    « Location »

Very good location, good price value, good breakfast. Nice and big room. We would definitely choose this hotel again if we come back to Washington DC. Service war also very good, we are very happy with our time there.

« Great centrally located hotel »

Great hotel, good location, nice restaurants nearby. The complimentary breakfast was adequate. The area is adorable with transportation not far away which makes it simple to reach all the local attractions.

« Good value for the cost »

The location is great, and compared to other hotels in the middle of the city the general quality of the hotel was excellent. Food was ok, and the bed was good. The structure of the room was a little bit wierd, but ok.

    « Good value. »

The first impression of the hotel is good, the room was clean, the linen fresh and the staff very friendly. They throw in a nice breakfast that help add value for a traveler. Well situated, walking distance from Dupont station.

    « I would stay here again. »

The Best Western Georgetown Hotel & Suites is kinda old, but the rooms were very spacious. I had a sofa, chair, coffee table, desk, bed, and dresser in my room! That's how spacious it was! My only complaints would be that the shower lever was unfastened and the carpeting was kinda run down. But the continental breakfasts were great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. And I liked how you were only a 5-minute walk to the Foggy Bottom subway station. (There's also a very nice Starbucks down the street--on the way to the subway.) I would stay here again.

    « Comfortable and clean »

Stayed here on a short trip to DC. I picked this particular hotel because the rates were reasonable compared to other hotels. Its probably because is not in the heart Washington DC and on the outskirts in Georgetown. I am glad I picked this place because the neighborhood is nice and there is so much to see and do within walking distance. The staff here were professional and friendly. Helpful when I asked them something. I had a room with a king sized bed and a separate "living room" area that had sofa bed. A kitchenette, that is to say a sink, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and dishes/utensils (no stove), which was a nice feature. The room was clean and comfortable as well as the common area's of the hotel. One of the hotel's elevators was under repair the few days I was there, but it didn't seem to delay going up and down in the second elevator. This hotel is surrounded by taller buildings on 3 sides so, unless your room is at the front (if they have any) of the hotel facing the street, expect to see brick walls for your view. I was out most of the time sightseeing, so I didn't get a chance to really use any of the hotel facilities other than the free breakfast. The breakfast was what you would expect, nothing out of the ordinary, scrambled eggs, various breakfast meat, cereal, toast, coffee, juice, but it was good and the breakfast area was always clean and neat. If you didn't want to go to a restaurant, there is a great Whole Foods market nearby that I went to a few times and brought back food to the hotel. I noticed outside of the Whole Foods there is a public bicycle rental rack also that I would have taken advantage of if I had more time there. There are also lots of shops and stores nearby, a subway station is within a few blocks that you can catch to see all the usual DC sights as well as Arlington and the Pentagon.

    « Great Stay »

I stayed for 4 nights while working at nearby George Washington University Hospital (within walking distance). The staff was friendly and the room was perfect for my needs. The room must have just gotten new carpet as that "new" carpet smell was apparent every time I entered the room. Not a big deal though. Breakfast was good. Breakfast staff was very friendly. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The Foggy Bottom Metro Station is the closest to the hotel.

« I did not stay here, but co-worker did »

I have not stayed at this hotel, but a coworker of mine did and he likes it there. This is his second time there and he asked me for this hotel. Close proximity to our d.c. office and lots of restaurants.

« Great play to stay while visiting DC. »

Excellent location, easy 5 minute walk to Metro and only a 30 minute walk to the monuments. This hotel has a great price, the room is comfortable and the breakfast is good and convenient. I would recommend this hotel.

    « Mixed Bag »

Nice stay at hotel..but.... outdated! Hotel needs a ramp to entrance, Parking pass discount pass did not work!!! Bathroom toiletries weren't always replaced with new ones. Sheets weren't changed daily. Breakfast was pretty good. Some opportunities with this hotel, especially for the price!

« Ceiling full of holes, almost hit in the head by fallen sheetrock »

Besides being a terrible hotel, it is also a very dangerous one too. I booked a room with a king size bed and was given a queen. I called the reception and was moved to a room with the right sized bed but the ac was not working. I was then moved again to another room. By now, I was running a bit late, so I just left my stuff in the room quickly and left. Upon arriving to my room after midnight, when I shut the door a piece of Sheetrock fell right next to me almost hitting me in the head. I then looked at the ceiling and it was full of holes, with many of them closed with masking tape (see photos). At this point I was too tired to change rooms again for a fourth time. I tried for a while to get a refund by contacting best western through emails, I believe I sent about 3-4 of them but eventually gave up. You see no one ever bothered to contact me from the hotel, I guess this issue was not considered important. I would have to say this hotel gets a zero for safety, zero for management, and a zero for room quality. Too bad I can only give 1 star.

    « Bitten by bugs »

This hotel is located in a wonderful location - walking distance to Georgetown and to a nearby metro station. The street where the hotel is located is charming. However, the hotel looks very dingy and in desperate need of updating. * the elevators look like they've taken a beating. The walls are scratched and scraped. * the carpets in the common areas and in the hotel room looked stained and worn * there was no closet in the room I stayed in (208). When I called housekeeping for hangers someone brought me wire hangers with plastic wrap - clearly taken from used dry cleaning. Once I got the hangers I realized there was nowhere to hang them - I had to hang them on the shower bar. * this was the couch in my room (see picture). It looked like it came from someone's attic. * I woke up with bug bites on both ankles * the breakfast, a nice amenity, was mediocre at best. * the bathroom products were subpar. Finally, when I call BW to complain, I was put on hold for 20 minutes. Really dismal customer service. All in all, do whatever you can to stay elsewhere.

« Watch out for construction and poor service »

We stayed here for a wedding and while not expecting anything fancy, we did expect a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to rest between festivities. Unfortunately there was no mention before our stay of the construction replacing carpets during our stay. And when we got there the sign on the elevator incorrectly noted the floors where construction was taking place. We thought we would be safe on the 7th floor only to wake up to pounding on the 8th floor above. The manager seemed to think I was crazy for asking for a significant discount. Like who minds a little construction on a Saturday morning when you are relaxing on vacation. . . .He wanted to give me 10% off; eventually he said 20%. I would have paid much more to have a quiet place to stay but the hassle to move for one more night wasn't worth it. Then when I went to check out he gave us $20 off. . very dishonest. I am positive he said 20% since he originally wanted to offer 10% and $20 off is nothing. The elevators were dirty. There must be no service elevator because the construction crews were using the same ones as the guests, hence dirty from construction materials The air conditioners are old and make noise. The place in general is old, not shabby chic as people have mentioned before There is no room service available that we saw The breakfast was not great When we asked to have a suite dry cleaned, they asked us to stuff it in a tiny bag. . . a $700 suit stuffed into a tiny bag. No thank you. The location is good I will never stay again and we will probably avoid Best Westerns from now on based on this experience.

