Best Western Yuma Mall Hotel & Suites

This property has a lot of great features. Clean, comfortable rooms with breakfast choices for everyone. I found the staff to be quite helpful in any request and personable. Great Job to the Team. It's close to the Mall and many different stores. Will be staying again.

We made reservations at The Best Western in Yuma while we were doing a roadtrip from Tennessee to California. We were in WOW at the Yuma location! The hotel is beautiful, location is perfect, our room was unreal! One reason is we stayed in one of the Executive Suites we could have lived in this suite! It was absolutely beautiful!!!!

We picked this hotel because we like the Best Western brand of hotels. It is easy to find and very close to shopping and a number of places to eat. They have complimentary happy hour a few times a week but otherwise the restaurant and lounge has a very small menu of things to eat and or drinks. This hotel is on a number of different levels and there are no elevators so it involves a lot of stairs

Killed six roaches, one was a "wake up call" with me in the bed that morning. That in itself makes it an unforgiving experience. I did not want to leave this review as I liked the property, the lobby area, and ladies at the front desk. I gave corporate a chance to respond to me, but I am yet to hear anything after turning in the survey they sent and sending a corporate email a few days ago. I didn't ask for "a free ___" and I'm a BW Rewards member, but I guess that wasn't worthy of a response either. Therefore, time to express my experience where it actually counts most, their consumers.

This is by far our family's favorite hotel! We stayed there for the first time Dec 2022 and regreted not staying there sooner. We have been staying there every time we are in town since then. This month's trip we didn't need a hotel but my children, husband, and i love the breakfast, pool, and the rooms there that we ended up getting a room anyways :) the staff is so polite and helpfull(especially the ladys at the breakfast Pub!) that staying there for us is a must every time we're in town :) i definitely recomend this hotel!

Rooms need working faucets, outside needs major cleaning and updating. There needs to be a larger sofa, no room for two people to sit and watch TV. The cable TV was not user friendly. The price was ok but not that reasonable for the room conditions.

This property was much nicer than I expected. The rooms were clean and bedding comfortable. There are some steps to deal with because it is built into the side of a hill. They were very accommodating for my request for a ground floor room with my elderly dog, The breakfast was much better than your usual over night stay. The location is close to several restaurants and stores.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Our room was clean and quiet bed was comfortable We enjoyed the daily hot breakfast and the complimentary refreshment. Had to use the laundry facility that was clean, sat just outside in a nice picnic area waiting for our clothes to be done. I would highly recommend this BW and stay there should I find myself in Yuma again

Nice hotel good location and the room was clean and the girl at the counter was very nice and very helpful. My wife's knee was bothering her and they allowed us to change room to the ground floor. It was very nice of them. They also have a very good breakfast. I do have a plug in hybrid and next time I will be looking for a hotel with a charging station. Other than that I would stay there again.

This hotel was clean and great customer service it was an amazing experience to have stayed here. The restaurant was also great they have good food and drinks rooms are clean and hot tub and heated pool what more can u ask for.

This is a nice clean venue at a reasonable price. The staff was courteous and helpful, and check-in was fast and easy. The room was spacious and clean, and parking was right outside my door. They also have reserved parking for disabled veterans, which I though was pretty cool. I had a little trouble with the key and the door, but help was sent right away and new keys were made. There is a laundry facility that I took advantage of, (bring soap and quarters) and a small cafe where they serve a better than normal breakfast. There are many hotel venues to choose from in Yuma, but I'd definitely use this one again.

This hotel was perfect for a solo traveler just passing through for a couple days. Great access to restaurant convenience stores, freeways etc. Staff was really friendly, helpful and informative. Always appreciate refrigerators in rooms and air conditioners that actually work! Will definitely stay here again.!

Pool was dirty and not filtering so no one was in it. Cleaning staff just walks right into your room without giving u a chance to get the door. Happened to us twice. Hot water and water pressure were not good in the shower

Great place to relax on our way to California from Tucson. Very comfortable, friendly staff, good rates, great breakfast! We will stay there again soon! We stayed in a 2-queen room, net trip we will stay in the suite with a couch.

Bring your bathing suit and workout clothes! It is in a great location for seeing the historical sites and walking along the river. The hotel location is surrounded by a mall, with a multitude of restaurant to eat at in the evening.

Clean rooms, pet friendly which is a must for us. The staff was very pleasant and helpful during our stay. breakfast was wonderful while we were there. Definitely will stay again next time we are there

When deciding to go to Yuma, Arizona in the summer, our first choice in where to stay was BestWestern Yuma Hotel. We loved the restaurant that served a variety of delicious food, the cool and relaxing pool, and the very comfortable bed to sleep in. Thank you BestWestern in Yuma.

Clean spacious suite, they gave us a free upgrade. Fridge, Freezer, Microwave and coffee maker in the room along with 2 suitcase stands. Friendly checkin with goody bag for rewards members. Drinks and cookies available in the foyer. Good choice for free breakfast.

i have stayed here before and will stay here again. it is convenient for me and the rooms are clean and comfortable. breakfast is always good! there is plenty of restaurants around and is convenient to many things.

The timed bathroom lights were a disaster. Didn't appreciate finishing my shower in the dark. Also, only one check-in clerk at counter during prime check-in time. A second one showed up just as I finished.

Clean only the timer light in the bathroom didn't work. This hotel needs a electric car charging station. I would definitely stay here every time I go to Yuma if it had an electric charging station. They need to get with the times.

Great breakfast! Rooms are updated. Everyone was friendly. Close to the mall and restaurants. Internet was terrible. Key cards are very sensitive - you pretty much have to keep them in their own pocket.

very nice establishment. i have stayed here multiple times and every time is the same check in is quick everyone is friendly and the rooms i have stayed in are always clean and ready to go. the sweets are espically nice..

I always stay at Best Western because their rooms are up to date & each staff member was super friendly and helpful! The hotel room and restaurant area were kept clean and I had no issues. I've been to plenty of hotels but I will always go back to BW. Great service and affordable prices!!

They need to upgrade the rooms - mattress and appliances! Poor condition and noisy appliances - sleep wasn't great. Definitely not worth the price I paid for two nights! Key card issue - could use a 2-3 times then they stopped working. Yes - I keep away from my phone.

The breakfast would be the only reason I would stay here again. But if you enjoy your room to have the smell mildew, if you prefer that your TV remote does not turn on the TV, that your hair dryer has a missing protective cover on the back and it sucks up your hair, burn & rips it off, if you prefer no hot water for two out of the three days of your stay and if you enjoy being woken up at 4:30am by the noise of a truck reversing while moving trash bins for over 30min, then this is the place! For me, h-no!

this property lost gas and hot water on friday 11/11 and did not inform guests at all until guest complained they did not have gas as of 11/13 so no hot water and gave everyone 10% off one night stay, as they could not do anything because the military doesn't like price drops, as we were all confused by this failed tactic to maintain vacancies while in office they were still booking without informing new arrivals. Poor property management and not military friendly, or as they put it they are military? the night manager has no idea how to manage and very distasteful to say this property is managed by the military, very distasteful.

The location was great. Close to stores, restaurants, and the freeway. The staff was very helpful and the complimentary breakfast was good. I appreciate the kitchen staff's patience and happy demeanor.

10/27/22 1 of 3 reserved nights & the only night. We had the suite: ROACHES in the bathroom, roaches came out on the counter while we were eating, from under the tv and onto the desk below. I told a male employee that we were leaving that room and waiting for a double, he offered to step on the roaches, no joke! It is difficult to rate value, roaches are a zero across the survey.

Stayed here one night to break up the journey from San Diego to Tucson. We had a King Room which has a separate bedroom and living area/kitchenette. Very clean and quiet room though the internet was a bit slow. Loads of chain restaurants nearby, we walked to Olive Garden. Complementary breakfast was OK.

I would like to to inform you that during our stay at the Best Western in Yuma Az. My family and I encountered the following conditions while staying in room 265-A. We found toe nail clippings on the floor in the bedroom along with, what looked to be male semen dried up on the bed. But that's not all, there were roaches in the room and at one point one was crawling on my wife's arm at 9pm, at which point she had enough of the room and her and my son went to go sleep in my SUV. To pay over $135 dollars and to have to sleep in these conditions is unacceptable. I spoke with a lady at the front desk by the name of Isabelle the morning before I left and informed her about our stay and what took place. She informed me to that i needed to contact Alexis, but she was not in at the time of my departure. Our baseball team travels to Yuma often for baseball tournaments and I can assure you that this has been one of our worst stays in Yuma.

Very dirty, noisy, internet does not work. Someone tried taking the screen off my room window and I was told that the windows have locks on them and there was nothing to worry about. The room also smelled.

I stayed at this hotel on January 29, 2022. We came for one day only and always try to reserve the room with the in room hot tub, which is one of the most expensive and difficult to get. The room was in HORRIBLE condition. The mattress looked like someone was murdered on it and they tried to bleach it out. The hot tub area was in terrible disrepair. (I have pictures of all of it). I found a bug in my bed, cracked lamp shades, etc. After seeing the room in this bad of shape, I decided to pull the sheets and was mortified by what I saw! Please understand, I work in the hotel industry and try never to complain too harshly. I have stayed at this property many times and have been loyal over the years. I was asked to send the photos to the manager, and she would contact me in the morning. Id did....she never did. Now I will be posting the photos on Yelp and Trip advisor, and I promise you It will not look good for the property, I know that I would never stay there if I saw these images. If you look at my history, I have been VERY loyal to Best Western over many years, you will also notice how my stays have declined over this past year. This is not how I would think a Diamond customer, or any customer for that reason should be treated.

The website notes cocktail lounge and restaurant on site. I also chose this location because it noted airport shuttle. They did not have a lounge nor restuarant (restaurant was compl breakfast area). The shuttle wasn't running so needed to take taxi.

I had a long day and a long drive. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff at the desk was extremely welcoming and nice. The location was very good for restaurants. I got in late and left early so I could not take advantage of all the amenities, but there are plenty. I liked the little outdoor seating areas they have around the property. Room was clean and well equipped for business with a desk and plenty of electrical outlets.

We went to Yuma Az and stayed at the Best western for my aunts funeral . Exceeded all expectations and the free breakfast was Amazing . After this trip I'll be staying at this hotel more often . Thank you for making this trip a good one .

Been staying at this property several times throughout the year and as time goes on I see the property keep up with the times in terms of always keeping the décor updated and always striving to do better.

I don't normally write reviews for places even though I travel a lot for business. Mostly because I have found that most reviews are sent either by people who hated something or the opposite loved something. Very few people who've had a normal mediocre experience leave reviews in my experience. First of all I would like to acknowledge that the staff at this hotel/motel are fantastic. Very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Check in was very pleasant and informative. The included breakfast “people” are great, really wanting guests to have a good breakfast experience. Good on you management for hiring great people! The AC worked great which was amazing given the outdoor temps hitting up to 117 during my visit. Now… the room… while clean, it was dated and worn, REALLY needing an upgrade. The vents for AC were caked up with dust. The doors/walls were in need of painting/cleaning, and the carpet …who knows? Yucky brown pattern could hold any amount of yuckiness, and I would not walk on the floors barefoot. The bedsheets seemed clean and the bed was comfortable. The towels, while clean, were like sandpaper on the skin. Not pleasant to dry off with. And my final “pet peeve”… the TV stations. I think Best Western must have some partnership with “sell” TV because the vast majority of TV stations were QVC-type info-sell commercials. One or two “news” channels and a couple of game show channels. Not cool. When I want to relax after work, a good movie channel would be great… nowhere to be found here. Please rethink this partnership you have with these selling channels Best Western. Ok there ya go… an honest review by a real person.

Best Western Yuma by the mall had Nice clean rooms, a lot of variety of foods for breakfast both hot and cold,and were very accommodation to my needs. I would stay there again when I come back to Yuma

The grounds had trash all over. The room had an odor of sewer so bad that we stopped at CVS to buy February. Broken dresser, wobbly fridge, broken shower drain, not enough towels, etc. We've stayed there before a few years back and it was great. Now, we will never stay there again.

The maintenance guy stalked me and the kitchen staff only serve half a breakfast. The younger heavy set kitchen staff with dark-colored hair does not want anybody to take more than 2 small apples. There are no posted sign to indicate these restrictions. As I walked back to my room the same guy followed me from the dining room and stood in the parking lot where he watched me go into my room and then to the parking lot.  As I drove away, he stared at me. I called the front desk twice. Both times I was told the manager is not there. Best Western did not mention on its website food will be limited for each occupant nor did the website indicate stalkers on the property. Not worth my money! Plenty of better hotels in the surrounding area

This is NOT a Hotel, it's a Motel. Anyone over the age of 50 knows the difference. There is no elevator, all rooms face the exterior towards the parking lot. Had to change rooms because husband has heart condition and couldn't carry 50lb suitcase up 2 flights of stairs to get to room. Got a floor room, in the basement, it was old, dark and paper thin walls. It was an adjoining room set up and could see the light from the other room. Could hear them talking, showering and their TV at midnight. Sorry to say, was extremely unhappy. We had gone to Yuma to watch grand daughter play in the softball nationals. Just letting you know.....BEWARE! pictures on internet look good..... but NOT a HOTEL....

I've been a Rewards Member for a while now and usually am never disappointed by the quality of food served at breakfast - Best Western is by far better than most chain hotels! However, the rooms usually disappoint - this location was no exception. Neither my husband nor I slept as the queen beds were lumpy and my husband said he could feel "things" poking through the mattress. Such a SHAME! This location obviously cares deeply about the building, pool area and grounds as it was very nice -- WHY not upgrade your guest's sleeping environment. We are passing through Yuma again on our way home to Kingman and had planned on staying at your location again ... but we've decided a good night's rest is much more important to us.

Needed an overnight hotel on my way to California. This was an excellent choice. The internet is open and I didn't use it. Otherwise, everything was great. I like the Cafe where they serve complimentary breakfast.

Fantastic Place to stop & stay; easy to get to & quick check-in; most of all this place is safe place for lodging... Great price & location provide many places to eat or shop or do whatever is needed to be done. Wonderful setting...

There is a major problem with the hotel management at the Best Western Yuma Mall. I have never written a bad review on TripAdvisor, but since I have never gotten a return call or email from the property concerning the error they made, they have EARNED a bad review. Although my credit card has been charged in full for a recent one night stay, the hotel receipt I received has someone else's name on it. (I need a correct receipt to turn in for reimbursement.) The front desk told me that the Hotel Manager (HM) is the only one that can fix that error they made. The HM was off property, so I requested a call back. I have now left 4 messages for the HM without reply. I have emailed Best Western Customer Care twice. They replied to the first email, saying they had reached out to the HM and I should be hearing back. However, I still have not heard back from the HM. Now I am out almost $200.00 because I cannot get reimbursed due to their error and blatant apathy toward correcting it. OUCH!! I have since looked at reviews on this hotel, and I now see that over half of the TripAdvisor reviews for this hotel (BW Yuma Mall) for 2022 is a dismal 3 stars or less. In contrast, the other Best Western in Yuma (the BW Foothills) has rave reviews with 10 FIVE STAR reviews with 1 FOUR STAR review and NO reviews at 1,2, or 3 stars! In addition, the last 3 Yelp reviews on this Best Western Yuma Mall are all ONE-STAR while the Best Western Foothills are all FIVE STAR. Just be aware – if you stay at the Best Western Yuma Mall, pray that nothing goes wrong. You may be stuck like me (as well as other reviewers who have been affected by this very poor management). I know I will be staying at the BW Foothills next time.

Hotel staff was very friendly and prompt Room with kitchen is laid out a little funky. Breakfast was good A lot of restaurants close by to chose from. Next trip to Yuma we will stay again at this hotel.

For what I paid to stay here, I was expecting something different. This is more of a motel & not a hotel set up. The breakfast was great & when we wanted extra pillows & when the toilet clogged, staff responded right away.

The property accommodates a large amount of military and their families. The property needs to be power washed as it is filthy in the courtyards and hallways. Housekeeping cleaned my entry upon request but the doors and walls, trash and sitting areas were disgusting.

Smelling room, bad staff, except when we checked in. Clerk was very professional. Morning clerk couldn't care about our complaints.the breakfast was good. The room stuck, hair on bed. Room was huge. I would recommend.

Very clean and nice amenities. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful. The social hour and breakfast were way above most places Only downside was internet. Might just have been our rooms location. Was not a big issue.

Hotel was generally very dirty. Carpet and bathroom floors were gross to touch. One bed had a pit in the middle and needed replacing and the other one wasn't much better. Pool had garbage all about, which isn't necessarily the hotels fault but wasn't picked up until the next morning. Breakfast was hot and fresh though.

I've stayed at quite a few Best Westerns and this hasbeen the nicest one. From check-in to the clean and organized room you can't go wrong. From the front desk to the housekeeper couldn't have been more pleased.

Really great staff, breakfast is great good location easy access to various stores and restaurants. Within walking distance of the mall and movie theaters staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and will assist if needed

We booked for a family spring break trip and a visit to my dad in Yuma. We booked a suite since there are 4 of us. I wasnt aware the rooms opened to the outside. Maybe I missed that? 3rd floor no elevator. Our door was too small for the door jam so there was an inch gap. The window in the bedroom was locked by a flimsy wing nut and the window fell out when we tried to open it. There was mold in the bathroom vents. The room was straight out of 1985 and not in a good way. It is close to shopping along with several other hotels. We were supposed to stay 4 nights and I was being charged $889. The pool area was nice for the kids but we didnt stay there. Ended up paying more for the last room at the Fairfield and felt much safer. Staff was very nice but the owner needs to do some serious upgrades to keep that price point.

We have stayed in this Best Western a few times before. Normally spend approximately $85 per night. This time because there were few rooms left available, for whatever reason, the price raised to $245.

It was the worst suite i have ever stayed in the room so called suite was horrible the microwave looked like they buy at walmart and threw it in there the beds was beoned horrible the pull out so called sofa the spring sticking out the outlet didn't work the bathroom super small the whole suite was shameful to stay in the mini fridge was shamfull for being a suite it was a hot mess all around worst room ever...

