« Very good hotel, professional staff and good location »

Very good hotel, professional staff and good locationIt is a great 4 stars hotel but, but not 5 stars as they are marketing it. No proper restaurant that operate until late evening, rooms are not big, but very good 4 stars level. A guy name Yaw in the reception, very professional, very good. The bar did not have many of the items on the menu... Overall, a very god 4 stars hotel.

    « Paris Buss Trip »

    1. Great hotel with quiet rooms even with a noisy street background. 2. Fantastic breakfast. Best I have had in ages. Quality and selection is a lovely surprise. 3. Staff incredibly polite and competent. Only negative and its a small one was the absence of a more conventional bar setting to unwind after a day at the office. Drinks are available but its more after an afterthought bar.

« Relaxed and comfortable stay »

Although the rooms are slighly on the small side, I can most thoroughly recommend this hotel for its location, service, cleanlines and excellent breakfast. The staff are helpful and nearby are many fine places to eat.

« Clean, Central hotel & Excellent customer service »

We first arrived and were checked in fast which is great. We were travelling with our 4 month old baby and were taken to our room, unfortunately the size of the bedrooms are pretty small - I know it is in France..and renowned for "small" but for a 5* hotel you would expect a room twice the size at a minimum. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was more like a 5* room which was much better and the staff were very nice about it. I think like the prior review this doesn't cut the 5* rating I'm afraid, don't get me wrong the place is very clean etc but its missing some crucial elements this includes room service (there was no menu for food to order which I found perplexing..), in the reception there was a corner in which there was a few bottles of spirits on a shelf with a few stools out (this was the bar..) In comparison to 5* hotels in the UK at most this hotel would maybe reach 4* . The staff were great and very helpful I would give them 5* ! But the hotel itself is stretching the 4* mark at best. I would feel hard done by if I'd had booked and had my initial room paying what we paid. And that's not what you would want to feel like whilst there. I think the hotel maybe need to acknowledge this and reflect this in their pricing. Location is great.

    « Not a 5 star hotel »

Good new clean hotel. But not a five star property. Tiny rooms, cheap deco and furnishings. Beds and pillows are not what one expects at a five star hotel. Lift wouldn't stop at our floor. Service at check out extremely slow. Location is OK though. Breakfast good but again not at the five star level.

    « Great Stay »

service was excellent. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I let them know I was celebrating a milestone birthday and they provided a number of treats. I don't know what I could suggest to improve the stay.

« Euro hotel star rating is inflated than in USA. »

The rain shower is much better than most other rain shower in that it is easy to operate. Push the button to turn on and off the water and the amount of water gushing out from the nozzles gave a refreshing wash. Perhaps it is the European standard and rated this hotel as 5 star. In USA it would be at best a 4 star hotel. It is clean and maintain (I called dit) a minimalist style. The priceline (Tripadvisor link) I booked thru gave me $145 per night before taxes for weekday. However, other travel sites listed on Tripadvisor were much higher priced ( $170; $161; $161). I was assigned room 101 (Superior room) that overlook the inner entrance. The TV remote control was acting strange that after the first few channels (showing TV picture and sound) then it shown channel above number 100. From then on, whenever I pressure the next channel on the remote all I got was radio. I tried and tried and only get different radio station on the TV. I walked down to reception desk and explain the problem at 12 mn. The receptionist offer to come up to my room to take a look. I went back to the room first and tried again on the remote. I pressed the numerical pad for a lower number(e.g 12 or 20) and the TV picture came back. I realized that the remote control button was sticking or jumped to a higher channel number. Minutes later the receptionist knocked on the door and I thanked him for showing up but I solved my own problem. It was lucky for me to read onto the page 4 of the Tripadvisor hotel review that this hotel offer a free portable Wifi but you have to ask the front desk. It is a small cigarette pack size gadget that is actually a cellular-radio unit that act as a hot spot. I requested it and was able to carry with me in my pocket. I was able to use internet to navigate Paris street. The Leige metro was just a straight walk outside the hotel and a brief one minute walk. Very convenient. I used UBER to the Gare du Nord train station (37-39 Rue de Dunkerque) and it costed me 7.50 Euro for 2 person. The receptionists were very polite and answer my questions. I was wondering there was no complimentary drinking water in the room and at checkout I mentioned to the receptionist. I was told that the big glass expensive looking bottle that housed in a stainless steel receptacle was the complimentary drinking water. I told her that I did not find any note saying it is free and so I did not touch the bottle. The gym was in the lower floor (marked -1 floor) and smaller than the hotel room. It has two machines, a drinking fountain, some towel and two bars of snack and wo apples displayed. I stayed for two night and the maid only make up the bed and clean the trash but did not change the two towels that we used. I would stay here again if the price is $145 or lower. It was the 5 star rating on the website that entice me to move from my previous hotel stay. I was disappointed at the star rating. I could have stayed at Best Western Premier Le Swann for $90 and saved some dough. If my review help you in some way, please click "helpful". Thanks.

