« Comfortable beds very clean rooms »

First time staying at this hotel. We were. Pleasantly surprised. Nice room, very comfortable bed. Roon had a fridge, sitting area and pkeanty of parking. Will stay here again next year. Great value for the price. Front desk was helpful in finding places to eat.

« Best Western Turlock Review »

Stayed here Thanksgiving weekend. Friendly staff, convenient location. Microwave and refrigerator in room. Breakfast with waffles, pretty standard. Fairly clean but rooms are pretty small. Near the highway, so expect a little noise at night.

    « Quiet night sleep »

Location is good. Quiet night, no road noise at all. Dog friendly, nice pool and hot tub area and close to gas and food. We ate at the Dust Bowl Brewery, food and atmosphere were very good. I would stay here again

    « Hotel needs work »

Stayed at this hotel with my daughters for a softball tournament. The room smelled of smoke, the power outlets did not work, the shower head sprayed everywhere. Staircase to 2nd floor smelled like a dump. Looked like there was days worth of trash piled up and was not clean.

    « Price is right »

Stayed here on our way back north. Skip Expedia. Call direct and save, expecially if you are a BW member. Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean and neat with quality soap and shampoo. I think they use rubber sheets or mattress as the beds squeak every time you move (don't get frisky with others in the room, they'll know) LOL. Breakfast was better than average, with sausage and eggs, biscuits, and waffles. Coffee was good. If I'm in the area again, I'll go stay here.

    « Softball tournament stay »

We came here for softball tournament. Hospitality and eagerness to provide good customer service was apparent. Would recommend for a good price. A little out of the way to get there. Sign is to show freeway drivers where hotel is, but you have to drive a bit to get there. Rooms are clean.

    « :) »

There were issues with the room but it might have actually been me being picky. Some corners were a bit dirty. Light through the door frame. Old tooth placker on the floor. Syringe cap on the chair. Over all I would say tighten up the cleaning and more could be charged. Breakfast is plentiful and hot.

    « Jamz »

Great service! The rooms are spacious and very clean. The people who work here are friendly and attentive. It's in a nice quiet and convenient location. It's right next to local shopping, gas stations, and food.

    « Interior nicely updated »

The room appeared quite nice at first view however when the HVAC kicked in it had a cycle that ran that was horrendously loud and kept us awake. The front desk told us that they had not had other complaints so we assume it was a problem with that specific room and will be repaired. Beds not as comfortable as some and the train runs right behind it but that's Turlock - you have trains. Would consider staying there again as it was a good value for the money. Breakfast was more than adequate. Staff was helpful and friendly

    « Friendly Service / Clean Room »

The Inn is conveniently located right off of 99. Derrek checked me in and was friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. I like that there is a refrigerator and a microwave, along with a coffee pot. Very comfortable.

« Highway noise, but limited noise from other guests »

I stayed here 3-4 days on a temporary work assignment. The rooms are clean enough, sheets and towels smell heavily of bleach. I noticed a few maintenance issues: moldy shower grout, rust stains on shower head, loose safety lock. Highway noise is very noticeable until 11pm at night and it starts again around 6am. Thankfully, you don't hear noise coming from other guests. The continental breakfast is decent.

« nice place to stay »

Comfortable room with microwave and refer. Comfy bed, nice hot breakfast items. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy along with coffee, juice, milk, cereal, toast, the usual.. Lady even offered to make my waffle for me. Will stay again.

« Good place to stay »

Microwave frig..nice beds ...roomy...comfortable. ..big screen tv..easy to lite ...fully furnished ..plenty of parking .right off of the freeway Turlock down the street from Stanislaus state ..wonderful breakfast ..waffles waffles waffles it is a full breakfast not just muffins but they do have those two

    « Nice Room »

Love all the amenities, including the pool, fridge, microwave, free internet and free parking. King size bed and flat screen tv. Plus quiet location and free hot breakfast at a reasonable rate! Also friendly and helpful staff to answer your questions.

« Stayed here before, usual pleasant stay I have come to know! »

Room was clean, well equipped, convenient and ready when I arrived. Reserved on Best Western website same day as stay. No problems checking in, no issues with room, staff highly efficient and pleasant. Great breakfast, No complaints at all!

