    « Wonderful Waltham! »

We grew up in Waltham, & still, have family/friends there. The Best Western has been our place since teen hood! The price is great, beautiful pool, convenient restaurant/bar, & the breakfast is wonderful. All the staff are friendly, & helpful. This visit was for our 35th High School Reunion. We had a blast.

    « Well run »

About a year ago my wife and I stayed here and we had totally rude neighbors. I believe this is rare and can happen in any hotel. The management was very helpful to us in subduing our loud neighborhoods and promised us a discount if we ever came back (great management!). Last night we stayed again in the hotel and our stay was great. The breakfast is quite good with lots of variety and there is nice indoor, open-all-long pool that is quite nice. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. I will stay here again if I need a hotel near Boston.

    « The bathroom was a disaster »

My stay here was memorable. I stay in this area quite often and this is my first visit here and I think my last. Check in was quite easy and my room was OK. The bed was not very comfortable but the bathroom was a nightmare. I have attached photos to back up my claims. I sat on the toilet to do my business and was nearly castrated as the seat was not properly attached to the commode. The sink was clogged and filled with a mess from my face wash, shave remnants and shave cream. The toilet was barely attached and i could put my finger in the gap on the floor. What put the icing on the cake was the blow dryer it had... no lie... an 18 inch cord??????. I just chuckled as the electrical outlet was to the right of the sink, right in front of the does one dry their hair? Room 608 was just haunted.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel a lot. Margot the GM is wonderful and her staff is great to deal with. They are very helpful and always make sure you are comfortable. The hotel is always quiet and relaxing.

« Oustanding visit with Team ensuring everything was perfect. »

Margot, GM and team did an outstanding job during our stay at the Best Western TLC. Whether it was accommodating our luggage, late checkout, suggestions for dinner, opening breakfast early as we were there for the Head of the Charles, Margot and her team made sure we were completely satisfied, everything was OK and that we could concentrate on racing. Thank you and I will definitely stay at Best Western TLC next time we are there.

    « An Oasis »

Another wonderful night at this Best Western! Last week I needed to stay overnight close to where I work (I have a 70 mile daily commute). This hotel has become my home away from home for several reasons. Manager Margot Fenton personally gets to know her regular guests and she passes that customer service standard along to her staff who are so excellent at making me feel like part of the "family". The beds are incredibly comfortable, on-site restaurant is great and service and quality of the morning complimentary breakfast buffet is fabulous. Front Desk staff, Food Service and Housekeeping staff are always over the top. My thanks -- can't wait for my next stay!

« Not the best of the Best Western Ive stated at but still great Value! »

I actually like many best Western but was a bit disappointed in this one. The location was pretty good, the hotel staff was alright. We lucked with another front desk guy informing us the restaurant in hotel was about to close. The hotel restaurant cooper House Tavern amazing definitely try. Bed were good but not amazing. This best Western was not as good as other Best Western. Pool area closes very early, fitness center wasn't very good , and no Hot tub. Breakfast was fantastic though. Lots of great parking. Overall a great value would stay again. Just need minor issues addressed.

« Satisfaciton of Hotel stay »

We recently stayed at the Best Western Hotel in Waltham, MA and were very pleased with the staff and the service. Our only choice when we are in the Waltham area will be the Best Western. The room was very clean and the breakfast was . great as there was many choices.

« Rude Desk Clerk & Check dates on Yogurt before eating »

Front desk clerk. Upon check in, arrived early 1430hrs., and asked if the room was ready. Clerk said, NO. I asked how long do you think before the maid cleans the room. He said he had no idea. I told him I'll have a beer in the Traven. After an hour I check back with the clerk. Room still not ready, and I asked again how long more. Again, he said he has no idea So, I asked him for the code for the internet so i could look for a place to have dinner. He just toss a card key holder with the code on it, on the desk. Very RUDE! In the 70's, both me and my wife worked the front desk for 5 years, Waikiki BeachComber, 500 room hotel. This clerk NEEDS to be re-calibrated on Front Desk etiquette. We left the hotel, and at 1730 hours, I called back to see if our room was ready. He said yes. When I returned to check in, he found out that my wife works with BW in hawaii and his attitude changed. Its ashamed that my take away of this hotel, was spoiled by the POOR reception of your front desk clerk. My first impression is my lasting impression Also, need you need to check the dates on the yogurt before eating it. I found them to be all expired by 2 weeks. I had to tell the clerk in the breakfest line about it, he went in the back to get me a fresh one. It was too late for the other guest eating them

« Much better than expected »

Best Westerns are not my first choice but the other hotels were full. This was much better than expected and value for money. Great welcome by the staff and they pointed out all the hotel features. Room bigger than expected. A little tired but had everything including a refrigerator. The Copperhouse Tavern is a great place to eat especially if you enjoy a beer with you meal and even better if you enjoy sport on while you eat. It included a breakfast which was fine for a complimentary breakfast.

« Terrible!!! Will not stay here again »

The hotel front desk person had terrible customer service, he was very timid and not very helpful after we drove 5 hrs to get there and to be told we needed to wait until they did their system audits. The day we were leaving we were told the guy is new, he needed to be trained some more. Over all terrible, place is not updated and breakfast was decent

    « Boston getaway »

We chose this hotel because of other reviews including the affordable price and proximity to Boston. The room we stayed in was basic, but clean, quiet and safe. The free breakfast was good with a nice variety of choices (yogurt, eggs, muffins, fruit, etc.), and we liked having coffee available 24/7 in the dining area. The wi-fi was fast so we could watch videos. There was also plenty of parking. The only recommendation we'd make would be to have individual id's/passwords issued for the wi-fi vs. sharing one id/pw with everyone else in the hotel.

    « Functional Room »

Excellent Staff - Hotel décor up to date and parking is easy. Water pressure was an issue and water draining in bath tub. Had an issue with room as food from prior guest was overlooked on the carpet in a area which could be overlooked by any individual. High speed internet was good.

« Great free breakfast and on premise restaurant »

Booked this hotel because I couldn't find any other availability for Parent's Weekend at Boston College. It's located right off I-95, but about 15-20 minutes from the school. However, the service and amenities were well worth the short drive. Staff was smiling and helpful, room was good size and love the microwave/fridge perk. The free breakfast offered pancakes, eggs, bacon, cereal, muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit - plentiful. Also, there is a large restaurant/bar on the premises and it seems to be a popular dining spot for locals - Will def return to Waltham Best Western TLC

    « I love staying here. »

This hotel is out of the mainstream but convenient to everything. Skirting the west side of the Boston metro, you get great access to all areas without the premium price of lodging and parking of downtown Boston. Great breakfast!

