Our hotel offers a bar, living room, computer and modem connection, air-conditioned, ISDN phone connection, satellite television, mini-bar and a digital safe. Our conference rooms are equipped with simultaneous translation and recording facilities, audio/visual, copying equipments and photo print. Conference lunch is available on request. Enjoy your stay.
Nice hotel with helpful staff, prices about average. Large room with good bed but the shower was a strange elevated jetted thing that had no grab bars to get in and out and it was slippery. Nice toiletries except for soap- there was only a squeeze bottle thing on the wall by sink and in shower that was hard to use. Breakfast was just average but internet was bad. Had to re- loggin every time you came back in the room- expected better from a Best Western. There is a parking garage and some on street parking.
Convenient location. Used by tour companies. Friendly staff. Room had small balcony with view of other building's rear. Average size rooms. Luggage drop off in front of hotel. Easy ingress and egress from city.
We got to the hotel after a horrible expirience in FAttorie saint pietro in san giminiano. We called the hotel and asked if we can come imiddiatlly. They were very kind and nice. We moved there for 2 nights. Hotel room is clean, warm, nice breakfast, very kind staff thay helped us alot. Thanks to them we had a good days in firenze. The hotel has a parking lot, its close to Autostrada and has bus stations near by to go to the city in 10 minots. Was perfect! Recomended!!!

Dear MoranN32, thank you very much for your feedback, but we are located in Verona and not in Firenze. Best Regards
we enjoyed the best western and would come again. staff was extremely friendly, breakfast was great, room was very good, bathroom a bit small but typical for Italy, close location to sights, overall great!
Very, very nice hotel. Not far from the old town area (5 minute walk), has a nice bar area (the toilets in the bar are worth a visit!). The room we had was fantastic, with a jacuzzi shower. The breakfast was amazing, including a full honeycomb and some incredible cakes. Being a Best Western we thought that this hotel was maybe a bit expensive, but having visited it was well worth the money, it's a very pleasant place to visit. Definately going to go back, Verona is a lovely city and this is a lovely hotel.
We stayed in this hotel for two summer nights with two small children (2 and 3) in a family room. The room, living room and bathroom were very clean. The air-conditioning worked well and quietly. We had a simple (some meat and cheese) dinner on the first night together with excellent cocktails in the bar area. The buffet breakfast consisted of a wide choice of fresh cheese, meat, cornflakes, different types of marmalade, eggs...the works. The location: a five minute walk to the old city centre and the Roman arena. The parking lots close by cost 20 Euro per day.
We stayed here for a week in Verona primarily to visit the opera. We had an Executive Room on the first floor overlooking the main road on the front, but it was very quiet. The air conditioning worked well and the WiFi was the fastest I have experienced in a hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful - we had a problem with the safe and it was fixed almost immediately. Breakfast is good - cereal, fruit, meat, cheese, cake ..... There is a comfortable lounge and seats outside if it's not too hot for you. We would certainly stay again.
Fabulous hotel in a great location near the old town of Verona. Staff are very helpful, very clean, and receptionist are extremely helpful. Breakfast ?? is very good also, enjoyed my stay very much and would return.
The hotel is well located. With about 5 minutes on foot, you are in the old centre. The hotel room is very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with a good variety of food. If you come by car, you will pay 20 euros for the parking per day.
Stayed here 3 nights to visit Verona and go to the opera. The hotel is located 10 mins stroll from the heart of the old city and the Arena. It is clean, comfortable and have friendly helpful staff. It is a 5 mins walk from main bus and train station, where you can catch the airport bus (15 mins, 6 euros) or the red open top tourist bus.
We stayed for 3 nights and their friendliness and customer service was excellent. My husbands case was taken by another traveller on Ryanair and they sorted it all out and gave us the contact number and email of the orher petson to arrange to exchange cases. The mobile phone facility was very useful for tourist information. The room was spotless and the nice touches of chocolates and cookie by the bed every night, the jacuzzi bath and toiletries with sewing kit and loads of other things was excellent. The room was very quiet even though the housekeepers cupboard was by our door never heard a thing. I had a mishap during our stay i stumbled and badly twisted my ankle and the staff asked how i was each day. I would highly recommend this hotel my husband and I have stayed in some 5 star UK hotels and haven't felt as comfortable and looked after as we did here. Its convenient for the train station which is an excellent service and also good for some superb local restaurants. We will definitely stay again.
Hotel is midway between the station and the gateway to the old city of Verona on a busy tree-lined avenue. We were on the first floor with a balcony looking out on the avenue and it was lovely to sit out in the evening with a bottle of wine and watch the world go by. The room was good, if a little on the small side. The en suite bathroom was beautiful and included a shower which included a Jacuzzi option and also a Turkish (steam?) option. There was an instruction folder included in the room, but we just ended up having a standard shower, which was great anyway. The toiletries supplied were great and included everything you would need for a pleasant shower. A lot of the materials were branded consistently, which was a nice touch. We did have a few issues with the AC - at one point the room was freezing and we couldn't work out how to turn it down, so during the night we ended up taking the room key out to turn off the electricity!
Hotel lies very conveniently nearby the Train station, just a short walk to the centre of the along a wide and quiet boulevard. A rather large hotel with a few different types of rooms, some with balconies. Quiet neighborhood despite the rather central location. Good standard of rooms, some with jacuzzi, good breakfast with large variety of choices, nice served. Good and quick service on the arrival/departure. Breakfast is very expensive in our opinion. Rooms are rather small. We asked for a quiet superior room but unfortunately got quite the opposite, a room near the house-keeping storage room, with the high-louded cleaning and running from 08,00 until at least 17,00. Very unpleasant, strange to get such a room when we asked for quiet and undisturbed stay. Do not think we will return for another stay.
Stayed before, been renovated, offers very comfortable rooms, great staff, terrific location, very good value ( except when they treble the price on Opera season). We stayed one night on the way in to Italy which was before the Opera, and tried to book our return, which was during the Opera, only to find prices jacked up. Other that that, would recommend.
Paid extra for king executive rooms and was worth the extra space. Well situated for main sights. Breakfast was reasonably priced at 10 euros but due to groups staying and eating together sometimes had to wait for hot food to appear
We stayed here with friends for 4 nights and had rooms across the hall from each other which meant we could easily visit. Until recently our hotel chain of choice had been Accor (Novotel/Mercure range) but, if this hotel is anything to go by, we would now consider Best Western first. The staff were welcoming and the rooms were well appointed with efficient air conditioning. The room felt spacious with plenty of storage space, meaning we could easily store our luggage and belongings. The breakfast was lovely - a wide selection and regularly topped up (even as they headed towards end of service). The location was great - an easy walk to both the old town and the train station for day trips to Venice and Lake Garda. Overall, we were very impressed with both the hotel and the location!
We had a great stay at this hotel. It was close to the station and a short taxi ride from the airport as well as being a 10 min walk from the city. Our family room on the 5th floor was light, bright and spacious with a great view from the balcony. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and had efficient air conditioning. The beds were comfortable, even though quite firm. It was lovely to have a fridge in the room to keep milk for tea and coffee, and there was plenty of cupboard space to store clothes etc. The buffet style breakfast was excellent value with a good choice of hot and cold food and drink. All the staff were friendly and polite.
Our room on the 2nd floor was very small and cramped. There was a fold luggage rack but absolutely no where to put it, so with two bags it made it difficult to move around and I was glad I was only there one night. Comfortable beds, friendly staff, extremely well provisioned bathroom, nice console by the bed to control the lights and shutters, good breakfast good location close to the railway station. I would have given it a better rating if the room had been bigger, as it was, it was not good value for money.
The BW Firenze is a short walk from the Stazione Porta Nuova right on the Corso Porta Nuova which leads you straight into the town center so it is ideally situated. Checkin was quick and allocated room on the second floor which faced the rear of the building, some rooms do face the Corso but the window shutters are really good and block the light and sound. The room was pretty , perhaps a little old fashioned but clean nonetheless, the bed comfortable and the wifi worked well. Kettle to make tea and coffee and fridge/mini bar for your water. There was also a handy little cell phone which you could bring out with you, full of local information. The bathroom was a good size, easy to use shower with lots of extra spouts to direct water all over you !! Breakfast was not included in my rate but there are numerous place very near in which to have pastry and coffee in the morning or it was €10 extra per person if I took it at the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, spoke good English and other languages too, I'm sure and happy to help with directions or storing your case when you checked out. Little internet corner just off the lobby by the bar to printout your boarding pass if needed or just to check your email. The hotel is about a 10 minute stroll into the city or less if you are a quick walker but only minutes from the Stazione . Verona is a beautiful city so take time to enjoy it and walk along the river or the Giusti gardens. Do get the Verona card which was €18 for 1 day, it pays for itself after you visit the arena and the Lamberti tower so it is excellent value, other sights are also included as well as free travel in the city from the tourist office opposite the arena.
We fond this hotel a very good experience, great service, nice comfortable room and bed. The location is close to the train station and the tourist sites. Our housekeeping always left a treat and coffee. Bar tender friendly and helpful.
