    « NICE GOOD EXPERIENCE »

Nice and welcoming staff. Experienced good service and the room quality was good. Close to Airport but very good walls sound insulation. Price of room was decent and good. Has gym and nice pool and seating areas, Overall very satisfied.

    « Great staff »

Nice room, but the staff really made the place stand out, Front desk staff Cesar and John Wayne immediately responded to any issue I brought them. The man working the Landing Zone on Wednesday night worked his butt off and was always pleasant and polite. Maggie and Luz were supremely friendly and helpful while working in the breakfast area. It was positive an experience as any I have ever had a motel.

    « Top Hotel »

Excellent value. Price reasonable. Hotel beautiful. Complimentary hot breakfast top notch. Close to Walmart and eateries. We stayed there to visit the Sonoran Desert Museum which was an easy 30 min drive away. Highly recommended.

    « Great Staff! »

Location - great! Breakfast - really great!! Staff - also really great!! This is an older hotel in need of some updates, but the key to their current strength across the board is their staff. Claudia helped us at the desk from the outset. We had booked 3rd party and she corrected the error made in the booking without charge. The breakfast staff and room service folks were also first class. The courtyard was also so very well kept and enjoyable! (Please fill the pool a little earlier before Spring Break next year though.) If you are looking for an affordable and pleasant family experience, this is a great place. If you have to have the best of amenities, you may want to pay more and go elsewhere.

    « Average »

Stayed here one night as we had an early morning flight. Price was good as we are Best Western members. Disappointed in the bed, mattress was way too soft. There is an outdoor pool but it is unseated; even in the Arizona heat too cold to swim in during April. But room was clean and check in staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't have a chance to eat the complimentary breakfast as we had to take the 5:00 a.m. Shuttle. Which is free, another reason to stay there.

    5
« Convenient location and nice hotel »

Easy access to family and friends on the East side while being close to airport and various restaurants. Nice, clean rooms, friendly service and nice variety of breakfast items. The pool and exercise rooms were nice. Like how Claudia looked to see if I was eligible for a discount and accommodated our physical difficulties.

« Average at its best »

The location is great. We were a half mile from the airport. The daily breakfast was very good . The bartender was very friendly, working alone with quite a few customers, but efficient. Everything else about the place is mediocre. We had to ask twice for our check-out bill to be placed under our door, needed because we had an early morning flight. Their excuse is that someone called in sick. I came home with seven red, itchy bumps on my legs (did not see bugs, but??) . The place is very dated, dark, and not particularly inviting. However, it served its purpose....a place to sleep.

« Satisfied and will use again while in the Old Pueblo. »

Pleasant experience and overall satisfied. Definitely will stay there again. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cesar and the front desk is a pleasant gentleman and make your check in easy. Great breakfast.

    « Another enjoyable stay »

A repeat visit to this hotel was a pleasure. Staff were helpful & smiling. Maintenance man Kevin went above & beyond. Front desk Cesar was knowledgeable & helpful. Breakfast is definitely the ?plus'. Pool /courtyard is a wonderful area to unwind. Some room furnishings/carpeting could use updating.

    4
    « Checking in »

The front desk staff is the worse. Caesar the front desk clerk needs to be retrained if he is going to work for B/W or in the service service industry. The hotel is nice but Room 106 the bathroom shower tile (overhead) is stained and dark from a leak.

« Great hotel - but need to work on customer service! »

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights last year at this time and loved it! So, did the same this year but was disappointed. Booked A King Suite on BW website and when we arrived they had our reservation wrong and had us in a regular room and said that they were completely booked for the week and couldn't accommodate our reservation. Thankfully there was a guest behind us who said they were checking out in the morning from a King suite. So we had to stay in a regular room the first night and then had to move in the morning. Not very convenient and the front desk staff said it is better to call direct to book than to book online? That makes no sense. They were not very friendly either. Also heard from many others that their reservations were mixed as well. The breakfast was the same old menu for 7 days in a row (besides a change in meat). No pancakes - as stated on their overview. Bar/restaurant is decent - but they are understaffed. Too bad because the hotel is beautiful and comfortable!

« Only if you need to be close to the airport »

Didn't have the room I requested when I checked in. Instead, I was given a room configured for handicap. When I return to the hotel after 4:00 pm, I had to ask for housekeeping to clean and make-up the room, which meant waiting around a couple of hours until they were able to get to it.

    3
« Decent but not the best!! »

Decent stay !! staff was awesome!! The staff were great!! They needed to keep up on gym towels water and cleaning wipes!! Halls needed to be vacuumed!! Rooms were decent beds comfortable. Kitchen staff were fantastic!! It was an ok stay wished they would keep up on the small stuff!! Bathrooms out of paper towels, gym out of stuff, not as great as I wished it would be especially for what we payed!!

    « Not what I expected »

This place had high reviews, so I guess I expected too much. The problems started at check-in when they wouldn't give us the military rate that we had booked due to my son (who is the one serving, and who was in our party and the main person on the booking) not being 21. Nowhere on their site or booking info did it state anything about the minimum age, even under their hotel policies. We were informed that it would be ?illegal? to give us that rate, since in the state of Arizona it is hotel policy (at any hotel) to not rent to anyone under 21. Being from MN, how were we to know this, especially since it was nowhere to be found on their site? So instead of being charged $93/night we had reserved, we were going to be charged $179/nt. After speaking with the manager, they still would not honor the military rate, but did discount us down to $129/nt for a lesser type of room. (The first night in a room with only one bed, so my son would've had to use a rollaway if he hadn't decided to return to his dorm.) Also we had issues with the lock on the door (#109) with our keys not working. My main complaint is with the Best Western corporation for not posting the minimum age in an easy to find location on their site. The girls were only working with the rules they had, and not being given much flexibility, did what they could to accommodate. Also the rooms had a funny smell, but hotel was sparkling clean, despite being older, and the girls running breakfast (which was very good) were super sweet and on top of things. Would choose to book elsewhere next time.

« Great service. Old hotel. »

This is a good hotel if you need to layover near the airport. The desk staff are great and housekeeping is accommodating. The courtyard grounds are a nice place to hang out, and the pool and Jacuzzi are sparkling clean. The main thing to know about this hotel is that it is old. Probably built 30-40 years ago. There is no elevator and all the finishes are a bit worn, however it is very clean and well kept. It is best to stay on the second floor as it is more quiet than the first. There are not a lot of good restaurants near by at all; check out one of the local street vendor taco trucks for a good authentic Mexican burrito.

    « Quick Business Trip »

I made a quick business trip to Tucson to conduct training and this is one of the locations that our business had as one of the recommended locations. When I checked in I realized I had forgotten my business credit card at home but was able to have a picture sent of the front and back to present as evidence that I was the owner with the card. After explaining to the young man at the front desk he was very helpful and provided other options regarding my credit card. He was very professional and helpful. The room had a kind bed, refrig, conformable pillows and was clean. It breakfast had plenty of fresh scramble eggs, beacon was not over cooked, and potatoes, and plenty of other breakfast items. The overall staff of the hotel were very nice and professional. I will definitely return to this hotel.

    1
« Bad Service, taking advantage of customers »

I made a reservation at this hotel, but when entering the payment information it kicked me back to an earlier page, and in doing so, also changed the date of my stay to an earlier date. When I immediately asked them to modify to the original date, they refused and told me to just make a second reservation. So, they keep the entire purchase price of my stay on a day when I am not in town.

    4
    « Clean and quiet »

I stayed here one night prior to my flight. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. They had a convenient shuttle to the airport. I did not try the free breakfast. The front desk was very friendly. I will definitely stay here prior to my flight home when visiting Tucson. I booked through Tripadvisor and saved money.

    3
« Good hotel; don't eat dinner there »

Chose this hotel because it was central to the Tucson Bead Show venues. It was a great location. Nice stay, however the dinner in the bar was very disappointing. According to the waiter all the beer taps were frozen and bar drinks were limited. Menu selection was small, service slow, but overpriced food was ok. Full steam table US and Asian breakfasts were included and very good. Do not sit on cushions in booths; very painful.

    2
    « Wouldn't stay again »

There were only two luggage carts and neither were available, one was being used by hotel staff to stock a machine with sodas and water. This is a huge hotel and I was told to park in the back to be closer to the entrance to my room on the second floor. I was told I could just take my luggage up the steps! There is only one elevator at the front of the hotel. I have never walked so far from an elevator to get to my room. The lobby looks nice but the hallways are very dimly light making it look dingy. There was some mold on the caulking in my shower and the shower curtain had a weird brown stain. The towels are small and dingy. There is a free breakfast buffet but if you have an early flight you'll probably miss it, it starts at 6:00 a.m. The shuttle driver was very friendly and accommodating.

« Definitely not the stay I anticipated »

This was a one night stay for business. I checked in late that night. I walked through the halls to my room which was poorly lit and smelled dingy with dusty with carpet that has to have been there since the 80's.

    « Excellent Staff »

We checked in on Saturday afternoon and dealt mainly with Cesar, he was courteous and always had a smile on his face. Rooms were a nice size. Lobby was well kept. Breakfast was basic, but hot, I missed the biscuits and sausage that I've has at other hotels.

    4
    « Good choice »

Booked for 3 nights and wound up staying for 5 due to family member being hospitalized. Staff was more than pleasant and accommodating. Facility is clean but not the newest. Handicapped showers aren't. Just putting bars in the tub and a portable shower chair in the room doesn't really cut it if you need to use a wheelchair. OK for us. Bed was actually comfortable but linens need improving. Staff was so sweet that they made up for all.

« Great Value in a Convenient Location »

I decided to stay here the night before a very early airline flight departure and take advantage of parking my car here while I was on vacation. The total cost was not much more then had I parked at an airport lot for the same time. When I checked in I asked for a quiet room toward the back of the hotel away from the traffic noise and with NO adjoining door. The front desk check in person was able to offer a room that met every single one of my requests. I was very impressed! He did not seem at all put out by anything. All the time he did this with a smile on his face! I was wowed by the customer service. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel is. The interior courtyard with a pool looked like it wold be nice to take advantage of. Even tho the hotel was close to the airport, it was very quiet. The room was quite comfortable. I am just sorry I could not have stayed longer to check it out a bit more thoroughly. We had to leave before breakfast, but the front desk did offer us a sack to go with a bottle of water, granola bar and a piece of fruit. The shuttle to the airport terminal is on request so no worry about getting to the airport on time. Great price for a nice peaceful nights sleep with Great service.

    5
    « Friendly Staff »

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights on vacation. It's only a minute's drive from the airport. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service, which is quite convenient. The complimentary breakfast has enough varieties to make most satisfied. For early morning departures, you could get a Grab and Go bag, containing a snack bar, an apple, and a bottle of water. The bed is comfy, too.

    « Stayed 3 nights - »

First the good - The staff here (particularly the breakfast staff) are very friendly and helpful. This hotel had perhaps the best free breakfast of any hotel I have visited. Now the not so good - Our room (although clean) was 'musty' smelling and had dirty soiled carpets. The hotel itself seems to be in need of a little renovation.

    « traveling over 5 days »

Brought our dog and this hotel was so accommodating in every category. We had hotels on our trip that we paid more for and got less service. We will stay at Best Western in the future on our travels. We really liked the Best Western Plus. Awesome!

    1
« DO NOT STAY HERE! »

This place is dank, and dark!! Old carpet & tile are smelly, with every light & lamp on - it's still dark.. The hallways are dark, and needed vacuuming, black hairs in the shower, room service tray with food still On it left in hallway for 12 hours! Poorly lit parking, our vehicle was broken into by smashing the window out! Stay away from this place.

    « Awesome stay »

We decided to stay here while attending the Arizona Bowl game supporting our NMSU Aggie football team. We stayed in one of the suites and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms were top notch. The room had all the amenities such as two televisions, a mini fridge, microwave, a safe for personal belongings and WI FI access. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows with different firmness. The hotel had a beautiful courtyard witch included an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was hot and delicious (scrambled eggs bacon yogurt toast).

This is very nice and clean hotel. We've stayed on several occassions and have always enjoyed our stays. It is very family oriented. I highly recommend this hotel for it has a great staff and is very clean.

    « Best place inTucson »

Not only was the decor and service impeccable, but the price was amazing for so much luxury. Convenient location. And didn't hear any airport noise overnight at all. Love the room amenities like coffee, frig, microwave, etc.

« Reasonable, Convenient Location and Excellent Accomodations! »

If you are looking for a place to stay in Tucson area, this is convenient to interstates and quiet and the best bang for your buck. Spacious and updated rooms and friendly staff. Excellent complimentary breakfast and cookies available 24/7!

    « Great Stay! »

Enjoyable check-in and out. Very nice room; well appointed. Great for a one-night stay. Absolutely no problem with the shuttle. I dropped off my rental and they were there to pick me up right away. In the morning, the shuttle driver was there early to get me on my way. Kudos to Star for the swift check-in, and the wonderful woman (whose name I didn't catch) for the very easy check-out. The Christmas decorations were very nice.

    « Very Pleased! »

Including tax it was approximately $80 a night. The room was clean and quite nice. Their bar is very nice. They have a very quick shuttle to airport. I would stay there again. Great value! Very Pleased!

