Standing next to York Minster, the Guy Fawkes Inn, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western was the birthplace of the notorious plotter, Guido Fawkes. The Inn offers en-suite rooms with free wifi, flat-screen TV's and AA rosette food. Each of the rooms have been decorated individually, feature antique furniture, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. Many of the rooms also enjoy a landmark view. The Inn retains many of its original features including gas lighting, real log fires and the timber staircase. You can also dine by candlelight in the restaurant, which serves classic pub-food from locally sourced ingredients and the bar stocks a range of real ales. Both York theatre royal and the national railway museum are just a 5 minute walk away.

« Birthday visit to York »

Stayed at The Guy Fawkes Inn for 1 night. Loved it..?? From start to finish. The staff were great, we were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The room was cosy and the view of the minster was lovely. We had dinner that evening and breakfast the next morning, both really nice. We will definitely be staying again, even after our spooky experiences ???? through the night.

« Very Comfortable Inn With Rooms »

We stayed one night (Saturday) - in York for a concert, and were very well looked after. We always try to find places to stay with some history and character, and the Guy Fawkes Inn is not short of either! Our room (2) was on the first floor with a bay window overlooking the rear courtyard - very comfortable. This is probably the closest of the rooms to the bar, but we didn't find the noise obtrusive, even on a very busy Saturday night. In any event, what noise there was stopped promptly at midnight, and being at the back there was no street noise. Important to remember that this is a busy inn with rooms attached if you're looking for absolute peace and quiet. The restaurant was very good in the evening, with a varied menu including a very acceptable option for the vegan in the party. Breakfast was equally good, with a range of cereals/fruit etc. on the buffet and a proper full English cooked to order - increasingly rare these days. We would certainly recommend the Guy Fawkes Inn (subject to the caveat of bar noise for those particularly sensitive to it), and may well stay there again on future visits to York.

« Nothing like the online description »

Me and my husband stayed here for one night midweek , a much needed break . Really dissappointed , poor check in stood at end of bar like spare parts and payment asked for straight away , never had to pay on arrival it was asked for quite abruptly . Nice 4 poster room with lovely views of the minster although the bathroom let it down, very small and tired . Didnt really appreciate the view looking at the staff who had just served our breakfast having a cigarette accross from our room window. The website sells the Guy Fawkes inn on been candle lit all over, in my opinion battery powered candles dont count. Very noisy from the bar downstairs and this was a tuesday if your coming on a weekend dont expect to get much sleep. I appreciate the inn is trying to give you an ambience of the 1570s when Guy Fawkes was born all we got uncared for and very worn . The best thing was the company i had and the lovely view of spectacular york minster.

« Nice mini-break in York at the Guy Fawkes Inn »

We just returned from a 2 night visit to York and the Guy Fawkes Inn and really enjoyed our stay. The check-in at the pub counter was easy, the staff friendly and helpful. We had cottage room #9 over looking the pub patio. It was midweek, so the pub was pretty quiet and we didn't have any issues with noise (we are night owls anyway and didn't get back until midnight). We missed breakfast the first day, but managed to make it down the last morning and it was delicious, served until 10am. You can help yourself to cereal, yogurt, juices and also order hot cooked to order food from the menu. We also had a fabulous dinner at the pub, really great menu and the food didn't disappoint. The second night we left our window open because it was so warm and I woke in the middle of the night to see someone (a man with dark hair in a red waist length red jacket) standing at the foot of our bed. My husband was sleeping next to me, so I figured it was a spirit wondering why we were in his bed, gave him a look and I rolled over and went back to sleep. I had a much spookier experience in the women's toilet at the Golden Fleece pub the day before, so this didn't rattle me at all. York is known for their 'spirited' residents, and I've had other interesting encounters in England, so I wasn't surprised to have visitors. Apparently, room #10 is known for mysterious footsteps on the hardwood floor. So, if you'd prefer spooky sounds to spirit visitors, book that room. lol All in all, I'm really glad we visited York, it's an amazing history with endless interesting things to see and do. We will be back and would be happy to stay at the Guy Fawkes Inn again.

