Best Western Plus Inner Harbour

We had two nights in this hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and there is a nice sitting area in the lobby with complimentary tea and coffee making. It is within easy walking distance of the harbour. Our room was very comfortable with 2 queen beds, large TV and free WIFI. There was a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table. The room was large with plenty of storage space, and even 2 suitcase stands! The bathroom was a reasonable size with lots of white towels, shower over the bath, grab rail and room for toiletries. The room also had a small kitchentte with table and chairs, coffee maker and kettle, fridge, oven and sink. The breakfast was very nice with the usual cereal, yoghurt, etc as well as cheese omelettes, pancake and waffle makers. The hotel also has a gym open daily 24/7 and a pool which is open 9 am - 10 pm (though we didn't use either so can't comment on them). There is no restaurant at the hotel but plenty close by within walking distance.

Being a bit concerned as this was our first stay at this hotel and I am an avid Fairmont Hotel person, I wondered what I may miss from my luxury hotels. From the time we walked in we felt cared about. The front desk was polite, friendly and had out keys etc. ready and waiting for us. We arrived a bit early, but the room was ready. A very quiet hotel. As an air miles booking we were surprised at the great room we received, higher floor, corner, overlooking the harbour. The room was very clean. The hotel is a bit older, but upgraded and very comfortable. The included breakfast had something for everyone, best hotel waffles ever! Parking was secure and underground, and a bargain at $12,95 per day with in and out privilages. Checkout was quick with no surprise costs. Will be back next time we are in Victoria. No restaurant on the premises, but just next door is an acceptable one and Victoria is a walking city, so many great restaurants nearby.

For a Victoria Harbor location, the Best Western is an excellent choice. Great view of the harbor. The in/out of the secured parking was convenient for sightseeing - though most of the Victoria City Center sites are within walking distance. The breakfast offerings are fantastic - especially the eggs. The egg and meat products change each morning - so it doesn't get repetitive. Facing the harbor, with ferries and tourist milling about, one would be concerned about noise - but the landscaping on the grounds make this a non-issue. Priced well for the location - and located perfectly.

I enjoy coming to this hotel because the staff are friendly and outgoing. They go out of their way to accommodate. The hotel is one block from the harbor. I stayed in a garden room and had the view of the harbor, beautiful. My room also had a kitchenette with a stove and fridge with a small freezer. The hotel does have breakfast and there are restaurants beside and on the corners of the street.

The hotel is in a quiet location and within easy walking distance of the harbour area and Victoria town centre. Our double room was very well appointed with a balcony overlooking the outdoor pool, and in addition there was a very useful small kitchen. We had a 3 night stay and found the staff very pleasant and helpful. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

We spent one night at this hotel and it was great! The hotel location and proximity to the inner harbour was awesome. The hotel staff were helpful and the room was roomy with a small kitchenette and of course breakfast is provided. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I used my airmiles to purchase two nights in a one bedroom suite for three people. We were preparing to hike the west coast trail so we had plenty of room to prepare our gear. The bed in the pull out couch was very comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well stocked. The location was on a quiet, seemingly residential street close to the harbour and downtown. My only criticism would be that the hotel seemed somewhat dated but not tired. Oh, and I mustn't forget the fantastic serve yourself breakfast which was plentiful and varied. Staff at the front desk were also helpful.

Great location! Very comfortable bed. Room came with a kitchenette and two balconies, with a table and seating on both. Shampoo, conditioner and soap were dispensed, however, additional toiletries were available upon request. Very helpful, friendly staff - from the front desk, to the cleaners, to the employees helping with breakfast. Lovely sunroom for breakfast.

Nice location but, probably one of the few without air conditioning. Bed is very comfortable. Surprisingly this hotel doesn't have lotion in the room or the other basics I tend to expect at a hotel. I think I will stick with Marriott hotels.

After busy days in Asia and Vancouver wanted to relax in Victoria. Hotel is conveniently located few yards from Parliament and any attraction can be reached walking. All harbour facing rooms already booked got a room with terrace and kitchenette facing the quiet Quebec street. Very good Bedroom with comfortable sofa, big TV screen, dvd player, cable TV, so well set for Tv addicted..not my case :) Very comfy bed, soft pillows finally let my sleep come back to the baby one :) Bathroom a bit small, nevertheless furnished with all comfort you might expect from BW plus. Breakfast: quite nice idea to change every morning the hot meals, with the "choice of the day" hand written on a board! Eggs transformed in Frittata, or other specialties, avoiding the boring scrambled eggs. Well done to the management for having this idea! Flawless WiFi. Hotel hasn't restaurant facilities, yet you are a stone throw from any restaurant outside. Another good idea is the "coffee spot" in the lounge. had to kill a couple of hours before my departure back to Vancouver, fresh brewed coffee always available. Highly recommended for business or families.

this was our first stay at this hotel, but it won't be our last. Lovely hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was nicely decorated, clean and contained a kitchenette. The complimentary breakfast was a nice perk and was very popular with all of the guests. The hotel's location on the inner harbor was awesome.

My wife & I stayed here for a night this past week, front desk people very professional & accommodating. Location is great, just west of the parliament buildings & the inner harbour with the must see museum close by as well. The room was well appointed with comfy beds.. We could even see a docked cruise ship.from our balcony.The breakfast was very good with a great variety & the staff were very efficent & very friendly. When coming to Victoria again, it would be a great place to stay.

Great location, walking distance to main part of Victoria, bar and restaurants. Good size room with kitchenette if required. Breakfast included in price which had a good variety of dishes, main hot dishes charged each day. Parking available for a small cost that is defiantly required due to area.

Fantastic hotel , very clean , nice size rooms , excellent friendly staff. Well located , very short walk to the harbour. Beautiful part of canada to visit , loads to do around the city. For all wheelchair users , a very easy hotel to navigate around ( wife in wheelchair)

We just came back from a five day visit to this hotel.It was a nice stay.The room had two queen beds and a small kitchenette unit.The room was lacking Air conditioning.It was not to hot when we were there.The staff were very helpful .The breakfast was good as it had something different each morning .We enjoyed this location because we could walk to where we wanted to go in the inner harbor.I would stay there again.

This location is only a short walk from the Coho Ferry Dock. It's not on the Main Street but since it is only a block off it it, not any problem. Everyplace is walkable ( except the gardens). Harbor House Restaurant next to Hotel was excellent.

A friend & I stayed for a week at this lovely location. Our room was located on the fifth floor overlooking a park and glimpses of the harbor, amongst the beautiful tall trees. The hotel was very clean, the staff extremely friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. All requests were met. Enjoyed all day coffee in the reception area.

Booked with Air Miles Points. Not disappointed. Phoned to upgrade. For a small price we got a partial marina view on the 6th floor with balcony. Room attendants all wore smart black and white uniforms. Room very spacious with king bed. Free breakfast! Great selection with fresh fruit. Very clean and modern. Quite pleased with our stay and will definitely be back!

Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Fishermans Wharf an easy walk away. Hotel clean and comfortable. Superb staff at all levels.Wellserviced with shuttle service to airport.Close to major local attractions. We have stayed here last three years and have no need to rent a car. Great to be near the water and the action it generates. Water taxis are an added treat.Plenty of buskers to add color and flavor. The flower arrangents everywhere are unrivaled.

Everything about our stay was perfect! Steps from the Victoria Clipper and a very nice room. I would definitely return here next time I go to Victoria. The only downside is the "full" breakfast. It is cold, rubbery glop. Go next door to Belleville's and have some really good food!

Based on other reviews I booked the Best Western Hotel for three nights. From the time we arrived we felt very welcome and the staff on the front desk were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and well presented. The breakfast was great and there was a good choice of food to select from. I We were on the 4th floor and you could see all the boats coming and going and the sea planes. If you like swimming there is a pool but it is small. It is very easy to walk everywhere from this location and you can be in the center of the shopping area in a 5 minute walk.

Very clean hotel, rooms were nice and spacious with a cute small kitchen and a good size balcony. The staff was very friendly. Located in inner harbour close to everything. I would definitely stay again.

We really liked this hotel. The room was a good size for 4 of us (2 adults and kids aged 6 & 8). There was a handy kitchenette with a hob, microwave, kettle and fridge - and a small table and chairs. There was also a small balcony - we were street facing but there was no noise and the balcony faced the sun so it was a nice addition. The room was clean and well decorated. The pool is small and shaded for much of the day, but the weather was warm and it was perfect for young kids. Breakfast was self serve and there was a good choice of food - I'm sure everyone could find something to suit them. It gets quite busy but we were there early each morning so it wasn't an issue. Location wise it was excellent, very close to downtown and the harbourside paths. It's also not far to walk to the coastal path to the south. There was a small surcharge for parking but it's well worth it for the convenience. I can't really comment on value for money overall as we redeemed Aeroplan points to stay here. Finally, all the members of staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly. We'd happily return here.

Our stay at the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour was outstanding. The front desk staff was very cordial and quite professional and managed our check-in quickly and efficiently. The room with kitchenette overlooked the harbour with an excellent view. The hotel location was superb for access to the inner harbour and downtown areas and just a short walk from several attractions.

Friendly staff, clean, awesome room with little kitchen, wrap around balcony, view of park and harbour, walking distance to everything, free buffet breakfast. Staff member recommended place to order in pizza; best pizza ever! Arrived at our room piping hot! We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed.

Family of 4 stay here in August 2018 for a wedding. When we arrived we didn't need to rent a car as everything is within walking distance. The view from the 7th floor was amazing as we were overlooking the harbour. Yes it's true this hotel does not have A/C but we left the balcony doors open for a cool nights breeze. Will definitely return back in the future. Bonus loved the morning breakfast which was included.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in a harbour view suite with a nice and functional kitchenette. This is one of the higher end bw hotels located within walking distance to most main attractions. We could see and hear the ferries as they arrived. As the night was fallen, the lights gradually lit up, casting gleaming reflections on the ocean.I had a great time practicing my low light photography skils right on our balcony. There is no ac though, so we needed to leave the windows open at night for the ocean breeze. It would have been nicer without the partying noise coming from the streets below.

This was a long trip up into Canada and on our return we had no need to overnight in Victoria but, having stayed at this Best Western on a prior trip, we did. We love this hotel, it is clean, comfortable, and very roomy. The staff is pleasant, and knowledgeable about the area. This trip we had to drive and the distance from the Port Angeles to Victoria ferry is about a block! We were returning on the 10:30 am ferry and were able (in less than 5 minutes) to park in the line that morning, then walk back to the hotel for breakfast, check out , and stroll the harbor one more time before heading to the car!

Great place to stay. We prefer it here than other hotels in the area. Close to everything. Parliament Buildings, Imax,inner harbour. Great for walking the Victoria town area and fisherman's wharf. Nice staff and very clean.

Our last stay on the island. Great location for the ferry. Close to restaurants . Helpful and friendly staff. Parking available. Rooms were comfortable enough. Breakfast was good enough. Nice balcony to sit on.

We were a team of 22 and the hotel went out of their way to make each and every guest in our group the most comfortable we could be. All the staff were incredibly kind and courteous. Our rooms were very comfortable, clean and easily accessable.

Stayed here in early August at the peak tourist season.Rooms adequate. No air conditioning but the balconies in each end of the rooms provided cool ocean air. Front desk so helpful and the complimentary breakfast changed each day so the variety was appreciated. Will stay again.

Two nights here, on our first visit to Victoria BC. Happy all around! We decided not to rent a car on any leg of our trip (including Seattle) and while we put in a lot of miles on our feet, that's OK! It worked off the food and cocktails! Haha - we ate and drank our way through the PNW. First experience here was with Rachel when we arrived straight off the ferry from Seattle - very close walk to the Clipper pier! She was super-friendly and helpful, and stored our bags for us as we decided to walk around and sightsee until our room was ready. She was also a friendly face very welcome after the LONNNGGGG exit from the ferry. Also super-helpful was Nikita - she, during the course of our two-night stay at this hotel, was ready, knowledgeable and great about assisting with suggestions for things to do, places to eat, and transportation. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Convenient location for sure. While it's true there is no AC, they are kind enough to provide several fans in the room, to circulate the air. We slept with the patio door open (very little noise) and the fans going, and while usually would prefer it cooler, slept just fine. Left with positive thoughts of the place.

Overall decent experience but we will not stay here again. NO AC, which should be highlighted somewhere for those with medical conditions. Street noise was too much to keep patio door open. Room was clean and well appointed but darkly decorates and all the lighting was blaring so there was no middle ground. Most of the hotel staff not friendly/helpful, Lee was the exception. We arrived at 9am and were told we would receive a call when our room was ready but did not. We asked a question and were told they would have the answer for us and never did. We booked transportation through the front desk to the airport and they booked it a day early so we almost had an issue. Luckily, the tranport shuttle we flagged down had room and was willing to adjust our reservation. Not the pleasant anniversary experience we were hoping for as a couple getting away for the first time in 8 years!

Short walk to inner harbor. One hour free parking on the street in front of the hotel. Secured underground parking with key card access. We got an upgrade to the harbor side room. It is on the 3rd floor so cannot see much of the harbor due to trees in front of the room. Room size is relatively small but has everything you will need. A small kitchen with refrigerator, stove and oven attached to the room. Breakfast is ample with hot food. Overall, it is a pleasant stay

We recently stated at this hotel as a family of 3. The first night we stayed in a 2 Queen room and we had plenty of space. The beds and pillows were comfy and the amenities were great. The following night we switched to a 1 bedroom premium suite. There was tons of space in this unit. Unfortunately we were only in the second floor so there wasn't a view but the patio had lots of outdoor furniture for a nice relaxing location at the end of the day. We were able to walk to the harbour from the hotel which includes the BC Royal Mueseum, Parliment Building, Whale Tour, etc. Parking was $12 and underground which was nice. We have a truck with 32 inch tires and were able to park in there no problem. This was nice to save on time as parking downtown is at a premium and there is no all day parking options right in the core of it all. The staff were very knowledgeable and provided some great suggestions for places to eat. The breakfast had hot and cold items included which was really nice. We will be back again but will be requesting a room with a view of the harbour next time!!

We recently had the opportunity to make a quick visit to Victoria. We had stayed at the Best Western previously, and decided to do so again. From the time of check in to our check out, this hotel is definitely First Cass. All of the staff that we met at the front desk, food services, and housekeeping were outgoing, efficient, and cheery personalities. They are very caring, and make an effort to make sure that you are comfortable. Our extremely spacious room complete with a kitchenette and balcony was a dream. It was spotless, quiet,and comfortable. There were so many added amenities, we couldn't think of anything more that was needed. We were totally impressed by the full service breakfast the next morning. It satisfies all appetites. We wish that we could have stayed for a week, and next time we will make sure that our visit is longer. We ABSOLUTELY would recommend this hotel at any time.

We were welcomed by a super friendly staff member at the reception. So of to a great start. The room itself was spacious and clean albeit a bit outdated. Also no AC in the room. We opened the window to get the breeze in but at five in the morning traffic starts to pick up and so do the noise levels. Ask for a room on the harbor side maybe that helps with the noise. Breakfast wasn't such a great experience. A very small breakfast room for such a big hotel so no space to sit. The food was ok-ish but stuffed in a small area because of the lack of space. A lot of people in a small space with the sun shining in creates a lot of heat and no AC to counter it. Apple and orange juice tasted more like water and the rest was mediocre at best. Special mention for the fruit salad which was very good. The best thing about the hotel is the location and the friendly staff but in my opinion not worth the price we paid.

WE have been there many times and they have never let us down. The room is nice, bed is comfortable, and depending which room you're in the view can be quite amazing. The room has all the amenities, is clean, and is quite comfortable. The hotel in a good location and within walking distance of most things you might want to do. On our last visit they provided us with blankets to sit on to save our clothes from getting dirty, while sitting on the grass watching the fireworks at the Butchart Gardens. We were very impressed with that. The front desk staff are always pleasant and easy to deal with and seem to have an excellent knowledge of the city and events. The breakfast is very good and has a fair selection from toast or muffins or a complete breakfast. Love the coffee. One last thing. Free wifi. This is and will be our hotel of choice when we are Victoria.

