    « 1 day stay »

Stayed for 1 day. Very quiet place. Got my reservation messed up but they fixed it. Rooms are okay. Nothing fancy but acceptable. Area is quiet nice with beautiful views near by. Good internet connection and room is clean. Coffee machine however was very dusty !

« Great people, wonderful place! »

Great location to explore nearby picturesque mountains and famous Chartreuse caves. The staff was exceptionally helpful and hospitable. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend it!

    « good business hotel »

an good quality business hotel. good breakfast selection including fresh an regional foods. english of the employees is limited but even enough to communicate with them. rooms are clean and with air condition.

    « A little bit out »

Good friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Secure parking for our motorcycles. The staff pointed us to a very good pub restaurant in the town , and it's the only drawback with the hotel as it's 23min walk away from the town.

    « Very Reasonable »

Rooms vary in size from very small to very reasonable. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is great. Restaurant for dinner is ok considering options you have in nearby Grenoble. Quality of internet is rather poor. Overall, very reasonable hotel.

    « good basic 3 star hotel »

I have stayed several times in this basic business hotel . Nothing to rave about but clean , reasonable service , reasonable facilities in a fairly remote location outside Lyon in a commercial area . A bit low on staff to keep costs down but wouldn't really expect much better . Great value for money .

« Low cost business stopover hotel »

We needed a place to stay for two nights as we were attending a funeral. This hotel is functional and probably fine for business people who stay for no longer than one night. The rooms are tiny and the double bed is smaller than the average double size. The mattress was comfortable. Bathroom was clean but fittings of cheap quality. Breakfast was not good. How can a hotel obtain four stars and not offer eggs for breakfast? Hats off to front office staff. They have to be congratulated in efficiently dealing with clients at breakfast and reception, at the same time. It's not a wonder that a mistake was made on our bill. How can a 4 Star Best Western have only one person to handle checking in, checking out, breakfast, drinks and also the cleaning of the restaurant!!! The mistake on our bill was eventually sorted out but there were clients Whose departure was delayed because of this.

    « Overnight stay »

Hotel conveniently located for the motorway. Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room very spacious with balcony and small kitchen, but no utensils. Comfortable bed and very quiet. Very good value with a "hot deal". Only let down was the food but that may have been our expectations with being English. The Caesar salad bore no resemblance to any Caesar salad I have had anywhere in the world!

« Fantastic Front Of House »

Ok, we only stayed here a night before flying out, but the rooms were comfortable, quiet and did the job. The reception/front of house staff were the best I've seen in a long time. Professional, quick, helpful and polite. I've worked in hospitality and know how hard it is to get good people on the front desk. Ophelie (I think that was her name), deserves a special mention, as she was first class, helping us print our flight tickets and just generally being on top of things. The other girls and boy were good too, friendly and smiling at all times despite the language barrier. Even the girl on the front desk in the morning who checked us out, was pleasant and helpful at such an early hour. Great customer service. Many thanks.

« Good hotel, wished we could have been there longer! »

We had booked this for one night only before flying out of Grenoble airport (20 minutes drive) after a skiing holiday. Unfortunately we got caught up in the traffic chaos for the Christmas/New Year changeover after a massive snow fall which resulted in us taking 14 hours to get there rather than the 2 hours it normally takes. This meant we only actually arrived at 2 am and had 4 1/2 hours in the hotel but from our limited experience it was very good. The room was a fair size and the bed was very comfortable but in the circumstances anything would have felt great! Linen was very clean, crisp and white and amazing pillows. Wifi was a good speed and tea and coffee was provided in the room. Bathroom was a good size with a very powerful shower. Whilst held up in the traffic I did ring the hotel a couple of times to inform them we would be late arriving and fortunately they spoke English and were able to reassure me they would keep the rooms for us as, with so many people stuck in the snow, we were afraid they would give our rooms away. We thought this was very good value for money as we found it on a special deal to get two rooms for the price of one (£70). Unfortunately there was some confusion over breakfast as we understood the night porter to say that breakfast was included but apparently it wasn't so ended up having to pay over 12 Euros each for it. Whilst it was a reasonable breakfast we didn't think it was worth that much.

    « Is this a Best Western »

The rooms and modern and new and seem recent but it seems that the architect forgot to put an electric point next to the kettle which meant taking the kettle onto the desk and just and irritating start to the morning. Coupled no creamer with coffee. One person manages reception, bar, room service. How can it be efficient. Then she ends up giving me the signed credit card copy and knocks on my door in despair. Last my wake up call is 45 lates with an apology.maybe not again

« Ok but not great! »

Check in was quite slow, room was very small, but very clean, no kettle in room had to go down to reception to ask for one, was then only given a 2 coffees & sugar sachets to go with it, they also don't supply milk you have to buy that from the shop which is 3km away. Room was absolutely boiling hot and the air conditioning didn't go cold at all. There was a small hob in the room but no pots or pans supplied for you to actually be able to use it. TV is quite small and had no English channels. Hotel is based in the middle of nowhere so your kind of stuck if you don't drive. Although the taxi driver (Luke) was very friendly, quite cheap and spoke the best English we experienced in the whole of Voiron. We ate in the restaurant for one night, can highly recommend the steak burger, was good value for money with quite big portions of food. Breakfast was a complete waste of 11€90, cheap quality meats but the fresh orange juice was lovely squeezed straight from the orange, however this certainly didn't warrant the price. The reception & waiting staff tried they're best but the language barrier proved difficult, if you were lucky you got the nice lady that spoke quite good English who was lovely. The wifi hardly worked except in early hours when everybody else was asleep, Voiron has very little 3/4G so found it extremely difficult to contact home.

    « Overnight luxury stop »

We've always used the Palladior for a final overnight luxury stop before beginning our mountain walking holiday just south of Grenoble. This year the hotel had just received a fresh coat of paint and everywhere was very presentable. The hotel staff have always been courteous and helpful. Out Friday night stop usually means enjoying an "endless" meal of Frui de Mer in the restaurant. Overall our stay was excellent.