« Good Value & Excellent Customer Care »

We moved from another hotel in the area where the quality of service and accommodations were not up to par. We were very pleased with our overall experience in this hotel. Good customer care, room cleanliness, and functional equipment are very important to us and we were not disappointed with this hotel.

    5
    « Great Stay »

loved the place, came over to visit some friends, lots of breakfast choices, i would recommend this place to anyone, customer service is awesome, the room was very clean as well thanks everybody for making our stay so confortable.

« A Refreashing Place to Stay-A Peaceful Desert Oasis »

We love this hotel! When we are in Tucson this is the place we call home and this is the place we always return to on our travels. Even though the hotel is near the airport (walking distance) we always drive here. It is easy to get to and not far off the freeway. It is also centrally located to everything we like to do (hiking, attractions, etc.). It is a very quiet area and away from the craziness of the city but an easy drive to the city. The hotel itself is really nice. Clean and up to date with all the amenities one would need. There is a large central courtyard which is beautiful and very peaceful. A nice wandering pathway through grass, fruit trees, a pool, spa, and covered sitting areas. A real oasis in the desert. Breakfast at the hotel is wonderful and the breakfast staff could not be nicer or more helpful! I can't say enough good about the breakfast. There are several places to eat near the hotel and the Schlotzsky's near the hotel is delicious and the staff friendly. Excellent, excellent value for your hard earned buck. We have stayed here many times and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area or anyone traveling through for a night... We will return soon that is a given...

« Nice place to stay »

Everyone was very friendly. The room was clean, we had a suite for the price of a room. I'm super picky about hotel rooms and this one passed my test. The breakfast was good. The pool area was beautiful and well maintained. Any request we made (extra pillows, towels, blankets) was honored without question. We stayed for a week. Very quiet room, upstairs away from the elevators. Will stay again when we come back to Tucson.

    3
« TUS Best Western Airport »

Pretty average all the way around. For the price I'd stay at the nearby options as they are close in price and nicer. The breakfast, while free, wasn't good. The only option for vegan folk were the fruits that were under ripe.

    5
« great and friendly place-our new place to stay »

join the club for free upgrades, very clean and great breakfast. friendly people, not the basic traveler motel by the airport, will definitely stay here when in town, had a suite for the price of a room

    « Great time. »

It was easy to check in, everyone that at the counter was friendly and helpful. It was an overall great stay. I enjoyed the room and was able to relax. The breakfast was set up very nice and the food was great.

« Great Stay in Beautiful Tucson »

This was a great stay at the Best Western Plus. Upon arrival it doesn't look like much but the interior was really nice and super clean and shiny. Check in was smooth, and the front desk agent gave us a little snack and water bottle for our time as she was taking a bit long to assist another guest. Our room was clean and the AC was cold and on. The king size bed was comfortable, the linen and pillows made for a wonderful and restful sleep. Breakfast was very good! We had sausage, scrambled eggs, hash brown, muffins, breads, waffles, hot drinks and juice. Staff was super nice. I would definitely stay here again for the price we paid compared to the other hotels nearby.

    5
    « Excellent hotel »

Clean rooms, efficient staff, great breakfast. Addeded amenity of leaving our car there for a week while we were off on a weeklong conference in Hawaii. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying near the Tucson Airport or traveling out of town.

    5
    « Would stay again! »

When I arrived, I was frazzled and very tired. The staff was understanding and kind. The desk clerk found a box for me to put in the items that wouldn't fit in my suitcase. The next morning, the desk clerk helped me tape up the box and get my luggage down to the shuttle service, which was also compassionate and excellent.

    4
« Nice room, though it smelled »

I stayed at the Airport BW for business, and loved the size of the room, plus the decor. The hotel was very nicely appointed. The only problem i had was a distinct smell in the room that reminded me of dirty socks. I got used to it, and it would come and go. Otherwise, the stay was nice.

    5
« best hotel in Tuscon »

Very clean great price, great people. the staff really cares about your stay and goes overboard to make it a great stay. you need to stay here and say Hi ! to John Wayne he takes care of the front desk and really knows what he is doing.

    « A Major Minus »

I've never been a major fan of Best Western, but when other hotels were booked up I figured the Plus version of BW may be ok for a night. The hotel website touts the fact that this hotel had been renovated recently, which had me hoping that they may finally change my opinion of the chain. Boy was I wrong. From the instant I walked in front door I knew this renovation was not what I thought. The front lobby looked old and tired, the front desk with old sellotape stuck all over it. The hotel had a funky odor and when I walked down the corridor to my room, the carpets were littered with food particles, some weird white pillow stuffing, and very dirty. I never took my shoes off in the room, and wore flip flops at night to walk to my bathroom for fear of standing on grime. My room with king bed seemed clean, but again the room smelled funky. I had to open the sliding door to let some fresh air in. The final straw for me was breakfast. Paper plates and plastic cutlery. I felt like I was in a Macdonalds. I'm not sure what the Plus means in the name of the hotel, but this place gets a minus from me. For $125 a night , near the airport, there has to be better than this.

    5
« First Choice on my Visits to Tucson »

Always a comfortable stay! I have been here many times and especially appreciate the friendly and helpful staff and the enclosed courtyard, filled with grass and old trees. I haven't had any problems at this hotel, except for minor ones that were immediately remedied by the staff. Dinner is available as well as breakfast and I can recommend it both as to quality and price. Some people may be bothered by the sound of aircraft in the public areas during the daytime, but I did not notice the sound in the rooms. Nights were quiet.

    3
« poor bar service, unvacuumed room »

Have stayed here before. This time was unpleasant with bar/grill experience (very small pours) and our suite was not vacuumed. The front desk staff were very nice and welcoming. The cleaning staff, however, was not up to standard.

    5
« Top Notch Facility and Staff »

I found this to be one of the most pleasant stays I've ever had. The facility and staff were far and above what I expected. I had some special needs and the staff immediately found the answers, and saw to it my needs were met. I can honestly say that in the future I will plan my Tucson trips around the availability of this hotel when possible.

  • 5
    « Happy Business traveller »

Very satisfied with this hotel. Once the restaurant upgrades the menu, the experience will only get better. This has become my home away from home. The staff wants to insure your stay is great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

    « Fall vacation »

We have been waiting for a year to drive out West to see the beautiful country. Staying at the Best Western motels has been a joy this year. So clean and spacious. They have a great staff that works there. The free breakfast is very good and have a Great variety. Wouldn't stay anywhere else

« Not the fanciest Best Western, but okay for one night before flight »

We generally enjoy Best Western so we selected this property for a one night stay before our flight. We also left our car at the hotel while we were gone which worked out well. First impression of the hotel was positive. They have a beautiful lobby area. When we got to the room, we were a little disappointed. It felt a little shabby. The towels in the bathroom were like small rags and there were only 2 of each. This seemed chintzy... I think many couples would use more than that since many women like a towel to dry off from the shower and a 2nd towel for their wet hair. We did get a good night's sleep which is the most important thing. We did set an alarm on our phones but requested a wake-up call from the front desk as a back up. That wake-up call never came. When we mentioned it to the front desk person she said "I asked him if he made the call and he said he did". Uhm, okay. Breakfast was the average Best Western selection. The breakfast area was spacious and the attendant was super friendly. The tip jar was prominently placed so you could not miss it. When we returned from our trip we called the hotel for the airport shuttle to pick us up. We were told that the shuttle was out of the immediate area taking a hotel guest to dinner. When I pressed the hotel rep about how long we would need to wait, he then offered to call a nearby hotel shuttle to pick us up. We appreciated that, but it was only offered after we pressed. Overall, an ok stay but we are trying a nearby hotel on our next airport trip.

    « Relaxing »

Very good I loved everything about this hotel breakfast is awesome, everybody that works here is so friendly. I also loved the pool area in the Jacuzzi, I am definitely staying here again in the future.

    2
    « Not As Advertised! »

This property is a perfect example of false advertising. The lobby and common areas are up to date but the hallways and guest rooms leave a lot to be desired. Furniture was old, the window a/c unit was old, inefficient and loud. The suspended ceiling in the bathroom had big brown stains on it. Very disappointed in paying $170/night for this dump!

    5
« Would stay here again »

Very nice property with a staff that provides a friendly environment. Everyone I met from front desk, cleaning staff and breakfast personnel was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The property is easy to get to and very clean. The King suite I had was two rooms with two baths and was really nice. The only thing missing was an in-room microwave, but one was available in the lobby area. There is plenty of hot water and sink and shower drains all work as designed. The breakfast area is spacious and the hot/col breakfast items provide a satisfying variety. I look forward to another opportunity to stay here again.

« Beyond the call of duty! »

Normally i don't write reviews because, if you are like me, you don't believe everything you read so why participate in reviews. But I'm going to write my first review because you need to know the staff at this Best Western couldn't have been more professional and caring than they exhibited with me. I had a crisis and lost my daily notebook. You know, the one that tells you what you need to do each day for each client?! Not only did the staff find it but they didn't wait for the US Postal to return it to me. Rather they copied each page, scanned them and emailed it to me within hours of contacting them. I didn't miss a beat for work and i'm sure many additional emergencies were averted. you've all had this feeling of total panic before and you know what it means for someone to help it go away. I am so grateful to the Staff and recommend anyone considering booking here to stop thinking and do it. You won't regret it and you'll enjoy the hospitality, cleanliness and smiles while away from home. And hopefully you won't need their crisis management skills.

Amazing level of service throughout this hotel. Caring, smiling and serviceable staff 24/7 and in all departments. I can only describe it as small piece of heaven at the end of a hard day of work. The staff are like angels, the room was like a sanctuary, and the bed was like a cloud. Just a great experience at exceptional value. Congratulations to this BW Team!

    « Great Stay »

Very good hotel for the price. Other than a noisy toilet flush valve everything else was very good. Great location and amenities. Would recommend to others. Good Breakfast and hotel restaurant. Provided a veteran discount.

« great stay for the price »

The restaurant was under renovations. So we had to eat in the bar and the bar was nice. Food was good. Bed was very comfortably. Desk clerk was friendly, the maid in the hallway was friendly, the bartender was friendly. All employees we encountered were courteous.

« Very pleasant vacation hotel »

Excellent hotel for a leisurely vacation stay! Very clean and comfortable with good amenities (courtyard and pool, restaurant for dinner and lounge, good breakfast, guest laundry facility). Convenient location for access to Tucson attractions and airport. All hotel staff are very friendly and professional. These are the things that make for a pleasant vacation stay for us.

    « Horrible Smell »

Our room had horrible odor. Our stay was not comfortable because of the odor. We usually stay at a Bestern Western when we travel. First time we have a room with bad odor. We did enjoy the breakfast. Everything looked fresh and good.

    « Friendly Staff & Great Service! »

My Father had to bring a friend to the doctors and the Front Desk Agents made sure they had a down stairs room, clean room and made their stay a great experience! My Father loves this hotel and he will be back again soon!

« A PLACE TO LAY YOUR HEAD »

The hotel is quiet I'll give it that, but if your a senior or have walking issues, its not the best place to stay. The hotel is large, but only has one elevator. Lots of stairs late at night when it come to unpacking your car. For the money its fine but really suited more for families with young legs. Its also out from one of the major malls in the area but close to a very large casino. The airport its close by did not create any problems with noise.

« AMAZING!!!! CANT WAIT TO COME BACK »

I love this hotel so much, the staff is so nice and the housekeeping was so friendly, the rooms are very pretty and for cheap. The free breakfast was very good. The courtyard was very beautiful and they have orange trees.

Elizabeth, Sandra, Rebecca, Ceasar, Paul and John Wayne provided an excellent guest service. They and other staff members were very friendly and service oriented. I highly commend al of the staff at the hotel including the Front Office Manager who recognized the importance and value of the staff.

    « Great Hotel & Customer Care!!! »

We've stayed here for 2 of our Annual Women's Conferences. This March excelled because of Samantha Brown! She loves her job and gave us personalized care. She was very easy to work with during the planning purpose. She even made me very comfortable since I have a Visual impairment. The older lady who assisted me in the Dining room was super GREAT! I wish I could remember her name.:( Front Desk Staff was all around anazing. I addressed some minor Housekeeping issues with thr Housekeeping Supervisor and I believe she took vare of it right away. I still give this BW pa 5***** . If we end up needing a Hotel this next March, we will definitely Book it *directly* woth Samantha Brown! Book direct!!!

    « Family visit »

Good place as we come there every year. It varies as to time of year. However, it seems to be steady in its operation and quality. We have three Chihuahuas and they are always welcome as they are very obedient and house trained. Zorro walks down the hallway as thou he owns the place. We have been here so often that he thinks its another home of ours. I would recommend this spot to anyone.

« Business Trip That Exceeded My Expectations »

This was a first time business trip at this location. I was impressed with the courteous and caring staff at check in and check out. I also had a clean and comfortable room. The restaurant and bar had terrific food and service. Definitely will return.

« Excellent place to stay »

This hotel was great as always. We stay here with the family many times a year and it is truly a home away from home. The staff always go out of there way to accommodate and the hotel is beautiful! Breakfast is excellent! Would highly recommend and will stay again soon!

    « Excellent Customer service »

The staff at this Best Western location were very professional and friendly. The check-in staff were very efficient. I used the shuttle service to attend business meetings during my stay. The shuttle drivers were polite. The staff went above and beyond. my expectations. I highly recommend this location.

