Best Western Orchard Inn

This is my go-to spot when visiting Turlock. Some of the other places in town are too pricey or too ghetto, but I think this place is perfect. Prices are reasonable, they have a few different type of rooms to choose from (hot tubs in the room, jet bathtubs, big suite-type rooms & basic 1-2 beds). I've stayed in each type and the hot tub & suite rooms are my favorite

While the room was cleanish , Neither of the outlets by the bed worked which was an issue for my husbands sleeping machine. The road noise was bad, and the smell from the AC/heater was not great. Had to keep the fan on high and the TV on all night to not hear the highway. For those traveling with a smaller budget this is good, but if you are looking for a comfortable updated stay with some privacy and not a lot of noise, this is NOT your place. Also this hotel isn't located close to dining or shopping, if that is a must there are other local hotels that would be a better fit.

Traveling to the Tulare Toy Train show and stopped un Turlock. The rooms are very clean and everything worked well. The WiFi was not the best but did operate okay. Registration and breakfast staff were great. We had no issues staying here.

Second time I have stayed in the last year. It is right off the freeway so easy to get to. There are a lot of places within a few miles to eat just up the street. I liked the breakfast had a lot of things to choose from.

First off the staff in the property was great. They were very helpful and friendly. The room on the other hand wasn't so dreidels to us. The TV, microwave or refrigerator didn't work. The shower head was clogged and the air conditioner squeaked the entire night. When I called the front desk they offered me 25.00 discount for my inconvenience but the room was still well over 100 mark.

I just stayed at the Best Western Orchard Inn in Turlock, California and was very pleased with the facility that I stayed at. The room was clean and had all the conveniences that I expected for a pleasant experience. The breakfast had a good variety of things to eat, and the food was very good tasting. I will be back.

Pros: Very clean and roomy. Cons: Over priced; Missing the bath tub plug, had to use a washcloth to plug the drain to take a bath. Subpar compared to other Best Western's I've stayed in terms of overall quality.

The air-conditioning is loud in every room. The beds are starting to get old and worn out. Its noisy from both the road and the freeway. And the lady that works evenings is very very rude.. I come to this area for work every week. Gonna look for an alternative hotel

This is an right on the freeway hotel with pretty much nothing around. It's a BW so it is basically a motel but good one. Breakfast is usual with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuit and gravy, motel grade so it's fine but gets old if you travel a lot. Waffle machines are always good although not much in terms of toppings, no fruits or nuts for example. Hotel is fine in general, no issues, it's a BW. We got a spacious room with two kings and couch for about $25 more a day, which we found was worth, I like to watch TV on a couch instead of on a bed. We booked this for it's proximity to Pittman high school where my daughter had an ACT exam. If you are on this situation, hotel is only 5 minutes drive from Pittman, I timed. Other than that, this is basically a not too impressed two store roadside hotel with BW amenities, no gym though I think the pricing is right and location was perfect for us.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and courteous. The room is very clean, nicely decorated, and quiet. Breakfast has good choices and is fully stocked. The breakfast area is kept clean and tidy. Overall, we were made to feel very welcome.

When planning a Christmas Eve family gathering, we needed to stay at a place that welcomes us every time without the family accommodations stress. We could only think of one place, BestWestern. Fortunately, this decision proved to be right, again. Thank you BestWestern Orchard Inn! It was a stress free wonderful, foggy night. We loved it!

Overall the staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast is well stocked and clean. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. We had a problem with the HVAC unit in our room and have submitted information to the hotel. The property is located near Highway 99 so there is some traffic noise but overall it is quiet.

Not fancy but clean, quiet, good comfortable mattress, easy access to #99. Reasonable price. Standard free breakfast. Friendly helpful breakfast staff. We stayed one night. Our experience with Best Western motels is positive. So we keep choosing Best Western.

Overall this is an ok location lots of freeway noise no elevator so you had to take your luggage upstairs. But the staff was great a little pricy for the location. Breakfast was awesome. It's a good place

Very nice rooms. Microwave, fridge and coffee machine in the room. Fast internet. Fast and accurate check-in and check-out. Free parking. VERY nice breakfast. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Nice but simple pub/restaurant next doors.

I stayed a few nights and did like the Hotel. It is right off the freeway and pretty easy to get there. There is a lot of good places close to the hotel easy drive to them. I liked the rooms and breakfast was good. I would stay next time in the area.

The motel looks a little run down from the outdoor but the rooms are nice for the price. The room was clean (although the couch looked a bit worn and could have used a steam clean) and the refrigerator was bigger than expected. We had no trouble fitting a case of water and snacks inside. The breakfast was the same every morning, but had eggs, sausage, and hot biscuits and gravy in addition to the standard cereal, yogurt, bagels, and muffins. There were instant oatmeal packs but not fresh oatmeal with toppings like some of the other Best Western locations. All the rooms opened directly onto the parking lot, which made it a little loud as other guests were coming and going at night. There was plenty of parking and a pool out front but we did not visit it during our stay. The hotel is located right off I-99, which is convenient if you need a central place to stay while visiting nearby cities in the Central Valley.

While the roaches should be enough to keep you away, there were other issues with this hotel. For the price, you can stay in a much cleaner and nicer place. Look around before booking in Turlock, CA. Read reviews and listen to the advice of the reviewers. The pool was dirty. The remote for the TV did not work unless you were right in front of it. The roaches came out at night!!! And we saw a few in shower when we left the next morning. I regret booking a stay here. Most of all when I told the desk attendant during check out, they didn't seem surprised. Great! So you knew you had roaches and don't really seem to care about the overall experience of your patrons. Really, go somewhere else.

I recently stayed with my husband and older parents. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. We enjoyed our stay. Very reasonable rates too. If we are ever in the central California area, we would stay here again.

Very nice room and well equipped room. Nice bed and nice towels. Breakfast was pretty good with several hot choices to choose from. Only negative was the road noise on the highway side but not bad unless you are a really light sleeper. I would stay there again.

I do not recommend staying here. I arrived after working a long hard day and had not eaten dinner. The first room they assigned me was upstairs and at the very end of the hallway. My key card did not work. So I went back to the front desk and was given another room. The lady at the desk apologized because it was a room on the freeway side of the hotel and it is noisy. But I was tired and hungry. The freeway was so loud that I could not go to sleep even when the TV volume was turned up. I didn't sleep a wink! And had to go back to work in the morning.

I think this place is great for the price. There's cheaper & same price places but those are too "ghetto" for me. If you're a light sleeper then request to stay in the front of the building cuz you can hear the freeway, staying in a room on the backside. Most rooms have walk-in closets so your baggage doesn't make the room look more cramped. The hot tub, jacuzzi and 2 king larger rooms are definitely worth the extra money. I've never had a problem with the bigger rooms. Once, I got put in a very small room that I didn't reserve and they corrected the problem right away. I didn't get stuck with that, so it was cool. The other guests vary. A couple of times, fights outside have happened but it was a weekend & I'm sure they were partying too hard. I'm not blaming the hotel for others behavior. It doesn't happen frequently.

Check in was a breeze. The room was large and very clean. The bed was comfy with nice pillows. The breakfast experience was enhanced due to the associate monitoring the area was spot on. Clean area, hot and good food, Nice selection too. A good way to start your day. Check out was smooth and trouble free. Nice stay.

Couch is dirty and room is ugly. Disappointed..not like online pictures at all. Not worth the price for sure. Spend more at another place, it'll be worth it. I had chosen this onne because of good rating but wow...

After being a long-time Best Western Rewards customer, my family and I will likely NEVER visit a location again after our horrible experience. Both rooms were infested with roaches and when we reported it to the front desk, they were not surprised at all - and explained that they would move our reservations to different rooms. The person at the front desk took my cell number and let me know that he would call me when a room was available (initially explained that they were fully booked). To my dismay, I never received a call back and when I attempted to follow-up with the front desk, the person was curt, dismissive and agreed that there was a note to move rooms but no instruction to reach out to me as the guest. We booked two rooms (family of 5) and both rooms were dated and the cigarette smells were so strong that the rooms reminded me of a Vegas hotel in the 80's. The staff had ZERO interest in resolving any issues and ZERO display of care for us - the guests.

The hotel was a nice place to stay. It was quiet. The rooms were cozy. Pool was open. Breakfast was very limited but offered which was enough to hold us over until lunch. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

I have stayed here once before, a few years ago, and it is still overpriced for what it is. The rooms are clean, but show much wear and tear, and need much maintenance. The bathroom needs touch up. The plugs are worn out and need to be replaced. I had to move a couch to find a good plug to charge by devices. The internet was about 2mb download -- hardly better than dial-up. The heater didn't work in my first room, but thankfully, they provided another room. I didn't need much on this stay, but it was still not worth the price. Next time I'll pay a little more and get a much nicer room at a new hotel in the area. Their problems are all fixable. I hope they care enough to do so.

My stay had issues from a stain on the bed sheet as well overall lack of room cleanliness. I also woke up with bug bites. Front desk staff was informed of my issues & concerns. Also, a very noisy stay. I was not offered any follow-up other than this post-stay survey. I would not stay here again.