    « My 50th birthday xx »

What a fantastic inn beautiful inside & out staff fantastic... Right in the shadow of the Minster loved every minute very clean & quirky old and creaky..we will definitely be going back... Janice & les xx

    « J James »

Stayed for one night and it was very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. You are able to leave your bags at the pub before check in which is great as check in is at 3. The staff are helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was good and we had a meal there sat night which was good also. You have to be out of your room 11 the next day but again you could leave your bags if you fancied a wander around York sights. I would recommend this place although it is rather pricey but it's situated in a perfect position.

« A Great hotel Packed With Charm and Atmosphere »

We stayed in room 10 which was in the Court Yard. The room was spacious, fabulously clean and had a four poster bed . Bathroom again was large and clean. It had a roll top bath, separate shower and free toiletries. The staff from greeting us to us leaving were professional and very friendly . Breakfast was served in the quirky dining room and was delicious with plenty of tea and Coffee. If you like a hotel with charm and fantastic views of York Minster then this is the hotel for you. To keep up with the history and ghostly atmosphere give the ghost walk a try. We went on the one from directly outside York Minster. A gentle walk with a great, informative a funny guide and just £4 each .

    « Brilliant getaway »

Booked to stay here for one night very last minute over Easter bank holiday. After visiting the pub a few times on previous visits, me and my partner were very excited to stay the night. The staff were fantastic, the room was nice & clean with an amazing view of the minister, and as usual the beer was brilliant. We are yet to eat in the restaurant, but after our fantastic experiences, we will definitely return! Love the quirky and original character to the Inn, and the history behind it. Just a shame we didn't see any spooks!

    « A Great Experience »

We checked in, and the place was amazing from the start! Very helpful & friendly staff, and what a beautiful Pub! If you can't stay overnight you must have a pint here. The views from the room were amazing, the bells from Yorkminster were surreal. I highly recommend a night or even a week at this magnificent Inn!

    « Great little place »

I visited here for the second time over Easter weekend. Booked a table as there is only a limited number and knew it was popular. Really authentic inside and friendly service. We had soup and mushroom and goats cheese tartlet to start - both nice but would have preferred a different pastry to filo on the tart and the beetroot as stated on the menu was pretty much non-existent in the salad. Steak and chicken with gnocchi for mains went down an absolute treat. We shared an apple bramble crumble for dessert which was also lovely. Would definitely return again.

    « Feel a little aggrieved »

Sunday lunch £12.95 for a choice of beef/pork/chicken - I couldn't decide and being a meat fan I asked for both Pork and Beef. I stated that I was happy to pay extra for my request, what I didn't expect was to be charged £19.95 and additional £7 for two slices of pork 55% additional cost at the price of lunch!! The food and service was fine but this extra charge I feel made the overall experience a bit of a let down. I didn't challenge the bill I just paid and disappointedly walked out...would visit for a beer due to location but wouldn't eat here again. Sorry the staff and service were spot on..

    « Beautiful hotel »

This was an amazing place , as is York. With lashings of history and lovely staff. The rooms were clean and the food was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic and I would definitely say even if you aren't staying here, book a table for the roast. Probably the best ever.

    « Sue »

Was a lovely hotel lots of character to it, was in room 1 was lovely room was clean can't fault it, we had a view of the Muriel on the wall that was good ,staff were friendly breakfast was just right , we will be back was a special treat for my partners birthday.

    « It was ok... »

Room was really lovely and clean. Check in a bit odd, had emailed the hotel because of snow delays but didn't get a reply. Booked for dinner but the menu was limited because it was Sunday, we had a drink and left, on our return they had a singer on. Unfortunately for us our room was right above where the entertainment was. It did stop at 11, but beware if you want to sleep !! Breakfast was ok, limited fruit, juice is a pub so you have to accept that, but overall could do with some professionalism.

    « Enjoyed my stay. »

Can't really complain about anything. Great friendly staff, perfect location, had room 3 overlooking York Minster, fantastic spacious room. Bar/public areas so so. Stairwell, corridor a tad tatty. Lots of dark panelling everywhere including room. Decent breakfast, stay not cheap but not bad value for money given the perfect location and room 3 with 4 poster.