Location: on Corso Porta Nuova, a large avenue that takes you to the city centre in a 5 to 10 minute walk. It's a good choice if you arrive in Verona by car and want to stay close to the city centre without actually having to drive in it. The railway station is a 10 minute walk away, if you know the way because you have to pass a few rather complicated crossings. Premises: looks pretty average on the outside, but inside you find decently modern common areas, though nothing with much grandeur (do you need it though?) Service: staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast: good choice of products but without being out of the ordinary; low quality of bread but good juices. Room: not overly spacious but efficient decorated and clean, no street noise as there are blinds you can electrically let down; the bathroom was spacious and with everything in good working order... and had a jacuzzi. WiFi: reliable and fast in the room and all common places Overall: good value for money, and an excellent choice if you arrive by car (garage is available at request).
Friendly, efficient staff! Great location, close to the train station, walk to the town centre in 10 minutes. Great breakfast included in the price! Would highly recommend this hotel! Rooms are spotless and very comfortable!
The hotel is very good. The location is great and the shower is awesome!!!! The only problem is that I was at the 1st floor and I could hear all the noises in the street. I woke up late at night because people were screaming in front of the hotel. If you go there, just ask for a higher floor.
Ideal location only about 10 minutes from the railway station and 10 minutes from the city centre. Reception staff gave excellent restaurant recommendations, and helped with the storage of a wheelchair. Room was warm and clean with tea and coffee facilities, safe and mini bar also, but didn't use it. The shower was very powerful. Chocolate and slippers left by the bed. Breakfast was very good, great selection, tea and coffee via a self service machine. Breakfast is 10 euros well spent as didn't need to eat until the evening!
The staff were extremely helpful with taxis and tourist information. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Great location for catching the sites in Verona. Can't wait to return and stay again!
Stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Room was clean and tidy. Quiet room, Spacious bathroom and very good breakfast. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi shower. Yes it's a Jacuzzi shower, not Jacuzzi bath. 15 minutes walk to the Piazza Bra and 15 minutes walk to the train station. There were kettle, tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was important to me to have a cup of tea before breakfast. However, some of the staff at reception didn't seem so friendly.
This is a clean comfortable hotel 10 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the Piazza Bra and Arena so near the heart of everything. We walked everywhere in Verona and found the hotel very well placed indeed. The bedroom was excellent although the pillows are a but hard for my taste. The bed itself was good although not particularly soft, but I slept well only to have a bad neck from the pillows the next day! The shower and the jacuzzi were fine. Some may find it a little strange but we enjoyed both. The air conditioning tended to have a mind of its own . Open a window and it stopped. The temperature control was to my mind "interesting" and in no way perfect. The television was a disappointment to English speakers. Whilst there were loads of Italian channels as you would expect, and German as well, the English channels were BBC World News, France 24 in English, Russia today and Al Jazzera apart from CNN CNBC and Bloomberg. Oh, and a channel which was obviously screening Chinese propaganda constantly.A little light relief would have been nice! Why it is beyond the management to realise that there are a lot of English speaking guests who would actually like to watch tv but not news news news or propaganda? The free wifi was a joke. It didn't work very well at all and you had to get a new password and username( all numbers and letters) from reception very day. Why can't the hotel have a username being the name of the guest and the password being the room number? Not beyond the technical ability of people surely? Breakfast down in the basement was good value at 20 euros. Not the most exciting ever, but plenty of choice and worth going to instead of hunting for a restaurant first thing in the morning. Our main problem was the lift. Going down to breakfast 3 of us were stuck just above the -1 floor( there is also -2) The doors wouldn't open and the lift appeared dead. There are two lifts, both small and in constant use. It became very hot very quickly and I was frightened since I am claustrophobic so really started to worry very quickly. The management got us out within about 10 minutes so not bad, I commend the speed and the fact that they were straight onto the job, but we were more than a little nervous about using the lift again. We were given a free breakfast as a gesture which was nice and welcome. The staff were friendly and the hotel pretty good apart from the facts mentioned above. Would I stay there again? Probably, but I hope they sort the a/c , tv, wifi, and lift out first!

Dear Iliasmav, thank you for taking you time in reviewing Hotel Firenze: our guests' opinion are very important to us. We really are sorry for the inconvenient with the lift, which luckily we were able to sort out. About the a/c we would like to apologize, but unfortunately with october (because winter is coming!) in our region we are not allowed to use it and maybe that is why you couldn't make it work. Like you, other english speaking guests, pointed out the need of different channels in english language and you are perfectly right: we hope to solve this matter as soon as possible. The wi-fi is a matter we are trying to solve with our technician since months to find a way to make it easier and that can also work with our system, we know that for now it's not at its best, but we still prefer to give the service rather than suspend it. We are grateful for your suggestions and we will surely do our best to improve our service thanks to your comments. We hope to have you here again! Best Regards
My wife and I stayed 2 nights with a prepaid reservation. After arriving by morning train from Brescia, we walked 650 meters northeast to this hotel. An English speaking clerk took our passports before storing our bags. After lunch at the Pizzeria Bar Delle Nazioni just around the corner, we returned at 2PM, taking the elevator up to Room #118. The moderate sized room had a comfortable queen with 2 shelved nightstands, desk with refer below and hot pot above, 3 chairs, closet wardrobe, wall TV(BBC, CNBC, CNN), and beautifully tiled and fully outfitted bathroom(with overly complicated glass shower steam cabinet). Although the large double insulated window opened to the front sidewalk view, it was quiet to sleep. We enjoyed good secure wifi and their well serviced 7AM breakfast buffet that included much more than we could sample. Because we walked 800 meters N to the Euro Spar(Google had mis marked a Supermercati Italiani across the street from our hotel), and more often into the city center, we would have preferred a closer hotel. Although we have enjoyed our economy room at this high quality 4*, it was expensive and not a value hotel for us.
Four night stay. Quiet comfortable room with big bed and all looks refurbished or new. Hotel 5minutes on foot to rail/bus station and 10 minutes to centre of town/ favourite restaurant/icecream. Good english spoken, very helpful and big breakfast. Never considered eating in. Bargain price for quality.
We stayed here for 1 night during the gnocchi festival. We arrived pretty early by train and walked to the hotel (7 minutes with luggage), they kept our luggage while we toured the city (we did everything by foot, you can see all the main attractions in half a day), and before the festival opening we came back to check in to the room. The hotel is beautiful, each room is unique with its design. Our room was very spacious and we had a little balcony. The beds were comfortable and breakfast plentiful. I would recommend this hotel and especially the gnocchi festival which was the best I visited in Italy. We had the time of our life that day.
In Italy, the star system has a formula but is worthless to a traveler as two four star hotels can be awful or great. Having stayed at Best Western Ala in Venice 4 years ago, as I was walking from train station I passed this one. While I probably got the rack rate of about 160 euros, like going to McDonalds, at Best Western you are always certain of what you are getting. It was a great hotel, and walking distance to train and city proper. The lady who checked me in helped me get my next Best Western Plus, the Hotel Adler in Innsbruck, and actually negotiated per their website, 119 euros per night, so I actually made out. This is the kind of hotel you would expect in the US, and is a real 4 star hotel, although I am giving it a 5. Great room, service, breakfast.
We are very disappointed in this hotel. The rooms are nice enough, but what they wouldn't do stands out to the kind of business they run.!! We had three rooms reserved for three couples, months in advance. Verona was our 4th stop in Italy. One of the couples had a family emergency, and had to leave for the states 5 days before we would be in Verona. Called the Hotel immediately and they said you have to make all requests in an email. They are THE ONLY Hotel, or Tour group that did not given them their money back. Their reasoning was " because you had a special rate we cannot refund the money." You would think that you would want a higher price for the room instead of our Spl rate? They offered the remaining couples free breakfasts - Breakfast priced at 3 euro's each. WOW what a gesture. The rooms were nice enough, but it is at the wrong end of town from where everything is located. Hotels are supposed to be about customer service...... they are not. Stay somewhere where they care about their customers.
PaoloSergioCucini, Manager at Best Western Hotel Firenze, responded to this review
Dear guests, thank you very much for taking your time in reviewing us. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay because of the reservation you made. Some 'special rate', as you stated, are called 'non-refundable'. Probably the other hotel you stayed in were booked with a different rate. A non-refundable rate, as the word says, implies that the guest will be charged upon booking time and the reservation will be no more cancellable or modifiable. These conditions are well explained in the booking engine you chose to book with. In booking a non-refundable reservation then you agree the terms and you are aware that you can loose your money in cases of emergencies - as yours. We are sorry that your judgment about our caring attitude is valued based on a non refundable reservation that you made, and we had the right to keep. We do care about our guest - as many other reviews can easily prove it - but we also do care about our business. We believe that good service is not paying you back for a reservation you made, but to make you feel comfortable in our hotel. Our genuine gesture, that you so kindly pointed out, was not only to offer you breakfast, but free minibar (which you used), and welcome drinks. We tried to make your stay comfortable and pleasant, we are sorry that our efforts not only were not enough but not appreciated. Best Regards Hotel Firenze Management
We returned to Hotel Firenze as our last stay, (in 2015), was so very good. On that occasion my only gripe was the problematic wi-fi and I'm glad to say that those problems have disappeared - so everything is now sweetness and light. It bears repeating that this hotel is not only excellent in its own right - but it is incredibly convenient for the railway station. It's an easy ten minute walk and has no serious obstacles - even if you are manoeuvring wheeled suitcases. This meant that we could take a day trip to both Mantua and Lake Garda. We then used the train to reach our next destination (Vicenza) for the bargain fare of €6. All things considered and weighed in the balance, the Firenze was the best of the three hotels we stayed in, on this trip. I struggle to find anything to be critical of to be honest. Well there is a very small one - the clock radio. It was an excellent unit, with large, easily readable numbers but with a very brightly lit back-light. So bright in fact that I had to turn it away from me, in order to get to sleep. The upside of that was, that it did provide an excellent night-light! This is my last review of the Firenze but rest assured, on future trips to Verona; this will be our first-choice hotel. Thoroughly recommended.
well situated hotel, although the walk from the station with bags feels longer than it appears on google maps, given the major road that needs crossing - and we got lost! Slightly surprised to be put in an annex, rather than the main hotel, but the room was good and extremely spacious. !0 minute walk to the amphitheatre and entry to the rest of Verona. breakfast was extra so we went out to a café, which was cheaper and more atmospheric
Great hotel. Wonderful barman on the Friday evening. All the staff we had contact with were very helpful. Easy walking distance to the Arena (We saw Madam Butterfly). Railway station just a short distance too. Good value.