    « outstanding »

the Hotel was amazingly clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly which you can rarely find in Paris , the hotel offers duplex rooms type which is very convenient for families.

    « Beautiful Hotel - Great Location »

We loved this hotel - it is modern, clean and in a great location. Although it is small, it had great facilities and good breakfast options. The staff were very polite and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family!

« Stay of Mr. Dubash & his daughter »

I was extremely happy with the Hotel and the new look of the Hotel which is very well located in Paris for a travelers as well as business travelers like me. I shall definitely recommend this hotel to my other friends.

« wonderful hotel in the heart of Paris »

Beautiful hotel positioned only a short walk from Galerie Lafayette. Excellent service( Thanks to Stephanie Cauvin, amongst others, we had a magical stay). Our room was stunning and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and the small "terrasse" was pleasant and relaxed. We don't have the feeling to be in a capital. Without doubt, I would recommend this hotel. I am a regular hotel's customer and I would say that it is one of the best hotel in Paris!!

    « Beautiful hotel! »

The hotel was gorgeous right from the entrance. The staff was very accommodating and gave us an upgrade due to us being on our honeymoon. The 2-floor suite was beautiful and the bathroom, including the rain shower ??, was exquisite. Throughout our stay the staff helped us with navigation of Paris. I would most definitely return.

« Spectacular in every way »

We booked this hotel as it was a great rate for a five star hotel. We were a bit suspicious as our perception of Best Western was that it was an "economy" hotel chain. We were blown away by the hotel. It is modern, smart and extremely clean. Our room was spacious and well adorned with toiletries. We arrived early and our room was already ready and set up for us and our daughter (fold out couch). We also received late checkout without any charge. The beds were very comfortable and we received a turndown service every night. The staff are amazing. The front desk staff are friendly and professional and were always willing to help. Cannot fault them. We asked them for restaurant advice and their recommendations were spot on. The breakfast staff were prompt and so friendly. The hotel does not have a lunch / dinner restaurant but they do serve breakfast, the breakfast is incredible. Looks small but there are plenty of options from cold meat, cheeses and yoghurt to eggs, mushrooms etc. to pastries. The food quality was faultless. Lunch and dinner was not a problem as there are plenty of good restaurants in close and safe walking distance. The location of the hotel is also excellent we walked to all of the attractions. Everything is within a 5-7km radius. The gym is modern and in good condition with good equipment, although limited. The only thing to be mindful of, of is that there is no parking. We had a car and had to find parking along the street. We decided to return our hire car early rather than try find longer term parking. We loved this hotel and will now consider Best Western Premiere hotels whenever we travel.

« An excellent place to stay »

Very nice luxury hotel friendly and helpful staff and good location metro station and restaurants are with in minutes walking the rooms was very clean and the beds were very comfortable the lobby was very nice the breakfast was delicious and cheep I would stay here every time I visit Paris

    « What a Surprise »

We stayed two nights in a duplex style room, obviously quite new, nice garden sitting area, breakfast was excellent, what made the place special were the staff , Clarissa, Stephanie and especially Garry, nothing was an imposition . Having stayed in BW occasionally over the years, this one surprised us, a real cut above the norm in presentation, and the staff attention to detail, we'll be back .

    « Surprisingly good »

I booked this hotel through Priceline & at the time of booking I was not able to see what hotel I'm getting until I paid for it. Once I paid and found out it's a Best Western I was extremely concerned because Best Westerns in U.S aren't necessarily known for good quality but once I arrive at the hotel I was pleasantly surprised and loved everything about the hotel but the price of the breakfast since it wasn't included. I was unpleasantly surprised to find out breakfast was €25 per person. I travel a lot and breakfasts will not cost more than €10-€12 per room. My bad I didn't check the price. Hotel itself is fantastic though.

« Beautiful quiet hotel in perfect location »

Beautiful quiet hotel in perfect location, Stayed here in September for a long weekend. Perfect location for a very beautiful part of Paris. Friendly staff , modern clean rooms. Breakfast was well beyond expectations with a very high quality selection of products on offer.

« Wonderful hotel near Opera »

This hotel is wonderful, the rooms are fresh, new, modern, and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. We came in by car and they took the car and parked it for us, as finding parking in Paris can be quite stressful. I love the close proximity to Opera, Galleries lafayette and the tour buses are nearby. Great hotel highly recommended.

