Best Western Plus Ambassador Suites Venice

Checking in. We were greeted with a smiling young man who loves what he does. Was easy and got my water as a Diamond Member. Had booked two rooms which worked out great as were adjourned. My Brother In-Law booked a room also for Two Nights. All the rooms were clean and had great sitting areas to visit with family. Breakfast was eggs, sausage and Canadian Bacon. Had Biscuits and Gravy as well as the regular breakfast stuff. Would Highly Recommend Staying here.

The staff here truly understands hospitality—from the desk clerks to the housekeepers, everyone was so gracious and accommodating. I LOVE the wet bar and dining table (in addition to a desk) in the room. The sitting area is pleasant. I could live in this room for a while! Nice pool, too. Maybe a bit small, but charming and nicely rimmed with beautiful trees obscuring the view of the parking lot. NICE

Was here last year and things have definitely gone downhill. Breakfast not as good- poor selection, ran out of coffee and forks. Specialty coffee machine not always working properly. Ice machine and one washing machine out of order. Staff friendly and helpful except for one man at the front desk- somewhat sarcastic. Room was clean and comfortable so that was a plus. Also location is very convenient. But don't think we will be staying here again.

Hotel is just off I75 exit but it is still quiet. Rooms are updated; and A/C fans are very quiet! Breakfast is usual with good choices just need to ask for resupply as items often run out! Nice pool and workout room (bit small). Location is only about 15 minutes to Downtown Venice and Beaches. Bit pricey during peak season but better than others closer to beach.

The check- in was quick. The room is spacious. The TV is an adequate size and swivels. There is a nice couch and large hassock in the room. The lighting in the room is not as bright as I would like it. The mattress was on the softer side. There was no soap in the bathroom near the sink, the dispenser was not filled. The hotel is in a good location, Overall it was nice. I only stayed on night. The breakfast was average.

This is among the best Best Western brand hotels we've stayed in. The room was clean and spacious, everything was well stocked, and the staff were friendly and dedicated. Breakfast was terrific, and Terry kept everything clean and well stocked.

Elevator was operational only 50% of the time. Needed constant reset; yet they were booking people on the top floor. Some of the crew knew how to reset it some didn't. Also, zero option with regard to housekeeping. You need to ask if you need supplies or need to empty the trash. Either understaffed or trying to save money; either way an inconvenience to guests.

Very clean and well-furnished room. Very quiet premises with solid breakfast options. Room had humidifier plus A/C, which made room comfortable. King bed was great for quality sleep. Close to several fast-food eateries and convenience stores/gas stations plus interstate 75.

Hotel was conveniently located, clean, and reasonably priced. The breakfast options were nice and having consumables (body wash, shampoo, and conditioner) dispensers in shower was nice. The room was large including a small desk/table, kitchenette area with fridge, coffee pit and sink, two queen beds, pull-out couch, and chair. The air conditioning worked well and there weren't any odd smells that I often find at other hotels. Overall we were pleased with our stay here.

Requested housekeeping and it never came. AC broke and no one fixed it. One of the men who works nights was rude. Complained to corporate, then the manager Katia emailed me back and lied to C-H-A, saying that we were informed at check-in housekeeping only happened upon request (we weren't informed that) and saying that housekeeping knocked on our door at 11 am (they knocked at 9:00 am when the do-not-disturb-sign was still on the door). Never going back.

This is my second time to stay at a Best Western Plus, and it did not disappoint! Honestly, one of my best hotel stays quality to value ever. Modern, spacious, clean, great breakfast, and good service. Kudos, Best Western Plus and all the staff of this hotel!

Was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Room was very large with a small kitchen area with a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. there was also a sink in the little kitchen area. Large sitting area as well and two pretty comfortable beds. Air conditioner was just the right sound level as well. Staff were very pleasant and there was always coffee in the lobby and sometimes pastries. I will definitely stay here again when I visit family in Venice. It was on a main road into the city but not a loud area. I usually stay with another chain but this Best Western won me over.

I stayed in May 2023 for 2 nights while visiting family in the area. The gentleman who checked me in was very helpful and everyone we encountered was beyond helpful. The room was nothing fancy, but it was very clean and the shower products were great. The bed was comfortable and the AC kept us nice and cool. The breakfast was really great, with different hot items each morning, and make your own waffles and pancakes. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Very nice property. It has a comfortable feel and was very quiet. Staff is excellent - Catia & Anna at the front desk and Teri & Gary, the breakfast attendants were great -very helpful and made the stay a pleasant one. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with good choices. Would definitely recommend.

My mother and I spent six evenings here while visiting the area for Atlanta Braves spring training baseball. The BW made an excellent home base for those adventures and more. The hotel is well located with many amenities in the area. The rooms were quiet despite proximity to major roads. The room was huge -- great for a longer stay like ours with a refrigerator, microwave and plenty of storage space. It was very comfortable. The staff were all unfailingly polite and friendly -- the breakfast was good and staff went out of their way to make sure we got everything we needed. Housekeeping is on an as requested basis, which was fine with us. Nevertheless, I would suggest larger trash cans be placed in the rooms as we, along with several other guests we observed, had to either leave trash outside the door for housekeeping (as recommended by the front desk), or carry trash to containers in public areas -- the bins provided in the room were small. On a side note, there are some nice mixed use trails in the area, including the Legacy Trail, which is great for walking and biking. Overall, would recommend the Best Western!

I made a last minute late night reservation which was accommodated as though they new I was arriving. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. It was a bit more than I wanted to pay however its season so the price was fair.

Very nice hotel, rate was better than the hotel next door. Very spacious rooms, clean property, nice staff and enjoyable breakfast. Would not have any second thoughts about referring anyone to stay at this hotel.

Nice hotel that is conveniently located off of Interstate as well as nice distance from the downtown and beach. Hotel breakfast was better than most. Staff seemed very friendly and caring from the moment you walk in.

Awesome Hotel, Awesome Staff, All I can say is this is another Awesome BW Property, Very clean despite being in the path of Hurricane Ian, There were a couple of signs the property had some damage, but over al, that part of it was handled Perfectly and didn't inconvenience guests in the slightest. I will stay at this property again when in the area.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise! Located near the freeway, Starbucks, McDonalds, gas station, Crackerbarrel, Red Grouper Tavern, and Brew Burgers. Room was spacious and quiet, bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked very well, no issues with the room, it was great! Breakfast was provided and had a varied selection of foods - waffles, cereal, eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurts, breads, juices, coffeee, tea. Very clean and tidy! Staff were helpful, professional, and welcoming, I appreciated that. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend to others too.

I would definitely stay again. Next tine I'll tell them if the soap, shampoo, condition and/ir lotion dispensers are low or empty. I forgot to mention in 'their' survey how quiet and pleasant (classy) the hotel was. Everyone there treated it (conducted thenselves) with common courtesy / manners, as they should -something you miss and appreciate when you have to stay at other "not-so-quiet" places.

Good value for price. Friendly staff. Wood laminate flooring is much appreciated to reduce dust and allergies. Only issue is need to replace sofa, perhaps smaller occasional chair for “the vertically challenged”.

We were touring the area over two weeks and used six different similarly priced hotels and this hotel was notably better than all the others. All the staff were super friendly and the large suite room was so nice. Breakfasts were tasty and the pool area was clean and a lovely temperature (not too warm). We found shade at most times of day there. A Brewburger restaurant/bar is a stone's throw away. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at the Best Western Ambassador Suites in Venice, Florida. We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean! We had enjoyable breakfast every morning! Extremely pleasant staff! Definitely will stay again!

Our room was very nice, well appointed, clean and plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had a large variety of foods to choose from some of which changed daily. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This was a great experience with the hotel. I was floored by how kind everyone was at the desk and staff. And they also had a lot of items available for the beach (towels, umbrella, and chairs). They went out of their way to help us with some needs for a funeral. Breakfast was delicious and had a ton of variety. The rooms were quiet and super clean. I wish every hotel was like this - it would make me desire to travel more.

We were in town for my father's funeral; and one family member, who intended to arrive at the hotel the night before, wasn't able to get there until 6 am. The hotel cancelled their pre-paid reservation and charged them for a second night but said they could only stay 5 hrs - until check out time.

The best western in Venice Florida was very clean, fresh and had the most amazing aroma when you walked in the door. The staff went out of their way to make sure that my stay was perfect. The breakfast and the staff maintaining the breakfast area, We're kind, friendly, and quite knowledgeable of the area. The room was extremely clean and smelled amazing. The pool was a perfect temperature. I can't say enough good things about Best Western plus of Venice Florida.

The staff couldn't correctly run my credit card and claimed it was declined. Amazingly when I came down and swiped the card it came back approved. They disturbed me and accused me for nothing other than their incompetence.

The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was huge and clean! The beds were super comfy! The water pressure was awesome, but the drain couldn't keep up. The bathroom needs a more powerful exhaust fan! The pool area was nice & stays open until 10pm. The breakfast staff was a pleasure to chat with! The laundry room was easy to access. Overall, a comfortable and clean place to relax!

The room was comfortable, clean, and large. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was above and beyond with deliciousness and cleanliness. The fitness center was very nice. The pool was clean and warm and relaxing. The staff is truly caring and helpful.

From Sat Apr 23 - Fri Apr 29 there was a broken yogurt machine in the breakfast area. The ice machine on the first floor was broken this entire time also. The hallways need to be cleaned - not sure the vacuum is working but they need to be steamed cleaned at this point. Both stairs need to be cleaned also. The latch in the bathroom is not working. The room darkening curtains are getting holes in them. Pool needs to be cleaned also.

I had a good experience the whole time I was there. I would recommend anyone to stay there that is traveling with family and needs to stay somewhere that's good quality yet with affordable prices. We plan to stay there again.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of our room. The hotel kept us well supplied with all we needed for our stay. The breakfast had a good variety of foods. The employees were very helpful and friendly which made for a very pleasant stay.

Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast. Nothing special. We stayed in Room 207 and the WiFi was very spotty on the phones and I could not get my IPAD to connect at times.

This is a nice hotel. Our room had a loveseat so the room was spacious. It also had a refrigerator and microwave and small sink in a kitchenette area. The breakfast is really good. REAL fried eggs and Canadian style ham. The staff is so friendly. We were able to check out and use 3 beach chairs for a couple of days.

The Staff was exceptionally kind & helpful - very accommodating to our needs. The was a good variety of Breakfast foods - hot foods varied daily. Extremely nice food preparer. Location was good for a variety of options: restaurants, town, various Birding sites, beach,

We loved this hotel because it was clean. and close to the beach. The staff was amazing ( Chris and Theresa ) The housekeeping is still not available on a daily basis but towels etc are available as needed. Beach chairs and beach towels are also available.

The rooms were very nice and a lot of space, they were clean also, beds were pretty comfy. They had breakfast which was good, alot of selections. They also had a nice pool area. We were there for a wedding and every one was happy with the rooms as far as I know

Stayed there three nights, back hurt every morning , did not sleep well, soft old mattress. One night stay would be fine, hotel is old, needs updating , service great, breakfast good, not many hotels in Venice, so I think overpriced..

Nice location. Large rooms, but rooms really need to be updated. First time I've ever seen a dehumidifier in a hotel room; apparently needed but very loud and ran all the time...very annoying. Friendly staff and standard breakfast

Great stay again for 3 nights in 2-Queen suite. Nice rooms, nice breakfast, nice but smallish pool area. Used the workout gym once this trip. Nicest of the 3 BW's stayed in this trip. Hotel gives a discount for repeat customers. Thanks !! Hotel right off the interstate 10-15 minutes from Venice beach.

Spacious room, welcoming staff, located just a few blocks off the interstate but without the traffic noise. Convenient to beaches, restaurants and shopping. We book the hotel before we buy plane tickets - we don't want to stay anywhere else!

It was a nice trip there, nice hotel , nice personals and all services . Pool very warm and water was clean.People around very honest and polite. Weather was awesomely nice with out any problem . I would like to to go there anytime.

We stayed 5 days and no one came to clean the room; we ran out of toilet paper and had to ask the front desk for a roll; there was no soap in the dispenser so we bought our own; the shampoo (again in a dispenser on the wall) was nearly empty and smelled like Pine-sol so went out and bought our own. The beds were uncomfortable and sank a foot once you sat on them; the room was dated, the carpets stained; the headboards had handprints on them; my nightstand had crusty white residue on it that I wiped off; I saw that I missed a spot and took a photo. At one point there was no hot water. I told the young lady at the front desk and instead of apologizing or explaining, she snapped, "The whole hotel doesn't have hot water!" On the last day we saw the housekeeper in the hallway; she glared at us--no smile, no "good morning". She had a hamper of dirty laundry in front of our door and she didn't bother to move it as we tried to enter our room. Nice people you have working here! They make you feel real welcome! Upon check-out, I asked the young man at the front desk why no one came to clean the room. He was rude and dismissive and said it had to be requested ahead of time. No one informed us of this during check-in. It was clear he couldn't care less. If I pressed the issue, I'm sure the reason would be "covid related" (the go-to excuse to offer poorer service). Horrible customer service skills and dirty rooms. I wonder at anyone who gives positive ratings for this place. I would never go back or recommend this to anyone--and it was made clear to me by the young people at the front desk and the cleaner that they don't give a flying fig. We wasted our time on money on this place, only to get treated like garbage! I hope these individuals and whoever manages this "hotel" get treated by others the way they treat their guests.

Loved this BW Hotel. Handily placed for transport links it has lots of restaurant and shopping options nearby. Well maintained, clean with fast internet, a good gym and a breakfast with a great selection of hot/cold options. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient and the place felt very safe.

Staff and common areas nice and clean, but nothing can be more disturbing than entering the room and finding dirty underwear from a previous guest on the floor. There was not a towel bar in the bathroom and one of the towel hooks was laying on the bathroom counter.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and every time it has been great it has great staff that are very helpful, hotel and rooms are clean, breakfast is the best around. Pool area is also very nice.

Warm welcome as they accommodated my reservation so I could keep the same room and they let me park my Motorcycle out of the rain! Very Clean and spacious and quiet-all 3 Location makes it easy to reach Sarasota and the beaches

Average units, clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good. Tried to go back for a funeral and staff not very accommodating with allowing an early check in so we could attend funeral. We eventually cancelled and checked in to another establishment.

