Best Western Plus Milwaukee West

This hotel seemed really nice/average on the outside and from prior reviews. The fact that the price was right and they offered a pool and hot tub is what attracted us to this hotel, and it was near the location we needed. Upon arrival we had to navigate an interesting elevator, that had seemed be the only one for the whole building and we had to wait more than just a few minutes for housekeeping to use it first. Next, we were excited that the hot tub was open until 11pm; however, it was closed without any indication from the front desk or posted anywhere else besides physically seeing it was closed. Same thing with the fitness center, it was great to see improvements being made; but equipment had drapery over it and tools/paint were spread amongst the room. Upon entering the room it was set at an extremely high temperature, 89 degrees - it was like entering a sauna. Traffic was quiet throughout the night, and the halls smelt nice with the automated fresheners triggering/beeping as you walked by. Some hallways had really short ceilings that anyone who was 6' or taller would struggle with. Then finally, at the end of our stay, upon trying to utilize the blow dryer in the room, the power went off. Front desk was quick to respond; however, tried one more time to continue to use the hair dryer and it went out again. I was told to use a different outlet, but there wasn't any mirrors close to an outlet except in the bathroom. Overall, it was clean, friendly staff, and it would be a place to stay if needed; however, not my first choice in the future.

We got great service from calling at the front desk and the young man that work with her and you have the best person working in the kitchen taking care of all the breakfast needs in the morning Ensemble is very outstanding.keeps with kitchen very well.

Husband had a tube pulled after lung cancer surgery; I didn't want to drive 6 hours home so booked a room with a jacuzzi tub (used it twice). After all the stress this last month I thought I would treat myself, was surprised it came with a full kitchen as well.

Beds are comfortable, pool area is nice, hot tub could warmer, the hot breakfast was good. parking is free but quite tight, if you have a trailer or an rv, you will want to stay elsewhere. this was our second stay

The staff are helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The pool is wonderful as is the hot tub. The food at the bar is good. Excellent bar tenders and service. Breakfast was delicious.

First let me say this hotel is huge, in the middle is a beautiful swimming pool and hot tub/spa. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Bonus was the tall shower head and was able to accommodate my 6' 2" wife. Breakfast was the normal fare, eggs, gravy etc. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked.

Check in was a very long process because of new employees. When we were finally assigned a room we had to wait in the hall while it was cleaned. Once we finally got in the room, we saw there was no regular coffee. I went to the front desk to ask for some and was told they were out but they had some on order. How could a hotel run out of coffee?? The A/C was hard to adjust to a comfortable temperature. Pool area was ok. The next morning we went down into the basement for 'breakfast'. It was served in the bar area of the basement and didn't have much seating. The breakfast items weren't replenished when they ran out, the pancake machine and orange juice machine weren't working and there was no silverware. I also had a promotional gift card that I showed at check in. It was never applied, though I was told it was. When I saw I was charged full price at check out I went to the front desk. Again, since it was another new employee he said he didn't know how to apply the gift card and I would have to call the manager. It took FOUR days for them to apply the gift card. We have stayed at many Best Westerns in the past. I can't believe this one is considered a Best Western Plus! It was by far the worst stay and the worst hotel management I've had in a very long time. I would never recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay while attending the Brewer game. They have a shuttle to the game that runs frequently to American Family Field, and returns. It's also close to Potawatomi Casino. The breakfast offers a great variety of food. The room was clean, modern and quiet. The staff was friendly, and courteous. Always our first choice when attending Brewers games.

We weren't at the hotel too long so didn't see the pool or anything else. Check in was great, person working was nice made sure everything was good. Room was basic but good enough. Free shuttle to and from the game which was nice. We actually walked back after the game - through a path that goes through the hospital parking lot across the street. There was a small local bar down the street, the pizza restaurant was a nice hang out after the game. We left the hotel at 5AM, and the person at the front desk was sleeping so we had to call later to check out officially, not really a big deal but kinda weird. The benefit of being a mile from the stadium and having a shuttle made it worth it to us.

A Best Western Premier, I would have expected more. Have traveled many days this past year and have stayed at them all. I know we are all short of help, but it is up to management to make things work. A name on the building doesn't always make it the best place to stay.

Terrific location, just behind AmFam field and super easy to Uber to downtown locations. Leaving our car in their parking lot courtyard was a nice feature and felt safe. Amenities are ok, not luxury but the price also didn't break the bank!

First I must preface this with the fact that all things in this review were reported to either the GM or hotel employee(s). Due to a major issue the GM took great care of us after an employee totally screwed up and we had to stay at another BW for the first night we were in Milwaukee for the HD 120th Homecoming. Had she not done so we would have cancelled and stayed elsewhere. Our room , a king at the far end of the hall near the pool area was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the smoke detector chirped randomly and despite maintenance checking it and changing the battery , the chirping intermittently occurred for about two hours at a time Day and night. We had this problem 5 out of 7 nights. A new one was requested but never happened. Our housekeeper was fantastic keeping our room clean straight and well stocked. Chris at the front desk was very friendly nice and worked hard to keep guests, including us , happy. Parking here is tight especially since there were about 30 bikes a couple nights. The property is a mix of apartments and hotel and is across from the VA and near a couple bars. We were panhandled right in front the hotel and the constant foot traffic made us keep on high alert for our safety. In general the common areas need a deep cleaning including the entrance and hallways. But our room and bath were spotless. Hot breakfast ( eggs, pastries, hash, hash browns, cereals , bacon , sausage, coffee)is served 6-10 . Two mornings some people got pancakes while the machine had batter. It ran out and when we requested it be refilled by the employee it wasn't. We are used to BW and others having breakfast attended and the area being cleaned and tables wiped down between guests but this was not the case any time we were there. The employees in this area seemed to be on auto pilot not caring about food debris, restocking or cleanliness. When plates , utensils and napkins ran out and were requested it took a while for an employee to get a couple forks and stack of plates. A guest got napkins out the bar!Several items ran out on Saturday and were not restocked for breakfast on Sunday morning including milk and all the pastries. The pool and hot tub area are great, super nice amenities! We did not eat in the restaurant or drink in the bar but it was decorated nicely and inviting. The hours did not work with our schedule. All in all this was a below average stay made better by a couple employees and a clean comfortable room . With some work things could get better here! Depending upon what your priorities are this may or may not be where you want to stay.

Felt very welcome! New front desk manager welcomed us and introduced himself. Thanked us for being rewards members. Made us feel like VIPS. He was very helpful with anything and everything we needed throughout our stay. We have stayed here multiple times and never had any issues! We were in town for Brewers/Cubs game. Hotel is in walking distance to stadium. (1 mile) or you can take the shuttle. Has a bar/ restaurant downstairs and the is great. Has a pool party and hot tub too! We will definitely be back.

We stayed here a few times when we have weekend series tickets to the Brewers. You can walk from this location to the stadium or they offer a shuttle bus. The room we had was clean. Actually the entire location has a very clean smell to it. The staff were friendly. The location has a nice pool and whirlpool. The complimentary breakfast was great with lots of options. Overall, this was a great stay and one we come back to often.

Friendly staff. Good Bar / restaurant . Extremely tiny rooms for the price . Queen bed is not a real Queen size bed and was hard as a rock. Pool area was ok but one guy was in the pool and some guy was throwing bleach it

Close to the ballpark with great shuttle service driver Dave was great! Newly updated rooms, very clean, small but comfortable. Good food at bar/restaurant. Only downside is it in a sketchy part of town but we all felt safe. Easy to get on and off expressway to downtown and straight drive down National Ave. to older part of town with great restaurants and bars. Great price for how nice it was. Friendly staff.

I was there for one night. It is in a city so parking is a bit tight but manageable. My collegue had a large truck and there was that challenge. The amenities were fine as was breakfast. I would be back. Hotel is close to Wisconsin State Fair park.

I chosed that hotel due the distance to my target. We had a nice receiption and a friendly staff, as well as a really good breakfast choice! Room, its condition and cleanliness had been okay. Unfortunately we did not find the time to use the inhouse pool. The noice of the AC. Also with the reduced temperature settings, it re-powerd on after a few seconds, so I had to switch it off. Also I made the experience, that there must be any electrostatic loaded plastic stuff in the duvet or the matress topper - it was not really pleasant to sleep within an electrostatic loaded surrounding:-( Had been disturbed while the night by hearing the steps on the wooden floor from above...

Clean room, friendly staff, standard breakfast. Will come back here if I'm in Milwaukee again. I wasn't expecting much, but I was surprised at the wonderful service. They have a running auto coffee machine at the lobby as well, you can grab a mocha or cappuccino any time you want.

Nice hotel - would stay there again. Very nice modern clean, comfortable room. Great location. Friendly staff. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but want to! Hope I get a chance to visit again.

Stayed in town for a night to meet up with a group of friends in the area. Room was clean, check in was quick and easy. All the staff we encountered were nice. We will stay again. On site bar/lounge has great beer selection and good food.

I had an amazing stay. I would recommend this Best Western Plus to everyone looking for excellent service at a great price! I stayed here when my mother had heart surgery at St Luke's. It was easy to travel to and from the hospital. The staff were extremely personable and helpful. My room was relaxing, clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast had an amazing selection and was fresh. The bar and grill on site had great food and extended kitchen hours. I didn't use the pool or fitness area but wished I had the time to do so. I am definitely going back, just for a getaway next time. Maybe for a Brewer game or during the state fair? I found out they have a shuttle to both. Kudos to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable.

Do not even want to leave a comment, best western has done nothing but steal my points and as many stays I've had in the last 5 yrs I'll decline a review! Signed up several yrs ago in Plover outta of a smaller hotel affiliated.

Pros: Located very close to the Ballpark. They offer a shuttle ride to and from the games. Dave the driver, kept us entertained on both legs of the trip. He had some great stories. Breakfast buffet was on spot. The young lady running things was on it. Never had such tasty bacon. The hotel restaurant was also very good. I had pizza, which surprisingly was very good. Wifey had a steak, and she loved it. Room was comfortable and quiet. Room safe was very convenient. You could walk to some nice pubs/bars. Located in a somewhat quiet area of Western Milwaukee. Service at this location was exceptional. Great staff! Cons: Building is showing it's age. Carpets need some deep cleaning or replacement, especially in hallways and staircases. There is only one elevator. It is also used by housekeeping and it it very slow. There are limited tv channels available. Room itself was nice, but the toilet had no cover - just the seat - and it was very low. It appeared that the property is shared with some type of rental apartments. Parking is limited. Too many cons to call this location "Excellent". Overall it was a good stay. I would stay here again. It's in a good area - close to the ballpark. I am not a fan of staying in downtown hotels.

This was an unplanned stay for us due to an illness in our family. The staff was so friendly and so accommodating to our needs. The room was fantastic. Very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with many options. We will absolutely be staying here any time we are in the area!

Very nice accommodation and very friendly staff!. Close to the Brewers stadium. Great that there was a shuttle to the game. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. Very quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again.

This hotel has a friendly staff, comfortable beds, great hot breakfast and clean renovated rooms. The bar/restaurant is handy and shuttle service to the game. We have always stayed here and will continue.

This hotel was in a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took the free shuttle to and from the ballgame, and Dave, the driver was awesome. He was full of knowledge about the Brewers and the stadium. The breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious. The hotel premises are kept spotless. We would definitely use again and recommend to family and friends.

This is the hotel to stay at if you're going to a Brewer game. They provided us with a shuttle to the game and back. They also have a lounge and restaurant on the premises. Which was very handy. The staff was very friendly and informative. Love this hotel and will stay there again

It's a 3-star hotel. Kind of run down, but still has some new, modern elements. Our biggest issue was with the mice in our room. We spotted one scurrying around as we ate dinner and watched a movie. Friends of ours stayed two rooms down the hall and also saw mice. The front desk's response was horrendous. Not only were they generally unprofessional in terms of customer service, but they had the nerve to question our fitness as parents for not calling about the mice immediately. They attempted to make us feel bad for seeing the mice. It was a terrible interaction that could be used in a customer service training video as an example of how NOT to deal with a customer complaint.

We hadn't been to this hotel in years and they have done so many upgrades to improve our stay. Friendly staff, comfy beds, incredible pool area. Breakfast was delicious and our rooms were super clean.

We booked a room at this Best Western, particularly for its easy access to American Family Stadium and the Milwaukee Brewers. As we were checking in, the assistant manager assured us that getting to and from the game was no problem with their hotel shuttle bus. Don't worry, he said, the hotel will get you back....call the hotel if needed and he gave us his business card. The first shuttle was to leave the hotel at 5:15pm. The bus pulled up at 5:05pm and we were transported to the stadium. The shuttle bus driver told us to meet the bus in the area along the first base line. He said the bus would start pick up at the eighth inning and continue thereafter. Game was over at 10:00pm. We got to the area with bus shuttle pick-up around 10:20pm. Best Western never came. We called the 2 phone numbers listed on the business card. No answer for either of them. After 30 min of waiting, we got a taxi and got back to the hotel. When we arrived, the shuttle bus diver was parking his bus in the rear of the hotel. We confronted him in the lobby and he claimed he ran the bus "8 times back and forth" and "the last trip he waited 15 min and nobody came". We showed him the phone numbers we called, which he claimed one number was not correct and the other should have patched us thru to an operator, which it did not. He was very confrontational and rude. He ssaid we lied about calling and we were not in the right spot. He threatened us with eviction from the hotel if we did not go back to our room. When we asked for the manager, he said "I am the manager!" Bottom line, ok hotel. Nothing spectacular. But the employees, in particular the shuttle bus driver, were very rude. He even poses as a manager. If going to a Brewer game and you don't want to drive yourself and use a shuttle, check into other hotels which offer shuttle service. (I know the Hampton and Ambassador offer shuttle service) They have to be better than this.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus Saturday night and we had an issue with our room Sunday morning. The toilet in the room above ours was leaking and we could not use our bathroom to get ready in the morning. In fact when my wife tried to us the bathroom in the morning it dripped on her several times and she was pretty upset when we figured out what was going on. We called the front desk and the maintenance person promptly came up and looked at the ceiling. He cut the drywall and created a large mess in the bathroom when we were still in the room, I feel like he should have let use get our things and got us a new room before starting to repair the ceiling. I had to go the front desk myself to ask for a different room so we could use the bathroom and shower. They did give us a new room that we could use to get ready. We had to go back to the old room and get all of our stuff packed up, the smell was very unpleasant and we had to get things out of the bathroom that was a mess and pretty gross. I asked for a pretrial refund since we paid over $200 for the room because this is something that we should not have had to deal with but the clerk at the the front desk said that she was not able to do refunds. I had to ask her to have a manager call me when they got on duty at 2:00 . I did get a call from the manager on duty and I was given a $15 refund. We were still upset and I did not want argue on the phone while I was with my family at the Milwaukee zoo so I just let it go. It was not a great way to start off vacation, I would caution other travelers that if you have an issue with this hotel you probably not get taken care off. It is a decent hotel and the check-in clerk was very friendly and we did enjoy the pool but to still pay $200 and have that happen is not acceptable in my book. I feel like we dissevered more than $15 off...

