« Great Stay, Will be back »

Loved our stay here! Very clean and affordable. The staff was great and accommodating. The best part was the bed, oh man so comfy. I don't sleep well on the road but got a solid 7 straight hours and would have probably slept 2 more if my son didn't stick a lego in my nose. Will definitely stay again! (without kids next time)

« Great breakfast selection and friendly staff »

Good Best Western. Rooms very clean and a bit dated but in par with the Best Western chain. Breakfast selections were great. Greek yogourt, almond milk, etc. were really nice perks. Staff was very friendly. Not in the best area of town but the hotel was well lit and we felt safe and secure at all times.

    « Unsatified »

We will not stay at this hotel again, even though we always try to stay at Best Western. The bed resulted in the family having back pain (even the children) and we received a wake up call at 5am that we never requested. We do not like to have to answer a phone at 5am, nor do we like having to put our children back to bed after being woke up. The staff did not seem to care and the biscuits at breakfast were like rocks. Rocks and gravy that what we had for breakfast.

    « Thanks staff »

We stayed here as a volleyball team and the staff was very helpful. The front desk was available for extra bedding, towels, etc. and the cleaning staff was friendly and personable. Breakfast was awesome and Connie was the best!! She found extra servings of my favorite type of yogurt for me to make my day :)

    « Great stay »

The staff was very helpful and courteous and the room was more than adequate.Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had all we needed for our electronics. Enjoyed breakfast. We would stay there again.

« Nice Hotel, cold pool »

This hotel does the trick. Nothing spectacular, nothing horrible. Everything right as it should be. Free breakfast is great, has nice warm hot tub, but the pool is less than warm and unenjoyable. Overall, it made for a good stay. Doors are thin, so if people are loud walking down the corridors its the same as them being in the room with you. The location leaves more to be desired. Half the businesses in the area are boarded up and empty, and lots of crack heads at night. This is not in the "nice" part of town. Especially for the price. Immediately next door or many motels for $32 a night.

« Good Place and Value »

Traveled to Yakima for a conference and found this place to be a good alternative to the conference hotels around the convention center. Priced about on par with most competing brands in the area, easy and relatively short drive to the convention center, which was less than 2 miles away. Friendly staff and very nice accommodations. Easy check in and check out. Cookies and coffee in the lobby during the late afternoon/early evening hours. A full breakfast with a choice of eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, cereal or biscuits and gravy each morning from 6 to 9. All nicely cared for by a staff member who does a great job of providing the various food choices and keeping things tidied up. Room was comfortable and provided all the amenities needed to relax and review each days activities at the conference. They have a nice business center too that could prove useful to anyone needing to conduct business during their stay. Only downside I noticed while here is the neighborhood is a bit sketchy as you drive towards the down town area on 1st Street. All-in-all this is a nice facility, with terrific staff and I would stay here again.

« If you must travel to Yakima... »

Over all a good place to stay. Good location and a good breakfast, what more do you need? Ah ha could do with a better quality TP. Right across the street form the Harley dealership, dogs & hogs on Saturdays.

« This is a good choice in Yakima »

Choosing a hotel in Yakima requires care - cheap can be sketchy at best, and the nicer brands can seem really expensive for the location. This BW is maybe the best bang for the buck, it is respectable and well kept, and not insanely expensive. Rooms are modern and clean, adequate parking. Being a "plus", breakfast is above average. Location is just north of the main commercial hub, but has easy highway access. Would stay again.

« Great Hotel for the Value »

Would recommend stay at this hotel if you are in need of a hotel in the Yakima area. The only compliant I would have is that the pool was cold. Besides that the room was nice and cozy. Nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good and nicely presented.

« Interior Perfect, Neighborhood I'm not sure »

Nice staff. Clean and new seeming interior. Very roomy rooms. I just felt like the location was not as safe as I like to feel even though nothing specific happened to me personally. There were many families here as well as retired-aged people. It was nice enough and only 5-10 minutes from plenty of food options and downtown.

    « Comfy »

Booked this hotel because we like BW and it was on our route to Idaho. Very comfy and clean with very courteous and friendly staff. Unfortunately there are no decent restaurants within walking distance if one has a hip problem. I believe it was two long blocks to the closest. The hot breakfast included in the rate was very good and more than adequate.

« Best Western Plus Yakima hotel »

Second time here and I stayed almost two weeks for work. Nice up to date hotel. Easy access on and off the highway. Serves a fabulous breakfast and the staff is caring, knowledgeable and helpful. Very cordial with every interaction. I highly recommend this hotel in Yakima and it's within a mile of downtown Yakima with really nice upscale dining. Very impressed.

    « Soccer Trip »

Wonderful experience! Checked in quickly, parking was wide open. Very easy to access from the freeway. Jesse on the night shift even made cookies upon request at midnight. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable! Would highly recommend.