« Good hotel with friendly staff »

Stayed in this hotel just for one night. Hotel is very central located in Paris, only 2,2km away from the railway station Paris Nord. Room is smaller then you would expect from a 5* hotel but the quality is very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good, but again not a 5* level.

« Fantastic stay but not 5 star »

We had a fantastic stay in Paris the hotel staff were 5 star and could not be more helpful when we arrived but the hotel itself I don't think should be 5 star . No breakfast included in the price and not enough coffee and tea making in the room . The beds were really comfortable and had the best night sleep , I just think it needs a little bit more class to make it 5 star and no room service lets it down , but over all can't fault my stay just expected a little bit more for my money.

    « A gem in a great location »

This hotel is located in the 9th Arr. , nearby Moulin Rouge, The Opera and Galleries Lafayette for upscale shopping ! All are within a 10-15 minute walk..There is both a Metro stop (Liege) and a Bus stop within a block. The hotel is a 5 star Boutique hotel which only opened in Nov.2015, with 55 rooms. The hotel is really fantastic. The Staff is so helpful and friendly(especially Gary and front desk young lady during the morning-sorry I can't recall her name). They go overboard to help you with EVERYTHING and actually make you feel like family-can't say enough good things about them ! Convenient location and plenty of restaurants, cafes, transportation, close by.Old building which was renovated, keeping the old charm, but in new/updated rooms etc. Highly recommend it !

    « Unexpected service »

Overall the area is very quiet yet still close enough to everything. Really new hotel, super clean and elegant. Love the vanity products they selected. They were from Mooooi, One of my favourite designer. The interior space is very modern and minimal. If you love modern design, you would love this place. The best thing about this place is that the price is beyond reasonable for what you get. The bed is extremely comfortable, I didn't get any back pain while I was there. on top of this, They provided free portable Wifi machine for you to take out of the hotel during your stay. This is the reason I will come back to this hotel. Loved it, For real.

    « Great for a short stay »

Clean, modern, and comfortable. Only gripe was the small space in the room would make it tough for travelling with a lot of luggage for more than a couple of days. Other than that, I would certainly come back!

    « A pleasure, truly »

The combination of high quality accommodations and fantastic service is hard to find in Paris, but this hotel has them both. And it's location is extremely convenient to both business and Paris attractions alike. Thank you for a wonderful stay, staff ;) - Sean

« I've never had a better service anywhere else! »

I travel a lot, yet I can honestly say I've never had a better service at a hotel anywhere else! If I'm ever in Paris again, I'll always seek to come back here. PS: there is an Indian restaurant nearby that is absolutely outstanding!

« Thanks to their hospitality, »

I spend 3days in this hotel, Best Western Premier Opera Liege, but the condition was extremely bad. I was traveling with my boss and this was his first inter continent trip. He was badly missing Korean food and we were quite tired due to the past schedules in Finland. And worst thing, we could not receive our baggage properly. Charles de Gaulle Airport is notorious for baggage handling so we brought our main things by and carrier, but our clothes have to travel two days more because of SAS made serious mistakes. Even we stayed in the worst case like that, we could enjoy trip in Paris just because of hospitality of this hotel, Best Western Premier Opera Liege.

    « Couldn't fault it »

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel recently during our short break in Paris, and I honestly couldn't recommend it enough. The hotel itself is attractive and modern. The rooms are spotless and well equipped, with a lovely modern bathroom and the comfiest bed I have ever slept in - like sleeping on a cloud! The staff at the hotel were all lovely, and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. The location is also perfect, with the liege metro station being literally at the top of the street, a minute walk away from the hotel. Best hotel I have stayed in, would definitely return the next time I am in Paris.

    « Love it »

Hotel is very Cute, very clean , very nice staff . Location is Within walking distance to the station. I love the room and the electric dryer in the bathroom is handy. Bed is very comfy. I will return if I visit Paris again

    « Outstanding »

The staff does everything to make you feel at home. The rooms are small, but tastefully designed and have all you need in order to enjoy your stay. The hotel is located close to Montmartre and the nearest Metro station is only 150 meters away. Bon voyage!

    « Excellent Hotel »

Myself and my girlfriend stay here for 3 nights during a stay to celebrate her 21st and I must say the hotel and the staff were excellent! We arrived in Paris late on Saturday night by this time we was very tired so the member of staff on reception checked us in as quick as possible! The hotel is in a good location as on a quiet street close enough to walk to the sights of Paris and far enough for a relaxed feeling away from the centre. All members of staff were extremely helpful including helping us thing a nice restaurant to eat and recommding routes to get to Disneyland. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family, would also stay here again if re visited Paris!

    « Great Hotel »

What a great boutique style hotel in the heart of the Opera District in Paris. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms, the wonderful Nespresso maker, the kind stafff and decor. We had just come from a visit in London where our hotel room was double the price and half the size. A great find for Paris...