Stayed here for two nights with my best pal in September. The hotel was very helpful and extremely friendly. Arranged taxis to meet us at the airport efficiently and without stress. Room was roomy, bathroom spacious, everything clean and fresh. Bed and pillow were THE BEST! Had such a great night sleep. Perfectly positioned for everything. Right on the edge of the main square but far enough away from any noise. Close enough for everything else. Safe and well lit to get in and out at night. Would recommend for all of the above. The breakfast however was awful. It was equivalent to eating cardboard. Other than the fresh whole fruit there was really nothing nutritious about the breakfast at all. the presentation was poor - I would expect cereals served in large glass containers, fresh fruit to be cut up and mixed in a salad bowl, various bread choices - instead it all seemed very packaged and very very cheap. For EUR 10 I would expect a very decent breakfast - considering a restaurant meal was only EUR 12 and it was extraordinary. Recommend the hotel to visit other hotels to find out how its done correctly . Other than that, the perfect stay! Really lovely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and clean rooms.
Great location between the train station and the city centre. Perfect room vs. price and being Best Western no surprises either (booked Superior double room). Pizzeria de la nacioni just around the corner for a great pizza.
We stayed here for a few nights. The parking was easy, the staff pleasant and breakfast good for both Europeans and Americans. The shower was unbelievable with all of the Jets and great after a long day of walking. The only drawback is that evening meals are limited along the Main Street where they are.
Stayed at this hotel for a 3 night break to visit the opera. Really enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was great with much choice, the staff were all really helpful and friendly and the location of the hotel is fantastic, not far from the railway station and about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Verona. Also about a 15 minute drive from the airport.
We stayed here for four nights. Superb location. Three mins in taxi from the station. Five minute walk from the Arena. Charming people in reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast offered. One of the best we have ever had in an hotel. So much choice. Our room was right on the front, but it was so quiet. Extremely comfortable beds. Good sized room. Air conditioning. Bathroom facilities were good. Plenty of hot water.
We stayed here for 5 nights in August as part of a long weekend to see Aida in the Amphitheatre. The room was just fine, spacious and clean with good a/c which we really needed as we arrived in the middle of a heat-wave. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are a few good places for breakfast nearby and out of the humdrum of the city. It is very convenient for the station if you want to get to the lake or visit other areas. It is about 10 minute walk to Piazza Bra which we found to be no problem and always plenty of people about. The only small problem was that the wifi was poor, however we will be back.
We had a very comfortable stay when we arrived in Verona from UK To then travel on to Florence. Returned to this hotel as we then ventured North to Lake Garda. Quiet room on 5th Floor with comfortable bed. Air conditioning coped with the very hot Italian summer. Friendly helpful staff and good breakfast provided.
Lovely little hotel, great location and very nice staff. Very helpful with our plans of what to see in the city. We would definitely stay again. One suggestion-modernise the bathrooms which were very dated
Excellent hotel in great location minutes from the centre. Rooms spacious and elegantly decorated, good size and airy. Friendly staff. Easy access to train station and bus service. Day trip to lake garda well within reach.
excelent localization. 10 minutes walk from the trains station. 10 minutes walk from praza bra, 15 minutes walking to giulieta s house. very good neibourghoud. excelent room, very ciinfirtable, excelent bathroom. very confortable bed. huge variety of chanels in tv. air condition perfect. very good service ffrom front desk and cleaning. excelent breakfast deserve each euro. very fast and reliable wi-fi
Had 2 nights for 5 of us (3 teenage girls & 2 adults) in 2 rooms here in mid July. Excellent hotel - staff brilliant, location between station and old city is perfect and walkable. Breakfast plentiful and high quality. Also - the bikes to hire at 4 euros/day were just perfect for hot days. Of course the arena is a big attraction and it's only a 10 min walk back after the performance. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
This is a wonderful hotel, well located with an excellent staff. Parking, however, is not convenient. Parking is the only negative. We have stayed here several times and never been disappointed. Good value for the cost and quite clean. Excellent air conditioning.
Hotel is located perfectly to visit the historic Verona in walking distance. Rooms are nice, big and clean. However wifi did not work in the rooms only poorly in the reception area, that's really a no go for a modern family or a business traveler. Breakfast was very average maybe even below average, wifi must be fixed otherwise we will chose another hotel in Verona next time. Staff was extremely nice and service minded, if the breakfast and wifi had the same quality as the staff it would have been a clear 5 star review, something to aspire to I hope
Good, clean, convenient hotel. 10 minute walk to the old town, and 10 minute walk to the railway station. Good for a day trip to Venice! Didn't have a breakfast, as it was easy to use any of the many cafes along the street.
Very good hotel and rooms very pleasant. Watch out for the Jacuzzi showers, they were fun and tricky. Staff excellent. Wifi excellent. A 500 metre stroll to Piazza Bra and the Arena was fine, as was the 450 metre walk to the station where we got the airport bus.
My husband and I made a quick 1 day/1 night stop in Verona in May 2017. We chose this hotel for its good ratings, reasonable price and close proximity to the train station, which is a 10 minute walk. The hotel was easy to find and staff were excellent. We arrived at 10am and the hotel was able to store our bags no problem - they even brought them up to our room so that we didn't have to lug them ourselves later that day. The room was very comfortable, great bed, great shower, and a cute little balcony out onto the main street. Wifi and AC worked great. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the heart of Verona where all the action is - would definitely stay again!
Picked this hotel because of the strong reviews, really good prices and its location close to the train station (for ease of access to the airport bus and the train to Venice). Its about ten minutes from the station and another ten minutes to the nearest city gate. I was not disappointed, room was large and spotlessly clean, bed was incredibly comfortable. We had a room at the back of the hotel so no real views but it was very quiet. The bathroom was also large and the jacuzzi shower took a little bit of working out but it had plenty of water pressure! The free wi-fi worked well. There were a couple of cons about the room that stop me giving a full five star review, the A/C wasnt able to cool the room at all (it seemed like the 'cool' setting wasnt available) and there were only a couple of English language stations (showing international news). Only minor issues but I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone to use as a base to explore the city.
Spent four days at this hotel - the rooms were of a decent size, and neatly decorated as was the bathroom. The personnel were so helpful and nice and the breakfast was lovely too - quite a spread. A very nice stay ! However - a friend was in room 261 - just behind the lift shaft - rooms 161 to 561 are to be avoided - a bit of a noise early in the morning... but nothing too drastic...ok w/ear-plugs
LOCATION I prefer to stay in historical city-centre hotels when I travel in Europe, but in Verona they were either too expensive or the rooms were too small. I chose Best Western Firenze as an acceptable compromise - it was, after all, just a few minutes walk to the old city gate/the Verona arena, with convenient bus connections to pretty much everywhere in Verona, from Piazza Renato Simoni about 500 m away. HOTEL & ROOM I'm happy to say, it was not a compromise in any other way. BWF is a compact, modern, well-maintained hotel. We had room #555, facing Corsa Porta Nuova. The excellent insulation ensured we had total quiet in the room whenever the window was shut tight. While the room was not spacious, it seemed adequate - even with two large, 25-kg capacity suitcases hogging space. We found the bed and pillows comfortable, the quality of toiletries quite satisfactory and housekeeping up to expectations. The only issue was that the shower was in the tub (it was a jacuzzi tub), with a delicate glass door in the middle. This made the shower area really cramped, and one had to be careful that one's elbows didn't hit the swinging glass separator. SERVICE AND COURTESY The various individuals manning the reception at different times of the day were all friendly and helpful; they took pains to find convenient bus stops and bus numbers for us, and one of them (was it Cristina?) insisted politely that we should not miss the church of San Zeno. We went there, thanks to her. It also helped that the bar/snack bar downstairs had a smiling man in charge (his name was Dinesh, I think). WI-FI Not the best, plus the added annoyance of having to log on every time. But this was a minor inconvenience. VALUE We spent 21 nights altogether in Oia (Santorini), Rome, Florence, the Tuscan countryside, Verona and Lucerne. Best Western Firenze, at Euro 434 for 3 nights including all taxes and breakfast, provided the best value overall. Some of our other rooms may have been bigger, or the hotels themselves a little grander, but when I put everything together and shake it up - BWF rises to the top. Europe needs more hotels like it :-)
I must admit I feel like the reviews from this place really let me down. This place had many positive reviews and I just didn't see it. The hotel is well located and clean, but the room was just terribly uncomfortable. The bed and pillows were rock hard. We spent 3 weeks traveling around Europe and this was by far the most uncomfortable bed. I understand mattress firmness is a personal preference but the hard and flat pillows were awful. After a hot day in Verona the room was very stuffy with inadequate AC, thankfully it cooled off at night so if you kept the window open it was tolerable. The shower was a bizarre "jacuzzi" shower with a bunch of jets enclosed in a narrow tube. (It must have been all the rage in the 80's) The location was great, 10 min walk to train station and 10 min to the city gate. The front desk staff were friendly on check on/out and there is a nice bar in the lobby. Overall the negatives far outweigh the positives in my opinion, would not recommend.