    « Excellent Business Hotel »

The stay at the Best Western hotels always makes my stay away from home pleasant. I would highly recommend Best Western as your destination when away from home. They are always clean and the staff are helpful.

« Clean and great deal for the price »

Only complaint was that the bed wasn't super comfortable, but it was on par for a comparable hotel. The breakfast was good, the internet was reliable, and the room was very clean. Not really walking distance to any restaurants (aside from the Waffle place), but it is very easy to drive around town.

    « Loved our stay »

We have stayed here once before. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We come to Yakima at least twice a year and glad we found this hotel. The only thing I noticed was the room needed to be edged a little.

    « A good night's rest »

We stayed here on September 10th. Had no problem finding the motel after leaving the freeway. Our room was ready earlier than the check in time which was just what we wanted. The people who worked the front desk were friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. The guest laundry facilities were clean and worked efficiently. Breakfast was not bad.

    « recent stay »

the location was average the breakfast was good and area was clean the condition of the room was clean but the bed was like sleeping on ply wood we had access to wi-fi check was easy and simple easy access to freeways

    « Pleasant nights sleep »

We had a third floor room (top floor) and it seemed very quiet as compared to some other motels that we have stayed in. Linens were nic and clean, as was the room. Very good breakfast with choices for everyone.

  • 2
    « Noisy »

The exit door is broken and slams shut every time someone exits or enters the building. This made it difficult to get a full nights sleep. The floor on the 2nd floor guest room above mine was very squeaky when the guests walked across it. Additionally, during my 4 day (over $500) stay, the trash was not emptied even once.

    « Great Stay! »

This hotel is clean and well done. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Our room was large so lots of room to move around for 3 adults with a sitting area with 2 chairs. Breakfast was the normal BW breakfast with choice of sausage, eggs, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruits, etc.

    « Good comfortable stay »

We stayed at the Yakima Hotel for one night on our family trip. We travelled with a baby and a 4 year old. We found the staff helpful in recommending places to eat and with getting our room set up with a crib before we got there. They also set us up in a room with close proximity to the pool which we visited a few times. (Room number 101) We were all happy with the choices at the breakfast in the morning too.

    « Just okay »

One side has a view of an old and run-down trailer park. We had to switch rooms as the original had a toilet that would not flush and no one on property to repair it. Original room and tub and shower curtain in need of bleach/replacement. The AC was just okay. Beds comfortable. Granite counter tops nice touch. It is not very close to main part of town. It is situated just off hwy 12. If you do stay here, insist on room with view on opposite side of trailer park. Ugh!

    « Newly renovated »

Always good to stay in a newly renovated hotel! The room looked sharp with clean carpets, freshly painted walls and updated fabrics. Our was large enough for two queens and a sofa without feeling like the furniture was crammed in. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had excellent pressure and the towels were thick. Although the hotel is adjacent a busy street, our room was quiet. Breakfast had the usual fare. Staff was efficient and welcoming. The price was a tad high, but it was Labor Day weekend so that's to be expected. I'd definitely recommend choosing this hotel for the next year or so while the renovation is still shiny.

« Best choice for the money »

Decent price, clean large room, easy to negotiate, near the interstate. Front desk was most helpful and courteous. Excellent breakfast: scrambled eggs with choice of chopped bacon and shredded cheese. Also many choices of yogurts and even milk in small cartons. The pool was very pleasant and long enough for lap swimmers to get in a decent swim. You will need a car to get around, although there were a fair number of choices of restaurants on the same road.

    « vacation »

our room was very nice and clean. The breakfast we had was hot and a large assortment of food to eat. Our room was quiet even though the hotel was full. We enjoyed our stay. We will recommend this hotel .

« Excellent location and value »

Used to live in Yakima and when we come back to visit, my husband and I agree staying here is a great option for our family. Great location, rooms are decent and the free breakfast is satisfying with a lot of options. The location is not any more unsafe than most mid-sized cities, but not a lot to do within walking distance so you would need a car.

« Hotel OK but problems with billing... »

A pretty standard BW hotel with comfortable clean room. However...I presented a $50 BW travel voucher at checkin and was assured it would be reflected in the total bill at checkout. Not so...a bill was slipped under my door during the night showing the total cost.. whoever calculated either ignored or overlooked the value of the travel voucher even though it was attached to the file.. I questioned this at checkout only to learn that the full amount had already been charged to my credit card and the voucher value would be credited "within 3 to 5 days" .Here it is 5 days later and no credit amount on my credit card. The hotel very quick to take my money; not so quick to return it even when it was their mistake to begin with.. And to top it off...elevator not working when we checked out (I realize this can happen) so we had to carry out bags down 3 floors. Not a very positive impression at this property.