Great stay at this property, right from check in to check out. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, staff was top notch! Breakfast room had alot of choices with very tasty food and the hotel is within easy walking distance to the harbour

this is a very good location for exploring Victoria The room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable the breakfast was adequate and the coffee was good Parking is free if you are from BC which is a plus we are going back there over Xmas

Another place where we got another warm Vancouver Island welcome (they really are nice people over there!). Check in was a pleasure and the staff helped up locate everywhere we needed to know on a map, we got the best recommendation for dinner too! The room was large and airy, a balcony and even a small kitchen! Interestingly no air con and in the hot weather that was a slight problem. Breakfast was included in a self service breakfast room and was of a good standard with something for all tastes. Fabulous location, it was a shame to leave here.

We had a fantastic deluxe room, with King size bed which was very roomy and comfortable. Location was very good too, one street back from main street, and you could cut thru the Day's Inn Hotel next door or else a short walk to the centre of town and the harbour. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Easy distance to catch the hop-on-hop-off bus, of local bus to Butchart Gardens. We were able to walk from the coach that picked us up at the BC Ferry terminal, to our hotel, with our suitcases in tow. Hotel staff could not do enough for us. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Victoria or Vancouver Island. Thanks Helen & Richard Love

I have been staying while on business for the past 13 years. I have always received excellent, professional and courteous service. Staff are very knowledgeable of surrounding area and always able to recommend places to eat, places visit and things to do.

This hotel is a block away from the ferry and within walking distance of all of the tourist destinations. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. There isn't any air conditioning in the rooms but honestly you don't need it. The double room we stayed in had a nice kitchen area with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. I would most definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to others! The breakfast was pretty much the norma with some hot and some cold food.

We stayed in a king-sized room with a kitchen, suitable for 4 of us. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to the Provincial Capital, the fantastic BC Royal Museum and the waterfront and shopping. The free breakfast room was crowded but offered a variety of choices. Includes pool, sauna, hot tub, exercise room.

This well maintained hotel is located near The B.C. Parliament building. Also a sort walk to many museums, shopping and good places to eat. The ferry from Port Angeles, WA is only one street away. The room was like new, and daily service was good. There is a pool, hot spa, steam room, sauna, and workout facilities. Daily breakfast was quite good even though it was self serve. Baked good were fresh and the egg offering changed daily. It is also located near good dining places like Belleville's.

We often visit Victoria with our family and when we do we always come and stay here. The cleaniness of the hotel and the friendly staff is what keeps us coming back. The rooms are nicely furnished and very clean. The full kitchen was also an added bonus. The free breakfast was great with a good selection of items as well. The location is fantastic and within walking distance of everything. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Great one bedroom suite with kitchen and amenities to go along with it. Good breakfast and friendly helpful service. The location is very convent to the harbour and local restaurants within easy walking distance, close to the museum and parliament buildings and inner harbour causeway.

This hotel is old and it is showing. It's time to completely gut the place and redo everything if they want to continue charging these prices, even based on the location. The view rooms have decent views (we had the very best one in the property), but not great as the trees are growing up behind the hotel, so paying extra for that isn't necessarily worth it. The biggest problem is that they didn't mention (or at least I didn't see it, so they didn't make it clear) that there isn't air conditioning in the rooms. It is expected to have air conditioning at hotels now, and when it isn't available it should be clearly pointed out when booking. Even though Victoria is a cooler climate, it still gets warm and any larger building gets warm even when it is cold out. We had to leave the doors open, which caused allergy problems, but more importantly we had to listen to all the noises from the street - and Victoria isn't a quiet city. I usually enjoy listening to the noises outside, but the drunk people walking around pushed it over the edge to being unable to sleep. Well, that, and the uncomfortable bed. Internet is nearly useless, the breakfast is bad, but the shower is fairly decent (aside from the touchiness of the temperature). Overall, it would be better to stay another block or two away than pay these prices for this sad hotel.

This hotel was very clean, and the staff was wonderful. I had trouble with my computer and the front desk staff set it all up for me. The back garden is small but lovely and the breakfast is wonderful. Our room was good and very comfortable.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel which is within walking distance of the inner harbour and most downtown locations of interest. The suite was large, clean, and comfortable, and included a stove, microwave, and large fridge. The breakfast area was well laid out. Desk staff helped us with our boarding pass check-in. We plan on going back.

I chose this hotel as it was close to ferry to Port Angeles, WA but it is also within walking of the Empress Hotel and downtown Victoria. Hotel room was well aid out and even had a small kitchen and table for two. Pleasant staff and nice continental breakfast. Underground parking is available for a fee.

Great hotel with friendly staff. Excellent location and we had a view of the harbour off our balcony. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Loved that it was a short walk to the harbour and we could walk around to do some sightseeing. Kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast had a great assortment of eggs,sausages,pancakes,toast,bagels,pastries,yogurt etc. Would stay here again for sure. Only negative was the price of the room.

The room was spacious, comfortable, clean. We used and enjoyed the kitchen, the balcony. We chose the Inner Harbour because our visit to Victoria was a walking visit and it was extremely convenient for our excursions. Staff were excellent helping us with our questions and needs. A good, hot breakfast started each day. Will stay again if in Victoria.

Excellent location in Victoria Inner Harbour for pedestrian access to main sights and surprisingly easy to drive directly to from the B.C. Ferry. Very low key atmosphere. Our room was very clean, with a small kitchen, lots of extra pillows which I appreciate! Complimentary breakfast had a simple variety of choices and was fresh and tables kept clean. A very nice place to stay and I'd return in a heartbeat.

We only got to spend one night at the BW Inner Harbour in Victoria. Wish it could have been a week. This is a great hotel and in a great location. Easy walking to the Harbour, Museum, restaurants etc. We had a room over looking the garden and it was like coming back, after a day of sightseeing, to your own personal oasis. Morning coffee on the balcony, listening to the birds etc. The buffet breakfast was very good. The staff so professional and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and it will definitely be our go to place to stay in Victoria.

Very nice room with a kitchen. Our room overlooked the park and back garden of the hotel. Nice to sit on the balcony and relax. Very nice breakfast buffet. Would stay at this hotel again next time we are in Victoria.

This was our second stay in this hotel and just our last time, we loved it! We got nice large studio w/ full kitchen, breakfast area, sitting area and 2 balconies on 7th floor. Front desk person apologized that she was not able to upgrade us to a view room as we were BW Platinum members. However, we had pretty decent partial view of a harbor from one of our balconies. Room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Their breakfast was good– eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, more. They had pretty good internet connection. They are very close to the ferry. Their underground parking was 9CAD per night but we had to pay only for the first night since for the second night we parked our car at the ferry parking to make sure that we get on it. We definitely would stay there again.

Just returned from our 5th stay (Jun 2-5) for my milestone birthday. I have seriously never had a bad stay here! The front desk staff is always amazing and friendly, I wish I took names, but they are all awesome. We've stayed in 'park view' 3rd floor, all the way to 'Harbour view' 7th floor corner (this time!). Next time - the penthouse! :) A short walk to the the harbour, the wharf, everything you need! And with secure, underground parking - you can forget the car until you leave! If you are taking the Black Ball ferry as a walk on - just cross the street. The complimentary breakfasts are great and plentiful - and changes every morning. We grabbed a tray and took it back up to our balcony to dine al fresco. We live just an Anacortes ferry ride away and we'll never stay anywhere else.

We spent 3 nights and we were really happy with the accommodation and location of the property and would definitely choose to stay again. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast included in the tariff was a full breakfast and was delicious.

We stayed at The Best Western Inner Harbor in Victoria for 7 nights in mid-May so we could tour Victoria and Vancouver Island. If you're looking for a hotel in the Inner Harbor area, please consider staying here. Our room, on the sixth floor, faced the residential side of the building. It was very clean & spacious with a king-sized bed and a large spotless bathroom. We also had a small kitchenette with a refrigerator and a cabinet wall safe. The staff was great; very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. A hot buffet breakfast was included with many excellent selections. The underground gated parking lot was large and could accommodate many cars. We enjoyed our stay, the price was reasonable and we would definitely stay at this Best Western again if we're in or near the area.

We stayed here for over a week and were very happy. Great location, wonderful breakfast, and super friendly staff. Huge room with a beautiful kitchen. Clean and comfy. The staff seemed to really enjoy working there and always had a smile. Great pool and beautiful gardens. I would stay here again.

I have stayed here several times and always find it very comfortable with friendly, caring staff. The room is comfortable and spotless. The kitchenette comes in handy. The location is outstanding, close to most tourist attractions and activities.

Thanks to the suggestion of friends who frequently visit Victoria, we chose the Best Western Inner Harbor. It was exactly what we needed! A convenient location, most comfortable room (the bed was exceptionally comfortable!), and what a surprise to find a small kitchen available. The location was convenient for walking around the harbor and sight-seeing. Breakfast provided a good start to our day. We'll continue to recommend this location to others and hope to return soon ourselves.

Our room was very comfortable, spacious, even had a kitchen nook, and, a balcony overlooking a park area, beautiful! It was very clean. The location was excellent, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Had no reason to rent a vehicle. This hotel offered a free full breakfast each morning with a variety of choices, hot & cold. Although we didn't use the pool, we did make use of the whirlpool each day.

We live on Vancouver Island and stay in Victoria often, so we know where to stay to have access to the best of everything plus have quiet and good value and this Best Western has it all. Chose 7th floor for best views of harbour. Friendly efficient employees, great included breakfast, kitchens and balconies for those quiet nights in.

We spent a total of 19 nights at this hotel. It is an older property but well maintained and staffed. The location is very convenient to the inner harbour and downtown so it's a good choice for tourists. (They also offer long stay rates.) There is a complimentary breakfast and a coin laundry room (only 2 washers and 2 dryers but they are good machines). There are various stores and services within walking distance (grocery, liquor, pharmacy, coffee shops, restaurants, etc.) Front desk staff were helpful (special thanks to April) and housekeeping staff were great. If you don't want or need a fancy hotel, this is a very good place to stay. Upper rooms on the harbour side have nice views but it can be noisy because of an adjacent outside bar, float planes and boat traffic. The opposite side of the building may be a bit quieter although there is quite a bit of traffic from tourists (buses, horse drawn carriages, etc.) There is secure underground parking, a fitness room and pool. WiFi was reasonably good.

Best Western Downtown Victoria BC offers a quality stay within walking distance to all the Highlights of the Downtown area, the Hotel has nice well maintained facilities, like heated outdoor pool, Gym and Sauna, the underground parking is for additional fee, super nice and friendly helpful staff, the breakfast included offers hot dishes as well as the regular breakfast items...just perfect

Very good location to walk to the inner harbor and free parking is the best I can say. Room was a suite and very cramped, good view from patio but it was so dirty we didn't use it. Pool was outdoors and cold for my taste, whirlpool was nice but changing room was tight. Suite did have a full stove, pots & pans, fridge and service. Breakfast was about what you would expect for free. Online photos made it appear far bigger than it was, ok for the price & location.

From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted with friendly helpful staff, The room was clean and very comfortable, the view from the balcony was nice . Our stay in Victoria was made nicer by the people at the Best Western.

Easy walking distance to inner harbor, Parliament Buildings and Empress Hotel. Various eating establishments in this area also. The hotel front desk staff were extremely friendly and offered their assistance. The morning breakfast staff were friendly, replenished the food items prior to being empty. The rooms were refreshed every day and were left in clean order.

We stayed 3 days and was very appreciative that we could check in early, it's an easy walk from Clipper Service and walkable to Downtown, Parliament and Fishermans Wharf. Very comfortable king size bed and large room with lounge area. We had a small kitchenette which had a full size stove, so you can eat in if required, there is a good supermarket a few blocks away on Michigan. Was very quiet and we could sleep with the windows opened. Good selection at breakfast, nice granola, fruit and hot items that change each day. The breakfast room does get v crowded and the hotel advises you the quieter times

Had a terrible stay at a location next door and when I called to see if these guys could accommodate us; they were amazing. All I wanted was a king size bed.. for the same price as the previous disaster hotel we are in; we were given a king suite.. kitchenette and all. Beautiful king comfy bed; carpeted Floors, clean bathrooms and a beautiful two balconies off the room. Breakfast included the next day! Pool was quaint but temp was good. Saved the whole weekend for us on our last night!! Will defiantly be staying here again!!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Very Clean, bedding was comfortable, no backache, Loved the pillows. Great location, right by the harbour, easy walking to fisherman's wharf and the breakwater, tourist info & tours also within walking distance. Rarely used our car. Nice running trails toward the breakwater. Kitchen is small, but had everything we needed. Nice balcony, ours looked over the pool and a pretty little park. You could hear the ferry horn about once a day, but quite quiet otherwise (& not during sleeping hours anyway). There is some construction (on the street) going on, but wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast was the standard, but fresh & tasted good. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We were greeted by very friendly staff at the front desk. They were very competent and everything was done fast. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast. It was the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel.

We stay here every year for 3 nights as we get together with friends from out of town.we used to stay at the Empress but are very happy at the Best Western. Love the balcony and table and chairs.Equipped kitchen, flat screen TV and $12. Secured parking. Great breakfast room and friendly staff. Walking distance to everything! No AC but fan provided.

April is a great time to have a holiday in Victoria B C. and the Best Western Inner Harbour I right in the middle of everything down town. The trees are all in full bloom and it is really a beautiful time of year.The hotel and staff were first class and the area is very quiet so we always get a good night's sleep. We used this hotel as our base for touring around Victoria for 3 days. Our end unit 501 was a spacious room with a full kitchen. The view from the room was the inner harbour and local road construction was quite noisy but will be gone soon. No air conditioning so if it is warm and you open the window expect noise. The included breakfast room had different egg and meat offerings daily. Very good. Parking underground at 12 was a bargain. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Enoress and downtown. Good choice

Room was very clean, beds comfy, kitchen was well stocked, incl. wine glasses. Within walking distance to restaurants and pubs, no need to take the car. Secure underground parking a bonus. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good with lots of options. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Building excellent. Breakfast generous. Staff went above and beyond in helping me with relative in a wheelchair. We forgot a tablet in the room and they contacted us before we realized it was missing to say it had been found by housekeeping and arranged to return it to us! This was my second stay at this hotel and wow, they have done the beautiful renovations. Honestly, I didn't expect this from BW. Clean spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows and the staff were very friendly especially the girl in the breakfast room was very helpful. I have no doubt that I will go back here for my next stay in Victoria!

The location was great in the Inner Harbour close to lots of good food places. Easy walk from the hotel. The staff was so great & friendly. The room was nice but bathroom a little tight(small). It was definitely much more affordable than some of the hotels nearby.

I spent 8 days in Victoria and the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour was the perfect place to stay. It's in a good location with easy access to downtown and the harbor area. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, with tips on places to see and eat. Every morning you can start with a free breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, pancakes, cereals, rolls, fruit, yogurt, donuts, coffee, tea, and juice) to fortify yourself for the day's activities as Victoria is a very walkable city and you want to be out and about. The rooms were nice (with a kitchenette) and the housekeeping staff does a great job keeping things clean.

The hotel is located very close to the Inner Harbour, and within walking distance to most things. The staff was super friendly and always had a smile. I loved the breakfast and all of the options available. Our room was clean, nicely decorated and we loved having the little balcony & kitchenette! I will definitely be staying here when I come back to Victoria!!

Loved everything about this hotel. Location was amazing for a great price. The beds and pillows were better than I've had in much more expensive hotels. Breakfast and customer service was good as well.

Everything was great about our stay except the bed. It was caving in towards the middle. My husband and I kept rolling into the middle all night. The bed needs to be replaced. Otherwise the hotel is great, it's clean and comfortable. The breakfast included had a good variety, cereals, toast, bagels, yogurt, coffee and tea. The location is excellent, you can easily walk to downtown and it's right on the inner harbour and near the parliament buildings.

From check-in to check-out everything was perfect. Clean comfortable room(including the beds) great breakfast. Staff are all very pleasant. The hotel is located in a great area-lots of sights within walking distance. Would recommend this hotel when travelling to Victoria.

Stayed here with my son for 3 nights while visiting family. It was truly a wonderful hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was soclean snd contained a litchen which was ideal. The rooms are upgraded and everything is great. The cleaning staff made sure we had all we needed and were so friendly. The breakfast club that had a woman who was delightful. She always greeted us enthusiatically and was very cheerful. The food was stocked up well and there were many different things to eat. The hotel is located close to attractions and the inner harbour. It is also close to the buses. All staff were super friendly. I will stay there again and am looking forward to returning Allison

A two block walk from the Coho Ferry, three blocks to the Empress and downtown Victoria! A quiet and clean hotel with up to date, remodeled rooms. Complimentary breakfast is a plus. Great place to stay, and affordable.

