Best Western Plus Pembina Inn & Suites

Im finding hotels in wpg getting expensive compared to other cities. The BW was comparable to others around the same area. Rooms were very clean, hot breakfast was very good. Pool was small and shallow.

We booked this hotel for an overnight stay because my son was having surgery and a consult the day before. The staff was extremely accommodating with an early check in and a late check out because of the appointment times. The pool was perfect and clean. Definitely will be back!

Our two dogs had a blast when we stayed for a night. They gave us welcome kits with dog treats. They have a little dog park in their property too. Breakfast is included with an ample selection. Free parking. Friendly staff. Nice pool and jacuzzi.

Very clean rooms. The staff were exceptionally wonderful and made me feel very welcome and like I was staying with friends. I've only ever stayed at one hotel in the past with that kind of atmosphere. They even helped me with my laundry and bringing in my suitcases. Thank you so much!

Great hotel. Clean hotel with friendly , helpful staff. Great breakfast 6-9. Big parking lot with free parking. Pool looks nice but did not use. Wifi strong Nice little gym with televisions , water , towels etc. very quiet at night with very little noise.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed including a fridge and microwave. The breakfast had a good variety of food. I appreciate that it is pet friendly although we were not travelling with a pet

I've stayed multiple times over the last 6months with work. The staff has always been very friendly and genuinely act like they are happy to see you and enjoy their job. This level of customer service is hard to come by these days! They accommodated a last minute meeting space for me which was a huge help! The rooms are clean, bed is very comfy and the breakfast is great with a lot of variety. I love the Nescafé machine in the lobby for a Latte! Will definitely be staying again! It's my “go to” hotel in Winnipeg.

The room itself was good. The tv has no selection of shows and movies. The channels are very are old . We had more channels showing sports. The breakfast does meet the standard as posted on your reviews. Poor selection no fruit cold eggs. The price of $200.00 in the middle of the week is not satisfactory for this old hotel. We will never return to this hotel.

This hotel was very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was excellent clean and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome! I would stay here again. Keurig coffee pot in the room with fridge and microwave. 24 hour coffee downstairs. I would stay here again hands down!

Front desk went over and above with my little man. She gave him a choice of a juice or hot chocolate he is 2 years old. He chose hot chocolate. It made him feel quite special as his older sister and were having a mocha from the coffee machine. Thank you so much for going the extra mile for my little man.

Right from check-in the friendly, courteous staff take good care of you. the breakfast is hot delicious and lots of room to find a table.everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. And the location is easy to get to and get around.

We stayed for four nights just the other week and were very happy with everything. We were very pleased with our king suite - comfortable bed, nice big bathroom along with a kitchenette and living room…very comfortable. My only comment would be to mix up the breakfast a bit - after 3 days of the same scrambled eggs (from a bag I think) we went elsewhere for breakfast. And maybe some fresh fruit instead of canned fruit would be very nice as well.

On a vacation with my adult sons. Had booked this hotel but cancelled it in favor of a townhouse where the three of us would each have our own rooms and beds. What a mistake, it was a dump. Stayed there one night only and managed to secure a king suite for the next two nights. It suited our needs perfectly and we were SO HAPPY we didn't suffer it out in the other place. The sofa bed seemed very new and was my digs for the next couple nights while the boys shared the king. They had their own temperature control which was fantastic since they like it much cooler than me. There was a vanity area with a counter and plug ins outside the bathroom, which was super handy for me to get ready while the bathroom was in use. The boys enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. Breakfast had a nice selection. Fridge and microwave were integrated into an area with several cabinets and a wet bar. Huge shout out to Linda and Jen at the front desk, who went out of their way to make sure I had an enjoyable stay once they heard our first night in Winnipeg was less than stellar. These ladies epitomize quality customer service and set the bar high for warm, friendly and efficient service that exceeds expectations! The room was very spacious and surprisingly quiet, despite being next to a busy highway. The windows are very soundproof. Also heard very little hallway noise despite the fact that there were several teams from a university volleyball tourney. I worried when I passed them in the halls that we'd hear their fun through the eve, but nope-closed the door and all was peaceful. Thank you for a most pleasant stay!

Vacation to shop/zoo/concert. Helpful staff/ clean/tasty breakfast/ gluten free options! Rooms are spacious/ safe area for your vehicle to stay and I would stay again. It was reasonably priced and easy to find.

Always in great shape and we have likely stayed there over 20 trips. Friendly staff, great breakfast, and clean comfortable rooms make it THE place to stay for ll our visits to Winnipeg. Close to good restaurants and shopping.

This was our fifth stay at the property. We really like the rooms, free parking, the waterslide and hot tub, and especially the breakfast. Lots of food and beverage choices. Spacious and clean dining area. Will be back next year!

The hotel is located in a very convenient area and has many restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are spacious and always clean and comfortable. The staff are the most friendly hotel staff and they always take care of us very kindly. Although we have tried more expensive hotels, this hotel has been the most welcoming to us.

I have stayed at many Hotels across Canada and the united states and by far this is one of the better one that I have stayed at .The staff is friendly and very helpful I needed an umbrella and the young lady at the desk was able to accommodate my request

I always make sure I stay at this location , the staff have all been there for years are super friendly and fast ,The hotel is always clean and organized and has a great breakfast, hand sanitizer is always full which I notice in other places is not a priority, great location and I always suggest it to my friends as a great experience away from home

The room was very clean, the staff were friendly, and it was quiet in the evenings. We asked he hotel for extra cleaning in our room to help with a dust allergy, and the room was spotless. Very happy with our stay.

My partner and I arrived without a credit card and were stranded in Winnipeg with my service dog in tow. We booked online and got a room right away, with them graciously allowing us to pay via Debit card. We did not realize we didn't choose a pet friendly room and the staff quickly changed the reservation for us and accommodated us instantly!! All the front desk staff and management were extremely helpful and kind to us. What an amazing experience! I 100% recommend this hotel if you are traveling, the staff are so friendly, kind, and accommodating, they even left a present for my dog on our bed. After a stressful travel day they put our minds at ease and I could not be more grateful.

We had a King suite which was perfect for our family of four.. Only complaint we had was a constant humming noise in the bedroom. The room was next door to the ice making machine which may have been the problem. Breakfast was standard for a Best Western.

Our room was lovely and very clean. We stayed on the night of July 9th and the person on the front desk who helped us (her name might have been Linda?) was friendly, efficient, and very helpful. We needed extra decaf pods and to borrow plates and cutlery; she helped us immediately and cheerfully. Her customer service truly made the the stay more pleasant.

This is a very well kept hotel, extremely clean and the staff are very friendly. I would recommend staying here to my own family and friends. It's also close to restaurants and shops. It's also on the banks of the river.

Very comfortable bed, bed coverings were nice. Staff was very super friendly. Needed directions to a hospital and staff member (Linda) printed maps with directions and explained everything that really helped us.

From the booking to the checking out our experience was very positive - very friendly staff who were willing to help if needed. The food was warm and plentiful with a lot of variety to choose from. Staff there were always cleaning, refilling, etc.

Stayed on the 4th floor. Super quiet. Room was spotless and looks like it was newly renovated (not sure if it was or is just meticulously maintained). Breakfast was pretty standard but totally fine. Front desk staff were really friendly and super personable. First stay here. I generally stay at a Hilton property by the airport but I'd definitely consider staying here again - lovely hotel. Quieter. Aside from distance from the airport, much better accommodations.

The complimentary breakfast was great! The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately we couldn't use the pool facilities due to maintenance, however, we knew this before we even arrived because the hotel called to let us know in time that we could have switched hotels which I really appreciate. Was there for a weekend hockey tournament. Room was quite comfortable, current and clean. Everything worked. Continental breakfast was good, usual hotel breakfast fare. Pool area could of been bigger as was crazy busy with other sports team there but everything looked well maintained. Staff were very nice and always pleasant. Great value for the rate. A date night out turned into a nightmare ! A day after we left the hotel the manager "texted" saying we had damaged the desk and was charging us an extra $258! The mark was there when we checked in but we have no way to prove it ! Terrible customer service as the manager would not work with us on this misunderstanding and had already charged my credit card without discussing with us. Terrible customer service and would never stay here again

Room was clean, staff helpful and breakfast nice. Not a boutique hotel, but great price for the room and breakfast. It also has a fitness centre and pool, which we did not use as that was not the focus/purpose of our stay.

Hotel was nice, clean and breakfast had good options. Staff was friendly. Not a comfortable sleep as mattresses were hard and bathrooms are too small. Water adjusted cold to hot and not relaxing. A little get away but staying home would have been more relaxing

This hotel is not like the pictures. It is very old and dated. Asked for a quiet room and given room with a wall connected to the pool - so loud!! Sounds like elephants in the rooms above, room shook every time someone shut their door around us. Could not get sleep the entire stay and they did nothing to make things better. Breakfast not great. Will never stay here again. Price crazy for what you get.

In the city for a medical treatment and this accommodation is very near, plus they offer a special rate for medical appointments! Free quality breakfast! And very helpful! Pool area as well but did not access this time!

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and staff was very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast place was always kept clean, and food replenished properly. Coffee really good, strong. Helpful to keep the COVID protocols in place too, when guest required that.

CFL western final weekend with my family. We had 2 suites and they are roomy and clean, very comfortable. We have stayed in this hotel several times and have always had a great stay. Great staff, go the extra mile to ensure you are happy. Grandkids had a great time in the pool area. Love the location, close to great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. U of M is just down the stree if attending sporting events.

Friendly, helpful staff make staying here very pleasant. The premises are clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet covers almost anything you could want to eat. It's very convenient to be able to use the meeting room for the day and order in lunch and walk to a nearby restaurant for supper. The beds are very comfy and the hallways and rooms are quiet.

I have stayed at this location twice, once was a suite and once ina standard room. Both were very clean. The suite with the jetted tub was amazing. Would definitely stay again. Great location to shopping and dining as well.

This hotel was a gem on Pembina, easy to access, great parking, a nice pool area, good breakfast and a dog park for our dogs to let off steam! We had a little suite with a kitchenette area, bed and sofa bed. Very comfortable for 3 adults and 2 dogs!

The Best Western on Pembina will be my new go-to hotel when travelling with my fur kids. I really appreciated the on-site fenced dog park and the riverside walking trail accessible from the hotel. Staff were very receptive and attentive to my cuddle bug Golden Retriever, and we both felt very welcome during our stay.

Always a great stay. Curtious staff, clean rooms, great breakfast. Beds are comfy and an easy walk to IG Field. I always recommend the BW Pembina for Bomber games. Particularly like that they don't use disposable at their breakfast buffet.

