1. Good location for old town 2. Room large and functional 3. Nice hot water shower 4. Dinner was better than we had expected 5. Breakfast was very good 6. Parking is right out front for 70 Would stay again
My second time at this hotel and again I found it to be of a high standard. Rooms are clean and spacious and staff are pleasant and helpful. Very close proximity to the square which is full of bars and restaurants. I recommend a visit to the Whiskey in the Jar for a meal.
The Windows could not be opend, there was a strand odeur in the hotel. We were there for Just one nite and the weather was good so we tried to stay out off it as long as possible. But we liked the guy at the parking place it was real strange seeing him sitting in huis little office......
I'll start with the positives: 1. The location is great, in the Old Town, close to the Market Square, which is vibrant. 2. The hotel is clean. 3. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The negatives were: 1. As other people have mentioned, the windows don't open. 2. For me the worst thing was the bed was hard and uncomfortable. 3. Dated bathroom, bad light for doing make up and the shower head wouldn't stay in the holder properly. 4. The breakfast; there was a wide selection of food, but not much for British taste. Chicken legs, cauliflower and broccoli seemed an odd addition to breakfast. There was plenty of bread, fruit and cereal however as well as pastries. Would I stay here again? Probably not.
Good enough as service and as breakfast providing, although a little unbalanced in favor of the continental menu. But the fact that all the windows of this hotel are firmly sealed, both in the rooms and in the common spaces, makes the sojourn objectively uncomfortabe. Everynow and than a human being needs to open a window and breathe some fresh air, for God's sake! I presume that this choice must be someway legal, otherwise the hotel could not be open, but it is extremely questionable and doesn't create a comfortabe atmosphere.
This hotel is in the perfect position for the town, my room was lovely, large and clean. The staff were all polite and helpful, breakfast was good with a large choice. I would definitely go there again if I go to Wroclaw again
Very good location, close to Wroclaw main square. Very clean and tidy. Could do with a lick of paint and a bit of a refurb. There's a certain “smell” when you first enter the hotel. Nothing unpleasant but a bit damp? I was in room 115. Quite noisy as teams passed but ok during the night or until 05.45. Would I return? If I had to!
A central but quit hotel with a efficient stuff, justst 10 minutes by foot from the square A big and clean room with a very good breakfast and service. I will recomand to my friends, when next timke in Wroclaw.
Hotel is in a great location and good value for money, as includes breakfast. Alesandra in reception was absolutely appalling in term of customer service and welcoming .She's argumentative, passive aggressive and downright rude. Bar her, the rest of reception staff were great.
Great location, just a short stroll off the main old town square. Reception area a little small and dark but to be expected in these old town buildings. Reception staff was welcoming and friendly and even allowed me into the room when I arrived early. Room was clean and had all the facilities I required. I didn't get an opportunity to try the breakfast as I had an early flight the following morning. I did have a problem on check out where the receptionist asked me for a Credit Card to pay for the room. I explained that the room was pre-paid at time of booking weeks prior, and showed my booking confirmation. At the time he agreed, but then subsequently charge my credit card anyway as I stepped into the Taxi for the Airport. It left a bitter taste in my mouth and marred an otherwise nice stay in this beautiful city.
The hotel is convenient to the old town and within minutes of walking. Also quite nice to walk from here along the sides of the canal. Staff really helpful and no problems with room - always a plus from me that there's a bath. Breakfast good too.
Stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Very close to Rynek, the heart of Wroclaw. The breakfast was very good and staff friendly. The room was pretty big and faced the river Oder. The bed was quite hard, but we managed to sleep.
Large room but old fashioned. Suitable for our need. There is a car park at the rear of the hotel but I had to ask where it was as staff did not volunteer this information. Free parking on the streets at the weekend so there is no point paying for car park at this time. Breakfast was good and there was a variety. We were not offered any cooked breakfast by the serving staff so I guess you have to ask if you want it. Main gripe was that there was not a working extractor in the bathroom so it was very steamy after we both had showers. Very good location only short walk to main square.
Personel very kind and helpful. Just one thing irritated me - why the cleaning service took towels when they were hung on hooks on purpose? This is not ecofriendly as the hotel claimed to be. In addition, not only i was taken the towels i wanted to keep using, but i was not provided new ones. Gosh....
