Best Western Chieftain Inn

It was great, the staff were nice and helpful. The location is perfect, and everything is close by. The breakfast is also good and I love their cookies in the evenings. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting any nearby places.

This Best Western hotel was not only affordable, it was clean, spacious, and the amenities were top-notch for the price. The beds were a bit soft, but that was okay. The sound proofing in the room was pretty good and there wasn't much road noise evident in the room. The staff working during our stay were exceptional - especially Katey. The breakfast provided was excellent and the breakfast choices were always hot and plentiful. We would definitely stay again at this hotel.

The Inn was lovely, wonderful breakfast lovely rooms, and Katy at the desk was exceptional. She was lovely, helpful and personable. 5 stars for Katy!! It was great they has an excersice room and a full breakfast. So happy we stayed there.

We travel there for a golf tournament and our experience was great! we had no issues with breakfast and our room was always clean when we came back! We will come back here again next year! thank you..

This was not the typical stay at a Best Western, don't stay at this one. The 1st room they assigned us to was next to the exercise room, it had a strong smell of cigarettes. It was like staff had been smoking in there. My husband and handicapped son have asthma, so I asked for a different room. The second room smelled of stale cigarettes and cat feces. But the smoke was not as strong as the first room. Knowing that the place was full and didn't have an elevator I didn't try to ask for another room. After sleeping on the opposite side of the bed from the lamps between the beds, with my face toward the wall, I realized it wasn't cat (s?it) that I smelled, it was vomit!! I was so upset. I tried to deal with the odor by making my son sleep on "that" bed the second night. My white socks were black on the bottoms after walking on the carpet, and because my son didn't wear socks the bottom of his feet were black. What made things even more disgusting was the bottom of the white tub went from white to black when showering, it was caused from walking on that carpet! The rest of the room felt clean, and the toilet would barely flush. I left very upset and brought it up to the front clerk. She said she would tell the manager...no contact back from him so it appears she did NOT make them aware of my concerns or that this was a common practice that no one was willing to correct. I am a member of Best Western and have NEVER ever stayed in one this awful.

Service great, very clean, excellent staff. Rooms are older, but clean and not worn out. Pool family friendly and outside. Room rate is the best around for a clean, friendly older hotel. I have stayed here many times iver the last 10 years.

We needed a place for an overnight stay and this BW filled the bill. The hotel is older but has been updated. The walls were a little thin ( heard the guy next door snoring) but overall a good experience at a fair price. Breakfast was delicious!

From my first call to book a room with a very nice and friendly Sara to the check out with Jasmine another very nice person everything was great at the hotel. Our check in was very smooth. The room was great very large with microwave and fridge with freezer. The bed was a king very clean sheets and very comfortable. The shower worked great one of the best showers I have had at any hotel. The breakfast was great they had everything from scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, cereal and oatmeal and many other great choices., Also lots of free parking. Would stay here again for sure

Good location for us. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Room keys had to be reset quite a few times. Lost the satellite feed a few times so no tv or internet. Pool was good. Front desk staff was a little preoccupied. All in all not the worst place to stay.

The staff was friendly and respectful. The breakfast was okay but the coffee was fabulous especially since they had different creamers to try out. Will be coming again some time soon. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was a very disappointing stay, especially for a Best Western. The rooms were shabby and threadbare, the views were non-existent, the noise (pool heater) was horrendous. Breakfast is endurable, but be early, they close it down before end time.

Breakfast was great! and we always enjoy talking to hope when we see her in the morning! We enjoyed the pool outside especially when its 90 degrees, House keepers did a great job cleaning our room!!!!

Nice and clean rooms! Clean pool! This is a clean property overall! The staff were friendly and helpful as well. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, which is always appreciated for convenience! The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that the pillows are awful. They are smaller than standard and are very lumpy, like they were stuff with cotton balls. I live in the state, so next time I'll be bringing my own pillow! Lol

Sticky stuff on bathroom door. Pool was filthy. No filtration. Hot tub broken. Good breakfast. Good bed. Probably would not stay again and would not recommend to others. There is a much nicer Best Western down the road

The hotel is about half an hour away from Leavenworth where we stayed for most of the day. It wasn't a bad drive to the hotel given it still had snow all over. We stayed in a Standard Room with 2 queen beds. Parking was free on the premise and check-in was easy. We asked if we can have a late check-out and was allowed to check out at 12pm instead of the usual 11am. The room was big and clean. There were 2 sinks in the room (one outside and one inside the bathroom). I think it's a clever design. Given the size of our group, we didn't have to wait for the bathroom to free up to brush our teeth. Each bed was a good size for 2 people and was really comfortable. There were also a variety pillows with different firmness to choose from. That was great since I like a firmer pillow. Breakfast was included as part the stay. It was the usual continental breakfast but everything was nice and warm. There was an attendant who kept checking to make sure the eating area was clean and everything was fully stocked. If I ever go back to the same area, I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

It is a convenient location for visiting places, friends and relatives. All the employees are so welcoming and we had a wonderful experience. The rooms were excellent, very clean and I enjoy how comfortable they are.

Great value, clean rooms, also very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back in the future. I Took my daughter to celebrate her 33rd birthday in Leavenworth Washington. We had an amazing time!

We had a 2 day stay and wanted to commend Juan for his excellent service and attention. We would have given a 5 Star except for the carpeting in the traffic areas of our room (138) was very soiled and in great need of deep carpet cleaning-)the room itself was clean) this is something the upper management should be monitoring and making sure the rooms and hallways are presentable. Also our hotel phone did not work but we had our own cell phones that we could use. We also wanted to pass on that Hope did a great job attending the breakfast room. Very clean and kept so by Hope. We will be return customers - great location and easy in and out. Try to get 1 st floor since there is no elevator. AC worked great.

Wife and I drove the Cascade Loop and stayed here for the night. We left our phone charger at home and the front desk clerk gave us his to use. Thank you. Also the pool was wonderful as it hit 100 degrees outside, great way to cool off on a hot day.

The pool was wonderful! The pool opens at nine, but when we asked if we could swim earlier, the staff had no problems opening it earlier. The breakfast was good; good assortment of food. The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here; we liked it when we stayed here in June, we're back in mid July again. Special thanks to Juan who really went out of his way to help us & others. His attention to service was noticeable to us and I'm sure for others; we'll likely stay here again this year and will refer others in our extended family & our friends to this location. We loved the pool, room was immaculate, hotel was clean, breakfast was great, employees friendly and helpful.

Service at the front desk was great. Food was good as for this type of hotel. Room was terrible! Old tired dirty smelly carpet. Toilet ran and was not properly anchored...wobbly. AC unit loud and noisy. No towels at the pool.

Friendly and helpful staff. Everyone I came in contact with was pleasant and very approachable. The breakfast had a great variety of hot sit-down options and things that could be grab and go if needed. The business center was very user friendly and conveniently located. The laundry facility was a bit hidden, but nice and inexpensive! The washer and dryer worked without needing to additional coins. I was a bit disappointed in the fitness room. The treadmill was out of service and free weights would have been a nice option. Since I was staying for an extended trip I missed being able to get my regular workouts in with the minimal equipment.

Super Clean BW. Nice Lobby with a well stocked candy dish !! Very friendly and accommodating staff. The Beds are pillow top with nice bedding and comfortable pillows. The rooms have Kerig coffee machines, microwave and fridge. The provate outside patio area was Bonus !!

All good no worries. Like your catalytic converter being cut off .cameras cameras and more cameras everyone should have this and of course so simple none of us would have to deal with this Bullshi** if our oh wait your governor would stop all recycling places of accepting them . Easy access to Leavenworth, WA. I liked their hot breakfast. The room felt clean, the beds were wonderful, and they have spacious balcony's attached. If wanting to sit out on balcony bring a folding chair. There is a railroad that you can see right behind their property. The train runs constantly, but thankfully it did not bother our sleep. The hot tub jets did not have any force behind them, that was disappointing.

Was in town due to weather. I'm glad I got to Stat at this hotel. All of The staff was great from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. Breakfast was great. Would definitely be coming back in the future.

This hotel had good facilities with a pool and a fitness center. It had a good hot breakfast and the beds were comfortable and the room clean. The only problem we had is that the drain in the tub did not work and they ran out of the hot breakfast at 8:45 so we advise that you get there earlier. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, cereal and fruit.

This is by far one of the best best western I have stayed in. The staff is great, the rooms were clean, and the hot breakfast was good. Wish they had an indoor pool but it worked out fine. Will definitely come back on our next visit

Just an overnight visit to check out the Fall colors. Room was clean and staff were exceptionally nice. Breakfast was good and location was convenient. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

I found the room to be large, clean, and very comfortable. Bathroom appeared to be recently updated. However, there were areas the hotel can improve on. The desk chair had a very worn seat, the upholstered chair had a large, frayed hole on one arm, the main room sink faucet ran in a trickle and the light fixture above it contained three different types of lightbulbs. I did report all to the front desk when I checked out. From other reviews it appears that others also found things in their rooms that could have been in better condition. Keep in mind that there are no elevators in the hotel so book first floor room if you have limitations. The front desk was very helpful in offering to help carry my bags up to the second floor. The hot breakfast was just okay.

Spent 5 nights during the recent heat wave and hated to leave. We have stayed here before even though we only live 3 miles away. The experience from nightly rate, amenities, location and especially friendly staff are some of the best in Wenatchee.

This is an excellent Hotel in Wenatchee! It is affordable, clean, quiet and the management is top notch! There is plenty of shopping nearby, and restaurants. Be sure to stay here when you are travelling to Wenatchee, WA

There are two Best Westerns in downtown Wenatchee and this is by far the better choice. Avoid the Best Western Plus, which feels grungy and dingy the moment you walk in the lobby, and pick the Chieftain Inn instead. Yes, the Chieftain is an average hotel but it's on the clean, solid, and comfortable side of average. In fact, even though it's an average hotel I was perfectly happy staying there and encountered no problems or issues at all. I only call it average because nothing jumps out as exceptional, not as a put-down.

We enjoyed our overnight stay 4 years ago and were pleased with our recent 2-night stay. I'd describe it as not too fancy but a great value. Wonderful staff, very clean, comfortable bed, good lighting. Our room was looking a bit worn. Ottoman upholstery stitching was opening up where the feet rest, one curtain didn't open without extra jiggling, electrical outlets were really loose and two different ones let the plugs fall out. None of this really bothered us and we felt safe. Would choose a different place if I wanted more luxury. Great for a couple days of bicycling in the area.

We stayed here in January 2021 for one night. We were traveling with friends who were in the room next to us. Rooms were average and clean. You can hear some train noise. Our friends were bothered by noise from other guests but we did not hear anything except trains.

Is this the newest hotel, no. Is it clean and convenient, yes. The breakfast is currently a grab and go sack but still not to bad. You can reserve a time for the hot. I was happy it was open . I would stay here again.

Wenatchee is a wonderful city for exploring the regions rivers, farms and vineyards. The area has so much to offer, is about an hour from Chelan and the lodging and restaurants are half the costs of Chelan.

Other than lack of water pressure and nearby train depot the stay was good. Those 2 items brought it down to average. I personally don't care for the poliically correct boxes on surveys that list more than one sex. This is not possible! Period! Only 2 sexes ever existed. 'Other' does not apply. The front desk employee, a fellow of Asian descent, was very polite and efficient. I would stay here again.

Excellent Hotel, great price! Front desk values me as a frequent guest and I recommend this hotel for anyone on business or pleasure travelling to Wenatchee! The manager will welcome you upon arrival and you will be truly appreciated by the hotel staff!

I stayed at the Chieftain for an extended period due to a work project. The staff worked with my needs during the Covid crisis without missing a beat. Suggestions were made for things to do on my days off. I caught a stomach virus during my stay. The staff checked on if I was anything, including offering to go get me food or medications. I highly recommend staying here if visiting Wenatchee.

I really enjoyed the set up of our room. It was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is near a train track but the trains going by are merely a quiet rumble. We literally had no noise otherwise, it was a remarkably quiet room! Would definitely stay here again!

Can't really go bad with Best Western. Wherever we going, if we staying in one of their properties, we know what value we are paying for. Good hotel on main street in Wenatchee, close to downtown (although there isn't really much of downtown to speak of). Friendly front desk, grab & go breakfast, rooms are spacious, bed was very comfy, nice toiletries. Bad pressure in the shower. Close to some great wineries and nice trails.

A really good value if you are in Wenatchee WA. I don't stay in Best Western very often, but this time it exceeded my expectation based on the price I am paying. The only problem with my stay is that I found someone's hair under bed sheet and the TV remote control doesn't always work.

My brother and I were here on a bittersweet family mission, so the relaxation provided by the hot tub and pool were a must. We had to stay in town for 4 days. The rooms were clean, the covid breakfast was acceptable and the coffee was good. No complaints. Conveniently located too.

This was a good value for the room. We went the weekend before Labor Day. COVID protocols at the pool made it difficult to swim but I could see people having fun with it. It's only a 35 min drive from Lake Chelan. I'd go there again.

I booked a room for my mother online and wasn't able to pay using my card through best westerns site. Why don't they hold card info. My mom doesn't use internet so I helped her in booking it. And tell me why I had to be present as bokee to check in. Makes no sense. Plus they somehow double booked my stay. Lastly what is the deal with no elevators is this 1985? What about elderly or disabled with stuff to carry to upper floors? This is completely unacceptable. U need to update ur hotel to 2020 standards. Don't put people on hold either especially since cell service is spotty in Wenatchee and sourounding areas. We will not be staying at ur property again.

I'm shocked at the quality of this hotel ! I've always had fantastic stays at Best Western . It's a well known chain known for quality & comfort . The temps in Wenatchee WA soar to near 100 all summer long . It's very hot today and the air conditioner barely works - it blows half cool air & only cooks the area by the bed closest to the slider . The rest of the room is stuffy Hot - seriously ?!?! This hotel should not be operating if the air does not work . When we told the desk Clerk she offered a floor fan - does not cut it ! Also there is a huge pool & they are only letting in 4 people at a time - 8 can easily social distance in this pool . Also they have only one girl working and she doesn't answer calls to the desk because it's too busy . The hotel is clean but old & needs updating bad . Do yourself a favor , don't waste your money on a stay here .

We were pleased with our experience at the Best Western Chieftain Inn. Due to the pandemic, I was a little apprehensive about traveling. This was the first hotel we stayed in during our trip. Check in and check out procedures were streamlined, with minimal time spent at the desk. All employees wore masks and the desk even had separate cups for clean and used pens. There was an option to make an appointment to use the pool. Breakfast was in available in paper sacks on the desk in the morning and had pre-packaged snacks and a bottle of water. We wiped down all surfaces in our room before using it, but overall it seemed like the hotel had procedures in place that made me feel as safe as can be expected during this time.

There is just no excuse for this bad behavior. If you care about all americans, don't stay here. There are directives in our state that require all workers to wear masks. This is not about politics, it is about sound public health policies.

