Best Western Vicksburg

There are plusses and minuses to this hotel. On the plus side, the location is good. Close to the Battlefield and historic downtown Vicksburg. Staff was helpful and friendly and made a very good suggestion for dinner The room was nice but here come the minuses. The in room phone did not work. The clock radio did not work. The printer did not work. A toilet annoyance problem was not taken care of. The breakfast area was well maintained and the food consisted of typical hotel choices. These may all seem to be minor matters, but they point to an overall lack of attention to maintenance and prevent me from giving it the higher rating that most Best Western locations receive.

A nice clean room with comfortable beds. Outside entrance to the room was a plus. Breakfast was good. Bacon, eggs, biscuit, gravy, and lots more. Quick and easy check in. Nice staff. No complaints at all. We will stay again when in the area...

This hotel managed by Mrs Trina Brown is fantastic. We checked in with Shelley, a kind and professional person. The room as always very clean. Great bed. Everything worked, a great, huge television to watch the Super Bowl. The breakfast has always been spectacular at this hotel and continues to be . Bacon, biscuit and gravy, eggs, bread, yogurt, etc. Safe place ,quiet. Thank you everyone for a great stay again. Stay here. ​

Bad bad bad. You can't complain to the hotel ( it's a motel) about anything because it goes to the person who was the problem. We just won't ever stay here again. Thank you Trina for educating me. It was an eye opener. I have never been treated that way as a platinum member. But it's all good. There are plenty of other nice hotels in the area.

Spent 3 nights. Staff very helpful. Great location and access to the area. Room was considered accessible but required big step to get in to tub. Bed very comfortable. DirectTV with lots of channels. Would stay here again.

I always stay at the Best Western Vicksburg whenever I am on a trip in that area ... because it lives up to it's name : It is the BEST ! For my stay last week ... I called in my reservation. Peggy answered, and found "just the right room for my Wife and I." She was very friendly and informative ... and was very professional. When we arrived ... Jimmy was as helpful and warm as he has always been -- for the last MANY years ... and he helped us get settled in. The next morning ... we renewed our Friendship with Trina Brown, the Manager who makes everything run like a well oiled machine ! The Breakfast was GREAT -- don't miss it -- and it offered so many options that everyone in your family will be completely satisfied. As we checked out ... Trina gave us some info and tips about the route we were taking ... and thanked us for coming back and back and back. We left ... relaxed, happy, and FULL !

This is the friendliest Best Western that we have visited. The General Manager, herself, checked us in and she is wonderful. The room was clean. The bed comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The GM told us that they cook the breakfast each day. The were quite a few options of food. We will always stay here when traveling through Vicksburg.

This was a good motel. The room was clean and had all the basic things needed. The room was fairly large so we had plenty of room. It was set back from the highway, so noise was not a problem. I though the breakfast provided was excellent. It was real hot food cooked on the premises, including biscuits. I liked that the rooms opened up to the outside. The only problem we had was the TV did not work well (DirectTV) and the wifi was slow from our room.

My first time stay here made me decide this will be my "go to" hotel when in Vicksburg. The price is reasonable, the service is personal and friendly. The rooms are well kept/clean and Trina is a rock star of a manager. Definitely a great choice when staying in Vicksburg.

Well appointed and fresh smelling room. Overall the rooms location enabled a quiet stay which is important to me. Breakfast choices were good and were topped up frequently. My first choice when visiting Vicksburg.

We were so surprised at all they had here. It's hard to judge by pictures. They had a pool, hot breakfast, and a large parking lot, perfect for Trailers or RVs. It was nice a quiet, tucked back away from the business of the highway. We would give it a 10/10 and stay again!

My wife and I spend 2 nights here on our way to Florida and back along with our dog, Rocky. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was wonderful and they are very pet friendly. The breakfast was way above the typical motel breakfast.

Just what one expects at a BW … clean, comfortable room and courteous desk clerk, even though I was a late arrival. Weird shower fixture, so much that an explanation of how to operate it is part of the check-in process. Cleaning staff gets an early start in the morning. Rumbling carts outside my room woke me up and the maid accidentally came into my room unannounced while I was dressing … but mistakes do happen.

We stopped here on our way home from vacation based on TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. It is not in the plus of the best western series but it should be. It is a motel type hotel, but nothing else about this is motel. The rooms are top-notch! Even the windows are clean. Breakfast was over and beyond. Real eggs, sausage, and chicken fried chicken. Absolutely top-notch kitchen staff and front desk staff. Don't let the outside style and location stop you from coming here.

This was a very enjoyable stay, the start was all very friendly and courteous, the breakfast was the best one we have ever had and we travel a lot and the. Manage was very helpful with all the questions we had . Thank you for a great stay

Room was big, clean and quiet. Carried a full breakfast (not the "breakfast item" so many others carry). Comfortable bed and great pillows. Friendly, helpful staff. Every amenity in the room worked. Extra towels cheerfully provided.

Excellent motel. Nice welcome, the room is very comfortable, clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable and bathroom clean. A Swimming pool is available. Breakfast was good, no much choice, but from 6 to 9 am is very convenient. Excellent value for money.

Best Western Vicksburg is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is friendly and caring. The rooms are clean spacious and quiet. The breakfast was better than a trip to IHOP and included delicious made from scratch biscuits! I highly recommend Best Western, Vicksburg.

A one night stay here was very comfortable and pleasant. Noise was minimal, bed was comfortable, breakfast was plentiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool not heated. A great stay for our pass through evening.

We stayed one night on our way through Vicksburg. The location is convenient-right off I-10, yet our room was very quiet (no highway noise). The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was the BEST ever (chicken fried steak, sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc.!!!)

A special chapter first: Mrs Trina Brown, Manager, Navy Veteran, what a special person, nice and friendly. Always with a smile, and taking care of all the details of this hotel with his team, to keep it clean and working My experience was very good. My room was clean, the shower worked great, excellent air conditioning, and the breakfast was wonderful. It was a buffet that had something to please everyone: eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles and the usual, rolls, yogurt., etc. Safe place,quiet It's my second time at this hotel and it will always be my choice. Thanks Mrs Brown for everything.

Clean and affordable, would stay again. Not pristine, but clean. Beds snd pillows were good. Fixtures were dated. Typical of most lodging post covid, provided minimum towels. Quality inn must have found bargain on towels as we found newer fluffy towels in several Quality Inns. Lodging was commensurate with price. One BIG bonus is Culley's BBQ adjacent to parking lot. Best BBQ.

We were happy with our one night stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The AC worked great! My husband enjoyed the breakfast. My only small complaint was the location of the ice machine. The area was a little too dark and spooky. We would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Everything about our brief, one-night stay was first-rate. The hotel is slightly elevated and set back away from the highway. It feels like a little secluded, retreat spot. The area felt safe. Our room was spacious, comfortable, attractive and clean. We had a great night's sleep. And best of all--the desk clerk who checked us in was absolutely the best. She was kind and she really helped us. I regret that I don't remember her name, but she was on duty about 7PM on 9/28/22. If we're ever back through Vicksburg again, we will definitely come back to the Best Western.

This hotel has a terrific staff. Everything was clean and in working order. There was a full selection of breakfast items, all expertly prepared. Salt-water pool was very soothing after a long day on the road.

What more can I say. I was surprised it was a drive up motel but pleasantly surprised when I got to my ground floor room. Very clean and well maintained. I was traveling with my dog and there was a $20 charge. Which is very reasonable compared to many others.

The manager and lady at front desk were very welcoming. The breakfast was hot and had different items on each day. Had a variety of choices to choose from. Wi-fi was fast and stayed consistent. Room was very clean. Only problem we had with out stay was a couple of men that were construction crew that wanted to slam doors and kept beeping the alarm to their vehicles.

This is an older property that has been updated with everything you need. Our room was spacious, nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast offerings were similar to other hotels in this category, but the difference was in the quality. You know how the biscuits at the breakfast buffet are often dry and tasteless? Not here! They were soft, buttery, and delicious. Another standout was the sweet lady who checked us in on the afternoon of Aug. 22. She was so kind and welcoming. I recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Vicksburg.

The stay was great BUT I'm told that I booked through reservations.com and not Best Western ALTHOUGH I called the number on the beat Westeen website. So I'm told me 179.00 stay will not count for points be aide I didn't book directly with them! That is not on at all!! We stay here every time we come through Ms and I now have a direct number to this hotel…which you cannot get from their website! Very stupid. Other than that it was a nice stay. Nice breakfast buffet in the am. The people are always nice here. Just be sure to call the hotel directly when booking!!

I chose this property bcuz I really thought it was close to the casinos. It showed a couple of miles but it was more like 5 or 6 miles distance. Other than that, I will not complain about the hotel itself.

The room was comfortable, clean & quiet. We have paid a lot more for rooms that were not as good as this one. The staff was very friendly. The best part of this was the free breakfast. The clerk had said to be sure to have their breakfast, so glad we did.

Convenient location, clean room, comfortable bed and hot breakfast. They welcome pets but no dog friendly walking area. The property is on a hill so be aware if you want to walk your pet, it is steep. All in all it was a good visit and I would recommend espy if you are traveling on I20

The staff was friendly and helpful. The manager helped me satisfactorily in fixing a billing issue. The breakfast was hot and well prepared. The breakfast selections were changed up some every day with a variety of choices.The room was comfortable and clean.

Air conditioner never cooled the room. The only cool place was right in front of the AC. Complained in the morning because we knew it would be fruitless to do so that night since there were no more rooms available. Front desk didn't seemed too concerned. I feel that an adjustment should have been made under the circumstances. The lady at the check in was quite nice, though. She even apologized for not having any 1st floor rooms but showed us the shortest set of stairs and put us right next to the stairs.

OK for a stopover hotel. Website says heated pool. It was so cold I only stayed in for a few minutes. If staying on the upper floor there is no elevator. Breakfast was the usual for this type of accommodation, namely juices, cereals, a hot selection as well as bagels and coffee, as expected.

Be sure to look for additional charges on your credit card. When doing payroll i found an additional unexpected charge. I called but the manager wasn't in. So i left my number for her to call back the next day. She did call back and accused me of stealing a pillow. I explained to her i did not steal a pillow and possibly the room was one short when i check in. I explained im a diamond member with bestwestern and stay there all the time and i have never been accused if stealing. I also wanted to know why they didn't call or email me about this. She said i was a thief and she had no doubt i stole a pillow, then i heard music like i was on hold. A few seconds later she returned. She said she removed the charge and told me to keep the pillow,and again called me a thief. She is extremely rude and unpleasant person. I will never stay there again.

The really friendly staff helped us find a local restaurant with delicious food. This hotel has large cleanl rooms. Good variety of breakfast options. Easy to locate hotel and get into the large parking lot.

Friendly desk staff. Rooms had a decent amount of space and were clean. Motel style with stairs and room doors along an exterior hallway. Breakfast was ok - not very healthy options but typical. The breakfast room was super crowded and the worker in the room was trying her best to keep up. Felt it was overpriced for an average Best Western. Short drive to Vicksburg National Park.

This was our first time staying at the Best Western in Vicksburg. And we were extremely pleased and pleasantly surprised at the comfort, service and breakfast. I think we've found a new home when traveling through this area.

This hotel is not fancy, but it has everything you need. It is clean, comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Great selection with excellent potatoes made with sausage, onions, and green peppers. Perfect for a stop over when travelling through town.

Check in was great. The desk clerk should be on Comedy Central as she made us laugh with great stories! The room was better than pics advertised, very clean, with quality, updated furnishings (eg. USB ports and outlets on lamps). Even landscaping was well cared for. The full breakfast was outstanding…mini waffles, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links and grits. Fruit was fresh also. Room was quiet, cool and comfortable for a restful night.

Would stay again; would recommend if looking for affordable place is Vicksburg, MS. Greeted every time I entered the lobby. Enjoyed the free breakfast and friendly staff. Only wish was hoping pool was heated.

The room itself is a regular hotel room, but the people were fantastic! Every single employee we ran across was friendly and eager to help. The breakfast was really good- scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, muffins, bagels, etc.

We stayed at a few hotels already and this one wins for the best. Nice and clean and surprisingly comfortable. I mean really comfortable, so much that I might consider more future stays with BW. Great location, nice and close to everything and easy to find with friendly staff. Also the reason we chose this one was for its smoking rooms, so a real win. Recommend this hotel and we would stay here again for sure.