I don't normally leave bad reviews, I'd rather contact the staff but the staff didn't seem to care. This place was dirty! Our bathroom was terrible, floor was dirty, hair in the tub, fan didn't work at all, wallpaper was stapled together at the seams, curtains looked like someone threw up on them, carpet was sticky in spots, sheets had stains. And they messed up our reservations, we booked 2 nights and they said we only booked one and re-keyed our room. It was terrible from the time we arrived until we left

The hotel was clean with comfortable bed and very friendly staff. If you need a good night sleep or are a light sleeper request a room away form the freeway traffic if possible. I was awaken on and off by passing traffic . Other than that this place isn't so bad.

The check in staff were very pleasant. The room was updated and very clean. Nice desk and was able to do some work using their internet. Breakfast was hot and OK with a decent choice. Check out was easy and fast.

The hotel itself is nice. I usually reserve in a Best Western. The front desk was nice and greeted us. The rooms are quiet and there's many options to eat very close by. The price isn't bad compared to others. Would stay again.

very disappointed we were forced to pay for food services we were unable to utilize. extreme restricted hours made the service useless for our trip. If your going to add $$ to the room rate for food service then it needs to be accessible

Nice hotel - little dated and starting to show its age and needing maintenance. However the room and facilities were clean. We had a suite which was nice with lots of room but the bath room is laid out kind of funky; it works and was clean so not a big deal. The room was very quite and bed comfortable. Lacking outlets for electronic devices. The breakfast was good with lots to choose from. Overall nice place, clean and friendly staff.

Overall decent motel, but there are issues. Our check in was not very good. It was late, 10:00 PM. The night guy was not friendly, did not tell us about the breakfast, had to go back and ask in the morning. He basically did not want to be there. We were put in a room that faced the highway and was incredibly noisy. The walls are so thin we could hear the neighbors in the next room clearly talking. The next day we asked to be placed in a different room because of the freeway noise. The day time desk clerk was very accommodating and moved us to an interior room. A much better room, away from the freeway noise, but the walls are so thin in this motel. The bathroom floors were not clean in our initial room. The second room was much better.

Perfectly located walking distance from various restaurants. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and polite. The room was clean and logging into the internet was easy. The room was a bit overpriced in my opinion $180 with taxes. This room felt more like a $130-100 room.

Check in was friendly and quick,the rooms were very clean,the breakfasts far exceeded our expectations and your staff is so friendly and courteous. Thank you very much! We will definitely be back again.

Customer service at the front desk were very unprofessional. I travel about 30,000 miles a year on business in Arizona so I often experience situations like this. First issue was I had a hotel staff member knock at my door at 9:40pm to tell me there was a noise complaint on my room, I was in bed asleep. Second I had no Wi-Fi, I work from my room in the evenings. I do not recommend this Hotel

The location is perfect for the area. There are many restaurants and stores nearby, and it's right off I-8. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast food is delish with good coffee that squirts out of a machine but this coffee snob enjoyed it. There is plenty of parking space and I felt that it was well lit and safe.

If you're looking for fancy, this is not it, but it's a solid option. Bed was comfortable, it's in a good location, although my room was facing the highway, and you could hear noise... the trucks going by. Also for some reason, when people are walking in the hallway, it makes the building vibrate. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good too, not a lot of choices but did have hot items such as scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with chorizo, sausages, potatoes, waffles and the usual bagels, breads and cereals. You could do a lot worse for your money in Yuma.

we like to stop in Yuma on the way to Tucson to break up the drive. This time we stayed at Best Western. Chose this location because close to Old Downtown Tucson and the freeway. Check in was quick and easy. Room was near the pool area. It was fairly quiet for us during the stay. Enjoyed complimentary breakfast. Glad to see that they are serving hot breakfast again. Lots to choose from including eggs, bacon, potatoes, french toast, and cereal.

We stayed at the Yuma Mall Best Western on October 31/2021. The hotel was great, clean, had nice dog walking areas and was really comfortable. It is an easy off and on and is close to everything you could want while in Yuma. The breakfast was well above the usual. The entire staff is friendly and fun....who else makes fresh Chorizo and eggs for you to go? The good treatment continued after we checked out and left the next morning. A few hours on the road my spouse said he didn't remember loading our pillow's bag. I called back and the desk person sent someone to the room to check. Sure enough, our bag was sitting on the bed! I asked about how to have them mailed to us when we got home about 10 days later. We emailed a prepaid postage label and now have the favorite pillows at home! We thank the entire staff for our great treatment. We recommend this place highly!

I enjoy my stays at the Best Western Hotels. They are my default hotel no matter where I have to travel , from the southeast to the western USA. No need to look for elsewhere, I can always count on BW for a nice stay.

Rooms are very nicely appointed and stocked. Beds are super comfy. Staff are super efficient and friendly. Pool and hot tub were spotless, and they go above and beyond with their fresh hot breakfast. I am not a fan of outdoor entrance motels, but I will always stay at a Best Western. They always exceed my expectations every time.

I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times and every stay has been enjoyable. Front desk and staff are always very kind and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone , whether you're traveling alone or with your family and kids.

We used to stay here for all our trips, but now it is so shabby it hurts. The pool and spa were unkept and peeling plaster was everywhere. I would stay here in the future if the place were upgraded properly.

It was excellent! from checking in and all the staff they were friendly. My room was clean and always with towels. every time i called for service they were there real quick. Fitness room was clean. lounge was great!

It was terrible!! I made a reservation back in August for a 2 night stay in November 5-7, confirmation# 137582, I also requested a room on the first floor due to a handicap situation with my husband is unable to go up stairs , but when I checked in on November 5th the girl at the front desk , was rude and told me they were sold out of the room I reserved , and I would only get a 1 night stay on the 3rd floor , and would have to figure out were I would stay the second night , she laughed and said it was a glitch in the system, and not sure why we sold out . my husband is unable to go upstairs, so I asked her how am I supposed to get my husband upstairs can I get help? She said NO , and laughed, my husband had to sleep in the car that night , while I took myself and the kids to a dirty room on the third floor , the next day I called corporate they contacted the lobby , and we were still not given what we reserved 2 months before , but where much friendlier in trying to accommodate us. Not sure why they charged me that first night being that the room was dirty and my husband had to sleep in the car, I have pictures of the dirty room, bathtub , and dead cockroach , would never go back, for my daughters yearly softball tournaments.

Our room was clean and the rate was better than some of the less desirable hotels in the City. Refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave and TV all in working order. Breakfast was included and it was very good with lots of food.

To sum it up, not clean and not well maintained. Breakfast was sliced hot dogs and tater tots. No Joke. Carpet was so worn you could trip on it it. Dust and dirt all over. Tiles on the exterior walkways were broken and loose so you could trip on them. wasn't able to check in at check in time because the room wasn't ready... then given a dirty room. This hotel shows no pride of ownership.

It is about 5 AM, as I write this, sitting on the tiny, ancient pull-out couch in our shabby motel room at the Best Western Yuma Mall. The AC is running, rattling away as it does what little it can. Over that, I hear the trucks on Interstate 8, which is conveniently located right across the packed parking lot, and almost visible through the broad gap under the door. I'm on the couch with one of our dogs, because we (two adults, two dogs) could not all find a way to sleep in the cramped bedroom and some of us were getting cross. There is also an occasional bang or clatter from the parking lot, where it seems someone is fishing in trash cans for bottles. The curtains are still closed, from earlier in the afternoon when it became clear that the AC couldn't keep up without help, so I'm not sure what's really going on out there (and I don't want to find out). The noise wasn't the only reason we tried to crowd into the small bedroom early this evening. When we got back from dinner there was a stench in the front room that I find hard to describe. Fortunately, by 3 AM when I realized that the sleeping situation just wasn't going to work, it had dissipated. The bathroom is the smallest I've seen in the US. Outlets are few and far between - the microwave is actually powered by an extension cord plugged into an extension cord, which AFAIK is a fire code violation. Housekeeping is trying at least. The place looks reasonably clean, but it is so dated and dingy that it is hard to tell. We reserved the nicest two-queen-bed suite on offer at this hotel, and made it very clear in the process that we were bringing our dogs. We got a phone call from the hotel on the first day of our stay, just after starting our drive to Yuma, alerting us that we would not be getting that suite, because they have “pet friendly rooms”. I'm not sure what the dogs think of this room, but at least they're getting more sleep than I am. When we saw what we were actually getting, we canceled the rest of the stay but did decide to stay one night. Bad idea. Don't come here. Please don't come here. Save yourself!

The jet tub was nice in this suite. But if your looking for everything to work (atleast in the room I stayed in) this is not the place for you. For 200 dollars a night you won't even get hot water in the shower. Barely above shivering. Lamps and outlets next to the bed are just for looks. There's no power to them so charge your phone and smart watch somewhere else. Don't get me wrong this place looks great if your just walking through the rooms but sadly that looks like all they do when inspecting them. If that's even what they do. Maybe if they had some sort of checklist to go through each room with there wouldn't be such easily fixed problems. The bed was comfy though and the air conditioning worked so if that's all you need this is the place for you but I think I might be taking my business elsewhere.

The hotel met all of our expectations. If we pass through Yuma again we will strongly consider staying at the Best Western Yuma Mall. It was a plus to park right next to the room as my spouse is on oxygen and this made it easier.

staff is very nice makes your check in process very easy. the rooms are nice and comfortable. the breakfast is very good with options. this hotel is minutes away from shopping and eating. everything you need is right around the corner

I received a communication that this hotel just contracted with the gov't to house illegals. I didnt believe it so called the hotel to ask for myself. It is true. Don't plan on staying here. They have no room for US Citizens!

Very nasty I had a clogged sink there was a smell in the room as if the carpet need to be cleaned or replaced. I saw a roach in the room I was told there was nothing could be done about it. I WILL MOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL NIT WORTH YHE PRICE THEY ASK FOR

I was somewhat concerned about staying a lower priced hotel but was pleasantly surprised by this visit. The lack of exterior landscape was a negative first impression, but everything else was great. The room appeared to be recently refurbished, It was clean and comfortable. The pool was large and had a lot of use (it was very warm) but was OK. The best part was the full breakfast provided with a very polite server, really good choices of menu items, and outdoor seating. Front reception was easy for check in and the staff were pleasant. It is located within walking distance of the shopping mall and has easy freeway access.

First room they put us in smelled terrible from cigarette smoke, second room garden level infested with misquotes, the room had not been vacuumed, outside of tub had grime all down the front, no drain plug in tub, not that I would get in the dirty tub! Coffee pot missing plastic filter so no way to make coffee! Was beyond exhausted from traveling in from Honduras so stayed one night checked out at 4:30am to be told that since I was checking out so early we needed to be out of the room by 8:00am weird!

I am a disabled woman and had several pieces of heavy luggage. They put me on the second floor. With no elevator. First, I have a BIG security issue when ANYONE has access to your room because the door opens to...the whole world. However, I chose this hotel without checking into to this so it is my fault but one of many reasons I would not consider this place again. As far as breakfast, I didn't find the breakfast area. But I guess I didn't look hard enough. So, I can't comment on that. The room was...weird. the sink - with no counter space - was in the bedroom but you had to go into the living room area, passed the kitchen and into the bath room to use the toilet or shower. The biggest issue is that I found a huge cockroach on the shower curtain when I went to shower on my last morning there. This thing was easily 2 inches long. I took pictures and video of it but don't see a way to upload those. Bottom line - EW! Gross place!

I love the room set up and the staff, but the room was gross. Paint and paneling peeling off, hair on every surface, the tub had grime at the bottom of it, the sheets had yellow stains, and the room smelled like BO. This was supposed to be a relaxing weekend away for me, but I ended up scrubbing the tub, sweeping up hair and febreezing every soft surface. I want to like this place, but I can't imagine paying hundreds of dollars to stay here again.

On our way to our vacation destination we decided to stay in Yuma for the night. We found this Best Western and they had a room for us. Check in was speedy, room was clean and comfortable. Will stay again on our way to annual vacation destination.

Was traveling through Yuma and needed to get some sleep before heading to my final destination. Stopped at Best Western and was pleasantly surprised the room had not one but two bathtubs one was a regular on and the other was a jetted tub in the bedroom area. It was clean had a little kitchen and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and fast. Breakfast in the morning was great. Especially in the times that we are in I thought that it would be the Grab and go brown bag with a cold bagel and cream cheese and a apple. I was surprised that they not only had the grab and go but the scrambled eggs hash browns, biscuits and gravy and bacon. Will be staying here again.

Hotel is in a good location. A short drive to downtown Yuma. Lots to do nearby. Pet friendly rooms! The breakfast was good. The hotel room was clean and what I expected. Nothing fancy but for the price ,I would stay here again.

If you are looking for a place with clean rooms, great hot breakfast, pool, and AC rooms, this is the place to be. Staff is always professional and willing to help in any way. KUDOS. I travel with my own pillows, but I didn't need them. They had a few different kinds of soft so that worked. Fridge is small but for a few days it works. Highly recommend.

The beds are super comfortable, the service is excellent, the breakfast included in the room rate is fantastic, price is great! Overall great value for the money! We stay at Best Westerns because of the comfortable beds and we get a lot of bang for the buck.

I've stayed here years ago!! It was great and well maintained. Fast forward to June 17th 2021. First room in ground jacuzzi room. The jacuzzi had plastic bags floating inside and the floors clearly had not been vacuumed. 2nd room and 3rd even worse. 2nd room the in ground jacuzzi was yellow really yellow. I call to have someone witness what I was seeing. They said the room should NOT have been booked. The 3rd room - the tub was dirty!! Really dirty - the 4th room was much better however wallpaper is coming off the walls. All of this moving from one room to another huge inconvenience in the 121 heat. The ladies at the front did their best. The owner was contacted. He explained to the ladies at the front that their not to handle this and that he would follow up with Priceline since I booked 3 rd party. Priceline have yet to hear from him Chris Cann if that's really your name. Own up to this nasty hotel. It's so tan down housekeeping can Benefit from some additional training. If there was no stars that's what I would have Chosen. I wanted a full refund for their poor attention to hotel cleanliness. I was inconvenienced on my anniversary. Just own up to your mistake and move on. Please don't waste your time or money. There's lots of other hotels in the same area.

While staying here, my legs were attacked by bed bugs. I got covered in bites and it was from this hotel. It was not clean and customer service was not the best. When I went to get breakfast, they handed it to me in a bag and my food was frozen. Not worth the money, unless you're fond of being covered in bug bites and contracting scabies from it :)

This property needs a through overhaul. Filthy outside corridors, cigarette butts everywhere with no butt receptacles, outside trash cans overflowing, sign reads "No pets in the pool area", but dogs in the pool . $50.00 refundable 'cleaning' deposit, should have been used to fumigate the room from previous occupant's cigarette smoke smell. Oh, did I mention the pair of mens underwear thrown in a corner in the outside corridor?

I have stayed at this hotel, 4 times, my 1st & 2nd visit were great, 3rd visit 2 years ago, they were doing construction & still are. The 1st room I was assigned was shabby looking, worn out scratched furniture, freezer with 4 in of ice & dark. I asked for a chage of rooms, 2nd was better, still scratched furniture, new looking Bathroom & sink. The Cafe, was still closed, after 2 years, they have a lot of work & cleaning up to do, before I stay here, again.

Stayed for a week but booked for two but work plans got cancelled. Booked a suite and ended up getting a room. But then on the second day my room was booked to someone else who almost walked in on me in the bathroom. Manager switched me over to a suite but not without issues there too. Had bed bugs on my bedsheet, power outlets weren't working and the room had a musky smell. Kitchenette had no pots and pans and small selection of utensils. Kinda disappointing for a BW.

Found this one online and booked it! Pictures show exactly what you're getting! Clean, comfortable stay in our cute cozy room. The girl at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. Our check in was super fast and we were in our room in less than five minutes! Definitely going back if need be.

Don't judge the hotel by the outside appearance. I was here on business, but the rooms are clean, the pool is clean, breakfast is free and very good, the internet is reliable and the staff is fantastic. If you're looking for a good value and not as concerned with all the extra frills, this is perfect. It's location is central to shopping, great restaurants and some cool historic locations, that we were able to visit during our down time. I would definitely come back and bring the family.

The place looks nothing like what is shown, The room was not functioning to meet the needs of my stay. I had many issues that could not be fixed. I fixed myself the first night. I was offered another room but declined after I was all settled in and my team was in the same area.

They have a good breakfast, good parking, some of the executive suites are very nice & the hotel is very close to all the stores in the mall. Overall they are a great hotel but they can be a bit pricey at times.

Don't let the photos fool you. This hotel is nothing like the pictures. It's disgusting and not worth the money. Dirty carpet, faucets falling off, bathrooms look like they're 100 years old and the furniture I would never even sit on. Just down right nasty!

