I was very disappointed that the television was unable to receive Wi-Fi signal for use of my fire stick The hotel boasts that there is high-speed internet but yet cannot work on any of their televisions I was told. I would not have selected this hotel had I known about this.
0/5 “BEST” WESTERN? NOTHING “BEST” ABOUT IT! DO NOT STAY HERE. I DO NOT BELIEVE THE 4 or 5 STAR REVIEWS, PROBABLY EMPLOYEES! The room was dirty, the floor was wet and soaked our socks(gross), the AC did not work(it was 90 degrees or higher all week) and the maintenance man never showed up to fix it (even though he apparently lives on site), it smelled of smoke, had tons of fruit flies, dirty fridge, no towels at all in the bathroom, the floors had not been vacuumed, no crib in our room as requested, and trash had been left on the counter. The front desk stopped answering our calls. When we went to the front counter to ask for a different room, they had all gone home for the night! Both Customer Service and the hotel were hard to deal with. No one wanted to refund me the $100ish. How much would that have hurt the company? But I guess if they refunded all of the people complaining in these reviews, they would be out of business. At the very least, this hotel should be shut down or remodeled, with new staff added. I spent weeks trying to get a refund. I spoke with Corporate, who were very polite but each person I spoke to had the same literally scripted response. I was told to call the hotel. The manager had the front desk person speak to me (which took 4 days) Finally, I was offered 15% off of my next stay(who said I would ever be staying there again). I told them that wasn't acceptable. When I finally spoke with the manager, Sonjay, he offered me 25% off of my next stay, then cut it back to 15% because too much time had passed (I've been at this for 18 days!), then he took the offer completely off the table because I didn't book directly through the hotel. The owner of this particular hotel, Mukesh Desai, might want to visit. He may be shocked and ashamed that his hotel looks like it does. Would he stay here? And the CEO of the company, Larry Cuculic, should be making sure the name of the company he runs is in good standing. Would he stay in this Best Western? I think not.
Decent value for the price. The hotel is nothing special and gives the appropriate value for a two star hotel. I stayed on the second floor, and my room was clean with no problems and no concerns. However, other reviews mentioned that their room smelled like animal pee. This was not a problem in my room, or in the hallway on the second floor, however, when I walked downstairs for check out, I was horrified at how badly the first floor really DID smell like animals. I would definitely recommend staying on the second floor if you choose this hotel. It smells like someone has been living on the ground floor with a whole pack of wet dogs. One final note - The hotel could really use some soundproofing because The hallways are very echoey and sound carries well… which is not a great feature in a hotel when you're trying to sleep. None of the other guests were particularly loud or bothersome - normal activities, such as talking, opening and closing doors, etc. - but the acoustics of the hallway, make everything that happens out there feel like it's happening in your room. So sleep was difficult. However, the room was clean, and I felt safe, and those are the most important things for me when staying in a hotel.
Avoid this hotel! Three times during the one night we stayed, someone banged on our room door. The limited amount of towels were filthy! upon opening the towels, there was black dirt. I went to the front desk, came upon a kiosk with person talking to me and we could not get any ice. Best Western? This was the worst Western!!
Four dogs barking at all hours both nights, Management's attitude was “too bad”. I travel with my show dogs so I guess they figured putting me next door to the barking dogs who belong to employees residing at the hotel was OK. It was not.
Flying insects in my room. Woke up to multiple bug bites. The mattress was hard and every movement you heard the springs. The room had new furniture but the room was in much need of updating. Hardware and outlets were yellow and rusted. Carpet was filthy and stained. Lighting is very poor in the room. Smelled of cigarette smoke. Staff were behind bullet proof glass and were unfriendly. Breakfast consisted of scorched scramble eggs. No options of fruit, meat, yogurt, - I have never experienced such a poor bw breakfast as this. BW you can do better.
Checked in on a Thursday for a 3-night stay and discovered the toilet didn't flush properly and that there was limited to no hot water coming from the shower. The shower was also gross. The room's AC unit also continuously powered off. It was 9 at night with a 3-night stay ahead, so I opted to check out and find better arrangements. Later on after requesting a refund, the hotel denied the refund to Expedia, claiming I was using the reservation. I've been at La Quinta since Thursday at nearly 10 PM. This is absolutely unacceptable and downright theft. Do not stay at this location.
Ive stayed at this property in the past since they have plenty of parking for my truck and trailer as well as its easy in and out. This trip was on my run back to cape cod from Florida. The automated check in is straight forward and easy as well as the check out. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I will be back again!
ORIGINAL REVIEW We checked in Saturday 3/2 and checked out 3/3. I reserved the room under a different card and checked in with my credit card to receive rewards points. I swiped the card and used my original card for the $50 deposit. Same night I see a pending transaction on my credit card for 105, the other card which the deposit was supposed to be on had a pending charge of $60 and another for $66.26. 3 days later I check my statement and see that they removed the room charge of 105 from my credit card and charged it to the other card that was used for deposit, still pending 66.26. I went back 3/6 and they apologized for the inconvenience and refunded the card the 105 and charged the appropriate card finally. It is now 3/14 and I still have a pending 66.26 on my card. The manager Sanjay has no idea what's going on and is very slow in getting to the bottom of this. My bank deducts pending transactions so at one point I had almost 180 in pending charges! I emailed a photo of my statement to the manager to show I was not lying and haven't heard from him since. Update again 3/15 spoke to the owner and the only way for me to get my refund was to delete my original review. As I'm deleting the review, the front desk woman is talking loudly about how she didn't see a transaction and said I was a liar. I told her this has nothing to do with her and she told me if I have a problem that she gets off at 3pm SMH! I put the review back up with the new update. Very bad business. Will be calling cooperate. At this point, the drug addicts in and out and the horrible sunk in couch in room 127, were the least of my worries. Update 3/17 owner responds to my review on google acting as if I haven't been dealing with him through the entire process. He was there while his employee threatened me, and he did nothing but tell his employee to shoosh.
All i can say is i rather have slept in my truck! My room was dirty! Floors where nasty turned beige socks into black socks, Suspect mold on bathroom walls, Stained towels to the point i went to a local Walmart and bought a towel and wash cloth. If i had checked in early i would have found a different place. FYI i don't give many bad reviews but this place deserves it!
This is a very dishonest place. They say they won't charge your card until you check in but they charged mine before, which means a naughty 3rd party gave them credit card information even though their site itself asks the customer not to do it. Clever rip off. I'm going to dig this hotel a grave every day for the next 40 years. Enjoy
If you are looking for a clean hotel and good night's rest, this is a great spot. I was looking for a hotel near the freeway to break up my drive. It is 20-30 minutes from Philadelphia and 20-30 minutes from Princeton. The rooms have tons of outlets to charge electronics. The hotel is located in the same parking lot of Applebee's and Cracker Barrel, so your choices of food are good. They offer a free hot breakfast and there is a 24 hour coffee machine in the lobby.
A.great group of amazing people work here. They work their butts off to make everything goes well with your stay. Breakfast was good. Having some sort of meat would have been great. Of course, at any hotel the constant slamming of doors is expected. I think I was put next to the loudest, most obnoxious people in the world. TV at highest setting, then them trying to talk over the TV. I ask for another room but they never got back to me. Little disappointing there.
I would describe our room as spartan but clean and comfortable. There is an Applebees literally across the parking lot - a plus if you like Applebees. The price was reasonable and the hotel is convenient to two major north-south highways.
The breakfast was basically cereal, muffins, hard boiled egg and bagels. No standard meats or prepared eggs. Guests were obviously smoking throughout the night on the second floor. Aside from the person at the front desk there appeared to be no other staff on site to enforce rules or address problems.
Updated bath lights & lamps in sleeping area with many outlets for charging your devices. Newer carpet. Limited towels. Breakfast limited on choices with no bacon or sausage? Pool area closed. Average
This by far is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in!! The room smelled like smoke, the carpet was filthy, the bathroom was dirty especially the toilet seat, the outlet's in the bathroom didn't work and the tub was dirty as well. The shower pressure was low and the TV was from Sharp a brand that does not even make this anymore. The hotel claims it was remodeled but it was defense advertising. This hotel needs to close down and completely start from scratch. It was disgusting! I cleaned the bathroom myself.
First night - toilet clogged. 1 used roll of TP. 1 towel for Two guests. Bedding was a sheet and a thin blanket. No one up front. Phone wouldn't connect to receptionist it went dead and customer service number said nothing they could do about it. I had to purchase items to stay. 2nd night: AC leaked all over the floor and no one up front to speak to in regards to this. Expedia won't do anything and Best Western says the manager of the hotel will call me. It's been almost 2 weeks and I haven't heard a word from the hotel and customer service won't do anything. Legit told me "there's nothing we can do for you." I've called multiple times. Manager is never on site. If you can, avoid staying here. They charge way to much for what you put up with. Spoke to the owner, they won't do ANYTHING at all to make this right. Do not stay there.
By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. In addition to feeling unclean, it felt unsafe. We had to cut breakfast short because there was a man wandering the lobby area with pants around his knees yelling about someone stealing his money. Because there's only a kiosk and not actual front desk staff, there's no one on site to handle these kinds of issues so that guests are safe and comfortable. The entire hotel reeks of smoke because staff are constantly smoking right outside the door. If you planned on using the business center, don't. During the 3 days we were there, early morning to late at night, the staff's kids are parked at the computer playing games. Fitness center? Shirtless man in a clown mask just hanging out. This place is like something out of a movie, I'd sleep in my car before I'd stay here again.
I wasn't happy cause the 1st night all I kept hearing was doors slamming then the last night all I heard was kids running up and down the hallway then slamming doors again I barely got any sleep it will be a very very long time till I stay here for a while
Decent hotel for a quick trip. Nothing special, nothing fancy. Room was clean. The biggest problem is that the building is pretty old and lacks sound-proofing. People talking outside in the hallway sound like they're in your room- you can hear every word. If you're a light sleeper, you may hear other people's doors open and close all night. Also, the window for breakfast is really short- 7am-9am on Sunday. Overall however, for the price, I would stay here again.
This place REEKS of smoke! As soon as you pull up, all the employees are smoking just outside the front door. As soon as you enter the lobby, the first thing you smell is smoke. The rooms are "non-smoking," but smell like smoke covered up by deodorizer. The breakfast is instant eggs and bagels. The coffee is garbage. Yes, it's half the price of the Hilton across the street, which I'm guessing is the only reason it has a 4-star review. If you're a smoker looking to save a few bucks, you'll love it!
I booked this hotel because I was going to a funeral for my family. I arrived with my 1 year old son and there were people smoking in the lobby. There's no person at the front desk nor is there security. Check in was quick, but when I got to my room it, I was disgusted to find that the bathroom was not cleaned properly there was hair in the shower. I tried calling someone at the "front desk" and I remembered that it doesn't exist. They advertised a pool, the pool doesn't exist "under maintenance". I would have just canceled my reservation and went else where but we arrived back from the funeral late and when me and my son finally fell asleep. Someone was banging on our door at 1am. Waking up my 1 year old. I would never recommend and never book here again.
The rooms are really clean and nice. The property itself was ok but the virtual check-in can be an issue if anything happens like if the debit or credit card isn't compatible for the deposit u can be stuck and stranded but other than that I will definitely be going back here whenever I visit south Jersey
Horrible experience! Disgusting room! We were in Rm 115. Entire hallway stunk of smoke— and hallway itself looks so shabby & unwelcoming! Beds were awful! I almost fell off while trying to put shoes on because entire mattress/bed moved while sitting on side!!! Bed blanket had red stain (God knows what it was) so took off bed and slept w/o blanket. There was a live flea on my bottom sheet when I was going to bed!!! The floor was so sticky n dirty I was scared to remove my shoes!! We tried to call the front desk but of course there isn't one!! No humans— only a video kiosk!!! And when finally got to leave, there was only 1 elderly woman working to clean rooms, while 4 younger employees stood outside smoking instead of cleaning!!! (Obviously because there's no human beings in charge!!) WILL NEVER RETURN!!!