« poor security--my handbag was stolen in hotel coffee shop at 1.30pm on July 10th »

I have my hand carry bag stolen in your coffee shop and I lost all my cash and passport. I didn't get any help from hotel staff in reporting to the police. They didn't even let me view the video which has recorded the thief's face and image. No police came to investigate as hotel managment didn't evn follow up this the case! All 8 of us are deeply troubled by the security of the hotel. It is small hotel, how can they let strangers to come in and steal customers belongings so easily! I have lost over 10,000 Euros, my Ipad and my SamSung phone in my Prada hand bag. Very disappointing! Billy Yung

    « Excellent »

Decent pricing, brand new facilities, 5-star, tremendously clean, great service, professional and friendly staff at Reception (you can't find that in a lot of places in Paris), excellent location - I Uber'd it everywhere but there's a metro station right down the road, and fantastic in-room amenities.... the shower is perfect, bed is like sleeping on a cloud, room service was great, housekeeping are so efficient it amazed me to have such a team be so attentive! I come from a hotel background, and through my professional opinion this place ticks all the boxes! Thank you for a great stay! See you next year :)

    « Loved this hotel »

After staying at another best western during this trip I wasn't looking forward to staying here and expected the worst. I arrived and was immediately greeted by the clerk and was shown to a very nice modern room which I was not expecting in Paris. The room was incredible and recently renovated and the bed was the best I slept in during my European holiday. This hotel reminds me of some of the 5 star hotels I stay in during my Vegas trips. If I had known how nice this hotel was and how reasonable it was priced I would have spent all my Paris time here. It is very close to two metro stations, parks, bakeries, and a small grocery store. I would definitely stay here again in a heart beat.

« Very good and modern hotel stay. »

No complaints about my stay at this hotel. Clean and new hotel. Love the rain shower. Only think that they should provide one bottle of water daily as compliments instead of only once at check in. I've stayed at other hotels in Paris and they do provide 1 bottle daily. Some even ask if I need another when I return mid day when I was tired from the hot weather. Please look into this to improve given the price you've set.

« Very good quality hotel »

Very good location of the hotel and very quiet, the bedroom is a bit small but very clean. The personnel of the hotel are welcoming and very nice. The quality of the hotel compare to the cost is very attractive. Not enough shower gel for a couple who takes 2 showers a day minimum.

    « Disappointing »

Weekend rate over 300 Euros - and what do you get for it? A very small room, no room even for a suitcase! No fresh towels. Only plastic pillows. No fresh water. No wake-up call, sorry, we forgot. Undrinkable coffee at breakfast. Reception ladies which are overstrained. Unaccaptable! Thanks only to the Portuguese receptionist who tried to make up for all the problems.

    « Excellent 5 stars boutique hotel »

My wife and my self have been had a really good stay at the hotel during ten days. Its location at half block from Liege metro station allow us to move easily to any attractive place of Paris. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to friends who are planning to travel to Paris.

    « Business trip »

great location, just by the metro station, great inside decoration with good facilities, excellent bed and bathroom, the breakfast is really nice and tasty. I felt for a 5* hotel they might have thrown in maybe a pack of nuts or crisps with the "welcome water" bottle. there is the usual over priced minibar which I didn't touch. Also there isn't a USB port, not even on the TV which is a let down when you don't have an international power plug adaptor!! Also the treadmill is really slow to start, the touch screen is not very responsive, however the overall gym facilities ( the 4 machines they have) is of food quality, there are free fruits and energy bars. overall it was a positive experience and I will definitely come back here.

    « Left unsatisfied »

The hotel is near a nice quiet area in Paris and I have used it for an over night stay before travelling to Lyon. The check in process was quick however I was given only one key as the receptionist said they ran out of keys. The room was small and that was standard for paris and it had a good space to put your bags. Small wardrobe which is satisfactory and it has a safe inside. A working desk with a good cafe machine and wide choice of cafe and teas. The bed was very comfortable and the design of lights was good. The AC was good and the overall room atmosphere was excellent. The TV was placed at the side of the bed which was a drawback but nevertheless it was a big screen. The toilet however was ver very small to allow movement and it had a good size shower box. The issue that made me upset was the cold water in the shower only. I spoke to the reception at night about it and he did not offer us another room and promised to take care of it first thing morning. This made me feel it will be fixed. In the morning i tried the showet and it was still cold and when I spoke to reception, they came back to me after a while saying Manager is saying they cannot do anything now and offered me to change the room. That was one hour before checkout. Yes I said no because it was too late, I requested an extension of my checkout and was offered only 30 min. I took my cold shower and left. At the reception when I spoke about the subject the lady replied nothing was told by night shift to them and that they are sorry. I simply said if a replacement was an option why didnt get the offer at night ?? My advice do it better than me and give the hotel a chance but check the water and ask for a different room if not satisfied. It seems I was too tired to act.