Website pics inaccurate, thought I was booking an updated room when booking on BW website. Do not expect housekeeping during your stay, they say it's a only courtesy even after a six-day stay. Do not expect a clean room, we had black goop falling from the fan every time it was turned off. Safety issue: No cover on an electrical outlet. The GM this manages this hotel should be replaced. The staff is spread way too thin to do their jobs effectively. The hotel front desk person had to clean the bathroom before we realized it was fan goop. This is a mgmt and resource allocation issue, not a staff work ethic issue. The staff is very pleasant and kind, but the hotel policies are horrible. I just love having to empty my own trash and keep going to the front desk for a single bag. Apparently it's too expensive to hand out seven or eight bags. This review timeline is made just barely post-COVID, and staffing is a national issue, however the GM should limit capacity instead of greatly sacrificing quality. We will stay across the street at the Marriott chain next time.

- The Staff are generally cordial and willing to help when situations exist. That being said lets get to the details that mater - The building is very nice and clean with plenty of parking (at least while we were there). - Room: The bed was very hard and extremely close to the through the wall style A/C making it non-navigational for anyone with mobility disabilities (walker, wheelchair). - The A/C rattled like two squirrels playing ping pong the whole time. No sleep for two night (not good for someone trying to relax). - The toilet plugged twice and over flowed once (also not good). Did get moved to another room on the third day of a five night stay (that's always fun). Side Note - Upon returning home found an additional charge of $15 for a "Ripped Sheet". Called Hotel asked for a photo of the sheet. Clearly the sheet was not cut, but stressed ripped from years of laundering. Just wondering how many other ex-patrons were charge for a, "Ripped Sheet???". - My Opinion - If you have two choices, seriously consider going to the alternate.

It looks nice from the outside and the people who work there are very friendly and kind, but the room? Really? The first room we had for 2 nights and the bed was like sleeping on a flat rock, even my husband thinks so. The toilet over flowed twice and the air conditioner rattled almost constantly. We had technicians come to the room to "fix the air conditioner and it seemed to work, but the rattle never went away. The bed? Did I mention it was lie sleeping, trying to sleep anyway, on a flat rock? AND there was no one on call for maintenance on the weekend! What is that about? Really? Luckily the desk man was kind enough to give us another room. The bed was greatly better, but it still sucked. Atl east the toilet behaved.

I started staying at this location as a kid back around when they first opened with my family. Now I've started my own family, and continue to only stay at this location and have never had anything other than an amazing experience. I would never stay anywhere else in Venice, and I'd recommend this place for anyone staying in the area!

The overall experience at the hotel is adequate. The gym has what you need but that's it nothing special. The pool is small but clean. The room is a little out dated but newer televisions and roomy. The high rating is because of certain staff such as Hailey and Management that make the experience a nice one. Very important to me to be treated with great hospitality and that's what this hotel has HOSPITALITY. Very courteous staff from the front desk, maintenance, management, and cleaning services. I have been to so many hotels and they are all pretty much the same as far as amenities. The difference maker has to be the staff and that's my reason for the high rating.

If your looking for an inviting place to stay this is not the place. Breakfast is not worth the stay especially when cook doesn't show and when he does is rude. Front desk not super inviting or that friendly. Place is clean and that was a plus.

It was clean, and very close to the interstate. We stayed 2 nights in a suite, we have a 2yr old & 8mo old & wanted the extra space. The room was fine, our issues started on morning #1 when we came down for a hot breakfast. There was a sign posted asking people to be patient as the person cooking and serving were the same. So we waited about 15min, watching maskless employees walk by our family to get behind the barriers to get their own coffee. I finally went to the unmanned front desk, and had to raise my voice to get someone's attention. The unmasked employee just said it was only grab n go today, I had to ask him to make more bags as 2 bags would not feed my family of 4. While I understand people call in sick, plans change and in a Covid world grab n go is better than no breakfast... their customer service needs work. I probably wouldn't have even left the review, if we hadn't been passed by employees. Also, I have no preference when it comes to masks/no masks, but I do find it frustrating for a place of business to have signs posted that masks are required, and their employees don't wear them. I only saw 2 wearing them during our 2nights stay. We would probably try a different hotel next stay.

We recently stayed 2 nights for a softball tournament. Check in was okay. The older gentleman at the front desk was not very pleasant. He kind of seemed super annoyed with all the hustle and bustle (lots of kids). We stayed in room 227. The room had a very musty smell to it. The curtains were dusty. The ac was very dirty. The beds were uncomfortable. They folded into a taco when you sat on them. If you are looking to have fun and hang out with friends, this is not the place to do it. The older gentleman who works the night shift is a stickler for rules. Apparently, the hotel has a 10pm mandatory quiet time. He wouldn't allow the parents to sit by the pool. We were told we could sit in the social area but everyone would have to sit quietly. We respected the rules. It just reminded me of a strict curfew. In your room and lights out at 10pm. I just want others to know that this is not the place for fun or socializing. You'll be sent to your room.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The checkin was so smooth, the beds were super comfortable (I thought I was in my own bed). The breakfast was delicious despite COVID changing it up a bit. Would definitely stay here again. You won't be disappointed.

You can't beat the location. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable and it is well maintained. We liked the fact that housekeeping doesn't enter your room during your stay, but you can ask for things if you need them (new towels, coffee, trash pickup, etc). The only thing that seemed a little off was the hot breakfast. There was a staff member behind a roped area that would fill your plate with whatever you asked for but the quantities and variety were very limited. There was no fresh fruit. One morning there was a wait on eggs, and the next there was gravy but no biscuits. We opted to visit the Cracker Barrel next door for breakfast one of the days. All in all we would definitely stay here again when in Venice.

Spent 7 days at this hotel. First time we stayed at a hotel since the Covid hit. No daily room cleaning, had to put our trash outside our door and get additional trash bags at the front desk, they did change out the sheets and vacuum after 3 days, no toiletries to speak of, had to take dirty towels to front desk to exchange for clean ones, toilet seat entirely to short for elderly people, our tv did not work correctly so had to have it replaced, very low water pressure in bathroom sink, and breakfast was mediocre and had to be handed out by young man (you couldn't get it yourself). Positive side was the pool was nice, hotel was quiet, and the staff was very friendly. The other negative was I don't believe the price was reduced even though you do not receive all of the amenities due to the Covid.

This hotel is excellent with clean, comfortable rooms, large bathrooms, plus linens, delicious breakfasts and the friendliest staff in the world! We have stayed here many times and will continue for as long as we can.

You can tell that this BW has been updated and modernized. The pool is perfect. The rooms are decorated nicely with mirrors, a nice sized closet and plenty of room for a family of four. The hot breakfast was definitely a plus.

I have zero complaints about our stay. Everything was very clean. Normally there's SOMETHING that bothers me, whether it's a smell, damp carpet, a dirty corner in the bathroom etc. Not this time! The room was very spacious with a separate seating area and mini kitchenette. They also provided a great full breakfast, Covid-style with an attendant serving you. Outdoor pool was open, though we didn't use it. There are a couple restaurants and gas stations right next door in easy walking distance for meals and snacks. About 10-15 minute drive to beaches.

The hotel is very friendly, clean, quite and well maintained, considering all that is going on with COVID-19 they have to be commended on a job well done. All staff members are very friendly and helpful they make you feel welcome. My wife and I were very impressed, but then again we have never had a bad experience at any Best Western

The hotel has a very nice cozy feel! It's a nice change from all of the neon colors in most of the Florida offerings. The staff was great and the room was comfortable with great pillows! One of nicest Best Westerns I've stayed at!

The hotel was nice and comfortable, but despite promises to the contrary, it wasn't safe or clean. The bathroom mirror had splatters, somebody left behind a nail file. The worst was at breakfast where a posted sign said to wear masks, yet every patron but us was mask less. The hotel worker made no attempt to enforce this safety measure. We left in disgust without our morning meal

I don't know how old this hotel was, but it looked brand new. Very clean and quiet. The room was very well designed and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The internet was fast. There were plenty of plugs for devices.

We had neve heard of Venice florida and this Best Western seemed convenient. It was so convenient and beautiful. To have suites is such a relief when you are traveling in a big group, Staff seemed to follow COVID guidelines, only a couple of front desk workers weren't wearing a mask but stayed behind the glass. Our rooms were nice, but housekeeping missed 2 days of cleaning/giving fresh towels. There was one house keeping girl and I cannot recall her name, she had ed hair I think and she went ABOVE AND BEYOND when she cleaned our rooms the last 2 days. Breakfast was great, if you ever get a chance to see Patty, be so sweet with her. She is just amazing, she made our stay so much better, you can't feed yourselves due to COVID and Patty went above and beyond to make sure that we were getting enough food. We were so excited to see her everyday. Such an amazing person. The rooms air conditioning doesn't get the full room cool, at least not to us. Most beaches are only 15 minutes away and super convenient. We are definitely coming back!! Group/family of 8

So.... My husband is her on business work and we have been traveling around the states for his job. We have been staying here almost a week now to get a change of scenery and enjoy the beach. Tuesday afternoon I went to the front desk to purchase some food and drinks. The gentlemen who was working there His name was Ron I believe was extremely rude made several remarks about my diet, and was extremely nosy about my business here. He looked my room Up and the moment he saw our last Estrada he goes and says go figure immigrants and the fact he questioned my work as a house spouse he made a comment regarding homosexual lifestyle and called me a faggot as i walked off extremely pissed and disappointed that people with that type of mentality are hired to a place of customer service. if your that old and white with racial issues u should find a garbage or custodian profession..... we are both very outraged with this my husband is a registered nurse and does mortgages for a living. you can imagine we have a very busy life and to be face with this homophobic fagggot comment by the front desk is unacceptable!!!!

The room had a few spiders when we got to it and had a musty smell, but was clean other than that. Our bathroom was out of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash but luckily we had brought our own. The breakfast was ok considering the covid restrictions. The staff was overall friendly (when we saw them, like 1 time)

You don't have to call customer service here everybody here knows what they're doing in their happy to take care of you I have not had to worry about a single thing I have not had to make a phone call to fix anything they all know their jobs inside and out and it is a great comfort it makes a stay Pleasant remember this is true customer service

We did not arrive until after midnight, and desk personnel couldn't have been nicer. We were able to check out beach chairs and towels for our visit, which was a nice surprise. Clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff, walking distance to some good quick eats, and nice breakfast.

The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. Hotel is not in the center of town but located in a good area close to restaurants and an easy 10 to 15 minute drive from downtown and the beaches. I would stay here again.

Our room was great. Big, clean, comfy.. We were in this area two nights for a spring training baseball game and I wish we would have stayed in this Best Western both nights. Room was much nicer for a lower price.

We had a great stay at the hotel There were no issues with anything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was great. Coffee in the room tasted great. Used the internet while we were there and had no problems hooking up.

Excellent location, amenities,rooms are spacious,clean, friendly staff and excellent customer service. Price was excellent when compared to other area hotels.Non smoking and no pets a plus. Highly recommend this hotel.

drains and shut off not working well disappointen when , upon check we reporte the problem and were first told it was not problem, had to etail the problem more before acceptance. drop shut off in the tub left quite lot of water running, had to fiddle with it to get water off--expensive flaw to the hotel, annoyance to us. drain in lavratory didn't drain well so patience was required--needs cleaning or care.

The hotel is very nice, and our room appeared to be newly remodeled. It was the handicapped accessible room, and had plenty of space to move the wheelchair around, and had a great roll in shower. All hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is great. Hotel is located near I75, so it is easy to go north to Sarasota, or south to Ft Myers. Area surrounding the hotel was very safe too. There is also a nice outdoor pool, and a living room type space that would be good for visiting with friends or playing cards. I would definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed at the Venice location. We left the hotel to attend our grandmother funeral. Upon leaving my niece realized she was missing her rings. Called and front desk said they would go grab them off counter. After funeral we headed back to hotel to retrieve rings and they said “we didn't see them on the counter”. So my niece now doesn't have her Bolivian rings and the staff is a few hundred dollars wealthier.

The property has really gone downhill since our stay there last year. We were on a "free" (points) stay and had made a reservation about 8 weeks in advance and requested a ground floor. We are "handicapped" but are mobile and usually leave the accessible rooms for customers with more severe problems. Wer arrived about 3:30 PM (the hotel was not full at that time) and were told that the ground floor was not available. We were assigned room 330 which is at the end on the hall on the 3rd floor. the carpet was torn in several places (2'+/- long tears in the center on the room) which made for a serious tripping hazard. the mattress was on it;s last legs and should be replaced. The hotel only has one elevator which makes for long waits when trying to leave in the morning.

We've lost count of the number of times we have stayed at the Venice FL Best Western and we are never disappointed. The location is excellent - close to restaurants, major highways, shopping and a short ride to the beach. The entire staff goes all out to make your stay enjoyable. There is always a friendly greeting at the front desk and housekeeping worked around our schedule to keep our room clean and tidy. And I'm always impressed by the staff who manage the breakfast area. You couldn't ask for a more varied selection of breakfast offerings, beautifully presented. What a great way to start the day.

Still my #1 place to stay in the Venice area. I LOVE this hotel. The decor is awesome, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the rooms and hotel are spotless! Thank you once again BW Venice for making my weekend enjoyable! We will be back!

Our two nights at this Best Western Plus were enjoyable. The room was very large with a sofa and night stands. The bathroom was a standard motel type. The front desk check-in was quick and efficient. The only real problem was an empty 12-pack container of beer that was left behind a chair in our room. This was the only example of substandard service we received during our stay.

Beautiful newly updated rooms. Anna at the front desk goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Beware of the older man at night. He will make your stay stressful but don't worry, Anna will be there in the AM to fix whatever he did.

We only spent one evening and our room was called basic but had two separate spaces-one with the bed and another with small table for two, couch and Occasional chairs. Clean and well decorated throughout and a better than usual breakfast. I was tempted to make the breakfast burrito as all the fixings were there!

Wow! Did not expect the accommodations to be this good. We've stayed at many other competitors but this was so far better in all respects. BW Plus is a ++ and has become my "go to" place. Great rewards too...

The room and suite we had was considered by me to warrant an excellent rating. i had no complaints at all. Prices were very reasonable and the facility very pleasant and inviting Rooms very clean and staff friendly but professional and i recommend it for travelers who visit Venice. i would plan on staying here again..

The rooms were very spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts that I have experience - Great variety! Have never had yogurt dispensed from a machine, but it was good!

Room size was the big perk. Check in was not the greatest simply because of the gentleman who checked me in seemed bothered by needing 4 room keys and they only had two prepared. Yes, I did reserve the room stating 4 adults. Breakfast was ordinary. Service at breakfast though was great. Kept up on everything including cleanliness. But food wasn't ever really hot. But I would still stay again if needed mainly because of room size.