Started traveling to Wenatchee on a whim to get a stress break, and have returned now 4 weeks in a row in part because of the amazing service from the front desk. Yessi during the day and Julie during the evening are two of the best hosts a hotel could have. Yessi manages our requests for late check-out, changes to the stay by adding a day, or responds to other requests with a gracious demeanor and warms smiles. Julie is just plum a joy to visit with while doing the check-in/-out process. She is quick with response to room supply requests, or taking care of creature comforts during the stay. The rooms are clean and tidy; the housecleaning staff are fantastic at keeping the rooms healthy between patrons. We still bring our own wipes and wipe down the surfaces again, but that's recommended regardless of the hotel. We found that the internet coverage drops out sporadically the further away the room is from the central core. We also found the water pressure to be variable between OK and horrible, so now we request the room with the OK pressure. The air/heating units also vary in the noise levels, but each become just background noise after a while. Finally, the fridge units can be finicky. They all work, but we've had the entire contents freeze solid, and others a carton of ice cream becomes soft serve. The mattresses have been super comfy throughout, the current "Grab-and-Go" breakfast option is never in short supply, and there's hot coffee ready to go round the clock.

I had a family emergency and I was grateful the hotel was open to having me stay. The staff was outstanding the room was excellent! Thank you, Best Western for your heart and understanding during a very difficult time.

My wife and I have stayed here on many occasions in the last couple of years, and it seems that the hotel has deteriorated. The carpet in the middle of our room had a large stain, which they had unsuccessfully attempted to clean. The carpet was stretched in that spot, caused by excessive scrubbing. One of the two sinks was plugged when we checked in. As the other worked properly we did not mention it until we left. The toilet rocked on its base, and a very quick inspection showed that the flange bolt was rusted.The security dead bolt on the door did not close. The desk and chair in the room were scratched and scraped, and the wood trim around the shower was water damaged. I reported these shortcomings to the front desk clerk when we checked out, and she metaphorically shrugged her shoulders. We will return to Wenatchee, but we will not return to this BW.

We stayed at the Best Western Chieftan Inn, Wenatchee. We had stayed previously at this hotel. Always clean, everything works and excellent staff. Always pleasant and convenient. Any requests we have had previously have always been accommodated.

Room was in poor condition with no seal on doors for adjoining rooms. We were able to literally hear the neighbors snoring without turning off the electronics in our room & it allowed their light as well as conversations to take over our room comfort. The tile grout had not been properly cleaned in a long time & showed far too much build up from months of not being scrubbed. Heat/AC unit was sounding like it would break all night keeping us awake throughout our stay. Property does not present itself well at all for a Best Western & is why I titled this a pitiful example. Additionally my bill was charged incorrectly & gentleman checking us in was crossing the line into being nosey about our stay rather than just a soft inquiry of our visit to the area. Will not be staying here again & recommend your check area for other options before settling for this property.

Decent older hotel but well kept and friendly staff . Good location as we were actually there to go to Leavenworth so easy drive about 25 minutes. Walls were kinda thin however and noise from adjoining room fairly irritating but we were out most of the day /night Rooms were very clean which is important.

Reasonably priced, convenient, good breakfast. Hot tub for Apre' ski. We have a tradition of coming here every Thanksgiving and eating at the Windmill and skiing opening day at Mission Ridge. Staff let us check in early and remembered us. Good hot breakfast with lots of options before skiing. Refrigerator and microwave in room. It isn't the Taj Mahal, but we keep coming back.

Customer service was great! They showed care for their customers. They had my room ready and set the room temp to my request. They made sure the sidewalks were shoveled. And spread out ice melt making it a safe place.

Always enjoy looking forward to the breakfast and their jacuzzi is open year round which is nice, rooms are very comfortable, stayed here for the lights in Leavenworth and it's not far of a drive at all, will definitely be staying here again.

We loved the location of this motel. The breakfast which was included, was wonderful. We did not be any hot water for two days which made it uncomfortable for showering, but they did get it fixed on the third day. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

I had to go to Wenatchee for an early morning doctors appointment and stayed in Wenatchee the night before. I thought it would be nice to avoid the 2 hour drive from my home and do a little Christmas shopping while I was in town. The location is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would recommend is to bring your own pillow if you are at all picky about your sleep. The pillows are hard, large and lumpy. Other than that I wiould definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

This is a wonderful place to stay and a Great Value in Wenatchee. The rooms are super clean, beds comfy and the breakfast is nice. Staff is super friendly. Would totally stay here again. Pretty central location as well.

Pros: Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel breakfast was ok. Room was clean. Bed was cozy soft. Need a room key to get in side doors=safe. T.V. Reception is good. My key cards worked the first time, every time. Cons: I stayed 3 nights and never got a HOT shower. The water at this hotel is just WARM. The towels are “kid” size and not very soft. The room was either freezing or frying. Walls are paper-thin. Bring your own blanket because the bed only has a sheet and thin comforter. Pillows are those small, square ones that are lumpy.

Nice CLEAN hotel, with a very reasonable price tag. Courteous friendly staff, close to everything. Floors had just been waxed and the scent was somewhat overwhelming. I was thankful for the sliding door and balcony where I could get fresh air until the smell dissipated.

Jennifer was rude before I got there and worse after. I have been there for a week every month but I won't be back. If you like being put on hold and ignored than treated rudely this place is for you. Eating a dirty breakfast? This is your place. Extra rooms will be available as they won't be getting repeat guests!

I was attracted to stay here by the good reviews, but after a promising start it went downhill. When I arrived the reception was friendly and quick, and the room was large with a nice balcony. But there were several problems with the room; for example, the plungers in the bath and basin did not fit properly and the water was tepid at best. The breakfast area was small so that even out of peak times there was no available place to sit; and the selection of breakfast items was much more limited than most of the other places I stayed on my trip.

Great location, super clean, and it is super value. Right across the street is the Buzz Inn Restaurant, and the food and prices were very good, too. This location is great to eplore the city of Wenatchee and surrounding area.

We were actually surprised this was so nice on the inside as the outside was fairly plain... the room was spotless and so spacious... had very high ceilings and wonderful darkening curtains that led on to a nice balcony... King size bed was so comfy and stocked with 4 nice pillows. Breakfast was superb. Hot breakfast with all other choices to go along with it. Overall a great stay. Only drawback is our room faced a Business of some sort.. would have been nice to be on the other side facing the pool... also a few trains that rolled by at night. Would definitely stay again...

What a great surprise to walk into the Chieftain! Front desk check in was easy and efficient. The gal was super friendly, courteous and informative. Seemed the interior was new or recently refurbished, paint was fresh and the furniture in our room was clean and shiny. There was a microwave, larger fridge and brand new Keurig inside the very spacious room. Two separate sinks with ample counter space, and two comfortable chairs at the desk seem like basic concepts, but they make a difference! And the breakfast was ample with plenty of seating, and well kept by the courteous staff. Such a great value and good location close to many, many restaurants. We will stay at the Chieftan again when we come back!

Clean, spacious, first floor room, with lots of light and a patio door convenient to reaching our parked vehicle outside. Very good value. We faintly heard the train rumble by but we were located in the middle of the building and it was not an issue. Admittedly the walls and floors are a little thin - we could hear the tv next door and people's footsteps above us but things quietened down at night and we slept very well. We plan to book the same hotel again when we return next year. Overall an excellent experience for the price.

Had no major problems! The hot water for the whirlpool was set a little too low for my liking .. but probably regulated.. Bed was great , large room , good price - Well there was one problem-at around 11:00 O'clock , the neighbors upstairs from us started bowling! (we were in a top floor room) Thunder and lighning woke us up! Oh , and , the breakfast room was way to small for even all the people in it at 6 AM! Decent breakfast , build your own burritos / waffles / cereal & fruits ..

From the moment we called the staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Once we arrived they were friendly and helpful. The room was amazing and the bed was so nice. We stayed in 7 different places on our trip and this was the best by far. I will recommend you choose this place while in Wenatchee, Wa. You wont be dissatisfied.

They were accommodating, clean, and comfortable, with a good location to where we needed to be in Wenatchee where we attended a wedding. Breakfast was ordinary, nothing special, but included in the price.

Nice hotel, location is very close and easy to get to many different places. Hotel is on the older side of things but still kept up. One drawback was the fact that the cleaner they use is very strong if you are sensitive to smells.

I had to go to Wenatchee to attend an appointment there. The office I was attending was 5 minutes away, so this Best Western was super convenient. Check in was fast, the room was great, quiet, clean and comfortable. The bed was like heaven. I had a wonderful sleep. My only complaint (and it was actually my fault) was that my room was located on the 2nd floor and I tried to change it but there was no option. There was no elevator. Due to my physical issues, getting up and down the stairs with bags was difficult. In future, I'll be sure to pre-arrange where I'd like my room to be!

This Inn was a reasonable place to stay for the price. We usually prefer to travel in our Motor Home as we have heard horror stories from friends about staying in hotels. The Best Western Chieftain Inn in Wenatchee, WA was a nice surprise. The beds were very clean and comfortable, the room was clean and somewhat updated and the FREE breakfast bar each morning was clean, stocked well with fresh items and had something for all tastes. However, I don't know why they advertise that each room has a balcony because they don't put chairs on them so you can sit on the balcony. They have you request pool towels at the front desk. The pool towels are very old in appearance and rough in texture not to mention very small. These are minor issues and having said that, we would stay at the Best Western Chieftain Inn on future trips to Wenatchee.

Quiet, clean rooms. friendly desk staff, easily accessible by car, free parking, great breakfast. We would definitely stay here again when travelling through Wenatchee. This is avery attractive facility inside and out. Amenities in room were lovely.

We stayed here two nights on Aug 6 & 7. Our trip purpose was to attend the Leavenworth Summer Theatre performance. The accommodation rates in Leavenworth are very expensive relative to what you get. Wenatchee is only a half hour drive away and you get more accommodation value. This Best Western is quite modern with very clean room. It comes with complimentary hot breakfast. The hot tea and coffee are available throughout the day. In addition, there are coffee maker inside the hotel room. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel property. The hotel has an outdoor pool and an indoor fitness room. There are several restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.

Did not sleep well as the hotel is right next to a main train line and several crossings are near by. The bathroom was recently remodeled, but the quality of the work is the worst I've seen. Water pressure is poor and the drain was not installed with the correct pieces as it will not seal, thus no bath could be taken. The tile work is poorly cut and installed (even grout air bubbles were not filled in). Sink is installed off angle from the front of the cabinet and the single whole faucet looks terrible aligned to the front of the cabinet (sink and faucet not aligned with each other). Black Sheetrock screws used to install toilet paper dispenser and installed in a poor location (not that there really is a better one for the layout of the room). Remodel looks to have been done cheaply and without QC supervision.

Our room, with a king size bed, was large and comfortable. On our 2nd day, the room service maid stopped by our room and asked if all was O.K. This was a first for us. Behind the hotel is a railroad line that trains travelled over day and night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & if in the area again will pick this hotel.

The pool and Jacuzzi are nice, and convenient. The down side was that our coffee maker did not work, and our sink drain was VERY slow. There are plenty of places hear by for eating, and shopping areas are close.

This is a typical US Best Western hotel and was clean and comfortable. It is quite close to the railway line and got noisy when a train went past. Limited choice breakfast and all help yourself. Outdoor swimming pool.

Stayed one night while on a business trip. The hotel is quite dated. Parking was easy but there is no elevator not even an automatic door at the entrance so may want to consider if you have a lot of luggage. I specifically asked for a room on the second floor away from noise. Apparently this means the first room at the top of the stairs. If you don't like noise mind you this hotel is also very near a train track. The treadmill in the fitness center is unusable. It sounds like the screams of 1000 banshees. Air units in the room are also very loud, I had to turn the TV up just to hear it and then it about blew your ears out when the air unit stopped. I only stayed for one night they were obviously things I didn't use like the pool but based on my drive here and there are several other hotels in the area that probably offer the same amenities, with a little less noise.

When we checked in there were about five people all checking in at the same time. People were talking at the front desk clerk over other people and she handled each inquiry with respect and a calm I don't think I could of managed. One customer wanted a room with no adjoining door since she felt someone could break into the room through it (the front desk staff calmly explained its bolt locked, but offered to see if she could accommodate her request), another man came in and tossed his room key on the counter and said “sorry to cut in line but could you give me a key that actually works.” The clerk said calmly, yes, but this key isn't to our hotel.” He had been trying to use a different hotel key and even 5hough he was very rude, she was still polite. She was alone at the desk and got everyone checked in and handled questions extremely efficiently. This is the type of employee that can make your business! The five stars are to recognize the quality of her work, intelligence and customer oriented service even when the customers where not nice. The hotel is nice, rooms clean, average breakfast (would like plain oatmeal or plain yogurt but thankful for breakfast.

We arrived close to 1AM coming from The Gorge and the young woman who was working was really courteous and friendly. She gave us a good tip on how to find parking closer to the entrance. Room was spacious and clean. What was most remarkable about this hotel is that hours after we left, we received a call from the from desk (different person) asking if we had left a spare cell phone battery in the room. It was one of those bricks that plugs into the wall and we had left it in the bathroom. The cleaning staff turned it in and we were contacted. Since we had left town, they offered to mail it (shipping to be charged to the same card). It arrived and I am still impressed that they took the time to do this for us.

$140/night during Memorial Day weekend was a little pricey for the quality of the hotel. We had a block for a softball team. The benefit is the continental breakfast in the morning(sausage, eggs, waffles, bagels, yogurt, apples, bananas). The kids can fuel up for the games.

Very good value with quality expected of Best Western. It is an older place but is in really great condition. We would definitely stay here again if travels took us to Wenatchee. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

This is a great hotel with exceptional staff. They will always go to any length to make your stay enjoyable. Great breakfast buffet, very well stocked. Buffet supervisor is always looking for ways to be of service. Thanks for a great vacation.

Took a chance stayed at this property. Wanted to try something different, I have driven past this location for years. Best Western is placing more investment, upgrade dollars into some locations this has received attention, lobby, rooms, bed, etc... This was as expected for a moderate price. It has all the amenities needed, or wanted. All expectations were met or exceeded.

The exterior of the hotel is older, but the lobby and rooms are updated and clean. The staff friendly and ample parking to accommodate our pick-up and trailer. A plus that breakfast is included and there's a pool. Make advance reservations if you are staying there to attend or participate in the Apple Blossom festival or parade. The hotel is convenient for parade participants since the parade ends 1 1/2 blocks away. Check out is at noon, it you request late checkout there is a $20 charge to check out at 2pm. Only a limited number of guests are given late checkouts.

Staff was inviting, friendly and attentive. Rooms were large, clean and comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was delicious, waffles and eggs cereal with toppings. Parking was free spacious and close to rooms.