« The Hotel and the Service were perfect! »

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpul. The room was very cleanly. The metro was two minutes near the hotel and we could reach all attractions very fastly. We enjoyed our holidays in this hotel.

    « Perfect! Perfect! Perfect!!!!!!! »

This hotel was perfect for us especially the staff were the icing on the cake!!! We stayed there for my birthday n the staff made us feel soooo special bringing up my cake in my room with free drinks!!! The receptionist n everybody else.Everything was clean n perfect! I will definetely recommend this hotel to anyone n I think we found our place now everytime we visit Paris!!!!

    « Excellent service »

We just wanted to thank you all so very much for making our stay so memorable. We have a wonderful stay at your hotel and the staffs are very helpful & super friendly, especially the front desk staff.

« Beautiful hotel in the Theatre district »

A beautiful new hotel close to the Mogador theatre. The hotel is centrally located within the the art and theatre district, does mean you have to walk about 20-30 minutes to the Champs Elysee and other Paris sites. A very comfortable stay, great room facilities. Staff were excellent.

« Updated Hotel in Heart of Paris »

I've stayed at several Paris hotels, and most are quite small and dated. This hotel room was small but updated with all amenities. Wonderful sleep and excellent show er with ultra modern fixtures. The staff were super helpful offering complimentary drinks and assisting with directions to Eiffel Tower, Galleria, Champs Elysses and perfect places to dine. We walked everywhere and actually took the subway in the afternoon with ease. The hotel is highly recommended for good value and comfort.

« Amazing hotel, great staff, wonderful location, rare quality (and space) for Paris!!!! »

I don't usually write reviews (or often forget to I must admit!) but I really felt compelled to do so on this occasion. Before visiting Paris, I was told by many that hotels aren't generally great in Paris (unless you pay a small fortune) and can often be restricted in space/quality for what you pay. However, this particular hotel broke all of those conceptions! The location was fantastic - literally less than a minute walk to Liege Metro station if you prefer to travel in Paris by train or an easy ten minute walk towards Opera and then the Centre of Paris. We had a mixture of days in Paris where we walked to every location and some days (like going to Disneyland) where we took advantage of a day pass on the Metro/RER trains to get to/from locations (cost around 10E but they do a 2/3/4 day pass which might work out cheaper if you intend to travel every day by train). The hotel was amazing. We stayed in a Duplex Suite which was truly one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. A lounge area downstairs with plenty of wardrobe space, a flatscreen TV, minibar, free coffee machine with pods, second WC and a sofa bed for a third person if you needed it. Upstairs was the most luxurious large double bed, a second flatscreen TV, desk, and a bathroom which was bigger than most standard bedrooms!!!! It had two sink units, a separate toilet and a brilliant rainfall shower with separate handheld head which can both be used at the same time! It was super clean, modern, well equipped and truly wonderful. Extra things were hairdryer, iron and board (which can be obtained from Reception), his/hers bathrobes and slippers, electric controlled curtains and ample shower cream, shampoo and body lotion. One of the highlights of the room service at the hotel was a gadget that we were given which allows you have free wifi throughout Paris. All you have to do is ask Reception for it and then once charged, you can carry it with you in your bag and stay logged on wherever you go in Paris and have super fast wifi! It was actually better than my 4G!!!! We didn't have breakfast/food at the hotel so can't comment on that. The grounds at the hotel were amazing - great, modern reception area, rooftop gardens on the 5th floor, gym area on ground floor - everything modern, clean and super efficient. There is also a Mac computer and printer in reception for use and printing (with no extra charges). The hotel can book any excursions for you, as well as taxis etc. They also have maps of Paris, so don't bother spend money getting one in town! I must give a special mention to Ludivic who was one of the nicest Reception staff. He was so helpful, attentive, accommodating, full of useful information and just one of those individuals who couldn't do enough for you - I hope management at the hotel give something extra to their staff for special mentions etc because he deserves it. All in all, superb hotel, would definitely stay again and by the looks of it, one of the best in Paris. 5*****

    « Excellent »

Very nice place. Had a luxurious two floor apartment! Only small problem was the fan blowing directly to the bed. In the summer this is probably nice but during cold weather you do not miss it. I didn't know how to adust the fan.

« Lovely stay in Paris »

I want to thank Stephanie, Clarissa and the other staff. They were very helpful and made our stay pleasant. I had special request for them before arriving at the hotel and they helped me perfectly with it. I will definitely be staying with them in the future. Thanks again for everything!

