    « Great as usual »

Love best western hotels, best bang for the buck! I travel a lot and feels good to go to a hotel where they treat you right and have clean rooms and comfortable beds, i recommend best western hotels!!

    « Great experience »

I had a great time at this hotel, I enjoyed the sculptures they have around, good breakfast, friendly people and the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was my first time in this hotel and for sure I will come back!

    « Good stay »

I stay here 3-4 times a year. It's a typical older hotel experience. Nice people. Clean. Good enough. They need to get the breakfast food and location under control. It has ranged from below avg to down right awful.

    « Family gathering »

Our family all gathered here for Thanksgiving about 40 of us had a real good time jacuzzi did not work other than that we have been here three years in a row really enjoyed the place the inside pool is nice lots of games for the kids to play on and it's all indoors so weather does not matter

    « Great Stay »

This was a great stay... Even though it's by the airport it is a very quiet hotel. Didn't have a chance to eat breakfast but it looked good. I like how friendly the staff was they were awesome. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

« OK for one night, nothing more »

We stayed one night to catch a 5:30 flight to Philadelphia. There was a line to check in and only one desk clerk, who, to her credit, was patient and calm. The overall decor is dated with dark hallways and oddly textured walls. Our room was clean although when examined closely, rust could be seen in the bathroom along the ceiling corners, etc. We never got the requested 3:30 am wake up call, and I wasn't given a receipt when I checked out. We were only there for 9 hours, and that was enough. I would look elsewhere when we come back to Wichita. We've had success with BWs overall, disappointed here.

    « One Night »

I stay at this hotel near the airport. I leave my car while traveling to another city. The hotel drops me off to the airport and picks me up delivering to my car so I can drive home. The bellman is very polite leaving my bags at the curb.

« Wonderful place to get together & visit with family. »

We stayed several days at this hotel and had a wonderful experience! Yazmin helped me each time I called & changed my reservations even the slighted bit. Rooms were very clean & courtyard area was great for visiting & areas for children to "unwind"! Nice breakfast area & bar. Friendly staff. Great place for families to get together. We will return. Yazmin was great!!! Thank you, Carol H

    « Annual Meeting »

Room was satisfactory. Front desk staff was friendly. However, the food service was no longer existent, i.e. restaurant was no longer open (we have come to this hotel for years). Catered food was only fair. There was a screaming child next to me for my entire 4-day stay. When I checked at the front desk on the second day I was informed the family was leaving the next day - they did not leave. I had no restful sleep as a result. (I was offered to be moved - not the family who had 6 people in the room where 2 were booked.)

« Fantastic staff and great stay »

Mr Kent Mix and the entire staff made my stay just like being at home. Yazmin, was at the front desk to check me in, and the room was great. Very close restaurant with good service and food. We have always been treated well at this facility, never had a bad stay!

« Badly in need of update »

This property is dated and in need of new furniture, mattresses and decor. Hallway carpet was dirty. Breakfast food was only average although attendant was very friendly. I would not recommend this to a friend and will likely not stay here again.

    « No pool »

We always stay at Best Westerns. The room was clean, service excellent but we could tell it was an older hotel in need of repair. The pool was down. If we would have known, we could have booked another best western.

    « Excellent Service »

Staff at the Wichita Airport Best Western was wonderful. The people were friendly and very helpful. They shuttle service put it over the top. Accommodations were great. Would highly recommend the place and will be going back.

    « Business »

Hotel was awesome! Staff was great! Had all the amenities needed for my stay. Courtesy shuttle driver was awesome. Second but definitely not the last time I will be staying when I visit whether for business or pleasure.

    « Best experience ever! »

The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The service, including a free ride in the BW van to dinner and back, was an unexpected pleasure.