This was by far the worst hotel we have stayed at. We reserved a Pet friendly room. Person booked us a room with a king size bed. When we got there at about 3:30 in the after noon we were informed king size was not pet friendly. They charged us another $50.00 and had to clean a room for us. We waited almost thirty minutes with our dogs in our vehicle. When we got into room it smelled horrendous. You could smell dogs and chemicals so strong it burned your nose and eyes but did not really mask the pet smell. Could not figure out why none of this sockets were working. After looking under the table the wires were cut and the wire to telephone was also cut. Kids running in hallway u til late in the night. Door safety lock was held on by one screw. It appears a worker who was taking out trash was also smoking marijuana from a pipe while working. For the pice we paid of almost five hundred dollars was not worth it and will never stay again.
The rooms are clean, the service and housekeeping are nice and location safe and quiet. I used laundry and was very easy to use. I recommend this place for location, safety and clean. If you come with kids this is a nice place to stay at night in New Jersey.
Upon entry to the hotel the glass entry doors were cloudy and looked as though they had not been cleaned ever. The first room assigned did not meet my expectations for cleanliness. The second room offered also did not meet my expectations and had a view of the roof drainage system immediately outside our window. The linen smelled of smoke and we are NOT smokers and the pillows needed to be replaced. Both rooms needed the floors to be cleaned as there was visible debrie and food. There was no 24-hour desk manager in the event of issues or requests; after hours there was only a walk-up-kiosk. We were not able to connect to the offered Wi Fi. The pool was closed indefinitely according to a posted sign. The breakfast offerings were not acceptable, so we went to the nearest IHOP. We decided not to stay an extra night as we were too uncomfortable with the conditions and the amenities.
The reviews were POOR but I needed a room with 2 beds and the higher rated hotels were sold out. I knew the area and decided to take a chance. Roger and Kamilah at the desk were so accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this hotel anytime. It's newly renovated. My room AC was great and the shower was clean with great water pressure and CLEAN SHOWER CURTAIN. I was unable to experience the Complimentary Breakfast due the the hour I needed to leave in the morning. Kelly the housekeeper on duty was very helpful and approachable when I requested more towels. The only thing I would like to see are bigger softer bath towels.
Beyond happy with this hotel, definitely best in the area. Clean, accommodating & staff is excellent. Owner is wonderful & wants best for hotel guests. Safety is key & other hotels were not. Will stay here every time.
The hotel was great but had a few problems and no one to answer them, as it is done by computer , the food was great nice hot breakfast, everything was clean, no pool said it was down and was not sure when it would be up
Stopped there after a long drive. Price was excellent. Beds were nice and comfortable. Only hoops was mildue on the shower wall. Breakfast was typical but free. I would go there again without hesitation. Easy access, free parking and quick breakfasts
Pool and Hot tub both under construction. Breakfast was minimal selection and limited hours. Fitness Center equipment was broken. Room smelled like it was mopped with dirty water. No staff. Had to talk to a kiosk.
Worst experience, felt unsafe, creepy, limited personal experience, hear conversations from other rooms , traveling cross country this is the worst place I have stayed at in so far. Travel from California, through the mid west, ny and nj and now return through south
This isn't a luxury hotel. It's a regular, average hotel. It was a very nice stay, it was clean and the breakfast was simple breakfast items but it was free and wasn't bad food. The staff was nice and helpful.
I would like to first start I was not greeted at all by anyone at my stay nicely. If i could give 0 stars i would. I was welcomed with a kiosk virtual assistant stating my room was not available as they over sold. This hotel is under very poor management and is not coordinated or ran well. As I have family managers in the hotel business they share with me how a hotel should be and I would be embarrassed to say I stayed here. Where do i begin, I traveled all day and got to my hotel and my room wasn't available then i had to find a nearby hotel to stay at for the night. I go back to this site in the morning in hope to talk to someone and I had to hunt down a staff member along with other upset guests. To this day i am writing this review the hotel manager has yet to contact me back by phone or email in regards to my long awaited refund for the night i was charged for when i didn't even have a room. I was then told my room would be available the following night as I already knew it would not be good. Room was ok, guests noises are heard through walls super thin, bathroom shower was in my opinion “half assed.” Amenities for a hotel guest is on the low low scale and I would never stay at this hotel or a best western ever again. I recommend if you are picky and want to be comfortable and feel welcomed this is not the place for you.
If you are thinking of staying here, don't! Book another hotel. You won't regret it! The staff are not helpful or friendly. There is no front desk person. The rooms are not clean and the walls are so thin, you can hear everything going on in the hotel at night. If you are missing towels, you will not be given extra. I had to go buy towels from a nearby target because there is no one on site to help you. Stay away from this hotel!
The rooms and facilities were clean and adequate. It is somewhat difficult to see from the main road as the signage and lighting are barely visible at the entrance drive. This is a very basic lodging, good forpeople who only require a place to sleep. There is no lounge, pool or outdoor seating area. Breakfast was minimal and despite the large number of guests very few people stopped to eat before check out.
The pillows were fluffy, the room was cold, Since no carpet in the room it makes the room colder, bed a like hard. Like microwave and fridge. Food was close enough to walk. Check in was talked through a kiosk with a person via video.
Convenient in location but not worth the price. Stayed at this location last year around this time of yr and it was a night and day difference. The clerk had to change my room twice and that location was at the top of the stairs. Between the chemical musty chemical odor and the noise not sure which was worse.
Talking to a screen was a little weird, but it was fast and safe and I appreciate the speediness of the process above everything when it's late at night and I just want to get to sleep. Nice quiet hotel, too.
Would NOT recommend. The hotel smelled horrid. Our room was very dirty, sheets had brown stains across them, floor was covered in trash, food, and dirt. There were bugs on walls and next to bed. There was mold growing on window. Did not feel safe in the room or parking my car in the parking lot. The manager and front desk staff was rude. When we asked about the room being dirty were laughed at, called high maintenance and told the room probably hadn't been cleaned. Had to leave and find different hotel.
I absolutely love this hotel and the staff. Roz, is totally AMAZING, this woman is all about customer service. In comparison to the Best Western in Bensalem, Pa. the difference is night and day. The Burlington location will forever have my business. I have told my friends, family and associates about this place as well. I think this hotel should be used as how to run a great hotel. Bensalem has no idea. I love you guys..
There is no staff. Check in is at a kiosk and you speak with someone who has a strong accent, probably from another country. I purchased and paid for my room on Orbitz. I was a little annoyed when they wanted to scan my card and hold $50 for "incidentals". The room was clean, but it reminded me of a military barracks. It was spartan and cold. That didn't bother me, I just needed a place to sleep. In the hallways, were people who didn't seem to be your every day hotel guests. It made me wonder if they lived there on a more permanent basis. There was so much noise from loud voices, I finally decided to leave and find another place to spend the night. I went back to the kiosk to check out, and it wanted to charge me an additional $25 for a late check out. (I had only stayed a few hours at that point) I had to talk to summon and talk to the guy at the other end of the kiosk again to get it straightened out. Overall I would recommend you pay a little more and go to a place that actually has staff to monitor what goes on.
This may be the 2nd review i have ever written for a hotel and i stay at a lot for work. Horrible is all i can stay. I can understand if the room rate was 1/2 what i paid, then you get what you pay for! But for this rate and how unsafe this hotel was, i feel i got robbed (thank goodness i didnt actually get robbed). Aside from me being afraid to leave my room at night, the place is disgusting and very dirty. My room smelled so bad of smoke that i used an entire bottle of fabreeze and it still did not cover up the smoke smell. Nothing worked right, including the tv. Well the internet worked so that was a plus. Noisy hallways and i can sleep through anything. Was mostly the staff in the morning making all the noise. Did i say how disgusting and dirty it was? I wore my shoes the whole 3 days i stayed there. If i was not there for business, i would have left as soon as i saw my room. I had no choice but to stay there. Thank goodness i was out on business most of the time The breakfast looked great! Smelled great! But the person setting it up was sick and hacking all over everything so that was a no go also. Just ask to see your room first before paying them the fee. Something i wish i had of done from the start.
The WORST hotel, I've ever been in: FIRST ROOM: Arrived after 12 am on a Friday, to be checked in by a Kiosk where the receptionist is behind a booth which we only see her on a monitor. There are no instructions for checking in. If you are unfamiliar with that process, it'll catch you off guard. The horrible evening began after I was checked into a room on the first floor. The hallway smelled like urine and marijuana, inside my dirty room was a foul odor of weed and smelled of animal urine, there were air fresheners stuck in between the heat/air radiator. I immediately went back to Kiosk, the young lady was MIA and I waited for her to reappear on a screen. Its 1:00 am, I'm a disabled Veteran. I explained everything, waited 30 minutes for someone to move me to another room. SECOND ROOM: Down the hall near end, bucket and rags alongside of room, and door was unlocked and open. Didn't use the swipe card because apparently the staff checked room to ensure it was cleaner or smelled better, However, they didn't check the safety of the entrance door, because when I closed the door from the outside, The doorknob swipe key didn't work! Again, down a flight of steps after 2: am in the morning waiting again on someone to come to Kiosk, total wait again was 30 minutes or more, told no one was there to help me. Can I leave my valuables in the room until next day? I replied no, she then issued me 2 more swipe keys that didn't work. After by fourth visit to front desk, I politely demanded someone test the door! 20 more minutes later a lady (who unfortunately couldn't speak English) where I was trying to explain to her that the doorknob wouldn't rotate to use the swipe key. At any rate she was unsuccessful at trying the door. THIRD ROOM. Room was a little cleaner than the two previous, but the tub & shower stopper didn't work. The tub filled up with water. On top of all of this, I asked for a late courtesy check out because of all that had happened. Kiosk stated: They charge $25.00 per hour for courtesy check out! I left the hotel that morning way before check out and requested the Manager's name (Radhika). I was told that I would receive a call from him/her/ that day. Well I'm still waiting, no call since check out on August 26, 2022. Today is September 8, 2022. Please don't waste your money or time on this Poorly operated hotel.
The other hotel that I had booked canceled on me but best western was literally so helpful and got me right in no problems. Booked my room right away and helped me even get a discount with my AAA. Definitely booking through them again.
Clean and quiet rooms. Pricing was fair. Prolonged stay of a nearly two weeks while waiting for a house to close and never had any issues. The staff was extremely helpful and professional especially Radhika and Karen, who always greeted us with a smile and a willingness to make our stay the best possible. Thanks ladies. Will definitely stay again.
We have not been in a Best Western for a long time and were happily surprised by the cleanliness and the decor. The price was good when compared to other establishments. We arrived late at night and were greeted by someone on a video console. Breakfast was good.
Checkin is virtual, we do not like providing personal info to a prompter while others can here. Rooms were awful. I had 3 rooms for two night stay and each one had plumbing issues, First one was smoked filled, next one had no phone, no tv cable bathroom toilet backed up in 3rd room.
Checking in no staff were there you use a Kiosks. So first room me and my boyfriend are walking down the hallway. First floor we make a left floor is sticky and it smells like pee. It was strong we pass a room and heard a bark. We see air freshers two our side of this room so obviously the hotel is aware of the dog peeing in the room and it causing a stench you can smell in the hallway. I get to the room, mold is running down the wall. I go to the Kiosk, almost in tears the Best Westerns where I live are amazing even the beds. They move me to another room on the pissy smelling floor. I said no second floor please. So this room no smell no problem until the next day. House Keeping came in and gave us wash clothes they had yellow spots on the wash cloths. Final straw. I took all of my stuff and went to my boyfriend's 10 minute's away. The next day a woman is at the desk. She asked did we smell the wash cloths. First off bodily fluid is Hazmat why would we see what looks like URINE AND SMELL IT???? She wasn't trying to refund me even though I didnt stay the other night's I was booked for due to everything. So I finally got through to her after saying I'll contact corporate and she refunded me for the other 2 night's but charged me for 1 night. I do not recommended this hotel!!!!!! I think my whole stay should've been reversed. This was awful!! Expedia did issue a refund but I never once got to speak to the manager the front desk person said she was busy and she could process the refund.
There is so much bad to say about this hotel I don't know where to start. It was just a bad overall experience-from check-in at the front desk, broken shower heads, lousy service, the room key being deactivated (twice during my stay), no front desk attendants at night, and on and on! I will not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel!
Stayed last night the room was ok comfortable and clean unfortunately no facilities pool closed, they gym equipment was damaged etc. breakfast was limited scrambled eggs some bagels was very limited what they were offering l used points to pay for my stay but still had to pay $34 which is a strange charge as no where do they state of extra charges and l use my points to stay overnight on a regular basis. Asked for an explanation nothing no receipt.
