the worst place we stayed. Any time we would ask the front desk a question he would just stare at his computer pretending to do work. On one occasion we asked if he could print something for us and he had no idea how, like really? you don't know how to print from your computer? Its not far from the subway and we mostly used Uber (which is pretty affordable in Paris). I would never stay here again, but its upto the reader. Like I Said, its not far from the Eiffel tower so that is a bonus.

"Another excellent stay"

BaldersOxon, Oxon 23/08/2018

Our wedding anniversary and a milestone birthday brought us to Paris again, love this little hotel, king size bed, quiet room with air con (37 degrees outside) friendly staff, perfect location opposite a Peruvian restaurant and patisserie. Cambronne and Emile Zola metro stations are less than 10 minutes away and of course the Eiffel tower is a pleasant walk away. Highly recommend, we'll be back in 2020

"Excellent service"

Emma C, Montreal, Canada 15/08/2018

Lovely and courteous service from hotel staff. The room was a little small but overall a great location. 20 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. Also close to 3 different metro stations. It's certainly not an extravagant hotel but the price was very affordable so all things considered it was a good value.

"The Hotel was located in a Seedy location. Looks run down from the out side."

007chuck-k, Minneapolis, Minnesota 12/08/2018

The pictures of the lobby were taken years ago. The desk clerk spoke pretend that he did not understand us. There was no air conditioning. lobby are was dirty and cafe was dirty. He talk to guest that were check in. We did not stay there. This hotel was listed as a three star hotel. I would rate as half star.

"Close to the Eiffel Tower"

User 16/06/2018

We chose this hotel primarily because it was reasonably priced with good reviews and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel was easy to find. I had a single room with a juliet balcony overlooking the back cafe/garden. It was nice to open up in the morning. The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless, hot water was plentiful. Check-in was relatively quick but there was a little mix-up with my room and my friends' room. This was quickly sorted out. You could have a petit dejeuner for 6 euros at the hotel but there is a bakery a little way up the street with great pastries and sandwiches for breakfast. We loved being able to walk to the Eiffel Tower and we did that the first day right off the plane! One note, the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful on our last day when our flight was cancelled and we were a little flustered but we eventually re-booked a flight and headed out of Paris(apologies I cannot remembr his name but many thanks).. Keep in mind this is a budget hotel and you won't be disappointed. I would stay here again.

"Average hotel with some plusses and minuses"

PhillyDoc, Philadelphia 22/04/2018

I stayed here during a recent business trip to Paris for four nights. the room was quite small but was clean. the main problem was that the heat was on and the room was quite hot. when I mentioned this to the front desk staff, the response was "there is only one thermostat for the entire hotel and we had some cold days last week..). I had the impression that she was going to investigate whether they could turn off the heat but nothing happened. I ended up having to keep the window open in my room at night in order to have a reasonable temperature in the room. Unfortunately my room faced a busy and noisy street. I did not sleep very well during my stay. the breakfast was adequate and the staff quite attentive. the hotel rate did not include the breakfast however and it was not a particularly good value. I would not recommend this hotel for business travelers.

"Room changed due to group that came, ac not working"

whitley22018, Hilliard, Florida 07/04/2018

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in March 2018 this year. He had booked a room for a double bed facing the tower. When we checked into our room it was a very small room with twin beds on opposite end of where we had booked. We went and asked the receptionist if there was a mistake and we were told that a group of 15 had arrived and they had moved our room and could not make our bed a double due to all the rooms being full. No further accommodations were or useful information was given. I then asked if a room would be available the next day and she said no, but that they could make our bed into a double with a toper. That night we could not get our ac to work and the street noise was to loud to leave the window open and it was 87 degrees in the room all night. The next day my husband and I left early that morning and came back at 4PM, I asked the same receptionist if our bed had been made into a double but she advised that it had not and were we going out for dinner and it could be done then, we were exhausted and asked when was the earliest it could be done and she advised it could be done right then. We then waited for 40 minutes in the lobby for them to fix the bed. At no time were any apologies made about moving our room or the bed situation. She did pull our booking and said, "yes it does have you listed for a double, but we can not accommodate that now". I was very upset with the entire stay, the condition of the room and the service, not to mention when we did get the AC to work it was very loud and rattled badly.

"Great Hotel and staff."

pugsly84, London, United Kingdom 24/03/2018

We stayed here for England vs France for the rugby 6 nations. Overall the Hotel was great personally I would have rated the hotel as 4 stars but the service we got from the receptionist Noa was exceptional so just for that the hotel gets 5 stars from us. The hotel should be proud to have someone working for them who does everything they can for the gussets. Thanks for a great stay if we come to Paris again we will be coming back this hotel.

"you can safely book this hotel"

lester248, Truro, United Kingdom 13/03/2018

Very clean , warm and comfortable . Bathroom spotless . Excellent staff and short walk to metro of 150 meters. The rooms to be fair are smaller than perhaps you'd like as is the lounge but all in all a great hotel for the money ideal for a short trip to Paris .