« nice hotel quite area clean hotel »

the breakefast was poor not change able the same every day and, when any dish finish from the puffet they dont bring another one and still there was alot of time to finish the puffet hours and the staf in buffet stuff are not enough i finish the breakfast and still i dont get the salt and peper

« Very good hotel in Paris »

Booked thru agoda as the rates were magnificent. The hotel's location is very good. A stone throw away from shopping at La Fayette and plenty of food nearby. There is a metro line nearby and Rer about 15 minutes walk. The first impressions were good. During check in the lady at the desk certainly made my day. Friendly, bubbly and armed with a wealth of knowledge. I would hire her immediately if she was in my country. We Felt so welcomed. Rooms were abit small, but not claustrophobic. Bed was good, but the pillows were abit soft. Didn't try the breakfast as we went out for brunch. Hotel was good but the lady at the counter made it GREAT. Regret didn't getting her name

« very nice stay in Paris »

Very nice location, near metro station, close to the Opera and to St. Lazare . The hotel was perfect, the rooms ok. Very good service, friendly anb helpful. It's a goog choice if you fine a modern and quiet place in Paris

    « Truly 5-star!!! »

The entire hotel staff was genuinely nice and hospitable. They fulfilled all our requests (housekeeping, dinner reservations, tour arrangements...) which made traveling around Paris easy and pleasurable. We felt like we were staying "home" in Paris with the superb accommodations at this Best Western 5-star hotel. We also love the perfect location, and the 3-minute walk to the Metro Liege station, Definitely staying here again on our next trip to Paris :)

    « Lovely stay »

We had a lovely stay intros very clean and carefully decorated hotel. The room was modern but a bit tiny, shower was big with a "rain function". Large choice at breakfast but only one waiter to serve. The staff was very attentive and always ready to help, they let us use a wireless wifi device we could use outside the hotel so we could stay connected to the internet anywhere in town, very useful! We will definitely come back.

« Best Western certainly the Best in Paris »

Fantastic hotel! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The staff were extremely polite and efficient, well spoken in many different languages and extremely courteous. The room was a pleasure to stay in, extremely clean and very flexible with the way room service was delivered. The 24 hour room service really made the stay so relaxed and enjoyable, as we ordered gorgeous champagne and nibbles to the room. Fantastic location to go and see Paris, close to bars and restaurants and extremely helpful concierge desks to help navigate you through the city. Absolutely 5 stars! Fantastic hotel

Dear Sirs, Only one person at the front desk and not able to handle guests inquiry as quickly as needed. Except for the lady with blond hair, the others were either not trained or were very slow to handle guests. I found lack of parking facility in close by a real minus point for your hotel.

    « Loved it »

we stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon - we were looking for cleanliness and location and this hotel excelled at both. The staff is very friendly, the room very clean, comfortable and quiet and we loved their breakfasts! It is very close to the metro and we enjoyed walking to sight-see. If you don't like to walk, this might be an issue but the metro is really close so it should not be an issue. We hope to go back soon!

    « Greatest hotel ever! »

New hotel in nice district where I've been couple of times. Rooms are very spacious and beds are big and comfortable. Bathroom is nice and well equiped with rain shower. Breakfast is lovely and staff is more than friendly and always willing to help. You won't regret your stay here!

    « Outstanding »

I recommend this hotel unconditionally. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. The location is terrific with restaurants nearby, the Metro a short walk from the hotel giving access to the major sites of Paris.

    « Perfect »

« Great new place in Paris »

I saw the reviews for BW Premier Opera Liege online before booking and they were very favorable, so I decided to try it. I was very pleased. Very central location to shopping and to Montmartre area. Only small issue was that I arrived in Paris after an overnight flight and got to the hotel at 8 am on a Sunday. On Sundays, most things are closed in Paris so it was hard to occupy myself till the 3pm check in time came. Fortunately, the hotel staff did everything in their power to give me the first available room by 1 pm.

    « 5 Star... ...Really?! »

While this hotel was OK, we experienced a number of issues unbefitting of ANY hotel, let alone a 5 star. A few come to mind, like being locked out of the hotel after midnight, and needing to wait 10-15 minutes out in the cold, with no one answering the phone at the front desk... ...Or the very awkward waiting staff, at breakfast in the morning, which appeared to have little or no experience at all. Or the still unfinished look of the place (many walls clearly needed touchups, and the elevator's stainless steel panels still were showing bits of their plastic wrap covering, poking out). Finally, the breakfast and breakfast room itself were more reminiscent of what one might find at a basic Best Western somewhere in Alabama, but certainly not PARIS. Our room was small and unimpressive. The service was mediocre. The price was high. And even though these are Paris norms, we expected more from an American hotel chain, listed as a 5 star / boutique, in the 9eme, over X-Mas and New Years...