The bathtub had more hair in it than what's on my head. The a/c unit vibrates so bad that you can't sleep with it on. The gap all around the door let in more light than the window. Needing some serious upgrades.

The last couple times I've stayed here, the noise has been out of control. Doors slamming, loud talking, heavy walking, and horns blowing at all hours of the night. The night clerk obviously doesn't even care or try to do anything about it, or even offer piece of mind for that matter. Somebody really needs to get control of the situation here. Stop the all night goings on and drug dealing. This was my last stay at the Orchard Inn.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They upgraded my room seeing that customers service booked my reservation for the wrong type of room. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. It was a good experience for me and my family.

You could feel the springs in the mattress, there were stains that were totally visable. Lamp had a short or something it would flicker when I tried to turn it on. The outlets were popping off. Looks like people were living there hanging outside drinking. Even leaving in there morning there was people smoking cigarettes sitting in camping chairs. Didn't feel like a Best Western. I definitely won't be staying here again.

This Best Western Inn on Golden State is VERY clean, very nice, almost like a 5 star hotel the way the front desk treats you. The girls at the front are SO nice, very attentive, fun and not to mention unbelievably Charming! I recommend this hotel to ANYBODY for ANY Occasion! Will be booking for sure!

We had checked out at 830pm after checking in at 11AM for repairs to our semi. Asked Daniel the night manager at 1:00am (due to us waiting in parking lot for a load from corporate) at the front desk if we could use the restroom he told us since we checked out there is no public restroom.

Very nice place. Check in was quick and the rooms were clean. Quality stay for the price. The truck parking is convenient for a truck driver like myself. Derrick was friendly and knowledgeable. Will be returning..

Heading home to Canada in the midst of the pandemic. The room is large, bed is comfy, and I feel safe. Great location right off the highway but still surprisingly quiet. The breakfast will be a takeaway bag, looking forward to seeing what I get!

This place was great and close to the freeway. Close to food, staff was friendly i liked the grab and go bags for the prevention of the corona virus. I spent the night here w my business partner and were treated great

We thought the hotel was just great. I've always tried to book through Best Western because you can get a nice room. The front desk clerk was very helpful and accommodating. I was impressed with a nice tiles around in the walkways of the hotel. Both the outside and our room inside was very clean

We had a nice time during our stay. The hotel is clean and accommodating, and the breakfast selection was great. Its far enough out of town to not have to listen to lots of traffic, but close enough to get where you need to in 10 minutes or less.

I would totally recommend this hotel for whoever is around the area. I booked my stay for a business trip and the accomodations and cleaniness must receive 5 stars. I am coming from a long trip and this location works perfectly with my schedule as well as it is a great price.

The breakfast was amazing! Had all my favorites. Sausage, eggs, and waffles! Whenever I'm in the area and need a place to rest I'm stopping here. The staff was really nice, the room was well done up, the hot tub was relaxing. I have not one complaint.

They have breakfast , pool, and clean rooms. Anything I asked for they were willing to help and the location is right by freeway so no worry you'll get lost. A lot of restaurants and stores within 5 minutes .

Derek at the front desk greeted us warmly. He was sincerely helpful. The room was adequate for a one night stay and clean. We were on the side of the motel away from the freeway which was nice Derek made sure I got my Best Western member number recorded. I really appreciated that. Our refrigerator freezer was not cold enough so the frozen meat we were taking to Palm Springs thawed out over night.

The hotels were exceptionally clean. Very close to restaurants yet very secluded. The free continental breakfast is very very good as well. We've stayed here a few years now and there's a reason we come back.

I dropped my review one star from last year reluctantly. The staff have been friendly, rooms clean, generally no complaints on the most important things. However, the television at breakfast is set to one extremely partisan channel and the staff said that they are NOT ALLOWED to change it. No one else was even in the breakfast area with me and this particular station makes me quite nauseous with the BS they spout. Felt like my whole morning was hijacked by Big brother. Staff said it was a directive of the owner to not allow them to take it off of this channel. I may check out other hotels in the area where freedom of the press and freedom of choice are still valued.

I chose it because it has a huge parking lot. This is one of the best kept hotels in California.Friendly staff and the rooms are big in size. My room had a big walk in shower and a closet that was bigger than some hotel rooms I have stayed in.

Awesome place here. I have stayed at this hotel a few times. Every time that I have stayed here it has always been clean and tidy in the rooms. The hotel staff is always warm and inviting. One of the plus sides here is that some of the rooms have jacuzzi tubs in them.

I'm a welder and work 16 hour days, it was nice to just get in and relax. Not a lot of outside noise, love the scenery, close to nice dining establishment. I would recommend staying here to all my friends and family.

My husband and I visited the best Western hotel in Turlock CA and it has been 3 years ago and we have been treated as if it were a five star hotel. Everyone is so kind from the front desk to the maids. Our grandson had a small accident and even though there is no laundry facilities the maids were so kind and dried his clothes and are kids were able to go on their way without any further issues. We both recommend this hotel and will return when back in the area.

Traveling from the California desert resorts home to Washington we stopped in Turlock for the night. In the past, the chain of Best Western accommodations had characteristics that we could depend on. Among those standards were refrigerators that worked, bathrooms that had counter space for more than just a glass, bathroom fans that moved the air, and just plain cleanliness and a front desk staff that actually appeared to want to be friendly and welcoming. This hotel lacked all of these features. This hotel is desperately in need of some renovation and modernization. The front desk check-in person was surprised and put-out that we didn't make a prior reservation (but the hotel had lots of available rooms). The breakfast room was out of most fruit (only three bananas, and a few oranges and apples). There was no whipped cream (an empty can but no replacement) for waffles and the bacon was micro thin. The scrambled eggs were cold and the list goes on. There were only seven patrons eating at 8:30am so it wasn't like they had a big rush that we could see. On the plus side, we were on the side of the building away from the freeway traffic so it was quiet and there is a large selection of eating places and convenience stores very close. Can it be true that Best Western is lowering its standards or is this location an exception? Overall we are noticing a decline in Best Western facilities and other chains are stepping up to capture our business.

I'm here on a work visit and a truck driver and I hardly have time to have peace with myself the room was clean Miss Colleen was very helpful and nice and friendly. I have a sweet to myself can't wait to sink in a bubble bath

The location was close to where I needed to be. The Staff was very friendly and the room clean. I didn't notice computer in lobby until after I checked out, computer is a nice touch. Hotel offered free WiFi, another grear touch. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

This is a great hotel, nice clean room with a big spacious closet. Great lighting in the parking lot. Next to freeway and an awsome bar and grill next to hotel. Very helpful front desk, with a great breakfast bar. Will be back here aging.

If your in the Central Valley of California, this is a great place to stay. Rates are reasonable and they have a very good breakfast that is included in the room rate. Easy access from the 99 freeway.

My mom and I had a great sleep in our very clean and quiet room. The beds were very comfortable and the room was not cramped. The staff were very kind and the breakfast looks great! The only thing that was a bit tricky was seeing the sign on a dark evening.

We are taking a quick trip down the west coast to see our kids with our second stop here. This Best Western seemed newly updated with plenty of electrical plugin places including usb. Free WIFI a plus because cell service is spotty here. I loved the tall sink counter and our room was pretty quiet all night.

Not fun find other people's hair in the bathroom and my food. Please retrain your employee to value the company they work for so the guest have a better experience. You probably need to pay them better

Great place to stay, clean rooms and friendly staff! The king size bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious also breakfast was great, biscuits and gravy my favorite! They also have the waffle machine.

Stayed here 6 months ago and was pleased. This time even tho we made the reservations weeks ahead, we were put in a room where we asked Not to be. Rooms 105 and 106 are very noisy in the mornings with guests going to breakfast. We asked for a room with carpet—not available. The bathroom door is a pain in the ?? And always in the way! Desk help was not helpful. Next trip to see Mom we will be staying at another hotel. We have stayed mostly in Best Western when traveling but this one really missed the mark for us.

This hotel is a typical Best Western as far as design, but it tops the scale in customer service. The staff is welcoming and helpful making our last minute need for lodging a wonderful experience. From when I entered the lobby to see if there was availability, to breakfast the next morning, we were made to feel like VIP's. As for the rest, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was convenient for what we needed, and there is a great restaurant next door (but it is a separate entity).

This is our 2nd time staying here. Nice place to go, our family likes the rooms, pool and hot tub. 100% recommend to anyone. The breakfast is great also! Also, did I mention how much we really really liked the hot tub?!

Check in was quick and pleasing. However, once we got into the room, the TV wasn't working, the room smelled, the shower head was spritzing water all over the place, the carpet was dirty and disgusting looking. The worst part is to call to the front office and their young employee throwing an attitude saying he cannot contact his manager or do anything for me. He hung up, I called back and he refused to change rooms lying that they were booked when there was only not even 10 cars parked on the lot at 12 midnight. No courtesy, nothing. For 140 dollars a night, piece of crap I would've been better off at Motel 6. Never staying here again in Turlock. The customer service was what got me more angry than the broken TV and showerhead at this point. If I had an option to go below negative zero rating, I WOULD.