"Noa Was Wonderful..........!!!!!!!!!!"

georgiegirl70, boston 24/02/2018

The Best Western Hotel was located a bit off of the beaten path but the price and especially the staff more than made up for a few extra steps each day. Upon our arrival and throughout our stay we were assisted by Noa.....a wonderful and intelligent young student from the local University. Her assistance and knowledge made our stay in central Paris a memorable experience. Noa gave us the necessary instructions as well as writing out translated notes to give to staff at the nearby subway and train stations. Without her assistance it would have been impossible to have visited Disneyland-Paris as well as a number of other sites and locations which we were able to see thanks to her.

"Great staff and location"

User 24/12/2017

was here for 4 nights back in late november. at check in there was a misunderstanding with my reservation because i booked a room for 3 people but on their system it was only for 2. fortunately we were able to get a cot for our 3rd person. the young lady who checked us in was awesome and very friendly! i forgot her name but she was very welcoming and helpful. the other young lady who worked the morning shifts was awesome too! all the staff that we encountered here spoke english very well. breakfast is 13 euros per person, a little too expensive but hey its paris lol. 15 minute walk to the eiffel tower and several restaurants nearby as well. this hotel will be my first choice when i return to paris. Awesome hotel, merci beacouop!

"Amazing stay, amazing hotel, amazing staff, amazing location..."

User 13/12/2017

I stayed at the hotel for 6 days. From the arrival to the moment i left the hotel, everything was perfect. The staff (specially Anatasia) are amazing. The hotel is small, but very comfy and clean. It is close to a great amount of rotisseries, bakeries, restaurants. Also close to three metro stations. 15 minutes walking distance from the Eiffel Tower. I really recommend this hotel for everyone.

Dear Carol, Thank you very much for your kind comment. The whole team is very happy and feel that you have shared your experience with us, we hope to see you again soon. Kind regards Natalie

User 30/11/2017

This hotel has bed bugs. We had to check out and switch to a different hotel after 2 nights. Filed a report with Best Western Corporate and still have not heard back. Disgusting, do not stay here!!!!!!!!

"Youth Hostel"

User 30/11/2017

Very disappointing. Felt like I was in a Youth Hostel. Tiny room and tiny elevator and terrible air conditioning/heating system. Only saving grace was the two gals at front desk who were terrific. But overall, how in the world does Best Western accept this place as a franchisee?

"Memorable Stay"

User 27/11/2017

We wanted a mid-priced hotel in a convenient, safe, neighborhood location, and that's just what we got. Hotel is a quick 5 minute walk to the Metro. There are two wonderful bakeries within 2 blocks, that are second to none. The pastries are excellent. Plus, salads, sandwiches, and to-go fare. Many cafes and bistros and lots of activity, surround the Metro stop. Staff always greeted us with friendly bonjour and were always available to provide directions and suggestions. Room was clean and quiet with a comfy bed. Though room was compact, we've had smaller in NY. Bathroom was clean with a nice tub. Elevator was teeny, but we never waited long, if at all. If you're looking for a busy tourist area with trendy shops in the center of Paris, this isn't it. It's a cozy, bargain hotel within a short walking distance of all the action. We'd leave in the morning, stop for a cafe and pastry, then hop on the Metro, site seeing all day and into the evening, then return to our cozy hotel, ending with a friendly bon nuit from the night staff.

"Absolutely THE BEST - Best Western Hotel!"

User 16/11/2017

We were forced, by lack of handicap accessibility, to relocate upon our arrival in Paris late last night. Luckily the clerk at that hotel called this Best Western Hotel, and we got settled in about 11pm. Our contact with the desk clerk here was simply FANTASTIC from the first moment, NOA, a very professional, compassionate, cheerful - just plain DELIGHTFUL - young lady, set us at ease & assisted us in many ways. Today we had a very good, reasonably priced breakfast and met the Hotel Manager. He continued the EXCELLENT experience here and made it easier to deal with my mobility within the hotel the next 2 days. ACCESSIBLE hotels (& streets even) are difficult to find each place we have been on this 42 day trip - this hotel has met my needs & made our trip to Paris all we hoped it would be. I would recommend this property to everyone Thank You so very much.

"Memorable Stay"

User 22/10/2017

Returned one week ago from a wonderful trip to Paris! Hotel BW was part of an air/hotel package from Delta. Though not a 5-star hotel on a sophisticated street, I'm rating the property as excellent, since we got just want we needed. A safe, convenient location, at just a 5 minute walk to the Metro. Two wonderful bakeries within 2 blocks. Great cafes and bistros close by. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room clean and quiet, with comfy bed. We've had smaller rooms in NY. And, so the elevator was small, we never waited long. The price was right and we didn't expect the Ritz. We were happy coming back to our cozy hotel, being greeted by the staff with a warm "bon nuit", following a full day/evening of site seeing.

