Little to be missed: breakfast is very good, the dinner restaurant if fantastic and the rooms are spacious and clean. Its not a luxury hotel despite the 4 stars but a suitable place to stay at for business trips.
I can highly recommend this hotel. We have a 7m old girl and therefore need some extras. But nothing was a problem here! The receptionist warmed up my baby jars, the waitress smiled at us while our daughter was a bit noisy during breakfast and even played with her so that i could enjoy my espresso :-) The hotel is clean, bar great, staff super friendly.
My family and I came here expecting it to be a comfortable, clean hotel. While the breakfast was very good for its price and the pool was very enjoyable there were a few bad things. The bathroom was just like one you would find in a Hospital, we found dead bugs and there was Mold on the wall and near the pool. The whole place stunk and felt dirty/unhygienic. We couldn‘t handle it and found a different hotel for our second night. The staff was very nice and offered us a free breakfast because of the mold in our room.

Dear Guest, we are glad you apreciate our breakfast and pool, but really sorry for your rewiew abour clening, if you leave windows open is quite normal that insects can enter in your room. We have done all for solve the problem and offer you our buffet breakfast, sorry you did not value it. Best regards Edoardo Marini
Poor cleaning, noisy rooms (I could hear the man in the room next to mine singing in the shower) and an overall impression of never updated furnitures. Only the restaurant is in line with the expectations from the 4 stars.

Edoardo Marini
We just stopped here during our trip to Grado and was pleasantly surprised. Nice, clean and even with some character. Breakfast was tasty, beds comfortable. No noise. Everything what you expect from the good hotel.
Hotel itself is nice and modern, both the room and other areas. Excellent modern air con system in room, quiet and effective. However mattress was so uncomfortable that I still have backache two days later. It was by far the worst I've encountered in any standard of hotel. Room servicing staff talk loudly in the corridors from 9am every day, so bring earplugs if you plan on a lie-in.
I was a guest for two nights in this structure for a buisness travel. It was really a good experience, for the structure and for the wellness part with sauna, swimming pool and other really nice parts. Really good and rich breakfast.
Had a conference here so unfortunately didn't use the leisure facilities. Rooms were clean. Downside was that the AC is stopped when you leave the room. Hot when you get back. Luckily I have a hack for that. I really liked the way they served entrees with your evening beer. Nice touch. Thanks Alan
Comfortable hotel although a half hour's walk from central Udine along via Tricesimo. Good breakfast and very friendly staff. Some rooms, at least the one your correspondent stayed in, are quite large and have new bathrooms with pressure squirting out.
The pool in the hotel is very nice also breakfast is delicious and inside hotel looks good. But there are some problem. We had 4 people room but it was 2 people room with couch. Very small room for family. Outside look is terrible and balcony is roof enter common for every room. Breakfast how i mention very good but you have to pay for it.
Located 10 minutes of driving from the center this hotel is nice and quiet place. English-speaking stuff, big parking, clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice restaurant, fantastic breakfast. And we have get two nice mattresses for our dogs at no charge. It does not happen often. Definitely good place for overnight. The A/C filter needs cleaning, however ;)
Don't miss the opportunity for a stay in this hotel. The reception seams a normal one but you have to try absolutely three things: the SPA, the awarded restaurant (amazing) and the fantastic breakfast in the early morning with fresh donuts. Don't forget a "spritz" at the bar during the happy Hour. Fantastic.
I was looking for nice hotel with good connection, and take care about reviews, so I choose this one. That was big mistake. When I was booking my room, I was explicitly asking silent and quiet room, because we have a very long trip in front of us and after that I have a important business meeting. But they gave us a most noisy room. We couldn't sleep all night. Noise from road was nothing in compare with shutting doors every few minutes until 2 o'clock and starting again very early in the morning. Have I mention about smell.... They put us in room first to the road and above the kitchen and restaurant. When we came to pay the bill and tell our complains to the man on reception,he was not surprised! He tell us,yes I know you have been in bad and noisy room. I can't believed that they knew that and they put us in it. Was this a joke from hotel stuff to put guests in most noisy room?!
Is part of Best Western hotel chain, not expensive deal on the road between Venice and Austrian border. Nice and kind staff, excellent breakfast. Shopping mall near by. Easy to reach from the highway. Free parking.
Don't expect much attention from the staff, even if to say hello when you walk pass the reception desk shouldn't really be that difficult... A part from that this is a very good business hotel: rooms are clean and quiet and the morning breakfast is hard to beat.
Excellent location. Near shops and restaurants. Very clean. Excellent free breakfast buffet in the morning. Nice eating area. Door opens from the room onto an outer deck as well as the door the leads out to the hallway. The only negative was that I had several Best Western gift cards that had partial amounts left to use on them and the hotel said I could only use 1 of them. I called Best Western on this and they advised that if that happened again I should call them while still at the hotel.