    « Consistent Excellence »

General Manager Margot Fenton and her team of Jason, Ruth, Sam, Emerson, et al., have always made my trips to the Waltham area for appointments less stressful and more enjoyable, because I don't have to worry about the lodging part of my trips. The staff here is a model of consistency in excellence. They are always friendly, accommodating, and available to help in any way they possibly can. The rooms are always clean, well- stocked with towels, toiletries, etc., and the housekeeping staff is efficient and thorough. Within the hotel are numerous conveniences: A great complimentary breakfast with plenty of variety; complimentary Wi-Fi; indoor heated pool; exercise room; snack-shop; and, a great restaurant called The Copper House Tavern. After a long day of traveling, it is so nice to have everything you need on-site, and have it provided to you by a professional and attentive hospitality staff. There is plenty of free parking, and when you are ready to head back out on the road, the hotel is located right off route 128 (interstate 95), and there is a gas station nearby to fuel up. Many thanks to GM Margot, the TLC staff, and Best Western, Rich P.

    « Unfortunate Terrible Experience »

When we booked the room online, we booked a deluxe king room. However, when we got there, they gave us a one queen bedroom. When we told the staff about the mistake, they replied, "There's nothing we can do." When we used the shower in the one queen bedroom, it was broken and the water was stuck so only one family member got to use the shower. When we went back to the staff, they said, "If you don't like it here, you can check out." When I talked to the front desk manager, named Jason, he said there were no rooms left. Then, Jason discussed our situation with the general manager, who gave us a new room. So all along, there was a room available, but they failed to give it to us. We had to suffer in the extremely low quality conditions of the one queen bedroom for a long time even though there was a clean, satisfactory room available the whole time.

« Decent Place outside Boston »

Stayed for two nights recently while visiting local colleges with our daughter. Management would not honor my husband's reward account because I made the reservation. We are married so this should have been done. Room was clean but the bed pillows were unusually small and we did not receive any extras for our daughter who slept on the sofa bed. Small balcony off room but no chairs to sit on. Breakfast consisted of a wide variety of items including eggs, potatoes, fruit, cereal and pancakes that came out of a strange contraption and were a little rubbery. It was included with the price though which was nice. Pool area looked ok but we did not use it. Price was significantly cheaper than hotels in downtown Boston so this was a good option for a short stay.

« Another great stay at the Best Western TLC Waltham »

I am a regular guest at the BW TLC in Waltham and enjoyed another great multi-night stay last week. Great staff and the best hotel GM in the area make this a very good hotel year round for my busy schedule.

« Best Western Waltham, MA »

I have stayed at many Best Western's and I found this one to be in the top three. The amenities were abundant, the rooms were immaculate, the staff was outstanding (A Special thanks to Jason the night manager). The restaurant was excellent. I thought the New England Seafood Platter was a little over priced and not much lobster. All in all thoough the food was tremendous. Hats off to this Bes Best Western.

« Not so great stay for price »

The hotel was ok, not what I would of hoped for for the price. Breakfast good except for terrible coffee out of a machine. Staff not very helpful, would not stay again. Location not bad but many other hotels right near by

« Big room with tiny surprises! »

Pleasant check-in experience. Nice indoor pool. Surprisingly varied assortment of breakfast items. Large room featured a couch, two easy chairs, and a king-sized bed with incongruously tiny pillows. HUGE walk-in close with three hangers. Could use better lighting throughout the room. Biggest surprise of all: Small bathroom with a toilet that resembled those found in a nursery school. (You'll think you lost your sense of proprioception when you take a seat on any of the guest room thrones at this Best Western ; that's all I'm sayin'!) .

    « Weekend Getaway »

Had a very nice stay at Best Western Friday, Aug 26th. The breakfast was more then I expected. Eggs, home fries and bacon plus fresh fruit, a variety of bakery items, yogurt, and hot and cold cereals. Our room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. There was a housekeeping issue but it was resolved by the manager, much to my satisfaction. I would definitely stay there again.

« 2 Nights Vacation in Bestwestern Inn »

Hotel rooms were good. Breakfast was good. Our Family liked the additional amenities . Will recommend others to use their services. Enjoyed our stay. Hotel rooms were good. Breakfast was good. Our Family liked the additional amenities . Will recommend others to use their services.

« Let the baby sleep on the floor »

A week before our visit I booked a room for my son, his wife and their 9 month old baby. I asked to reserve a crib and was assured that one would be available. (A very proud rep even beamed that it would be free of charge.) Two days prior to my family arriving I personally confirmed the reservation at the front desk and reminded them of the crib. No problem was the reply. When my son arrived the desk was at first confused, then said they would get a crib, but pointed out that there were no actual reservations for a crib. First come first serve. I replied that was not what I was told and that I would not have made the hotel reservation in the first place if I could not have guaranteed a crib for my 9 month old grandson. After an hour or so they came to the room with a crib with no mattress. The desk man advised we fold a quilt to use as a mattress. As a children's doctor I informed him that not only was this unwise, it was down right dangerous. He then suggested we put the child on the floor to sleep! Not Best Western's finest hour. We asked if they could borrow a crib from one of the ten hotels in the area. We offered to get it ourselves. They told us that would not be possible. They left us with no suggestions or plan to bed a now very sleepy and VERY cranky baby. We eventually called relatives who live in a different town and had to drive quite a way to borrow a crib. Returning it two days later. The next day we complained at the desk and were told to take it up with the hotel manage, who was only available between the hours of midnight and 7AM! Since that night I have called the manager twice with no returned call. I have called Best Western's central customer care number a total of 4 times and each time I received a short "Sorry" but when I mentioned some recompense for my time and travel I was told that a more senior agent was necessary and I would be called back to discuss the problem. Four times. No calls back. Ever.

« Good value on weekends »

This is a great location if you're planning to spend time in Boston. Close to Mass Pike, close to Riverside T station which takes you right into the city. Prices are a little outrageous during the work week, but Fri-Saturday rates are great for the convenient location. Beautiful restaurant/bar a plus!! Can't really ask for more for a basic hotel.

    « Good Value »

We thought our hotel was a good value for being outside the city of Boston. The breakfast had many good options including yogurt, fresh fruit, milk eggs and pancakes. The breakfast is from 6-9AM during the week and 7 to 10:30 on the weekend so you can swim first and not miss breakfast. The indoor pool is open until 10pm at night.