Hotel is needing some help on exterior doors and fencing. Breakfast was just acceptable to Best Western standards, I honestly was disappointed compared to breakfasts I've had at other BW's. The mattress had areas of fatigue but overall was comfortable enough.

Choose the Chieftan if you want a motel close-in to Downtown Wenatchee with a year round hot tub! You can walk (or drive in less than 5 minutes) to the Conference Center, Riverwalk Park, Target and myriad restaurants. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Coffee all day.

I was in town for a night on business and after checking some reviews thought I'd give it a fling. Pros- Newly updated…you can tell it got a facelift and not a remodel but it is nice. The staff was very accommodating, the room was spacious and quiet and best of all (for me) was the sliding door. That meant fresh air. I thought it may also mean a lot of noise but it did not. The bed was comfy and I really had a nice night's sleep. Cons – As others have noticed, there is a smell…I don't know which is worse…the original smell or the perfume used to try and cover it up but it was noticeable. Once I opened that slider and got some circulation, it lessened and was not really anything I'd call a problem…especially when comparing my stay to others who stayed elsewhere and did not have the same level of comfort and sleep quality I did. Bottom Line – Even with the smell, I would put this above others in the same price point in Wenatchee based solely on my overall feel of being rested while there. I mean, it is not the Ritz, but all things considered a good choice.

First time that we stayed at the Best Western in Wenatchee. Would definitely stay there again and staff were excellent. Close to restaurants and shopping. Hotel clean and well maintained. Evening reception staff was professional and offered suggestions as to where to eat.

This is the third time that we have stayed at the Best Western Chieftain in Wenatchee, WA they have always been friendly and very welcoming. Our room has always been clean and quiet. The front desk staff has also been very helpful.

Hotel was super clean when walking in. Great parking for bigger vehicles. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. This hotel holds up to the best western standard!

I definitely recommend this hotel. The staff is great, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and it's super close to lots of restaurants & Leavenworth. It's also a lot cheaper than most of the other hotels around there.

When choosing a motel/hotel we always start with reading Trip Advisor reviews. Since we always stay at Best Western properties, we compared the ratings and prices for Wenachee's two Best Westerns. Based on the excellent reviews and less expensive lodging, we chose the Best Western Chieftain Inn over the "Plus" property. Our motel had interior doors, a spotless room with a comfy bed, and excellent customer service. When checking in, we were greeted by a welcoming staff member who remembered to ask us if we'd like our Gold card gift or extra BW points. She recommended a great dinner spot, too. One room feature that I especially liked was two bathroom sinks separated in two rooms, one in the shower/toilet area and the other in the entry /closet area. Very efficient! We were offered fresh cookies in the evening and then enjoyed the wide variety of breakfast choices the next morning. My husband made himself a breakfast burrito that included green peppers. I had never seen fresh veggies at a complimentary breakfast before! There was also a nice selection of teas which I appreciated. Thank you, BW Chieftain Inn for your excellent hospitality!

Hotel is Clean. The staff is polite. They have a good breakfast, and this hotel is close to everything! This is our second time here. Walking distance to food and bars. We would stay here again for sure.

The Best Western Chieftain Inn looks very dated on the exterior. The curb appeal is definitely lacking. However, my room was quiet, somewhat updated, and clean. The check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Staff were friendly. It is centrally located and close to restaurants and the convention center. Nothing fancy but I would stay again if in Wenatchee. Also the price is very reasonable and good value for the price paid.

Very clean,staff are very friendly. The breakfast is Awsome actually had my waffle with strawberry and whip cream,hot scrambled eggs and other items. The rooms very clean,and actually have a small keyring in it,I was very excited about that. Right in the middle of everything, Great prices to stay,

The hotel itself was a bit dated, but that doesn't really affect a stay. And there were even 2 sinks, one in the bathroom area, and one outside of it. Bonus! We only had 2 towels and it would have been nice to have another. The check in process went very well, and the employee at the desk was very helpful and informative (one of these days, I'll remember to get names!) There is no elevator, so if you have issues with stairs or heavy luggage, be sure to ask if a first floor room is available. The beds and pillows were a bit hard for what we are used to, but since our stay was only 1 nite, we made it thru. Not sure what we were hearing in our room (244), but there was a loud noise at all times. We had a balcony, but there were no chairs to sit out on it. Would have been nice to be able to sit out there. The breakfast was very good and offered many options, both hot and cold. There was a pool, but unfortunately it was an outdoor pool, so not able to utilize that.

This was a total surprise. It was a great hotel and very well maintained. The three things I judge a hotel on are the towels, beds, and water pressure in the shower. As we always stay in Best Westerns, we know it will be clean. All my qualifications were exceeded at this hotel, and the man at the check in desk was as nice as they come!

Great central location and extremely clean rooms. Beds are very comfy. Enjoyed the fact you could walk to decent shopping and restaurants. I am very conscious of cleanliness and appreciated how clean the corners were in the bathroom which is always a telltale sign of thorough cleaning.

Reserving a non-plus Best Western can be questionable but this BW was better than the BW Plus we had stayed in the previous night. It was good too, but this one had an additional sink! One was located in with the tub/toilet - full counter, very nice. Another one was located outside the bathroom, a little smaller counter. There are train tracks behind the hotel but we didn't hear any trains. Comfortable bed, clean room, good breakfast, nice staff. We would probably stay here again if we needed a hotel in Wenatchee. Also, there is a very nice park along the Columbia River.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise upon arrival after a long drive from Tri-Cities. The staff at the Registration Desk were friendly and efficient. The hotel was very clean, and the room was quiet and updated. The complimentary Breakfast was better than most, but seating space was tight. It was a value for the price.

Stayed 1 night and it was fabulous. Very hot that day, 42 Celsius, so the air conditioning in the room was heavenly. Cooled off in the pool after arrival. Check in was a breeze, we had requested a ground level room and it was perfect. Able to open the gate off our patio and push our bikes in to lock up on the patio. Cookies served at 6:00 p.m. Very good breakfast available. Staff made sure food items did not run out and kept the area very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

It was our yearly vacation and i must say we were very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel, staff was very nice and helpful. The moment we entered our room the smell was amazing very clean and extra towels like we requested. We know where we will be staying on our next trip!! Thanks for an amazing night.

We stayed here for one night while traveling from Lake Chelan to Leavenworth. The exterior of the building was quite average (with some paint needed). However, the lobby and our room were both very nice. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold foods - and was kept well stocked.

This is a clean hotel, nothing fancy, priced pretty well . This is in a heavy traffic area and it was not the quietest place to stay. Decent free breakfast with 24/7 fresh coffee, located on the main drag of Wenatchee and plenty of restaurants close by. The Igloo, which is close, is a great local bar and grill. The rooms are dated and of course they come with a heavy use smell where they try to cover up the smell with lots of fragrance which always makes me kind of sick, but they are big with a very very small bathroom. Staff is nice but we were a bit disappointed when we arrived at 4:30 PM in the afternoon and were told that our rooms were not ready yet and to go have a drink and they would call us when ready. We found the Igloo, but it was after 5 pm when the rooms were ready.

Always great, great location. we love staying here because we love enjoying the river and the local craft breweries that are nearby. It's a clean comfortable stay and they're right in the middle of everything.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We ended up here after driving across the North Cascades Highway through North Cascades National Park. The next day we were doing the boat ride on Lake Chelan and the day after that we were doing Leavenworth. This hotel was perfectly situated for these activities. The hotel is old (we have friends who spent their honeymoon there 38 years ago). But it is updated and very clean and up to Best Western standards. It is a 2 story hotel and it is very long. There is no elevator, but there are numerous easy stairs throughout the length of the hotel. The room was very large and very clean. I liked that there were two sinks. One with the toilet and shower and one sink outside the bathroom. This is really nice for a family. There were cookies in the evening, always a treat. The front desk help were very nice and professional. There was a nice lobby where you could sit and talk. The breakfast area is right off the lobby. It was the usual Best Western breakfast. It was very clean and nicely presented. We used the tables in the evening to play cards. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants, store and gas stations. The hotel also has a small laundry (2 washers and 2 dryers) on the second floor. We did a load of wash. My husband accidently left his jacket hanging in the closet in the room when we checked-out. We didn't realize it until the hotel called us and told us about it. They packed it up and shipped it to our house. We were very happy to get the jacket returned. We were very happy with our choice of hotel.

My large, quiet King room was clean and comfortable. All the basic amenities were in the room, towels were fresh and in good condition. The room had a large desk with outlet for electronics. The bed was comfortable. Check in was easy. The breakfast room is small but had all the standard motel breakfast offerings - nothing special but certainly adequate. This is a well located value accommodation that I will return to again.

We travel for BBQ competitions so spend many weekends during the summer in motel/hotel rooms. Good sized and clean rooms, comfortable beds and even a nice armchair. We personally like the lower floor with sliding door to small patio and easy access to parking lot. Wish the breakfast area was a bit larger but food is good and the coffee hot. Food choices are larger than many places we have stayed.

Stayed for one night on a road trip and to be fair it's difficult to fault. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed, despite being a little dated it was spotlessly clean. WiFi connection was good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Looking for a place to stay in Wenatchee for a night or two look no further.

We almost always stay at Best Westerns and this one was very nice. It's spread out some but easy to get around in but no elevator if that makes a difference. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast was great.

I'm a best western rewards member so it pains me to say this. Equal to motel 6 but twice the cost. If I had paid around $80 or less I would say I got my money's worth. But after taxes and fees it was $160. Even if you are a rewards member, skip the points and pick another place.

This was a great value. Centrally located, Keurig in room, clean room, nice staff, good breakfast burrito! Used the express checkout, and the checkin was excellent! Even though it was on Wenatchee Avenue, the rooms were insulated well against road noise.

Our room was nice, with a balcony overlooking the parking lot. We were racing at the WVSO so we had our pick-up and race car and trailer. The parking lot was very accomodating for our large truck and trailer, plus we could keep an eye on the trailer and race car from our room. Breakfast was great. No internet problems. All-in-all it was a great stay.

We had a nice stay. The bathroom was clean and updated. The shower and potty in one area with a sink and dressing area. Overall the room was clean. You go outside the hotel to inter the pool area. Pool was 5 feet in the deep end, tiles in the pool needed cleaned. The location was great. Parking was easy right by our room. Breakfast was ok our family each had what they wanted. The employees were kind and very helpful. The kids loved the cookies at 6 p.m.

We had a great room with outside access to our car. Walking is a problem for us so all was handy and a great breakfast. Beautiful surroundings to top that all off. Also received airline mileage towards Alaska Airlines

I always enjoy staying at the Best Western Chieftain Inn in Wenatchee. The rooms are always clean, everything works like it should and if a problem arises - they are quick to address it. My only complaint about the facility is - they made a change in the past year or so in the bedding. They have gone to using a number of small pillows on the beds instead of just a standard pillow. They are very uncomfortable. Time to go back to regular pillows.

We always consistently stay at Best Western on our travels if available. Always direct book online because it is very easy. In all of our stays we have never had any problems with staff or any of the amenities provided.

While the place is clean and the staff were friendly, the hot water was luke warm. Never got fixed during our stay. On a busy street and the car noise is rather loud. One night the wind was so bad, our balcony howled and the cold air was felt through the sliding glass door. Typical hotel breakfast, nothing special.

Nice place clean and comfortable. In the Midest of renos but not a problem! There is a train tract a few blocks away! Not that it was super noisy, but did hear it as not a sound we hear at home! Staff were very friendly and super helpful! Thank you to all we came in contact with! You really made our stay!

Wenatchee itself is a good surprise, but this motel was a real treat <3 The bed is always the most important since that's what we're there for-sleep. These beds were firm and clean and just about perfect! The room itself was one of the cleanest we've used in a few years! Breakfast was fine and dandy, the personnel were all fantastic in being there to help and make our stay pleasant and satisfying <3 <3

Not much of a breakfast area but it is free and they have enough food to start your day. Always friendly hotel staff. Clean rooms - affordable price. I enjoy the Best Western Rewards program because of all the Alaska miles I earn. Lots of parking in a safe area.

the room was spacious, we had a small patio which was very nice, quiet hotel even though they were doing a lot of construction location was good with easy access to downtown and stores location was on a less traveled road which made it easier to travel

It is typical quality for Best Western. BW always has certain amount of quality. I like it. It normally has two queen size bed. It is good plus for a family to stay. It also provides hot tub, I love it. It has good breakfast and spacious room. Plus the internet speed is not bad.

One thing to note as I tend to recommend, if you have the opportunity to call ahead to the hotel you have in mind and ask if there is anything you should be aware of before arriving it is a good idea, this location is currently undergoing bathroom renovations until May 31. Otherwise it is a convenient location in town, comfortable and great staff with easy check-in and check-out. One other item to be aware of there are train tracks nearby on the east end of the property and trains tend to run during evening hours.

We have stayed here off and on over the past 10 or so years. We stayed for two nights in early March. We have reviewed it twice before. The standard continues to be good. The rooms are clean, service on check-in and check-out is friendly and efficient. The breakfast contains some hot items as well as the usual bagels, toast etc. The room is a good size. It is also close enough to walk to the downtown area and there are some restaurants in the immediate vicinity. My only "complaint" and it really isn't a complaint, is that the beds are too soft. Not a bit deal. Depending on how the rates go (usually very high in the summer), we will likely stay here again.

Rooms that faced the local train tracks made sleep at night difficult. I'm a light sleeper and lost a lot of sleep from the loud train noise all night. The breakfast was GREAT. It could have only had hard boiled eggs to make it perfect for a quick fix breakfast

Leavenworth less than 30 minutes away, the hotel was easy to find, and it was a choice if playing & shopping in Leavenworth are a prime attraction. Breakfast options were good. Lots of easy options for dinner nearby

This hotel is located close to downtown and shopping options. Room is newly updated spotlessly clean and comfortable. Despite being near a train track, room was very quiet. Riverwalk is within easy walking distance - I enjoyed a nice stroll on the river both mornings of my stay.

Best Western Chieftain in Wenatchee have all the necessary items for a weekend stay. Clean rooms, breakfast, evening cookies near shopping, restaurants and the Town Toyota Center. Friendly helpful staff and I was amazed that the trains that run through parallel to Wenatchee Avenue were not noticeable in our room. Thumbs up for that.

Have stayed here before but this time taught me a few things like asking for a room o the 2nd floor. Someone staying in the room above us apparently had a child that they just let loose to run and jump all over the room and could clearly be heard in our room. We let the front desk staff know that we might be asking for a room change as it was quite annoying. They said they would call the guests and the noise did cease until 6:30 am when I was woken up by feet running and pounding on floor all over again. So much for sleeping. Also, too, bathroom not thoroughly cleaned, hair on back of tub.

The staff was friendly, the rooms clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast food very, very good. The kitchen was clean and pleasant. I especially enjoyed having a second sink in the closet room. With two women on the trip, we both needed a mirror for primping. I liked that.