Very friendly Staff !!!!We were very impressed by the high quality of this motel.The rooms are big with fridge, microwave,42 HDTV, free Wifi...a.s.o. Our room and the rest of the motel was spotless clean!! 24 hours hot coffee in Lobby and a coffeemaker in the room! Very important for me :-) Bed was very comfortable. Although it is located close to the I 75, we did not hear any traffic or noise from the hallway .Only five minutes to downtown Naples and 15 minutes to the beaches.We were very impressed with the breakfast provided at the hotel. There was an extensive variety of items available.The Pool on the right of the main entrance is clean and warm. And there is a Gym inside. We booked for one night... and decided to extend our stay for two more nights. We will be back soon!

Bugs in the sink and tub every morning as well as long black hairs in the tub first time I used it; outlet in bathroom burned out my hairdryer; didn't get my room cleaned one day and the cleaning crew lied about what time I took the do not disturb sign off the door.

Our niece from Tampa recommended this Best Western so we could all stay there and hit the beaches for shark tooth hunting. The suites were roomy, quiet, clean and reasonably priced. They had a very nice breakfast area and even had fresh grapefruit one of the mornings we were there. I recommend this hotel unless you really want to stay by the beach.

Just a good time enjoyed by all of us. It was a getaway much needed in this fast pace life we live. we have plans to return next year around this time of year. Keep up the great work we enjoyed every part of this trip. Thank you

My husband and I, along with our 4 children stayed here for 3 nights and we had a very enjoyable stay. We live on the East Coast of FL and we left our home fleeing Hurricane Dorian. This hotel was very hospitable. Venice Beach was 15 minutes away. At the front desk they offered beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and even beach toys for the kids! It was so nice to have these added touches that made life simpler. The hotel itself is one of the cleanest we've ever seen, our room was also very clean. You can tell the manager of this hotel cares about this property as it is very well maintained. Everyone who worked there was so kind and courteous. We felt very welcome. We really liked the location of this hotel as well. When we visit the Gulf Coast we will certainly stay here again!

Best Western is doing everything right! From the notifications to the ease of checking in and out. They provided fast internet and an awesome free breakfast. The room was clean and cold just the way I like it. No issues whatsoever just goodtimes!

This was my second time visiting this hotel and this visit was a couple of years from the last visit. Nothing has changed- in a good way! I absolutely LOVE this hotel! The breakfast is awesome, especially for free, they have beach chairs and scoops you can borrow when heading to the beach, the place is spotless and the staff is super friendly. Cute little gift shop. Very reasonable rates too! Thanks for another great stay! This is now my go-to hotel when in the Venice area.

We have currently stayed at this property 3 times in the last month and a half and it has been excellent each time. When traveling to assist aging parents, it can be stressful and exhausting. At this property you don't have to worry about anything, plus the hot breakfast is such a nice amenity. The entire staff is excellent and are willing to help in any way they can.

We stayed for one night on our way to the Keys. It was one of the best hotel stays we've experienced. Everything was clean and well kept. The room was nothing short of perfect. Sitting area and sleeping area we separate. The room was clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast had the same quality of a buffet with plenty to choose from. Staff were very friendly. If I could rate them higher than 10 I would so.

We visit Florida every year and always stay at this hotel. In the ten years we have been visiting the area, we have never had a bad stay at this hotel. The rooms are always clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is always full and has a great selection of food.

This is by far one of the Best Best Western's I have ever stayed at. The rooms are oversized, wet bar, fridge, microwave, and the bathroom is a nice size. Price was unbelievable for as nice of a room as this was. We travel to Venice about 3-4 times a year and one time this property was booked and we couldn't get in so we had to stay at a Hampton Inn in town and what a difference! Hampton was twice the price and run down molded out room with smelly water. After that visit I see why this Best Western is always crowded. Only place to stay in Venice!

Nice, large suites, comfy beds,good coffee, hot/cold breakfast...pancakes and all! The location is perfect--driving from any airport, it is a minute away from I-75...very convenient! Highly recommended--we've stayed here many times!

Great hotel, with a good location, near McDonald's, Publix and gas stations, quiet area, near the highway with not noise, 10 minutes away in car to Venice beach, and 30 min to siesta key, to me was a good location to visit the other beaches nearby like Ana Maria Island, Coquina and Siesta. The breakfast is good and plenty, they changed everyday, the room is big and clean, included microwave and a mini fridge, comfy beds and clean lines and towels, and the staff did everything to make us feel welcome, we did early check in and breakfast. We had stayed at Best Westerns in the past and they weren't that great. This place, however, was fabulous. We stayed two nights and would be hard-pressed to find much of anything to kick about. The bed was great, the facilities were wonderful, they have a nice pool, laundry, exercise room and four different stations at their breakfast nook. It was quiet and centrally located from Osprey down to Englewood. We don't give many 5s - but this is one of them,

We stayed for only one night as we were passing through the area. This hotel is a short drive to the village of Venice and the beaches. Large, clean and nicely furnished suite. Ample and free parking. Very pleasant staff. Good breakfast.

If you want a top notch hotel in every way, this is your place. Friendly, professional and helpful desk staff and excellent housekeeping staff. Has to be one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at and the attention to detail is unreal. Even the hallways were spotless and fresh feeling. Wish i could take them with me everywhere I have to stay. From lovely decor to quick access to I-75 they can't be beat. Can't wait to stay again. Awesome job guys!

My wife and I stayed four nights here the last of May. Our daughter was getting married on the beach. This hotel was very nice. The room was spacious and had all that we needed. The staff was super nice to us and we received good towel service. The breakfast was very good but just what you could expect from a free hotel breakfast. Overall, we would gladly stay here again.

We normally would stay at the Holiday Inn Express in front of the Best Western, but we decided to checkout out Best Western and have found a new hotel to stay in while in Venice. This hotel does not allow pets, which we loved. It's very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is your average breakfast but it served it's purpose. They had fresh fruit out all day long and in the evening they had fresh baked cookies. The pool isn't huge but it served it's purpose also. We go to Venice to go to the beach. There are restaurants close by for other meals. This is now our choice of hotels when we visit Venice!

In town for a wedding, our 3 day stay was excellent in all regards. Convenient to the highway, beach side wedding, swimming, and our Northport relatives; our room, breakfast, and front desk and housekeeping staff were everything you could ask for. Best Western has opened our eyes!

We stayed a couple of nights at the BW Ambassador while on a mini tour of Florida. On arrival the hotel was just recovering from a power failure (a lorry had hit a nearby power cable). As the lift was not working, and unable to use the stairs, the front desk staff quickly relocated us to a ground floor room. The hotel is reasonably well located, just a short drive from historic Venice Beach and has all the facilities you should need. Breakfast was filling and the area was kept very clean. The room was well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Upon checking in we were greeted by Dylan. Thsi gentleman goes above and beyond on making sure his guest are treated well. He offered some suggestions on things to do in the area to us and they were just perfect. He was always engaging and smiling. The rooms are very spacious and quiet. The pool area was clean. Breakfast had several good options and the area was always clean. They have an area to sit and play games that they have on hand. If you forgot any beach items they have some to check out as well as beach towels. I would defintely stay here again

We spent three nights for a mini vacation. This hotel is just off I-75 but far enough away to NOT hear highway noise. This location provides reasonably close (driving) access to numerous Gulf beaches from Englewood to Siesta Key. There are many excellent restaurants in the area. We were very impressed with the breakfast provided at the hotel. There was an extensive variety of items available. The two negatives were that the elevator was out of service and the Internet in our room was marginal.

Having just returned to UK from a 11 night stay at this hotel we cannot praise it enough. The food at breakfast was excellent, all of it kept topped up regularly, and special mention to Kelly who made the experience more enjoyable with her friendly smile. All the staff in the hotel are as helpful and answered all our questions we had. The rooms are clean and tidy ours was a one bed suite but was plenty big enough with a large bed, sofa, small kitchen area with microwave and fridge and ample storage space. Added bonus is the loan of beach equipment free of charge. It was a pleasure to stay here and hopefully will be back in the future.

Needed 3 rooms in a hurry due to raveling for funeral in family. Had to book this due to availability of other hotels in area. Price was close to $ 275 with AAA discount for average room. Check in agent was grouchy. Breakfast was great, selection very good.

Great overall experience. Cleanest place we have stayed in in a long time. Everyone friendly, great location close to everything. Only dings were the breakfast and value. Breakfast needs work. Value, I got a special rate if I took the no refund option less then a week ahead of time. Had I waited and booked the day of it would have been $45 less a night. Since I was locked in they could not help.

Awesome front desk (Jordan was really nice), breakfast was really good, house keepers are very sweet and well mannered, then pool is really warm and clean. The cookies at the front desk are the best..

We've been staying at this hotel since they first opened probably near 20 years. They have never once disappointed us in any way, whether they stay was overnight, or close to a month. They go above and beyond what I expect from a hotel.

I enjoyed a two day stay at this hotel. Suite was beautiful and roomy. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good and seating plentiful. Conveniently located adjacent to the interstate. A fun burger/wings restaurant is just a walk across a parking lot. Mexican and chinese restaurants are just down the block. Our room rate was significantly cheaper than a near by similar hotel.

This is an older property that has been updated. It was originally built in the 1990's. I like their beds. I like their heated outdoor pool. I think it's very interesting that they loan folks "beach tools" to go looking for sharks teeth (they also loan chairs). I did think their carpeting was a bit dated. Also some of their staff weren't very helpful when asked about the area. Everything in this hotel was very clean. I liked the granite countertops in the bathrooms. This hotel is located right off I-75. I would stay at this hotel again.

My husband and I checked into Best Western Ambassador Suites in Venice, Florida for an extended vacation. We arrived Feb 1, 2019 and sadly left for home on March 7, 2019. When you enter the hotel they have a beautiful lobby which was sparkling clean!!! Every employee was friendly and greeted you with a smile. Our room was pleasant and overlooked the pool area. The bed was comfortable and the only negatives were the pillows. They were more like a throw pillow than a regular bed pillow. We had a small fridge and microwave so we were able to prepare small meals in our room. As time went on, we met lovely guests and many of us became friends. We were close to the highway and a 10 minute ride to Venice Beach. I would highly recommend this hotel and we would go back there again!!!!!! Thanks to all the employees who made our stay great!!!!!

We had a king suite on the first floor. Very spacious. Wish the tv was in the sitting area instead of on the dresser in front of the bed but we twisted the stand and it was ok. Very clean. We stayed here as it was between two spring training baseball stadiums that we were visiting in Sarasota and Port Charlotte. Also visited Venice beach near here for sharks teeth. This hotel had the best morining breakfast that we have had in any hotel. Very pleased overall. Four stars as nothing is ever perfect. Not a fan of short toilets and soap dispensers in the bathroom and bathtub.

We were in Venice for a wedding and had a wonderful stay. Rooms are spacious. Staff is most accessible and very helpful. Dylan was especially helpful and cordial. Breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here at the BW Ambassador three separate times and each visit has been great. The rooms are spacious in size, always clean and there is plenty of parking available. On this visit we had a king room with a couch, fridge and Keurig coffee maker. The rooms are quiet and each has a 42" flat screen tv. Check in was efficient and breakfast is included in the room rate. On the weekends breakfast ended at 9:30 which we thought was a little early, but no big deal. Bathrooms are modest in size but well appointed and plenty of water pressure in the shower. The property also has an outdoor pool to enjoy.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in February. We loved the hotel! It was convient to many places, restaurants, highways and Venice Beach! The room was large with a sitting room and comfortable bed! The room was next to the pool and the gym! It was close to the breakfast room! The breakfast was very good! Waffles, fruit, muffins, yogurt, cereal, tea and coffee all day long! The pool was heated and nicely landscaped! The people we met were very friendly!

The hotel and grounds were a bit dated but very clean and comfortable was a great change from the “superior“ hotels that we had been staying in. The staff was great and made sure that everything was to our likeing. They even provided us with the extra coffee and tea we requested right away.

We were very impressed by the high quality of this hotel. Our room was extremely clean, bathroom had excellent lighting, towels were huge and soft, bed was very comfortable, check-in was smooth and quick by a friendly and efficient associate. Although it is located close to the expressway, we did not hear traffic. Neither did we hear any hallway noise but we know there were many guests staying there because the parking lot was full. We enjoyed our stay completely at this well-run hotel. Kudos to the management and staff!

It was late and the Best Western Hotel was conveniently located just off the highway. Check-in was fast and easy, even though we had not made a reservation. The room was clean, neat & tidy, and reasonably priced as well. Once settled, we inquired as to a place for supper and the front desk person quickly directed us to Brew Burgers, just across the road. Very Handy! We tried it and I would have to say that was one of the best burgers, ever! Service was also top notch; thanks for the advice.

My wife and I spent a single night here on our way a bit further north. Our room was really nice, with a comfortable bed and nice appointments. The room was a small suite with a nice couch, small refrigerator and microwave. The free breakfast was OK, but nothing special. The pillows on the king bed are quite small, but there are many of them. Although the price of the room was a bit higher than we normally pay, we would stay here again if in the area.

Newer place and breakfast was great but a little bit over-priced. And there was no one at the front desk to check in on Wednesday @ 5:00 in the afternoon. There was no bell and there seemed to be a group of employees maybe in a meeting but no one bothered to help. I waited around for a good 5+ minutes before someone would acknowledge me.

This property is an all-suites hotel and it is a really nice facility. The rooms are large and extremely clean. Customer service is second to none. Breakfast is really pretty good. We definitely would stay again.

We've been here five days and this hotel has been the best. We have a queen suite which includes a little seating area, microwave and fridge. The breakfast bar is great. Eggs, bacon, waffles and fresh yogurt to name a few. Venice is a great place to stay - we made day trips to Siesta Key, Clearwater Beach and there are beautiful beaches in Venice as well. Stay here! We bought this as part of a bundle on Priceline, included airfare, hotel and rental car.