    « no surprises »

good hotel for the price range, no problems, great staff, clean rooms , nice free breakfast, no problems, just a pleasant stay, i did not use the indoor pool or hot tub, did go into the lounge, very friendly people there, nice place

    « Nice room, quiet »

The property was very nice. The room was quite comfortable and quiet, which surprised me since this was the airport inn, and it had a central party courtyard that my room overlooked. but the room was dark and quiet when i was trying to sleep, and i got a good night's sleep. the bed was comfortable. the accomodations were nice. the hot tub was good. the breakfast had real food -- buscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs and pancakes. i thought it was all good.

« Great Hotel with Great value »

This hotels was clean and well kept. The rooms were large and well maintained. The breakfast was above average. The pool area is a little small but we enjoyed it. The kitchen staff were very accommodating and pleasant

    « Interesting older hotel »

This hotel was a bit confusing, there are two wings of rooms, with a vast indoor space between them, with pool tables, dance floor and putting green. Old school rooms, which means they were very quiet, but dated. Beds were comfortable if one person was in them, slanted towards the middle with two people. Very good breakfast served in the adjoining diner. Pool was a bit shaky, needing paint and the water was not clear enough to make us comfortable going back. Good location near the airport, with many stores and restaurants in short driving distance.

    « In Town for a Wedding »

The bed was very comfortable. Tub didn't have a mat in it so it was VERY slick and dangerous. Mat showed up the last night we were there. Food was good, but we stayed for 4 nights and the breakfast was the same all four mornings...with the exception of the meat changing. Could have used some fresh cut fruit. The pool definitely needs some attention as well as the whirlpool (it was nasty and I really needed a session in a whirlpool). Staff was nice enough.

    « Second chance was a bust. »

I wrote a review for this hotel in December 2015. Jennifer Troxel apologized for our experience and asked us to contact her. I've made three calls, once soon after her request and two most recently. Our family is traveling to Wichita the end of this month and I was hoping things had changed enough to warrant a second chance. Ms. Troxel never returned my phone calls. I would have loved to have been able to return.

    « State Ball Tournament »

We liked the hotel, it was accommodating for the family, we had two rooms between us. They were next to each other, we requested one close to elevator because we had one on crutches, it was about halfway down the hall from the elevator but they were both next to each other. Breakfast was great. All employees were nice and friendly.

« Did not feel safe »

Our room and bed were comfortable and cool. Staff was friendly. However, when we parked on the east side of the hotel after dark, we felt very unsafe, with some very obvious criminal activity leaving the hotel and spilling into the parking lot (not drunks or drugs). I did not contact the front desk; it seemed that they would have had to be blind to miss it. I would find it hard to think that the staff was unaware of it.

    « Comfy beds! »

We enjoyed are stay here. The room was clean and bug free. The beds are so comfy. I liked the big tv and the indoor, out of the heat, play area. The pool thou needs some updates! Kids seem to enjoy it thou. I would of gave a better rating but the WiFi was so in and out that it was hard to do anything that required the Internet... The hot breakfast was great! There was more then enough choices and tasted good too. The front desk folks were nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

« Great Night. Perfect Location »

I give it both thumbs way up, as I came in for work. Had to fly out early. And the staff, the room, the location were perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. It is an ideal situation: Park and Fly, and they were always ready to assist me in any way I needed. The driver of the shuttle even offered to take me out the night before, as long as I didn't abuse his time. I needed sleep, but on another trip I will take him up on the offer.

    « Best Sleep EVER »

Beds were very comfortable and room was clean, never heard any outside noise, and if I were to need this for a reception or anniversary party I would definitely recommend this Hotel! The Courtyard is very clean and nicely Decorated.

« Not a great value for the dollar »

The price of the room was most likely based on the location of the hotel; right near the airport off Kellogg. The room was basic as was the breakfast. The young lady who checked us in the evening of 6/27/16 was extremely helpful, professional and efficient.

    « Rundown »

Run down. Lots of undone maintenance. Bad. Not worth it. Only stayed here because more desireable places were full. High humidity everywhere. Food in buffet was not hot. Food in buffet lacked taste. Will drive from accross town before staying here again.