From the time we entered and met Linda, we knew this would be a good stay. She was friendly, polite and efficient! She felt like a friend! The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet! Breakfast was served hot by Savita who was an excellent hostess! She felt like a friend too! Both of these ladies had good suggestions for meals. All staff were friendly and helpful. As well, the hotel was well situated for shopping or any other type of excursion! We will definitely be staying there again!

With renovated facilities and a kind, caring staff, this hotel is at the top of the list. The room was well laid out and the facilities were modern. The breakfast (which is not important to us) was about as good as you can get with good quality and great service.

On this place on the east side of Winnipeg, conventions in town so this was the first place we could find a room at. Not much to look at from the outside, but not too bad either. It's on a busy street, but the rooms face the parking lots on either side and not the highway. Nice and quiet not an issue. Front desk staff were very very good at helping us out. rooms are clean bathrooms were great, shower was good. Parking is a little tight as I had a half ton pick up truck. Lots of shopping within a five minute radius. We asked about dinner, and were sent to a place called the pony corral next-door. decided to give it a whirl, and on approach to the property were not impressed. My wife said let's have a look anyway, and I'm glad we did. Great patio in the back looking over the river the servers and everything were excellent, and the food was absolutely perfect. Price was very reasonable to I would advise anybody to try the pony corral for food and berries. It was awesome. Hotel staff pointed us in the perfect direction for a good into the night.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Pembina. Clean, comfortable, friendly with great amenities include a free full breakfast with lots of tasty choices. Good location in the east side of Winnipeg. Easy to access from the ring road.

Not knowing Winnipeg at all this Hotel seemed a bit out of the way but it was close to everything we wanted. Costco, Ikea, the Zoo, outlet Mall. The Staff are amazing, very friendly, helpful, and always available. I was very impressed with how nice the Staff were - even though it should be like that everywhere, it's not. Thank you! Good variety of food for breakfast. After a long day there is also tea/coffee available in the front lobby. Need to fill up a water bottle on your way out for the day? Filtered water stand in the lobby is available. The entire parking lot is well lit. Our room was very clean. We stayed in a pet friendly room, although we did not bring our pet and it was nice and clean. The pool was clean and fun for our kids.

I booked this hotel because of good reviews. It is not what was promised. I was told they could not look up my elite status because" I do not know how to do that" .She told me to do it on my own computer. Also told no bottled water so I should go buy some which we did because it was 95 degrees outside. The worst was the breakfast which did not have any fruit, sweet rolls, or yogourt becasue two football teams of teenaage boys booked hotel and ate everything in sight. Also this room was $30.00 more than room we booked on way home with Marriot Bonvey. The Marriot was superb service and full breakfast including someone making omelets. I will not trust reviews again.

Note for runners at end of this review! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel. If you are fortunate enough to get Linda on the check-in desk you will be off to a great start. She told me a great running route and even got me some juice after I finished. A true master of hospitality is our Linda, with a great wit and sense of humor. The rooms were clean, quiet, and roomy. Bed very comfortable. Altogether a top-notch experience. Runners! If you head down to the Red River behind the hotel and head south toward the bridge, the trail at that point is a bit weedy and narrow, but only for about 1/2 km. After that you break out onto a wide grassy dike which is great to run on. When the dike ends, drop down to the gravel path under the bridge and follow it around until you come to a residential street. Turn left and keep running and you will soon wind up on the University of Manitoba campus which, like all campuses, is a great place to run. I took a straight line through campus and reached the edge and turned around, which was a 6 km circuit. However, if you start meandering through the campus or go out onto the city street there is no limit to how far you can go. But the 6 km circuit is a really nice traffic-free run. You will meet lots of other runners and cyclists so you can ask directions if you get confused. Happy running!

Everything was lovely. The reception staff, staff in the dining room (for breakfast buffets) and throughout the building were phenomenal, pleasant and professional!! The room was nice. The only small complaint we had was that the room kind of smelled funny - It was always sort of damp (even with the air conditioner and fan running). It sort of made the blankets feel damp. That's it though. Aside from that we had a fabulous little stay.

We arrived without a reservation due to a mix up at the Holiday inn South who were very rude and unprofessional. The Pembina South was so professional, friendly, and welcoming upon check in. The room was spotless which made us feel secure during the uncertain health times we live in. Internet dependable and the free hot breakfast was excellent. Hot, plentiful and yummy

I had stayed with family years ago and was pleased that the quality of service for this most recent stay was the same as before. Everything worked as you expect it to, staff were very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Location is great for our purposes. I will definitely return when I'm next in Winnipeg.

Room, 326 was really quiet even though there were over 200 people staying at the hotel. Excellent hot breakfast each morning. Great value! This property has the water slides, pool and hot tub which we were not able to use as we were too busy. Sure looked like lots of kids and family were enjoying themselves.

First time back to Winnipeg in about 10 years for a fun visit. Welcomed at checkin and told of all the features and what to expect. Excellent service from all the staff, everything was well maintained and clean. Didn't have a worry about the accommodations which made the trip great!

I stayed here in August and really enjoyed it. The room was nice and clean and quiet and nice breakfast in the morning. The pool was fairly busy so we didnt use it but overall very good experience. The location is good down Pembina with some restaurants in the area and easy drive to corydon

Beautiful room. Very clean! Good sized fridge, much appreciated & nice to have a microwave! Loved the room darkening curtains as I am sensitive to too much light when trying to fall asleep. Easy to locate. Very friendly front staff and quick checkin. Super clean hotel and well-organized. Bigger size mini fridge. Lots of towels, limited toiletries ( and smaller size), spotless bed linens and comfy beds. Would stay here again anytime!

We spent a couple of nights in Winnipeg unexpectedly and we were very satisfied with this hotel. It was very clean, the pool has a fun water slide and hot tub. The included breakfast was great and the location is right on the red river. All in all, great accommodations.

Stayed for business and the hotel is located with easy access to main roads and highways. The staff has gone above and beyond to help me with an issue that I had with a different hotel. Certainly was not in their realm of responsibility but they cared enough to help. They care.

I've been at this BW many times and the stay was great every single time. All the staff whether reception or at the breakfast goes always above and beyond. Rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is nice.

This was a day before booking for 5 rooms plus the Salon for an after funeral gathering for family, as our mother had passed away, and we were all coming from various out of town locations. Jenn was incredibly well organized and helpful, and made a traumatic situation manageable and much easier. Prices were super reasonable, free breakfast was good but busy, location is awesome near the river and Pony Corral (bring mosquito repellant). Tammy was also very helpful and friendly. Air conditioning, room, microwave, beds are fridge wre good. Only issues were minor maintenance: just sink and shower faucets and toilet seat that needed tightening. They offered to fix immediately but we declined and noted it could wait until after we checked out, all good. I plan to stay here again...that's a no brainer. Clearly superior service. Well done Best Western!

Great service from the staff, helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, beds nice, pillows plentiful. All basic amenities available. Breakfast was yummy, hot, and lots of good choices. Shower pressure was amazing. Fridge was larger and cold. Great weekend stay and would definitely return.

Once again our stay was very enjoyable. I was commuting out west and was a frequent guest years ago. I introduced my wife to the hotel and the BW Pembina has become our favorite for years. .The staff are very friendly, hotel is comfortable and breakfasts are good. There is good shopping and restaurants within minutes of the hotel in several directions. The purpose of the trip required only one day but stayed to to browse for ideas to update our house.

This hotel is the nicest , cleanest , Friendliest , helpful , there are not enough words in my vocabulary to Express how great this hotel is ! The Management & Staff go over & above in every way right to the staff in the dinning room for breakfast ! Please make a point of staying there once & I bet you will never leave disappointed & will be your go to place to stay in Winnipeg area !

All staff were friendly from the grounds keeper who said hello and told us to have a good day to the front desk personnel who greased you like you were family. The young lady who checked us in was in training and did an absolute wonderful job.

First time staying at this particular Best Western Plus and we will definitely stay again if back in Winnipeg! Everything and everyone was wonderful. In particular I absolutely adored Linda who was working the front counter all 3 nights we stayed! Very accommodating, pleasant and funny! Also Savita was taking care of the hot breakfast all 3 days and was very personable and kind! She really gets to know the guests and makes you feel at home! Super happy with our stay ❤️

The rooms were very nice and clean, pretty well average, but fully stocked. The staff at this location is amazing. Checkout was quick. We booked online, it was also very efficient. We got emails asking how things were going and welcoming us. We moved to a suite after day one because we had to stay longer. The switch over was easy and a reasonable price. There were no king size bed suites though. The cleaning personnel found my husbands missing tee shirt and returned it after we switched rooms and the front desk brought up wine glasses. Both rooms had good internet, and were well stocked. We enjoyed our stay here and will stay again. I would also add that we appreciate points not expiring.

Our stay at the Best Western Plus Pembina was beyond expectations, this hotel was spotless, from room to lobby, pool and breakfast room. We enjoyed how quiet it was not only at night but during the day as well. We will definitely be returning.

Be prepared for the "incidentals" charge with no clear indication of when (or if) the money will be returned. Hotel was so crowded at all hours I didn't even want to use my two grudgingly awarded pool wrist tags. Room was right by the stairwell and there were guests pounding up and down it all night. Breakfast was good, and the Breakfast Staff were great, and everything was clean, which was remarkable considering how busy they were, but TVs in every breakfast room so no getting away from them. Checking in & out was unnecessarily complicated and stressful.

Took the grandkids to the BW. There was not an empty room in the place. The staff kept the pool towels supplied and the breakfast items full. Staff was calm and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Our room was very nice - two queen beds - and very clean. The bathroom was a bit small - my only complaint. It was a nice surprise to have a little package waiting for our dog - which they accommodated very nicely. It's fairly quiet even though it's on a busy street. Shopping is close as are many restaurants. The washer and dryer is also a nice plus. The breakfast that is offered is very nice! Many options! Finally, the staff is very friendly - from the front desk to the cleaning staff. We were very pleased with our 4 night stay.

Have been staying at this hotel since 2004. Would not stay at any other hotel in Winnipeg. They treat me like family. I had an early morning flight and got a wake up call for 3:30am. When I came down to front desk they brewed me a fresh pot of coffee as they new I had to catch a plane. Great customer service

Excellent stay. Staff at front desk were very helpful in finding a secure parking spot for us. Breakfast was excellent, would appreciate decaf coffee being available, the person working in the breakfast area indicated that not enough folks want decaf so she was hesitant to make any.

Staff are very caring and went above and beyond the normal expected service when we were there. They provided us with amenities when we worked late and gave us access to a boardroom when we needed to work late.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights due to the spring storm. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and very friendly! The room was extremely comfortable, and clean. They even upgraded my room for free which was really not necessary but greatly appreciated. The hot breakfast that they offered was a great addition! The whole staff went above expectations for us. We had to stay additional days due to unforseen circumstances and they shuffled things around so we could stay in our same room during busy times. They made us feel extremely comfortable during the whole stay.