The staff is very pleasant and well informed about the area. The breakfast room has an exceptional variety of food and the staff is very friendly. The buffet breakfast has different hot food everyday along with choices of waffles, pancakes, cereal,yogurtt etc.

Very nice hotel within walking distance to downtown and other interesting points. The breakfast was amazing lots to choose from and the lady attending the breakfast kept it stocked up all the time. The cleanliness of this hotel was exemplary the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to my friends .

Best Western Plus Inner Harbour is the best place to stay in the area if you want to enjoy downtown Victoria experience day and night with or without family. great location near the parliament house and several key Victoria's attractions for family and solo.

This is our second stay at the BWPIH, our first was three years ago in March - each occasion for a two-week duration. We had originally chosen the BEPIH because it is a smoke-free pet-free hotel, includes breakfast, and because it has king-size beds with pillow-top mattresses. Additional “pluses” include availability of reduced rates for extended stays in some winter months, gated underground parking, small kitchenette, great location (walking distance to the Parliament buildings, Royal B.C. Museum, Robert Bateman Gallery, fisherman‘s wharf, and many other downtown Victoria attractions), and a beautiful view overlooking the Inner Harbour with its constant activity of ferries, boats, float planes and water taxis. But the staff and management set this hotel apart from others. Yes, they are friendly and helpful, and yes, the hotel is well kept with high standards of cleanliness and organization. But their attention to detail and responsiveness are truly exemplary. Two examples will illustrate. We arrived late afternoon, checked in, and our room on the seventh floor was fine. When we went to bed, however, we thought that maybe the pillow-top mattress was getting a bit tired and saggy, but maybe we were just tired after a long day of traveling. But upon reflection in the morning we decided to raise it with the front desk after breakfast. Rather than the typical response that they would see if another room might be available later in the day, etc., our concern was graciously accepted and that maintenance would come and check in an hour or so. They arrived just before 10 am - with a brand new mattress in tow - which was in place within ten minutes and they were gone! The second example relates to a sluggishly draining toilet, which often requires several calls to get a response, and sometimes not until it overflows. The third or fourth day in, I thought that the toilet was draining poorly, so I made a mental note to mention it at the front desk. But I forgot and we went out for the morning. When we got back after lunch, maintenance was there with a “clean out snake” doing the needful. Apparently, the cleaning person noticed the slow-draining fixture and arranged to have it tended to before the problem got worse. We have travelled a lot, and have never seen such prompt service. Since our last visit three years ago, we noticed a number of improvements/upgrades to the facility which again indicates an attentiveness to providing guests with top-quality service!!

First time I have been upgraded to the top floor with a harbor view and I loved it.If you enjoy views as a part of your vacation experience as I do this is a good choice to watch the coming and goings of the inner harbor. We have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions. Great location,great rooms and great views. Coming back in April and wondering about coffee makers in the room. Do they use pods now? When we have stayed here, we have been able to walk almost everywhere. Great place to stay. Highly recommend

BW Inner Harbour is within walking distance to Victoria Inner Harbour, the BC Legislature, Douglas Street, Government Street where all the shops and restaurants are located. The room is spacious, everything works well in the room, and it is very quiet, and my wife and I slept well. The hot breakfast was adequate. The only one thing I don't like is the $12 parking charge per night. To me, the parking charge has decreased the value of the staying at BW Inner Harbour. If you have no problem paying the $12 per night parking charge, BW Inner Harbour is a good hotel to stay in Victoria.

Best Western Plus Inner Harbour Victoria is like home away from home. Great staff, comfy beds in nice sized room with balcony harbour view and separate kitchenette. Popcorn & movies for the kids in the evening, breakfast room with a good selection in the morning. Hotel staff are friendly, welcoming and are helpful with information about area attractions. Great location at a walking distance from parliament buildings and inner harbour. Found ample parking near by. The breakfast is included-such a time saver on busy mornings. Staff attentive to the customers needs. Large room and office space area.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Room was nice. Bed was comfortable. Didn't need kitchenette but it would be nice to have if we were there longer. Exercise room was small but adequate and had a set of free weights that I liked. Whole place was very clean and in excellent condition. Nicely decorated.

We planned a quick visit to Victoria and called our favourite hotel for a reservation. The booking was easy and staff are always helpful and efficient. We love the convenient location and are grateful for the free parking afforded to guests who live on the Island. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed as was the bathroom. Plenty of towels, a good over the bath shower with adjustable head, lots of hot water and basic toiletries. The breakfast, which is included in the room price, offers plenty of choice - with granola, fruit, cereal, bagels, scones, toast, waffles, muffins, yogurt and more. A variety of bread is always offered. Cooked items (Eggs, sausage, bacon etc) are kept warm, and are replenished regularly. We always check this hotel first as it suits our comfort, cleanliness and budget.

A very good deal for travel to Victoria - excellent location - clean - good service and reasonable rates. The addition of free parking and free breakfast makes this an attractive hotel for those on fixed retirement incomes wanting to stay in a popular tourist city.

Such a wonderful location to access the inner harbour of Victoria, this Best Western has the absolute best breakfast of any Best Western we've been at. The variety of egg dishes and the lovely selection of baked items is sure to please the most picky of eaters. Scones every morning for breakfast in Victoria - perfect! The rooms are spacious with kitchenettes. The staff are all very cheerful and eager to make your stay very memorable with great ideas of restaurants and things to do to keep you entertained. We took at peek at the Penthouse Suite and it is phenomenal! It can be booked for longer stays. Perhaps someday we'll do just that!

Everyone was very friendly, informative and helpful. LOVED the little kitchen in the room. Was only there one night, but would go back for its proximity to the museum, downtown, etc. I didn't have the time to check out the spa or restaurant, so I can't rate those, but the room was great.

Our overall experience with this hotel was excellent. The staff was attentive at the front desk and in the breakfast room. The room was spacious with two arm chairs so we could both sit and enjoy a coffee. Better yet there were two luggage stands which made it very convenient. Most hotels have only one and so one person has to put their suitcase on the floor. This room had a kitchenette although we only used the fridge. The breakfast was both hot and cold options and on day 2 the hot options were different from day 1, so there was some variety. A nice touch! This hotel is a 5-minute walk from all the main tourist attractions at the inner harbour. The price for the room and 1/2 price parking ($6) made this a stay well worth the cost.

We were only there for one night, but wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely, comfortable room w/ a kitchenette. You cannot beat the location being so close to the inner harbour. Secured underground parking is a plus. It is a very clean hotel. The breakfast room is bright and clean w/ a nice selection of food items and staff are available if you need assistance. Highly recommend.

I really want to give it 5* except that the front desk stuff was not all that friendly. She did check us in quickly, we got upgraded for free into a beautiful room with kitchenette facing the harbor... What an amazing view! I felt sorry that we were only there for one night. Enjoyed the hot tub, and the breakfast was great. Location is walking distance to everything: bus station, ferries, sightseeing. I loved Victoria and would love to come back and I would pick up this hotel for our return trip. My only unexplained comment is that I am a BW loyalty member, so I asked the front end girl to add my stay to my membership account as I had not done it myself. I did not have an account with me, and she refused to look me up and she said she would do it later. So to save her time, I looked up my account number myself and brought it to her downstairs upon my checkout. She took it but did not enter it in (there was no line, so she was not really busy). She said again she would do it later, but never did. I do not have a printed bill from the place, so I cannot do it myself. I don't understand why she would not do such a small favor done to me in other hotels, or if she did not know how to do it (she looked very young and probably not experienced), at least she should have said honestly that and call for a manager or someone else to help.

We had a king sized suite with a kitchenette. The hotel and room were both clean, pleasantly appointed, and comfortable. We had two balconies (not facing the harbour) and a corner unit. The breakfast was very decent for a continental - waffles, pancakes, potatoes, eggs, sausage, and the usual cereals, fruit, yogurt. Overall we were very satisfied with the stay!

Excellent location. Spacious room overlooking the inner harbour & park, comfortable bed. Staff is happy, friendly, professional & helpful. A great stay, as always, but made extra special by having our 35th wedding anniversary acknowledged on arrival & with a card & chocolate in our room.

It was our first visit to Victoria in over 20 years so we wanted a hotel close to the waterfront that didn't cost an arm and a leg. We chose the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour based upon price, location and TA ratings. We're very pleased with the choice. Check-in was a breeze and in no time we were in our well-appointed two-queen room. The room had all the amenities we could ask for: flat-screen TV, comfortable work desk, dresser, two easy chairs with table, nice bathroom, small but well-equipped kitchenette with cozy nook, zippy wifi and a nice balcony. Not sure how we lucked out but we got a decent view of the harbour even though it was supposed to be a park view. The bed was very comfortable and the room, while not extremely spacious, never made us feel cramped. From the front desk to maintenance to breakfast room and housekeeping, staff were always pleasant and courteous. Complimentary breakfast featured several hot items and was definitely at the top end of the scale. Location was very convenient to downtown attractions like the harbour, the Empress Hotel, the BC Legislature and ferries. Senior/AARP rates were quite reasonable for what we were getting, only $130/night plus tax, and secure parking at $12/day was well-priced too. Granted is was December and the low season, but we still felt that value was excellent. We'd definitely stay here again and have already booked our next trip this spring. No hesitation giving this hotel 5 stars out of 5.

We enjoy this hotel. The staff is amazing, friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a terrific location, easy walk into town, or the other direction on a beautiful walking path along the harbor. We appreciate the nice variety in the breakfast as well. We came here for our anniversary, and liked it so much we brought our whole family back for New Years! And.....We have already booked for next year. ??

I stayed here in early December with my husband for 2 nights. We caught the BC Ferry Connector from Vancouver airport, and the final stop of the bus in Victoria was an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel. I had prepaid for the stay, and check in was very easy and the ladies behind the counter were very friendly. I recall them taking a $50 security deposit (purchase authorisation) from our credit card. No big deal. Our room was on the 7th floor, had a 'partial' view of the harbour (full view we thought!) and was very spacious. The bathroom is looking a little tired, but other than that, everything had been thought of. There was a small kitchen, with dining table and chairs, two armchairs plus a work desk and chair. The bed was so amazingly comfy. Out of the all the hotels we stayed at in Canada (4) this bed was the best by far! The rate includes breakfast, and this was perfectly fine. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc, plus the usual cereals, yoghurt, pastries, breads. Husband said coffee wasn't the nicest. We used the underground parking on the second night, and it was good value ($9 or $12 - sorry I can't remember!!).. The hotel is also in a fantastic position - a few minutes walk to the Royal BC Museum, and a 10 minute walk to the centre of the city, including lots of restaurants, shopping etc. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again, and will recommend to friends and family. Thanks to the staff for making our stay really lovely! Congrats to the whole team :)

Staff were extremely helpful. Hotel was very close to the harbour and Parliament buildings. Room was very quiet and a very good breakfast was included. Lobby has some beautiful wood pieces and service was excellent.

This hotel is awesome. Great location near legislature and harbour. Everything within walking distance. Modern large room, king bed, sofa, great little kitchenette and great balcony. All amenities included. Best hot breakfast seen at any hotel, so many choices. Really nice hot tub and saunas. Even though we were not on the harbour side we had views of the BC legislature and Olympic mountains. Highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here twice now and will continue to do so as it is clean and the staff are very friendly / the food served at breakfast was also very good a nice selection for anyone /its location is ideal as its a short walk to all the attractions and you can park for free.

This is an excellent place to stay and very convenient to downtown and ferry docks. Very clean and well maintained. Large room with plenty of working room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice hot tub to soak away to cold at this time of the year. Will stay here again.

We could not have chosen a better hotel to stay at for Christmas . Beautiful hotel with great location ! The room exceeded our expectations , bed was fantastic ! Coffee was the best ever had at a hotel! We will never stay anywhere else from now on.

We are so happy we stayed at this hotel. Even when my kids were a bit loud, the staff there strives to make us feel welcome there. The breakfast were awesome. The room even had a kitchen that included utensils, pots, pans, cups and glasses. That was a very pleasant surprise. The gym was bigger than most other ones I have used. I would definitely recommend it for traveling families!

We typically go to Victoria for my wife's December birthday and stay somewhere near the inner harbour. BW Plus was offering a special package for islanders that offered a good rate, complimentary breakfast and free secure parking so we decided to try BW Plus. It more than met our expectations and was good value for the money. We had a bonus of having our room on the side of the hotel that overlooked the inner harbour.

This hotel provides a great experience for those seeking a clean, comfortable and central location (harbor). It provides great value for the cost and also provides a very well appointed breakfast feature. Staff were great as well. All in all a very nice experience staying at this location.

Friendly staff, great breakfasts, clean spacious rooms, nicely located to allow for walking distance downtown, reasonable rates. Five minutes down from the Parliament buildings and Victoria Harbour front. Ten minute walk to downtown Victoria shops.

We love staying at this property. It is so convenient for all we have to do while in Victoria. The beds are so comfortable that we feel like we are at home. If you like the sun then the south side is where you want your room. If its a harbour view then you will want to be on the north side. One can have a coffee in the little kitchenette or out on the balcony.

Good place to stay if travelling without a pet-- location is great and included parking and breakfast are a bonus. Friendly staff and pleasant decor make the inner hardbour Best Western a lovely place to stay while enjoying the downtown Victoria area.

TThis is our favourite hotel & we compare all others to it. The staff are wonderful. In 2014 my husband & I came over for a long weekend. I stayed for a month as my Husband my taken to hospital extremely ill.The staff could not do enough for me-free parking, flowers in room, constant concern & caring. This is also the best location in Victoria. It's right in the heart of town & yet very quiet. Highest recommendation !!

Our one night stay here was very enjoyable This hotel is in a great location. as others have said you can walk to all you need. The room was very clean with all the amenities you would expect from a BW. Don't know why the others have raved about the breakfast though. It's your run of the mill complimentary chain hotel breakfast. The bed however is another story. Incredibly comfortable!! Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever had in a hotel. One of the front desk staff was good enough to write down the brand for me. When I go shopping for my next mattress it will be the same.

We loved staying here-the location by the Inner Harbour is excellent . The hot breakfast is such a good start to the day and they have Gluten free cereal & GF bread PLUS a dedicated toaster--GREAT for us. We had a small suite with a kitchen--very adequate and with everything necessary to make a quick lunch or dinner. It is near to public transport and has free underground parking--plus a hot tub..really it has everything necessary for a nice break in Victoria--we even had a view across the harbour.

Our stay at the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour was excellent. Its location near the water is a plus and made it very easy to travel throughout the city. Our room was beyond our expectations. The front desk staff members were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a nice variety of food and the breakfast lady was kind and cheerful. The secured/gated parking garage was definitely appreciated. We will return in the future and recommend the Best Western Inner Harbour to our family and friends.

Location is the best as it truly is within walking distance to everything - harbour, trails, museums, cafes, parks, grocery, shopping. Clean rooms, efficient and friendly staff and free breakfast, 24 hour access to coffee plus free newspapers. The kitchenette was appreciated for prepping the occasional light meal. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. I had a great time exploring Victoria and I'll back for sure!

Beds & pillows in hotels can often be hit & miss in their comfort. But both of these were very comfortable to all members of our family. The location was great being within walking distance of many of the sights around the Inner Harbour & downtown. Plus the breakfast buffet had a very good variety of hot and cold items and is an amazing bonus to be included in the price of your room

Great location in the city. Park the car and walk the downtown area with a wide variety of stores and restaraunts. Breakfast is just okay. Fritata was tateless and cold and potatoes undercooked. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

We like the buffet Breakfast with many choices, eggs, meat, yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, breads, English muffins, a pancake maker and waffle maker also. Free parking is also great . My husband and I have just spent a night at this hotel. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. It had had a kitchenette which would be very convenient for longer stays. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods, fair trade coffee and was in a bright room. I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and quiet stay close to the water and downtown Victoria.

My wife and I are retired and live in Campbell River, about 3 1/2 hours North of Victoria. We visit Victoria often and always stay at the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour when possible. This hotel is a great place to stay. Close to the ferry to Port Angeles, Wa. Close to great restaurants, close to the harbour for sightseeing. Staff are always great and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. Highly recommended !!

Fine hotel and excellent value in the heart of Victoria. Parking is a little tight and there is no restaurant, but breakfast is good. It is walkable to the Clipper, museum, car rentals, and many restaurants, etc. Rooms are clean and comfy, the staff is excellent and very helpful.