Nice rooms and has a big pool it is in a nice place and the employees are very nice the pool area is grat for relaxing and spending time with family whould come back when i can. The breakfast was vary good

Great quiet hotel right off the freeway clean rooms with soft comfortable beds checke in was fast and the person at the front desk was very friendly will definitely stop by again when im back in town.

Loved the front desk help, friendly, easy and fast! Room and area is quite and clean. Prices are competitive and you can check online for great discounts. I have been around the area but never had the chance to check this hotel and I am glad to choose this and will stay again.

This place is the most heavenly place on earth besides where scarlet johannson makes poops. I mean how can you compete with that though? So yes you can imagine... this place is the essence of a divine creatures defecate.

I hate to review this hotel because it's such a gem. Nice, well appointed rooms, refrigerator and microwave in room. Great breakfast to start the day, and the breakfast attendant is super nice - she keeps the breakfast area clean and neat. She also offers to help and if not busy, will take your plates to throw them away when you're done. The only problem we ever had here was when a fraternity stayed one night. The boys were very inconsiderate and rude, cussing at each other, running the halls and stairways. This continued until we were trying to go to sleep. My husband called the front desk - the clerk was responsive and obviously took care of it because within 5 minutes all was quiet.

Jes at the front desk was very sweet and friendly. Clean and quiet, we would definitely come here again!! Breakfast included and service was fast and easy!!!!! The pool and hot tub is open till a great time so we got to enjoy it.

The front desk Lady was very nice. The breakfast lounge and front entrance when you walk in was very neat and pretty. The view of the orchard outside is nice not facing the freeway is great! First walked into the room and noticed that it was extremely needy and a lot nicer than the hotel that my dad and I stayed out in the bay area and for a great price. Arrived and no type of gretting no hello how are you today nothing .they Didnt ask if i was a best western rewards member, room smelled of dirty musty old carpettook a minute to adjust to the smell and the pillows were hard and you cant use the tv and microwave at the sametime your light will dim and the tv and microwave will shut off

Not bad for the price. The hotel has been around for a while and is a little dated. Great if you are traveling with a dog. Front of hotel is better as back faces the freeway and a little noisier. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good. Easy access to freeway.

Best western Turlock is a clean well kept hotel. Hot tub room is awesome . Would defiantly come again. The room was very spacious and roomy. Comfortable bed. This hotel is must stay destination. Beyond perfect

I have to travel from Wisconsin to Turlock about 2 or 3 times a year and I always stay at the Best Western Orchard Inn. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had at a Motel. The price is competitive and the rooms are comfortable. The only two negatives is their is no Elevator to the 2nd floor and rooms on the west side are close to Hwy. 99 and their is a lot of road noise and light coming from the Hwy. since it is very busy. Would recommend booking a room in advance and requesting a room on the east side. The place is very busy since they have a lot of tour groups that stay there.

The location is great for truck drivers they have parking next door . Bed , tv and main room is great condition . The front desk guy is really nice and rest of staff was very polite. This is my second time and will be back again . Only thing needs upgrade is bathroom areas but everything is great.

We stayed here for my son's wedding.The breakfast was great.Everything was very clean and we had 2 queen beds.The staff was very very efficient and exceptionally accomadating.Its right off the highway and we didn't even here the traffic.

Nice hotel. Right off of highway. Just doesn't have an elevator. Which can be a problem for the disabled. Other than that, it's convenient. Very nice staff. They did have Sausage gravy with biscuits for breakfast which was a nice turn-around from the other hotel breakfasts I've seen. Not the best hotel. Convenient and cheap.

We were very pleased with our stay at the best Western Orchard in Turlock California. The room was very nice. Spacious, clean and very pleasant surroundings. I loved there with no carpet. Our room had hardwood floors. I love to read late at night, and was thrilled with not only a good reading lamp by the bed, but a plug in the lamp to charge my phone. We had a very comfortable stay there. Everything worked, the staff was super nice. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

After I booked a room @ the worst hotel on the planet, I was so upset to find there were no rooms in town, Turlock BOOKED SOLID? I couldn't believe it. We stayed with a family friend the 1st night but the 2nd night The Best Western took excellent care of us. Beautiful rooms and the property is extremely well kept! In this horrible time for my family The Best Western gave us all some comfort! I also really appreciated Tanesha who checked us in, she was very helpful. Overall The Best Western Orchard saved the day for me and my lil family. I will certainly stay here again.

We have been staying here for 3-5times a year for 10 years while visiting my Mom in Turlock. We have a Dog and have gone from upstairs to handicap for my 87 year old husband. Always great, affordable, clean and good breakfast. We have seen their breakfast room move and carpets changed. The grounds are always beautiful.

This hotel is conveniently located right in the middle between Yosemite and San Francisco. The rooms are big and clean. Nice and friendly staff at the reception. Good breakfast provided. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

The room was very clean and the staff was nice and friendly. The hotel is in a good location, right off the freeway, but kind of a quite area, so I like that. Restaurants and shops are just 5 minutes down the road. The breakfast was very good. Warm eggs and bacon with fluffy biscuits and gravy, I was very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely stay here again. Bathroom had some issues- toilet didn't flush well and shower spray was hard and ‘prickly', but we were only there 1 night so no big deal

Quick weekend get away for softball. Hotel is easy to find right off the freeway and a nice location. Room were clean and bed comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Has a nice hot and pool. Breakfast was good.

In our travels which started in Arkansas ended around Turlock California stopped at the Best Western.Rooms were nice & clean! Staff was very professional,small pool but gets you cooled off, would stay here again.

I stayed at the Best Western in Turlock, California on a Monday for business. It was a great stay. The front desk welcomed me and got me to my room quickly. The room was clean and very spacious. Highly recommend it to anyone staying for a brief visit.

Price was reasonable. Breakfast ran out early but had variety . Service was good. Check in/out was easy. Pool was clean. Everyone was friendly and close to shops center, freeways. Free and pleanty of parking

While working out of town quite a bit this is one of our choice hotels. The staff is extremely helpful and the property is always clean and the pool is a PLUS! Only suggestion, if you REALLY want a good night's sleep ask for a room on the street side, not the highway side. Have been here many times and will do so again in the future!

The hotel is old and out of date. Lights don't work and outlets don't hold plugged in items in. The breakfast was lacking any options. You could hear road noise all night and the beds were not comfortable at all. The price for what we received was not worth it.

Staying at the Best western in Turlock, Ca. Was a great experience thanks to the staff for the fast check- in as well ad checking- out. I felt like I was staying with family. Very professional staffing to meet the needs of the customer.

I love this hotel. We travel a lot, and this hotel has the nicest staff I have encountered. The pool is the perfect way to spend a hot California day. And there is easy access to shopping right down the road. We will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast provided a variety of items, hot and cold, to choose from. The staff was helpful and room really clean. Ice was available, as was microwave and fridge since it has been so hot in the area. It was relaxing.

The room we stayed in was neat and clean. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Ice dispenser hasn't been working so we couldn't get ice. Apart from that everything was great and breakfast was included as well

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 years while visiting family in Modesto. Each year, the rooms seem to get worse and worse. This year, we did notice the painted accent wall, new headboards, and a few other newer pieces in the rooms. However, there were COCKROACHES and crickets in the room, moldy holes in the ceiling, water damage all around the tub, the exhaust fan in the restroom did not work which made the room extremely humid after a shower, the TV remote did not work, only one accessible outlet in the room worked, the door did not seal at the top, handle side, or bottom, and there were stains on the bed sheets under the foot runner and on the walls. Overall, we were incredibly dissatisfied with our stay. I do have dated photos of the issues. I do not remember the name of the woman at the front desk, but she was very understanding when we brought up the issues with her. She allowed us to cancel out second nights stay without any cancellation fees. I sadly would not recommend this hotel until the disgusting issues are rectified.

Check your shower head and coffee maker for cleanliness before using. Food was horrible, old (biscuits were hard, gravy was cold, sausage had a very strange taste, breakfast rolls were hard, not fresh). Left and ate elsewhere. Pool was green, could not even swim. Bugs in bed.

Plenty park and restaurant on site.Clean rooms and friendly staff.There is a lot of amenities in the area. This location is very close to the dealers. A good area to shut down for a reset if you need to.

The noise from the freeway was horrible. We got no sleep. I called the front desk and he said "that's how it is" I complained about the smell of smoke on the room and he said he would note my account. When I asked in the morning asked they said there was no note

Very friendly staff. Clean room. They are very nice rooms like they have been recently remodeled. A good hot breakfast in the morning. Only downside is the road traffic is loud. We were on the back side right next to the highway and it was a bit loud for this country girl. But all in all, it was a good experience

It is a decent hotel with nice staff and free coffee. There is also a great pool and breakfast area. Unfortuantely, there is no gym. Still, it is comfortable and well-equipped. Overall, it's a great hotel.

This is an OLD STYLE motel with some modern ideas. First, you have to get past the no tell motel style of this place. It is in the middle of nowhere. You have to drive to get to any place that has decent food. The breakfast is good and the staff are cool. The bar and grill next door were scary.

