Best Western Park Hotel

The bed was hard as a rock, and the linens were dusty, as if the room had not been used in a while. The desk clerk spoke almost no English. The building itself is very nice, and centrally located. Not a great value for the price, but acceptable.

Very clean if unremarkable lodging in the center of Warren, Ohio. Perfect place to crash after a show at the Robins Theater a mere three minutes walk away. We will stay here again the next time we roll into town for a show.

The hotel was originally built in 1880 and is a welcome change from contemporary facilities. I particularly liked the high ceilings, the woodwork in the common areas and the overall feel of history. The rooms are modern, with a very good television, and more than adequate table top electrical outlets for computer, etc. The service staff is friendly, the complementary breakfast is average, and the amenities include an exercise room and business center.

This hotel is in downtown Warren and dates to the 1880's. It has been nicely renovated. Rooms are large. Free parking in the rear. A good comp breakfast . Not close to restaurants for dinner. The square in Warren is attractive.

We booked through booking.com then changed our mind when we drove there around 10 pm. The neighborhood looked sketchy. The lobby was small and dimly lit. There did not seem to be secure parking. Even though we are Best Western Gold Club members and Booking.com said Best Western could honor our cancellation, Best Western refused to do so. We are canceling our Best Western Gold Club membership and our Best Western credit card. This is the second Best Western we have visited in a year that was not up to the standards we were used.

Nice hotel, air wasn't super cold, tv was small, room was clean, over priced. Nice location though. No service complaints at all. Didn't use the free breakfast because we stayed up late and slept in a bit. Staff was friendly, lobby was nice and a bar in the downstairs of the hotel was a great time. Close to many other things so that's a plus. Parking was good.

The convenient location of this hotel is the biggest plus. The hotel itself is old, and was probably a businessman's hotel as it is rather plain and lacks charm The rooms are a comfortable size, but rather dark and drab. I had a room "overlooking the courthouse," however it is on a main street and to have privacy you must keep your drapes closed most of the time when in the room. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and comfortably furnished. The TV, refrigerator, microwave were nice and the breakfast was good. Reception clerk was polite, but often away from the desk. There was free, minimally secure parking behind the hotel. Price was a little high for this adequate hotel.

I booked 2 rooms a week before we went. hotel clerk said the restaurant served great burgers. we checked in and I went down the stairs to find out it was dark, he makes up a story that it will be open in a while and then after a few minutes he says its closed. the parking lot was around back with a broken gate. I did not feel good about leaving my car there. I would not stay there, we left without staying. I lost my money for 2 rooms. Best Western should not have their name on that hotel

Above average accomondations good for the area involved; Really not much competition... The price was alittle high for the area; but generally about average for that class... Maybe a little more advertising woul benefit...

We chose this hotel because of the convenient location to the Robin Theater. We were impressed with the cleanliness and helpful staff. I was an arts & architecture major in college, so I also enjoyed the historic architecture and the fact that they retained the old woodwork, window footprints, etc., without compromising the amenities. Parking was easy (and free!) directly behind the building. Would definitely stay again!

Nothing wrong . Great location if you are going to a Robins Theater performance. Just thought it was a little pricy and the breakfast was a little weak. Older well maintained building. Nice clean room. Free parking and Wi-Fi.

First night of a three night stay and I'm very disappointed. I unpacked some things in my room before opening a drawer that was filled with garbage and food, and finding a very dirty toilet. When I told the hotel clerk he told me there was no housekeeping so all he could do was give me a new room. No help moving my stuff. My new room is fine but I wasted 45 mins that I should have been working. Hoping this is the only negative for the stay.

Going to a Brian Regan comedy show in Warren, OH Dec 3rd. He cancelled last minute due to injury, so I attempted to cancel on Dec 2nd. Valerie, a manager, curtly informed me that she required a 48 hour notice, and I would get billed regardless. I didn't use the hotel, but they kept her promise of billing me. I have stayed at Best western many times, but no more.

Hotel is central to quaint downtown area of Warren, Ohio. It is clean, service is good and staff is very helpful and friendly. One downfall is that lighting in room is poor, not bright at all. Breakfast is very good.

We went to Warren for a Packard Music Hall concert and decided to stay at the BW - why? Because all the other hotels outside of town were priced beyond their value. The downtown BW had safe free parking, our room was lovely, the place was charming and the location perfect. Our experience was excellent and we would stay there again.

The hotel is historic and beautiful, it has all the amenities you need, and the staff are wonderful. The on-site bar and lounge just make the stay even more enjoyable. You don't have to leave the hotel if you don't need to!

Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Air worked good. Free Breakfast buffet was nice selection of hot & cold food items. Bar / Restuarant had good bar food and cold drinks. Staff was friendly & helpful.

Very nice place to stay in downtown Warren. Very well updated with new furnishings. Decent breakfast with nice staff. Older character of the hotel maintained through the new renovations. The only complaint is the extremely low toilet.

We were traveling back to Michigan from a visit to Connecticut. Made reservations online from my iPhone late afternoon and arrived early evening. The main door was facing the street and we checked in there and drove around to parking space. Check in was quick and our room was ready. Entrance from parking lot is in back of building. We failed to see the luggage carts because they were tucked away a little distance from door. One elevator. Our room was cozy and clean with every thing we needed. WiFi worked. Downstairs lounge/bar was kind of dark and sparse, but food was quick and tasty. Missed breakfast but walked downtown and found a great little coffee shop across from a park. Very happy with stay.

I think Tyler pretty much says it all. The staff was amazing, Taylor Cell is nice, although it does give us a call older feel, in a good way. It was not luxurious in anyway, but you could tell that there was quality inn the furnishings and Decor. The elevator was broken, and that made it easy to get confused with the floor plan, it's not laid out like a normal hotel would be in the long strips. But the absolute worst was the smell. Kind of a cross between a commercial bug spray and a antiseptic cleaner. I do not have issues with smell, strong smells and don't bother me. But 30 minutes in here and I had a terrible headache coming on. I used dryer sheets and kind of hung them from the air conditioner. That did mask the smell, and after an Excedrin in the dryer sheets, I didn't notice the smell anymore. This was August 16, 2022. There are other reviews that mention the smell, I ignored them. Don't be like me. When I say it's strong, it's strong!

You should avoid this hotel if you are able to do so. The breafast is served with the same food left over from the previous morning. When you pick up milk, make sure to check the expiration date. This hotel is the worst hotels I had to stay.

Great hotel. Walking distance to the Robin's Theater where I was attending a show. Secure parking lot. Staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and neat. Nice selection food selection for breakfast.

I stayed at the BW in downtown Warren, OH for a 4th of July weekend reunion with a friend. I noticed this morning, 2 days after checkout, that I'd left a pair of my favorite shoes. I called, they found and still have them. And I don't have to drive another 100 miles to retrieve -- my friend is grabbing on her way back to Cleveland tomorrow. Thanks for caring BW.

This hotel was the least expensive in the area and with current inflation we were looking to save money if we could. The rooms were just okay, neither bad or good. The beds were comfy and that was a positive. The breakfast offerings were, in a word, pathetic. Only hot choices were overcooked sausage patties and very salty eggs. Pastry offerings were stale (throwaway) sweet rolls, bread, no muffins, no bagels. Oatmeal machine was not operating but instant oatmeal was available. Fresh fruit offerings were not fresh. Dismal.

Was charged twice for night stay and when I asked about it next morning was treated like I didn't know what I was talking about becouse everything was ok and I was overacting. Next day both payments still pending. Nothing done.

Beautiful historical building in a great location! Close to parks, art galleries, restaurants and shops. Lounge downstairs has live music, great food, trivia night, pool table, pinball machine and other fun stuff! Close to St. Joe's and Trumbull hospitals if any traveling nurses are looking for a great place to stay while here on assignment

The hotel is in downtown Warren, OH which appears to be trying to upgrade and improve the area. Hotel was quiet at night. The clerks in front were courteous and friendly, and the room was clean. Room was a little dated, but clean. There were definitely some quirks at this hotel that were really odd ... - Upon arrival, it was noticed the coffee counter was there, but not in use. There was a sign stating it was not in use due to COVID-19. Then, why is the counter and set-up there? It's misleading. - We had a king size bed, but the pillows that came with the bed appears to be the size of a couch pillow. They were literally half the size they should have been for a king size bed, which made getting comfortable more of a struggle ... especially in the middle of the night. We were told new pillows had been on backorder for about 9 weeks. At some point, the hotel needs to figure out which is really important ... the guests (and possible return stays) or sourcing ONLY through the BW brand. - Phone in room did not work at all ... it was completely dead. We were told it's Best Western policy to have a phone in the room, ... but even a non-working phone? In my opinion, that is more dangerous that not having a phone. If something happens, there may be no way to contact someone ... and that liability would be on the hotel.

Tracy and Devin are amazing they definitely go above and beyond I wish more hotels had staff like them, shortly after checking in ran across them in the hallway and they wanted to make sure everything in the room was good which it was, they were very helpful in finding places to eat or directions to where we needed to go, greeted you when came in always had a smile on their faces even when dealing with difficult situation they definitely made the stay enjoyable

Perfect location to stay when attending Robins Theater. Nice restaurant/bar in hotel, The Underground. Close to an excellent restaurant, West & Main. Also close to Modern Methods Brewery & David Grohl Alley.

While the building entrance, lobby and main downstairs area are beautifully restored, the room we stayed in was sub-par. The carpet was torn and was a tripping hazard in several places. Our linens were clean, but the bedspread was stained and faded as was the dust ruffle. The entire hotel had a musty smell that took away from the charm. This beautiful old building could be a rock star in downtown Warren. I did not see any of the other rooms, but if they were as dismal and dingy as the room I was given then they are not worth the money.

I am a travel nurse who works midnight shift and I am so thankful I have found this hotel. I've been staying at this hotel a few days per week since August 2021. I've tried other hotels in the area but this hotel has been amazing at meeting my needs as a travel midnight nurse. The manager Tracy and her team go above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Although the decor in the rooms is a bit outdated, they are always tidy and clean. I'm never concerned about the level of cleanliness. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is relatively quiet. The only "negative" thing I have to say about this hotel is I find the water pressure to be a bit weak for my specific preference. They provide a decent selection for breakfast in my opinion and things are always fresh and warm. The staff are always willing and eager to accommodate you anyway they can, within reason. I have zero reservations recommending others to stay here. Tracy and her team make you feel welcomed each time you arrive.

My boyfriend and I stayed a month for work and we had a wonderful stay at Best Western. All the staff was so kind! Great spot right next to restaurants and the cool courthouse. There's an awesome bar called The Underground in the basement, also. Tracy, I believe a manager, was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I'm so happy we chose this hotel to live at for the 4 weeks.

So memerable. Very warm, caring service was provided to us, in this beautiful, elegant historic hotel with stained glass windows, and classic furniture. Interesting artwork, a mix of old and new. A peaceful quiet experience!

The Park has been part of downtown Warren's landscape for as long as I can recall. Enjoy going back and staying there when visiting friends or attending school reunions. Perfect, central location for reaching lots of places to shop, dine or sight-see.

Management not available to correct issues. Drug bust in the hotel room right down the hall from were we were staying. The grounds are scary to even walk to your car in the rear area of the hotel. No Security to keep the Homeless away from the hotel. No One at the front desk most of the time during our stay. We were satisfied with the meals offered at the lounge area in the basement of the hotel. Management needs to do a better job of manning the front desk to prevent others entering the hotel that are not guests of the hotel and hire a security guard to control access as there are a lot of people that come and go through the front entrance and there is no one at the front desk to challenge those that are not guests.

If you're worried about cleanliness , stay somewhere else. The sheets were dirty and stained, the pillows were dirty and not for a king bed let alone a twin. The room smelled. Quite possibly one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The hotel clerk would not offer any help or provide any corrective action either.

We were driving through and hotels were booked due to Ohio University weekend move in. So we took what we could find. The price was $200 a night and I was expecting a great room with great customer service. I got neither. The room was dirty, small and outdated. The elevator needs servicing....it sounded bad and the numbers to the floors don't light up, room numbers were laying on the floor outside of rooms, the windows were cloudy or dirty so you couldn't see out, we had spots on the sheets and side of the bed. They had problems with their credit card machine, so they couldn't run my card. At midnight I get a call to our room saying I need to come down and sign for the room. I had kids sleeping (and so was I) they would not wait until morning, even though they had a copy of my license and my card for incidentals. When I checked out I asked if they were going to ask how my stay was and she said no, we know what room you were in and I heard all about it already. The manager refused to talk to me and went to her office until I left. No apology was given or discount on the room. I would leave it less stars but trip advisor says I need at least one.

They bathroom turned my socks and feet black. They have me a room that was already occupied and didn't care that it made for a very awkward situation. Then I was assigned a room that was well below what I paid for. The television didn't work. I made three trips to the desk during a one night stay because of all of the issues. It was a gross hotel, with uncaring and unresponsive staff. Seriously overpriced. I would've had a much better experience at a $60/night motel. Will absolutely never stay at a best western ever again.

This property is in need of extensive renovation starting with all room soft goods and hideous decorating straight out of the 1970's. The absolutely FILTHY carpet should be ripped out. And because all area hotels were sold out and I was staying for a funeral, I had the "pleasure" of paying nearly $300 a night to stay. The only redeeming part of this hotel is the superb staff. They should all be given raises and then corporate should start a serious renovation.

The Park Hotel is in beautiful condition, obviously lovingly looked after by proud owners. Some features are currently unavailable because of COVID. The staff is very friendly and helpful and my room was immaculate.

Don't normally stay at BWs and was surprised at the Cleanliness. Customer service and overall value. Would definitely stay at another one the next time I travel with my family. I didn't get a chance to use the lounge, but overhead another guest say it was awesome.

This is a historical hotel which used to be the nicest place in town, now you can stay there for the price of a much lesser hotel. The rooms are from another time but definitely have an element of class with high ceilings and view of the courthouse which is spectacular on a Sunny day or at sunset. Nova coffee next door has great breakfast wraps and coffee which make up for the skimpy breakfast at the hotel.

My son and i traveled from Florida to pick up his little girl. Upon arriving we realized that the antique wooden rocking horse we brought with us was broken. We needed a socket wrench to repair it. Tracy the hotel desk clerk went far beyond her responsibilities by assisting us. She went home after her shift and returned with the socket wrench so we could repair our gift. She was so compassionate and treated us as friends rather than a customer. She is a wonderful person. We stayed for a week and received a reduced price for staying multiple days. I highly recommend this lovely old hotel built in 1827. The interior is beautiful. Marble floor lobby with original arched doorway. Rooms were richly furnished beautiful drapes and long windows that actually openned. The hotel is across the street from the courthouse which is a wonder to see in the evening. The architecture is original resembling an ancient castle The courthouse is lit in the evening and it is a beautiful site to behold. Disney world has nothing to compare to this. Eating establishments are near by within walking distance. Tracy gave us the down on where to get the best local food. We had a wonderful stay.

