Best Western InnSuites Tucson Foothills Hotel & Suites

We enjoyed our stay here last year. Our room was at the back of the hotel, but it didn't take long to get to the restaurant/pool area. Our room was comfortable, and it was nice to be able to park outside of our room, for handiness. We stayed here for 4 nights. It was great not only having free breakfast each morning, but the free, 2 drinks per person Happy Hour, each night. We haven't been to a place that has done that before, so it was great. Many people attended it, with tables and counter seats being full. They gave 2 choices of wine, or 3 or 4 choices of beer. Being that I can't drink alcohols, my hubby enjoyed mine too, and we would always take those ones back to the room's fridge. The hot Continental breakfast was typical of others we have been to, and great to have each morning. People should be thankful for it to be included and not complain! One morning, due to busy seating, we went outside to eat, at one of the tables, but it was cold out there, in winter. The staff were friendly in the restaurant, and one day a staff member spoke to me for awhile, as I was at the counter, and they stayed busy with their job. The pool area was nice, and my hubby used it for 2 days, while I was out shopping one day. I was at it once. If we were ever in Tucson again, we would stay here.

First off, I want to say that I found the special weekly rate almost unbelievable, it was so inexpensive, including daily breakfast and social hour drinks/snack (popcorn), and cookies at check-in. Breakfast included hot options--eggs, sausage or bacon, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, and cold options--cereals, muffins, toast, fresh fruit (very small oranges which were delicious, even though they looked less than), and a yogurt machine. Juices and coffee too! We fueled up for our many hikes and outdoor activities. The area was on the smaller side nut there were some tables outside that were usable when it wasn't too chilly. The lobby also offered coffee all day. The location was very good--near Tohono Chul Park, not far from Catalina State Park, very close to a great Mexican restaurant--Amelia's, and convenient to all of the other places we visited--Saguaro National Park West, Petroglyph Rocks, the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, the Univ. of AZ museums, 4th Ave. Street Fair, Tumamoc HIll, Sweetwater Wetlands Park, Sabino Canyon, Tumerico's Restaurant (another excellent recommendation). I loved seeing the Santa Catalina Mtns. so close! The room was initially a bit of a turn-off--older carpet--questionably clean, some soda splatter on the wall behind the desk, the desk chair fabric stained, and the shower faucet without an apparent hard turn-off. But a little Clorox wipes on the highly touched surfaces (and wall splatter) and a bath towel covering the chair, and we made a go of it. The large lighted mirror over the sink was very nice (one of the updates that was made). Our room faced the side street which was tree lined, with a couple Cooper's Hawks nesting there, and quiet. The A/C worked fine, although occasionally there was a smell of pot coming through the bathroom vent. Could have used a couple blankets for cooler nights as the coverlet was on the thinner side. We opted to call for service as needed, and reception was very quickly responsive with fresh towels, a mini sewing kit and emptying our trash cans when needed. We did need one of our keys reprogrammed a couple times, but it wasn't that inconvenient. Also used the laundry room once (no wait, even though there were 2 washers and 1 dryer), and filled my water bottle with ice from the ice machine daily. Alex, at the front desk was very friendly and especially helpful. They gave us some good recommendations in the area. We enjoyed the pool area on our last day--the warmest one, and had it almost to ourselves. We played on the single tennis court, with an adjacent basketball court, once. The tennis net/court needs a bit of attention as there was a fire ant nest in one service box, and the net had some holes and was sagging a bit in places. It was also a sad discovery to notice a couple homeless encampments just behind the court's back corner. Overall, the hotel provided us a good base, at an incredibly reasonable price, for a wonderful week enjoying Tucson! Thank you.

The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well (but was loud). The bed sheets and bathroom fixtures were white and appeared clean. That's where the praise ends. Everything else in the room was either black or brown, furniture, walls, counters - no way of telling if it was clean or not. The hand towel holder and the toilet tissue holder were coming off of the wall. In our room, the main light switch controls the fridge, TV and microwave so if you turn off the light, there goes your fridge and everything else along the wall. The tub drain was not working - taking a shower means you are standing in a pool of water. My key card stopped working in the middle of the stay. The walkway tiles in the common areas were cracked and broken. There was a motorcycle convention staying there, the attendees were kind and polite, however their 3 empty trailers took up 6 valuable parking slots (there were other parking options for these trailers close by) - we were unable to park close to our room. I've stayed at many BW hotels in the past - I don't expect high luxury but I do expect a pleasant experience. This was definitely not a pleasant experience, and I won't be staying at this BW again and will carefully reconsider staying at other BWs again.

Check in was extremely busy with several people waiting to check in. The guest attendant apologized for making us wait but there was no need for that. She was diligently working and to get people in their rooms efficiently and timely with a welcoming presence. The setting was lovely. Had we stopped earlier we may even have enjoyed a dip in the pool. It is an unexpected, lovely oasis in a very busy area. The Pool and hot tub looked inviting. Upon check in we were advised it was happy hour at the pool and we were welcome to a choice of wine or beer etc. even Non Alcoholic beer which was a pleasant surprise. This was just a wonderful benefit after a busy day. We were also dreading going back out on the busy road to find food. What a pleasant surprise to find the hotel had a cafe that served sandwiches and burgers and fries. The sandwiches were delicious and went well with our complimentary drink. The staff was friendly and helpful. Let me start the hotel was extremely busy so breakfast was extremely busy. But the attendant did a great job of keeping things filled and fresh. When I asked where the ice machine was, she graciously just got me ice. The staff obviously takes pride in their work. Truely, we had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, the lobby was inviting. Often times BW provides simple essential services. The room was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. This little oasis was a pleasant surprise providing everything we needed for the night at a very reasonable rate.

Taw rooms are old, outdated, and in general disrepair. Extension cords run behind couch and furniture to plug in lamps that didn't work. Outlet extenders use so more plugs could be just possible overloading the circuits. Old mismatched furniture throughout the room that had to be at least 30yesr old. The couch in the sitting room looked as though it was purchased at Goodwill. There is no sink in the bathroom but in the bedroom instead? No closet in room just an old wardrobe. The social hour was in a very small overcrowded room, and offered 2 small plastic cups of beer or wine, cocktails for an additional charge. The hotel advertises pet friendly, yet charged me $100 damage fee even though he did not damage. The room was all tile and had no carpet, yet was told charge was because it was not a pet friendly room. Overall one of the worst experiences I have had while traveling.

My mother and I attended a HIIT workout with Darian and it was amazing! Darian carefully adjusted the workout to each individual's abilities so that it was doable but still pushed us to our limits! Darian also demonstrated each movement and helped correct the movement if needed. If you are looking for a fun yet challenging workout, attend one that Darian instructs as he is highly motivating, knowledgeable, and fun!

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. King bed was amazing! Pool was clean! Enjoy social hour in the afternoon! And breakfast was great! Staff was friendly and kind! Overall we love staying here and will definitely book at Best Western again!!

We were very pleased with check in. We were upgraded and recognized as a member. The suite was spacious for us. It was 2 rooms with 2 big TVs, a nice sized bathroom with a toilet that flushed nicely, and a shower that always had hot water and good pressure. The vanity lit up for easy make up application. There was a small kitchen area with fridge and microwave. You could get cooking supplies at the office. Free, hot breakfast daily. It could get busy but there was outdoor seating too, plus once a month there was a managers bbq with food and entertainment. There were sometimes hotdogs, nachos and popcorn available with happy hour, 2 free drinks per person, wine, beer or soda. Cookies available at the office after 2pm (so good) plus free water. Loved the pool, temperature was just right. It's an older place, looked after, redone with ongoing repairs. We had 1 issue with our door not locking and it was taken care of asap. My husband only complaint was the bed could have been better. TJ Maxx and a dollar tree plus lots of restaurants close. We would stay again.

It was my gitlfriends 70th Birthday so we came to Tucson for her party. We made a reservation at the hotel from 2/29-3/5. They asked me when I checked in if I wanted room service and I said yes. The room was nice and clean and they had free breakfast everyday. When we came back to the room on 3/1 the room was serviced. The next 2 days the room was not serviced so I called the front desk and spoke to Patrick, the front desk agent and he was very nice and told me how sorry he was and sent up more towels and coffee. The next day on 3/4 my partner went down to breakfast and arrived back about 9:30am. A few minutes later the house keeper knocked on the door and I told her we were not showered yet and to come back later. About an hour later she came back and said she had to service the room right NOW and came barreling in the room and I was not even dressed yet. I called the front desk to complain and spoke to Jace Reddington the GM who was not helpful. He said with an attitude if I would like her to come back in 30 minutes and she does not speak english. I told him I am a paying customer and have traveled all over and have never been treated like this and hung up the phone. He called back and said that I have 30 minutes to leave his hotel. He put 2 seniors out in the street. I called 4 other hotels and they did not have any rooms avaible. We ended up having to stay in a resort which cost us $400.00 for the night. I did not get the service I paid for. He is saying that I belittled and abused his employees which I never spoke too. I have been in hospitality for 30 years and would never treat employees this way or a customer! I would never stay in a BEST WESTERN Hotel again. I am going to cancel my Best Western rewards.

Upon arrival at the hotel, the exterior immediately raised concerns, signaling a far cry from the polished images showcased online. The red flags started to unfold. During check-in, there was a peculiar requirement to sign a disclaimer against engaging in illegal activities, including drug use, a policy that, while understandable, hinted at the hotel's problematic history. I even asked the staff if it was a safe area; they hesitated, looked at each other, and were like, Yeah, yeah, it's a safe area. However, the true extent of the disappointment was realized upon entering our room. Within mere minutes of exploration, my toddler's feet turned an alarming shade of black from the filth on the floors, a clear testament to the lack of cleanliness. The situation further deteriorated with the discovery of wet floors, a pervasive and unidentifiable odor, and a sticky remote control, all contributing to an environment that felt neglected and unsanitary. As I unloaded my vehicle, I watched an abandoned building my hotel faced have multiple people come in and out, clearly engaging in drug use of various flavors. I watched a vehicle pull up right in front of me, a guest hand cash, and a clear bag with white powder being handed without even caring that I was watching them nonchalantly do a deal. Then, to top it off, I witnessed prostitutes solicit and go to the room of a guest. Aside from that, there were parties going on with loud music, with at least one room filled with over a dozen guests. To top it off, we quickly found out the bathroom door handle was broken, posing a significant safety risk for my toddler. When these issues were brought to the hotel staff's attention, their response was that they would send their staff to resolve the problem. I tried to explain that it's not something that you could fix due to how it was broken. Their staff showed up dressed unprofessionally without any name tags, walked to the bathroom door, jiggled it, and said there was nothing he could do. I immediately contacted the hotel's front desk to get a resolution. Despite the glaring health and safety concerns, they refused a refund, arguing that the room met their standards through a supposed 'three-check system', a claim that seemed implausible given the condition of the room. Attempts to resolve these issues were met with resistance, and the staff's insistence that the room was “perfectly okay” felt like a stark denial of the reality we were facing. This experience was not only disheartening but alarming, as it became evident that the hotel's management was more concerned with maintaining a facade than ensuring the well-being of their guests. The suspicion that the hotel has been bolstering its online presence with fake reviews and photos seems plausible, given the stark contrast between the promised experience and the reality. After all the nonsense, we just decided to leave and eat the cost. I packed up my whole family (pregnant wife, toddler, two cats, and a dog), and we got the heck out of there. It really was a big bummer considering nearly all the hotels were booked in town due to a convention. So we ended up having to drive in a rainstorm for 2 hours at 10 p.m. to find another hotel. The hotel staff should be ashamed of themselves. The owner is either checked out or is chill with running a slum motel. This place sucks!

We stayed two nights here on an extended SW USA road trip. It has a convenient location with easy access to major streets and roads for getting around. It's a multi building complex, but with the provided map, we soon figured out where we were. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable with a quite firm mattress and good pillows. Shower controls and shower head should probably be replaced but they functioned well enough to get us through daily showers. Free cocktails were offered daily but timing wasn't such we were able to partake. Breakfast was really quite good with a nice variety of hot and cold items. It was served in the little on-site cafe, so seating was a bit limited, but it worked out fine. It seems a bit odd when you first check in, but the staff are very friendly and more than helpful.

,poorest stay I have had in a long time.old run down facility, broken walkways, cracked pavers, cracks in foundations, leaks. Promised everyday breakfasts/ happy hour. Not. Bad beds. Poor value. Make sure to ask to seee room first. Breakfast good, hot. The only good thing about the stay.

Room was not vacuumed. Light snacks consist of popcorn and maybe nachos with imitation cheese. Pool and hot tub were nice. Really liked two room suite with Cook top. Cooking pans should be bigger than four inches! Tiny pot to boil noodles in.

For the price I expected something a bit nicer. The “gym” was a disappointment. It had a few machines that were in a questionable state along with an incomplete set of dumbbells. We reported a problem with the shower curtain and the issue wasn't addressed

We have for the most part always stayed at this hotel when we are in Tucson. We really like the feel of it, sort of an older style with the center courtyard, but does not feel old with respect to the rooms or amenities. Very good full breakfast and also a nice social hour with complimentary drinks. Nice King room with a bar, stools, sink and even a small cooktop if you wanted to cook anything. Comfortable bed and clean room.

Breakfast was great. Service was great. The room was dusty and dated. The bathroom door drug on the floor because it was too long (no attention to details). There was stove in my room, but no pans or utensils. Bedding was fresh and clean, but the towels were rough and thin.

I understand the need to adjust prices. But going from 70 dollars a night to over 300 for the same rm is extremely greedy To me. That's what makes people stop coming to Tucson for the mineral show. Is practice is wide spread all over the city, not just here during the mineral show time. Keeps people away

The property was spotless! Very clean and they were mopping 2xs a day. Did not see ONE bug! Everything was in place and tidy! The cookies and free drinks daily were a very nice touch and not expected!

I love Best Western! They've got a fantastic membership program that saves you a ton of money when you must stay in a hotel for many, many nights. The staff is also always helpful and friendly--never ran into any staff member that was unfriendly. Overall a terrific, affordable place to stay that feels like a second home when you must stay overnight somewhere.

