Lovely modern hotel. Our two rooms were great. We were allocated a room with double bed, sofa bed in lounge area and a kitchen dining area with oven, fridge and dishwasher. This was great for evening meals as a family. Our sons had a standard room. Both rooms were of a high standard and very clean. There are no usb ports in the rooms but we had our travel adapters with us so this wasn't an issue for us. Breakfast was included in our stay and was fabulous. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, pastries, cooked items, meats, cheeses, something for everyone. We ate in the restaurant one evening but were disappointed with the options. The regular menu is just a variety of pizzas and the daily menu just had three other options, one meat, one fish and one vegetarian which sadly weren't to our taste. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the centre of Zell am See and is not really is a “touristy” area. The local options for evening meals weren't great so we took advantage of the summer card we were given which allowed us to travel into the town for free by either the localbahn train or the bus. The summer card also gives you free access to some cable cars, the boats tours on the lake, Top of Salzburg experience, the gorge in Kaprun and much more. The pool is on the small size especially if you want to actually swim and a few more loungers would be a good addition. The gym and spa were both good but the tiled steps from the pool down to the spa are a little hazardous as they're usually wet. There are signs to warn you of this. Overall we had a great stay and would be happy to recommend to others
We were traveling in Austria for 1 week and stayed here for 2 days. We were so happy to receive free Summer Card which started in July 15. We would be able to access to different activities either for free or discounted rates. Bruno, who checked us in at the hotel, was so helpful. He gave us good advice where to go or hike. Card is valid till last day of stay in hotel. Do note the hotel is not in the area of touristy Zell am See It takes 5min to drive into Zell am See town. Underground parking is available. We booked with dinner plans and the food was good quality. Dinner is available from 5.30 to 8pm. The overall condition of the room was good. Do note that the room does not have air conditioning. We had to open the balcony door to let in some breezes. I definitely recommend getting a fan for each room in the summer.
Very nice hotel with great wellness and pool area. The rooms are big but the reception and bar closes at 21:00 . We arrived at that our and they soon closed everything. The wellness is open only in the evening until 8 PM but the outside heated pool is open from morning and you can have a nice swim even if it's freezing outside.
Amazing hotel. The hotel seems to be pretty new. And all facilities are beautifully made.Breakfast is very good. Dinner ok. Got upgraded and got a very nice big room. Everybody was very happy. Parking in the basement was so nice. Charged our car as well. Only 5 min. walk to the ski lift. No problem. We would like to come back. Ideas to work on:Better sound in the restaurant. With 100 people there, the decibel level was close to 100. Better acoustics are needed!Peter in restaurant is the best. Upgrade him!
Wonderful people looked after us at this lovely spa hotel, close to the ski lift. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing time with good ambience, engaging staff and fine food. Only improvement we would suggest is to not charge for a dishwasher tablet! Having spent good money to stay in a suite for a special holiday it seemed a bit strange that we would be charged 2 euro extra !? Special thanks to Peter, Ivan, Laura, Bruno and Matej for their help and kindness.
Great location, 5-10min walking distance to the Areit-eXpress lifts (take the shortcut next to the parking garage entry). Very clean hotel, spacious apartment (we had 3 bedroom), sufficient indoor and outdoor parking and good breakfast options. We found the apartment (3 bedroom) very sizeable and with a well equipped kitchen. The lighting in the apartment is quite bright (not dimmable) and the apartment lacks decoration, together with the relative narrow curtains and squared leather sofa the apartment lacks a bit of coziness / warmth. The bedrooms are spacious but we found the beds too soft. The wellness center is nice but in our week very crowded and full of young kids. We ate in the restaurant once, they offer a 3 course menu (or pizza); good quality but a steep price, there are cozier places to eat in town.
Hotel location perfect with easy access to Skiing area Schmitten (walking distance), Kaprun/Kitzsteinhorn (20 Min. by car), Saalbach/Hinterglemm (25 Minutes by car). Hotel environment perfect, clean. Heated storage for ski gear. Heated outside pool. Outstanding service! In particular at the restaurant! Excellent quality of breakfast and dinner. Rooms modern, big and well equipped. Hotel location within an industrial area (less cosy as compared to a location next to downtown Zell) but close to Ski resort, supermarkets, pharmacy and airport. Improvement suggestions: Pls. add hocks and additional hangers to the rooms. Wardrobe hangers are limited to be used in the wardrobe only... Closing time of the Hotel Bar should be extended from 10 p.m. until Midnight.