My wife and I stayed here for our trip to enjoy the Vicksburg NMP and local area. Upon arrival the grounds were tidy and obviously being maintained well. The front desk staff had taken the time to read my BW profile and my room was exactly as requested, two card keys were ready and my check in was fast and seamless. The room was very clean and I had zero concerns. The bed was comfortable and the location is well away from the freeway so noise was not an issue even with a room facing the frontage road and freeway. The staff here is friendly and happy. From maintenance to housekeeping to the breakfast crew and front desk, everyone was in a good mood and appeared to be happy to be working here. Helpful and courteous at all times. My wife and I stayed two nights and enjoyed our time in Vicksburg and at the BW here. The location is quite convenient to the NMP and a short trip to downtown. Fair warning, very little is open in downtown Vicksburg on a Monday! Plan on eating somewhere else.

This Best Western is located high on a hill well back from the highway. It was very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the A/C compressor was on the fritz. It was late by the time we realized it wasn't cooling, but we felt able to tolerate the heat, so we stayed. We mentioned the problem to a maintenance man the next morning and he said they'd replace it that day. When we checked out, they were already aware of the problem and gave us a nice discount before we could even bring it up.

Date of our stay was 03/24. Clean, comfortable and convenient, this BW is close to everything. I'm a smoker so I always look for hotels that offer smoking rooms and BW has more of them than any other chain. Nonsmokers needn't worry because all smoking rooms are at one end of the hotel. We would stay here again and recommend.

Nice hotel. Great people. A little pricey, but I will still satisfied. Breakfast needs to be kept hot. Had to use microwave to heat it up. Front desk and housekeeping were very pleasant and professional.

Reserved a nonsmoking. I called to confirm about 30 minutes from town and was told all they had was smoking. Traveling with someone with allergies this would not work. Then they still charged me even though I did not step foot in the hotel.

Very friendly staff, old school hotel where you park in front of the room. Room was very clean, breakfast was fine but not special. The place was surprisingly quiet while getting my luggage out of the car I saw next room over had 2 boys, didn't hear them though the wall. The staff lifts this hotel from ordinary to recommend

Best, most comfortable, quietest, friendliest reception, best most awesome breakfast... This is our first Best Western stay in probably 30 years, but it definitely won't be our last! And this is our new favorite location to plan our trips around! The breakfast, by Bobbi, was AWESOME! Delicious, real food, hot and superb! I dare say there is not another breakfast anywhere to match this! We even left a really good tip...just because it was that good! Bobbi....you need to make the a.m. menus and structure to provide this menu for all of the BW guests...they really would fill your hotels!

Great accommodations, breakfast, price, and service. Close to all historical locations that we came to visit. Motel staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our group will be back to this motel soon. No complaints.

Avoid this motel! Sleeping in your car would probably be better. The smell of cigarettes was so bad from the moment we entered. Room would not cool to a comfortable sleeping temperature. Awful experience.

I agree with other reviews that the staff were very pleasant and the food was awesome. However, I was very disappointed to realize that this was a 1 or 2- star “motel” when we arrived late that evening. It is way over-priced and overrated as a 3-star hotel. The beds were comfortable enough but not the quality expected. All doors faced the parking lot and highway so there quite a bit of noise. Overall the room was small and dated.

Amazing stay once again. Staff is so nice and welcoming. Rooms are very clean. The breakfast was always great. Will definitely stay here every time we are in town. Plus the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in. It's a convenient location to restaurants and things to do.

We had no issues whatsoever on our stay at this Best Western. Although we didn't use it, the indoor pool was beautiful and looked very clean. I did use and enjoy the exercise equipment. Our room was clean and everything worked fine. We never heard noise from other guests. Breakfast was great, and the employees were friendly.

Obvious flaw w TA algorithm. This place isn't close to a Hampton or any Hilton product for similar $ spent. Nice employees, but dated, dirty, smoky, pet smelly. Outdoor facing rooms only. Reminds one of hourly type accommodations. We are TA loyalists, but this Traveler ranking #2 was obviously corrupted. For a happy spouse, go elsewhere. Again, employees and owner were pleasant, but this place needs lots of work for $ spent. For 50-60 bucks a night this place adequate. For 100 bucks + a room, go elsewhere. ( very seasoned traveler)

This an old at best 2 star motel. The room was marginally clean with hairs left in the bathroom. The mattress was lumpy and old. There was a mild smoke smell in the room despite it being a nonsmoking room. If you are looking for something decent look elsewhere. Way overpriced for what we got. I don't understand the positive reviews and am skeptical that they are legit.

Hotel has been updated a good bit and rooms were quite clean. While cleanliness was not an issue, you might want to ask for new linens if aging ones are an issue. Have made a note about this to the staff and expect this will not be a recurring issue.

When staying one night to continue the journey this was easy access from the highway, and a bit older style where you access all rooms outside. No elevators so stairs only so just be aware. Liked that you faced the parking lot and did not have to go down hallways. Rooms a bit dated but clean and comfortable Ice maker on 2nd floor not working and one on first floor was just used to fill some coolers so not enough for me - need to be earlier next time :) Liked that it was very close to the Battlefield and other historic areas we wanted to visit.

General Manager who was outrage about room price which already set the room price two weeks ahead of arrived hotel She was very argumentative for room price changes. She could increase room price anytime she want after set the price made by hotel employees.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms very clean as well. Location is good, not far from the highway. The price for the room was reasonable. I would stay there again if needed. No complaints.

The front desk staff was amazing and so kind!! Beds were comfy, pet fees were so reasonable! Our air conditioning broke and the amazing office staff upgraded our room. I wish I got her name, but her southern hospitality was top knotch! I'd love to stay here again.

Awesome employees here. Can't get any better. Here is just 1 reason why Yoko! Not only is she beautiful, smart, hardworking she treats everyone like family. Two ladies left their purse and Yoko was on it, had other employees helping to get that purse back and they did! Then 5 minutes later someone else lost their car keys! Yep Yoko was on it! Good Job Yoko!

We came in at 1:30AM having picked this motel out on Tripadvisor. We did not make reservations because we were not sure how far we would drive. Parking lot was full so this had to be one of their last rooms. Furniture was medium to lower end if that bothers you. For us the no smoking King Deluxe room was large and clean. The AC worked fine and it had a microwave and fridge. The bed was very comfortable. The motel was easy to find off of the interstate. Shelly was great at check in and gave us the same rate we had seen on the internet. There was a Waffle House right in front had we been hungry. Due to coming in so late we did not get up in time to try the breakfast. As has been mentioned there is no elevator to the second floor but that is not uncommon in this type of accommodation and is not a problem for us. When passing through Vicksburg again, this will definitely be my go to.

***Not worth Price*** -Same set up as any 55-70$ hotel ~AC low pressure, does not go past 64degrees -Noisy people up above ~Good luck trying to get a hold of front desk ~Not worth 100$ plus a night price tag for the weekend, save your money and go somewhere else. ~Definitely a 2 star hotel

Excellent all around ! Great staff and large clean rooms with very comfortable beds. If your traveling with your furry family member, they are pet friendly, with only a $20 charge. I've stayed in this hotel 3 nights so far this year (it's halfway between my house and my daughter's) and have enjoyed each one.

It was a buffet that had something to please everyone: eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles and the usual, rolls, yogurt., etc. I encountered several staff persons and they were all friendly. If you are mobility impaired, be sure to ask for a first floor room when you make your reservation because it is a two story building where all rooms open to the outside with a staircase. If you are bringing your dog along, there is a &22.00 pet fee payable at check in. There is a variety of restaurants nearby and a drug store in walking distance. I did not use the indoor swimming pool, but it looked nice and well maintained. I felt safe traveling alone with my dog. The bed was great and no outside noises disturbed my sleep. I would definitely stay there again .

The reviews for this hotel were glowing and the rating high, which is why I chose this hotel. I was unpleasantly surprised. First, the good. The room was clean. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was hot. There is a great grocery store that's a short walk away. The room was spacious. The refrigerator had a freezer that worked. The morning staff was friendly and courteous. We saw a great fireworks display from the hotel. Pets are allowed for an additional fee, and there were quite a few at the facility, however I didn't see any "pet waste" bags offered by the hotel. Now the bad. There is no elevator, so if you're on the 2nd floor, be prepared to haul your luggage (16 steps, the check in staff told me). The ice machine on the 2nd floor didn't work. The towels have seen better days. The internet is "open" with no security or firewall - use at your own risk. The rooms are all open to the outside, and the 2nd floor walkway had crack after crack - about 1 or 2 in front of every 2nd floor room - which concerned me from a structural integrity standpoint. The worst thing was the surprise noise at 2:30am. Just down the hill from the hotel is a huge parking lot for the grocery store and local Waffle House. Many of us were awakened hearing someone on a bull horn broadcasting to evacuate/leave the area immediately. I woke up thinking the hotel was on fire. Looking out the window, I saw at least 5 police cars with blaring sirens working to clear out about 100 cars from the parking lot. It took over 30 minutes. Apparently it is a local hangout for kids and this has happened before, so I was told by someone at 3am who knew several of the "departing non-guests." Some of those kids were parked in the BW parking lot and took off during this time. From a safety and noise standpoint, I wouldn't stay there again.

pleasant stay here for two nights. air conditioner worked great, tv was very good, the bed was not a marshmellow like most other hotels and motels i've stayed. So i was able to rest peacefully . small square pillows, but adequate. nice and quiet on second floor. this is a motel two story , all doors face to outside. I was impressed with all the staff . Everyone very professional, friendly, and helpful. I will definately stay here the next time i'm visiting or passing thru. I'll give 5 stars if the pillows were regular size . No biggie.

The telephone did not work . When we to turn on the radio on the night stand we found out there was NO electrical outlet. We then moved it to another area and found out the radio didn't work at all. I could not get the shower to come. There were signs of multiple repairs on the ceiling. The only good thing I can say is the bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.

Shelly the front desk clerk was very nice and told us everything we needed to know for our stay. The sheets were nice, beds comfortable, and good pillows. We got a goods night sleep and the room was clean. The reason l gave a 4 was the room had a musty smell that did not go away. Looks like they had had plumbing problems in the past and the cover they used did not completely cover the hole. Wonder if was the musty smell

Room was clean. Lady at front desk was wonderful (forgot to get her name). Bed was comfy with plenty of pillows. Plenty of towels. TV/cable worked great. AC cooled great and wasn't super noisy. Blackout curtains plus shades helped make room nice and dark even during day. Ice machine worked great to fill up cooler before hitting the road again. I will definitely stay here again! Easy access off and on I-20 but be sure to turn in after little shopping center. There's a small sign pointing to road access as hotel is set back a ways from frontage road.

All was good except a small discrepancy with my stay in Arizona. I booked a flight and a 4 night stay there and was given a parking permit not knowing that there was a charge to park, it took a little while to get reimbursed for it but I did. I've been staying in hotels for years and was never charged to park before

Shelley at the front desk was VERY accommodating! She sold us on the stay. I enjoy the view of the highway from my room and there's a plaza with restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. I'll be back.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and nice. Reasonably priced compared to the over the top prices at other hotels. Traveling with a small dog and pet fee was nominal. Would stay again!

Great place to stay, very clean. Staff was very nice. We will stay here again in the future I am sure. Didn't get to try breakfast there or the pool. The location is perfect for us to stop on our way to Florida.

This hotel was amazing. The manager, Mrs. Christy Chambers and all the other employees were really sweet. All were pretty welcoming and done so much to make us feel at home. I highly recommend this Hotel if you ever stay in Vicksburg.

We were staying at the hotel while on business and at 4:20 am Tuesday morning we were awakened by the soda machine vendor servicing his machine outside our room. The lobby staff said only the manager could resolve the issue and would not be in until 7 am. I waited to speak with her 4 mornings and she was late every day so I left a message for her to call me. She has not called me yet. While the staff is friendly and the hotel is in a good location and has nice amenities, the manager is not available to resolve complaints from customers. She also refused to respond to requests to email hotel receipts to me as I did a remote check out.

Rooms are spacious...staff is nice and friendly. Rooms are quiet which is a super plus for light sleepers. Bed was comfortable. Didn't care for the breakfast, however. There's a microwave and mini fridge, and a grocery store next door so you can load up on snacks at least.