    « Not what I expected »

For the price that I paid and the other Best Western hotels that I stayed in this one failed in comparison. The staff was good but there was too much going on the first room that I was put in was outdated and smelled musky. The person did offer me a better room and I was somewhat satisfied because I just didn't feel like going to another hotel.

« Excellent stay, very comfortable, though decor a bit dated »

Stayed one night in a business trip. Initial impressions are that the decor is in real need of updating (in fairness, I think they were about to start putting new carpets in) But looking past that, the staff were very welcoming, the room spacious with a separate living area, and the bed incredibly comfortable - perfect for someone having just walked off a transatlantic flight.

« Average hotel with good location »

we've stayed for 1 night while visiting Washington DC. Pros: location, includes breakfast, room was clean and free wifi. the room has a small kitchenette. Cons: the decor is dated, needs some renewal, both in rooms and public area. Carpet needs to be switched. Although it includes breakfast, it should be served in a better place, once we took breakfast in a meeting room.

« Ok for short stays »

The bed is confortable and the room I got really Big. Bathroom renewed. The breakfast options and room the weakest. Also there was no Internet working assume was just that day. No ramp in the entrance nor in the lobby.

    « Holiday stay »

Lovely hotel we have stayed here before two elevators, continental breakfast with a good variety of choices. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Hotel is approximately a10min walk from Foggy Bottom Metro and about 10/15min walk from DuPont Circle Metro .. Very handy! Free wifi in rooms &rooms have a microwave coffee machine & a fridge also cutlery & crockery for two people. There is a storage room for your luggage if you're traveling after check out and a seating area for you to use as well. Nothing was any problem for the staff. Would recommend!!

    « Average Facility - Good Location »

Just remember the word "average" and you will set your expectations appropriately. Breakfast, service and the room/suite are as basic and vanilla as one can find. On the positive side, (1) the suite was a good size and allowed for a bit of movement. (2) The master bed was very comfortable. (3) The location, for our needs, was excellent. (4) The parking fee of $27 per night was reasonable - although the parking was a block away. On the not so positive side, (a) the kitchenette was extraordinarily small - maybe 2 1/2 feet across, but it was there... (b) The bathroom was small. Maneuvering (shower and sink) around the toilet was not comfortable. The bathroom had a window that opened for air, but with August comes 95 degrees and high humidity. There was no other ventilation. (c) The breakfast was not edible for me, but my family ate. The food is the low-quality breakfast you may find in some hotels. (d) The 'sofa bed' was so old and springy, my son slept on the closed sofa. (e) The TVs are small - and the nice size room, made the TVs feel even smaller. Half the channels had poor reception. The hotel 1st floor only had 8 or so rooms and we did not hear other guests.

    « Family holiday. »

This is in a great location to explore Washington DC. The room was clean but it needs updating. There are holes cut into the ceiling & parts of the carpet were threadbare. The staff are helpful & the complimentary breakfast was very good. Close to the Metro & restaurants. Lovely walk able city.

    « Good Deal for Washington D.C. »

TV Monitor came out with static, black and white no color. Hot water in shower took some amount of time, water drainage was slow in shower, internet was not high speed...otherwise for $140 per night, I cannot complain. The location is prime though. Restaurants nearby were impressive. And historical landmarks were within walking distance of a couple of miles.

« Decent value for this area »

Short walk from Foggy Bottom metro station, and convenient to various bus lines and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast buffet included hot food. Good value for the location. I just wish the hallway corridor was air conditioned.

    « Good Value »

Nice, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Was a little disappointed that a Panda Pkg was advertised but was not available. In an excellent location and restaurants nearby. The kitchenette made it possible to eat take out comfortably in the room with the kids.

    « I didn't like this hotel »

Rooms need to be updated. Air conditioning was noisy. The kitchenette is tiny. Staff was not too friendly. There is no ramp to carry the luggage, only stairs in the entrance. Breakfast was average or below, and served in a basement. Location is great.

    « Great upgrade! »

Second visit to this hotel. We leave about 3 hours from DC so when we visit the Nation's capital I like to stay over, missing traffic. The continental breakfast was fabulous, offering southern style biscuits and gravy along with make your own waffles and pancakes. Brdroom was missing light switch face plate. Small kitchen area. Nice view of Georgetown University. Problem with folio which should be resolved soon, hopefully. Will update if not corrected.

« Ideal to visit Washington »

It's a good Place to stay for few days if you need to come and visit Washington. It's full of supermerkets and restaurants around and just few steps from The White House. We Enjoyed staying in a 2 double bds room, it was clean but maybe breakfast could be better. I suggest this hotel if you need to discover such a beautiful city.

    « Wouldn't recommend »

Stayed here overnight for visiting DC colleges. Thought I'd try to save a little money - bad decision. This is a damp, rundown hotel. Breakfast was horrible, poor rood and camped searing, and in the basement. Room was damp, tiny bathroom, and not nearly as clean as I prefer. Parking was a pain because it was done by myself across the street at the Ritz. Tip - spend a few dollars more and get parking and cleanliness within the same few blocks.

« No concept of customer service »

    1. I was not allowed an early check-in, as a Gold member. 2. I asked for 2 beds at check-in at 11 am (traveling with a friend). I left my luggage and went into town. Upon return, I was told that there was only one room left with one bed. 3. The room was not cleaned the next day, even upon request. The housekeepers went home by the time we returned Sunday evening and unavailable. 4. My room was given to another family on day two. They walked in as I was about to shower. 5. The TV had horrible picture. Very fuzzy. Couldn't watch the Olympics. 6. No manager on duty for 2 days.

    « Good price »

I stayed here with my daughter while visiting the sites. I chose this hotel based on it had free breakfast and it cost lot less than other downtown DC hotels. The hotel is in an older building. Its not super close to the metro, but not that far (Id say just shy of a half mile). Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but we were able to have our luggage put up while we ventured out. The breakfast was the typical free breakfast that most hotels serve. As others have mentioned...its served in the "basement" and is a little tight with all the guests eating, but its clean. The room was fairly updated and the air was cold. I really liked the kitchenette in the room. We got pizza one night and brought back leftovers and put it in the fridge and reheated it the next night for dinner as they have plates in the room as well. Only downside I can think of is there's no pool or hot tub.