    « Really Impressed »

The location is great. Somehow it's secluded and very close to any food/services you could want at the same time. The room was clean and big enough to be comfortable. The tub was HUGE! I will definitely be staying here again.

    « Older, Average Facility »

There are not many choices for lodging in the north Turlock area, and since I like to stay at Best Western, I selected to stay here because it is close to family. Was slightly disappointed in trying to locate the facility. There are no signs out front or on the building. The building is older and the room doors face an outdoor walkway. There is no elevator only stairs. The front staff on checking in and out had no expression at all. I expect more interaction from front staff. At first glance, the room looked nice. On closer "use" there were a few things... The bathroom sink isn't the standard built-in. It looked like one of my husbands work benches and was to high. The bathroom floor had hair from the previous traveler, also on the bath mat. The door jam on both sides in the bathroom at floor level was trashed. The "lounge" chair was leather-like, but definitely not for lounging. The seat was at an angle was wanted to propel you forward. The TV remote didn't work half the time. The bed as comfortable. Would I return and stay here? There are not many choices at the north end of town, so I most likely would stay else where even though it would be a longer drive to see family.

« Good value, nice place »

Good Best Western value. Ask for the non-freeway side. Internet is ok. But would stay here again. Check in was the easiest I've ever experienced in my business travels. Breakfast was good. Not a lot nearby, a cafe that we did not visit.

« Nice Place to Stay »

The staff here is friendly and paid attention to my request. Even though this motel is close to Hwy 99, restaurants and gas stations as well as shopping, my room was on the front side of the motel and fairly quiet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a large screen TV, larger fridge, a microwave, and a nice size tub. I don't know if every room has a difference from the vanity floor tile and the bathroom floor tile but if you aren't paying attention, it is easy to trip on or stub a toe. The plug receptacles on the lamps in my room didn't work. I didn't realize that until I had my Ipad plugged in for a while but it hadn't charged. The pool is across from the lobby entrance. The breakfast area is large and inviting.

    « Mother visit »

Positives for this hotel, quiet air-conditioner, actually had a ceiling fan-Great plus, the bed was comply, good am coffee at breakfast and quieter on opposite side from freeway. On the wish list for this location, clean out the cobwebs and spiders, keep out the pesky flies, reverse both the bathroom door and fridge door hinges-the bathroom had a weird setup.

« Clean place to stay »

Overall a clean place to stay spacious and modern rooms, convienent to highway 99. Mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffe maker all in room. Nice staff very helpfull.Close to restaurants and gas stations

clean, secure, affordable, great amenities, quiet location, pleasant staff. I love Orchard Inn I haven't even looked at another motel in the area since I started staying here 7 years ago. This is the place to swim, walk, enjoy the area and a great starting place for Yosemite visits and water sports on the many lakes and rivers.

    « Nice place/clean rooms »

This was a nice stop on our way back from Reno on our way south to home. Our room has AC, ceiling fan, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. They are decent rooms and the staff are friendly. There's a nice little restaurant near by too.

    « 1st time visitors in Turlock »

Best Western is right off the freeway if you ask for a room in front of hotel you will be shelter from freeway noise. Front Desk good customer service, room is clean and stacious, will be taking advantage of their free breakfast in the morning in large seating area. Pool area super clean.

    « First time stay »

Not being familiar with the area I chose this hotel. The entire facility is dated. My room was tucked behind the lobby. Breakfast was acceptable with hot foods. The staff at check in was rather surly and not very helpful.

    « Convenient »

Slept, ate, was on my way. I was so happy that breakfast had almond milk for me. That is why 5 stars in my book. Rooms were clean though older. It is still local, 2 min away from malls and restaurants.

    « Decent Hotel »

We are truck drivers stuck in turlock having the truck repaired. Hotel was conveniently less than a mile away from peterbilt service center. Staff was friendly, decent hot breakfast, room was clean. Even accomodated a late check out for us. Would stay here again.

« Unfriendly and incompetent staff »

see title. was given keys to all ready occupied room. When returning to front desk to complain, was told to "chill out" by the desk clerk. Then received a room on the side of Heavy traffic and sleep was terrible.