Would not honor reservation, I posted a negative review. Did not stay there but was charged for the stay. Management refused to refund unless i deleted review mgmt response publicized my personal info

Staff was great! Our king room had all we needed. Liked the sink and toilet were separate. Refrig and microwave was appreciated. Internet worked well. Good choices for breakfast and well stocked. We enjoyed the pool. Not all of the jot tub jets worked but still functional.

Great hotel, great value, friendly staff, updated rooms, their 2 room suite is VERY nice. Wished the hot tub stayed open at least until 11pm but I understand people can be noisy when others are sleeping. Parking is great especially on backside of hotel for those of you like me with a long bed truck. THE HOT BREAKFAST ROCKS!!! Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, rolls, bagels, bread, fruits, plenty of seating area and opens at 6:30am.

I've been out here for work and this has been the best hotel I have stayed at so far I work out of town most of the time after landing here I have become a bestwestern member and would not choose any where else to stay

We stayed in the 2 room jacuzzi suite. Room was clean and comfortable. I like the fact that every room has a door leading directly outside. Jacuzzi was awesome. Breakfast was good. Only issue was that 2 out of the 3 ice machines were out of order which wasn't a big deal. We just ran across the street and got a bag of ice.

I have never had such an experience in a hotel. I knew when I walked into my room I should have walked out. I could feel the dirt on the floor. The bed felt like it was 20 years old and the linens and towels were as well. The grounds were unkempt and dirty. I had a 3 day reservation but left the next morning.

Staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. Price was right! I will go back. Close to some restaurants . Checkin was prompt. Lady at the front was friendly and helpful. The happy hour was just right. Never had time to try the breakfast though. I bet it was great though.

Staff was friendly on check in and for breakfast. Room had a few problems. Mattress was older and stained as well as the curtains and bathroom tile. With all curtains and doors closed, there was still a fair amount of light coming in from the outside. Overall it was ok, but could use some deep cleaning.

This is an older property with cheerful attitudes and gracious hearts! It is further from I-10 than realized and I was disenchanted at first. Our reservation was upgraded on arrival and they offered 2 free beer/wine beverages per person during a happy hour. Breakfast was well done and offered 1/2 cut saran wrapped grapefruit! I didn't see this offered anywhere else! Pleasant surprise! The room was ample space with wet bar and 2 burner glass top stove as well as the common frig and microwave. We discovered an amazing Italian Restaurant nearly just across the street Giuseppe's Ristorante Italiano is an amazing beautiful meal! Lots of road construction but a true gem in the hiding!

I have been staying here for years and highly recommend it. This hotel is clean, quiet and near some real good places to eat. It is far enough away from Tucson so you do not have to deal with the city but still only a 15 min drive away. The staff are wonderful and always makes me feel welcome. The rooms are nice and big. I will continue to stay here anytime I visit Tucson.

Although on this stay I didn't use the restaurant. I have in the past, many many times and it is super... Fenix at the front is always the best... Plenty of parking. The lobby is well appointed and there are plenty of work stations should you need/want them

Wife and I stayed here 8 nights . The check-in, cleanliness of room, and breakfast & happy hour could not have been better ! Would like to give a great shout-out to Amy Granillo, Tiffany Penman, Moe and Solomon who took care of use during our breakfast and happy hour ; they are the BEST ! Also, the location of the property was centrally located to downtown, Tucson Mountains, Santa Catalina Mts. and to many hiking trails and especially to my favorite horseback riding stable ! I would have a hard time finding a property with all these amenities at this price ! Hope to return here again someday !

A little dated but clean and nice. Very considerate staff. Road outside made it a little difficult to enter. Provided us with a room upgrade so we did not need to use the stairs. Which was very good for our older knees.

The best western inn suites Tucson is a great location. We booked a king suite, which was well appointed large and came with a half kitchen. The Jacuzzi bath is an awesome and newly renovated perk. There was a free happy hour which was pretty cool other than the random drunk, homeless guy that crashed it, but that was not the hotel's fault. It is a bit far from the freeway, but worth a bit of a detour if you were in the area.

Clean and very comfortable. Realistic accommodations and relaxing and private. Service and personnel we very nice and accommodating and close to the Tucson hospital. Privacy was very comforting and parking was perfect.

The rooms were filthy and shabby. Jasmine at the front desk didn't seem to want to help us at all and even told my partner to sit down so she could help other people when he went to talk to her about our issues and ask to cancel the next night.

The rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We attended the social hour - was a great way to unwind after a long day. The breakfast was good and the morning staff working there were exceptional. The pool was warm and we would have used the hot tub, but the bottom was full of dirt/sand/rocks. They are also doing renos on their rooms!

This hotel is an excellent hotel for the price and all you get. We stayed 3 nights. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows however, were very hard. The service was excellent. All staff were extremely helpful, and very friendly. The food selection in the breakfast bar was good and the hot food was plentiful and hot. The 2 free drinks each night we stayed was a nice bonus. The locations was good as there were lots of amenities around you. We did have to drive a bit to our destinations for day trips, but the hotel was close enough to highways etc to be able to stay away from downtown traffic etc. although the room was very clean and has had some updates, it could use a few more. It was dark and could use a much lighter colour to brighten it up and the sofa bed couch, was very uncomfortable to sit on. We didn't use it for sleeping. I would definitely stay here again.

We stay all the time at Best Westerns (4-6 times a year throughout the western half of the US for past 30 years) and never had such a bad experience than we did here. If I notice an employee not in the best of mood, not happy, etc I always try to go the extra mile and put a smile on their face but the employee that checked us in (evening on a Monday) was so rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate and seem like they hated their job that they didn't want to be there. Felt like we were disrupting clerk away from their phone! I felt like we shouldn't be there checking in. Not a very warm welcoming especially for being a long time member of BW. So fine, we finally got our keys (refused to grant us our special request to meet our needs but came with the agent that didn't want to do their job anyway) and we were only there one night so made the best of what we were given and couldn't wait to get out the next morning. Then we get to our room which reeked of smoke despite being a non smoking hotel. The room was dirty as if it hadn't been clean but the trash was removed, bed was made, sheets were really old and dingy and towels had stains on them but were folded and hung. Everything was dusty, dried up urine on seat we disinfected it before using and there were ants in the shower. Hmmm.. But again, just one night. Luckily we always carry a spare set of sheets for these type of situations which we hadn't ran into on our entire 10 day road trip (this was our last night on trip on way home). They allow smokers to smoke outside of their room so when you have smokers on both sides of your room (one who doesn't smoke) their smoke fumes enter your room when you open the door. And they allow loud people talking, laughing outside til 1am. There is no quiet policy. Its always great to hear people enjoying their trip but not til 1am when others close by are trying to sleep. They call you in the morning to remind u you are checking out and the time you must be out. Wow! On a good note, the hotel is in a nice location / area and has potential if they have staff that care about their job and customers. There are much better places to stay at in Tucson - so check around. BW Royal Sun Inn and Suites, Hotel McCoy, Fairfield, Marriot, 3 Palms (just renovated, very nice and inexpensive) and a few others. We just wanted to try a new place for us, but that was a mistake. Now we know not to ever stay here again.

This was the WORST Best Western I have ever stayed in and will not be returning to the chain after this experience. The room was filthy, we found dirty clothes from the previous occupants inside the bed sheets. The tub was full of mud. The walls are paper thin. No elevator and when traveling with a 90 pound dog it made it extremely difficult. Requested a handicap accessible room but were told they were all booked and that we should have booked on advance. We booked a month in advance! The food was cold, stale, and looked like leftovers. We tried to raise our concerns to the hotel staff and they just shrugged their shoulders and pretty much said they aren't going to do anything about it and there's nothing we can do bc each hotel is independently owned.

This is third time I've stayed here in past couple of years and cannot beat what you get for the price. Sure it's on the upper lower end of the price range but I do not need a fancy hotel. Rooms are good size - I get king bed with couch, work table, coffee table, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Pool when warm out. Free breakfast is acceptable but heck can't expect based on room rate. Have happy hour gathering in evening with couple free drinks and you can order food. Will be back here in May 2023 for Grand Daughters HS Graduation.

Located within walking distance of the Post Office and directly across the street from a shopping plaza, this motel was top-notch. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and dining staff) were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fresh and hot daily. Social Hour in the evening for adults including 2 free drinks and live music. Let's not forget the beautiful pool area for everyone to enjoy. I'm glad I picked this location; I was not disappointed.

The place looked good on line, but after getting there the building and rooms are pretty run down. Not what I expected from a $90 a night room. Bath room looked to have mold around the tub and floor. I'll look elsewhere next time.

Absolutely horrible service and disrespectful general manager! He did not give back a $100 deposit though he approved of a photo ID being used, and stood “waiting to give me an answer” as i missed the bus multiple times. When checking in, our card did not work, and the replacement did not work! If you want horrible service and to lose your deposit, come to best western!! Would not recommend to anybody, general manager and front desk

We were very disappointed with our stay. Our room was very dated, noisy and cramped. The mattress was too soft and uncomfortable and the pillows we're lumpy. I could not sleep during our 3-night stay. This hotel needs lots of updating. We will not return.

They told me their jacuzzi tubs go through a 3hour sanitation after each guest leaves. I doubt it even gets a wipe down. The jets are covered in black , pinkish slime along with an abundance of shaved hair particles. The sink had a partial soap wrapper stuck to it. Floor was dirty-sticky. Walls had balls of dust clear across ceiling and onto the drapes. I have pictures and video! Yet Management would not take accountability and instead came at me aggressively . He said he'd sue me for slander if I posted the pictures and a review. He was angry I reported it to corporate and kicked me out of the hotel immediately while he harassed me. My son stuck his tongue out at him and he told my seven year old he was having his mother arrested and that CPS was going to take him away! He is unprofessional and inappropriate. The police came to make a report. Joe manager wouldn't give his last name , a receipt or a refund. Told me I'd have to wait. The best thing that can happen here is that Pima County Health Dept. shuts them down to prevent disease. Hopefully I can add the pictures here.

Every time we visit Tucson this is the hotel we stay at. We love the location, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the the facility is pet friendly. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. And breakfast was probably one of the best we had recently. All for a great price. So whether you're headed to Tucson or just passing through for the night. This place is the spot to rest

Maintenance has been neglected for years. The instant I opened the door I was overwhelmed by cigarette smoke. After how many years since it's been illegal to smoke indoors? I know it's at least 20. In all that time they couldn't clean & repaint the walls and replace the filthy carpet? Many stairs throughout the property are made of bricks that are uneven and broken. One staircase had very steep and slanted stairs with no handrail. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Best Wedtern needs to get on the ball!

A very good choice in Tucson: room clean and tidy, speedy check-in, complimentary breakfast, working swimming pool, social area, good price, what's more? 100 dollars deposit required (in cash as well!). I would suggest this place: breakfast is rich.

This is my third review of this Hotel and if anything they get better. Very clean, large rooms. Property is quiet and clean. It is about 10 minutes from downtown Tucson so it is easy to get into the city. Plenty of good places to eat within 5 minutes. The staff at this Hotel are great. They are friendly, helpful and make me feel very welcome every stay. If you are near Tucson I would highly recommend this Hotel. It is that good.

I have stayed at this BW many times and the quality is going downhill. It IS inexpensive, and if you just need a place to stay one night passing through, it is OK. But that's about the only positive thing I have to say about it.

Worse service ever! The customer service was the worse . Harassment for something I did not do I was not there. Also, I was put next to the maid quarters where the washing machines and dryers were at. Just horrible experience

My Husband is undergoing a very large cancer surgery and it's 4 hours from home so I booked with this location. The room hadn't been cleaned, long black hairs all around and in the tub, towels had some kind of debris all over them, my tennis shoes are sticking to the floors, they haven't been mopped in God knows when, dried food stuck to the counters and stove top. I spent ONE night in my socks inside and there's NO amount of bleach that will make them white again. I had to call about our upstairs neighbors, 4 dogs and several kids crammed into their room and they were running/jumping up and down until after midnight, the front desk did nothing about either situation, said they would tell the Manager.

This hotel was in a handy location, had a nice sized room, the pool was a good size and the breakfast and coffee was excellent. Perfect spot for an overnight stay on our family holiday - there's plenty of meal options in the local area as well for evening meals

Meh. First impression started with a 'slow, labored' check-in. Rooms were not ready at 4 p.m., so there was a wait. When we finally get settled in our room, I discovered water on the floor under the fridge. Maintenance to the rescue with towels. The front desk offered to switch rooms, but we were already unpacked. The room wasn't really clean, the floors and bathroom were visibly dirty. Repairs and upgrades are needed. My husband said that it looked like they used high schoolers to do the finish work. Not as well put together as it needs to be. Guess you get what you pay for. The best thing about this place is its breakfast! Kudos to PJ's!!!

If you book thru a third party, like Booking, the hotel may not give you any BW points for your stay. But they don't volunteer that in advance. Other wise the hotel was well worth the inexpensive price I paid.

1st was put into the wrong room and was over charged. I tried for weeks for them to fix it and contacted CS for them to help but apparently the hotel has to be the one to fix it and the managers are supposedly never there to do so. Once it was finally fixed the manager promised to add points for 3 free nights for the over a month hassle of trying to get this fixed but was never followed through with. I've had nothing but problems with this hotel with their lies, over charging me, false claims, I even had to tell them to go pull up their own cameras. I don't recommend because CS can't even fix any problems you have because they have to get ahold of someone at the hotel and even they can't get a response majority of the time.

Our stay at this BW was refreshing. Our room was clean and pleasantly decorated. Despite the stressfulness of what brought us to Tucson, the hotel's warmth created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and allowed us to really relax and even get much needed rest/sleep.

This place is straight out of the 70's or 80's. The pictures do not represent!! Th lobby is lovely but rooms are disgusting. We actually left without staying!!! The stench was of the room “freshener” used in 1970's motels. Carpet looked to have never been replaced. My husband was on the fence, I said I would sleep in the car. He turned on the a/c and the stench became worse. The clincher was when I turned back the ugly brown bedspread and sheet to discover evidence of bedbugs and a pee stained mattress. We left at 8:30 on the evening without trying to get a refund to try to find another option. Just don't!!!!