A very modern and smart Best Western Hotel, we had room 205, a spacious room with a queen size bed and 2 armchairs. Very good breakfast, Continental and English. Nice historic side road and excellent traditional pub/cafe opposite the restaurant of the Hotel. Unfortunately the windows in the Hotel do not open at all and the air con was to no effect whatsoever. The room was too warm and we had an allergic reaction ( cough and runny noses) each morning.
The hotel was adequate, but nothing special. Compared to other accommodations in Poland, the room was small and the drapery/blinds pulls didn't work. The breakfast room was cramped, altho the food was good. My stay was included as part of my all-inclusive tour, but I checked the rates for private travelers and thought they were high by Polish standards. Location is good. I traveled solo with a Real Poland Tour Group.
The room was clean and comfortable exept the fact that you can't open the window and get some fresh air. So we always opened the door to make an old carpet smell to fly away, not always convinient... There are several bus ant tram stations nearby so you can easily get everywhere. And the main square is close too (few minutes walking). Breakfast is european usual but nice and very good restaurant inside the hotel (we ate pasta several times, was very tasty).
To summarize: the location is great, the staff friendly, the breakfasts are very very good (scrambled eggs on demand) and the price for this hotel is very good in comparison to the other places, we also had a discount. On the negative side: windows in the hotel do not open (somebody wrote that here so I was aware, can confirm), the bathroom had no air fresheners (it's not a standard in every hotel), the SPA was not working, the water in the showers next to the sauna was ice cold, the car park is 60 PLN per 24 hrs. The hotel is a 4 star hotel but in my opinion it should be 3 stars. As a review I would have given 3 stars, but when I complained to the staff about the SPA they gave me some compensation. In my opinion 3.5 stars would be the most fair review, but TA does not have a mark like this. Overall - OK.
This place is well located for the main square. The rooms are a reasonable size and are clean and tidy. The staff are excellent and are very helpful and attentive and friendly. The breakfast has a good selection and gives you a good start to the day.
It is standard Best western. There is old furniture and also bathroom. In hotel room, there is missing safe and it is not possible to open window (when you have a shower, smell is there a hours) Breakfast - it is really excelent. Also room equipment was excelent, but still: used. PS: under bed - there were centimeters of dust, but it is a standard mistake for lot of hotels.
The room was nice and spacious. The staff was very helpful and nice. We managed to park right in front of the hotel on the street - but it seemed like a good luck. Wroclaw is so full of cars and you wouldnt be able to park easily. Hotel has its own parking for 60 PLN per night. Full minibar, kettle with coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast was amazing! Choice of warm and fresh food like cheeses, boiled eggs, ham, fruit, vegetable, cereals, bread, rolls, etc... and it is until 11:00 :) which is great if you like to get up late.
The hotel is situated in a good place of town and easy to use as a base on foot. Hotel reception was pleasant and staff on front desk really friendly. Sadly that's the good points over. Rooms really dated with no working air conditioning or opening windows. We requested the heating to be turned down as you couldn't adjust it in the room. We tried to even settle on a fan just to do something but the hotel didn't even have those. It was a last minute decision to go here and wish I hadn't. Safe to say I won't be staying here again.
Hotel is greatly located, few steps from Rynek but on a quiet street. Reception staff is very responsive to all your needs. Breakfast - limited variety of cold cuts, some sausages, soup, muesli&serials, few types of youghurt , some fruits. Although it's fairly enough, it's smhowe unenthusiastic. Rooms: spacious, bit outdated, but in that part of the city it's even charming. However, the biggest problem is the air conditioning in the rooms. It is centralized and definitely old, in my opinion, so in the room , no matter how you change temperature, the only thing you really can do - it's turn it off. Windows cannot be open. So - when it's heated, there's no air at all . It makes your skin dry and your sleep uncomfortable. So hotel is pretty, but without the air...(((
Stayed for four nights. Brilliant location close to the main square with its selection of brilliant restaurants. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and pleasant. Breakfast pretty standard hotel fare. Hot watar a bit sporadic, if ofher users are 'on-line'! Wifi excellent.