Located in a medium size town with a nice downtown area. Rooms very clean and tastefully decorated. Quiet and breakfast was slightly above average with a good choice of items. Would stay again if we were in the area.

Received a voucher when trading in points! Used it here and enjoyed my stay. Happy the jacuzzi was open during winter time. Spacious room and lovely large windows. Kuerig coffee much appreciated. Will visit again.

Solid hotel for the price. Good value. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was above average for a complimentary hotel breakfast. Will certainly stay here again when in town for business.

Main issue is the noise in the rooms. The heating/cooling system and refrigerator go on and off throughout the night and can be very disturbing while sleeping. Other than that the rooms are fairly comfortable.

The staff where both friendly and knowledgeable. The room though clean had an oder like someone had smoked in it. The hotel was completely booked so we were unable to switch rooms. The staff was apologetic and curtious.

Hotel was clean and staff is very professional. Some areas in the hotel are visibly older but are renovated. Close to shops and highways, on the way to Leavenworth. Overall great experience for families

We wanted to visit Leavenworth, but all the rooms in town were booked. So we stayed in Wenatchee it's only 30 Miles away, Great town and hotel! We were able to visit Leavenworth and enjoy the room, we will do it again sometime soon!!!

We always try to stay at a Best Western because they are always clean and friendly as well as comfortable and we never have a problem checking in as well as feeling that we are always welcome. The only thing that bothered me was a couple trains that went through town in the middle of the night.

This hotel is one of our favorites. The room was immaculate as was the entire hotel. The breakfast was outstanding, including tasty eggs and all the fixings. We love Best Western hotels when we travel by car, motorcycle or by air. This property is great...Look no further.

As a frequent business traveler, the small addition of the fresh peppers and onion to the standard break is greatly appreciated. The same old canned sausage gravy and dry biscuits just gets old.It was so nice to put some fresh vegetables and jalapeno in a tortilla. Thank you. I also really liked the large desk/work station and comfortable desk chair. The location, value, and amenities were enough to get me back the next time I'm in the Wenatchee.

I have been staying at this hotel every time I visit Wenatchee for the last 10 years or so. The staff is very friendly and they always have fresh cookies at night for their guests along with the USA Today Newspaper. Free breakfast is just ok. Prices are reasonable and worth the money my company pays.

I used to live here and now come to stay for business or play and this is still the best room in town. the room size, outside deck and fully functioning hot tub and good continental breakfast every morning makes this a great stay

Questionable hairs on bathroom floor. Turned only cold water knob on for the shower and only hot water came out (I tried all combinations of the knobs, but still only hot water.) Reported to front desk, and while they said maintenance came by, it was not functioning properly. Just not worth it.

Overall this hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and the beds are pretty comfortable. The location is not too bad and is easy to get in and out of. If I were to visit again I would definitely stay at this location.

We spent two nights here and the room was good and staff friendly and knowledgeable. The bed was comfortable. One thing people need to know when making a reservation is that there is no elevator. We were fine with that, but we passed an older couple walking up the stairs very, very slowly. They both made comments about having a 'bad back' and the other had 'bad knees.' They should have had a room on the first floor, but probably didn't know to ask for that. The breakfast was good, but a busload of kids having breakfast our second morning made things a little slow for us.

First, there should never be a room immediately adjacent to the dining room of a hotel. Since I ended up in that room, I cannot speak to what it might be like in a room farther away. The cons: I got to wake up every morning with the staff who prepare breakfast and then got to remain awake as guests filed in for their meal. The floors were filthy which I discovered after walking around and then climbing into bed and seeing what ended up on the white sheets. The room has a sliding door and the extra security lock was unlocked but I didn't realize it until the second night - it should be locked by staff when they clean the room. The refrigerator is just a freezer- everything I put into it froze solid. Pros: bed is comfortable, room is large (single king room), good water pressure, friendly staff.

Staff is always polite and helpful, facility is clean and well decorated, aroma of waffles awakens you in the morning. A full breakfast not just pastry and coffee/juice. Location is good, close to restaurants and can easily get to stores you might want to shop at. Some quaint stores as this is the older part of Wenatchee.

The BW Chieftain in Wenatchee is beginning to show its age but is well maintained and provides the best value among the better known hotel brands in the area. The breakfast was very good, certainly when compared to other hotels in similar a similar price range.

The hotel was easy to find. It had a nice appearance from the exterior, and the lobby was nicely decorated for Halloween. The front desk staff was very friendly and was quick to check us in. The express check out option was nice to have for the morning. The room was a bit dated, but was nice and clean, The bathroom could have been slightly larger, but was also clean. I would stay here again, but a reno should be on the horizon for the hotel.

Staff was nice, check in went very well, then came the room experience. everything in the room was outdated, furnishings, fixtures, plumbing etc. The main issue was the bed!! When you rent a room at a Best western you expect a good nights rest. Impossible to sleep on the disgusting mattress that was in my room. The floor would have been a better choice.

My family and I recently started at the Best Western Chieftain Inn proper to going to Leavenworth, Washington. We made online reservations and immediately contacted the hotel to let them know we would be arriving late. When we arrived at 7:30pm, we found the staff friendly and attentive. They quickly got us checked into our room and on our way to dinner. The hotel's location makes it an easy trip to the many nearby restaurants, shops and local vineyards and entertainment. It is also close to the various freeways and state routes that converge on Wenatchee. After dinner we returned to our room and found it to be spacious and clean. We were staying in a first floor, double queen suite. There was the normal desk and chairs, dresser and tv. A nice sized frig and microwave were included with the room, along with a single serve coffeemaker. Overall the room was clean and orderly, though the hot water pressure in the shower/tub was lacking and the curtain rod was pulling out of the wall. During the night, the room and hotel were quite. There morning breakfast, from 6-9, offered something for everyone: waffles, build your own breakfast burritos, cold or hot cereals, breads and bagels, yogurts, and various fruit. Check out at 12 noon was a breeze, and if we went to a local park, followed by a stop in Cashmere and then Leavenworth (11 miles away). I recommend staying here if you plan to visit Leavenworth which sells out quickly and whose hotels are pricier. It is only a short drive away and there are shirtless from Wenatchee if you do not want to fight the limited parking.

Visiting family and looking for a good value. The standard Best Western fair for breakfast, but the area is pretty small. They do have some small tables just outside and there is a lobby area with couches to sit at nearby. The extra seating they open up is located at the other end of the hotel, which isn't so handy. Outdoor pool was nice and a small exercise room. Friendly staff and USA Today paper. Nice beds. Kind of strange hallways on the second floor in that they slope down every so often even though the building is not on a slope. The major drawback for anyone on the second floor is no elevator. If you are packing a lot then it can be a little tough on move in day. They have carts, but not too handy since they can't go up or down stairs.

Stopped over on the way to Seattle. Never stayed at a Best Western before. Was pleasantly surprised. Rate was great, room was comfortable and well stocked with amenities, location was close to everything in Wenatchee, hotel had great breakfast and after hours extras like cookies and tea/coffee.

This hotel was very quiet even though on the main street close to town. It was very clean with comfortable beds. The price was reasonable and the morning breakfast was very good. It included eggs, sausage, cheese, and tortillas along with the cold buffet options.

The Hotel is located in the heart of the most beautiful area in the Pacific Northwest. Apple orchards, the Columbia river and Lake Chelan along with close proximity to Levenwoth. What a great place! I enjoy staying at the Best Western a couple times a year.

Good location to downtown, easy access to nearby restaurants, Wenatchee is a great place to visit, nice weather. Hotel is a bit of a older hotel, outside pool, but still pretty well kept. Staff is very nice, made checking in and out easy. Breakfast was not too bad for a hotel breakfast.

The room was on the second floor, but with no elevator getting our bags upstairs took a little effort. Room clean and comfortable and quiet despite being only just off the highway. Complimentary breakfast was good but busy so tricky to find a table. Basically this is a good hotel for a night or two, reasonably priced and just what I'd expect from a Best Western.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Close to the road so a little noisy if on the first floor. Room was clean. Was able to use a washer and dryer. Would stay again.

A nice hotel in Wenatchee. Easy to find along highway 2. I didn't see the name Chieftain Inn when I pulled into the parking lot so I wasn't sure it was the correct place. I saw it once I walked into the lobby. Several doors to different sections of the parking lot made for easy access. All secondary doors require room key to access so good for security. A good breakfast.

The hotel was super clean, which was a blessing as my husband always checks our rooms with a white glove. The only thing about the "rooms" in which I'd score as mediocre, is the pillows...time for some new pillows guys! Overall, it was a great stay! Thank you.

Online reservation quick and easy with the BW app. Check in was friendly and efficient, and reception staff were bright and cheery. The room was nicely appointed and spotlessly clean, beds and pillows were comfortable and WiFi was good. Breakfast was standard, well stocked and looked after by the attendant. We were passing through on a long road trip, so probably won't be there again, but can quite comfortably recommend it as an excellent place to stay.

After a long drive , this hotel was a welcomed experience . Comfortable beds , excellent breakfast and very friendly staff . We hadn't reserved so we're lucky to get such a great room Just what we needed! Would recommend this Best Western.

The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very polite and helpful. We will definitely stay there again. The issue with the coffee pot was minor and the staff tried to fix it. The location was good for what we wanted.

I stay here every year when I go the Farmer Consumer Awareness Days in Quincy. My son and his pyrotechnic club put on an amazing fireworks display that is not to be missed. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and the amenities are all that I need for the weekend. The breakfast is great and I love the outdoor pool / spa area. I always request a ground floor room towards the back which has parking right outside the sliding glass door. Perfect place for my needs.

The bed was very comfortable. The rates were low in comparison to the cleanliness, friendliness, and quality of services. The breakfast was a good assortment of choices and the hot food was hot and fresh.

We arrived at 2 pm and told our room was not ready. When asked when it would be ready we were told “we can guarantee it will be ready by 4.” We were hot and tired from travelling and asked to use the pool - not until you check in. So we took a walk along the river, but at 34 degrees we did not last long. Back to the hotel and wait in the lobby .. at 4 pm the room was still not ready. At this point my husband got huffy and suddenly a room was ready. When we go to the room we saw it was an adjoining room - always a bad idea. We asked for a change but were told nothing was available. As expected we could hear every word in the next room. The tv remote does not work properly - there is no guide function and no way to know what channel you are watching. Very frustrating. The room has a patio - but no chairs (What's the point of that??). The hotel is beside a rail line and trains seem to run every hour. The water in the shower was barely hot, the fridge noisy and the in-room coffee maker was finicky. On the plus side the air conditioning was effective and the bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast was better than expected with scrambled eggs and sausages and the fixings (cheese, tortillas, sour cream, salsa) to make burritos.

Size of room and décor excellent. Bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast outstanding. Only issues were gnats virtually everywhere, desk clerk said it was the season for them. Friends stayed in upstairs rooms, no gnats noticed. Overall a great place to stay for a fair price.

Staff provided excellent service, clean and well maintained property, comfortable beds. Convenient to The Buzz Inn Steakhouse (across the street) that serves above average food. The complimentary breakfast was very good but extremely busy which made it a little chaotic to make it through the lineup and/or find seating.

The Chieftain lives up to Best Western standards. Quiet, comfortable and affordable. There are some adjoining rooms if needed. Property is a little old so you can hear those above you. Otherwise very quiet and solid.

Stay was perfect, staff was great in getting us a last minute room when I called the day before, check in was super easy, breakfast was delicious and convenient! Didn't get the chance to use the pool or hot tub, but looked clean and inviting. Was definitely bummed we didn't get the chance to use it, will definitely do that next time!!

This hotel is located close to the rail line and being of old vintage sound proofing is an issue with loud footsteps and gushing waters, besides the rail noise. The hotel is quite reasonable priced but the amenities are old.

We literally are just in the room at night and it's a great place to rest, recover, refresh, grab breakfast and go. This was our second visit in the past 2 years and rooms are super simple, beds are comfy and breakfast is simple but a variety of offerings. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at 10pm one night were a real treat for my teens.

Stayed at another Best Western for the second time in two weeks. Once again, the room was fine and the staff pleasant. Breakfast was okay, although certainly nothing special. However, I again presented my elite status card along with my credit card on check-in and it was again ignored by front desk staff. Why issue these cards or offer "elite" status in your hotels when that seems to be routinely ignored? The offer of a room upgrade (whatever that means, as I have yet to experience anything "special" in that regard) appears to be rather meaningless.

Very impressed with just about everything about this hotel.It may have been a bit overpriced considering the location but worth the cost. The only drawback was the absence of an elevator, difficult for we ladies to get baggage up or down stairs.

Stayed here on way from BC to Seattle. Pleasantly surprised - basic hotel but kids loved the outdoor pool. The service was good breakfast was very good and this was the perfect midway stop for us. Would use this hotel again!

Upon checkout the bill was charged to the wrong account. This was a business trip. The bill being charged to the wrong parties caused my associates to over draft their accounts.This was corrected after the fact.

We stayed last year and we enjoyed our stay, this is our pick for hotel in Wenatchee/Chelan area. Rooms are huge and clean. Breakfast waffle and coffee are the best. Stuff is really nice and helpful. We will come back in August. Thanks!

The date field when booking does not always hold your selection - this alters the price you eventually are charged. Because the hotel personnel know the date field is errant, we were called and set up for the correct date. That was impressive. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Outdoor pool area is small and does not permit any food or beverages. Breakfast is excellent.

Room, staff and breakfast was all above average and I would recommend a stop here as long as the heating/cooling unit is not needed overnight. We found the unit disturbingly noisy and the air blows directly onto the bed.

First time to visit this hotel and hopefully not the last. The evening staff went above and beyond to successfully untangle our mangled reservation. Room was immaculate and comfortable. Desk staff and housekeeping staff treated us like valued guests. We are always so pleasantly surprised by American friendliness .

Located right on Rte. 2 (Wenatchee Ave.), clean, comfortable, spacious. LIke that the room had two separate sinks, large sleeping area, large bathroom counters. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Only slight drawbacks were that we stayed on 1st floor, and could hear the heavy footsteps of folks in the room above; would stay on 2nd floor next time. Also, the soap dispensers on the wall in the bathing area are too high to reach from seated position in bath tub. Take a bar of soap with you to avoid that.

Good place, but I find the cardboard coffee cups really tacky. The breakfast is routine, but again, plastic utensils and paper plates make it feel like I'm camping out. It would be so much better to have real mugs and real plates and real utensils. Cardboard makes everything taste bad

The location is good, the staff friendly and the facilities good. There were cookies all day at the lobby. The rooms were spacy and even staying at ground floor rooms were okay, as they are away from the road and behind a small fence, so you gået a garden feel when looking out the window.