We actually have used this Best Western each Tucson trip we've had because of how kind and helpful the staff are. They truly go out of their way to help us when we come. This trip we were unfortunately unable to continue our stay due to some unforseen circumstances. They did what they could to help us. I am grateful for their help and will book here again in the future

My first time at this property. I wanted something quiet outside of busy Tucson. This was perfect. A short drive to downtown. The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable.The rooms are clean and spacious. Lots of good eats nearby and a restaurant on the property. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it and I will be staying here from now on when I visit Tucson.

This hotel was comfortable had everything I needed for my stay. Best Western team was professional and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel. When I walked in to check in I was greeted and given my room. The internet works perfectly, and the size of the room was excellent. Thank you Best Western. I will be staying again soon.

My son, my father, and myself had a great stay for a week. The location was great for access to the Saguaro National Park and the Desert Museum. The pool was super welcoming after a hot day of hiking.

Located in a combined commercial and residential area on Oracle Road off Highway 77, the Best Western InnSuites Tucson Foothills is, given its exterior-only entrances and lack of elevators, more motel than hotel, but it has several hotel-like amenities that can help make for a comfortable stay. While the front desk and lobby are in a roadside building, the buildings with guest rooms are set back from the busy street, so the place is quiet in the evening. Our king room was clean and roomy enough, the plumbing, air conditioning, appliances, flat screen television and complimentary wireless Internet were all in good working order, and the bed was comfortable. The room also had enough electrical outlets to charge our many electronic devices. The one amenity that was not provided was hand lotion, so keep that in mind if you plan on staying here. The area where both the complimentary breakfast and evening reception are housed is located in the middle of the property next to the pool. The building is rather small and can fill up quickly with guests. NOTE that in the evening they also sell food there; it's a simple menu, but it is convenient if you don't feel like going out. The breakfast service, in addition to the usual “continental breakfast” items, also has hot food like scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles. We were in the area to visit Saguaro National Park, and from this property it was only about a 20-minute drive to the entrance to the Tucson Mountain District of Saguaro NP (NOTE that from the entrance it's an additional 20-30 minutes of driving to reach the Visitor Center). The nightly rate was reasonable for comparable properties in the area. All in all, we had a very satisfactory stay at the Best Western InnSuites Tucson Foothills and can recommend it to others.

For the most part the stay was great. The breakfast and happy hour were most welcomed and good. The room worked great for us, clean and comfortable. There was noise for people and cars outside which was annoying but tolerable. I would stay here again.

I asked for handicapped room. Their idea of this is a shower chair. No safety rails, low toilet seat. In the dark, I could not find beveled curb. Had to call house boy to get my husband up curb. Breakfast was very good, once I called front desk to find out where wheelchair ramp was.

This is the second time we have stayed at this Best Western hotel in the last six months. Rooms are clean and employees are helpful and very friendly. Great breakfast buffet includes hot items. Great location, close to downtown and Sabino Canyon.

I have stayed at this location in the past and every time the stay has been nice. I would like to see the jacuzzi be updated at some point. It wasn't hot enough and the jets barely worked. The upgrades to the rooms were ok. But the painting inside the room was a little off, like it was rushed. The couch in the living room wasn't comfortable, but we made due. I will stay here again.

Front desk canceled my reservation upon arrival. Hotel rebooked the reservation at a higher rate. Advised hotel front desk, he refused to let me rebook it myself. I was over charged about $20. Asked hotel to adjust the price they said they would adjust half of it. $10 ! I am not sure why the hotel was so hard up for money it seems strange. I have to be in Tucson again. I told the manager it seems silly to loose a customer over $10 he said he didn't care. So here is my review since they don't care.

I stayed here. I would not stay there again, Hotel employee made a mistake they didn't know how to fix it. Waited for hotel management, no returned phone calls. Called in again got current GM they didn't fix the issue and didn't care. Seems like previous management was not good and current management is not good. I have to be in Tucson again but I will not stay here.

This BW has been let go. They need to upgrade the maintenance. I have stayed there 25-30 nights in the past. But that was 20 + years ago. It was a really nice property. Hopefully it can be again. It is one step away from being a dump now.

The stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff did an excellent job of the entire experience of having the room available, morning breakfast and front desk assistance. We also looked forward to the social hour they had for the guest everyday from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.

My stay at the Best Western in Tucson Arizona was the pleasant one the workout room was great all the breakfast was great the location was in a convenient place the rooms were very clean the staff very courteous I have nothing but good things to say about my stay at the best Western in Tucson Arizona with they have someone making this on the premises other than that everything else was great the breakfast and this day the guy got a great deal for the money

Stayed 3 nites, room was never made up. We were told that we had to request the room be made up. Mattresses were very comfortable. While surface appearance was clean, we had cock roaches. Behind the bathroom door hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Breakfast was more than satisfactory with many choices.

Run down property. Stairs are very dangerous. Beds seem to be old and very soft. Bathroom is quite small. For the price we paid for our room we expected much more. Our view was a parking lot facing an abandoned boarded up building. Not worth the money.

We stayed in a King Suite on the upper level corner and it was very spacious and quiet. The room layout was a bit funky but clean and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again. The staff was courteous and helpful. They even gave us a couple of free drinks at their nightly happy hour.

How did this place ever get a 3 star rating? It is in desperate need of renovations. It is WAY OVERPRICED. My room smelled like dog pee and male armpit odor. My feet were dirty from walking on the carpet. The sheets were stained and when I asked to have them changed I was told no because it was 3:15 pm and housekeeping was off duty. Despite asking for a ground level floor and checking in early in the day, It was not honored. There are 21 steps to the 2nd floor and no elevator. No water, fruit, or yogurt was available during my stay. The shower hot water is scalding. Prostitution and illegal drug use is common and tolerated on the premises. And, of course, no option to recycle.

Foolishly we thought expensive might mean good. The place was old, noisy, stained, with poor fixtures and extremely poor use of space. Stay away! The staff was okay, hard working and did their best. But they couldn't compensate for the complete inadequacy of the room.

Good breakfast--included scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, potatoes, bagels/breads, cereal, and yogurt. Clean rooms (if a bit dated). Hot shower. We used the pool and the fitness center and were happy with both. Thanks!

We stayed at this hotel because we thought it was great but it was a let down. First of, the room we stayed in was very dirty and had trash under the couch bed. Next, we did not get the room we booked because they said it was not available even though it was. Lastly, atlest the breakfast area was good.

The walls in the room are paper thin. Not exaggerating. Be prepared to wake up at 0600 every morning by someone talking loudly outside or pushing luggage. Oh and you can hear every time the person above you flushes or turns on the water for a shower. I had to take garbage out myself multiple times because they only do housekeeping at the guest request (which I found odd, especially since I booked 5 nights). And the one time we did ask for new towels, we did not receive them until calling a second time about 5-hours later in the day. The staff are friendly, but I just could not handle the noise and being woken up so early each morning. Plus there were several guests smoking right outside their rooms and the scent of smoke lingered into my room despite the door and window being closed. It was terrible.

The room was not a good layout - no place to put the Toiletries at all, lots of bugs coming up the shower drain and elsewhere - looked new on the Internet but it looked like it belongs on route 66, No light hardly on the outside walkways, we will never recommend this place to anyone.

Staff is very friendly. Room was nice. Couch needs better cushions. Hard to get off of. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were too. Fridge needs to be leveled but got nice and cold. Would have been nice if the microwave had a 10 key pad. Room had a stove top but no pots or pans. Plenty of storage places. The jacuzzi had an issue the 1st night but staff fixed it the next morning very quickly. The bedroom needs air circulation when the jacuzzi is on. It got really hot and took a long time to cool back down. Also a fan or something when sleeping would be nice. Make sure you check out the happy hour. They have fresh movie style popcorn for free. We would happily stay here again.

Three nighst in Tucson for meetings. Had a two room suite and staff not very attentive to their own notes. Apparently at this place they want you to call every morning if you want maid service. When we checked in we told them yes we wanted room service for all three days, lady checking us in noted it on our room. Next day no service, went in to office ,same lady argues with us and tells us about policy for service and calls us liars when we told her we had requested it on our check in. Back in our room we begin to empty trash and collect dirty towels to go get clean ones when she calls on room phone and makes a feeble attempt to apologize that she did find on her notes that yes we had requested maid service for our stay. Very bad customer service when you literally call your customers liars. Last night of our stay we also noted cockroaches in kitchen area of our suite, very disgusted but it was our last night there. Don't think we want to stay here again, until you rid yourselves of that staff lady and cockroaches.

This property is set back a little from State Route 77, but with a recent remodel of the rooms, it is worth booking a stay here. Located close to the NW side of Tucson (Oro Valley), and the Catalina Foothills, plus not too far from downtown, this is a great location. Plenty of restaurant options are within walking distance too.

This is an older hotel but is clean and comfortable. Offered food in the evening which was a nice surprise and was delicious. Only downside is there are no elevators but staff is accommodating if 5hat is an issue. Excellent value for price.

Booked this particular BW, because of its location to where we needed to be. We were only staying one night, so we just wanted a clean, somewhat comfortable hotel room for the night. We only used the room, none of the amenities. Big, dirty disappointment. Fingerprints and smudges on the bathroom door and trim- we are talking, multiple weeks of fingerprints. In the kitchen area: food splatters all over the wall. Stuffed between the sofa and the wall (a half foot gap): a bag of trash. Climbing into bed, two of our four pillowcases had stains. The sheets were dingy, pilled, and also stained. The blanket was stained. The only linen not stained, was the top cover. The towels were miniature, slightly larger than a hand towel, I swear, and thin. After witnessing the stains of the bedding, I was nervous to use the towels on my face. And why mismatched brands of soaps in the bathroom? A kitchen area, but no dishes, dishcloths or towels, or even dish soap? A pullout bed with no bedding? This place was a disappointment, and we really weren't expecting much. Obviously management isn't using the hotel income to update as needed. Once a linen is stained beyond repair, it needs to be retired. And to add to the neglect of the owner, they have negligent housekeepers. The marks on that wall and door were ridiculously passed over. If it slipped the housekeepers view, it definitely should have been caught by the head housekeeper. Won't recommend. Won't return.

Very dirty rooms the tub was covered in muck as was the sheets and curtains. A vent was falling off the wall and left over old food in the fridge. So gross, not what I was hoping for out of a presidential suite

Booked online and was a super simple process. When I arrived was charged a $100 "authorization " in case I smoked or damaged the room. Upon entering the room, it was apparent to me since I am a non-smoker that someone had smoked in this room previously. Called the front desk and was offered another room, but we declined. I just wanted it noted that we were not smoking in this room. However, woke up with a terrible headache the next morning. But who knows if that was from the room smell or the fact that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The pillows felt like sleeping on rocks. Think I would have been more comfortable in my car! The air temperature is challenging to control. It was either freezing you out or when the unit was off, the room was too warm. We had to go to the front desk to pick up an extra blanket. The sheets on the bed were extremely thin., but clean.. The room looks like they tried to renovate with the cheapest options available. Didn't stay to shower or use other amenities. We checked out a day early. Nice will not return to this property.

My stay at the Best Western InnSuites Tucson Foothills Hotel & Suites was fabulous!! The executive suite was wonderful. The only thing I could say to improve that would be that the bathroom should have had a sink (to wash hands) and a mirror., instead of going to the bathroom and then, going into the bedroom and washing my hands in there. For a woman, we like privacy. In the bathroom, we get lots of that, not in the bedroom that we share with our husband or any other person we are sharing the bedroom with. That would be my only complaint. The service was excellent. Your Manager, Victor Urizabel was very kind, helpful and very caring about our needs! You have an awesome Manger there! The cleaning staff was also very good and helpful. I would love to come back again.

Only "problem" is parking - some problem with neighboring establishment - but front dest was very helpful on telling where to park. Receptionist at check-in - very hospitable. Room was spacious and quiet. Excellent TV. Bed was comfortable. Room very clean. Used the pool - some renovation going on - but bery clean. Breakfast was excellent - very friendly receptionist..

We stayed here for 4 days, and the experience was average. The positives were location, staff was excellent, hotel was quiet, and breakfast was good. The negatives are very dated facility, in need of serious updating, bugs around the outside of faculty (not hotel's fault however would be nice if the dead ones would be picked up.) Bed was comfortable, and excellent TV choices. Breakfast was very good, with eggs sausage waffles, cereals,yogurt etc... Oh yes, great coffee! Over all was a decent experience. It is not the Ritz, but you get what you pay for. In my opinion, excellent choice for a budget hotel. I would recommend.

Check in was very quick. The restaurant located within the hotel was actually very accommodating with 2 free drinks during happy hour. The room was updated and very clean. Break the following morning was great for someone who had two too many martinis the night before.

The hotel staff is friendly, but not very helpful. The people in the room next to us had a loud party and were drinking and smoking outside our window. We called the front desk 3 times and they said they would address it, but never did. I was given a discount at checkout when I complained. The pool and the cafe are nice and they offer free drinks and snacks. It was clean, but I'm not sure I would stay here again.

Really nice people but place needs work...kitchen floor sticky; grounds need cleaning; window so old rain came in; shower fixture handle didn't work. Nice they give you 2 free beer/wine but clubroom filled with boxes, so no place to sit and NO atmosphere. Appreciated the discount when I check out and told them no hot water for a shower but..... We go to Tucson all the time, will NOT stay again

Just Ok for a one night stop The counter (where the “kitchen” sink is) Was dirty from previous guests. Crumbs of food dropped on top of the refrigerator door had not been removed from someone previous stay, a bottle cap in the corner of the counter had not been picked up by the cleaning crew. That part of the room was only glanced at By the cleaning staff.

Very satisfied with the Tuscon Best Western. Hassle free internet reservations, fast check in, clean room with a clean toliet and shower! We didn't use the pool or weight room, so no comment on those.

Keep Driving! We booked online relying on AAA recommendation. The place was disgustingly filthy. I was concerned that the hallway was dirty, but that was NOTHING compared to the room! Check out the few pictures I took! There was food along the walls and under the edges of the platform bed. That grossness was far surpassed by the bloody bandaid on the floor of the bathroom! If that is Best Western's idea of enhanced cleaning due to Covid-19, you're better off sleeping in your car at a rest stop! I demanded our non-refundable prepayment back, which was readily given. We stayed at the new, CLEAN Hampton Inn in Maranna

I booked through Expedia, prepaid in full, Manager would not let us check-in over some issue he had with my valid Arizona Drivers License, and then the Manager kept the money and did not authorize a refund. Where I come from they call this theft!