    « Absolutely Disgusted »

I booked a two night stay through Expedia at the Best Western TLC in Waltham Massachusetts. The day before my trip I called the actual location to verify my reservation, price and any additional fees. I spoke with Jason (whom I later found out was the manager), he verified my reservation, I asked if it would be OK to pay cash for my room, because I don't like using my CC too much. He said yes that's fine, but I would need a credit card to hold for incidentals. I said that would be fine, asked if he knew about how much that would be? He said $45, then corrected himself because it wasn't a prepaid stay and said no more than $50. When I arrived at the hotel the next day, the girl was checking me in, she asked for my ID and my credit card she gave me a paper to sign. As I handed them to her I told her that I called yesterday and someone named Jason said it was ok that I was paying cash. She also said that would be fine. I asked if the 15% hold was for the incidentals. She said Yes, then told me that the card didn't go through for the full amount of the stay AND incidentals. I agreed with her and said I thought u were only charging the card for the incidentals? She went to the office and came back out with a gentle men, I attempted to explain to him about the conversation that I had the prior day with Jason, he said yes it was him that I spoke with and he remembers the conversation BUT he thought I was asking just about the incidentals. I said but I SPECIFICALLY asked u SPECIFIC questions he just repeated that HE misunderstood. I tried to explain to him that Im not from this state, I just drove 3 1/2 hours to get here and only deposited a certain amount, but I would pay the rest in cash if that was OK he told me there was nothing they can do! Anoyed and disappointed in the experience I asked if he new if there was a BA bank around, I'll go deposit money and be back but that I was not happy about the inconvenience, and I will be making a complaint. I asked since he's the manager if I could have his General Managers information. At that time an older lady who had been standing in the door way stepped out to "assist". She said she was the GM. I tried to again explain to her that I just drove out of state 3 1/2 hours to get here and repeated the conversation that I had with Jason the Manager yesterday, he AGAIN confirmed that he did have this conversation with me and HE had misunderstood what I said. I again asked if I could pay the remainder in cash, she said No! I said this is absolutely crazy, I'll try to find an ATM and be back. She said what I can do for u is "CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION AND YOU CAN FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY!!" In shock I asked for her name she said Margot, and make sure you take my business card" turned her back and walked away... I asked Jason for a receipt to verify that nothing was charged to my card. He handed me a paper. I called customer service to complain. They said there's nothing they can do except pass it along to the corporate office. Someone would be in contact with me, And he could try to find me another Best Western... The hotel they found was over an hour further away and they wouldn't give me the same price. I ended up finding a room on my own at a GREAT hotel The Sonesta ES Suits in Burlington Mass!! This was the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD AT A BEST WESTERN!!! AND ON TOP OF IT ALL NO ONE FROM CORPORATE HAS BEEN IN TOUCH AND THEY ENDED UP CHARGING MY ACCOUNT!!

« Nice hotel outside of Boston »

We stayed at the Best Western TLC during our family New England road trip. It was convenient to the Legoland Discovery Center in Somerville for an evening of fun with our kids--8 and 4 yrs old, as well as for the following day's educational Boston outing. The hotel lobby is lovely (my son loved the waterfall feature). Our room was clean and comfortable. There was a place where the wallpaper was beginning to peel in the bathroom. While somewhat unattractive, it wasn't a big problem. We enjoyed the breakfast options. We did not have a chance to go swimming, but the pool area looked nice.

« In to visit a family member »

Hotel employees were very helpful and kind! Uber service from hotel was great ! The rooms are a little average. We had a non smoking room and it smelled like smoke . Beds only had three pillows small square pillows. Not terrible not the best overall a decent stay

    « College »

Quiet and very clean. Several places near by to eat. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. We went to Boston for the day. Drive was not far. Rooms were quiet. Breakfast had many choices. Children friendly.

« Great mid range hotel in Boston! »

Clean hotel, lots of room for our family of 6. Fun pool for the kids. Great hot breakfast buffet in the mornings. Only 35-40 minute drive to downtown boston even in the traffic. Only thing missing is a self service laundry.

    « up grade »

booked a handicap room, found the bathroom old and dated, need to be updated for handicap person. The bed room was ehh! but liveable, could use and upgrade which I find with older motels not only BW. The one thing missing in BW and others is a nite lite so you can find your way. House keeping could have bee better.

Just came back from a trip to New Hampshire, flying in and out of Boston. I didn't think it was necessary to make a reservation in Boston, but I was mistaken! There wasn't a hotel available within 40 minutes of Boston. We ended up at a Best Western in Waltham MA. The hotel was advertising a price of $325 online which we were (reluctantly) willing to pay. When we got to the hotel, the price was jacked up even further to $480 (including tax) because we got the last room. The man at the front desk said that normally the room rate was $160. To add insult to injury, the room was worn and the beds were uncomfortable. I will never consider another Best Western... terrible business practice!

« Spacious, small balcony, clean »

Stayed two nights so we could visit Boston for a day. Free parking at hotel. Drove to Riverside train stop ($6 for the day to park there) and took the greenline to Boston for $5.50 return. Took about an hour to reach Boston Commons. Wifi was excellent. Air conditioning was blowing next to the desk so had to move laptop over to coffee table. Large room and very comfortable.

    « Comfortable and Affordable »

Our room was spacious, clean and modern. It had a comfortable king sized bed with lots of pillows. We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the free breakfasts. The food was quite good and the coffee was excellent! The hotel was a 10 minute drive to downtown Waltham. Will definitely stay here again!

    « An enjoyable weekend »

We stayed for the second time 21st this hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We all enjoyed the free breakfast that the hotel provided. I will definitely stay there again.

« Average hotel with high price »

We found ourselves in Boston for the night and downtown was sold out. This was an easy 30 minute drive from downtown. The hotel itself looks newer or recently remodeled. The attached bar/restaurant was very nice with a large beer selection and active night life for a Tuesday night. The staff was polite and friendly. The room itself had very uncomfortable beds and pillows. I woke up with a stiff back from the firmness of the mattress. I understand that Boston has higher prices than other cities in the U.S but I was floored that with taxes this was $400 for a Best Western. I am not sure if this was demand pricing but no way is this normally worth price. I am from Milwaukee and this room would of been $89 for the night. I have stayed in five star hotels down town Chicago for less than this Best Western.

    « Comfort and convenience »

Hotel is centratlly located with easy access to Boston and suburbs. Great breakfast included. Nic e pool and decent workout facility. Restaurant attached is both convenient and very good. Bed comfort was lacking both the mattress and pillows. Next time we would opt for the king bed for hopefully better comfort.