« had a positive visit at best western »

Room is spacious and handicap was great shower was spacious enough room for myself who is disabled great Wi-Fi great task well really peaceful quiet by pool area and Jacuzzi as well really quiet and pecful

    « Sept. 7, 2016 »

The room décor appears old and stale. The room smelled as though someone had smoked in the room at some time. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The grounds around the hotel were not that tidy. In the morning there was a broken sprinkler shooting water on a near by tree.

    « Mr Connick »

This Hotel I would give a 10 on everything This Hotels staff was very helpful the breakfast was one of the best. The price isn't bad. This Hotel is clean and safe I would recommend this hotel. The bed were comfortable.

    « Bates Motel »

Worst hotel experience we have ever experienced. The staff that checked us in was rude. People smoking outside of our room. (I have Emphysema) TV remote didn't work. Room was not all that clean. Too close to freeway making it noisy. Won't stay here again

    « Sales »

Service is fantastic. We had a great experience. The rooms were clean and it smelled clean I recommend this hotel when you are in Turlock Easy freeway access. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. I will return when I'm in Turlock

« Best waffles in town. »

The waffles were hot and excellent . Prepared to order. Very helpful hostess, great attitude, very friendly staff. I would recommend staying here whenever your in the area. The rooms are very modern, recent remodel. The beds are very comfortable.

    « Love this place »

Always friendly staff, clean rooms, and wonderful breakfast. I came here with my boyfriend for a romantic getaway but we always stop here when we visit turlock. Wonderful service and wonderful rooms to stay in. Will definitely come back.

    « Amazing »

Very nice, clean, and organized hotel. Nice staff and the rooms are amazing. We came here late at night and they took us right in very fast service. The rooms were clean and also the shower which usually is dirty( and I would know since I sleep in hotel 24/7 do to work) all in all I recommend this hotel for stay!!

« Best in the West »

Hey, I love the hotel. Great price & friendly staff. Slept like a baby cause the beds are comfy. The rooms are very clean and I love the decorations and blankets are uniquely designed. The pool is a great place for the family because you have 3ft for the little ones and 8ft deep for the big dogs.

    « Review »

What a great hotel! I will be back, the pool was refreshing and clean it was also 8ft deep great for the family. The rooms were very clean and spacious, nice walk in showers with a heating lamp. Also you cannot forget the free continental breakfast.

« Best Western Orchard Inn Review »

Great service, very helpful with any questions, free complimentary breakfast, will be a returning customer. Lots of parking room, area is well kept and the landscape is beautiful. The premises is clean and the staff is prompt to ensure the cleanliness of the rooms. Upon entering the facility you can expect helpful clerks and a calming atmosphere accompanied by satisfying rates and free wifi.

« Our stay in Turlock »

No soap holder in the shower-bathtub, the WI FI username ?guest? and password ?sunset? were not in the room and the front desk did not answer their phone so I had to go and get it at the front desk. The knob is missing to control the temperature of the little refrigerator. There were many mosquitoes on the room. The guy never had me sign anything when I checked in. Rather a bare room but they did have nice towels.

« excellent for the cost »

A good deal for the cost, good breakfast, excellent internet speed. Rooms were quiet, a restaurant next door, many many places to eat a few miles down the road. Close to the freeway for easy access. I will stay here again.

« Best employees and service »

The rooms were old but have been remodeled with granite counters in the bathroom area. They are very spacious with comfortable beds. The lobby area and breakfast area were spotless, welcoming and again spacious. My husband and I were surprised by the personal assistance given in the breakfast room. There was a lovely young lady preparing waffles in the waffle machine for the guests. We would definitely return to this gem of a hotel.

    « Good Choice »

The room is updated, quite and clean. Based off the other reviewers I booked this hotel. I travel often for work and well usually choose a Best Western. Located close to the freeway. Front desk attendant was very nice and courteous. This is a good one!

« Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. »

Everything was great, staff is great, Need to fix the lights in the swimming pool and some outlets in the rooms did not work. Other than that, its worth the price we paid! Great time with family and did some school shopping.