    « Worst stay »

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past 2 month for business. This hotel room was filthy, plastic on floor underneath the sink area from previous guest. Fake fingernail on floor by bed...My bootie socks I wear were black from dirty floors. The night stand and table had sticky substance on them from previous guest. The staff has changed attitude, more interested in talking and chatting then helping guests. I wont stay at this hotel again

« Probably the best option in town »

We stayed for one night on our Washington/Oregon road trip. it is conveniently located to the highway, and situated in a way that you can easily drive to a restaurant or store. The rooms themselves are pretty comfortable - pretty standard Best Western. I wouldn't necessarily go into the stay with an expectation based on the "Plus" label. Other than maybe offering additional services that a standard BW does not offer, I don't think you'll really find a difference in the rooms. The room was mostly clean, perhaps some dust in the corners, usual places. We had to change rooms on arrival because the A/C unit was making some pretty wild noises - not a big deal or anything, just maybe check it when you arrive to make sure you don't need a quick switch (the room number was 323 btw). The room we were switched to was just fine, A/C was fine. I like that it is an old fashioned unit that you can control 100% yourself - it's good for ambient noise. The staff member at check-in was very helpful, recommended a couple good places to eat. The breakfast was very well maintained and well appointed. The lady staffing it was doing a great job cleaning up and making sure everything was well stocked. If we're back in the area this will be our stop.

    « Restful Stay »

Thank you for a delightful stay. The room was clean, inviting and relaxing. The breakfast was filling and fresh scrabble eggs, bacon and biscuit and sausage gravy. The staff were caring and helpful to attend to your needs as a guest.

    « Best North Yakima »

From Raquel at check-in being so helpful, and arranging a room for us near the pool / hot-tub to Connie at breakfast, this team made our stay in Yakima enjoyable. Raquel gave us dinner options, her recommendations and what other visitors usually seem to like. We also happen to arrive right when the fresh-baked cookies were getting done so she offered those up straight away. Connie, in the morning at breakfast was so quick to keep the tables clear, the breakfast area stocked and cleaned, it was impressive. She would get in and out between guests to clean up the spilled waffle mix, and restock the yogurt/milk fridge. It is so great to see someone taking pride in cleanliness and she was also thanking her coworkers that showed up to empty the full garbage's. While we usually stay at the other BW, this property certainly proved themselves worthy of a repeat visit.

    « Excellent Service »

I stayed 2 nights at the Best Western Lincoln hotel in Yakima for a family reunion. The room was perfect and very clean. The service from the front desk through housekeeping staff was excellent. I definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Yakima. The location is close to the main highway so is easy access.

    « WA MotorCycle Trip »

Excellent location and friendly staff. Great breakfast! Very clean rooms. Bright lighting in parking area. Check-in staff suggested great places to have dinner. Red Lobster is very close by and was excellent.

    « BW+ - Yakima »

This is a good place to stay if you are in the Yakima area. Our room was quite clean, the bed was comfortable, all the staff members we encountered were pleasant and helpful, and the cost was reasonable. We did not eat the breakfast; so, I can't comment on that aspect of the hotel's service.

« Wonderful place to stay!! »

Everything about the place was great except that it would have been nice if the pool had been outside, altho that's not real practical for Yakima. The room was very clean; the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The breakfast was very good with a good verity. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Next time we go to Yakima, we will definitely stay there. My son and his family stayed at the Red Lion and had nothing but trouble there. That hotel would not get a recommendation from any of us. We were so glad we stayed at the Best Western!!

« Hanging out with family »

The B W Plus Yakima Hotel was very nice & the staff was very helpful, with what ever extras we needed & advice on places to eat in Yakima. The room & bathroom, were smaller than we are used to in B W motels. Somewhat disappointing. The motel seems to be located in the lower class section of town. Thankfully, the parking lot was very well lit & we could keep an eye on our vehicle in the parking lot.

    « Dirty,smelly, dismal »

My room was dark and dismal -- With a most spectacular view of one of the worlds saddest looking trailer parks. The bathroom was not cleaned properly and there was a musty smell in the room -- suspect it was coming from the wet spot under the window ... There are plenty if nicer hotels in the area to stay at -- don't get fooled by the hotel web site.

    « Exceptional »

Our room is spotless. Samantha and Laura take much pride in there work. Breakfast was delicious and Jennifer and Danika were constantly bringing hot fresh food out. I came back for more drinks and Jennifer was at my service. This was by far the best serviced hotel I have visited. I own my own business and appreciate this kind of service. Thank you ladies. We appreciate a job exceptionally done. We will stay here next time we come to Yakima!

    « Retirement »

Great hotel, I usually stay at a best western when i can, because of the services and breakfast. It is affordable and inexpensive. They are also located all across the U.S. My family enjoys the breakfast and it tends to hold us over the day. Knocking out two birds with one stone. It's better than paying an additional $60 for lunch.

    « Comfortable & Clean »

This property is very comfortable, clean, friendly and convenient to most activities. We enjoyed a ground floor Accessable room. Although it did not have a walk-in shower it had plenty of grab rails and the tub base was not slippery. We opted to spend a total of three nights and would return in the future if in the area. The WiFi was strong.