Whatever this hotel might once have been, it has now become a dope motel. The entire place reeked of marijuana and judging from the ravaged faces of some of the patrons, there was a fair bit of meth going around too. The A/C pulled the marijuana smoke in from outside filling my room with smoke. When I complained to the management, they said there was nothing they could do because of the new state medical marijuana law. This, of course, is not true. They retain full control of their property. Apparently they have decided to cash in on the dope trade. Unless you want this sort of environment for yourself and your family, stay somewhere else.

Mrs. Pat at the front desk displayed exemplary and impeccable customer service! Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and sweethearted! The housekeeping staff was awesome as well and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed my entire stay!

Traveling across the country with small dog. This was by far the best run, cleanest, well appointed and friendiest place we stayed. We will return! Deserves a 10 outof 10. I don't understand any of the negative reviews.

Within sight of the highway but a bit removed up a hill, this BW was a warm and welcoming stop as winter weather approached. Clean and quiet, it shares a driveway with multiple auto dealerships and a quiet strip mall with grocery and food options. Very friendly staff which greeted us upon arrival and a delicious hot grab and go breakfast as we departed the next day.

This is just an old and worn motor inn. Rooms facing exterior. Best Western is turning into very poor quality. Should be sold and turned into a cheaper brand. Staff were nice and helpful though. Nothing in area.

It was awful. It is not ok to remove a guest belongings hours before checkout so you can give it to another guest. They put my belongings in garbage bags and said they thought I checked out earlier! No No No

Very easy check in and cheerful front desk staff. Older rooms are nice and clean and larger than the more modern designs. Breakfast items were mostly Covid style grab and go but microwave biscuits were a hit with grandboys. So.... considering the current mindset it was a good choice.

Just off the interstate access road. Very clean and well-kept. Adapted breakfast for Covid-19 concerns. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to Waffle House and Chinese restaurant. Behind car dealership, so was not right on the busy interstate, but very close.

No complaints on our stay. The room was clean, beds comfy, staff helpful. Its so hard to find two queen beds in a double room, and we really appreciated it. We were only there for a quick overnight, but would return on another trip.

The receptionist was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night, but the cleaning carts in the morning were loud and early. It is conveniently located off I-20. Unlike most places who have quit offering breakfast during COVID, they did offer wrapped sausage and egg biscuits and juices.

The hotel was one of the clean Iv stayed at, the hotel staff was great. We evacuated for the hurricane and really enjoyed our stay, we are planning a return trip to check out Vicksburg!! I would highly recommend this hotel!

Very good accommodation, clean, everything worked, good breakfast during covid times, quiet, and convenient. Staff were extremely helpful. Stayed two nights and had no complaints whatsoever, in fact, only positive things to say about the accommodation and the people. The price was higher than other hotels in the region, but the BW quality was evident throughout.

While trying to make a plan to evacuate from hurricane Sally, I had a mix up with a reservation at Best Western Vicksburg. Called the property and spoke with Jody who quickly solved my dilemma. Kind, friendly and very helpful. Great job, and thank you Jody!!

We went to Vicksburg because we lost electricity due to hurricane Laura. The room was clean and the a/c worked. Those were the two main requirement. We didn't interact with the staff much, but when we did they were pleasant and helpful. This is an older 'motel' style building. However, they do have all the normal features most people come to expect: secure doors & locks, modern TV (with DISH), hair dryer, and more. The only drawback was the incredibly small and non-absorbent towels.

I was held over in Vicksburg for two nights with car trouble. Jody, the manager at the front desk manager always greeted with a warm smile, she was always approachable and very helpful in accomodating my situation. The room was well kept and comfortable but I would return again if only to thank Jody again for her excellant customer service.

On our way to Gulf Shores, our car broke down near Tullulah, LA. We finally had it towed to a dealer in Jackson, MS, but because of COVID, finding a ride all the way there was not happening. We DID get a ride to Vicksburg, and reserved a room here literally as we were on the interstate. The font desk lady was VERY supportive, friendly, and empathetic. Even helped us get transportation the next day on to Jackson. Room was extremely clean and quiet, comfortable beds, too. The only reason it go only 4 stars is because they are doing that stupid grab n go breakfast which is a brown bag with an orange, a muffin and a granola bar. Yuck. Fortunately, there is a Waffle House 200 yards away, The morning staff was also very nice.. We would stay here again.

Easy access from highway with grocery and gas right next to it. Very friendly staff and a well maintained property. They also scheduled pool time and provided sack breakfasts due to covid concerns! Thank you!

Most Vicksburg B &B's were closed when we visited, so we chose the Best Western. It is an older motel but our room was very comfortable with plenty of tables, chairs, microwave and small frig (which was very cold)! The room was very clean and the mirror was nicely lit which made putting on my makeup easy! Unfortunately breakfast is no longer served and the grab and go bag was pitifully filled with water, an orange and a Quaker bar. It is conveniently located with most attractions only 1-2 miles away.

We stayed there June 17. Staff lady was very nice. Sadly the bathroom was a mess. Black hairs on the floor and in the tub. Disgusting. Toilet paper was empty. Suppose to have full breakfast. No breakfast .

Hard to give a thorough review as the lobby was closed and the usual breakfast was replaced with grab and go. Tired of the covid crap and ready for hotels to be normal again. Enough already. This was definitely the best out of 3 different BWs lately.

I stayed here two years ago and wasn't impressed, but there's not much choice in Vicksburg. I was very pleasantly surprised at the improvements. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a ground floor (opening to the parking lot) which worked well for us and had an unusually comfy bed. Loved the biscuits and gravy. This hotel is located behind a Ford dealership. If coming from Indiana Avenue, turn right immediately after the Waffle House.

I had no problems with the room The king bed was nice The bathroom was big enough so anyone in a wheelchair could use it also . The building is old looking but looks nice in the rooms . Nice staff made checking in a breeze Has microwave and mini-fridge . I recommend it

Older motel that has been tastefully updated. The room was spacious with a sofa, refrigerator, microwave and a large TV. The breakfast was excellent. It was conveniently located just off the highway but set back enough that we didn't hear any highway noise. This motel was a great value for the price.

Have stayed here a couple of times and have always been totally satisfied. Their full breakfast was phenomenal. It was excellently prepared and just the way I like it. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. They provide an alphabetical list of all television channels (which I don't see very often and always look for). The bed was VERY comfortable. It is close to shopping, restaurants and downtown Vicksburg. Just off the interstate, so ease of getting in and out is important to me.

We stayed here in January 2020 and the weather was a bit chilly. We checked in and our room was ready straight away. The room was warm and cosy and the beds were very comfortable. The only thing was we couldn't get the shower to work. We went to reception and the lady at the desk showed us how it operated. After that it was plain sailing! There was plenty of hot water and amenities and the room was well appointed with a fridge and microwave. The breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice. All in all we had a very comfortable stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nearing the end of a 6200 mile road trip, I stopped here for the night. Peggy, at the front desk greeted me. She was amazing! She was very accommodating of my needs, cheerful, and informative. Seeing how exhausted I was, Peggy gave me a downstairs room so I could park right in front of it to make it easier for me to bring in my luggage, etc. I had no energy left, so I was grateful for that. She gave me a welcome bag of water and goodies, as well. It's the little things like that that meant a lot to me. Thank you, Peggy! The room was nice, the mattress wonderful, and I slept well. The hotel is up on a hill, so it is peaceful and quiet.

The Best Western Vicksburg is a great place to stay. In practical terms, it's clean, well maintained, quiet, and comfortable. The hot breakfast is wonderful. But the reason I'm reviewing is because of the people. The staff was very friendly and more. My Husband and I were having mechanical problems with our RV. The staff, from front desk to managers to housekeeping, gave us a shoulder to cry on and suggestions about the local area. Stay at the Best Western. You'll have a great experience.

We find Best Westerns very consistent. It's great to have a hot breakfast before heading out. It is very close to the national park which was a plus. There are also restaurants close by. The cookies and hot beverage upon arrival was welcome after the drive.

I enjoyed this hotel stay. The room was clean and comfortable, staff went out of their way to please guests and were extremely friendly. Even though the hotel is near the highway, it was super quiet inside.

Always stay here when traveling from TX to TN. Rooms are clean. Staff always helpful. Breakfast is great and the dining room is clean. The elderly (I am qualified to say elderly because I am elderly also) lady who manages the dining room during the week does a fantastic job. Food is always filled, and everything available as needed. Most important, it is a clean place to have breakfast. Yes, I am a clean nut.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel this month . I've had issues each time . The rooms are clean but the linens are not . Last week it was one of the queen beds appeared like it hadn't been changed. This week the coverlet cover looked like it had mascara on it under the decorative footer. I noticed the shower curtain has the same black stain. The towels are Dingy and well one wash cloth had hot pink nail polish on it. My guess is the linens are being dragged under the carts or you have a bad washer/ dryer leaving grease stains. I'd love to give you guys a higher rating because it's quieter here than our other places here in town. I just can't rebook or recommend a place that I have to have my husband help me change the sheets or run back to the front office for clean towels . This is our 1/2 mark on a cross country drive and who wants to do all that work after a 14 hour drive. Sincerely room 123 and room 221

Excellent location! Great service! Close to so many historical sites. Alot of restaurants, shopping and site seeing nearby. Great booklet available in the lobby with a map of locations of scenic routes and points of interest.

Outstanding comfort and felt like home. All questions answered promptly and politely. Very pleasant staff. Pat and Jody whom we have spoken with the last time we stayed, were amazing. Customer service is their priority. They understand that the customer signs paychecks.

Stopped for a night's rest at this motel. Friendly morning staff, especially Miss Thelma who works the breakfast room. Well stocked hot breakfast buffet. Room was pretty clean but the bathtub mat was not and there was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. However the bedclothes were clean and the bed was comfortable. My room was on the first floor near one of the stairways. So there was a bit of noise as folks went to and from their rooms. I prefer motels with rooms that open into a hallway and these opened directly to the outside which I don't feel is as safe, especially when I travel alone. But the price was good compared to other motels in Vicksburg.

We stayed here for a week to visit family. Large rooms and courteous staff. Tucked back off hHyw 20.Plenty of parking with great hyw access. Large breakfast area with plenty of options. I'd stay again. GW

The staff member that checked me in was very friendly and helpful, despite the late hour. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, and thanks to the little demo she gave me up front, I had no trouble using the shower. The complimentary breakfast was one of the better spreads I've come across. Usually it's cold cereal, some fruits and muffins. Here we had scrambled eggs, potatoes o'Brien with sausage, (hot) biscuits and gravy, pastries, cereal, waffles with all the fixings. I'm sure there was more that I missed. It was pretty busy in the little breakfast dining room, but the staff were on top of it and quick to replace anything that had run out.

The woman who checked us in was friendly and gave us the name of two great restaurants, Rustys and Toney's. Both were excellent. Also ate at Goldie's barbeque which was fine but not great. Beds were comfy and shower was excellent although the bathroom is tiny and so are the three towels that are allotted for a double queen. Great refrigerator and wonderful table space. Make sure to check your alarm to make sure it is off from the previous guest or you might be woken up at 5 AM like I was. It was quiet and warm enough. Breakfast was either two kinds of sausage or sausage and tiny, tiny pieces of bacon, and scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal packaged that all had sugar, package grits, a bagel, toast, muffins, juice, fruit, real butter and half and half in little containers, low quality yogurt full of unhealthy fillers and sugary peanut butter. Juice but no milk.

The bed was comfy. The staff were friendly. However, the water in the shower/bath was not hot, it was barely warm.I was glad to have a nice clean room with fridge, microwave, hair dryer and iron available.

We visited this facility on the way to TX and it was such a pleasant experience we stopped again on the way back. While traveling on a motorcycle we experienced some bad weather that extended our stay by one day while waiting out the storm. The breakfast here is no question the best hot breakfast we have found at any motel. Thelma works very hard to keep fresh hot food available as needed. Nothing sets out for hours. The rooms and beds are spotless and comfortable. Definitely a step ahead of the rest.....

It's clear that the facility is trying!. The staff was friendly and efficient, the room was clean and comfortable and generous in size. We were even given a "welcome gift" of bottled water and snacks. The issue came when we turned on the television. The signal kept being interrupted. When we talked with reception, they suggested we unplug the TV and reboot. We did this several times through out the evening. Because of this, we're giving the motel an average rating.

This is a clean and well run hotel with the rooms big with comfy beds, nice size tv, the breakfast was fresh and well restocked when needed,nice size parking lot with big spaces to park your car, and all the employees are friendly. :-)

This was a trip with friends to see the Vicksburg historical sites. We could not get a room at our usual place and were referred to BW. We had a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay here again. I especially enjoyed the breakfast after a good night's sleep.