Close to where our Mom is at Assisted Living, been remodeled and close to restaurants. Two years ago we had stayed here and the water was terrible but this has been remedied. Safe parking. Quiet is the side opposite the highway. Check-in girls were very helpful as were the breakfast girls and cleaning girls.

Over priced motel that I won't stay at again. The decor may have been updated but it's just lipstick on a pig. The shower pressure is so low it it barely usable. Had to shut off the Aircon overnight as it is so noisy (I think bearings may be going out) and this is when you need it most. The breakfast is so "low cost" is skipped it entirely the second day.

I stayed at the BW Orchard in on 4/5-6/2019. Having already showered before my arrival on 4/5, I did not shower that night. I did shower on the night of 4/6. I set the water temperature and stepped into the shower. Needing to further adjust the shower head, I took one step towards it, slipped (there was no bath mat in my room although other rooms had them) fell over the tub enclosure and onto the bathroom floor, fracturing my clavicle. I spent 4 1/2 hours at the Emanuel Hospital emergency room, got examined and Xrayed. When I checked out the next morning, I told the desk clerk that she needed to get a bath mat in room 207. She said that they usually have them in all the rooms, but they ran out. I checked with 3 or 4 teammates (I was playing in a softball tournament in Turlock) who said they also experienced slippery showers. One man said he slipped, too, but caught him self and banged his elbow on the shower wall which resulted in bruising. I visited an orthopedic surgeon when I got home, who confirmed the fractured clavicle. I contacted the BW General Manager, Edwin Sarkissian, and urged him to get bath mats for all rooms. I asked him if he would cover any of my medical costs for the accident and he told me that it is not required to have bath mats and that it was my fault that I slipped and suffered an injury: "It happens all the time" he said of people who have been injured inside and outside of hotel rooms. A call to BW headquarters in Phoenix resulted in no interest whatsoever, only that I had to deal with Turlock BW hotel management. I've been a Best Western Rewards member for years, but was summarily brushed off about my complaint. I won't worry about it further as, probably needless to say, I'm through with BW. Warning to BW guests: make sure that your room has a bath mat if you plan on showering. The shower surface is extremely slippery.

My daughter and I were tired after spending several hours on the road. We were not able to stay at the hotel we had booked for the evening, due to the flooding of roads in the area. At the last moment we were able to secure a room that was clean and had nice amenities. The receptionist at the front desk was friendly, professional and helpful. Thank you for a nice stay.

It has been over a year since I last stayed at the Best Western in Turlock. At that time, the rooms were very tired, and desperately in need of modernization. Happy to report they completely updated all of the rooms! They are a big improvement. Beautiful, new furnishings and fixtures. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast room is very nice, although some hot breakfast options could be better. Free WiFi is always appreciated. Compared with similar motels in the area, this now offers the best value and prices.

We were in town for a show. Hotel was clean and smoke free. Full breakfast. Easy access to the freeway. Friendly staff. Large room. No complaints. Pet friendly with room for the llama but we didn't push that! She is staying at the fairgrounds.

Hotel was an easy access from the freeway...chose hotel due to pet friendly rooms. Very nice room with firm beds. Breakfast served hot entrees along with standard cold options. Also within walking distance of cafe serving B, L, & D.

Stayed at this hotel for one night. We are pulling a 32' boat and they had an awesome parking lot that was safe. Would recommend this hotel to our friends. Our room was very comfortable. And the was a restaurant/bar right next to the hotel.

The hotel rooms are really clean the front desk staff is awesome they give you cookies when you get here and breakfast was really good. We got here late the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in getting us our room and making sure we had everything we needed when we went in for breakfast the staff at the breakfast bar was very helpful asked you if you needed anything they wanted to make waffles for you it was really good and we had a lot of fun

Check in was efficient and informative. Desk Clerk was very cordial. Rooms are neat and clean. Very comfortable room. We came by without a reservation and received a reasonable rate. Appreciate the parking for large vehicles.

2 a.m.. low battery alarm goes off in my room. I go to the front desk, and ask for batteries, I'll change them and go back to sleep. He said they don't take batteries. LIE! Ended up moving to far side.

I've been to many best western hotels and this is by far my favorite. Location could of used some work but the staff, cleanliness and the breakfast are the best, as well as the price per night. For the quality of the room you can't beat it honestly. And they charge no deposit which is an instant 1 star for me when I book anywhere.

I like this one in particular since I can get truck parked next to the hotel. Easy on and off from the freeway. Honestly, great deal!!!!

This hotel is located near Yosemite National Park with all amenities that you want. Fast WiFi and a nice breakfast adds to the good impression that we had of this Best Western Plus. Only downside was the noise from freeway right next door.

We checked in around at 1:30 AM the young man at the front desk was very friendly. The room was super clean. We got one of the rooms that is facing the freeway. The only thing that I would like to share is that it was raining and the floor was extremely slippery. As my husband was making his way to the room he slipped and fell. He was carrying our little boy and they both ended up on the floor, thank goodness neither one of them got hurt.

Stayed there last minute for a funeral. The customer service was spectacular! The room was spotless and affordable and quite frankly just beautiful. The bed was super comfy and I don't think we'll want to book anywhere else from now on! Thanks for making a hard trip much more comforting!

I've stayed her off and on over the past10 plus years. The motel is convenient to restaurants and freeway access. The freeway side can be a bit noisy if you are a lite sleeper the other side is quiet. I like this place because the allow my dogs.

I have been a best western member for a long time and I love it. Everyone should stay at this place. Being a trucker which I need the large parking lot which they do have and it makes it a whole lot eaiser

The rooms are very clean and the receptionist is very polite and helpful! They offer a large parking lot for big trucks so parking is extremely easy. You also get a free wine bottle so that is pretty awesome and unique too!

After a long day we found a great hotel and we got free wine too. There was wonderful service at the front desk. The beds were really great. We have had a long day and this was the perfect place to stay for us.

This was a great place to finally stop after a long day of driving. Clean, comfortable room, very helpful staff all at a reasonable price. The breakfast was good; nothing fancy, but cooked well, hot, good variety and my husband loved making his waffle. They had a good variety of muffins (the cranberry was delicious)

This Best Western definitely has the best amenities out of all of the ones in the area if you come here you definitely will be satisfied at the rooms were clean the food was great in the morning not a lot of food to eat around the hotel but the service is great

when I first booked it they had old pics of this place, and inside rooms. so I expected less, when I got here, they had remodeled with new stuff so I was surprised and happy about the product. staff was good too, they seem happy to be there. breakfast girl was super friendly made me waffles. I will stay again if in the area. thank you

Visiting turlock for work . A friend recommended this place I tried it , nice friendly staff in the breakfast room. They recently remodeled I guess so it looks nice. The doors open to the outside . You can park ur car outside ur room in case u want to keep and and eye on it. They have a pool and spa . Didn't use the pool but the spa was good. Price was ok . Over all I was happy .

My wife had emergency hip surgery after an accident and we had to drive back home to Washington. We got up about 430 am to leave and went to check out about 520 am so we could beat traffic northbound. I got to the front desk and no one was there. I called out pretty loud and nothing. I went to the breakfast area and was told he should be there so I walk back and nothing. I called out several more times and nothing. After waiting I decided I would call. After about 15 rings he picked up (sounded like he just woke up) not only could I hear him on the phone I could hear him on the other side of the wall talking on the phone to me not even 5 feet away. I told him I was at the front desk to check out and he told me not until 6am. Did he bother coming out and talking... nope he didn't. He was to lazy to even walk around the corner. Now if I pay to stay somewhere I would expect a little customer service not a well you are going to have to wait to check out. No explanation and still he would not come to the front desk 5 feet away. I will say I yelled because he had zero respect for his job and i called it like it was he was asleep and got caught and was not able to come out and explain anything. I hung up the phone and walked out. I tell my wife who is now sitting in the SUV with three new pins in her hip that she got less then a week ago the guy won't let's us check out and we can't get our receipt. Of course she is the voice of wisdom and tells me to just put the key card on the counter and leave. I walk back inside and lo and behold there is Daniel tucking in his shirt at the front desk. I drop the keys on the desk and tell him how lazy he is and walk out. End of story right? Nope... Daniel must have called the construction guys because they all came out of their rooms next to the front door and one asked me what the problem was. Told him it did not concern him and finished walking to my car. Daniel ruined best western for me. He is lazy and the most disrespectful clerk they have. I doubt I will get my free bottle of wine for my review on trip advisor they advertise.

This has been our "go to" hotel for visits to Turlock for several years and is always a great place to stay. We stayed in one of the remodeled rooms and appreciated the agricultural themed wall prints. Friendly and attentive front desk and breakfast staff. We thought this was a BW Plus last time we stayed here. It should be.

A good average Best Western property. Close to I-5. Clean room, Breakfast okay nothing special. No potatoes! Easy check in and checkout. Price was nothing special either. It was a good stay at this property. The televisions in the breakfast room were not working.