    « Very Reasonable »

Really nice HUGE horse shoe shaped Hotel. We almost got lost looking for our room, then again, looking for the lobby. We were staying to visit Saguaro National Park and got such a good rate it was basically two nights for the price of one. GREAT value! Nice comfortable room, Comfortable beds. WiFi was so so, they have a somewhat confusing sequence but once on, it was ok. Not a great dinner from the restaurant, but the free breakfast was REALLY good! Real egg's and country potato's. And the girl who tends to the breakfast is super sweet! Good Hotel here, wouldn't hesitate to return if in Tucson again.

    « Nice surprize »

This hotel is very nice. The staff are very helpful and nice. We were very please with the overall stay and the upgrade to a suite as we are Diamond members , we did not see that coming and the nice bag of goodies was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay there. Exellent.

    « My Favorite Hotel »

The Best Western Plus Tucson Int'l Airport Hotel & Suites is my favorite because of the staff, decor, pool, bar (the best!), breakfast and late check-out. You really get your (small amount of) money's worth!

    5
« Awesome hotel for any price! »

The staff was friendly, courteous and professional at both check in and check out. The hotel and the amenities were outstanding. We've stayed at much more expensive hotel brands that didn't come close to the quality of this property. For the vacationer wanting to see Tucson and the surrounding area this hotel is the perfect landing spot.

    5
    « Stay here »

Great service and a very clean environment. I would recommend staying at this best western when in Tucson. Great breakfast spread and quiet comfortable rooms. Staff is always attentive to the needs of the guest.

« Close to the Tucson airport but at a super price »

Very good and clean Best Western not so far from the airport and the Pima museum. Super spacious rooms with quiet airco. Fridge, coffee machine and microwave in the room. Well working wifi. Super friendly people at the reception giving a fast and accurate check in and check out. Very nice interior and free coffee available in the lobby. Very good hot breakfast included and regularly filled up. Plenty of free parking available.

    5
    « Great stay »

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and it was excellent. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The staff in the dining room was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast offered lots of choices and was great. I am glad that the Best Western brand now seems to offer a good value for very reasonable cost. It was that way back in May in Pigeon Forge also. I will seek out Best Westerns first in the future.

    « Bad experience »

This was a weird experience. We were only staying one night. Check in was fluent and at the room our wifi wasnt working. I contacted the front desk with the roomphone about the problem. First thing this young lady says is its probably my "firewall" and it should be working, if not we should come to the lobby. We had 3 devices and none of them could connect. My gf then went to the lobby to adres the problem. A tired "sigh" she gets from the lobby and she gave us an instructioncard with the phone number of the provider of this motel. This was disturbing. So iself went to the front desk and thankfully there was a guy who could help us reset the router. He was verry kind. The toilet wasnt flushing after 1 use. Im kinda the handyman and appearabtly the floater got stuck after 5 minutes of looking. The room was moisty and smelled like piss. We booked via booking.com for certain price and afterwards we get billed 4 dollar more for bed taks? Also there were black hairs on the pillows and towels. This is want you dont want after a long day of driving.

« Friendly Staff make your stay at Best Western comfortable »

If it werent for the staff at best western hotel, my son and I would not have felt comfortable staying overnight. We were comfortable and we got to relax and enjoy the hotel without feeling like we weren't welcomed. The staff welcomed us and got us checked in within a matter of minutes. It was that quick and easy. I enjoyed the pool and the bed was very comfortable as well as our room. Everything about the stay at best western was perfect. Great Staff! I would stay at best western every time I go to Tucson. The room rate was very Reasonable for what we got in return.

« Clean comfortable room and very friendly service »

Clean, save, and comfortable room with very friendly service, Good for both leisure and business stay, Location is nest to airport and many restaurants around area. Breakfast is well prepared compared with other same class of hotel.

    « Excellent service »

Very helpful, caring and friendly staff. Definitely will stay at again. Nice to have in room safe. Having covered parking was extremely nice to have. Had to travel a ways to have a bit better choice of food to eat but wasn't bad.

« Preferred stay for me in Tucson »

Stay here often due to closeness to the Tucson VA Hospital due to early appointments. Convenient to many attractions in Tucson area. Hotel clean, staff cleaning often. Breakfast provided adequate and then some. Being next to airport I expected more noise but it was fairly quiet.

    « Worth Missing »

Looks great on the outside. Do not be fooled. If you have pets the place you on the very far reaches of the property where you cannot get internet. Internet is required for my work. Property is very dated.

    5
    « Pleasant »

This is the best place to stay for a night before an early flight or business meeting. It is a reasonable price, secure, and quiet enough to relax. The water infused with orange slices is a nice, refreshing treat on a hot day in lieu of coffee.

    5
    « Frequent flyer »

I often have early flights out of Tucson airport. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean. I've never had the breakfast because I'm gone before it opens. I do enjoy the pool and hot tub...especially the hot tub. They do have a shuttle service that is prompt. I highly recommend this hotel.

« Surprised at Poor Condition »

There is no elevator at the rear of the property forcing handicapped to traverse the entire property to get to a room at the back of the building. The hallways were over 85 degrees for some reason. Our room air conditioner was set at 61 degrees and finally cooled the room down by the third day we were there. The included food is poor quality. Instead of an ice machine, there was a pepsi soda machine. I mean, really!? However, room was clean, maid service excellent, and TV and remote worked.

    5
    « Only 1 elevator, no a.c. in corridors. »

They need more than 1 elevator for the whole place. The complementary breakfast was very good, complete with eggs, sausage, waffles etc. However the restaurant at night was not good at all. We had the nachos appetizer and the tortilla chips were so over fried they could break your teeth. The cheese was cold and the gr beef was cold. We could not eat it. Sent it back. The room was nice and clean. Beds were ok for pillowtop just really high to jump into if your a short person like me. The lack of more elevators and no a.c. in the corridors is what gave it the 4 rating. I wanted to give it a 3.5 rating. In summer you need a.c.!

    « Just ok »

Booked this hotel while working in the Tucson area, room was ok but kinda old and kinda smokie , that hotel needs to be updated , but well here in this case you get what you pay, and that is not bad ,,

    « Undesirable stay! »

Rude front desk attendant!!! No remote and no towels in the bathroom. The front desk attendant acted inconvenienced by my request. Although I was the one inconvenienced. I would never go back to this hotel again!

« Best hotel stay on my vacation. »

I'm a diamond elite member with best western rewards, and went on a 6 day driving trip with my wife using rewards points. This hotel was by far the best on our whole trip. Everything about this place is top of the line. The Internet was weak but with the quality of the staff, amenities, and the hotel itself. I will definitely stay here again, and suggest this Best Western To all my business traveler friends. This is the first survey I've filled out since becoming a rewards member, but am happy to do so. Regards.

    5
    « Best one yet! »

Property and room was very clean. No noise from the airport. Laundry service available. Bar on property also. Front desk associates Sandra and Marie were AWESOME!! Very polite and helpful. Will stay here for sure when business press me in Tucson.

    « Enjoyed Our Stay! »

The room was clean, the employees were very helpful and nice, the complimentary breakfast was outstanding! We have stayed here before, and were sorry they did not have a dining room open in the evening, but now they have added this. We like to come back, eat at the hotel, and take the family in the pool. The pool and hot tub were very good as well. No complaints!

    5
    « Nice hotel »

This hotel was better than expected. The pool and grounds were nice. The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast choices were good. The cleanliness of the bathroom floor needed sweeping.

    5
    « Unexpected stay »

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Only stayed one night but glad I chose this hotel. Free breakfast hot with good selection. Disappointed that oatmeal was dry packets. I like the real unprocessed cereal. Staff topnotch. Made my "emergency" landing a great experience. Only disappointment was only available ice machine on my floor was a long way from my room. Needed another half way. My room 217 and ice machine near 280.

    « Not What I Expected »

Best Western Plus is a brand that I am learning to trust. They seem to be rebranding their name. We needed a cheap room by the airport in order to make my 6 am flight. I was hesitant about the room, but after arriving to the lobby, we knew they cared about their hotel. Our stay exceeded our expectations. The hotel was very clean and the price was very reasonable. Not one complaint do I have!

    5
    « Exceptional - Overall great value »

Conveniently located close to the airport but very competitive in price. Nicely maintained exterior and pool courtyard make it a very pleasant environment. Good, caring, serviceable staff; clean rooms; good breakfast; great value!

    4
    « Good Experience »

Updated room décor. Excellent reception and service resolutions except for Wi Fi. Unable to connect WiFi in room. Very inconvenient. Had to go down to the lobby. Had problems with remote connectivity for television. Food was excellent for breakfast. Had chocolate chip cookies upon arrival. Flavored water available. Staff very attentive to requests. Had security guard at night. Lighter colored room décor would be more inviting. Microwave is the room would have been nice. Overall a very good experience.

    « Standard fare »

Stayed for 4 nights as bade to visit Tucson local area... The first and real positive is that the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to anywhere in a 5 miles locality- this includes the Pima Air Museum which save a days car hire.. nice touch The rooms were fine I had a twin queen, coffee making no facilities in room and very comfortable, but the place could do with some modernisation in places. Breakfast was a buffet affair but strangely on paper plates with plastic cutlery ??!!.. come on people. Overall satisfactory, probably a 3 star rating based on my experience of similar hotels, but very convenient for the airport, and the staff were helpful and very personable.. I guess I'd use it again if I were to repeat my trip.

    5
    « A stress-free stay »

We needed a nice, low-cost hotel for 3 adults for a Univ of Arizona graduation. We were willing to drive the 15-20 minutes between this hotel and the campus for the right hotel. The rooms were standard and quite acceptable. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices; we ate both inside and out on the patio. My wife enjoyed the lemon water, refilling her water bottle several times a day! The staff were friendly, especially the cleaning ladies who cheerfully greeted us and asked if there was anything we needed. The internet connection was ok for checking email, but not so great for browsing web sites. There's no elevator to the second floor, but the stairs are nice and wide.

    3
« good hotel for a short stay »

stayed at this hotel for two weeks, rooms were clean and tidy and well air conditioned, something that is essential all year round in Tuscon. Restaurant left something to be desired in regard to menu and price, so many meals were eaten elsewhere, Several eateries are just around the corner that offer better value. Picked this hotel because it offered breakfast included in the room price, but after several days found the limited menu a bit of a turn off, as the hot meals barely changed in the two weeks we were there, so ended up skipping the hot meals

    4
    « nice »

very clean room and friendly hotel staff. It was on average 109 degrees while we were in Tucson. Pool was very inviting and nice size. Would be nice if the pool hours were from 6am-11pm instead of 8am - 10pm. Beds were very comfortable.

    5
    « very relaxing stay »

The Staff was great very helpful and accomodating. added another night stay because we did not know what to expect when we got there we were very pleased. breafast was great. pool was fun so was the Hot tub rooms are large and relaxing I will visit that location again when I head back to California

    4
« Clean, Comfortable and Convenient »

A very convenient location for flights from Tucson International Airport. It is quieter than many airport hotels regardless of room location. The staff upon arrival and departure was efficient, friendly and professional. Receptionist "Revecca" was an excellent individual to be on the front line. Her sincere welcome made us feel we were valued guests.

    3
    « Okay. »

Good location near the airport, and shuttle pickup was prompt. Restaurant food could be better and more selection is needed. Breakfast was just okay, and eating off paper plates with plastic utensils seems tacky.

« You can count on Best Western Plus »

We stayed 4 nights. The bed was very comfortable. Despite being near the airport, we heard very little airplane noise. The breakfast was included and was very good in variety and taste. The hotel is very clean and the grounds are very inviting. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

    4
« Airport hotel with large, spacious rooms »

This airport property has unusually pleasing rooms with dark wood toned interiors. Many rooms are suites; all seem to be oversized. Large, appealing breakfast selection. The cons. The hotel is at the airport, located 6-7 + miles from popular restuarants and clubs downtown and midtown. If you are leaving on an early flight; hotel shuttle does not start running until 6 AM. so forget that 6:15 AM flight. Front desk staff is quirky.

    5
    « Loved this place »

This is a extremely wonderfully place to stay. We had a suite which consisted of two bathrooms, a king size bedroom and a living room that had a sleeper sofa. There were French doors between the living room and bedroom. The courtyard is beautiful and there are orange trees on the property. The airport will not bother you as the rooms as well designed and insulated. Breakfast is hot with a great selection, seating is plentiful. The staff was helpful and gave us recommendations as to what to see. This hotel is close to Pima Air Museum.

    5
« Review of Best Western at Tucson International Airport »

Hotel is economical, well run, and clean. It suits my needs when I have early flights or will be returning home on a late flight. I live 50 miles from the airport, so it is better for me to stay near the airport than to drive there early in the morning or late at night.

    4
    « good hotel »

the room was good and clean, the staff very friendly, breakfast was very good also.... the only "complain" its that as we arrived around 10 P.M. to the hotel, i had to go to my car several times to unload all the bags and stuff... the parking lot was very dark, no lights at all... regardless of the insecurity feeling of leaving your car there, it was very annoying that i had to use the flashlight on my cellphone to watch my step and get things from the car.