As a front office manager of a best western.....I am embarrassed of this property for the room they put my family and I in. As an employee of a Best Western, I had high standards due to we are always to make sure rooms are up to standard for our guests to enjoy and feel comfortable. There were so many things that were wrong with the room I was put in. (#153) #1- There were a pile of pretzels behind the desk that is between the two Queen beds that housekeeping never cared to pull desk out to properly clean behind. #2- The phone did not work. I was unable to make any calls. Front desk tried calling room and I answered I couldn't hear anything. I had to call from my cell phone. #3- The single serving coffee machine was dirty and crusty that housekeeping did not properly clean. #4- The wall paper is coming off the walls. And in one of my photos provided you can see where a long mirror was placed to cover the wallpaper that was torn off. Because maintenance dept has yet to fix or does not want to be fixed. #5- The bathroom door did not close properly. It was not lined up to where it would click in and lock. All you had to do was push the door and it would automatically open. #6- I almost sliced my toe on a tile the was hanging off the wall at the base with the wallpaper tearing off. #7- The internet was horrible. And as for the employees. #1- The first resv I checked in on (04/17).....the young girl admitted she was new. But she did a great job and striked up a great rapport. #2- I made a second resv for the next day (04/18) and called the hotel and told the guy working that morning I would be down to sign my folio. But to keep me in the same room #153. I took all of our dirty towels to exchange them for clean ones. When I mentioned it to the front desk guy that was working.....he said I would have to “catch” housekeeping. Meanwhile I'm telling him everything about why I am not happy with my room. As I am speaking to him he proceeds to walk away. I told him...I am still talking. He comes back. And I told him please just give me clean towels. I am not going to go look for your housekeeping on your property. I showed him all the photos. He told me he had no maintenance up front. I told him I don't need the bathroom door fixed right now. But a work order does need to be put in. He ended up having maintenance come to my room. He said that he wanted to see for himself. I thanked him for that. He said he use to be the chief engineer there and that he isn't too surprised about everything I was telling him about the room. Very nice guy. #3- Since I was a stay over......there were about 2-3 housekeeping ladies in the room right next door to me. That was an adjoining room with ours. I went outside and asked if I could get a roll of toilet paper. The housekeeper I asked went to speak to another housekeeper and she told me she would be right there. 10 minutes passed. 30 minutes passed. No one ever brought us a single roll of toilet paper. Which is ridiculous because I was literally right next door. I could've been rude and just snatched it off their cart. But I know my ladies at the hotel I work at find that very disrespectful. So I didn't. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they did not exceed. There were four of us in the room. So I ended going to the store to buy our own toilet paper since housekeeping couldn't provide it for us. I am very disappointed that my expectations were not exceeded during my stay. I only stayed at this property due to it was close to the mall. Can't even really say the kids enjoyed the pool due to it being way over crowded. Please put in work order and have maintenance fix all issues that were in #153. And maybe actually PM rooms before putting guests in them and then receiving a bad review. Mandy S.

Lets start off with the good (we left) unfortunately we had to stay the night due to area sold out. Black mold in shower and base of toilet, nasty ring in toilet, blood in microwave, stove top not cleaned, bug in sink, bed was like a wash board and sheets didn't fit. Curtains looked as they were a wrinkled sheet and coming down. We had cooking facilities but no utensils or dishes and 1 pot. Carpet fraying all over the place, a couple of carpet seams coming apart ,gum on carpet. I don't think that room had seen a vacuum in quite awhile.3" gap under door, this is the desert and easily accessible to snakes or scorpions, Walls were so thin you could hear people walk on the side walk by our windows Have tons of photos and would like BW Owner to contact us.

We always stay with the BW in there suites love the breakfast, rooms, service is always fabulous, we've been staying with this BW location since 2016 and have never had any issues, we love the pool the happy hour by the pool is great, this hotel is in a great location to shops, food and outside adventures for the entire family we highly recommend this BW!! Keep up the great work guys and we will see you soon.

kicked the hell out of what some hotels consider a jacuzzi room, It was an actual Jacuzzi in the room not just a bathtub with a jet in it. Nice. The breakfast was a little lacking from how i remember it, but cant blame them, covid messed a lot of good things up. The room was spacious and nice though if i have to really knitpick I would say the ground around the jacuzzi was a bit tattered and in need of repair. I enjoyed myself.

Hotel was very decent on the outside and the inside decor is okay too. Our reservation was for 3 people. Our room had 2 bath towels and 1 wash rag. There was a huge gap between the bottom and bottom-righ side of the door. We put our jackets along the door to cover the gap. Breakfast was okay, considering the COVID precautions. There was a very large wet spot smack dab in the middle of the walk way. Other guests two doors down were having a ping pong match in their room and all down the walk way. Totally rude, but we just watched tv and ignored them.

A pretty ordinary motel on the edge of the expansive regional shopping mall. So you won't be shorted on restaurants or major retail. Traffic can get pretty busy and rooms can get expensive because lots of travelers visit Yuma to take advantage of lower cost medical services just over the border. And this is a big military town with government associated expense accounts for food and lodging. So I wouldn't overpay for what you're going to get here. My room was so-so. Water pressure in the bath sink was almost non-existent. And there was no plug for the shower/tub. My bedding was OK. I stayed 2 nights but there was no normal housekeeping. So i secured extra towels and toiletries from the front desk. There was a morning grab and go type breakfast. It included a hot sandwich or burrito. I did have a problem with the noise in the next room which the office insisted was vacant. It wasn't. One of the later shift workers was using it as a day room. Though the parking area seemed able to accommodate enough cars, it could be a little camped for larger vehicles.

My room was next to the storage room, where it turned out to be the laundry room for the hotel. Every morning around 8 am the staff will come and do laundry and the washer and dryer moved the bed in an annoying way that you cannot sleep also the cleaning staff dragged those carts through the hallway that wakes everyone up. Very annoying stayed

We arrived in Yuma went to check into this hotel pulled up to the front desk got our key went to our room was there maybe 10 mins and that was to long. The door did not seal at the bottom due to it being kicked in. So if you don't mind a natural night light from the amount of light that came in through the crack your in good shape. So if you can move past that let's talk about the bed that sank when we set down (yes we sat down to think about how do we get out of this mess) the stains on the mattress was unidentifiable (enough said) We quickly went to the front desk asking for a refund she said sure. She didn't ask what was wrong can I do anything she acted like this happened a lot. DO NOT BOOK

This hotel was nasty. Dark and dingy room with eye scorching lights. Room smelled smoky and mildewed. Sheets were scratchy and tucked in too short and the pillows were hard. The cabinet where the refrigerator went looked like a dog had chewed it up. Not a pleasant stay especially for 170 something dollars. I'm not really picky as long as it's clean, but this was just a rip off.

We come down to see our kids in Yuma as we live in Glendale, AZ. convenience to mall is great. I did notice alot of businesses have closed there that I used to enjoy, I think due to the virus' hit on the economy. Of course we would stay again in future because our kids like the location

Bathroom door had poop on it, food crumbs everywhere. I called front desk they gave me a new room. When leaving the 1st room a lady was at the door I guess to clean the poop all she had was a rag no cleaning supplies. She didn't change pillow cases or any of the bedding that we had already laid on. With Covid going on you would think the would clean extra good but I guess not. I will never stay at there again. I wish I could give a zero!

I stayed weekend of 1/8th.i was told I could upgrade to a suite for $20 more(apparentlyby newemployee-their excuse). After going back and forth, they honor it. At checkin, I was told I would get discount on bill because only some channels were working(thatnight NO channelswere working); called the 14th, "ok will do it"(the adjustment for discount) Called 20th, s/w anais who said supervisor step out n will call me back;nothing. called today, 25th and Anais answered. Then sw Alexis(supervisor)who said she never got message. Finally adjusted my reservation. Did refund and email me receipt. But I kept following up on it!!! I've stayed at other best westerns and NEVER had any bad experience. I've always loved their hot breakfast.

My brother and I wanted to meet in Yuma - 1/2 way from each other - (San Diego and Phx) to watch the Bills playoff game together. He had a standard king room and was satisfied. I had the jacuzzi tub king and LOVED it! The view was super pretty - mountains, desert and palms. Very relaxing. The breakfast was not that special but the coffee was great. Very clean. Very Covid proactive. Very nice staff. Great experience. Going back in Feb if the Bills go to the Superbowl!!

Next worst thing to a Motel 6 room. I traveled with my daughter and was looking for a decent, cleaned room to stay. By far the pictures online do NOT resemble the room I got. This was old and dirty. Drywall patches around the room. Restroom was outdated and dirty. I did not want to shower because the tub looked so dirty I felt uncomfortable. For the price I paid, I should paid half the price and stayed at Motel 6. Will definitely not come back to this place. PS the only good thing about the night was the nice lady at the reception area, great attitude and very friendly.

This was ine of the worst place to stay, had torn carpet, exsposed nails in the carpet. Interent didn't work Requested room service, and never happended Had holes in bathroom walls, load noises outside

Plumbing doesn't work, sleeping on the floor is softer than the mattress. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at and I've stayed at hundreds. Shower is cold water only, toilet doesn't flush. The noise is unbearable , furnishings are tired like the whole property. I'd like My money back will never stay at a Best Western again.

I was stuck in a room with holes in the walls, a broken shower head, tattered and frayed towels, wallpaper falling off the walls, all while a giant party was allowed to continue in the hotel. The attendees of this party were harassing all passing guests and threatening them with exposure to covid-19. When the front desk was informed, they did nothing about any of this at all. They just do not seem to care once they know they have your money

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE! BUYER BEWARE-DO NOT RISK BOOKING ON THEIR FAULTY ONLINE WEBSITE!! I booked two rooms on their website on 11-23-20 for a Thanksgiving weekend stay. On November 24th, I cancelled both of the rooms on their website. This hotel charged me a no show fee for one room!! We did not receive an email confirmation for the cancellation of either room but we obtained cancellation numbers online from their website when the reservations were cancelled. They tell me this is insufficient and they are asking for us to provide them with a copy of the email they sent to us to show it was cancelled. PROBLEM IS... they never sent an email!!! They are unable to provide a copy of the email that they supposedly sent us for the room they did cancel nor can they give us the email address it was sent from so that we could search our junk mail. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! DO NOT RISK BOOKING AT THIS HOTEL!

Best value for the money. Clean facilities, courteous and helpful staff, close to Old Town, Prison and other shopping and restaurant areas. The breakfast buffet was limited due to Covid but very good and plentiful.

This location is good but the beds are not so comfortable I really couldn't get any sleep I felt that the bed was too worn out and the comforter was not helping too it was too thin and it kind of got cold at night

Everything from the hotel staff, including “maids” were amazing The room is very clean and with nice decor. The pool is clean and the Restaurant/Lounge is located in the pool area with plenty of sitting space in and around the pool. It's centrally located to food, shopping and the freeway.

Filthy carpet, stained comforter (hopefully stains, could have been actual dirt), dirt in every corner, gross yellow stuff on the ceiling in the bathroom with 2 hairs stuck to it, dusty, towels were small and felt like sand paper. In bathroom light fixtures have holes to see wires and shower head not attached to the wall. Decor was hilarious... slapped on wallpaper & slapped on paint like my 12 year olds did it. Old furniture that needed to at least be restrained. Very loud a/c and road next to the window. VERY small room. My friends who stayed the same weekend... one had a huge bug in her room and two others smelled like smoke.

Good rooms and nice staff. Although we usually stay ay Best Western in Yuma. The cleanliness and sanitation guarantee was reassuring. Note: Don't expect the great pre-covid breakfast here for now. Just grab and go bags until this is over.

This hotel has a feel of a Resort. The rooms are spread out on the campus and very convenient to pull up outside your room with your vehicle. Staff went out of their way to put me by the pool which I wanted for my stay.

I think its time to put the property out of its misery. Our room was not very good, it smelled like mold and mildew, the walk in shower was an accident waiting to happen water runs out of it and all over the bathroom floor making it very unsafe for any one much less a person with a handicap. The carpet is incredibly dirty, the parking lot was full of trash and vomit from all of the drunk people that seem to be using the property. We visit Yuma often and this was our go to hotel because its very pet friendly but we cant overlook all of the issues, they also charge just as much as other newer properties in the area.

Active drug use and noise the entire night. Neighbors room actually broke a window at 3am. Couldn't see the bottom of the pool it was so dirty. Room was not terrible, but there are better options in the vicinity. I will not be staying at this property again.

we accidentally locked ourselves out of the room about 8:30 or so. we went to the front desk, office is CLOSED, and lights are off. so i banged on the door, no answer. i walked around looking for a security guard, nothing. finally after maybe 15 minutes the night clerk comes back explaining she was out helping a guest. well, ok, i ask, but what about putting up a note on the door "BACK IN A MOMENT!" or something obvious like that? hmmm she had not thought of doing that. interesting! shouldnt that be some sort of policy? we have stayed there multiple times before, but this will be the last.

This hotel is a DUMP. Had to wait for check in due to drunk customer that was arguing with the clerk as well as fighting with his girlfriend. Staff said or did nothing to correct the situation. Had leak coming from exhaust vent over toilet, water would not drain in bath sink. toilet water would explode out of bowl when flushed. Had to change rooms. Came back to room after work on first night and found no cleaning had been done, Contacted desk and was told that no service is provided on multiple might stays unless requested. Never told this when checking in. Requested service for next day. Returned late afternoon next day and nothing done. Contacted desk and was told they would only clean 1 time for a week stay. After confrontation, they sent a maid to room. Only made bed, exchanged towels and emptied trash. TV channel selections very poor. I asked the girl attending the PJ Cafe area if this is where to we get breakfast, She was watching the TV on the wall and never looked at me or acknowledged me. She only pointed to the corner. Breakfast is now a grab and go selection but the item they called a breakfast sandwich was ridiculous. A small mushy biscuit with some plastic cheese and a spoonful of egg. The overall appearance of the grounds is disgusting. Dirty, trashy and in need of repair. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

We have been coming to this Best Western for a few years now and the rooms have always been so so, but the staff is always friendly and we have always known what to expect. Well this time may have been the last time we ever stay here again. In the middle of a pandemic, they sure make a lot of claims for safety but we saw numerous staff walking in and out of the front desk area without masks on while we were checking in. First sign we should have left right then. Then the person at the front desk was rude and extremely short with my husband. It was frustrating but it was late so we just went straight to our room. Once in the room we found there was no phone at all! The second night the tv stopped getting a signal, no big deal I'll just call the front desk... oh wait, NO PHONE. Whatever, I'll use my cell phone, what a pain in the ass to actually get to the front desk. When I finally get to someone at the actual property front desk, I advise I don't have a phone in my room and the tv is not working. I get a "I'll have maintenance come take a look" and that's it. No apology for the inconvenience, or “oh I'm so sorry your room is lacking a phone”, NOTHING! Maintenance comes and to our surprise, walks in our room without a face mask! He has to come back with another maintenance man and I figure, if my son (4 years old) and I wear our masks, maybe they will put theirs on. NOPE Just preceded to reset the tv and stand there while we are sitting wearing our masks. Then of course there was that fact that a light didn't work, the jet tub didn't work, the fridge barely kept a bottle of water cool, there was trash under the bed, the property itself was nasty with trash all over and to top it all off, every single way we had to get to our room was through a smoking section. That alone wouldn't normally be a deal breaker but on top of everything else, I'm over this place. I will say that the staff in the breakfast and bar area are wonderful, the breakfast they serve is actually quite good and we love having the pool right there but unfortunately, the front desk staff and the room quality are the worst. I think we will try another hotel of this price range in the area next time, there are plenty.

Mandatory “refundable” deposit of $50 at check in - not on website. Mandatory $20 pet fee - non refundable - also not on website. Grounds were filthy with beer bottles, cig butts, trash, over flowing trash cans. Air conditioning isn't working correctly. Carpet peeling up near entry door. Desk clerk was friendly enough until I challenged him on fees, then not so nice claiming “corporate policy”. 1st time I have stayed at a Best Western in years. W no ill be the absolute last.

My husband and I have been coming here as part of our “date night” for several years. I splurge and have us stay in one of the Presidential Suites. Overall, my previous experiences have been pretty good here. That ended when I walked into this room. For the same price, it is half the size of the other Presidential Suites and certainly not as maintained. A couple of lamps didn't work, as well as the phone I tried to use to call the front desk. The roll of tp had to be left on the counter or ground, due to the lack of a dispenser. I found a half full bottle of Jone's soda on the ground, beside the couch- which was surprising since the hotels have emphasized thorough cleaning to help prevent the spread of COVID 19. I certainly did not get the suite I had thought I'd paid for, and I'm hesitant to come back just in case I'm given the same sorry excuse for a Presidential Suite. The risk isn't worth it. Definitely a rip off when compared to at least two other suites of the same category.

We enjoyed our stay. Just my mistake that I hadn't chosen the correct room and I had planned a nice rest and relaxation for my hubby that works so hard for an agency. We have stayed here many times and always get the kitchenette so I figured we were going to be able to stay in one and when we entered the room it was just a single room with a bed.

Front desk EXTREMELY rude when asked questions and condescending. Plenty of other hotels in the same area to stay in at about the same price. Will not be returning to BW at Yuma location it's too bad because rooms were nice.

The rooms are spacious, but dark. Set up is a bit funky in a King Suite. Bathroom is near kitchen outside of bedroom, yet there is no sink in the bathroom. Must wash hands in kitchen sink. Due to Covid-19 most amenities were not open. Outdoor pool was and it is nice. Brown bag breakfast was weak with most of the items that were to be included were 'out'.

Door wouldn't let us out in the morning, toilet flooded constantly, no pull-out beds, noisy, and no phones in the room for emergencies. I would never stay at this particular Best Western again nor would I recommend it to anyone. My children were scared when we couldn't open the door in the morning. It took hotel staff to break the door open from the outside.

Coast to coast trip during the Covid19 situation - best hotel by far along the way. Staff and room were great - clean and comfortable. Everything was closed but that was out of their control - breakfast grab n go bag was fantastic !!! Highly recommend

The room was clean except something on the curtain, not sure what stain it was. The beds are comfortable but the bedding could be updated, comforter was okay, sheets and blankets seemed pretty thin. The shower head you couldn't turn so water sprayed all over the curtain. Bathroom was very small. I would say for a night stay it was good, but not for a long stay.

I checked into the hotel and was satisfied with the checkin process and helpfulness of the young gentleman at the desk. when I walked into the room I remember saying I didnt like the room, I showered and waited for my brother to bring my service animal he was watching. I had developed a headache and was nauseous and wanted to lay down. I had some food delivered in case that was the problem. it wasnt. nausea & headache continued. my brother showed up with my dog. I greeted them at the car, got my dog to walk inside.. he walked up to the threshold of the door and started cowering. & refused to go inside, despite me giving commands and offering treats. that alone was enough to pack my stuff.while loading my vehicle and stopping to chat outside with my brother, I realized my nausea and headache had eased up. upon packing and going up to the front desk,( new shift btw). I informed the desk of my (and my dogs) experience. no room change was offered, he said there wasnt anything he could do. so I checked out right then and found a place that didnt literally make me sick by staying there.

The free breakfast is great. The happy hour is not always on time. We stayed in two different suites in this hotel. The rooms need some serious attention and updating. They seem to have a bit of a mouse problem. On this particular visit we had a mouse trap under our bed. On a visit in 12/2019 we actually saw a mouse in our room and mouse turds on our bedding.