« A great new hotel in the heart of Paris with only a few minor teething issues »

This is a newly-refurbished hotel (late 2015) which is positioned right in the heart of Paris (Liege), providing great access to some of the city's most iconic locations. Clarissa, Stéphanie, Gerry and other members of staff were extremely attentive and helpful, doing their utmost to accommodate us. We had arrived far too early for check-in on the first day, but were offered the choice of taking a smaller room with a large terrace or waiting until the 3pm for a larger room to become available. After seeing the first room, we decided to wait for the latter and were glad we did as rooms do differ significantly throughout and it proved to be far more spacious. The hotel itself is quite modern and well-equipped. It sports a great bathroom, plenty of storage and hangers, hairdryer, coffee machine and the usual items one expects from a hotel of this quality. The coffee was complimentary (thankfully because we tend to gorge ourselves on it). The bed was large: very comfortable for me but a tad too soft for my wife. Location-wise, we had no complaints whatsoever. It was within 2 mins walk to a metro and taxis (we used Uber) had no problem get to and from the place. Our only niggles (hence down-marking the service and room) were the small things that were overlooked. Housekeeping skipped cleaning our room on the second day and we returned from a day of sightseeing to a disheveled room. Although they cleaned the room on the second day, housekeeping still managed to leave us almost without toilet paper, Additionally, throughout our stay we had arranged for a couple of items to be brought up to the room, e.g. more coffee, milk, sugar, but none of these were ever brought (except the toilet paper, thankfully). I just assumed that being a small hotel with limited staff numbers, they had forgotten. My only other gripe was the lighting in the bathroom: very weak which made shaving/putting on make-up cumbersome and, on occasion, the shower light refused to switch on. Aside from that (and they really are only minor gripes), this is a great location to bed down and relax after a long day or night in Paris. The staff were extremely pleasant and courteous and did all they could to make our stay there as comfortable as possible. Breakfast in the morning was quite substantial and offered a varied choice of fruits, yogurts, cereals, pastry items and bread, and hot food, along with fresh juices and hot beverages. My wife and I would certainly stay there again.

    « Not bad »

Good the position: the hotel is not very far from the Opera but rooms are too small and breakfast not rich at all. Personnel are kind and available in reserving a restaurant (the hotel has no internal restaurant....). Price is good but you can find better in Paris. Corrado F.

« Wonderful Experience in Best Western Premier Opera Liege »

Staffs are helpful and friendly. The lobby is modern and elegant and the bed is comfortable. Bath room meet expectation. Surrounded by restaurant, bars and shops. Walking distance to shopping districts and nears metro station is Liege.

    « Lovely hotel »

Great hotel with a really good breakfast as part of the BnB package we had. Easy bus ride to the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay. Lovely room although Secret Escapes had promised a superior room and it was tiny for that class of room. Small complaint though and I would definitely stay there again.

We loved this hotel. It is modern and stylish. Well located close to the Liege Metro station. Breakfast was outstanding - probably the best selection we have ever had and really good quality. Staff are all very pleasant and helpful. We hope to return!

Best Western Premier Opera Liege is a great value for money hotel. As Agent of international models i visit Paris quite often. Its a hectic living and a good rest is essential to have a nice stay in Paris. The central location and the service of the friendly staff make this one of my favorite hotels in Paris.

    « Excellent ! »

Went on business trip to this hotel early January 2016 for 5 days. It was excellent for value (however, got special rates but it could be a bit expensive if you pay the full price). Very well located (2 min walk from Liege Metro Station and 10 min max walk from Saint Lazare train station and Place Clichy). The room was big enough and quiet (which is not always the case in Paris). The staff was very helpful and professional. Did not try the breakfast but free flow of coffee with Nespresso machine in the room.

« First class hotel in every respect »

We sayed here for 3 nights and were delighted with the experience. The customer service throughout was exceptional. The room was modern, large and very quiet. We were on the 5th floor and had easy access to the roof garden which had a tantalizing glimpse of Sacre Coeur. Breakfast was perfect and had a wide selection of foods, hot and cold and again, the service here was attentive and very polite. Well done Best Western, you made our short trip wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Thank you.