The hotel was right downtown with view of Harbour and park. Also 1/2 block Parliament Buildings and Royal Museum and other famous downtown sites. The staff was extremely helpful and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Breakfast included which was also great.

This hotel is very nicely situated just a short walk the the main attractions of the downtown, yet is just off of downtown enough to take it away from the bustle. Breakfast is great, and all of the staff we met were very friendly and professional with a good knowledge of the area. They made us feel welcome.

Our room was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchenette well supplied, and the view lovely. This room would be very suitable for a comfortable long-term stay. The breakfast available was of good quality. This will certainly be our hotel of choice for future visits to Victoria.

As a first time client to this establishment, I was pleasantly surprised. The check-in and check out staff were friendly knowledgeable and efficient. Just returned from from a 4 night stay at the lovely Best Western Plus Inner Harbour. Fantastic location - only a couple minute walk to the harbour and close to many restaurants. We stayed on the 4th floor - the beds were extremely comfortable, clean room, balcony with table and chairs for use and a nice little kitchenette to top it off. The staff are friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was plentiful - something for everyone to choose from to start your day off. Hotel is highly recommendable!

Stayed here as part of our vacation visiting Vancouver Island. I love Best Westerns. They are usually a great value, run well, comfortable with nice folks. Most of that was true for this hotel in Victoria. Excellent Location. We walked to all the restaurants and other interesting places to see in this Inner Harbour zone. We parked car in the underground parking which was very convenient - but they do charge for that per day. Place is clean, cheery, front staff excellent and they have an assortment of things for breakfast which is included (typical of BW). Their Breakfast room is more like a big sunroom. It is lovely. Kudos who designed that into the place. Our issues were for things that just made our 2 night stay not so comfortable. 1- homeless people hang out in little park that lies between hotel and harbour. They are noisy and can be obnoxious to people passing. I saw them berating an Asian Couple because they were foreigners. Terrible. This could be Victoria city problem, but the hotel must know about them - they are there 24x7. 2- mattress too soft for me, or my husband. Gave us back ache. That is a deal breaker for us. 3 - breakfast was typical BW breakfast .. nothing too fancy but had the basics. I wish they would have labeled those things that are Gluten Free - at least among the hot dishes. Most of Canada seems to be very GF friendly. Not really at this BW. Plus the breakfast staff person was very unfriendly and bothered that I asked about what was GF or not. 4- mostly business travelers for the 2 nights we were here ... thurs and Friday. Different kind of crowd for breakfast than vacationers. Everyone in a hurry. But all the business people really liked this place.

The staff at the hotel were great! Very helpful. We are older and the lack of a full time restaurant was a problem. The rooms were somewhat dated and needed upgrading. We will probably not stay at this location again.

We had the chance to go to Seattle and Canada on vacation we stayed at 5 best westerns during our trip when we stayed here , we got upgraded because of being diamond select , every one was great and friendly the room was awesome . So basically ya need to stop here . Ps get on the reward program it pays off ! Also note this app wouldn't take the ratings on service,location, or how well I slept ,but I give 5 stars on all parts .

Not only was the room clean and tidy, but it looked new and inviting and cared for. i also appreciated that although all hotels talk about saving the environment "hang your towels up if you'll use them again", this was the only hotel on our trip that really did leave the towels for the next day. I don't like the single cup coffeemakers currently in use in guest rooms. We used to get a small pot to make 2 to 4 cups so a guest only needed to make coffee once. The extra material for single cup machines only adds to landfill and is environmentally unfriendly.

We always try to stay here when we come to Victoria. It has a great location within easy walking distance to the harbour, the legislature and beautiful Beacon hill park. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as the Ferry to Seattle. A nice breakfast is included in the price. The rooms are clean and comfortable, some have a harbour view and the staff is friendly and informative. All in all a good place to stay.

We stay at this property every year for a couple nights and we always enjoy our stay! Close to everything in the Inner Harbour! Newly updated and decorated rooms as well as the hot tub area! Rooms are well laid out and always lots of room. Staff are wonderful and always well informed about the city. Highly recommend this hotel for parking, location and cleanliness. We have never had a bad experience staying there!

This is a Hotel in the Inner Harbour area of Victoria and close to downtown and attractions. The Hotel has limited amenities _eg no normal full Hotel Restaurant but does provide a free breakfast in a breakfast room which is quite acceptable in the morning. Rooms are a bit dated and not very bright, but a kitchen is included which would be useful for families. Overall an acceptable Hotel

We always enjoy our stay at BW Inner Harbour. It's walking distance to the stores downtown is great, no traffic, no parking. The Harbour activity is always interesting, especially the bigger ships. The staff are great, always asking how your stay is going and if you need any assistance. Nice to see.

Ask for a high room with a Harbor view. PH is great for a family, a party, a beautiful evening. This hotel is within walking distance of the harbor, shopping, dining, museum, etc. Staff is lovely! Recommend!

Great location. We walked everywhere. Rooms were the best insulated ones I have stayed in in a long time. The only noise we could hear was through the doors. I was initially concerned because our room was right next to one of the elevator shafts. They told me they turned it off between 10 pm and 8 am. It was true. We heard nothing. A great little surprise was the niche kitchen in our room. We didn't use it but it is great to have, especially travelling with the little ones. A spacious balcony was also part of the set up. Rooms were a bit dated but really clean. They had everything we needed. Underground parking was only $12/day. They had a pool. It was really small but prettily set in the garden and it was heated. Breakfast was included. It was really good for a complimentary buffet. The breakfast room is small, so there might be a wait but there is the option to take a tray to your room.

My daughter and I were having a special getaway and I wanted a room with a view of the harbor, a kitchenette and a full breakfast. When I called the hotel to book, the hotel receptionist spent a lot of time making sure I got what a wanted at an affordable price. We could watch the seaplanes land from our little balcony. The hotel is a short walk from the ferry from Port Angeles, which was perfect since we left our car in the US. The housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. Our kitchenette was perfect for our needs. Wonderful trip.

Other than a mediocre breakfast, this is a clean, friendly hotel with a superb location. Walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and shops. Be advised that there is considerable road and harbor noise, but we find that to be part of the charm.

We were visiting family and friends for 4 days which included Thanksgiving weekend. Challenged to get a hotel room and there was a marathon taking place. So I read Trip Advisor reviews and went with BW Inner Harbour and have no regrets. We wanted to be close to the Royal BC Museum and this was steps away. What we also liked was there was a liquor and beet store close by and a great restaurant called the Belleville - a must try. BW Inner Harbour includes breakfast and internet. The breakfast offer enough variety and the staff are superb. There is secured parking for $12 a day with in and out privileges.

This hotel is located less than a block from the Black Ball ferry line, an easy walk even with roller bags. We left our car at home and didn't miss it at all. The breakfast is very robust, with both hot food and cold food options, pastries, waffles and pancakes, several different kinds of cereal, and lot of seating. The room was nice--the bed was comfortable and we had a comfortable desk chair and sitting chairs in addition to a small balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I would like to call attention to the very fine hot tub. The temperature is pleasantly hot. In the off season we had it to ourselves on two different occasions. Breakfast very good. We recommend using the small ferries to get around.

I had the pleasure of a perfect visit to Victoria BC. This mainly in part of my 5 Star stay at the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour. As a member of the Best Western travel program I always try to stay at the Best Western that is in the city I am traveling to in the US or abroad. Prior to my arrival from the US I contacted by phone the reception desk to ask questions about my upcoming stay in the area. Rachel assisted me with my transportation questions, my projected options for my split stay at this location, storage of a suitcase and getting my clothes cleaned, getting stamps to mail postcards to the US and Europe, as well as information about Canada's Thanksgiving and Harvest Festival events. Her helpful recommendations allowed for a smooth plan during my visit. The support I received during my stay from the various reception staff on all shifts, dining room personnel (Lanie) and the housekeeping staff (Naomi) was definitely Top Notch. My suite accommodations (work desk, wi-fi, full kitchen and great balcony to enjoy the fall weather) afforded me to have all the comforts of home away from home. I'm currently on a retreat and when I done, I'm returning to Victoria to stay two more nights. My choice to return and stay at the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour was easy. Great location, staff, excellent suite, great breakfast and they can take care of all your needs. Also, great prices for your stay. Located steps away from the Legislative Buildings, this hotel and its staff is always welcoming. There's secured parking and the free breakfast offers many choices. The kitchenette is fully equipped. It's an excellent hotel for families.

Room was very clean and comfortable. The location is great and an easy walk to sightseeing and restaurants. Garage parking was convenient. The room had a kitchenette which was an added bonus! The king bed was very comfortable. The view of the harbor was beautiful and enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. What a wonderful stay for our family as it was located right next to the ferry terminal and also an easy walk into town! Cannot fault this place from the staff, room, amenities (pool, laundry), etc... The room was so spacious and it even had a kitchenette and balcony!! The breakfast was great too. Only negative: there was a $12 charge for undercover parking. It was a weekend so we were able to park out the front of the hotel at no cost. When you are on a budget family holiday every cent counts. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially families...& would definitely stay there again if we were lucky enough to ever come back to Victoria...& what a beautiful place :)

We stayed for three nights in room No. 703 on the top floor, which had a great view of the harbour from the balcony - with a table and two chairs We had a king size bed with a wardrobe, safe, iron and ironing board, a full kitchen with table and chairs, cutlery drawer, hob, sink, microwave, kettle, fridge, sink, coffee machine, and kettle. Full breakfast included 3 nights = $791.78 TV with WiFi,DVD player sofa and coffee table. Bathroom has a magnified shaving mirror and in the shower unit is a shampoo/shower gel/ conditioner dispenser. There is a whirl pool, sauna, steam room, outside pool and fitness studio, but we never used them

This is the second time I have stayed at the Best Western Harbour Side. The first time was with my sister from England and just recently with my granddaughter. We had a wonderful time and our visit was made more enjoyable because we knew we were in a very clean and safe hotel within walking distance to all tourist spots! The staff are friendly and the breakfast had something for everyone's tastes. Will definitely stay again

Requested a room with two queen beds, that also had a full kitchen, not that we needed it. The room and hotel was clean and quiet even though it was full. The included breakfast was more than adequate and started our day off right. There is also a help yourself tea and coffee station in the lobby. Altogether a good three day stay.

The hotel is very conveniently located close to everything - leave the car in the hotel's parking and walk around. Nice staff - very helpful and obviously loving their jobs. We enjoyed the pool and the Jacuzzi - it felt like a private spa - it was only my family there - it was a bonus

Arriving from Northern Vancouver island, the hotel is easy to find as it is located next to the Parliament Buildings. Quebec Street is a quiet street with at least 3 other hotels. Welcome at the front desk was very friendly, spontaneous and professional. After 1( minutes we got a phone call in our room asking whether we were satisfied with the room. The underground parking is an absolute advantage and so are the luggage carts to bring your luggage directly from the garage to your room. We had a beautiful and spacious corner room on the 7th floor with a balcony overlooking the Inner Harbour. Our one queen room had two excellent armchairs, a working desk, flatscreen, large cupboard with iron and a complete kitchen with 4 hot plates, classic oven and microwave, fridge, coffeemaker and table and chairs for two. We had a very quiet sleep in our room. Breakfast is complementary and served in a room next to the lobby. At rush hours it can get crowded, but tables are rapidly cleaned. The breakfast was correct and we appreciated the fresh fruit salad.

A warm welcome and friendly service throughout our stay. Good size room with sofa and kitchenette--not expected! The bed was comfortable. A view of a bit of the harbor. Breakfast was fine. Location is good.

Second night at Best Western plus. Really comfortable hotel, even has a balcony. Nice and close to the harbour, only 5 minute walk. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Nothing too much trouble. Beds very comfortable too.

We enjoy this hotel and have stayed here before. We like the location next to the ferry since going back to the US requires you are there at least 90 minutes to sailing. Our room was a lovely corner room which allowed good crossventilation. It was comfortable and quiet. Nice towels. Very good breakfast. Convenient parking below. We'll be back yet again.

This was our second visit to the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour, the last being some six years ago. We were impressed then and doubly so now since the refurb that has obviously taken place. We had a small suite with well-equipped kitchen facilities and everything was in working order and felt like new. Bike hire just round the corner and the heart if Victoria less than a stone's throw away. Great walks around the harbour and views when cycling along the coast road to Oak Bay. However, Victoria is a tourist city so there is plenty of hustle and bustle compared with the rest of Vancouver Island. Best Western Plus Inner Harbour sits in the middle of all that hustle and bustle, but is a quiet haven to escape to.

From our check-in to our departure, it was all a very positive experience. Very courteous staff. The rooms were updated, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette was a nice added bonus in the room. A large balcony to enjoy a late afternoon cocktail. It comes with a complimentary breakfast; in a very nicely maintained room. Lots of fresh hot & cold options to choose from. The mgr of the breakfast room is Jan. She is a sweetheart. Very personable and loves what she does. This was the first time we stayed at this hotel in Victoria and we will definitely be back there!!!

Loved every aspect of this hotel beginning with the location (2 minute walk from the ferry) to the greeting as we came in the front door, our room being available even before check-in time and perfect in comfort, layout, view and amenities to the complimentary breakfast to the helpful and friendly staff. It was all wonderful!

The BW+ Inner Harbor is about as close to the ferry unloading dock as you can get without getting your feet wet. The arrangement of the rooms is convenient with a small kitchenette in a corner which is very nice for having a cup of coffee in the morning. Once we parked our car in the underground garage, we walked everywhere since nothing was very far. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a BW. The only issue during my stay was the noise from the restaurant next door.

We always come back to this BW. Location, location, location. Never been disappointed yet. The staff have alway been excellent. Already made a reservation for the end of the year. If you like being down by the water this is the place.

Junior suite is spacious, with massive deck (get the second floor suite for very deck). Stayed a week, but could be comfortable for much longer. Fantastic breakfast and breakfast staff, plus knowledgeable on Gluten free items as i am Celiac and never had a problem. Location is just perfect, a block off busy street, but walkable to everywhere downtown and Fisherman's Wharf. Only complaint would be the potential for noise. Thin doors, could hear everything in the halls and doors slam hard and loud. But that said, nothing disturbed us. Front desk staff was helpful and very friendly. Would absolutely return.

We went after Labor Day, during the week, and split the cost of the penthouse with another couple. WELL WORTH IT. Great value for the price. Had 2 bed, 2 bath, kitchen, dining, fireplace and living room, wrap around deck with terrific inner harbor room. Nice breakfast, great service. Close to everything. Underground parking for additional fee. 1 block from all the carriage rides. No onsite restaurant, but there is one next door at the Days inn.

the one bedroom penthouse sweet.. DO NOT stay in it. Very noisy as the elevator shaft is inside your room, sound like a broken down bowling ally. Black mold in the shower, broken closet doors , clogged drains. totally disgusting. elevator broke down during our stay, had to use the staircase. You would expect more for $430 per night, don't you think? never again will a stay at a " Worst Western" hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff. First night was tough as we were in a ground floor room (104) facing the street. No air conditioning in the hotel and we could not very well leave the patio door/drapes open. The room was very humid and stuffy. After bringing to the staffs' attention, the offered to move our suitcases for us to a new room. This was on the sixth floor and the ability to leave the screen open for air makes all the difference. Very clean and nicely furnished rooms. Nice little kitchenette in the second room, too. Breakfast is included and includes eggs and meat items. Secure underground parking for a nominal $12 a night. Understand that they do long term rates in the winter slow season - will look into this further as a possibility once retired.

We stayed in room 802, a 2 bedroom penthouse suite that provides views of more than 180 degrees including the Inner Harbor, much of the Legislative Building, the harbor and mountains in all directions. The rooftop terrace was lovely and relaxing as we watched ships come in and the sun set (a blocked view but the rose light glowing off the cruise ships in the harbor was stunning.) The staff was helpful and the breakfast was excellent. (The self-making pancake conveyor is a fun "toy" for kids and adults alike.) Whenever I wanted a good chuckle, I'd head outside and watch the water taxis scoot across the Harbor. I'd also recommend taking the guided tour of the Legislative Building, high tea at the Empress Hotel and just take the time to walk through town.

Two reasons 4 stars given as there is very limited parking for full size pickups and the 2 spaces were occupied by compact cars AND hotel price is pricey. Desk clerks are very friendly and helpful. Close to several major sites.