You can't beat the location just steps away from the town square (Rynek) and within walking distance to many sights in town. This hotel has probably seen better days when it comes to decor and modern features but for being quite old it's well kept. The bar area is dark and not very inviting. We had a double room on the second floor. It was clean but the bathroom was very cold and had an institutional feel to it. I can't stand carpeted floors, but they are everywhere so wisely I bring indoor shoes when I travel. Walls must be thin, because you here everything going on next door! Breakfast was sufficient and had everything you would expect . My daughter loved the freshly baked bread. This hotel is a good choice for staying in the city center and since breakfast is always included and good,I will choose this hotel again. Staff was if not to friendly at least very polite, and they did speak English.
Visited in February for 4 nights and hotel in excellent location just off the main square in Wroclaw. Rooms a little dated however for money paid can have no complaints and breakfast was very good. Staff all very helpful and sauna was another positive for the hotel. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
We stayed here for 3 nights in May and the weather was glorious. The hotel is in the centre of the old town. Just step outside and you are surrounded by architecture, interesting places to visit, restaurants and of course the main square. The room was a good size with tea and coffee provided and even some English channels on the TV. The air con was great which is an important aspect for me.Free WiFi that actually worked was a hit for us. The bathroom was large and the only downside was that it was a shower over the bath rather than a proper shower but that's me being picky! Breakfast was amazing. So much choice of both hot and cold food and plenty of it. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and well maintained. A little old fashioned in decor but that goes with several Polish hotels and restaurants we have been to. We would certainly return and recommend this especially if, like us, you enjoy walking the city and then having a huge choice of restaurants and bars close by in the evening.
I spent two nights in this nice hotel in Wroclaw city centre during a short business trip. Not my first time in this city, but first time in the Best Western Prima hotel. It is very well located to enjoy the nice old city (in 3 minutes you are in the city central square), but being on the borders of the central area is as well good to reach the office via Taxi or public transport. The room was quite big (I got a double room) and clean; furniture was extremely simple and "low profile" I would say, but this is not my main concern when travelling for business. I got anyway all what is needed. The breakfast service has been excellent and the room where it was held extremely nice. Very wide choice, high quality, warm atmosphere. The best start of the day you can have before a day in the office. Last but not least, the personnel at the reception has always been kind, fast and open to help for all the needs I had. Overall a short but fairly good experience!
I visited Best Western Prima Hotel over Easter. It's a well located hotel just a minute or two from the main square with very polite and helpful staff. My room was what they call "oversized" and was overlooking the main road and river. If it bothers you there could be some noise from traffic and trams from rooms located in this position. There were three windows in my room so it felt light and airy although I think the air conditioning wasn't turned on at this time of year. The King size bed had a King size bottom sheet which was slightly spoilt by having two single quilt covers on top but I am told that this can be commonplace. Nevertheless, a comfortable room that was kept spotlessly clean. Kettle, tea and coffee are provided and replenished and the same with bathroom toiletries. Extras of both can also be obtained from reception. The TV in my room only had three English channels but I didn't come to Wroclaw to watch TV. Wi-Fi in the room, which was free, was excellent. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a wide choice of food, some hot, and scrambled or fried eggs would also be done to order if required. Because it was Easter some restaurants that I wanted to try were closed so I tried a steak in the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately it was a "formed" steak, i.e. manufactured into a specific shape, and therefore not very appealing. This was my only real let down at the hotel. All in all this hotel made a lovely choice for a weekend break. Wroclaw itself has a lovely square and the elves dotted around are so cute. However, there wasn't much else to do unless you plan trips so, much as I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, for this reason I won't be back. However, when planning new trips I will definitely consider staying at other Best Western hotels based on my experience at the Prima Hotel.
We were a group of six that stayed here for three nights. Breakfast was the big winner at this hotel, together with a friendly and helpful staff! The rooms looks neat and tidy, but the air conditioning really needs a work-over! Some in our group had to change room after the first night since it became too hot to sleep, and the windows couldn't be opened........
A very nice hotel, central but just far enough out of the main area not to be noisy but the trams going past my room, which was at the back of the hotel, were a bit annoying. Staff are extremely helpful and the included breakfast is good value with everything you want.
We stayed three nights - The hotel was good, room was clean and specious, breakfast had good choice and nice dinning area. Location of the hotel is good, everything could reach in walking distance. Personnel was also good and friendly.