    5
« Very nice people, fine hotel »

This hotel, close to the airport, is affordable and delightful. The staff was very helpful; there is a nice restaurant/bar where I could get a good meal even when arrivingh late. Comfy bed, quiet. What's not to like?

    4
    « Enjoyable extended stay »

Was here for a four night stay due to unforeseen circumstances. Positives: Staff: generally excellent and very helpful. Room: spacious and light, clean and comfortable and overlooking the inner garden area. Very quiet, too. Grounds and pool area: lush gardens attractively laid out with pathways and gazebos; well-maintained pool area. Shuttle service: again, excellent and free rides within a 5-mile radius, which, as we didn't have a car was very useful. Slight negatives: Breakfast: The chef only cooks to order at the weekend, but although this was very good - and he's a very pleasant guy - at other times food lines and coffee flasks were not replenished quickly when things ran out. Breakfast: don't like eating off disposable plates and cups and with plastic utensils. Not what I would expect from a Best Western Plus, but can see that it will cut down on kitchen staff! Restaurant: Poor choice and had run out of "vegetables" so our meal was served with coleslaw instead. On this night the single server for both restaurant and bar was run ragged, but full credit to her - she kept smiling! Misinformation: the evening receptionist told us that the restaurant would be open on the Sunday, our final night; but it wasn't. She did us a favour, really, as we walked down the road to the R & R Grill at the Sheraton and had a really excellent meal!

« Really lovely hotel with nice grounds and comfy beds »

Stayed here one night on the road. It is a little off the freeway but worth it. This particular BW is more like a hotel (as opposed to a motel) with upscale decor and even a restaurant which is open 6 days per week. We had a nice patio view of the pool. Breakfast was typical but adequate - I recommend they add bananas (for cereal). All in all a good choice.

    4
« The nicest people work here »

I rated this place with five stars not because this is a wonderful resort, but because it is worth five stars for the type of hotel it is. Every staff member with whom we interacted was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom, which is an important consideration when you are traveling with small children. The pool area was very pleasant, and the children had a great time playing in the pool. The free breakfast was amazing. Not only did it have the usual fare, but it had a steam table with scrambled eggs, potatoes and breakfast meats. In addition, there was an omelette bar where a very nice man made your omelette to order. I figured that we saved so much with breakfast for two adults and three children that the room ended up being an absolute steal.

    5
    « Great staff! »

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff from the moment I arrived to the day I left was outstanding and professional. The breakfast was great to start my day with hot eggs, sausage, and a waffle maker etc. Yogurts, milks (even soy milk ) and fruits and cereals with toppings was available and more. I used the gym which was great and empty everytime I used it. My room had a comfy bed and nice size fridge I filled with bottled water and snacks. The pool area was nice, tables to sit and eat or enjoyed your book. Just a great stay, can't say enough.

« Just what we needed »

We had a flight delay to Madrid and had to be near the airport very early next day. We were so fortunate to stay here. Nice restaurant. There are four hotels in a row on this street at this location, only full restaurant if you are walking . Great suite upgrade due to BW diamond status, and a superior quiet bedroom . shuttle leaves at five am for a four minute ride door to door.... This was a winner in every respect.

    5
    « Great Place »

I have been a frequent visitor to this hotel, and will continue to book here. This is a well maintained hotel with a caring friendly staff who obviously enjoy their jobs. The rooms are always clean and in excellent condition. There is nothing worse than seeing minor repairs being missed or done in a sub standard way, I have never witnessed this in all my stays at this hotel.

    5
« Great airport hotel at great price »

Our flight to Madrid was cancelled and we wanted to stay near the airport to catch an early flight. This hotel was priced exceptionally well, excellent bed, clean, quiet. We were upgraded to a suite which made our wait even more pleasant. Thank you Rebeca!

    5
« Nice pool, nice rooms, helpful staff, right on the airport »

Modern rooms with the exception of the bathroom. Just a small sink with no shelf to even place your toothbrush. No go! Nice pool area, friendly staff, quick WiFi, all very well maintained, complimentary coffee and water in the lobby. Breakfast starts at 6 am, offers a large variety and is served in a stylish location. Parking lot partially covered-nice on hot days.  Although the bathroom is rather military style, I still give it 5 points for the very good value for the money spent. Would come back anytime.

    5
    « Always a great value »

Best Westerns are a great value in my opinion, and the Tuscon Airport BW is probably my favorite. What stands out however are the staff there - they are truly outstanding. I have no qualms recommending this BW to anyone who wants an affordable stay and be treated really well. Paul

    5
« Very Nice, well kept property »

Checked in and was told our room was not ready so they upgraded our room.to a suite. When we first saw the hotel, we thought it was brand new. Found out by asking the desk clerk that the hotel was not brand new but was kept up to date. Beds were comfortable, room was very clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again if/when we are in the Tucson area.

« Would stay here again »

We originally planned to spend one night here and ended up extending to a second night. Everyone was very friendly and Sandra was especially helpful. Our room was very nice. The breakfast was very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

    « Great stay »

We chose this Best Western for it's location to the things we wanted to visit while in town, it was great for us. The staff was very helpful in giving us a list of places to eat. The room was very nice and it was very clean. The pool area was great as well as the hot tub. The breakfast was one of the best we have had while on this trip.

« Ignored and not welcome »

Alot I could say but I was really disapointed. Wanted to get away for a few days and I was never in Tucson so I thought I would try it out. Got a good rate at BW. The good was it is clean and has a great breakfast every morning. Beautiful pool area well kept up just wish they would of kept up my room as nice. Stayed six nights and hardly seen any housekeeping. Not once did my room get cleaned. I took out my own trash and begged the desk clerk to get towels. My do not disturb sign was out in the morning but not in the afternoon they didn't even call and see if I wanted service. Never seen anything like it. The wifi is about the worst I ever experienced at a hotel. It got very noisy on the weekend. Kids running everywhere. Oh well I won't be back to Tucson for awhile. Usually I have good luck with BW. This old vet never felt welcomed

« Excellent airport hotel, comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff »

We needed to stay at a hotel near the Tucson airport, and the Best Western Tucson Airport hotel fit our needs perfectly. Our room was pleasant and comfortable. The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful in answering our questions and accommodating our requests. Local friends came to the hotel to meet us, and there were pleasant indoor and outdoor spaces for our get-togethers. The morning hot and cold breakfast items were very good, and the dining room spotlessly clean.

    « Very pleasant stay »

I can't think of anything I'd improve from our visit. If you're traveling via the airport, this is an excellent choice, given the location and amenities. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The outside patio area is large, with a swimming pool and spa. The free breakfast is a cut above most such choices, with tasty, warm choices including eggs, potatoes, and meats. The staff keep it fresh, and, this being Arizona, there's salsa to add some flair. Very good value.

    « Older Property »

In it's heyday, this place must have been really nice. It's still good for a quick stay, and the location near the airport is great, but it is older and a little run down and in need of some refurbishing and cleaning. A good breakfast is included, the staff was friendly, and the outside pool area looked inviting - it was cold so we didn't investigate....

    « A good value »

The location is excellent. The price is fair and the property is pretty well maintained. The rooms are older and the common areas need updating but the outside pool area is really nice and the staff are great. We enjoyed our time here and will likely return this trip on our way home.

« Went to Tucson to photograph humming birds at Madera Cnyn »

Appreciated the easy access to the freeway. Apparently the windows, walls and ceiling are well insulated as we heard no noises from other people during the night. Spacious and tastefully decorated room. The fridge was handy for chilling our water for use the next day while out walking around in the heat.

    « Good location »

We stayed at this BW on our way to California so it was only an overnight stay, coming in late and leaving early. So didn't get to use any of the facilities. Overall th hotel looked nice upon arrival, lobby looked well kept, nicely decorated, and very friendly staff. The breakfast area was also nice and the food was good as well - cooked to order omelets if you want to. Parking is plenty, even with covered parking if you are staying for a while to keep your car cooler in the summer. The hallway and rooms had a cleaning chemical scent, not sure I like this too much. The room was average, bed was very comfortable, linens were of nice design but everything that was white had stains on them. The towels were extremely rough, old, and did not look white anymore; time for new towels and replace them as they get worn out. Overall this hotel is nice but not excellent, not my first choice if I had done the reservation. It is a good value for the location.

« My Favourite Tucson Hotel »

Since I discovered this Hotel it has become my Go To place to stay whenever I go to Tucson. I have recommended this location to several people and always get a thank you call back. A plus is that it's also close to the Airport.

    « WIFI »

One little problem destroyed my good impression of this hotel. Problem with WiFi in your room? This is your own problem! I real think is not! Simple restart of the rooter was needed, they gave me phone number to call IT company. This is more than funny....

« Great hotel for a great price »

I only spent one night there but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet all night. Rebecca made check in and check out fast and easy! The only downside was that I arrived at around 8:45 for breakfast and there wasn't any hot food items left, only cereal and bagels.

    5
    « Goodnight »

Stay was short but sweet. Nice room, nice bed. Quiet, except for in the morning with Air National Guard jets doing their thing. Good food. Nice, mature landscape with pet friendly lawn of considerable size.

« Nice property, lack of vending machines »

This property has had some nice updates and is perfect for staying near the airport. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good and the pool area exceptional. There are a few ice machines & a soda machine, but no snack machines. They have snacks available for purchase at the front desk, but they cost too much ($4 for a lunch size chips). We had an upgrade to a suite which had lots of room with a separate living area and a small fridge, but no microwave.

    5
« Super Staff, Super Clean, Super Stay »

This property far exceeded my expectations. I called early on a Sunday to see if I could book a room and check in early. Sandra at the front desk said she would call me back as soon as the room was ready and within the hour she called and I checked in very early. When I was disappointed the restaurant was closed on Sunday ( except for breakfast), she sald the free shuttle would take me to any restaurant I wanted within a five mile radius or she had a list of restaurants that would deliver. Throughout my stay that was the kind of service the staff provided. This property provided everything I expected plus extras like a desk chair that was adjustable, TV remote came in sanitized bag, snack type items were available for sale near the front desk to name a few. I was concerned about airport noise but there was none. Security Is always a concern as I travel alone. I felt very safe here. Door had peephole that had a cover so no one could look in, but you could slide it to see who was at the door. Outside doors (other than the main entrance) were locked and required a room key to enter. Both a deadbolt the chain were provided on the room door. My only negative was the room had a refrigerator with a small freezer and a coffee maker, but no microwave. Common areas and the room furnishings were very luxurious. Outside grounds were nicely landscaped and the outdoor pool area very inviting. I would highly recommend this property. I felt the price was very reasonable.

    « Nice place for a family »

My family stayed in a suite. The price was very reasonable. I loved it. The room was very clean. We had a king bed in one room and a sofa bed in the other. Two bathrooms and two TV's - it was great. Pool area was nice and quiet, very relaxing. Staff is super nice!

    5
    « Great experience »

The staff was ready to help with anything including recommending restaurants in the area, which by the way were good. The breakfast they offer has a good variety of food, fruit and cereal etc. The room was very clean as well as the overall appearance of the lobby and halls. I will be staying again here if and when we go to Tucson.

    5
« Comfy place to stay »

Very comfortable and friendly place to stay. Staff was excellent with directions and information that we needed for our trip to be successful. Near the Pima Air Museum and Airport. Nice out door pool and loved the hot tub.

« Good and bad points. »

The room was fine, but the restaurant was a disappointment. A large party was in the night we were there and the only waitress couldn't cope. A long , long wait for service. The wi fi was abysmal. One receptionist was really unhelpful, but the lovely one who checked us in and out was very apologetic about the wi fi issues and said they had someone working on the problem.

« Confortable, Clean and Well Organized »

My family stayed here one night during June 2016 for an annual event that we attend every year in Tucson. That being said, we've been at several hotels over the years. This was by far one of the best. Great breakfast, very clean, great wi-fi and friendly, responsive service. The airport noise we thought we would hear was non-existent. Very well organized and well maintained BW Plus.

« If you want to be aggrevated, this place is for you »

Upon check-in, I was charged about $20 more per night than guaranteed. Internet was down 3 of the 4 days I was there. Running toilet was never fixed, extra towels requested never provided and shampoo not replaced. One toaster in a hotel breakfast room with many rooms and one side didn't work, creating a line to make toast. Every day brought a different problem. Staff was sympathetic but nothing changed.

    5
    « A Fantastic Hotel »

I have stayed at the Best Western Plus Intl Tucson Airport hotel frequently over the past two years. The staff i have encountered over this time and to this day are the most friendly, helpful and courteous staff. The hotel and rooms are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and i will always stay at this hotel.

    5
    « Close to Airport »

We have stayed at this hotel before and once again had excellent service from the staff. The hot breakfast was excellent and seating was spacious, not over stuffed like other hotels. Hallways are very wide to accommodate those checking in and out with out stepping on others.

    5
    « Hidden Gem »

I like staying here even though it's across town from my company's office. The rates are always quite fair and the place has a cozy and quiet feel. The rooms are big and last time they even upgraded me to a suite which I did not want to leave. A hot breakfast adds to the value.

« Tim the GM, was very friendly and professional! »

Love those Waffles. Great staff Great parking Has a bar connected to it Very clean Easy access Very professional and courteous front desk agents available and willing to help you at all times. The elevator works great I stayed up stairs everything was very convenient and very nice thank you I had a great stay.