This is a great hotel, and we loved it! Stayed for four nights. The hotel staff is top-notch and super helpful and delightful. Staff had wonderful advice on getting to tourist locations, printing out bus information, etc. Breakfast buffet is excellent with a big selection of things to eat, and the kitchen staff are totally on top of keeping the food stocked and dishes cleared out. It makes your day start out much easier when you know you can get a great breakfast right downstairs. The only fly in the ointment in our stay was that our room was REALLY noisy. We couldn't figure out what was causing the rhythmic banging at all hours of the day & night, and were too exhausted to ask to move until the last night. My mother referred to the noise as "Chinese water torture" that kept her from sleeping and eventually drove her nuts. It sounded like someone upstairs walking in high heels across a hardwood floor. Loud clack-clack-clack like a drum beat. I definitely recommend this hotel, but do not take room #705, as you will hear bang-bang-bang, clack-clack-clack all night. It's probably the elevator mechanism, as the room is right across from the elevator, just beneath the Penthouse floor. When we moved rooms, we got the same harbour view, but lower down, and the room was quiet as a church mouse. Also note that rooms #705 and below are narrower than rooms #703 and below. You get about another 16" in width, which makes walking between the bed and dresser area much better. The furniture and layout was identical between our two rooms, and the "03" room was definitely wider. The kitchen adds to the convenience -- nice little table/chair set, dishes, microwave & stove. Hotel is very clean, totally non-smoking, easy downtown location making it super convenient. I would absolutely stay here again, just wouldn't get that noisy room!

This hotel is in the centre of the inner harbour. You could not ask for a more central starting point. All restaurants, shopping, attractions and tours in the inner harbour are within walking distance. The rooms are nice with kitchenettes and a balcony, the included full breakfast is a perfect way to start the day.

We have stayed at the Best Western Inner Harbor Victoria many times. Best Hotel in Victoria. Excellent Staff. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Excellent value. A 2 minute walk to the Inner Harbor, Shops, Restaurants.

There are a few excellent hotels near the Inner Harbour in this price range, but this is an excellent one. The location is great, a block from the Inner Harbour. There are many restaurants within a short walk, including some within the block. Lots of sightseeing within walking distance. Carriage Rides are a block away. The room was fabulous: spacious, clean and had all the amenities you'd need. We ha a corner room with two balconies. There was no A/C which might have been an issue had the weather been warmer. The hotel has a small outdoor pool and an indoor hot tub, sauna, fitness centre and a computer to print boarding passes (I wouldn't say Business Centre as it was just 2 computers and chairs out in the open). There is no room service. The hotel and rooms are nicely decorated. The staff were universally helpful and friendly from the front desk to the breakfast room to the cleaning staff. Only misstep was the front desk gave us the # of a pizza shop that was not opened until later in the month.

The location of this hotel is perfect because you can walk to several locations in the downtown area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I find the staff very helpful and ready to give you advice as where to go and things to see during your stay. I have stayed in this location for three years now when I am visiting Victoria and really like it. The underground parking is secure so you don't have to worry about your vehicle which is so nice.

This is just one of many hotels around the harbor in Victoria. This one has a large comfortable living room/bedroom with couch and bed. It also has a small kitchenette, but I'm not sure when you would use it given the large number of eating places in the area. Rooms seem a little pricey. Parking under the hotel is $12/day. You should note this hotel is NOT air conditioned. I don't know whether this is common here or not. The hotel provides a 12" oscillating fan to move the air around. The balcony door and kitchen window are both open and the temperature is comfortable. Now the drawback - we are on the second floor at the front of hotel - so we get street noise and leaving balcony door open at night could be a security risk. Breakfast "eggs" were an overdone egg fritta. My wife said they didn't taste bad, but don't choose one which is too well done. Get to the breakfast room early because it fills fast with families and kids. People had to eat quickly and move so the table could be reused by the next folks.

We celebrated our 50th anniversary in Victoria and stayed at the Best Western Inner Harbour with our family. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make it a special experience. We plan on returning for a month next winter.

Great room, great view, great service and awesome location for walking downtown Victoria. Parking could be included with the price of the room and outdoor pool wasn't heated so unless you're in the sunlight on a hot day stick to the hot tub. But I didn't go there for the pool it was a bonus that they had one so I won't hold against them.

We were in Victoria for a outlets of days during a holiday in BC. We found the room to be very good. Having the balcony to enjoy a morning coffee was great. The staff were very helpful. They knew the area well.

We stayed for almost a week in July and there is very little bad about this hotel. First and foremost the employees were all helpful, polite, and professional. The location was great, the breakfast has REAL maple syrup, and we were pleased with the price.

This is a nice hotel, everything is close to this hotel. Nice location and service is second to none. Many good restaurants around, although pricey. I recommend the Flying Otter, Fresh, fast, friendly service and great value. The best seafood paella and mango salad I have ever had.

We have stayed at this hotel before and it is just as great as ever. Staff are so helpful and accommodating--they must have a super training programme there for staff. Included breakfast is very varied and wellprepared. rooms have a wee kitchen and balcony which is a big plus. Love the views from our balcony. Decided to stay an extra night. As the hotel was almost fully booked,we had to change rooms--no problem--just packed everything up and staff moved all our stuff. No a/c but balconies with large doors to open save the day..Location is superb. We definitely will stay here again!

Quiet, spacious 1 bedroom suite, close to all attractions if you don't mind a leisurely stroll. Breakfast was good but needed more warm food options (form of eggs provided, less fatty bacon). Parking and rollaway bed should be included in the costly price of the room.

This hotel was in a spectacular location and served our family perfectly! The hotel was just a short 2 minute walk from downtown Victoria where most of the tourist attractions are, and a 30 second walk from the British Columbia parliament buildings (which are beautiful)! The hotel is also just a few minutes from fisherman's warf which was also beautiful. The wifi in the hotel was very reliable, and our room had a very modern feel to it. There was no AC; however, even though it was very hot outside when we visited, because the hotel is on the harbour it wasn't bad at all! We kept our balcony door open, which we felt perfectly safe doing, as well as the fan turned on (which was provided). Staff was very friendly and always willing to offer assistance. Only suggestion would be improving the breakfasts- we loved having the complimentary breakfast; however, we felt that the options were limited for the price we were paying to stay in the hotel. Overall, this hotel offered a great stay and if I ever visit Victoria again I would try to book this hotel again due to its great location and hospitality.

We made this booking with short notice so were glad to get the one bedroom suite for a 3 day get away mid week. Location of this hotel is it's best feature. Our suite was clean but the decor is quite outdated and the bathroom really needs a facelift. Everything just looks tired. I realize there is probably little incentive to freshen things up as the tourism is constant year round. Still, when and if we return, we will look at other choices.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice room amenities; large room with kitchenette and balcony. Very clean! It is steps away from the inner harbor and Parliament building. Excellent breakfast buffet; frittatas, sausage and hash browns with everything else you could possibly think of to eat. There is a $12 per night parking fee for their underground parking garage. We would definitely stay there again!

Every year I visit Victoria with my sisters. We always stay down near the inner harbor, as there is so much to do that is within walking distance. This year we stayed at Best Western. I was pleased with the room size, and that it had a small separate kitchen, this was very handy. I think the Best Western could have splurged a little more and put water in the rooms, instead of charging you per bottle at the desk. Also robes would have been nice as but was told they are only for the Penthouse and Suites. You would think for $300.00 a night they could have provided them. One thing to note is that they do not have air conditioning, but do have a small far, the windows open. Now this did not bother me and I was actually happy to have the windows open, and a quiet night and good sleep. I have rarely had a good nights sleep in a hotel with a noisy air conditioner, even with ear plugs. Oh yes they sever breakfast and have good coffee. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed overnight at the Best Western Hotel in a 2bedr penthouse suite with friends and had a great time. Clean with comfortable beds. (better than bed at home!) Service with a smile and great complimentary breakfast. Kitchen in unit was great. Location is excellent to everything in Victoria inner harbour. We walked everywhere. We have stayed in this hotel last Dec. in a single room and we also had a great experience. An older hotel that has been modernized with great comfortable beds and super location.

This is my third time staying at BW Inner Harbour in Victoria. So close to the ferry we just park the car in Port Angeles and its a block from ferry on BC side to hotel. Staff is great and enjoy there complimentary breakfast.

Hotel was not fronting onto Inner Harbour but only 2 minutes away. This helps make it affordable. We were able to check in early which was great for us as we were travelling by bus. The hotel staff were very friendly and knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble. Our room had a small patio looking out onto the garden which was great for a cool relaxing time. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and had a small kitchen which was very useful. We had a room with breakfast and this was the only point of concern. For the size of hotel the breakfast room was very small and it can get very busy meaning you might have to wait for a table or share. The cooked part was not particularly to our taste but was ok but there was a huge variety of other food available. The hotel is located very close to Inner Harbour and all the downtown attractions are within a short walk. We used public transport but parking is available. The bus from Swartz Bay stops just a block away and returns from the same place. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Victoria, we will certainly try to stay there again when we return.

Great things about this hotel: parking right in the middle of the town near the Empress Hotel, wonderful breakfast (even had gluten free items) included in price, within walking distance of all sites, 20 minute drive to Bucharest Gardens, a lovely room and great staff.

This was a one night stay after our cruise and was booked last minute. I have never been impressed with Best Western, but this one was excellent. Situated just a short walk from the town and near the harbour, all the 'posh' hotels are in the same area, yet ours was half the price! A large room, two doubles and a balcony, a small kitchen, which we weren't expecting, all immaculatey clean. The outdoor pool was open late, so we had an evening swim, before using the hot tub, which was empty of people. Cards were needed for all the doors, which was difficult as we only had one and other half had to wait to go in etc., but not really a problem. We paid $12 parking, but then were able to leave it there in the underground car park, with our bags, the next day, so ideal. Breakfast a bit squashe and no hot options, gluten free cereal was provided. A good hotel for the money, no problems, friendly staff, but best was the location.

This was our third trip to Victoria in a year, and our third to the BW Plus Inner Harbour. No need to change a perfect arrangement! There is every reason to stay here. First...the location is PERFECT! If you come in on the ferry as a foot passenger, it takes fewer than five minutes to walk from the ferry terminal to the front entrance to the hotel. In addition, EVERYTHING is within minutes on foot. Secondly, you are greeted by some of the friendliest people you will meet in Victoria. (We love you, Kayla, Kirsten, April and Lee!). They are so helpful in every way! THIRDLY: The rooms have been consistently perfect! Clean, up to date, roomy, everything you could want! Fourth: Included breakfast. LOTS of choices, wonderful staff! Jan has become like family, as has all staff mentioned. She is a workaholic who will make sure you have everything you need for breakfast. She is constantly buzzing to keep food items "topped off." The rest f the dining staff are on top of keeping tables, utensils and other amenities ready and available. It was no easier to leave this time than the two times before. This hotel will always be our home away from home in Victoria. If you want a true "Welcome to your home in Victoria," then this is it. Our over-the-top rave of this hotel is one that is well deserved. Our special thanks, as well, to our very gracious hostess, Thaylin, an exceptional manager who knows how to treat her guests. Easy to walk to the activities and see the water from your room. There were some issues though, the room wasn't that clean- the furniture was dirty. The whirlpool was closed, this was a problem since the poll was so cold. The breakfast room was chaotic. Too small amount of people who wanted to use it. Tight hallways and slow elevators. Overall not our best experience on our trip. Wish I knew we would pay for parking and the kitchenette ahead of time.

Easy to find and great location to visit the Inner Harbour area of Victoria. Had to pay extra for parking but it was very easy to find parking. The hotel is only about 1 block from the Coho ferry terminal to Port Angeles.

Hotel great location to ferries. Just across street. Also, easy walk to Inner Harbor sights. Front desk staff nice and helpful. There are fans in room to help circulate air. We were there when it was warm, so that was nice without A/C. Breakfast came with room, which is nice. It had nice assortment of hot and cold items.

Perfect spot for a stay. Everything you want is but minutes away , from tours of the harbour to exploring the history of British Columbia. Downtown Victoria is at your fingertips. Oh! The hotel is great too!

I booked a room for 4 of us - my mom, daughter and sister for a 3 generation family trip. I had requested a harbour view and got it! The beds were great, we had a kitchenette, nice balcony with a view and the pool and grounds were like we were in someone's private back yard - beautifully landscaped and private. Breakfast was included and is a very nice full breakfast we fully enjoyed every morning. The location was amazing for everything - nice walk/jog from the hotel to fishermans wharf. Great walk just down to the harbour and downtown, restaurants close by and the parliament buildings are just right around the corner. Only down was the occasional loitering just on the other side of the fence of the hotel property (we could see them from our room but never heard anything). I would totally return and recommend this hotel without hesitation!

Good place to stay to see the city of Victoria. Close to the ferry dock and walking distance from downtown. Room facing the park is a little tight but we appreciated the small kitchen and balcony. Breakfast was good with excellent potato patties.

Stayed here for three days; the room was clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold selections. Above all, the staff was helpful and friendly. Close to the harbor (within a block).

Staff were great, quick accurate answers to questions and helpful when we had a particular need. Room was great, 5th floor corner room with two balconies, so we could open both windows and let the breeze through to coll the room. No AC as Victoria is a mild climate, but the cool room made for better sleeping, The seagull noise in the morning did wake us however. Breakfast was disappointing given some of the reviews. First morning it had egg patties???? They looked like the egg disks from a breakfast sandwich, and were over cooked. The next day was egg omelettes, again overcooked, and supposed to have cheese inside. There was a smear of cheese inside, not enough to taste. Room was nicely cleaned and well appointed and had a full kitchen. Location is excellent if you walk on the Black Ball Ferry, and very handy for the Inner Harbour and downtown.

Great clean place in walking distance to all the attractions! Staff is very friendly. All rooms have kitchenette with stove to cook if needed. The hot breakfast is convenient and differs daily. Great variety of fruits, cereals and other cold items served as well. Hot coffee in the lobby 24/7.

This hotel is close to everything in downtown Victoria and because it is one block off the main street - it is quiet. we walked off the ferry and stayed here and visited the city! The rooms are nicely arranged and have all the conveniences. The best part was the wonderful breakfast options. We were thrilled with the breakfast and could even say that they were one of the best breakfasts that we had at a hotel this summer!

Good location as it is within walking distance to downtown. Also near the water. Nice big room, clean and quiet, good breakfast with pleasant staff, comfortable beds. Nice to have a little fridge. (could have had brighter lighting in the room) Also handy to bus stop for ferry.

The staff was so accommodating! We arrived early in the morning after taking the Clipper from Seattle, the staff held our luggage while we toured Victoria.They called when the room was ready. The balcony view of the harbor was worth the extra upgrade. The breakfast had so many choices. The hotel also held our luggage until our afternoon ship left so that we could continue to see Victoria.

I absolutely loved this hotel and its staff. I stayed mid-June and had a room overlooking the water. The view was slightly obscured by trees in the park. I could hear music from the hotel next door and from festivals in town. The kitchen was more than I needed with a full fridge, oven and stove, plus microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. There were plates, bowls, cutlery, pots and pans. There was a table and two chairs. No restaurant in hotel but they do serve a full breakfast (made it there a few times), there are plenty of restaurants nearby, and there's a 24 hour supermarket a few blocks away. I didn't realize there was a pool, sauna, and hot tub at the hotel so didn't bring my bathing suit. Wi-fi wasn't the best as the signal kept dropping. Staff was extremely helpful with suggestions and bookings. The hotel is next to the Parliament and steps away from downtown and the waterfront. I will return next time I am in Victoria.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. All the employees were great,...happy to assist you in any way. Enjoyed the breakfast....lots to choice from. Enjoyed our room...very quiet...very comfy..lots of water to take a shower. Location is perfect... close to everything!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here in Victoria in June. Good breakfast in the morning and the hotel is within walking distance to almost everything. Or you can take a water taxi from across the main street. Safe underground parking if you have a car. We had a room with a view of the harbor. which I highly recommend as you can sit out on the room's balcony and enjoy the view of the harbor and the ferries and everything else. Victoria is bussing now with the 150! A fun time for all!!!

We stayed here during the Canada 150th birthday celebrations, and it's in a great position. Within walking distance to downtown, the harbour and all the amenities, plus quietly set back so you get a peaceful night's sleep. Rooms were comfortable, beds were lovely and soft, plus a small kitchen so you can sort yourself out if need be. Staff were very friendly and helpful at Reception - would definitely recommend it for a reasonable place to stay when visiting Victoria. We had 3 kids who loved the outside pool, and with breakfast included it was wonderful. Thankyou Best Western!