Overall appearance of the hotel and pool was very inviting during our stay. Loved the sliding glass door outdoor sitting area available for all the lower floor rooms. The breakfast burrito bar selection was fabulous

Whenever I enter my hotel room for the first time, I immediately pull back the top sheet on both beds. One bed had a nasty 7-inch hair in it (look below pen in photo). I called down to the front desk, and they immediately dispatched 2 housekeepers to fix things. They changed the sheets on the problem bed and then, without me asking, changed the sheets on the "good" bed. I gave the hotel a "mulligan" for responding quickly and properly to the problem. This property is located in an OLD set of buildings. Room doors and furniture are also on the old side but are not chipped or damaged. The hotel has NO ELEVATOR, and the second floor rooms are accessible from INDOOR stairways. This property is also built on an incline, so in several spots the hallway floors are "ramped" to accommodate the sloping piece of land the hotel is built on. Rooms are very large at approximately 450 sq. ft. Some rooms have arched ceilings that range from 10 to 14 feet high. Beds were slightly below average, and the room had a fridge and microwave. Rooms also have balconies. A/C won't go below 69F, but I didn't find that to be a problem on an 88 degree day. Most importantly, the bathroom, room, and hallways were all fastidiously CLEAN! (except for that hair in one bed). Wifi was good. My son had no complaints watching YouTube videos. During my web surfing, I found that video clips on various news sites were slow to load. As a Best Western Rewards member, I caught a rather unbelievable rate of ONLY $81, which I felt was outstanding. There are train tracks a couple hundred feet behind the hotel, but there is NO HORN from the trains. You will experience a noticeable rumble, but that's it. For minimal train noise, ask for a room close to N. Wenatchee Avenue. Bottom line, despite my "hairy" experience, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, as I've found much worse things in hotels far more expensive than this. Just remember that this is a good functional hotel. It's not the place for a special weekend away with your loved one, however, for a family or business trip, you won't find better value in Wenatchee (or Leavenworth).

We arrived in the Afternoon we were checked -in quickly and efficiently .We relaxed for a while went to dinner returned to have one in our party to avail herself of the pool and enjoyed its use.We got up and left and were well rested and on our way to our next adventure. Thanks for all you help.

Had wonderful service. Room was clean and quiet. Hotel staff were very courteous. Cookies at the front desk were yummy. Hotel is easy to find, just off the freeway and is close proximity to Lake Chelan.

I would recommend this hotel to others. We had our two children (10, 8) with us. We had a two queen room on the first floor facing the pool. Everything was clean and in order, check in and out was easy, pool was clean and big enough for our needs (and we used it the night we checked in and the morning we checked out). Internet worked well. Location was easy. Rate was reasonable (Just over $100 for us). Breakfast was good - not too fancy but well stocked and definitely enough to get us through the morning. Felt very safe etc. Would definitely stay again.

The main reason we go to Best Western is the comfort of the beds. The Wenatchee Washington Best Western is clean, has free breakfast, and the staff is very friendly. The beds are so comfortable. There is a pool.

Weeks ago, I had booked for a Tues and called the Sun and said I would like to change the reservation to the Monday as our travel plans had changed. Over the phone, the person changed the booking but charged an extra $20 saying the prices had changed since I orginally booked and so the price increased. On Monday, before 4pm, I called to cancel the booking but was told it would cost $25 to cancel. I decided to keep the booking and when I went in the hotel to check in an hour later, had a series of "good questions" to the desk clerk. She agreed to change the price to the original booking if I had proof of cost. I did and she changed the price. However, when I went to the room and accessed the VERY RELIABLE internet, I saw my email had a lesser amount. I called the front desk and a message was left for the manager, Tae. He reduced the price to the amount in my email, and even came to the room to let us know (I was on hold for 20 min with another "problem" to resolve). In short, I'm impressed they honoured the original price. We only stayed one night but found the accommodations to be very comfortable and clean! With mini fridge and microwave too. The make-it-yourself breakfast burritos were yummy! And there were so many options for foods. Just be sure to get there early. It seems to really overflow with crowd after 8am and it closes at 9am. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We had a clean room, comfortable bed. I prefer beds on the softer side and it delivered. The staff was friendly and helped with suggestions for restaurants in the area. The hotel is about a mile from downtown and you can take the riverwalk to get there. What a lovely way to get some exercise.The bathroom had only dispensers so we just went out and bought what we liked to use. The towels were skimpy and I did report that to the desk at check out where she noted it for management. NOW the sad news. The air conditioners were noisy---but not loud enough to drown out the trains that ran thru the middle of the hotel--or it felt like it. Several per night run just behind the hotel. If you can sleep thru that I envy you.

Starting with the kind fulfilling of request for ground floor room and early room occupancy because of my 94 year old mother, we felt very satisfied with the room, cleanliness, and safety. The workout room had easy access, breakfast was good with enough variety to satisfy, the waffles being especially good. Parking was available on site. The front desk people were very friendly, helpful.

Stayed here several times and had no problem till a couple years ago when they started adding the $25 a night charge which holds funds meant for trip. Had a family emergency and thought I would give them a 2nd chance. Got in early Sunday morning but was charged for full night, which was the most expensive day of the 5 I was there. Not a real problem but it was Tuesday, when I called wife to check charges on Credit card for Hotel. Not only did they have funds for all five days plus the $25 a night charge for a total of about $847, they also had an additional $25 and about $267 on hold with my Credit Card. I asked the Desk clerk on Tuesday night about it and she couldn't find any reason for the $267 + $25 charge. She was a sweet lady and did her best. Asked her if she could have manager contact me with explanation. Was gone most of Wed. Had wife check again on Thursday morning on charges. She said they weren't showing but available credit hadn't changed. Called Credit card company and they said all the charges were dropping off and would be completely off by next morning. Never heard from manager. As for the hotel itself, rooms were clean. Cleaning staff did great job. Desk clerk with German accent was a sweetheart. Need to clone her and have a few of her. The bad, eggs at breakfast tasted like powdered eggs. Soap and shampoo dispensers in bathrooms instead of bar soaps. Trying to change channels on tv is a joke. No tv guide so you have to flip thru all channels to find out what is on. You can't input channel you want to go immediately to that channel. Have to go thru all channels to get the channel you want. Air Conditioner would shut off when room got to temp., but would kick back on 5 minutes later. They are very loud. That all being said, will not stay here again.

This Best Western sadly feels like a run down Motel 6 with a dirty bathroom, rude front desk staff and loud, clanging air conditioning units that will bang all night as they click on and off. If you want to be overcharged for a dumpy hotel - this is the place to stay.

The hotel lobby was really nice, great decor. The room was very clean and spacious. However, it had an old-school feel with it, which i did not like. I did like their Dial hand wash soap and lotion. The smell was really good. Overall, good location and comfortable stay.

This is not a great, or even very good, place to stay.The desk clerk was nice and offered us cookies when we checked in. There was no elevator so all of us in our group got to trundle our luggage upstairs. Staff offered to help a couple of the little old ladies. My wife and I were in room 255 and were a little disenchanted when the arrows showing room direction only went up to 254. Naturally, this was discouraging. Upon going back down the stairs to inquire they explained that we would have to go down, to the left, and up to find our room. This pretty much set the stage for the entire experience. They have no restaurant and since they are on the edge of town, there was nowhere nearby to eat but a couple of fast food places. We arrived at nearly 9 PM and they all closed punctually at 9 PM. We were fortunate to score a box of cold KFC chicken because the lady sweeping let us in. The room was OK but the place needs some serious work. The hall floor, which one would have expected to be reasonably level, was certainly not and is probably a lawsuit waiting to happen. The room was generally nice but the bathroom was a nightmare. The shower water knobs were installed backwards and so loose that the water temperature was impossible to control. After several minutes of trying to regulate the temperature we decided that a cold shower was better than risking being scalded. Even then the tub didn't drain right. The buffet breakfast left lots of room for improvement. The scrambled eggs had the distinctive flavor of the instant eggs I remember from the Army. They were so dry and granular that it was a chore to keep them on the flimsy plastic fork. The sausages were good and the folks who tried the waffles said they were nice. Fortunately, they had tortillas so I could make makeshift burritos to contain the eggs which weren't bad after being slathered in tabasco sauce. We took one of the green bananas to eat on the way home.

Walking in the door I could smell that this place was going to be clean unlike the place we had just stayed at. I was so happy! The pool was outdoors which was disappointing and the breakfast was ok. I would recommend this place to others.

On a trip and love to stay at BW so we thought we would give this one a try. The motel appears old heads some sprucing up. The staff made up for this though. They were just great. The room was clean, comfortable and almost everyone got a great nights sleep. All i n all I would probably stay here again.

The hotel is clean and service friendly. It has a convenient location and is within walking distance of the Wenatchee riverwalk and park. It's a typical chain hotel, nothing particularly memorable with thin walls and standard decor, but the room was large, the bed comfortable and the water hot. Good value.

Good value, clean and comfortable room. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment on food. It is located in the middle of town so decent location. Only one restaurant close by - within immediate walking but the city is not that big so can get to places easily by car.

Place was run down very old motel.Poor internet.Good breakfast.Overpriced and taking advantage of people due to the lack of room availabiltiy.I do not need to say more you will get the point but trip advisor wants you to.

The staff was excellent. The cleanliness was very good. The room preparation was well done. The decor was very dated, i.e. popcorn celling. The property is not competitive with other properties, as I had stayed at another property one week prior to this stay.

I loved the bed, one of the most comfortable I've slept on in a while. I loved that each bed had four nice pillows, I surrounded myself with those pillows and slept like a baby! Hotel was VERY clean, they have an excellent cleaning staff that pays attention to details. You won't even find a cobweb in this place. Seemed like new carpet in the hallways. I've slept in 5 star hotels that were not kept up as well. Our room was average in size, the furnishings were in good condition and there were nice pictures on the wall. I wish there was two chairs though so both of us could share the table comfortably when sharing a snack. We had a small balcony which was very nice, but there were no outdoor chairs there either so I could not sit out there and enjoy the weather, still it was nice to open the sliding door and be able to walk outside. Shower worked well, nice upgraded shower head with plenty of hot water. They offer soap/conditioner/lotion in pump containers in the shower and near the sink. I like that idea since to me it seems so wasteful to use a bar of soap once and then throw it away. Oh, also want to mention there was two sinks, one in the shower/toilet room and one just outside that room. Both have lighting, power and mirrors which was nice when dressing in the morning. There was a Kurig coffee maker. I asked the desk if I could exchange the decaf for regular and she just gave me a handful of regular coffee pods. Made ME smile! I can't get enough coffee, and the coffee they offer is french roast, my favorite! The TV Remote was a headache. I was told by the desk that they have a new cable provider and they are trying to work out the problems. I found an easy work around though so it wasn't an issue. Internet was good and fast, there was a fridge and microwave in the room as well as a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Even though it is heated, the pool was a bit cold for me, would like it a bit warmer but the hot tub was almost perfect. ...Would like some curved stones at the top though so you don't rest your head on a sharp corner when lying your head back. The breakfast was good and plentiful with a large selection including scrambled eggs and link sausage, toast, waffles with plenty of syrup and toppings, cereals, doughnuts/pastries, a nice selection of juice, coffee, tea, REAL half and half along with a selection of flavored coffee mate if that's your thing. Also a breakfast burrito bar with tortillas, cheese, salsa, sour cream, jalapeno's onions, etc. ..The sausage was mediocre, would have loved some Chorizo to stuff in my breakfast burrito but nevertheless, it was pretty darned good! ...Would like to see a container of half and half so I don't have to open a half dozen tiny cups for my coffee. Some, like me, like it extra light. It was nice to have fresh cookies in the evening, and always candies at the counter along with a free newspaper every morning. One note: There is no elevator, so if you are not able or willing to bring your luggage up one flight of stairs, you should opt for a first floor room. All in all the rooms are a great stay . ...Extra Thanks to the Wonderful Staff who made us feel like family!

The hotel is dated (not horribly) but extremely clean. The rooms were very comfortable and everything works. Keurigs in the rooms. Cookies at night. Breakfast in the morning. Located close to the Walla Walla point park and Wenatchee Confluence State Park- nice for a run.

The hotel staff are very nice. They do a wonderful job keeping everything clean. I loved my stay there and will return there in the future. Best hotel that I have stayed in for quite sometime. I would use the hotel again

The hotel is nice but we drove past it because it lacked an address on the building, the staff said oh sorry the painters forgot to put it back on after they painted several months ago, so they new, and staff don't know how long their washing machine takes, I was wondering if we had time for a load before dinner but decided to wait cause no one knew. And when we walked in doorway a huge box was sitting there for 4 days and this box was the size of a new fridge, should of been in back of hotel, the staff was very pleasant and breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, waffles, tortillas, fruit, juice,yogurt and coffee and tea ect..... the rooms were nice with a little balcony we sat out there every night, and there are plenty of restaurants you can walk to.

We were in Wenatchee for one evening, on our way to Lake Chelan. Our room on the top floor was quiet, clean, and spacious. The vaulted ceiling made the room seem even bigger. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, even though the hotel was completely booked for the night. The breakfast was comparable to other hotels in the same price range, with hot and cold options, including waffles and breakfast burritos. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in the area.

This is a nice older building that is being well maintained but needs some updating. The staff was nice and the breakfast was fine. Make sure to get a room on the south side of the building so the HVAC unit is blocked from the wind.

Was in Wenatchee for a fun evening with our Eagle friends to welcome home the State Aerie President after his year of visiting other Aeries. Also went to Leavenworth for shopping. Possible will stay here at this hotel again if they allow pets

This Best Western hotel is our #1 hotel for the area. We have stayed here for the past 4 years and have always been met by the staff with smiles and pleasant conversation. The cookies they provide in the evening are a very welcoming thought. Thank you for another very pleasant stay.

We thought this was a reasonably priced, clean hotel and it is close to downtown. It looks like it was recently updated and we found the bed and pillows very comfortable. We didn't use the pool (although it was heated) but we did use the hot tub. The breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast. The staff was very nice and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is very clean and has been recently upgraded. The decor was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, however room amenities such as coffee and glasses were not restocked. The breakfast good and the buffet was well maintained.

We recently stayed Friday & Saturday night at the BW Chieftain, check-in was fast the front desk was ready. The room was clean and well stocked, with the exception of the towels which is a pet peeve of mine. I hate it when hotels use towels that have exceeded their reasonable life; I really hate crusty towels! Breakfast was adequate, the afternoon chocolate chip cookies were a bonus!

Paid $50 less than neighboring hotels, received good service and breakfast. Attend a conference down the street and felt safe walking to and from the hotel. Plenty of restaurants within the immediate area.

Front desk staff was rude, breakfast cold and tables were dirty. The room was clean, a little worn but that can happen. Not sure I will return there, since there are many other options in the area. My decision is mostly because of the rudeness of the front desk staff.

Very surprised at quality and fit and finish of the hotel for the price I paid. I'd definitely recommend this hotel in Wenatchee for best value. Fresh carpet, newer appliances, fitness room, free internet and breakfast. You can't go wrong!