    « Pub Meal Only »

We called in here for food yesterday so I cannot comment on the room/hotel aspect. The location is brilliant almost next door to the Minster. We were swayed by the Trip Advisor Award of Excellence Certificate displayed in the window and took advantage of the 2-courses for £11.95 which we thought was very good value. My partner had the curry and sticky toffee pudding and I had the fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding. I have had better and the portions were rather small. I would rate the food as 'average' but I guess quite good value for money. The service was quite quick to start with and they couldn't wait to take my plate from me although my partner had finished and I was still eating. We waited ages for the dessert and had to ask for it. They were apologetic about our wait and gave us free drinks on the house which was nice. The place has a rather unpleasant smell to it like someone else has commented. Also, the toilets have no dryer that I could see or paper towels hence I had to go back into the cubicle for toilet papers. Don't think I would rush back.

« Superb food and atmosphere »

We often visit York for the races and always go to Guy Fawkes for Dinner in the evening after a great day at the races, we always pre-book and so far we have not been disappointed, the food is excellent, staff very good and due to its age and location the place is magical. Looking forward to our next visit.

    « Great overnight stay! »

Stayed at the Inn and up in The Belfry Suite. An amazing view of The Minster. The place is steeped in history and has some amazing features. Staff friendly and although we did not done at the property the menu and food looked superb. Nice selection of real ales and would not hesitate to stay again.

    « due to M62 closure »

appalled by the hotel . Booked the hotel through , for my girlfriends birthday . due to stay Sunday 4th till the 6th March : tried to cancel the hotel through Saturday 3rd March , m62 closed and was not cleared for several days due to severe weather conditions. We live in Manchester . I was informed i would loose £89! VERY disappointed!! Surely due to the weather conditions an exception could have been made on this occasion my girlfriend now wasn't getting a birthday present .

    « Quirky and atmospheric. »

On booking the hotel I was very impressed with the helpful staff. Efficient and organised. We arranged a free early check in and found we had been upgraded to a four poster room with roll top bath. Hotel brilliantly situated in york for bars and attractions. The room had quite a musty scent to it which was not pleasant. We didn't mention it due to our time constraints. The bar and restaurant in the hotel was buzzing and had a great atmosphere. Decor and furnishing were quirky but some items not in a great condition. Room is well equipped and quite clean. Bed beautifully comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was wonderful and staff were fabulous. All round lovely stay but Was it value for money? Not worth £189 in my opinion and I think describing it a "luxury" is a little bit optimistic.

    « Great location! »

The location is really good for getting around in York! They have lovely open fires in the bar which is great. I would say from our room that it was quite small so if you want spacious maybe upgrade to a four poster room. Breakfast is expensive in York so best to go B and B! Thanks Jen

« Friendly is an understatement »

We booked last minute, this place is perfect for the city centre staff are great - bar is lively and breakfast was ideal. MASSIVE recommendation is little Italy - outrageous food and surprisingly well priced

    « A Two Night Stay »

We stayed for two nights over half term. I found the service to be excellent throughout the time; everyone was very helpful. The view from each room we stayed in was extremely impressive and the location could not have been better. However other aspects of the visit were a bit disappointing. Initially we stayed in room 4 which had a four poster bed. The room was quite small and there was no dressing table which caused a number of problems. We also found that the bed was incredibly noisy and the posts all creaked very loudly every time we moved. We had a poor nights sleep as a result. When we explained the problem to the manager the next morning he was very helpful. We were relocated into room 3, which was also a four poster bedroom. It was much larger and quieter and we couldn't work out how room 4, which was very small in comparison, was the same price. As part of the package we had breakfast there each morning. It was also a little disappointing. I had a sausage sandwich on the first day; the sausages were good quality, but the bread was not. It was thin and of value supermarket quality. The cold buffet selection was also somewhat limited. We have stayed here before and we feel that the quality of stay has diminished since the previous time.

    « Birthday Treat »

Had a fantastic evening with family, lovely location, great real ale, and amazing food the meat pie is awesome, very friendly and helpful staff, room was excellent, met with the group MD who was very helpful Will visit again!

« Very good overnight stay »

I've eaten lunch here before and had a beer, but this was the first time I've stayed. We had room 2 on the first floor. Nice big room with a big bay window overlooking the courtyard at the back of the hotel. Nice comfy bed. Setter and chair and big television. Big built in wardrobe. Bathroom up a step through double doors so needs care when using. Nice shower. Adequate toiletries. Noise does seep up from the bar but quietened after last orders. The dining room is very atmospheric and dark and may not be to everyone's taste, but I liked it's quirkiness. Breakfast was really good. Service was excellent and all staff we met were really pleasant. Overall a pleasant experience.