The room was clean and quiet. It was small, but all we needed. The price was high for the amenities, but supply and demand dictate that price as there were not many options to choose from in the area on a Saturday night. Our only disappointment was in the communication about breakfast. Though everything online lists full breakfast is included, and at check in we were told that breakfast was available between the listed hours in the normal area, we arrived within the designated time to find a sign posted that grab and go bags were available at the front counter. We went there to find bags that included a banana, granola bar and yogurt inside. Nothing else. No one was at the desk to ask if there were any other options. With the current travel climate, I understand scaling back and limiting contact, but this was so basic, you should get advanced notice. At $250 for a one night stay, I would hardly call it a full breakfast included. The room was clean, and we did get a good night sleep, we simply had to go elsewhere to eat.

I love this hotel and have stayed here many times over the past few years. Best Western has thoughtfully updated this historic hotel that sits on Warren's town square, across the street from Warren's ornate Richardsonian County Courthouse. The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds comfortable. It is well maintained and clean. They have several accessible bedrooms on the first floor. On the other side of the square is Perkins Park, where there's an amphitheater offering free music in the summer, a pleasant river walk, tennis courts, ball fields, and pleasant picnic grounds. A new lounge offering classic cocktails and food has opened in the basement but I didn't have the chance to check it out. The Nova Cafe coffee shop is a few doors down where you will find lots of options for tasty, healthy breakfasts or lunches. Jacked Steakhouse next door has a delicious upscale menu for dinner. There are a couple more cafes on the square that I have not explored. Comfort food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner can be found at the Moca House a few blocks away - and they have a huge selection of cakes in their dessert case. The neighborhood is usually quiet at night.

We stayed with our dance group as we had a competition in Warren, OH. The hotel was clean, beds comfortable, breakfast was nice considering CoVid restrictions. The hospitality is superb. They care about every detail and all of the staff members are extremely friendly. They know the great local places to eat and things to do. I would stay here again and look forward to a return visit.

The exterior was nice despite the shady location. The interior was adequate but a little dirty. Towels were rough and One had a stain. Toilet also had some stained areas. The beds were adequate. Breakfast was confusing and sub par. The bar area was weird but had potential.

I was not expecting such a quality stay for this affordable a price. The staff was stellar. We were up to see family, but visited the adorable coffee shop two doors down, as well as the steakhouse in our spare time! I am so happy with our decision to stay here, and I will absolutely be returning.

My family and I stayed at the Best Western Park Hotel. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a historic district. The breakfast was cold items in a bag and it was enough. There is a coffeemaker in the room which makes it nice to have coffee on the visit. There is a parking lot right in the back of the hotel so you do not have far to go. We will definitely stay here again!!

Customer service was horrible.... I was told a price then my credit card was charged another price without my knowledge. I was told at 10:40 I had to check out and rebook or I would be charged a higher rate... Becky was the only one who tried to fix the problem but it was the general manger who gave her the hard time

Great location, very clean, very friendly and efficient check-in/check-out, and a good value for the money. Only negative would be that it's a bit "tired" looking and dated. But still well-kept, tidy and clean. We'd definitely stay again when we're next in the area.

The court house view rooms are charming and the view is nostalgic and relaxing. The H. H. Richardson designed 1895 AD courthouse is a beautiful building set in the middle of the square. The hotel; facing the square, built in the late 1800's makes for dreams of what it was like in an earlier time. The pace of this day slows down with a stay at this BW hotel. The staff is so considerate making for a complete experience.

The Best Western Park is a beautiful hotel in Warren, Ohio, I highly recommend this hotel to all ! What you get at the price you pay is unbeatable not just by the amenities but by the staff that works there. This group of people are second to none ! Right next door is “ Jacked Steakhouse “ a great restaurant, food was delicious, servers very friendly and always abailable if you needed anything. Indoor and outdoor dining. Many other eateries close by as well as stores if you need to run to get something. Hope my job brings me back to Warren so I can stay there again !!

This Inn is right on the square in downtown Warren. Nice, clean, large rooms. Good sized bathroom with tub and shower. Great downtown location, just a block away from the restored 1920s Robins Theater (a must visit). Bar and restaurant on lower level. Pub-type but nice. Some of the inn's facilities -- exercise room, etc. -- closed due to virus.

The BW Park hotel is in a building that was built in the 1870s. It has 12 foot high ceilings and spacious rooms. The amenities in the rooms are very up-to-date -- good fridge, micro-wave, and fast WI-FI. Huge King bed, good flat screen TV, and nice desk/work area in addition to a comfy easy chair. Extremely clean. Easy free parking in a gated lot behind the hotel right next to the rear entrance. This is a few miles off the turnpike, so no traffic noise to speak of. Hotel is right on the quaint town square. Our room faced the square and beautiful old court-house.

I have spent the majority of the past decade staying in and out of hotels accross the eastern seaboard, but the feel of the Hotel in Warren Ohio, is hands down the most beautiful. It has the super friendly staff to match its atique finess. It was almost like staying in a museum, our children were really entertained by the overall appearance as well as I was.

Frankly, it was late, raining, and I was lost on I-80. Everything turned around when I was directed to the Best Western Park Hotel. I often stay at Best Western, but I've never stayed at one like this. Welcomed in by a lovely couple, the managers, I was instantly charmed by this beautiful, historical hotel. My room was charming and very comfortable. By morning's light I could see that this was a small city to explore. My stay was during the virus, so I was not able to take advantage of all the Park Hotel had to offer, but I still felt I'd found a gem and was very gratified by my stay.

Room was very clean. There was an ice box, microwave, tv, . Service was excellent, Breakfast was nice. We plan on returning again. The hotel was near the entertainment section of Warren, Ohio. Friendly people run the Hotel. The parking is in the back of Hotel. There is theater across the street. Lot of restaurants nearby. This Hotel was newly renovated.

This was a great little boutique hotel in a historic property directly on the town square. A very walkable area with entertainment and dining in nearby (including a very active & fun lounge in the basement). Secure parking was directly behind the property, at no additional cost, so easy-in/out to get out and explore the area. Staff was personable and helpful. Breakfast was included. A good all-around experience.

My husband and i stayed there for two days to bring the new year, what a great time. Room was really nice, breakfast was nice, service was excellent. Hotel host could not have been any friendlier . Wish she worked at every hotel we stayed at. Parking was while lit and secure. We felt safe when going to and leaving our car. Good job "Best Western Park Hotel". See next year.......

The hotel is a renovated property. It was very quiet and clean. The room was a bit small with a small closet, but it worked out fine. The restaurant on the property was nice. The hot breakfast that the hotel offers is not the greatest. The location was great as it is right in town, across the street from the newly renovated theater and is surrounded by restaurants, and a little art gallery is next door. We will definitely return to this hotel when we are in the area again.

The room was clean and large. It had a fridge and microwave which was a plus. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing. The food options were few and those that were there, were old.

Clean rooms and a friendly helpful staff. We went to concert at Robin Theater so a close walk. Would stay again and explore Warren. The bar in the basement was great with a very nice staff. We ate before concert and food was good and plentiful.

The room was clean and the continental breakfast was amazing with healthy options. The party was big enough to accommodate our entire party. We will return next year. The staff was friendly and available when needed.

We had made a mistake on our check in date and thought all was a loss. However the desk clerk, manager and owners themselves were able to work with Expedia to correct the situation and made everything work out for us. The hotel was super clean and secure. Rooms were perfect. Not one thing we could complain about. Excellent customer service. Great price. We will return again and again for our future travel needs to the area. Oh and the bar rocks.

This place was such a beautiful completely updated hotel. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful. Room was neat and clean along with the rest of the hotel. Breakfast actually had omelette! Highly recommend this place!

Pia worked non stop to make sure all of our needs were fulfilled. She was awesome! Clean rooms, safe environment and very friendly staff (Val). Special breakfast requests were provided with a smile. We had a fairly large party and everyone left with a smile on their face. Looking forward to Dec 31, 2020!!

The staff were amazing and so accommodating! They went out of their way to make me comfortable and they truly made it feel like home! Also, with the help of my boyfriend, they fully decorated my room with rose petals and balloons! It was such a lovely surprise!

Perfect location, right in the middle of the town square. Adorable coffee shops, brewery and winery just a short walk away. Hotel staff was so accommodating and polite. Pia went above and beyond to ensure our group was taken care of! Staff is 10/10!

I've lived in Warren,OH for years, yet had never stayed at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Check-in was quick and seemless. My room was clean and unexpectedly spacious (very high ceilings also). I needed a late check-out for an unforseen issue that came up. The Assistant Manager Pia was more than gracious to accommodate me with no hassle. Her customer service was A1. I'd highly recommend this hotel for your stay in the area

The Best Western Park Hotel has great, cozy rooms that includes a microwave and refrigerator. There is a fitness center as well as a complimentary breakfast, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend it for any trip into Warren!

I stayed at BW over Thanksgiving weekend. Great location and always good to visit home. Pía and staff always finds a way to make my visit special. I'm thankful for my home away from home. See you again soon. Happy Holidays.

Our stay was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooms was spotless. I am disable and Pia , the manager when I arrived , went out her way to make me comfortable. We will be staying here again. Breakfast was a lot. App rooms are non- smoking. It was perfect for our family needs.

Last Saturday night my wife and I got away for our 14th wedding anniversary. I chose this hotel because 20 years ago I stayed there while on business. It was owned by another person at the time. At that time I remember it being just an ok place. When we arrived the first thing we notice was how upscale it looked now. Nothing like I remembered. I went to check in and was asked what my purpose in town was. I said it was our 14th anniversary. The lady behind the desk, I wish I remembered her name because she was amazing, immediately offed an upgrade which I accepted of course. The room was on the 2nd floor and was facing the park across the street. It was very clean and had all the ammendities. My wife has owned her own cleaning business for years. If she is happy....it is clean. This hotel was built in the late 1800's and still has that flair while being modern. There are restaurants nearby and a very cool brewery a couple blocks away. The hotel has a very nice bar/restaurant in their basement. It was fun with live music. So our stay was great and as we left my wife commented. "that was awesome, we have to go back soon...very soon".

Very sweet check in service especially when I arrived so late in the night. The bed was very comfortable and it was what i was needing for the might. The breakfast wasn't anything super fancy, I was able to get a bagel, but the juice machine wasn't working properly and I couldn't find an employee to tell about it

Once again my stay at Best Western Park Hotel was beyond reproach. Great people, good breakfast, and a room with a view of Court House Square. Rooms are very clean in this Classic old hotel. What more could I ask?

Stayed here the last few days. Pia at the front desk and the staff were very nice, accommodating, and made the stay exceptional. The hotel is super nice, clean and has some nice restaurants nearby. My only complaint would be that the breakfast is a bit lacking. I would love to see more options etc the next time I stay here. But overall a great stay and am definitely coming back in a few months for my next stay.

I stayed here due to work in the area. After working a 16 hr day, I returned to my room at 10 pm to find my room key was not working. After attempting a new key the front desk staff discovered the key reader mechanism on the door was broken. I was advised they would need to call in someone to fix the door & they weren't sure how long it would take. I explained all of my belongings were inside the room, including my work laptop which I needed in order to complete additional work before the morning. While they tried to get someone to fix the door, I ate my dinner in the lobby. Around 11 pm I was told they did get new batteries in the key reader but it needed to be re-programmed before they could open the door. They didn't have anyone there that could do that and they were unable to get ahold of the anyone that knew how to do that. In the meantime they put me in a room next to my original room. Around 11:45 ish I was told someone would not be able to get there until 4 am. They were unable to even give me a toothbrush because they were "out". The owner/manager, Pia did offer to go to the store to buy me one, but it was just too late and I declined. This entire time I was anxious about not getting my work done, but completely understanding that it wasn't the staff's fault. I was extremely polite to the staff. I was frustrated that I didn't have anything to sleep in, had no access to my nightly medications & stressed about what I was going to do about work the next day, therefore not sleeping a wink. The following morning around 6:55 I called the front desk & was advised the room was available & she would bring up my key. When I went to the door I noticed my bill (for the full price) was placed under the door. I asked the staff person if they were really going to charge me after what had happened. She advised she would check with the owner/mgmt & someone would call me back. I had an hour to get dressed, do some work before I had to leave. Around 10am I received a call from the day shift staff who advised the most the owner could do was offer me a 20% discount. I was appalled. I was upset that I even had to request a refund, as I felt good customer service would have been for them to have offered me no charge. I asked for the owner to call me directly. I did not hear back & had to call again 10/4. Pia was very rude & insistent since I stayed there I had to pay. I WAS HELD HOSTAGE because my belongings were locked inside a room.

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel, chosen for its great location on the town square. The hotel is old but kept up pretty well, so the general atmosphere is nice. However, we had an experience that was badly mishandled by the staff. We came back to our room at about 8 pm on our last night and found the beds stripped, sheets and pillows on the floor. I immediately called the desk. The man insisted that what I was saying could not have happened because "the computer said" that no one serviced our room because we had left up a Do Not Disturb Sign. He continued to argue with me until I insisted he come up and see the room. Once he got there, he basically said that since the sheets were still in the room, we could remake the beds. He would "look at the cameras to see who had been in our room." I then demanded a new room which he grudgingly provided (it was a smaller room).

I highly recommend this hotel. It is clean, comfortable, and the staff is incredible. Pia welcomed my wife and I with smiles, energy and enthusiasm like we were family from the moment we walked through the door. We travel around the country extensively, and have never felt so welcome. Five Stars!

Recently stayed at the Best Western Park while moving family in nearby. Not only was this historic hotel convenient, clean, and reasonably-priced, but the staff went over and beyond to be welcoming, friendly, and informative. In particular, Pia, one of the managers, treated us like family. We also found Ashley to be helpful and friendly. Look forward to my next stay here!

This historic hotel in the heart of downtown Warren is a true gem. My husband and I were in town for a family function and were greeted by probably the best hotel manager we have ever met while staying at other hotels. Pia Morris went out of her way to make certain our stay was comfortable, even going so far as to help us change rooms to the older section so we could have a view of the courtyard. The rooms are beautifully appointed, very clean and comfortable and most important for us, quiet! The speakeasy bar and restaurant in the basement of this hotel was also fun, had great food, friendly staff and best of all in the hotel so no calling for Ubers was necessary.