We were visiting family for a weekend and Best Western was so convenient and in our budget so we have it a shot. GLAD WE DID! The rooms were large and cozy. Comfortable queen beds rather than the small doubles most places have. The microwave and fridge came in hand as well. A warm reception staff greeted us and checked us in quickly. To my surprise, the extra towels and pillows I requested were already in the room! No call back down to housekeeping for us! We enjoyed the 24/7 water, coffee, read,and hot cocoa in the lobby, but were surprised by the variety of the breakfasts offered! We had a choice of regular or chocolate chip waffles and pancakes (with a toppings bar!), French toast, eggs, meats, breakfast burritos, biscuits with gravy, cereals, breads, muffins, fruits, pastries, juices... Yeah.... It was good!Loved the free Wi-Fi and business centers. Each floor also had a shelf of books that guests could read.My only personal dislike was the dark striped carpet in our room. I prefer a solid or a different color pallet.Though I didn't make use of them this trip, the fitness center and pool will be on my list next trip to try. We would definitely stay here again!

We always stay here. Good breakfast and the pool is nice. Free cookies too! We enjoyed the clean rooms and clean bathrooms. No complaints! Staff is very friendly and they talk to you everytime you walk by! Pool is pretty !

Everybody was extremely friendly. The location is ideal right of I75. It is a very well maintained clean property. They have a great breakfast buffet. Plenty of parking. The computer Kiosks are on each floor. I would definitely go back.

Stayed at Best Western for four nights, nice location and price was really good. Hotel was very clean and employees were nice, bed needs to be updated. Looking forward next time staying nearer to beach, but what with red tide we went with Best Western.

What a great place to stay!! Very close to the highway and still a quiet hotel. Very friendly and very help full staff, Breakfast is done right with everything you could ask for, Close to the downtown village which is a must see if you have the time

Employees are extremely helpful and friendly! Really like the way they are going green and have done away with the small bottles and installed dispensers in the bathroom. This also carries through to the breakfast area as they use milk/cream dispensers, etc. Only complaint is the coffee could be of better quality. BONUS-There is a living room off of the lobby with a fireplace and comfy couch to take advantage to. Saw some people having their own private happy hour there and it is also like a library.

The BEST Best Western I had ever stayed at! Super clean, very comfortable, spacious, helpful staff. Plenty of parking space available. Close to the shops/groceries store. Will come back without hesitation.

The Best Western Plus Venice is a very nice property conveniently located near the interstate highway, Venice and North Port. Reception was very friendly and helpful. The room/suite was spacious, functional and clean. The bedding was several steps above basic hotel bedding. The included breakfast buffet was average, basic. We definitely plan on staying at this property in the future.

The Best Western Plus Ambassador Suites Venice was very clean & nice.The location was good for visiting many places around the area and beyond it.I use trip Advisor for all of my vacation planning.I rarely have a problem.

Best hotel we stayed at on our week long motorcycle trip!. We arrived early and the clerk graciously stored our bags and called us when our rooms were ready. The hotel is in an excellent location and have a wonderful staff! Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again when we are in the area!

Stayed here for two nights and found this hotel to be quite pleasant. The staff and hotel are great. Very comfortable and relaxing as we were here for a wedding. Rooms are nice, as well as lobby for meeting and having breakfast and coffee, Great stay

My bf and I spent 1 night here on our way down to sanibel island for vacation. I got a really good rate and a rather large room. When I checked in, the front desk young lady was very helpful with dinner suggestions and also told us which beach would be the best to hunt for shark teeth. We were on the 1st floor right off the lobby which was good for us since we smoke and wish to go in and out. Jamie, that worked nightshift was very friendly. I felt safe in this hotel and in the parking lot outside at night. The breakfast was not good however. The boiled egg tasted like it had been frozen then thawed, the scrambled eggs looked very overcooked, I took 1 bite of the boiled egg and it was so bad it ruined my appetite for anything else, so I just had coffee. The hotel was very clean and beautifully decorated. Even decorated for fall/Halloween. There is coffee in the lobby 24 hrs and it is not bad. I would definitely stay here again, just skip the breakfast.

very clean room! the best breakfast you can imagine!!!!! Nice pool, but small.... DO NOT BOOK THROUGH HOTELS.COM!!!! We booked through this 3rd party and were so sorry. The price is cheaper if you go directly through the hotel!!!! yes, 81.00 at the hotel and 101.00 through the 3rd party..... I will definitely go back to this hotel in the future, but i will book directly through Best Western.

We have been to a few BW andnone can come close to compare to this perfect place. We want to come back...and i highly recommend it for all! Not a single complaint! All needs were met! It was like being in a castle!

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and it has so many extras. It's located close to beaches and some fantastic restaurants. Red Tide had hit Venice, but we drove up to St Pete and had a great time.

Located off I-75 but once you get here you forget about that - very quiet here. Plenty of parking and small pool located at the front of the hotel - good for a small dip or sitting around in the evening. The lobby area is very clean and open. We were there kinda early and the front desk was so helpful and accommodating and got us a quiet room. We brought our bags to the room, put some drink & food in the small frig and drove out to the beach. We have stayed at Best Westerns before but like another guest said this is best Best Western (and I believe it!). Has everything going for it - clean quiet hotel, good beds for sleeping, friendly staff, good price, close to beaches and town if you need anything. They have a comfortable room (you don't feel like you have to eat and run) for buffet breakfast - a few selections for vegan so that worked for us. Plenty of other selections for those non-vegans. We stayed for 4 nights and it was just perfect for everything that we wanted to do. Filled up gas on the way out and on to our next adventure. Love the Venice area and this hotel especially. Will definitely be back again - hopefully not too far in the future.

Very clean hotel and nice employees but the rooms are extremely small. Very nice breakfast room with ok food. Location is amazing close to latin quarter and noterdame cathedral. Hop on hop off boat and buses very close as well.

This the best Best Western I have ever stayed at. Great clean rooms, friendly staff and a good breakfast. We stay here about six times a year and you can't beat it especially for the price. It is in an excellent location.

We needed a place to rest our head after packing up our home before we moved during the evacuation of hurricane Irma. Excellent rooms and customer service. We won't be back...only because we dont live there anymore. Definitely 5 stars. ?????

We needed to get out of our house while floors being done. Chose Best Western since we are rewards members. Wonderful place to stay. Very clean, near several restaurants, beautiful room with fridge, microwave, and mini-sink. Could see I75 and did not even hear it! So quiet. Pool gorgeous, plenty of chairs/tables/chaises/pool noodles. Great breakfast with very attentive attendant, all kinds of choices, lots of good protein and extras. Very homey feeling, even has magazines and books to read. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Stayed for 5 nights July 2018. Upgraded to hardwood floors at check in. Great free breakfast in the morning consisting of waffles, eggs, biscuits, gravy extra. Beds were very comfortable room clean. Excellent service

I would say this hotel is nice and very clean. The breakfast was good and included with our room rate. We stayed here after a show in Sarasota so it was good for what we needed it. It is close to the beach about 10 mins. They have food options within walking distance. Brew and Burger within 3 mins walking totally worth it. I was disappointed with the pool area. It is very small and nothing special so we didn't even bother to try it out we went to the beach instead.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, very clean and tidy. The King bed was very comfortable. The bathroom/shower was very nice and clean. Their towels were of excellent quality - They always replenished our towels as we had a need. There was a mini kitchenette which was perfect for us because we brought a few groceries of our own (beer, water, soda, yogurt, lunchmeat). The breakfast was higher quality than most hotels and we enjoyed it each of the 4 mornings we were there. The staff and cleaning crew were friendly and most helpful. The location was perfect; just off I-75 and 6 minutes to downtown Venice's shopping and eateries. We will return to this hotel in the future!

Booked a king suite with jetted tub for a very good price at the last minute. I first learned the room was right off of the lobby, which made me concerned about privacy and noise. The second I opened the door and stepped into room 118, I felt like I was in a miniature apartment. Noise was never a factor! I completely forgot I was even in a hotel! The room was VERY clean, even the tub. I could walk out of my room a few feet and purchase beer and have it added to my room tab :) The breakfast in the AM was pretty average, the omelettes were really good. Housekeeping didnt bug us by knocking on our door before checkout, which was awesome. The ONLY complaint I really have is that the curtains in the room are too short! They dont go all the way to the floor, allowing light to illuminate the room in the AM, making it difficult to sleep in! Please consider fixing this! Overall, I will definitely be back. Staff was super friendly too. Thank you guys for the awesome experience :)

We have just returned from 5 lovely days at this hotel and would definitely recommend to families and couples. The front desk staff are very friendly and informative on places to visit and local beaches. The pool is only small but great to have a cool down when returning from the beach. The breakfast room is really lovely and the breakfast is lovely especially the yogurt machine. The rooms are so comfortable and always lovely when returning after a hard day at the beach. We would definitely return if we are ever in the area.

We stayed from 6/3-6/8. This is our 2nd year of staying here. This is a great hotel. Check in is easy, staff are friendly, rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. They provide everything you need, including refrigerator, microwave, paper towels, soaps shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The rooms are large. The breakfast covers everything you could want. Great food and top notch service by the breakfast attendant. The pool is on the smaller size, but perfect for the location since everyone is heading to the beaches anyway. It's only open until 9:00 which is early for vacationers who want to swim and relax at the end of their day. 10:00 or 11:00 would be much better. That's the only thing I would change. The location is ideal. It's right near 75 and there's easy access to all the beaches and attractions. Everything was great!! We will be back!!

after being enticed by a good rate and good comments, I spent six nights here last month. I found the hotel to be very good, clean, rooms well decorated and spacious, good cable service and very good WIFI, attractive new bathrooms, comfortable beds which could have been a bit firmer by that's a personal preference. I didn't use the pool or breakfast so can't opine. staff were friendly and attentive on the few occasions when we interacted. I would be pleased to recommend this hotel and will probably stay here again.

Excellent in all ways. The location was easily accessible from I-75. The room was spacious and quiet. There were restaurant and service station options nearby. The gentleman who checked us in and helped us on various occasions during our stay was very friendly and professional, and most helpful. Thank you BW Venice for a great stay.

The staff was great to deal with, always friendly. The location for myself was perfect, easy to get around, easy to find and still quiet enough to sleep while near the highway. The was very nice and clean. The only thing we would have liked was a stove to cook on. We found some great places to pick up local foods but did not have a place to cook them.

Our stay at this hotel was a pleasant surprise during a hard trip for a funeral. We expected a great hotel from Best Western, but they surpassed our expectations. Krista from housekeeping was AMAZING! The front desk staff was exceptional, and the breakfast was wonderful. The beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept in. If we ever have a need to go out in this area of Florida again, we definitely know where we will be staying!

It is a very clean and maintained hotel. Everyone is very nice there. The rooms were big, clean and quiet. The breakfast is very good and satisfying. :) The pool as well was clean and always had enough towels to use. Will definitely go back to stay there.

Great hotel. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Great location, right of the interstate. Just a couple of miles from shopping centers and restaurants. A Cracker Barrel is right around the corner. Rooms are nice and quiet.

This place has everything you would want in the room - microwave, fridge, coffee maker, couch and chairs if you want to have people stop in for a drink, beds are queens but not much space on either side to get in or out if more than 2 people in room. But they have a superb breakfast, with good hours, a nice lounge area behind breakfast room and in lobby and they have most anything you would need to stay for sale in the lobby area. Good price also.

We travelled to Venice to attend the Shark Tooth Festival and stayed 2 nights at the Best Western Plus Ambassador Suites. The hotel is conveniently located off I-75 and is within a 15 minute drive to downtown Venice. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was a suite with two queen beds, had a living room area with a couch ,one chair and a table with two chairs, a microwave, a fridge and a cabinet as well as one tv. A large bathroom with a full length counter, sink, mirror and blow dryer. Bathtub and shower. On the wall by the sink were dispensers with soap and lotion. They also had a bar soap. They had dispensers in the shower for soap, conditioner and body soap. Thought this was a good idea for our environment. The room was big and never felt crowded. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, they had fresh cut grapefruit, strawberries as well as bananas, oranges. Good variety of cold and hot foods. Large dining area as well as a second room with a couch, chairs and moreseating.the staff was friendly and very helpful. We were ten minutes from the Main Street of shops and restaurants and 15 minutes from the beach and pier or the south jetty were we saw a school of dolphins eating and playing. Will definitely stay at this hotel again and go back to the south jetty and the beach. Loved the street of shops and restaurants, food we had was excellent. There was four people in our party.

This is the best hotel to stay at in Venice. The suites are very large and have plenty of space for the 4 of us. Breakfast is great with a large variety. The staff are very friendly. We were able to borrow beach towels and other items which is very convenient. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, they had fresh baked cookies in the evening. This was our second stay and we plan on staying here every time we come to Venice.

Our grandchildren from Pa were visiting were visiting there area and we took advantage of their visit to also visit the area and take them to the beach. Since we have stayed at BW Venice many times before we again selected it because it is very good. Price was a little high but conditions were excellent.

New hotel. Nice styling inside and out. Large rooms with kitchenettes (microwave, sink, mini fridge). Pool was small and not well sheltered - it was squeezed in between the hotel and the front parking lot. Breakfast was ample, but quality was a little lacking (eggs). Some ants in the room, but management was very responsive to my initial review, so I am updating here. We would try the hotel again.

Business stay, very nice staff, excellent room and overall a very nice place to stay! Many families on vacation enjoying their stay, great breakfast and just a very warm, excellent, clean and convenient location.

Went to Venice for a business trip and stayed at Best Western Plus ambassador Suites. The staff was very friendly, I came in late and they were accomadating. the room was clean and spacious. all in all, very nice.

Hotels around this area are very busy in March so the rates are high. I paid over $200 for a suite and was told that I had a good rate ......instead of $300. The two of us didn't need such a big room but that's all that was available. There's a well-maintained small outdoor pool. This is in a commercial area and is not at all near the beach. Breakfast area is very confined so it's difficult to get to the toast area. Marriott does a much better job with breakfast. This hotel had a lovely sitting room where we could visit with friends. Room was quite clean and staff is friendly.

Check in was a breeze. Room was large and very clean. Hot breakfast buffet was more than adequate. Pool was relatively small, but pool area was clean and the surroundings were landscaped to provide some shade if wanted. The staff was outstanding. There were even beach chairs and towels offered at no additional cost. Restaurants nearby. Close to town and beaches. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Our room was large and very comfortable. It was very beautiful, the floors are pretty, the room colors and décor is nice. We had a mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable. The desk clerks were so nice and helpful. We ask about which beach to visit to hunt for sharks teeth and the clerk offered us a sand sifter to use at no cost.

Three of us shared a room. It was very spacious. Pool area was nice. We never ate breakfast during our time there, but it was always busy and smelled great! I would definitely stay here again if we make it down!