« used this hotel 4 times total »

rooms are on the small size, carpet looks to need cleaning or replacing, breakfast offers everything you could ask for, staff is very friendly, elevators are fast, location to foggy bottom metro is excellent, and the free shuttle from Kennedy Center

« Great location and a spacious room »

The hotel has a great location close to Metro, restaurants og all of the sights - and only 5 stops away from DCA airport. It's in a very nice and safe neighborhood. The staff is very helpfull and and kept our luggage after check-out before we went to the airport. The room was big og clean and had a little kitchen in the corner and a small table for dining that made it possible to eat takeout in the room (and that came in handy since we were traveling with a 5 year-old). The breakfast was better than the average hotel breakfast, even though we could have wished for the staff to fill up the different things a bit faster - but in my opinion it's a luxury problem. I would definitely stay here again if I'm returning to DC and would recommend this hotel to other families traveling with kids.

« Good location for base for sight seeing »

It is within walking distance of the National Mall and Lincoln Memorial. Even a hop on hop off bus stop about two blocks away. Comfortable surroundings. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Parking lot was across the street at the Ritz Carlton. Fee was added on to our motel bill. Worked well. Rooms were fine. Nothing special. No view from window but we weren't there to stare out the window. Breakfast was good. Lots of variety. Plenty of seating with lots of patrons.

    « Average »

First night terrible, the rest of the nights were ok. Air conditioning make too much noise. Pillows were uncomfortable. I will recommend anyone to check with the person you make the reservation to ensure everything in the rooms are functional and can accommodate your needs. Very good location for the hotel, but room's equipment need to be updated.

« Great value and location »

Overall great experience especially since location is outstanding Hotel clean and including breakfast helps make it a good value. Definitely a plus that there were Queens as opposed to doubles. Also discovered that there is a washing machine and dryer for guest use after we arrived. Wish the hotel had a bar!

    « BW Georgetown - Sister trip »

Four of us sisters traveled to DC for our third trip. We enjoyed our stay at the BW Georgetown. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful each morning. My only complaint was the $27.00 daily charge for parking and it was across 2 streets from the hotel.

    « best_western_dc_goergetown »

Having stayed in other best western location my expectations were different. Room wasn't clean and very tiny. Very old furniture and room stinking. But hotel staff was friendly and helpful and location was good.

    « Pros and cons »

We stayed for 3 nights while my husband was on a course. Convenient location and within walking distance of good restaurants and tourist sites. Newly renovated bathroom but the bedroom needs a revamp though. Our carpet had rips in it and the couch was terrible it had rips in it and totally overdue to be replaced. Bed was comfortable but too big for the space it was in. Breakfast was reasonable, no facilities to cook in the kitchenette in the room , only a microwave and coffee machine. Parking is offsite and quite complicated and only self park. The first 2 nights were reasonable rates but the 3rd night was exorbitant and we should have moved to another hotel. We should have done more homework. Ask for a room with a view as some of the rooms look into a brick wall. Some of the receptionists were not very friendly.

« Excellent location but forgettable experience »

Walked to Spanish Embassy for business. Walked to Lincoln Memorial at night with no problem. Beds were terrible! Receptionists could use a little reminder about the importance of polite service at the very least.

« Nice place for a short sojourn to explore the capital »

From Buffallo we came to washington. We just looked at the reception and found the name best western. We called the limo and it was there in 3 minutes. The hotel was centrally located. Close to the railway station. From here we were able to complete our tour of Smithsonian. The food was okay. The rooms were pretty small, but okay for one night stay.

« Not worth the price »

If you're looking for a 1 night stay and can't find any other accommodations, stay here. Otherwise, pay a little extra and stay elsewhere. The staff is nice, but the quality of the hotel, food, rooms, etc. are not that good. The bathroom was remodeled, that was nice.

« Convenient and great staff »

We've enjoyed several stays at Best Western Georgetown Hotel & Suites. We had a few issues, but each issue was dealt with promptly and courteously. Great customer service, though the price through Expedia was double what we should have paid.

« College check in visit »

Spent the night here with my daughter the holiday inn is a little bit a quick claim service was very quick and friendly the room was large two queen beds big TV free Wi-Fi. The Holiday Inn is a very convenient location in the heart of Foggy Bottom near restaurants and shopping

    « no-frills »

Use this hotel if you want a no-frills stay in DC. The hotel recently updated the bathrooms but the entire hotel needs to be renovated. The decor and outside of the hotel are in serious need of updating.

« Good location, awful beds. »

Great location for catching the Metro and doing sightseeing. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. A little outdated on the décor. Bathroom was updated and that was a plus. Beds were soooo hard! One bed had a plastic liner under the sheets that crinkled every time we rolled over. Hard to sleep with that noise. And what in the heck is under the plastic? Are they protecting us from that, or the mattress from guests? Ick. Staff was friendly and helpful enough. Nice breakfast.

    « Good location Hotel »

this hotel has a great location, walking distance to several atracctions as georgetown, monuments, good breakfast and wifi was very good as well. small room but confortable. Metro station very close to get to other atracctions like the zoo.

    « Comfortable, great location »

We stayed at this hotel in May 2016 for 5 days. We had a group traveling together so had 3 rooms. Each of the rooms were set up differently. We all paid for suites with 2 queen beds. Two of the rooms had queen beds, our room had full size beds but was supposed to have Queen. The beds were very comfortable but I was disappointed with having to sleep in a full size bed for several days when we are used to a King. Our room came with a very comfy couch which I ended up sleeping on (not a sofa bed) two nights. The other two rooms did not have a couch and the beds were separated by a half wall. The way our room was configured with the couch, it ended up being a great gathering place for the group. There were 3 of us staying in our room and it is plenty big for 3 or 4 people. My biggest complaint besides the bed issue is the bathrooms. All of the rooms had the same bathroom and they are tiny. Barely big enough for one person to get ready, no place to put your stuff, no counter just a rim around the sink, We kept knocking things off trying to get ready. The shower head was incredible though - definite points for the shower! There was also a loud fan noise that you could hear running all of the time, I never figured out where it was coming from and nothing to do but wear earplugs. The rooms were very quiet to outside noise. I never heard neighbors or anyone in the hallway and except for sirens, it was pretty quiet to street noise except garbage day. The staff was friendly for the most part and the breakfast was good - not gourmet but for free hotel breakfast, pretty good and lots of choices. Great having a table and chairs, and kitchenette in the room. Our windows faced a brick building so that was disappointing, The hotel is in a great location where you can walk to the White House, Georgetown, restaurants and stores. Walgreens is a block away too. It is a bit difficult hauling suitcases up the stairs into the hotel but there are only about 5 or 6 stairs, Kudos for the housekeepers, I have stayed in several hotels lately as I travel a lot for business and pleasure and this was the first hotel in a while that I haven't had complaints with the housekeeping. They did a great job! I saw lots of reviews that the place is rundown, It is an older hotel but everything I saw was clean and in good repair. It feels historic but does not smell or look rundown. We normally stay at the Hilton Garden Inn a block away but they had jacked up their prices really high for GW grad weekend so we found this place who had reasonable prices. I would stay here again if I needed to but due to the small bathrooms, would likely go elsewhere. It is a bit of a deal breaker for us unfortunately when there are so many great hotels to choose from.