The hotel is located within the borders of the old town. There is a large paid hotel car park in front of the hotel. Rooms are high, big and clean, but not very fresh. Check-in and check-out were fast. Service attentive and efficient. Breakfast tasty. The restaurant is large and quite good, but probably not very popular as we were alone at the dinner.
Great location right next to many restaurants, bars and sights. The staff were extremely helpful and their English was very good. My only downside was I dropped one of my medication tablets on the carpet and it rolled under the bed. I had to move the bed to get it and was completely shocked and almost felt sick at how dirty the carpet was below the bed. It seemed as though that piece of carpet had not seen a vacuum cleaner in years. I know it's not an area that people see but come on.... I had no option but to dust off my tablet as it was the last one I had for my blood pressure. The sauna and jacuzzi in the basement was like a janitors cupboard with paint pots lying around and the sauna was not on and neither was the Jacuzzi, I was told at reception that I have to give them one hours notice so they can switch it on!!!! Also I have mobility problems with stairs and there was no elevator to the basement. Well, so much for paying that bit extra for access to a health suite.. The breakfast could not be faulted, huge selection of cold and hot choices and again staff were brilliant. Mixed review on this one sadly!!
We stayed 3rd to 6th March and got a great rate of £40 per night B&B. Hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Square and central to everywhere. We arrived early morning and our room was not ready, so ditched our bags and went exploring. We came back at 12.30 and our room was ready. It was a lovely spacious room overlooking the river and had been refurbished. It had a good hairdryer, complimentary toiletries and free wifi. My only problem was I found the bed very hard. It was fine for my husband. I asked to change room and reception could not have been more helpful. They let me see 2 other rooms ( both had the same beds, so no point in moving), they did however provide additional quilts to lie on which helped a bit. Breakfast was from 7-11 and there was a fantastic selection available. Eggs cooked to your requirements if requested. All staff we came in contact with were so pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wroclaw. We got a taxi from the airport which cost 60 zloty and booked a taxi through the hotel to take us back to the airport which only cost 45 zloty??
A group of 15 of us stayed here for 3 nights . It's a great hotel & brilliantly located only about 5 min walk to main Square . Excellent breakfast. Great room service and very friendly reception staff .
Stayed here for 3 nights(Fri-Mon) in a double room with a Queen sized bed. I personally hound the mattress hard. Only one duvet that didn't hang down side so was too short. Asked for a second duvet and one was dropped up right away.Staff very helpful and curteous. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast but had everything you could want. This hotel is ideally situated from square(about 1 mins walk). Only slight negatives was that the hotel bar closes really early even at weekends (10-10.30ish). As other reviewers mentioned the hot water was an issue depending upon when you showered in the morning. We went for breakfast and showered after breakfast and water was hot.Shower pressure not great but adequate. No windows to open so could be hot in Summer. But it was absolutely fantastic value for money and only really slept and ate here as you normally do on a short city break. I would definitely stay here again due to the fantastic value and location and friendly staff. The minor negetives were nothing off-putting.
If you are looking for a nice hotel, thats friendly , clean and in a central location then This is a good choice. The decor in the rooms could do with a little updating , but kept very well, the breakfast is adequate, something for everyone, I didn't get to try out the fitness area.Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and very professional
There was no hot water on arrival and the situation was the same the next morning. This was very disappointing and inconvenient. It meant an unpleasant shower experience. Pointed this out to check out staff but no refund - only an apology.
Stayed for 3 Nights. Room furniture a little dated but perfectly adequate. Room was a little too hot for me. No opening windows and the air conditioning seemed to be ineffective or not working. Had to open my door to let some cool air in. Situated on main road with trams so if you are noise sensitive ask for a room away from the traffic. I had a room which overlooked the road but the noise didn't worry me. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Gym was antiquated. I suspect it would be rarely used because the equipment is so old. Hotel well located on the edge of the old town. It is about a 5 minute walk to the old town city centre. Some very very good nearby restaurants which you pass as you make you way into old town. Hotel had its own open air car park which was attended during the day. Parking fee very reasonable Despite the "criticisms" the hotel is excellent value for money. Would I stay here again: YES.