I had a wonderful time, the breakfast was awesome! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor was modern and tasteful. Having coffee in the lobby was a wonderful plus. The access to the elevator was nice. The staff were there to help when needed all in all a wonderful place to stay!

We stayed here a night while moving a student into Marquette University. The hotel was located just a short drive from campus and was significantly less expensive than the hotels downtown. Plus, best Western provides free breakfast and free parking (Hotels downtown charge around $25 more per night to park!) The room itself was very nice, clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast fare. We did not use the pool or the fitness center, or the restaurant. Although there is free parking, it seems limited. There is a main parking lot in a courtyard that seems very safe, but was full when we arrived about 7 PM. There is another strip of parking the hotel owns which shares an alleyway with some homes and garages. Though the hotel staff told me they have cameras out there, it did not feel as safe and there were some unsavory characters hanging out in the area. The common areas also need a good cleaning… The carpets on the stairs are filthy and full of stains. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful! All in all, I think I will come back to this hotel next time.

This hotel is very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The parking lot is very small and only 1 car per room is allowed. My family member had to park in the apartment lot next door. Also, I received poor service in the restaurant. I sat for 15 minutes and finally left as no one waited on me.

Thie hotel is walking distance to the Brewers stadium, but the hotel does provide a shuttle with a driver who was very knowledgeable about the stadium and the area. Hotel provides and excellent breakfast with hot items.

The staff is great--knowledgeable and kind. The shuttle driver got out of his bus to personally direct us with a walking route to the ball park (which is great). We took the shuttle back to BW. The rooms have been remodeled and are clean and nice. Parking is easily available either on site or a block away in the residential area. The location is fine--common sense after dark of course. We felt comfortable. Milwaukee people are amazing.

We came up to Milwaukee for our first time last summer to take in a Brewer's/Cubs game, and had such a great time we came back again this summer. This hotel can't be beat for location! There is a free shuttle to the game and AmFam field is less than a mile away. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Although it is an older hotel, it is updated and well-maintained--very clean. The National Pizza Co. is a bar/grill in the basement which has great food. We HIGHLY recommend the giant pretzel! Last summer the bar has some really great Happy Hour specials, but those have been discontinued, which was a little disappointing. The free hotel breakfast is pretty good--eggs, potatoes, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, pancake maker, pasteries, yogurts, toast, etc. The coffee is actually GOOD coffee and is available in the lobby 24/7. The pool is just ok--it is in the basement area and it is very large, but the water seemed a little cloudy-ish. **One weird thing that happened to me both times we stayed here--everytime I would walk into the parking lot I would get itchy bites all over my feet and ankles! My husband did not get these, but he wears tennis shoes with socks, and I wear sandals. They were like flea bites or something! They weren't from the room, because the whole family walked around in the room barefooted and I didn't get them until I walked in the parking lot. This happened to me BOTH years that we stayed here! Pros: -convenient for Brewers games and downtown fun -very clean/friendly staff -excellent food/booze on site -great breakfast Cons: -pool looked a little dirty--my kids used it anyway and seemed fine! -the shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers in our shower were empty -parking lot is small and might be hard to find a space if the hotel is full. -fleas in the parking lot???

This hotel and staff exceeded my expectations. Shuttle to the Brewers game (with an engaging and entertaining driver) is a game changer. Why pay for parking! The complimentary breakfast is excellent and the restaurant/bar food is great, although they get busy. Be patient - worth the wait. On-site parking seems limited, but we never had any problem finding a space.

Great stay. Hotel is in a great location, close to local restaurants. In fact, this hotel has a great pub on premises with a large beer selection and very good food. I recommend staying here, even if you need to be downtown as it's a short 9 minute drive to the city.

This hotel is the best place to stay if you are attending an event at American Family Field. The shuttle service to the stadium was so easy and convenient, and Shuttle Dave was fun. The hotel has a great bar and restaurant, as well as pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Reliable internet and complimentary breakfast too. It has it all!

Great location close to Brewers stadium; nice, safe-appearing neighborhood; we felt safe walking in the evening hours (summer-was light out); swimming pool is big, nice and warm and clean but in the basement-weird without any sun and only a couple windows; small breakfast area but breakfast was excellent! >> they even had plenty of food out close to the end of breakfast time, which is nice. Carpeting in hallway on all floors needs to be removed or replaces desperately; our room was nice and clean; it was a busy baseball weekend and we didn't hear any of the usual weekend noise-good acoustics =] Our 2 night visit would have been 4 star had it not been for a sewer backup problem that permeated the place for 2 days. a couple decent places to eat in walking distance. Again, nice neighborhood---at least during our stay in July2022.

Tim at the front desk was very helpful with our early check in request. Also - the shuttle driver Dave was so nice and even gave us a little history as he was taking us to American Family Field. The Brewers lost both games that we watched but can't blame that on the hotel. Lol

The attitude started at check in. The desk clerk obviously didn't want to be there, she didn't want me to be there. She was wearing a nose ring purposely designed to look like a booger, I thought it was for about 15 minutes until she finally faced me and I noticed she had identical boogers. The whole check in process was unbelievably long, and I thought the nose ring added an unprofessional look to indifferent service. When I returned home Best Western sent me an email requesting my feedback. Which I gave. The thing I remembered most about my stay was feeling very uncomfortable at check in because I thought the desk clerk was unaware that she had "a boog"... and was also a bit grossed out that the look was intentional. I started on the feedback survey that the only setting where a nose ring is professional attire is a hog farm where nose rings are used to stop rooting behavior. I recieved an email from the hotel manager that contained a non apology apology, then he launched into me stating that my opinion "will not be tolerated". He went on to tell me that I was rude and that I shouldn't leave the house. He even signed the letter "Best Western Pigs". I strongly suspected the nose ring was just a small sign of a larger problem with unprofessional conduct, and by golly, my assessment wasn't off at all! The hotel manager threw a temper tantrum as retaliation for a survey his company solicited, very typical of that generation, and the definition of unprofessionalism. I won't be staying here ever again, because I deserve better! You do too.

This hotel has a free shuttle to the Brewers Stadium, a restaurant on site, and clean rooms. We traveled to Milwaukee to attend a Brewers game, and the shuttle service was super fast and easy. If you are traveling specifically for a baseball game, this is a fine location. However, the West Milwaukee area is not a walkable, touristy neighborhood. Our room was clean, but the hallways and elevator were questionable. The restaurant is inexpensive and breakfast was fine.

We chose this hotel for the location (not too close to city center), the fact that it was NOT a Brewers home game that week, and vicinity to attractions we came to see. Prior reviews on this site were good too. We arrived an hour before check-in time and were told we could pay a $15 fee or come back at 3:00. So we found something to do for an hour. Once checked in, we went to our 2 queen beds room, which was small but had a large closet to put stuff in. The bathroom was really small and not great for a family to share. The window A/C unit did not work properly during our stay. We ate supper at the hotel's pizza/grill place. The food was good, decently priced, and we ended up with leftovers. The same place for the restaurant had the continental breakfast, which was excellent: assorted pastries and cereals, a pancake maker, fruit, oatmeal, hot bacon and sausage, and eggs and seasoned potatoes. Overall, the hotel seemed very clean and the food value for the money was good. Service from the staff was very good. However, we would not stay again due to the small room, noise from guests above (could hear footsteps and whenever things were dropped), and noise from the road.

The hotel was perfectly clean and the staff were very helpful but the hotel is not in the downtown area. We were surprised by the lack of restaurants and shopping in the area. We would definitely recommend another hotel if you want to see any of the downtown area.

People where great. Breakfast was awesome. Clean rooms. We had the family of 9 with 3 rooms and a kitchenette was great to have food on hand cuz everyone likes to do their thing. We had a Great time staff was very friendly

Clean & comfortable rooms, friendly & efficient hotel staff. Could hear street noise & hallway noise but traffic seemed to slow way down at night. Nice variety at complimentary breakfast. Used the hot tub, the pool area was clean. Would stay again

Vacation to see a couple Milwaukee Brewers games. Great service and hospitality was exceptional. I'm very pleased with my recent experience with Best Western as well as my several previous stays at Milwaukee West Best Western!

We had a delightful stay . The King bed was comfortable & slept well. The hot buffet had many delicious offerings. We made use of the restaurant within the motel. Food was delicious and prices were reasonable . Office staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The room was exceptionally clean. We were thrilled to ride the free shuttle taking us to the ball park and returning .

We decided to take the train to Milwaukee for my a birthday getaway. Loved the hotel. It was a little far out from downtown but Ubers were everywhere. Pool was great, hot tub even better. Had a coffee machine in lobby that served several types of coffee. Very clean. Breakfast was very good, lots of options - girls working the breakfast were very efficient and very nice. All the front staff was great. Restaurant wasn't so great. Ordered nachos that were served with burned nacho chips and my reuben sandwich had too much oil on it from the grill. Other than that, really enjoyed the hotel.

Nice hotel, good rates. They have a complimentary breakfast, a pool, hot tub and fitness center. The street in front is busy, but doesn't seem to notice, when in the room. We had a refrigerator, microwave and kitchenette style room. Very spacious and clean. We will stay there again. Nice staff too.

The hotel and the rooms are very nice. Parking is included for no extra charge and it is onsite. The hotel supplies a shuttle free of charge to go and return from Brewer games. The bar has excellent drinks and food.

Front desk person was very friendly and told us about the hours of al the amenities while checking in, he was very helpful with questions regarding the shuttle service to the brewers game, the bar and grill had great service and food and the continental breakfast in the morning was amazing.

Check-in went smoothly and staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. TV, temperature, microwave, and bathroom controls all worked exactly as they were supposed to. Breakfast area was very clean and the selection of food items was amazing. The high quality of the food was impressive. This hotel was everything we hoped for and more. We will stay here again.

The front desk service was awful. When we arrived, we arrived early and after traveling we needed to use the restroom. Knowing we couldn't check in because we were early, we were told there were no public bathrooms. Having been a guest there in the past, I knew that was a lie. The manager REFUSED to allow us to use the facilities in the bar area. My brother became ill and needed to go to the hospital. The night clerk told us they had no idea where the nearest hospital was. When the clerk was asked to call 911, they refused. When I spoke to the manager the day after our trip, I was told they will use that as training for the desk clerks and refused to do anything more. During my visit I had inquired about past employees as they were awesome. I was told some were let go and others left. They screwed up there. Those employees were much better that the current staff. I will probably look for a new hotel next time in Milwaukee. The manager has stated we tried to check in 5 hours early and that is not true. We knew we couldn't check in at 10am, we just needed to use the restroom facilities. Not once has the manager commented regarding to the refusal of calling 911 for a medical emergency. What a sad staff. He has to train his people how to dial 911. Amazing.

Our car was stolen out of the hotel lot. Upon speaking with police and hotel staff, it is a known problem with Kia/Hyundai! Do better! At least warn your guests who have this type of vehicle. SiMple signage would have been nice.

Breakfast could have been better but overall it was really good. Right by the Brewers stadium and they had a shuttle that takes you back and forth. Dave is a great shuttle driver. Service was really good

Loved swimming pool and hot tub. Never thought they would have. Nice rooms clean bed and comfortable. Also good gym. Free coffee machine is bonus on lobby. Close to down town. Decent price daily rate.

We enjoyed our stay here! Friendly staff, and lovely large room with a great kitchen and remodeled bathroom. VERY spacious and comfortable. Nice gym and huge indoor pool. The breakfast was poor, though.

Tim, manager, went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. Helpful staff. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this hotel if you have younger kids, but it is perfect for business and couples or solo travel

Everything was great from the staff to the food and of course our room was spacious and clean and also tidy. Mitch made my wife and I feel very welcomed and very friendly. Our check in was easy and quick.

The front desk clerk was friendly & helpful, making sure to give me a reward's member rate and perks. My room was comfortable and clean. Housekeeping did a great job. Grab and Go breakfast was easy and tasty. The restaurant/bar was terrific. The central location made it a convenient. Highly recommend!

We were in town visiting family for the night. This hotel pleasantly surprised us by having a great hot breakfast, attractive lobby, great value, and friendly staff. The in room hot tub was huge and the kitchenette was ready to be used.

Staff is friendly. Food in restaurant was delicious, we had the Friday fish fry with sides of shrimp and were pleasantly pleased with the freshness of the food. Pool and hot tub not working, huge let down.Clean room.

Good service, surprisingly nice rooms, and they clearly do a great job staying consistent with air fresheners because the entire place smelled fantastic. Getting into the parking lot is okay, getting out is tough. Parking lot also has a tilt to it, so we were concerned about ice, but it seemed well salted thankfully. Place is built like a maze, but staff are incredibly helpful. If you find a successful route to your room, stick to it. I definitely recommend the place, and I'm planning to stay there for my future trips to Milwaukee. Oh and pretty solid breakfast as well!

This hotel was very nice the interior of our room was new and more modern, we even had a small kitchen area in our room. After I booked and reviewed I was nervous since there were complains about parking however that was not an issue during my stay. Overall I had a great experience with the hotel and would book again when visiting Milwaukee.

Amazing beds in amazing rooms. I haven't slept better in awhile and the shower, with having a high spout is great for couples showering just saying. A+++ on the hospitality of the staff here to. Amazing trip for our concert get away together. Thanks you guys

I had to visit the VA in Milwaukee and needed a place to stay. The Best Western is right across the street from the VA making this a great stop. Also, the pre check-in option and the quick checkout feature make the Admin stuff a breeze. I was met by friendly desk staff, quick and friendly. We ate in the Bar/Restaurant and were pleased with the selection, preparation and friendly service. Will definitely stay again

Very convenient, very clean. I was having surgery at the VA hospital early in the morning with an additional night needed for recovery. Myself and my girlfriend stayed on Monday evening and she stayed Tuesday evening while I stayed in the hospital.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on a small getaway from our crazy busy careers. Our check in was great. The lady working was very friendly. Our room was clean but the bathroom was way too small. You could barely even close the door from the toilet. Internet was horrific. I do my business through social media and it was very hard for 2 days. The breakfast area is was really made me so such a low rating. It was absolutely disgusting. No one at all was working and the trash was literally piled a foot high on top of the van due to it being full. Tables and counters were gross. The food machines were out of order. We are going through Covid right now and this area should be well taken care of. I own my own cleaning company and this is uncalled for. The guy working behind the counter on our second day was very rude and didn't want to even help with my husbands simple question of the coffee machine being broken.

Not only is this a perfectly clean and comfortable place to stay the staff and housekeeping people are outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting the Milwaukee area and i can't wait to have another reason to go back again.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Brewers' ball park. The morning staff person was super friendly. Breakfast options were the best of our month-long trip around Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois, when we stayed in hotels. Everything was clean and handy. Room was large enough to re-pack, etc.