Only stayed here for one night, but we had a very nice stay. Room had all the amenities that they mentioned on their website. We had a room on the second floor. They were re-doing the carpeting on the floor, but were already finished on the part where our room was. Shows that they were keeping the hotel up to date. Only had one little problem with the room, which was no big deal. One of the light bulbs above the sink in the bathroom was going bad, so it needed to be changed. Definitely would stay there again if I was in the area.
This was the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTED EVER!!!! Best Western is usually clean, service is usually great, grounds pristine and this place was a dump outside terrible room for a Service and Show Dog Frig didn't work at all, no one around to comlain to in the morning.. Breakfast was disgusting and No one was around to discuss issues with trash all over outside just the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone with an OUTRAGEOUS over $200 fee for a crappy stay couldn't be more upset!
Do not EVER stay at this location!! It's disgusting, dirty and there are no amenities available. No front desk agent was available. Check in was through a kiosk, after I saw the condition of the hotel and room I walked right back out and NEVER stayed the night. Poor management. Location should be closed down!!
The rooms were nasty, the staff was rude. We have stayed in BW all over and this was the worst ever. There was mold in the ac / heater unit, the fooors were nasty and not vacuumed, there was exposed wood in the bathroom, there was mold & dirt build up in the corners of the bathroom floor. The door hinges were rusty, the elevator did not work, and so much more.
When getting checked into hotel, we walked down to our room only to find a do not disturb sign on door. Went back to the desk to be told, he did not know why the sign was there but he did not have time to check (multiple people were waiting, and he was the only one working the front desk). He did eventually send another employee to check and discovered it had not been cleaned yet. Got checked into another room. Walked up the room to discover that it also had not been cleaned, only thing done were beds made. Went down to desk again to see what could be done, was told there was nothing he could do again, he had many other costumers to deal with. Spent about an hour going back and forth with front desk, ended in having another employee go up to check the room to verify nothing had been done other than beds being made. After much more back and forth we left the hotel. We simply wanted a clean room to stay.
The stay itself was decent but they charged me for a day AFTER I checked out of the hotel. The hotel staff is refusing to reverse it and customer service says that the hotel has to handle it. Filled a fraud claim with my credit card company. Beware of this shady place.
I had a great stay at this hotel! Their staff was super helpful, friendly, and accommodating, specifically the GM Samuel. He went above and beyond in his customer service. Someone was always available if anything was needed. Very positive experience!
The cost for a room in this hotel was nearly 50% higher than I usually pay for a night at a BW. The amenities are very limited and the breakfast foods were limited to yogurt, cereal and hard boiled eggs. I chose not to eat here and spent additional money at a nearby restaurant for my breakfast. There are better hotel options in this area.
My recent 3 nights at the Best Western was a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, lots of pillows, and excellent coffee in the room. The housekeeping staff was very nice. Sam and Roger at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating! I will be back.
Front desk was great and very helpful, I have a service dog they are great with that bed was great it is a great place to stay and would stay there again. Loved the fact that there are 3 places to watch right there
didn't stay at the hotel due to the poor condition of the establishment... The rooms I checked were dirty and smelly. I am waiting for my payment to be returned which has not yet been made. My name is Marcos Tulio Duarte Silva.
The hotel look updated and clean at first approach. The lobby was beautifully done and the attendant polite and professional. However, that's where the compliments stop. The parking lot at back of the hotel (the door closest to our room) was littered with trash, our room had a funky smell to it, the shower was barely a drizzle, the television had no sound (yes, we are tech savvy), the fan in the bathroom didn't work, we were allotted two tiny “bath”towels. The room appeared to have been updated with new carpet and fixtures, but the lights didn't all work and the bathroom fan didn't work. Think lipstick on a pig. Would not recommend staying here.
The property is well maintained, offers competitive rates, a clean environment with pleasant helpful staff. The property has two franchised restaurants next to, so convenient once you settle in for the evening. I was pleasantly surprised it has a small gym, enough equipment to get some exercise. And the best of it, is proximity off the Turnpike in a quiet location
Rooms and hotel was clean and staff was great, I would definitely come back and I will advise anyone to stay here. You will not be disappointed. Great job To all the Staff who worked the night I was there
Me, my friend, and their mom had to book last minute rooms and the receptionist named Samuel was helpful and very nice! He helped us out, got us sorted out, and even gave some deals. Highly recommend! The room was nice and clean and comfy too!
The front staff was very nice breakfast was ok the normal stuff waffle, eggs, yogurt juices, coffee and pasty. But the room oh my goodness management need to go check to see staff is not cleaning the room nor bathroom so much stains on the dark carpet tub was dirty 2 hands towels had hair
We arrived early and Samuel was able to check us in. He was kind to us. Although the facility itself is kind of outdated. Spacious parking, close to the restaurants and a 24 hour front desk, very accomodating. I recommend this place and will definitely be back.
We booked earlier in the day, arrived 10pm after a long ride.we were greeted by staff telling/ YELLING at us we don't have a reservation, this GUY WAS MEAN AND OBVIOUSLY HATED BEING THERE! I'm an easy going senior all about peace and love, when he asked my wife what my problem was, we walked out. Trying to get a FULL REFUND from Expedia. Never saw a room but in retrospect after reading reviews, THIS PLACE OBVIOUSLY HAS A SERIOUS PROBLEM STARTING AT THE FRONT DESK! Used to stay at this BW regularly 10 years ago, DEFINITELY NOT TO BEST WESTERN STANDARDS. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Me and my brother stayed here for the holiday weekend to see our family not alot of places left open for reservations so we chose thos one. We had better encounters with other hotels of the same brand so we chose it out of that. Once we came to check in we encountered a man hiding in the back behind the desk yelling at us what do we want I had to yell back to check in it was 1am. Once he slowly came out from the back we began the check in process took some time longer than usual but then again it was 1am so thats to be expected. Once we got to our room we were tired so we went to bed the next morning I woke up back hurting because the bed was broken the springs were like cooming through the bed I then went to shower and saw that the shower curtain was broken so I had to make do with a broken shower. When I went over to the window I looked at the ac heater because it smelt and saw it had dirt or mold in it Once we left to go be with our family I mentioned the problems at the front but was meet with a ok. Latter on that night when we came back we tried to enter our room keys wouldn't work so we had to go to the front and get them re made. The next morning we woke up and went ti check out what they had fir breakfast that was non existence just fruit that stayed out from previous days. We came back that night and keys were not working again and we went to the desk and had to wait for other guest sounded like they was arguing about a room since they were sold out but the guy wouldn't leave I then said I just needed to get my key remade and they just asked what room and told them the room number u was worried since all I had to say was the room number not safe at all and was given a new key. We went back into the room and noticed a dirty floor and knew that it wasn't from us since we was barely in the room I then knew that they did not clean the rooms as they state they clean the best western standards it was awful. I was very upset about the entire stay and the price I paid for and what I received I coulda stayed at a sleezy motel fir the same quality I tried to contact about a refund and was told theu will not refund so watch out fir this dirty nasty place. I won't stay with Best western ever again
Samuel at front desk was awesome took care of my need with Best care. He was diligent and understanding this location must be very pleased to have an employee of his character. Thanks for your hard work and understanding much appreciated all the Best for the rest of new year
Woke up and turned on the lights to see cockroaches crawling around everywhere. Absolutely disgusting and handled poorly by management and Best Western corporate. Would not recommend and will never book at a Best Western again.
Do not pay this expensive hotel. you will not receive what they advertise. the picture were taken years ago, it does not look like the picture. the employees hate working at this hotel, they are not friendly at all.
Bed was reasonable but many other items not working or substandard. Examples: hair dryer not working. Water cooler in fitness center empty. Room did have fridge and microwave, which was nice. Basically ok for a night or two.
Roaches dirty odor never again will we stay at a Best Western. Just a horrible experience We had two rooms and yuck not only was the beds like sleeping on a slab of wood We should of had queen beds. More like an adult twin Nothing was working the hosted was to busy to check us out or listen to our concerns
Best Western Burlington NJ horrible experience to the point where I need it to be noted. I am the spouse of a flight attendent and travel often. This location, I was better off sleeping in my car. smells of smoke in the room, very hard bed, grimy dirty room, rude female at check in. No breakfast unless you consider a bag of lil bites your breakfast.
Not impressed with the managers handling of broken shower in room of fully booked hotel. She did not take tile to have a conversation and summarily dismissed issues with a $25 discount. Would NOT recommend this hotel until their customer service improves.
Room dirty and smelled. Elevator not visibly marked. Beds were not comfortable at all. Continental breakfast advertised and not provided. Guest had to order out. Walking down the hallways, room numbers were on the floor. No signs to state they were renovating.
First night the remote didn't work. Went to desk and was told the hotel is filled. Call your maintenance man. He quit. Did locate another room. It was a dog room. It looked clean. In the shower the next day I thought I had a cut on both feet. The floor of the tub was reddish brown from the dirty floor. Had to wear my sneakers all the time. The floors were like a ice skating ring. Wax on wax on wax. So slippery. After the third day I had to beg for towels and room was only cleaned one day. Trash cans only emptied once. Breakfast non existent. Old bananas. Juice machine didn't work. I told the girl at the desk I was going to can customer service. Her response was good luck. They don't care. It was a trip from hell. They still charge full price though. They should have paid me to stay there. I have never had a worse experience and I'm travel a lot. Worse hotel ever.
The room was perfect bed was great comfort. Decor was decent. The staff is very helpful. I expected a good breakfast but it wasn't available due to covid, also the pool isn't working. Apart for this th stay was decent
There were several blood stains on the carpet. Dirty bed sheets, I was not allowed an extra pillow. There was no breakfast, no morning coffee. The beds are very small. Not queen beds. The pool was closed.
Hotel is well equipped with amenities, beautifully decored clean and quiet Rooms. Location is Great has many good restaurants nearby.Desk staff were courteous and helpful and always had a smile on their faces!
My room was ground floor number 124. Upon pulling around back there was a large group of people just loitering around the back door that we had to unpack and go through as they smoked. The trash can was overflowing with what I could only smell as raw dead animals or meat. Once in the hallway it was filled with pot smoke and ask marks all over the walls around the vending machines. We went to the room and open the door only to be greeted by an ice cold room at 50° with the air conditioning running Non-Stop and a terrible odor in the room like unwashed human bodies. Upon turning on the TV the speaker was broken so that anytime the volume was up past five on a scale of 1 to 100 the speaker would rattle and buzz inside very loudly. The coffee pot had rancid water apparently from one of the past guests still in it that smelled like dirty gym socks. The microwave still had food particles all over inside of it. The drawers had mouse feces in them that I have pictures of and I didn't really feel safe unpacking my clothing into them for fear that I might have bed bugs or roaches when I came home. The bathroom was a shambled mess with paint chips and debris all around the walls especially behind the door the ceiling caving in in the shower. The shower curtain rail had been hung on by someone hard enough to rip it out of the walls and just pressed back into place. There was literal feces on the toilet seat and cigarette burn marks at the crotch area of the toilet seat and the back area of the toilet seat burned into the plastic. When I got ready to use the shower I was shocked to notice that the walls were covered with large thick dark black pubic hairs all over. All around the toilet and in the back of it it smelled like urine. The sinks overflow hole is packed solid with paper towels and the sink faucet leaks at its base. The floor was unswept and had mold in all the crevices around the walls and tub. I had also planned on using the tub in the room for a relaxing hot bath but the tub had a hole the size of my hand that had been patched up with nothing but caulking. The bedside tables and the lamps were in terrible Dusty fingerprinted condition along with food on the switches and at the base of the lamps which I also took pictures of. But then I noticed that the box spring area of the raised king size bed was coming apart and looked a little closer. All of the brown cover sheet on the box spring was nothing but human fluids drizzled down the sides of the bed on both
Nothing fancy just a clean room, comfortable beds, has a fitness centre and wifi. Breakfast was not included because of covid. Staff is nice also It was convenient to where my family lives, so I usually stay here.