« nice overnight in yakima »

almost always stay at b/w when we travel thru yakima clean rooms good breakfast, nice ammenities, and pool also frienldy helpful staff. walking distance to several restaurants and lounges also a good starting spot to cruise some scenic roads and passes

    « Nice Hotel »

We stayed one night here. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. The room was as expected nothing exciting. The breakfast the next morning was good and filling. Plenty to choose from. We booked a king room and it was very comfortable.

    « Best Hotel »

Very comfortable hotel with good service. Large breakfast room to accommodate many guests. Very clean room and a comfortable bed. Pleasant front desk check in. General appearance of the hotel was positive.

    « comfortable stay »

This is a great place to stay in Yakima, and for the price it is a great value. The only downside is the is right of the hwy, so convenient, but has a trailer park right behind it so our view was not so good, and I would not have felt comfortable walking to the store. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, breakfast was ok, pretty typical. I would stay here again.

    « HotelStay »

Hotel was in poor shape, needed some cleaning on walls. Couch in room was ugly and not in good condition. Carpet was hard on feet. Located in a poor part of town, not a good district. This hotel did not look like the picture on the internet.

« Family Funeral trip to WA »

All the hotels BW that we stayed at tried their best to look upscale to justify the cost. Breakfast was consistently good. Customer Service was excellent. Safe parking and cool rooms. Pet friendly with no restriction or huge deposits

« Nice facility, convenient, great staff. »

Stayed one night on a family trip, passing through. Staff was very friendly, capable, and attentive. Room was nice and a good value for the price. I would recommend this BW to travelers looking for a solid value at a good price. There are other BWs in Yakima - this one is at the north end of town and an easy on-off for the Interstate.

    « Family Vacation »

Husband and I traveling with our pet found this room clean and with a comfortable bed. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Check in and check out was quick. Good location to many restaurants and down town.

    « Great service »

Personnel were very helpful. Helped another guest find his hotel when he came to wrong Best Western. Although I was early, they checked rooms to be sure they were clean and let me check in at noon. Helped me to find ATM machine and gave great info on where Jazz Festival was being held.

« Great Experience in its Entirety »

I appreciate the training and exceptional customer service of staff, especially the check in and out receptionist. I will recommend the Best Western Plus Lincoln Inn to my friends and family. I have a planned trip coming up in July and planning to stat at Best Western.

    « work trip »

I have stayed in Yakima a few times and here twice for work. Enjoyable stay, comfortable hotel, Good breakfast! As far as Yakima goes I would stay here again and also if I was here for something other than work I would stay.

    « Close to Hwy 12 and Hwy 182 »

The stay was OK. Chosen for easy access to Hwy 12. I felt the room was too expensive for the quality. The night clerk at the desk said the room had been renovated. I suspect there had been a leak in the sink since the carpet was wet and I got my socks wet. However, rooms were at a premium in Yakima that night so I was glad to get it. The room was quiet and bed comfortable

    « Nice Motel »

Overall the motel was a nice place to stay. The room was clean and looked good. We stayed in a room on the ground floor and the only issue I had was noise from the room above us. I could hear people walking back and forth, fortunately they quieted down after about a half hour. The breakfast was good with the usual offerings.

« Comfortable, clean, affordable, good breakfast »

Stayed one night - our first time at this Inn in Yakima. Usually we stay at the Red Lion. It is much nicer - very clean, furnishings not as worn. The breakfast was complimentary and very good. The Inn is located close to freeway exits and it is easy access to downtown. We had our Bichons with us - they have a pet area with pick up bags. Our room was very comfortable in size and the bed was quite comfortable. A slight faux pas was that the indoor poor was too cold to swim in and the shower head was so high I could not reach to adjust. There is an exercise room and a whirlpool open 24hours. The Inn is quiet. We will stay here again.

    « No hot water »

Stayed for two nights, May 13&14. My reservation was not correct. They only had me for one night, when I reserved for two nights. Both mornings, I had to take Luke warm showers. For this I will not stay at this place again. Hotel is not located in a nice section of town. Looks like they did some upgrades to the rooms. Breakfast was good. No ice in the ice machine. With no hot water, they only get one star. I will spend more money to stay at a different place next time

    « Great place »

Have stayed at Best Western motels several times in the past and have always found them to be clean and quiet. Breakfast was always a great perk to be able to enjoy. Will continue to use there services provided for a great place to stay.