« Comfortable, Good Service, Good Amenities »

The Best Western Georgetown was an excellent choice for a two-night business trip. The location was convenient for transportation (metro and walking), and the neighborhood pleasant. The staff was very helpful, allowing me to check in as soon as a room was ready. The room itself had many nice features, including a sitting area, microwave and refrigerator, and both a desk and small table. It felt like lots of space for a city location. The decor was good, not overly luxurious, but the finishes had been recently upgraded --VERY nice shower, and nice bedding. I will definitely look here first for my next stay.

« A good value that is nicely located »

Stayed here for a few nights as I was looking for something in the Georgetown area. Nice, clean good value. Attentive staff and an elegant, old school building. Good location within walking distance from many places. Would stay here again.

    « Washington Trip »

I would recommend this hotel, we arrived early and they were helpful with storing our bags. The parking lot for this hotel is shared with the Ritz Carlton which is about a block away but the hotel has space in front to load and unload bags. We parked our car and left it there and used the METRO to go downtown, the station is about 2 blocks away and the ride takes less than 10 minutes. Because we were returning late we took a cab back to the hotel from Union station and the fare was less than $20.

« Good value ,clean and welll appointed »

good choice the suite was clean, the bed comfortable and the towels and sheets where fresh, not tired, snow white, all that I expect from a hotel, but they are offering more : their famous breakfast, free room internet with good connections, nice furniture, and a big screen tv(plate,if interested )

    « We had a wonderful stay! »

We stayed four nights in this hotel, the location is great, it has a lot of eateries nearby plus the Whole food market. Two of the four days we stayed, they offered fresh fruits for breakfast, all the other breakfast items are typical american. The staffs are so polite and helpful, we will definitely stay again in this hotel if we are in the DC area.

« Large room and good location »

We had 2 queen beds in a very large room, with a sitting and kitchen area, super comfortable and clean. It does get a little hot in the room, but did not mind at all. The breakfast was average, the room located on the lower ground floor, looked a little messy. We came down one morning at 9.10am, on which all hot food was finished, it took another 20 mins to have the food replenished, a minor issue but still irritating. Location of the hotel is ideal, you can walk to Lincoln Memorial in just 15 mins on your left leaving the hotel. If you are a keen walker, you could easily walk from Lincoln Memorial to Capitol Hill. I recommend Grillfish restaurant not far from hotel, service is excellent, the food is tasty, otherwise go to Rumors a few minutes walk from hotel, really good food, super tasty!

    « Ok »

The room was clean. They didn't have our room ready at 5pm when we arrived but it was ready soon after. However they then tried to put someone else in our room as well. A bit unnerving sitting in your room and having someone walk in with a key. Breakfast was good and hot.

« Not worth the price vs parking inconvenience »

The parking is around the block, way out of the way. No service of getting your bags to your hotel when parked under the Hyatt Regency. Not the best set up I've ever seen. The area if your room is on the street side can and was very noisy not so much from the traffic but the noise of people outside even on the fourth floor.

    « enjoyable stay »

Had a great stay at this hotel. Room was very spacious for 3 people. Nice neighborhood. Walked to White House and Smithsonian's. Great breakfast. Clean modern rooms. Very pleasant, nice staff. Would definitely stay there again.

    « Convenient and clean »

Very conveniently located hotel. Within walking distance to George Washington and Georgetown restaurant district. Took uber or the metro to see the touristy sites. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The cons of this hotel were that there was no swimming pool or hot tub and that the breakfast menu never seem to change during our 4 day stay.

    « stay...... »

It is is a good location for both stay and accessing the metro and other shopping services. a good place for both leisure and business. The reception and the cleaning staff are professional. they are always willing to assist.

« Our stay in Georgetown »

Great location for seeing the sights of DC. Very comfortable beds. Quiet. Pleasant staff. Pretty good buffet breakfast with a nice variety. The internet was not very fast, but it was adequate. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

    « Hotel site »

I have been at the hotel and stayed four seven days. the site of the hotel was very far from conference center and there was transport problem. But was very much clean. had it been in the center of town it would have been excellent. their service quality was some what at average standard. in relation to best Western the employee of the hotel were less polite.

    « College Pick-Up »

The hotel was a good value for the DC area. Was in an excellent location to restaurants, etc....Nice that breakfast is included, so one less meal to worry about. Parking was shared with the Ritz across the street, so that was also convenient at a discounted rate.

« Such friendly staff, large room, quiet, great value »

thanks to all the staff for looking after me well during my 2 nights in Georgetown, I found the hotel very friendly and convenient and the bed was comfortable, room clean etc. it could do with updating but that is a minor issue compared to the quality of staff and service

« Nice Stay at a Reonalble Price »

I saved my company some money while in DC for a meeting. The region is pretty expensive overall, but my total cost for 2 days at this BW was what I found on average for just one day at other properties. And it was very close to my ultimate destination (The National Restaurant Association)

« Good location good value »

Stayed three nights and it was great. One of the only hotels that does breakfast - and it's a good spread. The receptionists where great especially Tara. They where very friendly and helpful. In the rooms there is a microwave and a fridge. The only down side is the decor is very dated but clean. There is wifi in all the rooms.