The overall experience of my stay there was decent. A decent room for a decent price. We definitely liked the complimentary breakfast which we utilized. there was a couple doing adult things mid day with the door open which was disappointing

My daughter and I recently stayed in the hotel. It was horrible! I have stayed in many Best Westerns. The photos and AAA rating is not accurate. The maintenance in the rooms is horrible as was the cleanliness!!!!! I have never stayed in a Best Western this dirty before! The first room they gave us the sheets and all the blankets had stains every were. The manager came up to the room and apologized. He did give us another room but this room was not any better! When I pointed out the stains on the bedding in the new room he said, " It's hard to keep white things clean." ???? We did stay two nights but I wanted others to know about our experience so that they do not have to go through what we went through. When I go back out in August...I will not stay there for sure!

This is an old, noisy, and run down hotel. The picture on Trip Advisor does not adequately reflect this hotel. Best Western needs to completely revamp this location. The rooms are dated and it gives you an unclean feeling!

Bathroom was not clean, lighting in room poor, toilet ran all night, diner was extremely slow, and location had a lot of noise from surrounding businesses. The beds were comfortable and clean thankfully

We always try to book this hotel when staying Tucson. Employees are very pleasant and professional. The rooms are very clean as well as the property. The full breakfast and social hour is great. Location of property is convenient for whatever your plans are in Tucson

The room was dirty and gross. The shower backed up immediatly and I was standing in ankle deep water and other disgusting stuff. The shower took forever to drain while I stood there in filth and I had to shower in very short spurts in oder to get myself clean. The otheres in my paty had the same problem. The breakfast and happy hour were the only redeming features and the two staff members were great. The pool was nice. I stayed here four years ago and it was much different. I was very disappointed.

This hotel is not worth the money. The bed skirt was disgusting. It clearly had never been washed. The sheets were dirty. There was food on the floor and the carpet had not been vacuumed. The counter was sticky. There was hair in the shower. There was a piece of toilet paper stuck to the bathroom door. The bathtub faucet dripped horribly. We complained when we checked out and all they offered us was 20$ off ONE NIGHT.

My wife and I stayed at this Best Western for a couple of nights. It wasn't a perfect room, but overall, for the price we paid, we were happy with the value we received. The room came with a fridge and a microwave. There was a 2-burner stove top, but we didn't get to test it out. There were only 2 bath towels, which seemed stingy, but we knew we just had to call up housekeeping when we needed more. The Complimentary Breakfast consisted of a bag of items: apple, yogurt, granola bar, can of juice, and a muffin. Perhaps when the Covid era is over, they may go back to a breakfast with hot items. I don't know. Bed was decently comfy. Free WiFi.

We have spent many nights in Best Westerns in other parts of the world and until now have always been satisfied with our stays. This Best Western was a great disappointment. Lacked security measures. We reserved a double queen for two nights and only received on hand towel, two bath towels, no bath soap and one small hand soap. Walls were dirty, ran out of hot water, and out side entrance deck needed to at least be swept. Guest in next room were in nd out of room until 2 AM and very loud. They looked like a group of teenagers.

In first room there was noticeable leaking from roof called and received a different room. The first night was unremarkable and nice. Second and third night there was so much noise from all neighbors walls are so thin. Second morning spilled something on bed and called to desk I explained and was told they would bring clean bedding. Left for the day came back at night and old bedding still there.

I enjoyed my time here, The hotel is clean, our room was very spacious. We picked the suite. had a nice balcony, and we enjoyed the mountain view. This place is close to all kinds of places to eat. we used the jacuzzi, it was fine, we did go and get the 2 drinks at happy hour, last time we were there they had snacks, this time they didn't. But it was all ok

Phone cord running across floor HVAC that comes with special instructions because it is in disrepair Overall, this strikes me as a place where the owners attempt to do everything as cheaply as possible instead of doing things correctly. It was mostly clean, but felt like a failed DIY project.

Room needs updating. Carpet is old, stained, feels dirty to walk on, and needs to be replaced. Thin walls. You can hear everything outside. Kitchenette needs new cabinetry. Towels are small. Bathroom is small.

Considering the price not bad at all for a 1 or 2 night stay. Not a very modern hotel: room was clean, pool & spa; ample parking; internet is good, COVID breakfast bag, Whole Foods and good restaurants near by.

Arrived at the hotel and was greeted by the front desk staff. She was not rude nor friendly just did her job. The room was cleaned although I could not run the heater as it was way to loud AND you could see the dust caked in the vent. No other issues with the room at all.

We have stayed at this hotel for many years. We are always pleased with the experience. I would highly recommend making this hotel your home base in Tucson. The rooms are well maintained. The staff is friendly and well trained. Social time/complimentary cocktails are always a welcoming extra

Years ago we decided when we travel we would stay at Best Western (family) Hotels, We will not be returning to this one. Walls were thin, we could hear the conversation of folks in the next room. There was an outside stairway to the 2nd floor, the light was out on the stair, it was reported in the am still not repaired in the pm. covid type breakfast was inconsistent from one day to next. Truly our most disappointing stay in a Best Western hotel. Upon returning to Tucson we will stay in one of the other BW's in the area

I travel all over the US for work and have never had a bad experience yet at Best Western. The staff have been great at all the locations I have stayed at , and all the rooms were clean and nice I won't use any other hotel if a Best western is in the town I'm in!

This hotel is worn down and in much need of a remodel. Very old fixtures, cracks in tub, paint chipping and peeling. Not worth the price we paid for a one night stay. Not appealing or inviting on the outside. Pictures online are deceiving; this hotel is not what the pictures show.

The hotel itself was fine. The only issue was they charged my credit card even though I presented a free night voucher at check in. This seemed to throw them off a bit as the check-in took some time. Now I have to get on the phone for 30 minutes to sort it out. Best Western rewards and Vouchers are NOT easy to use. It's like you have to use a special language and cryptic codes to activate any benefits.

This property needs a facelift, the cleanliness is questionable. The spa bath upgrade is a joke. Overall pretty ghetto place and we would not stay there again. They asked for a 50.00 deposit for incidentals....haven't seen that in a very long time, still don't see the credit on my account

I like the fact that despite of all the covid-19 precautions in Tucson, they still had a grab and go complimentary breakfast as well as a social hour and dinner until 8:00 p.m. They were mindful to make sure that people had their masks on and if they weren't going to have their masks on while eating they could sit outside adjacent to the pool. To my surprise, the mattresses were so comfortable. They were not too soft nor too hard they were just perfect. The lady I checked out with in the morning and had an excellent customer service. They had a free Wi-Fi that had excellent strength. There was no trash can in the room, no laundry bag, no ironing board (yes had an iron), bedspread was dirty and carpet was wet upon arrival. the corridors were filthy, the walls were super thin (I could hear the people upstairs as well as the people on either side of me snoring in the nighttime.) The room that they gave me was directly in front of PJ's and the pool area so there was constant noise every night until 10:00 p.m.

Hair ball with bug in the fold of the clean towel. Gaps in the doors and door knobs. Fleas in the carpet? Piles of large bags with dirty laundry outside the bedrooms as well as a dumpster filled with bags of dirty laundry. Trash overflowing out onto the ground of the trashcans - so I'm assuming there were probably mice or rats at night to feast on the garbage. Cleaning staff carts blocking the sidewalk to walk to and from our room. People walking around from 2:45 a.m. until about 3:30a.m. - going in and out of the rooms on each side of the one we were in.

Talk about total rudeness!!!! Room next door had at least 6 VERY loud talking and banging, TV blaring!! ALL NIGHT. Got fed up and called the front desk to ask them to tell the partiers to be quiet or leave!!! “Oh yes sir! I will deal with it”. 25 minutes later and continued party, I called yet again. “Oh sorry I”ll take care of it”. Another 5-10minutes. Note! I called again and said hey me another room. We have NOT slept all night. “Ok” it will be a moment”. Get a call a few minutes later and told a person will be delivering a key. Ended up moving and getting a couple hours of much needed rest. When checking out I told the desk person our first night should be refunded. “Oh I can't do that” then have me like $10 dollar discount on one night. GRRRRRR

Pet Friendly,-The room was equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, King Bed was comfortable. The room had a sink & cook top in a counter outside the bathroom. The room was dated and you could see where the doors were taken off a closet but the tracks were left and that area was just open space now. The counter had an opening on the backside which appeared that at one time it had an appliance in it maybe even a small oven? The room had an arm chair & foot stool and on the opposite side of the counter with the sink was a higher level counter and two bar stools. TV was flat screen and appeared to be satellite as we initially couldn't it to function but eventually did. The room we had was drive up so your door opened to the outside and we were in the back lot line of the property. Seemed to be alot of "activity" with people coming & going and ladies often outside & on their phones..maybe just a coincidence but I've seen enough to think something else was afoot just under the surface.

The air conditioning unit broke the evening of night one of our two night stay. My fiance and I didn't realise this until we woke up in the small hours of the morning covered in sweat. We called to the front desk attendant. A very rude woman who with a frustrated tone asserted that we must have done something to break it(though all we had done was set the thermostat) and rudely said she would send a maintenance man. After waiting for two hours we called down again to ask if anyone was indeed coming. Finally nearly another hour later the gentleman showed up, looks at the unit and told us it was frozen and there was nothing that could be done during our stay to fix it. He then told us we had to pack up and go down to the lobby and see about moving rooms. When we got to the lobby the rude woman at the desk informed us that they had no more rooms like the one we had booked and that all they could do is downgrade us. This was supposed to be a romantic weekend that my fiance had planned for my birthday and the only reason we were staying at this property was the in room spa. I explained this to the woman and said we would just check out and that I didn't want to pay for the previous night as it was miserable and the room was not functional. "Ugh, I'll have to talk to the manager" she barked as she stormed into a back office. 20 minutes later she emerged and told me that since we didn't leave in the night that we technically stayed in the room and that even though the air didn't work the best they could do is 20% off. Penny wise and pound foolish. We live in town and up until now have loved this property, stay there for birthdays, valentines day or just when we are bored and need a staycation. We had recommended it to visiting friends and family as well. That's all over now. I can forgive the rude staff, I can forgive the a/c breaking, I can forgive them not having a comparable room to offer us, but charging me for a miserable night in a non-functional room? I hope the $80 was worth it to them, we probably spend $1000 a year or more at this property not counting business we direct their way. Not any more, I hope the $80 was worth it. Hopefully if your reading this and thinking of staying at this property you think twice. If you do choose to stay here you might get lucky, like we did so many times and everything will be great, but if you are unlucky and something does go wrong with your room just know that it won't be fixed or made right and you will pay for it.

This motel was full of rowdy transient workers who made a racket all night. Impossible to sleep. Many other guests we met in the parking lot had a similar experience. The physical room is in very worn & much of the outside is in disrepair. We planned to stay 4 nights but left after the 1st night.

Staff was friendly and helpful! Loved the patio with the grills and the pool area was great! Understandably the fitness room was closed so i asked for a recommendation on a good running trail..and i went to a beautiful park that was close by for my run :). The room was very clean..and i am a housekeeping manager at a different business and very particular! Great job, Best Western.

Five stars for good value. We booked here at around $65 per night and the rooms were exactly as advertised. Each room had a small kitchenette bar area with a stove and sink. The king bed rooms have a nice sitting area with a two-seater couch, as well as bar stools. It was very comfortable to have dinner in the room with this arrangement. The staff were also very friendly and helpful! I especially liked that the location seemed very quiet and safe. We came with a giant Uhaul moving truck, but there were many others like ours. There was a person at the front desk 24 hours a day, and they said they had someone walking the premises throughout the night, which made us feel safe. "grab and go" breakfast was a small brown bag with two granola bars, two small cans of apple juice, and two apples.

Little older hotel but clean and quiet. Ya the shower faucet dripped and toilet was a little loose. But the room was very clean. Everything worked as it should. The area was very quiet so getting a good night sleep was no problem..So once again best western is very reliable.

I recently stayed over one night costing $100+\\ on Saturday 9/5. Upon entering the room, the light switch did not come on. This was late pm after 9. The only switches that worked were the bedside lamps. I brushed that off being tired & wanting a nights rest. To my dismay touching the falling apart coffee machine, I could not even take a shower! The faucet purged loudly and no water! Having paid $100 bucks, no coffee machine, No shower and the advertised breakfast I was told is a brown bag wit a fruit and bar? Are you kidding??? I spoke to the lady at the front desk who mentioned having maintenance come over However is that hotel policy??? A guest pays for a room wit no front light and not even able to shower?? She also said their manager would not be in until Tuesday and would contact me. Having stayed at 3 best westerns this past week this hotel was a gross experience! I still have had no call or contact from management. To think I also created a New best western rewards account here. I left feeling gross unable to to shower. PER NO COMMUNICATION EITHER AS PROMISED, I would AVOID THIS HOTEL AT All COSTS IF YOU WANT A FUNCTIONABLE ROOM COFFEE MACHINE AND SHOWER AT THE LEAST!!!

Keep driving the place is worse than a rent by the hour motel outside of a military base. Just scuzzy. Carpets not vacuumed. Dog food, stickers (not Disney ones either), carpet filthy feet and socks turn black. Barf on the outside wall of the tub. Leaking supply valve on the toilet ( good part it only leaked when flushed like a roof only leaks when it rains)!! Absolute PIGSTY.

I have stayed here multiple times and this last time i was charged 2x for my deposit bc i checked in using booking.com one night and not the other however i havent recieved my deposit back at all for any of the nights ive stayed here i will be taking this up with them and my bank if nothing is resolved i will be taking legal action against them

Aside from getting the wrong room that was by a noisy pool and had an old blood stain on the curtains... it was ok... Was better after I moved out of that room.Food was ok. Second room was much cleaner.

Jasmine had a bad attitude and the room was filthy with covid 19 going on thats just unacceptable do not stay here during the pandemic if you dont want covid. Plus there were people smoking weed outside their roomband inside their room

Driving through Tucson during COVID couldn't be helped. Rolled into the city at 930pm looking for a CLEAN and safe spot to crash for the night. After pulling into three hotels and leaving, found this BW based on reviews. Beautiful remodel and squeaky clean! Kitchenette with stove, bar seating, fridge and microwave. Really quiet too. Woman at check in was super friendly and professional! TIP - book directly. I saved $10 with AAA discount, cheaper than any travel website.