The 2 staff members we met, at check in and check out were cold and unwelcoming. The check-in process was also very slow, even though we already booked the rooms and paid on the Best Western website. The website says they have a breakfast, which was one of the determining factors in selecting this hotel. They didn't (except for coffee, apples and oranges) and should communicate that before you book the room. No breakfast, COVID. Pool closed, COVID. Is COVID also the reason for the poor attitude with the staff? Our room had a shower stall instead of a tub/shower unit. No problem, we didn't need a tube, but should the shower curtain end about 3 inches above the bottom of the shower stall? It should if you want the water to run down it and coat the floor. Perhaps that's why they had large amounts of caulk outside the shower enclosure, to keep the water contained in the room. But it would be more sensible to just mount the curtain so that it hung properly. A disappointing experience, and we won't be returning to this location.
This hotel is very clean. Comfortable beds, Staff is friendly and if you are traveling with a dog you will be surprised how nice the dog rooms are compared to other highway hotels. Lovely stay, would come back soon.
I arrived to the hotel to enter to the overwhelming smell of marijuana in the front vestibule. As I approached the desk, the woman didn't seem very friendly. I then learned that breakfast was served in a bag (she wasn't sure what was in it) and there was NO POOL. I was VERY disappointed because these were two of the reasons I picked this place. I received the keys to my room and up we went. Room #1 - It was room 20? I cannot remember, maybe 204 or 206. Anyways, it was decent upon entering. I went to remove the comforter of the bed to change my toddler. Well, there was a nasty, dirty rag/towel in the sheets. I did not want to know what was on that rag. I called the desk and she told us to come back down. The woman was much more pleasant and apologetic and "upgraded" us to a suite. Room#2 - Room 241... Upon entering the smell of must was disgusting. We turned the air on and hoped for the best because we didn't want to complain again. The only thing upgraded about this room was a jacuzzi type tub, an old sofa, a fire place (not sure it even worked), and a smart TV. The bed was downsized from a KING to a DOUBLE. The refrigerator barely worked. We unpacked and left to grab dinner. When we came back from dinner, the rug was soaking wet from the A/C and the smell of must/mold was even worse. I called the front desk yet again. She had an attitude and said she would change the room. My boyfriend went downstairs to get the new keys and said she was less than friendly. And that a lot of people were complaining about things. Room#3 - Room 237... Back to a regular room. A/C was on... the carpet was wet but there was no smell. The refrigerator worked but was extremely loud. The fan in the bathroom was broken.. but not a big deal. And there were no dirty rags in the sheets. So we stayed. Night 1, we were woke up in the middle of the night by someone entering our room. THEY HAD A WORKING KEY!!! MY boyfriend shot out of bed as he heard them say they were going to push the door in (the top lock was on). He told them that people were in there and they had some words and left. Later on, early in the morning maybe about 3am, we were awoken again by the rattling of the door. The next morning I told the woman at the desk. She was apologetic and assured us no one would come in our room. We left for a bit. About an hour later my boyfriend went back up to put my son's milk in the fridge before we went to lunch. HE WAS LOCKED OUT!!! He had to go get new keys. They not only locked everyone else from coming into our room, but they locked us out too! NIGHT 2- Fast forward... time to go to sleep. The people in the room next to us 239 must've been up all night talking, laughing, smoking, coughing... because we heard EVERY WORD through the wall. On the other side 235, the guy was watching TV so loudly that we heard every word. Across the hall we heard things that we did not want to hear through the door. It was complete sensory overload. The walls are WAY TOO THIN!!!!! We completed our stay in this room. And could not wait to get out. We took my son to Sesame Place which is why we were there. I chose this hotel because it was decently priced with breakfast and a pool. NONE OF THE ABOVE were true. I would pay much more money to never stay there again.
I really loved this place and would recommend you to come. Great front desk staff they were really helpful. They always went above and beyond to made sure my stay was a great one. Clean spacious rooms. I will definitely stay here whenever I'm in the area.
Thus was my first time staying at a Best Western Hotel and it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was very professional and kind. The establishment it self was conveniently located near stores and places to eat. I have traveled much and stayed in many different hotels. However,,, this Best Western Burlington Inn is positively one of the best. Thank U BW.
Best western! Staff has been very polite and Accommodating. Always treated well at Best Westerns. I have grown to know what to expect as far as service and convenience is concerned. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean...
This was my first stay at best western NJ. I had to stay here cause they allowed pets, rooms weren't that great it needs renovation. Apart from them location is convenient. Staff is helpful. Frankly I only stayed here because of my dog.
It is located right off Exit 5 of Jersey Turnpike. There is a Applebee's in same parking lot making it convenient so as not to travel to get sometime to eat. Have stayed here several times and will mostly likely return.
Hotel looks good inside and out. Room was quite. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Location is great as many shopping and eating out places are very close by. It is one of the best quality hotel at such a reasonable price
Bathroom had mold and mildew around the tub and very dark. Room had very old pillows and bed covering. Room smelled old needed a deep cleaning . All in all the rooms need to be remodeled. I love Best Western Hotels but with this one very disappointed with my stay.
Clean, comfortable, welcoming.Thank you for a nice stay. Staff was very friendly. Location was good...easy access to restaurants and highway. Would stay in this hotel to stay at again when in the area.
Good location, nice pool, clean room with comfortable bed. Staff was always very nice, professional but friendly. lots of services in area. They offer free parking, and has many restaurants at walking distance.
It was a very nice check in and we had a experience. Our room was Spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I had slept in for our whole vacation so I was grateful I got a good nights sleep.
This was our fourth stay at this hotel in recent months. Although our last experiences was better, and the prices were higher this time, I would still recommend staying here. The front desk staff is Very helpful, and the rooms are fine. Beds are comfortable, and we had no real problems
This hotel was the best value for the cost. Location is close to the highway. The room was clean, bathroom was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was personable and always visible. A basic no frills stay.
The room was perfect spacious and a great comfort. Decor was on point. Great location. Quick check in and check out. The staff was lovely they went out of their way to make my stay perfect!! Loved to visit this place....
The location was great. Hassle free check-in and check-out. The room was spacious and clean, staff was very kind and helpful. Good value for money!Had an amazing time, Would definitely stay here again.
The room that we were in, was beautiful. We loved the bed and the large living room space. Free WiFi, Convenient parking and ease of check-in/check-out is very nice. The staff in the hotel were too nice and helpful.
It was an amazing place. Location is convenient as it is close to the highway. Check in and check out was smooth very helpful staff. Loved this hotel and looking forward to visiting again with family!!
Hotel is well equipped with amenities. Location is Great close to the highway. Desk staff were courteous and helpful and always had a smile on their faces!! Had a great stay waiting to be back soon!!!
The room was very clean and beautiful. And even though we had a room on the highway side and across from the elevator, we had a very quiet and peaceful stay. This is a go-to location all the way. We had a great night and a great stay!
The room was spacious clean and modern our stay just got better from there. Great Staff each time we come back. very personable, helpful, acquainted with hotel processes. We had a great night and a great stay! Good value for money!
It was a great place, very well maintained, staff was very friendly, Breakfast was awesome. Clean room with beautiful interiors. Beautiful place would definitely stay here again, highly recommend. Experience it yourself.
The room was in good order, bathroom was great and shower was strong. Air unit was cold and spot on. Appliances worked well and bed was alright. Check in was quick easy as was check out. Definitely recommend, although price can be tricky. Better to be rewards member and save ten percent off. Otherwise, next to Applebees and Cracker Barrel restaurants, the location is good and there's plenty of stores and restaurants up the road.
This is the most disgusting best western ever. WHen I arrived, all sorts of strange, depressed-looking people were hanging about in the lobby.looking strung out and confused. turns out these were the employees, My room smelled of smoke, there was sticky stuff on the furniture, the carpets were stained....the hallways had peeling paint and plaster, poor neglected dogs barking from their rooms,.....is this a welfare hotel now? I was worried about leaving my car in the back parking lot, because all shorts or weird men were parked in corners, their cars full of crap. never again!
A reasonable two-star hotel for an emergency situation. The three stars are given because this hotel is the only pet-friendly hotel in the area and has a very reasonable pet-fee for $15/night. Also because the service desk concierge is excellent. The pet fee is cheapest I've encountered so far in my life. The room has a microwave which was nice. I forgot my toothbrush and they provided that. Room amenity is standard (good). Bathtub was slippery. Room chairs have some weird stains. People were chatting either outside or in the hallway so loud around 11PM at the hallway by our room during our one night stay. Hallway also smelled strongly like hemp. Strict COVID restrictions in common area (masks etc) which was great. Hope they apply the same cleaning standards for the guest rooms especially during COVID? Great option for emergency situation.
Usually I don't have any issue with budget motel accommodations, and I have stayed at many other BWs. I don't think I've ever cut my stay short due to quality, but I checked out 2 nights early and went to the hotel next door since I was so dissatisfied here. The bathroom doorknob was broken and door did not close/latch (see attached picture) - hard to understand how this was considered acceptable for occupancy. The rug had a tackiness/stickiness to it that was unpleasant to walk on. Bed seemed old and was uncomfortable. The first night, I woke up in the middle of the night and thought I smelled marijuana in my room but wasn't sure. The second day I was there, the lobby, stairwell and hallway absolutely reeked of marijuana. Walls were paper thin, so I could hear every bit of an extremely graphic conversation going on in the next room, well after midnight, keeping me awake. Poor experience overall, and there's several other big affordable chain hotels nearby. I won't go back to this one.
To start, people were smoking in the hallway of a smoke free hotel. The refrigerator motor was very loud. The bathroom floor was dirty, hair in the sink and the hair dryer did not work. The carpet was frayed and chunks of drywall were missing
The staff was very friendly. The room was up to date and very clean. Easy access right of the highway. I always stay here when i visit my family who lives in the area. There's also places to eat on the front and back of the property.
I was driving home from my family in NC with my two dogs. Looking for an easy but not fancy stop off of 95. Check in was slow which matters when you have dogs in the car. But staff was very friendly and helpful. Room stinks of smoke despite hotel being non smoking. Top of headboards covered in dust. Which I wouldn't care but it's Covid. I have wipes and I am fine. And then my dogs have been in room five minutes and turned up two roach traps. So won't be sleeping tonight
Wanted to get away for 2 nights with all of this pandemic happening. We stayed in room 103 for 2 nights. And every morning at 8 am we were woken up by the hotels' cleaning staff. They were continuously slamming doors, yelling to each other down the hallway and having no respect for the guests sleeping. I don't think I will be staying here again in the near future.
Very well located, just out of NJ Turnpike. Easy to check-in and out. Two restaurants close by (ie Applebee's and Cracker Barrel). Excellent value for your money. Would definitely recommend staying at this location.
Housekeeping needs tranining. Room below standard cleanliness. We stayed in this facility in the past and were satisfied. Obviously something changed. wet pet urine on bed and chair along with leftover pet food. Rooms closest to back door are the worst. We know because of room change.
The rooms were nice, bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. Right off the highway and great for an overnight stop. The only negative was how thin the wall was. I was woken up at 5:45 AM to my hotel room neighbor on his phone. I could hear the whole conversation, the person on the other end (speaker phone I assume) and putting two pillows over my ears didn't help. It was the worlds longest conversation, too. I woke up too exhausted for my road trip and it made for a tough nine hour drive.
Far from the best Best Western we've stayed in. Ok if you're on the Jersey Turnpike and want a quick in and out. Check out other properties first though. And perhaps to insure correct pricing, book online.
At first, the customer service man was nice. But, the lady and the manager Lori were rude. They accused me left the DO NOT DiSTURB sign on my door handle when there was no sign given in my room from day one. After staying there one night, I went to work early next morning and came back around 10 PM, noticed my room was the same condition as it was after I went to work; no room service and there was no DO NOT DiSTURB sign on the door or inside the room. I went back to the front desk and reported to the customer service lady and she refused to offer any solution. She said no room service, manager, or vacant room were available, I have to live as it. After spent about an hour arguing, she then checked the computer and stated that the room was not serviced due to the DO NOT DiSTURB sign hang on the door. I asked who put the sign and where was the sign when the sign was not given and I didn't bother to ask for the sign on my first night there? But she was not able to answer my questions. She then offer me a vacant room across from my room. I was so tired went back to my room, moved my luggage and leave my food in the frig because the frig in the new room was not working, then went to bed. Next morning, I got up early, checked out, and spoke with the manager Lori. She said that she saw the DO NOT DiSTURB sign hang on my room. I asked where was the sign and who did it? I even ask she review the security camera and let me know. She said it won't happen right the way. I the reported the incident to BestWestern corporate customer relations. Of course, Lori accused me hanging the DO NOT DiSTURB sign and refused to provide proof from the security camera. Both of these ladies are the worst hotel customer services and should be reviewed my the hotel owner. It was my first and will be my last staying at this hotel.