The Best Western is close to major routes so it is easy to get to the places for appointments, shopping and restaurants that we like.

Great hotel. Nice rooms, clean. Wonderfully friendly staff. Only small issue was freezing cold air coming from under the air/heat unit. The pool area is awesome. Slide is great for smaller kids as well. Due to covid a pool time needed to be booked but it was easy to do and always time available.

We booked into the Best Western for one night with our grandkids to celebrate their birthdays. It was to spend as much time at the pool as possible which we did. The entire hotel including the pool area was extremely clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast had a lot of options to suit everybody in our family.

We had a last minute booking at Best Western as we had another accommodation fall thru. Staff were extremely helpful and made our week so much less stressful than it could have been. I would also like to say that the hotel was full with a girls volleyball team and 2 boys hockey teams, great kids, quiet and polite!

My room experience was relatively good. I was in a suite after a generous upgrade. The room was pretty good very quiet as I was in on the end of the hallway. The room had silver ware which was dirty with food still stuck on forks and the coffee cups dirty as well I washed the silver ware and left the remaining items as they were. The floor had bobby pins left on it so I was generally not to happy about the cleanliness of it. The rest was good the gal at breakfast was a pleasure to chat with and the food was good. Parking is safe and secure and plentiful I was surprised at the extra charges for being there on the weekend as the price went up for those two days and was $17 less the other 2. Will have to take a closer look at it next time

As usual, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed and friendly. Kind of like staying at a friends house without the social pressures. Did not have time to utilize the pool facilities on this trip but didn't have to check to see how clean it was, I just know from the past it made the grade.

All of the staff were very nice and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable as I am very anxious of elevators they accommodated us by upgrading us to a suite on the main floor. The next day, about 20 minutes after we checked out, we had no where to go because of unforeseen circumstances and they let us back into our room for an hour or so longer. We were very grateful for that.

Over all find the facility to have a home feeling and the staff care about you and your guests. How can you have a bad day when you are greeted every time you come and go with a smile! Hotel is great place to stay. From the lobby, rooms to the pool it's clean with great staff.

I had to come to Winnipeg for an appointment so we decided to make it a 4 day 3 night weekend getaway. I did a lot of looking online for hotels and finally decided on the Best Western Pembina, it was close to several shopping malls, plazas and Attractions. Our room was very clean and quiet, we heard absolutely no outside noise at all. All the staff was very pleasant and helpful, the free Continental breakfast had a good variety and the hostess looking after it was very friendly and she was doing an awesome job keeping everything stocked. The pool, waterslide and hot tub was so relaxing we almost hated going back to our room!

The B-W Pembina has become our favourite when we go to Winnipeg. The staff are very friendly and make sure we are well taken care of. The complimentary hot breakfasts are always good. Having breakfast ready in the morning is a good start to the day and lets us get on with the day easier.

Excellent staff, friendly atmosphere and awesome breakfast. We did not use the pool this time, but I know it has a great pool area. Very streamlined check in/COVID protocols. Bracelets used to identify COVID protocols had been checked were very helpful for ease of use of the breakfast/pool areas.

Hotel is immaculately clean and follows strict pandemic protocols. Made us feel safe. Plenty of free parking, plus you can walk to the Pony Corral restaurant right next door. Staff are professional and friendly.

They have since installed searingly bright military grade halogen lights in the parking lot, right by the river. They lit up the entire hotel lot and building, including causing light pollution in our window. We could not see the moon or stars. Our walk was spoiled by this excessive lighting. The pool seemed weird in the glow. We had to avert our eyes from the windows.

Our 2nd staycation this year at this hotel and it was just as awesome as the first. The suites are perfect for our family of 3. The extra room to move, kitchenette area, dining table/chairs…we enjoyed all of the extras in “our” room. The hide a bed was actually really comfortable! How often can you say that?! The staff was really kind and helpful again. Thank you for allowing us to come down after 9 to grab some breakfast! You didn't have to wait for us before closing up but you did. We've found our spot and WILL keep coming back.

This hotel did not disappoint. Everything was immaculately clean from the pool to the hallways to the rooms. During covid this is especially important. Tammy was a pleasure at the front desk during check in and Linda's hospitality during the night when my daughter wasn't feeling well was incredible. This hotel cares about their patrons! Would recommend 10/10 if you want a quiet stay with amazing hospitality at a reasonable rate. We will be back!

Rooms are impeccably clean. We had a king suite and our one year old played in the room with no issues or concerns. Floors, carpet, surfaces and furniture even remotes and extremely sanitary. Masks were worn in all areas excluding pool. For a free breakfast buffet this was by far the best. Not microwaved eggs and sausage…. This food is real and even real cutlery and plates, not paper and plastic like other best westerns. The lobby had coffee and creamer all day… also not common in most best westerns. Pool is actually warm enough for small babies (also uncommon) but it was small, very busy (as we think some evacuees from the mb fires were places here) the kids were dangerous in the pool we asked for a manager but they don't work weekends so the front desk tried to deal with it…. The second night was better in the pool. We will stay again for sure! Location is very central and pony corral nextdoor was great for dinner… not too noisy from traffic definitely much quieter than staying near portage or airport… good luck sleeping on portage with ambulances all night…

We were here 7 days and the room was perfect. The bathroom was small but there was an additional space outside so one person could get ready while the other person showered so it worked out very well. Breakfasts were hot and tasty with lots of options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only minor thing was the parking spaces were very tight and of course some people don't stay in the lines, however no incidents. Would definitely recommend.

Showed up late at night after travelling 16 hours to find out that my room was CANCELLED WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. I was meet with a disgusting amount of attitude and hostility from the front desk staff despite it being THEIR MISTAKE. They tried to make me feel like trash and made me cry, when the issue was that THEY WROTE MY INFO WRONG. They tried to make it seem like it was my fault even though my card was valid. THEY WROTE my address WRONG, causing it to decline which was pointed out to them. They also claimed that I gave them an invalid phone number but my phone number was correct and they had that part of my information correctly written down. And I had received many calls from other people that day without issue. They didn't call me. They cancelled my room without calling or emailing me or any sort of heads up, so when I arrived at 4 am, tired after 16 hours of travel with a puppy, i had no where to stay. They had absolutely NO sympathy/empathy for me and barely made any effort to find me somewhere else to stay. I received no apology. Nothing. The managers words were “too bad she's got to go somewhere else.” Absolutely disgusting behaviour. -100000/10. I wouldn't even give them 1 star if I could.

Our brief stay in this hotel - Pembina Best Western Plus- could not have been better. From the staff at the registration counter to the owner of the hotel helping to serve a fantastic breakfast, all helped make our stay a great experience.

This was our second time staying here in a span of 10 days. I drove with my 3 children ages 5/7/9 from Kelowna to Winnipeg heading on to Ontario to visit family and then back. We stayed 1 night each way. Both evenings we were greeted with a smile by Lynda. She went above and beyond to help a tired mom get the kids straight into the pool and helped when our pizza was delivered to get them fed. The rooms are clean, comfy beds and pillows, a cold bar fridge, it feels much more than a 2.5 star. Such a great value at $118/night for two queens which was more than enough room for the 4 of us. The free breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold foods, excellent value there again. The woman working in the breakfast room was also super helpful and also went above and beyond. The pool is well maintained, spotless clean, and the water slide was great entertainment for my kids who sat in the car all day. 100% would recommend families and anyone really to stay here.

The staff are always pleasant and ask us about our day. They take interest in what we're doing. They recognize us now as we stay at least twice a year. The breakfast though limited options is always amazing!

Rooms were contemporary and clean. Great bedding and mattresses. The pool area was very clean, and the kids loved the waterslide. We enjoyed the breakfasts, and the staff and owner makes you feel very welcomed and appreciated. Highly recommend and would stay here again anytime!

I was very impressed with the hospitality of all hotel staff members throughout our 7 nights stay. Even though, there was nit a restaurant located in the hotel there was nearby ones you could choose from. But the best part was the breakfast we received which we either can take up to our hotel room or stay in the breakfast lounge . The breakfast servings were big and the server was courteous as well.

We choose Best Western Pembina when wanting a staycation with the kids or a night away from home. We know it will always be immaculately clean, the pool is great for the kids, breakfast is always good and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. When travelling we compare other hotels to this one as it is our ideal standard for an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back!

This was our first hotel experience since COVID started and it exceeded our expectations. We felt very safe there with the precautions in place. We specifically chose this hotel for the pool and waterslide and it was a great experience. We stayed for one night and we were given 1 hour the first day and 1 hour the next morning. However there was no one else waiting to use it so we were able to stay longer! The continental breakfast was excellent and I specifically liked that the staff served it to you, so guests weren't touching anything. We had an excellent hotel experience!

Was pleasantly surprised to find that the complimentary breakfast was much closer to usual Bestwestern standards at this hotel even with Covid-19 restrictions. The service was exceptional and our server really tried to make sure we were satisfied and our needs met. Hotel is comfortable and clean, and pool and hot tub were also great.

The B-W Pembina is run by caring & friendly staff and is always clean and comfortable. Rates are reasonable and it is quick jaunt to all the places that I want to go to in Winnipeg. I have stayed there over the last 10 years because it is consistent quality and very well run. It is our first choice when we go to Winnipeg.

We stayed here 10 yrs ago & have to commend them on being consistent. They still offered hot breakfast even during the pandemic but it was well managed by having 1 family member get served by a staff member. They provided trays & it made our morning that much easier. My family and I had an excellent stay at the Best Western. The staff were very friendly and the hotel and rooms were super clean. The paint in the rooms gave them a bit of a dark or gloomy feel. The breakfast was also a lot better than many other hotel's breakfasts.

It is very unfortunate that due to the current health issues so many people will miss the opportunity to stay here. But if you do get to Winnipeg, this hotel will not disappoint. Every room freshly renovated and absolutely wonderful. The staff warm and all about service. Close to the University of Manitoba and other great aspects of the Peg. Really worth a try. My family came from Mexico for visiting me and they stayed in this hotel. I just want to thank, in general, the service of this place. It was fantastic, they had a good time. They appreciated the comp breakfast and shuttle service to the airport. Great location and very clean room. Thank you Best western Pembina for their service.

Excellent experience staying at this hotel. Offered evening snacks. Friendly staff and hotel was quiet in the evening. Had some issues with elevator during my stay but issues were addressed and repaired quickly.

Staff were warm and welcoming and provided special pet blankets and treats to ensure both human and canine guests had an enjoyable experience. Very clean and comfortable rooms and reception area. Good location too.