Love this location! The beds are super comfortable and the staff is exceptional! The room was spotless and everything was in great working order! We love staying at Best Westerns overall but the Yuma location is definitely our favorite!!

I got 2 suites , rooms 264 and 265 room 264 should never be given to anyone until its had a full makeover the hotel is old but for the price its ok,the breakfast was good comes with the price of the room plus its a good location close to the mall and many restaurants. when we arrived it was after 4pm one room wasn't ready had to wait for over an hour to get into that room

Besides hosing up our bill, there were used condoms in the parking lot, the beds were so bad, they needed to be replaced 2 years ago, that they sunk to the floor when you laid in them and the "newly" remodeled room left a lot to be desired. On the plus side at least ...I don't think...we brought any bedbugs home. We were charged $179.52 which included a $20 per fee. IMHO they shouldn't charge more than $79.82 for the rooms. Do yourself a favor...stay somewhere else.

Our stay was comfortable, with clean room and shuttle worked out prefect for us. Since my husband can't drive, vision disability. I had dental services in Los Algodones and we used shuttle when I was medicated. Also drove to Indian reservation parking lot to park and walk across border. All was very conveniently close.

I got a great deal on this hotel (90$). And in addition to a clean and comfortable room, great WiFi, great television and great breakfast THEY OFFER FREE RIDES TO AND FROM THE BORDER AND TO THE AIRPORT AS WELL. They also offer better rates if you let them know you are having dental work in Los Algodones. This doesn't seem well advertised. The border is about 12 miles away so this is quite a savings over a taxi. (I was quoted $20 by a taxi driver for a one way trip). The breakfast is complete with eggs made fresh in addition to the usual things at a hotel breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Had to stop on our way to our final destination, it's really very convenient to get to and close to shopping and restaurants and even though it's outdated the price is fair if you just need to pull off to rest.

Breakfast and happy hour was very good. Outside of building and bathroom were very old and not good condition. We came to town with a group of 45 friends for The Field to Feast Tour. The local Visitors bureau found the hotel for us.

This property has it all. Something for everyone in breakfast items and fresh baked yummy cookies in the afternoon. As business travel I look for comfort, clean and professional. Although i travel with my own pillows, this property has nice ones as well. The rooms are clean and comfy. There are plenty of assessible outlets for my electronics. It's close to the mall, stores, and places to eat. I will be back. Staff is awesome.

- Front Clerks changed prices as we drove in to Yuma. - Front clerk refused to honour original price quoted on phone by desk receptio - Room was in a poor state including a tub with pubic hairs, not able to drain after we tried washing it but drain area and drain assembly were defective. Could not shower and definitely not sit in tub because of filth - furniture in suite was scuffed up and damaged : ffice chair near desk was stained with brown - called night clerk about room be he disegarded insuite phones and private calls to hotel. Went to front lobby to see what was up and saw clerk hiding in a back office office front desk -carpets were dirty - complained in morning about night clerk and room defects but front desk clerk just said "oh that's to bad". -Taps on sink were wobbly - I would rate this establishment 1 star but the morning continental breakfast was a three star. It is definitely a low end two star that should be skipped. I travel through 13 nights of assorted hotels and I can say safely, this place was a low point of cleanliness and customer service. It was so bad , I may skip this chain permanently.

We usually stay at this hotel when in Yuma on the way to Los Algadonas. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are comfortable. The free happy hour is very nice. The breakfast is usually good, however, the hash instead of sausage or bacon is not good. If this could be corrected I would give it 5 stars.

Teenagers running up and down the corridors, yelling, banging on doors, laughing overly loudly, singing, shouting the length of the buildings, bouncing balls, jumping on the floors above, etc., continued until 11 p.m. Calls to the desk did nothing. Absolutely worst night I've ever spent in a hotel. This group should have been put up in a separate building apart from adult patrons. Room was adequate though dark colored, amenities were nice, breakfast was exceptional compared to most hotels.

We stayed for 2 nights and will never return. The service from the front desk and housekeeping staff was indifferent at best. The room was either freezing cold from the ac or stuffy and humid. The bathtub drain did not work and was not repaired during our stay. The toilet bowl rim was filthy. Housekeeping did not replace the toiletries. The room was not made up until after 4pm. The rooms are very noisy from the suitcases being rolled by on the sidewalk outside the door. The bath towels are too small and thin. The breakfast area is inaccessible except by stairs, no barrier free here! The breakfast was fine for what it was, however the burrito filling looked like barf in a pan. There was only one hot choice. The coffee tasted horrible, they must never clean the machine. The coffee at the front desk was much better.

Check in was slow,the room was very comfortable and clean.The breakfast was very good,with a great selection .The pool area was great,free cocktails at happy hour.The Hotel location was great ,ver y close to restaurants and shopping.

I wanted to like this place more than I did. I loved the comfy bed, the nice tv, the pool area, and the restaurant. I didn't like the paper thin walls, the musty cigarette smell around the grounds, and the fact that I found the hair dryer in the closet long after I had needed it (there was an empty cupboard in the bathroom, curious why the hair dryer was in a closet???).

In the shower, there is no water pressure st all and there was no hot water to speak of. The bathroom is not even in the bedroom -you have to walk out and into the kitchen. I only stayed here as it was a business trip and even with that - I had to pay a few dollars out of my own pocket, as they wouldn't accept it.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. It's proximity to restaurants and shopping was excellent. The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. We attended the manager's special and had a good breakfast.

This old hotel has painted its rooms more than once. The ceilings showed poor connections between panels that were painted over. The microwave and refrigerator didn't work. Our second night, after sightseeing all day, was not our best experience. The beverages in the refrigerator were not cold and we couldn't cook food in the microwave. The drawer handle on the dresser had one broken screw that made it awkward to open the drawer. The sink was partially blocked and took some time to drain. One of he beds squeaked.

The Best Western Yuma Mall was out of washcloths. We asked for some and they said they did not have any available. The pool was dirty and the hot tub was filthy and smelled like mold. This was always our choice of hotels in Yuma but I think we need to look for a new place to stay.

The Hotel is conveniently Located next to the shopping center in case you need anything just walk over, is very clean the beds are comfortable, the bathtub needs little TLC but overall is a good place to stay, with 2 complementary drinks during the evening and complementary breakfast as well, I will definitely be staying in this Hotel again.

The quality of the room and unexpected breakfast was excellent. The housekeeping staff saved my behind after being stuck in the desert and unable to pack my checkout. Very kind and considerate staff all around.

The Hotel itself is very nice. It's layout makes for lots of peaceful areas outside to enjoy some quiet. The room was extremely comfortable.Customer service was stellar. The manager of this hotel is 5 star. She went above and beyond for us during our 7 day stay.

We make a trip to Yuma to visit friends, since the hotel is pet friendly we chose it. It is a large complex with adjoining walkways. Once you get the layout it is easy to get around and plenty of places to walk the dog. Very friendly staff quick booking in and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, only problem was the fan on the heat/cooling system ran all night even after pushing the stop/off button. would stay here again

Situated in an excellent location between Interstate 8 and the large Yuma mall . You can literally walk over to the mall from the hotel which we did after breakfast! Highly recommend!!! Just a delightful experience!!

We stayed there because it wasn't really in the city. At first, I thought the area looked shady but it turned out to be great! I slept so good, no noise, very quiet, great bed, nice fluffy pillows, nice TV and COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST! The price was great. I liked staying here more than at the Courtyard hotel, which was more expensive but suckier:(

Upstairs, downstairs all around the town! Unique sections to this hotel, you must park near your section and lug your luggage upstairs and wander around until you find your room. Go back downstairs and along the walkway and down more stairs to the courtyard, restaurants and laundry. Looks nice but after a long day it's not convenient. We were nicely upgraded to a suite but the bathroom had no sink - it's sink was out the door, down the hall, thru the living room and into the bedroom. The bathroom door would not open all the way because it hit the toilet...strange. The TV in the living room did not work but maintenance came and hooked it back up but they had no tape so the wire just fell off again. Very quiet location with mall and restaurants very close but because of the layout and fences you had to drive everywhere. Nice touch with a free drink at social hour down the stairs and along the hall and down more stairs to the courtyard restaurant. Met some very nice people while there. Back up the stairs, down the hall up more stairs and down the hall around the corner to bed because you were tired of walking! I had to give directions to numerous guests who looked as confused as I first did. Comfortable bed and up early for breakfast back down the hall, down the stairs, along the hall and back down more stairs to the courtyard. Was unique for sure - glad I wasn't packing groceries!

Nice place to stay and convenient. The bar has an happy hour and 2 commentary drinks per nihht. The breakfast buffet is surprisingly good also.The hotel is a little old but the upkeep has been good. Worth the price.

While staying here I changed my river reservation and added one day. The clerk gave me a new set of keys that included my extra day. I am handicapped I find walking very difficult and I was at the far end of the hotel. On the third day my keys didn't work. I had no help. I've had to walk all the way to the front end of the hotel to get my keys reprogrammed. No one had any sympathy. No one even said I'm sorry you had to walk such a far away. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who is handicapped

awesome hotel in the middle of everything you could need, pleasant staff and great food. great amenities, friendly faces. room is comfortable and beautiful enough to stay in but perfectly located should you want to have a night out on the town

It's a motel, not a hotel. It was probably top notch in the 80' & 90's, but very crowded and sketchy parking lot (unsafe feeling from the start) and very cramped property layout. The cat next door sadly meowed every time it's owner left and was annoying. The breakfast staff don't understand what a private conversation between themselves is. I will never go back.

So the grounds of this hotel are quite nice, but the rooms are very hit or miss. The hotel advertises itself as "all suite", but in no way is it "all suite" - not by any definition. and the rooms that are "regular" are really bad, especially for the price they ask. We were put in one room and had to move because of bugs, then the second room was way worse - there were bugs everywhere (flying bugs, so not really the hotels fault, but really gross) - probably because the doors did not close properly and there were gaps in the door frame. the beds in both of the rooms they tried to put us in were SO OLD, I have stayed in dive motels with better beds. they sagged so much in the middle that just looking at them let you know that you were not going to sleep well there and when you tried sitting on them you confirmed that it would be better to sleep on the floor (with the bugs). the furniture in one of the rooms was broken to such a degree that it looked like there had been a fight or something in that room. finally after two tries at the "regular" rooms, they moved us to a suite, which was much better - very nice, beautiful bathroom, better beds (still clearly old, soft and saggy, but better and fine for sleeping). But those rooms are normally pricey and I would NOT pay more for the suites, as they are not really super nice - the furniture is tired (the couch looked like it was twenty years old and well used for all those years), the lighting is poor (no desk lighting at all) there are rat traps outside all the rooms (again, probably just a factor of where they are located, but still gross) the grounds are beautiful and the staff are really helpful - although there was only one person working, so it took over an hour to find us a room we could sleep in (I have NEVER had to change rooms in a hotel before, but there was no way we could sleep in the first two rooms they offered us), the staff were polite and so nice. This hotel has done an excellent job of hiring amazingly great people, so that's a plus. the breakfast room is nice and the people working there are super friendly. the food is good, possibly better than most free buffets. but the rooms are the reason you stay at a hotel and there are clear problems here - just make sure if you stay here that you get a super good rate and check your room to make sure it is one of the better ones before you agree to stay. I don't feel like this hotel is worth what they are charging, especially with lots of brand new hotels nearby - including the other Best Western just ten minutes away (stayed there a previous trip and it is awesome and cheaper, but far from the main area of town). shout out to the amazing staff - thanks for trying so hard to help us. sorry the rooms are in such poor shape and we made you work so hard....

Better than nothing. Room were not comfortable. Pillows were too big. Hurt my neck. Tv was nice. Near mall. Lots of restaurants. Breakfast is free. Small dining area. Go see a movie near by. Walk it. Seemed safe to walk in the area.

Good location, next to mall with restaurants and theaters. Room was very clean and good comfortable mattress. Enjoyed the free drinks and breakfast was adequate. Good location if you are passing through on I-10 or planning a trip to Mexico.

You never know what you're really going to get when you book a room... is the hotel safe... staff friendly... will it have the amenities needed or preferred,.. and will the room be CLEAN! I travel for a living and know that anytime I'm going to Yuma, ONLY the Best Western (Mall) will I stay. The staff are amazing and the location is centrally located to food, shopping, entertainment, and the fwy. This location exceeds my expectations EVERY TIME! It's clean, well cared for, and appreciate when I'm considered for a free upgrade. THANK YOU for being my home away from home.

We checked in to this hotel using a free night coupon from Best Western. It is conveniently located and has a great shuttle service to Los Algadones where we were headed to get dental work done. Rooms were nice and clean and the Beds have been updated so were very comfortable. The room decor needs to be updated. Very old tired carpets. We also had problems with the TV. Hard to figure out and no instructions in the room.They do have a great included hot breakfast and happy hour late afternoon complimentary

We always stay at Best Western Hotels and this was our 1st time in Yuma. The Front Counter Staff was Excellent! So Friendly and helpful.. made me feel so welcomed.. Had 2 Rooms and they had great decor and were spacious. Only problem was one room's microwave didn't work and the carpet smell liked it had just been shampooed and it didn't dry out. Other than that nice Hotel.. No elevator so if you can't climb stairs request bottom floor. I had my elderly parents and they were so accommodating by giving us 1st Floor and together. Place is so close to great shopping and restaurants..

Sorry to say...not our best experience at Best Western. This hotel is in a great location in Yuma, within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Studio king was nicely configured and spacious however cleanliness was shoddy and odor was unpleasant. Ice machine near our room did not work and plug-in on bed side lamp was non functional. On the plus side, happy hour beverages and breakfast were both good.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked an extra day! The room was lovely. Pool was quiet. Happy hour reception was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast as tasty. Staff pleasant and helpful. Place was clean and obviously well looked after.

The front desk staff at registration was polite and professional. My husband and I were a late arrival and tired from the travel and ready to check into our room and find a nearby restaurant for dinner. All went well, however I was told we were needing to pay an additional $50.00 as a room deposit which would be refundable. Then I was told to review the displayed sign, which stated an additional 10% or 15% room deposit would be assessed, however it would be refundable. Since the room rate was less than $100.00, the $50.00 additional room deposit was actually a little more than 50% of the room rate, not the 10% or 15% as the displayed sign indicated. The staff indicated it would be refundable and with some hesitancy I authorized the charge to my bank. Upon further questioning the staff indicated the additional deposit was for incidentals, however there were no incidentals available. This review is being written prior to the 10 to 14 day wait to receive my refund, so the rest of the story remains to be told. The staff, the service, and room were all of high quality, but the additional deposit above the room rate is baffling. I just caution, buyer beware - be prepared for an additional fee of a room deposit and hopefully in our case, we will eventually receive our refund.

Having stayed at this property many times over the last 6 years, in spite of "remodel" , I have seen a steady decline in the property. The job obviously went to the low bid and many things were left in place by ownership to save money. The room I had a non working sink drain, with rust showing at the drain. The tub had poor coverage of damaged porcelin. The wall coverings showed major overlaps of material and Staples holding some in place behind the tv, not to mention the corners where the covering was coming loose. Then there was the black out curtain that was a real hassle to close. OK, so I go to the "hospitality" time and find they offered chips with no salsa, onlly light beers on tap and only a white Riesling and Merlot for wines. WOW, I was stunned and will not go back there again!!!

Great location. Next to the Yuma mall and various restrauants. When we arrived our room was not yet available so the agent upgraded us to a king suite for no extra charge. Which of course was very nice. However I have to say the room design was quite different then we had ever experienced. For the sink is in the bedroom while the rest of the bathroom is in the same vacinity as the kitchen. To us this was extremely weird. The kitchen is not equipped with any utensils so be sure to BYO. The breakfast was also very disappointing.

This Best Western is amazing. From the time that you check-in, where they had warm cookies fresh from the oven and bottles of water, all the way to the express check out the experience was better than I ever imagined. I thought I was booking a room to stay just to have someplace to sleep but I was wowed with the entire stay. This included the coziness of the bed, the room, the social hour in the lounge, and the friendliness of the staff. Whenever I stay in Yuma this will be the place I stay.

The hotel was clean, convenient to bars and restaurants, and had a very friendly and helpful staff. the large King size bed was very comfortable, and the room had a mini-wet bar with a fridge. Room was very quiet and easy to sleep in.

If you're looking for helpful friendly staff, In a quiet clean hotel then forget about this one I arrived late Sunday evening the receptionist barely made eye contact she was very tart and curt, I told her that I wanted a quiet place so she obviously thought putting me by the freeway with the lovely sounds of jackhammer in the morning plus every 18 wheeler that came up the freeway seem to make a pitstop in the car park outside my room was being helpful ,ohh she might've thought the garbage can outside my room would act as an alarm also she gave me a map that wasn't very well laid out she scribbled over my room so it was very hard to decipher exactly the number at 11 o'clock at night in a very spooky landscape I was left to find my room I eventually found it It was OK but it definitely not what was in the photos it was one of the noisiest places I've stayed in and I definitely would not recommend it Next day I went up to reception to ask for shuttle service and was again greeted by another receptionist in the same non-friendly Kurt tone and was told that was on that they were on the hour and I had missed it when I went outside the shuttle van was there !! I decided that I would finish off my dental work over the border and then check out the next day which I did and went to the Radisson hotel which is where I should've just gone first I'd been there last year and had an absolutely great experience I am here now I'm very happy!

The people at this location went out of their way to make sure my stay was fantastic. It's a great location for shopping, and the shuttle service they offer can get you to the historic downtown for fantastic meals and socializing with the locals.

The staff are all extremely friendly, the rooms clean, and the breakfast buffet is better than most. I was travelling alone on business and felt very comfortable there. There is a microwave and refrigerater in the room as well.

We enjoyed our roomy kitchenette suite. We also enjoyed the grounds; lots of opportunities for shade and relation. Had a problem that was totally our fault but staff resolved it quickly at no cost to us. So service is both excellent and generous. Housekeeping also quickly responded to a request.