"Best western Eiffel"

User 02/08/2017

This is a basic hotel. The lift is large enough for two people or one person with a suitcase. The staff was friendly and accommodating. One day the air conditioning wouldn't come on, took several tries at the front desk to get it going. One day there was no hot water and the phone was out most of our stay. The room was comfortable otherwise. Breakfast was available, we did not eat there. The only English speaking tv stations were news channels. English subtitles were not available. The free wifi worked well. Drinks were available from a small bar in the lobby. The hotel was about a twenty minute walk from hop-on-hop-off busses and 10 minutes from the metro.

"Couldn't ask for anymore! "

gp1994, Glasgow, United Kingdom 24/07/2017

I stayed here for 3 nights when visiting the city for Lollapalooza and the Tour de France. I couldn't have asked for a better stay and accommodation. Well priced, location was perfect as it was just outside the centre but only about a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel tower. Staff all spoke great English and were very pleasant whenever I had an encounter with them. The room was well sized, the size I'd have expected for a double room, the lift was small but it all added to the "traditional" effect which I think added something different to the stay. I would highly recommend staying here, I know I will certainly be back next year!

"Traveling with Teens"

User 09/07/2017

Decent hotel, not too impressive. We had a cot for our third person. The room was TINY!! It did have a safe and a "coffee maker." Maid service was a bit lacking. Coffee and sugar was not refilled each day. Dirty cups were not removed or replaced. However, by the last day, we were given washcloths which are not common in hotels across Europe. About a 10 minute walk from the closest metro. About 20 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. Streets are filthy, but that's just Paris.

"My stay at the BW Hotel Eiffel Cambronne"

os2warp, Los Angeles, California 05/07/2017

Although listed as a 3 stars hotel, it's far from it. Pictures of the location can be deceiving in true reality. Yes, cleaned & functional though rooms are quite small. We've cut our stay by 1 night, was told that it can be refunded at the end of our stay, though that individual was not around on our checkout date. The representatives pretended not to understand, brushed us off without even an invoice or statement of stay. Though we did booked this via Delta Vacations. BW deferred us to Delta Vacations and vice versa. Geez whiz.

"Great location "

j-bic80, Paignton, United Kingdom 04/07/2017

I love the cambronne area and this hotel is ideally located to take advantage of the nearby metro pubs restaurants and bakeries etc. The hotel itself is quaint and great as a crash pad. Rooms are well equipped having a hair dryer, safe, kettle and heating or air con. There is also a small breakfast area, bar and lounge. I did not eat in the hotel but there are plenty of places nearby to enjoy and soak up the atmosphere. A very enjoyable stay.

"walking distance from eiffel"

User 03/07/2017

The hotel close to metro station, Eiffel tower and few restaurants. The the elevator is tiny, the room is small and you can choose room with balcony or room with bathtub. i check both, and in my opinion room with balcony much better, you can have a fresh air.

"Average stay "

qeelz, Brunei 28/05/2017

8mins walk from the nearest station, this hotel is 15mins walking distance to Eiffel Towel. The elevator of this hotel is very small . The staffs are friendly and welcoming. Room is not bad . That pretty much it.

"A great, low cost, no frills place to stay in Paris"

User 04/05/2017

The good: Great location near the Eiffle tower and only two blocks from the Metro. Very easy to get around Paris from here. In a quite neighborhood with a few local shops and restaurants. Seemed like a safe area. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean with nice shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The not so good: Rooms are small, but not unusual for Europe. The elevator is tiny and slow, but better than stairs. The breakfast is expensive and not included in the price of the room. Bottom Line: I would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I am in Paris.

"Lovely Location"

This property was in a lovely neighborhood close to everything! Upon our arrival, we were given the surprised of an upgraded room facing the Eiffel Tower! Sophie, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful; she recommended to us a wonderful restaurant 4 minutes away from our hotel with delicious food at an affordable price. We truly enjoyed our stay at this small, but GREAT property with attention to detail and wonderful customer service. Thank you Sophie for all of your help and the staff at the Cambronne. =)

"Home from home, but with a view of the Eiffel Tower"

flobrady, Llanfairfechan, Wales, United Kingdom 25/04/2017

I knew this hotel would be nice as they emailed me before we left home to tell me everything was ready for us. We arrived in the evening, tired, and were greeted by a pleasant receptionist who assured us that he would be available through the night should we need anything. Our room was quite small, as most rooms in Paris tend to be. It was on the 5th floor, but the lift arrived promptly every time we pressed the button. The beds, carpet, curtains and bathroom were all sparkling clean and we were provided with an electric kettle and two cups, something we find essential. We slept well because the hotel is quiet and in the morning we descended to be greeted by another lovely receptionist, who over the next few days became more of a friend. Anastasia is the name of this lovely woman who took a motherly interest in her two elderly guests, urging us to wrap up warm, providing us with coffee and never insulting us by speaking to us in English, which she could speak fluently. Instead, she waited patiently for our replies, rephrasing her remarks and questions until we understood. I'll never forget her kindness. If you book at this hotel, don't be put off by the appearance from the outside. It's on a slightly run-down street and looks uninspiring, but it's lovely inside. And there's a metro at the end of the street and the Eiffel Tower within easy walking distance.