    « OK »

First, the location of this motel has some difficulties in being able to get to it. If you miss the unmarked frontage road, you have to circle back around to get to it. The check in was prompt and hotel was clean. It was not highly booked, and thus quiet. If you dont like indoor pools, this is a drawback. It had sufficient work out facilities for someone inclined. The walk way carpet had areas showing its wear. The room was clean. I still havent figured out if motels can remotely alter the performance of the AC at night, and it was set initially on 72 and did not run to that level. Then moved to 68 and it performed while we were awake. But then you wake up in the middle of the night and it is not running or cooling. Luckily there was a constant fan button to keep the air flowing. For some reason, not all the TV channels had sound. At first, it looked political, but that station was on in the breakfast area with sound. Breakfast was so so. I am not a fan of fake scrambled eggs, as they just dont taste right. Waffle was very good. I think I would look for a better hotel and location for the same money if coming thru Wichita again.

    « Great rehearsal dinner! »

We booked the smallest of their meeting rooms for a rehearsal dinner 2 weeks ago. Everything was very nice and the booking & catering fees are very reasonable. Jovana, Andrea & Raquel did an excellent job helping us choose the room, decorations and linens (they have LOTS of colors and choices of decorations that are INCLUDED in the room rental fee). The food was very good (we chose the pasta buffet) and again they have MANY catering choices & bar options. We did not use it but they also rent all kinds of video, music, & equipment for presentations. We will definitely keep them in mind & recommend them for wedding receptions, family reunions, group events etc. They are very friendly and have excellent service.

    « Great for Family »

Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Rooms have glass doors to atrium/pool area which includes putt putt golf, shuffle board, pool tables, and other games. It is quiet, clean and well staffed in all areas.

« Nice staff, good laction, but needs updating »

I spent a night here during a road trip. The location is right off of US 54, which was great for me. The desk staff were very friendly and my room was near an exit so bringing in luggage was easy. The carpets were pretty much shot, tattered and lumpy all over the room. The toilet leaked slightly out the back around the seal. I wondered about plane noise when I booked but heard nothing (although I wouldnt complain if there was because anyone who stays at a place called "Airport Inn" and complains about noise is a person who cant take responsibility for their decisions). The breakfast was great, so all in all, good for a night but maybe not for a long stay.

I needed a hotel near the airport as I had a 5:00 AM flight. In choosing the hotel I felt Best Western near the airport had the best price. I had to arrive prior to 2:00 PM and they let me check in. Front desk was so helpful arranging transportation, suggestion for a place to eat and wake up call. Quiet place to sleep as that is important to me.

« Not great; not bad! »

A great place to take kids who like to play golf, pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, etc. - although some games cost money. I liked that the rooms had sliding glass doors onto a gigantic carpeted indoor courtyard - again great for kids. The free breakfast was huge and served in a restaurant like facility. The staff was very helpful. Although the furnishings were dated and a few things not working properly, it was clean and the staff very helpful and prompt in helping when needed. The indoor pool, unfortunately, was too cloudy for comfort so we opted out on swimming.

    « Very Accommodating »

When your train arrives at 3am, but most hotels have a check-in time of 3pm, what's a family to do? Why, check with Best Western, of course! Not only did they let us check in 12 hours early, but they also gave us a late checkout so we didn't have quite so long to wait for our train on the return trip. They had an amazing breakfast buffet, and they gave us shuttle rides at dinner time, so nobody went hungry! The hot tub was a little cool for our tastes, but it was still nice and bubbly, and the staff was very friendly and eager to please. The pillows were lovely and fluffy, and the bed was comfortable. What more could anyone ask?

« Clean & quiet - pleased with free airport shuttle and parking »

We stayed here the night before our flight left the following morning. Enjoyed the free airport shuttle to/from hotel and was able to park/leave our vehicle for free. Our flight was delayed due to weather coming back in and we decided to stay again when we landed. Staff was extremely friendly friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable but pillows are little flat. Other than that it was great. Will stay again.