My family just completed a 7 night stay at this hotel in Victoria. Throughout our stay, we were very impressed with the front desk staff, especially Rachel and Kristen. Their tips on what to see and do in Greater Victoria and the Island were excellent. Our maid service was also excellent. Overall the hotel amenities, including the breakfast, made this holiday a very memorable one. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Ps: The hotel is within walking distance to a great many sites and restaurants, including the Inner Harbour in Victoria. The whale watching trips are a must. We saw 2 humpbacks do a double breach, which was amazing.

We stayed at the BW Plus Inner Harbor for three nights and enjoyed every aspect of our time there. To begin with, the hotel has an excellent location. It is within easy walking distance of many of Victoria's attractions and numerous restaurants, and within one block of the dock where the Port Angeles-Victoria ferry lands (so it is very easy to get to this venue either with a car or as a foot passenger on the ferry). Underground parking is available at a small daily fee. The room we had (on a harborside corner of the 7th floor) was very clean and comfortable, and had a spectacular view of the port and downtown Victoria. And, all the staff we encountered from the moment we arrived were very welcoming and efficient. We recommend this hotel highly and will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Victoria.

The Hotel is so conveniant for every thing in Victoria.Gosh how do I put into words about your hotel. We wouldn't stay there if it wasn't up to our standard.Also lots of great walks around the Harbour.

This hotel is amazing. Right down the street from Parliament, very close to downtown and most downtown attractions. Fisherman's Wharf is a very walkable distance, Victoria Visitor center, pubs, and restaurants are all very close. For the proximity to all the noise this hotel is very quiet, offers free breakfast and very safe, underground parking. Great location and amenities for the price! Our room also had a full kitchen complete with stove.

My wife and I went to Victoria as a part of a long vacation. The Best Western Inner Harbour is just a block away from the docking location of the Port Angeles Ferry. And the hotel is walking distance from great restaurants and attractions around the Inner Harbour. The hotel itself has self parking (not free), has good WiFi, good clean rooms, is nice and quiet, free breakfast, and we had nights of great sleep. This isn't a new hotel, as the hallways are a bit narrow as in many older ones. But there's not a lot of negatives with this one. And we didn't find the price as high as we expected. We really enjoyed this hotel and would certainly come back here again.

The Best Western Inner Harbor has the best views of Victoria, BC's harbor. The activity of float planes, ferries, whale watching zodiacs offers an ever changing canvas. From our room we could see the Fairmont Hotel, Parliament Building and all the lights of the surrounding hotels. Everything is in walking distance including downtown. The hotel itself was welcoming, staff were very helpful and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Absolutely loved the hotel. The staff were extremely kind and courteous. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. Ensuite kitchennete was handy. Toilet was good too though a tad bit small. Couldn't open the door completely. Tge gym was sufficient and had the necessary equipments. The steam was fantastic as was the hot tub. Didn't try the sauna. Breakfast was good and adequate. A 24/7 depanneur was nearby and is useful given rooms didnt come with drinking water. I wasnt sure if tap water was ok. Hotel is located in strategic location with all major attractions nearby. If staying in the hotel, one must visit flying otter and grill. Delicious food. Moreover a wine shop just beside tge hotel was pretty good too. Would definitely recommend this hotel to families with young children, couples. Underground parking is available for CAD 12 per day.

there are lots of hotels to choose from in Victoria but I'm glad we chose this one for our trip. It was extremely convenient, just a few steps from the ferry dock and easy walking distance to all the fun activities in Victoria. It's not located on right on the busy street though, so it was easy to get a quiet night's rest. The entire hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The sauna, the hot tub, and the steam room for great after all the walking we did. On top of all that breakfast was included, so it made staying there a very good deal.

Nice hotel with off street parking at $15 can. a night. The hotel was centrally located next door to the capital building and Royal Museum. The room was large. Found the room a little stuffy late in the afternoon and found out there was no air conditioner. We open the balcony door and turned on the fan and room quickly cooled down. The balcony was nice to sit on sip a little wine as we relaxed after touring the city. Breakfast buffet included in price and food was good. Would stay here again.

The hotel has a great location, within spitting distance of the harbour bars & restaurants. The room we had was well appointed with a full kitchenette, TWO (count 'em!) balconies and comfortable chairs. We did use the leisure facilities and found these to be clean & surprisingly empty! The breakfast was, as usual, delicious and more than enough to sate our appetite and avoid the need for a large lunch. I have to mention that my wife left a dress on the balcony when we left and the hotel are happy to return this to our UK address, which I see as 'above & beyond' from a service perspective! The only other observation I would make and this is not specifically directed at this BW as the same critique could be levelled at the BW Plus we are currently staying at in Revelstoke and others we have stayed at, and this is that I think BW have missed a trick in not offering any kind of dinner dining option. Presumably there are basic kitchen facilities on-site and I would have thought that that could be extended to include a pizza oven or something similar. That said there are other local dining options so not a big deal; just a minor nice-to-have.

The room was clean, nicely laid out, tastefully decorated, and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. They served a nourishing breakfast and the accommodation was very close to the inner harbour.

This hotel is in a convenient location for the inner harbor but at a cheaper rate than some of the others nearby. We had a kingsize room not looking over the harbor. The bed was comfortable. The room had a small kitchenette, a desk and sofa, which would make a longer stay comfortable. There is a whirlpool which was good, plus sauna and pool; laundry available for use. Free wifi.

This was our first time to Victoria and we were not disappointed. The Best Western Plus Inner Harbour is in a great location. We could walk or take the bus anywhere we wanted to go, including Butchart Gardens. We walked on the ferry from Vancouver and took the bus into the city at a cost of only $2.50 CAN. It was super easy to find the hotel as it was only a block from the BC Legislature and the bus stopped on the same block. We arrived early in the morning, and headed straight for the hotel as they said we could store our bags there until check-in at 4:00. However, we were pleasantly surprised to learn our room was ready, so we got to check in early. If you visit, you must try the pizza at "The Joint" on Warf street. They even have an awesome gluten free option. We brought the pizza back to the hotel and picked up beer from the Beer and Wine store located right next door to the hotel. Our room included a kitchenette, so we were able to easily re-heat the pizza. Restaurants were a little more expensive than we are used to, but given the location, prices were probably inline. I would recommend this hotel.

Located one block from the water, but some rooms have a view of the Inner Harbor and the gardens between the hotel and the water. We had a kitchenette (not requested.) Rooms are large and comfortable. Staff was very, very knowledgeable and helpful - both about finding our way around Victoria and in recommending the Harbor House Inn (around the corner) for dinner. Best Western Plus breakfast was fine and better than most. Hotel has a covered parking garage.

Not cheap but nicely appointed suites with a harbor view. Full breakfast included. Parking fee is additional but they let us use our space for a few hours after checkout. Lovely staff and a short walk to most of downtown.

The hotel is clean, neat, with an airy friendly vibe. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. Most of the sights are within an easy walking distance. My king room was spacious, with a balcony and small kitchenette. Would definitely stay there again. There is no restaurant in the hotel, just the breakfast buffet, but there are many good restaurants close by.

We booked on AirMiles, and we stayed in a suite with a King bed and kitchenette. We were down at the end of the first floor (#105), which was great, because not only did we have a ground floor patio, but there were only two other suites in that section...which meant we didn't hear doors opening and closing all night. The staff were amazing - super friendly, and wonderfully helpful. The hotel is easy walking distance for a trek around the inner harbour. The full breakfast included with the room rate was the perk that made us choose this hotel over another. It was great to have included, but the eggs and sausage were only luke warm. It was a pretty full spread though, and the pancakes were delicious. We only stayed one night, but would have been very comfortable there for an extended stay. Will definitely be back the next time we're in Victoria.

Staff were very helpful and , on the phone, the booking clerk went over the top with what room would be best, gave us clear driving directions . The room was big and beds were comfortable. The little kitchen was a bonus. We were within walking distance of all the major sites we wanted to visit. Had a lovely time , and would definitely stay there again. I rate it AAAAA.

This Hotel is beautiful. Perfect location and great value. The staff are very nice and the hotel is clean and looks newly renovated. Hot breakfest every monring was good. My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus Inner Harbour, Staff was very friendly, rooms were great and park view was very relaxing. Nice to have pool and workout facilities available. Close to downtown and Fisherman's Wharf.

Victoria is sooo beautiful. This Best Western very convenient - easy walk to Parliament bldg, harbor shops, Empress. Beds very comfortable & lots to choose from for breakfast. Underground parking. Days Inn next door has great Halibut fish & chips.

We enjoyed all the people we met at the hotel from Kayle at the front office, the room attendant on the 6th floor, the two ladies in the breakfast room on Tuesday and Wednesday morning on 6/23/and 6/24 and the night clerck who showed us how to turn on the shower...a pull down knob!!!!

The hotel is ideally located, very close to the Parliament building. Nice, clean rooms. Breakfast is included and is excellent. Staff is very professional and welcoming. Fast wifi. Not sure what I need more!

While staying st this hotel over the busy Memorial Day weekend, I was pleasantly surprised at the outstanding quality of customer service, cleanliness and comfort provided by the staff and amenities. The location is close to the ferry terminal and inner harbor.

Booked because of Best Western - and glad we did - great location easy walk to the inner harbor attractions - booked into hotel and got room 605 - with a partial view of the harbor - room was on the smaller footprint size - but had a full kitchenette with supplies - great balcony - good internet capability - like the coffee but with a refrigerator why not supply real creamers rather than the powdered stuff --- good breakfast buffet supplied - staff are friendly and knowledgeable - surprised that there was an additional charge for parking - but a good stay in a comfortable facility

This hotel has everything you need to be comfortable albeit on a small scale; Balcony has seating for two (needs to be swept or cleaned), Whirlpool, Dry/steam sauna, outdoor pool (not opened for the season yet), fairly good breakfast...love the choice of beverages but nothing for lactose intolerance folks like me:( Beds were comfy but mattress seems old; woke up every morning with low back pain (had to rotate my mattress...helped a bit). Fitness room has one of each equipment, surprisingly available when needed as not used frequently by guests. Two flat screen TV's in the fitness room has no audio just for décor or looks only; purposely set by hotel management. So will advise that you bring along your listening/electronic device for your workout. Travelled with my family for leisure but find the room too small compared to other BW's that I've stayed in. Love the kitchenette complete with dishes and utensils but no reasonable pots or dishwasher; not needed on this our trip anyways:). Hard to get a warm setting for water from the faucets in the kitchen and bathroom; tendency to burn from the hot water. Location is excellent; walking distance to almost all interesting places.

The hotel is in comfortable walking distance of almost every place we wanted to go in Victoria during our one-week visit. The Legislative Buildings, worth several stops for us, are just a block away. There is also a good grocery store just to the south on Menzies Street. Our room was a corner one with two picture windows and balconies, a kitchenette, two upholstered armchairs with good lighting for reading, and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is on a quiet street, and rooms are well insulated acoustically, so we slept well even in the heart of the city. The excellent, friendly, efficient front desk and housekeeping staff made us feel welcome and make this hotel feel special.

We were able to book our stay with airmiles and really all I expected was a clean place to stay, but we were really pleasantly surprised. The staff were fantastic, can not say enough good things about them. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the Inner Harbour and shopping, Parliament, Fisherman's Wharf, etc. But with the car we could scoot around the outside to get out of the busy inner areas and on the road to adventures farther afield. Hot breakfasts were good. My son loved making pancakes for himself every morning with the pancake maker. The pool was closed during our stay but we used the whirlpool and sauna almost daily. We also were very surprised to discover our room had a full kitchen with stove and oven. Fantastic stay for families.

Booked with airmiles so not sure what we would find. We were on the 2nd floor but our unit looked out over a lovely garden/park and was very quiet. Close to everything. The room was nice with a small kitchenette but with breakfast include we didn't really use it. It would be great if a person was visiting for a few days.

The best thing about the Best Western Inner Harbour, is the consistency. It is a clean hotel with a delicious breakfast and a great location. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are not fancy but they are very clean and comfortable. I couldn't ask for a better hotel. The location is perfect, a block from the ferry, 4 blocks to the Empress, 6-7 blocks to a grocery store. I will stay here again. Thank you, Best Western for another great visit.

We booked this delightful hotel for our anniversary and we were happy we did. This hotel is well managed by attententive staff and was spotless and comfortable. The location on a quiet street is is just a short stroll from the waterfront and many of the top sights that beautiful Victoria is famous for. Highly recommended.

This is a great hotel for the price, located 1/2 block from the Harbor. Spent 3 nights here in mid-May 2017. Our first visit to Victoria. We loved our room, very clean and quiet. Kitchen was in a little nook, with frig and dishwasher and a table for eating. Staff was outstanding. Kayla helped us with getting our DVD player to work and had a great sense of humor. Everyone who worked there was a pleasure to deal with. Breakfast was great, too. We will definitely stay here again! Highly recommended.

The hotel is conveniently located on the inner harbor of Victoria where its easy to walk to tons of shopping and sight seeing and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and the bed and linens are very nice. We had a corner suite with a small kitchenette and lots of windows and light. The breakfast is typical of most "included breakfasts" but it is convenient for getting going in the morning. My one complaint is that the only coffee choice is Dark roast and it was far to dark and strong to be tolerated - not everyone can drink that and it would have been nice to have a choice of dark or medium roast.

Would not accommodate an early checkin on a cold wet day with a prepaid reservation but let three others walk in off the street and go right to room. Felt every spring in bed. More interested in their house hunting then getting me in room.

An easy walk from the ferry terminals on Quebec Street! And very easy walk to downtown Empress Hotel, shops and restaurants on Government Street. Very quiet location, new carpet, comfortable bed, kitchenette with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, table and two chairs, plus dishes, mugs, glasses! Bath with granite counters, arm chair seating area, balcony w/ table and chairs! Complimentary breakfast with wide assortment of food! Amazing hotel at a very reasonable price.

Great hotel minutes from Inner Harbour with very comfortable beds, clean room and a warm, friendly staff. Great breakfast and easy check-in/out. If driving a larger vehicle underground parking may be an issue as level 2 is only available to vehicles 5'4" and lower.

We live in Port Angeles, WA and decided to take the Black Ball Ferry from there to Victoria, celebrate my wife's birthday, stay overnight, and then take the ferry back home the next morning. The Best Western Plus Inner Harbour is within 10 minutes walking time from the ferry dock. The hotel staff allowed us to store our bags until our room would be ready in mid afternoon. That allowed us to go have high tea and do some birthday shopping. Our room was on the 7th floor overlooking the street away from the harbor and it had a small balcony. Our room was very clean and modern, flat screen HDTV and a DVD player and instructions on how to access it. The room had a small kitchen alcove complete with regular stove, sink, microwave, dishes, a small table and two chairs. We had two very comfortable queen beds. There was a small desk area next to the TV and MOST IMPORTANTLY, an electrical outlet that had six plug-ins for the laptops and cell phones charging cables. The front desk supplied us with free small tubes of toothpaste which we had forgotten to back. The free breakfast was really good with a great variety of food in a large, clean and comfortable room. Overall, we thought this hotel offered so many good things and at a very good price point for the traveler. The free wifi was easy to connect to and had a very strong signal. We will always in the future be staying here again.

We stayed here for two night. Very comfortable room with comfy beds. The breakfast was very plentiful and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The only con was a little noisy from the street even when your on the higher level.

We would highly recommend this hotel, the beds were so comfy, it was on a pretty street bursting with pink blossoms and we had a view of the inner harbour. The float planes can be a bit noisy, but we don't mind that. The location was great for walking around, lots to see and do. We can't wait to go back to idyllic James Bay and see the fall colours next time.

This hotel is located in the Inner Harbour close to many attractions. It has nice decor, friendly staff, a really good hot breakfast included with your stay, and balconies for each room. We will definitely return to this Best Western next time we are in Victoria.

Nice stay on inner harbour. No complaints at all about this typical BW property. The park view room with small kitchen was nice. We met people who are staying for 30 or more days. We will look into that.