    « It's okay »

After coming from the Fairfield Inn and Suite with Marriott, this place was a disappointment. Both methods of cooling the room?a ceiling fan and cooler near the window?are annoyingly loud. The rooms all face the outdoors, motel style, which gives the place a shady feel. One front desk worker was extremely cordial (working Friday evening) while the other was quite terse?borderline rude (Saturday evening).

« Our stay in turlock »

Great hotel and conveniently located off the freeway with some restaurants near by. Front desk was very helpful. They also have truck parking next to it. Clean rooms, great breakfast and worth the stay. I will be back.

    « Exceptional Customer Service »

My son needed to get from SFO airport to Turlock and Edwin went out of his way to organise transport for my son, collecting him from SFO airport and returning him back a couple of days later. This was so beyond my expectations and what a lovely man. Thank you Edwin.

    « Good in a pinch »

The hotel is a no frills one. It is modest but clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was acceptable (all the oranges were spoiled. We brought it to the attention of the hostess and she had to throw them all out). Don't expect to use the pool as there was a huge latino party every night there. Happy, lovely people but just so many of them there was no room at the pool, hot tub or even poolside. If all you want to do is sleep, shower and eat then this should fit the bill.

« Great place for the price. »

This was a great place for the price. The rooms were large and very clean. Rooms were comfortable with large TV. WI fi was great and the location was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall a great place. Breakfast was good as well. You won't be sorry with this place.

now they cannot accept all caps, I don't have any love for trip advisor. I want to say what I want to say and not be commanded to use more words or lower case letters. that's my feed back for TRIP ADVISOR as for Orchard Inn it is the best place to stay in central CA it is reasonable, clean, comfortable, people are friendly and it is close to everything you might ever need and far enough away to have a peace filled restful stay whether you are on business or pleasure, it is a pleasure to stay here. I stay here 144 days a year and that's recommendation enough. now, TRIP ADVISOR is that enough for you? I sure hope so because I won't post again to your site with all your restrictions

« Nice place to stay »

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable. Nice air conditioning. The staff was friendly and helpful- I saw them assist a customer to jump start the dead battery in her car. The breakfast included eggs and sausages! Also close to many shops and restaurants. When I visit Turlock again, I will book here.

    « A place to sleep »

The place is pretty close tho the highway so road noise is unavoidable. That being said the road noise isn't that bad. It's a basic hotel with basic services. The breakfast is what it is. Free. The waffles are made to order and there are some fruit options but don't expect anything close to real food. The biscuits and gravy looked edible but we didn't dare. The coffee was horrible, absolutely horrible. The pool looked frightening for a late night swim but we braved it and I believe we are disease free. It is a hotel right outside of Turlock if thats what you need.

    « Affordable comfort! »

This by far is the greatest stay in Turlock! Clean rooms, friendly staff and service, very nice breakfast, and a dream envoking bed! Aroom with a hot tub surpassed all my expectations! Thanks Best Western!

    « Great Hotel »

Great Hotel! Friendly staff, great hot breakfast, close to highway. Nice outdoor pool. Nice clean rooms with AC. We stayed here with a group of family from Vancouver, BC Canada and we all really enjoyed the hotel and our stay and will stay here again the next time we are in Turlock!

    « Great Motel »

Comfortable motel off of the 99 freeway in Turlock, CA - Best Western Orchard Inn. We needed to stop for the night, I checked google maps for motels, the Best Western Orchard Inn was one of the choices, and we checked in to this charming, clean, quiet motel!!! The beds were so comfortable, the a/c was super cold (outside was 95 degree's at 5:30pm), staff were friendly & helpful for us - two older women with disabilities!! We were given an accessible room with a shower chair in the bathroom - so nice to sit down in the shower and be safe after a long day. This is a dog friendly motel!! The grounds were very nice, landscape was so nice and clean!!! The room was perfect for us & our golden retriever!!!! Thank You Orchard Inn for a great night sleep, breakfast, and excellent staff!!!!

    « Great staff »

Very nice. Staff was friendly and very helpful! They answered all my questions in detail. The cleaning crew was equally as nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. I have stayed at this hotel doing an out of town job and will use it in the future as well.