Comfy beds and did the trick for a quick night stay while playing softball. Staff was professional friendly and courteous and we were able to check in a little early. Breakfast had great options including eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy. We would definitely stay again!

I'm staying in a Newly remodeled room....clean....extremely slow internet....4 power outlets that were not working so phones....laptops and iPads DID NOT charge overnight.... Also....I travel 75-90 nights a year in hotels.....this hotel is VERY overrated....its a 2 star for the area.... I wish it was.better.....

My second stay here and it is as awesome as was before. I would recommend to anyone staying in or near Turlock. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are firm and comfortable. There is parking for trucks and RVs beside the motel.

I have stayed here on multiple occasions and the stay has even got better. Currently remodeled rooms to a more modern look and it just feels so good. The gentleman (Derrek) that checked my family in was genuinely friendly which is usually a good sign of a pleasant stay and indeed it was. Everything you should expect and want from a hotel has been thought of. * Friendly staff * Clean interior and exterior * Microwave and mid-sized fridge * Ironing board and hair dryer * Complimentary coffeemaker and tea in each room plus 24hour coffee in the lobby * Complimentary good quality soap and shampoo * Clean swimming pool and jacuzzi and this leads to friendly guests (everyone seems to greet one another and have smiles on their faces). It is also located within a couple of minutes drive of big brand stores and eateries. too many to list but for fast food to casual dining to dessert based shops and clothing, grocery and hardware stores. Sounds good so far? Then keep reading. The breakfast... WOW! It is absolutely amazing! First off all the women who run the breakfast area are extremely kind hearted and clean, The food itself was fabulous and they have everything I could possible ask for or desire. Waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, variety of cereals, muffins, cupcakes, danishes, biscuit and gravy, variety of yoghurts with a variety of toppings such as raisins buts, chocolate, toast, bagel, jelly and jams! I think I even left out a few! Honestly, the breakfast would have cost a family of 3 over $30 if we were to eat out. There are so many reasons to stay and I can not think of one reason not to stay here, every time!

I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Orchard Inn. The beds were so comfortable and with the newly remodeled rooms I could not have asked for a better stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My stay was amazing. I slept really well. I previously stayed at other hotels and I did not get as good of sleep as I did here. The rooms have been recently remodeled so they are really nice. Mariah (morning shift) was amazing during breakfast. She was there to help with any of our needs.

The bed was very hard and while we paid for a King sized bed, it was obviously a queen sized bed. The whirlpool we paid for was just a tub with jets in it. We paid 180 total for an incredibly standard room.

Amazing place great staff! The place was clean and we got greeting right away. They gave me triple aaa. I even got a free pen from the front. The bed sheets smelled cleaned the bathroom and towels were soft.

The front desk staff was very friendly and took the time to answer questions I had about the area and hotel which led to friendly conversation beyond my questions about the hotel. As I entered the room I was pleased by the clean smell the room and the modern decor and furniture. The room has a fridge a bit larger than most hotels which was great if you want to shop for a few days at a time. All the appliances were clean and even the filters in the air conditioning / heater were spotless. They have local country pictures hanging on the walls which adds a nice cozy touch. An oversized mirror also hangs on the wall which is great if you plan on dressing up and want a full body view. They took the time to fold the hand towels in a decorative manner which was just nice to see. The bathroom was clean and there was a fresh roll of toilet paper which I like as I don't want to feel I am using the same toiletry as the last guest. There is a microwave in the room which was also spotless and a very nice new LG flat screen tv in which the cable has remarkably clear reception. The internet is provided by a local non big name provider which has great speeds with no downtime. There is great shopping within a 2 minute drive and I prefer this hotel compared to hotels more closer to the shopping areas as you do not have to deal with the noise of the hotels closer to shopping area. The jacuzzi and the pool where clean and a pure joy at the end of the day. The guest that I have seen were polite and were respectful of each other. It is a nice quiet area that I really enjoy conveniently located in Turlock and the highway 99. I see no reason to stay at any other hotel in the area. It is always a pleasure to stay here.

They give out free bottles of wine if you leave a review here. Oh and about the hotel, there's plenty of parking and breakfast is always on time. The staff is nice and always gives extra towels when you need them.

Room are clean, location is good for business. Overall I'd stay again for another TURLOCK business trip, there is not a lot within walking distance but the hotel is in good order. I have stayed here before and the breakfast is good.

My wife and I stayed here. Freeway close, big rig parking a plus. Clean large rooms. Nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. It's nice to know that in between Bakersfield and Sacramento, there's an upscale place in the central valley.

The bad: On the freeway side; there is freeway noise and the train horns about every 2 hours through out the night. The Good: The rate was fair. The room remodel is really nice, Comfortable mattress, lots of hot water and shower is clean. Breakfast was very good and Mariah was really helpful. Colleen at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Overall: I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

We were in town for a wedding and stayed here. It was cheap, friendly, clean and they have continental breakfast. We always look for hotels with free breakfast because we have two little ones. It was delicious complete with eggs, sausage and biscuits! All good! Thanks best western, once again you were awesome!

This is easily the best hotel in the area, plenty of parking, friendly staff and a very good break. The best part is the rooms are well maintained and nice. Every time I'm in the area this is my hotel of choice along with plenty of my co workers.

Nice and clean place with a wonderful breakfast. There was even a lady making and serving the waffles which was amazing. The only problem was bed making noise and bathroom door knob was not working. It is value for money.

Near a highway, very noisy. We couldn't sleep. A terrible night. All night noise from cars and trucks. Do not recommend. we asked for another room but were told that the hotel was full and that it was not possible to change. A sleepless night.

The air condition went out at my house, and they weren't going to be able to come and fix it for two days. So my boyfriend and I stayed here with our beagle and had an amazing stay. The room was nice and clean, the shower was amazing, the air conditioning was exactly what we needed, and our dog loved the room. What else can you ask for? Overall, I would choose this location again without hesitation!

We requested 2 queen beds and got a king, also requested the upper floor and got the ground floor. The tenants above us were noisy (banging on the floor). The bath tub clogged. The bed was a little squeaky.

We checked in, walked in and got on our phones to start looking for another hotel. There was long dark hair on the top of the comforter underneath the throw pillow. The door and door jam was gray/black with all the dirty hand prints. It just felt like there was no pride from the staff in the hotel that the doors weren't wiped down in who knows how long. You could feel ever spring of the mattress even on top of the comforter when you sat on the bed. There were also other guests smoking cigarettes right next to the door so that was unfortunate as well. Just not a place I felt comfortable sleeping at.

From making a reservation over the phone to checking in and checking out...wonderful customer service. Rooms were clean and well maintained. We had a double king room for my husband and I and our 5 kids under 13. More than enough room!!! Well Done!!!

This is the third time we have stayed at the Best Western Orchard Inn. When we arrived and went to check in, however at first they couldn't find our reservation despite handing the person at the desk the booking.com print out. Finally it was found. Went to our room to find there was no shower chair in the shower (We had called in advance and requested an ADA room - same room as we had had before, room 111 ) there were no tissues in the Kleenex space and not even an empty box, lastly there was no hair dryer. So I went to the front desk and they handed me a box of Kleenex, said they would go and look for a shower chair but were quite puzzled there wasn't one. Lastly argued with me regarding a hair dryer, said it was hanging on the wall. It wasn't and when a hair dryer and the shower chair were delivered it was obvious the hair dryer was brand new. Lastly there were no little facial wipes. Went to the front desk and was given ONE. Then we tried to turn on the floor lamp. It didn't work. We finally figured that out, it was unplugged. Then we tried to call the front desk and the phone didn't work, it too was unplugged. Does no one check the room????? When I reported this to the front desk they brushed me off with oh well," is it working now? Maybe the painter forgot to plug it back in". The TV was plugged in and it was in the same area. The next day again there were no little facial wipes, no shampoo, no soap, no conditioner, no coffee, no tea all of which are listed as items in the room on the website for amenities. The ONLY positive mention we are able to make is Mariah in the breakfast area. Always greeted us with a smile and kept everything well stocked and clean. If the rest of the personnel were even half as attentive and caring as Mariah, we would not feel so compelled to write such a bad review. Don't think we will ever go back unless we are contacted by the manager with an apology.

Checked in for a few days to work on a nearby Cell facility. The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable of the area. Check in was quick and painless and afforded our party two rooms needed for the remainder of our stay.

I called to reserve a room for 1 week. Best Western Orchard Inn offered free parking, full breakfast, Internet (2.92 Mbps download, 0.5 Mbps upload), pool, and hot tub, refrigerator and microwave. The prices were reasonable so I went ahead and booked the room. Not having received a confirmation of the booking, I contacted the hotel directly again and a young man, rather rude and obnoxious, promised to send me a confirmation, and did so … the next day. I found the room to be clean, the bed and pillows to be really nice, and the balance of the staff to be very pleasant, cheerful and helpful. Though the room was clean and comfortable, the door had a fair sized gap on the side and underneath allowing light and some draft into the room but a quite a/c + heater more than maintained the room temperature. The walls were on the thin side so some road noise could be heard day and night but not horrible. I was on the street side, the freeway side may have been noisier. Most neighborly noise was not heard but an amorous couple left little to the imagination one morning. Room construction was mostly okay but I'm not sure the wall-plug cover, that did not cover the electric box hole would pass fire inspection. The breakfast bar offered a pretty nice selection of things to start your day and the waffles were quite nice. Some of the other selections were not the highest quality, but they weren't bad and you really can't complain, after all, it is a free breakfast.