« Unwilling to provide good solution to dirty room issue. »

I had a very frustrating experience at this hotel. I was gone for a day for a funeral and someone outside of our family put the do not disturb sign, the hotel did not attempt to phone which has been my experience at other hotels. As a consequence, the room was not made up, the bathroom was not cleaned, beds were not made and their were no fresh towels. They do not have 24 hour housekeeping, so the manager told me there was nothing they could do. I have cancer and need a sterile environment. All they offered was to bring fresh towels. I don't particularly blame them for the error, but considering the circumstances, at the very least they should have offered a room change. It was also very hot and took forever for the room to cool down. This was very frustrating.

« Dropping the ball! A facelift to the property would make it #1 »

I've stayed here several times during the years and I hate not being able to give it an Excellent rating! The staff is great and I have zero complaints about them. This hotel is perfect for people with children because they an arcade area, pool, air hockey, and golf right by the pool and I would book here every single time If it wasn't so run down. At an average rate of $100 a night plus tax you' think they'd get the ball rolling. Last time we stayed the Jacuzzi was very dirty and the paint was peeling off of the pool left a lot to be desired. I called to inquire about staying in our upcoming trip but at $114 a night (before tax) I'll go somewhere were they'll give me what I'm paying for.

« Customer Service at Highest Level Wichita, KS Airport »

I am very pleased with the service for the entire service at this facility. I appreciate it I was able to park my vehicle at the facility and received a shuttle ride to and from the faciltiy at no additional cost. The service by the driver was commendable. I had surgery before my trip and the driver had no problem loading and unloading my luggage, the driver

    « Bar only »

So you make a special trip to the bar with your family and closest friends for karaoke Friday. It starts late cause the only person to run the system is late ... Gets going well ... Then they need a long break ... Then return and have to sing ... Ummm customers first ! Duh !!!

    « Southern comfort »

Couldn't have asked for a more friendly hotel staff from the drivers to the people working behind a desk even the cleaning staff. From the moment we called we felt as if we were with somebody we knew and it became more so when we could put those friendly voices to even friendlier faces. My stay was a whole month in that time I felt at home because the staff really know how to take care of their guests. Not to mention the rooms were so clean and were cleaned daily. The shuttle service was phenomenal special thanks go out to Craig, Anthony, Albert, and Hector.

« Stay in Wichita, Kansas »

Best Western Airport Inn. I was attending a 3 day conference at this hotel. The room and hotel as a whole was very clean. But the non-smoking room smelled of old stale smoke. This smell did not go away or get better, it was always there. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

« Friendly staff, Real Eggs, Gross Pool »

I can't get over how friendly the front desk and breakfast room folks are! And REAL EGGS for breakfast? Get out of here! The enclosed courtyard has lots of stuff for kids to do (although I prefer a room that opens to the outside). Other reviewers are correct that the pool looks too sketchy to try, though.

    « Needs a lot of attention »

Hotel is older and in need of attention. Bathroom ceiling tiles were hanging down in bathroom. Towels were tiny and rough. Bed was uncomfortable. I really believe in Best Western and stay in them all the time for business. This one fell far below my expectations.

« Best Western Airport Wichita »

Best Western is the best place to stay. They make sure you get to the port on time and back to the hotel after the flight. They also provide transportation to the airport which is a major plus for me and my family.

« This Hotel needs better maintenance »

The hotel sounded good and the lcoation was good. We were looking forward to a relaxing night with the family. I was very disappointed. The hotel needs upgrading and the pool and hot tub were disgusting. Two of three ice machines dis not work. I would not stay there again. I think Best Wetern needs to inspect their hotels more often. It was definately not up to standard.