Kevin & Jazlyn in reception are highly skilled and very nice. Very helpful as well. Before during and after the stay. Thank you both very much. And then there's Tiffany. The "amazing" Tiffany in the restaurant/bar. All by herself during these difficult times, but always a pleasure to be around. Plus she's a great cook!!! And if it's not too non PC... Easy on the eyes...

Room was very dirty. Stained furniture. Had a mildew smell to it. Carpet was sticky. I was planning on staying four nights. Stayed only one and made reservations at a different Hotel. Disgusting!! Needless to say I did not sit in the chair!

Management tolerate open drug dealing in the parking lots and prostitution and meth use in the rooms. Pima County Sheriff was a regular visitor to make arrests on three occasions, but it should have been 30. The room was great as were the housekeeping staff, but the criminal element and the failure of management to call the sheriff turned the hotel into a Wild West hotel as in the show Deadwood. If you like that, 5 stars. If you don't, zero.

One of the worst visits I've had.. in ground jacuzzi was a lil green smelled bad ,the bathroom door was split in half, the kitchen stove cabinet door fell completely off all the pics were after the repairs btw I was granted a full day refund by a rep.. never got a call from the manager but I called back spoke to a guy and he said the most he could offer me was 20%off from both nights. That was shocking due that a agent offered more than a manger and he lied saying that's the most that could be done when a normal employee gave me more. Over all I'm thankful for the one nigh refund but it was not a pleasant stay. Would not recommend stayin here and due to the corona viruse the jacuzzi should be cleaned more often just a thought

This lBest Western is one we frequently stay at twice a year when we visit family and friends. rooms and Service is great and Breakfast is one of the reasons we stay there. This trip due to the Coronavirus, hot breakfasts was discontinued.

The room was clean and comfortable with a cook top. I really enjoyed the breakfast. It was better than most hotel's breakfast. It was a great price. The only thing I had trouble with is finding my room at night, even though they did give me a map and explained where it was. It was still a little difficult to fine. I did not see an elevator either. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. I would stay here again.

I admit I am spoiled. I have visited Tucson probably 15 times. 4 times I have rented a condo for longer stays (a month or more). I have stayed at all the major resprts on Sunrise/Skyline Rd. This recent visit was only for a week and part of a road trip. We preferred Oro Valley area but no VRBO availability for a week and the better hotel prices were ridiculous. Go are the days of Priceline resort deals. We booked a suite at a reasonable price. The staff was wonderful. The suite was spacious enough and we liked the separation between living area and bedroom. Liked the galley “kitchen.” We only went to the breakfast once- we travel with our own coffee maker and light breakfast fare. The breakfast selections were fine. The pool- a typical 2 star hotel pool. Not a pool to ha g out/lounge around. Could use a really good sprucing up. Fitness room was adequate. Location-convenient to Oro Valley area. We would not return due to the caliber of guests- smoking outside rooms that filtered into ours, loud people around the pool. Not the sort who have class and are courteous. I have reached the point of no longer staying at hotels who allow dogs. This is during the COVID 19 scare and we noticed the staff taking precautions with exterior cleanliness. I want to emphasize, staff was GREAT, room was fine. It was just the other guests that would prevent us from booking again. No manners!!!!

One of the worst overall experiences I've had in a long time. Checked in then went to our room and began unpacking. Opened the top dresser drawer and found a used jock strap! Instead of checking right back out, as I wish we had done, we decided to stay in hopes of nothing else occurring. The property is older but had been renovated/refreshed not too long ago. Our room was clean, with the exception of the underwear, but the pillows were lumpy and hard, and the towel rack was nearly falling off the wall. Being an older hotel meant noise transmitted freely from the upstairs and nextdoor. People up regularly during the night taking showers, talking,etc. The breakfast offerings, included with the room, was just as disappointing with a little bit of fresh fruit and yogurt. All other items were precooked, packaged or simply pre-prepared things like eggs and lots of carbs. No, we did not complain to management. Why? Because you should assume that things like quality control and regular inspections of staff and rooms would help identify areas needing improvement. I nor any customer should be placed in a situation where we are forced to do the job for management. Good luck to Best Western as this was not the standards your franchise expects!

Very disappointing for a Best Western. Shower not cleaned from person before. Yuck. Front desk could have cared less when asked how stay was. Spend your money someplace else. Bed was fine, breakfast ok.

Contrary to some of the negative reviews, I found this place to be exactly as described. We had a room with a "jacuzzi" in it, and everything worked perfectly. The breakfast was fantastic each day, and the staff there very helpful. The biggest aggravation I experienced is the noise from the grounds keeper on Saturday morning (with his leaf blower), and the fact that the "nearby dining" section on the hotel website is out of date and needs to be updated. Too bad the nightly room rate was inflated for the Valentine's Day weekend, otherwise I would also state that the value we received for the room we had was spot on. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Made a reservation the week before and filled out the pre-arrival check in to ensure some basic needs would be met. Namely a quiet room on the top floor. Upon arrival I could tell this was a pretty dingy looking location. Definitely a Motel 6 type vibe here and dated property. There are no elevators, so be prepared to use outdoor stairs. Room was smallish, but beds were comfortable enough. Didn't feel very clean and the faucet dripped constantly in the tub and shower spigot jutted out awkwardly from the wall. Lighting was not very soothing due to the fluorescent bulbs. But the REAL fun began at 11pm when the roar of large engines revving, metal doors lifting and slamming shut and incessant beeping was heard unrelentingly until sunrise. About every five minutes, a loud metal pop could be heard feet away, which we surmised was the refrigerator going through a temperature change and a metal freezer plate reacting. The sounds of our neighbor's plumbing and snoring was just another melody that accompanied this nightmare symphony of sounds. We woke up thoroughly exhausted and feeling like crap. The best the hotel manager would offer was a meager $50 refund. Just a really crappy experience all around. Also, never again in a million years.

Very tired old property with issues! Was not worth the money. Toilet ran incessantly, bathtub faucet wouldn't turn off, room smelled, found a condom wrapper in the sofa sleeper, other trash on the floor...need I go on?

We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed another night. Although you could not see the mountains from there but facilities were clean and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. It was easy to get to.

The property has potential to be a very nice place but the operations unfortunately brings it down to slightly trashy. Breakfast and happy hour area was small and groups pushed tables together (which were never pulled apart again) so there was never any place to sit. Great idea of happy hour but just plan on taking your drink outside (weather permitting) or to your room. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast pretty standard, again, don't plan on having a place to sit. Nice property, can see they have done a bunch of remodeling which was nice but fell short on some minor finishing items which would have made the rooms very nice. Again, property has potential and hopefully management will get on the ball.

Property is tired & dated. Our room had brown carpet that is very old....walls needed a fresh coat of paint...towels had been bleached to the point they were like sand paper. Very little daylight in our room. Can not recommend this property.

Always a pleasant stay. Staff is welcoming. Very close to most everything in Tucson but far enough away from the bustle of downtown. Very comfortable bed, hot shower. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short and check out early and the desk staff was very helpful.

This was our second time at this motel. We stayed for almost 3 weeks this time and will come again. Very good value. We had a room with a mini kitchen and enjoyed it. On the negative side the beautiful views from the back of the motel have given way to noisy construction. There were several car break ins in the parking lot while we were there-more security is required. Don't leave anything in your car. The breakfast was better than usual and the happy hour while only fair is better than no happy hour. The space for breakfast is too small. The business center and exercise rooms are good. Housekeeping is very good. All the staff were exceptional.

Their breakfast is pretty good, it's not just a bagel and cold cereal they have waffle makers and yogurt and eggs and sausage and lots more. Along with coffee of different kinds and creamers and different juices, really enjoyed it for the money.

The best thing about the place is that it is off the street and quiet. The 2 stories of rooms are mostly built around a pool and breakfast cafe. The pool was nice, clean and warm! and good seating. The cafe had a new variety each day, incl. hot food that was made there. Even if it was close to closing-time, the staff made more to fill up the containers! The front receptionists were very good. I sat next to them using the public computer and they handle all questions calmly and with facts. I got someone to help me carry my luggage (as I cant) up the stone/cement stairs. The bed was good; towels a bit small. I gave them a note of 3 repairs that were needed, like the toilet rocked when I stood up; but it was all minor. The grounds were nice. It is just a little bit away from a mall, which sometimes has a quality art/craft fair; and many restaurants nearby. They have a hall that was used by a couple of parties; but I didnt see any rooms near the hall for noise to bother them. I didnt try the social hour or the exercise room. It is a basic but nice motel; I would go back, espec. if I could get a discount thru their website.

Very quiet area and close to a lot of things and great staff. They have a big breakfast selection and keep bringing more food. The hotel was crowded due to a soccer tornamrnt but it was quiet all the time.

Great location in what used to be reliably clean, pleasant hotel. Now, yuk! Walls, carpet, bathroom tub--all gross--although lighting can be so deceiving in photos & rooms look great so beware! Bed was fine. Breakfast is always convenient, but although was around, same cleanliness issues--walls are dirty (small space so it's hard not to notice), and be prepared to wipe off your own table.

Very noisy, window rattled when people walked around upstairs, barking dog at night, insufficient TP and kleenex, property looks very run down, social hour offered two free cups of beer/wine and nachos

What a nice experience in Tucson. The room was clean, beds were very comfortable, and the shower was great after a long day. The employees were very friendly and professional. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it

We chose this property because they accept pets. The other Best Westerns in Tucson did not. We're pleased we found it. The property is well kept. Not sure how old it is but it's good looking and comfortable. There's a “restaurant” on site that you can order food from all day long, reasonably priced. Free: social hour each night and breakfast every morning. Breakfast had a great selection and attentive staff. Because it's in a more suburban setting there are a lot of dining options. We ate at the Red Lobster close by and were quite pleased we could find something we are familiar with and like. Conclusion: Stay here!

Kevin at the front desk makes sure all is well!!! And here's how and why..... I had called a week or so in advance to check on my reservation. Kevin picked up the phone and confirmed that my res. was there. I asked about an ADA room.... He did not have it. But..... He remembered my request and he made it so when I arrived. How about that!!!! All by himself he made my trip. So, Kevin here's to you..... Can't wait to get back; and I will be back on the 22nd of January. Thank you so very much. Rooms/bathrooms could use some updating. The heated pool and hot tub were enjoyable. Noise was the biggest negative— could hear doors slamming, noise from next door room, pets. Breakfast is decent but crowded and the happy hour is a nice touch.

We loved our stay so much we added an extra day! The location is close to lots of great restaurants and shopping! The breakfast was delicious and was different each day! The cocktail hour each afternoon was so fun! And having a kitchen was nice to prepare lunch and snacks!!

Check-In staff were friendly and attentive, helpful, and accommodating; room was ample and clean, convenient location and easy parking. Check-Out staff were also friendly, and check-out was quick and correct.

Got this place for $76/nite and it was perfect. Older building with no elevators ( but only two floors). Rooms updated although stairways and walkways kind of rough. Fridge in room, comfy beds, no chemical smell, coffee maker. Nice full breakfast provided. Safe part of town (north side) on Oracle which has plenty of places to eat and such. Would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here 1 night and it was adequate. Rooms have been totally redone recently. It was quiet and has many rooms. It is close to restaurants @ 1 mile down street. Huge recommendation for Guisseppe's Italian restaurant 1/2 mile away. The hotel's free breakfast is okay. It is served in a very cramped room. Noisy and not a good atmosphere.

My stay at the Best Western Tucson Foothills was very enjoyable. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast each morning was wonderful. The price was a great value for the quality of my stay. I was very satisfied, and I'll definitely stay there on my next trip to Tucson.

I routinely stay here several times a year and have experienced issues that preventive maintenance could have solved without customer involvement. Management pay the routine costs. It pays in long run

The bath towels were rags, and there were only 2 for 3 of us. We asked for sheets for the pull out couch twice and never for the proper size. There was so much furniture in the small room that the only way to pull out the couch was to block the door with furniture - safety hazard. The shower didn't drain. The remote controls would change channels but not turn on or off. The bedroom window didn't close. When we tried to get service no one at the front desk spoke English.

Nice rooms. Color sceme is calming. Breakfast is hot and a different variety everyday. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant for happy hour is great - two free drinks for quests with popcorn or chips and salsa. Near many great businesses/restaurants/shopping.

I found this property close to everything. Great restaurant's close by and also an on-site restaurant. Food was good and good portions. I'm a transgender woman and safety is always a concern. Staff was welcoming,kind and proper pronouns were used. Check in and out was easy. Bed was very comfortable and love that there is four pillows. There is a pool!

The hotel is nice and in a good area. It's a bit north of town, but close to nice restaurants, etc. The rooms are nice and clean. Be careful about parking. Do not park in the large parking lot next to check in as this is the Barbecue next door. You will be towed! The breakfast was a disaster with way too many people for the space and the coffee maker broke down. Yikes! Why a 4-star rating? Because the rooms and location are really worth it!

Good example of the inconsistent quality of the BW brand experience. Previous night's BW excellent, but not so much this one. Numerous maintenance or appearance issues. Bathroom light doesnt work. Bed is up against the hvac unit so one is either too hot or cold. Entry door latch is stiff and door needs paint. Bath door shows damage at bottom. Furniture or fixtures marred. Gapping hole where a drop in fridge once was. When adjacent room runs water in bathroom, it was extremely loud. Not recommended.

We've stayed at this BW many times over the last 10 years; Love the new room decor and breakfast buffet. On the 3 days that we had the breakfast we were pleasantly surprised at the different food options each day. Enjoyed a good nights sleep in a comfy bed with lots of pillows and an upstairs quiet room.

This is an absolutely awesome place to stay. Super clean neat rooms. Friendly smiling staff, happy to help at any time. Great breakfasts. The venue is SAFE and apparently a favorite for older regulars who may visit Tucson for the weather/golf. Friendly guests sitting in the common areas enjoying the amenities . I'd not hesitate to stay here again!!!

Stayed here 2 nights on a leisure trip to E Arizona to see fall colors. This property is obviously a BW+ quality but lacking an elevator it can't qualify for the higher class designator. Located about 30 minutes from Desert Museum and 20 to downtown.