« 65th Birthday where Guy Fawkes was born. »

I liked this hotel from the start. They stored our bag for us because we were early and left it in our room for us. We were given room 11 which was in Guy Fawkes Cottage. The room had a lovely big double bed - large television and plenty of tea and coffee. It is also where Guy Fawkes was allegedly born. The bathroom was great with plenty of toiletries. The room was across a courtyard and although people were smoking out there it did not bother us, we even showed some the room as they did not know it was a hotel. Our friends came up to York for the day and we had a drink in the bar where the atmosphere was great. The breakfast was good quality and the staff were fairly laid back and affable. When we came in on the night a couple in the courtyard asked us if we lived in the cottage which caused some amusement. Oh and my partner claims she saw a figure at the bottom of the bed in the middle of the night...Lovely and atmospheric hotel.

    « Lovely »

Went to York for a short break and on a walk about the town ended up having a drink at guy fawkes birth place The pub is very nice with good decor and a warm feel There is a nice atmosphere inside and the drinks were served by a welcoming member of staff A must if you visit York

    « Great weekend break »

First visit to the Guy Fawkes, staff delightful and service top notch. Only comment really is that "luxurious bedrooms" didn't really apply to room 1. Whilst perfectly clean and presentable I would not associate it with the word luxurious- the furniture was shabby (not as in chic) ring marks, only 1 bedside light, tea and coffee choices very circa 1980, strangely tea cups with no saucers and UHT whole milk!

    « Disgusting bench cushion »

Just spent a couple of hours in the guy fawkes as usual on a visit to York .Love the place but please do something about the disgusting cushion on the bench in the room opposite the bar .It must make costumers wonder about how clean the rest of the place is.

    « Perfect quirky hotel »

Amazing stay from start to finish - a bargain for what we paid. Stayed in the Belfry Suite which was huge - jacuzzi bath and separate TV area. Low ceilings and beams added to the atmosphere. Staff were brilliant. Breakfast was great too. Location - could not fault. 5 mins from the Shambles and plenty of restaurants/cafes in walking distance. Perfect view from the window at the end of our bed of York Minster (picture below). Would return in a heartbeat, a million times better than the faceless, characterless chain hotels.

  • 5
    « Excellent »

A really great base to explore York - right in the centre. This hotel is the perfect antidote to the faceless bland chain hotels. It's full of quirky corners, wonky doors and loose floorboards - but crammed with character. The bar atmosphere is great and a wonderful breakfast served

    « Could not fault ! »

I only stayed at this lovely hotel for 1 night but would definately stay there again .. it's very central but very quiet . It has bags of character and the staff are very attentive and friendly . My single room wasn't over large but was well furnished and had a very comfortable bed .The only food I had there was breakfast but it was of excellent quality and I wish I could have lingered there longer over the quality coffee but had to dash for my train home.I have been lucky enough to stay in York many many times and this hotel is definitely one of the best I have stayed in .. Thanks to all staff for a brief but memorable stay x

    « A great birthday weekend »

Four of us stayed here for two nights- we had a brilliant stay from start to finish. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone wanting to stay in York. staff very attentive, room was lovely and breakfast was to die for.

    « Belting »

Visited this pub every night during our stay, great place, great ales and atmosphere, can't wait to return to York so I can come back here, may even book to stay here next time as reviews are good, great location and well recommended

    « Return visit. »

Love it. It's my 4th time staying there. Generally get the Belfry and other rooms. Breakfast is beautiful too. Bit slow on booking in as the staff are serving drinks at the same time. Rooms are clean and beautifully made up.

    « York in Winter »

The pub provided good accommodation, and is situated in a great location downtown, opposite the Minster. The bar staff was pleasant and cordial. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was great! The pub offers a good menu for dinner.

    « Sleepless Nights »

Birthday Treat I would like to point out that all staff were very lovely, breakfast was nice and this is the most perfect city center location BUT being a pub the noise level is too much and even after 11 pm Friday last orders and Saturday 12 pm you still have the staff clearing up. The most disappointing part was that the night porter chose to set up for breakfast at 4:30am Sunday Morning making so much noise, moving tables crashing of cutlery and cups. We were in room 2 directly above the dinning room. By 7am the telephone in the bar area was ringing but this could also be heard in our room very clearly. Saturday afternoon the chamber maid left the TV volume on as high as possible while listening to music while doing our room so when we put the TV on the volume was ridiculous. Overall we were just shattered and on Sunday we had a 5 hour drive home. Not happy. I did inform the hotel on check out and the response felt like they had heard it all before.