The breakfast options were bigger than I had seen it any hotel. The free shuttle was amazingly handy. But I think what impressed me the most was that staff at the front desk seem to know who I was just as I was walking up to them. They offered very personal service and made me feel really appreciated. I've never stayed at a hotel before where I was not just a number. I felt like they really appreciated my business and work going out of their way to help me out. I would definitely stay here again.

We found the front desk staff very nice and welcoming, room was very clean and the newer in appearance, breakfast was hot and a great selection of food and lots of it. The location was great for what we were using it for, had a comfortable sleep in the beds

We stay at this hotel whenever we are in Winnipeg. hotel is very clean, well appointed and the staff is excellent. Rooms are very clean and the hotel is maintained very well. we highly as your first choice to stay while you are in Winnipeg.

The Best Western Plus is located centrally to the events we usually like attending while in the city. This stay was a little different as they had a Go Green option which meant we had the option of not having cleaning staff clean our room or make our bed while we were there. In return we received 500 extra reward points. Saves a lot on water consumption so it was a good option for us.

Canadinns cancelled my reservation due to overbooking at the last minute, and Best Western was able to accommodate us. The pool and slide was great for my children (age 4 and 2.5 months), and breakfast was enjoyable for the whole family. This was our second stay, and we will stay again.

Hotel has all the business traveller needs for a comfortable stay. Apart from some difficulty accessing the internet from my room, the breakfasts were tasty and varied, fitness centre had good workout options and the room/ beds were very comfortable.

My stay at the Best Western Plus on Pembina was excellent! Not only did I receive a complimentary breakfast, I also received a complimentary snack in the evening. The hot tub and the pool area was very much enjoyed!

Friendly and clean hotel. The Children really loved the pool and water slide. I have no complaints whatsoever. It would have been good to have a microwave in the room. This is our go to hotel when staying in Winnipeg.

We stayed 1 night around Christmas and really enjoyed it. Good beds, clean, friendly front desk. We didn't get the chance to try the breakfast, but the pool was quite nice. The only issue we found was that the chlorine in the hot tub was pretty potent. It made it difficult to breathe. I assume they did this in anticipation of the holiday season and an influx of kids and families using the facilities though. Other than that it was great!

We had a most satisfying stay at this hotel. The staff were ALL friendly and accomodating. Room was comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast made our day. And, can't say enough about the great staff.

Siberia cold temperatures outside and the rooms were very warm and comfortable. They had a lovely assortment of breakfast foods that would meet most dietary needs - including keto. In addition to the breakfast, they included an “evening snack” which for a light supper eater would be more than enough - hot soup with crackers, assortment of fresh veggies, fruit and chips.

Pretty disappointed in my stay here. There was a athletic team staying at the same time and there were never any snacks to enjoy. Loud and noisy stay. I would recommend that the manager go and try the beds in room 116 and see how comfortable they find them. They were horrible, uncomfortable, noisy and felt like there were going to fall apart. I have stayed here many times and have not been so disappointed in a stay. If you have hosted large teams perhaps give them food in the overflow eating area. Not sure that I will come back again. And replace those beds!!!

Very good service, friendly staff, comfortable bed, internet works well, TV channel selection is good, breakfast is above average. Good value for price. Only bad thing was unfortunately the hot tub was not working when i was here. out of service for maintenance. Otherwise all was good, i recommend it. Nice check in. Good breakfast. We were in a room right next to the staircase and pool. Very noisy with the doors slamming non stop. Recommend asking for another room if you get stuck in that one. Our bathroom flooded everytime anyone showered. Beds creaked very loudly if you even turn over in them. Sounded like they may fall apart. Also very uncomfortable

The grandchildren with us on this visit are 6 & 10 years old. They used the Pool area c?w the waterslide non stop for hours on end. We all enjoyed the Breakfast Buffet as there was something for everyone. The availability of complementary Coffee and Tea is a nice touch. We stayed in a suite which worked out well for us. WE have been there before and will be back as well.

DO NOT STAY AT THE PEMBINA HWY BEST WESTERN IN WINNIPEG We stayed at the Best Western Pembina in Winnipeg last night, on our way moving to Ontario and thought it was great, until we came out in the morning and found my car window totally smashed. We were assured that it was safe where THEY told us to park our uhaul truck with the car on the trailer behind. The staff assured us several times that it was safe and they do security walk around every hour, the staff member walked down and showed us exactly where he wanted us to park it and several times we asked if would be safe and were assured they have cameras and security. Now we are being told by the manager that it is not there responsibility!!! It was clear that big rocks had been used to smash my side window and they had clearly spent some time trying to pry the glass further but couldn't get in. SO WHERE WAS THE SECURITY WHILE ALL OF THIS TOOK PLACE AND OUR VEHICLES WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SO SAFE?!!!!!

Staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was excellent every morning even at 9:30am. The airport shuttle is basically your own private ride to the airport which was nice because its a 40 dollar taxi ride.

Always a pleasant experience to stay at this location. The staff take a personal pleasure in making everything about the stay, very comfortable. They remember you and your preferences. Looking forward to the next time.

Great hotel in a really good location, parking is very good with cameras everywhere in the parking lot. The staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really excellent, hot breakfast with a very friendly and helpful staff working at the breakfast. There are snacks in the evening also but I usually just do the breakfast. I stay here every time I am in Winnipeg and would highly recommend this hotel

The Best Western is our favourite stay when we travel to Winnipeg. Have stayed at the BW Pembina since 2008 and it is always one that we can rely on for quality. Its location is handy for the sections of the city that we frequent and is easy to get to. Breakfast options are good and no need to go elsewhere. Usually the room price is reasonable especially if factor in that breakfast for 2 was included.

It was a greasy stay in a very quiet location , there was plenty to do in the surrounding area. Room amenities were awesome, the pool was very clean and the hot tub was very enjoyable. I would recommend and will be using this hotel the next time I'm in winnipeg

The hotel is well located very near to north/south routes. It is close to shopping and the University. Parking is close, there is a river view in some rooms., rooms are clean and updated and breakfast is a step above "breakfast included". Front desk staff were excellent.

The Best Western Pembina is welcoming, efficiently run, has lovely updated, fresh, attractive decor. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the pre-arranged airport shuttle ride. The hotel backs onto the river and is next door to the enjoyable Pony Corral restaurant and also next door to Starbucks. Other stores nearby. Late check-out at 3pm for a small additional charge was a plus.

This is our number 1 hotel we stay at when we go to Winnipeg. Quiet hotel with all Amenities. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Lots of parking. Pony Corral restaurant right next door with amazing food. Close to everything. In the evening they provide Soup and Snack. Always top notch. Free breakfast in the morning with a large selection to choose from but please stop putting spices in the eggs and hasbrowns :( . Pool has a waterside great for the kids. Hot tub for Mom and Dad. We have stayed here a lot and have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend it.

We've stayed at BW's often over the past eight years as a football family (college recruiting, college FB, now Blue Bomber football). This is absolutely the BEST BW we've ever stayed at. The complex, lobby, amenities (pool has a very nice water slide for kids) and the rooms were all very clean and nicely appointed. Our king suite was very large with a nicely furnished living space (sofa, chair ottoman, desk/chair) that included a large kitchen area as well (table for four, micro, sm frig, sink, large counter). The bathroom was also large with a large soaking tub with jets, great shower head and large counter space. Outside of the bathroom was an additional mirror and counter space which was useful as my husband and I prepped each day at the same time. The decor was very fresh and appealing. The bedroom was the same, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was way above complimentary hotel breakfast standards and included fresh eggs, meats, potatoes, and a variety of breads and pastries. There was a fruit cocktail mix also, as well as fresh bananas and apples. We were able to meet the owners at the front desk just by chance and paid them a very sincere compliment during our stay. Before our departure the owner happened upon us and asked about the game and our son/the team. Wonderful people and a wonderful place. This will be our "go-to" for all our future Bomber stays!

This hotel never disappoints! We look forward to our next visit. Always greeted with friendly staff and quick check ins. Continental breakfast is great with something for everyone. Nice large rooms and comfy beds.

The hotel is nice and clean, modern and comfortable. The pool is in need of some repair as the liner is lifting all over and a tripping hazard.Everywhere you look at the hotel there are rules. Wrist bands for the pool, no guests after 11 and so on. I felt jailed.

Incredible Stay.. Words will not suffice in the quality of our stay.. we took a cross Canada Road Trip... At our stay this location... we were attending the Hermetics Code tour.. so chose this hotel due to location.. Once at the hotel.. I spoke to whom we thought to be the manager upon arrival...... but after a bit of conversation... learned this was the Owner .. Talk about humble.. and interested in his customers and level of service......Sir you deserve much respect!...... Regards the room and service... fantastic. I'm not in any way related to or paid for this... Its now Sept in 2019 and we were there August 2019. .. my apologies as I'm a bit tardy getting to sending this review... Want a Great hotel?.. Awesome owner and level of customer service.. this rates top notch!.. Great Job all!.... sets the standards for what a fantastic hotel experience should be!

We were a large group staying at the hotel to attend a family wedding. The hotel was extremely busy wth the football game as well but they handled everything well. They accomodated us with early check in so we could get to the wedding on time and were extremely pleasant and helpful.

We were in town for a wedding, and I had booked a group of rooms. The staff were amazing, and the rooms, and hotel were fantastic. Breakfast bar, and evening snacks went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this hotel and location to anyone. I will definitely be back.

This is a wonderful, friendly, hotel that offers a delicious HOT breakfast. Rooms are very clean. For the price you can't beat it. Location is great if visiting the South End of Winnipeg especially watching the Bombers WIN!!!!

My family and I had a 1 night stay at this Best Western in mid August. This hotel has a fantastic location, close to a lot of great family friendly restaurants, a grocery store, pharmacy, banks, and the University of Manitoba. Staff was super friendly and efficient. Everyone was so friendly and warm, from the cleaner to the front desk reception. Our hotel room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. Bed/mattress were very comfortable. I was astonished to learn about the swimming pool and waterslide, didn't know this when I booked hotel. My kids (age 7 and 10) had a fantastic time going down this waterslide 20 times. Husband wasn't so happy having to catch the younger one at the bottom (he can't swim). The complimentary breakfast was great and had a good variety of foods. As far as activities in Winnipeg, this was a really short trip as we were passing through en route from Grand Forks, ND to Regina, SK. The Manitoba Museum was incredible, a bit expensive but totally worthwhile. Amazing displays of animals and plants, dinosaur bones and fossils, and really enjoyed the replica Hudson's Bay ship. So much great learning. We also enjoyed walking around the campus of the University of Manitoba. There are a lot of beautiful old buildings. It's quite different than the university in our city which has mostly new buildings. I'm sure we will be back to visit, and would most likely stay in this hotel again!