    « Great stay for a reunion »

This is an excellent hotel for family reunions, birthdays, or anything that involves a group staying! The staff is all very friendly and helpful if you have a problem. We had a medical emergency and they were excellent.

    « Quality People »

We booked a room for a sleepover 13th birthday party for my 2 daughters and one of her friends. Check in was enjoyable because of the genuine friendliness of the front desk clerk. We were given a room right off the center courtyard giving us immediate access to the games and pool. The TV didn't work butt the front desk immediately sent a polite young man to fix it. Turned out to be a faulty surge protector. It took less than 10 minutes to completely fix the issue. We've stayed before this time and will stay again in the future.

« Over night for concert »

This Best Western is great. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was ready to help with any needs. We took their shuttle to the concert and had them pick us up afterwards. Both shuttle drivers were pleasant answered any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

« Excellent stay, fantastic staff! Great for groups! »

The majority of my travel is business and I'm loyal to another brand. I stayed at the Best Western Airport Inn for a college softball tournament and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to bring a large group to the Wichita area. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, as if we were guests in their own homes. They are the true stars of this hotel! The property is old, but well maintained and very clean. There is plenty of parking for cars, vans and busses and the lot is well-lit. The rooms are HUGE, making it convenient for large groups with multiple bags and equipment. Breakfast is served in the diner and was included in the very reasonable price of the room. The scrambled eggs are real! In addition to eggs, potatoes and sausage, they also offered biscuits and gravy and pancakes. Yogurt, cereal and pastries are also available. Breakfast staff were friendly and quick to replenish hot items on the buffet. The Wi-Fi worked well!

« Decent place to stay »

This hotel is somewhat dated, but well kept and well maintained. If you have kids, they will enjoy the game area with swimming pool, billiards, small miniature golf course and shuffle board. The breakfast food is some of the best I have had for free breakfast. Especially appreciated the scrambled eggs not being from a powder mix. will the road work in this area, it is a challenge to get to this hotel. Hopefully with completion of the work this will improve.

    « 2 night stay »

We were in Wichita to watch our daughter play college softball. Beds were very comfy, breakfast was very fresh with great variety. Breakfast staff was extra attentive with juice or coffee refills and friendly. Loved the large enclosed courtyard with tables to sit and chat at. Had nice bar and the wait staff was attentive. However, the karaoke was just a couple notches to loud, and when they hit certain notes a little sharp OUCH. We couldn't even hear what the people at our table were saying without yelling over the karaoke. We put up with it for about an hour then had to leave. Will definitely stay here again next year.

    « Conference »

I was so happy to stay at this Inn. I appreciated the cleanliness, hot tub/pool and even putt putt golf. The breakfast was served in a nice restaurant ..not out in the lobby. The highlight was to be able to gaze at the wonderful bronze statues throughout the hotel...beautiful

« Good value decent hotel »

We spent one night here on a visit to the Wichita area. While the hotel is sort of nondescript on the outside the interior is quite good. It is built around a large atrium in a rectangle shape. The open area contains sitting areas, some games/game tables/mini-golf and an enclosed pool. The rooms on one side of the hallways face the atrium area while the others look out onto the parking lots. Our room was first floor atrium side and located at the quiet end (i.e., away from the games area and pool) The room was very large with two full size beds, work table and chair, large easy chair, large wall mounted TV, a mini fridge and a small microwave oven. The bathroom is divided with the toilet and bath/shower in one room and the sink and counter in another. Everything in the room was spotlessly clean and worked as intended. The carpet and bedding and towels appeared to be very new. Not a single complaint about the room. Breakfast is included and it was a typical hotel spread with scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, french toast, bagels, pastries, cereal, yogurt, juices and hot tea and coffee. Way beyond the "continental breakfast" advertised on the web site. The location is on the edge of the airport in sort of a mixed industrial/lodging/dining area and not exactly attractive but had no bearing on the hotel itself. Just to the north on Ridge Road are multiple places to eat for lunch or dinner. Overall a good place to spend the night and excellent value considering the very reasonable cost of a room. The staff were all friendly and helpful as well.