This was a very quiet place to stay. Bed was comfortable.Shower was great. The breakfast was very filling. Lot of items to choose from. Food area very clean and the food was displayed very well.I highly suggest this place to stay when you come to Vicksburg.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night on a stop over during our road trip from Nashville to New Orleans. We drove from Jackson and found the hotel easily enough at the top of a hill. Check in was quick and we parked our car close to the room. We were a little surprised to see the room was in a motel style but it was actually fine. There was not a lift and it was hot work lumbering 3 heavy suitcases up the two short flights of stairs but great once in the room. The room was well equipped, although there was no safe. The room was clean. We went to the Waffle House restaurant just at the foot of the hill for a light lunch. We used the hotels indoor swimming pool during the afternoon which was perfect for a relaxing afternoon as we had been walking many miles since arriving the week previously in Nashville and Memphis. We met Peggy on reception. She was very friendly and helped us to make a phone call to the hotel we had left that morning in Jackson to query a payment taken on our credit card. She even used her own mobile to make this call for us. She was efficient and sorted out the issue and even attempted resolving another issue we were experiencing with Alamo, the car hire company. We were very grateful to Peggy's help. She really is an asset to the hotel. We had a Chinese takeaway from the restaurant at the foot of the hill and took it back to our room. Unfortunately it was the worst Chinese we ever had! We got talking to a local man whilst waiting for the food. He was interested in where we came from and advised us to go Downtown to the Jesse Brent paddle steamer and museum where he worked. We drove there and parked up by the Mississippi River front but the museum didn't open until 1pm that day so we just took some photographs. We also saw the murals on the wall there. Breakfast was adequate. Check out was very easy. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

This was one of 12 hotels we stayed in during our recent three week road trip and unfortunately I wish I could give it a better review. The hotel is in a convenient area close to the interstate and shopping and restaurants. It has two floors with outside corridors and no elevator. Our check in was quick and the front desk person was friendly and efficient. The rest of the staff was also very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious but there was a definite musty smell when we first entered it and obvious stains on the carpet. The bathroom was very clean but the sink backed up every time we used it. The light in the bathroom would go off intermittently and did so while I was taking a shower leaving me in pitch darkness. The hook on the back of the bathroom door was placed on the level with the top of the door making it hard to reach unless you were tall. The hook that was supposed to hold the ironing board was placed too low and you could not hang the ironing board on it. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we had a good night's sleep and the breakfast was very good with lots of choices but the small unattended issues just left us with a bad taste.

Stayed here for one night and was expecting more having read reviews. Firstly there is nothing in the vicinity apart from a Waffle House to eat at as situated just off the motorway receptionist was welcoming and first impression was the room was ok. However on closer inspection the bedding had something disgusting on it and the ceiling had bugs crawling over it. The receptionist gave us an alternative room but again bugs appeared on the ceiling and I received bits by something during the night despite sleeping with most of my clothes on as the room felt so grimy. My husband saw a raccoon scavenging outside of our room too! I have never felt happier when morning came and we were able to continue our journey!

This has got to be the cleanest hotel I've been in in a long time. It didn't look too promising when we pulled up but we were pleasantly surprised. While it is old -- park in front of the door type of motel -- it has been recently renovated. Nothing fancy but very nice. The bed was super comfortable and triple sheeted. Everything worked. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was adequate with the usual hot and cold choices. There is also an indoor salt water pool right off the lobby.The only problem was finding the place. It sits well back off the road and the sign is small. Now that I know where it is though, I would stay there again if in the area.

What a great place to stay....well kept, clean and the icing on the cake; great people that are friendly and all about excellence! We called ahead to reserve a room and a lady we later found out to be Peggy answered the phone....very accommodating, polite and helpful. And when we arrived Peggy was the one who greeted us. Just as helpful in person as over the phone. On our next trip through Vicksburg we will be sure to stay here. Managers/owners you have a great staff here!

One of the cleanest places we have stayed. Staff was very nice and hotel is in great location ! The breakfast was one of the best also. It's very close to the battlefield also. For $85 a night we thought it was a great value

very clean and quite. The service personal was wonderful. The breakfast was first class. The beds was very comfortable. I could have stayed in the wonderful shower an hour. I love staying at this place when Im in town

This hotel/motel was chosen as part of our Deep South road trip and I was looking for somewhere to stay that was convenient for the National Military Park which a 5 minute drive away fits the bill perfectly................. Check-In, I was greeted by a very friendly lady on reception who made me feel very welcome to this hotel. She explained where the room was and what time breakfast was in morning. Door card issued, away I went........... Room, We were allocated room 221 which is on the second floor of a two story building. Unfortunately there is no lifts to assist you with regards of taking luggage up to the second floor rooms, so I am afraid it is a case of lumping it up the stairs!! The room was of a reasonable size which was presented very clean and tidy. The rooms are not the most modern we have ever stayed in, but filled it's purpose. Breakfast, During our road trip, we have been subject to some beautiful food which both of us have enjoyed very much. Unfortuately this was the first time where we both struggled with choice of items for breakfast. There was a choice of hot and cold items, but the cooked breakfast did not look very appealling especially the fried eggs!! So it was a case of cold items only on this day.............. Overall, This is an ideal place to stay if you in the area especially if you are visiting the National Military Park. It is located just off the main highway and very easy to find. We had a quiet stay and the room was ideal, it was just a shame it was let down by (in our opinion) the breakfast. Maybe it was a bad day, I don't know but the hotel is excellent value for money and we would return again if in the area.

Clean and pleasant room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Biggest negative is no elevators and a pet friendly motel. Dogs next door to our room yapped til 10:30 pm and started again making noise at 6.

We chose this hotel on our way back home as a nice stop over. It said it had an indoor pool and, as we had our daughter with us, thought this would be a good place. We were wrong. The pool was way over chlorinated and freezing cold. We could still smell the chlorine on our skin two days later. The room was good, but the air conditioner was old and VERY noisy. Had a hard time sleeping because of the drone from the unit. Best Western are usually a good choice, but alas, not on this occasion. Saving grace? Yes. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.

We were promptly greeted and checked in quickly. Paul then insisted we park our motorcycle under the canapy at the front of the building. Much safer than in the middle of two cars, but I wasn't concerned about crime at this loction. Just piece of mind. Paul also helped us pick out a perfect resturant for dinner. "Rusty"s Riverfront Grill" Outstanding seafood and green fried tomatos. The only negitive about our stay was the corridor leading to our room. All the air conditioners were blowing hot air into the small space making it very uncomfortable getting in and out of room. Just the way the hotel was built, nothing anyone can do about it. Overall a very good night sleep and would return if staying in this town.

Big downer were doors that opened to the outside and no elevator (at least that we were told of) to the upper floor. Property is older and in need of a major upgrade. It was clean, will give it that. Breakfast was adequate. So was the bed. As indicated .. Average!

My husband and little dog and I stayed here overnight on our way home from Florida. Oh my gosh, the king size bed and pillows were absolutely HEAVENLY! I haven't slept that good in years. Plus, at only 85 dollars per night, it's an amazing bargain. There were ample grassy areas for us to walk our dog, and the breakfast the next morning was very good. We loved this motel and would not hesitate to stay there again!

My teenage daughter and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Vicksburg. It is an older hotel but has been updated nicely. Our room was just what we needed and was clean and comfortable. My daughter really like the pillows. Housekeeping did a great job. The breakfast was delicious and well stocked, with biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage along with waffle maker, cereals, muffins and other items. The lady did a great job of taking care of the food and tables and was very friendly. The indoor pool is first rate. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Great location, just a minute from interstate but off to itself enough to be very quiet. There is no traffic noise at all. Just minutes from everything we came to see in Vicksburg. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to others.

We stayed at this hotel and it was perfect all round - clean, good location, very comfortable beds and nice breakfast! We were welcomed by Pat who was very professional and kind. She was helpful and very empathic to our needs. Thanks Pat you were great and made our stay much better!

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great and had a lot of variety. Eggs, biscuits, sausage, pastries, waffles, and much more. We would definitely stay here again. The signage could have been better. The hotel was right off the interstate, but far enough off the frontage road that you did not hear the road sounds.

There's something nice about being able to park your car directly in front of your door. Right off the interstate and seems to be well kept. The signage could be a little better as this motel is situated behind a car lot. Think of it as a hidden gem. If you take one turn too soon you'll have to turn around in a shopping center. The staff was great. Breakfast was surprisingly good. I will stay here again.

I stayed for four nights and have no complaints or regrets. Room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again. Thelma makes a great breakfast. The hotel is very reasonably priced as well as being close to all attractions.

This hotel is spotless clean and comfortable! Breakfast was delicious and most of all, Every staff member were so friendly! It's obvious that they love their job and do everything to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible! Nothing is too much trouble for them! Something that you don't see that often now but here you are made to feel like family! If I could give this hotel a higher score then I would! Highly recommend this place and it's pet friendly! We do a lot of traveling and this place is on our most favorite hotels list! We'll definitely be back here often!

The room was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast area was clean and well kept. Nothing amazing or extra nice about this hotel. The doors are exterior although there was not much traffic noise. The ac unit was a bit noisy, but not a huge deal. Not sure why others rated it so high. I did get a discount for joining their rewards program.

The property was very well maintained and very clean. The personnel were great! Good hot breakfast. The rooms are outside entrance, but the property felt very safe. We recommend this motel very highly.

We always try to stay at a Best Western . The beds are always comfortable and the breakfast is good. The people are nice and helpful . Only one in all our stays at Best Western was the personal at front desk unfriendly and that was not this one. I wrote a review and mentioned how disappointed I was.

Me and my family stayed at this hotel and Ms. Mary was an excellent server in kitchen. The kitchen was very clean and the food was good. The stay was great and me and my family had a overall great stay here!

From the time we arrived at 9pm until I finally complained at 2am, people were gathered in groups outside the door drinking and smoking, kids were running up and down the balcony hallways all hours of the night. It was the worst hotel I have ever experienced! The staff absolutely should be ensuring the grounds are safe and quiet in the late hours, rather than wait for guests to get to the point they are fed up and have to go to the office at 2 am to request they actually do something.

The hotel was very nice. Staff was extremely nice. Very clean. Breakfast was amazing.The only issue we had was the pool is cold enough for penguins to swim in. I was told it was heated but got 3 different stories as to why it was so cold. I would have gave 5 stars if not for that.

I chose this Best Western because of reviews on TripAdvisor. And, most of what was said is right. Nice place to stop with a dog (only $15 pet fee) and a motorcycle on a trailer (it's off the frontage road, but on a hill, so felt protected and isolated). Check in was slow because of slow computers, but the staff was so nice and apologetic. They filled me in on breakfast (sounded good, but not early enough). Room was as expected (don't love bathrooms that have the sink out in the bedroom area -- hard to have one person up and the other trying to sleep). Pillows better than originally expected. Walking distance to a Waffle House, Grocery Store, Liquor store. We're staying again when we come back to Dallas from Knoxville. Nothing really special, but fits the bill for a stay on the way to our destination.

I'm usually suspicious about "outside" type rooms where the doors face outside, but I was pleasantly surprised. Room was large and clean, with big beds, everything was new. Staff were friendly, saying have a nice day and such when I saw them, including cleaning staff. You could tell they care a lot about guest experience. It was good for the overnight stay, but if I ever stayed in Vicksburg for any longer, I'd stay there.

Great night. No complaints! Nice location on a hill away from traffic noise. Very quiet. Nice room. Loved being able to park outside my door. Breakfast was much better than most. Will definitely stay here again. Friendly and helpful staff.

We returned here because we had enjoyed it so much the first time. Location is excellent for a stay in Vicksburg. All the staff are very pleasant. Although the hotel has apparently undergone a refurb, it was exactly as I remembered it. Breakfast was good and the general ambiance was nice. Only down side was: our room was in a very dark, enclosed part of the 2nd floor which was slightly disconcerting and also led to the room having a slight stale/damp smell. Also in the morning before checking out, our door was knocked on 3 occasions to check if we had left. Surely there is a less obtrusive way of organising this. That said, I'd probably use again if in the area as it still represents good value with pleasant staff.

The location is on the top of a hill overlooking some retail area. We felt that our loaded down car was safe as there was one way in and one way out. We liked that we could park in front of our room. Nice facility with full breakfast.