Ok place to stay. Rooms are clean but pool is seasonal. Food was good but could use more selection. The price for the room was fair. Internet was slow and tv functions were off. Would I stay there again yes just because the rooms and location ere clean

The room was tidy and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were all soft and small. It would be nice to have a combination of both firm and soft. The towels were of poor quality- thin and rough. We could not get ready in time for breakfast- it ends at 9 AM, and we wanted to sleep in! The location was good and parking was free.

The biggest problem was that I was checked into a room that was already occupied. Unacceptable!! The lady at the front desk made my colleague wait between 5-10 minutes at the front desk while she was on the phone with another reservation. Again, poor service. The bed in my room had very little support and comfort. I was asked to leave the workout room in the morning and notified that the room was not open until 9 AM. For traveling business guests, this is way too late to have the fitness room open. You should not have a guest room next to the fitness room if you are worried about noise.

We stayed there with rest of the families for our youth baseball team during recent tournament in Wenatchee. Thought staff did an excellent job of handling a crowded, hectic weekend with many families and kids milling about. They asked us to sign a paper at check to commit to watching our kids and quiet hours which I think was very reasonable and smart to put in place. Rooms were clean and spacious. Liked the dual sinks in and outside of the bathroom. Was great for family. Breakfast was well stocked and the staff was very friendly. Big coffee dispenser was accessible all day which was nice for evenings and the families loved the cookies at the front desk.

I don't know if they have new owners or managers but things seem to be have cheapened. The first thing I noticed was the bulk soap and shampoo dispensers have replaced the travel size shampoo and soap bars this to me looks like a gym or something. The K cups are some brand that you have never heard of and are awful. They have purchased vending machines that are fully stocked with Kirkland brand products. The vending machines are very loud so don't get a room next to them. I have stayed there many times and was planning on staying there for 3 weeks. I stayed the first week this is when I noticed the changes(the vending machines have been there for awhile). I go to check in for the second week and they want $30 more a night, I asked for the same rate that I got the week before she said she couldn't, I showed her that I could get a better rate than I am willing to pay on priceline. she still said she couldn't it would take a manager to do that and left me hanging. I walked out and went to another hotel and had a pleasant stay for even cheaper. They lost my business now. I was always willing to put up with the stained carpets, the loud trains and the garbage truck at 4am for the large rooms and c low price but I'm out

We had to stay at that hotel because I was having a medical procedure and needed to be close to the clinic because of the preparation procedure. We were very glad for the medical discount that we received from the Best Western and the quality of the room and the service we received made this procedure preparation was made a whole lot easier.

My room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I am gluten free, so I appreciate the eggs and sausage. My only mild complaints are: I never could get internet access even after 1/2 hour on the phone with the help line, my room was on the second floor with no elevator, and I was not wild about the shower. The dispensers in the shower are in the worst possible place, above the plumbing. The TV is a little strange as from channels 2 to 18 you have to channel up and down, you can't just go there. I had to call to the desk to figure out how to get 18+ channels because there are no instructions in the room. The good outweighed the bad. If you have skis or lots of luggage, be sure to get a room on the first floor.

You can tell by the door hardware and light switches and myriad other things that this place has been around for a while. Now redone to BW standards, it has all the usual accoutrements expected for the brand. A Keurig coffeemaker in room, something not often seen. The mattress was decent, the bathroom partially redone, fastidiously cleaned and sanitized. A good breakfast, with the makings for burritos in addition to the usual waffle batter, sausage links, eggs and cereals one usually sees. Pool/spa closed for winter, a decent exercise room Price was around $100- a good value for a solid 3-3.5 star property. Well located in E. Wenatchee on the main drag. I almost exclusively settle on BW unless I want something more upscale. The loyalty is rewarded with discounts and upgrades. They are the biggest chain in N. America (Accor is bigger worldwide, I think, with all their subsidiaries.) So they definitely are doing things right.

We were very impressed with the updated quality of the hotel, given previous reviews about needing to be spruced up. The halls had new crown molding and paint; the rooms were very clean; carpet seemed new; and bathroom was exceptionally clean with a full sized bathtub for soaking. Room was spacious with microwave and fridge. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were a bit small and not enough variety of firmness. Had to use 2 pillows to have enough support for sleeping on my side. They served very good fresh cookies in the lobby, which was great for the kids and adults alike. Breakfast was also good.

It's an okay place, as it needs sprucing up. Quite dated. Generally, good enough for a night stay. Downsides are: Bit noisy, can hear noise from neighbouring rooms and rumbling from trains and traffic. So if you're sensitive to noise this location might bother you. No pool access due to winter shutdown. Good things are: Good warm breakfast with better than the average hotel coffee. They also have keurig coffee machines in rooms. Nice! Can see that they try to upgrade their light fixtures. But need more upgrading! Bedding is comfortable enough. Have big enough flat screen tv and wifi works well. Ovations to staff, friendly! Also close to town centre.

Have stayed in other area hotels which are much better. Hotel needs updating. One hand towel for a double room. Room had overpowering perfume type smell. Will book room at other hotel next time I stay in Wenatchee.

I have stayed at a few similar priced places in Wentachee and found the Best Western to be the best one. Free cookies in the evening and free breakfast. Walking distance if you are headed to the Toyota Town Center. Free Wifi too!

The Best Western Chieftain Inn in Wenatchee, WA, has been a good place for us to stay because of reasonable rates, proximity of places to eat, and proximity to Riverfront walking. We appreciated having in-motel hot breakfast and cookies in the evening!

The location of the hotel is right in downtown but a little hard to find. The parking is excellent as you can access your car through the sliding glass door and there is a gate between the room and the parking spaces. We liked the breakfast.

I always stay at the Best western Chieftain in Wenatchee when I go there. It's clean, well managed, in a central location and priced right for the value. Staff has always been friendly and the cookies are an added plus.

This was the second time we've stayed here. It's OK, but nothing special. We stayed one night this visit. We arrived late on a Sunday evening and had to wait a little for the front desk employee, but she was nice enough. The room seemed clean, but in the morning we saw a part of the mattress that looked like someone had urinated in the bed. There were also a number of tears in the curtain. Also know that you are near the train tracks. Not a lot of traffic the night we were there, but we did hear a couple trains in the evening. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, because we try to eat at the Wild Huckleberry when we're in Wenatchee. It tends to be a fairly reasonably priced hotel option. We know what we're getting.

We had a king room that was well decorated and very comfortable. There were plenty of towels and pillows and nice hospitality items. We loved the warm cookies in the evening with a great cup of coffee. The front desk was friendly and helpful, supplying directions and even drawing out a map for us,,,so nice. Loved the breakfast burritos, too. All in all a very nice stay in Wenatchee.

Made a booking through booking.com several months before our trip to Wenatchee for late September. Upon arrival at approx. 9:00 on Friday night with a confirmed booking print out, the front desk clerk told us we had no reservation. She wasn't rude, but offered absolutely no assistance in helping to sort out this matter. After 20 minutes going back and forth haggling, we found out our reservation was given to someone else. The whole check in process dragged on laboriously, and we finally got the room.The property is indeed tired looking, but we weren't expecting the Taj Mahal. However...customer service was rock bottom for this Best Western on this occasion.

Stayed two nights...comfortable beds, clean room, and great service. In room WiFi had a decent speed. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Have always been pleased with Best Western. I really did enjoy my stay here.

Booked this hotel to go to Oktoberfest in Leavenworth on short notice and was pleasantly surprised. It was clean, staff was pleasant and rate was competitive. Extras included breakfast, and cookies at 6:00pm. No complaints on my end.

At this hotel people can come and stay with no problem about not been able to go anywhere close to everything, shopping mall, restaurants, parks or just for a walk, its close to everything around, a very good experience.

I've read reviews saying the place is outdated. However, I wouldn't have noticed this if it hadn't been pointed out to me. The place I thought was well kept up and the room clean with excellent wi-fi. You are within walking distance of the city park & the Apple Capital Recreational Loop Trail along the Columbia River. You are also within walking distance of any goods or services you might need. I would stay again.

I checked in with a 50 ib bag and was told there was no elevator and no rooms available on the first floor. Desk clerk said she was only one here and was not helpful. I had to drag the bag up to the room by myself. There was poor lighting in the room and the phone did not work.

The hotel definitely needs some work to its rooms etc. It does have the amenities of a microwave and fridge. The room was clean and relatively comfortable. You need to ensure you are on the right end of the hotel as it can be quite noisy on the highway side.

This is a very out dated place, the room does have a microwave and mini fridge, but the desk is ver small and desk chair super uncomfortable. A/C is noisy and not very efficient. Bathroom is very dated with old yellow tile and not very clean. Found a long hair in the bath tub and the grout around the rule is very dirty.

This hotel has no elevator, its a good thing it has only 2 floors. So FYI, if you are physically challenged to stairs than ask for the ground floor. This hotel is clean but the decor has dark tones so in my opinion it feel dark cave like in the hallways. The room does not offer enough room to place your suite case, except on the floor, which I hate to do.

We stayed there for 2 weeks and it was great close to all facilities and restaurants Rooms were really clean and tidy each day The staff were very helpful and friendly and would work around our schedule for cleaning Breakfast was great always fresh fruit and fresh cooked scrambled eggs and sausages, all you can eat we enjoyed staying there for the 2 weeks and it became our home away form hoem felt very safe a secure there. so Great job to the staff we enjoyed every second

Spent the night at the Chieftain on our way to Portland. Booked through hotwire and got and excellent deal so any complaints I have will need to be countered with the low price I paid. We arrived at 10pm and check in went smooth and easy. The place is actually quite big. Our room was at the end of the second floor hallway and you knew what you were getting right away, it had that older hotel musty smell to the hallways and they were dark. Not a very bright place at all. I wanted to get out and grab a bite or at lease find a gas station to grab a snack. Nothing. The area is very desolate at night. Walked a few blocks up and down and found nothing open. The room was big and seemed tidied up well. Not clean though, carpets had lots of marking on them and I preferred to walk in flip flops. Older bathroom and a bizarre kinda patio door that didn't opened partially to a bed of rocks with weeds growing out of them. I wouldn't recommend this hotel but would be ok suggesting it for a quick, cheap stopover.

Very clean, quite and modestly priced place to stay. Did not hear the railroad trains at all even though located very close to the tracks. Pool was clean. Easy to find and close to restaurants and the riverside park

PROS: Each room has either a patio or balcony. Handicap room only a few feet away from handicap parking space. Plenty of trailer or large vehicle parking. 2 sinks in standard guest room. Security cameras around the perimeter of property (per front desk). CONS: Ants were in my room. A large hole was in wall in room. Water pressure is kinda low and not as hot as it should be. There is at least 2 trains that go by every night that sometimes shake your bed. The first night I thought their was a small earthquake. Breakfast really carb heavy, only protein option is yogurt and artificial scrambled eggs. Hotel is overpriced as compared to comparable hotels. No elevator (2 floors). Management was notified of ants and they made it right however that does not diminish the fact that it did occur.

BW Chieftain is a generally friendly, well appointed hotel. Check in is efficient and our king room had a balcony (that looked out onto a refinery; the balcony and fresh air were appreciated, and it was amazingly quiet even tho BW Chieftain is off a busy road). Room was spacious enough with well organized fridge, microwave, TV and worktable. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've had. The Kurig coffee maker in the room (which replaces the old coffee karaffe with filters) is problematic as Kurig is not cleanable and nobody knows what went thru the system before I arrived. Kurig products are huge waste makers as seen on media. BW complimentary breakfasts can be great or disappointing. BW Chieftain was disappointing and ended at 9AM, so the room was unpleasant from 8:30 - 9AM when everyone was scrambling and there was no where to sit. The choices were not healthy or appetizing and cardboard bowls/plates and plastic cutlery make food unappetizing and create unnecessary waste. The eggs were likely powdered eggs. Maybe it was an off day.

Like most Best Western Inn's, this hotel is comfortable at a reasonable price. The rooms are a bit out of date, and the air conditioning unit is a bit loud. But, as long as you don't expect a 4 star hotel, this place is a fine place to stay.

My room was very comfortable and had all the amenities i required. The room actually had some great extras such as the coffee machine and a bath, so it more than fulfilled my needs. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast room provided a varied and substantial range of food and drinks. I enjoyed my stay there, thank you.

The staff at the Chieftain Inn are amazing! They accommodated all of my family's requests and needs during our stay. They were pleasant, helpful and even when they couldn't meet every little need, they made very effort to make it right and make me feel like a valued customer. Great customer service will always win out in the end, no matter how badly things may go. I appreciate the staff and their professionalism and for always willing to go the extra distance for me.

We were a family of 4 just needing a place to lay our heads at night. We were not at the pool. We had breakfast each morning before 9am. A train does run behind the hotel and we were closer to the back, but it was muffled and didn't affect our sleep. Much of the hotel has been updated and seemed like newer beds, tub was older but it drained well. Places to walk and eat out within easy distance along with a Starbucks and Albertson's within walking distance.

Not a bad place to stay. There is no elevator to the top floor, so if you have any physical issues ask for the first floor. Our room was pretty nice. The beds were really comfortable. The air conditioner worked but the adjustment knob was not very responsive. It seemed to just spin around without changing anything. Room was mostly clean, the bathroom corners were a bit dirty though.

Remote didn't work; second remote ALSO didn't work (turns out this room has poor .remote success, according to front desk); coffee maker didn't work. Overall, it was sort of a "so-so" experience. (I need to have 200 words so I hope this made it)

Stayed here on our way up to Canada and were very pleased we did. Our room was clean, very quiet, and comfortable. I even requested a room on the top floor when I made the reservation online and was given one. That is very much appreciated. The breakfast was good got our day off to a great start. If you are in Wenatchee, WA, I'd definitely recommend staying here.

IF YOU ARE A SMOKER, BEWARE!!! I was charged a $300 smoking fee!!!!! At no point in time did myself or my guests (my 8 year old being one of them) smoke in the room. When I booked the room through Expedia I even selected "non-smoking" as my room preference. After attending shows at the Gorge for two days, we would return and dispose of our collected trash from the day's hike in our room's garbage can. This included cigarette butts and empty packs. This, and the smell of our sheets is the only "evidence" this hotel is going with to charge me for "smoking in my room". The hotel staff discriminating me for being a smoker and challenging my integrity as a customer and mother. Had a bottle of water with cigarette butts floating in it been found anywhere in my room, I would accept the fees with understanding and regret. Since at no point in time was my room ever smoked in during the duration of my stay, I am appalled. The general manager, Tae refuses to call me back after numerous messages have been left. It has been over two weeks with no returned call or email. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well as Best Western Corporate regarding this false charge. After researching every review on this establishment from many different websites, I have found I'm one of many who have been accused and stolen from by this hotel. Shame on you as a business. You lack any sense of professional courtesy in how you operate and give the town of Wenatchee a bad name.

it's a good place to stay for your money, we've stayed here quite a few times, and it's fairly close to JC Penny, Target, Applebees, Shopko, Old Navy and a few other stores. There are a good selection of places to eat within a 10 min. drive and some within walking distance.