    « Really nice »

The location is about 25 mins driving distance from downtown Boston. The room was clean, good wifi. Big room. Very nice breakfast with fresh fruits, eggs, potatoes, bagels, muffins and lots more. Coffee offered to guests all day. Nice heated indoor pool. We had a nice stay.

« Nice place to stay. »

We stayed in a king room that was roomy and clean. Price as very reasonable for the Boston area. The restaurant is very nice and the food is good. The free breakfast is just okay. Nothing special. If we return to Boston, we will likely stay here again.

« Nice clean friendly hotel! »

This was the nicest Best western I've been to. Would definitely recommend. The rooms are spacious. Everything is clean and new. There is an indoor pool and free continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly! Good location right near the prospect patk

« Nice rooms. Great staff. »

I stayed here while visiting a homesick camper. Margot, the manager, saw that I had been upsold on Priceline's "stay tonight deal." (Lesson learned: don't trust hotel aggregation sites... always call the hotel directly). While she couldn't do anything about the first night, she gave me a great rate for the second. Which included a great breakfast, even for a low-carb eater. Quiet, clean, hospitable, convenient to Boston (with car). I'd gladly stay again.

The service was excellent and the staff were courteous friendly and very professional. They went above and beyond board to make sure that their guest are satisfied. I have recommend this hotel to several of my friends and strangers as well. I will and would recommend this hotel to any one will visit the Boston and Waltham area. Best Western TLC Waltham continue the excellent job you are doing see you all soon.

« Good, affordable hotel and surprisingly modern! »

I went there because I initially had business to attend to in Waltham (and overall this city has been my rest stop of choice). Although I usually booked across the street, prices there were cheaper this time. I was pleasingly surprised by the great, modern looks of the hallway and breakfast room although I quickly realized it wasn't an equal measure of the pool area and gym (closet-sized, didn't want to think about 2 strangers working out at the same time). The room was okay. Unstable parts in the shower's floor structure and definite feel of the plastic piqué on the beds. Usual paper-thin walls (and doors, oh my, all the moving around and slapping and chatting), but nothing surprising. Breakfast was good and well furnished. Happily pleased with everything. Yummy start to the day (but don't get there last minute, you'll barely get leftovers, if any). Wouldn't mind going back, but didn't move to top of the list for that area.

« I suppose I should be grateful that they had a room? »

Had a business meeting near Boston and found everything booked up - except this hotel, which had a room available for $500. With little choice, I took it, but this is demand pricing at its worst. (I noticed that the price rose to $600 not much later.) The hotel itself? Nothing at all special. I know it's just economics, but leaves a very bad taste. Will not return if I can possibly avoid it.

    « Conveniently located »

This hotel is conveniently located if you have business at Brandeis University. The bed was large and comfortable. The staff members were friendly. However, I hope the quality and a variety of the breakfast will be improved.

« Incompetence to the max! Go elsewhere. »

So, we decided to stop at this upgraded dump of a hotel some R and R and decided to spend one night. The room which was assigned reeked of dog's urine. I personally informed the front desk clerk who did not bother to check, but stated that, " we nehveeer allow pet, we're not pet fwendly." Whatever, not I the mood to argue. The following morning we checked out and I realized that I was charged for a two night stay instead of one. I immediately contacted the hotel and the incompetent desk clerk told me that it was a security deposit that would go way after 3- 5 days. Who has ever heard of a security deposit that high? I asked to speak to a manager on duty or the GM and neither were available: The GM was out of state and the "manager" was playing hid and go seek with me. I was told to email them both concerning the overcharge on my one day stay. So, I guess we're screwed if anything goes wrong when the GM or a FD manager is absent? Go elsewhere before you get assigned a smelly room and end up paying so much money for a one night stay, like I did. I am still waiting for a reply from the GM or the FD manager.

    « Great Hotel »

I know that I am supposed to type 200 characters, but I am not a long winded person. My family loves this hotel for visiting family and being comfortable. Thank you Best Western. Still need more characters. Can't think of more.

    « Lovely Place »

Visited and was so surprised. What a great hotel. The staff were super helpful and courteous, the room was spacious, and the breakfast was nice. Was even able to grab a beer on tap each night in a pub in the lobby area. Indoor pool area as well.

    « Excellent quality-price ratio »

We spent two days at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and soudproofed, and the breakfast (included) was generous. We also had a very good experience at the hotel restaurant : the Copper House Tavern. I would like to enhance the politeness and helpfulness of the staff, especially the cooperation offered by the general manager, Margot Fenton, who helped to settle a problem with my reservation made by error through a third party, which could have been costly. Thanks also to the maid who reacted quickly when she realised that I had forgotten something in the room. We will return without hesitation to this hotel, but I will make sure to reserve directly.

    « Great Breakfast »

We enjoyed our stay; the staff were helpful, the kids really loved the breakfast, we enjoyed the allergy friendly options availible, the pool was warm, we traveled by train into Boston in well under an hour, the resturaunt had friendly staff and gigantic american portions of delicious food.

average stay at a hotel surrounded by other hotels. the elevator wait was as you might find at a swanky night club. the bar was fairly nice, though and if i was a child, the breakfast and pool options would have been great. overall, asking 250 a night for this place you might expect Madonna to play in the lobby

    « Hotel Pillows-Yes, just like home »

I have had neck surgeries so pillows are a big deal for me when traveling. I stayed at Best Western TLC and that is what I received tender loving care. I arrived late Sunday evening and realized that I hadn't mentioned that I needed a flatter pillow or 3 flat sheets and a pillow case prior to arriving. I explained my plight to Marcos (front desk evening/night shift), and he responded quickly. Initially he offered a tablecloth and pillowcase as he did not have any sheets at the front desk. He even offered a nice fluffy comforter to use as my pillow, but it wasn't workable. After going up to my room and then coming down to use the exercise equipment, I checked with him. Even though the linen department was closed, he personally went to the laundry room, found me the sheets and pillow case, and had them for me after my workout. I really appreciated his efforts on my behalf. I don't know if you have any other requests for ?flat pillows?, but they would be a nice option when I stay at your hotel.