    « Great Hotel »

Nicest Best Western I've stayed in, newly remodeled room comfortable bed and great shower. Motorcycle friendly with covered parking at the front door. Easy access to the freeway and close to downtown Yakima. Highly recommend this hotel

« Great for an overnight. »

Close to highway and town very convenient for restaurants and gas fill up. Pillows were great at this BW unlike last one we stayed at not that we are that fussy but lumpy pillows can ruin your rest. Staff, Becca, was very friendly and efficient also handled our switch of rooms with professionalism, thanks Becca. We would stay again. "Mel's Diner" would be a great eating place if you like diners with average food at reasonable prices. Not for us if we visit again but I like the name.

« Great place in Yakima »

Always clean and comfortable. Convenient to the freeway either going north or south. Good place to stay if your are going over the mountains. Be sure to check the weather before travel but Spring and Summer can be great.

    « Not too bad.... »

Motel front desk staff aren't the friendliest. Rooms are clean and TV reception great. Hot tub was nice, but using the pool was out of the question as they keep it at a very chilly temperature, making it virtually unusable. We saw families with kids who were disappointed because of that. Hallways tend to be a bit loud when doors are being closed. It sounds like they're slamming them.

« Very Happy with my stay »

We checked in around 9 pm. The front desk person was very helpful and checked us in quickly and without any problems. she was very helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was good and had a variety of food to choose from. Overall I was very happy with my stay.

« Easy to find close to fabulous Downtown Yakima »

First time staying in Yakima this property was recommended by a friend. Spent two nights here and had a lovely restful stay. Our room was updated and modern, everything worked fine. Great TV lineup for relaxing before sleeping in the most comfortable bed and soft fresh sheets. Less than a mile from Downtown Yakima We discovered excellent modern dining, quite frankly one of the best meals I've had, at Cowiche Canyon Ice House. Nice full hot breakfast fully stocked until it closed. Just a great experience all around. Thanks to Katie and Al! See you next time.

    « Good value »

I was a little nervous about staying here based on some of the other reviews I read about singed carpeting and poorly cleaned rooms. I found this hotel to be surprisingly nice (perhaps because I went in with lower expectations). The room was quite clean and well decorated. Bed was comfy. Everything worked. Internet was fast - which has never happened in my history of staying at any hotel. And it seemed that they had many options for breakfast. The elevator seemed a little sketchy... but I didn't up in a fiery crash, so I guess it's ok.

« Clean room, friendly staff »

Our room was clean, stayed here for 3 nights for an area conference. Yes, our room did have an odd smell, it just wasn't awful. We had a problem with our toilet, Jose came to fix it and was so kind. Very friendly. They should put him at the front desk as he seemed to know the area well. We did the hot tub, it wasn't hot, just warm but still was relaxing for a short time.

« bathrooms suck, tv doesn't work and breakfast is terrible »

this hotel does not live up to the BW Plus model. The TV in our room was not operational and unfortunately we did not discover this until it was later and we wanted to watch a bit of TV before going to bed, we called the front desk and was told they would call back in 3 minutes, they called back almost an hour later at 12:30 AM and woke us up. I told the front desk in the morning and instead of making any apologies for this they said "thanks we will be sure to fix that for the next guest" - that's hilarious... good for them but really? and the bathroom in our room was in a bad state, the tub surround was cracked and there was a black like substance in the corners on the floor - one lamp in our room had no light bulb and breakfast was sub par. The sausage was mealy and the waffle mix was out and when we pointed this out (it was only one hour into the breakfast service) they did not refill it and we got tired of waiting. McDonald's down the street had better breakfast. the area also while convenient to the freeway is kinda icky and the hotel had either a freeway view or a view of a wood fence - will not return

    « Great hospitality »

I stopped here after a long day in the road with no reservation. The hotel clerk, Becca, was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, bed comfortable...the hallway gets a little noisy at night with the ice machine right outside my door and you could hear folks talking.

« not happy will not recommend »

the room smelled and the pool was ice cold screaming kids in the hot tub at 10o,clock PM people running up and down the halls at all hours of the night will not recommend to any friends or family to stay

    « Great Hotel »

All of the staff was fantastic...We were here for a family funeral we had 21 rooms in the Yakima Lincoln Best Western. The only thing I would change would be the business computer. It needs to be confiqured to the printer. Katie-Rebecca-Raquel-and all the staff rock... Kelly Moss

« Nice stay when you find it. »

Clean, comfortable beds. Looks a little dated but fine for a brief stay. Liked the shower, good flow and lots of hot water. The building numbers on 1st St are not consecutive. they start high in to the North then somewhere around the 1200 block they start to go up again, Using GPS coordinates worked where the address didn't when using the Garmin.

« My son and I had a great experience here »

What an awesome place to stay. The food was great and had a lot to choose from. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was Very clean, very comfortable, and very safe. I will highly recommend this place for your next stay.

« They take dogs but lots of vegetation with thorns nearby. »

This property takes dogs. However, I didn't see a designated potty area. The area has a lot of goat heads (which have thorns) and got stuck in my dogs paws. The rooms were nice enough. If you have a dog, you really need to watch where your dog is walking.