Excellent rate, convient location, very large and well appointed room, comfortable beds. Only problem was that with 2 queen beds, the one near the window was immediately next to the air conditioner. .

Stayed here last time we were in area 4 years ago, haven't done done any renos since but still in decent shape. Rooms are large, has a sitting area with fridge sink and microwave. They were fully booked when we were there and maids didn't fully clean the room, beds weren't the most comfortable, but breakfast was good.

I stayed at this Hotel during the "Piggy's Revenge" Mountain Bike event. Got a nice suite using my Best Western Rewards points, so I don't know what the actual price was. Probably the hotel nearby the event.

This was better than most Best Westerns where I've stayed. The rooms were less expensive than other hotels off this Interstate 75 exit in Venice, FL. But the rooms were much bigger. The breakfast was standard for this type of hotel. Security standards could be improved: our first floor window had a broken lock and no screen (there was a stick in the frame to prevent window from opening), and a group of suspicious characters was hanging out on a picnic table behind the property. Otherwise, we had no problems and would probably visit this property again.

We had not spent a night in a Best Western hotel in many years. But thanks to Trip Advisor we stayed in 2 locations in a row. This is a lovely property right off I 75. When I think about the typical BW hotel this Venice location has changed my whole image. The staff was very nice and the lobby & 1st impression when you pull in is upscale. I am reinstating my BW rewards membership again thanks to this hotel. Our only concern was the placement of the king bed too close to the window ventilation. We were in room 335 which seemed to be a different shape from the other king junior suites on that floor (end of the hall next to a staff room). It was hard walking next to the bed by the window but hopefully that is a problem with room 335 only. We will stay here again but look at the room before accepting it.

Very clean inside and out, personable staff, perfect location off the interstate. Although breakfast was free, the only improvement I would suggest is to increase the variety of items on the breakfast bar.

This trip was for a family get-together and this site was ideally located for us at I-75. the stay was an excellent experience excepting that the TV service is bare bones and a disappointment for such a class operation.Not even pay per view movies. This was a big disappointment to a developmentally disabled quest. We left early for this reason.

This BW in Venice FL is my goto hotel whenever I go to Venice! The room is HUGE, the hot breakfast is wonderful, the staff is excellent. Before staying here I thought that BW hotels were an average hotel, but I was wrong...you get a lotta bang for your buck!

Would not stay anywhere else when staying in the Venice, FL area. If anything, this hotel has gotten better over the years. I cannot say enough good things about it. If you want a suite near the Venice area, this is your hotel.

We enjoyed a very brief stay during the holiday season. The hotel was beautifully decorated and had a very cozy, seasonal feel, which include a large Christmas tree in the atrium, a manger upstairs in the mezzanine, foot soldiers guarding the dining room and other touches throughout -- very nicely decorated! Hotel has a lovely lounge area furnished with comfortable seating and a television, books, and floral decorations, making this a nice area to chat with friends or enjoy a cup of coffee (free in the lobby, as well as tea and hot chocolate!) There is a nice dining room for the breakfast buffet and casual use throughout the day. We are not fans of the typical hotel breakfast, however it was plentiful if you like that kind of thing: waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, and so on. The staff was very professional, helpful and pleasant. Our room was quiet with decent sound-proofing, uncommon for hotels in this price range. Though our room was near the elevator and the property itself is close to the highway, we hardly heard any cars or road noise at all. Enjoyed the cleanliness of the room, including the sanitary television remote controls. We were also glad they have chosen to do away with heavy (unhygienic) bedspreads and other bed coverings in favor a simple sheet plus a blanket, as this felt cleaner than usual hotel bedding. Various pillows were available for all levels of comfort. Excellent shower pressure and removable show head made for a wonderful shower. Convenient soap, shampoo, conditioner dispensers in the shower and bathroom vanity made for easy access and less waste. Convenient for our quick stay and we would very likely stay again. Recommend especially around Christmas if you enjoy pretty decorations.

This is an excellent Best Western hotel. The price was well worth the quality of our room and the service we received. I would be more than happy to stay there again. A breakfast was also included with the stay, and it was of very good quality.

Let me say that the service and reception was great and very nice. I appreciate that greatly. Stayed her last year and was lovely. This year was like it was run down. We even were in one of the same rooms as last year completely different, run down, chairs and tables almost breaking, wobbly, furniture old, no soap or shampoo in the bathroom at all, you could see dust, the two rooms we were in smelled musty. This is such a conveniently placed hotel and close to I75, gas, some restaurants so makes it nice. Just decided to leave early. BW have really been doing a great job lately and becoming a place you want to stay that isn't run down. In this case I would by pass it unless they pay attention to some up dating and housecleaning issues. Soap and shampoo are nice. And before anyone asks why didn't we ask for some...they have those pre-filled things and press on them once in the shower couldn't ask then...

Good choice, would return. Perfect location for our needs, just off 75. Nearby markets, shopping centers, and easy ride to restaurants. Nicer than we expected. Wish the 2 queens with couch had option for fold out bed to sleep 3 better.

This is a fairly new, very nice Hotel for business or leisure travelers. The only complain, that the carpet in the elevator needs to be changed, but otherwise a great stay. The very clean and nicely decorated rooms are Suites with Kitchenette and seating area. It is close to Venice Downtown and the Beaches as well as only 20 Minutes to Sarasota.

In spite of the fact that we booked our six-day stay 32 days in advance and the fact that we have been Gold Crown Club International members for many years, we were put on the noisiest side of the motel. Fortunately, the vehicular noise was blocked out by the racket from the air conditioner. The front desk staff was friendly but totally not helpful when it came to "local knowledge". Cynthia in the breakfast room was a cheerful start to our day!

We stayed the weekend for a funeral. The rooms and the establishment was clean. However there was a gas smell outside our room on the second floor. Informed the front desk and the cleaning staff but no one was able to isolate the problem. The breakfast included a full variety of options and quite satisfying. Advise to get there early.

Loved my stay here, staff was friendly, they got me a great end room so I was not disturbed during my extended stay. Will stay there a hundred times over when I'm in Florida. Breakfast was fabulous, first time I experienced such a nice variety each day

Not worth the money spend... The staff was very prejudice and not friendly especially Ron... Lazy and does nothing but pace back and forth... Rooms had a unpleasant order of old mole... Refrigerator uncleaned, air conditioning system ventilation was blowing old mildew, rugs stunk... Very unsatisfied especially when I was moved 2 other times... One room was as bad as the next... A waste of money, a total waste!!!

Good clean room, nice breakfast. They do have beach items to check out. Towels, umbrella, chairs and shell scoops. That was not mentioned at check in but learned about it feom another couple. Small but nice pool to relax by. Beach is not too long of a drive.

Nice hotel on the I-75. Big clean rooms, comfy beds. Breakfast could be more diverse, but ok. Short drive to the Venice and I-75. Friendly staff and big parking lot. Nice restaurant called Brewburgers just 100 m from hotel. They has nice burgers and some craft beers.

It is excellent hotel, with great service and located nearby I-75 and different restaurants and attractive beaches and areas. Nearby Venice beach. Quiet clean room and excellent breakfast and service. I recommend it for any one visiting West Florida

Excellent service from entry to departure. The rooms were clean and all the staff was pleasant and polite. We've stayed at this particular hotel three different times and have always enjoyed the experience. The last time was for 12 days.

My two sisters and I spent 7 nights in October at the Best Western Venice. We have family in the area and it was the first time we have all been together in Florida. Best Western Plus Ambassador Suites Venice more than provided us a home away from home. We had an awesome check in experience and after looking at the room we originally booked, we moved from two Queen beds to a single King with a pull out sofa. That allowed all three of us to share the room comfortably. That was done with a smile on the part of the desk person. We decided to use the included buffet as our breakfast and were happy with the presentation. Every day the egg and meat offering was different. Make your own pancakes and waffles from two different flavors of batter. All types of bread, bagels, english muffin and so on with your choice of topping. French toast, peppers and onions, bisquits and gravy, fresh yogurt , fruit and excellent coffee 24 hours a day. We used their pool which is salt water and it was very clean and refreshing. The whole property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and very clean. We recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for a few days. It's easy access from highway 75. Our room was nice and clean. It had all hardwood floors and tile so it really displayed its cleanliness. And it was quite. The desk clerk was very nice to deal with. Prices were reasonable. Breakfast was complementary with the typical foods this type of hotel offers. I did have a couple of issues. The "kitchenette" area was so small it was a joke. It had a sink, microwave, mini fridge, a coffee maker and a small cabinet all crammed into a 3 foot area. Another issue I had was that the bed was too firm for me and made a sound when you tossed and turned due to the mattress cover. The room also jad a cycling A/C that woke me at times.

Could not get logged into my login to make the reservation. Called and made the reservations on the telephone. Go figure! The lady was nice and helpful. On arrival to Best Western, the check-in lady was very helpful. Was even able to check in early. The room was acceptable. My opinion the room was not set up right. Should have a TV in the sitting area. Bathroom was alright. Breakfast was good. Very clean breakfast area.

Spent 3 nights in dbl queen just after hurricane Irma. Clean updated room well serviced. Quiet room above well maintained outdoor pool; not on highway side. Tasty and well presented breakfast. Friendly staff. Only criticism is about rates. Do your homework online before walking in and get written rate information. Intentional or not, room change and rate confusion was definitely to my advantage; AAA card or not.

Everything we needed at a reasonable price. Visited the rookery nearby and clerk was very helpful with directions. Overnite stay on the way to Sanibel Island from Greenville, SC. Would stay here again and that's about as good a review as you need.

Venice Best Western beats Holiday Inn Express in Richmond Virginia I would highly recommend this motel as the best place I have stayed in my recent 4,000 mile road trip from Maine to Florida. I drove through New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, and Georgia. Best Western in Venice was far superior to the 10 places I stayed in the last two weeks of August 2017...

The room was very clean,comfortable, and well appointed. The breakfast was much better than the typical "continental breakfast", which added to the value of our visit. We were pleasantly surprised with the wood flooring rather than carpeting. It was also nice that there were plenty of easily accessible electrical outlets for charging our devices.

Very clean! Keith, head of building and maintenance team are constantly keeping things clean and orderly. Janelle at front desk is one of the nicest people I've ever talked to. Jodi does a great job and very personable in house keeping. Stayed here 6 nights and I'm very picky. Bed was a little uncomfortable for me. Breakfast good but, standard has more choices. Very quiet, pool is great, salt water. Water pressure ok. Owners of this place should be very proud of their team.

I conducted work in the nearby area. This hotel was roomy, offered suites, was easy to access and exit, near local eateries, and right off I-75, but far enough away to avoid road noise. The local burger joint located 100 yards down the road was outstanding!

We loved the three days we had. We visited the area. Spent time at the hotel pool and exercise room. The breakfast every morning was delicious. Especially the biscuits and gravy. \\We will be back for sure.

Staff is very friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Great room for a larger family for the price. We have stayed there for over 4 years and never have had an issue of any kind. Close to all the shops and beaches in Venice Beach.

The staff were very helpful with both check-in and check-out. The room more spacious than I thought. Overall, a great room at a reasonable rate. The only item was the WiFi, it was a bit slow, but with the amount of users on their network, that was to be expected.

Great price and facility. For the price range you won't find a better deal. Clean, great staff, and good breakfast. Exactly what you expect and more for this style of hotel. Rooms were large with microwave and fridge. Hotel had beach chairs and beach towels to loan out. If you just looking for a clean, comfortable and reasonably price place to stay then this is it. We were able to hit the Publix a block down the road to grab food for lunch while eating breakfast at the hotel - this left our only meal expense for dinner. Highly recommend.

The hotel was really nice for the price...I went through Priceline and spent less than 400 for a Monday-Thursday timeframe. It is convenient to local attractions, including the beach, and restaurants. I was really taken by the hotel's accommodations and mosat of the staff. Bethany was a pleasure. They did have a glitch in changing my towels on Day 1, but they corrected the error on Day2; it didn't happen again. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here four different times- with two of those stays lasting about a week. Our most recent stay was a couple of weeks ago. This hotel has a lot going for it. Exceptional housekeeping, friendly and helpful staff, and large well appointed rooms. The beds are comfortable, shower pressure is excellent, and the TV selection is quite good compared with other hotels at this price point. The complimentary breakfast is quite good as well. You cannot go wrong booking a stay here- as a matter of fact, we will be staying here again at the end of August. One of the best hotels for the money that I have stayed at- and my wife and I travel quite extensively so that is saying a lot.

Check-in service was excellent, king-size room was spacious and clean, the free breakfast was good offering a variety of hot and cold selections, the lobby was very nice, and rate was good through AAA Auto Club.

We had booked an accessible suite. It was spacious, had comfortable beds, a nice kitchenette and beautiful wood-like flooring, The staff was extremely caring and helpful. The free breakfast was very good, Coffee and tea were always available in the lobby, The pool was clean and well kept!

This hotel made our large group of family members in town for a large family function feel very welcome! The rooms were comfortable, the staff was extremely helpful suggesting dining options and places of interest in the area.As we hadn't seen each other in a long time, we tended to take over the large lobby and adjacent rooms. The staff always made us feel comfortable in those gatherings, never complaining of the jovial noise we created, almost as if they were part of our large family!

We just wanted to break the cycle for a couple of days and stay at a hotel as if we were on a vacation.. but with a new business close by we are not able to so we just wanted to be around that feel of people traveling. The rooms were like many of the photos on the web. the other reviews are pretty accurate its clean the quality of breakfast food was good.. could use and item or two more..(was hungry for a pastry but while we were there (2 day staycation). great location.

Room has always been great & have seen changes made at his hotel through the last few years & always good. Some gront desk ladies have now retired but got to know them a little due to coming to this hotel for awhile. Beach is great & shopping also.

We were able to get rooms with very short notice when traveling for a family funeral. The staff was pleasant and were very helpful in putting us in rooms that were close together. They were also helpful in suggesting possible rooms to keep expenses down. Breakfast was hot and fresh on both morning we stayed. We have stayed at this hotel before and would highly recommend it.

We have been a returning guest at the Best Western Venice, FL. for the last 7 years plus. I cannot say that we have ever had a bad stay. The staff here has always made us feel like a part of the Best Western family, very friendly. The hotel has been updated. It is clean, breakfast is good and it is close to the beaches and to downtown Venice. A favorite of ours.