Pros. Staff is friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. On site restaurant was nice. The nearby restaurants are good. Cons. Parking is absolutely garbage. Not enough parking space as there are rooms in the building. If it rains the front part of the lot floods found that out the hard way.

We have stayed at this hotel before for just an evening getaway without kids. They have a great bar on the property and walking distance to a couple excellent restaurants and other bars. The rooms are surprisingly nice and clean from what you would expect from the outside appearance. And being an older hotel, the rooms are huge. Breakfast is okay, no hotel on property so it's not perfect. But a great value nonetheless.

I love this hotel. So much to do in the area. We went to River Rock at the Amp, ate at the Speakeasy and at Jacked. Both had great food and are super close to the hotel. The Trumbull Art Gallery is also near. This is the best place to stay in the area.

Great hotel! Perfect location for the amphitheater. Very clean and staff members are awesome! Easy check-in and check-out. We were allowed to check in 2 hours early. I accidently booked the wrong day (non refundable reservation) but they were able to move it and credit what I already paid. Very accommodating!

Our reservations were canceled by another hotel but they got us into best western at the last minute they were so kind to us and the hotel was clean and comfortable we enjoyed our stay we appreciate the rate they gave us and the last minute reservations

We stayed here five nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel, rooms, breakfast area and hallways were all immaculate. The breakfast was modest but included cheese omelette, sausages, toast, muffins and a variety of other healthier options. Again this area was clean and will managed. The location in downtown Warren, was a good central location to travel from. The hotel is within walking distance of court house, millionaire row (historical homes) , war memorial, woman's park, bars and restaurants. There is also a speakeasy bar in the basement/ w live music on weekends. The music doesn't not migrate to the rooms, at least I did not hear anything. Also, Free parking included. Again thumbs up from me, and particularly to Pia who works at the front desk for her help and friendly attitude each time we saw her. Ken W.

For a recent long weekend visit to Warren, I reserved a room at the BW Park Hotel. I couldn't wait for our stay and I was not disappointed! The historic property was quiet, comfortable, and convenient to everywhere we needed to be. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We loved the Speakeasy Lounge downstairs. Live accoustic music and a nice beer selection was a great way to wrap up the day. Park Hotel will be our go to for all future visits to Warren.

A historic hotel. Remodel was excellent. Staff very friendly! Rooms attractive and quiet. Window unit A/C kept room very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great & complete, both hot and cold choices and was very clean (attendant on duty). Fitness room looked good but didn't use. Parking, plenty and convenient. My only criticism is that their excellent pub, Speakeasy, was closed on Sunday & Monday's. I didn't dock any points though. Great pub food, a draft beer lover's dream (although full bar). Bartenders Rick & Braxden were fun! This hotel is a very central location. And to conclude... I am not related to anyone there! Don Piltz

The Best Western Park Hotel is a Warren Ohio gem. It iis historic, having always been a hotel for many years. Beautiful woodwork, high ceilings, and cozy, comfortable decor. It is very updated. It sits on the town square which hosts a beautiful old courthouse. The hotel manager, Pia Morris is very gracious and gave us tips on restaurants. Breakfast is included in the stay and is good. This was a perfect halfway mark on our trip from Chicago to New Jersey. We will be staying at this Best Western again.

Great stay Great location Great staff. It's nice being close to parks and courthouse square. Everyone at the hotel is very helpful and very nice. It's like staying with family. It's the only place I stay when I visit Warren Ohio

This was more of a 3,5 stay for me but the people there were very nice and I appreciated the old architecture inside. We checked in for one night and I believe, Sam, was the gentleman who helped. He was very nice and I enjoyed/appreciated the talk through he gave us. There is a complimentary parking lot behind the hotel which we used. There was complimentary coffee and hot water in the lobby which my boyfriend used for his tea. The room was fine,not outstanding but not bad. I was not impressed with the bathroom or the breakfast. They both need to be improved. I just had yogurt when we went in the morning. I highly recommend the coffee shop which is next door which is called Nova coffee. They had great coffee and the donuts were top notch. Besides the coffee shop, the Dave Grohl alley is a block away which was cool to look at and we went to the local Brewery which is on the alley. These were good things we enjoyed walking from the hotel.

Two nights ago we stayed in lovely downtown Warren, Ohio while on a cross-country road trip. The Best Western Park Hotel is in an old (historic?) building on the town square. It is clean, has ample space, convenient (and free) parking, and the rooms are nice. Beds are also very comfortable. The price was excellent and I can't imagine a better place to stay on a road trip.

Really enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff very friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable. Great location for outdoor concert at The River Rock at the Amp. The Speakeasy bar was also a lot of fun! We will be booking a room again very soon.

Having stayed at many of my favorite Best Western Hotels I have found one that is a great mix of contemporary and modern! The rooms are very comfortable and with all the amenities. Though my favorite part of my now weekly stay is the pleasant and efficient front desk staff. As I come and go I can always count on a sincere “hello Mr. Don” from Bia. The personal touch is not taken for granted!

I really like this hotel. I travel a lot, stayed in a lot of hotels, and this hotel is a gem. The staff is friendly and efficient. It has a great location, central to anything happening in Warren. Court House Square is a lovely park right across the street. Access to Perkins' Park and the Mahoning River walk is just beyond it's far end. There are coffee shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance, in addition to those options within the hotel itself. The hotel's Speakeasy bar has a friendly, relaxed vibe. I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast is good for this price point - not home made, but a pancake machine, plentiful scrambled eggs and sausage, oatmeal, cereal, juices, yogurt, some small pastries. Breakfast is provided in a dedicated room, large, with about 12 tables. The facilities are nicely designed, well-finished, kept in excellent repair and are spotlessly clean. It is a repurposed old hotel, totally new inside, but it has the high ceilings, wide halls, and plentiful tall narrow windows of an older structure. The guest rooms and their bathrooms are comfortably sized and nicely furnished. I slept with my windows open and had no trouble getting a good night's sleep. The hotel itself is pretty quiet - I rarely hear other guests. It's much better than the chain motels you find at interstate interchanges and is as good as the 2-1/2 star hotels I've visited in NYC.

I stayed here over 20 yrs ago on my wedding night. I wanted to check it out while intown. Front desk guy did not know specific s about parking or how to make calls from hotel phone. Breakfast was ok. Cool location near Nova coffee and the Trumbull art gallery.

My husband and I traveled to Warren with my daughter for one night. We enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel. The Front Desk staff was cordial and professional. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The beds were comfortable and covered in a white coverlet over a standard blanket. The bathroom was clean and the toiletries fit the need. I would like the towels to be softer which may be the fabric or the soap used. The rooms and the bathroom could use a little brighter bulbs. We are planning on staying again. Enjoy the complimentary breakfast or walk down the block to Nova Coffee for a delicious donut and a London Fog tea. Check out David Grohl Alley while you are there and the Modern Method Brewing Company.

Front desk clerk very nice. Lounge stayed opened till 1:00am was very nice not to have to go any other place for late night drinks. Our room air conditioner worked great. Great location for the event we attended. Next trip to this area will for sure stay at this location.

Old buildings are often underestimated for their charm and style, and this historic piece of Warren Ohio does not disappoint! The modernizations in the rooms are great and the front desk (looking at you Pia!) has everything you need from extra towels to toothbrushes! Highly recommend to anybody coming to the area.

We recently had a family gathering in one of the banquet rooms of the Best Western Park Hotel in downtown Warren. Rooms are tastefully done. The staff was very helpful & accommodating. After they helped us set up tables & chairs, we finished decorating & the room looked amazing. We had the room with 2 large windows & a view of Court House Square. We were very pleased with the service we received. Would rent their again.

Such a beautiful hotel in the heart of Courthouse Square. Friendly staff, VERY clean lobby and rooms. We checked in very late and didn't have any issues! Would definitely come back for future visits!!

The Park is conveniently situated on Warren's main square. It features a free breakfast and a bar/restaurant in the basement. The rooms, while not overly spacious, were very comfortable and quiet. The very friendly lady at the front desk told me that the Park was 136 years old - and they have done a magnificent job of restoring it. It's much more interesting than a chain. I plan to come back through Warren in June and plan to stay again.

Fantastic overnight. I've stayed at this hotel before and was very happy with all of their services. This visit was no exception, the front desk manager offered and upgraded us to a double-queen room without charge. Much appreciated!

Great hotel, great location - easy access to all of Warren. Service was top notch and the restaurant on location (Speakeasy Lounge) was very good and the live music on Friday was just right. There was power outage on first night there......I believe it only affected the hotel computers and phones. They handled it with calmness and grace. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again should the need arise.....

This BW was so Beautiful with all the old world charm. And the decor was beautiful in the lobby. The room was very well laid out for the size. I would definitely come back here. And the rooms were very clean.

Room was clean and hotel was nice. People from a party were roaming the hallways instead of staying in the party room... it took 10 minutes for so,eons to come to desk to check us out. The guy that checked us in never told us about Express check out. The room and hallways of 2nd floor smelled like “Raid” and UPenn leaving, someone dropped a plate of waffles and left it in the hallway. The woman that checked us out would have had to have stepped over it to get to us, soooooooo... The queen bed was actually a full size. But, VERY comfortable AND the pillows were awesome, as well.

Having never stayed at a best western, i was not sure what to expect. The staff went above & beyond my expectations. Although this was an older hotel, it felt very warm & comfortable. It had great architectural wooden detail that you can't find in most hotels, yet the furniture gave it a modern feel. The room was very quiet. I did not hear any noise outside our room. The breakfast was well stocked & sufficient to get us started for the day. Overall, for the price, I we got much more than I expected & more for the money than the chain hotels I have stayed in the past. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Warren.

We only needed a room for one night, arriving late in the evening, so we didn't get to experience all the hotel had to offer. Our check in went smoothly and Sam pleasantly informed us of all the amenities the hotel offered. His seemed to project more on a personal level than the standard "wecome to hotel, have a nice stay"attitude you usually get.. That was much appreciated. From the entrance of the hotel to our room, everything was clean, clean, clean!!!! It's an older building but has been renovated to preserve the charm of yester-year and offer up to date services. There is a business area adjacent to the front desk with a computer and printer available for use and a fitness room available, neither of which we took advantage of. Our room may have been a little smaller than the usual, but still had plenty of space to move around without feeling cramped. Tastfully decorated, the bed was comfortable, and we didn't hear any noise from the hallway. The bathroom was immaculate! The Speakeasy Lounge, located in the basement, offers food and entertainment, (certain days). Unfortunately, we arrived to late for dinner but they still offered bar food. The breakfast buffet was better than expected with eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels and more. We met Pia attending to the breakfast area who made us feel like we part of the community instead of just passing through. Everyone was so friendly. On site parking is available but can be a little tight with larger vehicles. If you're pulling a trailer let them know before heading for the parking lot, they may have another suggestion on where to park.

The rest/pub was amazing. Food really good and the prices very reasonable. Breakfast great, they have a neat pancake machine, breakfast area very clean and neat. Rooms are as expected. Clean, fitness area is not very "much" but sufficient.

My stay in Best Western Park Hotel is always exceptional. I was greeted upon arrival and the check in is a breeze. My room is always clean, comfortable, and exceptional. The food in the morning is great and checking out is a breeze. I also received a call about an hour after arriving making sure everything was satisfactory with my stay and inquired if I needed anything. I love this hotel.

Over a month ago I was scrambling for a hotel for an upcoming wrestling tournament and found the BW Park Hotel. We couldn't have been more please with our entire experience. Sam gave us a great first impression of the staff, which was super friendly, accommodating, always smiling and willing to help. The hotel was very cool, and it was immaculate. My wife said she's never been to a cleaner hotel. Our family loved our stay and will definitely stay again if in the area. We had no concerns about the 'area' or safety, whatsoever (as mentioned in other reviews). The Speakeasy Lounge was also a gem of a find. Awesome food, staff, and atmosphere.

We stayed here for one night while on business. We were pleased with the stay. I checked in during the afternoon and Sam was very helpful as the room I was assigned, had a window unit blowing only cold air out. He immediately came up and moved me to the next room over, having found that the heater there worked. He remarked that my first room was being taken out of commission until the problem was solved. Later that night, when leaving the hotel, I found that someone had put sun tan lotion on the lobby button and it got smeared. I told Sam and he was on it right now. He is an asset to this hotel. The parking situation is a little gnarly though. I was aware that you pull up in front and check in first and THEN drive around the corner to the gate at the lot, which is in back. Since my room was not yet ready, Sam gave me a key that opened the gate-so I thought. After several tries, it finally did open. The hotel charges $3 to park for non-guests. The next night found my room key having the same difficulties and only worked once I started to call the front desk about it. There is a long hallway from the back door to the lot, which also requires key access, and it is nice with conference rooms and the bistro which was where breakfasts take place. There is only one elevator, but there are not too may rooms and you CAN take the stairs. The lobby is nice an exudes the old upscale style that existed at one time. The breakfast was OK and I liked the setting, plus it is clean. There is a pancakes maker and an oatmeal dispenser. They also had eggs and sausage so I am unclear as to why some previous evaluators remarked about their limited breakfast. We also went downstairs to Speakeasy, which I will evaluate on its own. It is nice that it is downstairs, away from foot traffic in the hotel. I have to admit to being shy about the name since Best Western is a chain I associate with cut rate hotels. The price WAS below $100, but the building made it worthwhile. Our room was nice and clean and, as usual with historic properties, the bathroom was small, but clean. We had a slightly larger room with the Courthouse view, and BTW, the courthouse has some neat architecture to behold. The curtains close all the way and block out the light from the street below. The window unit did not really bother us when it ran. The temperature was comfortable. The have the now-standard HD TV and had lots of channels to choose from, include HBO. We will stay again if business brings us to Warren.

The hotel was in town. Building was old but very well taken care of. My room was smaller but ample. Had fridge, microwave, nice size TV, coffee maker. I had everything I needed! Very clean! Bathroom small but ample for me and very clean!! Desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely stay here again!

Stayed here on my way to Columbus and had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. On the bottom floor there's a fantastic bar with great pricing. Rooms are very clean and have vaulted ceilings which was a big plus.

This is our 2nd stay at this location. Both times were excellent. The rooms are spotless! Everything is well taken care of so it looks fresh and new. The rest of the hotel is just as clean, not a bit of dust to be found. The staff is excited to have you and offers lots of recommendations of the area. They truly support local businesses in the area. Pia is always upbeat and genuinely cares about her customers. The Speakeasy below is a fun time with great food and a great selections of beverages. The owners are continuously making improvements. They care about their customers and their community.