On a whim decides to go relax at a local hotel w/pool and spa. Location was great right off major highway close to mall and restaurants. Pool area was great lots of room and great pool and jacuzzi. Great happy hour which was located close to pool area and very convenient. Breakfast was a nice addition with hot and cold offerings available

Previous stays were remarkable. The rooms, grounds, pool etc were sparkling. Now everything looks very worn and faded. The pool looked cloudy and the tables at the restaurant were worn and shaky. While our room was generally clean the hot water leaked in the vanity and the carpet was quite dirty.

Prearranged room not ready upon check-in. Had to wait almost an hour for room to get cleaned. No elevator at property and many stairs throughout. Please note if you have mobility issues. Mattress very firm, which is good or bad depending on your liking. Now the good...my suite was absolutely beautiful! Decor amazing and looked like a fancy apartment. Very clean- both the suite and the property are clean throughout. Breakfast was amazing. A large variety of choices and everything tasted great! The hotel manager did everything in his power to make sure my issues were addressed and managed as best as possible.

Best western Yuma is the best hotel in town for the money, definitely the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. I would definitely recommend the best western to anyone traveling to Yuma. Definitely the next time you're in Yuma,Arizona give this hotel a chance.

Arrived and was assigned a room on the 3rd floor. I asked where the elevators were and was told there were no elevators. I didn't want to have carry suitcases up 3 flights of stairs so I ask for a ground level room or at least 2nd floor. I was told there were none although the parking lot was empty. Finally he said he had only one left on the 1st floor so I got it. Walked in and the smoke odor was overwhelming. The toilet was unlevel and the room had missing baseboards and carpet was nasty. Checked out the next morning. Won't be staying at this place ever again.

We booked a two night stay and when we arrived we were told they upgraded our room to an executive suite. We are gold members and “guests of the day.” Wow! We got a beautiful extra large suite complete with king size bed, a nice bathroom and separate ultra modern tub. Two tv's, full refrigerator, small stove and more, clothes closet, microwave, sofa and chairs. The only thing that was a pain was two flights of stairs to get to our room. Good exercise though lugging your luggage. A breakfast is included and served in a very small separate cafe. In the evening the cafe serves beer, wine or soda (2 per person for free). Supposedly they serve food (someone ordered fish while we were there) but there were no menus. Lots of things inside our room that were not right. A loose shower control knob, a loose toilet paper holder, a loose shower door handle, an entry door to our room that needed weather stripping very badly, and a small carpet tack that hurt my bare foot when I stepped on it a couple of times. I told the desk lady about all these things and she said she would have maintenance take care of them. So all these issues detracted from a completely satisfying stay here. If we ever come back we would try this motel again.

I have had great experiences with this chain so I didn't hesitate to book when planning a trip to Yuma to float down the Colorado River. We arrived at the hotel at about 6pm. Looked at the room, the Presidential Suite, and though it had a bad smell, we decided to give the place a chance have drinks at the happy hour. When we got to area, the girl working was awful. She was complaining that they were out of drinks on the written menu, that she was was tired that guests kept asking for free well drinks, made fun of my partner for ordering a lady drink (vodka cranberry) and appeared to be stressed out. She ended up giving us the well drink, but with a lot of drama. We took our drinks outside, looked at the pool, and decided this wasn't the place for us. We brought our bags back to the car and checked out. I am not sure if I will be charged (she said I wouldn't) but will update my review if I have problems with a refund. I would avoid. The place in general looks like a tweaker hotel, the place needs maintenance (chipped tiles and tired looking) has a small pool and just isn't worth the price. We stayed at the Radisson and loved it.

After our many overnights in Yuma, AZ this was our first and last ever stay at any Best Western. We stayed at a BW 20 years ago and thought they may have improved but we were wrong. The receptionist would have been happier anywhere else. We asked for an easy access room, instead we were given a room that could not have been farther from the parking lot-even tho the asst. suggested a closer room but he was given the stink eye so he shut up. The entire property is multilevel requiring at least two flights of steps, many rooms require 3 flights of steps. The mattress and curtains were stained, floor trim was off the wall, wall paper was peeling, literally 3 tissues in the bathroom tissue box but it was made to appear full. The pix don't properly show how bad this was no more Best Western anywhere!

Very nice hotel for a best western however very expensive for two nights almost four hundred dollars however it was labor day weekend and dove hunting season.. Pool was okay. Happy hour was awesome.. breakfast was not good at all.

The manager (s) must be ashamed of their jobs as you couldn't tell a manager from other staff. Wait staff rubbing their fingers and hand's through hair then grabbing food to deliver. I could see into kitchen and no hand washing. Also wiping hands on pants. No gloves warn by wait staff. I ask for a knife to cut the veggies. I was told they only had a butter knife. I gave up on the El concrete veggies. I also was told coffee was not served. Dinner for 2 $45.00 a rip off.

It's near many restaurants and stores; nice secured environment and great service, a recommended stay in my honest and genuine opinion. Fast internet, clean room, clean walkways and nice pool. Can't wait to stay here again in the near future.

I cant say enough about the staff at the Yuma AZ Best Western. They are awesome!! The rooms are very nice and clean. Attention to detail is very noticeable. Will definitely be staying again when I'm in Yuma.

For a Best Western This place is awesome. We are Best Western members. We stayed at them our whole trip. This one is off the charts. Front desk service was great. 15 minutes after we checked in, we got a call is every thing O.K. with your room? I said it's wonderful. I called the front desk and asked for more coffee. The lady who checked us in was there with more coffee packetts the door in minutes. They have three pet areas. A great pool. Oh yes one free drink for each guest at the bar and grill next to the pool. They only take room charges at the bar and grill. That way no riff raff gets to come in. I like that. Super clean and pet friendly. Highly Recommended. Nice then more exspensive place's I have stayed.

Had the execuite presidential suite with jacuzzi, the staff failed to perform the room service duties and when I called the front desk to ask them what happened, I was told that the room service staff forgot as not many people stay in the presidential suites. I would stay away, as far away as possible.

The staff is always friendly and willing to accomidate their guests. The breakfast has many varities to choose from, the social hour is a nice way to relax. There is even a bbq if you choose to cook your own dinner

I would give zero stars to this hotel if I could. When a live guest is standing in front of you at check-in, staff should be trained not to answer the phone and take an entire reservation for 15 minutes while the live guest waits. Caller should have been placed on hold and live guest check-in completed, then returned to caller. I had animals in the car with the air conditioning on, and didn't anticipate check-in taking as long as it did in 105+ degree heat. Told the front desk agent I had dogs in the car, he didn't seem to care and began another conversation with another guest about the free cookies before completing my check-in. Hello, sense of urgency? Front desk staff extremely rude when I called in to see about early check-in, they said "absolutely not" due to some sort of military convention in town and housekeeping was "already overwhelmed". Staff at this hotel need major guest service training. My room was by the pool, people playing and shouting "Marco Polo" well past midnight. Saw Security by the pool, but nothing was done about the noise and the kids and people running around the pool screaming. Walls were so thin I could hear every word of the couple arguing and drunk next door to me, slamming their doors. I am local to Yuma and needed a hotel due to my house being treated with pest chemicals, I needed to leave with my animals for 24 hours. I left this hotel at midnight to go home because I couldn't stand being at this hotel any longer. Horrible experience, would never recommend and I'd never go back.

First the down side book a down stairs room, no lift. On the plus side obliging staff free shuttle and the room was just dandy . Avoid the pool area if you can ,but otherwise just enjoy your stay at this fine establishment.

Very clean,comfortable,modern room. I was only here for 4 hours but had an amazing 4 hours of sleep. Breakfast was amazing. So many choices. Coffee was GREAT! I will definitely stay at this location again.

LOVE this place !!! Outstanding customer service, friendly & efficient. Spacious & spotless room. A/C w/digital thermostat kept it nicely cooled off which is a big plus in July. Two huge wall mounted flat screen TVs w/DirecTV programming. Free wifi w/great signal. Kitchenette area w/fridge/micro & stovetop. In-room coffee. Toilet & tub (w/whirlpool jets) in the front section, separate from sink & vanity in the bedroom. Slept well on super comfortable bed with nice linens. Generous supply of bright white towels. Chips & salsa at Happy Hour and continental was fab w/fresh tortillas & all the fixings to make breakfast burrito. Standard offerings as well including B&G, fresh fruit bagels yogurt cereal etc. The only issues I encountered were a dead remote (maintenance promptly replaced batteries) and I had to pull the king bed away from the wall to find an outlet to plug in the power strip I travel with to charge electronics. There was a desk lamp in front room w/outlet in it's base, but nothing bedside. That said, this place is always a fave. In fact, I debated driving further but opted to shut down here & start out refreshed in the morning. Already looking forward to my next stay :-D .

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Our only complaint was the breakfast. They had no eggs so whoever was in charge of supply madd an error. I'm sure it was a onetime issue. Other than that all was very nice. Thank you

Great place. Very clean. Fast service to check in and out... They have a very nice team. Very quiet place. Our room was beside the fitness room so that was a plus for me. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent pricing. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Clean pool. Nice they have a small pub onsite. Free breakfast was really good. Lots of options for the whole family. Need an additional waffle iron as people were fighting for use.

Room was nice. Arrived about 8 and went to a local restaurant, recommended by staff. Thought that the Best Western should create discounts with local restaurants that the staff like. Promote trades to attract extra business..

Stayed one night on a trip through AZ. Hotel was easy to find. Clean, quiet, AC worked great! Free parking and breakfast - and breakfast was a full choice with eggs, bacon, toast, bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit, etc... Room had a microwave and fridge which was nice and came in handy. Variety of TV channels. Staff was friendly. Didnt use the pool but it looked clean although small.

Some nice touches, but definitely a 3 star hotel. A nice 3 star, but 3 stars. Staff is very friendly. It is clean, safe and comfortable. A very nice breakfast. Free shuttle to the border if you are going to Mexico for dental work, etc. But it is older, and outside noise gets into the room easily. Our room was missing the liner for the ice bucket, which made using ice kind of iffy. The 2 queen beds were comfortable, but sagged a little toward the middle. There were some problems with the sink area, and the water in the toilet wouldn't shut off as we were leaving the room. Would we stay here again? Yes, and I guess that says it all.

Mandatory security deposit ? Door not secure, big gap in frame, TV did not work, was fixed by maintenance, big dust issue around fridge. Too thin and soft mattresses We were on 1st floor, people accessing their room late was loud and not good Breakfast acceptable

Let's get the room out of the way, first. Clean, comfortable and adequate for a cheap stay. Upon checking in I was charged an additional $50 room deposit that was not mentioned in my reservation. I was informed by the gal who checked me in that it was done EVERYWHERE. COME ON!! I'm a seasoned world traveler and stateside traveler and have NEVER paid a room deposit. I had an uncomfortable feeling upon entering the lobby and didn't go with my intuition. Then I am informed that it may take up to 7 days for the deposit to be returned. Yes, I was a bit rude, but the blatant lie regarding the “DEPOSIT IS DONE EVERYWHERE” fractured my mood. While I'm thinking of this I must let you know the room had many flys that needed killing. Cheapest is not best. The hotel caters to the working man. This is evident by the many company trucks and tractor trailers in the parking lot.

I was glad that I was upgraded for my stay and that I was away from pool area as there was a lot of noise due large group who had loud music in pool area. I would come back and stay given bbq grills, happy hour and daily fresh cooked breakfast from 5:30-10:00. Thanks BW.

Nice lobby and grounds. Breakfast was really great, however rooms facing the pool area can get very loud. There was a group partying at the pool area and playing music which I could clearly hear in my room. The room itself was fine, clean and everything worked fine. The towels were low quality, thin, and scratchy. Good price though if you just need a road trip hotel. The staff at the front desk and at breakfast were very nice.

We love to stay here on our visits to our dentist in Mexico...great location, complimentary breakfast, shuttle service and service in general...People that work there could not be any friendlier will be back again next time for sure ...

About my 6th or 7th time staying here over the past 10 years. Its getting older but the physical appearance and rooms have held up. The price is just right - it is competitive, even a few dollars cheaper than older and deteriorating Choice Hotels properties in the area. Always check here when rates seem high at others.

We travel to Yuma quite often and Best Western is our 1st choice for accommodations. The value is excellent for what you get, the rooms are nice, clean and the bed is awesomely comfortable. They provide a free happy hour which includes two free beverages (wine, beer or soda) and the breakfast is a real breakfast, with good wholesome choices, not pastries and cereal. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. For the price this is the place to stay, for we have tried other properties in the area and this Best Western beats the others hands down.

Nice decor; clean room with adequate area; wonderfully comfortable bed; good temperature control. Rooms distributed among several detached buildings. Daily happy hour is a nice amenity. Not able to take advantage of any food service, due to early departure.

I got this hotel from one of those blind Priceline deals and let me tell you, this hotel didn't disappoint. The front desk is clean and has the friendliest staff, the front desk is equipped with complimentary bottled water, coffee, cookies and if you want you can buy a soda or beer at the front desk as you're checking in or hanging out in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable, everything worked and for the most part its quiet. I enjoyed the happy hour, two free drinks (beer and wine) are included, i ordered the appetizer sampler and it was loaded... it was a great value and the bartender (Jackie) just like the rest of the staff was super friendly. I got to enjoy one of the best complimentary hotel breakfast ever, they had the usual, eggs, sausage and potatoes, but then there's more! Waffle bar, biscuits and gravy, eggs cooked with vegetables and bacon, boiled eggs, I mean the selection here was amazing, if you have kids they will have lots to choose from. All in all, I had a great stay, and i would highly recommend if you're in the Yuma area and looking for a place to stay, this should be your first choice, it will be mine when I get back. I didn't go shopping, but every store or restaurant is within walking distance, and the pool jacuzzi area looked like fun, there were a lot of people enjoying themselves by the pool.

This is a pleasant hotel and great for the price. There is a lot of road noise but hotel is right next to freeway. Those that were staying there seemed to really enjoy the pool area - and happy hour. Staff is pleasant and breakfast is different every morning.

The breakfasts were really good. The food was freshly prepared with alot of variety - not all these sweets and carbs you find at other hotels. Staff was flexible. I arrived late from a business meeting for Happy Hour and they honored it. Rooms were clean with plenty of space. Hotel management made me feel welcomed.

Very dirty floor upon entering room. There was candy, cookie/food crums, large dead beetle, and other assorted debris, along with hair and dirt. There was also a pair of glasses on the floor. I cleaned it up quickly in order to keep our dogs from getting into it. I complained to the front desk, letting them know that I cleaned it up, but requested that we be refunded the $20 pet fee, as obviously they don't clean up after. They refused. A housekeeper came while I was outside at my car and had my room door partially shut. I said that I already cleaned it up and didn't need her. Instead, she pushed the door open, and my dogs made a dash for the door! I ran to the door and quickly shut it. I told her not to do that! She looked perturbed and left. Later, a housekeeping person along with a maintenance person came to the room to see what I found. I showed them the debris that I had picked up and put in the garbage cans. They were upset by what they saw and apologized. Then, found that the nightstand lite by the bed did not work. Found that it wasn't even plugged in. I pulled the bed and nightstand away from the wall in order to plug it in. I found that all available plugs were in use. I requested a power strip so that I could plug the lite in. The gal at the front desk rudely stated that they're too busy right now. 3 hrs later, we finally got the power strip so that we could plug in the lite and put the bed and nite stand back. I reiterated my request for the $20 charge reversal. They refused. The “restaurant” really isn't a restaurant. It's mainly a burger/fry stand. Not clean nor appetizing looking. Still, tried to order a salad but the waitress/cook was too busy flirting with the guys at the bar. After 10 minutes, I left. All in all, a dirty run-down, outdated property, with unhelpful, rude staff. The breakfast staff, however, was the lone bright spot. They were outstanding!

Beautiful room, friendly staff and lots of perks and amenities! Besides the comfy bed, the suite had many features and the decor was updated, clean and modern. There is a mall, movie theater and lots of restaurants in walking distance! I can't wait to go back. I would definitely recommend this hotel to those traveling to Yuma.

We stay here when we are with a group to visit the area. This place has a social hour and complimentart breakfast. The pool area is relaxing and there is an upper deck for smokers to sit. The locaion is perfect for a short drive or walk to the Yuma mall.

The chech-in was quick and easy, finding your room a bit challenging, just takes time. The whole structure is guide a maze until you catch on. The room was clean and well appointed. PJ's grill is the only place to eat without driving and it has a limited menu but good enough. The place worked for what we needed.

Spouse enjoyed the biscuits & gravy, his favorite! We both enjoyed the scrambled eggs & bacon and diced potatoes. The waffles were very good! Didn't have room for more. The breakfast has a great array of items, couldn't eat them all.

In my view giving this establishment a 3 - star rating is stretching it. Many staff appeared unhappy, guest laundry room was unkempt, I woke each day with a back ache due to a too soft mattress. PJ's Cafe was excellent for both breakfast and informal dinner.

We stayed there for two weekends in a row the first room the mattress was not that comfortable but the second room for the second weekend everything was good Services was great the breakfast has a wide variety to choose from sausage eggs potatoes biscuits and gravy yogurt waffles Etc good place to stay sign up for their reward points system you get a 10% discount off of your stay

I arrived at 5pm and when I entered my room, it was a disaster. It had not been cleaned yet and there was trash and dirty laundry everywhere. I called down to the front desk to see if there was a mistake or if they had another room available. It was not a mistake and they had no clean room for me, so I had to sit at the pool in my work uniform and wait a couple hours for my room to be clean. It still wasn't all that 'clean' after they were done with it. They do offer a free breakfast and 2 free drinks at happy hour; however, in my opinion, it didn't make up for the rest of the issues with the stay.

Our presidential suite was dirty, damaged and the WiFi sucked. They don't have cookies, as advertised, and breakfast was non-existent, on our last day. Morning newspapers are a thing of the past and the owner saw fit to cut staffing to bare-bones. He will lose customers and his hotel—because he doesn't understand customer service!