This hotel takes care of you and helps you with any needs you might have. There's a fridge, microwave, fitness center, WiFi, full breakfast, and two restaurants within a minute's walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel. And it's literally across the street from the entrance to the New Jersey Turnpike.
Top notch all the way down the line....Five stars no doubts just book it! And don't rush out of there 'cause the nice lady fixing the breakfast will show you how to make the best waffle you'll ever eat!
Everything was excellent Overall I was greatly satisfied everything was great and the service customer service was excellent, That's the only hotel I will ever use and I will always recommend someone family friends and business people I know there for sure
This hotel is in a very good location near the New Jersey Turnpike. The rooms are very clean and quiet. There are two restaurants within walking distance once we checked in to the hotel. Nearby are many stores and more restaurants.
We usually stay at a Hampton Inn (which by the way is right there also), but for some reason (price?) this time we chose the Best Western. At first all seemed well: the guy at the front desk was professional, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was only when we tried to sleep that we discovered the problem: after hearing the slightly muffled sounds of the TV in the next room (which happens when the walls are thin), we were startled to hear a woman's voice very clearly. We could hear what she was saying. We figured out that her voice was coming in through a crack between the wall and ceiling above our bed (the same crack which was letting a light through from the next room). Let's just say that there was zero sound-proofing in our room and her talking kept us up. (We don't even blame her. She was speaking in a normal inside voice.) The next morning when it was time to shower, I discovered that there is no place to hang a towel anywhere near the tub. I had to step out dripping wet to be able to reach a the towels over the toilet. (Maybe it's just me, but I like to towel off before stepping out.) They were rather thin and rough towels, also. Aside from the sleep and showering experience, everything was fine. But since a good sleep and a good shower are high on the priority list, we won't be staying here again. We'll try the Hampton Inn instead.
I've been in the Burlington area for work for the last three weeks. I have a per diem for work, and this fits the budget. What's more impressive is the level of service offered at this hotel. I've been to the front desk three times (checking in) Roger handles that every week. This week (my 3rd appearance) Roger had my key ready and knew exactly who I was and how to spell my last name (it's not a common last name). I was super impressed. I took a moment to tell him how awesome it was that he was considerate enough to remember my name, and how big of a feat that is. I worked restaurant management (in a hands on concept) and it takes me about 2 visits for me to remember a face and 3 or 4 to remember a name!!! I was was super impressed. On top of the excellent service, the cleanliness is usually pretty great. I feel like the 2nd floor as been remodeled recently, the first floor will need some bathroom upgrades soon, but nothing that's screams disgusting or anything like that. Super thankful to have this hotel in the area!
The Best Western was clean, easily accessible from the NJ Turnpike. Great dining options within walking distance. Staff is welcoming and attentive. EVERYONE greets you..especially Roger when you check in
I showed up at the Best Western Burlington Inn without a reservation, hoping they had a room. I had been on the road almost 10 hours and had totally struck out looking for too.s elsewhere. Yay! They had one left. The guy at the front desk (wish I could remember his name) was wonderful. He wasn't feeling well, but he treated me with the utmost friendliness and helpfulness. Be quickly found me a room at a great price and checked me in very quickly. I was so grateful. I am a Best Western fan.
8 day stay at a Best Western was a challenge. There were large dogs even though policy is for small dogs. I thought $30 a night extra for two small dogs was excessive. My dogs were at risk and were attacked when walking them outside. The halls wreaked of pot! Very excessive noise from other guests. Food thrown on the sidewalk from the breakfast room.
Some of the staff were quite pleasant, friendly and helpful. However, the manager is not. When a large blood stain was found on the sheet, I was willing to overlook this problem and just get new sheets for the bed. But when my grandchildren were getting bitten by something in the room and the manager shrugged it off and insinuated the problem came from me, I was not very happy. I demanded nothing of her other then to just let her know there was an issue in this room.
Very clean and up to date conveniently located right off I-95. Pulled in about 11pm and staff was very courteous and helpful, something you don't normally expect in New Jersey. Free breakfast. Room and outer areas very clean and up to date.
Nothing fancy just a clean room, comfortable beds, and free breakfast and wifi. My youngest son was not with me this trip so did not have the opportunity to use the indoor pool. It was convenient to where my family lives, so I usually stay here.
This is the place we always stop for the night, on our way home to Plattssburgh, NY from the southern states. The people are friendly, the hotel is clean and nice and it is convienent with restaurants so close! It is also close to the Jersey Turnpike!
When I went in rooms were disgusting I smell like cigarettes I spoke to the one that was in charge in the front and he gave me a bottle of deodorize was very disappointed on the whole experience never goin back.
We brought a pet and the pet fee was 15 dollars. We thought we had a free night but once again we didn't jump through the magical whoops you need to jump through to get the free night so ended up paying full price for it which wasn't expected. Been staying at best westerns for at least two years for work and I like their services.
The hotel was very clean even though it is an older facility. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the full breakfast was a very nice bonus. Overall would recommend this as a place to stay.
Great hotel, perfect location, excellent management, helpful staff, perfect housekeeping. Everything you need and pet friendly. This is definitely the place to stay when you are in this area. Thanks General Manager Lori, great job!
I'm a frequent, frugal traveler on a budget typically looking for lodging bargain, always accompanied by Mike, now a gentle old soul of a Chocolate Lab. Recently having been treated terribly by the cheaper chains -- Super 8 and Motel 6 come immediately to mind -- I've been experimenting with paying a bit more in the hopes of having a more peaceful stay. This property met those conditions -- barely -- given this was a free stay, part of my activity with Best Western's guest rewards program. Because this was listed as a pet friendly property -- the Waterbury, VT Best Western, where I was headed the following day, was not -- I chose this place. And so since I told them about Mike, naturally they had to charge me $10 for him. Yes, the charge could've been worse -- but I always resent pet fees. Given the "pet-friendly rooms" had bare plastic floors right next to a very noisy exit door -- and given the sprawling layout of the property -- the next time I would sneak Mike in. Other than that, the property is large, conveniently located right off I-89, in a neighborhood of several motel chains. The room was quite comfortable bit small and a bit noisy; having the fridge and microwave was a nice to have not always offered in motel rooms these days. Given this was billed as a business conference center, the lack of a iron / ironing board was noticeable (was it in the tiny closet? Didn't look there). The breakfast was the usual fare; I had the dry scrambled eggs and greasy sausage with over-sweet machine-mixed cranberry juice. Surely these motel chains could do better. One other issue that came up: I almost didn't get my free night; the evening desk clerk lost it somehow when he went in to add it to property's booking system ... that led to 20 minutes of confusion and dallying (the reservationist took the voucher number but it was not in the reservation system when I checked in). The whole thing left me questioning the hiring / training of guest staff. So, four stars, but just barely. If you're going to be staying in this area, it would be well your worth to shop around.
The hotel was very easy to find, it was directly off the New Jersey Turnpike. The familiar box stores were near-by, as well as familiar restaurant chains and local retailers too! The indoor pool was awesome, very clean and at the perfect temperature.
Nice, inexpensive hotel just off the Jersey Turnpike. Very clean rooms. Exceptionally nice staff. Free breakfast was fine--standard complimentary offerings. Trip Advisor requires at least 200 characters in order to submit a review, so added this sentence.
This hotel is located in a good location for a first stop on my road trip between New England and Florida. When I find a hotel that I like, I return to it! This is the case here! The front desk staff is very nice! Roger wasn't working this time but a nice woman was! The rooms are good, the bed is comfortable, it's quiet, and the breakfast is good. It sets me up for traveling through Baltimore and DC the next day, one of the more difficult driving days, but without the super high prices as I get closer to DC. I plan to continue staying here!
Nice hotel at a great location right off of the NJ Turnpike. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was good although the food was warm not hot. Applebees and Cracker Barrel are on site so you can walk to both. Pool is beautiful. Very friendly staff.
Room had mold, the walls are very.thin can hear other people conversation and having sex, the decore is outdated , only ice machine on 1st floor, the wifi works fine, fridge kept drinks cold ,shower got really hot
Booked this hotel for a quick trip to Mt. Holly. This is not a five star hotel (as in glamorous!) l but it sure rates 5 stars from me. The manager at the desk was extremely helpful. My original room was on the first floor. I am a super light sleeper and i knew this wouldn't work. Manager immediately moved me and asked me where i would be better. Very pleasant and clearly interested in making sure his guests were satisfied with accommodations. There is an Applebee's right across the parking lot which makes for convenient dining. Location is near turnpike and very easy to get to. Best of all, the bed was super comfy! I would not hesitate to return to this Inn if ever back in Mt. Holly.
Stayed over the Christmas holiday to visit with family in the area. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was always special with coffee, tea and hot chocolate available 24/7. Check in was very easy and a very accommodating staff. Staff from Desk clerk to housekeeping staff.
My husband and I needed a room to stay and we looked at the hotels in the area and decided to look at the Best Western. We are so glad we did the room was very clean and was a nice size. They have an indoor pool that was just great to relax in. Lori the manager along with all of the employees at the Best Western were just fantastic. Always willing to please and help. The breakfast was very good also especially the cranberry juice they had there. When we need to stay in the Burlington area we will stay at the Best Western. Thank you to the staff at the Best Western and never stop doing what you are doing.
The hotel was nice... Breakfast was good, my husband looked for grits, but that was the only bad thing lol... Our room and bathroom was clean. For me, it was an overall awesome experience... Will definitely be staying there when I come back!!!
I stayed for a couple of days at this hotel on a business trip. Everything was great. It's even within walking distance of an Applebee's restaurant, and it is also within range of local Pizza delivery chains such as Domino's and Papa John's.
Stopped there after a long drive. Price was excellent. Bed comfortable. Beds were nice and comfortable. Only hoops was mildue on the shower wall. Breakfast was typical but free. I would go there again without hesitation.
from start to finish....clean, friendly, helpful. unexpected stopover. car trouble. had to stay the night. exactly what we needed. would stay here again ....in a minute! so comfortable and clean. we were very pleasantly surprised!
The staff at this hotel always make you feel like your family coming for a visit. Plus the coffee at this hotel is awesome!!!!! Plus you cant beat the location right off the turnpike. I will be back again and again!
I picked BEST WESTERN because of the great reviews. The rooms are CLEAN which was the deciding factor for my wife and I to stay along with the price. We were not disappointed. Great service and the breakfast was wonderful as well.
I was not happy at all with how my group of children were treated. I was told that my 7 year old would have to eat her birthday cake outside in the parking lot as cake was not allowed in the building!!!!
The Burlington Inn is a convenient place to stay for a night when driving the I-95 corridor from the southeast to New England. Being close to a variety of good restaurants within 15 minutes is a plus.
My experience was GREAT the man that chrcked me in was amazing. I will return for sure. I was Having issues with a tire while traveling to NH. And the man gave me excellent direction to the nearest tire place. I can never thank him enough. I have forgotten his name but it was August 26 2018 9 pm.
Best Western is one of the better hotels you can stay in anywhere in the US and I have been a lot of places because of my job. You can't beat the price and they have the cleanest and best-kept hotels.
Nice, quiet, and friendly staff. Breakfast was great. We checked in unannounced and clerk took care of us right away. Made us feel really welcome from the get go. Would definitely visit this location again.
First time at a best western and I would stay again. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. I felt comfortable having my infant and 8 yr old here. The pool was a plus!! The small amenities like tea and eater cooler was also very nice.
1st visit to Best Western and by far the most memorable! Everyone seemed to be in the best of spirits and willing to help. I asked a staff member for locations of nearby restaurants and she came back with a list. Can't get better the that.
We stayed here for 10 days to kick of our East Coast trip. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff was amazing! They were all very friendly. The food was decent as far as free breakfast goes although I wish they had more bacon! We would definitely stay here again! The pool was indoors and the kids enjoyed it.