    « NEVER AGAIN! »

We were at the Waltham, MA location this past weekend and for an extremely busy weekend (soccer tournament) where the hotel was quite full and there was only one operating elevator! The front desk staff on Friday evening and Saturday evening were less than accommodating and/or friendly. After 7 hours of traveling, the girls that were there were told after 15 minutes of swimming to get out of the pool, as one girl who had just arrived jumped in (not knowing she shouldn't) so all the girls had to get out dripping wet with no towels anywhere in site!! After asking 3x we finally received towels. Some girls never swam again since they were told they were being watched on a camera and didn't want to get yelled at for making a splash. The restaurant stopped serving food at 10 pm on a weekend? We got there Friday night and went in at 9:50 and they said - sorry we're all cleaned up for the night. There were several of us who would have dropped a serious amount on food and beverage during this weekend but had no chance with the schedule we had so we all went out. Bad decision when you know you have a tournament and all the hotels are full and everyone would be looking to eat and drink once back from all their games. Finally, we had one more game on Sunday to determine if we would all have to book another night (at least 15 families) and the front desk had nothing to say other than we would have to check out by 11 in the am and then check back in if we wanted to book another day - really! Our game was at 10:30 am so in my experience the correct answer would be "that's fine, we will give you a late check-out and then let us know if you need the rooms after your game". The revenue earned would have been worth the wait since it was a Sunday night and no one was taking those rooms behind us. Bad decision on the staff's part. We stay at many hotels and I have never had a more uncaring and unaccommodating staff to deal with so therefore - many families packed up and relocated. Best Western's loss. This hotel going in looked like a nicer Best Western but it was a serious disappointment which will keep me going to the Hilton and Marriotts who treat their guests like family.

« Wonderful guest accommodations for daughter's upcoming wedding »

While our daughter's wedding in Belmont, MA isn't until June 12, we have only wonderful things to say about the folks over at the Best Western TLC in Waltham, MA. From the first phone call I made to manager Margot Fenton, I have consistently heard from her the marvelous words:"Sure, we can do that for you." Unlike other hotels I had contacted, Margot didn't hesitate to offer me the exact number of rooms I wanted to reserve for my daughter's wedding. And she went out of her way to quote us a great price for our guests. Plus, even when our guests made requests for rooms after the deadline date, Margot honored all requests made. We are confident that we will be writing to Travel Advisor again once the wedding is over to talk about the wonderful experience all of us will have had celebrating this very special event in our daughter's life with the staff at Best Western TLC! Thanks, Best Western, TLC!

« good value great hotel »

Great value and very close to my daughters college Bentley University. Friendly staff and good restaurant in the hotel with outdoor seating also. Breakfast in lobby is good. Stayed here every time we visited in the last 4 years.

    « Satisfied! »

The general manager Margot Fenton was absolutely fantastic to deal with.. She was extremely helpful and took great care of me when an unruly guest woke me up. I can't say enough good things about her.. I will definitely stay at Best western next time I'm in town.. I highly recommend it..

    « Exemplorary service. »

From the welcome to departure, each person on staff we met was friendly, and offered to help. They created a most wonderful atmosphere. Staff was courteous and also professional. Room was clean, spacious and welcoming. Breakfast buffet eggs were cold ad I wish they had had a microwave where I could have warmed them up.

    « Outstanding »

We stayed in Waltham because my son was graduating from a college in Boston. The hotel staff was outstanding, rooms were clean and comfortable, and having a bar/restaurant (which is outstanding and reasonably priced) in the hotel truly helped us not have to run around finding places to eat every night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the Boston area.

« Nice hotel with excellent breakfast »

Great choice for location just outside of Boston and convenient to everything. Free parking and awesome breakfast stood out for me. Believe it or not, I think the scrambled eggs were actually eggs. Great taste. I also loved the 24/7 coffee. The only thing missing at this hotel is a hot tub.

    « Loved it! »

Great location as it's right off the highway. Great service thanks to Dave at the front desk. Our room was large and comfortable and the hotel offers and American breakfast which was perfect as it had everything from pancakes to muffins to eggs to cereal, etc. There's a pool on site and a popular restaurant if you don't want to go far. I was pleasantly surprised with this BW and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend as it's only 20 minutes from downtown Boston by car

    « Wonderful Waltham! »

We grew up in Waltham, & visit often. The Best Western is really nice. The restaurant/bar, breakfast, & pool are added benefits. It's conveniently located, & price is right. Also, we can get a cab easily if going out. We plan to stay there every time we're in town.

    « Wonderful! »

My husband and I have stayed here multiple times with a son playing college sports in the Boston area. From the front desk staff, to the bountiful breakfast buffet, everything is great. General manager, Margot, is so attentive and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location could not be better for on/off the local highways. We would recommend this hotel to any of our friends and family. Also, a nice restaurant/ bar on site is an added convenience.

    « Perfect! »

Best Westerns have a range. Some are just OK, some are high-end hotels in disguise. TLC is the latter. Great location on the I95 with a short drive into downtown Boston. Clearly quite recently renovated. Nice rooms, lovely modern lobby. Restaurant onsite, which is unusual for a BW. The included breakfast was better than any of the BWs we've stayed at before (or since)! Actual fresh cut fruit (not fruit cocktail), many breads, cereals, beverages, sausages and eggs. There was a pool that looked great, but we did not have a chance to swim. One really minor quibble. The pillows are odd. Small and thin, You need a couple to approximate one regular pillow. Still 5 stars and would definitely stay here again next time we're in the Boston area.

    « Comfortable night »

My husband and I stayed here for one night in late April as part of a roadtrip. We could tell that the hotel had been recently renovated. Great room on a higher floor. Wasn't expecting a balcony so that was a nice surprise. Nice assortment for breakfast with eggs and sausage. Would recommend.

    « GOOD and Pleasent »

Very nice hotel only problem was they changed TV selection of channels. NO HBO that was disappointing. The Breakfast was good. It had a large selection of Hot and cold items. The staff kept the tables clean and food well stocked. I unfortunately could not eat at the restaurant as I was visiting family, but it seamed full of customers.

« Reno great, staff not great »

My experiences with Best Western vary from wonderful to awful. During our stay in April, this property only earned two stars mostly for the ill trained and unmotivated staff. We were in town for a conference nearby. The hotel has been very nicely renovated on the inside and outside. Housekeeping was very good. On arrival, the front desk staff was indifferent, going through the motions. We want to a nearby restaurant and came back for the night. The room and beds were comfortable. In the morning, we went down for breakfast. About 50 guests were in the room but no staff member. The pancake machine was out and other areas needed tending. Eventually someone showed up. I went out to speak to the front desk about the issues and no one was there. A note indicated they would be back. I waited awhile but no one showed up. This is very distressing in a very busy time period. We left our key cards and departed. Since I could not speak to management, I wrote to Best Western on their site. The GM replied with an apology and offered a discount on my next visit. Thanks for the quick reply, but I wish you spend your time training and managing the staff.