We had a quiet and large room. The TV did not offer a lot of cable channels and we sorely missed the news of the US campaign. My wife slept badly and kept asking me: what is the last outrageous thing done or said by Mr Trump? I tried to buy a Polish paper to find out (I know somewhat the language) but discovered only that the present Polish government is desperately trying to imitate Mr. Trump and to return to the style of nationalistic government the country had in 1938. Breakfast was excellent and served in a succession of small rooms which allowed to eat in peace. Coffee was served by a waiter rather than by an inefficient machine as in a Novotel Cracow hotel. I recommend this place but do not expect a thrilling place.
In choosing the the Best Western Prima I was guided by location, reviews, price and the fact that breakfast was included. The location turned out to be excellent - less than five minutes walk to the Market Square. Everything about the hotel was clean and in good condition. We enjoyed breakfast each morning although here, as in other hotels, I was left wondering if it is possible to buy muesli with corn flakes mixed through it or is the mixture a cost saving measure? In any case there was a fairly extensive choice of dishes for breakfast. It should be noted that outside the summer season the restaurant is closed on weekend nights but we had dinner there on a Monday and found it tasty, the servings generous, and good value. The staff were helpful and friendly, the WiFi was excellent, and the rooms warm and fully equipped (unless you prefer a bath to a shower). The only minus was a lack of hot water on our third morning but these things happen and a technician was working on the problem.
This hotel is a good option for the old town. The staff is very nice and the rooms are nice overall. The room is a bit older especially in the bathroom. It was clean but could use with a good deep clean in the grout near the toilet. The tiles could use updating as well. The hotel is good overall and is worth a stay especially at it reasonable price. If you would like fresh air, the windows cannot be opened. The breakfast is very good. Parking was fantastic and right next store.
Just had had a long weekend at Prima Hotel Wroclaw. Hotel is not new, and placed in a corner of the Old Town, a good location. Arrived to the Hotel at 1PM and first word from the reception was that check in begin at 2PM, but she will see about our room was free. Got room number 419 at 4th floor, with a good view and a big bathroom with tube. But here was an annoying hum in the room especially at the headboard of the bed, come down to reception to ask for another room, now the reception, not good in English, but there will come one to look at the problem. He started by measuring the temperature and say it was OK, but he do not understand a word of English at all. Next a kind of manager shown up, and after a few minutes we was able to move to room 404, a smaller room, with a small bed 140 cm, and small toilet, and sloping walls, but ok as no noise. The Aircon, was running but not working properly stay at 14 dg. Room was at least 25-27 dg. No windows can be open. Ok for stay in 2 nights. Breakfast was good, but the Hotel bar closed, so no football Poland vs Denmark on a big screen :-( Room was clean. The Aircon are very old and noisefull, staff ok as long as you not had any complaint. Bar often closed, but a lot lot of bars and restaurants around the hotel 5-10 minutes by walking, you can count about 10 bars and 25 restaurants.
We stayed here 2 nights with a Polish American Tour. The hotel is very close to the square and close to many restaurants and bars. Furnishings are cheap. The room we had - a corner room was large compared to many hotels we have stayed in while in Poland. There was a mini bar. Adequate lighting and plugs to charge electronics. Temperature controls were good. They did have a fitness room in the basement and all the equipment worked. There was no room safe and housekeeping/maintenance needs a bit more attention. The shower in room 300 drained very slowly and was dirty and full of hair. Breakfast buffet was not the greatest, but adequate. Fresh fruit was quite nice. Our room was a bit noisy from traffic, but we did sleep ok. Cheap bed with 1 large and 1 small pillow per person.
This hotel is very well located and the staff is very helpful. However there is a major flaw 1) it is absolutely not possible to open the windows AND 2) The climate and ventilation system is outdated and extremely noisy As a result it is not very easy to sleep Especially if the maintenance people of the hotel switch the system to the maximum in the corridor and stairs!!!
Yes, that is true. A Best Western property could be a possible boutique hotel. Those of us who live in the USA think of these chains as low end, a place to crash for the night while on the road. But these chains like Best Western, Holiday Inn, Choice etc have a completely different image outside the USA> They are far more upscale and in some cases like this one, bordering on being a boutique! The location was perfect, the service as friendly and warm as it can get, the room we had was one of the most spacious in Europe, the breakfast was the typical European spread. There was complimentary iced tea and juice near the Reception. The only downside was that wifi was terribly slow. But other than that, this was very good value.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great, just off the main square with atmospheric pubs next door and lots of good restaurants nearby. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but clean with comfortable beds and our room (306) was spacious and quiet. The staff at reception are excellent - helpful, great English and well presented with good attitude. My husband is from Finland so the sauna was a real bonus and we loved to be able to use it. (Ns the jacuzzi) after a hard days sightseeing! Breakfast was good and plentiful and Internet worked just fine. Good value too. We recommend this hotel highly.