Decided to take a 3-day vacation on the Gulf of Mexico and booked Best Western Plus Ambasdador Suites on Venice, Fl. We absolutely love Venice and surrounding area and have spent many a vacation there but had never chosen BWPAS! No, it wasn't on the beach but their hospitality was so far superior to any other hotel in the area we had booked on prior vacations. Our room was immaculate and had every amenity possible. We had the most spectacular 3 days. We will most definitely try to book BWPAS first for our next trip to Venice, Fl.

Hotel was nice and clean. Employees were kind and met all our needs. The hotel was only 15 minutes from Venice Beach. The rooms were spacious with a mini kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and sink. Plenty of storage for staying for a longer period of time.

We had a wonderful time! This hotel was super nice. The value was excellent. We loved the room. We enjoyed the daily cookies. Also it was so convenient to get complimentary umbrella and beach towels for the daily trip to the beach.

For the price I paid, I could never imagine the room being as large and clean as it was. My room had 2 beds, a sofa, a desk, a table and chairs and a wet bar with mini fridge and microwave. I forgot to mention for 4 grown men on work to be able to sit down and enjoy breakfast is a plus, but this isn't your typical continental breakfast service. This is by far the best and largest breakfast service i've ever seen. I stayed for the week and will be returning next week as well. I hope to be able to book with this location again because you can't get this much anywhere else unless you want to open the check book.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel staff were very nice and very helpful. The breakfast was very good. The bacon on the bar was just like I like it and the link sausage the next morning were also very good. The room was a good size. Once I finally got the temperature set comfortably, it was really nice. The pool was a smaller one but my daughter enjoyed it. The fitness room was also small but it had enough equipment for me and I really enjoyed the weight machine. I had a great time and I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for nights for vacation and visiting relatives. Very professional and friendly staff. The room was large and perfect for a couple or family. It was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus soap. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, sink, ironing board and iron, extra pillows and blankets. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet at night. Breakfast was very good. They had a large variety of food to choose from. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, pancakes, waffles, assortment of breads, muffins, donuts, fresh fruit and yogurt. The location is perfect, right off 75. We would definitely stay again.

This hotel was very well maintained. The Queen Suite that we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave and a sitting room with table/chairs/sofa. The hot breakfast every morning was fantastic! The daily chocolate chip cookies at the front desk was a very nice treat. The hotel is located near gas stations, restaurants, stores and beaches. Perfect location!

All the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They offered us beach toys for the kids and a sifter to look for shark teeth. The room was really big only downside bathroom area kind of small and the hallways had a little bit of an odor but not enough to knock my rating down. The pool was great as well as the continental breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.

This Best Western was above average. The rooms were large and well appointed. The lobby and breakfast area was very neat and clean. My only complaint was with the bed pillows. Lots of them but they were small very soft and lumpy. There were many families there and the kids seemed to be enjoying the pool.

The room was wonderful. The staff and service was great. I will return here when I visit again. I did not have the opportunity to use the pool but it looked clean. Breakfast was good and spread out so you were not crowded.

I have stayed at Best Westerns the price is great the accommodations are excellent. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The afternoon cookies are a nice treat. They place their facility close to great restaurants and easy access to transportation.

The room was modern with hard wood floors, new furniture, kitchen with refrigerator and microwave. Ice on every hallway. Bed was super comfortable. Big tv and very clean. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was awesome! we will definitely come back again when in area.

Totally dissatisfied with the fact that I stayed 4 nights and 2 days in a row my room was NOT cleaned. The manager was not amenable to offering much of a rebate. I go away and expect my room to be cleaned and it was not.

This is a very clean and extra nice hotel. Great location to visit the sites and beaches in Venice. The rooms are nice, large, very clean, and furnished great. The fitness center, pool and breakfast were very nice. We're planning on going back to this location again.

I stayed 4 nights at this Best Western while visiting relatives in Venice. It was also very convenient for side trips to Sarasota and Fort Myers and only a few hours drive from Tampa Airport. The room was well-appointed and clean, comfortable and quiet. I thought the rates were very reasonable, too.

We were in town for my daughter's graduation and chose to stay at the BW. We have been here before and it has always been a good place to stay. They have a good breakfast available. The rooms and nice and comfortable. It is a good location to visit places in the area including Sarasota, Venice and Port Charlotte.

I stayed at the Best Western Ambassador Inns and Suites in Venice and it is absolutely the BEST. Great appearance, clean, wonderful staff, and well run. The area has everything you could ever want. The beaches are the best ever.

This was our fist stay in a Best Western Plus and we weren't disappointed. The breakfast was standard hotel fare plus extras like whipped cream and other toppings for your pancakes, a nicer seating area and more juice options. The bed was wonderful! We only stayed one night passing through on our way to another destination, but I would definitely stay here again.

Driving up to the hotel showed me that I was going to be a very good stay. The breakfast was well presented the room was clean and well appointed and larger than expected. The staff was very accommodating and both at check-in and checkout and they were very helpful when we needed to use the computer in the loft I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip to Venice

My husband and I stayed here two nights. This is my second stay at this hotel. It is a convenient location to I-75 and has nearby places to eat as well as shop for groceries to place in the in- room refrigerator. You can also get to downtown Venice in about 15 minutes. Our room was very clean, a generous size and well equipped. There is even a mounted magnifying mirror in the bathroom. A second counter with a mirror outside the bathroom makes doing hair and makeup easy while someone else showers. Breakfast was adequate with eggs, bacon or sausage, cereals, waffles and pancakes. There were numerous condiments and a choice of breads. There was fresh fruit available also. Coffee is available 24x7. I highly recommend this hotel and am sure I will be staying here again.

This was the first time we stayed at this hotel. Would go back in a heart beat everything was excellent. The staff and service were very happy, helpful and attentive. The rooms were spacious and clean.

My family and I (including children 9 and 14) stayed 1 night at this hotel on a 2 week tour of Florida. This hotel is just a few miles from the main Venice area and was perfect for a stopover. In particular the lobby reception staff were superb and very helpful, specifically they showed us how to get to the Venice beach to collect shark teeth fossils, lent us the Florida 'snow shovels' to collect the shark teeth along with 4 beach towels and allowed a later check out all at no extra cost. As other reviews have commented the free buffet breakfast was very good. Superb service and we will be using more Best Western hotels in the future.

We will stay at this hotel next time we're in the area. Best free breakfast buffet ever. Attentive and professional staff; very comfortable room. Although close to I75, didn't really notice the traffic noise.

Well located hotel within easy reach of Venice town which is lovely. Walkable restaurants close by. Pity the outside space with the pool is in the front car park, not very inviting. Our room was clean and adequate. We stayed three nights and not once was the elevator floor cleaned, off putting !! Being British we weren't at all impressed with the breakfast offering. Paper plates, cups, and plastic cutlery ? No thanks. Good to have an all day coffee machine though. All in all an average Hotel, but pricey for the standard.

Went there to stay on way home from Fl to see a friend whose wife had just passed. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable but the A/C was so next to the bed that every time it turned on it woke us up. Needless to say it wasn't the best place for a good nights sleep

Very good motel close to most everything in this area of Southwest Florida. I have stayed at this facility at times over the last few years and it is consistently very good and probably the best in the area, and with reasonable rates.

First of all, let me say that the customer service was great! My iPhone battery was very low and I forgot my charger and I mentioned it to Ron, the front desk person, and he immediately produced one from the office for me to use. We happily returned it after 2 hours. The King bed was comfortable.The room was spacious...bathroom counters were granite...kitchenette in our room. Large, flat screen TV, 6 pillows...complimentary full breakfast...scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, oatmeal. We will definitely be back!

Relatively modern, clean as a whistle, big chain hotel that delivers what one would hope for. Check in was efficient with a change of room handled by a most accommodating front desk welcoming person. The suite was quiet and quite comfortable. The breakfast buffets were also quite good with a variety of eggs, bacon, juices and so forth. The breakfast attendant was ever present and did a nice job making sure that the offerings were fresh and the area was cleaned up often.

9am and breakfast was missing many items and not efficient set up. Breakfast is from 6:30-9:30 not until 9am and let items run out and start cleaning. Out of several bread/bagel/pastry items. Out of Cream cheese.

We took a suite at the Hotel with a spa bath for 2 nights. Rooms are large and quite well furnished. King Bed is comfortable, TV's in both rooms, with 2 settees, and small table and chairs. Bedroom a little on the small size, but living area has plenty of room. Spa bath has shower over tub and is a little small for 2 people. Jets are also not very strong. Room is on ground floor, presumably because of spa bath. Hotel is beside main road, so can be a little noisy, but not too bad. Front desk was pleasant and efficient. Pool outside is nice with plenty of room around. Hotel is off the main road but a little difficult to locate to start with. Is not cheap, but it was Spring Break in Florida, so may be cheaper out of season. Breakfast was reasonable but basic buffet style. All in all quite a nice hotel but perhaps a little expensive for what you get.

We stayed here for a few nights in May 2016 as we wanted to spend some time around Venice Beach/Siesta Key. The hotel is conveniently located - just off a main road and there is a gas station, McDonalds and a couple of other food places just outside. There is also a Publix a few minutes drive up the road. It's about a 10 minute drive to Venice Beach and about 25 minutes to Siesta Key. The room was massive and clean, and there was a fridge and microwave which was useful. The bed was also really comfortable. We had breakfast at the hotel each morning and there was a great selection of different options. They also have fresh cookies at reception around 6pm each night. Most people tend to stay at this hotel and head to the beach. We opted to stay by the pool for quite a few mornings and we had practically had it to ourselves until later on in the afternoon. The pool area is small and backs onto the car park area but was fine for the purposes of our stay. We used the fitness room during the stay which was decent - there are a couple of treadmills, a bike and cross trainer. There is also a laundry room which we used. Overall this hotel was a great base for visiting the local beaches and we would definitely stay again if we are to return to the area!

I love this hotel. The decorations are great and the staff is even better! Rick at the front desk is absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was good and the lady is delightful and keeps everything well stocked.

First, I traveled a lot in Florida for 5+ years and never stayed in the hotel which has lower than 90% rating. Staff was very kind. Room was spacious, clean and had lots of outlet. I had 2 camera, 2 phones and 1 laptop. Toilet was clean and not clogged(very unique). Hotel is not luxurious but room looks like remodeled. Do not need to be disappointed by not-fancy elevator. Breakfast was fine. Cannot be top notch but good enough. Not far from Siesta key. Room has door inside of the building so this is more secured than other hotels in Sarasota (usually has doors to outside). I will stay again if I go Siesta key again.

Great hotel with friendly staff. When we checked-in, Ashley from the front desk went above and beyond and was very pleasant and helpful. If we come back we will definitely stay here. Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable and the location was convenient.

Room was ok. Tv was small. Not a fancy place just ok. Pool was average. Great breakfast and breakfast crew. Very accommodating ! With today's technology, ice buckets should keep is for more than a couple hours.

Great location right off of the highway. Upon Checking in I found the hotel to be very clean and the staff was very polite and informative. I wish I could have stayed longer to take advantage of the pool which looked very inviting. I would stay again if the situation called for it.

We were on the East Coast of Florida when the governor announced this storm will kill you. We made reservations at the Ambassador Suites having no prior knowledge of the area and lucked out. The hotel is located just off I-75 and only a few miles from downtown Venice and the Gulf of Mexico beaches. Parking is free and the building in appearance and cleanliness was great. The pool in front of the hotel is small but clean and refreshing. Janet at the front desk and staff were friendly, professional and helpful. It was suggested that we stay on the third floor since no one would be on top of us and we got room #314. The room was spacious with a love seat, two queen beds easy chair and table with chair. There were a microwave, refrigerator and small sink. The shower had good temperature with adequate pressure. The queen bed close to the window is close to the HVAC unit and makes it hard to get into the bed by the wall. I found the beds hard but the room was very quiet even in a sold-out market. The breakfast bar is a step above with cinnamon bites, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, cereal, fruit cups, waffles, and pancakes. Selection of juice or soda's. We would stay there again if in the area.

Excellent Hotel! our room had been changed from carpets to wood flooring and loved it! so much cleaner! The staff was very professional, and helpful. Right next to the freeway so traveling was made easier. The Cracker Barrel Restaurant was in walking distance. The food excellent! There were other types of eateries but we liked The CB.

Very comfortable hotel with some newly renovated rooms. Our team had to leave the hotel early, before breakfast normally is served, but they had everything available to us. Great service and a good nights sleep.

This motel has en excellent location being just of the I 75 and within 3 miles of the gulf beaches. There are plenty of good restaurants close by and and other interesting areas up and down the west coast can be reached in an hour. The rooms are well decorated and the overall condition of the motel facilities are excellent

This is one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed at and we have stayed at many across this country. Hotel staff were great, the cleanliness and appearance of the building was top notch. The room was spacious, clean, bed was comfortable and I loved the fact it had laminate floors (no rugs!!). The location was great for what we wanted, just a short ride to the beach. We would definetely recommend this hotel!

We typically pass over the Best Western Hotels due to their age and lack of 2 queen beds in a room. This hotel, two queen bed suite was EXCELLENT. It really did compare to the other hotels we would have selected. Because we lost our Mother during the Labor Day weekend, we had slim pickings, but BEST WESTERN PREMIUM SUITES really did suprise. We are so THANKFUL and ready to change our future choice to the BEST WESTERN Ambassador Suites.

The rooms were nice and comfy. Our only problems concerned the shower curtain (it wouldn't stay closed-- the rod was bent and I couldn't shower and hold the curtain closed the entire time I was trying to lather up). Secondly, the dispensers for shower gel and the soap was empty or too low to dispense. Other than that, it was a nice facility. Breakfast was hot and good.

TV remote in room lacked battery. Phone set in room did not work. Jack-hammering in the lobby in the morning, without prior notice from hotel that it would be occurring, notice that would have given the consumer the opportunity to change the reservation.

I have stayed at this hotel on our vacations yearly for the last 7 years. It has NEVER been a disappointment. The hotel has been renovated in the last year and looks nice. The rooms are clean, the lobby is updated, the pool is always welcoming, the breakfast they offer is very generous, no problems with the internet and the staff is amazing! When I walk through the Best Western/Venice doors, there is always a pleasant person there to greet me. Because I have stayed at this location numerous times, the staff has gotten to know me and my family and make us feel like a part of the BW/Venice family. Feels like a 2nd home. I highly recommend this location!!

I was very happy with both the hotel and the staff. I traveled the entire state and had a lot of windshield time. Upon my arrival they gave me a room I was comfortable in. Check in was easy as well as the check out process.