The bed was very uncomfortable and noisy and it fell on one side to the floor one of the light did not have a light switches I had too cut it off switch by unplug it.. The parking lot was very crowded

The hotel was great. Rooms were clean. Large and enjoyable pool area. The breakfast wasn't the best. Parking is very difficult if the hotel is almost booked. Most of the staff was very friendly and thanked us for staying with them. I would go back again.

The staff was wonderful from the front desk (Miss Keesha) thank you so much ! To the bartenders and chef !! The food was wonderful too ! The breakfast was great too even in this Covid time ; they had plenty of options and it was well stocked and very clean !! Right up to the pancake machine . The rooms were very clean and nice also! The hotel was okay. Nothing above and beyond what you might expect for a Best Western brand hotel. Clean, comfortable. I would make sure to shop around, as the nightly price was extremely high for the night we stayed to attend a Brewers game; we paid way too much for this room, we could have stayed downtown at a nicer hotel for the price.

In town for a Milwaukee Brewers game and the Best Western was a great fit. The hotel offered a free shuttle to the game that was efficient and fun. Kudos to the driver (Dave?) who offered great stories about the Brewers and Milwaukee history. The hotel room was spacious and had all the amenities needed. Breakfast was offered in the morning so that was a plus. My only complaint was the parking for guests. The lot does not have enough spots for all the guests' cars, therefore cars must park on the street on front of the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel to see a Brewers game in July. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel has a free shuttle to and from the game--which we used with no problems. You could walk to the stadium as well--I'd guess about 20 minute walk. The rooms were small but adequate. We walked to a local bar after the game, which was good as well. The parking lot fills up quickly on game days, so don't arrive last minute if you can help it. We visited a local mall about 15 minutes away.

We had a great time. The service was great, food was good and being able to be shuttled to the Brewers game was awesome. Shuttle Dave made the ride over and back very entertaining. Hotel was clean and beds were very comfortable. Definately will plan on staying there again.

This is a great place to stay for a Brewers game. The shuttle starts running 90 minutes before first pitch. Be sure to note where you are dropped off. We got confused and waited at the wrong place after. The driver was so nice to come back and find us.

Poor quality for what you spend for the night. The shuttle took us an hour to go .8 miles. Avoid that if it is a big game. The breakfast was gross. My kid drank spoiled milk and got sick. The apples were rotten. Our room stunk like urine and cigs. And if you're there on a weekend it's pretty loud. Pretty terrible experience. There are better options than this place.

Waited at front desk for a long time before any one showed up. Came back twice after check in for food, no one at the desk again. Took what I needed and gave a list of items taken. No curtains in the room. So inside of room visible entire time.

Very clean and spacious room with a nice kitchenette, TV was nice. Very friendly service, shuttle driver to Brewers game was informative and entertaining. Breakfast was good with microwavable sandwiches, cereals, juice and a 24/7 frappuccino machine. Great pool and hot tub. Appreciated the eco friendly soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Would definitely stay for another Brewer game.

I spent 3 nights at this hotel in July 2021. The ladies who checked me in were very friendly and helpful. They even made sure I could place a takeout order minutes before the on-site restaurant closed as I arrived later than expected due to a flight delay. The ladies working in the restaurant were likewise very friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. My only complaint is that the WiFi connectivity was extremely spotty for my entire stay. It was very difficult to do anything online. Luckily, this was a leisure trip so I didn't need to log in to do anything work related; I just like to surf the net a bit in the evening before turning in for bed. It was sort of annoying not to able to do that, but it wasn't a deal breaker.

We were passing through on our way back to Colorado from Chicago - stopped to see a dear friend living in a nursing home in St. Francis. This hotel is very clean, the staff members are all very professional, friendly and expedient. The location worked well for us. Good bang for the buck on all counts.

The hotel is in a nice location, safe neighborhood, has good parking, restaurants are near and the rooms were clean. There's no one working the breakfast area. Things were repeatedly out of stock. Repeatedly I had to go find somebody to get some thing. (No syrup, no bread, pancake machine not working, no juice). There is only one microwave available which means you have to wait 15 minutes in line to microwave a frozen sandwich. When we complained to the front desk that nothing is being done to sanitize tables or restock the woman at the front desk said nobody works the breakfast area. Which translates to nobody is also sanitizing the area. We sat and waited for the pancake machine to be reloaded for 25 mins. No one came. When we mentioned this the staff behind the desk she actually laughed. This was at 830 am on 5/31/21. BEYOND dissatisfied and disappointed in this hotel. I've never stayed in a best western I didn't love. Definitely will not be back.

Bed was comfortable, lots of pillows of different types, room was well-equipped. Plumbing, mini fridge, all worked fine. Closet was big and roomy. No issues during the stay. I didn't try the breakfast but it was complimentary.

We stayed at this hotel to be near American Family Field for a game. The hotel was quiet, provided breakfast and there's a bar/restaurant on site. We plan on staying here again in the future for the baseball games.

Have stayed here over the years when I use the VA right across the street. This hotel has always been very clean and very comfortable but it seems since the virus they have really took pride in the cleaning. All the rooms I have stayed in have been upgraded. The beds are comfortable, bathroom shower plenty of pressure. The front desk is always helpful, professional and accommodating. I look forward to my trips to the Milwaukee VA and staying here. I found as a bonus there is a restaurant in the lower level and have had a few items that were very good. Only thing I can think as a possible issue can be the parking, particularly when Brewers have home games. Having said that the hotel is always quiet and I have never had an issue sleeping all night. It is very quiet. Highly recommend.

I travel to Milwaukee once a month. I stayed in different hotels in the city looking for a good fit and this location was it. Always clean, awesome staff and great value for the money. I now only stay at this location when I'm in the city.

This Best Western has encountered a name change over the years (I often still call it "Woods View Inn"), but it has been my regular Milwaukee destination for any leisure trip to the Beer Capital of the country. The zoo, Summerfest, or just a weekend excursion, this is my first choice for accommodations. I only wish they'd reward my long-standing loyalty a tad.

Not enough parking. Had to park a block away on a side street and walk through a dark alley to get to hotel. Not safe. 2 desk clerks not knowledgeable to redemption of rewards certificate. This cause multiple issues throughout stay, lock out of room, took all weekend to resolve. Won't be back.

Room was very close to the front lobby and noisy. Hot water was very weak in the shower. Supplied shampoo and body wash was empty in our Room. Advertised breakfast turned out to be a microwave sandwich not a hot cooked breakfast. Advertised hot tub was closed, assumably due to covid, but was advertised as something I could use.

Best Western canceled my reservation 9 months after I made it. On June 15th, 2020 I booked two (2) rooms for May 8th, 2021 (yes, 11 months in advance). On February 24th, 2021 (9 months after the booking) I received an email from Best Western canceling my reservation. The reason for the cancellation was “Our hotel policy as of March 12th, 2019 prohibits us from renting to guests who reside within 30 miles of Best Western Plus Milwaukee West.” Doing the math I booked the rooms 15 months after this policy was created and my reservation was accepted and accepted for 9 months. AND then it then took 9 months after my booking to cancel my room. I had booked the rooms for family coming in from out of town, yes I paid for the rooms and live within 30 miles, but I was not staying there. I called the Best Western immediately after I received the cancellation email to explain I paid for the two (2) rooms but there were guests coming from out of town that reside outside 30 miles of location. I asked if the rooms could be transferred to the guests from out of town and not canceled. The answer was no. I then questioned the timing and lag in policy enforcement, accepting the reservation, and then cancellation (9 months later). The manager stated they check daily for reservations made to people with addresses within 30 miles of the location to follow the policy and cancel them. Why did it take 9 months then to cancel my reservation? Then the truth came out that that the hotel had overbooked for May 8th, 2021, and was the reason for the Manager revisiting the 30-mile radius policy. It took 9 months to cancel a reservation that is 2 months away. I again informed the Manager, that yes I paid for the reservation but the family staying there reside more than 30 miles away, and would she honor my reservations made 9 months ago. The answer was "No" and the out-of-town guests could try to book themselves. My response, “didn't you just mention that you had overbooked for May 8th?” Words of caution if you are ever going to stay at a Best Western, do not book in advance or you may get a surprise cancellation.

Our stay here was very comfortable and enjoyable. The staff was exceptional and the room was very nice. Really enjoyed the breakfast--there were many items to choose from and it was very clean and easy to get to.

Altho the rooms are smallish, nothing else was small. Restaurant is tiny but the food is wonderful and delicious. We celebrated a birthday and steak, salad, and French onion soup was worth twice as much. Great personable server too! The pool was nice and we had it all to ourselves at 10 a.m. too bad that Covid closed the hot tub. We also had the breakfast room all to ourselves also at 7 a.m. loved the pancake machine that produced 2 pancakes at the touch of a button. Everything was individually packaged according to Covid precautions. Breakfast sandwiches, juice, pastries, and just everything. But the thing that was best was Kristine, new to the desk at this location, but not new to her front desk job for BW. She kept smiling as I came down three times in two hours looking for items that we did not pack but she was able to supply. Then the next day I thought that I lost the key and she made another, only to find it in the room. Then she gave the birthday lady a small gift to complete the great experience. Kristine has the perfect personality for great customer service. The motel is minutes from everything with easy parking. We will stay there for future travel.

Friendly, helpful staff (everyone we encountered). Fantastic restaurant food with great prices. Check in and check out was easy and quick. Anytime time we saw any staff we were always asked if we needed anything or if there was anything they could do to help.

Best Western was clean every where - even the pillows, friendly helpful staff, breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, safe easy parking, nice decor and pool area pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

Whenever I have business in Milwaukee I stay at this Best Western. The location is great for my purposes. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The accommodations are clean and the beds are comfortable. Most importantly, it is a great stay for the price! I would highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel exceeded our expectations in the age of Covid. The room was comfortable & had all the amenities we needed. I used the pool & it is larger than most hotel pools & very nice. The breakfast was grab n go but also adequate. The location is perfect for freeway access so it was a great choice for us!

We stayed on our way to the lake shore where we took the ferry to Michigan. Nick the manager was kind and attentive. Room was excellent. Good to have restaurant in basement. Exercise room was well equipped too.

Husband and I flew to Milwaukee and choose this hotel due to it's 10 minute easy drive to the downtown area. When we checked in I asked for a quiet room and was given a room on the first floor directly in front of the hotel. I went back and the front desk person was not very friendly but did give us another room on the back side of the hotel overlooking the parking lot. This is a no frills stay but I have to say I slept better in these beds than I have in hotels twice the price. This was one of the quietist hotels I have stayed at. Even with construction workers that were outside some at night conversating I was amazed! No slamming doors or maids talking in the hall in the mornings,! Rooms are very nice and comfortable, and have been renovated. I loved that you can actually open the windows and get fresh air. Husband was not thrilled with the location at first due to it being in a neighborhood but we never had any trouble and parking was easy and off the main road. No breakfast was served but you could go down to the front desk and get yogurt, milk, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches etc. Pool was inside and did not feel heated but it was clean. Would stay here again!

The room was was nice and innovative looking. We had no idea it was equipped with full-size fridge with freezer and stove/oven along with microwave. We could live here! Staff were kind, hotel smelled good. Whirlpool was perfect for evenings and mornings. Thank you for a great stay! We will def be returning

We booked the suite with the whirlpool tub.... which was crazy cheap and amazing for the price. The bar downstairs has literally everything on the menu, the service is impeccable, and every single employee at the establishment just wants to make everything perfect. Book with confidence!

The was just an overnight stay, but I will definitely be back again the next time I'm in town. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff was very nice. The room was spacious, very clean, and in well order. The bed was very comfortable. Overall a great place to stay!

Room was cozy and comfortable. Pool was refreshing and clean. Employees were nice and helpful. Restaurant/Lounge is a plus when staying here. Only downfall was no buffet breakfast due to the COVID19 situation.

The pizza from the restaurant on the lower level was really great. I had my service dog with me and there were no questions asked about her staying with me. Fantastic experience. Started with the check in, Melanie was fantastic! Room was big and much nicer than the bargain price I got. The pool is nice (a little small), but clean and not killing me with chlorine. Breakfast was really great, too, hot and plentiful.

I booked a room for my daughter's volleyball tournament the weekend of March 21-22 at the Wisconsin Center. When I booked I selected the pre pay option. I had never selected that before and didn't realize I couldn't cancel it without the 24 hr. cancellation selection. Well the tourney was cancelled just like everything else because of the COVID-19 stuff going on. I spoke with Nick (Manager) on 3/12/20 and he advised me that I cannot get a refund. I would have to think that something like what is going on, (with Covid-19) there would be some flexibility in giving a refund. I didn't cancel because we can't make it. The Tourney was cancelled. I am a business owner myself. I understand companies need to make money, but with over a week notice to re-rent the room I would have thought they would grant a refund and have some compassion for their customers. Needless to say I will NEVER recommend this Best Western or any Best Western to anyone. It is a shame that companies don't look at the bigger picture of customer care and return customers. (with refunds for something completely outside the customers control). They will never get my reservation again. I will also be letting everyone within the Sting Volleyball program know not to book this Best Western in the future.

Stayed there on a recent visit to State Fair Park. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were recently updated and clean and neat. It had a big pool area, however we didn't have time to use it. We ate at the National Restaurant at the hotel. They have a great Homemade Pizza. Also a large selection of tap beer. The restaurant is Kid friendly with a separate dinning area. They have breakfast in the Morning. Would stay again!

This is our second time staying at Milwaukee Best Western Plus and it won't be our last. The hotel has been upgraded, the rooms are clean, tastefully decorated and quiet. Nick the hotel manager is simply the best. You can tell that he really cares about the guests and goes out of his way to make sure that your stay is a pleasant one. We were pleasantly surprised that our room was upgraded. The room was clean, well appointed and quiet. We ate twice at the restaurant for dinner, the service was great, food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Our waitress was fantastic, she went out of her way to provide good service. We appreciate the convenience of the location of the hotel, close to our family and to I-94. This has become our hotel of choice whenever we're in Milwaukee visiting family.

I stayed at this hotel numerous times during 2018 and 2019 on business travel. My company's travel folks placed me here because of its convenient location and price. This hotel has a weird set-up. It is essentially the front half of a sizeable apartment building. On the outside, it appears to be a large facility, but, in reality, the actual hotel is only about 1/3 of the entire building. Because it is part of the apartment building, the indoor pool facility is shared with the apartment folks. I have no complaints about the cleanliness of the place. I thought it was well-kept. I believe the owners just completed upgrading the facility in 2018 with new rooms, HVAC, etc. The hotel does offer a free breakfast buffet in their basement restaurant and was decent enough. The hotel's parking lot is a bit lacking. You park in the central court of the hotel/apartment complex, and the spaces are tight. This can be a bit of an issue during winter in Milwaukee when the snow drifts become quite large. As for restaurants, there are not many options in the immediate area. There is a very good German resturant just a few blocks west of the hotel that is worth checking out.