    « Once again, I chose well »

This is the latest of several stays in the Guy Fawkes and I am pleased to say in 2018 it is as good as usual and reasonably priced. The room was spacious, comfortable, and plenty of hot water in the bathroom, and the staff were great. Breakfast is always a pleasure. I always amuses me to read some of the negative reviews on here, as I know this place quite well (though I often stay in other hotels in York the Guy Fawkes is my go-to place, I love the location). If you are not the sort of person who enjoys a quirky dark pub, do not book it, if you prefer your floors and doors level, go to travelodge, and if you have over-sensitive ears and are upset by people having a few drinks in a pub then, with respect, don't book a room above a pub. No doubt I will be back again soon.

We stayed here with friends. Both rooms were lovely and even though ours overlooked the outside courtyard it was quiet due to policy of no one in courtyard after 10.30pm. Lovely breakfast and staff were attentive

    « Brilliant! »

Fantastic location, lovely room, huge bed. Staff are brilliant: Helpful - they managed to find us a table for dinner at the last minute even though they were busy. Friendly and funny - good moves to Shania Twain???? Food good and plenty of choice. Never been out in York before and it's a great night out.

  • 5

Ate here on 19th January - brilliant place with excellent food. The fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding were amazing and well above the usual pub grub. . Would recommend this place for the food and its history

    « Nice Pub Grub »

I booked dinner at Guy Fawkes Inn during a weekend stay in York and I wasn't 100% sure what to expect. Upon arrival you enter a small bar area which has another room to the right. The Pub is clearly popular with locals and tourists, the latter I suspect due to it being the birthplace of Guy Fawkes. The restaurant is to the rear of the building and continues with the dark and quirky theme. The food is very good and service is prompt however this is good pub grub and does not offer or provide what some people may be expecting from the website. If you are looking for a good hearty meal, steak & chips etc. that you might find in your local pub then this place is great. If on the other hand you are hoping for something special or a romantic dinner for two then you need to book elsewhere.

    « Poor service »

We took a seat in bar area at 2.30pm I asked a waitress if we could eat in the bar area and said yes as long as we ordered before 3pm when they stop taking orders. We went to the bar 5mins later and the bar man said we could not have food in the bar area and they had finished serving now anyway. We left hungry to find somewhere else.

    « Nikki b »

Me and my partner stayed here recently and it's a lovely hotel yes it's old obviously lovely staff room small but cosy and warm a variety of tea and coffee items available breakfast excellent would definitely recommend

« Pretty cool but disappointing »

This is a pretty cool pub which I think could do a lot more, it's appears pretty big from the outside but it actually really quite small and rather cramped oh and rather expensive for a pub, it's cool to say you have been but I thought the branding was pretty poor and they could have really done a lot more considering the history behind this you really didn't know where you were, you could have just been in any old pub. But since the history behind it, it is worth stopping in for a pint just to say you have been.

« Good food and drink!! »

Three of us had dinner here and it was very good. Nice old place and good service too. The fish and chips was very good. I enjoyed it. wasn't to busy either as we got in before the busy part of the evening. It has rooms too. I would love to spend the night there. Would be fun!!

    « Interesting »

Visited on two weekend nights in November. We only had drinks and the ale was well kept. Might not be for everyone as is a bit dark and dingy, but that is parts of its charm and intrigue. Wouldn't want a ? fun pub ? Place was busy too. Will definitely go back

« Romantic getaway in a historical hotel »

It's like go back in time and stay in old-style room. It's very old hotel but has all you need and it's warm. We had an amazing 1 night stay which made our experience in Christmas York unforgettable. It's super close from famous streets and restaurants. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel room are not big but very cozy.

« Superb pre Christmas stay! »

Annual Christmas trip to York, shopping and boozing! The Guy Fawkes never disappoints great rooms. Staff really friendly, Michael is a legend!! The Guy Fawkes is steeped in history and you can feel it. Location is just perfect. Already booked for next year!!