    « Another Great Stay! »

Every time we visit our son, his wife and our two grand children in Tucson we stay here the night before we fly out. Kids come over and enjoy the pool area with us. Had to run off our boarding passes and printer was having problems. Girl at desk helped us right away and solved the problem. Will stay there again and again!

    5
    « A wonderful business trip »

I would highly recommend this Best Western + to anyone looking for a stress free visit. I have many times seen the hotel staff going "the extra mile" to ensure customer needs are met. I will not say there have not been glitches (internet was spotty a couple of nights) however the management as well as the staff work as hard as humanly possible to ensure everything is as good as it can be.

    3
« Average Airport Hotel - Service was Excellent »

The service was excellent; even though they were short staffed that evening (there was a large party being held there in the event area), the staff did their best to provide quality service. The room could have been cleaner; there were hairs in the bathroom and shower (gross). The sheets while clean, were worn and stained, as was the bedspread, which was moderately clean. Bed was very comfortable and room temperature was easy to control. Wi-Fi did not work. A refrigerator in the room was great and was cold upon my arrival. Food - very little selection, mostly meat-centered and fried or quick grilled (burgers, wings, etc.) Check-in and check-out was easy. Breakfast had plain oatmeal that one could add raisins, nuts, etc., so that was nice. Tea was available and the hot water did not smell/taste like coffee, also a pleasant surprise.

    5
« The Best, Best Western »

I have stayed at many Best Western hotels and this is one of the very best. Very comfortable beds, good food and CLEAN ROOMS Parking my car was virtually at the room entrance. Close to the airport without being woken up by every plane taking off and landing. Restaurant waitress was delightful.

« Understanding and responsive management »

The property was extremely helpful in sorting out a reservation situation I had. They were responsive and customer aligned in how they worked with me to solve a problem which was my oversight. I appreciate the way they handled it.

« Very nice stay. Usual quality for Best Western »

Average place, but was a very good time spent here. Was in town for work, and this was the closest place. Staff very friendly. Court yard was very nice. The hotel bar and restaurant has odd hours, but the bar tender is very friendly as well. Ate at the hotel as there is literally nothing else to eat in the area. I would recommend this hotel.

    5
    « Exceptional »

I would recommend this hotel. Has free shuttle to the airport. Beds are amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This location is right off the freeway and easy to find. We would stay again without hesitation.

    « Labor Day Getaway »

Beautiful courtyard, nice and relaxing atmosphere. Lobby and breakfast area were nice. Guest rooms were comfortable, but could use a little updating. Internet was very slow, when you could actually connect to the hotels free wi-fi.

    5
« Excellent customer service and hotel property! »

I must tell you about the desk clerk Revecca Alvarez: she greeted my spouse and I in the morning as we headed to the breakfast area and let us know she was there to make our stay pleasant. As such, I shared about a BW travel card issue I had and she offered to resolve it. After some time, I received a call in my room and was put in contact with BW customer service. It took some discussion, but it was all resolved and I received my promotional discount at check out. I am very grateful for this service; I'm sure I could have handled it with customer service on my own, but I believe Revecca's intercession saved me a lot time. Thank you!

    5
    « Unbelievable! »

The staff and management are extremely helpful and understanding. Our rooms were upgraded to suites, not just on this trip, but on the last one we completed. I was very satisfied with every element of our stay, including a very early trip to the airport, and a late return.

    4
    « Travel stop »

This was a clean hotel, with a location close to the airport. Room was clean, but beginning to show some age. Fair price for what I received. They serve breakfast, but I didn't have time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle doesn't run til 5am which didn't work for me.

    5
    « Comfortable Stay! »

The rooms here are very clean and roomy. We had an opportunity to use the pool in the evening. It was very relaxing and clean as well. We could not find the timer for the hot tub, but the front desk person came right out and was very helpful. The night we stayed there it was very quiet. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, this was a great place to stay.

    5

    « Wonderful Stay »

We had a great time the hotel had great customer service, Revecca was excellent in her front desk service. I had my 2 daughters with us and we got a suite, it had so much room for us all, 2 bathrooms, 2 closets, and 2 televisions, which is perfect for our family of 4. I will definately be coming back again.

    « Manager »

Stayed in this beautiful hotel for 2 nights. Had a king room on 1st floor connected to a beautiful suite parlor. My rooms had doors leading out to the beautifully landscaped grounds, pool and covered patio area. Hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The lobby area is really pretty and has several really nice sitting areas. I was so glad to have stayed here. I will stay here again.

    3
« Bad odor in room »

The room had a bad odor which was taken care of when I reported it. But the odor returned the following day. We got a handicap room that we did not request. We should have been advised that there wasn't a counter top in the bathroom. Not having a counter top made it hard to have our bag with toiletries on the floor, have to put it up on the bed when using it.

    5
    « Exceptional stay »

lovely comfortable bed breakfast was varied and delicious. All staff very helpful and polite. Would stay again. Love the location and the courtyard. Lobby was a little warm when checking in but room was nice and cool.

    « Great stay! »

This hotel was excellent, especially for the price. We stayed overnight, the beds were really comfortable and the rooms very clean. The first floor rooms lead out into a courtyard with a pool and lounge area. The breakfast had a great variety, and late hours. I would definitely recommend staying here.

    1
    « Great location »

This hotel is convenient to the Tucson airport and can walk it if you don't have much luggage. One problem I encountered is the shuttle doesn't begin until 5am so if you are like me I had to get a taxi. Friendly and helpful staff and a very nice lobby. There is a pool, grassy lounge area with benches and lots of orange trees in an area enclosed by the hotel. It shows it's use but very nice and comfortable.

« Amazing vacation in Tuscon, Arizona »

My daughter and I checked in to the Best Western Plus in Tuscon on July 28th and stayed until August 4th. We were picked up by the courtesy shuttle, and for a whole week were shuttled about within a 5-mile radius to wherever we wished to go. The staff is amazing: from Vicky, Robert, Jessica, Rebecca, and all those whose names I, unfortunately, did not get. The hospitality here knows no bounds. We will be back again to see not only the beauty that is Tuscon, but the people who make this Best Western Plus truly in a class by itself.

    5
    « Location is deceiving »

Can't lie, booked this hotel because of the price, which by the way, was AWESOME. Turned out to be some of the best money we ever spent. My husband is from Tucson and still has family down there so we decided to kill 2 birds with one stone. It turned out to be the perfect jumping off point for everything we did while we were there. Hit National Parks, Tubac, a nice dinner out, and really didn't drive all that far. Weather was terrible, but it's late July in Tucson, Arizona.....gotta suck it up, buttercup.

    5
    « Shuttle Helpfulness »

In addition to a very pleasant and helpful staff and comfortable room, The shuttle service to and from the airport was most helpful and punctual! It was necessary for us to leave before the complementary breakfast was served, however, I have stayed in Best Western Hotels in several states and have always been pleased with the menu and service. I would expect no less at this property.

    4

Have A student taking summer classes, we are looking for hotels with good internet service for him and amenities for us. They had both. Id stay again. Loved the décor, funny thing though, when I pulled up grasshoppers the size of my thumbs dive bombed me in the leg and scared me pretty good!!

« Excellent, like a resort hotel without the cost. »

I was reseasearching hotels for our Southwest road trip vacation and saw the "Tripadvisor seal of Excellence". I was impressed by reviews and the photos online. My only concern was that it seemed too good to be true for the price. But on a budget, we decided to book three nights. It was only $55 per night including a very good cooked breakfast, which had different choices each day. I must say that I am very glad we decided to book. We taken stayed for three nights and the hotel turned out to be much more than a place to sleep. It has a very attractive and thoughtfully designed courtyard with open and covered areas to sit, surrounded on three sides by guests rooms and one side being the reception and restaurant area. There is a large oitdoor pool and hot tub. The courtyard is nicely landscaped with lots of fruit-bearing orange trees. Each morning we delighted in having our breakfast "AL Fresco" followed by a dip in the pool and the treat of a hot tub. I just cannot believe the value for money. I can't remember staying in a nicer hotel as far as "chain-hotels" go. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant breakfast was excellent and it was a real bonus to be able to dine inexpensively in there in the evenings, even though the choices are limited. One did not have to go searching for a place to eat. The rooms are fine, nothing exceptional. Just a good size and clean. But the hotel overall is excellent and I definitely recommend it very highly.

    « For the weekend... »

Stayed for the forth of July and ended up staying another night. Nice rooms, coffee maker was a little crusty, AC in the room was nice and cold. Breakfast had a very nice selection, staff was helpful and accommodating. I would most definitely stay again.

The staff and awesome. Sandra is the best. The room was magnificent. Next time we drive to Texas, we will make your hotel our first overnight stay. Thank you for your many courtesies. The food in the bar was really good and breakfast was perfect! Thank you, thank you.

« Very nice room & excellent location! »

I booked a king room but found I'd been upgraded to a king suite overlooking the courtyard pool. I'm not sure how this happened, but I'm glad it did! The room was wonderful - spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was well-lit and had plenty of counter space for toiletries. The location is perfect if you need to fly into/out of Tucson airport. It surely made my 5:30 am flight a breeze!

« Dirty room, Poor Management »

Nail clipping in bed. Requested new bedding. Bedding was changed however the nail clipping ended up on the floor. When I stepped barefooted on the nail clipping I called and request a vacuum cleaner. Shuttle driver came up and picked up by hand the clipping. She told me it was something we could have done. At checkout I spoke with the Hotel manger who informed me they had been very busy and everything was not done. I told him that was his problem not mine so BW and I have ended a 12-12 year relationship.

    4
    « convenient and good »

We had a one night stay at the BW by the airport in Tucson while visiting family. Overall the room accommodations were very nice and spacious. The breakfast was pretty good and clean which is always a plus. The staff i interacted with was very friendly and always ready to help even in accommodating us with a late check out. The only reason why i didn't give this place a 5 star rating was because when we pulled out the sofa bed it was a bit dirty and you could tell it had not been vacuumed correctly also the coffee maker still had water when we opened it. Other than that, this property is excellent, I am willing to overlook minor little details because of everything else.

    « A restful finale »

A friend chanced upon your listing on computer and I'm very glad I took it. This was a great choice for my needs after a 3-week trip by an almost-87 year old. I felt it was a fair price, AND it had good climate-control, was quiet, and with hearty breakfast, good coffee, and a delightful staff to see me on my way. If I get up the energy to go forth again, I'll use Best Western.

    4
    « Moving Equipment »

This property is very nice and has a number of shops, eating establishments very close by. The airport is very close to the hotel and they have a van that will transport you to and from. The price is very reasonable, I am always going to stay at this property when ever I'm in town, permitted they have rooms.

« Can't find any reason to give it less than 5 stars. »

The front desk staff was very friendly. I got in my room and the room was very clean. A/C works well. (Thankfully!) I'm on the second floor facing in, where some had said will be the quietest. It is. Nice size TV, but although it's an HD, is the service HD? IT IS!!!! I always subtract a star for non-HD. There's no reason today why ANY hotel shouldn't have it. Great picture. I checked the matress, as I always do, for those little biting friends. It was clean. Linens were all fresh and clean and the bed comfy. Wifi was pretty slow--2.11 Mbps. But for my needs in a hotel, it was adequate and certainly not losing a star over. I do wish I would have gotten upgraded, considering I'm a Platinum Member with Best Western Rewards, but I didn't ask. It was late and I was tired. Finally, I woke up this morning to a nice hot breakfast bar. Tables in dining area are very clean. Food was great and the staff was friendly. Also, grounds were very well maintained. All in all, this is a great example of a flagship BW.

    « "Amazing staff !!!" »

We often stay at Best Westerns, however, we were very impressed with the staff at this one. One young lady in particular, Ms. Karen Moroyoqui, went that extra mile to not only restore the "customer" to customer service BUT to make sure that all our needs were met and our questions answered. KUDOS to you Ms.Karen. If every Best Western employee was like you, there would be no need for any other chain!!!!! Congratulations, keep up the exemplary work and that beautiful smile!!!!!

I have stayed at the Best Western Plus International Airport, Tucson many times over the past couple of years as i am from Northern Ireland & my girlfriend is from Tucson. I highly recommend this hotel.

An overall great place to stay if you have an extremely early or late flight out of Tucson airport. The staff, all around, were very courteous and helpful. Very good pool also. A few minutes walk to multiple off-airport parking garages...which will save you $$$. I will book a room here again during my next vacation.

I had called to ask for an early check in, due to arriving there an hour early, the front desk clerk was very polite, I had explained the situation and she said yes, to checking in early. During my check in the 2 ladies in the front desk were very nice and gave me a map of the property. My room was very cleaned it smelled good and the beds were very comfortable. I have stayed there a few other time before and it has always been a great stay, friendly staff, great breakfast and very nice rooms and pool area is always clean too. Thank You to all staff for making my stay great all around.

I did not know quite what to expect, as it has been a while since I have stayed at a Best Western. I did so during this trip because my HOG membership offers some additional value. Either way, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of my stay. The hotel had a great fitness, pool/spa and lobby area. My room/suite was large, clean and comfortable. A great place to stay and a great value!