Our stay in Verona was enhanced due to the wonderful hotel accommodations. The room was appointed beautifully. We felt as if we were in someones guest room rather than a stuffy hotel. The A/C unit was easy to control and program. The furniture had classic details and each room has a fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was delightfully cheerful with a Jacuzzi tub and a body jet shower. There was also a vent in the bathroom which you usually do not find in a hotel. The bed provided a wonderful nights sleep. A neat item they had in the room was a small gold box on either side of the bed that had 5 buttons. One turned on/off the overhead lights, one turned on/off the bedside light, another was an on/off switch to set up a do not disturb signal to the housekeeping staff (no more paper hangers to fall off your door knob) and the other two were to control the black out automatic shade on the exterior of the window. The TV was a very large size for the room and the room was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious with a large variety of hot and cold items to choose from. There was also free wifi. This was our only complaint in that you had to keep logging in whenever you wanted to use it, even it you hadn't left the room. Verona is a beautiful city and this hotel is conveniently located to take advantage of it.
An easy walk from the station, the airport bus which is great and runs every 20 mins drops you at the station. The hotel is 10 mins walk away. It is also 10 mins away from the old town so perfect location. The hotel was clean and the bed was large and comfortable, but the decor was very old fashioned and the bathroom needed updating with a tiny shower with folding door. So if you want a value hotel in a good spot, nothing wrong with it. But it needs updating.
The Hotel was close to the railway station. When we arrived we asked about excursions etc. They told us nothing but handed over brochures which were not that great. We found the front desk personnel were helpful throughout when you approached them, but not overly friendly otherwise. They were not welcoming or informative about what you could do in the city. The hotel was great in providing WiFi, however there were difficulties in inital login (in which we had to get a different password 3 times). >You had to login in to wifi everytime you left the hotel which was such a pain. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean and spacious and the shower is in the bath. A minor issue was that the water could have been hotter. The cleaning staff were very good. Breakfast was not included but cost 10 Euro each. The Bar staff were friendly. The hotel was concerned enough that they wanted feedback through a hotel survey. I virtually told them the same as this review. I felt when I left this hotel that the front staff couldnt care less. I would probabably stay there again due to its location, but know that it is very business and not personal.
For the price, this is a great hotel to stay in Verona. Around 100 euro, you get a decent size room and good water pressure and TV has many channels (90% in Italian). There is a mini bar but you can take all out to use it to store something during your stay. Just 5 min walk from the bus/train station where you can get airport bus for only 6 euro. Also a few blocks away from the Piazza, center of Verona. Breakfast is really good. Most items are BIO. croissants are excellent, and plenty of bread and fruits, cheese, etc. Eggs are either boil-yourself or scrambled. Espresso machine works well (similar to one you see at Lufthansa lounges). Wifi isn't working very well though.. Overall, it was a great stay here.
Good location, easy walk to the station and the Arena. Lovely room which was nicely furnished, and it was easy to get the temperature just right, shutters were welcome in the morning as our room faced east. Good value breakfast but note that they don't serve other meals. On a very wet night the very helpful staff told us to try a very good non-tourist place just round the corner.
Our honeymoon to Italy incorporated three hotel stays, this being the first. We were very impressed. Great location, friendly staff, great choices at breakfast. Our room was very spacious and clean. We loved the balcony! Great place to stay.
We had a short, level stroll from the train station. So easy. Hotel is welcoming. Convenient elevator. I always find European hotels too warm, so I welcome having windows to open, which quickly gets the temperature to my liking. Comfortable and clean. Huge breakfast buffet. Easy walk up to and through the gate into the renaissance town.
A well run, quite polished hotel just five minutes walk from the Arena in the heart of Verona, and an easy five minute walk from Porta Nuova train station, which has frequent service to Venice. Nicely appointed rooms with lots of wood that seems to balance the vintage style of the place in a cool retro kind of way. But it's also spotless and the staff are very obliging. I needed to kill some time for a few hours later on the day I checked out. The staff made me welcome in the lobby, with offers of water, coffee etc. The continental breakfast is very well presented with items always freshly stocked. Rooms well cleaned with extra touches like bedtime candies!
Starting from the arrival through departure the stay was outstanding! The staff was extremely helpful at taking care of guests needs. The atmosphere was that of being in a friend's home. Comfortable. The bar staff was attentive to our needs remembering what we enjoyed. Room with balcony was cute and very comfortable. Would stay again next time in Verona. Highly recommended
I had a very pleasant one-night stay at this hotel. The staff was welcoming and kind, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of quality food. The position is very convenient: 5 minutes by car from the highway and 5 minutes walk from the heart of Verona. Recommended!

thankyou FabioLorenzoT! it was great that everything ran well with you. hope to see you again.
Hotel situated around 15 minutes walk from the historic centre (and about the same distance from the station, but takes an extra 5 minutes due to the many zigzag road crossings). Spacious, old fashioned, quality rooms. Comfy bed. Shower can also be used as a sauna or turkish bath (or just as a shower). Average breakfast (bacon still had rind attached - a little too chewy for my liking). Breads, meats and cheeses and eggs, If you buy a 24 or 48 hour Verona card, bus transport is included and there is a bus stop outside the hotel which drops you at the station 5 minutes later. Hotel provide plenty of umbrellas if the weather becomes a little inclement.
Stayed over for a couple of nights last September. Once in, we got stunned by the hall, a bizarre and chaotic collection of different styles… I must say quite odd for a four stars hotel. I really though "where on earth we ended up!!". After a deep breath we reached the reception. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The receptionist gave us a couple of great suggestions for restaurants and highlights. We were travelling with our dog and I was happy to learn that a dog basket was waiting for him in our room. Pets, however, are not allowed to enter the breakfast room and walk freely in the common area…fair enough if those rules apply equally to all pets. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The morning after what I learnt to be the owner's dog was freely walking from one room to the other in common area, comfortably laying on the sofas in the hall and happily walking around in the breakfast room entertaining the hotel's guests…nothing wrong with that…but for the different treatment..something that shouldn't happen in a four stars hotel.
Stayed end of October with my husband and another couple for one night. On broad street a straight 10 min walk to historic centre one way and a 10 min walk to the train station in the other direction. Very clean, comfortable rooms, some with balcony. Kettle with tea/coffee and minibar much appreciated. Good breakfast choices - loved the persimmon. Staff friendly, professional and helpful. We would certainly stay there again.
Stayed for one night in October after arrival at the airport. We chose the hotel as mid way between the main station and the old town. It was 10 minutes from each. Comfortable room and bed. God breakfast with plenty of choice. Very helpful reception staff who recommended an excellent restaurant (L'Orologio) and even supplied an umbrella against the rain.
The hotel was conveniently located between the train station and the central piazza. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Especially Laura who assisted us with booking tours and advice about the surrounding area. The room was clean and adequate for our needs. The daily breakfast was a buffet that had plenty of selection(3 Euro).
Stayed here 3 nights in April, good value for money. First impression of the room, comfortable sized and airy, the polished wooden floors were gleaming and like what another reviewer has said, pretty much spotless. Our room was facing the street but no issue with noise. Breakfast was slightly better than the average Italian hotels given its price range. Highly recommend if coming in from the station, we dropped off our bags and headed straight towards the old town and then again on departure, picked up our bags at the end. Just note there's not a lot of eateries nor a supermarket in the immediate vicinity.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had a great experience! Comfortable room, spotless clean, and pleasant. The bedding was changed at least twice during our stay. The bathroom had all the expected amenities and was spotless clean, too. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent continental breakfast, with some organic and local options, too. The hotel is located in a very nice part of the city, within 15 minutes walking distance of the old town and major tourist attractions. Great restaurants nearby, too. Definitely recommended!
We stayed here for the night and the room was perfect I have never seen a room so clean before is spotless. Staffs were very nice and helpful and location is very good 5mins walk to train station and 5mins walk to the old town. One feature that I loved was that they have a separate window from the outside where you can shut it down to eliminate noise coming from outside...this was the best
We stayed 4 nights in the hotel and found everything to meet with our satisfaction. The room was comfortable and extremely clean. From our 5th floor balcony we had a great view of the Corso Porta Nuova roadway looking down toward the city center. Perfect location as we could walk to the Arena area in about 7 to 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was wonderful as others have mentioned, and always an important element in anywhere we choose. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend to others.
We booked a junior suite through a third party site, and overall were disappointed. It was probably as described looking back at the booking info (except no jacuzzi bath), but was much more a large double than anything like a suite. Breakfast was good, staff were mostly friendly, but sadly it felt less warm and welcoming than we hoped for. Great location, no doubt. Overall nothing particularly bad, but not particularly great either. Be sure to check the particulars of the room type you are booking!