« Not comfortable and in my opinion not 5* worthy »

I've mentioned it for 2 days of a 3 day stay and nothing was done. The superior room we are in is so small that it's extremely stuffy. To top it off the air conditioning is off. Yes off, as in they have turned if off because they say it is winter. During the nights it's unbearably warm and as a migraine suffer that's an immediate trigger. I'm not happy at all given I booked the hotel as a special treat for my husband and I and specifically chose the hotel for the amenities it advertised, air conditioning being a key one. Breakfast has one staff member rushed off his feet and barely able to service all the breakfast customers. We came for breakfast at 9am today when it finished at 10:30am. Much of the food was finished was not replenished. I waited a good hour and eventually gave up and ate what was left. Staff are incredibly polite but hotel is not the 5* it claims to be, it's probably self-rated. I cannot fault the staff I've spoken to as their manners and general communication was great but when it still doesn't deliver any results it's tarnishes the overall impression. I've given the staff a chance to resolve my issues and the only things that were done were to give me a fan and offer me an equally small room that still has no air conditioning. And by air conditioning I mean being able to control the temperature; staff say it works but you cannot control it and settings you see are false, only hot air will come out. I had a migraine on the first night, felt dizzy and sick when I woke up this morning because of the heat in the room and unfortunately I'm going to either have to endure the noise of a portable fan borrowed from another hotel for me or face another terribly warm night and migraine tomorrow; not what I expected for the price I paid. As a valentines surprise for my husband I've been apologising since we arrived. I'll be speaking with my travel insurance company when I get home.

    « Maison & Objects Paris Trip »

The hotel, room, location and staff were first class and the cost very reasonable. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Please don't put the prices up too much! First class 5 * treatment. Tony

    « Very nice Hotel »

I'm so glad i stayed in this hotel. It was close to the metro to get around. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helped us as best they could. There are lovely coffee shops on every corner near the hotel. The shops are also 2 minutes from the hotel if you wanted to go shopping. I wouldn't change anything about my stay at this cosy hotel.

    « mir esmaeil masoumi »

that's very good hotel. the reception was very good. we have a good residence in this hotel. the access to the city was excellent. cleanness is excellent. bathromm is very vell. thank you for all. if the price a little lower than the existing price that will be very good.

« Great Hotel, Great Staff »

We stayed here in December for a birthday treat. The location was fantastic for getting to a great many of the Parisian sights & attractions. We spent a great deal of time looking for a hotel. What we found in general was that nice hotels were incredibly expensive while the majority seemed very average & dated. Very few appear to be in the process of updating their decor. This made finding Opera Liege even better, the hotel has been beautifully decorated. Our room was very comfy & cosy & we had no problem relaxing once our day was done. As others have stated the bathroom was a great size for Paris. The staff were very nice and could not do enough for us. What was really special & very thoughtful was the fact they noticed it was my wife's birthday & surprised us in our room with champagne. We have made it a tradition to go away for a city break on her birthday & this has never happened before. For the price range this is a fantastic hotel. We will be going back to Paris & will be using the Opera Liege as the standard others have to compete with.

    « An excellent hotel »

Stayed for 4 nights on holiday with my wife and our experience of this recently renovated hotel was excellent from start to finish. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Room extremely well designed and well soundproofed. Excellent breakfast. I really can't think of anything that could be improved, hence my 5star rating.

« Definitely not qualifying for 5 stars »

Its not a bad hotel, but it doesn't meet the requirements for 5 stars. The staff is nice, but again not as professional and attentive as it can be expected in a 5 star hotel. The rooms are very small. The breakfast is nice, but not worth additional 25 euros. They are not serving any warm food or at least snacks during the day, besides breakfast. If it was a 4 star hotel for a decent price, it would be ok. But considering the room rates, additional costs for breakfast etc, the experience unfortunately was rather unsatisfying and disappointing.

« Nice brand new modern hotel in old walls »

Hotel rooms in downtown Paris are generally quite small, which applies also to the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Opera Liège. But the bathroom is bigger and more nicely equipped than most of the other hotels around. Carefully chosen materials and a high quality breakfast contribute to the good impression. A nice room allows for a very pleasant stay. My room faced directly the rue de Liège which isn't very noisy but also not completely quite. The windows offer a good level of isolation so that the noise doesn't disturb. For the quite normal rate below 150€ per night that I paid it was an excellent price performance ratio.

    « Brand new hotel »

This hotel is brand new. The location is perfectly in the heart of Paris. The beds were so great we asked for the manufacturer of those beds at the reception. :-) The staff is super friendly and speaks several languages fluently. We will come back.

« Best Western Premier Opera Liege »

The hotel is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The metro is few yards away and the good restaurants are close by. Prices are moderate, and the portions are big. Hotel is a walking distance to Montmarte, the Opera and other tourist spots in Paris. The Best Western Opera Liege is quiet interesting. I would describe it as a modern hotel in an old building. When you walk in to the reception, the decor is very modern compared to any Parisian hotels I have stayed. The rooms are modern, comfortable, clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable; towels are very good with robes and slippers which is expected in a five star hotel. The hotel employees are very courteous, friendly, accommodating and helpful. I would like to go back again and see the improvements.