« Immaculate, spacious and superb location »

We stayed at this hotel several years ago and liked it. In the passing years, Best Western has improved it substantially. The rooms are quite large and ours was immaculate. Everything worked as it should and WiFi was strong, never had any serious issues with it, much better than my typical hotel service. Daily cleaning service was unobtrusive and effective. The complimentary breakfast good and the staff there kept it well stocked even when near the end of its service time. All staff were friendly and willing to provide any help, from the cleaners through the desk personnel. We had a minor issue, clock was still on standard time, and it was fixed while we were out, did not have to ask twice. I use my cellphone for am alarm, not a serious problem. Parking does cost extra (currently $27/day) and is a block away, but the agent at the desk made the cost clear and provided written directions on driving to the garage, which is under the Ritz. While staying there, our car never moved, used the Metro, the nearest station was 10 minutes away at a slow walking pace. In all, it was a very good place to spend several days on vacation in Washington, would keep it at the top of my list for a return trip. Lots of good restaurants within a short walk.

« Probably best value in DC »

Really no complaints. Hotel was nice and clean, a lil outdated, but you don't go to DC to stay in the room all day. Approx 15 minute walk from the white house, and if walking isn't your thing, a 5 minute walk to either of two different metro stations. For the location, you wont find a better deal Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, had a microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, nice sitting area with a bedroom separate by a partition. Parking is a bit high, at 27 dollars a day, as its not owned by BW. There is a parking garage on the corner at M street that we booked through parking panda for 28 dollars for two days ( just don't have in and out privileges, but we walked and used metro anyway) The free breakfast was fine. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, muffins, pancakes, cereals, oatmeal, danishes, coffee... I can go on and on. Not sure why some people have issues with it, it was perfectly fine. There was a couple ladies working there constantly replenishing stuff and cleaning up after guest. All in all, a great hotel with a great location. You cant find a suite in DC, with free breakfast, in a great location like this... And don't forget the free WIFI either :)

« Great stay and location. »

We would definitely stay here again. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and new bathrooms. Nice to have the kitchenette (sink, microwave, and mini fridge). Great to have the deluxe continental breakfast included. Short walk to Foggy Bottom Metro. Old Town Trolley hotel shuttle at the Renaissance Hotel DuPont located right next door. Circulator bus stop to Georgetown/Dupont Circle 1/2 block away. Easy to get to Georgetown. Would recommend BTS (Burgers, Tap, and Shakes). We had burgers, a salmon burger and shakes. Very good. Also, recommend Stoney's and the Chinese restaurant. All three located close to the hotel. Definitely consider this hotel. Great value, location, and staff.

« Basic hotel in a great location »

Stayed here for business and not overly impressed. Let's start with the positives... The location is great. Easy to get to the Metro or busses and cabs are plentiful too. One of the nearest restaurants is the Grill Fish which was excellent - very fresh fish cooked beautifully and I recommend the calamari with ginger! The room I had ( described as a single suite) was a large room with a very small table in it and one chair. The others may well be better but this was no suite! The staff are typically polite and try hard to help but couldn't tell me where to catch one of the local buses. Breads fast is free. There is a reason it's free. In my opinion the ' hot food' was poor, the sausages so salty, eggs luke warm and rubbery. The breads we're good with a good variety and two toasters that both worked! The best bit was watching a business man with a ruck sack who filled his bag with fruit and yoghurt a each morning, thinking that no one else had spotted what he was doing! The biggest disappointment for me was there is no on site restaurant or bar. You have to go out for both, which is a pain if you have been working all day. No where to sit and have a drink. Overall it was ok ( clean, comfy beds large rooms ) but not somewhere I would return to.

    « Not great »

This an adequate but not great hotel. There are Better hotels available at the price if you book early enough. The hotel needs modernization and updated painting, carpet, etc. The hotel is convenient for the metro and Georgetown university

« Nice location and staff »

Convienient to restaurants and bars, Metro station, and bus transportation. Very quiet location. The rooms are not large, but contain everything nescessary. The free breakfast includes hot food and is pretty tasty for hotel food. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and pleasant. I would stay here again. P.S. The Chinese restaurant on the corner is awesome. Try their flaiming volcano.

    « hotel review »

This hotel is in an excellent location. The hotel was clean, the rooms were partially refurbished... bathrooms done beautifully. The room should be painted but the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast room was clean and cheerful. The hostess was extremely attentive. Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant and I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

« Great location and service »

Stayed there several night with a co worker on business. We arrived just before midnight. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout stay. Suite was clean and comfortable. Great location for restaurants. Only issue was wireless internet was spotty so we used or business hot spot. But overall nice hotel and friendly and accommodating staff

    « Great Value »

DC hotel prices can be really high so this place is worth remembering. It is clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was included. Easy walk to GW made it a great choice for us. We were in a first floor room and it was very quiet. Wifi worked very well.

    « Affordable and safe »

Stayed for four nights on business. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Full continental breakfast. Parking in the underground garage across the street is inconvenient, but otherwise, hotel was fine. Located one block from Starbucks and several good restaurants. Short walk to Metro.

    « Good base »

Good sized rooms, clean, everything you need for an extended stay, and a great location with Dupont Circle walking distance one direction and Foggy Bottom walking distance in the other. Free breakfast every morning is a nice bonus.

« Great hotel and location »

Great clerks and breakfast, great location for restaurants, Georgetown and sightseeing in Washington DC. Will definitely look to stay here again. Had to watch the toilet because it was running, but quiet room and location in the hotel.

    « Great time in Washington,DC »

Hotel is in a great location and is very comfortable.Lobby is small but perfect for meeting someone, Large guest room had table and chairs and a mini kitchen nice for late night cocoa. Free breakfast was simple but sufficient. Staff very friendly and helpful.Even have computer and printer available for guests.

    « Great Location »

The hotel is an above average hotel - with a fair rate. Location is excellent. It is walkable to Georgetown, GW University and even the White House (10 minutes away). The hotel is getting fairly worn - but even with that I'd recommend it. Staff was helpful and courteous. Parking across the street at another hotel's underground lot. WI FI worked well. Continental breakfast was OK. My room on the 4th floor was quiet. Fairly quick elevators.

« Best value and quality »

I did a lot of searching to find a reasonably priced, yet quality, hotel on a weeknight that's typically expensive. Most places were exorbitantly expensive on the night I needed. I canceled a reservation at a cheaper hotel with low customer ratings in order to book here for about $45 more. I'm extremely glad I made that decision! I had the peace of mind of staying at a reliable hotel and had a great room at a sane price. I highly recommend it!