Last yeàr we stayed here and felt safe as this is all indoors. We were passing through again and wheeled in. Our room was very lovely. Two queen beds, flat screen TV, the works. On Friday morning I went to shower and there was no hot water. I called down front to let the desk clerk know and she informed me the hot water heater had gone out and they were replacing it. She also said, the clerk at check in was to inform the night guests the water would be off, well we were one guest they didn't tell. I suppose it all worked out, as early morning on Friday I was very sick with a migraine and couldn't travel anyway. The front desk staff are all super nice people. And yes, I would stay here again.
We found the location with only a slight missed turn. Room was comfortable. Staff were helpful. Pool was fabulous. Place was busy, but quiet. Convenient to eateries/shopping. Breakfast offerings were great. Dedicated attendant kept the food fresh/hot and the area tidy.
While a great location, and well maintained site, it falls well short of acceptable service and accommodations for anyone who is mobility limited . . Breakfast dining area is not wheel chair accessible; bathrooms do not have walkin/rollin showers (only tubs). If you are really are in need of these type of amenities, look elsewhere
great we will be staying at best western for now on.primaraly in south portland maine. the merry manoir.we really like the heated pool and the rooms are very nice.the resturant is very nice as well.we will be staying in the south portland best western merry manior sometime in june 2018 and know it will be a wonderful experience'
Very nice hotel. We got there very late. Amtrak was very late. Check in was very quick. Hotel was clean and quiet. Very convenient. The breakfast was great, they had fresh fruit, melons and citrus. Only negative was the cable - no HGTV, TLC, Food network or local channels.
We try to stay at Best Western whenever possible. This hotel has great amenities, the rooms are very nice, with clean comfortable beds. The breakfast was great and the service at this hotel was very good. Restaurants are close by; some within walking distance.
We had a comfortable and pleasant experience at this Best Western. Not luxurious, and some things look a bit jaded and our iron didn´t work, but the personnel was very pleasant and fast to comply with any request. We had a fast check-in and check-out, and breakfast was very good. A nice place to stay and not pay a huge bill.
This hotel is very clean. Staff is friendly and if you are traveling with a dog you will be surprised how nice the dog rooms are compared to other highway hotels. Nice breakfast set up by the gas fire.
Staff very friendly helpful ,had indoor pool but did not use as got in late, Good breakfast in large breakfast room Room had fridge microwave and coffee maker Easy to find Applebees restaurant next door HEAT/AC WAS a little NOISY .
we went to an eagles game and stayed here. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable, The staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was nice hot foods looked and tasted good, nice selection of foods bagels, danish breads and fresh fruits We will be back soon Thank you for a nice time+
Good motel located off Exit 5 NJT. Clean, safe and friendly staff. Breakfast included. Good restaurants close by. Quiet, safe location. Good stop for seniors traveling north. Have stayed there before and will stay again next time coming through.
This hotel is of a good quality, the staff are genuinely friendly and professional and you get what you pay for. We have stayed in many hotels in this price range and to date, Best Western have provided the best satisfaction, in terms of both comfort and value for money, of all of them.
Lisa was rude, did not address the broken refrigerator. Would definitely look elsewhere for the price point of this hotel. Water pressure poor. No ice machine on second floor, need to walk to first floor to get ice. Rude manager who said, show me the receipt when I said food spoiled, I provided it, then, copied it. Subsequently asaid, just wait here while I get mantenance to look at it when I was leaving. Really? Make me wait for 20 minutes when I am leaving? Advised her that she will likely lose more money by this rating then refunding the $25 I asked for because of the spoiled food, so here it is, as promised.
Not a bad weekend getaway. This hotel was good. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was delicious. The lobby was a little cramped, but if you can beat the rush of all the guest you can find a seat.
the sheets were amazing and so comfortable I felt very relaxed and will definitely be returning.Breakfast do need a little improvement but overly good. Receptionist was very nice, and friendly and knowledgeable..
We stayed for 3 nights. The Front Desk people were very friendly but professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and the breakfast foods offered were very good. The location was excellent. It was close to the Turnpike and to 295. Two restaurants, Applebees and Cracker Barrell were in walking distance.
My family and I have stayed at this Best Western several times when visiting Sesame Place and other places in the area. The beds are comfortable and the location is great. There's lots of good options for breakfast, both hot and cold food items, all which are fresh and tasty. The staff is very accommodating and you are greeted with a smile! The indoor pool is a plus for our young daughter.
Our fastpitch softball team stayed here for our weekend tournament. I was pleased with everything and everyone at the hotel. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in this area of NJ and this one was excellent!
I had the pleasure of staying here after spending a day at the Philadelphia Zoo with my family. The staff is helpful and courteous and the rooms are neat and clean. They have a heated indoor pool for relaxation and two restaurants on the hotel grounds (Applebee's and Cracker Barrel). They also have 24 hour coffee, tea, and hot chocolate service as well as a fully stocked free breakfast in the morning. You get all this for a VERY good price. If you're in the Philly, PA area, this is a great place to spend the night with your family.
Good place to stay super fast internet and nice staff. Great breakfast cool pool and worth the money for sure. Would recommend if your passing thru the area. Would stay here if we get back in the area.
The refridgerator buzzed and clicked, the A/C unit in the hall near my room hummed all night, and the people next door were noisy in the wee hours. Sound insulation is necessary for a hotel room. Also the bed was too firm for my old bones.
Clean, comfortable, welcoming.Thank you for a nice stay. Staff was very friendly. Location was good...easy access to restaurants and highway. Would select this hotel to stay at again when in the area.
The staff is superb the facility is in need of an upgrade. The lighting in the bathroom could stand to be improved. The temperature control unit needed to be cleaned and it was too loud. I had to swat a few gnats, which I wasn't too pleased with.
The Best Western Burlington Inn is a good value, with comfortable and clean rooms, and a good breakfast selection. It is very convenient to the NJ Turnpike and I-295, has plenty of restaurants nearby.
Calling for a reservation was simple and friendly. The price was the same on the phone and online. :-). The staff was all absolutely lovely and friendly. Breakfast was very decent with a variety of cereal, fresh fruit, pre-made but tasty eggs, and a nice variety of tea. Tea and coffee available 24/7! Pool area was clean and in good condition. would stay here again without hesitation.
stopped in for one night during a long drive. very very nice. excellent staff, nice room, good breakfast. very clean and inviting. two restaurants in same parking lot so you don't have to drive further. would definitely stay again if in the area.
I recently stayed at this hotel after visiting Six Flags which is just over a half hour away. I chose this hotel, as it was on the way to AC, which I went to the following day. Check in was quick and easy and the older gentlemen was friendly and asked about why I was in the area. I loved the coffee/tea station, available 24 hours, and enjoyed Tazo tea while using the whirlpool tub in my room. I had room 241, a whirlpool room (in bathroom) with a fireplace. I didn't like that it was very far down the hallway, but the room itself was clean, and comfortable. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the fireplace but it was hot outside anyway. The AC worked okay but could have gotten colder. The whirlpool tub in the bathroom was pretty large and worked well. The jets could have been stronger though. I didn't care for the pedestal sink, and small shelf above, as more room is needed for my personal care items. The bed was comfortable and clean! I enjoyed breakfast, but the dining area became a bit crowded, and doesn't seem handicap friendly due to steps to go down into the breakfast area. The food items were your standard hotel breakfast, with eggs, sausage, pastries, etc. Overall, the hotel was a good value, there are restaurants in the parking lot nearby, the area was quiet, and I would stay again if in the area! The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable.
My two small kids (6 and 4) and I arrived at this hotel around 11pm one night last week, halfway home on our road trip from Virginia to Massachusetts. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone, calling around to find a hotel with available rooms, was very pleasant. I read decent reviews, and we had gotten the runaround from another place, so we went for it even though it was a Best Western. We were at a rest stop 30 minutes away when I called and I told him we would be there soon and hung up. When we arrived, my little one walked in wailing, and laid himself down on the floor. I had to wake him up to bring him in from the car, so he was miserable. The gentleman was so kind to us, asked how I was doing, and he gave a couple of cookies to the kids, which brightened things just enough for me to get them to our room and tucked in without too much hassle. The room was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, a great assortment, and dairy free options too, as my 6 year old has a dairy allergy and we never find this anywhere! I was very surprised! The pool looked very nice, we checked it out but didn't swim as we headed out after breakfast. I noticed there was an Applebee's right in the parking lot also, which was very convenient, and if we had arrived earlier, would have been a good stop for dinner. Most importantly, as a single mom on the road with two little kids, I appreciated the kindness of the man at the counter so much. Sometimes a little kindness from someone makes all the difference. I never leave reviews, but I was compelled to leave this one because of that. If we ever find ourselves in central NJ again, we will definitely stay here again!
very friendly staff. rooms were clean. shopping and plenty of different restaurants to eat at. the gentleman at the counter when I checked in was very helpful and nice. would reccommend to stay there. I will definitely come back>
Roger at the front desk, as well as the other staff, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and take care of our needs. The hotel was very clean, and had nice amenities for a quick stop-over (right off the NJ Tpke).
Who would have known that this last minute stay-over would have resulted in finding a hidden he of a hotel? The biggest treat was the most comfortable bed you could imagine!!! The pillows were high quality and the brand of soaps and lotions were pleasing.
Rooms dirty and smelly. Arguments in the corridor between other guests frightening for my family with unhelpful and uncaring manager after reporting this. Broken gym equipment and pool area closed during most of our stay
The staff was very nice and loved the value. The price included breakfast which stayed open until 10a, great - and a microwave and refrigerator in the room - wonderful! We enjoyed how close the hotel was to the NJ Turnpike and really good restaurants, Applebees and Cracker Barrel - nice stay and we were pleasantly surprised. We were in town for a family reunion, so not sure if I'll come back, but if I did I would definitely stay here
good hotel . front desk staff not great ,this a great location but the staff is mediocre ..when ask about rewards point the front desk guy didn't know much information or was denied my points .the guy didn't seen to willing to help.this shift staff are not to professional.
This was a clean nice pet friendly hotel. It seemed like pets were kept to one section of the hotel with an easy access door for walks. Rates were reasonable and rooms clean. Typical breakfast was offered, waffles, Danish, eggs, sausage, juice and coffee included in rate. Will stay again when we make trip in December. Easy on and off Jersey Tpk.
The building is a little old but well maintained. and very clean. the Desk clerk welcomed us and was very friendly. When we arrived on the 2nd floor the cleaning lady saw we were looking for our room witbout us aski ng she asked our room number and escorted us to it. When we checked out the same desk clerk was on duty and again exibited care and appreciation for our staying there. The customer sevice is outstanding. We are i n the area alot and used to frequently stay at the Days inn in Bordentown, but stopped staying there due to poor customer service. We will be staying here again for sure.
Upon arriving I felt this hotel was in a great area. In the same parking lot there is an Applebees and right behind it there was a Cracker Barrel. Inside the hotel, the lobby was very clean and had a home feeling. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make you sure you had everything you needed. They even gave my kids a pack of chocolate chip cookies. They serve a full breakfast such as eggs, sausage, bagels ect you cant go wrong. Breakfast was served from 6-10 which gave those a chance who woke up late to get some food. They never ran out. We stayed in room 213 which was right up the stairs. The room was very clean, cool and spacious which was nice. The pillows were nice and fluffy. The bed was very comfy and soft. You can tell they take their time cleaning and caring for the room. If my kids and I go to New Jersey again this will be the hotel we stay at. We live in N.C. GREAT SERVICE by far!
I was hesitant to stay at a Best Western, especially since the price was so competitive when compared to nearby hotels. I come to Burlington almost monthly and had tried all of the other hotels. I finally booked with BW to save money. I am pleasantly surprised by my stay here and will definitely book here from now on. I'm a picky traveler and have NOT been paid or compensated for this review. Here's the low down: bed was comfortable, room is clean, bathroom is clean. Towels are nice and thick...surprised by the quality of the towels. My room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The fridge was as nice addition to my stay and helped to save my leftovers. Most importantly, my stay was exceptionally quiet! I slept well. Temperature control in my room was a bit off and difficult to control. I found for some reason closing the curtains helped the consistency of the a/c. Room Coffee----I'm a coffee snob....was GOOD! They even have real half and half in the main lobby. Front desk staff were nice and accommodating. They let me in my room before check in time. I'm relieved to have finally found a hotel in this area that is affordable, clean and well maintained.
service was great! breakfast delicious, staff very caring. would definitely come back at each chance that i have. would strongly recommend to friends! Also it is located nearby restaurants! good overall
Motel located right off Exit 5 of Jersey Turnpike. There is a Applebee's in same parking lot making it convenient so as not to travel to get sometime to eat. Have stayed here several times and will mostly likely return. Room was clean and motel lobby clean also.