Family business took me to Vicksburg and I needed a good valued hotel. The Best Western provided clean rooms, the beds were among the most comfortable hotel room beds I've ever slept on, and the front desk help were warm and welcoming.

Good people when we were checking in...clean room & good TV and clean remote.Very comfy bed, yummy breakfast...even had check out papers ready! I would highly recommend this BW if you're in the area....book'em!

We were celebrating wedding anniversary, and this motel offered Jacuzzi in room. It was fabulous! Also the room was larger than we expected, very clean, and in perfect working order. Breakfast was very nice, with great variety and specialized item eg Almond Milk, which I appreciated.

Easily accessible location off I-20. Although it's what I consider an older-style hotel (all rooms face the parking lot), it was modern, well-designed, immaculately clean and quiet. Check-in was quick and the staff courteous and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I fell asleep within minutes. The free breakfast the next morning had plenty of choices and I was tempted to eat more than I should. Great place to stay in the Vicksburg area.

I actually spent 3 nights here during April. One was a free bonus night. No problems with check in, check out, or using my bonus stay. The hotel is very reasonabl e compared to other major chains in Vicksburg. The rooms were very clean and everything worked. Lots of tv channels to choose from. The hotel sits back from I20 and us very quiet with no road noise. Breakfast was typical hotel and ok. There are no elevators so request the bottom floor if you have a problem with stairs. Overall an excellent stay. If we find ourselves in Vicksburg this will be our place to stay.

This is the best hotel for under $100/night that we have ever stayed in! The room was large,spotlessly clean,super comfy bed, and a very, very nice, helpful and attentive staff. Breakfast was good. Location was great for us, just a few minutes from Vicksburg Military Park.

We went April 12th for our anniversary weekend and were there when the tornado hit just one mile away the next day at 5pm. There was so much destruction all around us. The power went out and stayed out, but we were worried about trying to head home with the weather so we stayed put. The staff was so sweet, friendly, and accommodating the whole time. The desk clerk made sure everyone had breakfast the morning after the tornado by bringing coffee she'd made at home and putting out all their wrapped pastries, muffins, bottled water, and fruit. The beds are super comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained, also.

The hotel is in a really nice location and you can tell that the facility is well maintained by BW. I would stay here again if I am in the area. Best Western does a really good job of maintaing this property and making the appearance look new.

This Best Western is on a frontage road so is very easy to find but I was afraid it would be noisy. However, it is set back a little away from all the noise & activity. Very friendly check in and nice large room with a comfortable bed. Lots of good restaurants and it is worth going to the old downtown district to eat. The Cottonwood Public House is a fun place to go with great pizzas & brews.

Nice hotel conveniently located for sightseeing. Many things to see in Vicksburg, MS. So glad we visited. Very comfy bed, very friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast. Fantastic restaurants. Must visit the National Military Park.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was the perfect spot. We were close and had easy access to all the locations we were out to see. I absolutely recommend this Best Western. The rooms were clean, they felt clean. It was quiet, you could not hear the neighbors next door or up above.

We stayed here because it accepts pets. The room was very clean and quiet the free breakfast was good. It sits off the Interstate, but is far enough away to keep the road noise to a minimum. There is no elevator to the second floor and the rooms open to the outside. It is only a short drive to the historic downtown, the civil war military park and the area's top rated restaurants. The pet fee was reasonable, but you have to cross a large parking lot to find a grassy area for your pet's potty visits.

The front desk was very nice and the breakfast attendant was very nice. The room was small and the bathroom really small. The entrance doors are on the outside so you get lots of parking lot noise. The are 2 stories but no elevator. There was a bath mat haning on the side of the tub and when I picked it up there was soap scum and hair under it. I would not stay here again.

A nice room, clean, quiet and comfortable. Friendly staff. Breakfast had lots of good options. I appreciated the fresh fruit. Next door to a really good Waffle House if you arrive late like we did. Knocking down the rating because of the bathroom. The shower curtain needs to be replaced. Lots of mildew and smelly. The exhaust fan cover was falling out of the ceiling also. Just didn't fit with the quality of the rest of the place. ??

If you are traveling through Vicksburg, this is a great place to stay. This was my 2nd time. It's easy to find, my room was spotless (and I mean sparkling clean!), the bed was super-comfy, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms have all the extras: iron, hair dryer, mini fridge and microwave. I didn't eat breakfast, but it looked fine; I just had coffee (which was good). There is a Waffle House right next door within walking distance, too. Even though this hotel faces the freeway, it's set back off the road on a hill and is very quiet. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe staying here. Excellent value!

A little hidden off the interstate, but easy to get too. Very clean and comfortable, and quiet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, and knew all about the area. Breakfast was one of the best. When we indicated we had a problem with stairs, the receptionist offered a handicap room on the ground floor, which also saved us money, Very thoughtful.

I stayed three nights here in November while competing in a pageant. The room was clean, everything worked as it should, the desk staff was friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was impressive. I would definitely stay here again!

I was quite pleased with both the accommodations and the service. The room was clean and pleasant. The staff was courteous, and all were personable. The front desk crew and the lady who assisted in the kitchen area with complimentary breakfast were all quite lovely. I was very happy with everything.

This is the hotel we stay at when we are heading towards Gulf Shores Alabama and it does not disappoint. Especially our visit on our way home to Dallas Texas. We especially loved the breakfast service this morning our attendent was Krystal and she did her best to stay out of the way but also made sure to help out when needed. She knew that I was on my way to grab silverware and grabbed before I could which was great help. She also asked everyone who came in especially families if they would like waffles (side note:the waffles are cute and come in four little waffles ). It was really nice having Krystal there thank you.

Stayed here for 1 night on a road trip to New Orleans. Again I was very impressed with the size of the rooms, staying with a friend we had a 2 queen beds in the room which were comfortable. There is a Waffle House in the same area of the hotel which we used for breakfast as we wanted a cooked breakfast. The hotel is also very close to the Vicksburg Military Park which we visited on the same day. I would def recommend using this hotel if your passing through!

We originally booked our stay for 2 nights but extended for a 3rd. Our suite was on the first floor located close to the entrance. The room was quiet and the AC worked very well. The breakfest was good and satisfying. The staff kept the breakfast area clean and the hot food repleneshied. It certainly made for a great start to each day. The hotel is conveniently located for easy on and off the freeway. We will certainly stay here on our next trip to Vicksburg.

As leisure travelers, we spend between 60-70 nights annually in Best Western hotels around the US, so have a wealth of experience by which to make our assessment. In all that travel, this property ranks at the very top in all categories, especially the most important one: customer service. The staff is outstanding and looked to assure our comfort and satisfaction at every turn. The property is conveniently located near the interstate exit with shopping and restaurants closeby. Rooms are spacious and quiet with plenty of hot water and drains that work as designed-- no ankle-deep water in the shower from a clogged drain ! Breakfast is very good with hot and cold offerings and an expected variety to satisfy all but the most picky eaters. The breakfast seating area is adequate, bright and comfortable. Prices are reasonable and this property provides good value. The highest recommendation anyone can give is to say that they'd stay there again...and I would without any hesitation. Give it a try

We requested and got a second-floor room. It was quiet and comfortable. Roomy and clean too. At breakfast, Krystal (staff) was exceptional in keeping foods replenished and wiped up. Kudos to her! Our only complaint: the WiFi in our room was VERY sluggish.

We were warmly welcomed by Miss Pat for check in. She is a delightful lady with warm personality. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and we had a great night here. Breakfast was very good (eggs, gravy, biscuits, bacon, waffles, fruit, cereal and yogurt). Everything was very good! This is a great halfway stop on our way to Houston, and we will be back!

This hotel had a very helpful and friendly front office staff. Greeted us warmly and was quick to call us when they discovered that some of our items had been left in the room. It's very close to the Vicksburg Civil War site we were touring. A grocery/liquor store next door that we were able to walk to. Breakfast Bar was well stocked and made for a great start to our day. Rooms are average and clean. No elevator, so if you have heavy bags reserve a ground floor room!

We stayed on the way through to destination and on the way back. Both times rooms were clean and people friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great. Two children 10 and under and there were various selections for us all. Cristina was there both times and very helpful making sure we had everything we needed, even asking the kids if they could help make them waffles.

We've stayed at this motel numerous times and have always been treated respectfully and the staff is friendly and helpful. We have a pet so this is a nice place for us to stay. It's very easy to access off the interstate and get back on. The breakfast is really nicely displayed and delicious.

This Best Western Hotel offers a great breakfast with a variety of choices including a hot egg, ham and biawuit with gravy, lots of fruit choices, coffee and tea plus various juices, all included in overnight price. The Kingsize room is nice and all rroms have parking out front. If you are riding a motorcycle, you can see your bike from the window. Easy access to and from I20 East or West.

Do yourself a favor and book here! They were perfect and accomodating ! We were stranded and Jody went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! We felt safe and comfortable here! Everything from cleanliness to breakfast was perfect!!

We stayed overnight on a trip home from florida. The staff was very pleasant and the room was very comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the clerk was helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was outstanding. I would highly recommend best western, vicksburg.

We stayed one night, room was a good size, bathroom change and good water pressure. Didn't use the pool but it looked very clean. There were a couple of little things, we had to ask for the air conditioning to be turned on, tv remote needed new batteries and there was a mix up with the price that had to be fixed.

We travel quite a bit from Georgia to Texas and when an overnight stay is required in Vicksburg, we always choose this inn. The room is clean, well-appointed and has all the amenities that you would expect. The service is always excellent and the hot breakfast is a welcome treat.

This hotel was very accomodating, price was great, they accept dogs for a fee of course, but we knew that ahead of time. We only stay at BW unless we can't find one that accepts dogs. Some of them don't.

There are a few places to eat in the strip mall next door. The hotel serves breakfast. If you aren't keen to climb stairs then request for a lower level room as I don't recollect seeing an elevator (but not sure) The room was big and comfortable with 2 double beds. Good for the price. I slept comfortably. And headed off the next morning. The staff at the front desk was very helpful - guess they have a unique faucet in the bathroom and hence the lady gave me a short demonstration - believe many patrons must've complained in the past and hence they now show how to use the faucet on check-in itself ;-) Would recommend if you intend to stay in Vicksburg only for the night. For a longer stay in Vicksburg if you're there to explore the town I would recommend staying in downtown.

I won't usually stay in places with doors on the outside, but we were just passing thru and needed a room to sleep for a few hours and leave early the next morning. TA gave it a good rating and the reviews were decent so we stopped. The room was clean and the location was quiet. We decided to eat at the Waffle House next door until we took a peak at the free breakfast. It was just what we needed before hitting the road! Waffles, eggs and bacon, great coffee with plenty of creamer choices. Idk if all Best Western are this way, but I was impressed by this one in Vicksburg.

This is my fourth stay in last two years. Every time I stayed 4 nights and there is nothing to complain. Staff keeps room clean. Free WiFi is fast that I can even watch netflix movies on my laptop. Staff at front desk and at the breakfast in the morning are very courteous and even inquire if I needed any thing else. I would certainly stay here every time I come to Vicksburg on my business trips.

I have stayed at the BW Vicksburg for over 2 years off and on, and they have made living on the road easy for me and my co-workers. Jodie and Cristina are always friendly, and willing to help with anything you might need. The breakfast is always top notch!

This motel was well managed - check-in was a little slow, but we had four rooms. Breakfast was regular - but the kitchen staff was very informative and willing to talk. Christine recommended dinning places and attractions that Vicksburg had to offer. When we return to Vicksburg, we plan to return to this Best Western. There was a restaurant within walking distance.

Christina made breakfast this morning and it was great. She cooked waffles for my grandkids and made sure we did not want for a thing. The eggs were real eggs, not something that look like eggs. You will not go wrong with Christina in the kitchen.

Good scrambled eggs. Love hot sauce, especially Louisiana sauce. I love watching news in the morning, so that was a plus. Christina was really nice, greating us when we walked in. Bed is comfy, good tv in the room.

Best Western Vicksburg is a great facility... but its staff make it even better! From the front desk to the housekeepers, the folks here are pleasant, attentive and kind. They're the best and you'll appreciate their care when you stay here!

We only stayed at this hotel for one night. Passing through headed back home. The hotel was very old. The bed was squeaking. It was raining so tv lost reception. The pump in the pool was not working so it was closed. The rooms are outside. There were people standing around outside smoking and talking into the evening hours. The only plus was that it was located right off the freeway. If my husband wasn't so tired, I would have looked for another hotel. The staff was nice and gave recommendations for dinner.