    « very run down »

Pictures hun crooked ,plug in sockets loose in wall. Pl ug in lamp quit working in middle of the night. Dining area dirty. Landscaping need attention. Signage on property showing Best Western was non existant

« Best Western Orchard Inn »

Bed was terrible to sleep on. There many flies in the room. Room too pricey for condition of hotel. Front Desk clerk was rude when I explained the situation to her. Stayed at Comfort Suites in Turlock, CA. Hotel, room and service at Comfort Suites were much, much better, more comfortable, not to mention that price for room was less expensive that Orchard Inn. Pricing should be similar to Days Inn in Turlock, CA. At least Days Inn pricing is appropriate, not over priced like Orchard Inn. Recently stayed at BW Legacy Inn in Mesa, AZ. Experience and service there was 5 times better than Orchard Inn. Need to send undercover boss to inspect and investigate ongoing issues with the property at Orchard Inn.

    « Seriously? »

I had planned to stay 6 nights but left early. I've stayed at many BW's and this was the worst. While the room was fairly clean, the beds, bedding, etc are very old and uncomfortable. The noise in the parking lot was very bothersome...seems folks like to rent rooms and hang out in the parking lot and party. They also let their small children run around after dark. Tried to complain but no one answered the phone in the hotel lobby. As a solo guest I did not feel secure staying here so I checked out. Forgot my sweater and when I called the next day, they said they hadn't seen it. I cannot honestly give this particular BW anything higher than one star.

    « Not a three star »

This hotel should not be a 3 star, I would give it 2 1/2 at best. First the good stuff. The check in check out was quick and efficient. The hotel is next to a freeway but in the room you can not hear any noise. Now the negatives which are just me being picky. The room only had one tiny trash can, no can in the bathroom. When you have children the trash was filled in 15 minutes. We stayed in room 232 and one of the electrical plugs was broke. We had to take turns using the plugs we did have. The pool/hot tub was full of leaves(It is spring not fall). There was a beer can in the top of a tree. The beds are comfy except the top cover that felt like it was made from rubber. The breakfast was standard, the timer on the waffle maker was broken so you had to keep checking the waffle. I was a walking to my room when a bag of wet towels came flying off the second floor balcony and almost hit me. I presume it came from a maid working in an upstairs room. Would I stay here again? Maybe knowing it is a two star.

    « a gem on California US 99 »

This hotel is gem in the middle of California. I thoroughly enjoy my stays every week. All the staff and all the facilities are magnificent, friendly, clean and well tended. I highly recommend this facility for your stay. They have a lovely dining area and also host private parties and meetings. Don't miss it!!

« Clean, comfy, well priced »

We stayed one night and would stay again. The hotel reception clerk was efficient, courteous and helpful. The room was clean and everything worked. Wi-fi, beds, and shower were outstanding, with a selection of pillows and sufficient towels. We had a great dinner across the parking lot at Grizzlys. We left before breakfast, so no thoughts there. Overall, a great Best Western and deserving of five stars as such. (I'm not comparing to a luxury suite because I did not pay for a luxury suite.)

« Quiet, Clean and Relaxed »

My stay was very relaxing the room is clean, the place quiet and the staff is very accommodating and hospitable. Especially Maria at the front desk. I am area looking for real estate and the first night everything was booked out and I ended up at Motel6 which was a real roach motel I had to leave and ended up at this Best Western that was really the best, I had a great dinner at pub and grill there and I slept like a baby.

    « Mft transport LLC »

Miss Collen at the front desk was cheery and helpful took care of our ck in with respect and courtesy as well as our reservations taken by Maria over the phone . We're of to a peaceful nite. Thank-you

    « Very nicely maintained »

The hotel is obviously older, but the owners have maintained the grounds and rooms very well. Our room was clearly refurbished fairly recently. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was the road noise and some moderate noise from the adjoining room. It wasn't awful, but it was there. I'd stay here again, though.

« Home away from home »

I have stayed at the Orchard Inn at least once a month for at least 2 nights for 7 years and even when my territory expanded further south I still stay there because of the friendly people, the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms and the affordable rates, the lovely pool and spa are just a bonus.