Everything was great and we have no complaints. The hotel was very clean and smelled nice. The check in process was very easy and the staff was very friendly. We had a balcony that we didn't expect which was very nice. We have been there once before and I'm sure we will stay again in the future.

We had to go to Wenatchee on a family emergency as my brother had a massive stroke and was in ICU. The people were very pleasant and nice to us. We mainly slept there at night and the rest of the time was at the hospital. We did have interactions at breakfast that helped our spirits for facing the day.

TRAVELERS BEWARE:: This establishment will unfairly charge you for smoking in your room if you have any remnants of tobacco products in your trash receptacles when they come to clean it. You don't even have to smoke cigarettes or be a smoker, They will charge you unfairly based on your trash. If you discard a butt or empty pack in your trash in the room, so as to not litter the grounds, they are considering that as "evidence" to the fact that you're getting a $300 charge even though all their signs posted everywhere says they'll charge you $250. This place is a rook and I will never recommend or bring my family and friends here again. It's an older hotel, needs to be remodeled and the management are unprofessional and are looking for any way to cheat the traveler. We were never spoken to about anything involving smoking even up to checkout. And each time any hotel staff passed by while we smoked in the permitted areas, we never were told otherwise to be in another spot. Only until there was an extra charge on the statement did we know they had tacked that on. After calling the hotel to speak with a manager, we are told he's not in the office and he'll get back to us. That hasn't happened in two business days, so we're disputing the charge as we should with the card company as we wait for his response indefinitely. Our stay in Wenatchee, Washington was our family's choice to avoid the chaos of camping at the Gorge Amphitheater. Simply, if this is what Wenatchee represents for our commerce, I'll choose a different place next time I'm in the area.

The room had a funny smell that I couldn't put my finger on. Overall, the hotel including our room was a bit dated. And, even though my wife and I are normally not fussy about drinking tap water, we couldn't drink this water. However, the hotel was only a mile from the main part of town, so we walked in for dinner. And the breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs and sausage. And the cookies in the lobby were very yummy.

This hotel was great. The rooms are a wonderful size and you don't feel all cramped in your room. Loved the beds, they were very comfortable. The gal at the front desk when we arrived at midnight was very friendly and accommodating. If we ever head back up to Wenatchee this is the place were we will be staying again.

This is a very dated BW Property in a very poor location. There is only fast food around the property. We had a view of a large bank teller area and railroad tracks. The property has at least three different heights along the hallways. It is dowdy and not up to the BW quality we are used to.

Wenatchee is a very beautiful city. There is a Riverside park within a walking distance from the hotel . It has lots of public art, flower beds, play grounds and great views in the river and mountains. The city looks clean and safe. Great place to visit. At 6 pm the hotel staff invited us for cookies and tea. Very friendly place. I highly recommend to visit.

Stayed only one night.. checked Trip Advisor for hotels.. pulled into Beat Western to check on availability and price. They beat the price by $15.00. Hotel is old, but seemed to be taken care of quite well. Room was clean.. no issues. Hot tub and pool were great as was the seating area around both. Front desk kept the pool open a few minutes past normal, due to our late arrival. This was very much appreciated. Continental breakfast was simple but adequate. Our only complaint was there were no towels at the pool. The front desk took care of that request right away. Overall, nice stay and would stay again.

I have stayed at this property a few times. I like the location as walking/running distance to the river path. The hotel is in need of a remodel for sure. Everything is clean & tidy but very old and dated. They have added Kurig coffee makers which is great. There is also a fridge and microwave. The beds were really comfortable and good linens. Towels however were thin and worn. We did not have hot water for both nights of our stay. Still able to shower/bath is only using the hot water tap and it was warm enough. Mentioned it to the desk clerk upon check out and she awarded me some extra Best Western Rewards point which was nice. Breakfast was good and there were yummy fresh cookies in the evening. Will stay here again when in Wenatchee.

This is the best hotel in town! Staff is friendly and they always find a way to make your stay the best! Breakfast is good and the outdoor pool and hot tub are always clean. Never had a complain during our stays and we love coming to the best western! Their GM Tae does a great job keeping their entire facility working as a team! See you guys soon(:

Really enjoyed the breakfast, it was fresh and hot, There was a variety of foods for everyone. Bring water if you are not a soda or coffee drinker. The vending machine was out water but the staff did find a few bottles for my granddaughter. The room was clean and the best was comfortable.

Stayed there June 10, 2016. Older motel, but rooms very well appointed and clean. Cookies in lobby in afternoon. Breakfast worked - typical motel fare. Quiet area; edge of town. Just myself and bill came in around $140.00. No elevator. Thought it was a bit high. Cost for what it was would be my only consideration should I be around there again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the entire facility smelled nice. I appreciate having a microwave and refrigerator available. I also like the in room coffee machine. Breakfast offerings were good with many choices. Overall this was a great experience and will stay here again in the future for other conferences in the area.

Best Westerns have a motorcycle rider - friendly marketing program and I like to take advantage of it. Preferred rates, windshield cleaning towels and carefully watched parking. All of that at the Chieftain. The front desk personnel were on their game, the cookies fresh, and the room spacious. I particularly appreciated the comfy easy chair for reading. Breakfast, as others have noted, is very good - build your own breakfast burritos - but breakfast prep was a problem. For room #138 only, I'm sure. I was in room #138 and was awakened much too early by the clatter in the hallway caused by food delivery to and breakfast prep in the service kitchen - which is directly across the hall from the door to #138. A solid core door, with improved seals and sill sweep would let one sleep soundly on.

We have stayed at this Best Western prior and both times, had a pleasant experience. Hotel staff, particularly front desk, are stellar. Room was fine, clean, everything in working order. WiFi and cable TV both fine.

Always friendly, great cookies and excellent housekeeping service when I am a guest for more than one day. The bed was very comfortable, the shampoo and soap were better than expected, the refrigerator did NOT make a terrible noise all night (seems quite uncommon anymore) and the TV was surprisingly modern.

Hotel and room were average. The room was clean and the bed was OK. The highlight was the breakfast. The girl serving the food did a good job. The eggs were fresh and not dried out. Real sausages and fresh baking powder biscuits. Well done. Also, a good cup of good coffee. This really impressed me. I wish every hotel did as good a job with the food.

Simply excellent service and pricing, they made it a point to save me time and money. restful, quite, clean. staff was very helpful in all areas of service. maid service was prompt and caring fo my needs.

Clean, comfortable room, great pressure in the shower, excellent breakfast. Convenient sliding glass door to small patio with gate to parking area from first floor rooms made move in much easier. No elevator to second floor is a drawback when you have lots of luggage. Will definitely stay again.

For business I always stay in this hotel. It is super clean, the help is very friendly, and has an outdoor hot tub/pool. It's got a great location near everything. The help can assist with almost anything you need, food, entertainment and even travel plans.

Travelling with a friend. We loved Wenatchee. Beautiful area. We spent time at the Ohme Gardens. They offered us walking sticks to use which were gratefully accepted. We walked through the historic downtown area. Everyone was very friendly and always willing to help.

Stayed here for a conference. It is an older BW property. Staff very nice, room was clean and comfortable. Main issue is the first impression-carpet in main hallway to rooms and conference room is very dirty and stained. It does not make a good first impression an all, but again, the room seemed very clean. I think I may select another hotel when staying in Wenatchee in the future.

Location : Great - Very good access to all the highways and amenities Rooms : Great - No complaints. Clean and Tidy Breakfast : Good - If you stay more than one night, you get the same breakfast items every day and that will be boring. Coffee is great and Sausages are well made. Service : Terrible - I booked two nights using Aeroplan points redemption. But still they charged my credit card for the room. After repeated calls, they are going to refund my money.(I am still waiting) But since I used a Canadian credit card, I am going to loose money on conversion and exchange rates. All this because of the person at the reception made a mistake on our booking. Really upset.

Six buddies stayed at the Chieftain Inn for a night's stay between golf days. It was Very clean, comfortable, quiet and a great breakfast. I would highly recommend staying there. The staff was friendly. Topped off with fresh homemade cookies.

Have stayed in this hotel for a few times during our visit to Leavenworth or Lake Chelan. Its nice clean place for staying in Wenatchee. It provides a cheaper alternative to paying prices in Leavenworth with just 15-20 min drive. There are lot of other food options available around the hotel.

I've been bringing my family every summer to the Chieftain Inn for the past 4-5 years, outstanding value and a very friendly staff. The pool, hot tub and really good breakfast makes this a great affordable place that works well for us. I'm already booked for the summer 2016.

We spent 2 nights at Best Western Chieftain Inn, Wenatchee, WA. Great location, good value for the money, clean room, friendly service, drinkable coffee(!!!) and decent breakfasts. We can certainly recommend the place.

Room was large, well-appointed (love having a refrigerator), quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Nice to have the Keurig coffeemaker, though I wish they offered tea or hot chocolate. They have no elevator, which was not a problem for us but could be for some people.

We had booked the hotel from New Zealand and were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to find. The instructions from them were spot on. Everything about the hotel was excellent with a very acceptable breakfast and a very nice room. The staff were really great. It was also close to a very acceptable restaurant where we had dinner. It was also very easy to walk to the centre of Wenatchee. We used it as a base for tripping round the area and it was well placed for that.

I liked this hotel. Everyone is more than willing to help and are all very friendly. Any hotel that has chocolate chip cookies, Macadamia nut cookies and cold milk available all hours is okay in my book.

My schedule allowed me to arrive in Wenatchee at 8.35pm and needed to leave at 5am the following morning to catch the Amtrak Empire Builder train to Seattle. I chose the Best Western Chieftain because it was 4 mins by car or a 20 minute walk from the Train Depot. My short stay only provided me with the opportunity to arrive, sleep and leave. I did not use the Internet or Breakfast service, but I was delighted when I arrived to find very good hot cookies at the Reception Desk and 24 hour coffee when I departed at 4.50am The inside areas (Reception, hallways and corridors) of the Hotel to be in need of renovation, but my room (230) was well furnished and equipped, quiet and very clean. I found the King size bed to be very comfortable. I noted when I left that all the Hotels on N Wenatchee Ave (and there are several to chose from) were fully booked on the Thursday evening that I stayed at the Chieftain.

Quite clean rooms that were very comfortable. Sure there are trains but all the hotels on Wenatchee ave have that issue. With a great price from a website that doesn't let you know what hotel you are staying at until after you pay it wasn't but $4 more a night than the flea bag hotel I use to stay at when in town for work. The king bed was very comfortable and the room was appointed nicely. The property is a bit older and it shows in some areas like stains in the carpet in the halls the patch in the carpet in my room and the dated tile in the bath room. The shower has a fancy head on it with several setting that all have no water pressure. I heard good things about their breakfast but I never got to experience it during my work week as they don't set it up until 6:00am, I like a number of other contractors staying there were up and gone by 6, They could put out some pastries or something for us early risers. Overall a good experience and would not hesitate to stay there again.

I wish the price was a little lower but overall a good experience. I like Best Western hotels because they are mostly the same in quality, people and helpfulness. A good item is that they have maps of the local area so we have a choice of amenities around the area and easiness.

On a five night business trip and all 5 nights were at different Best Westerns. Most BW are older locations but they are on a kick to spruce them up. All the locations we stayed had nice upgraded rooms even this one in Wenatchee. What we had not expected were the trains, first one just after midnight, then 2, 4 and 6AM. These are freight trains and even though I had ear plugs in and 2 sleeping pills the vibration of the building woke us up. When I checked out I mentioned the trains and the desk guy said "next time ask for a room up the front of the building, its much quieter". OK its nice that they know that the rooms at the lower end suck but with only a few cars in the parking lot why would they even put people at the noisy end in the first place! Fill up the end away from the tracks first. At my meeting the next morning I mentioned the bad night and everyone agreed that if I had asked they would have steered me to another hotel.

We were here for our grandson's baseball tournament, so we were looking forward to having the grandkids stay with us and be able to swim in the pool. Unfortunately, when we first arrived, the pool wasn't open yet (even though Priceline advertised that it opened April 1st). We were very disappointed....however a gentleman was out working on the pool area and was able to get it opened before we left for the weekend!! It was great fun after a hot day at the baseball fields all day. Thank you to the gentleman who made that happen!! Also, the rooms were spotless and VERY clean. The breakfast was better than most and had some good choices and was plentiful. With all the ball players in the hotel, we thought they'd run out....but NO! Good place to stay. I would highly recommend.

The bed in this room was very comfortable. The rooms atmosphere was pleasant. The overall location to other amenities in town was very good. Breakfast service included two waffle makers, scrambled eggs and fixings for breakfast burritos, coffee, juices, milk, biscuits and gravy, and assorted breads.

I have stayed here several times and I don't have any major complaints. The breakfast is good and the service is excellent. The hotel does need to be renovated soon. Although we didn't hear anything from our neighbors, the fridge fan was terribly loud! We also had a hard time keeping the room at a constant temp. Ended up having to crack the sliding glass door open to cool it off. For the price, it was well worth it!

Very nice and friendly staff. Good and clean rooms. Everything is absolutely as advertised. The breakfast is also nice and overall room rates are economical enough. Have stayed here multiple times and would recommend to everyone.

Internet was so slow that it was unusable. The hotel is extremely clean. The hot tub was a perfect temperature. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast offering were very good. The price is very good as well.

Wrong room, dirty linens, loud facility, rude staff, unresponsive. Far too expensive for essentially a Motel 6 experience. Far too many other options in the area for this to be your choice. The staff need lessons in courtesy and helpfulness.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Bathroom counter burn marks every where, half inch of mold all the way around the tube, burn marks on the lamp shade, no mattress protector only a second sheet. The mattress had stains everywhere along with big lumps where you lay. The mattress had to be 20 years old. Don't stay here.

First time at this hotel and staying in Wenachee. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff, very clean, great breakfast and located within walking distance of the excellent Columbia River trail for jogging, walking and birdwatching and downtown Wenatchee for everything else. Also convenient to Safeway and restaurants. Two lovely spring days in Wenachee.

I did enjoy my stay at the Chieftain Inn. The only problem I encountered was that the shower curtain is not long enough to stay inside the tub, so the bathroom floor was a pool of water after my shower and the bathmat was completely soaked. Seems as though they cut them too short when they were hemming them.

We always pick this motel when staying in Wenatchee. It's not the newest, but we always have found it clean, comfortable, and a good value. Fresh cookies on arrival, very nice beds, and good selection for a "make it yourself" breakfast burrito in the morning, plus much more.