The room was clean, small and very nice. Then in the middle of the night the ceiling tile in the entry way fell out. There was obviously some water leaking and caused the problem. The next day they were prompt in cleaning and repairing while we were out. The location is perfect, the price was amazing. It was a wonderful experience, except the ceiling but that was no big deal as it was handled well. The staff was all very friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again.
Modern hotel located close to the main attractions with a friendly and polite staff, and good breakfast. Rooms are good, but the Internet which is weak, and there are sometimes problems with hot water.
We got a great location and so much more when we booked this Best Western hotel in Wroclaw. The parking was easy, convenient, the staff was friendly, and spoke English. Best of all, the hotel has a cozy workout room and jacuzzi area for guests to use at no extra cost. We will book this hotel again. As with many European hotels, request a room with a bathtub if you want one.
We stayed in May and June on two separate trips. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's an oldish building so rooms vary in size. They were clean and a kettle to make tea and coffee can be available. Breakfast is good but they did struggle to keep up on one particularly busy morning. Ideally situated for Rynek.
We stayed here with friends when visiting Wroclaw for the David Gilmour concert. Delighted on arrival to find that the location was literally a few minutes walk from the Rynek (market Square) area. The hotel was very clean and included a free breakfast. We didn't expect much, however the breakfast was superb. Unanticipated bonus was the air conditioning as outdoor temperature hit 39 degrees when we were there so this was a godsend. We would definitely recommend and stay here again. Only thing we found slightly odd was the duvet - it sits squarely on the bed with no overlap at the sides which u wud normally expect. It wasn't an issue, but just odd.
Stayed for 3 nights while visiting cousins nearby. Had a great time hotel very comfortable and breakfasts were really great, staff helpful some spoke good English. The city is really nice and hasso many bridges it is called the second Venice. City tour is a must on the golf carts we had a great time.
This hotel is located a couple of minutes walk from the town square, (which is very nice with some fantastic buildings). This hotel has two good points, it has is own car park and the price is reasonable. The bad points, its in need of updating as it appears to be stuck in the 70's and if you are at the back of the hotel take some ear plugs as the trams go past every 10 seconds and some of the make the bed shake.
Cameral hotel with good localization, no great excelent value, friendly staff and small parking and average breakfasts, average rooms, average atmosfere, average decoration - finally average...no good
We spent less than 60 euros per night, in a nice double room at the fourth floor, very good breakfast included. The location, straight in the centre, is great. Because of this, it would perhaps deserve 5/5 instead of 4/5. However, I found it quite difficult to get accustomed to the bed cover, that was too heavy while there was no light sheet. Also, the hotel faces on a quite noisy street (the fourth floor is alright, anyway).
I visited Wroclaw with my mother (90 years old) and Best Western Prima is very comfortable as it is at a walking distance from the heart of the city. The rooms are all right but stuffy as it is impossible to open the windows. Breakfast is good. A special mention goes to the staff at the reception - especially to Justyna - who went out of her way to give us all the information we needed.
My husband knows how much i like to have a bathtub in our room when we travel. In Europe, you need to request one at hotels. This Best Western had a bathtub in the room plus a nice spa area with its wellness facilities. A sauna, jacuzzi and workout area. Very nice. Friendly service as well. And, great location. We walked everywhere.
I stayed here for two nights and overall was really pleased with the hotel, which was excellent value for money. The location is perfect and the hotel is literally a 2 minute walk to the heart of the Old Town. I had a single room, which had a double bed in but was very much on the small side - that didn't really matter though and it just made it a very cosy space. Although close to the main ring road, I found that noise wsn't an issue at all. The furniture was a little dated but the bed was comfortable and firm and the bedding was comfortable and fresh. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean, right down to the taps in the shower and the tiles throughout the bathroom being spotless and shiny. I did find that the room was a little hotter than I would have liked (the wondows don't open) and even though I had the air conditioning on as high as it would go, that didn't really help too much. Also, the curtains didn't fit right up to the edges of the window, which meant that the room never really got dark. Breakfast was good, with a good choice of both hot and cold food, and they are also happy to make eggs to order. If you're looking for value for money in a great location then you can't go far wrong with this place.