    « Very convenient »

Being able to park and get a ride to and from the airport makes it a great value all by itself. The fact breakfast is included in the price helps, also. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it was just one night.

    « reservation »

booked my room on line with best to the motel was told they needed credit card.gave her one said it would work gave her a different card .a week later i have been billed twice once on the first card i gave her, then full price on the second card. checked with them twice about me refund. they told me it would take ten days to get my money back.nobody ever explaned why i was billed twice.

« Nice to play with the grand kids! »

This was my first time to stay here, and I was very pleased. I had a lot of fun playing in the game room and swimming with my grandchildren. I stayed here several days, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Bellman went out of his way to be of assistance. The only problem that I had when I arrived was that one of the roller carts for the luggage would not go straight, but they did have others, which could not be located at the time of my arrival. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing to brag about. Overall, my experience was great, and I will return on my next trip to Wichita.

    « Very good experience! »

We stayed here when our flight was canceled and the airline gave ua a hotel voucher. After a gruelling and heartbreaking 4 hour drama at the airport, we ended up checking at Best Western at 11:45 PM, along with a bunch of other disappointed, stranded travelers. The hotel staff was extremely efficient and courteous. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There was a restaurant/bar in the hotel (we decided to get a drink after our ordeal.) A complimentary breakfast buffet was available in the restaurant, and it was surprisingly good. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because the decor is dated and worn. It is NOT a luxury hotel. But it was a very pleasant place to stay.

    « Will be back »

We have always stayed at Best Westerns and never have had any bad experiences. Stayed twice in the last 2 weeks in Wichita and this was exactly what we expected. Staff was helpful and friendly, rooms were clean, and beds were comfortable. Will be back

« Stay at Best Wester Airport Inn, Wichita, KS »

Excellent experience every time we stay here. We prefer this motel to others when staying in Wichita, KS. Very professional and courteous staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Always coffee and tea available. Good location close to fine eating places and shopping. And they are very pet friendly.

    « Amazing service »

From the time I walked in the building I've felt nothing but love, we discussed superheroes and the area. My room is spotless with every amenity I could ask for, the shuttle wherever you need to go is a godsend and they seem to actually enjoy their work..can't buy that, I would recommend any day of the week

    « Avoid this hotel »

This hotel is barely holding on. My wife called it "extremely crummy." The outside door of our wing was broken and wouldn't lock. The hallway smelled of chlorine. The toilet handle stuck in place--every time. The breakfast eggs were dry--and greenish. Trash littered the floor behind the counter in the "diner." I'm not usually one to complain--but this place is a hotel in name only.

    « Room smelled »

Room smelled like smoke and TV did not work at all , room wasn't as clean as we needed it to be. Pool area needed some serious updating, hot tub not functioning properly. Breakfast was best thing about stay and it was very average at best. Wife is still mad at me over this pick for over night stay.

    « thank you »

our flight left at 6 am so we could not eat the breakfast but they did make us some bags to go. and on the way back took us to get food at midnite. We will definetly stay there again. my boys loved teh courtyard area with all the games, much nicer than being stuck in your room.

    « uncaring staff »

I reported several times that my toilet kept running and no one fixed it. I had to shut it off every night so I didn't have to listen to it run every 2 minutes. Across from my room the roof was leaking in the hallway. One of the worst hotel staff I've ever dealt with. The night time desk lady was very rude and cold. Their restaurant is now closed and only serve breakfast. Find someplace else to go. Not here!