Love this hotel, such a wonderful quiet place to rest. From the great service, to the cleanliness everywhere, to the wonderful rooms, the great breakfast bar area and food, the nice quad area to relax in or go to the pool in, so many things to recommend. Came to stay one night on Labor Day weekend and didn't want to leave so stayed a second night. Can't recommend enough it has it all and usually at a great price as well. Doesn't matter that you have to drive a bit into town, it's just too nice to miss.

We knew our flight was coming in late to Tucson and picked this Best Western based on it's location close to the airport. We booked a suite on the first floor. The room was clean, roomy, and quiet. It was adjacent to the pool and just down the hall from the fitness room. A nice breakfast buffet and restaurant also on site. Very courteous staff and no airport noise was heard. We actually considered staying for our entire visit, but, it was just a little too far from our property.

Very good deal for the price. The room was very clean and had amenities if they were needed. The view from the room was amazing the pool area with the gazebos was very nice. Also the covered parking on the side was a plus since Arizona can get very warm.

« Best Western Tucson Airport - Tucson, Arizona »

The Best Western Tucson Airport Inn has consistently provided an efficient reservations process and an accommodating staff; this recent visit - with a group of foreign students - was very pleasant and enjoyable, largely due to the efforts of the desk staff to provide for our various logistical needs. The location is very convenient to the airport, and the shuttle offered by this site makes transfer to the airport quick and timely. Overall, this is a terrific hotel, with service and staff that are first-rate.

« Great place to stop enroute »

As best as I recall, everything was fine. Hard to remember last summer, why do I need 200 words to say we had a pleasant stay? Is this a tripadvisor requirement? I love BestWestern, but if I need to write 200 words, I won't even start a review next time!

Excellent choice! I had stayed here before and enjoyed another delightful visit. A wonderful suite. Upgrade to a suite; well worth the price. Excellent staff. Beautiful pool and spa courtyard. Covered parking and daily breakfast all made the visit exceptional. A great price for such an exceptional visit.

« Great Stay in Tucson »

This hotel is close to the airport, and just south of Tucson. Easy location to get to surrounding places. The hotel itself was wonderful, quiet, and our room had a sliding door that took you out onto the patio and close to the pool area. Our room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Every morning the breakfast was different, and always plenty for all.Loved their gym, it too was clean with TV's to watch, towels and water to drink, and wipes to wipe off equipment before and after. Overall it's a great place!

We had never stayed at a Best Western Plus before and it turned out to be a great place to stay. The entire property was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The breakfast had many choices and it was all good. We had a very large group and everyone was satisfied with our stay. We had previously stayed down the street, but will never go back. there again. We will stay here again.

    « Quality, Quiet, & Qumfortable »

The TV was about 40 inches. There was an exhaust fan in bathroom, and out pet peeve is motel rooms without a fan to exhaust the humidity from the shower plus the other. Also, there was a convenient AC outlet for a sleep apnea machine. The bath towels were large and absorbent. The BW Tucson airport property has everything we needed for 2 nights of home away from home.

« Great Hotel with wonderful breakfast »

This Best Western was convenient to the Tucson Airport and several places to eat. The hotel offered a very nice hot breakfast and served coffee or tea all day in the lobby. Personnel was helpful for printing you maps and giving you directions. The hotel offers several "lobby" / sitting areas for relaxing or meeting with friends. We had a suite where you had a large spacious bedroom and a room for a separate sitting area. Hotel was very reasonable in cost and offered a discount if you stayed 3 night or more.

    « Comfortable »

Stayed here for a week while moving our student out of an apartment near the UA campus. Although there were hotels closer to campus, we chose this Best Western because the rooms are larger, there's a great assortment of breakfast items, an on-site restaurant for dinner, it's within walking distance from the airport, a great hotel staff, and they have a large courtyard (with pool) that has a resort feel.

« Great location and great staff »

The staff at BEST WESTERN PLUS Tucson Int'l Airport Hotel & Suites was helpful, courteous, and went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Located near the airport and far enough from the airport to avoid the jet noise, we found the hotel well maintained, clean, and roomy. We would definitely return here when we are in Tucson.

Great hotel! I had checked into the Hyatt but the heater for the pool was broken so we moved to BW. It was cheaper and the hotel has been recently renovated. We have only booked be for all of the rest of our trips!

    « winter holiday »

We found the staff very helpful and the room comfortable. We stayed 2 nights as a base for touring the area. The only issue I had was when having to launder clothes once I found the laundry room I had a lengthy walk back to reception for extra coin and back again to wash clothes

« Very clean and nice »

Very nice place to stay. The rooms were very clean and also the hotel in general. It was very quiet. The complimentary breakfast was the best we have had in a hotel. Much more than muffins and fruit. There were waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage.

    « hard to find »

We were driving and found it difficult to locate. Once located a very nice place to stay. Breakfast was very good and do not miss out. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The overall property was very pleaseant and well worth the time spent there.

    « Amazing »

I prefer Best Western hotels as the level of quality, cleanliness, comfort, safety, and amenities almost always meets my expectations. For that reason I've become a Diamond Member and for the first time as a Diamond Member was offered *without me asking" a room upgrade which was a suite. I was entirely grand and my only regret was that my family was not there to share it with me and I was only passing through so my time to enjoy it was very limited. I will stay here again next time I pass through....even if no upgrade is available.

« Definitely a Best Western PLUS YOU WANT TO STAY AT »

We chose the best when we booked 4 nights at this Airport location, cleanliness and decor stood out, coffee bar always ready, business center had 3 good computers and great lighting, friendliest service from every employee who went overboard to make you feel comfortable and answer your questions, print out directions, The manager, Tim, did everything he could to make our stay pleasant. This location was mid-way between all the attractions we chose to visit, and there are several that are outstanding: Pima Air & Space Museum, AZ Desert Sonora Museum, Saguaro National Park and Mission San Xavier .. The only attraction I would not rate highly is 'Old Tucson' which was terribly overpriced and the food was not good. On stage at the Grand Palace Saloon was recording artist BUCK HELTON, singing cowboy who also yodeled and was the best act there. The lady who kept the breakfast room spotless and the food flowing never sat down. There was everything imaginable available for breakfast. The young lady server in the evening in the dining room was friendly and efficient and the menu was varied and reasonable, a delightful experience. The bed was firm, the bathroom very clean .. we were happy we chose this location for our 4-night stay. If I had to say one thing negative it would be there are no good reading lights in the rooms, lights are too dull, put in some good lightbulbs for those that like to read in bed, please. I would also add that this motel was the least expensive of the four we stayed at and the best!!

    « Excellence »

When I came into this hotel late at night after a long day of driving over 500 miles the employee that took care of me was extremely fast, professional, and friendly, she even got me into the exact same room I had when I was here a few weeks ago, which was absolutely amazing because I really enjoyed everything about the room I had, that young woman's name is Marisela, it's not often that people experience that amazing type of attitude, personality, and professionalism all at the same time, I truly hope this young woman gets the credit and recognition she has certainly earned and deserves. Sincerly, Ryan Mocaby (room 114)

This a very nice facility but poorly maintained at the time. Emergency door leading to the parking lot from the breakfast Area was locked even thou a sign from the fire Marshall said the door was to be unlocked whenever the room was occupied. Numerous little things in the room were broken or else not working, burnt out light bulbs, coat hooks, strike plate on entry door.

« Great Hotel in a Great Location »

Spent 5 nights at the Best Western Plus Tucson International Airport Hotel while scouting out my beloved Seattle Sounders soccer team during their "spring training" at Tucson's Kino Sports Complex. The hotel was just minutes away from the Sounders practice facility & literally just up the street from the Tucson International Airport. Easy access to main street & freeway routes made side trips to Bisbee, AZ & the Phoenix Waste Management golf tournament a breeze. Great staff had the answers to all my travel questions. Beautiful, clean facility with a more than satisfactory breakfast each morning.

    2
    « Housekeeping »

Housekeeping attitude was very terrible. They need more training on customer service and keeping personal business out of work place. Housekeepers need to speed up the cleaning process and keep personal business out of work place. Frontdesk, location, hotel and breakfast was excellent.

    « Fantastic Facility »

This Best Western Plus met all my needs and requirements perfectly. Breakfasts were fantastic! My room was quiet and restful. The computers in the Business Center were nearly always available when I needed them. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I plan to make reservations at this facility for my next business trip to Tucson!

Close to TUS airport...easy access to interstates...south to Bisbee copper mine...Tombstone...west to Saguaro Desert Museum & park..north to Biosphere 2...all great day trips. Only negative is finding a restaurant close by...better to dine before returning to hotel. Very nice grounds & personnel.

    « A very pleasant stay! »

I was surprised at the luxury of this particular Best Western. I had a large roomy suite (I had a free upgrade to this), and regretted that I was only going to be there one night. The service was excellent, the rooms were very comfortable, the food was good at breakfast, and the surroundings were beautiful.

    « STAY AWAY FROM ROOM 101 »

I must admit the facility was very nicely done. Food was good. However, the mattress in room 101 needed to be replaced. This king mattress caved in the center and had very little substance beyond that to the end. My husband had already fallen asleep and I didn't want to wake him after a long day of driving. I had a hard time hanging onto the edge of the bed, consequently I did not get any sleep that night. So while this place is a nice hotel, any person with two eyes could see that this mattress was not usable and should have been replaced a long time ago. .

This was an awesome hotel. We loved our room. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds and pool area are amazing. The breakfast was great. « Great place »

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights while visiting relatives in Tucson. It was attractive, great price. Breakfast had many choices. Room was attactive and comfortable. Only disadvantage for us were the firm pillows and we prefered softer.

    « great value »

excellent staff especially Tim Heim, the managing director, he listened to our problems personnally and did what needed to be done for us. There is a lovely garden with a nice heated pool and jacuzzi. Lots of places to sit in the shade or sun to read a good book. This hotel is clean with comfortable beds and a great breakfast. Their shuttle to the airport is free and punctual. Access to highway is easy. Although it is close to the airport and we slept with the window open it was very quiet. I guess there are no flights during the night.

Very nice and quiet hotel in Tucson. If you like to relax this is the place to go. Only the breakfast has room for improvement. Very close to the airport but that does not bother concerning plane noise.

« Great Service and Rooms »

I've stayed at this hotel twice and will stay here again when I return to Tucson. The front desk staff is very helpful. I had the same room on both visits. It is a poolside suite. The room is inviting, comfortable and quite. I recommend you get a suite, you won't be disappointed. There is a free breakfast every morning. The hotel has a restaurant with bar but, at this time, the menu is limited. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced.

« Pretty nice, great for business stay »

I usually trying to find BW before any other hotels if I need to get a room for 1 night or with family. This hotel does belong to Plus family, nicely decorated with good pool and jacuzzi. Room was Ok, not great but pretty good overall with nice comfy bed. Need some updates to decor and carpet and showers are too loud I was afraid I'll wake everyone up. Near by airport noise didn't bother much. So overall it is great for business stay and even with family. Cheers, Sasha

« Best Western Tucson Airport »

Reasonable rates, comfortable, quiet. No nearby restaurants that could be walked to, but the lobby provided a good list of restaurants within 5 miles. If an elevator is required, request at check-in since there are a limited number of elevators, or request ground level.

    2
    « Not so great »

We were to be picked up at the airport by the hotel shuttle. We called and they said that one was on the way. Half an hour later it still had not arrived. Apparently the hotel had forgotten to tell the drive that we were waiting. Luckily another shuttle took pity on us and gave us a lift. Also there is only one elevator in the building and we had about a quarter mile walk to our room (with luggage).

    « Good people »

I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends . Very nice staff knowledgeable and professional . The hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in . I love the culture the hard work and the honesty of the staff and the residence .

    « Great value overall »

Another great stay at one of my favorite BW+ hotels. Excellent sleep quality in a quiet setting with a more-than-adequate breakfast. Highly recommend for a single traveler or a family. Don't miss the heated outside pool, either!

« One of the best hotel experiences yet »

Looking for comfort, quiet, convenience and quality and we were NOT disappointed. The bed was a tie with being as comfortable as our bed at home. Free breakfast was substantial. Room and hotel was clean and fashionable. The courtyard was really pretty with covered patios and pleasing landscaping. We got a good room rate which made the quality even better. Our room was in the back on the second floor. Quiet. Didn't hear neighbors or airplanes. Heard a few trains, but nothing bothersome. Friendly and helpful staff. Orange trees in blossom just outside our window with that beautiful fragrance!

    2
« too far to walk with suitcases »

one elevator for a large hotel? if you get a room anywhere but near the office and on the second or third floor,be ready to carry your bags a long way. room entrance key didn't work first time and had to walk all the way back to desk

    3
« Customer Service Truly Lacking at Check-In »

My room and two day stay was reasonably good, but the check in experience was terrible. When I approached the counter one woman was on the phone and two other women were on a computer together with a side view of the counter. After they finally turned my way neither welcomed me. The woman who checked me in barely looked at me, just stared at the computer. Zero friendliness. I'll remain a rewards member, but this is the last time I'll go to this Best Western.

    4
« The Good and the Bad »

The good: Excellent courtyard and pool for relaxing between business. A very decent breakfast with plenty of seating available unlike many other hotels that include breakfast. The bad: Room key had to be reinserted numerous times for door to unlock. Even then, sometimes it would not unlock at all. Repeated complaints about this problem did not produce any results. On at least 3 occasions the door to my room was ajar. This was good that I could get in but bad that so could anyone else (I am meticulous about ensuring that the door is fully closed and locked when I leave). This security issue was rather disconcerting. Finally, there some potato chips on the floor under the desk in the room when I arrived. There were not picked up by the cleaning staff for 5 days. I finally picked them up myself after given them every opportunity to do so. When I complained about all these issues, I was only given an $8 discount for one night which I did not think was adequate compensation when the same problems persisted every day.