    « Great hotel »

we stayed here for a basketball tournament. Was surprised how nice the hotel was for the price. Restaurant was great. Good food and service was excellent! only complaint is the beds are a little small. Was tight for two people to sleep. the pillows were small and flat and only had a couple. we would definitely stay here again. was in very convenient area. very close to highway.

« Way beyond my expectations! »

I was hesitant about this hotel, since I never stayed at a Best Western before and the price was so reasonable but I AM SO GLAD I TOOK A CHANCE AND BOOKED IT! The room was spacious and CLEAN! As a matter of fact the entire hotel was so clean and modern! Everything was new and recently updated. The free breakfast was plentiful and tasty, so many options! A quick drive into Boston without the city prices! I can't wait to stay again.

    « Staying in Waltham »

During my stay in Boston I had to visit some people in Waltham. I was advised to stay in Boston and by car visit Waltham. I did the opposite and I had multiple profit. Attractive prices, cozy room, free parking, one minute access to I95 for going everywhere. Even during the big snowfall (first days of April! - 24C to Southern Europe vs 24F in Boston). Hotel workers working all day they were cleaning all areas outside and especially keeping parking area reachable and safe. Bravo! Very gentle staff, in all areas.A big improvement of breakfast is compulsory in order to be competitive with the other hotels in the very close area.

    « nice place W of BOS »

property is in area surrounded by other brands this is a good choice there is a well rate restaurant pub on first floor though we did not use it inside remodeled and perhaps soon outside will be as well

« My favorite hotel in Waltham »

I stay in hotels often and have stayed in all of the Waltham local hotels. My first choice is still the Best Western TLC for many reasons. Great staff, location, and restaurant, but also consistently excellent service when I need assistance with a last minute reservation. Loyalty goes both ways and I often refer others to the BW TLC as it is my first choice when I stay in Waltham.

    « Staff were phenomenal! »

Staff and management at this hotel were deeply responsive, warm, and welcoming during my stay. A beautiful quiet room and good breakfast. Most of all, so nice to have a real person assisting rather than just a corporate face. Thanks so much for great service!

    « Great hotel. »

Our family loves this hotel. Comfortable rooms. Large, hot breakfast. Friendly staff. Don't know what else to say. Don't have 200 characters to say. I am a person of a few words. Still not 200 characters? Give me a break.

« Convenient Alternative to Staying in Boston »

We stayed here while attending the World Figure Skating Championships at the TD Garden in Boston. Very convenient location. Easy to get to from the main highways and a short, easy drive into Boston. A great alternative to staying in the city. Free parking also a plus. The lobby was clean and inviting. The breakfast area was also clean and well maintained. Room was comfortable with a mini fridge and a small microwave which was nice. Pool and small exercise room was a bonus feature. There was a cute restaurant/pub attached to the property. You could eat in or get take out. My only complaint was the staff. Our room key cards did not work and the staff seemed annoyed that I was bothering them with this issue. At check-in, we alerted that staff that we wanted to split the bill between two parties and was assured this was a non-issue. However, at check out the desk person seemed less than thrilled to accommodate us. There was a broken step on the ladder in the deep end of the pool. We told a staff member who was in the pool area and he actually rolled his eyes. There are a lot of hotel options in Waltham and I will probably consider a different one next trip as I felt that my business wasn't welcomed or wanted at this particular Best Western.

« Best Western Waltham is the Best »

All newly renovated, clean, comfortable, healthy breakfast choices like fresh fruit and yogurt, free parking, and all for a very reasonable price. Look no further, we do a lot of traveling, and this hotel rates among the highest.

    « Nice getaway »

My 6 year old daughter and I have stayed at this hotel many times. We live about 2 hours north and I like to take her on surprise trips to different attractions in the Boston area. This hotel is set in a great location. Most attractions that we venture to are within a 30 minute drive. There is a nice breakfast set up down stairs and we always leave stuffed and happy. The only "Con" I have is that I believe they should offer some type of discount for people that stay with them more frequently.

    « Best Western Waltham »

With major renovations, this hotel is now excellent in all aspects. I have taken advantage of the pool and the restaurant on several occasions. Everything was first-rate. The staff was helpful, the modernization has added to the charm and the hotbreakfasts are plentiful and complete with all sorts of offerings. The rooms have all been redocrated and all the amenities are up-to-date as well.

    « excellent stay »

very helpful staff-especially-Margot Fenton-the general manager. we needed good pastry advise-she sent us to the right place. breakfast is very good . Rooms are spacious. Very courteous people stayed there for one night MARCH 2016.

    « overnight medical stay »

This was an overnight stay due to a medical appointment in the area. There was no ventilation in the bathroom This was an old hotel comfortable bed Planned on having 2 queen beds and only got 1 The room was okay overall. Great being able to open the slide doors to get some fresh air in.

« Some Place Like Home »

It's so wonderful to have a high quality hotel very close to where I work so I can stay when challenging weather in New England makes a 70 mile commute a real challenge. I always choose to stay at the Best Western in Waltham because the manager and staff are fabulous, the beds are luxuriously comfortable, there's an excellent restaurant on site, breakfast is great and I feel like it's my home away from home.

« Solid hotel that makes an effort. »

If you are looking for a luxury hotel, you are looking in the wrong place. but if you want a clean, solid, budget friendly business hotel, this is a good option. Great location if you are visiting Dassault Systems or Wolverine offices. Restaurant that shares the same building is solid as well.

    « Quiet and friendly »

Stayed here on a Saturday evening just to get away for a night. Upon arriving early, Ruth assisted me in checking in quickly and she was extremely pleasant with a bubbly personality. We had a room with king bed, my only complaint is that the bathroom is a little on the smaller side and the toilet was lower than average. But other than that the room was great with a mini refrigerator and microwave. The pool area looked nice. They have coffee station which is set up 24hrs. I was very happy about that. Also, the complimentary breakfast next morning was nice which included hot items as well. I did use the restaurant attached for take out as well on Sat evening, ordered the Italian Grinder pizza and then went back later in evening for drinks. They were open till 1am. Overall, a good experience. So having the hotel and restaurant together is definitely a bonus. Would go back again.