Very clean, well appointed and large apartment. Nice warm outside pool. Reasonable if chaotic breakfast (acknowledging that it was half term week). The hotel was oddly lacking in any sort of ambience; staff pleasant but not proactive. Seems like most guests are on half board. We had dinner once which was average at best. It's a close walk through a hedge and a car park to the ski lift. The skiing is great. The area in which the hotel is situated is sort of a combination of light manufacturing / out of town shopping centre. It's a good 20 min walk to Zell.
The hotel was nice, clean and cozy! The personal was very polite and friendly! Short walking distance to slopes. The SPA area is not big but provided us with proper retreat after long skiing. We had a family Appartements with one bed room and it was very quite with Mountain View.
An exquisite stay at this hotel surpassed all expectations! From the impeccable service to the luxurious amenities, every detail was attended to with utmost care. The elegant decor, coupled with the breathtaking views, created a truly memorable experience. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the attentive staff who made my stay truly exceptional. This hotel sets a new standard for hospitality, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended for those seeking a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication!
Nice rooms, delicious Food, friendly service, Great Pool and Wellness. We went there for the second time and will come back. The Station of Areit Express is nearby, Supermarkets are Next to the Hotel
Our stay at this hotel was overall satisfactory. The location deserves special mention, being ideal for skiers with the ski lift just a short walk away. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help, which we greatly appreciated. The breakfast impressed us with its good variety and quality. Another highlight was our room, which offered a beautiful view of the mountains. However, there were some areas in need of improvement. The mattress in our room was unusually soft, which didn't quite suit our preferences. Parking was a challenge, as the spaces at the hotel were limited, and the additional parking lot behind the building was unlit and icy. The cleanliness of our room was inconsistent, with housekeeping not coming daily and the cleanliness of the toothbrush cups leaving something to be desired. In the spa area, the atmosphere was sometimes disturbed by the passage to the pool area. The pool area itself often had wet floors and lacked sufficient space for storing towels and bathrobes. The gym was well-equipped, but it lacked mats and small fitness equipment like exercise balls. Overall, our stay at the hotel was okay, with several areas that could be optimized for a better experience.
We chose Elements Resort in Zell Am See, Amsterdam, for a special getaway - my partner's 40th birthday. The resort's location is a major plus, conveniently within walking distance to the ski resort. Our room was clean and comfortable, offering lovely views of the Austrian Alps, which we thoroughly enjoyed. However, there were a couple of aspects that didn't meet our expectations. During the booking process we requested a room with a special view and specially noted that we were celebrating a major birthday celebration, however the hotel staff didn't acknowledge the special occasion, nor were there any birthday wishes or special gestures, which was a bit of a letdown for us. Just lacked that extra personal touch. The spa facilities have restricted hours, with the sauna only operational from 3 pm for a few hours, limiting our opportunity to enjoy them. As for the breakfast, it was decent but not particularly memorable. On a positive note, the staff were generally friendly, which made our stay pleasant. Overall, the resort is great for its location and amenities, but it could improve in adding a personal touch to special occasions.
Nice clean hotel. Wonderful place to stay. Parking, sauna, pool everything perfect. Tasty breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable, new equiped. Bathroom also very clean. Parking is in the garage. Hotel is in the quiet area.
Pros: - Thoughtfully constructed and comfortable rooms that have a full kitchen and dining area to make home-cooked meals simple. - Good location south of the city center that is a pleasant 40-minute walk from the heart of the festivities without being in the tourist fray. - Diverse and good breakfast options. - Good access to ski lift to start your first mountain hike soon after your arrival. - Nice pool area. - Good value. Cons: - While most of the staff are friendly, the manager is like Basil Fawlty, but even more brusque. - No air conditioning, which made the warmer summer nights a bit warmer than I would have liked.
* The advantages are the following: 1- Fast check-in / check-out 2- Reception staff were helpful 3- The hotel location and Parking garage 4- Comfortable bed and clean room 5- Breakfast buffet was simple and good. 6- Bidet shower available in the toilet. * The disadvantages is the following: 1- No air condition. 2- Hotel and room services close at 9:00 pm, not 24 hours.
the apartments are spacious and clean, with functional pantry to prepare warm meal and beautiful scenic view of the mountains. walking distance to the shopping centre and the lake. The staff are helpful
At Elements Resort we had an amazing self-service Apartment in a wonderful hotel surrounding with a fantastic view at the Kitzsteinhorn from the balcony. The Areitbahn is located next to the Hotel (about 5 min to walk) and Zell am See city is about 20 min walking distance (you walk directly at the sea promenade). We also enjoyed the breakfast a lot (all our wishes were surpassed). In the evening, after a busy sightseeing day, we enjoyed chill-out time at the heated pool and spa area. Thanks to the lovely team for everything. We are coming back for sure!