BEWARE !!!!!!! This place was the absolute WORST hotel experience that I have ever had. I am a medical professional and I unfortunately stayed there longer than I should have. To begin, I had most all of my personal care items "missing" from my bathroom. When I reported the "theft" they claimed that they had a "new housekeeper." According to the management, she did not have enough training and she thought I had already checked out. HOWEVER, I was staying the week and the rest of the room still had clothes in the closet and my other belongings in CLEAR VIEW. I did not want a bad vibe, as I planned to stay there in the future so I let it go. So, let me tell you how I was repaid for my forgiveness. To start, I noticed that some days my towels never really smelled very clean - like they forgot to add laundry detergent. AGAIN, I let it go. So you can imagine my shock when the owners decided to make an unauthorized charge to my credit card for $100.00 - And for what? Get this - A TOWEL that they could not GET CLEAN due to a makeup STAIN!!!!So I guess they really DON'T use laundry soap YUCK!!!- Makes you wonder what else they do to save money. I also had to buy air fresheners because the room smelled so awful. (Compliments from my extended stay neighbors that loved to cook with ethic spices). The complimentary shampoo and conditioner (which I had to use because mine was STOLEN) was regrettably some Dollar General knock off brand that smelled terrible and was of the lowest quality. Here's a good one - When I asked for a toothbrush and toothpaste (again to replace mine that had been STOLEN)! I was kindly given a ketchup sized packet of toothpaste and a ONE time use toothbrush and with 5 days left on my reservation before I checked out. I cannot make this up!! Also, this "Best GHETTO Western Park Hotel" is too cheap to invest in a water softener. This nasty water tasted so bad you could not drink it right from the tap and it totally dried my hair and skin out by the end of the week. Thank goodness I had that quality, discount bargain bin, complimentary shampoo, conditioner and lotion). HA!!! The complimentary breakfast was also a joke - the fruit was ALWAYS old and too brown to eat. I know - I know - I should have ran and not looked back - but Pia the manager and the night desk staff were SO AMAZING and professional - I overlooked the obvious NIGHTMARE- It wasn't until Mrs. PateI got back from India and decided to "clean house" ( as explained by one of the daytime employees) was when the warts on the frog really started to show and I could no longer overlook this heinous business. Incidentally, I hope that attempt to charge me $100.00 for a dirty towel wash was worth this review. As if my my bank will really authorize the frivolous, fraudulent $100.00 charge for a TOWEL!!!Thankfully, Visa insures customers from scandalous businesses such as this. In fact, that move was so shady, my bank suggested I cancel my credit card. (Which of course I did). There is one good thing that came out of this horrific experience. I found a Hilton Hotel in Warren/Niles area that is AMAZING!!! Please do not waste your money at the Warren, Ohio's BEST GHETTO WESTERN PARK HOTEL. You would be better off staying at Econo Lodge or Motel 6. In fact, you may fare better sleeping in your car. This place does a huge disservice to not only the customer but the Best Western franchise as well. Amazing that such grossly unprofessional, misinformed and socially challenged individuals could end up attempting to run a Best Western. One would surmise that there is more to owning a hotel- one would hope that you could run IT instead of running OFF your customers.

The rooms are clean and comfy, parking was easy. Staff extremely friendly. Only negative was that the bathroom felt like an out house in January. It was almost like heat didn't work in there. I'd suggest grabbing breakfast elsewhere though; it was the typical continental muffins, bagels, and oddly cooked eggs.

Hotel is in very small and old but charming and newly renovated. Very clean and well decorated rooms and hotel. Breakfast was not that good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Town is interesting. Hotel is in the middle of town amongst old buildings and courthouse.

We had a large group (over 100 guests) that took over the entire hotel the weekend of Jan 19, 2018, which also happened to coincide with the largest snowstorm in a decade! The Front Desk Manager, Pia Morris, was a ten star! She handled all of our needs with grace and efficiency, despite being extremely short staffed due to the weather problems. She and her small team basically had to work the entire weekend since relief workers were unable to make it to work. All of them did a great job and instead of being surly and resentful of having to stay, they were all cheerful and helpful. I was so impressed! The rooms were very clean, extra cozy beds, and beautiful bathrooms. Elevator worked quickly despite the large group. Everything was awesome! This is my fourth time at this hotel for this size group and we will come back again and again! Thanks Pia!

Great experience, clean room. We used the conference room for meetings and utilized the whole hotel. The staff accommodated everything we could ask for. We felt very welcome. We also stayed in the hotel for our conference, the rooms we great.

Great stay. Pia - manager- was awesome and accomidating to our group of 85 people that stayed the entire weekend. Would recommend a weekend retreat to any group. Rooms are clean and conference rooms are wonderful.

I grew up in the Mahoning Valley. The hotel scene there is pretty pathetic. This place was rated highly and it lived up to the ratings here on Trip Advisor. Nice room, big hotel, plenty of parking in the back. There is a bar in the cellar that had a pretty good crowd on a Saturday night. A decent place to stay in the Valley!

This was totally exceptional, the staff was very helpful and the accommodations were perfect. The rooms were immaculate and the on site Speakeasy downstairs has the absolute best burgers. I highly recommend a stay at this facility.

Best Western Park Hotel is a very nice, clean, quiet place to stay. I stayed for only 1 night, which was a Sunday. Rate was very good, staff very friendly. Breakfast could have been better. I would stay again.

Stay here over Thanksgiving every other year. Great people, well appointed rooms and facilities. Breakfast for a morning hotel feed is top notch. Heartily recommended They won't let me send this unless I use at least 200 characters. I'm a man of few words so I'll just cut and paste until I meet their requirements. (This is the ONLY problem I had with BW!) Oops. I guess I added enough so no cut and paste. You'll have to imagine it!

I've stayed at Best Western Park quite a few times this year, and every time I come, I've had no issues. Rooms are clean, parking is easy, and the staff is SUPER friendly. They've always been accommodating to my requests with no hesitation. This hotel has a quiet and pleasant atmosphere, which I prefer/enjoy when I'm here on business.

We stayed here to attend a rock concert at the Packard Music Hall. Parking was ample, check in was easy. The room was immaculate and the all the staff were friendly and professional. They made us feel welcome.

My wife and I were attending a concert in Warren and decided to stay here because of it's convenient location. We've stayed in many Best Westerns and have always been satisfied. This one was no exception. Our check-in was handled quickly by the courteous and attractive young lady at the front desk, (I believe her name was Sarah.) Our room was on the second floor and was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast bar was well stocked with eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereals, etc. It is a very lovely old brick building with a historical appearance, but with modern updates. I would certainly stay here again when in the area.

The Best Western in Downtown Warren offers everything one could need in accomodations when travelling to Warren. The hotel sits right on Courthouse Square in the Beautiful, Historic Downtown area. The hotel staff is friendly and professional. The hotel is always clean and they will cater to any need you have. A continental breakfast with hotcakes, sausage; eggs, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt and just about everything you could need for breakfast is offered daily from 6:30-9:30. I have never had an issue at this hotel and it is the only place I stay when travelling to Warren, Ohio

Travelling later in the evening after dark and looking for a place to spend the night off the Ohio Turnpike. Was pleasantly surprised with our find of the Park Hotel in Warren, Ohio. The owners checking us in were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated - very nice atmosphere in the entire hotel. The entire hotel was clean, and welcoming. Breakfast had everything one would want. Checkout was swift and efficient and the gentleman at the desk was very pleasant.Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

I've been to the Best Western Park Hotel about 8 times in the past year and have had a great experience each time. Clean, quiet, access to good food and local ambiance downstairs or within a block. Historic courthouse across the street. The folks at the front desk and the rest of the staff are very friendly and do their work well. Pia Morris has been very helpful.

I had first spotted this hotel for a previous trip a year or so ago, but the itinerary got adjusted and this location no longer suited the needs of that trip. The location though was memorable enough that I decided to use it on my most recent trip through the area. The public areas of the hotel maintain a very historic charm with the rooms having a bit more updated ambiance. Check-in went smoothly with a quick stop out front in the short term parking before pulling around back for the overnight parking. We took a bit of a walk around the square after checking in before coming back and calling it an evening. We arrived a bit later than anticipated, so I did not get a chance to sample the onsite restaurant. The night's sleep was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast offering was adequate and well replenished, but a little limited in selection to other hotels on our trip. I still walked out full and satisfied.I would not hesitate to stay here again, whenever my travels take me through the area again.

Great hotel. Located downtown Warren on the city square, adjacent to the county courthouse and park. Occupies an historic building, but the hotel is totally updated, clean, appealing, with all the amenities expected. Great front desk staff. Secured parking at the rear of the property. Great charm. Many eating establilshments are nearby. Will definitely stay here again when visiting relatives.

Worst experience at a hotel in my whole life. Booked a room and the hotel didnt even have said room available. The front desk clerk was incredibly rude and refused to understand our frustration. We ended up having to pay a seperate $100 for another room and I was never refunded for my first room. Will never stay again.

The hotel is located downtown across the street from the courthouse square. Our room had all the modern conveniences, with the historic charm. We enjoyed this gem of a hotel. Parking is free and secure.

The overall stay was excellent at this BW on Park Ave. Everybody was friendly and helpful. The rooms was put together nicely and very clean. The king bed was so big. We talk about coming back before it get cold.

The hotel is a beautifully renovated historical building, it's a main reason why we choose to stay here - for the unique atmosphere. The area is "downtown" but not near anything really and a little seedy and mildly sketchy, parking is around the corner and behind the hotel but to walk to the street we had to walk though an narrow alley. Though we arrived close to Check in time, there lobby was dark and deserted; it took a phone call and several minutes for an employee to appear. Our room was not ready so we left for a bit, upon returning -well after Check in time- the lobby was still dark, we had to call again for a staff member and wait several more minutes. Our room was extremely clean and nicely appointed but just a room The hallways were noisy with tv and conversations from other rooms but we did not hear them once we closed our door. Breakfast was mediocre and essentially continental, the "hot" options were gross mini cheese eggs and lukewarm sausage patties. Overall I was really disappointed with our experience and sad about the unusual amount of money we spent thinking it was a "splurge", we could have easily stayed in a similarly okay hotel for waaaaay less money.

Last week we had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Park Hotel in Warren Ohio. We were in town for a family reunion. The downtown location was perfect, close to the reunion venue and across the street from a beautiful park. The staff of the hotel, particularly Sarah and Pia, were very helpful and provided directions to local areas of interest and the best places to eat. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The basement has a lounge with full bar and food, its called the Speakeasy. A relaxing place to visit after a day of sightseeing. I recommend anyone going to Warren Ohio stay at this hotel.

This hotel is unique in that it is fully remodeled but retains its historic charm. This is in downtown Warren Ohio right across from a central park and courthouse. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. It was above average for this type of facility. The woman who took care of the breakfast kept the area clean for the guests, monitored the supply carefully and replenished items as quicky as they were taken by guests. She was very pleasant. The hotel and our room were decorated period correct, which led to a pleasant experience. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. Secure parking is provided behind the hotel. But, if you park in the lot before checking in, you will be charged a fee which is not reimbursed. Recommend checking in first so you have room key to access parking for free. Small speakeasy type night club is in the basement. We toured it but didn't get a chance to enjoy it on the 1 night that we were there.

This is a wonderful, boutique – type hotel, located in downtown Warren, Ohio, a beautiful town with wonderful architecture. The hotel itself is an old building, but completely modernized inside. Our room was very nice with microwave, refrigerator, flatscreen TV, and wardrobe, also desk and lamps with plenty of outlets to plug in all your electronics. We were on the third floor we heard no noise at all the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was decent, and the reception that we receive by the young lady at the front desk was also wonderful. Only negative here is the bathroom is a little bit on the small side though spotlessly clean. With the sink being in the main bathroom it's just harder for two people to get ready fast. Also I did not like the TV remote control, obviously not a dealbreaker, it annoys me when there is no sleep timer on the remote Because I like to go to sleep with the TV on. Having said that, this is a wonderful hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I just stayed at this Hotel Downtown Warren. I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful my experience was. The Hotel was extremely clean, comfortable, quiet and Pia at the front desk is amazing! I have never seen anyone love their job as she does! Price is reasonable and I will tell anyone who travels to Warren they must stay at the Best Western Downtown Warren. This hotel is exceptional! From the kind welcome at the front desk, the spacious rooms, to the complimentary breakfast in the AM. The manager took us on a fascinating picture historical tour of the hotel. ?? We stayed on our night for $78!!! The place was spotless clean and the staff made us feel right at home.

Loved the old building very well maintain for 130 year old hotel. Staff was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Pia Morris and Sara at the front desk! cant wait to come back and visit. This is the only hotel i will stay in the area.

Where to stay? So many choices for the stay near Youngstown. Had a hard time deciding with stars, reviews and price to consider. Went with middle of the road. Three stars, $90 deal from Travelocity, and went thru Rebates.com to get at rebate too! It was Sunday morning so downtown was quite. Pulled right up to the street entrance. We were able to park right there to check in. Greeted right away and checked in quickly. Parking down the street and to the right with a guard arm entrance that you need your room key to enter. Back door is convenient, again a room key to get in. Elevator is quick once it gets there. Red swirly carpet in the hall, why? I know I'm in a hotel hahaa fancy, I guess. Hallway was a little stuffy but not smelly. Room was cool and small but enough for two. Small refrigerator, microwave, desk, iron, wall hair dryer. Bathroom was clean. Shampoo and soap was scimpy and only 2 large towels so order ahead for the morning. T V was easily viewed from the bed and large enough. Free breakfast was the usual, how do they make those eggs that look like a saucer? Sausage. A cool pancake machine that you push an "ok" button and place your dish by the exit for 2 perfect pancakes. Another cool oatmeal machine that pours hot water and oatmeal in a bowl. I had to stir it, but heh! It was instant. Coffee, juice, bagels, pastry, apples, bananas, cereal. Served 630a till 930a. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs, the Speakeasy. Hamburger and the such, live music. Prices looked decent, but we went out. I felt safe when we returned in the dark, the parking lot and door were well lit.. Good stay. Quite and friendly. Great old architecture. Natural wood work and stain glass windows. Event rooms, one with a small dance floor. We will stay again. Thanks Warren!

From the moment I called in for a reservation, to the time I left (one night) the staff and facilities were superb. For a 131 year old hotel, the rooms and amenities were not only extremely clean, but without some of the newer updates bringing it into the 21st century, you could almost imagine what it was like 100 years ago to visit this hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in checking in and describing the places to eat. Unfortunately, the Speakeasy (downstairs) was closed for the evening, as I would have loved to see the decor of the facility.