Coldest, dirtiest hot tub. Friendly service. Clean rooms but shower head was loose & little water pressure. Conditioner & body wash pumps did not work. Nice bedding & clean carpet. Newer tv. Black out shade

We went to a concert Saturday night & it was great to be able to get a shuttle to & from the concert without worrying about parking, the hotel was very clean & staff was very friendly. Our shuttle driver was great. A very pleasant overall experience

This was our second stay here and we were very pleased with the service and room. We stayed 2 nights. The first night was great, even though there was karoke in the bar downstairs, we were able to turn the fan in our room on and get a good night's sleep after being at the Bucks game. The second night we had a very noisy family above us. They were constantly running, jumping, and who knows what else so I mentioned it to Nick at the front desk. He was very accommodating and told him to let him know if it continued. We don't usually complain and can handle noise but this was extreme. I called Nick and told him it didn't get any better so he made a call upstairs and asked them to quiet down. A bit later he called back to our room and asked if it had changed. I told him it didn't and he immediately offered us another room, saying he wanted us to get a good rest. He even came and delivered the new keys to our room and asked if we needed a cart to move our stuff. We packed up and moved to the top floor and opened the door to a suite. This was not necessary or expected but just shows the great customer service! We also used the shuttle service to the Bucks game the first night. Dave, the driver, was wonderful! So friendly, and was like a tour guide, telling us all about things that we passed on the way to the Fiserv Forum. He dropped us off at the door and picked us up right where he told us he would! Great service!! The cookies, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. in the lobby every night and morning were a very nice treat! The food in the bar downstairs is very good and very reasonable. The hot breakfast in the morning is delicious! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the pool was VERY cool and the hot tub was luke warm. We still enjoyed relaxing there and I'm not a complainer! The one other think I don't care for is that the hotel allows access to the pool to those that live in the apartments behind the hotel. This is NOT good for the hotel! I hope this changes soon! Not sure how the hotel benefits from this.

This facility beats the Brookfield and Pewaukee Best Westerns for cleanliness, friendliness, and great comfort. The hot breakfast was outstanding in its variety and upgraded options (fresh squeezed juice, 2 choices for fresh eggs, Canadian bacon and Sausage, real plates and cutlery—no plastic). From checkin to checkout, the staff exceeded all expectations.

I booked this hotel because of the location and the amenities. When I got there, I was told that “this is basically a motel” and that the meeting room pictured on their website no longer exists. I came for a work trip so I had to move hotels immediately. The person working was not helpful and did not give me a way to contact the manager, and said that my room was non-refundable. There was also a horrendous toxic smell throughout the building, and the rooms are directly off the lobby, so no sound barriers/privacy. I will never stay at a Best Western again.

My Fiancè and I visited for a business trip. We decided to go to the restaurant and have dinner. When we arrived it was karaoke night!!!! Drinks and food was very affordable. We had a ball!! Staff was very professional and engaging. The upgrades are amazing!! From the staff, to the rooms, the decor,the restaurant, everything was pass expectation!! Breakfast was Great!! Mrs.Denise did an outstanding job with the food and her customer service was impeccable. I highly recommend this Hotel when ever near the area.. Thanks Best Western for an Amazing stay.

The facility is not the ritz, but it is economical, clean and in good repair. The rooms/beds are comfortable and quiet. The facility has a bar/restaurant with good food. The soups and pizza are tasty and a good value. The pool and fitness room are decent. The morning breakfast is excellent, especially the egg scramble and the crisp bacon. There is a lot of variety. If you are there for VA appointments they give a discount to veterans and if you sign up for Best Western rewards, you can get discounts this way, too.

Every single staff member was attentive to making our first trip to Milwaukee a great one. The breakfast was amazing with numerous choices, both healthy and delicious. The location was ideal for my son and I traveling to see the sites of the city. The pool was perfect for winding down and room service was wonderful for the night we decided to stay in after a long day. The hot chocolate in the lobby was a welcoming luxury, too.

Stayed at the BW because the proximity to the Va. Great staff, friendly and helpful. always smiles and means alot when you work overnight. Breakfast would open early some days and that was a plus because I would get in at 545-6am and I can grab a bite before I closed my eyes. Minutes from Brewers stadium and shuttle to Bucks game. Great place to stay if visiting Brewers game or VA.

Great location near stadium and highway. Lots of things to do near by. Pool area looks very nice. Breakfast area quaint. Restaurant is very nice to have in the hotel. Rooms were clean, bed is very comfortable. Water pressure very good. We had noisy neighbors on our visit with slamming doors. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was broken and the elevator wasn't working the first day. All in all a great place to stay.

Stayed one night to offset the costs of staying downtown. Nick at the front desk was wonderful!! Room was very clean. No issues other then the conditioner dispenser not working. People were very loud on a Saturday night (hotel provides ear plugs). Once I put the air fan on, it was better. Hot tub in the pool area wasn't hot. Not a big deal. Breakfast area and ladies staffed were very nice. Enjoyed my stay!

Great hotel but limited parking because cars were parked in the lot that were not registered.Cars were even parked in the 10 minute registration spots. I was on crutches and had a disabled sign for my car but those spots were taken also. ( cars were not marked disabled either).

This is a very friendly, clean, outgoing hotel. The staff was amazing!! The restaurant was fantastic and friendly as well, we enjoyed our dinner and our stay!! Would highly recommend this hotel to others!

Great option to stay at in Milwaukee. Newly remodeled and very convenient. Staff was excellent. The longue / restaurant was great place to hang out. The bed was so comfortable I slept great. Much better than the airport BW.

We have stayed at the Milwaukee West Best Western before. First time was wonderful and they didn't disappoint on this return trip. A sign on the property says they have hotel shuttle to Brewer games! This is conveniently located by many Milw attractions. We took a Lyft for under $15 to downtown. Breakfast is amazing and has a lot of choices for everyone's tastes. Clean; well kept; very pleasing up to date decor. They also are doing their part for environment by giving option of reusing towels; refillable shower amenities; and even a recycling bin in the room! You won't go wrong staying here!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here. The hotel is clean and modern and the staff was very friendly. We got last minute tickets to a Bucks game and loved that we could take advantage of the BW shuttle service to go to and from the game. The room was even bigger than expected and it was great to relax in the whirlpool in the room. Would definitely stay here again if I am back in Milwaukee!

Nick, the manager, went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We were traveling with out 2 boys, 6 & 10, and wanted a hotel with a great pool, hot tub, and good breakfast included-and a quick jaunt to downtown. We found all that and more here! Nick even arranged a free shuttle to and from the Bucks game for us. Great coffee/capaccino machine in lobby too! If you want great staff who go above and beyond, stay here!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. First off it's conveniently located right off of I-94 and for you sports fans it's right behind Brewers stadium. The hotel was very clean and inviting. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom although a little on the tiny side was very well equipped and spotless. The staff were all so nice and welcoming, very friendly and professional. The complimentary breakfast was superb, we expected the usual continental style breakfast and were pleasantly surprised that this was a full breakfast, there was something for everyone. The food was hot and delicious. The only negative regarding this hotel is that there are no laundry facilities, hopefully that's something that they can change in the future. We definitely recommend this hotel and since we have family in Milwaukee we will definitely be staying there again.

I travel for work regularly and stay in up to three hotels a week. This particular hotel stood above most I have stayed in and is the best I have lived in this past year. The location is ideal for me as my family lives ten minutes away so it's great for holidays. Nick working the front desk was astounding in customer service including searching and finding wife's lost ring. I would give him a raise immediately. Safe to say I will making this my primary hotel when in Milwaukee and all future stays will be at this location

The hotel was very clear. The staff were very friendly. I stay in about 40 hotel rooms a year and this was one of the nicest stays that I had this year and at a very affordable price. I stayed in rooms that cost 3 times as much that were not this nice. I flew in late and stayed here because of the price and location and I was very surprised.

Nick the manager was great. He let us check in early. He was very welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean. Great location for our purposes. I've stayed at Best Western for awhile now. I will continue to do so. Hats off to Nick and his team there in Milwaukee!!

Very Nicely located half way between downtown Milwaukee and the Fair grounds at West Allis where I went for Trainfest. Staff is courteous, and the rooms have what you need for a fair price. The complimentary morning breakfast is a good deal.

The room was very clean and had plenty of space in it. The kitchenette was very sufficiently stocked. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very well done at this hotel.

I selected this hotel cause it was close to the VA where my husband there for an overnight stay. The guy that was working the desk the night I stayed was most helpful with me and getting me all checked in. He even came up and brought be new rooms keys cause mine weren't working.

Good location for the wedding reception we were attending at Anodyne Coffee Roasters. Everything was good and the price was reasonable. It is an easy drive to the downtown area along Hwy. 59, I believe it was.

Directly across from the airport but quiet. Massive tropical pool. Our room was a double queen, very clean and well appointed. The king suites are two rooms and will be our next stay. Great restaurant. Very professional and friendly front desk staff.

Room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was tasty with lots of options and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything seemed to be clean and tidy. We will definitely be staying there again.

I stay at BWs a lot. I have to say this on is tops on my list. The attention to detail was unmatched. They had extra towels and pillows in the room--didn't even have to ask for them. Mini fridge was over-sized. And they actually have a nightlight in the bathroom. (I usually travel with one.) Room was clean. It's obviously a renovated building, but they really, really did a nice job.

The room above us had a creaky floor, we were in 116. Other than that everything was great. Reception desk were super nice. Beds were comfy, hot tub was relaxing. Coffee at the front was yummy. Parking was easy.

Business trip had a change of plans and needed an extra night for a Friday night stay. Staff was wonderful and accommating extending my stay and keeping me in my same room! They were happy to help and make sure everything was taken care of.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel and found it to be great for the value, location and room size. Our room had a full kitchen, bed was very comfortable, and the hot breakfast was a great way to start the day. It was a very short drive to downtown and also some great restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here, the remodel looks great and we would definitely stay here again!

I've been wanting to stay there when I've gone down to the VA. This was my first time being able to. The price was too high due to the Brewer games. Every thing was great. The only thing I didn't like was there were no privacy curtains on the windows to close so the outside light shined on the bed and people from other room could see in. I was one the first floor facing the court parking area.

I could find nothing wrong with this motel. The room was immaculate, very comfortably furnished and very quiet. The staff is exceptional and go out of their way to ensure your stay is a comfortable one and that you have everything you need including items you forgot to pack. I've never experienced such fine service. They really do care about their guests. It is one in a million and I will stay here again.

We got in very late coming from a wedding and a 3.5 hour drive up. Was a quick sign in and basically slept and got up, had a little breakfast and then headed to Marquette for a college visit. Was conveniently located to where we were going, parking on the property was full so had to park across the street but was not an issue. It does have its own bar and grill which would be convenient.

Had a great overall experience. The staff was friendly. professional and knowledgeable. We spent 22 days in different Best Westerns and this one was the BEST. We loved the FRESH SQUEEZED orange juice. That was definitely a nice nice touch.

My friends family booked this hotel to stay before a Brewers game. It was conveniently located next to the stadium. The room was nice and appeared to be recently remodeled. The pool was fine but the hot tub had a very low water level and a lot of debris on the bottom. The jets were spraying water everywhere and it was not a relaxing experience like a hot tub should be. The pizza place in the lower level was very good and I would definitely eat that pizza again! The continental breakfast had a great variety and I would love to eat that again. Overall, a very nice stay and if the need arose, I would stay there again.

The location is great for getting downtown and super close to baseball stadium. The breakfast is far and away the best selection of any best western--fresh squeezed orange juice, pancake maker, yogurt dispenser, fresh room temperature muffins. Ask for room toward the back to get away from street noise.

The only negative thing I can say is the breakfast could be much better(the food - Staff and facilities are good). And the bathroom was quite small.

Some friends and I chose this hotel location for its proximity to Miller Park and the downtown area and we were not disappointed! The hotel staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. They provide shuttle service to Miller Park which made it so easy to get in and out. The shuttle driver was funny and informative as well. The shuttle does not run downtown when there are home Brewers games - but it does when the team is not in town. We Ubber'd downtown which was like a $11.00 trip - so that was not a concern for us. The hotel provides a wonderful hot breakfast and all of the staff in the restaurant are very nice and efficient in keeping the hot entrees fresh and forthcoming. Will definitely return to this hotel when traveling to Milwaukee again!

We picked this location because of its closeness to Miller Park to see the Brewers. Melanie was very helpful in getting us checked in. She told us about the shuttle to the park which takes us to the game and picks us up after the game. The driver was friendly and on the ride over told us the history of the Brewers, Ballpark and the local area. He picked us up on time after the game. The trip was great. Melanie and the staff were wonderful.

We had an excellent stay here. The front desk staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The shuttle service was fantastic! Took us right to Miller Park, dropped us off at the shuttle service area and was right there to pick us up after the game. Dave our driver was funny and gave us Milwaukee trivia on the way over. We could tell he really loved his job, it really showed in the service he provided us. The hotel was recently remodeled and looks fabulous. The food at the restaurant was good, both in the evening and the continental breakfast. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and stay here again on our next trip to Milwaukee.

This place is just a no frills, reasonable property. They get it right every time, and the staff has been nothing but helpful and friendly. Great little bar and restaurant in the lower level, good beer selection too. We always stay here to walk to baseball games at Miller Park. Clean rooms, roomy bathrooms. Just can't say enough about it.

We stayed at Best West Plus Milwaukee West just because it was close to Miller Park. The hotel was a great find. The staff from the front desk personal, house keeping to our nightly bartender were great. I would stay here again if I was coming to town for baseball. it's a short walk to the ballpark OR you can take the hotel shuttle which will drop you up and pick up at the front gate. We walked and had no problem.

The shuttle to Miller Park was great, Dave is an awesome driver. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel was in walking distance of the 4th Base Bar and Cesar"s Inn for late night cocktails or food.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very clean and friendly. It was a great location to base from and explore Milwaukee. The free breakfast was one of the best we've had. The restaurant had great variety and delicious pizza which we enjoyed in our room. Especially enjoyed the front patio with a gas fire place. The pool was always clean with fresh towels, however it was very noisy. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the City.

Great hotel when your planning a visit to the State Fair. Staff are all very happy , kind and helpful. Our room was perfect. enjoyed a ride from their shuttle bus every hour on the hour to the fair. We enjoyed our ride with Nick to the fair. He loves his job and this hotel and that means a lot.

Stayed one night after visiting the State Fair. Room was large, clean and hotel looked like recent upgrade. Bed was comfortable and the morning breakfast was good and satisfying. The only funny thing was the package of foam earplugs placed on each bedside table with a BW note offering a better nights rest with the plugs. I didn't think much about this until I shut off the tv and lights and rested my head on my pillow to drift off to sleep. Although not loud enough to keep you awake, there were creeks and noises from above and through the hall way. If you are a light sleeper or have a difficult time falling asleep you might be real happy for those plugs!