Very clean rooms, personable staff and Cristina did a great job of servicing us throughout our breakfast. Christina even threw away our plates before we could!! A great stop between west Texas and Atlanta!

Great stay - parking lot is very well lit - just like daylight! Also it is tucked away so away from traffic. As a women traveling alone with children I felt very safe. Room was very clean. Could not find anything wrong. Pool was very nice and breakfast had lots of options. Exterior doors made it easy to load up quickly in the morning.

All of the workers are very nice and greeting. The lady that helped with breakfast was very sweet and clean. The rooms smelt fresh like someone had just cleaned it. Beds were comfortable and they had amazing pillows! Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel/motel was very clean. The beds were well made comfortably and the pillows were able to be puffed out more to make them extra fluffy and soft. The breakfast was especially clean and run by a woman named Thelma, who was very sweet and takes great pride in her job. The only thing we had to do was get extra towels for our room, which only had 3 towels when we needed 4. Other than the towel situation, the stay was very excellent and I would love to come back again.

My family stayed here while passing through Vicksburg. All the employees at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. At the breakfast room Cristina was great! Very friendly and helpful as well. I just wish we had more time to spend in the city.

Rooms are spacious, clean and smell great (nice but not overly perfume-y). Staff was very friendly and really nice breakfast with seemingly real scrambled eggs, bacon and canadian bacon as well as biscuits and sausage gravy (plus the normal cereal, baked goods and waffles). Christina gave great advice regarding our planned actives based on the ages of the kids. My only issue is that I didn't realize the doors faced the parking lot. Normally, this wouldn't bother me, but I was traveling by myself with the kids and it made me feel somewhat unsafe. The staff assured me it was a quiet place with lots of repeat guests and it certainly seemed that way. If you are a woman traveling alone though, it may not be where you'll feel the most comfortable.

I was with my Rolling Thunder Chapter headed to D.C. for Memorial Day. There were 20 guests, in my group. The entire staff was friendly, very accommodating, and the property was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the commentary breakfast the next morning. They didn't skimp on the amount of breakfast items available and checked to make sure we had anything we needed for breakfast. We were even offered extra water at checkout, because we were traveling, in the heat. The front staff didn't want us to get dehydrated. We will be back every year, on our way to D.C.

Stopped for a family vacation to tour the battlefield. Hotel rooms were clean and had satellite TV. Front desk and service was excellent. We were greated with a friendly face at breakfast by Christina. Close to the battlefield.

Our stay here was excellent!!! The staff was very welcoming, I went with my grandparent but my grandfather is a handicap and they were very helpful by giving us a room on the first floor near the lobby. The breakfast was extravagant but the skillet potatoes to over the show. The pool was very clean but a little chilly. I would recommend others to stay here.

We've stayed here before and it was nice. This time the room did smell smokey but after speaking with the front desk they mentioned they would take care of it. This was just an overnight visit. Christine is amazing and this was a nice visit. will stay again.

Christina in the breakfast room was very pleasant and helpful! Really, all the staff we met were very friendly. Christina's pleasant demeanor really stood out though! Super clean and well stocked breakfast room! The grand kids loved the pool as well1 the room was clean and comfortable!

While doing a cross country trip, we stopped off here. The rooms were great. They allowed our 2 dogs. Brittany at the front desk was so helpful and Christina made an amazing breakfast! Glad we stopped off here!

We were traveling through the area on motorcycles. The hotel is nicely appointed, the rooms clean and the beds comfortable. A complimentary breakfast is included which offered a number of choices. Christine, a staff member, was present at breakfast offering assistance. The hotel even provided a garden hose so that we could wash our motorcycles. Very pleasant and helpful staff. I have no problems recommending this hotel.

The room was nice and very convenient to get into with two children in tow. The breakfast was really good! Christine, who was working that morning, was really kind and helpful. We would stay here again!

I would of given 5 stars but we had no hot water either that night nor the next morning. I would of reported it, but we took shower late and next morning office was not open (4:30 am). This is an older style room, with the door leading directly out to the parking lot. Room was quiet and very clean and well appointed. Everything worked except the hot water for shower....there was hot tap water...odd. Didn't have breakfast because we left too early and the office is not manned that early so just left key at check out window.

We stayed here for one night while visiting the National Military Park. Perhaps it was because we were only staying one night but our room was in the middle section where rooms are directly opposite each other and so it was quite dark. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good but the breakfast room is very small and so, even though we were in very early, there was not enough seats for everyone and so we took our coffee into the reception area to allow others to sit down. We would still recommend it as a reasonably priced place to stay in Vicksburg but it was not one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed in.

Hotel chosen for proximity to the Vicksburg National Military Park. Less than 5 minutes away. Hotel check-in very quick and lobby clean and neat. Room comfortable. Shower head needed a demo on how to work it - not straight-forward. Christina in the Breakfast Area actually served our food and was extremely helpful and friendly.

Highly recommend this property. Staff is Super. The Pool Area is nice. Breakfast was a nice surprise. Room was clean and comfortable. Have not stayed here previously, but will definitely be back again soon. Satisfied Customer!

I stayed here for two months for work. I was on nights most of the time, and the hotel staff still found a way to regularly clean my room/make sure I had sheets and towels. Everyone was very nice, and the room was comfortable. Had a slightly musty smell at first, but everything seemed clean. Cannot thank this place enough for becoming as good a home-away-from-home as I ever could have asked for!

I've been working over here during the week for about 2 months now. Been staying at this best western. Staff is nice, attentive, and keep the rooms clean. Best part of the day is breakfast at 0600 when Cristina is working. She does her best to make sure my crew and I feel like we're at home and is always smiling and friendly. I keep telling management she needs a raise

When we checked in Tuesday night (5/22/18) we were greated by the one of the friendliest desk managers I've run across. She made us feel welcome and we had a lot of laughs. Definitely recommend staying at the hotel. Thanks.

It has been a very nice visit with my daughter and granddaughter, thanks in part of the friendly staff. Christina was especially kind to my granddaughter and myself. The breakfast was hot and fresh. The staf are very courteous and will go out of their way to help.

This is the first complimentary hotel breakfast where service was provided. Christina made waffles and circulated making sure that everyone had exactly what they wanted. Wonderfully gracious service! Great location also.

We booked the Best western because of the good reviews and price to go along with it. We are pleased to say the hotel was clean, the bed was firm but not hard as a rock. We had a good night sleep and had breakfast there too. The eggs the biscuit, gravy and Canadian bacon was good. Of course they had fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, danishes. The staff was nice from the check in to the lovely cheerful lady working at the breakfast room. She even offered to make Belgian waffles for us the morning of May 10th. I wish I got her name so I didn't have to call her lady. It's not fancy but very comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable. We chose Best Western because they are typically very clean and comfortable. It's our first choice in a smaller town. If I'm not with my husband who prefers to go to a restaurant for breakfast, I enjoy their breakfast fare.

This is as nice a Best Western as I've stayed in. Clean, comfortable rooms and a friendly staff. The hotel has a well lit secure parking lot with security camera's everywhere. No indoor hallways so you can park right in front of your door if you're on the 1st floor in most cases. While the TV isn't real important when traveling they had more free premium movie channels then I've ever seen offered! Great stay and value and if I'm in the area again its definitely where I'll stay!

This is a nice place to spend a night in Vicksburg. The service is very friendly and attentive (special thanks to Cristina). The rooms are clean and well maintained, breakfast is nice, also. Nothing to complain about, good value for money.

We had a very pleasant stay here and were especially pleased with the pleasant attitudes of staff toward our family with several small children. The Hotel is close to the interstate, but nevertheless quiet. Rooms are spacious and clean. Checking in runs without any problems and delays. Commentary breakfast provides a good choice. Service was friendly.

We checked into this room. paperclip on the floor, peeling nightstand laminate. Bleach smell throughout. THEN...opened the dresser draw....A ROACH!!!! Flipped us out. Went to the front desk to complain. We told Brittany there was a roach in the room and her first response was "Again?" Wow, we cancelled the reservation and drove 30 miles back from our destination to stay at the new Fairfield Inn Jackson. A new and very nice property. The Best Western should NOT be 3 STARS.

Stayed 1 night for travel and simply wanted a quiet, CLEAN room for just a night's stay after a long day ;which is paramount to me!) ~ plus we have our dog, which can limit on's choices Booked the 1 King room - clean, all updated, comfortable king bed with room for our dog as well. Front desk was friendly; Cristina kept the breakfast well stocked: hot scrambled eggs with a choice of ham or bacon, biscuits & gravy, as well as cereals, fruit, juices, etc. Just off of I-20, yet very quiet. The pool looked great, but we did not have a chance to use it. Close to several restaurants as well. This Best Western has done a great job to keep updated & clean

Our room was clean, updated, and quiet. We were very happy with the property and its upkeep! The staff was very helpful and kind. Cristina was awesome at breakfast in making sure that tables were cleared and made waffles for anyone who wanted to indulge! I have never been to a more friendly, clean, and helpful motel property. Its proximity to the battlefield made this a great place to stay.

We were in Room 104. While we did not have any pets with us we kept looking for a large, wet dog- The smell in this room was overwhelming. We decided to escape the room for a while and go to the pool, but we found it looking milky and there was questionable debris in it (looked like a present from a leaky swim diaper)- We decided not to swim, and left for dinner. We checked out early in the am- I am giving this two stars instead of one because Christina was amazing at the breakfast area- making waffles for us and charming us with her cheerful nature and general friendliness. We won't go back to this property, but any place would be lucky to have Christina.

We had been on the road for 6 weeks & traveling with pets - It was a great treat to have a very clean, comfortable room. Located right off the interstate-but set back enough to be very quiet. Jodi (front desk) was very helpful & Cristina (breakfast hostess) was extremely friendly & genuinely kind! Great job, y'all!

The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were open to the outside. The breakfast was typical (warm; many choices; yummy). Christina was so cheerful and helpful in the morning. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our breakfast. The only thing that bothered us (it really bothered us) was that the pool was supposedly closed for cleaning. We felt that we should have received advance notice for that. We would have booked elsewhere as we were going cross-country and needed the stretching and exercise that only a pool would provide.

The room was very pleasant which made for a good night of rest. The next morning we went to the breakfast area where we were greeted with a smile and offering to help us in anyway possible. Cristina even cooked our waffles and served with a smile. She was very professional. Enjoyed our breakfast!

We stayed 2 nights here while visiting the military park. This hotel is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Brittany at the front desk told us about a free shuttle to the casinos by the riverfront. She even called one for us. When we had problems booking another Best Western in another state, she got on the phone and did her best to help us. Thank you so much! The free breakfast was hot and surprisingly very good. Cristine was working hard to make sure everything was well stocked and clean. Great job! The room is spacious and comfortable. The property is centrally located close to all the attractions. They even emailed us after our stay, thanking us for our business and offering any future assistance. We will definitely stay here again if we are in Vicksburg. Highly recommend this hotel! They will take care of you like family!.

They have a nice breakfast set up. Christina was very helpful and is a beautiful ray of sunshine to wake up too. I am staying for a week and the hotel is located where I need to be. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through this area.

The rooms are really clean and orderly. The breakfast was quite good, a lot of different things to choose and good quality. Outside it was really quite. There are enough parking lots. In total a very nice hotel!

I woke up at 1am itchy with bites on my arm so I checked the bed and sure enough there were bed bugs. The night shift lady at front desk was apologetic and changed my room. I was skeptical to stay, but it was the middle of the night and I didn't have many other options. She refunded me $15 (ha, what a joke). Next morning, checkout time was 11, someone knocked on the door I told them I needed a late checkout. At noon a man banged on the door and said “it's time to go” very rudely. I went straight to the office and told them that it was very rude the way he banged on the door & the way he spoke. First of all, I was awakened in the middle of the night & couldn't fall back asleep for hours so if I needed a later checkout then that shouldn't have been a problem considering the fact that their crappy hotel had bed bugs that bit me up. At this point I was very frustrated and demanded I be refunded the entire amount of the room (~$100). I showed them pics of the bites on my arm and the bed bugs. The same guy that banged on the door was rude the entire time & had the nerve to say that the linens in my pics weren't theirs. The manager was just as rude and when I showed him the pics he said “we do have those linens, maybe there was a misunderstanding.” Please explain to me this misunderstanding, is he blind?! No! He then went on to tell me that those weren't bed bugs in my pics. “There's a lot of pollen here so people who aren't used to the southern states get itchy.” You've got to be kidding me!! So I guess the bites on my arm were from the pollen. He said he would give me half my money back, $50 what a joke. It's not about the money, it's the principle behind it. I honestly don't know what was worse the bed bugs or the customer service, that was the worst I've ever experienced in my life! Stay at the Holiday Inn down the road for the same price with much cleaner/newer rooms and excellent customer service. I'll NEVER stay at a Best Western again!