We went to this hotel because we wanted to go to an opera at the Arena that evening, and the choice has been great. The hotel is within walking distance of the Arena, and of the whole city center; the room was actually more an apartment than a room -- much more than we needed! Clean, quiet, very beautiful. We also had a buffet breakfast and that was excellent. Overall, a great place and any time we go back to Verona for an opera, that will be the place we will choose!
We stayed following the very good reviews the hotel received and it is a nice hotel. The breakfast was nice, although the room being underground is not quite as grand as other hotels I have stayed in in Italy, but it was nice. We had a junior suite and the room was nice, but not up to the same standard of junior suites both in other hotels in Italy, and other Best Western hotels we have previously stayed in, hence it not being up to expectations. We also needed to ask them to set up an additional bed in the room, although once we had brought this to their attention they did so very quickly. Overall this is a nice hotel and you could do far worse than staying here.
We were very pleased with this hotel during our 6 night stay. All the staff were very helpful. The quality of the room and breakfast was extremely good. The hotel is also positioned very well and is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Verona yet is very quiet.
We spent 4 nights here prior to our Malcesine, Lake Garda holiday. We chose the hotel based on location as we wanted to do a couple of train journeys whilst there (Bologna and Desenzano). Easy walk from hotel to both the train station and the Arena. At first the hotel said they had given us a room upgrade and put us in an apartment in the next door annexe. However we didn't really like the room. It felt unwelcoming so we asked to be moved next day into the main hotel. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us later that day and the room was large and so much nicer. Breakfast had plenty of choices - although in the basement, so no nice sunny outlook. Cups were too small for the machine coffee and overflowed - most guests were using a glass instead which resolved the problem. Overall it's a great hotel with large clean comfortable rooms. We sat out the front for a couple of times having a coffee but got pestered for money by local homeless which wasn't very nice.
Lovely room, most comfortable bed ever. Staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast can't be beaten. Soya milk was very nice we were Sad to leave and would like to return and stay longer. Good location.
We were located in a studio room (204) next to the hotel and with a lovely large balcony. The studio is large and includes a lounge, sofa and a small kitchen. The bed was very comfy and the room was quiet despite being on the main road into Verona old town. The town is a comfortable 10 minute walk away where you can find the arena, plenty of restaurants, the river, Juliets house and many other attractions. The hotel is located a 10 minute flat walk to the bus station where you can get a shuttle bus to the airport for €6 each which takes about 20 minutes. The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely efficient. Highly recommended.
This hotel is close to all amenities. We had excellent service throughout our two night stay at this hotel. Reception goes above and beyond to ensure your room meets your expectations. They offer a 3 Euro daily breakfast buffet which is a must. If travelling to Verona, I would highly recommend this hotel.
We had a standard room which was comfortable with good soft furnishings. Bathroom was great with spa shower. Bed extremely comfortable. Buffet breakfast amazing choice to suit all dietary requirements including gluten free and weight watchers!! Location was great too as only 10 minute walk to Piazza Bra and Arena.
We stayed here for four nights after spending part of our holiday in Garda. The Hotel is well placed and is about a ten minute walk from the railway station and about a fifteen minute walk from the Arena. Frequent buses are available into the centre from outside the hotel on the opposite side of the road at 2 euros. Our room was on the fifth floor (two lifts available) and was very clean and comfortable with a good spacious bathroom and excellent air conditioning. The room faced a rear courtyard with a small balcony and was very quiet even with the windows open. Breakfast was good value at only 3 euros. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Trains are available from the station to Venice, Rome and Bologna. We would stay here again.
This is a lovely hotel and we spent three nights there. The room was spacious and very clean and had a balcony overlooking the street. Perfect for people watching and sitting drinking the wine.Really comfortable and staff were friendly. It is well placed to walk into Verona and also for the station for trips to Venice etc. We booked the train to Venice online before we went as the queues in the station can be very long. There are plenty of places to see in Verona and it is easy enough to walk around without using public transport. Take note though if you have your photo taken with a "Roman" soldier he expects a tip!! It's worth going into the arena for a look around and to climb up ALL those stairs for the views. All in all Verona is a lovely place. If we ever go back we would definitely stay at the Hotel Firenze.
The hotel is rated 4 star and is a bit below the rating. The location is very good, walking distance from Piazza Bra, Arena and the other attractions. The entrance is modest and the two elevators very small regarding that there are 5 floors and with big suitcases there is only place for two persons. The room was very basic, small but enough seats and tables. Many mirrors though that make it look bigger. The bathroom is spacious with a very special shower. You need to be technically aware to use it. Also the bathroom had lots of hooks, shelves and places where to put your toiletteries :). The breakfast buffet was super, lots of fruits, italian cuttlery and nice breads.
I had a great experience while staying at this hotel. Staff is prepared and very helpful. Rooms and corridors are kept clean. I would go back in a heart beat. The location is very close to the train station. Hotel is ideal if you want to travel to nearby cities by training and staying in Verona as home base.
Perfectly clean, friendly to the guests, reasonable rooms size, very high quality and variety breakfast, far enough from the crowded touristic quarter and still 10 minutes easy walk from Arena and max 20 min from all Verona highlights Our fifth stay in Hotel Firenze - should I add anything?
Hotel was ok. Unfortunately, no own car park or garage even though it was promised at reception. It's only a shared one with nighborhood. Breakfast was ok. Room was clean and very Italian. Service was ok.
While the hotel is well situated it is overall very mediocre. The overall deco leaves a lot to be desired. The room service menu was extremely limited in terms of choice. The car park is a few minutes walk away also. That said the staff very relatively helpful
Great location for exploring Verona, Lago Garda and Dolomites. Very close to center of old town and Arena. Have bicycles available--town is flat with lots of bike lanes. Outstanding breakfast; nice area in front of hotel for bier in the evening; easy access for performances in Arena in evening.
This hotel offers the standard of comfort and efficiency we expect from a Best Western inner-city hotel. Comfortable, well sound-proofed rooms, good breakfast in a basement room. It's a 15-20 minute walk (for us seniors!) to the Arena for the opera, which was a bit too far for some (taxis available). A pity the bar was closed on our return from opera.
Stayed here for one night. It is everything you need. Easy access to the piazza (5 minute walk) and a a quiet comfortable room. We were upgraded upon arrival to a room on the 5th floor. This was decorated splendidly; although perhaps a bit dated on places. Minibar was reasonable. Breakfast was really nice and a lovely range of foods.
We enjoyed staying here. It was nice and clean, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. I paid 4 euro to take one of their bikes for the day which I highly recommend! I had a blast floating around the town and site seeing. We would stay here again for sure!
great place, clean and nicely decorated. high quality items for breakfast. outdoor table and chairs near street. return stay. Very polite and helpful staff. Very clean and nicely decorated. great slippers included.
The hotel is very convenient for the railway station and the arena. From the Arena the tour bus and exploring the old city. The hotel was very comfortable with tea making facilities. The shower was interesting as it was multi-functional but we only used the basic shower function. Staff were pleasant and obliging even when busy.
This hotel is located in an OK position to see the sites of Verona with about a 15 minute walk. It is a typical 4 star Italian hotel with matching breakfast. The room and facilities were all OK. We used the hotel as a one night stop to visit Verona for which it was satisfactory.

thank you for your review Tinkmuff; what I'd like to know if there were anything not working well during your stay as I record only sufficient the rate you gave to the hotel instead of satisfied description. waiting for an answer, I hope you'll be back as soon as possible.
We have been staying at the Firenze for about 5 years now and it is a very dependable hotel with excellent rooms. The lift is a little "cosy" but it is an oldish building after all. There have usually been 6 of us staying but this weekend coming we are 10, but I am confident that our friends will like the hotel. The real treat is to have a cocktail sitting outside before strolling down town for dinner. A proper Italian barman who knows and obviously loves making and serving the cocktails. His presentation of the drinks is pure theatre as he finishes off some in front of the guests and delivers them with style - and pride. It is just far enough out of town - a short walk - but away from the hustle and bustle of Piazza Bra. For a day out in other towns it is very convenient for the Rail Station, just a short walk again. There are plenty hotels in Verona but we keep going back - must say something. We do tend to book 10 months ahead :)

thank you Cnr47 for your review and I think that Simone will appreciate the words you spent for his cocktails. What about the opinion of your friends? hope to see soon all you.
We stayed in BW Hotel Firenze for the second time in one of the studio's located in a separate building adjacent the main building. This building is nicely decorated ! The hotel location is top, at a short walking distance of Porta Nuova railway station and the Verona Arena on Piazza Bra. Our modern studio offered reasonable space considering the location downtown a busy historical Italian city. Nice bathroom with a real Jacuzzi shower (instructions available in the room). Master bedroom separated from living room by wardrobe extra bed , kitchenette with freezer and cooker, safe , 2 TV's but with only 2 English spoken channels. Comfortable beds. Small balcony. Good airco. Hotel parking at a fee in a garage complex around the corner. Reserve your parking space in advance! The breakfast room in basement is rather noisy. Breakfast buffet is okay . Bus stop near the hotel. Hotel bicycle rental. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend Hotel Firenze. FYI : our travel agent had better rates than the online sites but still not really a bargain. Of course the location explains the high rate.