"An average hotel"

Richard A, Poole, United Kingdom 08/04/2017

Stayed here for 3 nights. Check in was polite and quick. Glass of orange juice on arrival was nice. We had a first floor room at the front. The street noise is bearable with the window closed. Air con units in room could do with an upgrade. Our bathroom had bath and shower. Was very clean and of good spec. The only slight issue was the toilet was positioned between bath and wall in a very narrow space. We just about coped, but a larger person would really struggle. The room itself was decent and clean and the bed was comfy. The walls and ceilings are thin and you can hear people above showering and walking around, although it didn't happen late at night. The light of the hotel sign was right outside our window and it does make the room not as dark as some might like but it didn't bother us. The location is very good. Mini supermarket just around the corner. Metro station 5 minute walk. Eiffel tower gardens 15 minute walk. We didn't pay for breakfast as thought it was a bit pricey. There is a boulangerie across the road that is lovely. Fresh, delicious pastries, tea and coffee. Very reasonably priced and you can sit in. Overall for the price this hotel should suit your requirements. We were hardly there as we were exploring everything Paris has to offer. It's such a beautiful city. If your looking for a base camp then this hotel will be good.

"Wonderful place and location"

User 03/04/2017

I stayed here for 4 nights, wonderful experience perfect location 4 mins to metro station, 18 mins walk to Eiffel tower where you walk next to lovely restaurants and caffees (no need to worry about going to anywhere as transportation is simple and easy by the help of google maps). Staff were more than perfect at welcoming us and i sent a message before i arrive stating that this is our honeymoon and they immediatly upgraded our room to suite with Eiffel tower view (side view). Prices are reasonable for the given service. Did not try breakfast. Overall i loved my experience here and for sure it will not be my last time staying at this hotel. Here is some real pics

""Awful" Cambronne "

Kentgirl123, Kent 22/03/2017

Stayed here for 3 nights (currently still here actually) and we wish we didn't. We had read reviews before and knew it wasn't going to be free at, but we thought it says it has a good location and we wouldn't be spending much time in the hotel. We booked through Expedia and paid for breakfast. When we first got there, lady was pleasant, we were on the 6th floor and the lift is so small we couldn't actually fit us 2 people and a bag each. We ended up just walking up instead. The room is small with a small balcony with fake grass. Room was okay until we laid on the bed, two singles pushed together with one double sheet, even though we asked for a double. No main light, just two lamps, so at night and in the morning, it's very dark. The shower was quite good however. The toilet was in a corner, barely any room to move, and right next to a radiator which had been put on full heat, so when sitting, I burnt my arm on it. Breakfast....we knew it was just continental and the first day we went down, we thought it wasn't too bad. (Apart from the one lady who just stares at you and hovers waiting for you to finish so she can clear away). There were croissants, bread, cereals, egg and sausages, yoghurts, fruit and cakes. Then we went down a second day, it was the same loaf of bread and loaf of cake as the day before, so it was stale. The third day, there were no sausages, none of the cereal that my boyfriend had been eating (he's obviously just eaten the last box the day before and they did not replenish), no loaf of bread, and no apple juice. Oh also no plates or cutlery on any of the tables. I had to ask, and then she bought over ONE plate which was dirty, and the other plate and cutlery about 5 minutes later. I ended up eating a croissant on a napkin. Fairly decent Location, about a 15-20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and Uber's are always around so we used those quite a lot. They obviously don't have people stay for multiple nights very often as when we checked in and said three nights, the lady looked very happy and shocked at the same time (now we know why!). I wouldn't recommend this hotel, even for the location, and I definitely will not be going 'budget' in the future regardless of how much (or little) time I think we'll spend in the hotel!

I choose this hotel cause I of lovely looking photos and the close location to Unesco. Cosy and peaceful hotel. Just what I need after long hours. Rooms are fresh and I just love to have watercooker on my room to make bedtime time. Management and service generally is very kind, professional and welcoming. Next time in Paris. Definately this hotel.

"They should strip a star from this hotel"

User 15/03/2017

Bad experience, since the get go, rude personnel, old and incredibly small lift, the room was small and moldy, paper thin walls, I could hear snoring of the contiguous room, not to mention that the neon sign was just outside the window. I tried to turn the AC on and a really bad smell filled the room, and it didn't even cooled the room, had to keep a window open which was an annoyance due to the sign just outside, street noise and didn't feel safe. Commodities are non-existent and very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Wouldn't stay here again. The only silver lining is that is close to the Eiffel Tower and attractions. They should strip at least 1 star from this hotel!

"Amazing view from the 7th floor"

happyexplorer519, Canberra, Australia 12/10/2016

We booked 4 nights here and they have great reception staff who are friendly, polite, informative, considerate and very welcoming. We came a a group of 3 friends and have found Paris extremely welcoming, friendly and a wonderful place to visit. The views from the 6th floor stairwell window is fantastic of the Eiffel Tower espically at night when it sparkles on the hour. It can be a great walk to the Eiffel Tower it can take about 20 mins to half hour or even more depending on how many great shops you stop at along the way.The cafes and paritisaries are endless and the staff are so friendly. The internet has been great to be able to keep in touch with family back home especially to be able to use it in your room so you don't have to go to the reception area. The Metro is close and you have a choice of 2. There are alot of Pharmacies so if you need anything there are many to choose from.