I would give 4 1/2 stars if Trip Advisor allowed. Pluses -Location is very close to I-20 entrance. There is a shopping center right down the hill with Rite Aid, Papa John's, Corner Market (yummy plate lunch!), and many more. I like that it is all in walking distance. You still have the option of driving down the freeway to find more food and shopping. -Staff is very friendly and helpful. Before I even arrived, Jodie helped me extend my original reservation and guaranteed that I would have a room. (I am in Mississippi for at least a month for work. Many contractors will be in town, and there probably won't be many places left to stay as a result.) -Breakfast is delicious, plenty to choose from. Cristina, who is in charge of the breakfast area, is awesome. She is so cheerful and attentive and has a smile for everyone. -Shower has excellent water pressure and hot water. The shower head is high up, which I like as a tall person. -Cold air conditioning, large bathroom vanity, free parking. Deltas -Burn marks on one bed cover and the extra blanket (I talked to the folks at the front desk, and they had housekeeping change those out.) -One dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. -The blinds could be more private. You can see through the spaces pretty easily.

I have been regular guest for over twenty years, that says it all. They upgrade and remodel often, breakfast is good, people first rate. Location is quite and I always sleep good. I'll keep coming back!

Always enjoy staying at the Best Westerns chains. Clean,friendly staff,great breakfast choices. They're usually well located and near the shopping places and activities in the surrounding areas. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff are all very professional and conduct themselves in a very professional manner.

We have always like staying here. The location is close to the interstate and other activities in Vicksburg. The breakfast is great. There are a lot of restaurants close by for lunch or dinner and. It far from the casinos.

A great place to stay. We came here for 2 nights on vacation as we were headed south.The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It's also very dog friendly. I like that the doors open to the outside rather than into a hallway.

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was hot with plenty of pressure. The breakfast was super. Christina was especially helpful at breakfast. She helped people with their waffles, kept all the food filled, and asked us several times if there was anything she could do for us. The people at the front desk at check in and check out were also friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs.

I've visited Best Western several times in several cities, always have a great stay here. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, the staff always courteous and helpful. Become a member, you'll get discounted rates. I am never disappointed staying here.

We were driving north and stopped here and happy to do so. The rooms are very nice and so is the staff. Breakfast was very good and we had a nice stay. The hotel is outside of Vicksburg, but if you have a car it's ok.

I got a room with a king sized bed. Room also had a refrigerator, microwave, small coffee maker. Small room divider between bed and small sitting area with a couch and coffee table. Stayed one night on my way south. Choose it for being close to the civil war Military Park. Close by is a grocery store and several restaurants. Free breakfast was good. Staff very friendly.

Its been some time since I stayed at a Best Western and, after 3 nights at the BW Vicksburg, I will now be looking to stay here again and at other BW's when I travel. This location exceeded my expectations in every way..clean, well maintained, large room, comfy king bed, tasty breakfasts and friendly staff. Location was a bit unique...through a narrow drive between a car dealership and a Waffle House and up a hill. Not a big deal, just set back from the frontage road. Grocery store, fast food, and Shell station nearby. Indoor pool and fitness room were in excellent shape. All in all, a top notch motel at a very reasonable rate.

Every morning the breakfast is made hot and ready and the people that work there are so nice and the food is the best food I have ever had in a hotel and the cleaning people also do a great job on your room

This is an older property, built as a motel with room doors to the outside. It's been marginally renovated as a Best Western property. The motel has two levels accessed by outdoor stairs. Our top-floor room developed ceiling leaks during the rain on our one evening in Vicksburg. We used the trash can and towels to contain the water as much as possible. When discussing this with the front desk the next morning, we initially were offered $10 off our stay. Only after calling Best Western corporate directly for assistance were we comped this sub-par stay. There are many options in Vicksburg, we won't be choosing this Best Western property again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Vicksburg MS Best Western. The service has been amazingly accommodating and not to mention the breakfast is delicious. Thank you, Christie for making our mornings wonderful.

We stayed at this hotel for one night while on our way to Memphis. It is an excellent value - the prices are very reasonable. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. This is not a fancy hotel at all but it is a clean affordable option. The front desk folks were very nice and friendly and Christine the excellent breakfast lady made me waffles. The breakfast room was very clean and had sausage patty, omelette, sausage gravy, biscuits, cereals and some patties. There were bananas, oranges and apples for people to take. I would suggest the hotel add a fruit salad or cut up melon. Overall very good stay and much less expensive than the other hotels. Would recommend.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was greeted every time I entered the building. Rooms were clean and up-to-date with all the amenities you would need. They also have an impressive hot breakfast!

Could use some upgrading but it was clean and the employees made up for any shortcomings. The blinds weren't cheap but didnt block out the outside lights all the way. Breakfast was VERY good and Cristina went out of her way to help everyone. Not in a over the top way either. Ive been places where they bored line aggravating. She obviously knows what shes doing and did a great job. Front desk was extremely nice and personable. That goes a long way

Great staff and Christina was very helpful during breakfast. The rooms are clean and pillows are softer than your normal hotel pillows. Will definitely keep staying here while in the area. Plenty of parking even have area for semi trucks to park.

Building looks new, rooms are clean and look new. Pool was great to swim in. The only issue was the snack machine wad nkot working properly. The hotel is right off the freeway, easy on and off. The staff is amazing!

We were passing through Vicksburg needing a place to stop. It was complicated because we were traveling with a utility trailer (needing roomier parking) and two small dogs. We had hoped to stop earlier on our eastward trek but were unable to find the necessary accommodations in Monroe or Reston. I am so greatful. This hotel is truly a gem. Our room was large and spotless. The mattress was so comfy and I slept like a log. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, etc. and quiet tasty. The staff is gracious and friendly. This is a definite re-visit when we are passing through.

This hotel was a jewel with the best service and accommodations. Our king room was very clean and also spacious. The hotel staff were a real pleasure and made our stay comfortable. A special shout out to Christina in the breakfast area: She was very friendly, welcoming and a great ambassador for Best Western.

On a road trip across America with our little dog we have stayed at many similar hotels, but nowhere did we receive treatment like Cristina gave us. A beautiful welcoming smile at 6:30 am, an offer to make us a waffle, then serving it with packets of butter---this made this stay unique and special. An average hotel rose to an extraordinary experience because of one competent, cheerful person.

My wife and Me was on the road and needed a room for the night. The room was clean, quiet and very spacious. We were very pleased. The breakfast was very good. I have stayed at best western hotels twice recently and both times I have been very pleased.

Friendly staff, clean room, nice and comfortable, the BEST breakfast we've ever experienced at a hotel. Christine in the breakfast area was very nice, helpful, and it was a delightful way to start the day. Great location. Close to restaurants, parks and downtown. Really liked that they accept pets...and smokers. The price was totally worth every penny. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and appearance was good for 2 star. Room had a smell.. like a person that hasn't shampoo hair / bathed in while. Pillows are tiny knot balls, size of small sofa pillow. Sheets nor mattress cover would not stay on bed. Put back on several times during night but still woke up on mattress. Dog near barked. People in and out, doors shutting, people stomping in room above, car alarm going off every few minutes. You could hear everything!

This hotel has been recently updated since our last stay in Sept '17 and our stay in Dec '17 was very pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. We travel with a pet and require a smoking room and so it is a challenge to find a "clean and decent" hotel to accommodate our needs. The hotel is easily accessed from I-20 and is close to a number of brand name restaurants and stores. Fairly priced and overall a very nice place to stay.

We enjoyed our brief stay. Rooms were small but well-furnished and mostly clean (a couple burn marks on one bed cover and one dirty towel left behind, likely overlooked because it was hanging on the back of the door). But what really stood out was the tasty hot breakfast and the very friendly staff, from the overnight desk clerk to the early morning desk clerk and especially Cristina in the breakfast area. Their service was superior to many more expensive hotels. And you can't beat the price for a kid and pet-friendly hotel. I would give it 4 1/2 stars if that was possible. Would stay again.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast prepared by a little old lady, unfortunately whose name I do not remember, was excellent, and every member of the staff we interacted with was very friendly. Next time I drive through that area, I would definitely stay there again.

The indoor pool and hot breakfast make this hotel a real value! The hotel was kid and pet friendly. Just what we needed for an overnight on a long trip. If you have a pet downstairs near the end is the best spot.

Bed super comfortable however who in the world made the decision to get HALF pillows? Who? It's a square! Cristina in the food area was fabulous. Cheerful and helpful Breakfast was actually pretty good. We are low carb. Got fruit and eggs I would stay here again.

We stopped over on our trip to Texas. This was on Christmas Eve. Desk agent was very pleasant and got us set up right away. On Christmas morning stopped in around 5am to fresh hot coffee and an offer from the desk agent to grab us some danishes. Christine had a fresh hot breakfast ready when we got around at 6:30 and made sure we had everything we needed. Fantastic crew. The place was very clean and well appointed and updated. Thanks guys

My overall experience was great kind staff and the only problems I had was the internet kept dropping out and when I went to brew my coffee because I am a coffee drinker I found the old tea bags in the coffee pot water reservoir took him out and try to make a cup of coffee after running several cups of water through it but it still had that tea flavor mixed with my coffee but other than that it was a pleasant stay

The person in charge of breakfast was very loud , laughing, cutting up with the men in the breakfast room. We could not read, watch TV or talk to each other. A very unpleasant experience. Also, the biscuits were cold and hard. She was not available to offer help because of her visiting with the guests. Our room was across from the vending machines and the light lit up our room all night. We could not close the drapes. Also the noise from guests getting ice was irritating. Did not get a good nights sleep because of this!

The staff is very friendly and offer great customer service. Front desk is very helpful and Christina makes some of the best breakfast I have had. Overall great place to stay! I would definitely stay again!!!! ????????????

The hotel is comfortable and the staff friendly. We were cold from our bike trip when we arrived and were given hot coffee in the nice lobby and the heating put on in our room so it was warm when we went in. The breakfast prepared by Cristina was good including fresh fruit and bread - thanks everyone for our great stay

I read other good reviews and wanted to give it a try since it was a 'nicer' hotel with good reviews, good price, and decent location. We were not disappointed. From the time we arrived to the time we left we were very satisfied. We checked in late and were tired from the drive. The lady at the desk was very friendly and nice. The room was easily accessible on the bottom floor and first impression was very good. Loved the pictures of Vicksburg on the wall. My wife found the bed kinda firm, but I liked it. The pillows were also nice and cushy. The room was a little compact though. We had a double bed for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids) and it didn't bother us, but we did walk over each other a few times and I could see how that might bother some people. But to have a fridge and microwave in the room made the compactness worth it for us. The indoor pool area was nice. The breakfast was very good and the lady cooking it was very nice and friendly. There is a Papa John's and Waffle House next door. Everything looked clean and pleasant. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. Thank you Best Western Vicksburg!

Quiet hotel, friendly staff, didn't get to use the pool because of the nature of our trip but it was open & looked clean. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. Several good places to eat within a 10-15 minute drive.

I spent 5 nights in this hotel. Overall, its a good place for solo or family visitors. Internet was very good and breakfast meets my expectations. Staff and customer service is great. However, no good restaurants near by to eat but couple of places in 10 min drive. If you are looking for great TV service, you may be little disappointed.

Excellent location and staff very helpful room clean and comfortable. Easy access to the highway I-20 . Restaurant nearby as well as drugstore and supermarket. Quality service with great communication of what Vicksburg has to offer in historical sites.

This place was an enjoyable stay. The breakfast they served was pretty good. It included the typical continental breakfast, but they also had scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy. I have no complaints about the condition of the room or the facility.

The hotel itself is similar to other hotels we've stayed at that were built alike and used the the same floor plan. It is almost exactly like a Quality Inn we stay at in a small town in Texas. It is an older hotel, but the rooms were comfortable though drab. Breakfast was fine also. It seemed to be a bit expensive for the quality, but maybe prices are higher there due to the Vicksburg battleground attraction.