Room was small but very very beautifull! Bath was clean and I love the look! I take bubblebath :) Staff was helpfull and send postcard for me. Breakfast was good. Love the coffee macine and fresh pineapple!

thank you 67piar for your review; what a pity for the room: of course there are some bigger in the hotel but if front-office would have known that you were in hoenymoon they would have managed better the room assigned. hope you enjoy you journey in the lovers' town
We Wanted a central hotel to explore Verona - this fitted the bill. It's an good city hotel with a good family rooms and a quiet central location. Facilities were fine - breakfast was in the basement so no sun drenched breakfast table but we only stayed 3 nights so no problem - it's 10 mins to piazza bra and 20 to piazza erbe , 10 mins also to railway stAtion. Reception suggested a wonderful pre opera restaurant which we really enjoyed. There is no real a 'Buzzy' bar area if that's what you are after but with so many bars nearby it's not an issue .
The Hotel Firenze is situated about 700 metres from the old town and is therefore ideal as a base for sightseeing. The rooms are comfortable. We had a ladies room which featured a nice bright decor and a hairdryer with added bits. The rooms are quiet and the air conditioning efficient and discrete. Breakfast is excellent although the basement room in which it is served lacks ambience. Service is very good and the front desk staff are very helpful. Is this hotel going to excite? No. But it does an excellent job doing what it does for a very reasonable price
The Hotel Firenze is in a great location, minutes from the station and only 10mins up the road from the piazza Bra, the heart of the city. The room was comfortable and spacious for us both and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel

Thank you DNeesman; me and the staff are happy to have pleased you so much. It's a pity you didn't try our barman Simone: who likes superb ?? always record his drinks... Hope to see you again!
Great location for touring the fabulous city of Verona, but the hotel is showing its age. It's adequate, but is charmless and functional. No hint of romance in this most romantic of cities. Breakfast was a poor experience too with staff on the 2 mornings we were there looking as if they'd rather be somewhere else. Never trust a hotel that has a coffee machine instead of freshly brewed stuff, especially in Italy. All of the above said, if you're not looking for luxury and it's a stopover you need, go for it.
PaoloSergioCucini, Responsabile relazioni con la clientela at BEST WESTERN Hotel Firenze, responded to this review
This is one among the reviews we read because your criticisms are so sporadic that deserve all our attention: I can ensure you you that direction, architect and the owners too will informed about you opinion about furniture and room layout. Breakfast staff too will read your words because they have failed if you felt as described. The very shame is you didn't ask the staff the authentic espresso as still in breakfast time is served Illy caffè (the very best one) with professional machine while the one you used is available for foreign customers who what to do everything by themselves. Hope you'll be back again to let us be much cozy.
Booked a three person apartment and a double room for one night stay to see gig in the arena do Verona. Picked it because of previous good reviews and wasn't disappointed. The apartment is two doors down from hotel where we had a room, but that was ok with us. Both were spotlessly clean. Welcoming staff, air conditioning great, bathroom with jacuzzi and jacuzzi shower. The bed was sooooo comfy I had a fab nights sleep even though our room was on the Main Street. Breakfast was self service very fresh , with organic options, good vegetarian choices - again clean, and friendly staff. Would definitely go back.

Thank you BigBehlnDaMixYeo, your words are encouraging when I have to answer to so many critics so far by your feeling. It seemed you didn't try Simone's drinks or listened Armando playing the piano in the lobby... Take another time to make this experience too...
Went to Verona for the opera This hotel was convenient for the Arena, was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet though full! The rooms are tastefully decorated ,clean and well maintained The staff all seemed to speak good English and were very helpful The hotel bar is well stocked and the staff equally attentive.
PaoloSergioCucini, Responsabile relazioni con la clientela at BEST WESTERN Hotel Firenze, responded to this review
Thank you Paulquill for your review: I cannot suggest anything else to try...and let the staff be informed of your words. Come back again to visit Verona and its surrounding or for a wine taste in one of best wineries of Valpolicella, Amarone or Soave. See you again.
Upon arrival in Fair Verona we caught a taxi from the train station to the hotel... we could of walked. This hotel is very centrally located, you feel welcome upon arrival and it hasn't felt busy or crowded at any point. The room was pretty (kind of has an old feel to it in terms of decor - but I liked this). Sadly there seems to be a drainage problem in the bathroom as there was a terrible smell on 2 occasions. The shower was AMAZING once I worked out how to use it, it was a Jacuzzi shower. The telly was all Italian channels. Breakfast was nice and the hotel also has bikes (which you probably have to rent) so you can ride around Verona. It is very close to the center of town. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
We came in and the lobby was well air-conditioned on a very warm day. Reception was friendly. Parking is somewhat complicated to get to but you can also park on the street but you have to feed the meter every two hour during the day. Rooms are not large but functional. Air-condition is not powerful and stopped on occasion. Electrical window blinds are nice and make the room dark but noisy if your neighbors use them at sleeping times... Breakfast is downstairs but very complete. Walking distance to downtown and Arena.
The hotel is walking distance to both the train station and piazza bra. Surrounding area was quiet and safe. Hotel was very clean, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was great. Only complaint was that it was a little noisy in corridor of our hotel. We slept in one day until 8:30 or 9 and could hear hotel staff cleaning and talking in the hall. I would definitely stay here again.
Visited Verona by train and only took 9 min to walk to the hotel. To get to the town centre takes about 12min.Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff .Lots of good choices for both meat eaters and vegetarian breakfasts .Outside seating area an added bonus as the interior seating is small.
Stayed here for 5 nights. Here's the postives: Room excellent - good aircon, balcony, beds very comfy with mattress toppers, kettle, fridge, tv, wifi, safe, hairdryer + tap water is safe to drink. Quietish - on street but shutters and double galzed balcony doors blocked out most noise and light. Lift to rooms. Spotlessly clean. Staff to be commended on their pleasant attitude and helpfulness. Location - excellent. We left airport terminal, grabbed a taxi and within 15 mins were at the hotel. Cost around 30 euro. Its a 10 - 15 min easy walk into centre of Verona - pavements flat and i noticed a few people in wheelchairs. Walked back from the Arena area late at night and it felt safe. There's a great fruit, veg & soft drinks shop round the corner (turn right and right again and its less than 100 metres on the right). Station (train) is about 10 - 15 mins walk - and great for connecting with other places - Venice, Padua, Vincenza, Mantua, Trento, Milan, etc. Our breakfast was included in our booking price. A good enough choice of food to eat - all self service. There is parking outside the hotel. Cant think of any negatives - we'd definately choose to stay here if we came to Verona again. Its a great place to use as a base for exploring other Italian cities in the region.
Nice hotel, conveniently located for access to transportation links. Breakfast was good, staff friendly and helpful. We rented bicycles from the hotel, 4euros each, great day spent riding around the city. Highly recommended hotel for a three day city break.
This hotel located close to the old part of Verona is just great. Nice and friendly staff. Clean and spacious room. Since it is only a short walking distance to the railway station it is really easy to explore the area. We will certainly return.
The hotel Firenze is centrally located being around a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Verona. The rooms are large and clean and the breakfast plentiful. Drinks were a little expensive but I'm from Yorkshire so what do I know! The staff are very helpful but we did ask at the reception the best day to visit lake Garda and was told a particular day and then when we had arrived Lake Garda was closed (literally but then it was December) and we found out there had been a festival in Verona so we missed out both ways! So I do think that the reception staff could be a little more up to date with info. Saying that a great time was had by all in this beautiful city
By far the best hotel we've stayed in The staff are all very pleasant. The bar staff were excellent. Room was large and clean Would definitely stay here again Only one minor issue Not enough milk left in the rooms but you could always get extra at breakfast
I visit all Europe due to my job and rarely I found an hotel of this quality! The room is wonderful, clean, calm, elegant. Breakfast is rich, full of fresh and biological products. There are also gluten free products. Wonderful is the only possible definition!
My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel was more than adequately clean and tidy, the rooms were of a good size and the bathroom was well equipped. It met all we needed it to, but it did not excel and for the price I just expected a little bit more.

Hello Alex, I'm quite sad that your expectation was not satisfied by the hotel; we are improving as possible services and amenities to enjoy our customers and I hope you could appreciate Simone's drinks in the patio in front of the receptionand Armando, the man who plays twice a week the piano. Nevertheless we all hope to see you again.
This hotel is walking distance from the train station and also very close to the center of most tourist attractions like the piazza near the Arena. Rooms were modern and clean and staff very very helpful. I would heartily recommend this place.
We arrived here on the second part of our honeymoon (between Venice and lake Garda) to be met by the most miserable receptionist iv ever encountered! Not once did this girl break a smile, which is pretty difficult when someone is being pleasant to you! Didn't get her name but quite young with long blonde hair and glasses. We got to our room where prossecco was chilling as it was our honeymoon but SEPARATE BEDS!!! I went back down to ask for the double room we asked for to be told bluntly by the said girl "no"! Another older lady tried to help but was cut off abruptly by her. Eventually after ringing our tour operator at home they offered to make the bed up into a double. We stayed two nights and the room and hotel were very nice, as was breakfast. Bar service quite poor as bar closes early with no room service. Based on the terrible reception I would not recommend this hotel , which is a shame as everyone and everywhere else we stayed were exceptional!