"Never again!"

User 08/09/2016

Had some problems with check in. Took an abnormally long time for her to locate our reservation information (it's a small hotel!) After finding it, she tried to give us a double room and told us check in was 1 PM. However, the print out from our booking (made directly with Best Western, not a third party) stated check in was 12 noon and were booked for a room with 2 single beds. Thankfully I had thought to print it and bring it. After I pointed this out, the receptionist tried to make me feel bad about asking for the room I had booked. Eventually I got it, but I really didn't appreciate her trying to make me feel guilty when it wasn't my mistake. I don't know if it was just the location of our room, but it was incredibly noisy! Doors slamming all hours of the day and night. Made it very difficult to get any sleep. The AC unit was barely functional. In 37 C degree heat, this is a huge factor. I had heat exhaustion the first day I was in Paris, and was unable to cool down with the lackluster AC unit. I kept tripping over the box spring of one of the single beds because it was sticking out further than the other, and I wasn't able to shift it. A digit of the wifi password given by front desk was illegible. I eventually figured it out through trial and error - thankfully it was a number. Because of the receptionists attitude during check in, I didn't feel comfortable asking for help. Same receptionist checked us out the next day. She was still quite rude to us. I don't know if that's just her personality, or she was still angry but it was not professional at all. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. I expected far better for a Best Western hotel.

"Ok hotel"

judith G, Hallandale Beach, Florida 07/09/2016

The hotel is ok if you are planning of going out and not staying in the room, because it is very small even the elevator can barely fit 3 people, but very convenient when it comes to transportation to visit monuments. Do not use uber around the area because they'll over charge you. Little market for snack I suggest Carrefour express. And if you request airport shuttle "only drop off" no pick up be ready to pay 36 euro cash and have your terminal number ready and leave 3 hrs in advance because you'll not be the only one riding the shuttle he'll have other pick up which they'll take their sweet time and "bonjour" for the traffic!!! Otherwise staff of the hotel are really welcoming except for one guy and the breakfast was ok (because they are not organize). Will I come back to this hotel for the price I paid? (Which was over $100) Nope because it was not worth it...

"Great Area, Sketchy Hotel"

Justin C, Fernandina Beach, Florida 05/09/2016

We unfortunately booked 3 nights here. The location was perfect! Outside of location... Issues. For starters the "free" wi-Fi, was not operational. The first night we were told breakfast was included. (It wasn't) @16e per person... Expect horrid coffee, stale croissant, and no service. The elevator up (all rooms are up) only allows for 1 guest at a time. The receptionists greetings varied, some good some bad. Upon leaving we were told we had breakfast 2 days... We had not. Once that dispute was resolved they informed me I in fact was charged at 16euro per person for the putrid excuse for breakfast. We paid, and left. Will not be staying here again. My advice, pay up!

jamesdelaney1, London, United Kingdom 01/09/2016

Despite the extreme heat - 38c, in Paris on this day in late Aug, the air-conditioning was up to the job & we had a comfortable night's sleep. The lobby area was pleasantly furnished & there was a breakfast room behind, although we didn't use it, preferring instead to sit outdoors at one of the large brasseries in nearby Place Cambronne. The metro station, Cambronne, is right there.

jbanerjee07, New Delhi, India 23/08/2016

The hotel is a budget hotel with small rooms and basic amenities.however it is clean and comfortable.the best part of the hotel is its location, if you want to explore Paris like a local, one must stay in the city center. The Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower are all within walking distance from the hotel. City center has cafes all around but In Cambronne one can find cafes serving different cuisines.

paulie642015, Leopold, Australia 20/08/2016

The location for this hotel was very good for the Eiffel Tower. It was only a 10 or 15 min walk to the Tower but is a bit out of the way from all the other attractions, however, Cambronne metro station is ony a 5 min walk from the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our shower sprung a leak on the second day here and after notifying the front desk on the way out for the day, it was fixed by the time we got back. The room itself is quite small but that is the norm for Paris, but it was comfortable for what it was. But this is Paris and you don't spend your time in the hotel when in Paris so for us it was the perfect place to lay our weary heads at night.

User 24/07/2016

Great hotel friendly staff.Polite and hospitable.Air conditioned rooms really appreciated. Good access to Metro just 2 minute walk to Cambronne. Heaps of options for eating in or out. Continental breakfast in hotel 13 euro or express 6 euro. Good access to Eiffel tower by metro or walking if you have time/ energy. Little complication with room on arrival ( terrible odour) but they moved us quickly. Local shops open long hours , groceries round corner open 24 hr. Fruit shop and patisserie just across road.