« Worst hotel ever every stayed in. »

We stayed in room 8 (which someone has previously reviewed negatively). The room was small, and seemed very old. The lighting was poor, the bed was very old and creaky, rolling over in the night woke both of us up. The curtains looked dirty, and the floor was sticky, like it had been mopped with a dirty mop from the bar downstairs. It smelt of stale beer. We also asked for our continental breakfast to be brought to the room which was offered by the information booklet, but this never turned up. The busy street outside can't be helped, but other guests talking outside the room at 3am and then again at 4am also added to an awful nights sleep. On a plus side, the bathroom did seem clean, compared to the bedroom, but again was small. We found this to be a very disappointing place to stay, and would rank it as the worst hotel we have visited.

    « 1 night stay »

Very pleased with accommodation. Staff very welcoming and helpful... were happy to change the original night we booked to an alternate that was more suited to ourselves. Good central location. Breakfast very tasty! Fantastic views of the minister.

    « xmas stay »

My husband and I stayed at the Guy Fawkes Inn over Christmas this year the food was very nice on Christmas day and the staff were very friendly but i would not stay in room 8 again it was very small the lighting was poor and the bed was very old and creaky other wise everything was fine.

    « Perfect location »

Stayed here beginning of December for a girls night away with my sister at the Christmas markets. Booked this hotel purely on price and location on what was a busy weekend. Location cannot be beat being literally opposite the minster. Outside the hotel/pub and you're in the heart of things. Room itself was ok, classed as executive it was tiny, barely room to squeeze by the bed to get to the window. The bed was comfy though, and the room clean. And for a Saturday night staying basically in a pub, we slept great. Breakfast was included and you order off menu with a continental buffet available also. The food was lovely. The staff were lovely. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Maybe a little more wow would give it full marks

    « Great food »

Lovely food and great service from the staff. Very romantic setting with gas lit lamps and dark wood. Would recommend steak pie and for starters the home made black pudding is great. All portions are big

    « Amazing! »

Me and my partner stayed here 23/12 - 24/12 for a christmassy Break :0). the room was beautiful and the facilities spot on. there was no noise from the pub downstairs either so that was great. The view from the room was so nice.. the Cathedral bells just made the atmosphere that more special. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

    « Amazing little hideaway »

What a little treat this pub was to stumble over. The interior is a traditional pub with roaring fire and friendly faces. The food was Devine and excellent value for money. Can't wait to go back. Love it!

    « Just fantastic »

My boyfriend an I visited here and we were blown away! The history, the food, the cosy atmosphere and the overall experience was fantastic! So quirky it transports you back in time, you can't help but smile. Well done and keep up the good work

« The best staff in york by a mile. »

From the bar staff, to the waiting staff to housekeeping you will find the most attentive and dedicated members of staff at the guy fawkes inn. We stayed for well over a week and were treated like family during our entire stay here. The Manager Adam and Assistant Manager Lydia were so hospitable during our breakaway. Nothing was too much trouble. There was always a member of the team around to help with any questions or requests we had and we felt at all times we got their undivided attention. Georgina and Michael are very approachable, accommodating and pleasant members of a wonderful team. All members of the team contribute massively to the success of the business and go out of their way to provide first class customer service at all times. During busy times they exceed expectations and go above and beyond their job descriptions. It truly is a wonderful team here. Please make sure you dine at the guy fawkes inn especially on a sunday for the roast dinner. We did several times during our time away and the food was delicious, the chef certainly knows their stuff. Our room was perfect, the housekeeping staff were so lovely to us, always smiling and talking to us every morning before breakfast. They made sure our room was spotless from top to bottom. Are only complaint was the fact we didn't get to say a proper goodbye to Michael, Georgina because we had a train to catch home before we left, but we are hopeful we will see them again in the summer. Thank you so much guys for everything and see you in 2018!

« Nice staff but unable to uphold fundamental basics of keeping customers safe »

Not only were guests served alcohol late at night already intoxicated which is illegal, they were then served through the night for 11 hours till 10.30am allowing them to get further drunk & aggressive shouting in the hallway waking guests up in the early hours of the morning Staff don't seem to be trained on BA sic safety measures. Not knowing to intervene when guests were being aggressive & shouting at other guests Our room was on the stairwell with very thin walls so was very difficult to sleep through the noise of other guests coming & going throughout the night & morning & im a very heavy sleeper