My stay at this hotel was wonderful! It is super clean and well maintained. The room was very comfortable. The entire staff (from housekeeping to the front desk) is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit! My stay was a fabulous experience!!
We found this hotel on the way home from a long drive from Florida. We just couldn't drive any longer. We needed two rooms and they were able to give us rooms next to each other. Clean, comfortable, good price. Great place to stay for a visit to Bush Gardens. We were surprised to find that the free breakfast was actually a full breakfast, not just a stale danish like they give in so many places. There were fresh scrambled eggs one morning, omlettes the next. You could also make your own waffle, have oatmeal, a hard boiled egg, pastry or cold cereal. That was a great feature!
Stopped here for a quick overnight stay as we drove through the state and were pleasantly surprised at the overall comfort and level of care offered by the staff. Breakfast was wonderful and fully stocked. Coffee was nice and strong (Big plus!!!). Our breakfast goddess was the sweetest lady ever. Took care of us and kept the place spotless. I usually don't sleep well at hotels due to disc problems but I knocked out and slept like a baby. Good value. Highly recommend!
Hotel looks good inside and out. Room was very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Internet was easy to log into and had sufficient speed. I would highly recommend this hotel as this has the appearance of a higher end hotel such as a Westin but for a more affordable price.
I needed an affordable and reputable place to stay outside of Philidelphia before I pick up a friend. The check in was great, friendly and swift. They got me on the first floor as I have recently had a hip replacement. And they gave me a gift bag. Very nice room, nice breakfast and seating area. Great fast check out w free news paper.
I had a wonderful time during my stay. Nice people and nice rooms. It is also affordable for the quality and number of restaurants near by. One right in the parking lot you can walk to. I stay there when ever I need to be in the area.
This is a top quality hotel which is very well maintained in all aspects. The breakfast is delicious; the indoor pool is clean and refreshing and the rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. We will definitely return to this hotel.
This is a very clean hotel with a great staff and a nice breakfast. It is convenient, plenty of free parking and a great value. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is halfway between my work locations, have great size pool. Great locations to all restaurants and major highways. Nice peaceful locations. About 45 mins to tons river and LBI. Staff very friendly
Average, in need of some updates like carpeting. Average breakfast. Cleaner needs to pay more attention. Refrigerator was unplugged and warm. It did finally get cold. Good location easy access from highway.
Room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the heat/ac was easily adjustable. Because we have a blind and deaf older dog they gave us a room near the back door on the first floor. The breakfast was superb with many choices.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel it was very clean and quiet. It was very close to an Applebee's and a Cracker Barrel. We would use this hotel again and recommend it to anyone traveling in this area.
Staff was great - room was very good. Overall a wonderful experience !! I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the So. Jersey area for business or pleasure. There's an Applebees right across the parking lot from the hotel as well.
Our first trip to New Jersey. The hotel was easy to find and the parking was good. The check-in took seconds and the clerk was very helpful. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. Slept very well. We will be back on our next visti to NJ
Started out as room wasn't ready at check-in, I requested a room close to the elevator as my mom is 88 years old, I was told I would have to wait and hour, even though I made this request when I made the reservation, but ok no problem. Get to the room and even though I also requested an accessible shower that didn't happen. Again, ok we'll make do only staying overnight. We leave to join pre-wedding festivities and return to the room late planning on enjoying snacks and watching a little TV; TV doesn't work!! Wake up early to prepare for wedding, mom has to use the sink( remember no accessible shower) and the water will not go down. Upon check-out I informed manager or person at the desk of all of this and he asks me "Do you drink water?" And offers me a bottle of Poland Spring. REALLY!!!!!!! The room itself wasn't bad, if I had gotten a different response I would have given a better rating, but given this is how you handle issues and compensate your customers, I would never return or recommend this Best Western. There is a very nice Hampton Inn right behind them as they share a parking lot and a Hilton directly across the road. Choose one of those if you want to feel respected!
Staff was pleasant, courteous, helpful, and professional. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory. The room I stayed in needs a really good, deep cleaning. If I visit this area in the future I will stay at a different hotel.
I stay there once a week. Great service comfortable rooms. Staff is always polite and friendly. Never have any issues when I stay here. And Applebee's is in the parking lot you can walk to it. Love this hotel.
We arrived very late because of traffic. Our reservation was for the previous night. Grateful that they had 2 rooms for us. We were greeted with a BIG Smile, checked right in. The breakfast was great. Our 2nd time staying at a BW. We definitely will be back! Great Value.
I was expecting less in quality due to the price but I was surprised ..... the rooms were immaculate and comfortable. I will look for BW in the future for my next hotel stay. The price was GREAT... so i booked an extra night.
We found this Best Western by chance and are very happy we did. The hotel staff was great especially Roger who gave all the information we needed and made our stay such a pleasant one. I would stop there anytime I am in this area.
After much driving and needed a place for the night, we wheeled in here and was told they were booked solid, a lot of military in the area, then my husband showed his military idea and they informed us they had a cancellation. Gave us exactly what we needed and a discount in the price. The room was beautiful. King bed, spacious room, perfect. Big connitenential breakfast. Definitely a place to stay.
Hotel was nice , my room needed some paint but was pretty clean just stains on wall and ceiling . Bathroom was clean and working staff was very friendly . Pool was nice and coffee very good breakfast had a lot to offer
Didn't care about the water damage to my property because of leak in walls. I am very upset i didn't even get a apology or anything brcause of the maintenance issues in my room. I. Requested money back or a free night and got denied even though the leaking water through the wall ruined my belongings.
Friendly staff, location is perfect...right off the Turnpike. Several stores and restaurants close by! AppleBee's literally in the parking lot and Cracker Barrel is right on the backside of the hotel.
There are a lot of hotel choices at Exit 5 on the NY Turnpike. We chose the Best Western because of price and reputation, and were gratified that it met our expectations. They have a great breakfast, free wifi, a pool and fitness room, great staff; what not to like?
Stayed for business Hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nothing special but they are clean and they maintain everything in them, makes for a nice evening. Do have pool and fitness area though did not use either pool area appeared to be very well maintain and very clean. Breakfast was good quality.
Our group of four stopped at this hotel on our way back to Baltimore from New York City. The hotel staff was helpful and the room was good. The breakfast was okay, but the eggs were burnt. We would stay there again if in the area.
Always stay here when I travel on the East Coast. The people are so friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I do have one concern. There was no Gideon Bible in the night stand. However, I always choose this Best Western and have a super restful stay.
We've stayed several times at the other BW near Bordentown, NJ and this one is so much better! They are only 6 mi apart, so definitely go to this one. The other one is very tired and the smell of chlorine from the indoor pool spoils your breakfast. This one appears quite new and is very clean and the breakfast is good.
While heading south, our "First Day objective" is always to get past New York City! Beyond that everything else is a bonus so I just look for a clean comfortable spot that's easy in and out with a nice restaurant close by. This Best Western fits our requirements to a "T".
Very well maintained and clean for the price! Need I say more? Nice heated pool, clean safe. Room was clean with fridge and microwave. Everything worked and was clean. I don't have a complaint at all. I will be back it was a great stay
I come here for dog competitions a few times a year and always stay here. It's well appointed, quiet and there are many restaurants very very close by. The staff always go above and beyond for me and give me a first floor room near an exit for the dogs. There is a nice area for airing your dogs in the back too.
Three family members stayed with two infants for one night during our trek to Virginia. I had researched the hotel and we chose it because it was close to the New Jersey Turnpike and had a complimentary breakfast. My first impression was not a good one, we arrived around 1:30 and the front desk clerk never even made eye contact with me during the check-in. A little weird for me. Once we got to the room it smelled and looked clean. In the am we ate breakfast and were impressed by the choices and quality of the food. A morning swim in the indoor pool before we resumed the road trip was fabulous. Finally, one of the babies dropped one of her little stuffed animals and the maid came running out to give it to us. Highly recommend!!!
I booked this hotel at the last minute for a Philly trip. Check in was very easy and convenient, and our room was very comfortable. Loved the swimming pool and a very nice breakfast (included a make your own waffle maker). The hotel is right next to an Applebee's, which we did not go to but is conveniently located near shopping and other restaurants - and a Wawa. I like this better than the other hotel we stayed at for the rest of our trip. Next time, I will book at Best Western.
This hotel was excellent, no problems, very convenient to amusement park 6 flags great adventure. The breakfast that was included was especially helpful. We would recommend this hotel to those with children.
This is where we will be staying everytime..The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. ..very nice and clean...unlike the quailty inn in Levittown. ..will never stay there again...Best Western its where to stay
Hotel was clean and the service was excellent very family friendly hotel. Location good for shopping and eating out very close to shopping and places to eat. Pool was great at the hotel. Good selection of food at the hotel for breakfast. Easy access to NJ turnpike.
Enjoyed my stay at this Best Western hotel, nice clean rooms, quality breakfast with much more options than other Best Western properties. convenient location and other amenities located close to the property
What a nice surprise, being from this area, we were visiting my parents and needed room to house my family. I found the room we stayed in must have been newly renovated. The hotel itself was clean, pet friendly :D and housekeeping was obliging clean towels, bed made and when extra was needed no problem. The breakfast was what you anticipated. The young lady responsible for bringing out the food was on target (even if the customer was greedy and took all the bacon and tried to play the race card. RIGHT.,I'm black and felt like ...Your a greedy old man!) However, people were kinda disappointedt that day because the pool wss closed down for a few hours (or so i over heard, probably for cleaning ). Overall.......I found the accommodations comfortable! Go Mt.Holly!!
Overall a pretty good place. All the amenities you would expect. Wonderful breakfast. There were some undesirable customers making a lot of noise at 3 AM, but other than that a very nice place and convenient to quality restaurants.
I tried staying here but had to leave due to lack of safety. The pet rooms are only available in the first floor. They smelled and were all very humid. Traveling by myself, I always check the security of doors and windows. I was able to open the window by simply sliding it open from the outside. The windows had no latches or bolts, insane. I asked for another room and tried 2 more rooms out, all had windows you could open from the outside. I had to leave which was very inconvenient as it was midnight. The desk attendent was unfazed. As I left I could see the local police kept driving through the parking lot.
Clean room and bathroom, Nice and super friendly staff, the water in the pool was nice and warm, good big breakfast. The location was perfect with two restaurants in the parking. twenty minutes from the six flags and on the side of the highway. Coffee and thee all day long.
I stayed here for 10 days for a business trip. Although it is evident the hotel shows some aging and may have needed a tiny bit more TLC, I was pleased with my overall stay. My only complaint is that none of the doors leading to the outside were locked and did not require a room key access. Anyone off the street could have come in. Security should be a priority with the hotel's guests.
I like Roger, who's checked me in twice now, both times treating me like an honored guest he's been happily anticipating. The room, bed, shower, and breakfast were all up to BW standards, but the internet was spotty. I was working on projects with submission deadlines and not having reliable internet was anxiety-producing. Good stay, otherwise.
My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We were going to a wedding in Philadelphia and we were only about 30 minutes from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and professional. The breakfast was excellent! We also enjoyed the nice indoor pool.
The hotel is undergoing changes due to new management. It's a no frills hotel with friendly staff. The maintenance guy John was great as he immediately took care of some minor issues. The breakfast was ok. I stayed 3 nights and can't complain.
- 10PM internet was at .17mbps. Not my fault if the hotel is full. I still should not get speeds this low. It's pointless. - Thin walls - Scratched my leg on a bar that holds the box spring. It was sticking out 4 inches passed the bed. How could the maids miss that -Manager very friendly and helpful.
Tubs have worn out, ineffective traction; no mats available to fix this. Also, tub did not drain properly. To compound this, we were told by staff that this was standard at Best Western hotels. If that's standard, it's a pretty crappy standard. Shouldn't be acceptable no matter how much of a discount/value chain it is.