The location is great. However, the hotel is a bit older. The room we were in was extremely hot and we couldn't open the window for fresh air. Therefore, we didn't sleep as good as expected. Breakfast was sufficient. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
This hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was lovely and hotel is quiet. Rooms are quite dates but other than that was all great! Didn't eat at the hotel as so many nice places locally. Rooms and bed is big and a great starting place to explore Wroclaw.
A nice hotel with a private parking in the very centre of Wroclaw, quiet and with tasty breakfasts. I would have given it a MUCH better rating if it wasn't for two main problems. 1) The temperature in the room should be more easily adjustable. We came to Wroclaw to enjoy the Christmas markets, so in December, and the aircon / heater in the room on the first night was working just fine, but on the second day and night it was actually cooling the place down, so we just turned it off. 2) Another big minus is that (at least on the higher floors) you cannot open the windows and the only way you can get fresh air is through the aircon / heater. Please look at the picture to see in what an awful state the aircon in our bathroom was!! There was so much dust on the grid that it was repulsive. Our room was generally quite clean when talking about the daily/weekly cleaning tasks (vacuum cleaning, washing the bathroom tiles etc.) but the place could really do with some big clean-up of places you don't tidy daily (aircon, polishing the lights and switches etc.).
Stayed here for two nights, on our first night we were upgraded to a suite due to the Hotel being full. Great, so much space. On our second night we were in a standard room but lacking towels, towels were arranged but due to a laundry problem there were only two provided. Then the next morning we found that the bath did not drain due to the plug being broken, difficult! Overall though, the impression was good and the location is only 5 minutes walk from the market square.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and was mostly satisfied with how it all went. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Few minor gripes were the fact that the sink was clogged upon arrival and wasn't fixed during the whole stay and the cooked breakfast wasn't great, although the other options made up for this. All in all I'd recommend this hotel for its location and price.
realy great location in terms of that it is realy close to the center and main square. Also great is that hotel has its own parking place (50 zlotých), because there are no free places around thanks to location close to university, square, river and more.
on the edge of the old town minutes away from the square probably the best location in town. room comfortable, breakfast plentiful and good quality, hot and cold selection. At around £40 per night value was very good. only issue we had was only a shower but that a regular if trivial complaint we have. comfortable beds some noise from the trams but not realy an issue otherwise quite enough.
Spent one night here. Room was nice and clean with older furniture but everything well looked after. Beds were comfortable and bathroom large. Breakfast was very nice. Staff friendly. Location is great but its difficult to find ones way to the hotel parking, ask for a map in advance, it will make it easier for you.
Great location just a block away from the main square. Rooms were clean and all air conditioned and comfortable beds. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful ordering taxis etc for us. No tea or coffee in rooms and bar closes early so have a nightcap in the square. Breakfast was typical american with pancakes etc or full english, eggs had to be ordered so allow 20 minutes for an omelette as the white and yolks are beaten separately then folded in so you get a very light and fluffy omelette
We had a lovely stay in Best Western. Got a secured though paid parking. Rooms though old were well sized & bathroom was really big too! Breakfast had a good mix of both hot & cold dishes. Service was good. It also included a complimentary morning tea served in our room . The staff were also friendly Location was very central.. a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the Main Square. Would definitely recommend it and happily stay there again.
The hotel is in a great location near the Rynek in the centre. Well appointed but lacked tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a good selection of cold meats, cheese etc and a small selection of hot food.
Just returned from a four night stay. Clean & we'll kept, very reasonably priced & the breakfast was delicious, particularly the scrambled egg. The room includes a mini bar (at extra charge) a hairdryer, plenty of towels etc. Very well placed for the old town or the river. If returning to this part of Poland would most likely stay here again .
Typical chain hotel set up in a classic building on the edge of the historical city center of Wroclaw. Due to its perfect location (you walk 5 minutes to the main square) it is a good option for business travellers and tourists alike. The rooms are spacious and have the usual amenities.