I got last minute reservations for two nights after first stopping at another nearby hotel where I had reservations and deciding not to stay there. The rate was much less than the hotel that I had reserved. The room was a suite with a microwave, refrigerator and small coffee maker. It also included a buffet breakfast. Everything was very clean and updated. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and even recommended a great burger place nearby. Our room was comfortable and quiet. It had a large flat screen TV and a nice sitting area separate from the beds. All this for under $100 ! Thank you to all the staff who were so kind and helpful.

I thought I was at the wrong hotel! The service was above and beyond..the amenities...perfect. Location to Venice...close. The bed? The best!!! I love the variety of pillow types. Super clean. Will definitely stay again.

Hands down, I always choose this hotel to stay when I come to Venice. At the end of a long day, I feel like I am walking in to my home when I come here. The place is always clean, from the outside, lobby, hallways, rooms. The front desk staff is friendly and approachable. The breakfast in the morning is quite a spread and plenty of seating area. We had a suite with a King bed and 2 sofa sleepers. I would highly recommend paying a little more for this suite as the bed is in a separate room. The bathroom is VERY large and nice fridge and sink and a table to sit and eat. The water pressure is great. The pool is a bit on the small side, so if that's your main source of entertainment for your kids, you might be disappointed. There's also some restaurants within walking distance and the location is GREAT! I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

It was a last minute decision to stay in Venice on a Saturday night the price was good the room was very large had 2 double beds and a small couch. The bathroom was very roomy and the shower was great. The front desk was very helpful suggesting restaurants in the area that specialized in seafood. The breakfast that the hotel provided the next morning at no additional charge was good. If I am ever in Venice again this is the hotel I will stay at.

I rented the suite w/King bed and 2 sleeper sofas. It was a very nice room. Hotel very clean, great staff. Nice breakfast. Issue with water pressure and water temperature. Dispensers for body gel were not filled. Which is not a problem if you realize before you start showering.

The staff, and hotel exceeded my family's expectations. The hotel was clean, and staff was friendly and helpful. The beach with "the whitest sand in the world" amazed us, especially we come from an area with only swamps and lakes. The staff was helpful, and even allowed our whole family to eat our dinner in the lobby area. Everything was clean, and sanitary. It makes you feel right at home. We will return!

Beautiful hotel right off of I-75 just outside all of the hustle and bustle of the Venice Beach area. The beach is a short 10 min drive away or you can get to Manasota Key or Siesta Key in about 25 min. The hotel staff is very friendly and the complementary breakfast is great. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Rest assured you will not be disappointed!

Clean comfortable stay! Stayed here with two teenage boys for an evening before shark tooth hunting at the beach. Room had a sitting area/kitchenette separated by a short half wall with two queen beds...very nice and spacious. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Clean and spacious. Wooden floors were a definite plus. Got a great nights sleep. Beds a bit firm but that is my preference. Ten minute drive to beach and shopping. Walked to burger joint next door which was very convenient. Complimentary breakfast was good.

Let me count the ways. Complimentary hot breakfast, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, pancakes, waffles and bagels plus. Love the coffee machine. One unit six different choices of coffee 24 hrs, WiFi, Large, clean comfortable rooms. We had 2 queen beds for 2 adults and 2 children(13yrs). Easy access off highway 75 and 15 minutes to the beach. The hotel has one elevator but with only three floors had not problems with wait time. Staff very friendly and up to date on questions about Venice. It was nice to see that the that those using the complimentary brkfst showed their appreciation for the hard work preparing it by leaving tips. We vacation in Venice every year and stay here and it seems that each year they outdo the previous years service. Tks for helping us for making our vacation complete. liz

I have tried to contact the General Manager of this hotel via phone, email and facebook prior to writing this review and received no reply. My brother stayed at this hotel in June and I purchased gifts to put in my his room for him and his family to welcome them to Florida and to really make their trip special. I arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon and asked the front desk if I could put the gifts in his room. After giving them all of my information as well as his reservation information, the gave me the key to his room. I put the champagne on ice so it would be chilled upon their arrival after a long travel day. I also left them two engraved wine glasses, a bottle of wine, shirts, hats, bottled water and Perrier. After I picked them up from the airport, we checked into the hotel and I walked them to their room. The gift display was not there! I was so disappointed. I spent a week buying their favorite items and Venice-specific clothes and was so excited to see their reaction. Instead of enjoying a glass of champagne with them, my brother and I had to go back to the front desk to find out what happened. When I told the woman at the front desk that they had given me a key earlier in the day to place the gifts in -- she simply said it looks like someone else had checked into that room--sorry, there is nothing I can do about it now. After some back and forth, I could see she was not going to budge so I left very disappointed -- especially knowing that the expensive bottle of champagne I had purchased and chilled would be warm by the morning. I returned the next day (another 25 minute drive) to straighten the situation out. It was now 9am and the new front desk person said there was nothing she could do until the people checked out! I do not understand when she could not just call the room and ask for the gifts. She refused and said to come back again later! I returned a third time late Saturday afternoon and was told my gifts have been located and placed in the right room. We went up to the room and the items were there. The surprise was over -- my brother had now witnessed the three discussions with the front desk. The gifts were not displayed as I had arrange them. The champagne was warm was undrinkable. We had plans for the remainder of the visit so they didn't have time to drink the wine and since our beach day was over they didn't get to wear the shirts and hats. I am very disappointed in the customer service and feel that my gifts were wasted.

Whenever we are in the Venice, Florida area, we always stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located and a nice quiet place to stay. Staff is great! The hotel is clean and price is reasonable. Our last stay was at Christmas time in 2015. The hotel decorations were fabulous! It put us in a cheerful holiday mood! We like their little library. It's nice to be able to choose a book to read. In fact, we brought a box of books to share on this trip.

My wife and I, both Best Western Employees, arranged a trip for our extended family from PA to visit Florida. While not every Best Western Hotel met our expectations during our trip, this one far exceeded them. From a clean room, to outstanding staff and service, to a wonderful hot breakfast each morning, and a great pool for our family to enjoy, this hotel had everything that we were looking for. We used the hotel as a base to explore the beautiful beaches and attractions that the Gulf Coast has to offer. During our stay, I had an emergency that required my attention at the hotel that I manage in PA. Their staff was kind enough to accommodate my needs, help me to connect and enabled me to solve my issues. It was way above and beyond any service that I would expect. We are picky about where we stay, and we do not offer false praise. This hotel was outstanding in every way, and extremely well run. When we return to the area in a few years we will make it a priority to return to this hotel!

We traveled as a family of 10 last week to this hotel. Our 3 rooms were located nearby each other, and were clean and quiet! Ashley at the front desk was a pleasure! She checked us in, and went out of her way to see how our stay was going during our trip. Manager Rich was kind enough to let my husband use his office to take care of a work emergency, and everyone was more than accommodating and welcoming! I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Siesta Key area! It was the perfect spot for our family to spend some time at the beach! Also- be sure to try BrewBurgers located right next door- their food was AMAZING! (Great front desk recommendation!)

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel (we stayed 3 nights). It is well maintained and there is obliviously good management. The front desk was very friendly. The housekeeping did an excellent job even taking time to perch my daughter's stuffed animals on top the pillows. The breakfast attendants were constantly making sure the food was hot and well stocked. The breakfast bar had plenty to choose from, including pancakes, waffles, eggs,bacon, bagels, yogurt, cereal and more. This is a great hotel!

Enjoyed everything at this hotel. Great breakfast with fresh fruit and yogurt, as well hot breakfast items to choose from. Also a very nice pool. Courteous and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Close to Venice beaches and restaurants.

The house keeping was great. The location was fine. The complimentary breakfast was inedible! The eggs were watery and uninteresting. The juices were not fresh. The bacon was limp, not crispy. The sausage was not browned. All of the food was of poor quality.

Considering I made the mistake of booking my stay for the wrong date I was easily accomodated. very staff member I encountered was polite, professional and friendly. The hotel itself was impeccable both inside the very spacious rooms and the grounds & parking lot were clean and well lit.

Such a better choice than the Hol Inn Express which is so damp and run down. Best Western is roomier and cleaner by far and convenient location too. I will stay here again and I will recommend this hotel to others! Keep up the quality for repeat visitors. thank you

This was our third time at the Ambassador Suites property and we will be back. The thing is, it's not close to the beach, but we're not beach people. When we stay here, we go to Casey Key for the beach scene, which is a bit of a drive from Venice anyway. The rooms are very large, everything works well. The breakfast looked good, although we didn't partake. But the coffee (a requirement for us) was excellent. Staff is very helpful and efficient. It is obvious that this property is managed by people who really care about excellence and service. We are also participants in BW's rewards program. In addition, this property gives a 20% discount for returning guests: that's a big help on the rate.

I have stayed here a number of times and go back when I go to Venice to search for sharks teeth. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast options were good. I will look forward to coming back, again.

Very quiet hotel in quiet area- hotel appears to be brand new- we had a large room, extremely clean, beds were exceptionally comfortable- slept like a log! Breakfast was also very good and they have a nice pool. Staff was professional....Would highly recommend!

Stayed at the Venice BW in both 2015 and 2016 for the beach. Accommodations are very good and location is convenient to the beach and restaurants. Staff at the Venice BW are always friendly, courteous and professional. The staff is very responsive to questions or issues. I definitely recommend this BW for stay in the Venice area. Hotel is near I75 but rooms are very quiet with NO road noise.

nice and clean, the rooms are very spacious and clean. excellent location to stay at , off the interstate and only 5 minutes from my dive charter location. breakfast looked good, but they started service too late 630 in the am , but they did let me get some things before they opened. The only things i didn't like, pillows, were really really small and very hard to sleep on. no room safe and they had cheap soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers instead of actual bars and bottles of soap, and bar is i like better then the liquid. friendliness of the staff was great.

This hotel is perfect for a stay on the Gulf Coast. Just off the highway and only about 3 miles from the centre of Venice, and good choice of restaurants in the town. After spending almost 2 weeks in Orlando this is an area I would recommend for a few days as a wind down.

Stayed 3 nights and it was perfect. A beautiful room/suite, excellent breakfast lovely warm pool and really easy to get to the beach and fabulous town of Venice. Can't wait to go back. There is a fabulous cafe bakery on the Main Street through Venice town which serves afternoon tea cakes sandwiches etc totally wonderful.

Very nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and excellent free breakfast offered. I have stayed here before and the staff is always extremely nice and very helpful. They offer allergy free wrong which the only differences a humidifier and wooden floors.

Accommodations were clean, well kept and the bed was super. Staff was professional and competent. Breakfast was nicely prepared and is varied enough so that everyone should find something to enjoy. Overall an excellent stay.

Over all experience was just wonderful. The staff were very helpful and nice in every way. The breakfast was the best that we had ever had staying at a free breakfast hotel. Rooms were very clean and a nice size. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel was wonderful. The rooms were large and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean inside and out. I would stay here again for sure. The free breakfast in the morning was excellent they had hot and cold food. The food was fresh and hot. They also kept the pans full of food through out the duration of the breakfast hours

We stayed here because it was near our relatives we wanted to visit. The TA reviews were positive and we were pleased with our stay overall. Check in was a little formal, most place the front desk is very friendly, I found this one to be pretty formal not much Southern hospitality. The room was nice and clean and more than large enough. Plenty of hot water for the shower, housekeeping people were quick with a hello and a smile. Breakfast was adequate but compared to most free breakfasts offered by the other chains this one fell short of equaling them. My biggest complaint was the TV, I know I am on vacation so it shouldn't be a concern but I was disappointed that the TV only had analog TV channels, I thought everyone had digital channels now, TV picture was not as sharp, a minor problem, but I do like my TV reception to be clearer.

Hotel lobby and common areas are just beautiful. Rooms are very spacious and include a mini-fridge and a microwave. Rooms are very clean and bedding and pillows are heavenly! Breakfast is included and it's not just a continental breakfast. We had eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. Staff is constantly replenishing food & supplies. Coffee & tea 24/7 plus snacks and drinks for sale al day/night. We did not have time to check out the pool or fitness areas. Close to I-75.

We chose to stay here on our yearly visit to Florida. It's a very nice property, well maintained. The rooms are spacious and include a couch. The breakfast bar is good although it gets very crowded some mornings. (we had to eat in our room one day) The beach is a mere 10-15 minute drive depending on traffic, and the hotel will loan you almost anything you would need for the beach(chairs, beach towels, shovels, scoopers). We hope to visit again!

My wife and I stayed at the Best Wester Plus because the Holiday Inn Express did not have any hot water. The hotel room and all services were great. This was our first stay at a BW Plus, but we discovered that another Plus was not so nice.

This hotel has it all. We got a king bed and the room was very large and roomy. It was very clean and so many features in the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable.They thought of everything and I would say it was an excellent value. I wish they all were so good!

We were traveling and decided to stay here over nigh at the last minute - in the evening. The motel was a nice surprise. When calling to book, I always ask how long it has been since the motel has been renovated - how fresh does it look. The lady at the front desk said that it was fairly old but that most guests thought it was new. They constantly keep it fresh. I was a little suspect. But she was so right. It is fresh, clean and modern looking. It is a notch above many. The little contact I had with staff - they were all friendly, professional and helpful It's a nice place. You'll like it.

We were very happy with the accommodations. I would recommend Best Western any time. We booked this not knowing how far we were from Sarasota where we met up with the Softball Tournament held this weekend. The location right off the highway was perfect. The Staff gave us a great place to walk around and have a bite to eat and a little bit of shopping. (Venice Downtown District)

Nice room although first room smelled musty. Second was not as nice and had carpet. Spacious. Near interstate and there were a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Internet poor in room. Pool area nice.

Spent a week at this hotel. Service was excellent. Rooms were immaculate. Breakfast area always clean and food full. Pool was heated and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. They are environmentally friendly. Had self serve laundry with 2 washers and dryers. Has shop for snacks and drinks.

We had to make a quick trip for house hunting to the area and coming to Venice during the season is asking for price gouging. That's what we had to contend with. We used points for one night and paid through the nose for the other. Our room was spacious and clean. However, the desk chair, opposite the bed, took up so much space that it was almost impossible to get around it in the middle of the night. I crashed into it the first night. There was a couch and a small table and chairs in the room which was nice. Breakfast wasn't anything outstanding--the eggs were preformed and pretty tasteless, sausage was good. Not much in the sweet roll department. If you are looking to go to the beach, this is quite far from Venice Beach--probably at least a 15 minute drive. There was a brewpub near by but we didn't try that. The large majority of Venice restaurants are at least 10 minutes away.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The room was clean, very spacious and nicely appointed. Breakfast was included which was nice. We would definitely stay here again, and I would highly recommended the hotel to others.