We had a very good stay and enjoyed this hotel but the floor in the pool area was extremely slippery. Something needs to be done about it. On exit from the pool my husband who was carrying my 3 year old slipped and fell extremely hard. So hard he required a trip to the hospital for stitches. Could have been worse though. At first we were worried about a head injury for my daughter but she was okay. The whole experience ruined the trip a bit. Fortunately it was toward the end of our stay and travels. I liked the hotel but next time we're in Winnipeg I'll be looking at other hotels with better pool areas. Really hope it gets fixed and I hope no one else gets more seriously injured. It makes me think actually, they had wrist bands for the pool but they were useless as there were no pool attendants. I wonder if they've had other injuries but don't want to put in any effort to actually fix the floor.

The staff signing us in were great, there was an issue when they credited my credit card so they thought they rectified it. But my account wasn't showing that, they said to chat in the morning to the morning staff when checking out. The young lady in the morning was not helpful or friendly, was very argumentative. Not sure if my credit card got charged 3 times or not at this point. But the hotel is very clean, the rooms are very nice, they have snacks at night for the guests which are great and the breakfast was really good.

Pros: The hotel was clean and neat. Cons: The hot breakfast was overcooked and greasy The pool deck is EXTREMELY slippery even with the most cautious walking I slipped more than once... almost every member of my family slipped on this deck... along with a few other guests from the hotel who were also in the swimming are at the same time.

We had 2 toddlers with us and staff made sure to tidy the room around our nap/outing schedule, offered high chairs and drinking straws at breakfast, and were friendly and offered help to me and my crying 19 month old at 2am in the lobby. We felt very accommodated and we really appreciated your help!

Took our 2 kids, the hotel was clean and not too noisy. the kids loved the pool and water slide and there were lots of options for breakfast. It was a bit out of the way for what our activities were, but it was worth the extra drive.

Stayed here two nights. Felt so welcome both days. Excellent room with very comfortable bed and plenty of room for a couple of kiwis a long way from home. I would have to say the most pleasant hotel staff both in front of house and behind the scenes that we have ever encountered on our travels ANYWHERE!. Gree breakfast was substantial and we were pleased to see cross key being used as opposed to paper and plastic that clogs the planet ! A very enjoyable stay in this beautiful city...would stay again in a heart beat if we were ever back this way.

This is the third summer that we have stayed at Best Western Plus on Pembina for a week each time and we always enjoy our stay. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is always kept very clean and the rooms are comfortable. Complimentary breakfast has a good variety of hot and cold foods.

We were travelling out west to BC by car to visit family. We looked up pet friendly hotels online prior to our journey, and THIS Best Western was one of two who went out our their way to make our dog Teddy feel comfortable and welcomed.

Best hotel I ever stayed at. Linda at the front desk was the greatest help while we stayed in Canada. The staff was all great. They helped in anything we needed. The pool was clean and fun. And the breakfast a little diff every morning.

This is a well situated hotel on the Pembina Hwy just 8 km from downtown. Good parking, comfortable, clean room, great bed and breakfast. What stands out are the very helpful staff. We wanted a microwave which you need to book in advance. We did not realize this and while it was not available the first night, it was available the second - as promised!

I don't usually stay in hotels for family vacations - we usually camp or stay with friends/family - so I wasn't sure what to expect when staying at a hotel with two children (5 and 9). I was pleasantly surprised. It was a very enjoyable experience! The staff were so very friendly, everyone from the front desk and the breakfast staff, to the cleaning staff. We found everyone very accommodating as we had our camping equipment in the room - but they just worked around us and didn't get upset with our equipment everywhere (which hasn't been the case at other places, when I was working as a field biologist - the staff In these other hotels would be very grumpy with us if we brought our (clean) field equipment in the rooms). The breakfast food was really good and suitable for all ages. There was always enough seating - whether in the main room, or an adjacent room if it got really busy. The staff were engaging and pleasant to chat with. The pool was a great attraction to the kids and there was ample parking for guests. Most importantly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I travel a lot for work now, and stay in quite a few hotels - and this hotel is one of the best! We will definitely stay there again when we head back. It has changed my mind on hotel stays with kids!

This place has the most helpful staff I have encountered. I showed up after riding thru major rain storm and was soaked They asked if they could help me in anyway and told me about a gathering later that night When I opened the door to the room it looked like it was brand new and I was the first to stay there. When I checked out there gave me some old towel to wipe me bike down I will be staying here again

This hotel has great rooms, great service. Good variety offered with their breakfast buffet. And pet-friendly for less than $20/night. This hotel would be my top choice, especially if traveling with a dog.

We stayed at this hotel to get some rest from a very hectic few months. Our stay was for 5 nights. The man that checked us in was very nice and efficient. Informed us that aside for free breakfast, they also provide snack from 5-8 pm Sunday to Thursday. To our delight, the snack has a variety of veggies, dip, salsa, tortilla chips, munchies and soup. If you're not too hungry, this is almost enough for supper. The breakfast was good, lots to choose from but can use a bit more variety with the hot items. We stayed in a suite with fridge, microwave, dishes and table with 4 chairs. We had a small bedroom and so the a/c was very close to the bed which made for an uncomfortable sleep. The following morning, the manager kindly moved us to another suite across the hall which had a bigger bedroom which resolved the a/c problem. We had a very quiet room located at the end of the top floor. All the staff were very good at what they do. Bharti from housekeeping and her co workers provided us with all we needed for a comfortable stay. We had guests from our daughter's wedding 9 years ago who stayed at this hotel. After all this time this hotel is still a great place to stay.

Our room was the standard double queens, nothing fancy about the room but clean. the service at check-in was fantastic. Linda goes above and beyond to acknowledge you when you arrive. Linda remembers repeat customers and is known to our family as the duck lady.

This is clean, comfortable and we had no complaints. The breakfast seating is particularly good - lots of it - and the coffee was excellent. The location leaves something to be desired unless you want easy access to the UofM or to routes south.

Megan is wonderful, excellent at her job! All of the staff that I had the pleasure of speaking to are incredible, extremely accommodating. Breakfast, for "free" breakfast, it was the best one I have probably every had, IHG could take some notes ;). The property is under renovations, however, it was still very clean.

Always a great stay and very good breakfast. They staff a friendly and accommodating as they can. There is some modifications being done to the building atm but no fault of the facility. Upgrades need to be done at some point.

The staff was very kind and helpful. We had misplaced a club jacket and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to help us out. I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this location to anyone, especially if you are looking for a location near the Univesity

Breakfast great - ask for Gluten Free options if you need them. Public computer so if you need to check email and are an old fuddy duddy like my hubby and I with no phone or computer that use wifi you can still check you email! Helpful staff! Cost a little more per room this time than last time when we got 2 rooms because we had family with us- not sure why, although it was a same day booking!

This hotel has wonderful staff. Very nice atmosphere. Breakfast was included, as well as snack in the evening, great comfort when you arrive later. Beds are comfortable, and clean. Overall, my experience has been excellent.The parking could be spaced better, hard to fit in the lines.

I stayed here many times, its a great hotel. Nice location, pony corral next door, close proximity to car repair shop and electronics store and restaurants. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Parking can be a bit tight at times. but always find a spot.

Everything was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and appeared to enjoy their jobs. The internet worked fine and the pool area was very clean and bright. There were more than enough towels and chairs. The parking was an issue on one night as there was a function of some kind at the hotel. The breakfast was very good and served fresh and hot. If one has a vehicle all restaurants are not too far away and there is an excellent one right next door which was very good called The Pony Corral.

Our group enjoyed our Best Western stay. We were a group (5 rooms) and the entire visit was seamless. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty - breakfast was great - hotel clean and very comfortable. Not one complaint. Thanks to the kindness and caring of the staff - we felt very much at home.

In town for business, this was close to where I needed to be. Clean quiet, comfortable. Made a good base for the work I had to accomplish. Not really walkable in the area, although some food/shopping close enough. Busy highway out front prevents crossing over to the stores there, quite a distance to walk in either direction to a place to cross. Overall fine, met my needs and expectations.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and convenient for our trip. We enjoyed the fact that it was posted about "quiet" time between 11pm to 7am. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I am a Marriott snob. When our friends picked this hotel, I tried to talk them out of it. Then I found out how good of value this place was. It was a clean room, great pool with slide and a very good breakfast. The rate was fantastic and the General manager even came by to greet us and thank us for coming. Very classy. We will definitely be back.

We chose this hotel because it was a best western and because they have a waterslide and a pool with stairs, both good options for the little guy. Fun! Everything was clean looking and smelling. I really appreciate that the room was not sprayed with scent. Thank you! Love that there is a table and two chairs rather than a desk so that we could both sit comfortably and eat. Snacks were available in the evening which helped so much. We had a swim, a snack, and a great sleep. We didn't h ave to order in or go out for just a light bite. It was very quiet which is super important to me. Best westerns usually are, but this Pembina location was very quiet and we both slept well. BW beds are always comfy and the pillows are great. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Everything taste good and was clean and well kept by dedicated staff. I wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time. Thank you.

Stayed here for a staycation with my family. My son is 4 and we chose this hotel for there water slide. Perfect size for little ones to use. Amazing staff, great location, clean, overall a great stay.

Stopped in here for 1 night. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Room was a little on the small side but not much you can do about that. We saw the Manager in the morning when packing up our van and he asked us how our stay was. That was a nice gesture. We had a good night's sleep and would stay here again.

We live this hotel - it is super clean, has a pool, water slide and hot tub plus a continental breakfast in the morning so you can get up get fed and be onto your activities! We stay here every time we go to Winnipeg!

Usually stay at another hotel chain when I'm in Winnipeg, but I thought I'd give this place a try. Overall, I think you get a lot more value here with the surprisingly decent buffet breakfast and other services like the airport shuttle. Staff is also friendly and attentive.

Friendly staff, breakfast had variety, would be nice if there was more fresh fruit options. In the evening there was soup and snacks. Bed was comfortable. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance and public transportation if needed. Also walking distance to celebrations dinner theatre. Also plenty of parking!

we stay here often when in winnipeg. at 5 pm daily, they have soup and light snacks for their customers. always good. the pet friendly rooms are good also although we were without dogs(2) this trip.if location and price is right , this is place for you to stay. don

Very professional staff right from arrival till you leave. Friendly cleaning staff who are working and not on their cell phones. Never used pool or gym but breakfast buffet was. clean with lots of options. Nice beds. Solid choice for Winnipeg south side!

The hotel is presiosa and its manager even more, it really is a place that I highly recommend, it is an excellent place to relax and be distracted and not think about the cold outside, Hahaha, You will not regret it when you visit it, believe me, I'm telling you the truth

This is a very well managed hotel . All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the linens smell fresh. The breakfast has lots of variety and even some specialty items such as almond milk which I very much appreciated. The breakfast attendant was very friendly, hard working and helpful. The workout area was basic but it was clean and had enough for a solid workout. We will most certainly be back in future. Thankyou!