The Best Western Hotel in Wenatchee was quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. They gave us fresh cookies in the evening. The breakfast was a full meal and was awesome. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Went there on are way back from Seattle. Hotel was big. Slept great. Breakfast was amazing. If there was a negative it is that there is no elevator in the hotel. But I really don't think that's a negative as they have stairs. Even have an outside hot tub year round that is amazing. Will return

We were in Wenatchee Washington for a medical procedure that required an overnight stay prior to the procedure. The Chieftain Inn gave a medical discount to stay so that was the main reason we chose to stay there. The hotel was excellent and the services were excellent the breakfast had a good variety and was very well maintained. We felt very well taken care of.

The Chieftain Inn is a great place to stay. It is pleasing to the eye. The lobby is beautiful. The staff is very friendly. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. There was a Keurig coffee maker in the room -- first time I've experienced that.

Stay was as expected. Staff is always friendly and makes me feel welcome. Rooms need better lighting. Breakfast could use more choices. Carpet in some of the rooms needs replacing. I usually get the room I request. I appreciate the warm cookies and newspapers provided.

We have stayed at both the Holiday Inn and the Comfort Suites in Wenatchee, and while this is not as new as those hotels, it is by far a much better value. The rooms at the Best Western are much roomier, and their bed is WAY more comfortable than either the Comfort Suites or Holiday Inn. In addition, the cost is easily $30-$40 cheaper per night! As I mentioned, the Best Western is NOT as new as the others, and their decor is definitely dated, but the value we feel we get at Best Western far outweighs the differences in amenities or decor.

This is often our go-to hotel when we stay in Wenatchee and need to fly out of the Wenatchee airport. Staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. Sometimes however, because it is a non-smoking hotel, the smokers gather outside by the back entrances and their voices are disturbing to the rooms above.

I planned to stay at Best Western Cheiftain for 3 nights, Due to a health issue, I had to check out 1 day early and only paid for 2 nights. I was very pleased. The room was quiet and beds were very comfortable. Appreciate the in room wifi service.

Had to go to Wenatchee on business. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and this time there was no exception with level of service I am used to. I used the exercise room which was on of the best I have seen in a while. They also offer use of the fitness center across the street.

Got the deal ($68 before tax) on Hotwire. Excellent location, beds & breakfast (real eggs are a plus). Wenatchee is a good deal all around. Very happy with the value for quality. Clean all around and responsive service.

Great place to stay. Clean well appointed rooms and friendly staff. Good breakfast in the morning and easy to access from many spots around the building for entry. Close to restaurants and downtown. Stayed in a room with one king bed and the room was huge. Perfect place to spread out.

For the price of the hotel, I was very surprised by the quality of the room. It was clean and the room looked very nice. The beds were comfortable and there was free coffee by the coffee machine. However, the walls are a bit thin and you can hear the neighbors very easily. Not great for light sleepers.

Quality location in a great town! We were looking for a stay in Leavenworth, 30 miles to the West, but the town was booked so we looked for the nearest BW to stay. Rooms were quiet, even being next to the maintenance room and close to vending area we did not encounter any noise issues! Pool was closed for season, but very nice breakfast and comfortable bed. Clean, but needs updating in rooms. Front staff quickly recommended restaurants that were close and some a little further out. This property is a little further downtown than you might imagine, in the center of the city which is quite elongated spread out between the Columbia river to the east and mountains to the west.. On a nice day a walk along the river or down to visit shops in town would be enjoyable!

Check-in staff were great. Breakfast was good (have waffles). My wife is super picky with beds but both her and my son loved them (I can sleep on a rock, so not the guy to ask). Everything was top-notch. Only minor flaw was one outlet in the room did not work. Price was great-- recommend for a cheap trip to Leavenworth (it's only a 25-mnute drive), versus staying in Leavenworth and paying about twice as much for lodging.

We were looking for a getaway from the Seattle area and wanted to ski Mission Ridge we stayed at the Chieftain about 20 years ago and decided to give it a try and are very pleased, Great price, nice big rooms, we will come back!

Average place for the price. Nothing to go home and rave to others, unless a flop house is what you seek. If that, this is your place. Some improvements would be better and extended breakfast hours, with more than the average items that the other Hotels offer in the area. Also, maybe an enclosed Hot tub or Jacuzzi might be a nice upgrade. Also, smiles go a long way in dealing with guests and their hosts.

Was pleasantly surprised by this BW! Great value, very clean room, comfortable bed. Didn't eat breakfast but saw it is your normal expected range/quality. I sleep with earplugs, but apparently you can hear train from the railroad nearby. I had no issues. Got coffee at Dutch Guys something coffee chain. 20 minute drive to the Mission Ridge ski resort. Would stay again for sure.

I stayed here one night with our family while on a road trip up north. We selected this hotel because Best Westerns tend to be consistent and comfortable. On the whole, this one met those expectations. The Service - Average. The staff didn't interact with us much beyond checking us in and out. The Room - The room was nice and clean. The bathrooms are well-appointed. The price was reasonable (I think I paid around $120 all in). Much nicer than some of the more budget options out there. All rooms have a patio or sundeck, which is a nice touch. The Beds - Very soft and comfortable. I slept like a baby, which is something I don't usually do when travelling. The Breakfast - Breakfast was included in our room. It was pretty basic and not that impressive (think cold cereals and luke-warm food under heat lamps). We didn't bother and just grabbed a coffee for the road. The Pool/Spa/Gym - Given that the pool is outdoors and it was snowing out, we didn't partake. I can't imagine a lot of days, even in summer, where someone would enjoy an outdoor pool in a mountain town like Wenatchee. The hotel also had a nice, fireside sitting area, which was very comfortable on a cold winter night. Definitely a good option if your passing through or staying a few days,

The staff here clearly dont care about their jobs or their customers. They are not very polite or welcoming. When I checked in it appeared as though she didnt care that I was there. When I checked out she didnt even acknowledge me standing at the counter just tossed my receipt on the counter.

Location is great. Plenty of opportunities for snow sports close by. Price is very competitive. Staff are excellant. Look forward to making another stay. Hopefully the weather will provide the snow for another trip.

Adequate, clean, large room with comfortable bed. Fan could not be set to run continuously (for gray noise). Big counters in bathroom area, with two sinks (one in by tub, one out in room). Location is not very convenient. Price was high for the quality. Dogs are not allowed. Staff was not welcoming.

Staff friendly & courteous. Breakfast very good. Room comfortable. Needs a comfortable sitting chair. Very clean & no odors. Water in shower hard to regulate. WI Fi was hard to use as it kept sending message that someone could be hacking.

Exceptional service given. I appreciate the staff acknowledgement of my preferences. They try to accomodate me as to the type of room I enjoy and the "hot cookies" are a welcome plus after a long day of work.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Best Western in Wenatchee. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Customer service at all levels second to none. Good location to stay in Wenatchee & close to shopping & many other attractions. Price was very reasonable. Our only concern was a slight lack of hot water to shower & bath, but everything else about this hotel was VG to Excellent in our opinion.

When we checked in, the concierge on duty had friends in the lobby who kept coming over to talk to her while she was "helping" us. I've worked in customer service my whole life and know how important that first impression is, and unfortunately this is what stands out in my mind. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable, my main complaint was that the shower water pressure was so high that it made it almost painful to shower, and the water didn't get very hot. Another downfall is that breakfast is only served until 9:00, so we didn't make it down in time.

The room was clean, the hot water was hot, the TV and WiFi worked, and the staff was helpful. So the Chieftain Inn provided reasonable value. But... the whole place was permeated by the sweet smell of an industrial housecleaning product; the towels were thin and skimpy; and the HDTV didn't deliver an HD signal. An OK place to stay, so it merits a solid "C".

This is my first stay here. What a great surprise. The price was great, very comfortable and good location. Nice cookies, milk and coffee at night. A better than most breakfast with the standards plus make you own breakfast burritos (unfortunately missing the sausage). I stayed here because my usual place was full. This will become my "usual place" for Wenatchee now.

Front desk ladies are very helpful and friendly. We came here for attending swim meet. Staff members were very nice to our young children. It was great to stay. Night complimentary cookies and tea, coffee were definitely plus. It was very quiet to have a good sleep. Breakfast was good enough. They had yogurt, fruits, waffles, bagles, toast, muffins, scramble eggs, breakfast tacos, and so on. 6 to 9 pm complementary cookies and tea, coffee were very nice. Coffee and tea were always available. Newspapers were enough at the front. Quiet and clean even though the building it self a bit old.

Cool little hotel. I liked the fact that each room had a balcony or porch. Get a second room floor for an added sense of square footage as they have vaulted ceilings. Cons (both remove a star each) No elevator. Not a big deal for someone traveling without luggage, but who does that?! Also, Internet is slooooow. Really in need of an upgrade.

The cleanest place I've ever stayed in. Excellent service, room, amenities and location. It was very cold and had no problem keeping warm. The beds were very comfortable and ther was no problems with external noise. Did not use the wifi, however I'm sure it was excellent like the rest of the stay.

I liked this BW for the comfy bed and the great staff. The breakfast area was too small and therefore too crowded. We ate breakfast in our room and then discovered a small sign that mentioned the conference room was available for overflow seating. If you can stand the train noise (I like trains) from across the road, then I would recommend this BW.

I stayed one night at this Best Western. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There are no elevators so if you have a heavy bag, you may want to request a room on the ground floor. Breakfast was just okay, but I did appreciate having a warm choice (scrambled eggs), so that was nice. They also had great cookies available in the afternoon- try the chocolate chip! The location near the Toyota Town Center Arena was great, as was the availability of dining options within walking distance.

A group of us booked a block of rooms for a concert in Wenatchee and they gave us a very good rate for the night. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was average to above average with good selection and plenty of room for guests to eat. Overall we were very pleased with this hotel.

Stayed here during Leavenworth Oktoberfest. We booked late so we only had options in Wenatchee, about 20 miles from Leavenworth. We had pre-booked a Leavenworth shuttle and was disappointed to find the hotel participated in a cheaper shuttle to the event. I wish that information was available on their website. Other than that the hotel far exceeded my expectations. It was clean, modern, and the staff friendly. Full breakfast was included but I cannot comment as we did not eat there. For a budget hotel it feels like a mid range. I would absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed the hotel for the most. Clean rooms, good bed, friendly staff. The only problem is if your room is near the rear of the hotel as ours was you are closer to railroad tracks and can be wakened as we were by trains passing through. Stay toward the front and this may not be an issue.

The first thing you notice when entering the lobby of this Best Western is the yummy cinnamon smell. It was warm and homey. We were staying overnight to be near a family member who had just had an operation. The entire experience with this location was very positive. The staff were accommodating and friendly and were willing to work with a reservation that was a little hard to confirm due to our family's circumstances. Upon check-in, I recalled that i had forgotten to ask for a first floor room (disabled family member) but the front desk shifted rooms for us quickly and with a smile. We had also asked for a roll-away bed. They forgot to deliver it but when we asked again, it was in our room in minutes. Our room was comfortable with a Kuerig and free WIFI. The facility also had a workout room but we didn't have time to use it. The roll-away that was brought in was just what you'd expect..lumpy but sleepable. It collapsed in the middle of the night but that was out fault, we had set it up incorrectly. While the room was not spotless it was acceptable. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with waffles, biscuits and gravy and breakfast burritos. The coffee machine wasn't working right but the staff were immediately trying to fix it. Directly across from our room was an ambulance company. We were worried about noise but never heard a siren our entire stay. I would absolutely stay here again.

My stay at The Chieftain in Wenatchee, Washington was short for a quick business trip. The staff was welcoming and the room was comfortable and clean. I asked for a quiet location of the room, which was provided and I had a quiet short sleep. Will return.

Great place to stay. I usually make 2 trips per year to Wenatchee and this is the only place I stay. Staff is always friendly, professional and helpful. For my trips this is centrally located for many activities, it's easy to find and within walking distance to either fast food or sit down restaurants.

I just can't understand how this hotel has received such great ratings. I decided to book a room here because of the ratings and upon checking in had a good feeling that i would really like this hotel. The first room we were given smelled of cigarettes and i was starting to wonder if i had made a mistake but when we entered the new room she had exchanged for us those fears started to disappear. After settling in i started noticing that the carpets are extremely old and dirty and need to be replaced. Also there are no drawers or towel holders in the bathroom. When we asked where the pool and hot tub were we were told they were located outside. Of course this is Washington state and it was raining so we were unable to go. Will not be back.

We spent the night at the BW Chieftain in Wenatchee. No great problems with the hotel, but didn't get the usual great feel from the staff that I do with my previous stays with BW. Breakfast was heavy on the starches, and no meat to speak of with the meal. Seating was extremely limited.

Very average the room are cleen . the staf are nice and helpfull. Beds could be better. price was a little high but not bad. it is near many restronts . good parking and easy acksess. the TV are updated flat screens the cable networks are not grate but ok . the wyfy was slow and hard to conect

Every employee smiles as you pass by them! Great place to stay, beds are comfy and breakfast is excellent! The WIFI is fast and sliding door is a a big plus! Definitely coming back to this place. BEST WESTERN ROCKS!

We liked the location of this hotel and it was easy to get in and out. There was an area to walk our service dog close by as well as places to eat. We were on Wenatchee Avenue across from an ambulance company and did not hear any road noises.

Staff and service are exceptional, as always here. The ONLY downside to report would be the lack of an elevator in this two story building. I travel a lot throughout the state and when in Wenatchee, WA this is one of the best places to stay for comfort and service.

Stayed for two nights when visiting friends in Wenatchee. We had a room at the rear near the railway line but high quality glazing kept all the noise out. If the air conditioner was quieter, we would have awarded an extra star. Spacious room, good bed (though the pillows could have been better.) The included breakfast was adequate.

We just stayed for one night and found the hotel to be clean and spacious. The lady who checked us in at the front desk wasn't exactly friendly, but the room was very nice and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was sort of okay, the coffe is good. Good value for the price.

I would rate this place a bit above average, but not very good. The check in and check out staff were not the friendliest, but ok. All different people did not smile once. Our room on the bottom floor suffered from noise coming through the ceiling. We switched room to the upper floor and was able to get a better night rest. the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel common areas were clean. Breakfast was ok, typical free breakfast. we would consider staying there again.

Best Westerns are usually a decent value, and are clean and comfortable. The Chieftain Inn certainly met all those values! Our room was spacious, and even included a chair with ottoman, a very nice plus! The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. They have a nice lobby and the desk staff was very friendly. Several restaurants and bars are within walking distance. We didn't get a chance to take advantage of the outdoor pool, but it looked inviting! Free breakfast and off street parking. We would certainly stay here again!

This is the halfway point on my annual birthday pilgrimage to my sister's home in Republic. I've stayed here several times now and am completely happy with the facility and staff. I especially like that I can bring my things in through a sliding glass door/patio area, directly into my room, rather than cart them "miles" through the lobby and down the hall. Good shower, comfortable bed, very nice place to stay.