Three friends and myself were passing through the area on our motorcycles and found this great hotel in Warren, Ohio. All the staff were very friendly and informative. The hotel was very clean and we were all impressed with the rooms and ambiance. It was Memorial Day weekend on Sunday night and the hotel restaurant wasn't open, no problem, the gentleman at the desk recommended a place right up the street where we received large portions for a more than fair price. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be staying at the Best Western Park Hotel again!! Thanks for your great service.

This is hotel which was built as a hotel in 1887. Naturally, it has been modernized and had all the modern conveniences (i.e.:electronics) added. the place was comfortable. The in-room coffee maker incorporated a great invention to generate more garbage. The coffee makers used to have a drawer for the coffee packet and after use the packet was discarded and the drawer used for the next cup. The drawer for this coffee maker was included with the coffee to be discarded after use - generating additional garbage. PLASTIC GARBAGE !.

The hotel has always been a hotel (not repurposed)- yet now there are 20 units on a floor which I believe used to house only 3 (talk about opulence!) The hotel is gorgeous! It has an art-deco feel, and even boasts a "speakeasy" bar in the basement. Now just because it has that feel, doesn't mean that it's not contemporary - just the opposite, and when you take high ceiling rooms with the architecture of the original place married with the contemporary items - it's a perfect mix! Front desk was great (Matt helped us by offering a few room choices based on our needs), and check out with a woman who I believe was the manager was amazing with her knowledge of the buildings history! You'll want to walk around just to take in the place. The room had usual hotel offerings. The shower head was high enough for my 6'2" frame, and water pressure was great - the windows actually open, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the stay was VERY QUIET! Cannot express how great a stay this was - and the price was great as well. Free parking in the back of the building and the WIFI was fine for basic needs. Go stay here - you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I decided to stay here on our way to Wisconsin and we didn't realize how far the hotel was off the Ohio Turnpike, but it was absolutely worth it. We paid a great price here. Our room was big and spacious and clean. All of the staff members treated us like family. This was an excellent stopover. We will definitely stay here again

I arrived 5/19/2018 in a rush to get to my meeting. Hit a road block with transportation and Sarah was absolutely wonderful trying to help me find a resolution. I was in panic mode, flooding with tears and she went above and beyond to make sure I was going to be okay. Matt and Andy were absolutely great! I checked out 5/20/2018 and Pia definitely had me convinced to stay another night. After my nightmare with Greyhound that same day I literally considered turning around and going back to Best Western Park. The hotel is very spacious, very stylish, the rooms are absolutely comfy and roomy, and my queen size bed felt like heaven. Overall I had the best first time experience. I read many reviews from others and their experience and I have to say, you have to live it yourself to get the best experience. It is always about customer service. I have to say they have the best customer service. The area is beautiful and quiet. I will be staying more often with them. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Nicely updated old hotel, clean and in great shape. Very friendly and efficient staff. Rooms are small but killer price. Pub in the basement has good food and beer selections, friendly staff and clientele. Free parking, adequate WiFi, free breakfast (limited, but edible), good location central to Akron & Cleveland, easy off Rt90. Minor beefs: no desk in the room, loud but effective A/C unit. Hotel in general was very quiet.

The Staff at this hotel, will keep you coming back. The rooms are always clean, and the beds sleep well. Very convenient for my needs. Would advise anyone going to this area especially if you have court business to stay here

I was very happy with this Best Western Hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly. I stayed in a room with 1 queen bed and it was just right for a 1 night stay. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of my room and all the amenities were in working order. My only complaint would be that the blackout curtains on the window in front of the bed was not designed close all the way and the street lights shining in the window made it a little tough for me to fall asleep. I would still recommend this hotel.

The staff we encountered were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very clean, and our room was no exception. The location is perfect for walking to bars and restaurants. Would love to return to Warren, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property again.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel turned out to be. Located downtown, the only complaint I have is that the parking is a little inconvenient but not a big concern. The room was spacious and quiet. The hotel has nice amenities and the lounge was much nicer than I expected.

I booked this room with slight hesitation but read the reviews so I thought I would give it a try. Booked a king room and checked in. First off the check in staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. I'll come back to that in a minute. The room was huge with very high ceilings and so spacious. It was decorated very tastefully. The bathroom was very nice and modern. The beds were very comfortable also. I asked the front desk about a close by restaurant and he told me they had a restaurant on site, again I was hesitant. He told me of a few others but we decided to try the Speakeasy lounge. We both had burgers and fries and the food was awesome. So in closing I will say we were very pleasantly surprised with this gem of a hotel, will definitely stay again.

I stayed in the Best Western in downtown Warren for two weeks for business. The hotel is immaculate and has great character as one of the oldest buildings in downtown Warren. The staff is second to non. They have smiles and go above and beyond. Great value for the price.

Booked King room in advance; was able to make "last minute reservation" for $10 less day before I visited and cancelled the higher rate. King room we got on 3rd floor was a large cube--high ceilings, bed very close to door. Bed was nice. TV had some issues with receiving signal at times when changing channels (same problem in workout room). Our room had a view of the building wall next door. Breakfast was ok; hot items included sausage, egg/cheese omelette, instant pancakes (press a button, pancakes come out). Better than a continental breakfast, but we've had better selections elsewhere. We were there at the end of the breakfast period and we still had plenty of choices for food and ample seating. Cereal choices were Malt o Meal brand. We used the exercise room just before we left. It was in use Thursday night, but Friday morning was available. Rode bike and used treadmill; treadmill incline was not working, so we just walked flat. Hotel is close to Packard Music Hall, about 4 minutes away driving time. We came for the free concert series by the W.D. Packard Big Band. Every April they have the Jazz Appreciation Month concert where 4 local high school big bands play 3 songs each and then the Packard band plays for another 90 minutes.

Very friendly and helpful staff beautiful rooms close to everything in the Warren,Youngstown area. Thwy even treated my son with respect and he is 12. I can not say any thing bad about this hotel ather than I will stay there again when I come to the Warren area.

If nothing else, the Best Western Park Hotel is a beautiful old building. It certainly breaks from the more common, neutral-colored hotels. The front desk staff is very pleasant and breakfast is enjoyable. Rooms offer a microwave and mini fridge, which is great if you're getting off the road for a night. The downside are the things that come naturally with an old building -- small rooms and poor noise control. Other guests' voices carried enough to wake our family, although they were down the hall and speaking at a reasonable volume. The bed was not the best I've experienced in a hotel, but it wasn't awful. It was difficult figuring out a convenient place to put my daughter's pack n play. All in all, I'm not sure I'd return, but it wasn't a wholly unpleasant experience.

I was in Warren for a couple days of meetings and chose the Park because of it's convenient location to downtown. I booked a suite which I gathered was one of their two nicest rooms—only about $80 per night all-in. Yes, I was concerned! I needn't have been at all! The property has some historic charm, a nice bar/restaurant on site, and the staff was supper friendly and helpful. My room turned out to be in the older part of the hotel so I had to walk up a short flight of a stairs which was an easy trade for the extra living space. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. I found the bedding comfortable and the bathroom amenities plentiful—a surprise to me from this chain. The location was very convenient to the few restaurants and bars—easy walking distance—and directly across the street from Warren's gorgeous historic Court House. I will definitely stay here again if my business brings me back this way.

Sometimes you are good and sometimes you are lucky, this place is both. We picked the location completely by accident, but wow what a place. Historic, beautiful, clean, modern, even value priced. Throw in a ultra positive motivated employee and wow wow. Does not get much better than this hotel.

Right downtown and close to just about everything. Very good parking. Check in was very fast and I always get good options for dinner. Held an impromptu client meeting in the lobby and was offered coffee!

This may be the best upgrading of an old property I've ever experienced and I traveled in my profession for 35 years. Combine this with a staff that seems to be totally professional and a picture postcard location in a relatively small town and you have a real gem.

I work for the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office. We have had numerous out of town defense lawyers stay at this location and they have nothing but great things to say about the facility and staff. Additionally, when we need to put out of town witnesses in a location we always choose this location due to the fine amenities and it being so close to the Courthouse and within walking distance of restaurants in the downtown area and a soon to open brewery.

This hotel was very clean, comfortable beds & pillows and the staff was very nice. Would definitely stay there again! We were there to watch our granddaughter at the Packard Music Hall for a dance competition. The weather was miserable so we were so glad they are only 5 minutes away from the hall.

We had to go to Warren for a family funeral. A stressful situation under the best of circumstances, but throw in a snowstorm, and we Southerners were really feeling shell-shocked. Then we walked into the Park Hotel and were greeted by Sara (and a cup of hot coffee). Ahhh. We knew we were in good hands and that all would be well. And It was. Our room was lovely and clean. The staff were super (especially Sara) and called us by name. Their restaurant, the Speakeasy, turned out to be a perfect place to relax after a very long, stressful day. All in all, the Park turned out to be the perfect place for us to stay and is now the only place we'll stay whenever we're in Warren. Thank you, Park Hotel staff for making a difficult situation easier.

We attended a conference the weekend of 1/12/18 - 1/14/18. Great rooms! The staff was friendly & attentive. A few of the staff grabbed shovels & cleared out between the vehicles. They appreciated our patronage of their establishment. I can't wait to visit next year! Great job folks! Keep up the great work!

Terrific little gem right on the square in Warren. Everyone on the hotel is so nice and so helpful! We'll be back when we revisit for sure. The restaurant and pub also had a nice variety of offerings plus music and the amenities of the hotel were also terrific.

My wife and I spent the evening in this hotel due to a New Years Eve party in the restaurant down stairs. It was a nice place at a reasonable price and convenient to where we were going. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed 4 nights over the Christmas holiday and it was great. We have stayed here several times in the last 3 years, primarily around Thanksgiving or Christmas. The staff is friendly and helpful; the rooms clean and comfortable. Downtown Warren, Ohio is still suffering from the collapse of the steel industry but the hotel is just fine.

Great service. Very clean rooms. Cool history of the hotel. Lots of character. It was our halfway point on a roadtrip and not too far off I80. Highly recommended and it will be our stopping point from now on. Oh, and a great bar in the basement with live music.

I was very surprised at this property, simply due to where it is. A few blocks either way could lead you to an undesirable part of town. I was only a guest for one evening, but the front desk staff was delightful, even though we checked in after midnight. The room was spacious (double room). The only concern I have is that with the property being located in an older building, some of the standard rooms are not handicap accessible. I'm sure that they do have accessible rooms, but I know for sure our bathroom door within our room was not; but we know it was an older building.

Attractive, clean, reasonably priced hotel. Staff went out of their way to help and make our stay comfortable. Could not have asked for more other than the Best Western policy which does not allow you to use travel cards with the advance purchase rate.

We were greeted by Pia with a welcoming smile. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. What a great surprise when she told us about the speak easy!! Great atmosphere and food. A home run!! Mele Kalikimaka, Pia!!

Our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The staff is extremely polite and accommodating. The hotel, although in an older building, is very nicely updated and appointed; character with quality. It is also located right on the town square. We experienced no problems and highly recommend it to others.

I can't say enough about this beautiful hotel. Stayed here for one night to see a concert at The Packard Music Hall. Hotel has been remodeled, and we were very happy with the room. Had dinner in the on site restaurant. Wings were very good! I also want to give a giant thank you to Pia, the front desk manager, who went miles above and beyond! I lost my cellphone at the concert the night before, and she texted the manager at the venue to ask if he could look in his lost and found. We got the phone back that morning! Very thankful, since we do not live very close. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Strong showers and comfy beds. Everyone at hotel was heading to same concert as we were at Packard Music Hall. Fun atmosphere, but quiet building. Able to drink before concert and just catch Uber. Only complaint was that bar did not have much liquor selection.

We stayed here two nights while attending a concert nearby. Hotel was very nice, room was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice. I wish breakfast hours went a little later but other than that, no issues. There is a nice coffee shop down the street and loved the lounge/restaurant downstairs. Will definitely return if we need a hotel in the area again.

The room was comfy and staff was super helpful. Couldn't beat the price! The lounge downstairs was fun and served great food. Husband and I agreed we wished we'd booked a second night! I highly recommend a stay here in this historic building, you won't regret it!

We were in town for the weekend. Very comfortable room. Nice desk staff. Our room was near the elevator so a little noisy. We had a mid building room with no views from our room. The Speakeasy Lounge downstairs was fun. Breakfast was fair. Very clean hotel. Decent price. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is the cleanest I have ever seen. Great breakfast. Great location across from the courthouse and other government buildings. Local restaurants with good food and a pleasant lounge, bar, restaurant downstairs -- accessible from the hotel. The managers -- Pia and Sarah -- were very helpful, going beyond the call of duty to print out documents for me and help me use the hotel's business center.

Were very surprised to find this hotel located directly across from the courthouse downtown. Staff was very friendly/helpful and shared a little history/information on Warren. Hotel opened in 1890 as a luxury hotel for the time. Had been beautifully renovated. Rooms were large, modern, clean and quiet. Only negative was the towels were very small and thin. Breakfast was typical free buffet. At Wish we'd had more time to stay there and explore the town. Don't miss a chance to eat at the "Speakeasy" bar/Resturant downstairs. Food was excellent, see separate review. All in all a great place and would stay there again.

Great place for the value. Would stay here again. Could improve on a higher grade of coffee but everyone was very energetic so I just went down the street to mocha house for a latte. The speakeasy downstairs was great and everyone there was fantastic.

We visit the area twice a year and every time we stay here! Clean hotel, professional employees, beautiful building, beds and linen are great. Location is perfect and a lot within walking distance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great value! Would definitely stay again if in the area. Hotel was well maintained with the exception of the elevator that went out the day we arrived. Staff was extremely apologetic and offered assistance with luggage. The hotel restaurant/bar, Speakeasy had excellent food & service.

I have stayed here a number of times and everything has always been first-rate. It is in downtown Warren, just across from courthouse and park. Hotel staff is outstanding, breakfast is always hot and plentiful. The rooms are quiet and very up-to-date for all of your electronics. Prices are very reasonable. If you are staying in the Youngstown area, it's an easy decision that you won't regret. Try the food in the "speak easy" restaurant" downstairs. Great atmosphere! Exterior parking is free and entry is through a gate at the rear of the hotel.

This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in. So much charm and character very clean and quiet. Every time I come to the area I stay here. Never disappointed. I grew up in Trumbull county and am quite impressed with this hotel. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

Our stay here was amazing. Pia at the front desk was wonderful throughout the whole process from beginning to end! This hotel is like a diamond in the rough!! What a beautiful place!! Our reception was at the hippodrome (which share a parking lot with the hotel! So convenient) Also in the basement of the hotel is an amazing restaurant (we had the after party here) "Speakeasy Lounge" amazing food and drinks!!