    « Great Stay. »

Thanks to Rebecca, Jose and all the reception staff our stay was super. Room newly renovated, clean and nicely decorated. We would stay there again if we are in the area. BUT beware of Golden Moon Chinese restaurant just down the road from this hotel. We just wandered in and should have asked about it from hotel staff first. I have eaten at bad Chinese restaurants but this one was the worse ever. They used brown minute rice for fried rice nothing else in it. The Sweet and Sour pork looked and tasted like it had sat on a plate for days. Yuck!

    « Good Stay »

Employees were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Rules for Adult swimming not followed. We mentioned it. The room was nice, service was good. Room and parking was very handy and good location.

« Great last minute stay »

We stopped on our way home from a vacation. We were able to walk in and make reservations for that night. The rooms were nice, comfortable beds, everything was clean. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. The dining area was clean. I was with my parents and 2 teenagers. No complaints, we would definitely stay again!

« Great pool and breakfast »

The pool was the perfect temperature for unwinding with my little one. Most pools are too cool and I end up back and forth between the hottub and pool quite a bit to keep warm but I didn't really want to go into the hottub much at this hotel and we really enjoyed the breakfast. The TV guide in the guest handbook didn't jive with the channels so it was a little difficult finding the childrens programs. The hotel was updated recently and was really clean. I would stay there again if I end up on that route (97) again.

« It is a PLUS, and it does shine with the BW Brand. »

This was my first time at a B.W. Plus property, I've been a long time supporter of Best Western properties and to this point had not stayed at this type. The rooms are quite nice, the breakfast was quite impressive, and considering the neighborhood and other choices nearby, this place stands out and alone as the nicest and safest choice. I was in town for a wedding and the front desk was really accommodating helping me find the venue and food since it had been a long trip. If you haven't tried the PLUS experience, I highly recommend you give it a night or two.

    « Enjoyed our stay »

This was our first time at this hotel and would definitely come back. Joshua at the front desk was so helpful from suggesting the top floor as they were full and there were a lot of families with children on site. He asked if we wanted to be called when the cookies were ready. We declined but how thoughtful. Room was very nice, breakfast was good and the hotel is close to the freeway for ease of travel but not noisy.

    « Vacation. »

Free breakfast, Hot tub, pool. Free WIFI, Close enough to restaurants and shopping. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Only issue I had was the family staying above us. There were open rooms available so it would have been nice if people with small children (who tend to have tons of energy and like to jump off beds) were placed on the 1st floor.

    « Honor Choir Trip »

Great time at this hotel! Great service. Very friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Nice pool and hot-tub. Delicious, plentiful breakfast. We will definetely be returning to the same hotel next time! Thanks Best Western, for helping to make our daughters State Honor Choir trip so wonderful!

    « I'd probably visit again... »

Friendly staff, the hot tub and the free breakfast were the highlights of our stay. I had expected a little higher quality beds, bedding and overall appearance. The pool was enjoyable but quite cool. I wish they would bump up the temperature so our kids could enjoy it more than 15 minutes. Overall, a good place to stay.

« Great Place in Yakima »

I'm not of TV person but send a lot of time on laptop and is the main reason for my stay here. I have been to other hotels and some sister hotels with internet issue but not here which is the reason I will continue to choose this one.

« Great place to stay »

We have stayed there for volleyball tournements several times. Nice, clean continental breakfast that is easy to quickly get in and out of for the kids. Pool is very clean and nice, rooms are a great sizee for a large family as well.

« Extended Hand to a Person, who is in Hospice Care »

Appreciated that they extended a helping hand, to my brother who is in Hospice Care, to allow his little family to bring in the New Year, together. His children to this visit like a vacation, and had such a nice time, with the indoor swimming pool. We are for ever grateful. Thanks again.

    « Two-legged folks will be pleased »

I needed to attend a funeral in Yakima (about three hours away from home). My wife and kids tagged along because it was a holiday weekend and our time together is precious. Because they came, so did our two small dogs. I couldn't find a place to book the dogs online, so I declared them at check-in. I was hit with a surprise $15.00 pet fee. Now, usually I don't mind that whatsoever. But you won't find a single pet amenity at this hotel. Not even a patch of grass for them. There is no place to walk the animals down the street. It just isn't made for pets. The rest of the hotel is OK. The service by the employees is top-notch. My kids loved the indoor pool and spa. The breakfast was good-- diverse menu options; typical of a motel. The room showed its age. The phone cord kept coming out of the hand receiver when I called the front desk to check-out. The paint is in pretty rough shape in the bathroom around the shower. But we didn't come here for a luxury experience. Still haven't figured out why this is a "PLUS."

« Great place to spend time with grandchildren in the winter »

We took our grandsons here a couple days before Christmas to have some time with them and to give their parents time to get ready for the holiday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Having access to the indoor pool gave us a place to play and exercise and the breakfast room is a great place to play card and board games during the day.