I stayed here for one night with my cat while traveling to San Diego. I decided on this hotel because of the reviews, and the fact that they accept pets for an additional $20 fee. Check in went smoothly and staff was friendly. The room was very nice, roomy, and comfortable with all of the amenities. The only issue that I had was that my room was directly next to the Barbaque grills and basketball court. Which is fine for day time hours, however some of the guests continued the party with very loud vulgar rap music well into to dark. After driving 10 hours I just wanted to sleep to get ready for the next day. I called the front desk 4 times and more than 2 hours went by before anything quieted down. The front desk person did seem to be a little irritated that I kept calling, but again I informed her that I paid $130 for a night of sleep, which I am not getting due to the noise and people at 8:00 PM outside my window. I asked if they would move my room if they could not stop it....Finally I assume someone spoke to them. My suggestion to the staff is that they may want to Implement some noise rules at sundown or be prepared to move the room for the paying guest who needs to sleep. That is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. That aside, I would stay again. The hotel is nice, and the people were friendly.

Horrible experience staff acts as if you stay there for free. I paid $176 a night and was treated horrible breakfast was not serve due to staff ongoing not showing up to work. When I called the franchise to complain they basically told me that they are a franchisee and would submit a complaint. Meanwhile I left this place with the feeling of being robbed it is poorly lit. The walls are paper-thin. And to be honest for the price I paid I will never return to a Best Western. Go somewhere else

Beds are comfortable and location is great which is nearby restaurants. But, be sure to get the name of the person making your reservation and the confirmation number, because I never had an issue in the past, but this last time I had to settle for a small room instead of the suite I had reserved and they had no record.

Room shower did not work at all. No answer at front desk that evening to resolve issue. On 2/16 in the morning, when I checked out, I told the woman at the desk. She apologized and she would issue a refund for the room. I was happy. However, No refund has come through, and now when I called on 2/27 at 12:56 pm, the person at the front desk tells me he didn't know anything about it and to resolve it with Hotels.com, its not his problem. WOW! Not worth the aggravation. But it is worth it to tell you all to find another hotel to stay in. This hotel needs work, and has very poor service recovery.

Stayed here on way to dentist in Algodones. Great location. Walking distance to many restaurants and mall. Hotel supplied probably the best breakfast we have experienced at a hotel. Will stay here again!

As business traveler I look for clean, comfortable, friendly staff, plenty of parking, and healthy breakfast choices. This property has it all. I travel with my own pillows but they are not needed at this property. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Breakfast at PJ's, you can select many healthy choices or yummy sugary ones too. I will be back

we booked a king suite with kitchenette and got put in a presidential room (upgrade I suppose) the suite was very poorly laid out and very chopped up. the kitchenette was a joke and a waste of space . whoever designed it must have been drunk . there was no pots pan dishes or cutlery or dishtowels. We found out at checkout when we stated that fact that we had to ask for a kitchen pack who knew! we were not informed at check-in and there was no sign in the room. The room was next to the laundry and we heard machines running from sun up to sun down .Sometimes we could feel the vibrations through the floor and the walkway in front was always full of abandoned cleaning carts. the couch was terrible it squeaked loudly and was just too uncomfortable to sit on. The bed was old and soft and felt like a bouncy water bed everytime the other person made the slightest movement. The fan in the bathroom sounded like and airplane running.The tv in the bedroom locked up after being on for an hour . We asked for express check-out but never received the e-mail so we had to go to the front desk to check out. The work done on unit 131 to upgrade it was absolutely substandard and if this was a presidential suite I hate to think what the other rooms are like

The good: Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We had issues with the TV and the coffee maker which they addressed promptly. The breakfast is fairly good. Location is close to many shopping locations. The bad: hard to find the room with all the different buildings. Parking could be a challenge if you drive a full size truck. Stairs everywhere. I wouldn't recommend if you are handicapped. 2 coffee pots and neither worked. Gave up trying. The pillows are like bricks. Renovations have been done in my room, but it looks like a rush job by the lowest bidder. Sloppy in details on the finish work. Room could use more outlets in more convenient locations.

This hotel is a good location to shopping and the movie theater. The breakfast was very tasty with many selections. The swimming pool was very and could be viewed from the restaurant. The gym was amazing and the library was a little added bonus for a small quit place to relax. The rooms are very dated and very stuffy from the ventilation. The facility is very large and kind of hard to find your room since there are several detached buildings. The house keeping are very friendly and helpful. There just needs to be a lot of maintenance as you can tell the rooms are badly worn down.

Casual friendly greeting place. Anytime you needed anything you're greeted with a good morning good evening. They dropped everything they were doing to help you. The breakfast was outstanding you had so many choices.

Stayed here for a meeting at YPG. There were too many issues to list specifics. Room dirty old and outdated. Breakfast not even set up one if my stay dates, staff made me feel like it us complimentary so I shouldn't be upset. Kids's were skateboarding on the walkway in front of rooms on 2nd floor. Neighbor guest was playing online games until about 2:00am and wasn't doing so well, because he yelled expletives regularly...and I could make them out clearly due to the horribly thin, unsound dampened walls. List goes on...There is NO WAY I will stay here again. Overall rating should be a 1 star.

Rooms were great, good pillow top bed. Room attendant was asked not to use febreeze or other heavily scented products. She was great and left the room clean without the chocking fragrances. Breakfast was great lots of variety and real scrambled eggs....2 choices. The 2 free drink happy hour brought everyone out of their rooms for a social. Pool was great.

By far the nicest facility at the lowest price we experienced in a 5 day trip from WA to AZ. Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, welcome cocktails, full hot tasty breakfast. Walking distance to shopping and numerous restaurants.. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to relax by the pool. great breakfast. and great social hour. lots of safe parking. Within walking distance of the mall and several good restaurants. convenient location for casinos flea markets and many other attractions.

I have stayed here before. It is near the highway so there is road noise. The rooms have been updated except the bathtubs that have not been updated. Our shower dripped. It is an older motel. The breakfast buffet was a nightmare because it is in the restaurant that is very small. There was a good selection, but it was so overcrowded.

This hotel had a good breakfast with hot and cold items to choose from. There was happy hour with 2 free drinks per guest and a shuttle to and from the Mexico border. We Will definitely return to this Best Western.

First off, BW was not my choice of stay but due to short notice and the time of reservation, they were the only one that's available. Duration of the stay: Checked in on January 6 and checked out was January 18. 1. I have to put in a request to have full service on a daily basis. That is something that should've been mentioned when checking in. I learned something new about hotel stay. Very frustrating. 2. My room was not serviced for 3 days in a roll. Spoke to the manager and was informed that their staff is still on the floors doing room service. Well, okay. It's not on me to know YOUR staff schedule. What I do expect is my room serviced when I come back after a long day. I shouldn't have to call to request services, unless for more towels or other little stuff. 3. The manager was rude. In a sense of correcting me. I don't need you to correct me. I need to you resolve the issues at hands. Overall, the stay was not even mediocre. I couldn't get consistent service and the manager, well, no comment about that. I would not (100x) recommend this BW in Yuma Arizona. I forgot to mention, their PJ cafe was pretty much crap too. On a rainy morning, there were containers all over the floor catching water. There's an obvious leakage in the roof. Oh, if someone next to you were to shower at 1 am. You will hear the water pipes running, it's pretty annoying to be woken up with sudden loud noises. I cannot stress enough that this BW is in a pretty terrible shape. Save your money and stay elsewhere. The price is not all that reasonable for the crappy amenities they claim to provide.

We have stayed a number of times at this hotel in Yuma, in fact giving it an excellent rating in the past! This last visit was extremely disappointing. I understand it is under new ownership and perhaps this is the reason for our experience, but it should always fit the criteria of a Best Western Hotel standard which it certainly did not. I reserved 6 nights at this hotel reserving 2 weeks prior to my visit. 3 of the nights I was using my free points (I am a Diamond member) and 3 nights I was offered the usual "dental rate special". On the phone I was quoted an amount for the 3 nights. I had to book these 3 nights directly with the hotel in order to get the "dental special rate". I received a confirmation for this reservation. I requested specifically that I would be put in a room that I could stay in for the entire week and the attendant on the phone specifically made sure this would happen no problem. We arrived and the attendant was very kind (a male) who checked me in and said they upgraded my room at no charge being a diamond member. I was very touched and thankful for the kind gesture (which has happened on many occasions as per the Best Western offer of a free upgrading to Diamond members at the time of check in.). During the first 3 nights we were a bit disappointed with things like food on the ground/stairs outside our door that was never cleaned up, and a television that wouldn't work (had the caretaker come and try to fix it once, but it continued each day with issues). We didn't let these experiences ruin our visit there, however the final issue finished us off! On our third evening we confirmed all was good with our continued reservation and was assured all was well. The 4th morning we checked in the front and booked a shuttle to Algadones for the dentist. The dentist called BW for the shuttle when we were through and BW asked to speak with me. The lady made it clear that I need to move rooms suddenly and that the room they put me in would not qualify for my "dental special" and that they would be charging me a late check out fee for not doing it in time. I questioned why they didn't mention this sooner. We finally made it back to the hotel and they waved the late check out fee and we were ready to move to another room when she informed me my "special dental rate" was now increased by $20/night despite my reservation. Long story short, we left and had to find another hotel for the remainder of our stay in Yuma.

We loved our time here at Best Western. Everything was great. The bed is so comfy! The room is very clean and spacious. Nice to have a comfy chair & ottoman. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and tasty. The best tasting hotel breakfast we have had. Thank you for making our dental trip comfortable.

When I called to make a reservation, I inquired about if they were still renovating the rooms since last year. I was told they were almost done. I expressed my concern about room conditions. Then at check in( around 2 pm) we were told our room (#173) was not ready. We l came back later and some of the light switches were non functional. Some of the lights worked, so we made due. We also noticed the bathroom sink needed adjustment as the water was not draining properly. Also, we tried to park near our room only to find a LARGE construction dumpster and other construction debris in the parking lot....making our walk to our room a little longer from the other parking area. I noticed what appeared to be a missing picture near the front door of our room with plaster or torn marks on the painted surface. This morning(early and still dark) I heard loud noises that sounded like fire works like a loud "Bang", only to find a man rummaging through the construction dumpster and loading items in his white Chevrolet pickup truck. I called the front desk informing about the noise and the noise stopped. I was not able to go back a sleep. During checkout I mentioned the debris and man making noise...the receptionist said it was a homeless man...Hum!!!! I have never seen or heard of a homeless person with a pick truck up at 2 am searching for and loading building materials....they usually use shopping carts filled with blankets and whatever. Oh! And, the room next to ours had the lights on all day and night with a view of all the construction materials inside laying all around. Also, I might add, in one of the hallways headed to the office I noticed several loose wires exposed for a distance of about 10 feet or more above the doors outside of the rooms. We appreciated being upgraded to a suite without notice during check in, but not next to all the construction. Remolding was not apparent in the majority of the other buildings. The total occupancy appeared to be at 10 to 15 percent during our stay. I'm sorry to say, I was disappointed with this BW......Platinum Rewards Member#....................78

I was leaving for the weekend and I informed the front desk twice that I was not going to be in the room over the weekend. They assured me there would not be a problem and I did not need to do anything. When I arrived back to my room, all of my items were removed and the room was cleared out as if ready for a new guest. I talked to the front desk immediately and they had no notes or anything regarding the items removed from my room. The next day, I spoke to the General Manager. He was initially kind and appeared caring of the situation, getting it resolved and getting my property back.After a few days of email discussion with the Sales Manager, it was confirmed my items were removed from Housekeeping three days before I came back. I did not receive a phone call or anything.They had spoken to Housekeeping and only some of my items were taken back to my room. There was a Best Western Lost & Found receipt attached to them which barely filled out and in Spanish. Not all of my items were accounted for nor were they returned. They were stolen by Housekeeping and the General Manager is not taking the situation seriously. They could not find the rest of the property removed from my room.The General Manager has giving me rewards points to "cover" the rest of the items not returned, which was enough for one nights stay, in Yuma, the last place I would want to stay in Yuma after this happened.

Location is prime; room was clean but quite dated - shower curtain was falling off wall, big holes in wall after it was fixed; Walls are so thin we could hear people chat outside from 6 am until after midnight; maintenance going on so outside work started at 6:30 am WiFi didn't work the entire 4 days there - they said they'd fix it, but we had none anyway Bfst was average in selection, but supposed to be hot items were not even really warm...

So glad to find a hotel room during the high season in Yuma. The hotel was locate with quick access to freeway and entering into town. This hotel's location to the Yuma Mall was nearby. There were great restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Great staff, nice property, only in ground jacuzzi rooms in county/city. Awesome amenities. This is a great place for business, familiy, or couple's to retreat to . Lobby staff always very helpful and beer and wine free during happy hour and sold in lobby as well

I stayed one night with my two boys on our way to California and I couldn't get out of this hotel fast enough! The bathroom was disgusting and there was hair and blood on the walls. I could tell that the hotel was being renovated and clearly our room had not been renovated yet. We went down to breakfast in the morning and it was also raining, and inside the small restaurant area water was pouring out of the light sockets and there was water all over. They were still serving breakfast and it was quite alarming due to the amount of water coming out of the ceiling and pooling on the floor. I would highly recommend that you avoid this hotel and look elsewhere!

How this hotel is rated so highly is beyond me. I had to book here because all of the other hotels didn't have the government rate and I was in town for work. I pulled up at 1 am after a long day of travel. I walk in and give over my credit card and ID. In walk two guys behind me. I'm a woman traveling alone on business, so I expect the front desk staff to not announce my room number. Not the case, he loudly said “and you're in room X.” Strike 1. Finding my room in the dark with a nightmare, as this place is a maze. It is also walk up rooms from the parking lot, adding to the terror. They are also fixing 90% of the rooms in the wing I stayed in. They said it was due to a storm so I wasn't surprised when I looked under my sink and saw mold (explains my headaches for 3 days). The walls are paper thing and you can hear everything. To top it off, on my last night I saw a young lady leaving a room wearing extremely revealing clothing. I am a liberal woman and think that a woman can wear whatever she wants, but the outfit, her mannerism and the hotel clientele make me think that it wasn't an innocent visit. Stay somewhere else. This place is awful. I

Best hotel ever. Badass service. Great room luxurious. Very clean and organized as always. Had no issues whatsoever. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Only hotel with a jacuzzi in there room. By far the best

First the good: the free breakfast is well above average, and the evening happy hour is nice. I never heard a sound from adjacent rooms thru the walls. For long-term stays, there are gas grills, basketball & tennis courts, and a library. The bad is mostly related to the facility: it's a jumble of 6 different mud-colored buildings and parking areas on the side of a hill that form a bit of a labyrinth--to get anywhere you end up going up, around, down, back up, etc. People with mobility problems should look elsewhere. The pool area was clean and nicely appointed, but because it was crammed between the buildings it felt like it was in the bottom of a canyon. (If a big, nice pool is important to you, go with the Shilo Inn or La Fuente.) The hotel is currently being renovated, but I don't know if my room was renovated already or not. The roomy bathroom seemed new, but the dark, faux stone tile on the floor and walls gave it a dungeon feel. The towel bar fell off the wall, and the light switches had been mis-wired so the vanity light was on a timer while the light and fan in the shower were on the normal switch. The rest of the room seemed older; patched wallpaper and the desk chair casters were broken. The whole week, I got a strong wifi signal but could never connect to the internet. They ended up comp'ing one night's stay because of these problems.

This hotel has repeatedly charged my credit card for more than 3 times the amount of the rooms. When I asked the front desk they said it was computer generated and they couldn't stop it. I asked 4 times to speak to a manager and was told someone would call me but they never have. They are currently remodeling this hotel and the noise is horrible! You can't even hear to talk to each other in the room, sounds like a jackhammer is in the room. The cable tv kept going in and out because they were disconnecting it from the remodel. The internet worked only a couple of times. The staff is friendly but not accommodating to the problems we had. We stay at hundreds of hotels across the nation and this has been one of the worst. DON'T STAY HERE!

This Best Western was amazing. I came to town for a Wedding at "From The Farm". It was about a 15-20 minute drive (about $35-$40 for an Uber) to that location. Not bad, especially since "From The Farm" is not in town, and it's a bit away from all the hotels in the area. Our room was SUPER clean and quiet. The breakfast was great and the girl working the breakfast, Sharae, is the nicest person ever. I asked her if there were any more tortillas and she said brightly "I'll heat you up some now!" She's the epitome of customer service! Diego checked us in and he was super knowledgeable about the property and the area. I asked that there not be any feather pillows in our room due to an allergy, and he made sure they were removed prior to my checking in. Diana checked us out and she was super friendly as well. All in all, this is a fantastic property and the customer service is top notch. I highly recommend this hotel if you're coming to Yuma!

Quite possibly one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Room was large and very clean. We had a problem with the TV when we first checked in. Called the front desk and the maintenance man was here in less than 15 mins and fixed the problem. New TV with a great picture. All employees were polite courteous. Great breakfast! We will definitely stay here on our next trip through.

We just stayed one night but we we'll definitely stay again for a couple days next trip. Best western in Yuma has the best amenities and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and very stylish.

Due to government restrictions of how much is allowed per night for a hotel room, my group was forced to stay at this hotel due to availability during our time in Yuma. I was very disappointed with the room condition and hotel appearance. The room was old and outdated, the wallpaper was coming off the walls, holes in walls patched and visible, door frames half painted, and tub and toilet had stains residing in the bottom. The internet was not working and after numerous attempts asking the management for help, was told the problem was me. If you need a one night stay, guess this hotel is for you, all others should consider someplace else. Also, one of the mornings we had a drug addict harass our group in the parking lot as we were leaving for work.

We have been frequent visitors to this property for the last 5 years since its one of the few truly pet-friendly properties in Yuma and we visit frequently. They are doing a remodel but it does not excuse the lack of care that they are showing. I am here until tomorrow on the 2nd floor and the conditions of the exterior are disgusting, leaves everywhere and a banana peel that is hanging on the railing in front of my room when I arrived two days ago and is still there today. The construction crew are often talking loudly on their phones right outside rooms, talking about their personal issues and their dissatisfaction with their job. For crying out loud, housekeepers walk by the freaking banana peel several times a day and don't bother to take it away. The front desk seems to have new staff they are ok but not as nice as previous staff.