« Worst Best Western Hotel »

I arrived late at night but had called to make sure that they knew I would be arriving late. I rang the bell and the guy who came to the door greeted me by saying, "What do you want?" The room reeked of tobacco. The fridge didn't work properly. There was no screen on the window. The pillows were like rocks. I stayed here three years ago and the place has gone down hill since then.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else on my travels to central California. this is the very best place in so many ways; centrally located, clean, comfortable, lovely upgrades to the rooms, caring staff and management. I am looking forward to swimming in their great pool this summer!

    « Nice stay »

The staff was great and my room was nice. Everything would have been fine if it wasn't the guys in the room next to me. At first I thought two guys were fighting because there was loud talking and a lot of cussing. Then more guys joined in and I thought maybe they were watching a ballgame but none was on so maybe they were playing poker. I am guessing they were guys from one of the crews that stay here. It would be nice if they realized they aren't at home and they are annoying to other guests. If I am in the area, I will stay here again and hope I don't get a room by any crew member working in the area.

    « Average everything »

There is nothing special about this hotel. It is average in every way from the room set-up, comfort of beds and breakfast available. If this is by far the least expensive option it is not bad but I did not feel good about the value for money.

Great customer service and friendly at the desk, very helpful too. The breakfast was very good nice and hot. The room was big and clean upon my arrival. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean.

    « good breakfast »

i really enjoyed the breakfast. lots of room to park. we parked our RV there. there was a RV parking next door which belong to the hotel. so you can use that. everyone was nice and helpful i will come back and stay with these people again.

« Orchard Inn, Turlock, CA »

The location is a little out of the way for central Turlock, The room was very clean and I liked that it offered a shower. Coffee in the morning was good and hot. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Good parking for trailers and trucks.

    « Good overnight spot »

Room was a basic 2 queen non smoking room. Nice working refrigerator and micro. Bed was very comfortable. Just soft enough. Nice pillows. Great size bathtub. Longer and deeper than the vast majority of hotels. You could easily enjoy and nice soaking if so desired. Only complaint was the heater/ac unit had a noisy rattle from the grill rubbing against the frame when the fan motor was on. I could not get it to stop. Breakfast was good, they make your pancakes for you. Bottom line the next morning I felt rested and my back didn't hurt. And I did enjoy their restaurant recommendation next door the Grizzly bar n grill, I would return if ever a need arises.

This hotel is well maintained, rooms are always spotless, the people are welcoming and helpful. I choose to stay at Orchard Inn even when my destination is 67 miles further south. I found the best why stay anywhere else.

« Not greatest but not the worse. Guest noise was a problem. »

I had a smoking room, so there was an odor to the room. While understandable, some febreeze would be a good idea. The rooms were average in terms of cleanliness. There were some stains on the chair, and I didn't want to think about what it could be.. I will just say it was white, so I just steered clear of it. They offered a free breakfast but I had bought in store bought items. There was a fridge and microwave, which was a plus and they were clean as were the shower and toilet. I had one complaint and that was the noise. I was on the highway side, and you can hear them whizzing by. That noise was bearable. The noise that was annoying beyond belief was, out of town workers, who stayed there. They were obnoxiously loud, cracking jokes and just being plain inconsiderate and rude. They spoke no English, which is nonsense. I am a foreigner and it is easy to get across with gestures that you are LOUD! Dogs in the upstairs room were running around all night, playing with a ball or something. Management needs to address this and not have it where a guest should complain. Make some rounds and post rules in different languages. For a hotel over $100 a room, in Turlock and having the issues aforementioned. I would skip this hotel all together. The only reason I got a room here is because of the smoking as it would have been too cold for my female guest to step outside. I have been at much nicer hotels for less in major cities than the ones in Turlock. I honestly say stay away from hotels in general here, if possible.

    « wonderful stay »

i enjoy this place, they have good breakfast, nice staff, jacuzzi was heated and ready to go. it is close to the free way i guess if you get east side then probably better. but overall it was a nice place.

    « Best Western = Best Value »

clean, well decorated and spacious rooms, complimentary full breakfast, early check in option. Staff pleasant and cooperative. No issues of any kind, enjoyable relaxing stay! Easy reservation, easy checkout procedures. Really good value in my opinion.