We spent a weekend in this hotel for a family wedding and were extremely happy with the accommodations. The hotel has a very retro vibe and our room (205) was very large, tastefully decorated, and had a nice view of the town green. Everyone on the hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast included with the room charge was good. Parking was free and adequate and there are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

I travel all over the world and probably have been in over 1000 hotels in my lifetime... Pia, hotel manager, is a total sweetheart and made my experience wonderful. The hotel and Speakeasy lounge are outstanding as well. Phenomenal food, service, and entertainment. What a treasure in Warren, Oh ;)

My wife, sister-in-law and I had a family issue to deal with and I just happened to book this hotel. It is a lovely building and close to restaurants etc. I will say that it is not in the very best part of town-something we were not made aware of at the time of booking. Having said that, we felt perfectly safe in the hotel and the couple that run the downstairs restaurant certainly go above and beyond to be helpful, make you feel very welcome and the food is very good!!

Beautiful building, and Pia was very informative and helpful. She was very professional and sweet, and willing to tell us about the history of the building. If I'm ever in the area, I will choose this hotel again.

The hotel is near downtown Warren and we found it to be a charming and convenient place to stay. We had changed our travel plans at the last minute and Pia, the staff person who checked us in, was very friendly and accommodating. Both check-in and check-out were a breeze. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The continental breakfast had a great variety of choices and really good coffee! On the ground floor, was a gem of a bar/restaurant called the Speakeasy Lounge, with a Prohibition-era theme and wonderful staff with lots of personality. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The next time we visit Warren, I will definitely return to this hotel!

I travel a lot for my business and I've seen many things over my years of travels, and is very disturbing in the way people treat hospitality workers. Now, what I saw during my check in at the Best Western Park Hotel in Downtown Warren, Ohio on September 16, 2017 was unbelievable. There is a group of black women in the lobby for some reason and they were yelling and screaming and cursing and threatening the hotel workers. I felt sorry for the young man working the front desk and the young woman who was also there with him who's the manager having to deal with this verbal abuse from this group of women. I cannot be sure what exactly was wrong with these women obviously from what I can gather they broke the rules they were caught but they didn't want to pay the consequences for their actions. These women were caught smoking in their room and but they did not want to pay for that special cleaning the room would now require. All I know is for about I guess around two hours they were yelling and screaming and cursing at the hotel staff and guests as we walked in to check in. The front desk would repeatedly asked them to lower their voices stop yelling stop screaming and stop cursing and the look and reaction on their faces was priceless because it's almost like didn't even realize they were doing any of this. I came back downstairs after checking in a little while later just to make sure everybody was OK really in the hotel staff and called the police due to the verbal abuse from that group of women. Even on the police of shown up that group of black women were still cursing yelling and screaming. I do not know or understand why these women feel like they can treat good hard-working people anywhere they want and get away with it. If these women would've just follow the rules little bit no issues. Every part of me wanted to say something to them but I felt like it wasn't my place to confront them especially since the police were already there. They disappeared for a while and went upstairs I stayed in the lobby and just kind of relaxed when they did come back downstairs the police made them leave I was very glad the police made sure they left properly. I will say this the manager was incredibly professional with that group of women even though they were incredibly mean to her for no reason. I loved the fact that the manager handle it professionally. The manager check me in quite efficiently while being verbally abuse by these women and while these women were encouraging hotel guests to leave the hotel The manager a woman by the name of Pia apologized to me of the situation. At no time did the young man working the front desk or the manager verbally attacked his women back or do anything that would be considered unprofessional. They held it together quite well tell the police could escort this group of women off the property. This is a great hotel and I've stayed in here before, and I will stay here again. Knowing how professional the staff is even in times of adversity says a lot about them. Also knowing that the staff of this hotel cares about its guests and their safety and keeping them protected from people like this and keeping the hotel it self protected says a lot about about the people that work here. They take pride in their hotel and they should it's a great place to stay with lots of good employees and good food I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

this venue is a pleasant surprise here the downtown warren area. the hotel is beautiful and the staff is polite and helpful. the décor is amazing the rooms remind me of some of the top rated hotels that I have spent time in during my travels. I will be here again!

The hotel was very nice and near where I had my meetings. The restaurants around were great. it was easy checking in and out and room was clean and no issues. The breakfast was good and enjoyed the pancake machine.

This is a good value for the money. It has been renovated and my room was well appointed. The TV could have had a larger screen. I had lunch while there and the food was excellent. My only complaint was that the towels were skimpy and their quality (or lack thereof) did not reflect the price charged for the room. They can do much better in this area.

I have stayed at this hotel since its major renovation in the late eighties. The hotel has large rooms with twelve foot ceilings and views of the town square. It is located in the center of the city and fronts on the central square . It has maintained a high quality of up keep. The staff is very friendly.

The Best Western Park Hotel is a great place to stay. I stayed seven times this Summer and every stay was great. The staff is awesome and very friendly. Fast checkin and fast checkout. The rooms are very clean, great water pressure, great bed and pillows. TV, HBO, refrigerator, and microwave in each room. Windows open a couple inches for extra fresh air. Hot breakfast in the morning included fresh pancakes, cheesy eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, bagel, bread, yogurt, juice and coffee. If you are going to see the summer concert series at the Amp, it is a short walk across the square. Highly Recommended !!

We are so glad that we found the Best Western Park! We found this hotel by accident on a trip across Ohio on I-80 four years ago and have used it many times since then, most recently just last week. It is in a charming older building on the park, beautifully rehabbed with high ceilings and a very nice feel to the lobby, rooms, and common areas. The hotel is exceptionally and consistently clean and very well kept, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A great value and a terrific find!

This place was a great find! Pulling up to the front I was concerned by my choice but as soon as I walked through the doors I was pleasantly suprised. The lobby is really nice and we were promptly greeted by Pia. She was very friendly and helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean as was the entire hotel. Nice decor. The bed was very comfortable. Wish there was a warmer comforter and more towels though. Ate at the Speakeasy restaraunt downstairs. Food was delicious. Fresh ingredients for salad, homemade fries, excellent chicken sandwich. The owner was a local, enjoyed talking with him. The complimentary breakfast was average, when we arrived about 645 there was just one sausage patty left, didn't see abyone to ask about getting more. Overall this was an excellent stay.

Economical stay in Warren, Ohio; Nice bed and pillows. In room refrigerator was good size and the microwave was nice to have in the room, also. I would recommend for someone that needs a convenient place to stay when attending the Warren amphitheater shows.

We were in town just to visit as my wife is from Warren. We had to hit up the Hot Dog shop, Uncle Nicks Bueno Vista and Sunrise Pizza. Everyone in town was very nice. Also David Grohl alley was great! Pia at the front desk was the nicest hotel staff that I've ever encountered! She was one of the great highlights of our visit!

My stay here lasted only one night, but it was a great night. This place is like a home, where the hospitality is humble and excellent!! From the nice and friendly professional staff, to the walk near the Courthouse Square -for the great fun weekends of the Italian festival festival- lots of food fun and lots of nice friendly people out side the hotel. We wrapped up our memorable vacation at the Best Western Park Hotel,It's a great location to walk along the hundred and hundreds years old historic building and easy to walk into downtown. Great amenities and especially relaxed by lounging on the couch. to the SPACIOUS ROOM WITH A COZY BED IT WAS THE PERFECT STAY AT THE HOTEL .The breakfast the next morning was top notch too. Loved the guest laundry machines. We would come back . Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Warren. Without thinking further...go for this place

Extremely disappointing! Actually did not even go to the room. The area was sketchy and hotel is sandwiched between 2 bail bond offices. Two unprofessional front desk people assured us we would not hear the noise from the 2 loud parties on the main floor. Hotel is surrounded by vacant buildings. They also had no parking. Large outdoor festival also going on in park across the street. More noise!! That was not the hotels issue, but we would not have gotten any rest. All I can say is I picked this place based upon great reviews of 4.6 out of 5 which is a lie. The only review to follow is this one. If you are looking for a place outside of Cleveland, skip this spot. We ended up staying at a Fairfield Inn in Stow and loved it!!!

When I come to visit northeastern Ohio, I want to stay away from interstate hotels. They have poor restaurants, shopping, and access to interesting places. This location, being on the Square of a county seat has great, interesting things to see and walk to.

Booked quickly so surprised when I arrived to fine a historic building in the downtown area. Unfortunately the downtown area is a very vacant area in the evening--I maybe noticed one bar open and that was it (took a brief walk for several blocks). Seems sketchy, badly in need of some downtown revitalization for sure! Room was large decorated well with nice beds. Limited bed coverings if you like comforters and such, it's a sheet and thin blanket. Some stash a nice blanket in the closet, but not here. Overall very pleasant staff and comfortable stay (minus blankets) with my one biggest peeve that they serve coffee from an instant coffee machine at breakfast--hurray to the salesperson who sold the hotel on this cost-saving device with an outcome similar to the old freeze-dried awful coffee (still sold in 3rd world countries).

Older hotel that has been renovated. Still contains older charm and integrity. Very comfortable. Customer service of high quality. Very clean. Well maintained. Good continental breakfast. Free parking in private lot. Well worth price paid.

The staff was great and the breakfast enjoyable. Friendly and courteous and they couldn't do enough for us. The rooms where good and the beds comfortable. The gym was small but good for me since there was no one else using it when I was there. Wish there was a pool.

What a great venue we had our 50th Class Reunion here and everyone was great especially the manager Pia! She was so helpful with our planning committee. The facility was so great and the entire staff made our party exceptional!.

we greatly enjoyed our recent stay at the Best Western in Warren ,Ohio. Our room was very clean,and Lee Ann was very pleasant and courtious to us in her thank you note to us.we were appreciative of the off street. the view from our room of the courthouse was quite lovely and serene.

Pia and Matt made my stay very pleasurable. Downtown Warren is a very nice venue. The nearby coffee shop Nova Coffee is great. I will be using Best Western in the future. I have booked a Best Western in Paris for later this month.

Weekend class reunion, 70th birthday reunion. This was the closest nice hotel to our reunion location. It was very nice to be able to go downstairs to The Speak Easy Lounge and have a cocktail and not worry about driving home! The Speak Easy was first class!!

CLEAN!!! Beautiful Woodwork in the lobby. The room was perfect size didn't feel wasteful but roomy. The front desk workers made you feel like they were part owners they wanted to make sure that your stay was awesome and if not they made you feel like they wanted to know how they can make it better. One small recommendation would be in the parking have better signage so that you know where the entrance is and in the morning the correct exit. We would definitely stay there again.

We were staying in Warren for a business event. We had about 10 rooms reserved and the reception was wonderful. We had free parking, the place was very clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly. They even had breakfast open early for our visit. The SpeakEasy downstairs was also so warm and friendly . It made the long days on the job so much more easy with great drinks, food, service and entertainment.

The Park Hotel hits that sweet spot between historic charm and modern amenities. The hospitality is great--the staff really made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Area attractions are within easy walking distance. I was able to leave my car and walk everywhere--to local restaurants and coffee shops, historic homes, and beautiful parks. I came for business, and look forward to coming again!

Incredible find, a little gem in the middle of the Midwest! If you're ever on I80 outside of Youngstown, OH, and need a place to stay, look for Warren, OH, a sleepy little Rustbelt town. It is 7 miles off the highway, in the middle of town, but so worth it! This lovely old hotel was built in the late 1880s, has had several incarnations under different names, but Best Western has done a wonderful job restoring, and updating the amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room, very clean, and adequate for us ; the shower was the best we had in all 9 nights of our trip, at 4 different hotels. The staff is, as I have come to expect from Best Western, extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the Speakeasy lounge downstairs was delicious and friendly-priced, the wine was fine, and again, the service was better than the fancy restaurant we ate at in another town. The musical duo was entertaining, and overall we just had a great time. Thank-you!

I was very pleased with this hotel. Beautiful city park directly in front of it. Staff was very helpful and rooms very clean and welcoming. My only complaint with my stay is the fact that the breakfast was over at 9:30. We were in town for a funeral and visiting with family. 10:30 would be a more reasonable time to stop breakfast. My grandson is handicapped and sleep is very important for him. So waking him up early is not an option.

I stay here for 7 nights and am thoroughly impressed. The hotel is a beautiful 130 year old building in the heart of downtown Warren, Ohio. It is equipped with all of the modern conveniences I could ask for. The front desk staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. Special kudos to Miriam and Mat. They made me feel extremely welcome.

Wanted to give four and a half stars but settled for five. There were two things that bothered me. One was every evening after going out for the night, our room key had to be reprogrammed which made it difficult to enter from the parking lot. The towels must be left over from when it was a Comfort Inn because I had to use two towels each time to fully dry off. My wife and I stayed three nights ( June 9, 10, 11 and checked out on the 12.) We will stay again but will ask for extra towels.

Recently renovated historic hotel. Renovation was attractive and very well done. Centrally located to downtown Warren. Close to surrounding attractions, including the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Accommodations were excellent.

Is a very good hotel I always come here to stay when I'm in town to visit family and friends service is great the people are very nice I love the speakeasy lounge in the basement of the facility they have really good drinks and really good food

My wedding was held at the ball room. Everything was wonderful. The managers did their best to accommodate us. The rooms are beautiful and updated. Breakfast was great. We went down to the Speakeasy the night before and had delicious food. Lots of things in walking distance. I recommend this hotel to everyone coming to this area.

Needed to come to Warren for a funeral, booked this hotel because it was close to where we needed to go. After driving around the block 4x trying to find this hotel because the sign is very small and obscure we parked in the front of the hotel. Walked inside, it was pretty barren. I figured-Hey, we're in Warren, Ohio - this isn't Cancun or New York I'm not going to expect much. A very friendly, informative, and polite clerk named Pia checked us in and told us about the discounts we could get with our card at local restaurants. She also said we should check out the bar located downstairs of the hotel, which used to be a speakeasy back in the day. We were skeptical, hotel bars aren't normally great. So after milling around Warren we ended back up at the hotel and decided to check out the bar - HOLY SMOKES - it was great!! Seriously best food in Warren, drink selection and the bartenders were awesome. The rooms were very comfortable and nice. The only complaint I have is that there are no fans in the bathroom so if you are a little uncomfy with the person you are traveling with, take some poopoori or use the many available bathrooms in the lobby. The breakfast was nice and sufficient. The breakfast attendant did a great job to make sure the the hot items were always there. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this nice hotel, when I travel to Warren, Ohio I will stay here.