We chose this hotel because of the location and free breakfast. It didn't disappoint! The hotel was in easy walking distance of the harbour, museums, shopping, Fisherman's Wharf, etc. The view from the 7th floor was gorgeous, looking out over the water. We rented a car to tour further abroad. The hotel offered secure, easy-access parking for $12/night. The outdoor pool was closed until May and we didn't get a chance to use the hottub, but we had a peek and it looked fine, with an entrance through bathroom showers and a small spa area. Gym looked great too. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and had bottled water readily available for 50c! Great when you're all set for a tramp around the city. The rooms were spacious with comfy beds. Wi-fi was excellent. Maid service was top notch. No complaints from us! Thanks for the stay.

Very nice hotel located on the waterfront in Victoria, BC. Free hot breakfast. Parking garage located beneath the hotel and walking distance to the wharf and Victoria downtown. Rooms were clean and spacious and well appointed. Very reasonable rates. I would stay here again.

Each person with whom we interacted was wonderfully cordial and professional. When a minor problem occurred, it was given proper attention from a conscientious maintenance person. The staff working in the breakfast room are top notch. Each day of our 6 day visit was especially off to a good start with a good breakfast which had changes of what was served each day! The staff made certain that the entire area was properly stocked and clean. I would recommend this hotel for people who enjoy a quiet location which is easily accessible to the many city activities. My wife and I like the Best Western hotels, however, this hotel is not your "average" Best Western. It is truly a pleasure to recommend.

We were very pleased with our stay here, quiet clean bight room, very comfortable for 2 people. Beds were wonderful, thoughtful touch's through out. Staff is vey pleasant and helpful. This is our third time to using this same hotel in the last few years and this time, we brought our 3 younger kids. Will stay again here next time as we have been satisfied each time and don't need to search for anything else. Great Wi-Fi included and the breakfast is a nice self serve with much to offer of hot or cold food for a great start to your day. Staff has always been friendly and service is great.

We enjoyed the stay at this location. The staff, room and parking were above our expectations. Close to the Harbour and fishermans wharf. Both great places to walk to and have a meal. These were suggestions by hotel staff.

Just spent two nights at this hotel while visiting Victoria. Part of the draw was the free breakfast, which lives up to the saying: you get what you pay for. Definitely the worst complimentary breakfast I've ever had (1 star for the food). All of the hot food was dry, like it had been reheated and reserved as leftovers from the day before. If the free breakfast is what is drawing you to this hotel, don't do it! Now, onto the rest. The front desk staff is super friendly and accommodating (4 stars for service). The room was clean but average (2.5-3 stars). We paid for a king and got two queens instead. We had one comfy bed and one lumpy bed. Probably the best things about this hotel are that it's quiet and the jacuzzi and saunas are great and relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Not a particularly great value as one would expect of the Best Western.

I had to use up some airmiles so decided to take my fellow away for the weekend. I chose this hotel out of several offered because the reviews were good and I have to say well deserved. The room was bigger than I expected, the sofa and coffee table made for pleasant reading and the kitchen area....yup, kitchen...was nicely stocked with not only a fridge and microwave but also a stove and table with chairs. The bed was satisfactory, a bit soft for my liking but that's personal preference, the staff were friendly and attentive, the location great for us. I'd definitely return.

We found this hotel had exceptional staff with rooms much larger than expected. Kitchen facilities and balcony were unexpected additions but made our stay more enjoyable. Good variety and quality for breakfast. Proximity was good within walking distance to Empress Hotel , Fishermans Wharf and and the Town area. Tours to Bucchart Garden leave from close by.

We stayed a week here whilst on holiday. The room was lovely and spacious, well maintained, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included which was very tasty with a good selection. It was a shame the whirlpool was being refurbished during our stay but we managed without it. Would we stay again, most certainly. The staff were very pleasant and friendly and nothing was a bother for them.

Great hotel. Close to the legislature building. I walked over and went on a tour. The staff was friendly. I had a tough time finding a hotel that had in room movies so I gave up. But when I got here they do have a DVD player in the room and a bunch of movies you can borrow from front desk. I thought that was cool. I'll be back just for that reason. Underground parking. Balcony in my room. Right down town close to the water. Shower pressure is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clean room. Awesome place.

Very comfortable room. Centrally located to downtown Victoria. 2 blocks from BC Museum (must see!). Staff here is very attentive and helpful. Full hot breakfast which is one reason I chose this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights on Best Western and Air Miles reward points so expectations were low. We were treated like full paying guests, The desk staff were helpful and very friendly. Not like many when using points. We ill definitely return.

My wife, my son and I had a great first time at your ( BEST western ) hotel, and it won't be our last ! The staff were awesome , helpful and very courteous which made my family and I more relaxed ! I especially enjoyed the harbour lites at night from our room ! Did not have to travel far from our hotel to enjoy the points of interest . The breakfast was excellent as was the staff in the dining area ! Bravo for a relaxed and trouble free holiday , our room was clean and beautiful and at rates that made my day !! Friendly staff, clean comfortable room with a view of the Strait! The location is perfect for walking into town and the harbour front trails. We appreciated the many choices offered for breakfast- all fresh and well prepared. This continues to be our favorite hotel in Victoria.

If you are on budget as I was , great place to stay .Its walkable to Parliament House , Royal BC museum , Empress Hotel and marina ...Something which all tourists or visitors like to see .. Rooms are clean , breakfast complimentary , has spa pool .... Sound proofing is an issue and I noticed when it was night time ! Overall good !

I had a room over looking the pool, the park and could see the Black Ball ferry coming in and going out. Check-in was great, checked in early with no issue, I just want a parking pass so I could walk around. Room was very nice, and clean. Will defiantly stay here again.

We always come back to the Best Western Inner Harbour. Have tried other hotels in the area and have found that this property has all the amenities we need. Location,friendliness,and quality of what we need for our stay. The hotel is within walking distance to everything as far as restaurants and entertainment. Would always recommend this hotel even for long stays. Most rooms have kitchens as well as being really spacious.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while traveling around the island. We found the BW Plus to be very comfortable and clean. Our room had a small kitchenette, with a little table and chairs, oven and fridge. Also 2 balconies, both with seating! The bed was very comfortable! We both slept great. In the morning we enjoyed their great breakfast buffet. This location is perfect for walking to the Parliment Building, BC Museum, harbor and shopping. Plus the buses for attractions farther out. All the staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. And, we discovered an excellent pub next door at the Days Inn! Called the Belleville. Delicious food in a fun, pub atmosphere, overlooking the harbor.

The location seemed to be right at the heart of everything. The room was very nice; as it had a very large and comfortable king bed, sofa, and a small kitchen area with a table for two. And it had a balcony with a really good partial view of the harbor. The staff was very helpful and attentive, and I look forward to staying here again sometime.

The Best Western Inner Harbour hotel is a modern hotel close to downtown. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. At first I thought the room was a little small until I saw the separate kitchen alcove with a small breakfast table.

This hotel is so close to downtown and the waterfront /fisherman's wharf. About a 17 minute walk to the Odgen Point. It is less than a block away from the Parliament buildings and Embassy Hotel and downtown area. The rooms are comfortable , clean , and great views of the Harbour! Not overall expensive .. and a great complimentary breakfast . No dining area in this hotel , however restaurants are very close.

Very clean throughout the hotel. Attention to guests' requirements through well considered amenities and equipment. Ample space in the rooms, quiet and well appointed. Things matched in the kitchenette, and were clean. Everything one would need for a stay was provided. Appreciated the local newspapers and maps. The breakfast was well organized with friendly welcoming staff. Good choice of food items.

First impressions are important, and the front desk staff has their act together in that regard. We were warmly welcomed and found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and, since we didn't need to open the windows, reasonably quiet. Be aware of some a la carte pricing practices here that may seem a bit tacky. Parking in the gated underground garage is an additional $9, and should you wish full use of the kitchen in your room, there is an additional charge for that, too. Having the kitchen is a nice touch; locking the cupboards communicates something that management might not want to communicate. The hot breakfast was a disappointment. We stay frequently at BW Plus properties, and compared to others, this breakfast didn't measure up. For example, the potatoes were undercooked, the "omelettes" overcooked, and "hot" apparently meant "lukewarm" the day we were there. (Yes, even the coffee...) On the positive side, it was complimentary. So in summary, not too bad, but probably not good enough to guarantee brand loyalty the next time we're in town.

The location of this hotel is great really close to all the good stuff in the harbour. Bed was comfy and they had a fan in the closet which I was pumped about as I love sleeping with that sound. Breakfast everyday was good, and different everyday. Hot tub was nice and hot too bad it want outside. No room service which was one of the only thing we would of liked the one day. Overall worked great for what we needed it for

We loved the hotel, it is in the center of all the activities, has a wonderful breakfast and great rooms and walking to anything is not far.The staff is very helpful and will recommend good restaurants which are within walking distance.

This being out first visit at this hotel, sight unseen...we were super pleased seniors:) Having the little kitchenette nook in our room was a bonus and so appreciated. I was not aware we would have this when I booked it. Beds were comfortable and so clean. I was even able to do our laundry before flying home to New Brunswick!! There were no staff members without a smile on their face, used kind words to each other and to us, told us to have a safe trip home and thanked us for our stay with them! There were no problems with the price we had been quoted! No surprises!!

Found this hotel to be perfectly placed for walking to the Empress Hotel and downtown. Not a great view, and unfortunately the City decided to dig up the road right behind us but the staff were nice, the room was very comfortable with a balcony. We enjoyed our stay, a little pricey but that's Victoria!

We stayed four nights at the BW Inner Harbour Hotel, just after the Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday. We were not disappointed. Our room was actually a studio suite which had a small kitchen area. In addition, there is a large balcony attached to all of the studio suites. Without question, we found the cleanliness of our room to be second to none, and we travel extensively throughout North America. There is also a full complimentary breakfast each morning. Be sure to arrive early as the breakfast room can become quite crowded. Underground parking is also available for $9.00 per day. I would recommend that all patrons, travelling by car, avail themselves of this facility. In total, we have no hesitation in recommending the Best Western Inner Harbour, Victoria, British Columbia.

The location is great, just minutes from the harbour, Parliament buildings, Royal BC Museum, and the Empress Hotel. Rooms, however, are just average, with very small bathrooms. Breakfast wasn't that great either. One day there were no vegetarian options among the hot items except for some weird, extremely salty potato fritters. The other day there were scrambled eggs and hash browns. While I appreciate the fact that they were trying to offer some kind of variety, they should be aware that there are quite a few people nowadays who don't eat meat, and offer more vegetarian options. Staff was nice but couldn't help much when the printer connected to the guest computer in the lobby wouldn't print. Considering the high room rates, I was a bit disappointed in what I received for my dollars.

I usually avoid to stay at Best Western due to previous bad experience, but I read a lot of comment on this hotel, and seems this PLUS version is better than standard one. Location is quite good as all tourist spots are within walking distance from the hotel, as the downtown is quite small at Victoria. The hotel itself is like those typical Amercian style, with a bit old fashioned; but the room is large enough with a balcony and a kitchen (however they will charge you if you fully use the kitchen, haha). If you stay at a higher floor, you may have a harbor view to enjoy. The hotel offers car park with a charge, but you may enjoy free over night parking just outside the hotel (till 9 am in the morning). The hotel is value for money, especially the room rate is including the breakfast, although the selection is hardly compare with those in Asia. In North Amercia, you just have to manage your expectation.

We arrived in Victoria via the Victoria Clipper from Seattle. I researched hotels in the harbor area of Victoria and wanted one very close since we planned on walking there with our luggage. There is no shortage of hotels around the harbor; we just had to find one in our price range. The Best Western Harbour was an excellent choice for us. It is just one block from the pier! And the price was one of the best in that prime sightseeing area. They serve a buffet breakfast which had quite a good selection. Of course, the breakfast can't be compared to a made-to-order restaurant meal, but it was one less meal we had to buy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms and breakfast area were spotless. And the bed was very comfy. Our 2 nights there were wonderful. We will stay here again.

The Inner Harbor B/W is a great location. It's right next to the Parliament Buildings, and as the name implies, is located in the Inner Harbor area of Victoria. It's within walking distance of the many great points of interest as well as shopping. The hotel has recently gone through renovations which have made it quite attractive, rooms are comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Although the only food/beverage service available is a complimentary breakfast, it's more than acceptable. Plenty of other restaurants and lounges around so that it's not an inconvenience to have to walk. For the downtown/inner harbor area of Victoria, the rates are very reasonable.

Booked a 3 night stay here while visiting Victoria. We decided based largely on reviews read here. I was somewhat disappointed in this stay. The location is good, no doubt, but there were several little things that to me were negatives. First, and I knew this already when we booked... they have no AC. The room does have a fan, and usually the weather is cool....but we did have some 70 degree days that warmed it up a bit. My thought is for what you are paying, I am surprised there is no AC. Second, the room had a small kitchen area with a small fridge. The thing that surprised me is there was a sign that said if you use the kitchenette, you will be charged a $15 cleaning fee for the stay. Really? We didn't plan on using it anyways, but seems ticky tacky to me. Third, there are only ice machines and snack/soda machines in the hotel...one on the first floor and one on the 5th I believe. The first floor soda machine was sold out of everything. If your only gonna have two machines, shouldn't you at least try to keep them stocked? Fourth, the breakfast provided was not good. There was the typical cold selections, along with a pancake making machine I had never seen before (they looked better then they tasted) and most mornings some eggs that looked like they came from a box, greasy bacon, and some sort of potato. Even worse, the eggs, bacon, etc were always luke warm at best. We were traveling for two weeks, and this breakfast was by far the worst we had. As mentioned, these items were not big in themselves, but overall no what you would expect for paying $200+ per night. I would spend a few extra $$ and stay elsewhere if it was me.

Location was great for exploring the inner harbour and downtown area. We were able to walk everywhere, including the Fisherman's Wharf and Ogden Point breakwater. Rooms were quiet and very clean. Parking was available in the parkade below the hotel but there was an extra cost per night. Breakfast was included with the cost of the room. All basic options were there. They did offer eggs, sausage and potatoes but they were not great!

We stayed for 2 nights in September whilst travelling in Canada and unfortunately it was by far the worst hotel we stayed at. The car park roof is incredibly low and we were worried about the hire car roof being damaged. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived and the receptionist said she'd call when it was ready, not a problem we left our luggage and went to explore. We never received a call. Our garden room was on the ground floor at the front of the hotel , there was no garden just a few plants and then the car park which meant we couldn't use our balcony. We asked if we could change rooms but were told we couldn't. The room was very noisy from the car park/street and guests using the lifts. It was dark and desperately in need of decorating. We tried breakfast the first morning but there was very little food available, it wasn't very nice, it was very busy and the staff were really grumpy. It is within walking distance of the town centre but so were many other hotels.

The location is very close to the Parliament building (2 minute walk). The hotel is easy to spot and it's surrounded by other hotel chains. Check-in and check-out went through smoothly. They charge $9 per night for the parking, and you can go in and out as many times during the day. Their carpark is a bit low, but our Ford Explorer was still able to park, even in P2. The rooms were great. We got 2 queen beds, and it even has a small kitchenette and dining table inside. The beds weren't as comfortable as the other hotels we've been to, but it's still good. We got free breakfast with our room, and it was quite busy in the morning. Overall, we would recommend this hotel for its price and proximity to the major sights in Victoria.

Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We had a corner suite with a king size bed, a comfortable couch, a separate kitchenette and 2 balconies. The location was great and since we were there for 3 nights, it provided a good base for walking to most of the local attractions. Underground parking was convenient and available for our (rental) car at $9 a night. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Good service,we stayed for two days.In september just missed the royals.the breakfast was good Excellent,room great.Just one thing we notice was behind sofa lots of dust. Otherwise we had a great stay Will return.

Maybe we were lucky but we were given an end room on the 7th floor. We were above the trees and had a great view of the harbor. We were above any street noise. We were close to the Clipper terminal. There were many good restaurants within walking distance. Many of the sites we wanted to see were within walking distance. Definitely would stay again.

We enjoyed the view from our 7th floor balcony. Close to the harbour and surrounding points of interest. We walked to the Empress and downtown area along the waterfront - wonderful floral displays and vintage buildings.

Our room had two very comfortable beds, a small but complete kitchen (at $15 per stay additional) and a lovely balcony with table and chairs outside. My only complaint would be no on-demand tv available and the room was quite stuffy; there was no cooling in the room and we had to use a desktop fan. Staff was very pleasant and friendly.