This hotel is listed as #2 in Udine on this site, and 8.5+/10 on other review sites, so I felt confident in my selection. The location is about 10min by car to Udine's town center. It's just off the highway in more of an industrial zone, but we arrived with open minds. Upon check-in, we were given a free upgrade to a Junior Suite. Bonus! Our stay was off to a great start. Then we got to our room. I'm not sure where the "suite" part of our room was hiding, but it wasn't in the 15 or so square meters before us. The decor was nothing like any picture online. Nothing modern...indeed, the "art" on the wall was a gigantic mounted poster of...Halle Berry as Catwoman! Woo hoo! (We had a good laugh at that one.) The bathroom was quite large, but the lighting was so dim that I had to do my make-up in the bedroom with natural light and my hand mirror. French doors opened onto a shared outer walkway. I didn't feel comfortable leaving the door open, as I didn't want people walking by and looking in our room. On a positive note, breakfast had an abundant selection and the food was decent. I found it odd however that the 3 Euro/person charge for breakfast (extremely reasonable) wasn't just included in the price. Overall, Hotel La Di Moret felt more like a motel than a hotel, and I wouldn't stay there again...nor would I recommend it. I'm surprised its reviews are so high! P.S. I've since gone back to the hotel's site, and have found no listing for Junior Suite, which makes the front desk's "upgrade" a bit suspect.
Located 3 km North of Udine's beautiful center, this modern hotel offers all amenities that business travelers are looking for. The restaurant is highly popular also with locals, so actually very very good food. The rooms are very spacious and super-modern. Check out the bathroom design. Wow! Spectacular. Most appreciated - the spacious Gym on top floor. Some of the equipment is fairly old but well maintained. We had some great workouts up there - with a phantastic view over the Northern part of Udine. Nice nice!
OK. Hotel is situated in an industrial estate close to the motorway, but quite far from the centre. More like good 3 star. Breakfast had a good choice of different types of food. Swimming pool garden poor, needs a lot more greenery. Staff OK.
We booked the La Di Moret a while ago with a non refundable deal. I was slightly worried when I saw it, it looks nothing from the outside and it is just off the busy road from Udine to Gemona. I need not have worried, it is a super hotel to stay at, vey clean, with excellent facilities, free parking and it serves an excellent breakfast. Our breakfast was not included in the room rate but at 3eu each, it was great value. I'd happily stay here again.
We Book this hotel Just Because of good restaurant but on sunday evening restaurant is closed. Hotel is far from the centre, to City centar we pay 16 EUR for taxi In obe direction. Room is Big, bathroom also, everything is very clean. Thay have very good Breakfast and good espresso. Hotel is good if centar is not Important for you.
good value for money, i enjoyed my stay very much in this beautiful little town. the good: lots of parking, nice room, kind staff, good value, location. the only flaw is the bathroom, i cant recommend this hotel for couples, the bathroom door is glass and you can see and hear everything
We have very pleasant stay at Best western hotel Udine, nice swimming pool, excellent breakfast and very kind personnel... Parking area is big and free of charge. Room was quiet and very clean. Definitely will stay again if come on this area...
Very good hotel, very nice rooms, good location, good restaurant, everything was very good. nothing to add :) Good location, good price, very good rooms, stay with Family, in trip, business, whenever you want.
visited this hotel several times in groups 2 - 10 people. Always very convenient communication with the desk, solid quality acommodation and exellent breakfast for italian standards. if you travel to udine for shopping or just passing by, very good option for reasonable money. recommended
We staid there for 3 days in May, food is great, so clean and friendly , not far from the town if you have a car, I loved the restaurant in the hotel and my 3 years old son loved the indoor pool. The breakfast is amazing.
I stay here on business because it is over the road from the Bosch/Freud HQ. The hotel is very clean and for the business traveler is perfect. Theres not much around and Udine is around 3 Km away so you need a car. Food is good in the restaurant but it is difficult to find a bad one in this area.
The rooms were very comfortable and extremely clean. The pool area too was immaculate. We have stayed twice now but each time forget that Italy closes up for August so be aware that restaurants in this case the hotels restaurant was closed all week however the bar still served food. Breakfast was good there was all sorts from fruit to yoghurts tiramisu(?!?) To breads hams cheese croissants eggs sausages bacon excellent choice and good service. we want to come back when the restaurant is open as it has excellent reviews too
After riding motorcycles trough the mountains in 30+ degrees finding this hotel with a swimmingpool was heaven, The rooms were nice and clean with AC, big bathroom with a tub. Comfortable beds and pillows. Nice spa and wellness amenities with sauna, steamer and treatments.
I ended up staying here for three weeks on business. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurant is fantastic, very highly rated on Trip Advisor and well deserved. The room was good, and the staff kept it very clean. Not all of the electrical outlets were reliable and the wifi was a bit spotty. The laundry service was first rate, though expensive (luckily I was on an expense account). They serve a fantastic breakfast, and because it's also a spa, the breakfast includes lots of healthy/natural foods, too. A great plus of staying here rather than downtown is that parking is not a problem. One downside is that there isn't a place to go for a walk in the neighborhood - no sidewalks. If you are looking for a spa, this may your spot. I will definitely return.
We made a stop over on our way to Italy in Udine and booked one night in the Hotel. Room is nice and clean and with the typical Mediterranean style. The location itself is actually not so nice since it is quite outside in some commercial district. But it fully served our purpose. Especially the nice little pool and spa area can be recommended! My Wife and Daughter enjoyed it! Both not too fancy but after a long day on the road it was exactly what they needed;-)