I posted and hotel removed it because they don't want people to know about all the crime in the area which I was a victim of while staying at the hotel. The loss of my stuff taken from my car plus the expense of a new window that was smashed out in there secured parking which is not secure

The customer service was very great and the rooms where very clean. They catered to our family friends wedding and the service was exceptional, the food was amazing abd they hosted the wedding across the street at a very beautiful park......overall everything went off without a hitch ....... so i recommend ppl to come and stay if your ever in warren......its in the heart of downtown warren and the scenery is very classic and old time ...but yet very unique

Awesome old hotel restored to its former glory and run by the Best Western corporation. Tasteful restoration and redecorating tastefully meld modern amenities with period flavor. Front desk staff and maid staff are professional and friendly, hotel is clean, immaculately maintained. Elevator for access, updated and large bathrooms with large tub, large rooms with high ceilings, a nice continental breakfast room, conference rooms, a large lobby that wraps around to the back, onsite laundry facilities, free wifi and modern television. Even the "Speakeasy" bar and restaurant downstairs with top-notch food and service! Also included with your room is secure parking in an enclosed back lot. When I pulled up at 11:30pm there were two cops in the area. The hotel is right downtown in the historic district, across from the courthouse, library and post office close-by as well as coffee shops. Quiet, clean, safe, what more to ask?

My wife and I were very impressed by the hospitality of the staff when we checked in at the front desk. Place was very clean and well taken care of. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. As any hotel goes your first impression and overall rating is usually based on how well the staff is, woman at the front desk really went above and beyond to make our stay at the hotel as comfortable as possible. I recommend if you are in the area you consider staying, well worth the price.

Only downfall, kind of weird/tough to get to. But it's been along time since we have gotten excited about a hotel. Very nice.

We spent 4 nights here and can not say enough about it. Staff was very friendly and made sure that everything was good for us. The breakfast was good and not just the standard fare of cold stuff. Room was excellent. It was clean and well appointed. Room was small but the ceilings are high, which was good for us. Parking was in the rear and was free. Will plan on staying again when we are in Warren

Stayed ten days at this nice little hotel in downtown Warren right across the street from Warren's historic Courthouse. The staff could not have been more attentive and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Everyone was focused on making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. They exceeded my expectations. If I ever have another trial in Warren, Ohio, I will definitely stay in this same hotel!

I Love this hotel. Excellent restoration keeping as much of the originality as they could and still have it up to standards. Pia the Front Desk manager is a great person for this type of job. Her PR skills are great. Also has a nice little eating place and lounge in the same building. Be visiting there again this week. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Easy check in. Free parking. Nice rooms. Good breakfast. Caring staff. Friendly. Pretty inside and out . The bed was ok.. could had bigger pillows. But overall we enjoyed our 1 night stay. Late check out to. Noon!

The hotel is beautiful and the front desk staff went above and beyond in making our stay pleasant . I wanted to stay in this hotel for the ambiance after seeing it online rather than a run of the mill motel with no character and was not disappointed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was alright. The basement restaurant was great. A solo act live music and good food. The waitress was very friendly. My 14 year old daughter wanted tea. The waitress brought her several different teas for her to try.

I stay at this hotel several times a year when visiting family. It is spotless, quiet, comfortable and the staff is outstanding. My stays are consistently pleasant and it is a great value. I always book my next visit when checking out.

This Best Western is outstanding! From the clean and comfortable rooms to the professional, friendly and always ready to help staff - it is a great place to stay for business or pleasure. Pia, Tannah, Scott and the housekeeping staff were very kind and willing to help with anything. I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights for business with 4 others from our law firm. The meeting room on site was perfect for our use and the staff made sure that we always had whatever we needed. The Speakeasy lounge downstairs and other local restaurants were delicious and convenient.

This hotel is located right down town. It is across the street from the courthouse. My first interest was that there is a lounge located in the basement area of the property. Also like that it is not located in the shopping mall area. There are a few places to dine and lounge within walking distance. The room l had was like new and very clean. Slightly small but everything else outweighed that.

I enjoy the professional and friendly staff of the hotel and the Speakeasy lounge located on the bottom floor of this property. The rooms are some of the cleanest i have experienced in many years. My work requires much travel, and this hotel is my choice whenever I work NE Ohio. Kudos to Pia, Front Desk Mgr for her dedication to delivering the best possible stay. She is your best Ambassador.

The young lady (Tannah) who was the hotel clerk during my one-night stay made my stay exceptionally nice. She was kind, considerate, and exemplifies what a hospitality worker should be. If I ever find myself in the area again, I will hope that she is the hotel clerk on duty.

I was staying in Warren Ohio...searching for a motel...reviewed this on "TRIPADVISER"...selected this motel...as I stay in motels about 50 times a year. This building has been restored and I was thoroughly astonished of the motel because of the price...it is a diamond...it is rare to find a motel of this price range with the caliber of a $150-$200 range motel...I loved my stay here...IT IS A RARE FIND!!!

My teenage daughter and I stayed at this hotel. I booked a room two months in advance and requested either a king or two queens. We got a double bed. I asked to be moved but they were booked. Disappointing. The room was clean. Breakfast was nice. The staff was helpful and polite. Our view was of the building next door. Lesson learned.

This is an older property that has gotten a nice fact lift. Very clean with nice staff but small rooms and a bit dark. Great location! Even the breakfast was nice and the price was awesome. Free parking is definitely a plus.

Outstanding renovation of a grand downtown hotel. Desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good location, right on courthouse square. There's also a nice speakeasy in the basement (drinks and limited food menu).

Great 1887 building, totally modern. Very clean, updated, restaurant, coffee shop, club, music, yet very very quiet. Was $30 less than a highway brand name 5 miles away. The staff is super friendly and you know that's who they really are, not something they learned to do or be. This is my go-to in the Warren OH area. Should be yours, too!

I LOVED staying at this Best Western hotel! It was soo comfortable and beautiful inside and out! My only complaints were the lamp by the bed was not working and the toilet had a loud water leaking issue (had to close bathroom door to sleep), but I never reported it so no one had a chance to fix it. Staff is wonderful here - very accommodating and pleasant to deal with! The entire stay was wonderful so it outweighed the minor inconveniences entirely. :-)

What a nice surprise to see such a quaint hotel in a downtown location. This hotel was recommended by another business. Very well decorated in Lobby, breakfast area, and rooms. Areas also appeared especially clean. Towels and linens were of nice quality. Beds were comfortable.

This hotel offered a quiet and relaxing experience in a historic building renovated with modern conveniences. The property is located in the heart of downtown, making it very walkable to businesses, restaurants, coffee shops and the river front. The hotel staff, especially manager Pia, worked hard to make our stay and banquet event a seamless successful event at very fair prices. Instead of staying 'out by the Mall' on your next visit to Warren, consider a downtown day here, walkable to the Historic Courthouse, Mahoning Riverfront, Saratoga Restaurant, and wonderful Mocha House coffeehouse/diner.

I had to drive over two hours for a friend's memorial service and did not want to drive back in the dark. I called ahead for a room and was pleasantly surprised to be staying in such a quaint hotel very near to the church I was attending. The room was extremely well kept, very clean and appealing, as was the bathroom. Akera checked me in and then checked me out at noon the next day. She was extremely kind, friendly, and professional. Pia was there when I returned from the memorial, and she and I had a nice conversation and shared a few fun stories as she was not busy at that time. She also was sweet and very caring. These ladies are both perfect for their jobs at BW.

We stayed here due to the proximity to a show at the Packard Music Hall. It proved to be a very good choice and was only minutes down the street. The breakfast the next morning was excellent, the staff was helpful in all ways and I would recommend this Best Western to anyone wishing to do the same we did.

This hotel was truly surprising! We had driven several hours the day of a friends wedding and arrived about two hours before check-in. The hotel graciously accommodated us with early check in so we could change and clean up prior to the wedding. The hotel was immaculately clean and so was our room. All of the staff at the hotel were sincere and polite. Especially the front desk manager Pia! She helped us locate the fitness facilities and even brewed fresh coffee for us after the complimentary breakfast hours were over. For anyone looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in the area, I highly recommend!

Very clean, nice rooms, working shower!! All the necessary things to make a stay pleasant. Great bar down stairs with good drinks, food & company. Would not hesitate to come stay here again. We came to finish cleaning out my father-in-law's home & needed a good place to come & rest, this fit the bill perfectly. Bed could have been a little more comfy & I don't care for the super thick pillows, but it was clean. That is the most important thing in my book.

A classic-styled hotel right on the Courthouse Square in Warren, Ohio. Immaculate facilities, nice casual cafe & bar, very comfortable room, and top-notch, super-pleasant staff. It was so nice to stay within walking distance of the beautiful courthouse, the scenic river, parks and monuments, and even a farmer's market!

After debating about saying in Niles, I must admit that I was extremely impressed with the entire weekend experience at this location. It was great location and I highly recommend it to those traveling to the city of Warren. The neutralized location made it easy to attend a reception at the hippodrome without any incidents. Went to visit family and I'll be honest, I didn't think this would be such a wonderful hotel. Everything was great and they even have a bar downstairs that stays open pretty late with good food, good drinks, and great service.

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Park Hotel. Everything was conveniently located downtown. Restaurants, drugstores, clothing stores, shops and a park were all in walking distance. Free breakfast that included meat, fresh fruit, cereal, coffee and juice. The bar was nice the drinks were good, and cheap. The bar food (chicken wings) were very good and inexpensive. After the kitchen closed the cook offered to make me a special order which I really appreciated. I really enjoyed my stay, and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

In town for concert at Packard Music Hall. Hotel is great location for the venue, only a mile away. Walkability, near gallery, great restaurants and cafes near, would recommend the Saragota around the corner. several local bars close. park across the street. the hotel itself is well kept. historic preservation of hotel is exceptional, the woodwork is amazing. rooms are spacious, high ceiling, new and modern bathrooms. carpets clean. would highly recommend if in the area.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Plenty of amenities (though complimentary breakfast including hot, cold, and healthy foods was all we took advantage of). There was live entertainment and a separate bar. No complaints here! Highly recommend this hotel.

My husband is from Warren. His family all stayed here and we traveled back here for a weekend wedding reunion event. The entire hotel appears to be remodeled. Our room was in the 3rd floor as was most of our family. We had a double queen which had really high ceilings, and 2 large windows with heavy light blocking drapes plus sheers. Loved the bright natural light. New beds, updated decor and bathroom appears to have been redone. The carpet looked a little worn but was updated to match everything. 42 inch flat screen tv. Large fridge plus coffee maker on room dresser. Desk and sitting chair plus desk chair. Plenty of lamps. My husband brought his Apple TV and hooked it up after calling the hotel 800 number to get the IP address info synced up. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful at check in and check out. We had free hot breakfast each morning. Coffee. Juice selection (apple, orange, cranberry), pancake maker, fruit, yogurt, bagels and jellies plus cream cheese, sausage patties and eggs, danish and mini muffins. I mention all this because we saved money by not having to get breakfast on our own. Ate downstairs in the dining area nook one morning and then took it to go Sunday morning back up to our room. There is an elevator. This is an historic property, beautiful woodwork. There is a bar downstairs and they had some hot sub sandwich my uncle and husband ordered which was good. Fitness room, vending on main floor and 3rd floor probably all floors. Nice sitting area in lobby plus free wi fi throughout the hotel and a little nook that had a computer and fax/copy machine for a small charge. Wifi service was good. No issues my kids connected their kindles and I had my phone plus our Apple TV which had no problems. Parking lot was using hotel key only so kind of secure but it's an open lot. Security cameras everywhere so no issues with safety in my opinion. I had housekeeping bring me fresh towels on day 2. Very sweet and friendly housekeeping staff. I loved my stay here on the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised at how updated and nice it was. Great price - we had a group rate for the wedding we attended in town. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm visiting family. There is a park across the street and a great family restaurant around the corner open during the week - Saratoga. Eat there, it's great food and inexpensive.

What I can say about our stay here was awesome. Pia the receptionist was really nice and was willing to accommodate whomever was in her presences. Everyone there was nice and free for conversation. If we had the opportunity to visit the area again, that is where we be staying.

Very good value for the money. Staff was patient with problems with my room key not opening the parking lot gate. Obliged me with a 1/2 hour early complementary breakfast. Light switch was not obvious, they came to the room and showed it to me.

I have stayed here for the past 4 years for a Fantasy Football draft weekend every August. I happened upon this place after reading TripAdvisor reviews. I'm glad I followed the advice. Check in and self parking is quick and easy. Parking is directly behind the hotel with your door key received at check-in enabling access to the parking lot and hotel back door. The rooms are clean and air conditioning operates without any hitches. I always stay in a 'park view' room as not only do you get a nice view to wake up to, the rooms are larger than the standard rooms. All rooms have LCD TV's and easily accessible vending/ice machines. Several reviews mentioned easy access to the Amphitheater, which I agree is true. Though, my Fantasy Football weekends in Warren are usually filled with commitments, I hope someday to attend an event at the Amphitheater as they get some really good bands and it is literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I honestly don't remember any other downtown hotels that compare to the Best Western. Enjoy.

We are not big Best Western fans, but we had a great two night stay with them. First floor room was clean, had fridge and microwave, very comfortable bed, and unusually large bathroom(?). Parking was in the back and a rear entrance to the hotel lobby- your room key gives late night access through the gated parking entrance (but we observed the gate was not always down late at night as it should be...). Wi-Fi Internet was very good. Did not use fitness center- looked small but well equipped. Breakfast was a disappointment. OK, but could have been better. Limited selection and out of yogurts one morning, out of low fat milk the next. Bread, bagels, coffee dispenser, juice machine, sad pastries, and a pancake machine, cold cereal boxes, a warmer with egg product and sausages (the warmer was cold one morning). Don't think breakfast is a priority for this location and it shows. Other than breakfast, no complaints at all, and the front desk staff were friendly, warm, helpful, and professional. The Warren downtown is still a work in progress, but the Best Western is certainly doing its' part. Hope it hangs in there until everyone else catches up.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I will definitely return for another stay. The beds were comfy and the staff was pleasant. The location was perfect - the square in front of the hotel was definitely a selling point.

Drove from out of town to see a show at the Amp and was looking for a hotel close by. Perfect find! Was not sure what to expect. Easy to park in front of hotel to register. Once you get your room key, you have access to the parking lot. Parking in the rear of the building at no additional cost. Lot has easy in/out access and appeared to be sufficient as far as space for guests. Updated, clean, spacious rooms. Air/heating unit worked perfectly. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy, quick walk to & from the ampitheatre. Price was reasonable. Free breakfast in the morning; although I did not stay for breakfast. Pleasantly surprised with the accommodations and hope to return in the future.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully renovated hotel in historic downtown Warren, OH. Friendly, skilled staff, large rooms, very clean. Our King room had an awesome view of the courthouse, within walking distance of Millionaire Row. Highly recommended.