Very nice hotel. Clean, spacious rooms and excellent staff and service. You cannot go wrong at this hotel. The service was excellent. They even opened up the breakfast buffet a half-hour early so we could eat before our son's soccer tournament. Food was hot and delicious.

Stayed three nights at this hotel. First time in a Best Western PLUS. It was very clean and new. Breakfast was good, typical hotel free food. Wi-Fi was ok, not the best. Easy drive to restaurants, shopping and beaches. Would stay here again.

When in the Venice area this is our hotel of choice. The staff is courteous and efficient, and the building is extremely well maintained. The pool is clean and just the right temperature. The hotel is quiet and is easily accessible from the I-75 and the Tamiami Trail. We look forward to our next visit.

You can't go wrong staying at this hotel. The staff make you feel welcome the minute you walk through the door. Rooms are very comfortable with refrigerator, microwave and even a safe. You also have a small wet bar. The pool area is nice and n March with the warm weather the pool was great. It's close to many restaurants and very close to USF. The breakfast is great. Plenty to choose from to satisfy everyone. You won't be disappointed staying at this hotel.

It was like home away from home. Staff were extremely friendly and go out of their way to please. Families can enjoy a warm breakfast in or out by the pool. After all leaving CT in the cold to the warm sun and warm breakfast by the pool with the swaying palm trees it felt like paradise.

I always return to this hotel because if we are going to the Venice area, you can count on good customer service and clean efficient staff. Price is always within my budget and myself and friends go away hoping we can come back.

I had never stayed at a Best Western before, therefore did not know what to expect. The service was excellent and the staff could not have been more accommodating. I only wish the hotel had been closer to the beach.

The accommodations were as good as it gets. We enjoyed a responsive staff, delicious breakfast, and good internet reception. We found the price lower than where we had been staying. The location was very accessible to golf, restaurants, beaches, and to our friends. We visit the area yearly and plan to make the Best Western Plus Ambassador Suites Venice our regular "home".

We were pleasantly surprised to find the Best Western Plus Ambassador suites in Venice FL. A bit pricey for retirement but based on the market in the area, a very good value. You won't be disappointed here. Great Breakfast included.

When I travel I choose hotels whose reward points do not expire, Best Western being one of two. I will say this was the best, Best Western we have ever stayed in. It seems so many I have stayed in are older & dark. I don't believe this was a new hotel, however the lobby was beautifully decorated & the rooms as well. Our room had a sofa & 2 chairs in the "sitting area". Also had microwave & fridge with sink. The staff in the lobby were so friendly & we were checked in quickly. I would certainly stay here again if in the area.

This was our first experience in a Best Western since about 40 years ago. We were pleasantly surprised with the impressive remodeling upgrades at this facility. The free breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend this facility to those visiting in this area.

have all the amenities you need. clean, friendly and convenient to Rt 75. Had nice smoking area outside. the room was large with sofa and chair. staff very friendly and helpful. swimming pool looked great, but didn't use it this stay, maybe next time. plenty of parking.

This is an excellent run hotel with a premier staff . They do all the right things to make your stay a top flight one . We have been repeat customers for over 10 years and will keep coming back . The location , the value and the helpfulness of the staff are excellent

We like staying at this hotel. It is convenient to many things. The beach, restaurants, shopping, groceries, Sarasota, entertainment, etc. The breakfast is great and the pool is too. Near churches. Near route I 75 and close to 2 airports. Tampa and FT. Myers.

Well kept hotel within walking distance of several restaurants. Ideal for traveling around Venice and not far from North Port. Close to Route 75 so it made it easy to travel back to Sarasota airport. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Breakfast was adequate, nothing noteworthy but good enough to keep you until lunch. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for a whole week, and had a very good experience. The hotel staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was large, clean and had a very comfortable bed. The coffee making facilities were fine. The room also had a microwave and refrigerator, convenient for a longer-than-normal stay. The free wifi was reliable and fast. The included breakfast was much better than average for this type of hotel and included fresh fruit and yogurt as well as some hot food. If you visit here and enjoy beer you may want to know that about 20 minutes walk away there is a bar called the "British Open Pub" which has a remarkably good selection of draught and bottled beers. Some are quite strong so walking there is definitely a good idea. There is a good off-road footpath going most of the way there. Take care crossing the road near the roundabout (aka traffic circle) though as many local drivers get confused with this traffic layout. It is fun to watch for a while but leave plenty of room when crossing the road, especially on your way back :)

Loved the two weeks we stayed there. Employees were great, inside and outside of hotel looked wonderful, and the room was large, comfortable, and clean. Would recommend it to anyone staying in Venice.

Dbcooperisalive gives this hotel 4 1/2 stars. This place is very clean. Our room with king bed was awesome. The continental breakfast was pretty good. I wish hotels that provide this perk wouldn't serve bacon. It never taste good. You can tell by just looking at it that it is the cheap stuff which is typical. Here was no different. The bacon tasted like cardboard. One bite was enough for me. The sausage tasted good though. In saying that, this place was awesome. The question is would dbcooperisalive come back and the answer is a resounding YES

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great and so is the staff. The free WIFI is very slow and unreliable. We stayed here while visiting family and would definitely consider staying here again.

Diamond in the rough...this is a very nice facility with a convenient location for visiting the South Sarasota County Area. Newer and very well kept with a friendly staff and all the amenities you could possibly want in a reasonably priced hotel

Couldn't be happier staying at this fine motel. Food was the best (breakfast). Room was clean, very comfortable bed, linens. I have absolutely no complaints. Front desk was happy to help me with local directions when checking out, easy access both on and off I-75

We arrived @ 1 am after traveling all day. We had no idea where to stay but pulled off I-75 at exit 193 that indicated there was a Cracker Barrel. We knew there would be hotels near any Cracker Barrel so we exited. There were a number of hotels at this exit but the Best Western seemed inviting and was well lit from the street. When I called Ginny answered the phone and was very inviting on the telephone. She quoted us an excellent price and we thought surely it would be okay for the price. Needless to say, upon entering the doors of the lobby, our thoughts changed a little with the decor of the lobby area. Ginny was very helpful and checked us in quickly. As we went to the elevator to go to our rooms, the carpet in the hallways seemed brand new, the walls were clean and not a mark on the baseboards. I thought if the rooms are anything like the exterior hallways, we hit the jack pot! As we entered the room, we were ecstatic to see the size of the room. It was the size of a suite in most hotels. The decor of the room was earth tones with various materials that complemented each piece of furniture. The bathroom was very clean and had ample towels of all sizes. We were very happy and slept on very comfortable beds. Needless to say, we had a terrific stay!

Nicest Best Western we have ever stayed at! Great service, room, and bed was comfortable!! Beautiful exterior and outdoor pool. Beautiful quaint town close to beaches, and shopping. We enjoyed walking along the ocean and walking out on the pier!

We were staying at the BW+ while house hunting in the Venice area. The location is a couple of miles from the old town center area but has easy access to I-75 and is on Jacaronda, which is a major though way. We were greeted very warmly by Lauren when we walked in looking for a room. She was very helpful and friendly. The lobby is nicely set with a breakfast eating area opposite the desk. The public areas were very clean and in excellent condition. There are computers and printers on the second floor balcony if needed. The hallways were wide, clean and well lighted and maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, well maintained and comfortable. We really liked the mini kitchen area and the fact that there plenty of outlets to charge our devices. All of the table lamps have an outlet built in. The bed was clean and comfortable. The closet could have used a couple more hangers but then we were staying for a week so we had more to hang than usual. There are picnic tables and BBQ's on the north end of the hotel and plenty of parking. The outdoor pool is medium sized and was warm with a nice set up for towels and access. There are beach towels available at the front desk if you wish to go to one of the many Venice beautiful beaches. There is a Chinese, Mexican and burger restaurant very close by. We tried the Mexican restaurant and it was very, very good. We also tried the BrewBurger and that was great but it does get crowded. We didn't try the Chinese but it had good reviews online. We would definitely stay here again. Hats off to Lauren as she was great in answering any questions we had and also Rich, as he was very helpful too. All the people at the hotel were very friendly.

Clean, nice place if you need a place to stay in Venice. Staff was excellent. We are allergic to feathers, so very happy they had synthetic pillows and regular blankets. Check in was smooth. Good value for the money in a pricey area.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Very nice, clean, safe. The hotel was booked to capacity with holiday travelers but the staff was able to handle it. Everyone was ultra friendly! We would certainly consider staying at this hotel on a future trip.

I was unexpectedly delayed in Venice when I checked into this hotel on Christmas day. I was happy to see a huge Christmas tree in the lobby. Then up above, two more Christmas trees and a beautiful nativity scene. It helped keep my Christmas spirit in a troublesome time. The room was great and the staff was cheerful. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. The price of only $99 was unbelievably low for the Quality

Traveling north along western Florida coast. Ft. Meyer was all booked. Called around and found this excellent property in Venice. Great service, spotless room, food within walking distance. Great breakfast with dedicated focused service. Wonderful find.

Easily the best hotel we stayed in on our trip south on a Venice stay over. The hotel is super clean and our room was very spacious. I especially enjoyed the thick, luxurious towels in the bathroom. A very nice touch. My wife enjoys having a separate area outside the bathroom to apply make-up, etc. which makes it easier for two people to get ready in the morning. Another nice touch was the sanitized remote control for the TV. I had never considered just how many germs are probably enjoying a stay on the remote!! The breakfast was delicious and the buffet staff very friendly. Venice is a lovely place and we timed our stop to browse in a couple of shops, enjoy appetizers and a drink at an outdoor cafe, and then a hurried walk to Venice Beach for sunset. I would highly recommend both Venice and the Best Western to any traveler. I also couldn't shake a memory from my youth when a good family friend always insisted on staying at a Best Western. I now know why!!!!

Beautiful Best Western. Great location for what we needed, just off of I75. Short trip to historic Venice and the beaches. Breakfast was good, hot , and lots of different choices. Scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage links, yogurt, fruit, juices, waffles, pancakes, ect. Room large and comfortable. Staff great. Heated pool was nice. They have a large family room with 4 TV's near lobby area. It was great place to visit with family. Overall a great place to stay.

The choices in Venice are really limited. Most of the options are moderate chains of this type, which are not my favorite places to stay. That said, the Best Western here is a decent option. It is an older property, and certainly my room could have used an update. But the room was spotlessly clean and the desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable. The hotel is located right by the highway, and I expected our highway-facing room to be noisy at night, but it was surprisingly quiet. We skipped the breakfast every day, opting to eat elsewhere. I did find it strange that there was no room safe. The hotel materials mentioned that safe deposit boxes are available at the desk, but with all of the electronics one carries these days, it is really inconvenient not to have a place to secure things in the room. Otherwise, our stay was just fine.

Kyle got us checked in and was able to accommodate rooms next to each other, as my elderly mother was traveling with us. The rooms were good sized, laminate floors, very clean. The property is right off I75 with a few other hotel choices. The area seemed quiet on this Sunday night. The front desk staff assisted us with directions and maps for local dining options, I consider myself fairly picky on hotels I stay in, and I would definitely stay here again. Two things I would prefer to see are better water pressure in the shower, and the ability to inspect the mattress. Their mattresses are encased with a zip tied mattress cover. I meant to ask about this, but we had a lot going on as we were in town for a funeral.

Room was good size, very well decorated. Hotel either new or has been recently remodeled. Laminate flooring , no carpets, great for allergy sufferers. air purifier. very clean & quiet. small kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave.

Christmas is a comin' and the Venice Best Western is all decked out in the finest of decorations and this hotel's staff volunteered their time and energy to make it a wonderful experience! Thanks to the front desk and a maintenance man w/ jumper cables who went above and beyond the norm to make us feel special and appreciated. I'd stay here anytime and encourage others to do the same. Wonderful experience.

Comfortable, well-appointed spacious room at a rate common for fewer amenities. In room coffee, fridge, sink, dinette table in living room type area. Beds, large desk and T.V. slightly separate beyond the sitting area. High-end comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. Lovely breakfast provided, and also near other dining options, both chain and local. We were only here for one night, however this room would have been great for an extended stay. Friendly, caring, professional staff without exception. Highly recommend!

Great hotel and very good location right off of 75. Was very quiet being so close to interstate and having Cracker Barrel within walking distance. Hotel is fairly new and beautiful rooms. Beds were very comfortable.

Nice hotel with more elbow room. Traveling with an adult daughter to go visit a family member in Florida. Comfortable space, convenient to highway access and a breakfast with good choices. Appreciate on smoking rooms. Not many choices for restaurants close by.

My wife was most impressed with how the staff kept the hotel clean. The room was kept up as well as the common areas especially the staff in the breakfast area. This was a great find and would recommend it to anyone. The complimentary breakfast was just perfect.

We're Venice residents and had our AC die on us this week. We stayed at Inn At The Beach which was fabulous, and I plan on reviewing that separately later. Anyway, I called and Rich answered. I was very kind and explained that our air had broken and while we'd stayed at Inn At The Beach the previous evening, they were full tonight and check-out was at 11:00. I told him that I have 3 kids and I'm also pregnant with our 4th. I said that I had seen on TripAdvisor that they had several rooms and I was planning on booking but was wondering the earliest they'd let us check-in. With no relatives here and nowhere else to go, I was assuming he would be kind to a sick, pregnant woman and let us come in earlier. First he said, "I don't even have any rooms to accommodate you." I said, "well, TripAdvisor says you have several rooms," and he cut me off rudely and said, "no, I have no 2 queens." I kindly responsed by stating that we didn't need two queens, that a 1-King would be fine because we could use the pull out couch (we cosleep anyway so our children sleep with us). Then he said, "oh, well I can't get you in until 3," which is basically check-in. He was rude and nasty and I have NEVER been spoken to so unkindly. My husband is a well-respected attorney and our families have been in Venice for 50+ years, and I have never had such nastiness spit at me, especially while pregnant and in an uncomfortable, difficult position. Someone should recommend sensitivity training for Rich, because he missed the mark big time here. I would've HAPPILY booked even if he could've gotten us in just an hour earlier, if only he would've shown some kindness and compassion.

Wonderfully clean, comfy bed, all the amenities needed, great staff...You can't go wrong here. Next time I'll try out the pool and fitness studio. I highly recommend this hotel for business and leisure travelers.