It was a very nice, clean room. It was very spacious, the bed was clean and comfy. I really like the little bar that we had in room also having a microwave and a little fridge was awesome. I really do recommend Best Western Hotel. Receptionist were nice, friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for two nights in October. There is no lift so all luggage had to be carried up a flight of stairs. The TV didn't work although a very helpful employee was able to re-set the digital box for us. The bedroom itself was clean and tidy upon arrival. Only one clean towel was left for the second night the other having been left on the floor (we had hung up both towels that morning). Coffee in the breakfast room was awful. Nice pool with lots of space and seats. Drunken and loud party in the spa pool one night although they did leave by 10 by the required closing time. Overall not what I would have expected from a Best Western branded hotel. No opportunity to leave feedback at reception as the receptionist was on the phone.

Very nice room with comfortable bed and nice furnishings. Also, very quiet, except the A/C .However, the wi-fi cut in and out. One of the closed doors was stuck and very hard to open. A/C controls were confusing, causing the A/C to cycle on and off. Except for the above, a nice stay.

Rooms a little dated, but you can't beat the location. Easy walking access to a variety of restaurants. Lots of parking. Pool provided a nice cool-down on a hot night. Stairs to higher floors; no elevator that I saw.

The suite was very nice.Fan a little loud, but better than no ac. Great jacuzzi tub, and free breakfast was very satisfying. The pool was clean & comfortable. The staff was friendly & helpful. They earned a '5' rating!

Condition of the room was in the terrible category (hole punched in bedroom door) and it did not appear to be clean as well as the lighting was not good in the room. Made rez several weeks ago, checked rates the morning we were heading out and the rates dropped $30 a night.....Called, they cancelled my rez and made a new one at the lower rate. About the worse BW we have ever stayed at.

On-line photos did not match that of the hotel. They showed a new clean hotel and breakfast room and what I got was a very tired, need of a bath, old hotel. Took a lukewarm shower, wall paper was peeling, air conditioner is very loud, internet is slow making getting any work done impossible. Got the room with the whirlpool tub, only their was no hot water when I checked after an 8 hour drive. Handles and faucet had been replaced and were very loose. Overall I paid for what I got, a tired old looking hotel that had a cheap price. Back to Comfort Suites, you know exactly what you are getting.

Our daughter attending the university of Arizona, we travel often from Kentucky. I was amazed at the attention. And amenities provided to us Best Western Innsuites Tucson Foothills. From check In, lay out of room, complentery breakfast, Happy hour, service to local restaurants, This is not your old Best Weastern.

The front desk personnel was friendly, helpful and very professional. Room was spotless and the decor was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing, lots of choices and the food was great. This hotel is an a great location close to many services in Tucson.

Unsafe area. they had no security just letting anyone around hang out there in the town. People are living in the hotel unchecked and the door is basically foam you can hear everything outside. Also we had trouble checking out.

the hotel does not look like much from the street but the rooms are very comfy and clean and the breakfast was very good, with a crew that were on their toes at keeping things stocked and tables clear. the parking could use some help.

I stayed here for a business trip, and chose the locaiton due to its proximity. The check in process was very smooth, and the staff was very friendly. While I did have a kitchenette, there was no flatware or cookware. However, the room was extreemly clean, and quiet.

I live in Tucson and just wanted to get away for the weekend. I got a great rate online for the weekend of August 9th. When I arrived, check in was quick and easy and the young woman at the front was very helpful and knowledgeable. When I got in the room and took off my shoes I realized the floors were damp. I called to the front desk and they immediately switched my room with no hassle. I relaxed for a bit and went down to get some ice and check out their social hour. No frills but a nice touch, there was popcorn and crackers with a beer cheese dip. Tifany behind the bar was amazing, very knowledgeable about the property and good conversation. I really enjoyed chatting with her while drinking my complimentary drinks. Breakfast was good, but it was really crowded in such a small space. All in all I had a great stay!!!

After a bit of deliberation we settled on the Innsuites Tucson Foothills for our stay in Tucson because the beds have pillow top mattresses, and we are really glad we did. Not only was the rate extremely reasonable, the value in additional benefits from the free drinks at PJ's, to the excellent breakfast and great pool made this place a steal. And the added comfort from the pillow top mattress made for an excellent sleep. Thanks to the social atmosphere created by PJ's, we also enjoyed meeting some fellow travelers too. The hotel is showing its age a bit, but the staff are great and facilities deliver a very nice stay.

This place had everything you need for a short stay—a comfortable bed, microwave, small fridge, coffee pot, iron and board. The room was not large, but fully equipped. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. Many choices, and constantly refilled. Only drawback was the AC was hard to control. Only two floors, but no elevator.

I stay at this particular Best Western several times a year and generally my stay is pleasant and enjoyable. On this particular occasion I attempted to plan a group of 15 rooms, the goal was to be in the same building, didn't have to be same floor, but definitely same building block. 8 guests were declined booking by front desk, until several follow up calls and emails were made to resolve the (no record of this event) being told to guests. I booked my two rooms at the same time used the same credit card, put notes in profile, please provide joined rooms, right next to each other. Long story short. The host, I brought in a lot of money for best Western having 15 guests for two night 3 day stay. Upon my checking I was told there were no guarantees, there were no options to switch rooms and the manager was not available. If I got bad customer service, I can relate with what my guests experience. I emailed the front office manager for the contact information for corporate or the district manager, no reply. This is the 2nd year I've hosted this annual event. I was very very very disappointed. 8 of 15 guests had problem with room conditions or bad bad customer service experience.

Hotel is nice enough. Being renovated. Bathrooms are tiny & toilets don't work well. Biggest issue is parking. If you arrive late there is ZERO parking. Night desk person told me I could park overnight in side lot & DID NOT mention being towed. My car and another guest's car were towed across town. $200 cash to get out of impound!! Very unprofessional staff. Merely shrugged with zero concern for their customer. Worst experience at a Best Western EVER.

We were awakened at three in the morning by a woman screaming obscenities outside of our room followed by two phone calls later in the night. There were drunk people roaming the hotel and no on site security. The desk said that they were aware of the screaming woman via camera but had no one on site to deal with security issues. I would advise any visitor to Tuscon to avoid this hotel!

All good here, $ vs. value. Always feel safe, clean and friendly. We always stay in the back for the sunsets,2nd floor, pool side can be a little noisy, Right ? Good bkfst. and happy hour with a good menu. Close to everything, without the price.

This room was not up to rental standards. It was infested with roaches and the refrigerator leaked all over the floor furing the night. The only enjoyable thing in the room was the Spa Bath, otherwise it is NOT worth considering. Please do NOT be fooled!

Great Best Western friendliest one I stayed at so far. Breakfast wa very nice, staff was very helpful and friendly. Could have not picked a better property to stay at. Room was very nice, great decor.

I will always pick this location when I need a room in Tucson. The breakfast was great, totally did not expect biscuits and gravy to be an option. Super affordable and at a great location. Look no further.

This is a convenient location to visit a family member in a local rest home. We've stayed here a couple other times and feel we got value for the money. We'd stay here again. Kinda like to be able to check-in a little earlier than 3pm...but, not a biggie. Breakfast and "social hour" were outstanding.

Room was awful, constant noise till nearly 2 in the am. Minimal channels to view, no jacuzzi as suggested by other reviews. A bad night. If I were permitted to view the room prior to committing, I would not have stayed.

Fantastic staff! Great breakfast! Room was clean and comfortable. A nice atmosphere for any type of stay! Loved using the pool and jacuzzi :-) I will likely stay here every time I hit Tucson. Recommend it!

AC in the room worked a charm, wish I could have spent the day in bed it was so comfy. Our party had a late check in and was welcomed by a friendly staff member. Everything was top notch, would gladly stay again my next time in Tucson.

I have always been pleased with Best Western. This location has kept that record going. It's a more basic of the Best Westerns that I've been to, but it's a great value, and it was manned with a polite, friendly group of people at the front desk.

Property was unsavoury, dirty, with stains and holes. Large gap between bottom of doors and outside. Strange smell in the rooms. Advise to stay clear. Phoned Best Western head office, not asking for anything, just wanted to report and let me know which other hotels in their chain were not up to par. Still have received no followup or call back.

I love the breakfast building where you can eat just about anything you want, from pancakes sausages hashbrowns eggs yogurt bagels and toast. The TV room was very nice, mounted to the wall. The one drawback staying here is that Wi-Fi will not connect at any location you try, including the front des area.

No elevator and I expected to have a fully equipped kitchen so that I could do all of my own cooking. These were the areas that really took down the rating. I had called ahead to make sure there were cooking utensils. I had two refrigerators and no oven or dishwasher. I have never been in a kitchen set up like this where you turn into the kitchen and the first area is an electric cook top. This is very dangerous since I kept using the cook top and had to leave the hot pan there to make sure I didn't go any nearer. The very small workspace was tucked into a corner which made me have to work twisted and on my tiptoes. I also had to call for kitchen ware. Then for a spatula. Then called again for the top to the saucepan. Then to fix the TV. The bath tub backed up. Now I will have to call and SPECIFICALLY ask do you have a working kitchen? Does the kitchen have equipment to cook with? Do you have an elevator? My complaints garnered me 25% off the cheapest night...better than nothing. Still not happy with this place and will not return.

Awesome service, friendly staff, great breakfast. Overall the stay was very good. The location was great for what we needed and there were plenty of food options near by. Internet was fast and reliable

Shoddy, terrible breakfast, dirty room. Noisy. door doesn't seal. I stayed in another hotel the next night that was cheaper, cleaner and nicer. Heating/cooling system loud and archaic. Too hot or too cold, noisy. Bad area of town...prostitutes in parking lot.

I had a single late overnight stay at this hotel. It wasn't much more to upgrade to the presidential suite, which had the Jacuzzi Tub, so I did. When I entered, the door knob to the back patio was partially falling off. The Jacuzzi Tub was cracked and did not function. I cannot recommend this room. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly.

I have always enjoyed staying at Best Western. For the little more money it takes to stay at a Best Western instead of Motel 6 or Super 8. It is well worth the money at Best Western. The employees are much more courteous, helpful, and a much happier overall atmosphere. And a better breakfast choices.

Other than the lovely flowers in front of the entrance; seedy, dirty walkways and stairs - I guess the BW logo is given to any motel that pays for it. The only redeeming feature was the two free beers at a place near the pool called B.J.'s. Cleaning carts graced the walk to beer and again to breakfast (complimentary). The kids (not mine) had a good time in the pool but the area was unkept and bird dropping were ubiquitous -railings, chairs, tables, etc. I could go on and on but you get the picture. The room was in shades of brown and rather dismal. We had asked if the windows opened but they were locked shut. A/C worked as did the water but the whole place needs a competent housekeeping supervisor: a cleaning rag left by our sink and no hand towels to be found: I used the cloth wrapped around the extra toilet paper. I didn't even try to explore the white stuff left on the bathroom door. We looked at a suite with a balcony - don't bother as it was also dismal and smelled. The front staff was excellent: friendly and accommodating - they were the best part of this place.

The check in desk was close to the road, and we weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into. But our room was away from the road, overlooking the pool. Evening reception was appreciated, breakfast was great.

There is a lot to like about this Best Western. The woman who checked us in was friendly, they had freshly baked cookies and a local Tucson newspaper, We were offered our choice of first or second floor. The Happy Hour was unexpected and generous. Two glasses of a boxed wine (adequate) or draft beer plus a couple of munchies. Again, we had great service at the 'bar.' Breakfast was generous with the usual (eggs, potatoes, breads) plus make-ur-own pancakes, good selection of coffee, biscuits, creamed beef and more. Sadly, though, this hotel looks very old. And that really detracted for me. It has a tired look about it. The TV was small (not that's important, but just another sign of age) We are both able-bodied, but I did take note that the hotel (more like a motel) doesn't appear to be an easy place for someone in a wheelchair to maneuver (curbs to get to breakfast, curbs to get from Reception etc. No elevator)

Everything went great with my stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to others. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were clean, the shower was great, it was everything I was expecting and was fairly priced.

The exterior stairs up to the second floor had cracked and broken tiles and were covered with leaves. The pathway to the breakfast area was also cracked broken tiles. The access to the restaurant that we used and was a main access meant walking past the backside of the equipment and was very ugly and tacky. The room was okay. The welcome hamburgers etc were good although it was crowded. Breakfast was fine.

The room was very clean and even smelled fresh. All staff we encountered were above average in helpfulness and friendliness. The first night of our stay included a BBQ with free food and drinks! We will definitely stay here again!

The hotel rooms were nice, breakfast was good. Free drinks at Happy Hour was nice too. Paper thin walls and ceiling and very noisy pipes made for an unpleasant , noisy stay. Staff did not go out of their way to help.

One and a half stars. We are platinum members and have stayed at Best Western motel/hotels for over ten years. This one is at the bottom of the list. The staff was indifferent and not well informed. They let dogs in the breakfast room. The breakfast room was crowded and had numerous large TV screens everywhere that could not be avoided. Fox news was a favorite. we were told breakfast started at 6:00am but it did not open until 6:30am. The selection was below what we expected at Best Western. Our window had a block on it so it could not be opened. Apparently they were worried about breakins. We had to have maintenance take out the block so we could have fresh air and then I had to reinstall in before we left the room. The walls were thin and we could hear our neighbor's TV. The faucet in the tub/shower was so still my wife could not pull it on or off. There was no grab bar in the shower. The front door did not seal. The interior threshold between the vinyl floor and rug was coming apart and was a tripping hazard.

First trip to Tucsan, AZ and this hotel location. As always, the Best Western was a great experience. This location was very was central to my activities, visits, and restaurants. Staff was professional, property was well laid out, clean, and quiet. Ample parking. I normally stay at Best Western Hotels. They all seem consistent in terms of overall quality, and staff performance. This location was no different. Highly recommended!

i recently booked this hotel for a trip to Tucson. Most sites rate it as a 3 star hotel. I booked the jacuzzi room (presidential suite). The over all cleanliness of the room was horrible. Blood in the tub, jets on the tub filthy. The next room they gave me had dirty foot prints in the tub, massive hair and dirt behind the doors. Each room has a private porch that was full of cigarette butts and trash. Just an overall bad experience. The staff was very nice, I was able to move to another property, with a full refund.