This was one of the nicest hotel rooms that we have ever stayed in during 60 years of travel--bathroom a little small but certainly tolerable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location mid-town facing beautiful courthouse and close to a variety of restaurants. Parking very accessible and the quality of this facility added to the enjoyment of our family reunion in Warren.

Two of us were on the road from Ohio to New York and stayed here. We were really pleased with everything about the hotel, from check in to room to public areas and price. It was a real pleasure to stay here.

This small, tucked away, downtown Warren hotel was an unexpected surprise, Nicely decorated, great staff, exceptionally clean rooms, comfortable beds, and decent free breakfast made for a great stay. At a reasonable price I consider it a good value. Does not look like your typical cookie cutter chain hotel. Much nicer. Would stay here again.

The hotel itself is very updated inside and is a great place to stay in this town. We needed a one night stay between charity bike rides in Ohio and will stay here again. The staff is FANTASTIC keeping everything running smoothly, with great smiles and patience even though they were under staffed at the time. Free parking behind the building. The only negative is our room was on the side next to another building so was very dark. This would be a problem if we were staying for any length of time but for one night it was fine. Free breakfast - good selection, loved the cheese egg things, very clean.

The hotel is located in the center of town facing the park-like courthouse square. Originally the Park Hotel build in 1887, the hotel has been thoroughly updated with the expected amenities. Other buildings facing the square have been restored as well, creating a setting that is a welcome relief from sterile modern design. There are enough sites of interest nearby to justify making this hotel a destination.

Anyone traveling to Warren, Ohio area should consider the Best Western Park Hotel. It is truly a gem in that area! Excellent staff, beautiful rooms and a convenient location. We would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Trumbull County area.

This hotel has come a long way since we first starting staying at it. Since the renovation in 2013 (i believe) the hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was outstanding and friendly as well. For the price, this is a good value and I would recommend staying here if in the area.

First of all, my trip is a combination of business and entertainment------you should be able to let me pick both options as opposed to selecting one. The hotel was great, the people were nice, the parking lot was hard for me to get in and out of with my trailer.

Beautiful rooms, quiet, and great appeal. Beautiful lobby definitely from another time but in excellent condition. Our room was quite charming with high ceilings and windows that went almost from floor to ceiling. Room seemed larger than a normal hotel with a nice size bathroom. Right on the square in downtown Warren, easy to get to. Great parking area with a welcome back entrance. We would definitely stay again.

I've had the GREAT privilege of staying at this hotel on numerous occasions. NOT ONE TIME have I been disappointed! The staff is ALWAYS warm and hospitable. The hotel is quiet and peaceful. I HIGHLY recommended this location!

This hotel is great for the price. We stayed for a wedding reception in April 2016. The hotel is not new by any means but very clean and well appointed. It's a great location right across from the courthouse/park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose it simply because that was where the group rate was for wedding guests, but it was a great choice. Close to the reception venue and a comfortable stay for the night.

We have stayed here before , and have been very comfortable, room wise. This time was no exception. The beds are very comfortable, the pillows are great, and the amenities in the room include a slightly larger than under counter frig which is always appreciated! Room was clean, ,comfortable, and bathroom was same. Good water pressure, etc, no loud noises, etc in room. The hotel has a "deco" lobby and first floor, which is something I really like , and the "dining area" is large. Again, on this visit, the only "nothing special" and this time, ALSO disappointing, was the breakfast. We 3 adults went into the dining area and were the only ones in the room, so it was not packed and food not being "eaten quickly". There was one egg and 2 sausages in the pans, so basically empty for 3 hungry adults. There was no attendant in the room, I had to go back to the front desk to let the lady know, and as soon as she saw me coming, she said, BEFORE I said anything, "I know, I'm on my way!"... ( she was very friendly and helpful)... however, when she came into the dining room, she said, "Yes, the night guy told me the food was "low" as he was leaving." I suggested she might want to tell him that the term "low" is not the same as "basically out!". So for the 3 adults, 1 adult could eat, and 2 adults had to wait for her to come in from the front desk, then heat up/prepare the eggs and sausage... took several minutes, but when you are in a hurry to get back on the road, this is somewhat disappointing, and also awkward for the 3 people waiting, when 1 has food and 2 do not have any. Do you wait for the others, let yours get cold, or ??? So, finally, one person ate, and 2 drank coffee, waiting for the food to come out. After eating, we packed and checked out. On the way out, just for the heck of it, I walked back into the dining area, just to "see". Only one couple was in the room now, eating. I checked the pans... BOTH completely empty! So if this couple wanted more, or if another group or even one person came into the room, they would have ALSO had the same experience we had, having to go hunt down the front desk and then wait. Hmmmm. Not good business, IMHO. The breakfast is pretty good but nothing special, just average to start with, very much the same as most hotels now offer, and with the plastic forks and foam plates , which kind of "cheapens" it to begin with, and now having to GO FIND SOMEONE TO ASK for the food each time, then WAIT for them to come and then for it to be made, to me, just makes the place look bad... something they really need to work on. My feeling is that it may be coming from management for "waste control and operating expenses"??, i.e., make the front desk do both jobs, only put out a little food at a time, but, at the same time, if you don't intend to annoy your patrons, and want to keep them coming back, shouldn't you at least have a "dining person" there, rather than having the front desk try to run the desk, answer phones, AND keep up with breakfast and keep food hot and ready? Other than that, the stay itself was very comfortable, staff very friendly, but my husband was put off enough by this experience to the point that now he is not so sure he wants to stay there again, as there are other places that are also comfortable but not where you have to keep asking and waiting for the breakfast, and the breakfasts are fairly much the same or better in the other hotels. ESP since this hotel is a little far off the interstate, we have to drive a little twisting distance to get here, and he now feels like it is not worth the extra drive if it is now "nothing special". I personally still like this hotel because I am very comfortable in the rooms,( bed, pillows, linens,) , and am hopeful this was just a "one time " experience, ( maybe the dining lady called in sick?"), but the experience in the morning was enough to "put me off" as well, so, we will see. We may end up giving them another chance, but, if we get these same results, then we will end up driving on a few miles, and try someone else from now on, unfortunately, as there are plenty of other hotels available right off the interstate. We make this trip periodically to visit family, and need a "half-way point" for the drive, so we may have to change our "go to halfway home", IF this is now going to be the norm here. We were very pleased with our first visit here, and at that time they had a "dining room lady" , very sweet, who, while having a hard time keeping up with the volume in the room at that time, and trying to cook on a small frying pan for a room full of people, was very personable, and also right there to get anything you needed and also right there to check on the food and try to keep it filled. This visits "new experience" was a definite step down for this hotel, and needs to be improved.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was super nice. Our room was very nice and well kept. Breakfast was only okay but convenient and free. Neat building and central location. We had young kids with us and we're treated well and given a crib to use which was helpful.

We booked a night here while in town for a concert. I picked this place because it was close to the venue and it was a great choice. Beautifully restored building, lovely room, right on the town square. Staff was very personable, free parking in back. Breakfast was okay, but we enjoyed everything about this hotel.

I recently was attending a funeral and had to make hotel arrangements. The staff was awesome and fulfilled our every need. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The structure of the hotel is breathe-taking. If you enjoy artwork, this is the place to be. I highly recommend this hotel at a moments notice.

Stayed twice for business at this hotel within 2 months and the only difference was that the person handling check in this last time was much more friendly and helpful.I was initially concerned with its location and parking facility but there were no issues. It was actually fairly quiet area but probably due to time of year (winter) and evening arrival time / early morning departure. The hotel has a historic feel to it on the outside which is atypical to what I am used to. The rooms have more of a square layout with the bathroom tucked in a corner versus the more common rectangular design. Also the ceilings have quite the height. Overall I found the rooms comfortable with everything in great condition and in working order (tv, internet, microwave, minifridge, heating/cooling unit). They were clean including the bathroom. Also quieter than expected. And a very good rate. I will definitely return next time in area.

We received very good service at the BW in Warren, Ohio. Very good location, great staff. The room was very comfortable, the bed was comfortable. The Breakfast offered was very accommodating. The Rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator a PLUS!!!

I was a little worried about staying in Warren, but was pleasantly surprised by the Historic feel of this location. Located directly on the Square and close to the Packard Music Hall. We will stay there again as the need dictates.

My husband and I were going to a concert at Packard Hall and chose this hotel. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and offered fresh coffee ( just started to snow) while we waited to check in. Very minimal wait and got a very clean and comfortable room on the 2nd floor. Wonderful restaurant around the corner (Saratoga) to grab a bite. Breakfast was good and had a variety of selections.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Spotless rooms and the breakfast area had enough room for our group to eat and also have a quick meeting before leaving. In a renovated historic building and we got a low room rate on-line.

This hotel is a must stay if you're in the Warren area. The location is great. Great restaurants within walking distance. Clean, WELL decorated rooms, superior staff from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance. This was our second stay within six months and we'll definitely be back!

We had a fabulous time at this hotel. Convient parking. TOP NOTCH friendly staff. Clean. Modern furnishings. What more can you ask for? Perfect stay. They have cheap alcoholic breverages available in the lobby for your convenience. Coffee is provided in the lobby 24/7 for free. All the rooms have high ceilings! :) The banquet rooms and free breakfast were also nice.

I have stayed twice at the Best Western Park Hotel in downtown Warren, Ohio. This hotel was built in the late 1800's (historic landmark) but has been renovated. It looks great! It is quiet and the rooms are clean and look brand new. The price is unbelievable. Coming from Los Angeles the price is that of a Motel 6 but the hotel looks equal to a Hampton Inn. I will definitely stay here again. I paid about $90 per night with free breakfast, fitness center, business center, etc. Again unbelievable. You can't beat this with a stick! NT

We needed a hotel for a family funeral, in May of this year, and chose the Best Western Park Hotel because of the location and price. As it turned out, we couldn't have been more satisfied. So when we needed a place to return to for our family Christmas, last week, we called Best Western Park, again, and were treated extremely well, from making the reservation with Melissa, to her friendliness as well as Yamir's, who also worked at the front desk. Shannon always had our room spotless. The warm breakfast was included each day, as well as coffee in the lobby. There was gated parking in the rear and even being right in town, the noise level was minimal. Everything was always clean...grounds, main floor and lobby, as well as hallways and the room. I'm sure we'll return for other family functions! They also matched and upgraded the best deal we found on-line. :-) (I couldn't rate the style and amenities because we were there for family visits, so looking for comfort and value, not really looking for anything else).

clean room, excellent service, friendly & responsive staff. The breakfast was very good too! they have a pancake machine! the exhaust fan in the bathroom moved air (it has been a long time since I have seen a functioning fan in a hotel bathroom). we thought the towels were narrow and asked for an extra 2 every evening and got them with no worries.

The bed was amazingly comfortable! The room was large and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located downtown with plenty of places to eat within walking distance! The staff was wonderful and willing to assist with any little problem. Nice little breakfast offering, the Bistro was great.

This was a great old hotel which retained the style of years gone by with the modern conveniences, with a great staff to compliment the style. The room was comfortable and clean and I would highly recommend it.

The Best Western in Warren, OH is a great place to stay. The hotel has been renovated & they saved a lot of historical details. The manager and staff are super friendly, the place is very clean, and the location is downtown surrounded by lots of other historical places. We will definitely come back!

This beautiful is in a renovated historical building and the charm is indescribable! The design reflects the building's history and is compatible with its surroundings. I could truly feel the city's past come alive in this hotel.

The check in clerk was very attentive to our need to have him put our frozen fish in the kitchen freezer. We had been fishing in the Saginaw Bay. The kitchen lady was also very nice. She talked with everyone to see if their breakfast needs were met.

After a six-day visit, I must say that all aspects of our stay were outstanding. The staff made us feel at home and feel like family. The breakfast menu is extensive and good . The housekeeping staff was responsive and showed much care to each family member. The recent renovation retained some of the 19th century atmosphere, thus a restful feeling. In all, it was like being home.

We arrived after dark and felt that the area might be a little sketchy but we were wrong! In my online reservation I asked for a view of the courtyard per prior reviews and was given just that. I expected a square yard in the center of the hotel but it was of the beautifully lit up historical courthouse building across the street. The hotel itself appears to be a renovated historical building. Our room (#305) was large and spacious. The ceilings had to be 12 feet tall. 2 beds, table & chair, television, bathroom around the corner which allowed for quiet if someone was up and moving around, showering, etc. We arrived late and left early (before 6:30am breakfast but the mgr at checkin offered cereal or fruit if we were interested - pretty nice!) but I expect to be back in Warren again and will definitely try to get there earlier and enjoy the town a little more.

This historic hotel has the look and feel of hotels much more expensively priced-- only better. They sell beer and wine from a fridge located near the front desk. Parking is convenient and free. It is on the old town square, across from the beautiful old court house, and walking distance to the park and it's riverwalk trail. Staff is personable and professional. I would return to Warren OH just to stay in this hotel.

Accommodating front desk help. Benjamin took the time to bring us a crib and chat with us and tell us a little about himself and the area. Another great thing that happened was we left our portable play pen there. They mailed it to us the next business day! This hotel seems to be very highly rated and I think it deserves it!

This place is located across from the beautiful Trumbull County Courthouse,some historical landmarks,a nice Veterans Memorial is 1/2 block away & is within a few blocks of some museums & restaurants. I would highly recommend the Sunrise Inn just a few blocks away for the largest munu I have ever seen & very delicious food,because I have been eating there for 45 yrs.Also Warren is not the safe place I grew up in the 60 & 70 & you fell safe when you stay here.

Lovely hotel! What a gem in this small town. First off, Ben checked us in efficiently. We were amazed at the size of our room with two queen beds facing the town square. Everything was immaculate. The decor was lovely. Plenty of nice thick bath linens. We had a corner room (305) with windows on two walls for lots of light during the day. We highly recommend this hotel if you're traveling to Warren or Niles or parts thereabout. And a special shout out to Ben who works just about every shift. Seems he was always there when we needed him. Thanks for helping to print off some work-related documents.

This was an extremely clean hotel with great service. The staff was friendly and helpful and the renovated room felt like home. The location was within walking distance of attractions downtown. We would not hesitate to stay here again when in the area.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The price of a single room was a bit much. Hotel was clean and comfy. The location was perfect for me. Breakfast was OK , in walking distance of where I needed to go. Overall it was fine just a bit pricey.