    « Night staff »

Night staff was very helpful and was able to get me in the room I needed. Thxs for the help I would have really hated hauling 4 tool boxes and luggage upstairs after a long days work. Rooms are clean and tidy so all in all it was a good stay once again thanks for the help

    « Truck driver »

    « Work stay »

I have had better experience with my stays at previous bestwestern stays. I asked for roll away bed there wast not one in room there way more then one room avaliable upon check in then I was told when booking.

« Pleasant surprise in Turlock »

When I told my family (who live in Turlock) where I was planning to stay they said "oh that's so far, all the way at the end of town" which I guess it is but I'm from Los Angeles so a 5 minute drive is not far for me! Very nice staff, room was quiet, clean & comfortable and if your traveling with a dog as I was it was perfect. Unfortunately, I was in town for a funeral but the hotel was centrally enough located and they accommodated my need for a much later checkout happily. Also, a really great breakfast buffet was included in the price of the room and nice "perk" these days.

« Great visit will return »

Nice room. Friendly staff. Felt safe. Second visit here and will book next time event in the area. Tried another hotel last time and disappointed . Came back to best western and will come again and tell friends about. Desk reservationists was very helpful and pleasant.

    « staff was excellent »

Would have liked a room that did not have any odors, but everything else was excellent.. The staff was very helpful and our room was in a convenient location. No noise. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. There was easy access on and off freeway and did not hear freeway noise.

    « Very good hotel »

Very Good hotel. Rooms are clean. Staff very friendly. Only bad thing is exterior rooms. When I come to this area this is where I stay. Has large truck lot and RV lot. Right off the freeway with restraunt next door.

    « Christmas visit »

This is our yearly visit. Last year we were dissapointed at the cleanliness of the rooms. This year way better! I still have email from owner from last year. I will let him know the rooms are way better.

    « Ready and warm »

Warm and comfortable. Easy in and out. Room ready, appointed well, friendly staff. We'll be back. We showed up after heavy rains prevailed but no problem, large covered arch for drive up to the office ease...

    « Friendly Service »

The Staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is about a five minute drive from CSU Stanislaus. Free wifi. Free breakfast buffet has a reasonable amount of options and staff is readily available to help.

    « Not a Plus »

Just passing through. Good shower, queen beds were harder than I would have liked. No extra blanket so I was cold. Free hot breakfast, great coffee. Nice ladies working desk and breakfast area. $89 with AAA discount so definitely not a BW Plus. Outside entrance to rooms.

    « Very nice motel »

We have stayed here several times while visiting our son at college. This property is well kept and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. it is well located, convenient to town and stores, and the 99 freeway. The only drawback is that the back of the motel is closest to the freeway and quite noisy, though once in the room we found it much quieter and not a problem at all.

« Best Western Orchard Inn- Killer Value in Turlock, CA »

I was amazed at how professional this hotel is. Fast check in, good advice on local restaurants from the desk staff, clean rooms and clean parking area. Tanisha manages the breakfast and has everything clean and fully stocked. Derek runs the evening shift at the front desk and is quick and professional. I am always happy to be here.

« Some good features, but.... »

This is an older property but has been well maintained. At first glance, room appeared clean. However, later noticed dirt on walls above bed, at sink, in toilet room, and mildew in shower. Bed is not the most comfortable. For some reason, a number of flies were in the room (at least 5) which seemed odd for late November. The staff cleaned shower and replaced shower head, which had a lot of hard water deposits, when we brought it to their attention. Breakfast area was spacious, clean, and well kept. Attendant was very good. WIFI worked very well. If the room was cleaned better, this would be an excellent property for the reasonable price.

« For the price, a very comfortable stay! »

I am not sure anyone goes to Stockton to vacation...and I was there for a dog show. This was the host hotel so everyone stayed there. Even though it is a hotel "on the freeway" you have a choice of a room not facing the freeway (facing an open field) or the freeway. I try to pick hotels that at least have a good working Jacuzzi after a day of sitting watching dogs all day. This hotel had a pool outside but I did not see a Jacuzzi. They did have a good selection of breakfast, and even someone there offering to make waffles. I felt safe, the bed was good and the bathroom was clean. Enough said!