    « Clean and quiet »

It was very much on par with other best westerns we use in the northwest and the staff was exceptional here. No problems and we will stay there again. Had our two dogs with us and they made a special effort to give us a downstairs location. The grounds were nice and clean as well.

« Staff professional, friendly, and helpful. »

Good location, exceeded our expectations at a good price. Staff, (Josh, ) helped us with orientation. Great place to overnight when in Yakima. Recommended Bobs burgers nearby for good food and, service at a reasonable price. We enjoyed our evening. Great choice of beers, and good happy hour.

    « Comfort Problems »

Could not really view the TV from any place other than the bed. TV located inside a Enclosure and was bolted down and did not pull out - I moved the entire Enclosure in order to view TV from chairs or Desk

« Too many problems, not recommended! »

We have been Best Western customers for many years, but this we will most likely not return to this particular hotel. Our problems with this hotel started before we left our home town. I phoned the hotel to make a few inquiries, but there was no answer. I then called the Best Western 1-800 number and booked two nights. I did the first night on BW points and was told what my rate was for the second night. I received a written confirmation. When we got to the hotel, the problems started to unravel: 1) The hotel only had our reservation for 1 night 2) We were told the written confirmation I had for the second night was not valid and would have to pay a much higher rate. When I spoke with the manager, her only concern seemed to be to "protect the employee" and to "protect the owner". At no time did she say anything about protecting the customer. She eventually agreed to honour the rate that I was given when I booked the room. 3) This morning when I asked to speak with the manager. She was out. I was then told that we did not have enough points for the free night, despite receiving written confirmation several days earlier. Staff contacted the 1-800 reservation folks and seemed to get things straightened out. I asked for something in writing (as is customary when staying at any hotel) to back up their statement that I would not be charged anything beyond the original agreement. They would not give me anything, but reassured me that there would be no surprises on the bill tomorrow. I asked that the manager contact me when she returns. 4) I asked for the contact information for the owner and the corporate office, but was told that it was confidential! Absolutely bizarre! Why would this be secret? Wouldn't the owner like to know about these sorts of problem?

« Rooms with a view on trailer park. »

Needed to overnight in Yakima and we often stay in a Best western hotel. This was our least favorite of all the Best Western hotels we stayed over the years. Reasons: First of all; We had a view on a trailer park and the mobile homes were almost connected to the hotel. Not really nice view. second; It feels like it is an old hotel where for years people were allowed to smoke in the rooms. I say that , because. It still has a sigaret smoke in the room; like the walls are penetrated with it. So if you have troubles with that, like I have, I recommend to not use this hotel. And the foyer and breakfast room almost knows 1 color... brown!!. Everything is dark brown; ceiling, floor, walls, tables and chairs. Very depressing. 21 light points,,,,, breakfast is good and the room is clean.

« Great Place for Yakima Visitors »

This hotel is clean, centrally-located, and offers many quality amenities that make it one of the best deals if staying in Yakima. My most recent visit was for business, but I have stayed here in the past with my wife and always find the quality of the facility to be outstanding, especially the free breakfast, internet, and pool/gym. It is also pet friendly for those who sometimes bring their furry friend with them.

    « Great experience »

We had an enjoyable visit with no problems, We would definitely stay there in the future. It was a little farther from the destination, but close to the freeway. It was quiet and the food was good. The only negative that we experienced is that being in the heart of apple country, the apples were soft and tasteless in the midst of the apple harvest season. I think they were left over from last season. Too bad as the Yakima apples are the best!

« Vacation Travel West Coast, USA »

Everytime we travel the west coast, USA, to visit our Son and Family, in Yakima, Washington, we stay at the Best Western Lincoln Inn. It has always received an "Excellent" overall rating. The entire staff always go the extra step to make your stay an enjoyable one. It is a "Pet" acceptable property. Should you find yourself in the area of Yakima, Washington, give it a visit.

« Little attention to detail »

We arrived on a weekend when there was a large sporting event in town. Thus hotel prices were inflated as might be expected. Of course I understand supply and demand but when paying $130 for a basic hotel room on a weekend when the town is full of people sets up certain expectations. Upper end hotels in town were even more costly, so in some ways this was on par with the market. The pool was down. Hotels should notify their guests by email when a major amenity that is important to families is non functional. The clerk told us that the pool "may" be ready the next day which was clearly no realistic when we observed the state of the pool. I'm not certain if she was delusional or if that is just the standard response. There was no offer for partial compensation which is poor customer service. The breakfast was sub standard. There was no fruit options available which is not helpful when traveling with kids or families. The room was spacious and quite clean. The staff was friendly. This is a decent option for staying in Yakima. It's not in the best neighborhood but we felt safe and everything you need to close by. Overall I'd say this property is ok but not quite up to the standards I've come to expect for other best western hotels

    « Great Stay! »

We stayed here for a few days to visit family and friends. What a great place to stay! The room was comfy, quiet and the beds were wonderful to sleep on. The staff was very friendly and always smiling. We had a little trouble with our room key, but no fault of the hotel (my son is magnetic). Breakfast was great as well and offered lots of choices. We will definitely be back!