Good price and breakfast was good. Has nice rooms that are clean. The staff was friendly. Easy on and off the New Jersey Turnpike Exit 5. Lots of food choices close by. Gas stations close by with better prices than the New Jersey Turnpike rest stops.
Quality overnight stop over during our drive from Florida to Maine/Toronto... Our usual approach to booking our nightly stop overs is to determine driving duration/ distance and then finding an appropriate Motel... This Quality Inn was comfortable, clean and one of the better ones which we have stayed in... Room was well decorated with nice furnishings... Staff was very friendly and maintenance responded right away to a minor TV problem (Ha, unplugged)... We will definitely alter our future stop over planning by booking this motel and then determine our driving periods...
Booked this room for a family place to stay overnight with a pool. The pool area was trashed (towels, garbage). The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. The beds are not very comfortable and the rooms are small.
This area by Exit 5 on the NJTP is central to all our family. We've stayed in all the area hotels. This Best Western was a pleasant surprise and good value. The customer service and breakfast was excellent. The indoor pool is fabulous. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the public areas, lobby, lobby bathroom and fitness center could use a bit more attention on the cleanliness side. Please note the breakfast area was spotless. There is an Applebees and Cracker Barrel within walking distance. On the whole a good stay.
We brought 40 people on a band trip to this hotel. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the pool was the right temperature and clean. Breakfast was good, kept well stocked, and the breakfast attendant helpful anf friendly. Particularly for the price , this hotel was the perfect option for us
I was travelling with a group of music students to Philadelphia and we needed an affordable place to swim, sleep, and have breakfast. This hotel came up on a search of local properties fitting our requirements. Since it was listed at $89 per night...I booked 12 rooms for two nights. Imagine my surprise when we arrived and the budget hotel was very nice, clean, well maintained, and comfortable! The staff was helpful and attentive. I hope ALL of the hotels we stay in are this nice. Thanks!
Had a great stay. Breakfast was good, Hot, eggs and sausage everyday, waffles and other amenities. Room was comfortable with a refrigerator. We also traveled with our dog. Bed was comfortable and room service was very good.
We were weary travelers with two Chihuahuas who had already been turned away by three hotels when we walked into the lobby of the Best Western. To my great relief, the night manager on duty could not have been kinder. He welcomed us and our little dogs with kindness and humor. We were very grateful and enjoyed our stay very much.
Very friendly staff, always very helpful. Room was nice, breakfast buffet was great. Always had coffee on, really good. Was able to use computer. Very courteous and helpful staff. Treated my guests nice. Made me feel at home. Cannot say enough about my stay here!
The Ritz it is Not, but if you need a good place to sleep (swim) w/ a Continental Breakfast (w/ waffles) then it's the place to stay. It is just off NJTP Exit 5 and has a Cracker Barrel and an Applebees attached to the same parking lot.
Nice pool just a little small. Great selection for breakfast. Helpful staff. Good location close to lots of activities. Wonderful value for price. I highly recommend it. Also sign up for best western rewards
Great family friendly hotel I would recommend it to family and close friends. Staff was very nice and attended to any needs I had. The pool was great, breakfast was good. Internet service was ok. The location was great close to the Turnpike, restaurants and shopping stores.
The hotel was recently remodeled and everything was clean and nice. The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is close to the turnpike and is near restaurants and stores.
Best Western Burlington/Mt. Holly was a convenient resting place on my trip back to NH from Cape Hatteras, NC. Its location off exit 5 of the NJ Turnpike made it easy to find after a long day of driving. The price was affordable. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were also great to my dog which is not always the case in "pet-friendly" hotels. The room was comfortable and easily accessible. Wi-if connection was good. All in all, a comfortable stay at an affordable price.
Best Western Burlington provided a comfortable and affordable night's rest on my way back from Hatteras, NC. It is easy to find and right off of the NJ Turnpike. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. It is not always easy traveling with a dog, but this was the perfect spot for us as our room was easily accessible from several different entrances. Thanks to staff for making my dog and me feel welcome!
it was amazing experience in western burlington inn hotel. i stay one night but it was superb i feel very comfortable. rooms was very nice and clean staff was so nice and kind. free internet free parking and free delicious breakfast i really really love this hotel i must recommend this hotel to everyone and the big thing is it fit in my budget and it is in mid range i love to come back thanks
Hotel located next to exit#5 off NJ Turnpike.Very pleasant fellow at the front desk.Breakfast sufficient,tea/coffee available all time.Rooms clean, personnel very accommodating. Cracker Barrel next door. Plenty of parking.
Hotel was within a travel corridor we were traversing. Early check-in was accommodated. Everything in the room was there to provide comfort. The indoor pool was also very inviting. It was quiet all night long.
As expected, for a Best Western. The clerk, at check-in was pleasant and polite. Our room was as expected and the hotel was quiet. My only complaints would be that the shower indicator was not correct and the towels were short. The internet connection was very slow and there was no channel guide.
The hotel is extremely comfortable, quiet and nicely appointed. It is close to a number of restaurants and is easy to get to. The front desk is really welcoming and friendly and when I am in town I always come back here even though there are alot of other choices.
passing by going back to home we were very happy with the service and the proximity of the restaurant Applebee`s. The breakfast was good and we slept well because it was calm in the Hallway. We will come bak next year for sure.
Clean sheets, very nice people with a great big smile all the time. The rooms are so comfortable and spacious. The best of all is the swimming pool and the food is sooo good. Would recommend it easily to anyone and would use it again.
Thanks again to Roger, at the front desk, for his help and his professionalism. It is always a pleasure to stop there coming back from Florida. The hotel and the room were very clean and the bed very comfortable.
We stayed here on our way back home from a business trip due to bad weather. The man who checked us in went above and beyond checking weather conditions all the way back home to let us plan when to leave. Easy access on and off the highway. Close to restaurants.
This hotel is great the staff is so friendly and the rooms are very clean and newly updated. The HOT breakfast is the best with such a large variety to choose from. The indoor pool is very clean and warm. We will definately visit this hotel again on our way back from Florida.
I enjoyed my stay at best western they were clean and Im an very difficult person to please. Receptionist as great didn't have any attitudes as if they enjoyed the job they do. The beds were very comfortable and my room didn't stink. I was here for a week and even the house keeping employees were on time and nice.
They did everything to make our stay more comfortable. We stayed very briefly but would have loved to stay longer. What attracted us was their pet friendly policy (we ended up not traveling with our furbaby). One of our best stay at a hotel
After a long tiring day on the road the friendly welcome we received from the front desk staff was appreciated. We stayed in room 107 which was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet consisted of bacon, eggs, waffles, fresh fruit and an assortment of breads and cereal. Highly recommend to others and I will return.
This was a great hotel, we enjoyed our overnight stay, and a Cracker Barrel rest in the rear.....When we travel we always stay at a Best Western hotel. They have a very friendly staff and rooms are always comfortable.....
My stay at Best Western was very enjoyable the room was clean and the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was great and there was a variety of food to choose from. The pool area was clean and the hotel was very updated. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
Was there for a week....the staff couldn't do enough for us ...the pool was amazing.....breakfast items were very good ...i will keep going back !! The location was perfect for my family and me . Thank you to all that made us feel so welcome !!
A pleasant stay during some crazy NJ weather. Breakfast was really great and appreciated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The sidewalks and walkways were kept clear as best they could be during the snow.
this hotel was excellent, clean, kids were satisfied they loved the pillows, bed etc.....no smell at all like some of the previously hotels rugs I have smelled!!!!a plus!!!! close to highways and shopping close to restaurants also....
The breakfast sausages were dry and odd-looking. The breakfast woman was rude to me for eating breakfast, that she put out, 30 minutes too soon, even though I told her my blood glucose was low. I had to practically scream at her to leave me alone. This caused me to forget my waffle in the iron as I retreated back to my room. This area has huge holes in the wall and made us paranoid. Someone came into our room two nights when we weren't there, as they turned on the lights and took our microwave. They never gave me another microwave, and I'm diabetic, so I like to prep my own meals.
Pro:Heating system in room is very quiet. Room was very clean. Con: Location is convenient, but hard to find hotel sign. Price is good compared with quality and services. I'd like to recommend this hotel
We just needed some place near Phillie that wasn't too expensive. This hotel was better than I expected. Very clean the staff was great, indoor pool, some of the furniture needs replacing...beds not the greatest, but I can overlook that because of the low price for the room. Again, the staff was great..
Stayed during Thanksgiving holiday. Staff was very courteous, rooms were very clean, breakfast was exceptional. Motel was close to shopping and several eateries. Will stay here again next time in the area. Great stay!
A very pleasant stay with affordable rates and a personnel very professionnal and with great effectiveness. The location was perfect for us and the rates were competitive. We recommend this hotel to any travellers who go south. Serge
There were a few things that definitely required maintenance in the room but the staff was overly accommodating and super sweet ... bed was awesome which was really all I cared about. The staff could use uniforms but I was ecstatic about the services they provided!!! I will definitely go back if ever in the area again!
We come here every year and every year the Burlington Inn is a sure thing. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and quite large, the breakfast is amazing, and the price is excellent! We come for the Oyster Run in Anacortes every year on our motorbikes and they provide rags to wipe down our bikes and places to park in front. Nothing negative whatsoever to say about this place! Close to shopping, close to fine dining and casual dining, fast food, close to the highway, easy to navigate around - wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.
Stay at this BW often. Friendly staff. Indoor pool is very nice. Like that hotel has smoking rooms. Hate all non smoking hotels. Many places to eat close. also gas, stores, etc. Breakfast average but stays available to 11am, later than most hotels.
I like this hotel due to the location to family and the great breakfast. Light in the bathroom was flickering and I did tell them about it, but it was never fixed. Staff is very friendly and I felt safe even though I was traveling alone.
Stayed here because my daughter had a softball tournament in Tabernacle don't think I will be using Best Western in Mount Holly again. Didn't get much sleep the walls are paper thin you can hear everything. Stayed on the second floor in room 229, and although hotel was clean very neat hotel front desk associate was very friendly and helpful , it was a little pricey for not being able to sleep and have it quiet. There was a continental breakfast in the morning from 6 AM to 10 AM they had a waffle maker you can make fresh waffles, there's also eggs, sausage, bread's for toastIng coffee, teas and juices was ok. There were a couple of hotels right around the same area and the Hampton Inn in the same parking lot would have preferred to stay there only reason I stayed at the best Western is because my daughter's team was staying there.
I have stayed in Best Westerns many times in the past years. This was the first one I saw that was seriously gross. Aside it needing MANY repairs, the smell of the rooms are disgusting, there was stains on the bed covers, the TV didn't work, the tub paint was chipping, the toilet was not properly fastened down so it rocked back and forth. The water ran in the toilet all day and night, the bathroom tile was dirty, I couldn't even take a shower because it looked dirty.
Room was comfortable, generally clean and in good repair -- including AC. All of the usual choices at the breakfast bar. "Business Center" is just one slow PC and a printer, but at least it works. Didn't try the pool, but it seemed to be popular with families staying there. What really stood out was the service: the folks working at the front desk were consistently friendly and helpful. Was happy to stay here a second time this summer.
Living away from one's native country for a brief period can be tough but it becomes quite easy with warm and friendly people taking care of you. Therefore, I would really like to thank the folks running the Best Western Hotel in Westampton for the same.
LOVED this hotel, mainly because of the male at the front desk. I didn't get his name, but he would always greet me and my wife every time we'd walk in the door, as if he had known us forever. He was extremely helpful and eager to help. This hotel has Applebee's and Cracker Barrel both within walking distance, and Charley Brown's Steak House down the road offers 10% discount with BW. Breakfast was awesome
Good location, nice pool, good am breakfast, starting at 6am, staff always very nice, professional but friendly - lots of services in area. offer smoking rooms ! hate hotels that are all non smoking. Lots of parking, walking distance to restaurants.
As expected, the room was clean and very suitable, although the king bed tended to wobble a bit. We also had trouble with our TV, but the staff on duty were very helpful and resolved the problem promptly. We would stay there again.
I always stay here when I am in the area for my dog competitions as it is pet friendly. The staff is outstanding and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is always very quiet and checking in and out is a breeze.