Excellent place to stay, clean and modern. Lovely restaurant with excellent food. Staff very friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable. Nothing too much trouble. Especially Montena and Peter, made our stay memorable. Will be going back.
I have just returned from Elements Hotel. It was our second stay at this property. I travelled with my teenage daughter for a ski trip. This hotel has such a great atmosphere and style overall. Its very convenient to the Ariet ski lift across the street. It is not ski in/ski out, but its still pretty convenient. This is a fairly new hotel, and it certainly has that type of minimalist, modern style. But why I give the very positive review is because of the service we received, especially from the waiters in the restaurant. My daughter is vegan, and the hotel staff were very accommodating to her dietary requests. Special mention for Mr. Peter Nagy, who always went above and beyond to provide her a vegan meal, and just provide truly exceptional level of service. So big thanks to Peter, and the rest of the staff, for contributing to our excellent ski holiday in Zell am See. We hope to be back soon.
The staff at the resort provided the best service I've personally experienced in a long long time. Our group included 25 people for a week long stay of snow skiing and site seeing. Our package included breakfast and dinner. Most nights the group elected to dine together and the staff was so good at the logistics of feeding 25 together. Our expectations of the meals was not very high, yet everyone in our group were amazed by the gourmet meals we were served. So much so we applauded the cook and staff on our last night. In all aspects the staff went above and beyond. For example, due to weather we elected to depart the hotel at 5;30 AM to get to Munich for the flight back to the US. Since we would miss normal breakfast service the GM and cook came in early that morning and prepared to-go breakfast bags with sandwiches, water, snack bars, and fruit for the ride to the airport. WOW! We can't say enough about how friendly and accommodating the staff was to everyone in our group. The hotel itself is excellent. Rooms were clean and plenty spacious. It's a rustic modern look. Bathrooms were nice size with great showers. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the ArietExpress lift and train to town and a 10 minute drive to Kaprun if skiing there as well. The heated pool and sauna's were used by the group daily. Just a great way to end a day skiing. I would definitely come back again!! Well done Elements Staff!!!
We had the best time at the Elements Resort. Everything was outstanding. The rooms, the amenities, the food and the service. The service was the best we have ever experienced. Highly, highly recommend staying here. We came with a large group and everyone had the same experience. The food was 5-star quality.
We were really satisfied with our stay in this hotel. The facilities are great and the staff very kind and thoughtful. The apartment was comfortable, with all the amenities (except a microwave) and comfortable beds to rest. In the hotel you can enjoy a nice wellness area, and a very pleasant bar and restaurant area. And we do not want to forget the tasty breakfast buffet with personalized attention. We definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed in one of the suites. It was an absolutely huge space with large kitchen, bedroom and bathroom and two balcony's with nice views overlooking the mountains. The hotel breakfast was included and was excellent - lots of choice of cooked eggs/ bacon/ pancakes and a variety of continental meats, fruit, cake, breads. The pool and spa were excellent and very relaxing. Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially at reception who recommended things to do whilst we were visiting. The zell am see card was invaluable and was included in our stay. It saved us a fortune travelling on the chair lifts/ swimming/ accessing the gorge walk etc. Only negatives were that the walls were quiet thin so it was slightly noisy at night. Also the bed was incredibly soft which we found uncomfortable. Although we did have a sofa bed so ended up sleeping on that. Would recommend staying here and would stay again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elements. The hotel is beautifully presented - modern and clean - & has a lovely wellness area. Half board option worked well with plentiful breakfast and 4 course dinner & the staff were polite and friendly. Super close to a chair lift and a 30-40 min easy walk to Zell Am See centre. Free parking and wifi.