« Our "home away from home" no longer exists. :( »

This hotel has always been our "home away from home" while visiting family in Wichita. We've shared special family memories in the courtyard area and have been comforted by very special staff while there for funerals. We were there recently, 12/22, and our experience was horrible. The woman working the desk was NOT like the lovely staff we've experienced before. She was short with us and did not do what she said she was going to do. The hot tub was broken, the pool was ice cold, the room was dated and disheveled. This experience really put a damper on our Christmas celebration with our family as the pool was going to be part of the fun. The only thing I can think of is management/ownership has changed. This is NOT the Best Western it used to be, that is for sure. We've lost our "home away from home."

« First time and last time we will stay »

We did not enjoy our stay I had called the 12/6/15 day of check in before we were to arive. I had a couple questions about late check out and shuttle to the garth brooks concert as our concert wasn't until 3 sunday. Had asked if we could check out and still take advantage of the free shuttle since we would be paying 115$ the clerk I spoke with informed me rudely "no actually you are paying 99$" me saying no actually it is 115$ after tax... then her looking and confirming. Got my questions answered finally. Upon check in around 6-6:30 that evening front desk was nice efficient and helpful NOTE the employee I refer to each time being rude is the same lady as I spoke to on phone. So then the lamp in out room did not work nor coffee pot. We had missed placed breakfast voucher so we went up in the morning and got a new one. Had witnessed the front desk being short &rude to another lady. Then when it came to us she never once made eye contact with us while acting like our requests put her out. So now onto the breakfast. Everything was completely empty maybe a scoop of potatoes. No regular coffee and was completely under staffed for the amount of people that were eating... we left. My husband went to check out and then had asked when the hold that I discovered on my account would be released again was rude while not making eye contact again. Which by the way I was not informed of the hold at time of booking or check in. No creamer in lobby coffee was old. Also I am a front desk host at a days inn I know how guests should be treated... I also do houskeeping so I also know what should be kept up with.

« I just will say I will not stay here again »

this place does not feel like home like most Best Westerns there were only one staff member that knew what he was doing, and he was the shuttle driver. pool and hot tub (gross). The management team does not care about you I called and called before I arrive and never got a call back. I should have known by that not to stay but I love the guy that drives the shuttle so I said I am going back just to see him and barrow some of his talent. FYI dude don't waste your talent in that place.

    « Generally Good »

This is a nice hotel that offers convenient shuttle to airport and you can leave your vehicle while you are gone. They have a nice little sports bar and a fair place to eat. It is close enough to other eating places that you dont have to travel far. Rooms are not to bad. Didnt care for the bed too much, could be updated some.

    « Good Stay »

The staff help me by getting to every place where I needed to go The room was clean and very comfortable, no issues with the room. The check in staff was very helpful, the van driver helped in a big way.

    « Great place »

This is the second time our family stayed here we had 37 in our group. From the doorman to the cleaning staff everyone made us feel important and welcome every minute of our stay. The complementary breakfast was good and again the service was great. One of the things we like most about this place is the large area in the middle of the building with all the stuff for everyone to do

« great Wichita airport or west Wichita location »

This is a well maintained property very near the airport with available shuttle. The property is showing its age though as the breakfast area is a bit dark (former restaurant area). Pool was not available while we were there, though we had not planned to use it. The hotel area is safe but not very walkable. Location is along a primary business area and West Wichita mall only about a mile away. Easy interstate & highway access. Hot breakfast order taken from menu with a few items also available from buffet area. Coffee always available in the lobby, although by late night it was barely warm. Rooms have refrigerator and microwave. Rooms are large & TV was a bit above average quality.

    « A Great stay »

After a long day the friendly staff had us in a clean and comfortable room in no time . After a great night sleep got us to the airport in time for a trip . They were waiting to return us to the motel after our trip. Great art throughout the motel!

    « Excellent »

my group The Order of the Amaranth has used this hotel for a number of years and will continue to do so. We were disappointed that the restaurant had to close but the hotel staff had transportation available for those that did not have a car to take us anywhere we wanted to go

    « This bugs me »

Upon check in woman was rude and arrogant and little bugs flying around room and when I told woman at front desk she said she would take care of it and didn't,also I requested a single room with a king size bed and they gave me a double with torn carpet, I called and asked if they had a single room with a king size bed available and they said they had several, when I asked the woman at desk she said no there all the same.