    « Average »

We've been in a few excellent Best Westerns ... and more than a few terrible Best Westerns. This one was in between. Staff were very pleasant ... and we appreciated the evening check-in cookies. But the facilities were a bit tired and dark. The biggest problem we had was at 6 a.m.--when the coffee machine in the dining room was not working! Really? So we started the day without caffeine. Not a big deal...unless you love your morning java !

    « Superb overnight stop »

I was travelling from the east coast of Canada to British Columbia via the USA and this hotel was an overnight stop. It was close to the freeway and everything was perfect - staff, room, breakfast. Especially the attentiveness of the lady looking after breakfast - superb.

« Friendly staff and convenient location »

Front desk personnel were courteous, friendly and efficient. Room was clean and well appointed. Quality of construction as evidenced by tile work in bath and elevator slightly sub-par. Heating system was quiet and effective and did not keep us awake at night. Location convenient to freeway but in seedy part of town. We have stayed there twice and have been satisfied with the experience.

« Nice hotel for the money »

Great service. All employees I met were very pleasant and helpful. Clean room. Cookies served in the afternoon!! Continental breakfast is OK. Not bad, but nothing special. Juice is very watered down or poor quality.

« Not up to scratch »

I frequently stay at Best Western Plus hotels, and am a fan of the brand. However, this hotel didn't make the grade. While staff were friendly, the amenities were sub-par. There were no visitor materials at the front desk, e.g. local maps and guides. The limited breakfast hours (6-9 am) and small breakfast room meant people couldn't be seated over the weekend. This wireless internet access was poorly implemented, with log-in and security credential problems. The TV wasn't set up correctly for HD.

« Yakima Best Western Lincoln Inn »

While a bit overpriced this is a very clean and very nice hotel. Service was excellent and the amenities were great. If you have a pet don't look for a grassy area though. The pet area is all rocks and gravel. The pet poo bags run out frequently but are promptly replaced if you only ask. If you smoke the smoking area is conveniently located outdoors but there is no smoking indoors at all. I had no issues whatsoever with vagrants. I always felts safe. If you're a late night person like me desk clerks are friendly and will keep you company.

« Not a PLUS in my book... »

Check in people were very nice. Nothing special about this place or this town. Room was a little disorganized. Lamps askew, things left from other guests, no kleenex. Was clean enough, I guess, just nothing special to report. Breakfast was same as every other BW, eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. It was just ok. Was not impressed with Yakima or the locaction of the hotel. Not in the best part of town, or maybe there is no best part. Didn't stay to find out. Won't be thing my husband says is that it is located across the street from the Harley Davidson store. My best thing to say is that they have fresh apples in this town..It was apple harvest season.

« Average place for above average prices, don't bother »

Why this place is designated Plus is a mystery to me. Nothing here is above average including a very mediocre breakfast buffet (stayed at the Best Western Cascadia Inn in Everett many times and everything about that place beats this including a great buffet). The hot tub wasn't working my entire 4 day stay and they didn't seem too concerned about it for the entire 4 days. The toilet almost overflowed; tons of TV stations but no guide of any kind and the numerous stations with blank screens weren't deleted so channel surfing was a pain. Had to go get both my keys redone as neither would open the door the 3rd day. Going back to Howard Johnson's which is $20 less a night and a little better than this place in every way.

    « Great value »

Our stay at this hotel was very good. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast room/food was very good. It was centrally located to local restaurants and easy to get to from the freeway. The only down side was the bicycle in the exercise room was not working properly.

« Will not Return to Stay here »

Has many nice things about the hotel, but rooms are not ALL completely updated !! Breakfast service is FAIR at best !! Not much left to choose from and the wait person was not refilling any of the selections any longer even though there was still over 45 minutes left of breakfast service, and the hotel staff was able to go into the kitchen area and eat whatever they liked even if the guest were not offered it any longer, and much of the staff were allowed to come and eat with the guests even at times finishing what was left and not leaving anything for the paying guests.

« Clean Hotel for the price »

Decent hotel with standard breakfast items available. Good value to price paid. The location is near the freeways and all locations are nearby. We went to experience the Yakima Fresh Hops Festival, which was great and should be experience by all.

    « Exceptional staff »

The young man at the check-in counter was extremely helpful and friendly. My husband is handicapped and he went out of his way to assist. The room was average, but very clean and the bed was comfortable.

    « Great Hotel »

clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows, nice employees. Good shower pressure.Nice breakfast. Snacks out at night. Nice Tv and couch to relax and watch a movie at night. Good coffee machine. Nice indoor pool