Service was great, room is clean and updated, bed is comfortable. Nice size TV, bath tub is spacious, staff is efficient. Some freeway noise, but otherwise no complaints. I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The front desk worker was welcoming, courteous, & informative. The pool was clean and easily located from our room. Hot breakfast available until 9:30. Room smells slightly stale. Free Wi-Fi with password and login readily available.

I am a long time member of BW so expect all to be equal. This was way below my expectation. I now think one needs to find BW Plus to have a nice experience. Sacramento is great this one is tight and smells of toxic cleaning supplies. Front desk was indifferent to our needs

Checked in after a long day of work. The front desk bummed us up to a suite out of no where. Super nice treat for us! Nice, big and clean room! Thank you for a pleasant stay. Close to a shopping center with great selection of restaurants.

Control to the television was very easy to find. Sink water works. Big mirror for my wife to do her makeup and me my hair. A tub is very convenient to shower my son. Clean for my son to run around. Door opens reverse so be careful with the kids fingers and anyone behind the mirror. Great overall stay

This is an awesome place. They have a pool you can swim in and cool down after a long day. Breakfast in bed is always the best at best western. Lots of comfy chairs in the room you can just stop back and relax and call it a day.

Front desk staff was friendly, but didn't take pride in their job. The quality of the rooms left something to be desired... The decor and plumbing have not been updated for a while. The pillows were small and uncomfortable, and the bed was too firm. Breakfast choices were limited, and the same thing was served every day.

We used Expedia and upon arrival we had Fast check in, clean room. Fridge and microwave in room. Great parking. Breakfast and WiFi included. What more can you ask for. We had a great time on our trip.

I travel a lot for work and see a lot of bad places. This location was kept very clean and all of the staff were very helpful with all of our requests. It is also really close to some good places for dinner.

Overall the place was nice but I'm not much on not having some sort of rug in the room. I fixed the table light. It looked like it hadn't work in sometime. People were nice. Check in was easy. Check out was easy.

We had a crew of 6 people for a few weeks beekeeping and the rooms were great. It was definitely a very welcoming experience staying here; when we left for the day the rooms were already cared for and we've never had problems not having enough towels or toilet paper lol. We've stayed at nearby hotels in the past and we've had problems with having our rooms not being cleaned or not having toilet paper replaced. We've stayed here before and we'll be staying here again for sure. If you're looking for a reliable, reasonably priced hotel that gives you the privacy your looking for this is definitely the place to stay at.

I have stayed at this Best Western in the past. My experience this weekend was so bad I don't know if I would go back. I was on the back side of the hotel (facing the freeway) and the noise of the traffic made you feel like you were sleeping on the freeway. I had always stayed on the front side before and it is definitely quieter. However, the biggest problem was very loud music playing until 3:30 am. When I tried to contact the front desk they never answered the phone. The following night the music was turned down a bit but still continued until 3 am. The front desk person could have cared less when he was asked about the noise level in the building. His answer was that he never heard any music. When asked why he didn't answer the phone he said he never heard it. Think they could use a little work on training their desk people.

I recently had the occasion to stay in this Best Western for a nearby dog show. I experienced a lot of VERY loud music starting about 2:00 am. I called down to the front desk for over a half hour at 2:30 without anyone ever answering the phone. In the morning the gentleman that was still on duty from his overnight shift said he never heard the music or the phone ringing for 30 minutes! I asked for the managers name, Edwin, who I called that next day. I was told he was busy and could he call me back. After not hearing form him , I called him back only to be told he had left sick for the day! Not a place I would stay ever again! I will also spread the word to all who show in the area!

This place is dirty and old. Woke up to no water or power caused by their faulty equipment. They were rude and offered no refund. I had to drive an hour out of the way to shower and had to buy coffee and breakfast elsewhere. Avoid at all cost!!

I stay here at least once a year for work nearby. The front desk guy, Derek, was awesome! Respectful, helpful and quick. There was a very large swap meet going on in town and it was nuts getting rooms anywhere. I'm glad I made reservations when in advance and chose to stay here! Thanks guys!

The location is in a great place right off the freeway and near gas stations and food. The front desk employee was very friendly and the whole place, even though older, is very well kept and clean. I woukd definitely recommend to family and friends.

The outdoor pool and hot tub are open in winter and very enjoyable. Room was clean and spacious. Very convenient from the highway 99 with minimal noise. Works great for us! Being from out of town, finding a place so nice was really a pleasure and let's face it, any time you have a pool and hot tub after a long day on the road, it is best to take full advantage of opportunity. I really appreciate the complimentary bottle of wine also. That is such s great gesture and will be sure to keep us coming back year after year. We will tell all our fiends and family about the great opportunity

I often travel through California on highway 99. I really enjoy staying at best western hotels, since I was delivering local I decided to stop at this best western. Plenty of truck parking, safe and convenient. The front desk LADY was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable of the area. I will definitely stay here again!

Nice comfortable, place. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Convient location. No laundry facilities, but directed to one near by.. Many stores and restaurants close. Doing a 3 month contract in area and worked well while waiting to get in apartment.

Nice clean comfortable room. It was nice to have plenty of outlets and usb plugs next to the bed. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Coleen at the front desk was very knowledgeable about the area and was helpful at check in.

The Hotel was in a sketchy part of town, with no security patrolling parking lots. You need to use two different remotes to watch a program. No information on the Channel breakdown (nbc, abc etc…) The shower head was low pressure w/only luke warm at best.

I loved how close this hotel was to the event I was attending. It was a little off the beaten path but still close to restaurants, target, and other amenities, but not so close as to hear lots of traffic or have other issues. It was clean, comfortable and easy.

I checked in at approx. 6:00pm just to get some sleep before heading to SoCal checked out around 3:00am but the room was clean and orderly. Seemed fairly old. Hotel rooms near Modesto tend to be high. This was very reasonable. But overall I would stay again.

Great desk people, great freeway access. Quick, easy, and clean. Away from the riff raff and safe from city roaming tweakers. Careful where you stay in central .ca, this location is out of the way and in a good spot.

Cockroaches in the room what else can I say I was very disappointed they where pretty big too they where just there crawling on the wall it was pretty gross me and my fiancé where grossed out about that that is the only complain I have

I looked this place up online and was in need of a room for an overnight trip. Spoke to a polite front desk gentleman and his service was quick and easy. Place is clean and nice. Has a flat screen tv and bathroom with coffee and clean towels.

Great stop for the night, large parking for Trucks and great service checking in. There's a restaurant next door so support a family owned business with great take out and full bar. Will definitely stop again on future trips.

So I went to this hotel a couple nights ago and I have to say this was the best hotel around, I have been here a couple times and I'm never going to another hotel in the area again! Derek was the nice gentleman at the front desk and he went OUT OF HIS WAY to give us excellent service, he honestly made our entire night! I love every single thing about this hotel! Super clean, right next to the freeway, amazing staff (especially Derek) and there is a CEILING FAN!!! What?! If you are honestly trying to find a place to stay at for a few nights or even over night I highly recommend this place and the beds are suuuper comfortable! THANK YOU BEST WESTERN IN TURLOCK I WILL BE BACK SOON!

Nothing fancy, but fine if all you need is a place to sleep. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Could've used some more dusting but wasn't gross. Access to the rooms are from the outside but I felt safe even though the hotel is right off the highway and I was traveling as a single female. Breakfast was great, quite a bit of variety. Not much in the area immediately around the hotel, but there is a gas station / convenience store down the street. Overall, a fine stay.

All the interior rooms and common rooms have been upgraded and are very nice. Staff is wonderful, especially the lady that takes care of the breakfast bar. But it is an older motel on the freeway with cement stairs and outside cement walkways. So it helps to wear earplugs. The breakfast is excellent.

We were a bit disappointed in this hotel. We arrived after a long drive and we're greeted by no one at the front desk. The evening reception clerk was in the room behind the lobby desk. He made no effort in trying to place our rooms together or even nearby, instead putting them on opposite sides of the building. Also, he didn't inform us that the wifi was not working, which is very important for one of my relatives to maintain contact with her family and business in Thailand. We made a second visit to the lobby to ask what the network was called, only to be told the wifi was out in parts of the building, he had supposedly rebooted the router already and they would call their provider two days later on Monday. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and comfortable, while the breakfast was plentiful and tasty with a very hard-working and helpful attendant. Once again, when we went to check out, the day receptionist was nowhere to be seen and again in the back room.

We are regular guests at BW Orchard Inn in Turlock. We stay several times during the year and always have a good experience and are treated very well. Always a very clean room and good breakfast and wonderful staff - friendly and very helpful. Would recommend to fellow travelers and we are always extremely pleased.