I was in the restaurant and sat about 20mins before the waitress comes from back and still wasn't served for another 10mins. After 30mins I finally was asked if I need a menu I said no just a bottle of spotted cow. After my first beer I put it forward and tried to get the waitress attention it to 9mins before she looked my way and served me my second drink. I believe that's poor service when theres only four customers in the bar.

I came there this pass Wednesday and the customer service sucks i had to wait at least 30 plus mins to get service. The tall white male was just walking around like he didn't know what to do. The bartender came back and left again so i pick my things up and just left.

Had a great time went to Milwaukee bobblehead museum spent two hours there seen the Cincinnati reds play the brewer reds won grand son got a foul ball. Went to Green bay saw the packers stadium s spent 4 hrs there. next day went to the miller brewery spent Two hours there. Milwaukee people wre very kind and helpful. thanks for a good time

Stayed at the Best Western Milwaukee Plus with a wedding block. Staff was easy to work with and very helpful throughout entire weekend and process. It's a perfect location if going to Miller Park. Breakfast each morning was different, yet delicious! All around a wonderful visit.

Great convenient hotel that offers to a shuttle to and from Miller Park but is also within walking distance. Pool, fitness center and free breakfast are just some of the amenties! I would recommend to those staying a short or long stay!

We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel because of road works and detours in the area. The hotel is in good condition, bedrooms are clean and breakfast very good. The restaurant (located in the same room) is quite ok, waitresses are friendly and the food is tasty, not to mention the local beers. Swimming pool is fairly large although located underground, the fitness room is also quite acceptable. Overall a good experience on the way from Chicago to Madison

Great place to stay, not far from downtown. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms, comfy beds, great bar. Love the gas fireplace on the front patio. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area again.

My two sons and I were hitting five ballparks in five days from Omaha. This was the best place we stayed, with a fine room, good breakfast and a free shuttle to and from the Brewers game. Thanks Best Western Plus.

Front desk & shuttle driver very friendly - he gave history as we drove past things. Rooms spacious - fridge & microwave. Beds super comfy & lots of pillow choices. Best hotel shower ever! Breakfast buffet was amazing! Newest technology for fresh squeezed oj, fresh made pancake machine, fresh yogurt, oatmeal machine,etc .. 1st hotel breakfast i have seen the option to make breakfast burritos! Food was great. Hotel was easy to get too. Pool area nice - only downfall was hot tub was very very weak.

We were on our way to a wedding in Chicago and thought to catch a brewers game the night before. We've stayed here many times for games because it's a quick walk. Pleasantly surprised when we pulled up and saw it was remodeled. Interior changes were great. Breakfast area moved and much larger. Staff even seemed happier but that's understandable working on a nicer environment. Loved the shuttle bus. Nice bonus!

I was in town for business and chose this Best Western based on other reviews and my own positive experiences at other Best Westerns. This was conveniently located near my office which is also close to the VA and Brewers stadium. Check in was a breeze, ample parking, and an onsite restaurant/bar. The hotel looks as though it's been renovated recently. The room was small but clean and nicely decorated. I was very pleased. The bed was comfortable and there were many pillows to chose from. The bathroom was clean with a working hair dryer and fluffy towels. I used the fitness center in the morning, the machines were in good shape. There is a coffee maker in the room with Wolfgang Puck brand coffee. The coffee in the lobby and in the free breakfast area is horrible! That would be my only negative opinion of this place. Otherwise, the breakfast includes hot options, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancakes along with the cold options and fruit. I didn't use the pool but it was indoors and looked like a nice enough area. If would recommend this place if you are looking for a comfortable night stay that won't break the bank.

Close to Miller Park stadium where we were watching Brewers. Room was clean and comfy. Some noise from noisy cars on National avenue where Best Western is located. Excellent breakfast (do not miss it)

Not a 5-star hotel, but a 5-star experience. Stayed for Milwaukee Summerfest. Free shuttle to and from the fest. Kitchenette in the room. GREAT pub/restaurant in the building with a huge beer selection, fantastic calzones and all around good food. The price of the room is reasonable, but is validated by the free perks and very reasonably priced food, free breakfast, and cheap lobby snacks. I'd recommend it to any family. It's 5 mintues from Miller Park, too. I'll stay here again, no question.

Let me start off by saying the mobile express app is garbage.It took them three hours to respond back to one question when does the pool close. Then the staff recommended a laundromat one block from the hotel . The most unsafe nastiest laundromat I ever seen. 3/4 of the stuff did not work no air just sad. Quit being cheap buy a washer dryer for your Guest !!!

Overall, the room and facility was great. Pool was nice, restaurant had good food, comfortable bed and good shower in the room. Unfortunately, there were some problems. I was traveling with my 8 month old and there were some horribly uncomfortable chairs in that room that made a loud noise whenever you sat on them (something in the cover material). This made nighttime activities with my son (feeding/changing/crying) very difficult. I complained about the chairs, but the staff had no alternatives or solutions. There was also a loud creaking in the ceiling whenever people above us walked around. Again, not good when you have a baby and everyone desperately wants to sleep at night (parents and baby). So, overall great hotel in general, but you might want to think twice and/or ask a lot of questions first if you are traveling with a baby.

Restaurant was great. Parking ok. Not happy about the front desk clerk coming out from behind the back carrying a bong in front of my teenage kids. Breakfast was great but the manager was a little controlling especially with the orange juice machine.

I have stayed here four weeks in the past two years, with one more week coming up in August. What draws me back are the location (walking distance to Miller Park when the Brewers are in town), the friendly and helpful staff, the clean room, the comfortable bed, and the quietness. (I rarely hear other guests, although I do like to have the fan running.) There have been updates to the hotel; even the fitness rooms now has one of the nicest treadmills I have ever used. The only drawback is the limited parking space behind the hotel. I sometimes wonder if I will find a space at the end of the day, but that has not been a problem. I used to stay at other places in Milwaukee, but this is the one to which I keep coming back.

The check in and out process were a breeze and all staff were very knowledgeable including our shuttle bus driver! Complimentary drinks in the lobby and there were many choices for breakfast! Be prepared though that the rooms are fairly small compared to other hotels.

This hotel was great, very close to miller field where the Milwaukee Brewers play. The room was very clean and everything was stocked. Will befinitly recommend to others who are going to a night game and need so where to stay.

We are slowly making our way to different stadiums this years trip was Milwaukee and Chicago so in our search Best Western Milwaukee west seemed to be our best fit. We are a family of 3 the room was great, hotel staff was wonderful and very helpful and amenities were perfect. Great pool and gym as well as amazing free breakfast. The shuttle to and from the game was unexpected and very helpful. Hotel alone was an easy 5 stars, unfortunately the area it's in is less than great so that's why I only gave it 4 stars. If you are visiting Milwaukee for a game 100% stay here, if you are visiting Milwaukee in general and have a car stay here....great little spot!

Hotel staff is excellent!! Rooms are very clean, beds are very comfy, décor is great! The restaurant/bar area is fun & food is excellent and not pricey! I would recommend this hotel for sure! Nick went above and beyond for us!

We arrived at hotel every one was helpful and understanding . Room was clean and bright beds good we asked desk about getting to game they supply a shuttle to and from ball game.Very good rest. on site with good food.

The rooms are decorated to reflect that city of Milwaukee. I found it to be both interesting and attractive. The breakfast was "over the top" for a mid-priced hotel. There was a small problem at check in. We were using a voucher and I didn't have all of the necessary info. Nick sorted it out and got us in quickly. The pool area and hot tub is roomy and the deck is large.

This staff is great both in the hotel and bar. The pool area is big and kept clean. The rooms are nice and clean. I'm glad we stayed here. The location is great.Next time this is were will be stay in.

Our all around stay was amazing, clean hotel, nice relaxing lobby. The staff was very pleasant and everyone we saw went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. The room was very clean and I loved the decor, a great room to just relax in. The pool was clean and very cute. The best part in my opinion was the bar restaurant! The bartender was had was beyond amazing, did everything to make sure you had the best time! The food was amazing, so good even after our meal we got a pizza to take up to the room and it was a great midnight snack. All around we will be back! Also thank you to all the staff working that night and morning, wasn't a long trip but it truly felt like a whole vacation, that you for doing an amazing job!

Once again BW exceeded our expectations. The staff, the lounge the rooms and the amenities. We used all of them. We came for a Brewers game and we used the shuttle service which was the best part. We didnt have to worry about driving or parking. We are definitely looking forward to our next stay there.

This hotel is conveniently located by foot near several great restaurants. Although this hotel is strategically located near the Interstate as well as several highways, it is amazingly quiet. The staff is very helpful. Since my wife and I now have a son who resides in Milwaukee, we plan to return to this hotel as our favorite, go-to hotel whenever we visit our son and his family.

Great place to stay for a Brewers game visit. Walking distance. Great bar and restaurant. Bartenders were very friendly. Nice selection of beer. Fun new way beer is poured. Poor sin from the bottom. Very cool. Roma were very nice and all the staff was Friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived a bit early and were allowed to check in. Erica our host was professional and friendly and a great help in getting us settled. Her knowledge on the local area and happening events smoothed out all of our worries. She also was able to upgrade us to a kitchenette. The rooms were well kept and our stay pleasant. There was a nice restaurant on the grounds of the hotel. We ate there both nights. Free breakfast and parking. It could use more parking places. Was relatively easy to find hotel. More areas in Wilwaukee need to stock DrPepper.

The front desk was beautiful and the two gentlemen the night we checked in were very friendly. Oh my God my son and I loved the room very much and food at the restaurant downstairs was delicious and the breakfast.

Location close to ball park. we probably could have walked. A number of places to eat near by, but had a great dinner at the on-site restaurant. Breakfast had many options. Room was very nice and staff freiendly

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is right by Miller Park, yes, walking distance and has an awesome staff and was extremely clean and comforting. Not really far from anything and a safe area also. Restaurant in hotel is phenomenal and no need to find anything else unless you are looking for sushi or something. Awesome BBQ, Pizza and BEER! I will be staying there again, I guarantee it!

The Best Western Milwaukee West is a great hotel. I was in town for a Brewers game and the location was perfect. Miller Park was in walking distance but they also offered a free shuttle to and from the stadium. Whether traveling to the airport or downtown to see the sights, it was 10-15 minute Lyft rides to wherever. I highly recommend this hotel. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Decided on this location because it was within walking distance from the ballpark. Check-in was quick and easy-- always appreciate the snack/drink they offer upon arrival for being a rewards member. The rooms are modern and newly renovated; very clean. Breakfast was great (eggs; sausage; biscuits and gravy; potatoes etc.) Overall, this is a great BW location. If you're coming for the Brewers game, it is about a mile walk to the ballpark. However, they do offer a shuttle to and from the game as well. The VA Hospital across the street has a nice back path that made it a pretty walk to the game. There is also a great little pizza place downstairs of the hotel. You don't have to travel anywhere for a good meal.

Great location to catch the Lake Michigan Express Ferry from Milwaukee. I was particularly pleased with the helpful staff members (I checked in late and left early!). Next time I'll try to stay longer.

Very nice. Great staff. The break fast was outstanding. Other guests were loud and left a mess for the poor staff. Staff was great. Guy at front desk was terrific and so was the breakfast lady petite little thing that was hustling to endure everything was perfect. I felt bad other guests did not give her a tip.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had wonderful service! The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, all the food was delicious!! The bar prices are not spendy either! I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Our family had an excellent experience with the Best Western from start to finish! We were coming to town for a Brewers game and it was our first family vacation with our daughter. I called the hotel a couple weeks before our stay and spoke to Nick. He was very polite and helpful. He took the time to answer all of my questions about the hotel, the area, and the shuttle service to Miller Park. Upon answering all of my questions, he helped me book the perfect room for our family. We had a kitchenette that came in very handy and we had plenty of floor space for our daughter's pack n play. We had a great time using the pool and dining at the restaurant. When it was time for us to go to the game, we used the shuttle service to get to and from Miller Park. It was very convenient and the driver did an excellent job getting us to Miller Park and back quickly and safely! The breakfast was amazing! I'm a very picky eater but I had no problem finding great options to eat. I've never enjoyed a hotel breakfast so much! The parking seemed a little confusing when we first arrived but we were able to find a spot without any issues. We had a wonderful stay all around! Thank you to Nick and the rest of the staff! I would gladly stay at the Best Western again next time we visit Milwaukee!

Only stayed 1 night, but very impressed with the staff - friendly and efficient. You know it's an older hotel that has been renovated, but for the price, it's a good deal. Pretty clean, comfortable beds and pillows and a very nice breakfast included with your stay.

When I stayed here recently, I noticed that many of the remodels that were being worked on a few months ago have been completed. I liked the changes in the breakfast area. The lobby area has been updated. Our room was immaculate. Everything worked in it to our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at this BW location for our annual trip to see the Milwaukee Brewers. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Good breakfast selections and the new shuttle to the game was great as it was a XX & rainy couple days.

I booked one room for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. This is a well-planned, fully renovated property complete with USB charging ports on the night stand, a trendy color palette in the decor, fluffy white towels, and an exceptional included breakfast. This hotel also wins with its staff. The breakfast team was efficient and friendly, check-in took only moments, and, while I never saw the housekeeping staff, our room was cleaned to perfection. I'd requested a rollaway bed prior to my arrival, and it had already been delivered to the room upon check-in. Do you like fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast? They've got it. How about a yogurt machine with sliced, fresh blueberries and strawberries? That, too. The sturdy walls in the hallway and room doors kept things nice and quiet. Our room also featured a larger fridge, small bar with a sink, basic dishes, dish soap, towels, and a fresh kitchen sponge. There was a small table with two chairs that we used for our own evening happy hour. I didn't take advantage of the on-site restaurant, but was impressed with the size of the bar and cleanliness I observed in the space.

We enjoyed our first stay here, thanks to a great property, super staff, proximity and shuttle to Miller Park, a fun restaurant, and more. Great value! We will most definitely book here again when we're back in town. Ask for a room that isn't on the main drag, if available.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Our family of four took a two hour drive to Milwaukee to check out the colleges and caught a Brewers game. The location of the hotel to Miller Park is within walking distance. We took the free BW shuttle, which was so convenient. The driver (I'm sorry I didn't get his name) was very kind and friendly and easy to find after the game. Melanie was friendly and very helpful at check in and check out. And Erica called our room before we fell asleep to make sure that we knew to move our car to the opposite side of the street due to a city ordinance. The coffee machine in the lobby was great, and the free hot breakfast had many choices and was just what we needed before we left. The room was clean and quiet. If we ever make it back to Milwaukee we will definitely consider staying at the BW West.