« Not the best visit »

I have stayed at this hotel in the past when traveling for my son's Medical appointments. Usually it is wonderful. Unfortunately this time it wasn't as great. When I booked the room I asked to have a room near an exit and our room was in the middle of the 3rd floor. When we opened the door to our room the heat was blasting. They had set the heater to 75 degrees. No matter how low we turned the thermostat we couldn't get the room to cool down. All through the night the fan kept running. The lobby and pool area were freezing. The pool area had no towels in it and when we went to the desk to ask for some they didn't have any at the desk either and it took quite awhile for someone to bring some. The breakfast was okay. The eggs, sausage and potatoes were luke warm at best. The staff was very friendly. Overall I would stay there again because from past experience I know this hotel can be better. Hopefully it was just an off night and not how it will be in the future.

    « leisure »

Best Western is excellent we always stay here. The staff is excellent and always make us feel so comfortable. We like the fact they have breakfast and a restaurant for more formal dinners. The location is perfect for us to visit our daughter who lives in Newton. Also great for shopping.

    « Valentine's Weekend @ BW TLC »

BW TLC , MY BOYFRIEND AND I HAD A GREAT Valentine's Wkend =) We mostly stayed in the room which I loved #302 & we HIBERNATED LOL but overall it's a great hotel (*SIMPLE, CLEAN AND SPACIOUS*); We had free breakfast which was enjoyable in bed; We went to lunch & dinner at the Restaurant which was okay; The prices on the menu was somewhat EXPENSIVE & the food was okay could've been better. The front desk staff was very friendly & respectable ... I also enjoyed my time in the fitness room; We wished we could've stayed a little longer but it was just for a time; NO WORRIES we will be back again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

« Your basic American Business Hotel »

What can you say about the Waltham Best Western - I almost forgot to review it, that is how memorable it is. I stay here regularly when across in Waltham, this hotel is everything that speaks of 'road warrior' business travel. It is close to the freeway, it has free wifi, you get served breakfast in a paper bowl so that you can throw it in the trash and not have to employ someone to wash dishes. It is bright, functional and absolutely loveless. As far as i can tell there is nothing to recommend Waltham, unless you are visiting a business there, so unless you are travelling on business in which case this level of functional convenience will probably be quite satisfactory then you should never go to this hotel - the idea of spending a romantic weekend in The Best Western in Waltham is not a concept i can easily relate to. It fits within an expense budget, it offers rewards points, actually the breakfast is quite good - so long as you don't mind the plastic cutlery, joyless breakfast room and paper bowls - a decent selection of cereal, some nasty orange juice, yogurts and stuff. Its actually better than you would think. The pool is small and very public - i am not sure i have ever seen anyone in it. One thing that is of note is the Copper Bottom tavern connected to the hotel at the ground floor. It is quite a nice, lively bar. It is a redeeming factor. i would like the waiting staff to be a bit cleaner - they are a little grubby - but some of the food is okay.

« Best Western Waltham, MA »

Excellent in every way, except they need blankets on their beds, not just a thin bedspread. Very pretty, quiet and great breakfast! Have stayed there twice now. Don't know what else to say. Computer says I must say more!

« Very Good hotel; great staff and great management »

I again stayed at the BW TLC while on business travel and had a very good stay. Everything worked as intended, good clean room, great staff, restaurant food also very good. I recommend the BW TLC to others traveling in the area.

    « very nice hotel »

everything was great, I was there for night work so I did not get to enjoy much of the amenities but what I did experience was great. The food at the restaurant is very good. I was sleeping during the day and was not disturbed at all it was very quit and I was not woken up once

« experience of my stay »

the Best Western hotel grand me a very nice and enjoyable stay during either my business or holiday the service quality of hotel is even batter than good, normally we book the hotel via I am not sure if we make the reservation directly will we get the better room rate compaer to

    « Wonderful Waltham »

I grew up in Waltham. Whenever we visit the Best Western is where we stay. Even when younger, we ?hung out' at the hotel. 1 of our HS reunions was there, too. The rooms are nice. Pool area great. Lounge is convenient. Rooms have fridge, & microwave. It is just so convenient. It makes visits to our home town like a mini vacation! The breakfast was awesome!

    « Best Western Cares »

great experience, clean affordable, staff was friendly, helpful, caring. the pool was very nice, was in town to have an operation at a nearby medical facility, the hotel staff made sure that i was woken up on time and provided transportation to the facility. I mentioned why i was there and the staff went out of there way to alleviate some of my fears ( simple comments like, don't worry, you'll be okay, everything will be all .right meant so much)

« another stay at a great place! »

I had the pleasure once again to return to the Best western on Winter street waltham, and again I was not disappointed with the service, and friendly staff, as well as a clean room to stay in. easy check in, and out, and i was amaze to hear that the staff remembered my name. always a great experience!

    « Convenient and welcoming »

Selected this hotel because of its convenient location for me. It turned out to be an excellent stay, a very ample free breakfast, free Internet and no charge for parking. Staff very solicitous and accommodating. I would definitely say there again and highly recommend it. If there is any criticism, a minor one, not enough TV channels offered; too many sports channels and not enough other.

    « Nice place »

This hotel is really nice, has an awesome breakfast. Only things I noticed were the elevators are old and don't always respond when you push the button, but when they do respond, make sure you are out of the way of the door, because it closes fast. I also noticed that the door to the pool area was broken, so the pool area wasn't as secure as usual, and the noise carried into the lobby. Overall a very nice place, and I would definitely stay here again.

    « Nice Stay »

Good accommodations for the price, Good location for the area of our visit. Restaurant/Bar is excellent. Room was very clean and well furnished. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem was we checked out at 4 am and could not find anyone at the desk.

    « Better than I expected »

I was warned by several of my colleagues that this would be a step down from the Hiltons and Marriotts that we usually stay in when we travel on business. I had no choice though, Waltham is one of the most under-available towns I have ever been in and on one such visit, it was either this or a town some distance away. Imagine my surprise then, when the staff at checkin was cheerful, engaging and efficient. The room itself had a balcony (unusual in that none of the hotels I stayed at here had one), although it is Waltham, not exactly much to view there. The room was standard modern day hotel room, nothing unsual there. Service was good enough, I don't think there was any breakfast (or at least one like the spread Marriotts/Hiltons put out), but I didn't want any, as I had a breakfast meeting. Parking is a little difficult as there is an onsite restaurant which is quite good by the way - we have eaten there even when not staying here. Those patrons probably use up quite a lot of parking spaces. Location is just right for almost all Waltham business meetings.