« Great Location! Comfortable Beds! »

We stayed here for 5 nights on a family trip to DC. The location was fantastic! Quick walk to the metro and walkable to the Lincoln Memorial. The staff was very nice. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!! The included breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was amazing as well. The rooms are a little dated but the bathrooms have been recently upgraded and the beds were sooo comfortable which was a relief after a busy day of sightseeing.

    « OLD »

The Hotel is just old and needs updated BAD!!! I've stayed at a lot of Best Westerns and have made them my primary Hotel of chose but if this was my first experience I wouldn't of. Most of Best Westerns though are really good but for some reason this one just hasn't been updated and the windows and wall are old and you can hear every thing.

« family vacation with kids »

good location near subway-food-attractions,friendly hotel staff, good breakfast-everyone got their choice of food. would consider coming here again, had great fun during whole vacation including stay at hotel.

    « Location, Location, Location »

Perfect hotel in close proximity to Historic Georgetown, DuPont Circle, and the metro. Lots of shopping and restaurants are nearby. This hotel also had excellent, friendly service staff in check-in, check-out, and at breakfast. We had a very nice room with two queen beds, a small kitchen area with a table and chairs. Liked being on the top floor so we didn't hear much noise at night. We definitely will stay here again when visiting Washington DC.

« Great room and service »

We usually stay at Best Westerns when we travel and this one was one of the best. The room was great and the staff very friendly. They helped out with printed directions for where we wanted to go. The breakfast had quite a few choices like eggs, sausage, pancakes, and toast. I would really recomend

    « Service »

Excellent service with fast check-in and check-out. It is so easy to call a taxi. Delicious breakfirst, fast in-room wifi, large bed, the location is very convenient. The environment is very quite. There are several restaurants around the hotel.

    « Business Trip »

Great location in Georgetown, quick taxi ride from Washington National airport, good location to restaurants and activities. I especially like the feeling of being safe while walking to restaurants. Check in was painless and the staff was welcoming, breakfast in the morning was hot and good.

    « Great value »

Much less expensive than the place next door, but the room was great. Location is great, 1 mile to the Lincoln Monument, and Du-Pont circle is just up the road. The Georgetown campus and Foggy bottom are also right outside the door. Will stay again.

« Decent breakfast and location »

Staff were somewhat helpful and rooms were clean. Plumbing fixtures seemed old but bathroom very clean. Breakfast was very good and very filling. Great start to the day when you have a good breakfast. Lots of food places around for dinner. Carpet looked worn. DC residents arent really that friendly. Expect cold shoulders wherever u go. About 20 mins walking to the tourist locations, but a good location nevertheless.

    « Good Choice »

Very Friendly Staff - greet you with big smiles and cheerful attitude. Good Georgetown location with walking access to a good selection of restaurants. Breakfast was convenient and free! Good affordable choice for visits to Georgetown University.

    « Exceptional value »

Solid experience here - location was prime and rate was very affordable. Our room was a corner room so very small, remodeling in progress so a noisier than we would have wanted. Poor TV reception but solid internet.

    « Pot filled Hallways »

Would not recommend and will never stay again. The "city" view is a joke. Check in person could have cared less about his job. Entire hallway of floor smelled like weed. Parking is in a separate hotel parking facility and cost $27 a day.

« Good Location and well kept »

I booked the "accessible" room, which I believe was a mistake, as there was no sitting area, just a bed and some straight chairs. This was kind of a disappointment, but the rest of the stay was fine. The room has a small annexed kitchen with a microwave, fridge, sink and coffee maker which was kind of nice. It's about 5 min walk to GWU hospital where the Foggy Bottom metro station is. We bought a short trip metro week pass so we used this a lot. The breakfast was good - typical cereal, toast, eggs, yogurt and fruit, all fresh and they seemed to keep it well stocked. Only downside was that CNN was on the breakfast room TV with the volume up, which I found quite intrusive. Maybe put on the CC and turn the volume down?

« Great hotel in a good location »

Location is very good, you don't need a bus or Metro. Large room but a quite small bathroom. The breaktfast is good for American standards (toast bread, yoghurt, cereals, pancake machine, fresh fruits, ...) It was the only Hotel on our trip, where we got real plates and cutlerey (and not paper plates or plastic cutlery)

    « Excellent Customer Service »

My husband had a 3 day medical procedure located across the street from this Best Western. The customer service skills of every staff member are excellent. The location is great. Everything you need is within walking distance. I will recommend this Best Western and stay there again when we return to DC.

    « Friendly attentive staff »

My daughter left teeny tiny earrings at our hotel room and the staff, upon several repeat searches, were able to find them. I really appreciated their attentiveness and persistence in the search for them, and think that the staff is tops. I would definitely recommend a stay at any Best Western based on the helpfulness and kindness of the staff at the Georgetown location.

    « A bit dated. »

I booked a few days in advance of my stay and it was expensive which accounts for my average rating otherwise would rate 3 to 4. I had a suite with small kitchen, microwave and kettle which was good and would be economical for long stays. The room was quiet, comfy but dated. I did not expect the pretty good complimentary buffet style breakfast, a nice wee bonus. Walk less than a mile down the nearby 23rd Street and you arrive at the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial and other famous attractions, I went both day and night and it seemed safe enough. Plenty shops, restaurants in the area .

    « Good hotel! »

Best Western is a very good hotel, it is well placed and near from all facilities (bus, metro). The room has a lot of space, the quality of service is nice. The personnal is grateful and pleasant. The breakfast is also nice, but it had once a salad fruit, and then the other days it had no more.. the personnal at breakfast is the nicest! One problem, is that our room was placed near a generator/ventilation outside, which made a lot of noise, and sometimes it was disturbing at night.

    « Good value in D.C. »

Getting a 2-QN "suite" in D.C. within walking distance to the Mall for less than a Benjamin Franklin during the first week of the year was a bargain and good value. Yes, the hotel is "worn" all over, visible on carpet, furniture etc., but generally acceptable. The advertised "suite" is just an extended room with a kitchenette. A small bathroom and small toilet, but good water pressure in the shower and immediate hot water. TV reception left to be desired and poor internet download speed. Good hot and cold food selection for breakfast in a crowded, sub-basement seating area. Attentive servers replenished buffet and cleaned tables promptly. Since it was new Year's week, still many European tourists here - who probably felt comfortable in this smaller, "cozy" hotel. Five minutes from Foggy Bottom subway station (to Reagan airport), 15 walking minutes to White House. This arrangement worked well for a Father and Son 5-day exploration of D.C. I would be back if travelling by myself. But if I bring my Lady, I would upgrade.