« Great place to stay near airport »

We stayed here for two nights in March 2016.The King room was not big compared to others on this trip. The room was very clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable. The room was also well lighted which we think is important. They have an onsite bar and restaurant. We did not eat at the restaurant but did have a couple of drinks at the bar. The free breakfast was very good .The grounds and pool area are beautiful. We found the hotel to be very quiet even though we were close to the airport. We were centrally located to everything we wanted to see.

    « Poor Bathroom Cleaning »

On Tuesday the Beds were made but the bathroom was not touched. It was as if one person cleans the room and another services the bathroom who didn't show up. I called the front desk letting them know the bathroom had not been serviced. The lady ask how many towels I needed, I said 3, and that is exactly what I got, no wash rags, no floor mat. I did get what I ask for, my bad. :-) The next morning at check out,The young lady at the front desk did not know how to handle my questions about why the bathroom was not serviced. All she kept telling me is "It should have been". She did say " Oh, Did you ask for it to be cleaned", I stated " So you don't clean the rooms each night?" I have stayed at some hotels where they don't so , Ok. She stated again "It should have been". No offers on a next stay, apologies, nothing. The other lady in the office was ignoring the requests for assistance from the lady I was speaking with and that made the situation awkward for both of us. She was busy but a simple acknowledgement could have been made. As a customer service manager with direct reports I understand the poor girl was caught in a terrible situation. Please give the front desk people some guidance. It is awful when caught in a situation you don't know how to handle. If I would have been an angry customer she would have had no clue what to do. confidence is everything.

« Good Value in Tucson »

The room was spacious, comfortable, and generally quiet. As a result of its proximity to the airport, it can be somewhat noisy at times. The noise was more noticeable during the daylight hours, and did present a problem for either of us. If your primary goal is to visit sites in Tucson, then I would suggest a motel nearer the northern end of town that would be closer to your planned activities. Breakfast was good and provided a nice variety of choices.

    4
    « Great Value »

Close to the airport but easy travel by car to many activities. A light sleeper will hear the planes. However, I did not find it a problem. Buffet breakfast was good but what we see in many hotels offering it and nothing exceptional. Clean and well appointed rooms. I would stay there again without any concerns.

« Great Bed, Decent Hotel »

Great bed...yes the bed worked really well.....breakfast was OK...internet very good...the room was very quiet and clean.....rate was pretty good....so we liked the totality of what we received for the dollars paid. « J.C. »

Beautiful spot, clean rooms, helpful desk, great facilities and close to the airport. Near perfect for the price. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, food cold, when we went there were several items empty in need of freshening up. Tucson is a very economical place to visit, especially this time of year.

    « A disaster »

Worst Best Western Plus experience ever. Advance reservation not honored. Took 1 hour to secure a promised room plus another 2 hours to get the room partially cleaned only to be shorted linens. Checkout was also a disaster taking in excess of 30 minutes with billing still in dispute.

« Failed in all the deatails »

First the good. This was a lovely facility. Lush lawn surrounded the pool area and orange trees filled with ripe oranges surrounded the building. It was stunning. The room was modern and had a great selection of TV channels. The breakfast was really good.- Crisp bacon and promptly refilled Now the bad. The cleaning was very poor. Even after I left a note with a tip asking that the bathroom be cleaned because one of our party had been ill, I found a dying bug (he was there before I left) still on the floor and stains from coffee surrounding the trash can. It was almost impossible to get towels. We had to ask for them each day and then they would only give me 2 wash cloths. We had to wait for a maid to bring some towels to the pool. Two of the towels they hung in the room had something dirty still on them. Clearly, they need to get more towels-what hotel runs out of towels? The bar and grill was really a snack bar offering grilled cheese, BLT's and such. The menu never changed and the credit card machine never worked. It was convenient to have on site and the barmaid/waitress was very nice and efficient. The staff appeared too busy to help guests. When asking for directions, I was handed a piece of paper without any explanation. When I mentioned that the coffee urn was empty I was advised that the lady who made coffee was not there. It sat empty for several hours. The electronic key card pads appeared old and I as well as several other guests complained that you often had to scan your card several times to get in your room. Sometimes the door never opened. This hotel could have been great, but they missed out on all the little details that make a hotel stay special.

« Room and service did not meet expectations considering room rate paid »

    « Lots of Problems »

I have been a guest at this hotel and have rated it very high in the past. This is the lowest rating I have submitted. The room was OK but not up to the standard that I had before although the reservation was for the same class. The daily maid service was far below what I had previously experienced. Not enough towels; coffee not replaced; vacuuming not complete. The breakfast at this hotel is the standard BW breakfast, but this time, the eggs were dry, the sausage gravy was not heated properly, and the overall choices seemed lesst. The final kicker was on the last day, I went to breakfast at 6:15, 15 minutes after the scheduled opening. I asked at the desk when it would be open and the response was "maybe in a half hour to an hour." For those guests that need to check out to catch a plane or go to a meeting, or just to get on the road, something should have been done. If there was a problem with the hot portion of the meal, at least continental breakfast items could have been available for those who had to leave. Without that, the "free breakfast" could have been reflected in the final bill. Perhaps a refund, let's say $5 for the inconvenience for those who HAD to leave. There seemed to be no manager on site to resolve the problem. If there was, (s)he was in hiding. This may be my last visit to this hotel, which was one of my favorites. This was clearly an internal problem that was mismanaged. I wonder if they changed managers??? If so, they need to get the previous one back. My disclaimer is that it had been a great place and deal. This was hopefully for them, a one-time occurrence.

    « Run Down »

I have stayed here twice, it seems dirty and they didn't even clean the soap off of the ledge in the shower. The tile in the bathroom was cracked and loose as you walked on it. They always stick you in the very back, these must be old rooms. I would not go back and certainly won't recommend anyone to this facility.

    « Average at best. »

Budget hotel with older facilities and average breakfast. There were many stains on my comforter, but I came in really late from hiking in the desert and working an event so I did not have the energy to get a new one, just slept without it. Nothing special here, good location near the airport.

« Hire help for the front desk! »

I find myself turning to Best Western more and more often, especially for business travel. The rooms are generally comfortable, good amenities and very reasonably priced. This Best Western near the Tucson Airport is no different. Overall, my stay was a good one. The bed was comfortable but definitely not the ultra-cushy type you often find is expensive chain hotels. The room was clean and had up-to-date decor. Even though the hotel is located very close to the Airport and nearby Davis Monthan AFB, jet noise was absolutely not a problem during my stay, You certainly notice it outdoors, but in my room, it was quiet. The property is much larger than you'd expect, so you might want to request a room closer to the front of the hotel. The building is essentially a square shape, with a lovely, well-cared-for courtyard that includes a pool. There is a restaurant onsite and open during evening hours (breakfast buffet is included in your room price). Tia's Bar & Grill serves good, basic food - not the fried bar food one might expect. The server was a very nice young man who worked hard - he and the cook were the only ones on duty, and there were at least six other tables occupied when I was there! Many tables had not yet had bus service, but that's easy to understand when there's only one server on duty! My lone complaint is about the front desk. It seems to be terribly understaffed. Three of us arrived to check in at about the same time but the clerk was handling a phone call when we got there. Rather than placing the call on hold, she completed it before greeting any of the guests. After check in, each time I walked by the front desk, the clerk (different individuals, depending on the time of day) never greeted me (in fact, in one case, I got a distinct scowl - probably not directed at me, but still... not the greatest customer service). The owners might do well to have more folks on duty. But, again - my overall experience was very good, and if I have business in that part of town again, I'll definitely stay here a second time.

« Clean, Quiet and reasonable »

When looking for motels I found those in Tuscon to be very pricey. Then I found a good price as this motel and I'm very pleased! The room is large (one adult, two queen beds), is exceptionally clean, very comfortable, very quiet (despite being next to the airport) and reasonable in price. The breakfast is pretty standard, the front desk folks are friendly and efficient, and there is plenty of parking ... but the spaces are narrow, difficult for pickups. DO NOT BELIEVE the directions! DO NOT get off at Exit 268 and take E. Los Reales. Get off at Exit 267 (Valencia Ave) and follow it west to Tuscon Ave. Take a right and come down about half-a-mile (?). You'll need to pass it and make a U-turn to get in. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

    « Valentine's Day Family Weekend »

Traveling from Northern AZ this was a much needed trip for my family and I.The room we got was awesome which was the King Suite my kids had so much space they didn't know what to do with it!!! All in all was a very good weekend spent here. Pool was awesome and breakfast was delicious!

    « Would stay again »

Hotel & experience were good overall. Some of the decor was dated. Otherwise, staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean & everything worked. Breakfast was A+++! I'm a Diamond rewards member (30+ nights/year) with BW and this was an above average stay! Thanks!

« For this place, convenience wins »

We stayed here the night before an early morning flight. Why? It's less than half a mile from the airport. So convenience won. Otherwise, this Best Western is rather unremarkable. The layout makes for some seriously long walks to your room, whether you're on the first or second floor. Rooms are adequate, but the beds really, REALLY need to be replaced. Think of that well-established concavity in the middle that causes you and your partner to snuggle whether you want to or not. I'll likely stay here again, but it's because of the motel's location.

« Best Western PLUS Tucson Int'l Airport Hotel & Suites, ARIZONA »

We stayed here for nine nights, due to our attending a gem show in Tucson. Because of the gem show, they basically the doubled the room price. The room we stayed in was smaller than most of the other Best Westerns we have stayed at. The Internet service was atrocious. The lobby and courtyard are beautiful. The motel was very crowded at breakfast but they really worked hard at refilling.

    4
    « Nice place! »

They had a good breakfast. Beat the Baymont Inn down the street in cleanliness. Would stay here again. Was during the gem show so could not stay here for the duration. Did go to the Best Western in Green Valley... which was even better.

    5
    « Excellent! »

Friendly happy courteous staff! Came for the gem show super close to everything! Easy check in and great checkout time of Noon! Great shuttle service too!!! Clean rooms and pretty lobby. Thank you see you next year! We will be back!!!!!!!!!!

« Front Desk Support Lacking »

Front Desk Support Lacking - Forgot to report broken toilet causing 4 hours of waste for our time in Tucson. We had to follow up and the only response from the front desk personnel was "I'm Sorry" Maintenance/Facilities service once reported was excellent.

« Did not live up to reviews »

Overall, I don't understand how this hotel received the high rating from AAA. It did not deserve it. Front desk customer service was unfriendly. It took 10 minutes to process our reservation and find rooms for us. During that time she did not look up from her computer, make eye contact, smile or explain the delay as she processed our reservation. In the end, we were not given the rooms we reserved. We observed the same attitude with others who approached her. In addition, even though we told her we had a handicapped person with us, she directed us to park in the back. The back entrance had steps, and my elderly mother fell on them. The next day we left for the airport, shuttle driver was also unfriendly, plus the seat belt was broken in the van. The lobby and courtyard were beautiful, but we were given a room at the back, where the hall was dingy and poorly lit. It was not the experience I expected from the AAA rating it received.

« Best Western Airport Location in Tucson Aces »

Great hotel for price. Picked this one over the one on the North side cos it was considerably cheaper. It was actually nicer ex ept didn't have the two free drinks at happy hour. Big clean and great flat screen tv. Good breakfast. No faults really except some may not like location, industrial but near a couple of great brew pubs

    5
« The people {Karen & Sylvia Front desk and also the Mgr} where so helpful and nice. »

The rooms clean and very comfortable, Hot tub was perfect, The breakfast was very complete. Was only going to stay one night but enjoyed so much stayed two nights. again everyone was so nice and accommodating. If I come back to this area I would definitely stay there again.

« Friendly, clean, affordable, airport hotel »

If you need a clean, comfortable room close to the airport for business or family visits... this is the one in Tucson. Friendly, helpful staff, inviting lobby and dining area. Business center and wifi offer all you need to do your work on the road. Convenient to local restaurants and shopping. And quiet for restful sleep on comfy beds...

    « Overnight stay »

The room was very comfortable and was in a very good state of repair. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night prior to an early flight the next morning. The hotel provides an as needed shuttle to the airport which is only 5 minutes away. The hotel also has a very nice park and fly option, which is a nice $$ saver over the airport parking options. The breakfast was also a nice touch prior to flying and also saves paying the crazy airport food prices. Would recommend the BW plus airport.

« Slipping through the cracks »

I booked this hotel for a business trip, paid in advance by my employer. After receiving my reservation confirmation, I called to confirm the pre-payment, and told by the front desk that payment had been received. Upon arriving at the hotel to check in, the manager requested payment. Although I explained a number of times that it had been prepaid, he simply told me I would have to present payment or cancel the reservation and leave. After a significant period of time, while the manager essentially dismissed me and attended to social conversation with other(male) customers, I simply stood at the desk and repeated by confirmation of prepayment. Finally, the manager told another desk staff to check the records for third payment parties. Within moments. she was able to find the confirmation. The manager, in the meantime, went to his office and closed the door. The only apology I received was from the desk staff. I am a Choice Hotels member and this was the worst management service I have received. While the room was satisfactory, my check-in experience clouded my visit.