The Orchard Inn in Turlock is the best place to stay in central CA. I have been staying there for over 5 years and love everything about it. They are constantly upgrading for the comfort of the guests. That they have had the same staff through the years is a sure sign of how great a place this is. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

    « fantastic stay wow »

these people are so friendly, the price was decent , breakfast was great. tannish was awesome. she made us waffle in the morning. room was comfortable . i always stay here and i recommend it to everyone.

    « Easy Access »

We stayed for one night during a four-day driving trip northward. The Turlock Best Western has easy access to the highway, and has all the usual comforts we have got used to with Best Western, as well as having somewhere to eat close by. Definitely a great over-night location. There is also a bonus - a really attractive pool.

« Tenisha, Perfect Breakfast Host »

We have been coming here at least once a year for the last five years. While the rooms and the front desk staff are average to above average, Tenisha, the breakfast room host is excellent. She has been on duty during most of our stays. Tenisha is cheerful, friendly, efficient and keeps the breakfast room tidy and full of fresh food. Be sure to swing by the breakfast room when you're there!

    « Trip to bountiful »

Visiting my sister in poor health a bright beacon is always breakfast attendant Tenisha! Give her a raise! Only choice in Turlock. Easy access from 99 and shopping mall down the block. Costco a short drive away. Great visit with extended family. Upon checkout the counter attendant tried to charge us for 2 nights when we reserved to use points for one night. He was not professional about it but we later resolved it with a phone call but no apology.

« Best Western Orchard Inn- A Shining Star in Turlock »

I travel to Turlock weekly for business and the Best Western Orchard Inn is my place. The people, the cleanliness, the wonderful Breakfast that Tanisha prepares, no other property performs at this level!

« nice place to stay »

i recommend this place to everyone. its a nice place . worth the money. staff are helpful and friendly. the pool was the best part of our stay. we have stayed here before and enjoy coming here and visiting this hotel.

    « Affordable, convenient and comfortable ! »

Great hotel to stay in while visiting California State University, Stanislaus or friends in the area ! Easy to get to hotel and the hotel has comfortable beds, small pool and hot tub. Easy parking, refrigerator and microwave !

I love this hotel. They take excellent care of the property, they keep everything in working order and up to date. The rooms are spacious and the bed is ultra comfy and the amenities are up to date. the wireless works better and better. the staff are friendly, caring and fun. The outdoor pool is large with a lovely patio with grill and outdoor dining and hot tub to enjoy

    « stay here often »

overall a nice place with a convenient restaurant/bar next door. A little freeway noise but it was pretty minimal and did not bother me. Turlock does smell like a dairy farm but that's where we are. Great staff - efficient and friendly!

    « Stay here! »

Second time staying here. Very accommodating and nice. Derek was very friendly and helped us with our last minute reservation. The place is much nicer than the days inn across the city. Do not stay there.

« Relaxing Weekend Getaway minutes from the Bay Area »

I just needed a place where my boyfriend and I could go, sit by a pool, read, and relax. Orchard Inn was EXACTLY what I wanted! Turlock has a cute little Farmer's Market on Saturdays and we loaded up on provisions because the hotel had a grill in the pool area. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good too, considering it was free. Room was a little outdated but served us just fine, bar/restaurant next door was okay, and (for me) it's only an hour and fifteen minutes from home. Just Perfect!!!!

    « Great service »

We have stayed here consistently for work and I cannot say how amazed I am with their service great job!! Rooms are always on point as well as breakfast really recommend you guys trying this hotel out.another plus is that it's close to the university so that's another good thing if your visiting the university.

« Nice spot to relax »

The rooms were nice! Typical Best Western Style. Relaxing in the spa after a long day of baseball tournaments was priceless! There was even a nice couple who were taking advantage of the BBQ area! The gentleman at the front desk was really nice an professional. The complimentary Breakfast was good! Lots to choose from Waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, muffins and other assorted pastries to choose from.

« A GREAT home away from home!!! »

All staff I had contact with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a great variety of hot food and a friendly person to help and answer questions. The room was very clean and provided all the extras you look forward to. It was a quiet spot off the highway as well. There was also a great shopping experience just down the highway. I would recommend this location for any weary traveler.