No elevator; lots of street noise. No closet. Be careful exiting the bathroom, the eye-level shelf is just beyond the door swing, ready to crack you in the face. Overpriced for what you get. I was expecting something like a Hampton for the price. But this is more like a motel.

We were very satisfied with our stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Each staff member we met was pleasant and seemed to care about our satisfaction with our room and stay. We appreciated the hot breakfast, since we do not eat carbs. The eggs and sausage and coffee were all great. We will always return to this Best Western when in the Turlock area. Thanks especially to the manager who was very accommodating. We have already recommended this hotel to our family who plan to stay in the area.

This Motel is not downtown, but is close to everything in Turlock or Keyes, Calif. Well maintained and priced right. The Motel is just off the "99" highway and has a several restaurants near buy, including one within easy walking distance..

Great service, friendly staff, great hot tub and pool, and a cozy room. They have free Wi-Fi, the towels were folded into awesome fans. This place is comfortable and affordable. The area is beautiful.

The room was ok, nothing special. It appeared clean, but the beds were so uncomfortable and the bedspreads were wrinkled which made me feel like they were used. The staff members were not the most accommodating. If it were up to me, I would send them to some serious customer service training. Breakfast was more impressive than the room, and had a a variety of choices..the fast food basics, cereal, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, bread and coffee. For the price I might stay here again if I didn't have any other options, but I would rather not.

We attended a wedding in Turlock and just needed a room for one night. Based on other reviews we chose this hotel. In comparison to other accommodations, the cost was about 50% less. The room was extremely quiet, the location was excellent (right off the freeway and close to everything), the bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious! What more could you ask for? If we ever need to stay in the area again, we will definitely go back!

I stay in hotels up and down Central California. The Best Western in Turlock is one of my favorite. Great staff, hot breakfast and comfortable clean rooms. I highly recommend! And small business owners sign up for automatic upgrade to Diamond status.

This Inn had high quality service and a professional staff. Good sized room, very comfortable. Great breakfast and good amenities. A small outdoor pool that I unfortunately didn't get to try out. I would recommend this inn for the price if you are looking to stay in the area.

The hotel was very clean. The room was very comfortable. I did have a problem with the ceiling fan, but the front desk guy Derrek, took care of it right away. Nice Jacuzzi. It really helped my back after an excruciating long car ride.

We stayed at this location last minute for business. The area is more industrial than central Turlock...but I must say, the service was great, the hotel was clean and well kept and one of the best rests ever! The breakfast was delicious and we even enjoyed the pool and hot tub! If we need to come back to Turlock for business, this will be our home away from home for sure!

Awesome staff, and the rooms were cozy and clean. Very close to shopping and restaurants yet not right there next to them which was nice. The only bad thing was the person in the room next to us kept slamming their door and waking my baby up. The kids were also loud.

Outdoor swimming pool and free hot breakfast. It's a good deal for the low price! Location is a few miles north of downtown Turlock so that may be a factor, but it's right off Hwy 99 and not far from CSU. Only a mile or two to a huge shopping center with lots of restaurant options.

Good location, easy access to freeway and in town shopping, and college. Freeway noise wasn't bad, even in room we stayed in which was facing freeway. I would ask for room facing away from freeway if it's available.

We've stayed here for many years every time we visit Turlock and have never been disappointed. The room was spacious and very comfortable. When checking in, request the rooms away from the highway. Much quieter. The breakfast buffet is very nice. When we first started staying there, it was in a converted room. They remodeled and now it is in a big room with lots of seating. We look forward to our next trip.

This little outdoor hall hotel is quiet, but close to plenty shopping/food. It has a nice, moderatetly big pool, soothong spa, and comfortable beds. AC a bit noisy, but works very well on a hot day. The room was clean and stocked well. There is a nice little dorm fridge and clear LCD TV.

The people were nice and the service was great and the free bottle of wine with check in, what more can u ask for. I enjoyed the stay for business and plan on returning in the future. I told my supervisor this was one of the best hotel stats ever

We are two brother's who have been traveling down the West coast along the 101, we have been guests at a lot of hotels/motels but this is by far the best and nicest! Great service and very clean and a great pool.

Room was just sort of ok not up to the standards I would expect from BW. On way to Yosemite stayed for one night. Room had a jacuzzi that did not work, a desk chair with a broken/missing wheel and nonexistent internet.

I had checked in on July 8th and checked out on the 10th and one of the first thing I noticed was how beautiful the property was palm trees,pine trees, alot of life around the hotel the man at the front desk was very nice and made me feel very welcome going to my room I noticed the hallways were kind of sticky and there was alot of trash on the plant beds. The room was nice I didn't look it around to much I went straight to bed after a long drive bed was nice good tv nice air conditioner when I woke up to go check out the breakfast I noticed that there was a young man (More on him later) hand picking all the trash in the plant beds and was wiping down the stairs and the stickiness that had been there the night before. The lady in the breakfast room (more on her later) was great good breakfast the man at the front desk was very helpful on things to do around turlock. After getting back to my room I started noticing things that were broken or not working door latch,lights, tub and toilet wasn't draining after calling the desk a young man who honestly looked like he was just released from prison (alot of tattoos didn't really smile in street clothes) came in and started fixing things don't judge a book by its cover he was one of the few things that made this stay bearable very nice and apologetic about things fixed everything in 20 minutes! Over the next few days the maids didn't clean my room good at all and when I tried to bring this to the attention of the front desk man on Saturday morning he seemed more occupied with talking on his cell phone than helping the 3 people waiting in the lobby finally the other thing that made this stay bearable was a lady named tanisha very very nice and professional she had the maids clean my room right away and and even had a lady come double check my room! One thing that really caught my attention is that it seemed as if the young man was the only maintainence guy on the whole property which is pretty big I was told by one of the maids that there was two maintainence workers but he was the only one I saw the whole stay. When I checked out Sunday morning talking to the lady at the front desk was a nightmare. So after putting all this together the verdict is I met a few very nice workers Tanshia and the Young man. Front desk service is not great, the maids are ok but do not clean very well the property looks nice but it's to close to the freeway the pool looked ok but I didn't swim all this for about 100 bucks is the best you get I guess I would probably stay again if I had too because of the nice people that I did deal with but not my first choice next time time to have some costumer service meetings!

Went to Turlock for a college tour and camp with my daughter the hotel is very conveniently located. The staff was kind and helpful and the room was clean and comfirtable. Perfect for what we needed. Inexpensive and close. We would stay again

I like staying at Best Western, however this one had some flies in the room that were annoying...I had to kill about four or five little ones,,, it was a nuisance....otherwise room was ok...didn't call front desk because problem was minor..didn't want to change rooms and all that...so I took take of rthe flies...breakfast was your basic continental which was fine..pool was refreshing. so it was okay. Would I go back..? hmmm Yes, but if the same problem occured I would request a change of room next time. Maybe I just had bad luck with this room, all other BWs I've stayed at have been fantastic.

The room was spacious and tastefully furnished. It was also clean. A nice size television with plenty of channels. It had a refrigerator and microwave which is always welcomed. the breakfast had plenty of choices.

We had a great time at this hotel. We had the family suite and my family just loved it so much. The breakfast was great, the breakfast lady helped me with my little ones by making their waffles for me. Pool was great as well. We will make sure to stop in as our stop to anywhere.

Our stay was average at this place. Odor in room was the only problem. Professional and friendly staff. Eating places just down the road. Easy on and off access to freeway. Had a nice pool, excellent for families with kids. It was a quiet stay for us, which we needed.

It is Close to San Joaquin NWR for birding. Just off highway 99. This place is Reasonably priced. Our room had a king sized bed. You can hear some road noise. Comes equipped with a microwave and refrigerator.

I only stayed at the Best Western Orchard Inn 1 night. I got in late and hit the road in the morning. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. There was quite a variety of foods for breakfast. Most of them are not able to be eaten by those who cannot eat gluten. I left in a review on the Best Western site that they get some more options for those of us who must eat gluten free. There is 1 side of the motel that gets traffic noise. I asked for a quiet room and was put on the other side.

I was on the and really needed a break. Extremely clan and we'll run. Big rooms too. Nice shower heads and bar and grill to boot. Breakfast was hot and delicious. The cost was minimal. And it is right off the highway 99 in Turlock, CA. I enjoyed a short three days here and got the rest I so badly wanted. Best in show!

The staff was very efficient but one didn't get that warm and fuzzy feeling from them, The hotel itself was clean and roomy and comfortable and moderately priced. We lost wifi just before leaving and the hot tub was under repair but other than these two minor probs we would definitely stay here if ever in the area again

We were passing through and needed an inexpensive place to stay. This fit the bill. Nothing fancy but does have a continental breakfast. The AC worked and the place was pretty clean. We would stay here again.

The area from outside made my expectation low, but once checked in I was pleasantly surprised how clean and nice this inexpensive hotel was. Air conditioned, very large room with two queen beds with all amenities such as ironing board and hair dryer, desk and sofa. The staff were all happy group of people and friendly even though it was a memorial weekend and they would have been happier with friends and relatives.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Turlock. Recently upgraded breakfast room is a plus. Rooms have some satisfactory touches, like better bedding. Our room was clean, and well appointed for the cost. Fine for a one-night stay. Ants in the bathroom was a negative.