Loved the beds here. Came home and bought a mattress just like what they have. Only stayed for one night, drove up from MN to use our new passports. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Nice pool with water slide and hot tub. Great stay.

We recently stayed at the BW Plus on Pembina......We were their with our son's hockey team. The hotel was very accommodating and let us be all together for dinner. GREAT STAY. Super friendly staff. Very clean rooms and pool.

We've been here a number of times with our kids, and have been pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and the great service from the staff. When we checked in the staff member at the desk offered us a room on the main floor near the pool instead of the third floor room we had been booked. It snowed the night we were there, and the parking lot was cleared quickly. One of the staff helped get snow off the cars in addition to clearing sidewalks. While the pool was colder than usual this time, it is usually very warm and fun to swim in. Our 8 year old son loves the water slide! The beds are soft and comfortable, and the staff was accommodating when we needed an extra blanket. We will be happy to stay here again the next time we are in Winnipeg!

Reasonably priced. They have clean rooms, a nice pool with a water slide and a fitness room. The hot breakfast has lots of options and they offer an evening snack daily from 5 till 8pm with soup, veggies and snack food...a nice touch.

This is a very comfortable hotel! The rooms are generously sized and the corridors and wide and bright. The breakfast is amazing. It has all the usual breakfast stuff but the selection of hot food changes each day and always includes eggs, meat and some form of hash browns. The breakfast room is large and comfortable. This hotel does not have a restaurant but it does have a small managers' reception for snacks in the evening and is within easy walking distance of many restaurants. The pool area is great and the waterslide is a blast, even for adults! Highly recommend.

If you have pets, this is the best hotel for you! Our dog and cat were made very welcome. The staff was amazing with my food allergies too. Our dog has so much fun walking and playing by the River. So many services within walking distance as well. Great overall experience.

Booked a small ( under 50 persons size room ) for one of my daughters pre wedding events. The room was decorated beautifully. Flowers on every table slip covers on chairs etc. Service was excellent, staff very friendly and food was tasty and hot. Kate ( hospitality coordinator ) is to be highly commended for making this event a success. I would highly recommend Pembina highway Canad inn for other similar events

This is the finest, most comfortable, best breakfast, best people, just the best hotel I've stayed at ever, ever. I have stayed in hundreds and hundreds of hotels. The owner Gilles personally, personally, personally cares. Driver, Ricardo is amazingly personable and friendly. Linda offers great, friendly, courteous advice as do all the staff. This is a fantastic place that I recommend whole heartedly for sure.

I recently stayed at the hotel while I working in Winnipeg. My stay was wonderful. The hotel itself is a basic Best Western. Very clean, comfortable. The staff were beyond just doing their jobs. Sveta, in particular at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful. When I called she made a point of seeing if I could book the shuttle even though the shuttle was not running when I was to arrive. She was able to get the shuttle for me. The shuttle driver was friendly and courteous. He wouldn't even accept the tip I wanted to give him. Traveling for work can be lonely so it was nice to feel at home when I was on the road.

Nice hotel, wonderful employees and they were so welcoming of my dog who travels everywhere with me. Everyone we encountered from check in to check out was friendly and helpful and waiting for us in the room was an extra blanket, pet clothes and treats for Bella (my dog). Great place to stay!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, we have stayed there many times before. Very friendly staff, very clean rooms and very good breakfast. Good value for your money. Highly recommended. Not far from downtown and outlet malls. IKEA and Costco close by. The pool wasn't busy at all.

BW Pembina is the best hotel in Winnipeg. Located in a safe area with stunning views of the river. The breakfast provides everything you need and the parking is free. Most importantly is the cleanliness and the most amazing caring staff that I have ever experienced in all my years of travel. Look forward to returning soon.

The Breakfast, beds, bathrooms #1 in Best Western anywhere. 5 star plus. Gilles the owner treats you like family. Really good atmosphere and staff smiling all the time. The free breakfast uses real locally sourced sausages and ham. It's worth $20 each. Unlimited coffee plus decaf. It really feels like an oasis. Oh, the kids will like the water slide, parents will like the hot tub. $3 to take bus to Winnipeg Blue Bombers games. Free bus back. You can walk the trail by the river. We saw two orioles! Bird watching is great. Even if you pay a bit more$ it's worth it. Saw hello to Gilles. He's the owner who will take care of you.

Very accommodating staff, great breakfast. Basic room and was clean. Kids enjoyed the pool the hot tub is small. Breakfast alone was worth eat..Breakfast area is open in the evening if you require hot water.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Pembina Inn & Suites in Winnipeg and was so pleased with every aspect of my stay. The hotel was very clean, the staff was extremely helpful and kind and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and they even provided snacks at night.

The Best Western Pembina is in a central location, not far from anything in the City. With the free airport shuttle we were able to use a car rental agency away from the Airport for a much better car rate. The free breakfast is excellent, even including gluten free options, and the afternoon snacks a nice bonus. The rooms are very comfortable and extremely quiet - no noise from nearby rooms or the hallway. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This was our second stay here, will definitely stay again on any return trips to Winnipeg and would highly recommend to everyone.

close to a pub the staff are always willing to inform and help food was good and they even let us use a room so we could play poker i lost but still had fun we used there vehicle to get back to the airport and that was good also

The hotel is in great shape, and the staff are super. But there is a night club to the north of the property, and it has loud music playing late into the night. My eight year old really liked the waterslide. Luckily, the child can sleep through anything. If you are on the north side, ask for ear plugs.

The Hotel is well presented , beds are very comfortable , the staff are very friendly and helpful.The on-site breakfast is excellent. However, if you want an evening meal be prepared to drive off site.

Our stay at the Pembina Inn & Suites in Winnpeg came at the end of a very long cross-country road trip. We stayed in many hotels over the course of our trip and I would definitely recommend Pemibina Inn & Suites. The location was convenient near restaurants and shops, it was easily accessed from the Trans-Canada, and the room was comfortable and spacious. The staff at reception were welcoming and helpful.

I stayed in this property for business and the outside of the hotel didn't excite me however I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The hotel staff were fantastic and very welcoming and the room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was better than the average continental breakfast and the parking was handy and free. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking to stay in the general area.

Spent one night there as we were planing on going to the Mint the next morning. Hotel was amazing, It was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The pool looked amazing. The staff were warm and friendly. Would stay there again.

Once or twice a year we stay at this hotel for up to 5 nights a time. We have never been disappointed in our treatment. Location is great, especially if you want to be near the university. Staff go out of their way to be caring and helpful. This stay, when the owner found out that we had a flat tire, he and a staff member immediately insisted on changing it. They wanted to be sure that we could continue our trip safely. What other hotel would take care of guests this way. After many visits at this hotel, I cannot say enough positive things about it.

We stayed three nights, I don't think I have ever slept so well in a hotel. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. The pool is on the smaller side. Would be excellent for small children, we had teenagers, but they still enjoyed themselves.

We stayed here for a long weekend, the 2nd to 5th of August for a college tour of the University of Manitoba. The hotel was very close to the university and had lots of restaurants around. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spotless. We enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning as well as free snacks and soup in the afternoon. The pool and pool area was clean and towels well stocked. The pool has a waterside that would be fun for kids, but the pool itself is a bit on the small side. There is a hot tub too. Hotel is right on the river, which we didn't realize until our second day there! If my son is accepted to the university next fall, we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed last night in the Best Western Pembina Inn and Suites. As per a previous visit, the front desk staff were extremely professional, the room was wonderfully comfortable, and the breakfast excellent.

We had stayed one night at the hotel and had checked out already only to find that our car was not going to be fixed in time for us to go home that day. We needed to stay in the city one more night so we went back to the hotel and even though it was almost booked right up they found us a room and even gave us a discount price since we had already stayed there the night before. They were very sympathetic to our situation and were very accommodating.

From check-in to check-out our stay was fantastic. Check in was swift, personable and pleasant. Rooms were clean, spacious and included comfortable beds. The kids loved the pool with the slide. The evening soup and snack reception was delicious. The soup tasted homemade, and the accompanying vegetables were fresh and nicely displayed. Breakfast was also delicious with a variety of choices. Coffee was available all day. The laundry room was small but absolutely spotless, and both the washer and dryer worked well. I would especially like to compliment the front desk staff. We were only there overnight, but the women at check-in suggested a few things we could do on our way out of town the next day, and was obviously proud of her hotel and her town. Before this trip several people asked "Why go to Winnipeg" by this hotel and staff make me want to return.

A very clean hotel with a nice pool with a water slide inside. A very good breakfast selection and a super nice lady running the kitchen. Excellent cleaning service on the rooms as well. They put in new chairs and tables in the pool area while we were there. The G.M. is a nice guy and tried to help us out when we had some problems after a water main broke outside the building.

Best Western Pembina Suit is the absolute best place to stay. They have a pool with waterslide and hot tub. They offer a wonderful breakfast and soup in the evenings. They also have the most amazing staff, they always make you feel welcomed. The location is perfect for doing most things in the city, very centrally located.

A very clean, hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was great and the room very nice. The towel animals was adorable! Wasn't very fond of the location but other than it, very good!! The parking also wasn't very accessible.

This Best Western has the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in outside of a Microtel; with a family of two parents, two younger kids, and a toddler there was barely enough room to turn around. The fridge also cooled insufficiently and nearly ruined some gourmet cheese we bought earlier in the day. Luckily the property has a saving grace: the wildest waterslide I've ever seen outside of a thrill park, connected to the indoor pool. With a height of nearly two stories and two full corkscrew turns before you hit the water, you'll want to do it multiple times, and it's a very impressive feature in an otherwise fairly normal hotel. The evening front desk staff were also friendly and helpful, although the morning check-out clerk wasn't as pleasant. Breakfast was unfortunately below-par on taste, but the breakfast staff member was great and helped us find a table. (Best Westerns with insufficient breakfast areas seemed to be a theme on this vacation.) Location-wise this isn't the best area: it's quite a bit south of downtown on some of the roughest surface streets I've encountered anywhere in Canada, and the area seems a bit sketchy although we felt perfectly safe within the property itself. All in all I was underwhelmed given the mostly-ecstatic TripAdvisor reviews that convinced me to book here.