Our room was noisy as it was right across from the social gathering area. Also, the carts on the tile floor sounds like people running past your room. Our room was so tiny we couldn't get the luggage cart in the door. I forget my walking shoes in the room when we left, and when I called the next day to ask, no one had seen them. I know that they were probably under the table in the room. The carpet need to be cleaned as the soles of our feet would get dirty from walking on the carpet in the room.

Hotel has all the potential to be great. The rooms were clean everything worked; new 60" TV but the shower ceiling had a leak from above and the patch job was done poorly. (we had a group of 10 people and all said they had same problem. The exterior needs some professional help definitely not the person who did the drywall in the shower.

We have stayed in many Best Western hotels & this one is by far the worst! Room decor is very outdated & dark. It is worn, showing it's age through dirty, worn carpets and worn furniture, sometimes creating hazards (such as tripping). Repairs have been attempted in some places, but are not well done. I found exterior areas (hallways, patios) filthy. Lots of evidence of liquid spills not cleaned up, build up of dirt & debris including cigarette butts and bottle caps. Bedding was clean, breakfast included a variety of hot & cold items. Staff were responsive when approached.

Room 215. This is night 16 of a cross country road trip and it's the worst motel experience we've had. We could hear and feel slamming doors from neighboring (not just adjacent) rooms and from people walking by our room on the exterior corridor. The floor and bed headboards actually vibrated from these two things. Shower noise from adjoining room was so loud it felt like it was in our room. HVAC unit was incredibly loud. Breakfast room far to small for size of hotel - no place to sit. This is a $50 Value room not $130. Will ever stay here again.

The room was billed as a King suite w/kitchen. There was a 2 burner electric hotplate but no dishes, silverware, pans, etc. The tub and toilet are in a small room off of the 'kitchen' but the sink is in the other room. They had a lot of rain and snow while we were there. The ceiling started to leak and chunks of plaster fell on the floor. You can many ceiling patches so this isn't the first time. The free breakfast is in a separate building so we had to dodge the rain and ice to get to a room that was also leaking and way too small for the nunber of guests. The complex is a series of buildings connected by walkways. They all look the same and not clearly marked. We got lost several times trying to get back from breakfast. On a positive note, the front desk staff was very friendly and tried to help as much as possible.

The only person who deserves the Presidential Suite is Donald Trump. How this place has four stars is beyond me. The outside is absolutely filthy, the rooms worn and falling apart. Street noise is terrible. We checked out early, as we couldn't stand it any longer. Front staff was great.

Basic room with 2 queens. There was a chair squeezed into the space. While the bed was comfortable I had to remove bedding from 2nd bed to get warm. The 2nd night the maid added extra bedding to one of the beds The breakfast was good. We thought the happy hour was a nice extra While we only had a bedroom there are larger rooms and suites. Since we ended up staying longer we tried to upgrade but nothing was available

We liked this motel. The breakfast was better than average and there was also a little happy hour. There was some noise due to the outside corridors and nearby construction. The office staff were very helpful. The room was good size and well maintained. I would stay here again.

Check in was an adventure. First room we entered the ceiling was falling down and plaster was strewn all over the floor. Walked back to front desk and gave us a room 2 doors down. It was very noisy with cleaning carts rumbling past the room at 7am waking us up. The walls are paper thin and so we heard every conversation of our neighbors. I love Tucson but will never stay at this hotel again.

If I wasn't placed in a room with a broken toilet, my stay may not have been so heinous at this facility. However, my comfort did not return after I received a new room. I had a lot of crap to move to the other room and was traveling alone. It was A LOT of work! I also thought the facility looked very worn done-physically on the outside. There was not a warm comforter, like in ALL the other hotels I have stayed in. The TV in my new room left a snow storm on all the channels. Finally, the other hotel guests were a little seedy and loud when they wake up at 6 AM!

I'll be quick. $240 a night for the presidential suite. Blood on the curtains, blood on the pull out, No bedding for the pull out. drywall pieces missing, bubbling wallpaper from water damage, mildew stains on shower head, jacuzzi spouts, and drain. general dis repair. will not be staying here again.

If you aren't out of your room when they come by to clean they will not return to clean. The towels feel like sand paper and they don't give you enough. The front desk lady was gone at check out time 9:30 AM for about 10 minutes a maintenance worker was telling all of us that she would return soon.

Very dirty!!! This Best Western is so run down. All outside walkways and seating areas are filthy. Unfortunately there are not a lot of other choices in this area to pick from. Lots of construction workers stay here.

Why would staff place tourists among work crews as they are totally different clientele.We probably could have requested a move, but why should we have to pack up a week's worth of stuff when it is the hotel's responsibility to place clients appropriately. We have stayed at many Best Westerns throughout the country, and this one by far does NOT live up the standards of this chain.

This hotel says they offer special rates as a hotel partner with Sporting Chance. We traveled to Tucson on 1/5 and stayed here and no problems - they honored the rate of $72.99 + tax. This time I called and a Best Western employee took my reservation on 1/24 for the same rate. Upon checking out she said $94.39 would go on my credit card. I told her my reservation rate was $72.99 and said there was no such rate and nobody should've given that rate. I told her we had that rate earlier in the month and she still disagreed. She refused to honor the price given on my reservation! TOTALLY DECEPTIVE! Don't bait people into get reservations for one price and then switch after they're there!

Check in was simple and quick . Even while applying travel rewards to my stay .. the gentlemen checked me in with ease. Beautiful locations. Very quite and peaceful property. I look forward to booking there in the future.

Hotel is difficult to find and on very busy street. Misleading leading photos when viewing on line. Room smelled and tv did not work. Had to change to another room. Not fun. Staff is not very friendly other than the breakfast hostess. Breakfast is excellent. Social hour hostess is too busy doing nothing. Not one of the better Best Western hotels. Very disappointed and will not stay again when visiting Tuscon

I booked a room here for a few days last minute. I glanced reviews and saw a few very rough ones. I tend to want to give a hotel the benefit of the doubt and understand that a few outliers could boil down to a number of things that are outside of control of management. Unfortunately, I experienced the opposite. The property is fine, but staff/management don't express the mildest interest in the experience being ok. They advertise wifi and wired internet, and neither worked over the entire course of my stay. Not the biggest deal, but they made sure not mention this when I checked in. Certainly not before they had me sign over a $50 deposit in case I cut my stay short, separate and in addition to all the standard incidentals hold, waivers, etc. And unlike standard resort fees, pet fees, etc., this was not stated upfront. I stopped by the front desk a few days into my stay and sure enough, even though internet had been down several days at that point, I watched them check in another group and only mentioned issues with it well after all forms were signed and deposits were collected. My room was fairly aesthetically well appointed, but fell way short in terms of basic functionality. The door had to be forced open and shut, the privacy lock was installed poorly and had to be forced shut each time, making me think I was going to break it, and there was a solid inch air gap underneath the door. The AC had two settings- off, or roaring like a freight train. I can sleep through plenty but was woken up several times when it kicked on. As well as the excessive noise from guests outside through the massive gap underneath the door. The real bummer was seeing all this while the hotel was undergoing renovations. Several trade vehicles were parked outside during my stay- I saw new flooring being cut and granite countertops being staged for installation. Cool, they should be investing in their property, but my room already had the same upgrades I saw being prepared outside. They're clearly focused 100% on these pretty looking upgrades but intent on ignoring the functional issues that made my stay a poor experience. Finally on the last night of my stay, after being woken up several times around midnight, with a big drive ahead of me in the morning, I packed up my things and told the front desk that I couldn't stay there. I was told that everything would be finalized after an audit the next day. I said I expected a refund because all of the other issues aside, I at the very least expect a place I can sleep for the night. I was told there would be no refund, that I was scheduled to check out later in the day. I left my information and asked that the general manager contact me, but after two days I haven't heard anything. I suspect they are as disinterested in guests after check-in as every other staff member I encountered here. I would have been much happier in a motel that was maybe less pretty inside but more functional in terms of comfort. That would have been less expensive. As the folks running the show seem focused 95% on checking you in and 5% on genuine hospitality, it's same to assume that many guests will have a similarly rough experience. I would recommend friends and family stay absolutely anywhere else.

Only thing negative I could find is the pillows were too small. Should have at least queen size pillows on a king size bed. The pillows were like little square throw pillows. Otherwise the bed was really comfortable. The room was large enough to move around freely. All the amenities were great. Breakfast was super.

This Best Western does not even deserve one star. BW should be ashamed of this property. It is run down and poorly managed. When we checked in, the tub faucet was leaking - not a slow drip drip but actually running a stream that would not turn off. We called the front desk immediately and twice more during our 2 night stay but nothing was done. This waste of water in the desert is criminal. Additionally the walls of the rooms are paper thin. The first night I listened to someone in the adjacent room coughing and sneezing all night long. The second night there was a party in another adjacent room that went on until after 3 a.m. and spilled outside in front of our door. The people were clearly drunk, arguing, yelling and using every four letter word imaginable. I called the front desk and asked for security to be sent. No security on the property. The front desk did nothing. We were supposed to stay another 2 night but checked out.

We go Tucson a lot and when we choose to stay the night this is our go to hotel. Stay is always very friendly and helpful. Accommodations are very nice. Property is always clean and comfortable. Rooms are very clean and nice.

The facility itself seems a little past its prime. Nothing wrong, just a slightly worn feeling. And room decor is quite plain. But its all clean, in good repair, and comfy. The amenities included everything i could wish for, and the staff was wonderful. I really enjoyed my stay. I don't know much about the area but it was safe and the room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable.

Was staying here because I was attending a convention and the Inn/Spa/Resort was full. While it was not high luxury, it was a good place to stay. Room was clean and quiet, although could use a bit of updating. Exterior needed a bit of work and I can assume that the management was working on it, since there were lots of sounds of construction work during the day. However they were gone and it was quiet at night, so it was good for what I wanted a hotel to be... quiet and comfortable place to lay my head. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This facility is very good . The complimentary breakfast is more than adequate. Room was clean and well appointed but a lamp for the writing desk would be better. There is only 1 wheel chair access ramp for the whole property. A ramp at each building would be much more conveinent

Don't let the Presidential Jacuzzi suite sell you on this room...It was a standard suite. The bath tub had a few jets in it, but was located right next to the toilet in the small bathroom, so it was far from a romantic evening...in fact there wasn't enough room to squeeze a sink in the bathroom, so it was in the bedroom.

We had a large block of rooms booked for a business trip. The manager Nick Aguirre and Troy Gray took excellent care of the entire party. First class service at a great hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting in the area. Very affordable, clean and comfortable.

Stayed here four nights for an event in town. Creepy people hanging out everywhere one guy lived in the hotel at the top of the stairs every time we went to her room he came out and said inappropriate things to us the grounds are dirty. The hotel rooms are decent. I wouldn't stay there again

Comfortable. Very good location, close to stores and very good dining. Employees at front desk were very welcoming and helpful. Early in my stay I was hospitalized with blood clots in lungs and legs. My wife was now alone in a place we had never been. Best Western went way out of there way to comfort and accommodate my wife in any way, even providing transportation to and from hospital, which fortunately was nearby. They even offered a medical rate if we needed to stay longer. Thank you Best Western for providing such comfort and care for my wife.

From the outside it looks pretty but our room was pretty run down. We had a room with a suite and it needed a little bit of a facelift. However my mom stayed in a regular queen room and it was very nice and well kept. The rooms are clean, but I wouldn't recommend getting a suite just because they are kind of gross since you can tell they have been well used.

Even though this property is located on a major street in North Tucson, I was not bothered by traffic noise in my room and slept very well. The bed was softer than I was expecting, but it was still comfortable and once I fell asleep, I stayed asleep. The pillows in the room were not as good as I have had at other BW properties, but they were still adequate. Because of my BW Rewards status, my room was upgraded from my original reservation. I was given a king room suite, which was much more than I needed for one person for a 1 night stay, but I still appreciated the upgrade. There were some good amenities, most I did not use, such as bbq grills for guests and the exercise room. If there is a negative about this property is that it feels cramped for the number rooms and what I mean by this is the jacuzzi/spa & pool are small, the breakfast area is small, so you feel like you're crammed together. It was very hard to move around the breakfast area. It's almost like the hotel has outgrown itself.

Best Westerns are pretty much our go-to lodging because they're affordable, clean, generally updated, and provide the necessary basics. The Tucson Foothills location provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The room was pretty quiet, clean, well-maintained, and allowed us to have a good night's sleep. I appreciated that they had the travel bottles of shampoo and conditioner as opposed to the dispensers in the shower (I hate those for some reason). The front desk staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Everything in the room worked well including the wi-fi. The complimentary breakfast was typical, it had a good selection including hot food and plenty of tables, but the food was on par with free hotel breakfasts meaning it isn't very good. But if you just want a light breakfast of cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc., it's fine. Just be aware that the location is about a fifteen or twenty minute drive to the downtown area or the University of Arizona campus, but on the upside, it is close to a lot of retail and decent restaurants. Especially considering the rates, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great service and a great hotel! The rooms were spacious, and housed two comfortable beds and a nice bathroom and shower. The laundry room was convenient and easy to find as well. The dining area had a really nice outdoor patio next to it, and the outdoor pool was the icing on the cake. The hotel is conveniently located near plenty of stores and restaurants, and really close to downtown Tucson. 10/10 on all points!

I atay at this hotel throughout the football season and several tmes during the year for meetings. The facility is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient, room is always clean with everything in working order and well equipped. The breakfasts are always very good, good variety and great biscuits and gravy.

Ashley at front desk was professional and delightful at check in. Renovated room was nice. Minor housekeeping oversights were quickly corrected. Bed comfortable and quiet. Pool area was nice for what it was and breakfast was nicely done with a good selection. Overall a very good experience and value. Based on some prior negative reviews, I would say that this hotel is on track to being better. Would definitely return.

I stayed here for one night on a road trip a few months ago. I found the staff courteous and helpful and the room was clean and tidy, if a bit on the smaller side. The walls seemed a bit thin, as I could easily hear the TV in the next room. Apparently there is a BBQ that people can rent, because some of the guests were having a cook out downstairs. The breakfast is held in a small cabana-like structure near the pool, which is cute but was super-busy on the day I was there. The hotel wasn't overly expensive and there was decent access to a number of nearby restaurants and shopping areas. Overall, a decent value for the money.