Perfect place to stay if in the Merced area, since Merced has no Best Western. Hotel location is easy-off/easy-on Highway 99, and is close to many major stores in Turlock. The rooms are quiet, and both times I have stayed here I have been pleased overall with the experience.

This is an amazing motel a oasis in the desert of a long and weary trip.You can just tell from your first glance at the outside up keep of the trees and plants that this business really cares about the details of guest accommodation. The service was great the room was exceptional, even the towels were soft something you don't find except at higher end hotels. This Best Western gets 5 stars from me. I would highly recommend anyone traveling up California 99 stop off and plan to stay the night here. I have book marked this Best Western at one I will certainly plan my business trip down time at.

We stayed in room 116. There is about a 1 inch difference between the tile floors at bathroom entry with no transition. The tile is the same color so the difference is hard to see. I stubbed my toe going in to the bathroom bad enough to draw blood. My wife hurt her foot coming out because she stepped on the two different height floors. Also the clothes rack is in a very bad location for short people and my wife hit her head on that.

Although this was an older property it was well maintained and fairly clear. The staff was very friendly upon checkin. Entrance to your room is open to the public. Room equipped with TV, air con, plenty of plugs. Places to eat and shop about a 5 minute drive from the hotel. Good for a business traveler.

Great staff, very friendly! Rooms are comfortable and spacious. A good amount of cable channels on room TV. Continental Breakfast in the morning is good, a lot better then other comparable lodging places out there. And best of all they have Tractor Trailer parking.

This property is dire need of an overhaul. The bed was terribly hard, the shower needed some help with the spray pattern of the head. There were issues with everything needing some sort of repair or paint, or refresh. Just about passable. The tv changed channels on its own. Free wi-fi helped. The breakfast was ok. Found a bug in the bed which was a bit off-putting.

Stayed at this hotel with my daughters for a softball tournament. The room smelled of smoke, the power outlets did not work, the shower head sprayed everywhere. Staircase to 2nd floor smelled like a dump. Looked like there was days worth of trash piled up and was not clean.

Stayed here on our way back north. Skip Expedia. Call direct and save, expecially if you are a BW member. Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean and neat with quality soap and shampoo. I think they use rubber sheets or mattress as the beds squeak every time you move (don't get frisky with others in the room, they'll know) LOL. Breakfast was better than average, with sausage and eggs, biscuits,and waffles. Coffee was good. If I'm in the area again, I'll go stay here.

We came here for softball tournament. Hospitality and eagerness to provide good customer service was apparent. Would recommend for a good price. A little out of the way to get there. Sign is to show freeway drivers where hotel is, but you have to drive a bit to get there. Rooms are clean.

There were issues with the room but it might have actually been me being picky. Some corners were a bit dirty. Light through the door frame. Old tooth placker on the floor. Syringe cap on the chair. Over all I would say tighten up the cleaning and more could be charged. Breakfast is plentiful and hot.

The room appeared quite nice at first view however when the HVAC kicked in it had a cycle that ran that was horrendously loud and kept us awake. The front desk told us that they had not had other complaints so we assume it was a problem with that specific room and will be repaired. Beds not as comfortable as some and the train runs right behind it but that's Turlock - you have trains. Would consider staying there again as it was a good value for the money. Breakfast was more than adequate. Staff was helpful and friendly

The Inn is conveniently located right off of 99. Derrek checked me in and was friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. I like that there is a refrigerator and a microwave, along with a coffee pot. Very comfortable.

I stayed here 3-4 days on a temporary work assignment. The rooms are clean enough, sheets and towels smell heavily of bleach. I noticed a few maintenance issues: moldy shower grout, rust stains on shower head, loose safety lock. Highway noise is very noticeable until 11pm at night and it starts again around 6am. Thankfully, you don't hear noise coming from other guests. The continental breakfast is decent.

The location is great. Somehow it's secluded and very close to any food/services you could want at the same time. The room was clean and big enough to be comfortable. The tub was HUGE! I will definitely be staying here again.

There are not many choices for lodging in the north Turlock area, and since I like to stay at Best Western, I selected to stay here because it is close to family. Was slightly disappointed in trying to locate the facility. There are no signs out front or on the building. The building is older and the room doors face an outdoor walkway. There is no elevator only stairs. The front staff on checking in and out had no expression at all. I expect more interaction from front staff. At first glance, the room looked nice. On closer "use" there were a few things... The bathroom sink isn't the standard built-in. It looked like one of my husbands work benches and was to high. The bathroom floor had hair from the previous traveler, also on the bath mat. The door jam on both sides in the bathroom at floor level was trashed. The "lounge" chair was leather-like, but definitely not for lounging. The seat was at an angle was wanted to propel you forward. The TV remote didn't work half the time. The bed as comfortable. Would I return and stay here? There are not many choices at the north end of town, so I most likely would stay else where even though it would be a longer drive to see family.

Good Best Western value. Ask for the non-freeway side. Internet is ok. But would stay here again. Check in was the easiest I've ever experienced in my business travels. Breakfast was good. Not a lot nearby, a cafe that we did not visit.

The staff here is friendly and paid attention to my request. Even though this motel is close to Hwy 99, restaurants and gas stations as well as shopping, my room was on the front side of the motel and fairly quiet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a large screen TV, larger fridge, a microwave, and a nice size tub. I don't know if every room has a difference from the vanity floor tile and the bathroom floor tile but if you aren't paying attention, it is easy to trip on or stub a toe. The plug receptacles on the lamps in my room didn't work. I didn't realize that until I had my Ipad plugged in for a while but it hadn't charged. The pool is across from the lobby entrance. The breakfast area is large and inviting.

Positives for this hotel, quiet air-conditioner, actually had a ceiling fan-Great plus, the bed was comply, good am coffee at breakfast and quieter on opposite side from freeway. On the wish list for this location, clean out the cobwebs and spiders, keep out the pesky flies, reverse both the bathroom door and fridge door hinges-the bathroom had a weird setup.

This is the place to swim, walk, enjoy the area and a great starting place for Yosemite visits and water sports on the many lakes and rivers.

This was a nice stop on our way back from Reno on our way south to home. Our room has AC, ceiling fan, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. They are decent rooms and the staff are friendly. There's a nice little restaurant near by too.

Best Western is right off the freeway if you ask for a room in front of hotel you will be shelter from freeway noise. Front Desk good customer service, room is clean and stacious, will be taking advantage of their free breakfast in the morning in large seating area. Pool area super clean.

Not being familiar with the area I chose this hotel. The entire facility is dated. My room was tucked behind the lobby. Breakfast was acceptable with hot foods. The staff at check in was rather surly and not very helpful.

Slept, ate, was on my way. I was so happy that breakfast had almond milk for me. That is why 5 stars in my book. Rooms were clean though older. It is still local, 2 min away from malls and restaurants.

We are truck drivers stuck in turlock having the truck repaired. Hotel was conveniently less than a mile away from peterbilt service center. Staff was friendly, decent hot breakfast, room was clean. Even accomodated a late check out for us. Would stay here again.

The room décor appears old and stale. The room smelled as though someone had smoked in the room at some time. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The grounds around the hotel were not that tidy. In the morning there was a broken sprinkler shooting water on a near by tree.

Always friendly staff, clean rooms, and wonderful breakfast. I came here with my boyfriend for a romantic getaway but we always stop here when we visit turlock. Wonderful service and wonderful rooms to stay in. Will definitely come back.

Very nice, clean, and organized hotel. Nice staff and the rooms are amazing. We came here late at night and they took us right in very fast service. The rooms were clean and also the shower which usually is dirty( and I would know since I sleep in hotel 24/7 do to work) all in all I recommend this hotel for stay!!

Hey, I love the hotel. Great price & friendly staff. Slept like a baby cause the beds are comfy. The rooms are very clean and I love the decorations and blankets are uniquely designed. The pool is a great place for the family because you have 3ft for the little ones and 8ft deep for the big dogs.

What a great hotel! I will be back, the pool was refreshing and clean it was also 8ft deep great for the family. The rooms were very clean and spacious, nice walk in showers with a heating lamp. Also you cannot forget the free continental breakfast.

Great service, very helpful with any questions, free complimentary breakfast, will be a returning customer. Lots of parking room, area is well kept and the landscape is beautiful. The premises is clean and the staff is prompt to ensure the cleanliness of the rooms. Upon entering the facility you can expect helpful clerks and a calming atmosphere accompanied by satisfying rates and free wifi.

No soap holder in the shower-bathtub, the WI FI username “guest” and password “sunset” were not in the room and the front desk did not answer their phone so I had to go and get it at the front desk. The knob is missing to control the temperature of the little refrigerator. There were many mosquitoes on the room. The guy never had me sign anything when I checked in. Rather a bare room but they did have nice towels.

A good deal for the cost, good breakfast, excellent internet speed. Rooms were quiet, a restaurant next door, many many places to eat a few miles down the road. Close to the freeway for easy access. I will stay here again.