Went for a weekend stay to visit a family friend and to celebrate my hubby's birthday at the same time. Requested for a wine (into my account) to be delivered into our room prior to arrival to surprise my hubby. Unfortunately, they have no restaurant in house. Thus, they were unable to cater to my request. On the brighter side, there is a bar and restaurant just next to the hotel and it wasn't bad either. So, we settle there for a drink (or two) instead. Check in wasn't very impressive. Front Desk staff was busy talking in the small room and I have to wait until she's done with her conversation (with other staff) and finally acknowledged my presence. The room she gave me was also not to my expectations. I was told, there's no other room. The carpet on the hallway kind of smell. Again, we settled for the night. The next day, I opened the curtain and found a bug behind it (see photo). Reported it to the FD and Mandy was very pleasant enough to listen and help. She moved us to a much better room. Decent breakfast and Sabita at the Breakfast nook was also very nice and engaging. The room where we had moved was much nicer. The property in general is clean 'cept for the bug (lower floor). Great, convenient location. Tip: Ask for a higher floor.

This hotel is clean and well maintain. The free breakfast is always a nice inclusion. The beds are super comfy. Check in and out are effortless. Any issue is dealt with quickly and the staff care that the customers are happy. I would highly recommend this hotel in this area.

We stayed in the bachelor suite this time. I was attending a workshop in the city, and my wife was in and out of the room throughout the day. We found the suite to be very comfortable, although a king bed would have been better. The swimming pool was very cold!

We stayed at the Best Western Pembina Inn and Suites while in Winniipeg visiting family on Mother's day weekend. The checkin was quick and efficient, the room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The beds were really comfortable and easy to sleep on. The usual consumables were provided. along with a hair dryer. The breakfast was wonderful and included hot foods, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausages, make your own waffles, yogurt, fruit, muffins cereal, etc. It was very busy when we were there and the hotel opened 2 extra rooms with tables off the lobby area so that everyone had a place to sit. The food at the breakfast was always kept full so that everything was always available. We had an issue with extreme noise coming from the room above us and the when the front desk was notified it was immediately dealt with. It did start up again a little later and again the front desk people again acted immediately and effectively. All staff was extremely professional and competent. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff, location and amenities are perfect for our needs. Couple of things that BW Plus needs to fix: 1.) When we asked about a shuttle to the airport we were told no problem but when it came to the evening before our time to leave the next day we were told you needed 48 hours notice because of staffing. This is not acceptable. 2.) A bus with a load of people was parked out front with running motor for twenty minutes. The fumes came into our room- which was on the fourth floor, which is also something that needs addressing.

This hotel is clean and inviting. The room was very comfortable with a good selection of TV channels during my down time. It is also located right on the river which was nice for a walk to unwind. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Winnipeg area.

Everything was wonderful. Helpful staff, and nice room. There was many good restaurants around. close to the university and hospital. Airport shuttle also helpful too, nice van and easy to figure out which one is from your hotel.

With out a doubt the best most friendly group of people work at this hotel. Picked us up at international air port saving a $40 taxi ride and took us back to airport as well. The breakfast meal is quite amazing. More than enough items and all quality product. we were sick and the staff paid extra attention to make sure we were ok. an all round excellant four days at this very well managed Best Western Hotel.

Clean comfortable rooms with great beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are flying in make sure you book shuttle service before you arrive. They need 48 hr. notice. Even though there were sports teams staying the same time we were, it wasn't disruptive at all.

The hotel staff was very nice. The room was comfortable - super clean and no 'cleaning' smell, and we stayed with a pet. If we are lucky enough to visit Winnipeg again we will stay here again. The breakfast seemed very nice- eggs, potatoes, waffles, meat, fresh fruit, lots of cereal, bagels etc. Probably regular but very well stocked and displayed. We don't stay at hotels very often but they had hot tea and coffee available all of the time which was perfect for us. They kept it super clean! And one evening they had soup and chips with salsa and veggies. Not sure if that is a regular thing but if we hadn't already scoped out restaurants we would have taken advantage of that option.

I stayed at this best western plus because I've stayed at their hotels in the past & they are always pleasant & clean. Luxury at a lower cost. It was also close to the thermea spa we went to, which made the trip convenient.

Wonder staff, great breakfast and a pool for the kids- what more could you need? Wifi? Check! Restaurant right next door? Check! (It even serves chicken fingers for the kids!) This is one of my personal favourite places to stay in Winnipeg- if you're travelling with family, this is the place to stay.

Complimentary breakfast was the highlight of our stay. They had a wonderful selection of hot (eggs, hash browns, sausage, waffles) and regular options of fruit, muffins, toast, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt & toppings. The coffee was also really good! We loved the fact that they had real plates & cutlery instead of the disposable kind. We spent some time in the pool & hot tub, very nice although the tiles in pool area were really slippery. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean! Beds & pillows were really comfortable. Would stay here in the future!

We stayed at the hotel for around 5 days in September. I was traveling by myself with my 3 month old and 2 year old to visit my husband. Breakfast and daily snacks were probably the best we have ever had that were complementary. The day we were flying out I had asked what we could do before they shuttled my daughters and I back to the airport. They suggested some nice walking paths and a great little cafe to eat at. They even extended my checkout time to 1 so it would coincide with my flight home. As I was heading down stairs to go the the cafe, one of the men working asked if he could pick us up some sandwiches for lunch so we didn't have to go out. This was so nice of him to do I will never forget it! We politely declined as I wanted to walk before we headed to the airport. When we arrived back at the hotel from lunch the manager (I think) looked after the girls so I could run into the washroom. Thank you so much for the stress-free stay! We will definitely be back.

I was in this hotel for business for 6 nights, it was good, nice & comfortable bed, the hotel have very nice hot tub and they a water slide, when you are in hot tub you have view of outside, very friendly staff, and 10 minuets walking to Whole Foods

Great rooms convenient to amenities. Only minutes from Investors Group Field. Great Connential Breakfast. Lots of Free parking. Many restaurants near by. Minutes from St Vital Center. IKEA is about 15 minutes away.

We stayed overnight with three young children. The room seemed nice and clean which is important to me especially with children! The breakfast had a great variety of foods and the waffle maker for making 4 small waffles in one iron was a hit!

This hotel is right on Pembina, and easy to get to. Clean, and well kept with attentive staff. An appetizing, well maintained breakfast bar. My room had both iron and ironing board, fridge. Parking. The pool isn't very large but the slide is fun, large windows provided well needed poolside sunlight. Starbucks, Pizza Pizza, and Pony Corral restaurant right next door.

From the kindness of Sveta at check in to store my luggage and speed up my check in to soup and snacks as well as breakfast everyday. This hotel was an incredible experience. As a frequent business traveller I stay on a lot of BW properties. This is among my favorite. Have already booked for my next trip to Winnipeg.

Our ringette team (14 families) travelled to Winnipeg for a tournament in late January. Let me start by saying that we have stayed in a lot of hotels with ringette through the years and this one was one of the best for a few reasons: 1) The group booking process was easy, the person who handled our booking was personable and accommodating. The price point for our group booking was also very affordable. 2) The hotel booked our families on the same floor in close proximity to each other. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. 3) The free breakfast was very good and plentiful. I was told that the weekday evening snacks were awesome as well, although we missed those with our group. 4) The hotel owner/manager went out of his way to accommodate our big group so we could have a space to eat our meals together. Although the breakfast room was available to us, he offered us a larger space in one of the boardrooms so we could spread out for our lunch and supper meals. I have to add that there were renovations going on in the boardroom at the time, but they managed to get it done and cleaned up so we could use it. The renovations did not affect our stay whatsoever. 5) We did not use the pool, but it looked like lots of fun with ample seating for parents to supervise their kids. This hotel was in a good location for us, close enough to the Southdale arena where our team played and relatively close to The Forks where we visited on two occasions during our stay. It is not fancy, but it did check all the boxes for us. In summary, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable, clean, and comfortable place to stay where the staff are both friendly and helpful.

While renting the room I said it was for a birthday party for my daughter. Since she wanted to go to the beach for her birthday when I got here, they told me her friends could not go swimming. So then they told me it would be an extra charge for them to go in and they can only go for half an hour, even though I was paying for them to go into the pool. It was a very upsetting start to the day. Also, the pool is very small.

This hotel will be quite nice once they complete renovations, however, until completed 3 stars is being generous based on this stay. We have stayed twice in two weeks. Parking is a nightmare and lacking lighting. Handicapped parking is nonexistent 4 spots out of about 100-really! Most of the parking is down a slope making accessibility questionable for those with mobility issues. The room we used for the second time this month was just renovated however, housekeeping had clearly not changed the one bed as two long hairs were found in the sheets. Very disappointing based on their TripAdvisor award! Bonus, having a great selection of breakfast foods and having soup through the day makes this the place to stay for family affordability.

Great place to stay. I've stayed a couple times in the past..the place is nice good air and you are surrounded by restaurants and stores for The traveling needs you need on a trip. Was there on a snowy day. Came out in the morning and staff had my car nice and clean by blowing the snow off.

I take my two kids to a hotel every January before they go back to school. We have done this for 4 years now! This stay was very good, we all got an excellent sleep...I'm not sure if they changed the mattresses but it was super comfortable! We also tried a restaurant on Pembina that we had never tried before and that was great too! (Nicolino's)

We didn't have any issues. We have always liked this hotel and stayed there many times. I would like to see this hotel have family rooms. We had to get 2 rooms as we have 4 kids. I was able to us my points for one room and paid for the other.

I love this hotel. The location is great. Free parking, convenient access to restaurants and shopping. The hotel is always clean. The staff helpful and consistent. I love the pool, especially that they don't use chlorine and the water slide is so much fun. There is a fitness room and the breakfast is hot with lots of options even for vegetarians. I usually bring my dog and they give her a comfy welcome packet. This place treats you with respect and care about your business with an affordable price.

Hotel was quite nice, but pool area was very cold. So much so that our kids did not want to stay. Breakfast was relatively mediocre - not on par with other Best Western+ hotels we have stayed at. Baked goods were stale / hard and there were not many choices for vegetarians.

We are definitely considering this again. Everyone enjoyed the pool and water slide and made very good use of it. The use of a meeting room for the day was a wonderful commidity. Thank you. Staff was very friendly.

This was a great place to stay. The staff was great and the rooms were very clean, quiet and very comfortable. The hotel offers a convenient location to the nearby amenities and provides easy access to the highway as well as the airport which is only minutes away. The breakfast provided in the morning was more than adequate to see you on your way. Definitely will stay here again.

Modern décor, clean, friendly staff, convenient location, good price. The meeting rooms are also excellent. Breakfast offers many options, but the pastries were quite hard- that's my only complaint. Great place to stay!

First time we stayed at this location, we lucked out! Pool was almost empty each time the kids went to use it. The staff, food and presentation of this hotel is A+. The second time the same thing, I hardly want to leave a review because I feel like it's my best kept secret. I will definitely keep Best Western on the top of my list for hotels to stay at.