This is a great hotel to choose. It is a little difficult to find and the parking is a little limited. It is very close to the baseball stadium. The breakfast is great and the restaurant has some nice choices at low prices. You don't need to leave to enjoy lunch or dinner.

Almost perfect! Parking there is small, otherwise excellent place. Clean rooms, awesome pool and nice whirlpool! Breakfast was good. Friendly staff throughout stay. Nice restaurant in basement, with friendly waitresses!

We normally stay with family or friends when in the Milwaukee area however did not want to drive out to 'burbs this time. Did not even realize it was situated there! In walking distance from the VA Hospital if you have someone there. Also right by Miller Park! Although close to the interstate it was quiet. Very clean. Friendly staff and the breakfast....plentiful with lots of choices! Also is open later if you want to sleep in. We were only there one night. Wish we had more time because the restaurant menu looked good and the pool area looked nice. Great value for the cost!

The staff was really great - kind, helpful, friendly. The hotel is newly-renovated and lovely. The breakfast buffet was top-notch. The location was perfect - especially if you need access to the VA Hospital.

I can't say enough about the location of this property. It is literally minutes from Miller park. The hotel has a lounge serving delicious food and serving up tasty drinks. Hotel staff and lounge staff amazing!!!

Hotel was very clean.. Breakfast had many choices to pick from. Desk people were very courteous and helpful checking us in and out. Had a room next to the street, that was a little noisy with the morning traffic. . Bathroom was a little on the small side.

Great place but if you live within 30 miles of hotel you cannot stay there unfortunately. No one could explain why; it was just a new policy as of April 1 this year. I wish they could make exceptions for those using the VA hospital.

Outstanding staff beyond friendly and helpful, great clen rooms and you couldn't ask for a better location if you come for a Brewer game. Restaurant food was awesome and very reasonably priced. This is a nice, modern hotel close to many attractions in downtown Milwaukee (close to Miller Park, Milwaukee Domes, and just a few miles away from Miller High Life Stadium, Milwaukee Theater, Panther Arena, etc). Modern, clean, and our room was quiet nice...no complaints about the bed, linens or towels. Our room was equipped with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker, flat screen TV. Room was a bit stuffy but the AC worked well. The only issue I found with the room was the bathroom door was very hard to close...it would pop right back open. There's a pizza pub/restaurant in the basement of the hotel which is pretty good, my husband and I each had a sizable calzone for only $5 each. Breakfast buffet is served there in the morning as well, typical hotel fare of powered eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, pastries, cereal, oatmeal, fruit. My husband didn't care for it but I found enough to eat. Coffee was decent. Lobby seemed to have coffee machines up and running 24/7 for free, and had cookies at night. Didn't try the WiFi or TV. Pool are was spacious and looked very clean, however the hot tub was in very poor shape...it was barely as warm as a bathtub, and the jets didn't seem to work. We didn't stay in the pool area very long. If I was in the area again and needed a place to stay I'd try this hotel again, it was very affordable with AAA rate ($95 with tax on a Sunday night).

This hotel was great. The breakfast was tasty and better than most free breakfasts. The room was clean and the staff were friendly! The only downside is the parking. We were lucky to snag the last spot at night but noticed other cars needing to park. Overall, highly recommend!

If your looking for a reasonably prices hotel in downtown Milwaukee look no further. They do a nice job with taking care of your needs at a reasonable price. The breakfast if one of the best I have ever experienced!!

The newly updated hotel is very nice for less then $100/night. The only negative is that you get 2 double beds instead of queens. Bar area was great. Food was great as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

Major noise from air conditioner/furnace. Every 30 sec on then off.could not hear TV, wondered why the best western Milwaukee west offered 3M earplugs by the bedside. Queen size bed jammed in thy o relatively small room

Although we have traveled around the world, since retirement this is our first hotel stay in a year. I was pleasantly surprised by the room. Clean and tidy complete with Wifi, fridge, microwave, a safe (that didn't work), and the normal "extras" one comes to expect. Even ear plugs (2 sets). The breakfast was bountiful with lots of choices. The service all around from housecleaning to the bartender to the front desk was top notch and friendly. For the price, it was a good deal!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and stocked very well. The restaurant had very good food and at the right price. The room service they provided was timely. The heated pool was very clean and at the perfect temperature.

We booked three rooms for a dance competition, and they canceled the rooms without notifying us because we live within a 30 mile radius. Was extremely frustrating. We ended up reserving with a family who lives 31 miles away.

Everything was great! I came down to Milwaukee for a surgery at Froedtert Hospital, the location of the Hotel was great, very close to Froedtert Hospital. The manager that was working that night was so friendly, he made my sister n law and I feel very much at home. He chatted with us some and that was so nice, he made us feel like we were more than customers, that we were real people!! The room was also nice and very clean! I only had one problem with the room, the beds were a little high, I am short and had to do a belly flop to get onto the bed, hee hee, but it gave me something funny to talk about. The whole experience was great and helped me to be more relaxed prior to my surgery!! Thank you Best Western and the friendly manager that was there that night!!

The pool area is huge and has very nice tile work. Just beautiful. The breakfast selection is plentiful with attentive and friendly staff. Would stay here again for sure. Parking is available behind the hotel and I felt safe running out to my car at night.

The hotel itself was very nice and the staff was helpful. The pool was nice and we had it to ourselves the whole time which was nice. My only complaint is that it was noisy when we were trying to sleep. I could hear people walking around in the room above us, doors slamming as people went in and out and people talking loudly in the parking lot. They did provide ear plugs, I'm guessing they must know this is a problem but my kids snagged both pairs. I probably should have called down and requested an extra pair.

Very nice people who work there...hotel will be really nice when they're done renovating. The rooms were done, but they were painting the hallways and redoing the foyer. The breakfast was extremely good...probably the best we've had at a hotel.

Husband booked for Birthday staycation. Room was clean. Oven dirty. Lots of noise at night. The hallway smelled of marijuana. I was supposed to have a birthday lunch the manager of the restaurant informs us that can not accommodate more than 6 people. I had to find another restaurant and let my family know of the change. There was only 9 of us. This manager was very rude did not want our business. I saw 10 white bikers sitting eating in the restaurant. I begin to wonder if it was because of my race she did not want to accommodate us. I am a business owner that could have referred others. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The room was very nice. The bed was cozy. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great and the bartender Thursday night was amazing. I would definitely stay again just to get away.

A very good Best Western, easy parking, good pool and facilities, nice to have a bar and restaurant on-site. Far and away the best breakfast I have had at a BW or any similar class hotel. Recently refurbished, so room was in very good condition.

When we arrived we were too early for our room to be ready, but we had to be somewhere so we told front desk we would check in later. The clerk made every attempt to have our room ready before our Uber arrived, but because that was truly unrealistic, we pre-checked in so when we came back, all we had to do was receive the keys. Awesome experience. Room was very nice, clean and everything was in working order. Beds, even the rollaway, were very comfortable. They have an awesome restaurant/bar in the hotel and the bartender was so friendly and never once lost her smile and was quite possibly the hardest service worker I had ever seen. I wish I could remember her name, but if the hotel reads this, we were there on Saturday, Jan 26th.

It was a great experience. First time there and everything was spot. I definitely recommend that everyone try out the hotel at least once. From the room to the jetted tub and let's not forget about the pool.

I feel like the hotel got overbooked for New Years so the staff was trying to come up with excuses as to why my party wasn't able to stay. He was treating us poorly because we booked through a third party it seemed. At first he said we weren't able to stay because my friend who isn't 21 booked the room even though nothing stopped him from booking it. Then he transferred into my name but refused the payment because the car was in my friends name even though he was right there and willing. So we went and got a prepaid card from Walmart but the card still got denied so we told them to cancel the room and we went else where. When we woke up we found out that they charged us for the room anyways and when we called and talked to them they refused to refund our money. Very poor business if you ask me.

Stay for a night during our recent trip to Milwaukee. With the renovation going on it still kept at a high level of cleanliness. Spacious room, great amenities, huge walking closet, comfortable bed, polite staff, plenty of free parking lot, and a variety of food for breakfast - all at an affordable price.

This Best Western fit our needs perfectly. We were visiting some friends downtown Milwaukee and this was a nice quiet hotel located just south of Miller Park. Newly renovated with nice size rooms as well!

Big surprise, remodeled, all new rooms, great restaurant and bar. Fitness center, pool...all fresh remodeled. Front desk and staff were fantastic. Kudos to Nick who works evenings at front desk. Stayed for 5 days for work, made a business trip pleasant.

Newly remodeled room, nice room, staff very helpful. Construction almost done entry through the front will be nice. Entry into parking was interesting since construction and main parking entry was closed. They have done a lot of work to keep the hotel nice. Breakfast is good and easy.

Loved the layout of the room, and appreciated the large refrigerator and extra sink. The hotel is under renovations and they are looking really nice. The staff worked around the renovations with ease and everything went smoothly. We used the pool once and it was the perfect temp. The breakfast is typical free hotel breakfast and was just ok, but I'm not a breakfast fan anyway so it was fine.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while we explored the city of Milwaukee. The hotel was very nice and clean even though they were doing renovations. The pool area was nice and the breakfast was one of the best complimentary that I've ever had. The hotel is also within 15 minutes of most major attractions in the city. I would certainly stay at this hotel in the future :)

I stay at a hotel four nights per week throughout the year as I am a consultant working on the road. Best Western is my favorite hotel chain. Milwaukee West is an exceptional hotel with great staff, great service, very clean, nicely decorated

This was the 4th hotel I stayed in in Milwaukee + was by far my favorite. Even though the construction on the lobby complicated things, the service + room made up for it. The bed was great. The room had so many unexpected amenities. Hospitality is in the details + this property was spot on.

I regularly travel each week and stay in hotels. It wa by chance I stayed at this hotel. I'm glad I did! Hotel Manager Nick was genuinely friendly and professional. He's observant and personable. He ales you feel like your next door neighbor who's happy to see you. Such a nice guy!The continental/free breakfast was s nice surprise. It's nothing like the usual free breakfast You usually get. ThisHotel had 3 different hot food options, variety of donuts, 4 different kinds of sweet bread, 4 different kinds of fruits, 4 different kinds of fruit juices. As for coffee..there was an espresso machine where you can add a shot to your coffee or if you want a cappuccino, you got it! The pool is large and very clean not cloudy like some. I mentioned some and not all. For the price, this hotel is top notch. You WILL not be disappointed. The title summarizes it all.

Chose this hotel because wasn't to far from Harley Davidson Museum, and what a find, staff were lovely, rooms were spotless, beds really comfy and a good shower,. Pool and hot tub were excellent, as was the small bar and restaurant on site. Parking no problem and plenty of space. Would I recommend it, without a doubt, great value and generally all over brilliant place for a stopover ..

My husband and I stayed here after a concert at the rave. It was very clean, comfortable and had a great breakfast buffet. Totally worth what we paid. The set up of where the hotel rooms are are a little odd (we stayed in 357) but we really enjoyed our stay. After the concert we were able to go to the restaurant and grille that is attached to the hotel for some drinks. That was also very clean. We will stay again FOR SURE next time we are in the area.

Hotel was clean, staff very friendly and willing to help. I got a text after checking in from the hotel and during my stay I could text that number for anything I needed, I appreciate that convenience. Bar and restaurant area nice, affordable, clean and quick service.

We love staying here! This hotel is our number one choice when visiting Miller Park, since its walking distance its perfect! The food is great and the staff are awesome! Their lobby is still under construction but it looks great already!

The staff here went above and beyond to make my aging mother comfortable in the room. They got her a chair she could sleep in and a ottoman too. Very understanding staff. Even though the hotel was under construction it was so quiet you would never know they are working on it. This is a great place to stay if you are taking the ferry across to michigan. Easy drive to the boat. And close to the downtown too.

We chose this hotel to stay for our honeymoon. The room was excellent and we really enjoyed breakfast! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We are from northern Michigan and the people at the check in desk offered suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Very pleased!

Even though this motel is under remodeling, the room and staff were good. It will probably be really nice after it is done. Restaurant and bar were very nice. Pizza was really good. Breakfast was good also.

The hotel is being refurbished at the moment. The lobby was being done when we were ther, so will be lovely when it's finished. The bedrooms are large and beautiful and have lots of drawers and hanging space for clothes. The bathroom is also a good size. Our bedroom had a queen sized bed which was a bit small, but very comfortable. The self service breakfast is ok, but not special. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes drive from the third district and the city hall. It's near enough to all the main attractions.

Was a bit disappointed as I was put right near the lobby and there was banging and hammering on arrival and banging and hammering in the morning..was trying to get the little bit of work in and impossible. Other hand, breakfast Amazing!!! Front desk young man was the sweetest you can find, huge smile, as wide as can be, cool dude.

I have stayed in a few motels in the Milwaukee, for the price this was probably the best,clean and updated motel, very nice complimentary breakfast and the bar restaurant had good choices with very reasonable prices, great location, walked to Miller park.

So my wife booked this room for my birthday to stay with our 2 year old and 2 friends, the website she booked this room advertised it as a 2room suite. When we got to the property the outside resembled a prison and there was nowhere to park. When we went inside it was under heavy construction. When we got to the room it wasnt a suite at all it was a tiny room with 2 tiny full beds. I immediately called the front desk and explained this wasnt ehat we reserved and the woman was extremely rude and snapped that it was non refundable. Our 2 friends arrived shortly after and they were bummed but we tried to make the best of the situation. Then to our horror a giant almost cat sized rat scurried across the floor. I called down to the desk and the rude woman said we dont have rats at our hotel. But they would send maintenance up. They never came so it was up to us to dispose of the rat. It gets worse when I was trying to sleep I felt things crawling on me, so I turned the light on and they were 3 horrible looking spiders in my bed. I wouldn't reccomend this place to my worst enemy, unclean, rude staff zero stars

This was a nice location within all the sights. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the indooor pool and spa. The rooms have been updated and are very nicely decorated. We were on the third floor and it was quiet. Not much traffic noise. Overall, our stay was nice. We would recommend this location to families, couples, or for business dealings in the city.

Staff very friendly. Willing to answer my questions regarding the neighborhood. We did have 2 cars, so one had to park on street. The room was very spacious. Only downfall was full size bed instead of queen. Great place to stay if going to a Brewer game. About a 20 minute walk to the stadium.

My family and I stayed here so I could run the Milwaukee Brewers Mini marathon. This was a great hotel. Walking distance to Miller Park, very friendly staff, great pool facilities, nice clean rooms , great breakfast and even though they were renovating, still an excellent hotel experience!

Lobby still under renovation so I can't judge on that - looks like it'd be neat. Overall great if you're looking to walk to Miller Park. Didn't utilize pool but saw it from the parking lot through windows and it looked decent. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking is a little tight so prepare for that.