We stayed one night. We were given an upgrade because of our platinum status. I don't want to know what we were upgraded from. The desk staff was fine but I wouldn't say overly interested, it's more about the business. I say this because we were supposedly moved to an upgraded room away from the ongoing remodel construction however the workmen talking outside our single pane window at 6:30 am were probably not given the memo. I have no idea if our room was already remodeled but I certainly hope not. If it was, there's not much to look forward to here. The construction of the bathroom was so bad it almost over shadowed the noisy wall air conditioning. Which never ever shut off and would not adjust temperature. The bed was OK, pillows were ok. Towels were cheap motel and smelled like smoke. Good thing its a no smoking hotel. A true highlight was the woman working the social hour in their little PJs restaurant. She was an absolute gem. Everyone else there paled in comparison. My basic standard is the bathroom hair. I judge everything by the presence ir lack of the hair that is usually stuck in the floor corners of the bathroom. Dirty mops leave hair behind, especially when a floor is swabbed. Everything gets pushed into the corners. Every corner here had hair. I won't stay there again, plenty of other options in town. But I would give it a solid 2 stars, maybe 2.5. They have a way to go to earn a third. But it's a good location near stores and restaurants, so if that's more important, you are walking distance to an Olive Garden and a Kneaders.

I've stayed here many times. Every room I've been in has been wonderful. This BW is in a large shopping area close to all the restaurants and department stores. While the local restaurants are nice, this BW has an inhouse restaurant the serves pub type food and the free breakfast. The pub over looks the pool area. Early evening have a free happly hour setup. This is perfect for passing through or stay while going to Los Algodones.

This hotel is great. They have a fun happy hour was free drink. The breakfast was buffet style but also you could get some made to order items. The guy making breakfast was so much fun and he had us all singing along and bopping to the music. Love this hotel.

Clean rooms, great pool area, Awesome Breakfast. One of the nicest hotels in Yuma for the price. They offer water or coffee at check in, and the staff is very knowledgeable about the area. They have winter rates for Dental work in Mexico. Just mention at booking.

This place is OLD. Very old. Checked into an "executive suite". So weird. Dark. Dark color walls. Lamps aren't plugged in Bathtub and toilet in one room (off the kitchen). Bathroom sink and mirror are around the corner in the bedroom. Shabby apartment style windows. You can here someone breathing on the balcony entrance. Some people value CHEAP. If you do, then you'll say it's wonderful.

I have stayed at several different places in Yuma and this hotel is the best as far as amenities for the price. The room are modern, clean and comfortable. They have a small restaurant on site and provide a free happy hour and great free breakfast. The pool and fitness center are well maintained. I highly recommended this place if you ever need a hotel in the area.

Very clean & comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly, courteous and made our stay pleasant. Was a little noisy before 10pm, but quiet after pool closed. Nice breakfast variety and facility is within walking distance of several restaurants nearby. Maintenance man He'd fixed out TV quickly after calling front desk.

This chain of hotels is a must to stay in. Even if the hotel is older, its well maintained and clean. The staff has always been helpful and courteous. The breakfasts are an extra bonus. When available, this is my hotel.

everything was great! had a wonderful breakfast and the room was very nice. There was a fitness center that I wasn't able to take advantage of but will next time. the area was convenient for me and there was plenty of parking.

First of all, i have to say to Mara K of Running Springs, California ... thanks for the good laugh. The rooms do have blackout curtains, but they are behind, not in front of, the sheets. I am posting a picture to demonstrate. The super-friendly and helpful lady who checked me in clued me in on this. I am staying here for 12 glorious days and I love this hotel, the staff, and the location. I can't say enough praise for the size and cleanliness of my room. The bed is huge, with a pillow-top mattress and fluffy pillows. The amenities are seemingly endless ...free wifi, swimming pool, workout room, library, free drinks and snacks during happy hour at PJs, a full breakfast with many many choices of hot or cold foods .... the staff here are all delightful and so friendly. I have no complaints about this BW. It is close to shopping, restaurants, and local attractions. There are also some cats who hang around the place ... I suspect the staff feeds them ... who add a touch of charm and homey charm. If ever in Yuma again, I will definitely stay here.

Great location, Outside shopping mall right across street (Kohls, Target, Ross, Sam's and more with lots of food places to choose from (Olive Garden, texas road house, in and out burger and more). Clean rooms as any hotel minor negative. Staff members was nice, helpful and friendly. Parking easy access to rooms. Outside pool was great not that big. Overall good hotel.

Power outage left us with no ac for 5+ hours because hotel didn't have a backup generator. Ridiculous for a hotel in extreme heat area. Also token toilet and when asked to be relocated they said no. No toilet for a family if 4 for 5 hours.

This BW has a lot going for it. Friendly staff, a social hour, free hot breakfast and nice pool. However, the building is aging and it shows in so many places - peeling paint in shower, dinged up furniture, crumbling concrete work. Also, I prefer light bright rooms and these are dark.

Upon arrival the 1st thing they did was offer me water. Even though I had just left an air conditioned vehicle It was a welcome treat. I was able to check in a little early, nice after a long drive. I had intended to walk across the street to go have dinner later that evening and decided to just eat there at PJs (?). It's a very limited menu but I just didn't feel like going anywhere else. So just after I sit down I asked the cook, Manny, what he would recommend. He instantly said "my Mac and Cheese". He said it is "the best anywhere". I love Mac and Cheese and figured why not. One word, outstanding!!! The serving was enough for two AND lunch the next day. It was cheesy, a teeny bit spicy (loved that, maybe jalapeno?) And heated up well in the microwave for lunch. Seriously I don't know how anybody could make Mac n Cheese that tastes so good. Stayed only one night but everything was perfect and may have to go back if only for the Mac n Cheese.

All of the rooms in this hotel have exterior doors. We had a 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds, traveling with 2 grandchildren. It had a separate bedroom with the beds and a large tv. Living room had a large desk, tv, and pull out couch. Kitchen had a stovetop, mini fridge, and microwave. Bathroom had a door from living room and a door from bedroom. The size of the room was great. When we entered the room there was a strong odor. I thought it was industrial cleaner and my husband thought mold. The bathtub was full of sand or dirt when we arrived (added a pic) but they did come to clean it when we called. The hot breakfast was good but the floor so greasy that it was slick. The pool water looked clean but my husband said the tiles hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. We liked the room but this hotel could improve its cleanliness

Near a big great shopping mall. They have a big amazing pool. Ice machines all around what is very importent in yuma. Water for free in the lobby 24 hours a day. Clean rooms. Every time when i'm in yuma i use always THE AMAZING BEST WESTERN HOTEL.

Stayed here for five days while doing dental work in Los algodones Mexico. The room was clean, the breakfast amazing, and pool and workout room wonderful. But the very best thing was the service'. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate every need. Because they offer free shuttle service to and from the airport and the border, we were able to stay comfortable stateside while doing our dental work. Their shuttle goes all day running guests where they want to go.

Im not In the habit of leaving reviews but this hotel was really a disappointment. I did not expect outdoor corridors. If that's what I wanted I would have stayed at motel 6 for half the price. Pool area would have been nice if it was clean. The pool deck and the water surface were covered with debris. Maybe it had recently been windy or something, but still I think more effort could be made to keep it clean. AC was nice and cool. Oh! The blackout curtains do not cover the window!!! This was completely unacceptable and had we arrived earlier in the day we would have left and found another hotel! I managed to tie them together with a hair tie to provide privacy for us. Corridor lights stay on shining in the window all night. This was actually the worst hotel I've stayed in in quite a while. We won't go back. Beds were soft and saggy too. I really feel Like we wasted our money here. I expected more from best western.

I stay at this hotel every time I'm in Yuma for business. I love to go down to the lounge by the pool side and chat it up with other guess that come from all over to this place. Manny and Alex are an excellent team. Get free breakfast and not just any breakfast a full-course breakfast with all the fixings, and in the evening they have a happy hour with drinks included with your hotel stay. Have not been to two other places but have this kind of offer an option for the gas of the hotel. Aubrey working out front along with Ashley will excellent for check-in and small things needed during my 5-day sta y. They had a recent change in management and I hope that doesn't affect the employees or staff at this establishment because it would greatly downgrade the customer guest experience.

Nice clean rooms & staff was friendly & helpful. Breakfast was great & happy hour was a nice bonus. Only complaint I have would be that the pool can get noisy. My room faced the pool. If you would like to go to bed early or just relax quietly during the day, ask for a room away from the pool. Over all though a nice place to stay.

We were made to feel right at home and well cared for. This was the fourth BW hotel we stayed at during our cross- country trip and loved each one. It was obvious that BW's takes pride in the quality of its accommodations and in its customer service.

I just love this hotel, it's close to everything from restaurants to shopping. I travel for business and as a women traveling alone I love the fact that this hotel is always clean, and I feel safe. They are very friendly and professional. Where else can you go and have a free happy hour and if you like a great burger fresh off the grill. I highly recommend staying at Best Western Inn Suites when your traveling to Yuma.

Great hotel in great location with lots of shopping and dining nearby. A very well done breakfast. Happy hour down by the pool was a pleasant surprise and was not expected. Hotel layout has a very unique layout.

This hotel was a great experience for the cost. All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of amenities, and the rooms were nice and clean. I would have given it 5 stars, except the pillows were a little uncomfortable. That is an easy fix though. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yuma

Very dated and gloomy when you first go in so dark and uninviting. The toilet was very badly stained looked at first that it had not been flushed very unappealing and off putting. The toilet got blocked on our first night, they did however send someone straightaway to deal with it but left the area very wet and dirty. Was unable to have any food on sight as there was no gluten/lactose free on the menu and at breakfast could only have gluten free cherries.

Have visited this hotel many times over several years and it never fails to meet and satisfy my needs. The availability of having a lounge and restraint on site is really appealing. The rooms are excellent and the layout of the rooms have a definite southwestern feel.

This is a extremely nice. Great service, very friendly. I feel comfortable whenever I stay here and I always feel welcomed by the staff. I never have to make any complaints. Overall its just a really good hotel.

Stopped over at this hotel for 1 night. Lovely room, with a fridge and coffee machine. Large room and lovely air con. Stay came with a buffet breakfast, a good start to the day. Reception stay were friendly and in reception you can get coffee/water.

Outdated property, needs renovation. Shower did not work, breakfast room is almost unusable, room smelled horrible. Seems like it belongs in the 1970s which is likely when designed. Stay at nearby hotel, avoid this.

Price point matches hotel. Not a luxury hotel by any means, but it fit the bill and gave us a clean place to stay. Location is great as it's located next to major shopping and dining. Not a bad place to stay...

We have always chosen to stay at this hotel in Yuma because of its great location, and extra perks offered when you stay. They have great breakfasts, evening social hour, and the fitness room is well maintained. We enjoy the opportunity to walk to stores, too.

The Best Western in Yuma, Arizona was a great place to stay. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent! Not like a lot of those powdered egg type hotels. Would definitely stay there again. Great value for your money. It was a little hard to find off the freeway.

Great place to stay. I am a business traveler and stay frequently in different cities. This property has a great breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly, professional staff. This is my go to property when in the area and recommend a stay.

We were very satified with the services you rendered with exception of the resteraung. Food was ok at breakfast but could have used a little more veriaty. At making reservations there was not enough information provided. For example you have no elevator, no vending machines avaible and as to whether rooms facing in or out also as whether was at ground level.

Stay away from this nightmare.After scheduled pickup at Airport failed, Hailed a Taxi to Motel.Room was not the best.remote nor TV worked.Called front desk and was upgraded to a suite,Very few channels available on TV and a.c./ heat fan ran continuously. One side of window curtain didn't work for privacy. A lot of walking involving walking due to seperate buildings.

This hotel is modest in cost and amenities, but worked well for our week stay. We had a suite with kitchen and bedroom allowing us to make some of our meals and have space for three adults. My niece had extensive dental work done in Los Algodones and we found the shuttle provided by the hotel very convenient. Bryan and Juan went out of their way to provide us with assistance during a crisis, and we are thankful the hotel has such amazing staff.

Room (suite) smelled musty. Gloomy deco. Didn't receive maid service second day there. Entire facility showing it's age. It was one if the first built on Yuma's hotel row. Staff not that friendly. Weren't too concerned when we told them about no maid service. And to top it off we're Best Western Gold (almost Platinum) members.

Based on many past stays at this hotel, this would normally be a 4 or even 5-star rating...NOT THIS TIME! The most depressing place we ever stayed in...we have traveled to 57 countries...stayed in hotels around the world...have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. When they redecorated the rooms this one was extremely dark and depressing. The carpet was dark brown, one wall was dark brown with large black headboards running up it. Dark slate tile floor in bathroom extended to very dark tile shower walls with a very sloppy applied sealer between the new tile and the bathtub. The bathroom sink was set so far back that a shorter person could not use it without making a real mess. In spite of past stays...we will never stay at this hotel again we will stay at the La Fuente just across the way. The La Fuente has a much more beautiful courtyard, large swimming pool, and spa...very relaxing atmosphere while the BW has a cement yard for their small pool and 5 person spa. The BW serves nothing but jug wine and beer with chips and runny cheese for their social period while the La Fuente serves cocktails and delicious and plentiful chicken wings. The breakfast at the BW is very mediocre and not well cooked while La Fuente has an excellent variety and waffles. For the ten bucks, you might save staying at BW over La Fuente...go all out...spend the extra ten bucks and enjoy a beautiful room with very nice amenities. We stayed at La Fuente one night and the BW the next night so had excellent opportunity to compare.

Stayed here again with another couple. Convenient location close to shopping and restaurants. Really liked the happy hour with a couple of free beers and nachos. Friendly staff and responsive to problem. Our TV didn't work when we first arrived. Called down and someone was there in 30 seconds to fix it. Will stay there again.

Many times we have stayed here and many times we are pleased with the results. Every staff member is friendly and helpful and the suites are always in good condition. Manny in PJ's is the consummate host, cook and bartender. Pool area is clean and the guests make use of it frequently. Overall a super place to stay .

We travel frequently by car and when we do we prefer to stay at a BW or a BW+. You always know that everything will be in order. When we arrived at the BW Yuma Mall we received a nice welcome bag of goodies and a complementary upgrade to a Spa Room! As BW members we've come to expect a little extra special treatment on occasion but this was ...More than expected.

Excellent value hotel , great staff & clean rooms. Stayed at another hotel in Yuma and it never came close to quality. The service was great and the shuttle service to the golf course was an added bonus.

We have stayed here before so figure we would try it again. Room was clean, bed comfy, WiFi was a struggle, tried for an hour to connect. Husband tried and had a small issue but was connected after a bit. Our room was a connecting room.... it looked like the floor was recently redone by the connecting room door. People checked in beside us and we could hear them as if they were in our room. Checked under the door and there was a 2.5 gap. Looks like they cut the door to do the floor and forgot to add a piece. Thank goodness they weren't too loud. Think maintenance needs to fix it. It was room 169. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, oatmeal and lots of other treats.

I don't know what the architect was smoking that designed this place, but lets just say getting around in this place is interesting. the door configuration to the bathroom in our suite was a puzzle on a good day, a pain on a bad.that being said the people that work here were great,nice free breakfast, and a great location.

I was disappointed with the cost of the room. A year ago this same room costs $50 less. The location is in a good spot with things close for shopping or restaurants. Easy access to the highway and simple to get to.

I had called to reserve and spoke to the most incompetent worker ever after repeating and spelling my name twice for her she still managed to get it completely wrong kept me on a long wait and placed me on hold during our conversation without even telling me. Showed up to check in and they said I had no reservation and they were all sold out. Luckily I had written down my confirmation number and was able to be found. They said I was listed as Dalton Estella instead of Jasmin Estrella. After I thought the worst was over only to find out that she had only reserved one room when I asked for two. Now here we are waiting to find another room as they stated they were all booked. At this point the employee proceeds to look for an additional room and after about 40mins she gets us a second room and stated the beds were not done but, there was clean linen. Honestly we were just trying to get some rest to continue with our trip the next morning and due to the mess and chaos our schedule and plan was all messed up. Now on to the rooms... they had the hot water and cold water flipped when the kids were using the sink they closed off what they thought was the hot water first and ended up burning their hands. Once checking out I asked to speak with the manager and was told she was not there but, would be calling me to follow up with me. So far I have not received a call and find this as bad customer service. I have always enjoyed staying at best western hotels as it had always been a pleasant experience however, after dealing with so much stress with them I will insure to never book with them again. My advice is don't stay here or reserve here save yourself the headache of dealing with such unprofessional and unorganized people.

This is a great place to stay! Very clean, wonderful rooms and great staff! Finding out they host a "Happy Hour" was a great surprise! We enjoyed it very much! The breakfast was also very good! The Desk Staff provided great suggestions for places to eat and provided a shuttle to and from..............absolutely would stay at this Hotel again!!!!!

We stayed here February 9 - 12 Arriving for check-in on the Friday at about 1;30 PM we knew there was a chance a room would not be ready but we could likely get checked in. That was the case. We were advised our room would be ready at about 3:30 and we could return then. We headed out as we could do a few things to kill time and arrived back at about 3:50 to find they needed another 20 - 30 minutes minutes. This did not sit well with my traveling partner as we had plans for 5:00. Arriving back about 25 minutes later our room was ready and the Front End Manager took $40 off our room for the night. We had a 2 room Suite with a Kitchen. It has a 2 burner stove, microwave, small fridge and coffee maker. This said it was odd that there is no knives or folks or pots or pans to use the stove. If you plan on using the stove make sure you come prepared. On the Saturday we were out for the day stopping back for about 10 minutes mid afternoon and our room had not been cleaned yet. We left again and returned about 830 PM to find that our room still had not been cleaned. A call to the front desk for clean towels brought what do you mean it has not been cleaned? Stated again it has NOT been cleaned. A young man arrived with clean towels and we showed him what we mean and he was rather taken back by this. He said he would make a note of this on our room. Checking out Monday Morning we had the same Manager as we had when we checked in on Friday. I can honestly say she was not sure what to say and had no answer as to why our room didn't get cleaned. The Breakfast is Fresh made and one of the better breakfasts I have had at a hotel where it is included. The downside was Ketchup was hard to come by. Every table had a bottle of ketchup but it only had less than an inch in it. The Ladies doing the breakfast are very Friendly. We never did get to "Happy Hour" so can't comment on it.