We drove from Calgary to Quebec City and back again. This was our penultimate stop and the last of 18 facilities that we stayed at that were new to us. Most of them were reasonably comparable price-wise and we would rate it among the top three of our stays, no question. Beyond the usual amenities one comes to expect at a Best Western (spacious clean rooms, ample parking, nice bath facilities, etc. etc.), there were several extra perks that pushed it over the top in our opinion. The complimentary breakfast was easily the best we had... all the hot items (eggs, sausages, hash browns) were of high quality and fresh, there were more juice options available than usual, a fruit salad bar and great bagels and muffins. The bonus was real cutlery! In the early evening, there is the added bonus of soup, veggies and dip and other nibblies available as well. The chicken noodle soup was excellent... two bowls worth for this guy! Finally, the pool area is attractive and the hot tub had good jet power to ease those aching muscles. In our limited interactions with staff, we found them courteous, amiable and excellent to deal with. The hotel is nicely located in the south end of town near the University and easily accessible to the Trans-Canada highway. There can be traffic issues there during rush hours but nothing compared to what you'd experience in the core. If ever we return, we'll positively stay here.

This is an excellent hotel for the price paid. It is very clean with great maintenance and cleaning quite evident. They did offer a very good free breakfast with some hot items such as hashbrowns, eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, and all the continental type of carbs. Easy check in and check out. 10/10. I wish it was a little closer to downtown but it did not hinder my travel nor make it a problem.

Great staff and excellent service. The room was spotless. The bath room was a bit dated but we don't spend a lot of time in there. It was very clean. Close to investors group stadium and transport to the field. Pool looked very nice.

I stayed at the Hotel in September this year and the owner of the hotel had picked me up from the airport great man very help full . All the staff are very friendley and provide great customer services . The breakfast was great and the staff running operation on her own was very helpful and on the weekend the owner was helping his staff to so we stayed for 2 weeks and loved the customer service and we had fun times in the pool area. Over all 10 out 10 made us feel like we were home.

This is a very nice property and any staff we encountered were extremely helpful and courteous. They were also knowledgeable about the city of Winnipeg. I would certainly stay there again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Loved the days when a hotel stay was under $100 in the city ... but with their amazing breakfast selection you just can't beat it!! Best place to stay in Winnipeg Linda the front desk lady goes above and beyond for our family!! Amazing

A snowstorm brought us to Winnipeg a day earlier than planned, Oct 26th after 10pm. I called last minute and was able to get one room. I believe the guest services lady was "Linda", while on my cell, she guided us to the hotel. Very friendly greeting when I walked through the door. Hotel is clean. Beds are comfy. Full breakfast. Thank you for helping us out!

We always stay at this hotel when in Winnipeg. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent, with a huge range of items to choose from. The breakfast area is kept very clean and continually replenished. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable, temperature is easily controlled and there are coffee/tea facilities plus a fridge.

Excellent Staff, great breakfast, fantastic soup and snacks. My weekly stays are very enjoyable. Almost like being at home. Staff all know me by name when I show up and are very helpful and pleasant. Best Western also has a great rewards program.

Nice hotel comfy beds no eating for dinner or lounge to relax and wind down for the day or gathering for families to visit. clean and friendly just not close to any family type restaurants and or entertainment. Staff were all nice and helpful and breakfast was amazing for all. Breakfast hours could go a little longer for the late risers on weekends, but food was good and siting space is crowded.

have stayed many times at the Winnipeg location, Pembina South. a home away from home as we visit our old home town a few times per year and enjoy the rooms, breakfast, amenities and great location for us to use as a home base .

Very clean Hotel and staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's in a great great location to the Investors Group Stadium. Very quite Hotel. The Continental Breakfast was very good - offering a wide variety of food and beverage choices.

a great hotel for a great value, Best Westerns in the states could take lessons from Best Westerns in Canada (at least the ones i have stayed in). Exceptionally nice rooms, very comfortable bed, on a main road but very quiet. Staff was very helpful. I will definitely stay here next time i am in Winnipeg.

Very courteous and friendly staff at check in. Upgraded to a king suite with jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts ever. Room was quiet and comfortable. This is definitely the place to stay in Winnipeg.

This was our first stay at this hotel - really enjoyed it. The room was large and clean, and the staff was helpful and prompt. We had no issues at all. Lots of parking, easy to get into and out of the property. We will stay here again.

We always stay here when we go to the Banjo Bowl in Winnipeg. Linda at the front desk always is funny and kind. The continental breakfast is great and the staff are wonderful. Our beds are very comfortable and the room is always neat! We will stay again next year for sure!

We were very satisfied with all aspects of the Best Western Plus Pembina Inn & Suites, Winnipeg. The staff was awesome ... all VERY helpful and friendly. We had no negative issues whatsoever. It was a great place to stay and I'd recommend it to my family and friends without hesitation.

This is a great place to stay, we stayed 2 nights with our grandchildren and we all had a wonderful time! The room was clean and spacious, comfortable beds, continental breakfast, pool with a water slide, hot tub, and a restaurant close by. Needless to say the kids loved the water slide and pool, and we loved the hot tub, nice relaxing time!

I am 18 and my boyfriend is 20. When we arrived at the hotel we were interrogated for reasons I'm assuming because we are so young. The clerk asked for our I.D's which is required and nothing wrong with that but he then went onto ask me when I turn 19. This confused me because 18 is the legal age here and he can also tell when my birthday is on my I.D. He then went onto to tell us that if we are thinking of having any parties that we need to be quiet by 11 p.m. which is fine because no one wants to be in a hotel where people are noisy but just because we were young he seemed to think that we were going to cause trouble and I thought that was very rude. I felt very unwanted in that moment and gave me an unsettling feeling of the hotel. He then continued to ask if we were having anyone over or if my boyfriend was driving anywhere that day. Perhaps it is part of protocol but it was very rude the way he went about it.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and room was quiet and well ventilated. Enjoyed the breakfast included and one evening the soup and nibbles included over the dinner hour.I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for work since it was beside the business I was working in. I have had bad experiences with Best Westerns before but this hotel was excellent. It seemed new or newly renovated. The restaurant next door was a good place to eat plus there is a pizza place in walking distance otherwise you will be driving for food. I would stay at this hotel again.

Everyone was friendly and helpful; from the cleaning staff to the front desk. It was very clean and everything worked. Breakfast was fantastic and fresh. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again.

Winnipeg's number one destination in my opinion. Great location close to pretty much everything of the city has to offer. Great Saff and an excellent swimming and hot tub area. The breakfast has always been high-quality.

This hotel is very accommodating to requests. Front desk helpful. The room was very large with very comfortable beds and pillows. As well the room was clean with a nice bathroom. The included breakfast was vey good. Early morning was a bit noisy from traffic but nothing serious.

Everything was to B/Western standards friendly helpful staff. Housekeeping awesome restocked everything. The surprise a big pot of soup with snacks waiting for everyone at supper. Be aware lots of road construction in winnipeg it was hard seeing the parking lot driveway. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed here during a very busy time of the Canada Games 2017. The hotel is nicely updated, spacious, great indoor pool area for the kids, and the breakfast is excellent (huge time saver). Our room was very comfortable. All the staff are energetic, and everyone wants to make your stay great, and even the shuttle to and from the airport was very accommodating to our schedule. The owner was mingling with the guests each day, checking in on their stay. I highly recommend for business or family leisure travel.

My wife and I had a quick trip to Winnipeg and enjoyed the comfort Enjoyed our stay at the BW pembina. The hotel was clean, comfortable and easy to access. Located on the Red River. A great restaurant next door with an outdoor patio looking onto the Red River. Large pool, hot tub and water slide room. Would definitely stay here again

OK, now you hear my bathroom rant. Lovely property on the river, close to the university and the new stadium, lots of restaurants in the area and a Starbucks outside the door. BUT, a tiny bathroom with a tiny toilet placed inches above the floor so that if feels like you are falling to sit on it. Upgrade please!!!! One more rant, doubling the room rate just because there is a football game in town, come on, quit gouging. Nice breakfast, pretty location, short toilet!

We very much enjoyed staying at the hotel. The rooms were updated with a nice décor. The rooms were spacious and the lighting was very nice. The breakfast was excellent and having the soup/snacks in the evening worked very well. The pool area is big and well laid out and the waterslide was an added bonus. There was plenty of parking and the location was very good with many restaurants close by for supper.

Lovely hotel, quiet, and great location. We were in to watch the Bombers play, and it is only about a half-hour walk to Investors Group Field. Breakfast was excellent - lots of variety and very tasty! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!

We stayed here for couple of nights while visiting the campus and looking for housing with our son. We had a one bedroom suite with a sofa bed. The bedroom is small with room for not much more than the king bed but did have a TV. However the living area was fairly large with a dining table and small kitchen area. There were a number of options for dinner nearby. This hotel worked well for our purposes.

Professional, helpful, friendly staff. Great breakfast and soup supper. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Located close to restaurants. Have been here multiple times before. Keep going back when in Winnipeg because of the quality of service.

Checked in to this lovely BW Plus property. Front desk staff was cheerful and foendly making me feel very welcome. Gave us bottled water and snacks. Parking is controlled with a parking sticker. Soup and veggies with dips was available on check-in and desk staff brought us ice water too! Room very comfortable with I would say were most comfortable I have slept on in many years. Location is good access to Perimeter Highway. Starbucks across the street. Wished Tim Hortons was close by. Morning free breakfast was well stocked with scrambled eggs, sausage and hash browns cakes. Cereals, toast and bagels. Coffee good with 3 juices too. There was the U Sask football team staying there so we got to breakfast just before them.... Laundry onsite was easy to use. $2/wash and $3/dry. Fridge in room. Ice on 1st and 3rd floors. Nice looking pool but did not get to use it. Elevators pretty quick. Fairly close to city attractions like The Mint and shopping. Overall I am very happy with our choice of hotels and highly recommend this hotel.

Overall a great location, clean, reasonable breakfast and good staff. They have a great pool with a slide and the kids love it. The facilities are good, rooms are clean and the staff is helpful. Breakfast options could be improved.

Great location for attending an event at Investors Group Field. We took a cab to the concert and was able to walk back to the hotel after seeing the long taxi line. Close to bars and restaurants and a short drive to Polo Park for shopping.

The frontdesk who checked in my family was so rude and that she even charged them extra $60 while in fact the reservation is for free night stay. I phoned the lady to ask why they were charge extra, she was not friendly over the phone and doesn't even sound friendly. She just told me to fax the paper showing that the 2 rooms are booked for 7 people which I did faxed back to her. The thing here is that, first she should not be rude in checking in guest just because its a free night stay and she should be move attentive to what the printed reservation details are. She is terrible and it's not acceptable at all cause I too work as a customer service and I always make sure not to show rudeness to people no matter how annoying they might be.