"Wonderful little gem"

slartybartfast_1, Cradley Heath West Midlands 23/07/2016

Had a romantic weekend for our Silver Anniversary here. Lovely little hotel which has everything you need. Very inexpensive which only cost us £170 for 2 nights during the euro football competition. The hotel is literally a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower or a couple of stops on the metro. Looking to book again for December to see the Christmas lights and so forth. Very clean and tidy and the staff were very very friendly. The rooms are not huge but just right for what we needed and it was also nice to be able to open the windows fully as it was quite warm and the Paris breeze was wonderful.

"Mid-level accomodations in Paris"

Marikay C, Hartland, Michigan 13/07/2016

Easter week, 2016. We had 2 rooms, one of which was the top floor (we think it was a remodeled apartment as the toilet, bathtub and shower were all in different rooms). The top floor suite includes a dining table and sitting room with nice rooftop views. Could see Eiffel Tower from staircase window between floors. Drawbacks - about 4 block walk to the Metro, then many stairs in station. After a full day of sight-seeing this was too far to have to walk back. Night staff did not speak English well and seemed a little impatient with my limited French. Pluses - day staff terrific! Great restaurants in neighborhood including two wonderful bakeries right across the street. Once we decided to take taxis instead of the Metro, the location was fine. It was less than 20 Euro to get anywhere in the city from this location.

"Price or Place?"

Tacmyster, Los Angeles 08/07/2016

My friends were recommended this hotel because it is economy priced and was told centrally located (about a 20 min walk from the Eiffel Tower). The room was clean nothing fancy, the double bed was comfy, the body wash was not a cheapy diluted one. They did have face towels with the bath sized towels. They didn't have an ice machine which appears not to be popular at this & the other budget place I stayed in Europe. I constantly asked for ice at the front desk daily which one of the clerks appeared to get disturbed in getting & would put in a small cereal bowl. The elevator was so tiny 3 medium build persons with luggage could barely fit. The surrounding area (the street the hotel was on) was sort of drabby looking. The major problem the room door did not scan my key card several times when I returned I had to go up & down from the room to the front desk to address it which was aggravating. It got to the point they had to take a tool to the door & drill something. My phone didn't work over there & when I asked the front desk if they could make a local call for me the clerk showed resistance.

"They screwed up big time"

John P, Scappoose, Oregon 05/07/2016

We were looking forward to our stay here but were disappointed to find out they had overbooked the hotel. After a long flight from Portland to Amsterdam, then on to Paris, we were very tired and eagerly ready for a shower and some rest. When we got here, we were told that someone had messed up our reservation and would we mind staying at a hotel around the corner. It was about 3 pm so we didn't have much choice and said ok. The other place was pretty trashy and the room was kind of smelly but we had to go with it. If the original hotel would have notified us earlier perhaps we could have done something about it. We were very disappointed in the Best Western.

"Good base to explore Paris for the price"

Paul M, Lisburn, United Kingdom 05/07/2016

We stayed here in February 2016 travelling as a couple. Travelling on a budget Hotel Eiffel was the cheapest hotel not too far out of the way and for the money was a great find. After getting dropped off at Porte Maillot from the airport the hotel is about a 30 minute walk. When visiting a city I rarely use public transport as I get to see more of the city by walking. It is about 25 minutes to the Eiffel Tower which at night was a pleasant walk. About 20 minutes to the War Museum, about a 50 minute walk to the Louvre, 30 minute walk to the arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. For the people who don't like walking there is a Metro station very close to the hotel so you're never too far away from wherever you want to be! For the hotel itself it is down a quiet side street off the beaten track but easy enough to find. The staff are friendly and polite although when I was checking in they couldn't find my booking even though I produced a print out of it. In the end they gave me us room for our two night stay. The room is very basic but clean and with a TV and decent shower. But again, just what we needed. There is a small bar and eating area in the hotel which we didn't use. The only issue I had was about 1am somewhere unlocked the door and came into our room, after jumping out of bed to confront them a poor man had been given our room which was obviously due to my check in confusion earlier that day :-) All in all a great trip and good hotel and I would stay here again to enjoy the delights of Paris.

"Nice little hotel, located near a metro station"

Fibula77, Stavanger, Norway 17/06/2016

This small hotel was clean, cozy and especially central to the subway. We spent about 3-4 minutes to walk to the Metro, and with the great system they have in Paris we came us everywhere with this as a starting point. The hotel staff was very helpful and speaks good English, which is a big plus when the French vocabulary extends to good day and good evening. Aircondition worked well and cooled down the room for comfortable sleeping temperature. We did not try the breakfast at the hotel because we were eager to try out French specialties out in the city. But from what we could see there was a little cozy back garden which was the breakfast room, and I guess the food tastes delicious. The elevator in the hotel is very small, barely room for two people and a suitcase, but with only 4-5 storeys it meant not for us. Do not know if it is a typical hotel for families with children and prams, but for us as a couple, this was top notch :)

"A comfy stay in a cold paris"

saviona, Bangalore 28/05/2016

Stayed here for 03 nights with my 5 year old daughter. Great location and good hotel. Nice comfy and cosy rooms with the warmth that was much needed to save us from the paris cold !!! Helpful staff and perfect location with eiffel tower 1.5 kilometer and metro station 400 metres away. Overall a happy stay.