This is a hotel with a manager that goes well beyond any guests' expectations. !! From the moment we checked in on Sunday, he was there to be sure everything was great;. He was so young that I really had no idea who he was. As our time there continued, he seemed to be everywhere, checking to be sure everything was being taken care of; His name is Nick Jacobs and BW should know what they have in him. The problem is when he was off on Tues. and Wed., everything did a complete 180. From breakfast service, to our room not being serviced, to the night clerk's attitude when I told her of the problem, it was a completely different place. So, as far as proximity to Miller Park and downtown it is a great place to stay ! Just try to avoid Tues and Wed.

Walking distance to Miller Park and to a nice little bar/restaurant called 4th Base. Bar in hotel is also quaint and the pizza there is wonderful. Quiet hotel. Friendly staff and nicely priced. Would use this hotel again

Staff was very friendly, rooms clean. Enjoyed our stay. Will use again. We have a wedding in June in Milwaukee and will use this Best Western then. I have let my friends family know the wonderful experience we had. Breakfast was grea. The lounge/bar had a nice atmosphere and the food was great.

The room was clean and recently renovated, small but cozy. Felt the earplugs by the bed were there for a reason, the street noise was loud. Had trouble finding parking space each day due to the renovations underway. Someone was on the third floor above us walking back and forth for about an hour..very noisy. I know the hotel can't control that, but it was annoying. Breakfast was good with different offerings each day. Would have given a 4 if not for the work going on.

Very nice property. Good location with very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Well above average breakfast with meats and the usual fruits/pastry selections. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is current renovations.

Clean, modern room. Hotel was under renovation but that did not affect us on the 2nd floor. Loved all the little extras (earplugs by bed, night light in bathroom, clean remote, makeup remover in bathroom. We also checked out too early to take advantage of breakfast so front desk staff sent "to go bag" with granola bars, apples and water. What a nice touch!

The price was great, once I booked online, the lady at the desk refused to honor the price until i booked online. Other than that she was friendly and helpful. Pool was nice. it is a shared facility with an accompanying building, but there were no issues.

Despite being under renovations, the hotel was centrally located for Miller Field, and having a restaurant onsite was great. The breakfast selection was second to none! The room itself was very spacious and comfortable as well.

Location is good, easy access, rooms fresjly refirbished, nice restaurant/bar attached, good bang for the buck! Only short term issue was the parking, due to extensive renovation on the outside of the hotel.

I have never been to Milwaukee so I wasn't too sure where to stay but I know Best Western so we booked this hotel for 5 nights We needed a place to stay while we moved our son into Marquette University. Our experience at this hotel was good, the staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is going through improvement so there were some inconveniences with parking, doors being closed off and the lobby be under construction but we worked around all of this. The area is okay--but I wouldn't feel safe walking around at night plus there aren't any stores nearby but if you want to attend a Brewer's baseball game this is an excellent place to stay! The stadium is located up the street.I appreciated the free breakfast but felt there was a lack of fresh fruits and/or low calorie options. Overall, the room was clean, the staff nice, the breakfast decent and the location good. If needed, I would stay here again.

I always choose best western when I can. My group of coworkers was rather large but check in process was a breeze. Attentive staff and comfortable beds. Welcome gift for diamond select members was nice compared to other hotels I've stayed at.

We stayed here on a visit to Milwaukee to see a Brewers baseball game. Booked it through Orbitz and after reading the reviews there decided it would meet our needs. It was listed as a two star hotel, but ratings on both Orbitz and Trip Advisor were primarily four stars. They are in the middle of updating the exterior but I believe that the interior has been recently remodeled. Our room wasn't ready so we were given an upgrade to a suite. Our room very nice with completely updated furnishings and was very clean. The light fixtures and all the electronics were quite modern with many options for charging your personal items. All of the staff that we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The primary reason for picking this hotel was the proximity to Kelly's Bleachers so we could get their free shuttle to the game. We will definitely be back, this hotel certainly deserves more than a two star rating.

My visit was soured from the beginning. Large scale construction underway which included replacing building facia. After the fact it was pointed out to me they had it posted on their website. Well i didnt reserve from there website so found out only when i arrived. Was required to allow them a copy of my drivers licence or leave when i registered. Next morning while changing in my room looked to window(i was on 2nd floor) to see contruction worker on boom platform looking at me through my window.i complained to manager and management at best western headquarters. I received a very condecending reply from hotel manager which was completely unsatisfactory. My strong recommendation is to avoid the site. 1st the cinstruction which they make an effort to hide during e- reservations, secondly for the hotel policy requiring you to allow them to copy your id. Couple hours after i checked out, i received a call from gentleman in california(3500 miles away) to inform me he wsd emsiled a copy of my hotel invoice. I wsd infuriated at their lack of identity security. Finally, their complete lack of respect to me as a client during and after my stay. I will avoid any stays at best western and their affiliated partners.

Even though the hotel was under construction and we lost power several times as well as there was alot of construction pounding behind our room, the stay was very comfortable and felt very safe. Loved having the restaurant downstairs for breakfast and a quick meal when we were running short of time. Would stay here again when we are in the area. All the area was extra clean including the pool area. A special thank you to Jackie and Nick, who took a special interest in our being comfortable and having everything we needed. Thanks Beast Western Milwaukee West...Lord willing we will be back.

Booked a queen room, received a full. Told the front desk about the mistake and was told "sorry, we only have doubles. The rooms won't fit bigger beds." Really? Then why are queens available when making reservations? If you're selling those rooms, then you should have them. And the box springs are incredibly loud any time someone moves. My concerns were dismissed with a "Sorry you aren't impressed. "

Had a great time here. Thank You to all the Employees that I came into contact with. You all did a wonderful job. Will definately stay here if we are back for another Brewers game. I had seen where people had complained about parking and I could see why. But, we took into consideration that there is construction going on around the building. Plus you need to factor in that the Hotel gets sold out.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze as I used the advanced check in. The room was adequate size, The bed was very comfortable and the shower was HUGE! The outside noise was minimal. Overall, it is a great place to stay!

This Best Western is the best place to stay when visiting Miller Park. It is about a 5 block walk to the right field entrance. After the game you can also enjoy a brew at the bar at the hotel too. They are remodeling the front of the building and it should look great when finished.

Great time in Milwaukee, lot to see! Harley Davidson museum, Pabst mansion, lake front, and many more great locations. I would recommend this stop for anyone who likes history of the Midwest and Wisconsin.

The carpet in the room was wet! We thought it was because of the remodel carpet cleaning signs, NOPE! Carpet cleaners hadn't been there yet! YUCK! Was bombarded by 3 men in the am to "clean" the carpet while I was in the room! They didn't even do a thorough job, what a joke! The windows to the hotel across the road looked right into our room! Bathroom floor wasn't swept! WE LEFT a day early & went to a different NICE HOTEL! The only good experience was the daytime concierge. Not sure where the other reviews come from!

We stayed for two nights. Walked to the ballpark both days. It was a very nice walk with a few nice bars along the way! The hotel staff was friendly & knowledgeable. The restaurant in the lower level has good food, drinks, & bartenders. There was a city block power outage for about 4hrs in the AM, no fault of the hotel!!!, and the staff did everything they could to eat us anything we needed! We hope to visit again soon!

This hotel shares a parking lot with a apartment building, behind the hotel. Upon arriving there where people in the parking lot drinking large beers, begging for money and cigarettes. Will NOT recommend.

Probably the most misleading property description I have ever experienced. The exterior is going through renovations so that needs to be taken into consideration. The rooms have been updated in the past year however I just don't understand, with the large size of the rooms, why they went with double beds. And folks, I honestly doubt they are actually doubles because they're so small. My wife and I are average sized people and it was laughable how small the bed was. Although the room was renovated, there is an exhaust fan mounted on the side wall of the shower and the tile job was very poorly done. THE WORST PART was the room above ours. The floors squeeked so badly when they were walking around up there that it woke us up and we had to turn up the volume on the TV at times. I've never heard that at a hotel. The breakfast was undesirable. They had no pancake mix and the eggs were swimming in liquid. It was so unappealing we left and ate at IHOP down the street. We have stayed at many, many Best Westerns over the past 20 years and this is the only one we will not return to.

This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was me, my 3 kids who are 9, 7, and 4 and my dad who is in his 70's. We stayed a week and used the pool everyday, which was my kids favorite part of the vacation. It was very nice and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing and even better that it was included. I also love that the breakfast was served a little later than most hotels and there was so many choices. The kids favorite was the pancake maker. We also used the room service and ordered a pizza which was also good. The only thing that could make it better is the parking but there isn't much they could do about that. Just have to make sure you come back to the hotel earlier. I had to park far away one night and walk back to the hotel.

Had a nice stay here. Hotel is a bit out of downtown, you need about 30 minutes by bus (bus stop is just a few steps from hotel). Breakfast is good. Everything you need is usually there (hot and cold food and drinks). Hot food varies daily. Rooms are clean and staff is very helpful

I booked this hotel due to the close proximity to Miller Park and the good reviews. Well this was an experience that we won't soon forget I had called a week earlier and asked if we could possibly get an early check-in as we were meeting friends on a tour. We arrived to check-in at 1:30 and was told by the man at the front desk that"No, this was not possible"! Even though he was rude,I explained the situation, he said we had requested a king size bed and that was impossible right now. My husband asked if anything else was ready, that we take that and he said no and he was not rushing anyone to clean, So we left and checked in at 7:00 and when we got to the room, the phone was nowhere to be found remote for tv was missing, smoke alarm beeping.Good job cleaning! The next morning the electric went out. My husband was in the shower and hollered to me to get the shampoo, and no shampoo in the bathroom.Electric out, so walked 3 flights of stairs down to front desk for shampoo and back up. They said everyone had better get breakfast now before it gets cold, the hotplates were electric. So people in the hotel were getting their food and eating in the dining area or taking it to their room. I got mine first and took it up to the room and then my husband went and when he started back up to the stairs, someone in hotel service hollered at him and said he couldn't take a glass plate to the room when myself and others already had, he slipped on the stairs and fell. Skinned his knee and shin bone.my husband is 67 years old. He had to keep getting bandaids from the hotel to keep it from bleeding on his clothes.The sheets were not changed for 3 days, I had to ask for soap, nothing was ever replaced. when I complained about the sheets, all I heard was Its a green hotel!!!! We were told that we would get a credit to our bill for all the issues,so I asked the same rude guy that we talked to when first tried to check-in, when we checked out about the credit and he said he would ask the manager at 2:00. We did get two different credits, but doesn't add up to even one nights stay. We asked to have him e-mail a copy of the revised bill, never did. I had to call my credit card company to find out the bill! I contacted BW customer service about all of this and the manager was supposed to contact us,never did. But he told them he did. I will say the restaurant and breakfast food is very good at this hotel, but we will never stay there again!

We chose the hotel based on location the room was great it had just been remodeled and was very clean and beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was so good lots of choices in food and beverages We would definitely stay there again

The hotel is under renovation but in all honesty it didn't affect our stay what so ever. Nick at the front desk was excellent to deal with and so helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Parking is full every night but we always found a spot no problem. The room we had was a king room and was excellent. Staff were great! We eat in the Pub downstairs pizza and wings were great. Had the Rueben sandwich very good couldn't eat all the fries. The staff (Brooke, Julia) were great and a ton of laughs. We met a lot of ball fans over a beer or two, and had fun and laughs. The hotel is close to the ball park and is an easy walk. Go right out of the property to the second set of lights cross the street and walk to the stadium. Lots of people walk to the games NO concerns or worries with safety at all. We recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go to the Brewers ball games.

Love staying at Best Western and this was no exception. Within walking distance to Miller Park.Even though there were external renovations going on, it didn't hamper anything. The room was wonderful, spacious and comfortable, complete with a kitchenette and jetted tub. Service was great, from the front desk to the bar service. Breakfast was good, numerous choices. After reading other reviews I was concerned about the parking, but it was not an issue at all. The only downfall was that the in room internet was slow, which was unusual. Overall a great place, I will stay again

We stayed for two nights during Summerfest. The room was great, the staff were helpful. Breakfast was pretty good as well. We used the pool and hot tub and enjoyed it. Even though they were in the midst of remodeling, the say went very well!

Great place to stay, close to Miller Park. Close to shopping as well, if needed. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. There was some work going on outside of the building but we were on the 3rd floor and didn't hear it at all. The only negative is elevator is small but it does the job.

New, modern and the most efficient, polite and knowledgeable staff. Easy check in and check out. Comfortable seating at breakfast. The roms and halls were quiet, several children in the building for a wedding and only knew they were during breakfast.

We will stay again soon, if rooms are available, The restaurant has a very GOOD pizza!! PS, do not let the outside construction scare you!! Its a good place to stay when going to a ball game at Miller Park!!

We stayed here while visiting our son, who just moved to downtown Milwaukee. They are renovating the exterior of the building, but it didn't affect our stay at all. Our room was updated and beautifully decorated. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There is a restaurant downstairs with a delicious and free breakfast buffet. They had 2 kinds of eggs, 2 kinds of potatoes, sausage, pancakes, bagels, english muffins, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and various juices and hot drinks. This was actually the best hotel breakast we've ever had. The restaurant / bar is also open in the evening and serves a variety of foods. This was a nice hotel at a great price. We plan to stay here again in the future.

Despite the renovations being made, we really enjoyed our stay mostly because of the excellent staff and the location from Miller Park (out walk there was only about 20 min.). We had a few minor issues that were handled courteously from the wonderful staff who always greeted us with a smile.

Loved this hotel! Only a mile from Miller Park. Our room had a small kitchenette which was a nice surprise. Our room was so modern and beautiful as was the entire interior of the hotel. Pool was bigger than an average hotel pool. The large beach towels found in room were perfect Staff was over the top friendltly! We enjoyed the resteraunt and lounge too! Breakfast was Ok! But worth the stay We will be back next year!

We booked the hot tub room and we were delighted to have that tub. It was wonderful! The hot breakfast had great variety and the hot food was hot! We always book a hotel with hot breakfast. Its nice to eat in house versus finding a restaurant elsewhere. The Bar/ restaurant downstairs is also a plus! Food was excellent and the service was as well.

Nicely decorated & rooms were very clean. Delicious free hot/cold breakfast items every morning. Our only complaint was the parking lot - doesn't seem to be enough spaces - we had to park in the street.

I was in Milwaukee for my daughter graduation. Was the first time there and this hotel make me all very easy and comfortable. I check in late and they already had all my stuff to help me very fast. The employee was very kind, the room was very pretty and clean. The breakfast was a mega plus, different foods (Egg, sausage, bacon, donuts, breads, pancake, coffee, juices, even yogurt!!). I recommend this place to eat too. The calzone and the hamburger was so so so good. Place is very secure, it has a Target and a Walmart walking distance. If you look a place to stay in Milwaukee, choose this hotel. I recommend it!!!!