Our main reason for choosing this hotel was its location relative to the "Clipper Terminal", which we intended to use. Although the reception/lounge area provides only modest space our arrival was efficient, friendly and welcoming. We had stopped by to drop off bags before returning our hire car and this was no problem despite being before check in time and our room not yet available. Our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the road but did not suffer from any intrusive vehicle noise. The room facilities were excellent but be aware that if you take advantage of the full kitchen equipment there is a C$15 additional charge for cleaning. Most of the main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance, adding to the hotels convenience. Breakfast although was adequate and had the benefit of being served early, I noted a number of local alternatives opened much later. We could not fault this hotel and the pleasant staff ensures that we will use it again on our next visit.

We had a room on the 6th floor with a lovely large balconey .The views were fabulous! The compact kitchen was perfect , even included a teapot! Extremely comfortable beds. The included breakfast was varied each day and it was so nice to be able to take a tray back to our room and enjoy the view from the balcony. All of the staff--front desk, breakfast room, housekeeping-- were friendly, helpful and very professional!! Underground parking was clean, well lit and reasonably priced. We were so happy with our accommodations while enjoying our too short stay in beautiful Victoria! We have already recommended this hotel!

This hotel is a little pricier than I was expecting, but that's a truth of the location rather than the hotel itself. All of the hotels in the area are priced at a premium compared to other locations. This hotel is very well equipped. The room was beautiful, had excellent facilities, and a gorgeous view of the harbour. The hotel's common areas were furnished with quality and comfort anywhere you looked. Some areas are a little dated. For example, the "Greek theme" of the hot tub/sauna/steam room area looked like it came from the mid-to-late '90s. The pool was a touch on the small side, but that's not really a big problem. Location-wise, you're just a block from the British Columbia Parliament building, so walking to amenities is extremely easy. There are a wide selection of restaurants, shops, sightseeing, etc. all within a very reasonable walking distance. Traffic is abundant, so perhaps walking is even better than driving in this area. I'll also give a special shout-out to the staff, and especially the front-desk staff. They were all very pleasant and very helpful at all times. It definitely shows that this hotel puts a high value on guest service.

The Best Western Inner Harbour is located right across the road from Victoria Harbour and within walking distance of many restaurants. Although you will pay extra to stay in this location the view from the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are a bit small but do have a kitchenette and patio and the beds are of the softer type and are very comfortable. Breakfast could use some improvement as the eggs, bagels and sausage were dry and the pancakes really didn't taste like pancakes. The hotel has secure underground parking available for an extra charge. I would recommend using it as there are many homeless in the area around the harbour.

Very nice, clean and well kept hotel. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the harbor. It's nice having a large patio and window that opens. Walking distance to museum and harbor. The breakfast at Best Western is always a plus. Liked the automatic pancake maker!

This hotel is a very good place to stay. We have stayed here a few times and we are always happy with hotel. The included breakfast is a typical breakfast for this hotel. There waffles hot eggs sausages breads yogurts cereals juice coffee etc. This hotel is a 5 min walk to the imax theatre and the legislature buildings. The ferry to Port is less than 5 minute walk. The Victoria Clipper which is a people only boat that takes you to pier 69 in Seattle is also less that 5 minutes from hotel. There are many restaurants within 10-20 minute walk from this hotel. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable and willing to help you out.

The hotel is good and the staff are great. The premises and rooms are quite clean but the hotel is older. The best factor is its location to everything you want to see in Victoria. Everywhere we wanted to go was within a half hour walk or less. This is the main reason I didn't just give them an average rating. I feel for the age of the building and amenities the prices are a bit high.

Room was comfortable with a small kitchen and a balcony to sit and enjoy our morning coffee. There was a heated pool & hot tub. Breakfast offered a nice selection. Every member of the staff was great - helpful, friendly & professional. The Hotel is centrally located and a comfortable walk to Victoria attractions, shopping and restaurants.

My girlfriends and I stayed two nights. We found the room very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and the surprise was their refreshing pool set in a beautiful, colorful and private garden. The location was excellent, within walking distance of the inner harbor, museums and shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd left a couple items in the room and they promptly arranged to mail them to me.

This is a great hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. The location is great for a visit to Victoria, close to all the great attractions. Try to get the 7th floor if you want a view of the Harbor. It isn't that important though as you are only one block away. I'll return to this Hotel.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our August 1, 2016 reservation and did so a full two days in advance. We thought all was well until I noticed my credit card was billed for the full amount despite my cancellation within the official cancellation window. I don't know what the problem was—employee error or a computer glitch—but I was billed. Mistakes happen but what separates good hotels from the bad is how customer service fixes such issues. I called Best Western Customer Service and got zero help so I emailed BEST WESTERN Plus Inner Harbour through their corporate system. Sadly, I didn't receive a reply--not even a form letter--so, after a couple weeks, called my credit card company to complain of dishonest billing and to dispute the charges. Needless to say, I won't be staying at BEST WESTERN Plus Inner Harbour again.

This was our first visit to Victoria and we chose a Best Western because of our great experience with others in the chain. On arrival we were greeted by Lee and checked in quickly and efficiently and made to feel very welcome. The room was great and had everything we needed including a fridge which we find very useful. The breakfasts were complimentary and were good, the staff assisting were so friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony, as did most others I think, and we sat out and soaked up the sun while enjoying our beverages and watching the world go by. Underground parking was good to have although exploring Victoria did not need a car as we were so close to everything, being right by the harbour. We were given excellent advice by the staff as to where to get good, reasonably priced evening meals. Our stay was most enjoyable and we will definitely be staying there again when we next visit Victoria.

This has all the amentities you would expect in a smaller property (compared to some those nearby) a block off the harbour. We booked a King room 'residential view' and wound up with a kitchenette on a corner with windows and balcony's on two sides. The property is well maintained and the room was appealing with golden hued wallpaper and drapery. The only slight disadvantage is a lack of in-house restaurant, but with the selection of places to eat nearby, you would have to be mired in work and unable to spend an hour or so and walk to one of many nearby eateries.

This was our second time here and it is perfect! The location cannot be beat..and the staff are so nice and helpful. I would not stay anywhere else. If you can, get a room overlooking the harbor. You can drive in park and never get in your car again if you want. Everything is in walking distance. If you like you can walk on the ferry and this hotel is about 3 blocks from the terminal...easy walk! I can't say enough good things about this place!!!

We stayed at the Best Western Plus on our way home from our road trip honeymoon to Canada. Location was perfect, close to waterfront, and tourist attractions, etc. We only stay one night and we hope to come back so we have time to visit the Butchart Gardens. Parking is only $9 per night, so that was great. We booked a garden view room and it was a nice sized room with a small kitchen and even a bit of a water view. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family. It was very clean!

Stayed 2 nights with family and booked two rooms. One bed suite and one king bed. Nice comfy hotel. Nice amenities in rooms including bathrobes. Bathrooms are a bit outdated. The suite had a huge living room and the kitchen. Staff was friendly. However hotel is not air conditioned. Luckily that was not an issue as there were fans in the rooms and the weather was quite pleasant. Breakfast was just average. Overall the stay was enjoyable

We were there for 4 nights recently and the room was very nice, clean, and had a nice balcony. Would have loved one facing the harbor, but those rooms were taken. It was so near the harbor we walked there with our luggage from the ferry. Just over a block away. The bed was the most comfortable bed as were the pillows. The room had a full kitchen but if you cooked in it there was an additional cost. Everyone at the front desk was really helpful, from recommending restaurants to cheerfully calling cabs for us. We were very pleased. I would stay there again.

Very close to down town activities, within walking distance to harbor and docks. Great place to be located if you want to just park your vehicle and walk. But be careful of the parking garage. Low ceiling height. Only 6'6" on the first level, even lower after that and very tight. Not a good place for a pickup truck.

Loved this hotel. I have stayed in four hotels in the Inner Harbor and Best Western Plus is best! Great location close to Victoria Clipper, Coho,and easy walk to all the attractions and charm of Victoria. The beds are comfortable. We had a small kitchen. We walked to a store for snacks a few blocks away plus a wine store next door! Nice breakfast each morning. We will definitely stay here again! The staff is very helpful which made our stay pleasant.

The hotel is central to the harbour and sightseeing. We were warmly welcomed and found our room very comfortable and quiet. Parking in the secure garage is also very reasonable. The complementary breakfast was excellent.

Made a reservation sept. 7 for October 8 checking out October 9th. The customer service rep booked us in for sept. 8 checking out sept. 9. Imagine my surprise to get an online survey to ask how our stay went. According to the rep I spoke with today they did not make a mistake but we did. We were charged for the room and zero chance of reimbursement. Considering that we were asked to join the rewards plan, I would think the customer is right and best western would make an effort to keep us happy. I will suck this one up but will never stay at this chain ever, ever again. I'm pretty sure the mistake was on their part but it's my word against theirs. I even repeated the days of the person who booked. This is not a good way to keep loyalty in customers.

The location was great - near to everything but on a quiet street. Close to restaurants, shopping and in a very "walkable" area. We took the bus into Victoria from the ferry and were able to walk to the hotel from the terminal. The room was very comfortable and had a kitchen with fridge, stove, pots and pan if you want to cook (small fee for full use of kitchen). The staff were friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions of where to eat. The little breakfast room (free breakfast is included with room booking) was handy and the variety of food was fine. I enjoyed being able to go for breakfast without having to leave the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for a comfortable hotel with a reasonable rate then I would recommend this Best Western Plus Inner Harbour Hotel.

My 3-night stay at the BW Inner Harbor Hotel was perfect for me. Room was extremely clean, bed and linens great. Had all the amenities I wanted. I had reserved the room early and I got a 7th floor room with balcony with a wonderful harbor view. Couldn't have been any nicer. Location is great. I could walk everywhere. I'm a senior woman who spent 3 nights in Victoria prior to joining a tour. I felt safe at all times, even walking around the harbor at night enjoying the city lights. I'd stay at the same place if I visit Victoria again.

This not our first time here ,we have stayed 4 other times and the reason is, it is a great location, the rooms are awsome and they have a good breakfast, The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I think the value to have breakfast included is well worth it. it is a short walk to the inner harbour and all the attractions. we will return and possibly try for a room on the seventh floor facing the inner harbour, this time they gave us a room on the side so we could see part of it and wanted more.

Great location within walking distance of most everything. (for those who don't know the gardens are about 15 miles out of town). But, other than the gardens, this is a perfect location nd a great value.

We needed a hotel close to the ferry terminal as we dropped the truck off in the line up the night before our voyage. That meant walking to the terminal at 4:30 the next morning. All hotels in this location are more expensive but for the price of a room across the street we got a suite at the BW. Very nicely decorated and well laid out all it was missing was air conditioning. The fans kept us cool though and not many of the hotels in Victoria have a/c. The staff were great and the terminal was a short block away!

Another extremely enjoyable visit. This is a very well run hotel with splendid rooms. Some, like ours on the seventh floor, have a great view over the Inner Harbour. The breakfast room has improved with each visit and now offers a good choice of hot &/or continental breakfasts with plenty of extras. There is plentiful, secure parking along with a very nice outdoor pool and spa area.

Enjoyed our stay here and would come back. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They even had umbrellas by the front door to use which came in handy. The free breakfast was good with many choices. The heated pool was great! Really warm. Also enjoyed the hot tub. The hotel is very clean and pretty, also a good value. Within walking distance of all the local attractions, we never had to rent a car. Nothing bad to say about it!

We just had to park our car and did not have to move it as everything we wanted to see: Museum, IMAX, Parliament Buildings and restaurants were within walking distance from the Best Western. Thus, my husband who is the driver also enjoyed his holiday.

We stayed at the BW Plus Inner Harbour for two nights, but wished we had booked for longer. We specifically booked this hotel for its location, amenities (specifically the pool) and the complimentary breakfast. This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to many sights and activities. Our room was on the second floor facing the park. At first I was concerned about noise as I usually like to be on a higher floor, but the room was extremely quiet. The room was quite warm if the sliding glass door was closed as we were experiencing a heat wave in Victoria while we were there. However, if the sliding door was open, the room would quickly cool down from the breezes. The kids loved swimming in the outdoor pool. There is also a hot tub, steam room and sauna. There was a good variety at breakfast, and we had no problem each morning finding a table, even during their peak breakfast hours. Parking was in a secure underground lot and cost only $9 (which I thought was well priced considering that we were downtown). The front desk, housekeeping and breakfast attendants that we interacted with were all friendly, professional and courteous. On the morning of check-out, we were able to leave our car parked in the underground for a few hours as we were going to walk over to the Royal BC Museum. We definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again on our next visit!

The staff at Best Western Inner Harbour, Victoria, BC made this trip all the better. They were friendly, patient and very courteous. The facilities were clean and relatively up to date. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Victoria, BC because we stayed here. Needless to say, the location was a bonus. Thank you!!!

Located close to the action - the BC Museum with IMAX, the harbor, the legislature and other attractions. We stayed in a newly refurbished suite. The room was clean and nice, parking was underground and secure, reasonable exercise room, steam room, outdoor and dry sauna complimented our stay. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was excellent!

My daughter and I stayed for one night after driving the east coast from a ferry landing. Parking was convenient and safe in the underground garage. Breakfast was tasty. The only downside of this hotel in the midst of summer is the lack of air conditioning during a humid week. There was an oscillating fan in the room on the desk in front of the beds, and it was barely sufficient for cooling. For greatest comfort, I would suggest staying at this nice location in other than humid months. I would definitely visit again in another season.

This was a great hotel in a great location to the inner harbor area. The room was clean and bright, plus we were pleasantly surprised by a nice breakfast included. They have a washer and dryer there and a nice informative staff. We walked to inner harbor within 15 minutes and you can pick up transportation there.

Our family of four stayed here for one night. This hotel is so well situated, right in the Inner Harbour so within walking distance of the harbour, Fisherman's Wharf, The Empress Hotel and Parliament. The free breakfast is amazing with a huge selection of eggs, bacon, breads, bagels, pancakes, muffins and much more. It gets busy so we had to wait 5 minutes for a table for our family. We had an issue with our room with a clogged bathroom sink, no body lotion in the canister, shampoo not coming out of dispenser and patio door that wouldn't close. The customer service was amazing with the person at the front desk coming to unclog our sink at 10pm and the manager adjusting our bill in consequence. It showed that they care about their guests. Would recommend this hotel.

From the front desk to the cleaning staff the hotel is very clean and well kept. I have stayed here every year for the past three years and will again. It is within walking distance to so many attractions but is very quiet.

When in Victoria this is the best place to stay. You can walk easily anywhere downtown, close to many restaurants and right on the inner harbour. The free breakfast is a wonderful bonus. The staff are very pleasant and happy. We just couldn't see ourselves staying anywhere else.

We always stay at BW when there is one at our destination. This one in Victoria BC was wonderful. Great beds and amazing staff. Breakfast room had a pancake machine! Just one block from the ferry with a great view of The Empress Hotel and the harbor.

Spent a few days during the week here. No a/c but the breezy nature of Victoria made it a non issue. Beautiful rooms and amenities. Close to everthing you want to see and if not a harbour taxi awaits across the road. Enjoyed ourselves immensely. Will be returning as soon as we can :)

We traveled to Victoria for the weekend with our adult daughter. Booked Deluxe Studio with Two Queen beds, Park View, with balcony. We were very happy with the size of the room (#409) and the balcony and the location near the Parliament, fisherman's wharf, and inner harbor. Enjoyed two good dinners at Bard and Banker and Pagliaccis and a fun lunch at Spinnakers. We were traveling from Bellingham so took the Tsawwassen -Schwartz Bay ferry, very easy and recommend advance reservations. Able to see Butchart Gardens the last day before catching the ferry.

Front desk personnel were great and friendly! The hotel is located in a covenient part of the town to all attractions and the ferry system. Rooms are just the right size for four people. There was no air conditioner, but the natural air when you open your window and sliding door was way better than the autofficial air. Beds were comfortable and rooms and bathrooms were clean. There were a variety of items to choose from the free breakfast offered; go early as the seats are filled by 0800. They had eggs, potatoes, meats, oatmeal, pancake, muffins, toast, fresh fruits, yogurt, coffee, juices, hot chocolate, etc. The hotel's parking was reasonable as well if you have a car, but one would not need a car in Victoria. I will stay here again on my next visit to Victoria.

We celebrated our anniversary here. Great location for walking. Streets were closed for the BC day holiday, making our one cab ride difficult. Good value. Free breakfast included fresh fruit salad. Pancake maker was broken. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We'll come back next year!!