Always clean and friendly. Full Free breakfast every day. Right of hwy 8 easy access. Near a new shopping center with a movie theater and lots of food choices. I've used for business and family travel and never been disappointed. only 40 minutes to the Colorado River too.

We stayed here only one night but will stay again when we return. A lot of folks stay here who are going to Mexico for dental work. Nice happy hour in the evening and close to lots of sites and restaurants. Close to the Old Territorial Prison.

We are currently here on a one night stopover between San Diego and Phoenix. I wish I had kept driving. We checked in around 6:30 pm. I had booked 2 rooms with airline points. I could have used more points to stay at a Hilton brand, which is typically one of our go-to chains, however the reviews I found were all quite positive. So I decided to go with the BW for fewer points. We check into our 2 rooms. For starters, they are not terribly close to each other. Then we find out that neither room had been cleaned. Disgusting. I called front desk, as did my parents in the other room. Then I called my mother, who informed me her room was unclean as well. The front desk said they weren't sure what they could do because they were sold out. They would have to get back to me. My mother was told by the front desk that someone was on a bus back to the hotel to clean the rooms. I quickly searched to find another hotel, but apparently all of Yuma was sold out for the night?!? We were contemplating hopping back in the car and driving to Phoenix that night. Not ideal, as we didn't want to be on unfamiliar roads at night for 3 hours. But that is what we were leaning towards. There was no way I was staying in a dirty room even if they sent someone to clean it. I just did not trust it. I called back to the front desk about 10-15 minutes later, as we had not received a call back. They found new rooms for us. I was very skeptical, but they seemed to be clean. I didn't want to drag my kids back in the car for another 3 hours, so we opted to stay. The room was acceptable at best, and I am relieved it's only one night. Beds/linens seem to be fairly new. Wallpaper is peeling in lots of spots. It looks like an old hotel that was inconsistently upgraded. The old mirrored closet doors and some old/some new light switches remind you that the renovation job was never really completed. Just enough to make it pass as updated on first glance. Pillows are rock hard too. I appreciate a firm pillow, but these are terrible. I asked about laundry facilities upon check in. I was told it was coin operated. No problem. Got quarters at front desk. Asked if they sell detergent. Yes. Never was told I had to buy it at the front desk and not in the laundry room. After the whole room debacle, I had to go back to the front desk with laundry in tow to get detergent. When I was complaining that this was not a great night, the two women at the desk said “not for them either.” Not something you share with your guests. Bring it up with your manager or your cleaning supervisor, definitely not with me. I was told there was nothing they could do for me as I had booked through a third party (American Airlines). One of my parents came with me on my trips to the laundry room while the other stayed with my kids. The area just did not feel safe for any of us to be alone. The one bright spot was the gentleman tending bar at PJ's cafe. He was kind enough to show me to the laundry room as the map isn't terribly clear. We have always loved staying in Best Western hotels. However on this stay in Yuma, we were disappointed. We stayed for two nights. We understood that if we did not put the cards on our beds the sheets would not be changed. We did not know that that along with that only new towels would be replaced. We did not have the beds made, or cups and glasses replenished, or coffee supplies added to, or the trash emtied. Very disappointed. I can only guess that if you request no sheet change ( to protect the environment) that you give up all other rights to any other service. Will have to consider future business with BW. The front desk rep. was very cordial at check-in. The hotel complex is large with several buildings. Our room was very clean but a little bit out dated. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was held in a room that was very small with limited seating. The breakfast was the standard fare, nothing exceptional.

First on the plus side... Front desk was upbeat, friendly and helpful. They made you feel good when you walked in the door. Found a good discounted price...but would not stay there for the more general 140+ They have an evening hospitality hour with beer and wine Bed was reasonably comfortable..liked the pillows I was baffled by the the high reviews I read. The down side for me... Room had a strange smell Door had been damaged so it was hard to lock deadbolt The rooms paint job was sloppy included paint on the curtains Thermostat was sticky and dirty...must never have been wiped off The hospitality and breakfast buffet area was smelly, stuffy and crowded. Breakfast food typical fare Outside walkways etc dirty Also travelling solo do not like the sprawling building with no easy acess to front office Conclusion...Lots of folks seem to like it but i think three stars is generous. I expect better from Best Western. Probably wont stay again. Might be adequate for a quick night on a road trip.

This is by far the best hotel in the Yuma area. We have been coming here for over ten years. We are never disappointed in the quality and service. They have upgraded with the times as needed and it shows! Great breakfast; nice pool and hot tub, also a social hour. There is a smoking and sun deck overlooking the pool area that is great for relaxing and spending time with friends. It is also nice to receive those Best Western Rewards Points!

The room was clean & the bed comfortable. Not much else to say, didn't stay long enough to say much more than that. I was told that the breakfast nook was good but didn't get up early enough to try it out. A/C & TV worked just fine & the Hotel is centrally located to all area of my interests.

Staff is very friendly and seems to have everything a traveler should need. We stayed in the king bed room and were very comfortable. Breakfast is a buffet in the little bar next to the swimming pool.

When we checked in we were offered cold water, a warm cookie and given information about the 2 free drinks at happy hour. The pool was clear and refreshing as was the hot tub. The room was well appointed and there was lots of parking. Across the parking lot was a large department store. Great location.

Staff was exceptional, easy access from freeway, rooms comfortable and quiet, breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and we'll supplied. I travel often and am never disappointed in this chain. I recommend this property highly.

I liked this place. Every time I left the room I found more stuff to do there. Great pool and pool area, a bar(which doubles as a breakfast place), and so forth. It was clean and the staff was very nice. I would stay here again any day of the week.

Very nice hotel for a relaxing vacation! Great breakfast area & you are also invited to enjoy an evening get together happy hour. Happy hour is a relaxing place to meet new friends and also get ideas on what the area has to offer, things to do and the places to see. Also you can shuttle to Mexico and shop or have dental work done.

We had been traveling through Yuma with our truck and 5th wheel trailer when our truck experienced a mechanical issue. We had everything towed into the dealing, but the dealership told us we could not leave the 5th wheel on their lot over night. We had to scramble to find a place that would take our 5 traveling companions, plus 3 dogs, our 32ft 5th wheel, 3 other vehicles and a flat bed trailer. We were not able to stay in the 5th wheel toy hauler because it was filled with toys. I called this best western and they were the best thing to happen to us all day! The girl who answered the phone was a joy to work with and readily agreed to accept all of us and all our "baggage". She set us up 2 suits right next to each other, told us we were welcome to bring the 5th wheel and flatbed, the charge for dogs was only $20.00 (as compared to $70.00 per night many other places), AND free 2 drink happy hour and free breakfast!! Regardless of their accommodating, efficient and kind attitude, the hotel its self was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were spacious and modern. And the price was excellent! Definitely the place to stay in Yuma.

Not great but much better than a road motel, there are quite a few details that would need to be fixed (like real small details) so that it would be a good deal, unless it was a cheaper stay... Yuma is not particularly a hot spot for vacation and the hotel should be cheaper...

I have stayed in a lot of hotels for business and a lot of Best Western branded locations and The Best Western in Yuma has the best staff and the most amenities for your money of any other hotel. The management is always available, they will go out of their way to help their staff and ensuring every guest is comfortable and completely satisfied with their accommodations. With continental breakfast, social hours, shuttle service, etc. I have everything I need when visiting Yuma.

The hotel has excellent staff and service. A social hour from 5:00-6:30pm provides 2 free drinks. Free water bottles and breakfast is included. If steps are a problem for you, be sure to ask for a first floor room with no steps. (There is no elevator.)

We had a few days to wait till we could get into our winter retreat rental so we opted to stay at the BW Yuma. Since we were staying more than one night we chose the suite. Excellent choice, in our opinion. The usual BW excellence in the quality of the bed plus the little kitchen was well stocked for our needs.

Lots of stuff to do that are close to this hotel. WE enjoyed the old town Yuma. Prison Brewery and Lutes Casino. Hiking at the bird sanctuary down the street was a treat for us and our dog, which was welcome at this hotel. Best BW we have stayed at.

Great hotel in Yuma Az. Love all the extra things they offer, free drinks and a free breakfast. We will continue every year to stay at this hotel. Employees are the best they treat you great. Also employees in lounge and breakfast area were so friendly. Great location also.

Nice hotel for price, breakfast was good, but seating is limited. Bed was comfortable but pillows are small. Bathroom was spacious but light and dan are on same switch, which was annoying. Would stay again.

For $100 a night we received: a suite that was bigger then my first apartment, separate living room/bedroom/kitchen with fridge, stove & microwave, bedroom has a huge jacuzzi tub. Room was clean and very well maintained. Breakfast that had eggs, B&G, waffles, pastries, cereal, coffee, juice etc. Happy hour came with two free drinks and the all the staff were amazing. This place was better than some of our time share properties!

Everything you would need away from home was offered. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The prices are fair. The service was excellent. The amenities are plenty and all available when requested. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. A Pet friendly place, a plus! Would definately return.

I am a BW rewards customer and was not recognized at check in after giving them my Diamond Select card I did not received a welcome package and did receive a room upgrade after requesting one. The staff in PJ's Cafe did a really good job and the service was great.

I have stayed at this property 6 nights in the last 3 months. Always a pleasant experience. The breakfast is always hot and fresh. Even at the end of the service time. The rooms have been remodeled and are nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western InnSuites. The location is really great. We went to movies at the Harken Theater in the mall and had dinner at a few of the local restaurants. We were able to walk to all these location. Every evening we went to their happy hour at PJ's grill and had a few drinks. Every morning we had breakfast there and it was very well done. We would like to mention that Manny at the grill took very good care of us at happy hour. He made sure our drinks were always full. The room was nice and I could tell they were working hard at upgrading stuff. I did notice the tile work in the shower needed a little more work, but overall the room was fine. We would go back again.

Very accommodating staff and appropriately priced. Good value for the money. Good access in and out for shopping at neighbouring stores. Good breakfast included makes it a winner. Lots of parking with easy access to your room which makes loading and unloading a breeze. Rooms very quiet and modern décor. Wifi included which worked fine.

The beat overall experience is happening at Best Western. The staff is super friendly and there whenever you need them. They have a restaurant and bar called PJs Cafe and Manny's Mac N Cheese is like a piece of heaven.

King Suite with an in ground jacuzzi??? Yes! Add clean, comfortable rooms and grounds....you got a winning stay! Oh, did I mention a library, tennis courts, social hour, and an in room jacuzzi? Best BW room ever!

We stay at this hotel and found that it was a clean, safe and accessible hotel that was close to many amenities. We had a few issues on arrival and the friendly staff quickly address our concerns and made us feel welcome and satisfied with their assistance. We will definitely stay there again.

A great place to stay in the southwest US. A well-run establishment who caters to its guests, as a hotel should. The central eating/socializing venue in the middle of the hotel is a unique touch that sets this hotel apart from any other.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The suite we stayed in was fantastic, unfortunately we did not wake up in time for breakfast, but we loved our stay. I will totally recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Hotel is very nice and very Clean. The staff is excellent and goes out of there way to accommodate. Breakfast was good and cook was more than accommodating. good parking with close access to shopping. You can find anything you could need with in 5 Min. I suggest trying it out to enjoy the experience.

Great Hotel chain which provides value for your dollar. Good selection for Breakfast. As a Diamond Member upgrades are frequent and appreciated. Internet connections are stable and do not drop out during communications. parking is always close and available.

Great place to stay everyone there was very nice appearance of the place was great. Food fantastic, I went with 2 teenage boys everyone was wonderful with them. I changed my reservations to problem any questions the boys had everyone was very helpful while I was away at meetings.

Breakfast was great. Went to happy hour first night. Beer was great and they supplied pretzels/chips and salsa. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Plan to stay here again if we come through Yuma avain.

It was a late afternoon, totally lost track of time, and my only concern was if there was any rooms available. I was very satisfy to know that the moment I walked into the lobby instead of asking questions I was received with a warm welcome and a room available.

First the good - The rooms are clean. The grounds are nice. The staff is friendly. On the other hand, forget about the pool if you're an adult. In is overrun with screaming children from Noon until 10PM. You will enjoy the screaming inside of your room five hundred feet away from the pool. The 'happy hour' is also children's happy hour. The kids are bouncing around with no supervision. I was afraid to even try the breakfast, we ate out for the week. Actually, don't come here unless you have kids that you want to let run amok. If you do, you've found your spot. If you're an adult couple with no kids, don't stay here. We won't be back

This is a clean, updated, well-maintained hotel. The rooms have been updated with modern design. The grounds are beautiful and contain lots of outdoor seating and cozy spots. The staff is the best I've encountered in a long time; everyone friendly and accommodating.

I have been working out of town for the last 3 years and always look forward to staying at Best Western. I can always count on having a clean and comfortable room. Wheneverget booked at other hotel chains I never know what to expect . My last stay at Best Western Inn Suites was was what I expected nice clean room, clean bathroom, comfortable bed and fluffy towels. Most other hotels seem to have only cheap towels.

We stay here every year. Close to the freeway entrance heading west, in behind is a monster shopping center. The welcome happy hour and breakfast are superb! Great staff, very accommodating and friendly. Best place if you are heading to Los Algodones We love this Best Western.

The rooms looked great. Very modern look. Great curbside view. I would stay there again. The staff was great and the hot breakfast was great. Great location. right off the highway and lots of stores and restaurants in walking distance. I will tell family and friends.

The property was very nice, they have a place for cooking out and offer breakfast and a nightly happy hour with free apps and drinks. The staff were all great. Our room wasn't great, some of the other rooms/suites seemed much better

This is the perfect place to stay when you are planning dental work across the border. Free airport shuttle, free shuttle to and from the border. They will even take you to nearby restaurants free of charge. Not to mention that rooms are nicely furnished and clean and they have pricing arrangements with some of the Los Algodones dental offices. This is how you spell service. Free breakfast buffet and daily free happy hour are just icing on the cake. We are happy campers.

Staff hard working and friendly. Free bottled water in lobby. Clean, modest rooms. PJs Cafe...Amazing breakfast. Free. Each day different style eggs...and sides. Real eggs...real potatoes...fruit choices...fresh...etc.

This hotel is in the best location, has the best breakfast bar and, by far, provides the best experience. The location is convenient to all areas and the highway. This is the only place to stay when in Yuma.

welcoming staff, excellent breakfast, quality rooms, and great workout room. Quality for the price. We travel often between California and phoenix and staying at this hotel breaks up the trip and allows us to stay on the beach longer.

I picked this BW because I stayed here in the past but over a decade ago. The rooms were all modern, clean, comfy beds, despite a property that was built in the late 70's or early 80's. This property is conveniently located across from the Yuma Palms mall with all its amenities and restaurants. Plus its right off the Interstate but shielded by a dirt berm which reduces the freeway noise. There are several long term US Military personnel staying here on TDY which makes for great guest clientele.

Thanks Best Western for making our trips to Yuma amazing. Room is always clean your staff is happy. Which makes us happy. The cook thank you for always taking care of us. Pub bar you guys rock! House cleaning thank you for taking care of us. Makes our trips enjoyable and can't wait for return.

Best Western Inn Suites Yuma Mall was great. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and overall it was a great bargain. I definitely recommend this hotel if you plan on staying in Yuma.

AVerage hotel for the area. Not a bad place to spend a night or two. Friendly staff. Some noise and odors from adjoining rooms. Restaurant and Lounge near pool area. Recently remodeled and not bad for the most part.

Found this hotel a jewel in the desert. Clean, well kept and comfortable. Within walking distance to everything one could need. Excellent staff. The pool area has a lot of shaded areas which is a must in the desert. The gym is well equipped. Everything is clean, was very impressed with this hotel.

Great location right on the main Hwy thru Yuma. I had a suite with a living/office room and a large bedroom. The kitchen had a 4 burner cook top and a large double sink configured into a wet bar with access to the living room. On the first Wednesday of each month the badgers throw a get together for everybody staying here which includes hamburgers, hotdogs and all The trimmings along with potato salad, pasta salad and cookies for dessert. Along with the meal you are allowed two alcohol beverages. Each evening they have a happy hour get together we're also you're allowed to alcoholic beverages. The grounds are beautiful and well maintain. I highly recommend anyone staying in Yuma to stay at this best Western.

This hotel was very nice. Check inn and check out was done very fast. Nice area with lot of shopping and eating opportunities. Stil nice and quite area. Good breakfast with a good numbers of things to choose. Nice with the little gathering in the afternoon with a couple of free drink and some snacks.

stay here every time we come to Yuma to visit family. convenient to freeway access, clean rooms and very good breakfast items served for a long time in the morning. close parking to any room we get. staff is helpful and nice.

very accomodating and comfortable stay. and yuma is worth a look. also drop down to algodones. the best western in yuma is vey convienient.and make the trip well worth the time . also drop dow to san louis . and go out to the imperial dam and get a date shake along the way

Try Marriott instead. Rooms smelled, internet sucks, tv remotes suck, pool was gross, it's many buildings rather than one, the toilet and shower are in the kitchen. The sink is in the bedroom. Overall set up is weird.

The staff was very friendly and helpful , the rooms were Great very. The mattress was one of the best I slept on the pillows were good also , the rooms were very clean . The bar also served free beer from 5/7 I think which is Awesome . I would highly recommend this hotel

Comfortable...convenient and clean! The staff are helpful and the location is great! Rooms are nice and reasonably priced. No complaints about the breakfast either! I have stayed here on 4 occasions now and I will keep coming back.

The staff was very friendly, our room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the happy hour and breakfast at PJ's was really great! Highly recommend if you're traveling through the Yuma area or planning a trip into Los Algodones, Mexico!

Stay was ok, but room was not very clean to begin with. Up charge on leaving was very excessive over what we had been quoted. Breakfast was good and the breakfast staff and maintenance staff were very nice, but thought the office staff was below par for what we are use to.

Our room and bed was nice and comfy. The breakfast was hot and awesome! Lot's to choose from. The staff at the front desk and lounge were friendly. We had a little difficulty finding the hotel, but that was our fault. We will definitely come back here to stay.