We stayed there for one week in August . Frankly we expected something better. One positive note for the staff who tried to help , but the hotel has some clear problems : first of all location in the middle of a commercial area quite far from town , than everything is tight : dining- breakfast room is too small and is constantly overcrowded especially at breakfast . There is not really space for a buffet and breakfast experience looks more like shopping in downtown Tokyo . Swimming pool is nice but small with access from dining room ; rooms are nice but with terrible soft mattress . Parking was often full . There are no service entrance or service lifts so corridors are often full of cleaning devices . Cleaning of rooms is made at random hours with a lot of noise by cleaning staff . I believe there is room to improve
Where do I start. An amazing ambiance and interiors, very modern and reflecting the nature of the city. Our room was a 1 bedroom with kitchen and sofa bed. We are family of 5. The room is totally equipped with everything we needed and specially the kitchen and bathroom. There are washing machines and dryers in the basement and we used them almost everyday. There is iron and iron board and also hair dryer. There is no AC but the weather is cool enough and their doors system is great. I would recommend them to add a net (screen) to prevent the insects. The staff are all so great and the restaurant staff too (I can mention some, Manuela, Matte, Ivan, Rita, and Claudia) the reception staff are superb as well, Montena, ,Peter, Marline, Harold and finally Bruno. The cleaning team are like bees, they are all energetic and they all smile and regard you when they see you. The staff in general seem happy and I think that reflects the good management and I hope they stay like this for good. The location of the hotel is excellent too, close to everything and all activities. Far from the busy city but not really far (8 or 10 min by car). Nice restaurants are close by too and I would mention Marcelo Pizzaria. Breakfast is great and has everything you need but I'm not sure if it considers allergies (better to ask them before you book). I hope they stay great like this. We came in summer but I'm sure it's amazing in winter/ski season too.
At first glance, the hotel is very elegant and well equipped. Unfortunately, the services provided do not match it. The hotel was very noisy every day even at 3 o'clock at night. The lady at the reception was not willing to communicate with me in English. The hotel restaurant was open until 9pm but when I wanted to book a table for 7.30pm in the morning it was not possible. Supposedly due to occupancy by guests having half board. When I went past the restaurant at 8pm it was empty. There was no drinking water being replenished in the room and some of the capsules for the coffee machine were damaged. When we returned to the room in the afternoon, the door was open. The pool was nice, but the pool area was very wet. On the other hand, the breakfast was very good with a great choice of food.
This is an Amazing place to stay in Zell am See. Kids enjoyed very much wellness area (specifically the pool). Restaurant on site with delicious dishes and wide wine list selection. We had a beautiful view od the surrounding peaks from aur apartment. Ski lift in walking distance (though we were here off season). Many activities in vicinity such as the Wild & Adventure Park Ferleiten and Tauern Spa. I definitely recommend.
+ Friendly , competent staff, everywhere. New hardware with good minimalistic design. Sparkling water and nespresso machine. Most important: Zell/Kaprun Summer card, all cable cars etc. free. Excellent breakfast. I had no time to visit the pool but it looks nice. - Located in an industrial area on the outskirts of Zell am See (about 40 min walking to the center (not that this is so important). very small room (they call all rooms ‘appartments'). Booking via the Best Western homepage is nearly 2 times more expensive than at booking.com and the BW price is completely unrealistic, compared with similar hotels. This is very annoying, if you are i.E. a BW diamond select member you cannot realistically book via BW. Whom does this serve ? Half board set Dinner good but minimalistic as well (the excellent Pizza is cheap (±EUR12) if you have not booked the half board option). Drinks rather expensive. It is not a resort even if they call it so.
We stayed in this hotel on summer 2020 for 10 days. I just loved everything about it! The apartment is spacious and fully equipped. It's clean, modern and nicely decorated. It made me feel homey. All the staff was very friendly. Location was great, close to Zell am See, Kaprun and everything you need. They also have a washing machine which you can use for free. This is really practical when you have children and staying for a long period. Highly recommended and I cant wait to go back.
From arrival we felt welcomed here. The hotel is opened recently and very stylish inside. We got upgrade to a huge suite with terrace on ground floor which was a lovely surprise and we really appreciated that. Restaurant & bar staff were all lovely and food was great. As it was really sunny during our stay, outdoor pool with drinks was our afternoon program and we enjoyed it. Also, one of the funicular is about 10 minutes walk from hotel, so you can get to the mountains very quickly and easily. Breakfast was following new covid rules, but honestly we didnt mind. You can order whatever you want and have a great morning. Overall, this was our short break abroad and really enjoyed that here.
The hotel complex is new, nicely and modern furnished with a wonderful spa. There is a large selection of everything for breakfast and everything is plentiful and the food is very tasty. The hotel is within walking distance of the ski slope.