« Good breakfast, nice people, rather run down »

This hotel is rather run down. The people are nice, the breakfast is good, and some rooms are better than others. Room 104 is small and run down, with a mini fridge, microwave, and sink squeezed in. The king rooms I think are nicer and a little bigger. There was a plastic coating on the floor of the elevator which was ripped up. I suppose the benefit is that you get a free breakfast, and the cost is cheaper than the other hotels in the area. It costs $27 per day to park at a parking garage a few blocks away.

« Clean, well maintained. But dated. »

Front desk (one person) was friendly. The medium sized lobby reminded me of an old hotel with marble everything. But, if you like people watching, you'll be disappointed. There is not much to the lobby. The elevator floor had a weird plastic wrap-like on it, but it was seriously wearing off in sheets. I think it was to protect the marble-like flooring. Admirable if the plastic protect sheeting didn't look like crap. The room was OK. It was large, with a "sitting area? separate, sort of, from the sleeping area. One TV to serve both areas... on a lazy susan. The room is dated. It appears well maintained and clean, but dated. The couch is quite a few years overdue for replacement. The drapery header looked like something from the 70s. But again, the room was clean and well maintained. The pictures don't show it, but the walls were a dingy yellow. Think of walls with years of nicotine. (They don't allow smoking, and there were no signs, no odor of smoking.) I like bright, natural light-filled rooms. Not a description for this room. My view was the backside of an apartment building. Kind of a close-up view. The television, maybe was a digital TV, but was clearly served by an analog antenna system- the picture was very, very snowy. I haven't seen such a poor quality picture in years. No HBO or other premium movie channel. The layout of the room was weird. If I sat at the desk to work, I had to look back over my shoulder to see the TV or daylight. Pick one- Work at the desk or watch TV. There is one electrical outlet at the desk. Again, pick one- plug in the computer, recharge a phone, etc. Internet access (wireless) is slow. The hotel has no on-site exercise facilities. If I had realized this before I made the reservation, that would have been a show stopper. Lesson learned. The continental breakfast is pretty standard- scrambled eggs, sausage patties and links, real fruit juice, yogurt. There was a peel fruit salad. Nothing added, just good fruit. The woman attending to the breakfast area was very nice, very concerned that the guests were satisfied. What good is a ?business center?, if the one and only printer is out of order? Of course the only way to discover this is by waiting for the printer to complete ?initializing?, and wait, and wait...... Overall, I will not stay at this hotel again. If I can't afford a better hotel I'll stay out at Crystal City and take the Metro every day.

« Good hotel location in DC »

Great hotel - tried out both the king bed and family (2x queen bed) room option on our recent visit. Free breakfast great with staff helping out when table space was scarce. Fridge/microwave a great bonus for travelling families. beds are really comfortable. rooms on New Hampshire road are light and airy but can be a bit noisy as located near hospital. rooms located at the back of the property not as light but very quiet. All rooms quire spacious for family use.

« Excellent! Worth it for the price »

Got a decent price. Very good location and close to all the sights. Quite pleased with the accomodations. Spacious rooms and great free breakfast. The internet was a little slow though. However, we didn't spend much time at the hotel so it didn't bother us much.

« Good service and convenient location »

I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was very clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The AC was working quietly. The offer complimentary breakfast which is very good and offers a variety of things for different expectations. I definitely recommend this hotel.

    « Impressed my husband! »

I found and booked this hotel for our trip - his first to DC. We drove up from visiting the Virginia shore - I called en route to confirm our arrival (with a very nice young lady whose name I cannot remember!) and were warmly greeted by Dominique. He checked us in and arranged parking. We could not have been happier with our accommodations. Nice room, nice staff, near Metro. Not fancy, but neither are we.

« Good location and nice bedrooms »

Location is great, every monument is at a walking distance. take half a day to see them and 1.5 days if you want to visit the museums. Breakfast is really okay. BBedrooms are big and clean. The only negative point is at the reception. The person bearly said a word for the checkout.

    « Pleasantly Surprised »

I really enjoyed my stay and was pleasantly surprised about the free breakfast. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast offered many options but coffee quality was poor. Price and quality was by far the best deal in this part of DC.

« Great hotel in a prime location »

Located in easy walking distance of many of the great Washington DC musts, this hotel has much larger rooms than many downtown city hotels. Reasonably priced compared to many of the other hotels in the area with complimentary breakfast. Family friendly and located in the gorgeous Georgetown neighborhood. Safe to walk by day or night and easy access to transportation if you desire.

    « Great stay »

Stayed here as it was close to George Washington university where we were visiting friends and it was purchased as a package deal with our airmiles. Cute lobby with nice Christmas decorations. Friendly and easy check in. Huge room. A bit dated and not the most comfy bed but it worked. The location was great. So many awesome neighborhood places to eat. Cleaning staff did a great job.

    « Great stay in Washington D.C. »

This Best Western hotel is in a great location for visiting the city including the museums, monuments, Georgetown area etc. The hotel room was great and price was very reasonable! Would highly recommend it!

« Great location and well appointed »

Great location and well appointed and good service. walking distance to major attractions like whitehouse. breakfast was average but not bad, rooms are well appointed , clean and spacious. recommendable for families with children, couples and business travelers,

« Great place for a reasonable family stay! »

I took my grand kids to DC for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The breakfasts were great with a wonderful selection. The hotel is conveniently located between the Foggy Bottom and DuPont Circle metro stops, as well as near many restaurants, and we could easily walk to the White House, etc. It is a short walk to both Whole Foods and Trader Joe's and with a kitchenette in the room, we didn't have to go out for all dinners and could make sandwiches for lunches. We were a little disappointed there wasn't a pool on site, but then we were so busy seeing DC, it didn't really matter much.

    « An absolute find »

Huge room, especially for a city hotel. Separate sleeping and living areas each with a flat-screen tv. Full bathroom with a tub. Fluffy towels, very comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Some pretty good restaurants nearby. Parking in a slightly inconvenient garage across the street was reasonably priced and included in-and-out privileges. Very good location: in a quiet, up-scale neighborhood and about a five-minute walk from the Metro. Also, on one of the Circulator bus routes. Attentive, responsive management. And well priced, too!

« Spacious room + good Customer Service »

The room was good and spacious. The first room they gave us had a LCD TV in middle that was separating bedroom from the living room. Since we had a 2 year old toddler with us we requested a different room which they happily switched for us. The only issue was the limited quantity of breakfast items.