« Best Western Waltham, the "Best" »

Over the past year or so, this hotel as transformed into a model for all others. New, clean, and remodeled, they now offer fresh fruit as part of their breakfast choices. Great restaurant on premised. Highly recommended.

Visited this hotel 8 times in the past year while visiting family. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful and gone out of their way for us. The hotel has undergone extensive renovations so the accommodations are more than adequate .... Very comfortable beds. The complementary breakfast is in a bright, cheerful room with a helpful staff attendant present. There is a good selection of hot and cold items to choose from. Overall this hotel offers very excellent value.

    « Overall incompetence »

History of my recent experiences with Best Western 1. I checked into Best Western, Manchester NH on 10/20/2015. I was advised of a $25.00 credit for my second stay and was enrolled in this promotion. 2. On 10/28/2015 I checked into the same hotel and asked for my $25.00 credit. I was advised that I was not eligible for this credit because my reservation was made through Expedia not Directly with Best Western. I was not happy. 3. On 10/28/2015 I checked into Best Western,, Waltham MA and again I requested the credit. I was also advised that the credit did not apply because my reservation was made through Expedia. 1) Now comes my experience in Waltham: a) After check in went to my 4th floor room and my key could not unlock the door. I called from the house phone and was advised that someone would come up immediately. I impatiently waited about 5 minutes and a gentleman came up with new keys. He tried the door and was successful in unlocking the door. He handed the keys to me to try. I was unsuccessful. We both tried again and again and I could not consistently unlock the door. HE TOLD ME THAT I WAS NOT PROPERLY USING THE KEYS. He said he would come up again if was locked out but he was off duty at 11:00 PM. I told him I w anted an other room. He told me that this room was the last with one king size bed. I told him I wanted another room even if it had 2 queens. I told him that I wanted the room at the same price! He finally agreed to another room. b) I checked into the new room. The new room keys worked sometimes and sometimes required several attempts. The second room had a toilet seat that was not properly attached. The dead bolt was not operating properly. I complained and the toilet seat was repaired.. Later I was locked out of the new room. Another gentleman came up with new keys and these keys worked consistently until I checked out. c) I received an invoice for $189.99 per night plus tax despite my confirmed rate of $164.75 per night. I complained to the desk clerk who said she had to see my confirmation, I showed her my confirmation and she then said that the manager, Margo Fenton would have to adjust the bill. She asked for my email address and my phone number which I gave to the clerk. I was told that Ms. Fenton would be in around 1:00 PM and would contact me. At about 3:00 PM I called Ms.. Fenton and left a voice mail asking to be called. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALLL OR EMAIL FROM MS. FENTON. Please immediately issue a credit for $109.56 for the room overcharge and $25.00 credit for 2 stays. I also feel that an additional credit should be issued as partial compensation for the inconvenience to me.

    « Perfect Weekend »

We came for the Brandeis Fall Fest weekend and everything was nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, and rates were good. We stayed last year and were happy to return. My son also moved to the area this year, so we will be looking forward to staying here more often! We would definitely recommend this hotel as we have in the past.

    « TLC = Happy Lodging! »

Whenever I need to travel to the Waltham area for appointments, I am always quite happy to utilize the Best Western TLC for the lodging component of my trip. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well stocked and serviced by an attentive housekeeping department. All the on-site amenities are present for a traveler's convenience or relaxation, such as complimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast, snack-shop, indoor pool, fitness facility, wide screen TVs, plentiful free parking, and a great lounge and restaurant. The excellent complimentary breakfast is presented in a spacious and spotless dining room. The hotel is conveniently located right off the interstate, and there is a gas station right next door. Having worked in the Hospitality Industry for many years, I truly appreciate the extremely high level of service and professionalism provided by the hotel's General Manager Margot Fenton, and her supervisory team such as Cindy Lara and Ruth St. Louis. The positive, polite, and accommodating tone set by the management is reflected in the entire hotel staff, whether it is the front desk, housekeeping, facilities staff, or the breakfast room staff. Happy traveler, Rich P.

« Good hotel for business visit »

Good hotel for business visit to Waltham. Apart from business there is not anything to do in the area. The restaurant is good, there is also nearby a good seafood restaurant called "Naked Fish" (walking distance).

« Angry over attempted cancellation. »

Nice folks at the hotel but too pricey. I confused the per night price of the stay with the total cost of the stay and booked the room on the internet. When I realized the real price and tried to cancel Best Western gave me a great reason to never use them again.

« Not worth stopping here »

Had to find a place quick to attend a funeral in Burlington. The hotels in the area are over priced, and this one was within my price range. Hotel was old. It smelled musty. The rugs need replacing. Bed was fair, and breakfast was fair. Hotel provides coffee only at the reception. Won't return here.

« Clean, convenient, and comfortable. »

This location is close to the interstate and has a great restaurant. It is convenient to Boston and surrounding towns and it clean and has well appointed rooms. The staff was very helpful and my stay here was very enjoyable. I'd stay here again and again.

    « Great Value »

Rooms and all facilities consistently always clean, with all amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. Hotel manager, and Staff are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very good. Overall it is a very good value for a family stay.

    « Nice hotel »

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms. Good service. Nice breakfast. Good restaurants in the area. Good parking area and gas station near the hotel. I worked in the area, so it was 2 minutes from the work place.

« BW TLC is a great choice »

I again stayed at the BW TLC and was glad I came back. Great staff, clean hotel, good restaurant, no problems. For a constant traveler, I like dependable hotel service and the BW TLC provides it. There are other local choices but I keep coming back to the BW due to the fact I never have a problem and the customer service is always excellent.

« Great location, amenities, and staff »

Very friendly and accommodating staff, especially general manager, Margo Fenton. Great service. Extremely comfortable. Great smiles and friendly service at the lounge. Best beds I ever slept in. Fitness center and swimming pool, who could ask for more.

    « Exercise room »

The exercise room was a welcome sight as I had just got off a long flight from Portland, OR to Boston. After using the treadmill and enjoying the exercise, I tried the weights. One of the cables broke, but when I talked to the Margot Fenton, the General Manager, the next day she said they would be fixed and ready for my next visit. When I came back 2 months later, they were repaired and all the equipment was just working well. I was very impressed with Margot's responsiveness to my request. It definitely made me feel good about my stay there both times.

I was in Waltham for business and there was a convention in town so my normal hotels were booked, a colleague recommended the Best Western so I decided to try it. Pleasant surprise, clean well lit room, good water pressure and it was nice and quiet. The on site restaurant was excellent and had craft beer and bourbon selections