We stayed here for 2 nights, there were pros and cons. We arrived and had a difficult time locating the entrance because it is under construction and blocked off completely. There were no signs or anything indicating how to get into the hotel. After about 15 minutes we found the back alley and parked, parking is very small and tight. Then we had a hard time finding how to actually get into the hotel, thankfully one of the construction workers told us if we pressed a button on the doors we could get in. After checking in we got to our room and it was small and tight! So small that it was difficult for my daughter and me to walk side by side at the end of the beds. I wish I had taken a photo to show how small the space is between the beds and the desk/dresser. However, it was adequate for what we needed for a couple nights. The beds are pretty high off the ground, my 5 year hold had a hard time getting up by herself, but they were comfortable. There were also plenty of pillows, we usually have to request more but this time we didn't. Our first night we ate off property and when we got back we used the pool. When we walked in we were hit with the smell of chlorine, it was very strong! We were down there for about an hour before people started coming in from the attached apartments. It wouldn't have been a problem but they were drinking and swearing loudly, I didn't want my daughter around that so we left. The next morning we got up and ate breakfast, it was a good variety and all hot and fresh! My daughter had the pancakes and loved the automatic pancake maker. There were quite a few topping choices available, it was a nice change from the usual butter and syrup! She chose strawberries, chocolate chips and whipped crème! I tried the oatmeal but it was way too watery so I ended up with the yogurt, some fruit and toast. My husband had the eggs, potatoes, sausage and a bagel. Loved the variety of beverages offered, not just your standard coffee, orange juice and apple juice. That night we ate at the onsite restaurant and it was great! Service was quick and friendly. The pretzel was HUGE! It was easily a meal for the 3 of us, however we had ordered pizza and a steak sandwich so we packed up 3/4 of the pretzel and ate it later in our room. The pizzas were delicious cooked perfectly! I don't know if we would stay here again, the issues with the entrance and the size of the rooms was a turn off. But it wasn't a huge deal, just an inconvenience.

I was in Milwaukee for one night for a concert (Steven Wilson @ the Pabst Theater). When I first arrived I noticed the renovation construction going on. When I checked in I asked for a room away from the construction and was accommodated. Room was decent and clean, had it's own kitchen plus an in-room safe but upon entering I noticed the room was a little hot and stuffy. Tried the air conditioner and it did not work. I informed the front desk and they said they were upgrading the electrical systems so the A/C was not currently functioning. Also I was kept awake by noisy guests in the room directly above me. This is an older building so it's not as soundproofed as newer properties. Fortunately, earplugs were provided in the room. Very good continental breakfast selection although the pancake maker was not working properly. Had to call over an attendant twice to get it going. Despite the issues I'd stay here again next time I'm in town for a concert.

Comfy king bed made for a great night's rest. Staff was friendly and always had a smile when approaching the front desk. Rooms were clean and it was nice to know that they sanitize the TV remote each day.

Here to check on a sick relative in short notice. The front desk gentleman when we checked in was so nice and helpful. It snow s while we were there and the same young man came out and cleaned off our car so that we could leave.

Overall, the experience went well and nice accommodations. Room was attractively decorated, modern, and the bathroom was very clean and spotless. Breakfast was excellent with dozens of choices; internet was okay speed; and despite very busy location it was fairly quiet.

I have a complaint about the Best Western located at 5501 National Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin I live in Iowa. My mother passed away two weeks ago. Every year at Christmas my mother would host a pizza party for the whole family. I contacted this Best Western and spoke with Matthew the manager of National Pizza located on premises. I explained that I wanted to host a pizza party after my mother's funeral on April 17th for about 30 people. It would require the restaurant opening about two hours ahead of their normal opening. Matthew said absolutely - just check in with him when I checked into the hotel. I then made my reservation for a room through national reservation desk. Nick, the local manager called me later that evening. I drove almost 7 hours through a blizzard to get to Milwaukee. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk so I went into the pizza restaurant to speak with Matthew. I was advised that he had been let go two days prior. I was told to speak with Julia. I did and she informed me that they don't open until 3 pm. I fussed at her that I had an arrangement. She just kept insisting they don't open until 3 pm. I asked is there no way? She replied no. I went up to the lobby to speak with Nick. His only option was that I not check in at all. After having driven 7 hours through a blizzard I was not interested in getting back in my car to try and find someplace to accommodate me. There was absolutely NO customer service.

I was out here for work and stayed at a different major hotel for the week but unexpectedly had to stay another day. I found the best western. The breakfast that is offered here is better than any other hotel I've stayed at.

We stay at this hotel every time to go to Miller Park! The hotel staff is great and the rooms are always nice! We love hanging out at the bar downstairs before and after the games. If you want good service, ask for Janette she's awesome! If you want crappy service then Matt is your guy. Unprofessional, rude and not friendly at all. I want to give a 5 because everything else about this hotel is great but he nearly ruined the high we had from winning Friday night :( and what's up with no pizza after 11pm?

Love this location and the hotel, my husband and I have been coming here for the last 10 years for Brewer games. They have a couple of new staff members in the bar lounge area and they were very disrespectful. Was not very welcoming like it always has been in the past.

We traveled to Milwaukee to see the Chicago Cubs play the Milwaukee Brewers. This hotel was very close to the ballpark. The rooms were updated and clean and the breakfast good. We would stay here again.

We had a great experience from hotel room to restaurant, free breakfast which was incredible. The location was perfect as we went to the Brewers game and it was only 1 mile away. We could have walked to the game if we were not tailgating. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Proximity to Miller Park and V.A. Med Center is very handy. The hotel, our room, lounge/restaurant and pool area were clean. Nick, at the front desk, was very helpful and efficient at check-in. Bar/restaurant staff was efficient and fun. The two entrees we ordered were cooked properly and delicious. The pizza looked and smelled yummy. From National Avenue, there is no left turn onto Miller Park Way, so check at hotel for best route into Miller Park, don't assume! Parking lot is small.

Think again if you're in the Milwaukee area. Upon check-in the room wreaked of smoke. It was opening day of baseball so all the rooms were booked. When we went to use the shower the soap was left in the room from the previous renter and the floor was very sticky. The next morning we discovered glass that was broken on the bathroom floor. When I asked the manager to come up she said it would take 30 minutes for maintenance of housekeeping to come in and clean up the area. Needless to say most of my family didn't even use the showers due to the filthy condition. I could over hear the conversation from the GM to her district manager and she said that we lied about the soap because it did not have the "Best Western" logo on it. In my 20 years of hotel management and travels this is the worst place yet! We will not be coming back due to safety concerns of wires hanging down from the ceiling where the smoke detector was supposed to be.

I have stayed here on business since last spring, weekly for 2-3 days at time. Never had an issue. Always a good stay. Service personnel are excellent. Facility is very good. Location is very satisfactory. Easy to access from freeway.

The hotel has a great staff, perfect location that is close to everything. Accessible by public transportation, onsite parking, pool and restaurant onsite. Downtown, Walker's Point, Third Ward, Grand Ave and plenty of places to eat are just a short drive from the hotel. VA Hospital and Clinic short walk.

This hotel has obviously been updated- the rooms and bathrooms are quite lovely and comfortable. The pool was large and in good condition- beautiful tile around the pool, with plenty of seating and tables on the pool deck. The breakfast was nice and varied, although my son was hoping for plain scrambled eggs, but there weren't any. He enjoyed the pancake machine, though- I hadn't seen one of those before. There was a good assortment of breads, muffins, bagels, croissants, donuts, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, biscuits and gravy, sausages, tortillas, and a hash brown scramble. There was a coffee machine with a big variety of flavors, and 4 different juices. Very nice. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. One complaint was that the walls were definitely not soundproof- we could hear people's doors closing noisily. But it wasn't a problem when we were trying to go to sleep. Also- the laminated information cards in the room state that there are pool towels available in the pool area, but there aren't. They are actually in the closet in the rooms, so the cards need to be updated. Fairly minor issue.

We have stayed at this location several times, but this time it will likely have been our last. Despite the friendly service in the reception, the breakfast area and in the lounge and restaurant, the noise from the parking lot and the people who walked non-stop like elephants above us was too much this time. Also, we had an upgraded king room with a lovely kitchen, but the huge room lacks useful furniture. The tiny round table outside the kitchen is good for nothing much. There is no desk and chair. There is no dresser or furniture for luggage. The room has one small lounge chair with no foot rest. There were no luggage racks. The two reading lights next to the bed our ultra-modern in style with no shades. The bright lights are annoying. The room is huge but really needs practical furniture.

At the cost for this hotel, I have never had a better hotel experience. Ever. The staff was amazing. Nick, who manages the night shift, was professional and above my expectations in customer service. The complementary breakfast was unbelievable; the selection, cleanliness, and staff were above and beyond anything I've ever experienced at any hotel anywhere. The pool and hot tub were superior. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and stylish. The location is excellent for Milwaukee area! Safe, relatively quiet (especially with the complementary ear plugs), and close to everything. From now on, I will be staying at this hotel every time I visit Milwaukee.

From trying to book on line and having it messed up. I called in to the hotel itself. I booked two rooms. Plans changed and when I tried to cancel one room. They told me it had been done thru bookings.com. who has no records of this transaction. Then they told me it was a pre-approval paid room and promptly billed my credit card. ( This was a month after I booked it, how was it prepaid? ) The person in the other room did make it. Then when we get there the manager tells me he is giving us $20 off per room, for the miss understanding. That never happened. I was upgraded to a different room, never asked for it, didn't care I only wanted a place to sleep. Room 1 had an empty beer box sitting in the closet. Nice cleaning. She also got someone pounding on her door at 3 am. Room 2, big, TV remote only worked from 4' away. Room was dirty. Floors not clean. Also it's next to an alley, by an apartment complex . 2 nights in a row when the bar let's out it becomes a scream fest from the drunk. The parking is pathetic. You fight for a spot with the apartment or park on the street. The wifi is so slow it's not worth the try. The general manager asked about my stay. I told her I would rather not say. I wasn't going to make anymore issue out if it. She insisted. I told her. She instantly coped an attitude. I asked how she was the GM when the other guy told me he was? She kept saying it was a bookings.com problem and they upgraded me. Like that was some big deal. I spent less than 6 hours a day in the room and that was to sleep. The bed was like concrete. She then told me the other room was compensated for not cleaning. I never asked for it. But I also never got it. The hotel is in a horrible area. Residential, busy road, no parking. The part that's even more poorer, is the management. The GM, doesn't care one bit. She will try to appease you just to get you to go away. Then not follow up on it. Had she not insisted , I was willing just to be quiet and go away

We are from this city and this is by far the best hotel that we have stayed thus far that is quiet, clean, staff are courteous, pool is clean, room is clean and bed is comfortable. I will recommend it for a nice get away.

Don't stay hear unless you want a terrible night's sleep, hearing police knock on your neighbor's door at midnight, and unhelpful management who accuses you of things you never said and ultimately puts the blame on you. Never staying here again.

We stayed the night after an event downtown. Easy short trip to and from downtown. Hotel staff very friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Hot breakfast with pancake machine. Pool and hot tub area nice. We will stay again.

Easy access from the freeway,convenient to the VA and Miller Park.Very nice accommodations,rooms are adequate with a small kitchen area.The beds were a little soft for my comfort but I have had a lot worse

Excellent value for the price. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi actually works too. Breakfast was an actual hot meal with pancakes, hashbrowns, sausage, and bacon. Only minor thing was the "queen" beds are actually full.

We were really surprised how close this was to downtown and discovery that you could practically hit Miller Park with a stone. We will definitely be back to watch the Cubbies beat up on the Brewers! Also tooo very close to Potawatomi (unfortunately. (:-)

Booking here was last minute since the Hilton hotel lost our reservation. It was half the cost and the staff was excellent only issue was the bartender Jeanette she was very rude and always made sure I was last to be served which is sad but hey despite her my experience with the hotel was great along with the other awesome staff this is now my get away spot and it's close to home so convenient considering I ride the bus. I recommend this hotel to anyone oh and FYI pool and jacuzzi area is off the chain

Updated hotel, staff is amazing and helpful. Easy free parking. The bar and grill has really good food and prices are good. The hotel upgrades are great, compare to the last time I stayed here around 3 years ago. I definitely recommend it. ??

Beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Hot tub wasn't working and would prefer breakfast to start a little earlier so I can eat before work but overall will definitely stay here again. I work in Milwaukee and travel every week and I have found for the price and quality I can't get anything better

This hotel was very nice. It looked like it was recently renovated and it was very clean. The bathroom had a deep jetted tub! The staff were friendly and helpful. Internet worked well and had a great system if you needed to print documents from your room! The only small ding was I could hear the floor above me creaking whenever they walked around upstairs. Not a big deal though. The breakfast overall was fantastic. The only negative I would give is the pancakes were little rubber discs but everything else was very good. They had the best selection I've seen in a long time. I really loved the fact that they gave you the option to use real dishware vs just disposable. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Milwaukee!

So many issues while we stayed for the weekend. The fire Alarms going off and pounding on floors. parking lot is a so bad no were to park and getting out when you do find a parking spot is a nightmare. front desk staff was poorly dressed ( one lady had her shirt to big or not put on right could see her bra and shoulder was exposed when clearly that not how the shirt was supposed to be) not friendly at all ,keys were a problem and the front desk lady said well a man build this hotel in the middle of a parking lot what did you expect just keep trying it will work after a while, housekeeping and breakfast crew were wonderful and nice , the breakfast food had a nice selection and the pool /whirlpool was nice but doesn't cancel the negative of this hotel. the elevator and bathrooms are really small and they should really look into a ram or something to pool room as if stairs are a problem it's hard to get to the pool room due to stairs being your only option.bar and grill restaurant well no menu to be found in room and front desk has none either and the bar has paper written on one but not enough for a table of 7. Had a issue with bar comes in they ask if all my kids are wearing shoes due to my daughter on her robe on her as we had just got done swimming and she was cold i said yes they are all wearing shoe and she asked if i was placing an order to go back to the room i said was looking to eat down here with my family she looked around there were three empty tables to our left and a entire back lounge area empty gives me a dirty look and says well i guess i could put those tables together so i put menu back on bar and told her we would just get food somewhere else and went to walk away were she got a attitude and said to another guest all because i asked her if her kids had shoes so i turn around and made it clear it was not because you asked if they had shoes it was the attitude of this place ,it was the attitude we got because my family wanted to eat in the hotel restaurant and not try to eat in a small room. got to the elevator and the employee working the bar/grill said she was sorry and wanted us to eat there she pretty much explained that this isn't really set up for family but was willing to let us my kids were hungry so we try it out even though i was still very upset , she forgot my drink and the burgers were so gross they smelled like old grease that need to be changed(burger had fried mushrooms on it) my son didn't eat it and she took them off the receipt the pizza was good and prices were bad. i appreciate her trying after the fact but if you are apart of a hotel were family stay you should treat them as well as you do your other guest not like a inconvenience .