    « baggage »

The hotel is not a bed hotel, I actually think the hotel was okay, but I had a bed experience with my baggage there, because I left it there after check-out and when I came back they gave it to the wrong guest. Fortunately, the other guest realized that and sent that back to the hotel. Anyway, it shouldn't happen, because they must check the baggage tickets before give some of them to a guest. I was lucky, but I'm still disappointed about the service in the hotel.

    « DC Hotel »

Excellent hotel location. You can walk to most of the major sites and attractions. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Metro system. The breakfast is substantial and the staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are ample with a large screen TV and WIFI.

« Good location and value »

Went to DC with family, location was good, I like to walk, if you don't, then it may seem a bit far from the "MALL" and other museums/sites. Interent was aweful the 3 nights we were there, kept disconnecting. Staff did not bother to inform us they were working on it.

« Always check the availability here if you are booking in DC »

This is an older property that is well maintained. Breakfast is included and that is rare in DC. The options accommodate all diets. No problems with city noise. Temperature adjustment easily handled. Sink and fridge available for the nearby stores for picking up items.

« BW Georgetown really is an outstanding value hotel »

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Georgetown for a convention and we really enjoyed our stay. The suites are a good size and the rooms are clean. The hotel is not an upscale hotel, it does not have a gym, and the rooms have a somewhat "dated" appearance, but while it may not have the snooty factor, it makes up in unreal value. A good sized kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, sink and a table to dine on. The complementary gym is 5 blocks away, and is really far if it is cold and raining outside, but it is a well equipped facility and the area is safe for walking or jogging to. The complementary breakfast was pretty good as well, it had scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, and fresh fruit. All in all, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone coming to Washington DC on business or vacation.

    « Visiting DC »

I recently visited Washington DC. At the reception I was greeted by a friendly and very polite young Dominique. I had a small problem with my reservation, and required the assistance of the manager Mr. Nana Koyo Aboagye. Not only did he solve the problem with my reservation, but he went out of his way to help me stay the complete five days at the Hotel !! I cancelled the other reservation I had, and enjoyed a wonderful time in DC. This hotel has an excellent location, close to WU, good restaurants, wholefoods Spmkt, and withing walking distance to M street , Gerogetown, etc....

« Good location, pleasant staff »

The Best Western, Georgetown was very conveniently located in a quiet, pleasant street with a short walking distance of many restaurants, bars and other hotels. It was also only a short walk to the nearest metro station and bus routes. The rooms were large with 2 Queen beds, sitting area, desk and fridge, microwave and coffee making facilities. I only wanted single occupancy therefore the rate was a little high but would be very reasonable for 2 (or even 4 with children). The hotel did not have a restaurant or bar, but as I said they were not very far away plus shops and take away restaurants if you wanted to eat back in the hotel. Breakfast was served every morning, with quite a wide selection of breads, toast, pastries and pancakes plus cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea and coffee. There was also scrambled egg every morning and some days sausage and what looked like burgers, with a gravy type sauce. This was described as continental breakfast but was obviously an American idea of this rather than an European (which continent are they talking about?), I had hoped for cold meats and cheese but they were never on the menu. The rooms were clean and all the staff very friendly, the reception staff were very helpful with ideas of where to go and what to do. Altogether a good trip and I enjoyed my stay. I would not hesitate to stay there again._

« Hotel stay in DC »

This is a very nice hotel, and very reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and personable. It's within walking distance to lots of fun places. I would definitely recommend it if you are going to be in the DC area.

    « Our DC Home »

We have now stayed at the Best Westerrn Georgetown 3 or 4 times as we travel to DC for pleasure, and will be there again in few days. It's small enough to be friendly, has all the services we need. The location is in a quiet Gerogetown neighborhood, close to Metro, a variety of restaurants and a Whole Foods store so we can buy a prepared supper to bring to the room and eat, using provided dishes and flatware. The staff is friendly and professionally helpful -- and breakfast is good.,

    « Good hotel »

Great location but price is quite high for the quality, even though it's ok for Washington prices. Breakfast was good and the room was huge, with microwave, fridge... There's only one elevator so you have to wait a lot all the time.

    « Georgetown »

Excellent Hotel. Good location, close to metro and restaurants. Helpful staff, nice spacious room. We were able to check in early and luggage storage was no problem. The young concierge was very attantive

    « best western georgetown »

nice, clean, close to everything 30 mins to Lincoln memorial 60 mins to Smithsonian (use transit from Pennsylvania) no bacon for breakfast sausages every other day, real eggs??? not cheap nothing is in dc $1300 for a suite with parking

« Best Western Georgetown Hotel & Suites, Washington D.C. »

This stay of five nights was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I have had, and confirmed for me Best Western's good reputation and service. The location was ideal as we were a 20 minute walk from the White House, about 40 from the Capitol, and everything in between equally handy. The Metro was not far away and we used it once when we had already been walking for two hours between sightseeing stops. There are many excellent restaurants within 5 - 10 mins. walk of the hotel.

« Great location for price »

For the price you definitely got what you paid for. The room were clean but very dated but still neat. There was only 1 working elevator, during the night no problem but morning time it was horrible. There were several times that we had to let the elevator go because housekeeping was on the elevator and you can not fit. Overall it was decent for the price and location.

    « Don't bother »

I stay at best Western Hotels regularly. This one is not typical. It's old, ugly, decrepit and a great disappointment. One elevator was out of order, the room was ugly, half the TV channels didn't work and the place was very noisy.

« Excellent people in the Kitchen and dining room »

The ladies working in the kitchen providing food to the people were helpful and helping wholeheartedly. We were late for the breakfast, but they were sweethearts who went out of their way to make us comfortable. It probably did not matter that they were from Ethiopia, but they were just nice, smiling and caring. You could depend on them to make your stay comfortable and you would like to go back to the hotel for another stay.

« Comfortable In Washington DC »

Took my niece on college campus tours as well as the first time in DC. The staff were very friendly and acknowledgeable of the area. The hotel was in great spot and reasonable priced for it's location. The room was spot on! Breakfast was just enough to kick start your day. The internet service was quick and easy to access. Looking forward to returning in the near future and staying here again. Thank you to the staff for a comfortable first time visit to DC.

    « Best western »

we only stayed for one night, but it was good though. the room was big and clean. The lady at the front desk could have been a little more interested. It seemed like she did not want to be there. The breakfast is ok, it s nothing special but eatable.