"Small rooms with no air conditioning"

Ethan R, New Orleans, Louisiana 17/05/2016

The hotel is not really in an interesting part of Paris for sightseeing, but is only a five-minute walk from the Cambronne metro station. The rooms are small, which was fine as we weren't spending much time in the room anyway. However, the air conditioner in the room would turn off randomly and didn't seem to be blowing cold air anyway. There was a radiator in the bathroom that couldn't be turned off and made the entire room hot, and opening the window hardly helped. Breakfast at the hotel was an outrageous price (13 euros per person I think) but there was a good spot nearby down the street.

"Family Vacation"

Sherry A, Bargersville 21/04/2016

Nice hotel. Only one person at a time on the elevator. Winding staircase, too cumbersome to lug luggage up. Get street view room - nicer. I have inside room and not a good view with a noisy A/C by my room. Rooms were clean and overall would stay here again. Close to subway, restaurants and only 15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower.

"New year 2016! :)"

nobtravels, Metro Manila, Philippines 17/02/2016

The hotel was okay for the price. Paris is a very expensive city and I think we got a good rate via Location: Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and train stations. Some restaurants nearby. Rooms: Clean rooms. Good bed. Not so large rooms which is the usual in Europe. Bathroom was clean. We got a room facing the street so you can hear vehicles outside but it didn't bother us so much. I guess we were so tired walking the whole day. Staff: Was okay but not so friendly. I would like to think they can't speak English well. One night we asked for ice and this guy on the reception was making faces at us. So that's why I gave only an average rating. Also they only have a small lift that can only fit 3 people and 1 suitcase. But not a big deal.

"Good location, mostly good accomodations"

admbentley, Iowa City, Iowa 04/02/2016

The hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately, the busy street outside is very loud and temperature control was difficult in the room. The piping in the bathroom (unable to be regulated) was exceptionally hot--we kept the bathroom door closed to help keep the temperature down. The AC was inoperable and we couldn't open the window due to the noise. It was a good value hotel but sleeping was sometimes difficult.

zepedro99, Netherlands 04/02/2016

No other customers at the reception and I got an very warm welcome from the lady at the reception with a little bit of a chat about Paris, hotels and breakfast. The room is small but a step up from the usual Ibis micro-rooms and it still very close to my place of business - a definite plus, and I got a room with a balcony - another plus. The price, for Paris also extremely good. The breakfast is in a relatively small room but with lots of light. The choice is limited but good. I will return

"Nice hotel near Eiffel Tower"

Den L, Palm Springs 02/11/2015

The rooms are small but just enough to give you a comfortable stay in the beautiful Paris. It's about 20 minutes walk to Eiffel tower. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. Their elevator is small and accommodates only two person at a time and so you need to take the stairs. The Wi-Fi is working good. We needed an air con during our stay but it wont give enough cool temperature so we ended up just leaving the windows open to let the cool early autumn breeze to our room. They have the basic amenities including a safe. For a traveler who just want to a room for the night and explore Paris during the day this hotel is just right. There are also good restaurants in the area, some of them are even award winning from Trip Advisor. Hopefully after good reviews about their hotel they will not increase their rate just like the other hotels who after getting good reviews from their guests increases their rate.

"Good location if you get a good rate"

George P, London, United Kingdom 01/11/2015

The room was adequate, but it was facing the main road (rue de la Croix Nivert) at the front. Ask for a room away from the road if you don't like noise. Another bad point was that someone had been smoking in that room earlier, so the smell was bad. The lift is not easy to get at busy times, so will advise to get a lower floor so you can use the stairs. Breakfast was adequate, although far from very good. Not good if you like a full english, OK for continental (but it is in France, so no complaints!). The internet was a bit poor at times, but always worked.

Room was lovely , bed was extremely comfortable & had a great nights sleep after all the walking around Paris ! Good selection of nice places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk of the Hotel . Staff were very friendly and very helpful .

Had a great experience here the last week! Reading other reviews, let me point out a few things first. This is PARIS. If you want sprawling spacious rooms, be prepared to spend A LOT of money. If you want to travel and use your room as a place to sleep/relax, this is a great fit. There was Coffee/Tea makers in the room despite what one reviewer stated. Maybe his was broken. Either way, again, you're in PARIS. Get out and grab an espresso or coffee from one of the multiple restaurants/cafe's in the neighborhood, whyyyy have room coffee?? The bathroom and showers were a perfect fit...if you were into showering with multiple people I can see how its not your thing, but thats none of my business. A/C...well we were there in perfect weather and slept with the windows open so I dont really have an opinion on that. Also, if you ask really nicely try to get a room on the 6th floor. We had a full size walk out balcony (WOW) with views down Croix Nivert all the wall to Invalides. The lift is in fact small, but once again, this isnt the Ritz. Accept the fact that this place is a small boutique hotel in the 15th, far from the glitz and glamor of Champs Elysees. Use the room to sleep and rest up, you are in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, so get out and enjoy Paris! The employees were so wonderful. The Madame in the mornings, the Afternoon and the late night gentlemen were helpful and very kind. They answered all the questions we had and every morning we were greeted with a sincere and warm Bonjour. If you don't have travel arrangements back to CDG at the end of your stay, ask them to book you the "start" shuttle. The driver was early, polite, and accomodating. Last but not least, the boulangerie across the street...Moulin Croix Nivert. Oh. My. God. Eat everything.