« Annual Meeting in Kansas »

The front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. Closing the restaurant for lunch and dinner just two weeks before the convention made it difficult for those attending the convention who flew in. The restaurant was closed only two weeks prior to this convention. We have been coming to this hotel for several years and always enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant.

« Some problems but good customer service »

We stayed here for 4 nights. When we checked in, the bed wasn't made. Housekeeping was quickly called and the room was finished. Second night, noticed a stain on a sheet not caused by us. Housekeeping came immediately, cleaned the room, and changed out the bedding. The hotel serves a breakfast buffet on weekends and a limited menu the rest of the week. The breakfast was good for two mornings but the third morning was a disaster (a cook didn't show up). The front desk discounted our room for one night and gave us sacked breakfasts with an apple, a bottle of water, and a granola bar. The a/c took awhile to cool but works okay. The room was quiet and was handicap friendly. The staff were all really nice and offered to shuttle us to nearby restaurants if we desired. We would definitely return.

« Not a pleasant stay, most of the amenities not in order »

We only stay in this hotel for a transit cause it is close to the airport and we arrived in orlando in the midnight. But we faced so many problems with the buildings problems i.e. Toilets flush is not workings, carpet is not clean, a/c were making terrible terrible construction sounds, the going down button at the elevator is not working, we had to go down by the stairs to ground floor to pick up our luggage, breakfast room was too small and to make it worse, the breakfast was terrible too. Good things we only stay there for 8 hours.

« I wouldn't want my Honeymoon in their Honeymoon Suite »

I spent Fri/Sat night in this hotel, have not been here in years. Because of my mobility issues, I requested a 1st floor room. The only one they had available was the Honeymoon Suite. Furniture was stained and scarred, a bug crawled across the bathroom floor, a very old-out dated red heart shaped bathroom next to a regular bathtub was a little much. Old fashioned foot board on bed gave my husband a huge bruise. Wouldn't stay again.

« Pretty good place to stay!! »

Got this on Priceline for $63 plus taxes and fees. Got there about noon to see if we could check since we were going to a wedding later and didn't know what time we would be back. No problem, they got us checked in quickly and we were on our way. Returned after the wedding, our room was on the bottom floor inside close to the north door, east side. I was a little concerned that we would have a lot of noise from the game/sports area but it never was a problem. Room was large and clean. Bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept in but it was OK. Room had a good sized fridge and MW. Hotel offers free wifi but didn't need it with my phone. Had good hot water with plenty of pressure. Overall, pretty good place to stay for the money.

    « Stay was average »

Breakfast is included, and it is a hot breakfast, but they are not consistant in offering a buffet or menu. Rooms are clean, and location is convenient, but needs carpet replacement, as the rooms smell a little musty. Overall, ok for the price, and the rooms have been clean for every stay, beds are comfortable.

    « very nice »

Had an inside room and never heard any planes from nearby airport. Breakfast and staff were great. TV did not work when we arrived, but we were able to change rooms with no problems. Plenty of places to eat nearby and stores. Wasn't too far from downtown event we were attending.

    « great stay »

nice older hotel, very clean , staff is fantastic breakfast and breakfast staff are not that great .. if your in a hurry skip breakfast and find it elsewhere Dinner at the restaurant is great though,,chicken and waffles are amazing as well as the monte cristo ...YUM

« Fantastic Breakfast, Hotel could use some updating »

After 12 hour drive was greeted by Yasmin's bright smile. She was very nice and oriented us to the hotel. Unfortunately, the restaurants are not open on Saturday night. Nothing close on this end of town either. Settled for fast food. The pool door is left open so the chlorine smell permeated our hallway, but not the room. The included breakfast was fantastic and the waitress was so friendly. The woman at the front desk was not.
