« Good hotel next to ferry harbour and castle »

Very good mid-range hotel right next to passenger ferry harbour. The building is beautifully quaint, the rooms were a bit more boring but they were clean, quiet and have all basic amenities. Breakfast had a good buffet spread and staff were nice. The only problem was a lack of free parking but the staff helped us find a space. The hotel is about 3 kilometers from city centre but there are buses nearby and you can also walk along the river to the city, a beautiful walk. Turku castle is right next door.

« Decent priced high quality hotel near Turku city center »

This hotel is in nice area near harbour, and one can easily hop on or hop off from the cruise or take a morning or evening boat to Sweden. Hotel is in center point of transportation, You can access to train or bus which are just around the corner. Hotel is not expensive and has excellent services such as great a la carte restaurant including lunch buffet and great breakfast. This can be used just for holiday as well, because the old Turku castle is around the corner,

« Staff with bad attitude »

Hotel itself is basic and perfect if you arrive or depart by ferry, both Silja and Viking terminals are really next door. Breakfast is also basic and is good for the price. What surprised us is staff at the front desk. We arrived around dinner time and wanted to have a meal so we asked during checkin if there are any cafes or restaurants in the area. We were told that the only place to eat in the area is hotel bar. We accepted it and unfortunately had a meal in the hotel. We should have been more curious and check trip advisor. In fact on our way back we arrived by ferry and had some time to kill in the port and discovered nice pub with decent food right opposite hotel and there was also Asian food place nearby. I was unpleasantly surprised Best western hotel staff lie to customers to make them eat in their restaurant. By the way food in best western for dinner wasn't good either.

« Fear price for a good bed »

Easy going on hotel. Not even trying to be fancy and luxury. Good beds with different pillows. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. will use this hotel again when around. Maybe a litlle too far from city, but simle roud there.

    « It's OK for ferry travelers »

The Best Western Sea Port Hotel is clean and tidy. It's located just by the check in points of both Viking Line ferry and Silja Line which makes it perfect for the ferry travelers. The Castle is also in a close vicinity. The rooms are pretty basic though, they are a bit tired and need renovation. However some rooms are pretty good and newly renovated, but check it in advance. The breakfast was quite good, cheese, sausages, meatballs, eggs, cereals, yogurts, everything was good , except from juice. The dinner was also good. The staff members at both breakfast and dinner were super friendly. However the room service was odd, they basically didn't do anything, except lightly cleaning the bathroom. The stroll towards the city from the hotel is long, around 45-60 minutes, depending on your pace, but pleasant , go by the river boulevard. Overall it's fine, but nothing very special. Stay here for ferry travel as it will save your time in the morning, but for city break choose more central location.

« A nice hotel with modern facilities in the harbour »

I stayed in this hotel 3 nights. This one is a converted harbour office house. The rooms are located on 1st floor. The harbour and Turku castle are in the vicinity of the hotel. The city centre is possible to reach by a bus or even walk - about 40 min., if you don't mind the distance. The breakfast is served in the restaurant on the ground floor and the choice is very good.

    « Warm welcome »

This is a nice hotel next to seaport. Stayed only for one night. Arriving to hotel, we got nice warm welcome. Staff was friendly. Hotel room was old but clean. Bed was comfortable. There was a minibar in the room but no air condition. Hotel has a restaurant, which is also nice, if you don't want to go to the city. Breakfast was quite normal, but tasty. Recommended for short stop.

« Conveniently located hotel for Ferry travellers »

Nice, Clean no-nonsense hotel. Location was ideal for ferry travel early in the morning. Otherwise the hotel is a bit far from the centre of town. Accessibility for a wheelchair user was better than average.

« Doesn't look much from the outside but pleasantly surprised »

I booked this hotel for the reasonable price and convenience of stepping off the ferry after the Apocalyptica Cruise and straight into bed. The day before we had walked past and I was a bit unsure after seeing the building about what to expect. On walking in I was quite surprised. It was nice and open and had its own cafe/bar area. The reception area was clean and tidy and welcoming. Our room was even better. Two very comfy beds, wicker chairs, a dressing table, coffee machine (I wish we'd had chance to try it) and a lovely bathroom. I'm so sad that we didn't get longer in this room as it was so welcome and cosy after travelling so much. Breakfast was included and it was a fantastic buffet of cereal, fruit, hot and cold meats, eggs, cheese, breads, coffee, tea, juice etc. Even better it was served from 6am so we had time to fill up before our train at 8am. I wish so much we had stayed here the night before the cruise instead of another Turku hotel. Highly recommended.

    « Great time »

The hotel is quite comfortable. My bedroom was huge. the breakfast was delicious and their restaurant offers a lot of dishes and beers at all times. It is not so close to the center but the bus number 1 may take you there in 10 minutes for €3. You may also go by yourself walking by the riverside. It will take 2 hours if you enjoy to observe quiet beautiful views. :-))

« BW Seatport Hotel Turku Finland »

Enjoyed our stay there. Hotel was clean. If relying on public transportation, we suggest that you buy a day ticket when getting on the bus from the train station that goes to market square, then take # 1 bus to the hotel. then travel back to market square for sight seeing. We walked from train station with our luggage to the hotel..the 20 min walk was over an hour for us cuz we had luggage and it was quite warm. the walk along the river is nice.

    « Good »

This hotel in Turku has the ideale location for when you want to travel futher by boat. The check in for Vikingline is 20 meters away from here! The hotel is nice and has a sauna. (Men and woman separated)

    « Atmospheric Building »

Stayed at the Seaport just 1 night, fantastic building (used to be a warehouse) brilliantly restored. Situated between Viking and Siljia ferry terminals. Short walk to town (15/20 mins) along the Harbour front, with plenty to see along the way. There are buses. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and accommodating.

« Located in the harbour »

We stayed at this Hotel as we we're leaving Turku with the morning ship. Hotel is located across the street from Viking terminal and that was perfect to us. Friendly staff in the reception and everything went smoothly. A bit far to walk to city centre, but the local bus (number 1) stayed right outside the hotel.

« Decent hotel in Finland »

If You are planning the cruise to Stockholm, this is ideal stopover. Hotel is near the Turku City center, almost as a walking distance. If You do not walk You can always take a bus with 3 euros. Hotel is beside the harbour and beside an old Turku castle and lots of things to see. Hotel stay is comfortable, area is quiet and there is no traffic, except the cruise line which is coming every morning and evening. However, we were not disturbed by little engine noise, but if You do not want to hear it at 7-9 am, You can ask to stay other side of the hotel.

    « Nice hotel. »

Everything that you need to survive business trip. Nothing to complain and nothing to admire. It's Finland, but in Western Europe this standard of hotel would cost around 70 € per night. Decision is always up to you. Regards G.

« Nice Rooms, reasonable free parking »

The Hotel is located directly at the seaports for Ferrys. The interior is individual with nice amenties for kids. Rooms are good and very clean. Breakfast was included good, but nothing special. Internet and parking free of charge.

    « Rauhallinen hotelli satamassa »

Location is right next to the cruise terminals. Rooms are quite basic and a bit old fashioned but tidy, beds are comfortable. Nice classic breakfast. A peaceful surroundings. Friendly staff. Recommended if you like a good night sleep before a cruise. Convenient bus connection to the city center.