"Good location, small room"

Loulabelle44, High Wycombe, United Kingdom 12/09/2015

We stayed at this Best Western for three nights while attending an England rugby match at the Stade de France. The hotel is located in Cambronne, a short walk from the metro station. It is about 20 minutes' walk from the Eiffel Tower. It was a good location for exploring the city, as everything is easy to access by metro. The night bus also stops near Cambronne station, meaning you could stay out late and not need a taxi. The hotel is quite old, and could do with some modernisation. There was a small lift, which could only really fit a couple of people and was a struggle with luggage. Our room was small, and faced the main road. The bathroom was an OK size, although the shower cubicle was small. The room had air conditioning, which we needed to have on during the Paris heatwave, but it was very noisy, so sleeping was a trade-off between comfort and noise. The breakfast was included in our room rate, and was quite nice. Usual continental items, plus warm scrabbled egg and sausages. If you want a modern hotel with lots of space, this won't suit. But if you want something inexpensive in a reasonable neighbourhood, this Best Western is fine.

"Good Location"

Good location - 10 mins walk to the Eiffel Tower. Rooms are a bit dated and could do with a lick of paint and a carpet clean. The bathroom was a little grubby in places. Shower was fab. The mattress in room 604 needs replacing and there were no Coffee/Tea making facilities. Drop baggage off at hotel before taking car to the car park as is hard work with bags

"Good Location & money but not the room size"

Anuj J, New Delhi, India 20/08/2015

Though the room size of Hotels in Europe are small, this one was the smallest of our entire trip. The services were wonderful, staff was good, We even could see Eiffel from our room on 3rd Floor. Reach of the hotel is very good you can walk to Eiffel in 10 min, metro station is 4min distance , right opposite to the hotel is a wonderful bakery for breakfast and it opens at 6 am so for early starters its a good option. They even have local cafe's on the main street in case you want something solid. Overall only the size of the room was a concern rest all amazing.

Nice hotel, room was small but clean and tidy. Lift to the room is very small especially when trying to fit in suitcases!! All the staff we spoke to were helpful. Excellent location, approx 5 minute walk to metro station. There are a couple of nice restaurants near by and a lovely bakery across the road from hotel.

"Safe average hotel in Paris "

Tiffanyf1994, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 14/07/2015

Average hotel close to the metro. In a safe area with a Great bakery across the road. The nice young man who checked us in was lovely but older man working the night shift was so rude! The reception closes over night and we had to deal with waking him up with the door bell every single time we came back to the room. Not fun. If staying in Paris again I would prefer staying somewhere more central and accessible by foot as well as somewhere luxurious but I recommend this hotel if you're just looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to a metro station.

I had an excellent stay in a wonderful Best Western Hotel, so very near to everywhere that I needed to visit - the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero. The staff were so very friendly, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

"Not paradise"

Eugene E, Paris, France 11/11/2014

The hotel is situated within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and local cafe's, trains, restaurants and bars all in walking distance. Very accessible to everywhere. The hotel itself was not very pleasant. The room was very noisy even with the window closed, then the temperature on the air conditioning could not be changed. Room was very warm and stuffy, opening the window introduced street noise of traffic and people making it difficult to sleep no matter what. The TV only had 1 English station and the rest were all French, which wasn't very good and made using the hotel room as a rest spot during the day impossible. The room was very small and only enough closet space for 1 person. There was no iron, no ironing board in the room. There was a hairdryer but it wasn't a good hairdryer. The shower was good, and the bathroom a good size. However, it was a sliding door that was only attached at the top of the frame, meaning that the bottom of the door flapped while using the shower. There was no lock on the bathroom door. The room was small meaning you could not walk by each other in the room. If sleep is NOT important to you then this hotel is for you. On checking out the receptionist appeared uninterested in us departing, simple requests like checking if the shuttle bus was arriving on time, or to store our bags until the bus arrived appeared to be a daunting challenge for the young man.

"Outstanding Employees"

kate a, Falmouth, Massachusetts 20/09/2014

This hotel is clean, comfortable, and convenient to the Metro. Our room had a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower. However, the employees are what make this hotel exemplar. Their knowledge of the city, English language, and all things Paris ensured that our stay was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel!

"Best Western Cambronne Eiffel"

Carol C, Dallas, United States 21/07/2014

Excellent facility; close to metro; walking distance to several museums. Great staff. Good places to eat nearby. Clean but bed was somewhat uncomfortable. Little noise. Friendly and helpful staff. We would stay here again if returning to Paris. Nearest metro is out of order so some walking was required to get to another metro in the area.