    « Great Location »

Newly renovated hotel is great if traveling north or south of Tucson. Nice breakfast and grounds. Very reasonably priced compared to others in the area. We used it as our base going south to Tombstone and Bisbee and north to the Biosphere 2. Took my grandson on long holiday weekend.

This motel near the airport is nicely landscaped, clean, friendly and comfy. The front desk staff were all awesome. Jessica and Sylvia were especially helpful when I needed help with some business needs. Great place at a good price.

« BEAUTIFUL HOTEL AND EXCELLENT STAY »

This Best Western Plus TUCSON INT'L Airport Hotel was the best hotel I have ever stayed in and the price was fantastic. The Hotel is beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was above and beyond most continental breakfasts.. The staff was professional and courteous. The hotel also has a big weight room to use. I would most defiantly highly recommend this hotel to family and friends. The hotel is close to the airport but you do not hear any of the planes flying over. When staying again in Tucson AZ I will not stay anywhere else but this Best Western Plus Hotel.

    « Son Wedding »

When arrived at hotel for check-in attendant had a lack of professionalism (attitude) when it comes to customer service. The reservation made earlier in the week was not honor due to over booking. The full breakfast served was excellent and well staffed. The Rooms were comfortable and clean, got a good nights rest. The hotel is in close proximity to the airport. The hotel is family oriented.

« Great Hotel very close to the airport »

The hotel is clean, and the new bar/grill inside looks very nice, though I didn't get to eat there. It is seconds away from the airport, which is very handy for an early flight. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated, they seem updated, if a little bit small. Overall, a very good value for the price. I paid more for the Best Western in Tempe, and was far less pleased with the state of the hotel there.

« Average and I tell you why »

This could be such an amazing place but it has some serious issues. I stayed there twice, one my way over to California and back. The rooms are comfortable, it is quiet, smells a little, it's an old property, the customer service from the front desk is out of this world being outstanding, but house keeping is another story..... On the way to California, had no issues, was on the return, we got our room and we went to it, as we stared to put stuff away we found old food in the fridge, my wife has this thing that she likes to make the bed, she does not like the way they make them, so she went to make the bed, and the sheets had stains all over, so did the cover, and not only stains, but hairs all over the sheets, it was ovious the sheets had not been changed. I went to the front desk and the lady apologized and upgraded me to a suite, so we moved all our stuff to the suite, we where getting all installed and there trash can in the suite had empty plastic bottles, old food and a dirty dipper, the window cell had old cigarret buts and dead bugs... Now as I say at the beginning, this could be a great place to stay, the front desk crews is great and the bartender she is also very nice, but house keeping letterarly SUCKS....

    « My Opinion »

Every time we stayed here it was a nice experience. The staff is always friendly. The rooms and bathroom a very clean. The location to the airport is perfect. Nice and Fast Food restaurants are close by. Breakfast at the Hotel has many choices and is well stocked and kept clean. It my only choice in Tucson.

Highly recommend this hotel. In the past I have had a hard time finding decent hotels in Tucson, this was the first time I was really comfortable. The hotel was really clean and the beds were comfortable.

    « Friendly and Fantastic »

Lovely property, convenient to Tucson Airport Area. Hotel surrounds lovely courtyard with spotless pool and hot tub. Full, hot breakfast was just right. Sylvia at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. No airport noise inside room. We will stay here again.

Hotel staff was indifferent. Room smelled bad. Door to room jammed. Reported to front desk, no one fixed it. Faucet in bathroom was hanging off. Had to struggle to get the water on and off. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel.

This hotel was close to the airport and easy access to lots of restaurants. Played in a softball tournament ,so location was excellent and lots of parking .Great staff and very clean. New bar with very good prices on drinks and food with very fun Bar tender . Nice lounges to visit with friends and family .

« Surprisingly good night sleep »

A Hotel this close to an airport usually means a noisy evening. Not so. I believe I heard one plane all night. The pool and hot tub were very welcoming after driving all day. It is a good central location, easy in and out to all parts of Tucson and Southern, Az. The breakfast is excellent with many above par choices. Did I mention Green Valley (many nice golf courses) is only 20 minutes drive.

    4
« clean, well appointed room. standard BW »

The room rate was fair and the included breakfast was a nice touch. The breakfast was basic: eggs, sausage, cereal, etc. Tragically, the staff was gifted at the rare skill of allowing both breakfast area coffee urns AND the lobby coffee to be depleted just as it got busy. Overlooking that, my stay was as I expected from my usual BW experience.

    « beautiful surrounding & friendly staff »

Spent only one night here on a recent trip to Tucson. This hotel is located in a convenient location in a very nice area of Tucson. We stayed in a room on the third floor which was facing to the road but the traffic noise wasn't bother us. Our room was very nice with excellent amenities. The bedding is top notch with great sheets, pillows and comfortable mattress. we are really very impressive of hotel staff, they are super friendly and easy going. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone considering a stay in Tucson. We will definitely stay there again!!!

« Great "Hot" breakfast & service, close to airport »

Booked this hotel thru AAA for their great rates. Loved the place so much that I decided to cancell our original reservation and came back to stay on our way back. Pros: FREE HOT BREAKFAST including sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes; from 6AM FREE WIFI, if the connection is no good call the front desk, they will reboot the system for you and you should be fine. KING SIZE BED- Nice & fluffy Cons: A bit NOISY?! - cuz it's so close to the airport, til around 10PM... DOWNTOWN felt far-if you want to see, dine, shop in the downtown area, maybe reconsider. Went to see U of A football; wasn't easy. Our old GPS might be the reason, but always got us lost!

« Clean and inexpensive hotel very close to the airport. »

This hotel is so close to the Tucson airport. They provide shuttle service at no charge. The rooms were clean and comfortable beds for less than $60 a night. My flight was too early in the morning so I did not get to try the breakfast which is included.

« Nice hotel close to airport »

I stay here before 2 years ago and I was not impressed. I stayed here this week for one night before driving to Nogales. Things have improved. It was clean. Breakfast was acceptable. Internet is smooth. It is close to the airport with free shuttle. Rate is reasonable. Will be back if they run promotions again.

    « Great place! »

Great rate for a beautiful room! Shuttle to airport, starting at 5:00 a.m. Nice breakfast, and great customer service. I am amazed at how nice the room was. Many places deliver food. Felt very safe. Comfortable bed with many pillows. Recommend, even if you aren't using the airport.

    « Very comfortable overnighter »

Needed a room for a late arrival at the Tucson Airport. This room was very comfortable and the included breakfast was much nicer than some of the basic ones. I was disappointed that the free airport shuttle was not running when I arrived at midnight. I must have missed seeing the hours (5am-11pm) on the webpage. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient making sure my saving certificate was applied to my balance.

« Nice hotel with good staff »

Had a good stay at this BW. Staff asked whether we wanted first or second floor on arrival. We choose second unless they had something that opened to the courtyard pool. We had booked a king online. Front desk upgraded us to a suite right off the pool. That wasn't necessary but sure was nice. Extra star for this location. The room was spacious. It was two standard rooms converted to the suite. It was clean and nicely appointed. Two TVs, two baths, livingroom, mini fridge, king bed. Two sliders opening to the courtyard. Beds were comfy. Towels were big and fluffy. It was a nice room. Pool, courtyard and hot tub were well maintained with palm and orange trees adding to the ambiance. It was also a big space so lots of people could congregate without feeling crowded. It was empty when we visited so it was extra nice. We had one other interaction with staff when our door would not unlock. I went to the front desk. They radioed maintenance who arrived within a minute and fixed the door issue. Breakfast was typical BW fare. Nothing special here but also not lacking or just a continental quasi breakfast. The only downfall is the lack of food choices in the area. I can't blame the BW too much (though they apparently used to have a bar/restaurant on site that is now closed) but non fast food choices nearby are bad. All this considered I'd highly recommend this BW location.

    « Getaway »

We needed to get away from the Las Vegas mess, Tucson was the right place to go, and this Best Western was perfect for what we wanted--central for the attractions that we wanted to see in either direction--only trouble was finding eating establishments, not to many close by within a couple of miles.. Other then that, nice quiet peaceful place, rooms are good & clean.

    « Wake up ? .. Shuttle ? »

Location - great .. Physical attributes - satisfactory ( I am not really picky ) Service ... dreadful. Needed a shuttle back to the hotel after returning rental car - they gave me tel# of wrong hotel. Had 6:15 am flight - asked for 4am wakeup call ( after they asked if I needed a wake up call ) .. Never got one. "Prompt" 5 am shuttle .. is not so prompt ( and only got started after I went on and asked status )

« Comfortable airport hotel, with friendly staff »

We spent one night here before leaving on an early morning flight. Free drop off and pick up from TUS airport Very good free breakfast, eggs, bacon, hash browns, waffles, cereals, breads, juices, muffins, apples, yogurt, coffee, etc. Excellent, friendly staff at the front desk Clean rooms, amazing, comfortable bed, nice size TV, good wifi. The hotel also has a pool, and hot tub, plus a business center and gym. I Would have liked a bar/restaurant in the hotel. Since no restaurant, we walked to the R&R Grill at the Sheraton, about 7 minute walk. They offered to have the van drop us there, however, we decided we could use some exercise and walked there and back. This is an excellent restaurant, with a good bar. I'm happy we chose to venture out. I can recommend the Best Western Plus at Tucson airport, for it's closeness to the airport, it's friendly staff and the most comfortable bed!

    5
    « Excellent staff »

This hotel has a nice location as it it near restaurants. The rooms, the lobby are very adequate. Beds are comfy. The staff was more than kind and were anxious to please. Breakfast was wonderful. Although we did not use the pool, the area for lounging outside could use an update.

« Almost perfect except for one thing »

Beautiful building and grounds, well appointed facility, good parking, excellent breakfast, and convenient to the airport but failure to make the requested wake-up call on the day of the outgoing flight is the one serious shortcoming.

    « Great value »

We had a nice clean, quiet, large room with a comfy bed, good AC, nice furniture, fridge but no microwave, plush chair and an average size bathroom with adequate counter space. The price paid provided excellent value and staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good with lots of seating.

« No plane noise and lovely hotel »

Picked this hotel as a stop over as was easy to get to and from the interstate & call to see Xan Savier Mission whilst travelling from New Mexico to California. Very glad we did ? wished we had had longer to stay. We booked a Suite which was not much more expensive than a standard room. This was two hotel rooms joined? one as a bedroom and the other as a lounge area. There were two bathrooms as well which was very handy. It was nice to have some extra space having been on the road for several days. Our room opened up onto the pool area which was lovely with garden area with shaded seating. Good choice for breakfast. The old slight downside was very flimsy plastic cutlery. There was no bar or restaurant there ? it was due to open later in the autumn we were told as it was shown on the in-room information. We did get a discount voucher to the nearby restaurant in The Four Points Hotel.

« Arrived late so not much to reriew »

Late arrival so didn't use much except the ice machine. Beds were comfy. Room clean. Not too old. Not pricey at all. Staff nice. The tub/shower has that pesky mold. Don't touch. Seems a common thing in all the hotels we've used this trip. Big bath towels, contrasted to the itty bitty washclothes, like baby's use. Only one wash cloth but my wife has her own scrunchy. Breakfast the same as the the last BW

    4
« Room Not Available Until 6:30 PM »

Arrived after 5 pm and room type was not clean or available for check-in until 6:30 pm. Breakfast had way too much sugar and carbs. Eggs had fake cheese inside. No healthy cereal available; all were frosted with way too much sugar.

    « Convenient and Accomadating »

Quiet area for close to the Airport. Staff was friendly and willing to locate us in an area for ease of taking our little dog for walks. Close to restaurants and shopping. Rooms were clean and tidy (we are very particular). Will stay again.

« Very friendly staff and quite »

I was here because of a very early flight, and it was at the airport;; but the staff and the quality of the room; made it more than just a stop over. My room was clean and comfortable. I recommend for anyone that need a room and be close to the aireport or just to relax

    « Nice Hotel, but....... »

Nice looking hotel - clean and tidy, decor up to date, beds are comfortable. Wifi is non-existent and unless you're willing to hang around for a third party to look at it, it stays non-existent although truth be told our second night here, we did get a few blips of wifi. Front desk staff is always in a rush and not particularly cordial or welcoming. Breakfast was very nice & the woman staffing the breakfast area was very efficient. We reserved a room at the BW at the airport because it had received decent reviews and was a little less expensive. There are several other BWs in Tucson that we have visited in the past and we'll stay at those next time. Note that the hotel is definitely out near the airport on the edge of town, there are the typical chain restaurants nearby, but closest local owned restaurant was about 4 miles.

    5
« Luxury by the Airport »

This was a great location for being near the airport. Tucson was about 10 - 15 minutes away for finding great local Mexican food and shopping. Then come back to hotel for a quiet get away, nice Jacuzzi!

« Easy to make early flight »

BW+ Tucson Airport was closest accommodation to Airport for early departure. Gasoline stations and restaurants nearby. Prices most reasonable. All employees were friendly and personable. Elevator to second floor appreciated. Interior entry was preferred.