Dear Madam, thank you for your feedback: our guests' comments and suggestions are very important to improve our service. We are really sorry that you couldn't enjoy at the best your honeymoon. Your reservation, made with Hotelplan, unfortunately had a note that specifically requested a twin bedded room. As we usually try to satisfy our guests' preferences we assigned to you a twin bedded room, with view and a balcony. At the moment of the check in our employee was caught by surprise. We are, and she is, very sorry for what happened. Furthermore the day of your arrival we were fully booked, so the only possible way to solve this unfortunate misunderstanding was to made the two beds as one. We apologize for this inconvenience. We thank you again and we sent our Best Regards Cristina Trucchi Manager Hotel Firenze
This hotel was shockingly good. I have not been a fan of Best Western from previous experiences, but this hotel was really nice. Great location, great staff, great breakfast, great room. Before I arrived, my room had a problem with the shower, the maintenance personnel were still working on it when I went up. The front desk staff immediately moved me to another (bigger and better) room at no extra charge. The balcony overlooking the main street and City Gate, was a plus.
We stayed for 4 nights as we were going to a concert at the beautiful Arena and it was a our first time in this beautiful city. The Hotel Firenze is perfectly positioned on a main road that is 10 mins walk from the mainline station and 10 mins walk into the Piazza Bra and Old Town. Our room on the 5th floor was very clean, comfortable and quiet with a small balcony that had a beautiful jasmine growing up it, the scent in the evenings was fantastic! Breakfast was a good selection and plentiful, set us up for the day. Without exception the staff were so helpful, professional and friendly. All in all a great hotel, we would very happily stay here again.
Excellent location just a 10 min walk to Piazza Bra and also to the train and bus station, clean rooms and quite quiet considering its on the main road...window shutters work very well. Breakfast was very good with a big selection for all tastes. Reveption Staff were very helpful and provided excellent advice and nothing seemed too much trouble
We stayed in the suite located in the building next to main hotel. The suite has a small kitchen with a stove, few dishes and a fridge. It also has a private balcony. We did not cook, but it was nice to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea resting on the balcony after a busy day of sightseeing. Room description mentioned king bed, but ours (room 501) had 2 twin beds next to each other. The bathroom had a jacuzzi and massage shower. Had to read an instruction manual to figure out their usage, but enjoyed afterwards. Breakfast was in the main building. It had a good choice of cold cuts, breads, cheese, yogurt, cereal and fruit. The hotel has garage nearby, daily cost 18 euros. There are several parking places next to the hotel that can be used only to unload. Once you are done they can send an employee to help you park in the garage.
We have just spent three nights here and I would recommend it to anyone going to Verona. It is a 5 min walk from the train/bus station - not an 8euro taxi ride!! The staff were very helpful with our travel queries & the room was spacious & spotless. The only trouble I had was sorting out how to open & close the shutters! Button by the bed- probably an age thing. The hotel is 10 mins walk from centre so within easy reach of shops, restaurants & tourist attractions. Breakfast was a variety of cooked & cold foods. Breads, fresh fruit salad, yogurts, bacon, ham, cheese etc. I would definitely go back!
This was the second time that we have stayed here. It's location is excellent as it is a short walk into Piazza Bra and an even shorter walk to the station. The staff are very efficient and speak excellent English. Breakfast is good for those on a gluten free diet. Overall a very good place to stay in Verona.
We arrived by train from Milan. Hotel is just a 10 minute walk but we didn't know that so took a taxi. We did walk back upon leaving. Hotel is just a short walk to Piazza Bra. Hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.
Five minutes from railway station,5 minutes from centre, a great fish restaurant 2 mins away. Good breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit, good coffee etc. Comfortable room. good size, very good bathroom, very good service. Would recommend unhesitatingly.
Stayed 2 nights at this friendly hotel, the bar was lively on the evening and the breakfast was about the best we'd had on our tour, although I'm not keen on coffee machines at the breakfast area, I prefer fresh coffee to the table. My room was lovely, great bathroom and plenty of space, shutters in the Windows made it black out on an evening and cut any noise out altogether. Very close to a top trip advisor resturant, only 100 yards down the road, but book it as it gets busy. Very helpful, very modern and well laid out, the only downside was my laundry came back a size smaller, however they didn't charge me for it. Definitely stay again, averagely priced for this area, close to popular shopping area as well.??
This was my first trip to Verona. At first I thought I'd be put off because the hotel is a Best Western, you know, the sterile corporate kind of hotels. NOPE! It was excellent. The staff was great, friendly and very helpful, the room spotless, the cost just right, and the breakfast big and plentiful (in the Italian style so be prepared for smoked and dried meats, cheeses, plus all kinds of good food on their large generous buffet). The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance to the train station and in the other direction to the Arena. Very easy to get around. We took a bus to Sirmione for the day, and what a wonderful spot that turned out to be. When I go back, I'll stay at the Hotel Firenze again.
Rooms are splendid with fantastic multi spray showers, great balcony in the room. Piano player in the bar tonight, price of a beer was a pleasant surprise as well. Staff on reception speak perfect English as well, very helpful with local directions and the parking garage is more secure than Fort Knox

Thank you very much Fleecewarrior for your wonderful words. And you didn't appreciate Simone's drinks, our talented barman! Hope to see you again.
Don't rely on your Sat Nav to get you there, lots of streets are no left turn at the main junctions. Gat a street map first. You can park outside to unload and there is a garage nearby which they accompany you to. However it is €18 per day. Reception staff speak excellent English and the hotel is conveniently located only a flat 10 minute walk t the main square. There is a small bar area and tables and chairs outside if you want to watch the world go by. Breakfast was very average. Room was spacious but had laminate floors as did all of the hallways so it was very very noisy. You heard ALL of your neighbours toilet habits and visits in the night. Tea making and fridge in the room, although tea bags etc not replenished after use. Shower really awful and pressure really low. Would I return? No.
Nice and new, fairly close to town and the main train station. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, breakfast was functional rather than anything special. Free wifi. Altogether recommended.
The BW Firenze is a good 4 star hotel, conveniently located for the city centre and station. Nice big beds although a little hard for my liking. Great black out shutters and we had spa jets in the bath and the breakfast was fantastic too. My only issue was that the hotel was quite hot, I tried to turn our air-con temp down but it still didn't seem to work but I didn't raise it to the staff so I guess that's my own fault. Overall I'd recommend the hotel though as a good value option for the area.
Our main reason for choosing this hotel was the location. We were travelling by car so we needed easy access by car and a parking space (8 euro per night in a nearby garage), but we also wanted to be able to walk into the historic city center (10-15 min to the arena). Our room (or rather suite) was clean and spacious and located in a nearby building. The breakfast was served in the main building and was a buffet with good selection of breads, cheese, yoghurt ham, cereals and so on.
We stayed 4 nights altogether; 2 nights in Verona, separated by 3 nights in another city, then the final 2 nights of our trip back to Verona. Our first room was the one shown on the hotel's website that has an interesting purple and green decor. You access that room from a separate automatic door outside and about 10 yards from the main entrance. It was quite spacious and there was a stovetop available with a tea kettle. Our second room was accessible via the main lobby and was more traditionally decorated with neutral tones and was slightly smaller than the first. Both rooms were clean, the free wifi was good, and the free breakfast was generous with a diverse selection of food, including vegan, gluten-free, fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, bacon, other meat, yogurt, cheese, and a great coffee machine. The hotel is a convenient 8-10 minute walk to the train station, which is why I booked it. We cannot say enough about the very friendly, helpful staff. Laura was particularly helpful when we ran into a problem with several ATM machines in the area. In the previous city, neither the bank nor the ATM would recognize my Cirrus card despite decals to the contrary on the ATM. Laura walked us over to the nearest ATM, and after it rejected my card, she walked us across the street to help us try 2 others. At her suggestion, I tried the one that did not did not display a Cirrus decal, and thankfully it worked! We were out of Euros after the proprietor at the bed and breakfast in the other city surprised us by saying she did not accept credit cards and needed cash! But that's another review.
Very nicely renovated. We had a good stay the room was clean and new. The reception desk were helpful and very nice. The breakfast is ok but really not special at all. Compare to some other 4 star hotels I have stayed in Italy. I recommend the hotel.
I liked this hotel so much- everything is new, big rooms, big bathrooms , perfect breakfast- fruits, juices, cheese, meat, good coffee, deserts and even choice of gluten-free food! Helpful staff. It takes near 5 minutes by taxi from train station, and near 15 minutes on foot to the center! I really recommend this hotel for staying! )
Nice hotel , a very good location near to all main attractions. A bonus . Near to the train station too. The price for the accommodation very reasonable, rooms bright and large , staff always ready to help.
Good hotel, nice location - very close to the train station, just 5-7 min walking - convenient for those who travel further by train as we did. Rooms are clean and nice, reception is very friendly and helpful. BUT this hotel does not have king size beds - all beds are twin beds put together - inconvenient if you travel with a partner and want to sleep close to each other. HOWEVER, this may be solved easily - just ask the reception to put an extra one-piece mattress on the bed and things get better:) Breakfast is average and if you wish a breakfast in bed, you need to call reception in the morning and order breakfast instead of putting a plate on your door with the order as it normally happens in other hotels.