Previous reviews did not disappoint! This hotel is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Rooms are very spacious, tidy and spotless. Breakfast was great with plenty of options and check in was quick and painless! Too bad we didn't get to take advantage of the indoor pool. I will definitely consider staying here again for any future trips thru! I have a new respect for Best Western if they are all this nice!

To be an older place it is in excellent condition. We had family stay here on a trip to Georgia and recommended it to us. The rooms were exceptionally clean and large. The breakfast in the morning very good, and Christina is definitely an asset to the dining room. She was friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests. You certainly don't always find employees who seem to enjoy their job and the people they interact with. Would definitely stay here again when traveling through

Always a clean, well-appointed room - hotel staff members are very friendly and go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable - breakfast is very good with a nice selection of hot and cold items - overall the best place we have stayed in Vicksburg

The best western Vicksburg is very nice. Nice landscaping, the location is good. The clerk helped us find brochures and maps when we checked in. The breakfast tasted better than some motel food. Christina was very helpful, asked if I needed anything and made a waffle for me. We did not have any problems with out stay at the motel.You have to go in the driveway right after the waffle house before the car dealership to get back to the motel.

Many thanks to christine in the breakfast room who provided great service and was very kind and pleasant. It is her type of service that makes guests feel special. Hotel is clean, nothing fancy, no problems except a malfunctioning toilet.

I was originally going to stay at one of the lower priced motels in Vicksburg, but they all received questionable reviews, so I decided to spend just a few extra dollars to stay at the Best Western. Best decision I could have made. Over all the hotel was very clean and the staff quite nice and helpful. There is a rather nice grocery store within walking distance if you need something to eat at night. The breakfast.......you get a warm breakfast included with your room. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage links, along with the usual items. I hope they keep the room rates where they are ($90 range for me). Its very well worth the few extra bucks over the lowest priced chain/franchise hotels in Vicksburg.

Good desk clerk upon arrival. Very friendly, professional, and helpful. Old style motel type facility with exterior doors for each room (opening onto the parking lot sidewalk or on a balcony walkway). Rooms are newly remodeled and in excellent condition. Clean and comfortable.

This is a good location with a very helpful staff. The free hot and/or cold breakfast was great - Christina was very nice assisting with breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean. It would have been nice to have a sleep timer for the television.

This Best Western has clean rooms, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast presentation, It is a two story motel with rooms that have entrances outside rather than in indoor hallways. This makes it look a bit dated, but the rooms are very nice and my wife and I were completely comfortable with the security. The room has digital TV with cable, a small refrigerator, microwave, comfortable love seat, desk and desk chair, and is well lit. Strong wifi, at least in the room we had. It is located on the hill just off the road and I missed seeing it at first. The Waffle House shares the entrance driveway. We plan to stay here on my return trip.

Good value for your travel dollar can be found here. Conveniently located near tourist sites, shopping and restaurants, this property can be found sitting well off the Interstate frontage road so that road noise is not an issue. This is the second time we've stayed here in the past year, and both times we've found the property to be clean, the service very good and the staff accommodating. With plenty of hot water, sink and shower drains that work as designed, varied hot and cold breakfast, well lighted parking area and reasonable rates, this property presents good value.

Yes, it has exterior corridors, and is on the highway, but 1000 feet or so back and actually pretty quiet. Hard working staff trying to please us all the time. Good exercise room and large inside pool right off the lobby. Rooms were clean and good. Breakfast was basic but good. We would stay here again.

We asked for quiet rooms, but were situated in front of the vending machines. The rooms both smelled unpleasant and the air conditioning didn't help at all, nor did opening the doors. We were in a dank dark area of the hotel and were not happy. Definitely would not stay here again.

OK hotel, no major issues. Our room(105) was buried in a tunnel type set up between the pool and rooms, with more of he building over head, so we were in a cave type atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy, but internet service was poor, probably due to the location of the room. OJ at brekkie was very weak, but meal quality was good.

All the way around this place had fantastic customer service. We were in town for business for several weeks. Every day we woke up to beautiful smiling Christine who makes breakfast and the happy old man at the front desk. Very nice stay.

Our lifestyle brings us frequently thru Vicksburg for business and pleasure and we always at the Vicksburg Best Western. Our usual stay in one or two nights at a time. We have tried other hotels in the area and Best Western has the friendliest people, clean accommodations, great breakfast and great value.

After 30+ days on the road, our accomodations have run the gamut from pretty bad (Creekside in Charleston) to OK, to good and now to GREAT. Vicksberg BW gets the GREAT score. The bed, room, wi-fi,shower,staff, cleanliness, excellent breakfast, friendly staff combined with reasonable rate gets the top award. Special thanks to Cristina on the breakfast bar for the real (not powdered) eggs who served it all up with a beautiful smile.

All employees there went out of theor way to help us, answered any questions we had. So kind. Very nice room, couldn't hear the neighbors. Felt like a real vacation. No problems at all! We would recommend this place to all who visit there.

We were only in Vicksburg for less than a day (the quintessential US 61 road trip) and only needed a low-cost place to stay. For what we paid, we were delighted. The facility is modern, room was clean and comfortable, good bed, free wi-fi, and a well-appointed breakfast the next morning. Good location, easy to find. High marks all around.

I stopped in without a reservation. Front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Room was super clean and at an inviting temperature upon arrival. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Larger than expected fridge and a microwave. There was free internet but we did not use it. We used the indoor pool, which was nice and clean. Our complimentary breakfast was good and the make-your-own waffles were AMAZING! All staff that we encountered were nice and friendly. We were sure about the location because we were not familiar with Vicksburg, but it turned out to be a great location for the activities we had planned. A+ hotel!!

Comfy beds, clean room and bath, breakfast was very tasty and the dining room attendant Christina made sure we had plenty to eat. Have rewards card and was able to use coupon for dollars off of the room price.

Staff was very attentative to our needs. Breakfast server had personality plus. Location was great for our visit. The only issue we had was finding the driveway up to the Hotel. If you drive past the Ford Dealership you have gone to far.

We stayed for one night. This is essentially a motel but the rooms are clean and the staff were helpful. There are no decent restaurants nearby so you need to drive into town to eat. It was fine but nothing special.

My only negative review is that we didn't get to stay longer. We will come back soon and stay at this location. Its location was easy to get to and centrally located to all the activities we had planned. We had such bad experience with breakfast at the last two BW's we opted to skip breakfast and get an early start back towards home.

We had a one night stay on our way back home from Irma. The motel is pet friendly and very clean. The front desk checkin went very smooth. Breakfast was fantastic with Christina! Would love to have spent more time in Vicksburg.

We loved our stay, the rooms were clean, the people are nice, and the location was fantastic. Don't eat at the waffle house at the bottom of the hill though. They are not nice people. We had a great breakfast and they even let us leave our vehicles to go see the sights in Mississippi.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Vicksburg, MS. The hotel seemed quite full but we experienced no delays in anything. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. We used the fitness room, which was in good working order. The parking was close, the hotel close to the interstate. Breakfast was good with a lot of items, hot and cold, to choose from.

We have stayed here before. The bed was comfortable. The staff was great, friendly and efficient. The breakfast was wonderful. Hot and tasty. I'd recommend this stop for sure. Easy to get to and easy to get back on the interstate.

This is a yearly stopping point for us in route to go fishing. Very clean rooms, great staff. Rooms are comfortable and the free breakfast really makes for a good start. Christina the least in charge of the breakfast area is the best. She makes you feel like you are in her home. Gracious southern hospitality at its best.

On our way to Chattanooga from Branson stopped for the night. Room was large and clean. Christine at the breakfast always has a smile on her face. She is very accommodating, even willing to prepare your waffles for you.

We have stayed at this hotel more than once and will return. We left a pillow in the room and the staff called to tell us about it. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. The HVAC system can be set so the fan will run continuously without the annoying cycling on and off one gets at many hotels. Very clean and comfortable.

The front desk lady was super nice when we checked it. I had given her a call earlier about availability. The driveway was interesting to maneuver in our Corvette. Parking spaces seemed tight due to BIG trucks on both sides of us. Breakfast was OK, the room was a little small. No concessions shop to get water, husband walked down the hill to a small grocery to get it.

Breakfast was awesome as soon as we walked in the room Christina was right there to help. She even made the waffles for me and set our table with silverware and napkins. This is an older hotel that has been updated. The lobby and pool are very attractive and the rooms have had a make-over. The breakfast was made with love and the dining room was spotless! The staff was all excellent. The hotel is dog friendly with a reasonable pet fee.

I love going to a place where I feel comfortable and safe, that is exactly what I felt here. Loved exercising in the indoor pool. The room was roomy and clean. The hot breakfast was great; was not the same old thing every morning. The breakfast room was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Check in and out was easy and the entire staff from check in to check out was awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit while my husband worked.

One of the best things about this hotel was the breakfast part! Christine (I think her name was) was very nice and even made waffles for us! How sweet! The room was good too and the hotel is close to a supermarket as well as some nice dining options. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.

Stayed here at this Inn on our way to Maine. This is a clean and nice place to stay. The staff was nice and helpful as we checked in. The room 110-A was clean and on the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Continental Breakfast was good.

Stayed here on our way to Florida. Room was nice and clean- stayed in a Deluxe King. Reasonably priced, and plenty of complimentary breakfast options. Did not use the pool area, but it looked clean and well maintained also.

This motel is clean with plain rooms and very small bathrooms . No extra towels so use sparingly. Very easy check in and friendly staff. Breakfast was standard for a BW and coffee was delicious! We would stay here again if in the area. It is very convenient to the National Park.

Traveling from TX to NC this was our first night stop. Very pleasant experience. Check-in staff extremely helpful and friendly. Good night rest despite being in a room with ice/vending right outside our door. Breakfast area was good size and very clean thanks to Cristina seeing that every table was clean. She also prepared the waffles and brought to the table along with syrup. Nothing but praise for everyone at this Best Western.

Everyone was very kind and friendly. Breakfast was good, Christina offers to make you waffles. Room was large, clean. Wifi was good. its 5 minutes away from my worksite, and within my organizations allowed limit.

Let's be honest, expectations are not high for a motel on the interstate frontage road. But I was very pleasantly surprised (read to the end for my one complaint). Everything seemed very new, clean, and fresh. The room had a fridge (and I think I remember a microwave), which I don't think was included in the description. The beds were very comfortable (the most important thing), as were the linens and pillows (which often is not the case). No complaints about any of the bathroom fixtures or linens. When we checked in, the person at the desk was peasant, as was the staff person at breakfast. Breakfast was unremarkable, but they had everything we needed to get a decent meal before hitting the road. They had a functioning waffle maker, which is my son's criteria for a good breakfast. Importantly, there was a staff person in the breakfast room at all times, and she did a great job of keeping things stocked, as well as checking on the needs of guests and keeping the area (including tables) clean. The only complaint I had is that they put wood blinds on the window, instead of the usual blackout curtains. This is less private, and light floods the room early as the sun comes up.

We were traveling from Tennessee to Texas and stopped at the Best Western Vicksburg for the night. I had booked online with no hassles. When we arrived the front desk help was extremely helpful with all our requests and needs. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay.

Christina was absolutely awesome in hosting breakfast! Delicious and the service was great! Room was fine. Slept well. Everyone was friendly. I would recommend this. The only issue I had was in finding the drive up to it.

Decent location just off the Interstate. Internet was a bit slow and could be improved. Hotel staff was accommodating for requests. Breakfast was included and of satisfactory quality. Close tobatyledirld and other historical areas of interest.

We had roaches and other small bugs in the room.. had to stay up half the night on bug patrol... the Internet was slow to non-existence, I finally had to use the hot-spot from my phone in order to get on line. The pool is "old" and we decided NOT to get in.. over all not a good stay here

Hotel is conveniently located right off I-20 on Frontage Rd. Easy to get to. Several restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. Check in was easy and quick. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean ( a must ) and tastefully decorated. Bed was comfortable with nice linens and pillows. Room stayed cool even with temps nearing 100 degrees outside. Nice amenities including indoor pool, fitness room, laundry facility, and free breakfast. Highly recommended.

Stopped while in Vicksburg for a overnite stay and found the front desk person very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable the beds slept well and rooms were well kept. Enjoyed the stay and will be back if we need to stay here again.