Perfect place to sleep at They had great rooms and friendly staff There was a little bar in the lobby that had a great guy working in the evening There was perfect service Verona was a great place to visit and it was not so far away to the old town from the hotel I definitely can recommend this hotel
Great hotel, I'd definitely stay again. Pros; - good breakfast - spacious, modern rooms - spotlessly clean - quiet - helpful staff - good location near the station and only 15 mins walk into the main attractions - good wifi Cons; - could have been closer to the historic centre but would then have cost more
Very polite staff. Friendly bartender who chatted with me and tolerated my poor Italian (even though his English was almost certainly better than my Italian). Everything in the room was fine except room was too warm even with heat off all day. Had to open windows occasionally to cool down for my comfort but then street noise and dirty air enters. Breakfast was quite a spread with five types of meats, lots of cheeses, breads, cereals, pastries, juices, decent coffee, all you can eat. You could skip lunch. No restaurant and bar closes early (10pm or so).
I made a reservation almost a year before the check in. Nevertheless, one month before the trip I was informed by Expedia that the hotel was overbooked. They´ve got us transferred to another Hotel. I would not recommed this hotel.
PaoloSergioCucini, Direttore at BEST WESTERN Hotel Firenze, responded to this review
Dear Sirs, we apologize for what happened, nevertheless we would like to underline that we were not overbooked and that is not the reason you were rebooked in another hotel. This year, in september, the management decided to close the hotel during Christmas time for refurbishment. At this point we contacted expedia, which you booked through, in september: 3months before the closure and of your arrival. When you book through expedia the hotels have no contact about the guests so the only way to communicate to you about this closure was to contact Expedia - which we did. We are sorry that you feel disappointed, but we did everything that was in our power to warn you 3 months before your arrival. Furthermore we followed the procedure suggested by our partner Expedia: suggest another hotel of the same category in the same area. Then the guest is free to accept or find another accomodation that can better suit him. Although we are sorry that you have experienced this, we do not think you have any parameter to evaluate our Hotel or any of our services. Hence we invite you to stay we us in another period in order to be able to judge our services and staff. We will be glad to surprise you! We remain at your disposal at any time. Best Regards
Walked from train station to hotel. Hotel reception staff was very good about not making us wait too long to get into our room. Clean room and very good breakfast. Within walking distance of sites. Well lit area and very safe.
We stayed here for one night having stayed at the Sogno di Giulietta for the previous 3 nights. This wasn't as good as that hotel, but it was also a lot cheaper! Our room was a small double room. It was very comfortable and well equipped but it would have felt cramped if we had stayed there for more than one night. Soundproofing really needs to be improved too - we could hear it every time that our neighbours opened the sliding door to their bathroom. The hotel has a nice feel to it though and breakfast was nice.
Despite this Best Western Hotel labelled as a hotel it was more a B&B. The hotel does not have a restaurant but does provide a buffet breakfast. It is located close to the Verona Porta Nuova railway station. We actually walked the distance dragging our luggage with us when we checked in but decided to take a taxi to pick an early train the next day.The famous Arena located in the city center was just a few minute walk away. We were a family of four adults and two kids and we were given a family room and double room in the annex to the main hotel. The rooms had a kitchen complete with an electric stove, kettle etc. where one could make coffee or tea. Pouches of coffee , tea mad were provided free of charge. A mini bar also was inside the room but the items in it were chargeable. The double room was in two sections. A comfortable double bed was installed in one part and the other part had a table and chairs where one could sit and dine, or chat. Internet was free and had reasonably good speed in our room. Both the rooms and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean . The shower had good pressure with proper controls of hot and cold water. They also had several articles of good quality toiletries in the bath room. The nights were hot even in the month of November and we switched the air conditioner installed in the room on and found the place cool and comfortable. The room had a large flat screen TV and there were some English channels Buffet breakfast was served in the main hotel and the spread was good. There was a good range of cereals, breads cheese and fruits plus eggs etc. and great Italian coffee. We had to check out early to catch a train to Rome and requested they let us provide us an early breakfast. The office manager instructed the kitchen staff who were laying the breakfast table . They obliged and we could have a full breakfast before check out. Helpful tips. Remember the hotel has no restaurant but has a very good kitchen and so one could easily cook up a quick meal with stuff brought in from the nearest store. Also there are very good restaurants around the hotel just about a few minutes walk away. The hotel is close to the railway station but if have heavy luggage it may be a good idea to hire a taxi. Pulling your luggage across traffic crossings could be daunting. The rooms in the annex was very good and so we liked it .You will probably like them too.
Stayed for 5 nights with my wife. We had an apartment next to the hotel on the 4th floor and it was brand new, cozy with everything you would expect from a Best Western hotel. Very clean and tidy, quiet both from street traffic and from rooms next door, good and firm matrices and good wifi coverage (free of charge). The breakfast is in the main building (next door) and has a very good variety which will satisfy almost all guests. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the train station and we walked there, no need for a taxi if you have few luggage. The location is very near to the city center and it's only a ten minute walk (flat). I highly recommend it and if I ever visit Verona again that's where I'm staying :-) Don't forget to rent a bike from the reception (4€/day) and go for a ride around the city/bridges/castle.
Because we were staying 6 nights we wanted a king size bed which put us in a real apartment in the annex building. We had a very firm bed but also a kitchenette, table, sofa, 2 tvs and a patio with a table and chairs. The shower also had a "Turkish bath" option which was great when the rooms were chilly in the morning. Full European breakfast in the main building and helpful desk attendants. Located a 5-10 min walk from the main piazza (Piazza Bra) and a 5-10 min walk from the train station.
This is an excellent hotel in an ideal location, being situated mid way between the railway station and the tourist centre of town. (Both are within a 10 minutes walk). It is on a main road, but is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. We had a large room that was very well furnished and equipped. The bed was large and very comfortable. The ensuite was of a similar standard. Altogether, the accommodation was of a really high standard for a four star hotel. Breakfast comprised a very wide choice of dishes, which were regularly replenished by the hard working staff. The wifi connection was consistently reliable. We stayed in this hotel for four nights and, if revisiting Verona, would not hesitate to stay here again.
Hotel was in ideal location for walking into central Verona . We had family room in nearby building. Ideal room for three of us. Plenty of space and privacy. Breakfast in main hotel was full continental buffet style which set you up for the day. Staff all friendly and helpful. The barman makes the best hot chocolate at night which my son loved...me too.
We were in room 224 which was spacious and had two large windows overlooking the main road. The room was beautifully decorated and very quiet at night. Less than 10 mins from the train station which itself is about 20 mins by Air Shuttle bus from the airport , this hotel is close enough to all the sights and river walks. Staff are great but the reception area could have done with more people on duty as checking in and out was not quick. All in all, a great little hotel close to all the action - Verona has some very cool and trendy wine bars .
The room my husband and I had was a smaller one (but who travels to Italy to stay in their hotel room all day anyway!) It has all that we needed! It was very quiet and peaceful. The employees were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious as always (but the Best Western Milton Roma had the Best Breakfast!).
Well located, just a short walk from the city centre, Hotel Firenze delivers everything you'd expect from a 4-star hotel, with one big plus. Without exception, every member of staff we encountered at this hotel was friendly, welcoming and helpful. If we go back to Verona (I hope we will as it's a lovely city), we will definitely book to stay here.
Four friends traveling throughout Italy for three weeks spent two lovely nights at the Hotel Firenze. We were utilizing trains as much as possible and this hotel was very convenient to the train station....easy walk with back packs. We were in Room 122; our friends were in 557. Room 122 had a wonderfully large shower/jacuzzi combo. LOVED IT! The room was very clean and large. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was expansive with fresh pastries and fruits, cereals, eggs, meats and cheeses. Hotel was very convenient to explore the beautiful city of Verona. I would definitely recommend.
I had lost my wallet, when it came time to check in. They helped me get in contact with my credit card company. They also helped me get a new one. The location is prime. It is very close to train station. The room was clean, and staff very friendly and helpful.
Good hotel. Stayed with thr family and our stay was great. Breakfast is good. No issues at all. Walking distance to just about all the attractions and very close to the train station. Staff provide a good map with details on attractions etc.
My husband and I stayed for 6 nights in August when the temperatures outside were up to 38 degrees. The hotel was well equipped with really good sized rooms and bathrooms. Since it was so hot it was a relief to find that the air conditioning worked well! The beds were large and very comfortable and there was a tv (however only english speaking news channels), there was also a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The breakfast, served in the lower floor was very good with plenty of variety and good quality ingredients. We were very pleased with the location as it was close both to the town centre and also the train station - good for excursions to places like Venice. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and its staff and would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk from both the train station and the old town. My room was very comfortable (with a nice armchair to relax in as well as a comfortable bed) and quiet (looking on to a fire escape at the back). Breakfast was rather functional with strange tasting croissants and fruit juice, but for the comfort and convenience at a reasonable price I would definitely choose this hotel if visiting Verona again.
At 5 min walking from the Verona P.N. station it has a very good location in an avenue where you can find good restaurants. From there you can easily make a city walking tour, rent a bike or catch a bus. The Arena is also at 5min walking. The hotel's rooms have a very confortable bed, good shower/jaccuzi cabin and exposed to sun light. You can also have a local drink (Spritz) in bar outside in the street and feel the rithm of the city with a lot of students of the nearby university schools like Istituto Tecnico Statale Per Geometri Can Grande Della Scala.