Room was comfy and clean, check - in was quick, definitely some renovations going on so the grounds weren't as tidy as probably would normally be. Only stayed one night breakfast was an added value with a family of 4. Really great staff, we requested towels and a tooth brush and they were brought to our room freakishly fast which was great!!

We stayed here on our way to New Mexico to visit White Sands and Carlsbad Caverns. The room was great the beds were comfortable and I appreciated that the air conditioning was already running when we got to the room after having spent six hours crossing the Arizona desert. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast which is complementary is excellent. There is something for everyone kids, Health-conscious guests, and Hearty eater is alike. The breakfast offers oatmeal,fruit,yogurt as well as hot items like bacon and eggs. The room is also beyond believe affordable especially if you're traveling and staying in many hotels like we were over the course of a week. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

This hotel has the potential to be a real nice place in a great location. Currently it has the care of a lower priced hotel. No major issues, just wear and tear like a chipped tub, a light switch that gets wet when you shower, no sink in the bathroom...

Nice Room. Clean Grounds. Nice Happy Hour and friendly professional staff. We we're pleasantly surprised to learn that on the first Weds on the month there is a managers special during happy hour. Grilled Beef Burger and Hotdogs. That was a nice treat.

It hadn't happened for more than 15 years that I walked into my hotel and realize this is way off from expected. Well, this place did it and thankfully I had time to cancel and go somewhere else. Not sure, how average ratings is 4 out of 5!

These guys hired an amazing photographer because in reality it looks nothing like the pics. We rented the jacuzzi suite and it was just nasty. Painted tub had paint peeling off, broken tiles on the wall, cabinet doors that won't shut, toilet paper sticking out of the vent, no bedding for the sleeper sofa. We stayed one night because the baby was tired and too late to leave, but cancelled the rest of the nights. It was bad y'all! The low price should have been a warning. Lesson learned!

The room, customer service, and internet were excellent and the breakfast was delicious. I will stay there again. I highly recommend this hotel for your group and family events. Price is reasonably good.

This is our go to place every year for our boys basketball tournament. The staff is courtesy and helpful. They give us great deal for large groups. The location is great near many stores and restaurants.

Awesome! Great ‘economy' room, fabulous happy hour with 2 drinks and goodies like chips and salsa and popcorn. You can also order dinner there-nothing fancy but better than driving after a long day. The breakfast amazing!! The room was super clean and new. Bed large and comfy. The pool area was pretty good, hot tub was hot, but jets need some work. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Make your own breakfast burritos-and more! Worth the drive to get there.

I liked this place. Comfortable bed, nice shower, outdoor pool area was pretty nice, and the hot tub worked -- which is getting to be a rare thing at lots of hotels these days. The breakfast room is small and was crowded and uncomfortable. The desk people were very nice and welcoming.

I called on my way into Tucson as I had a very day planned. Mariam was very helpful and friendly. She took care my needs in a very professional manner. After my stay I noticed I had used the wrong card. I called Mariam and she fixed it for me immediately. I was very impressed.

Remodeling underway. Staff friendly at check in and check out. The rooms are almost complete. The location is ideal. Places to eat nearby. Noticed customer or staff getting dressed outside behind the bushes near the end of the building. Not good with families outside.

Clean friendly and accommodating. Big breakfast selection and Soloman works hard to make it happen. Had to be at a conference early and they opened the breakfast early. The jacuzzi doesn't have the best jets but happy hour makes up for it! All the staff knew the jobs and did them well. Nice king suite with good mattress and many pillows.

Location is great; so is staff. All the regular BW complementary stuff: better--than average breakfast, bottled water; hosted happy hour. All good. Facility--not so much. I had booked a suite for my wife, adult daughter and toddler granddaughter. The 'kitchenette' consisted of a bar just inside the door with stools that had to be moved to get around in the living area--if you sat at the bar, it was very difficult to get out of the room; if you moved the stools to get out of the room, the only place to put them was on the hide-a-bed if was made up as a bed, or in front of the couch, if it was made up as a couch, or behind the bar, which made the micro fridge and a 2-burner cook top inaccessible. We could have put them in the bathroom, but it was only big enough for one person at a time as it was. We wound up putting them the bedroom, against a window wall along the far side of the bed. requiring a bit of a remodel when leaving the room, or going to bed. Oh, and peeling wallpaper corners; a broken ironing board and a corner room with a three-way guest access past two windows for other parts of the property--so we has plenty of later night noise in case we were bored. Not going back.

This is the only hotel in Tucson that has a jacuzzi right next to the bed that fits two people. Our expectations are high because we usually stay at Hilton's. This is an old establishment and needs renovating and a good cleaning. There were two cockroaches in the kitchen, used tissues in the night stand and the bed in the couch wasn't cleaned. Tv was pretty fuzzy but it was alright with HBO channels. Breakfast was okay it is free, but again needs cleaning in the area. Wish I liked it more, me and my husband stayed here for our honeymoon. Great customer service, they even got us an HDMI chord to use.

I truly wanted to give this hotel a good rating. It's not top of the line, but is decent for the price. However, about halfway thru our 6-night stay, my husband's iPhone was stolen from the breakfast room. He put it down for an instant to get some juice, turned around and it was gone. All the people sitting in the room said yeah, a white guy with tattoos grabbed it and ran out the door. Of course no one said a word. Unfortunately this hotel has a breakfast area that is a separate building by the pool, and it's not key carded. We suspected a lot of the people eating in there were not hotel guests, but rather homeless people and construction workers who literally walk in off the street. No one stops them and there are no security cameras on site!! Even the day we checked in, a man was sitting on the curb right outside our room, and clearly was not a hotel guest. I simply cannot recommend this hotel due to lack of security and the fact that they apparently "feed the neighborhood". Whatever money we saved by staying here was completely wiped out by us having to purchase another cell phone. Please spend more and stay in a safer hotel!!

This was my second stay at Best Western Tucson Foothills. We happened to arrive on a celebratory day of complimentary bbq and beers. It was great. The swimming pool had a nice temperature. Rooms were comfortably air conditioned and clean. Would stay again.

Great relaxing stay...complimentary breakfast, 2 free free drinks a day at the bar, gym, views of the foothills and staff was courteous and friendly...what else can you ask for. My suite was plush and comfy...and an added bonus, a kitchenette, wet bar, refrigerator and microwave. They leave you a bottle of water everyday which was nice touch! I definitely will come back!!

I stayed two nights at this wonderful location. Everything you could possibly need is within 2 miles of this place. It is amazing. The staff is super friendly, very attentive and helpful. The breakfast is AMAZING featuring delicious scrambled eggs, a hot bar and tasty potatoes (my favorite). They also have a lovely pool and hot tub which I have attached a picture of. I would happily stay here again and again.

This is a super sweet Best Western; and while the name doesn't denote it as a plus, I'd say it is a BW++ and then some. Super fast and friendly check in from well-staffed front desk. Plenty of room side parking for larger vehicles. I really like the layout of this hotel especially the way the swimming pool and restaurant are in the center courtyard area and the hotel rooms surround the perimeter. It's also nice to see a hotel swimming pool with a nine foot section. I dig the multiple sunbathing areas and tennis court/basketball goal as well. Plenty of dining options in walking distance, but the complimentary hot breakfast and dinner social was enough sustenance to get me through the day. This is a really sharp Best Western; probably the nicest I've ever been to. Staying here was a great experience and I definitely would stay here again when touring through Arizona.

I stayed in room 279. Upon entering the room I stepped on a loose floor tile. Door lock did not secure the door comfortably. In the bathtoom, the sink drain plug was broken. The tub still had cleaning solution on it. The bed top cover needed cleaning. It had a lot of small hairs on it, and I removed from the bed. Television did not have a clear picture. I also could not locate a channel guide anywhere in the room. Although this room was.designated as

The room was dirty , needed vacuuming . the bathroom floor was filthy with pee stain on the floor in front of the toilet. There was dog urine on the walkways where ever there was foliage should be hosed off. The floors at happy hour were sticky as were the tables. The bed smelled .

The location for shopping and medical appointments is wonderful. The kitchenette was nice, bathroom accessible, large oversized room, comfortable bed. Enjoyed the breakfast area, hot coffee and friendly staff. They need to pay attention to details, missing cabinet door in kitchenette, and burned out light bulbs. Would recommend.

I've stayed here numerous times because I have family both downtown and in the foothills. The rooms are nice, the staff is great, breakfast is THE BEST with a complete help-yourself menu down by the pool. The location is perfect whether your heading north or south. Everything seems close by.

Wow! I had a great stay at the Best Western Inn Suites. The suite was spacious, I could've easily had my family stay too though I was on my own this trip. They had a kitchenette with sink, stove top, refrigerator, and a microwave. The pool and Jacuzzi were beautiful and comfortable. I love that the suite was conveniently located. It was clean and comfortable. Right across the street were a couple of fast foot restaurants and when I googled 'Best restaurants Tuscon' I discovered several of the top ten were nearby. There's also a drug store and a clothing store across the street as well. The staff were absolutely amazing. Very accommodating and friendly even when I got in very late for check in. Even gave me a complimentary razor :) Aaaaaaand wow - complimentary hot breakfast buffet. One day they had build your own breakfast burritos and the next sausage, eggs, and biscuits and gravy. Every day they had cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, and a waffle station. And if that weren't enough each night they have a social hour where guests receive 2 complimentary drinks AND appetizers. Nachos one night and egg rolls the next. The bartender was especially nice. When I put a tip in her jar she said, 'Thank you very much, I really appreciate it'. If you're in Tuscon I highly recommend you stay here!

parking was full and awkward for rooms in the interior courtyard and the front desk staff wasn't too friendly but the rooms are very nice, clean and quiet so i gave it 4 stars and wifi was strong and good.

Not recommended . This hotel is overpriced. The exterior is trashy at best. Not isual best western quality. The housekeeping service is slow to non existent, and my card info was stolen. I was misled to think this would be like other Best Western hotels.

Upon arrival the tv didn't work. The (alarm) clock didn't work, it was the only clock in the room. In the pull out bed the sheets hadn't been changed from the previous people. I called front desk and they said housekeeping had already gone home but they'd bring by sheets. They only brought one. The room was older and more outdated than the pictures. Didn't look clean. The worst part was the walls are PAPER THIN. Like so thin you can hear every word of every conversation from the rooms around you. The people above me came home at 1am and woke everyone in the room up and we had to listen to them having sex like they were in our room. I barely slept the entire week stay. Housekeeping did not come to the room 3 days straight, even after I called and requested them to come. We had trashed piled up everywhere. I would not recommend this hotel. It almost ruined my vacation. Pros: the pool was heated and nice, air conditioning in the room worked great, free breakfast was nice but same thing every day.

My family of four stayed here and the rooms are comfy but a little small. The A/C froze us out even though it was 90 degrees outside. The breakfast was great. I would choose this hotel for future trips.

Tuscon is hot. Like really hot. Staying cool is majorly important and this Best Western had powerful, working air conditioning. The rooms were large, clean, and modern. The staff was great too. The layout is cool and unique to this Best Western with a community area recessed in the shade, that's actually pretty nice to hang out in. The pool was clean and unbelievably refreshing, and the hot tub was not for me on this hot day, but I'm sure could of been used at night. Breakfast was excellent and filling as well. Located on a busy street, there's plenty of food nearby as well. Wouldn't mind staying cool here again!

Having stayed in may hotels over the years, I have to say this hotel has very comfortable beds. An absolute must for me. It is an older hotel, but the outside and every room I have stayed in have always been clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast buffet has a good variety, and is always tasty. They have a happy hour in the evenings with 2 complementary glasses of beer or wine. I have spent 8-12 nights here in the last year or so. Never a single issue.

Seemed like a hotel for homeless with the number of people hangibg out at hotel dressed as if they lived on the street. Would highly suggest checking into BW at Airport instead. Guest services/front desk was unpleasant and unprofessional. Guests sitting in rooms with doors open while laying on beds. Men hanging around stairwell as if they lived there. People banging on doors in middle of night. Horrible experience. Would NOT recommend.

I was told i was in a renovated room but the renovations were pretty inconsistent. The bathrooms were clearly renovated and were nice. However paint, doors, kitchenette clearly showed wear and you could tell it was very quickly done painting updates. The kitchenette sink had hard water stains, The trim around doors, closet were just patches and the choice to go with a dark chocolate paint color was a bad choice and/or cheap paint as there were already alot of marks on the wall where paint was already coming off. Carpet was not laid correctly. Just overall you can tell

Good central location to shopping and activities in the Foothills, this hotel was also convenient to the homes of friends we were visiting. Breakfast is good and the price is right. Although clean, the rooms are small and decor is dated. Nice pool area and BBQ grill available; I think there may also be a tennis court. Good for families on a budget. Also, a free happy hour every evening - looked nice, but we did not have time for it.

I was unfamiliar with this Best Western but soon found how uncomfortable this visit would be. We had 2 dogs with us. The room was upstairs and there are no elevators on this premise. I didn't know this but we accepted this issue. When we arrived there were people partying quite loudly. Boom box type of loudness and this includes another loud stereo in the parking lot(vehicle). I first thought it will calm down since it was early. Our purpose was to vacation and rest. This group of people were on the premise and continued to party ignoring the needs of a very small baby who screamed for a long stretch of time over the partying. We saw grounds keepers around these people but they did nothing about the noise. I called around 8 or so and complained about the noise and they said they would check on it. If they checked on it the noise would have reduced. The manager told me I should have called back...really? Why do I have to monitor the noise in his hotel? He never checked on it. This went on until 1:30 in the morning. We were stuck. We had plans to go to the biosphere and had planned on leaving our dogs in the room that we paid extra to have the dogs. Needless to say, we never made it to the biosphere since a check in is at 3 pm. We couldn't leave our dogs in the car. The manager basically told me that different people have different opinions of what noise is! What! I told him i knew the difference between noise and full fledged partying!!!!!On top of all this, we had a water bowl on the carpet and 3 fleas we're in it. I brought them to the manager and he first blamed the dog downstairs who was loose and tried to attack my dogs. Oh yeah, forgot to tell you about that experience. Then he blamed it on my dogs for bringing in the fleas. My dogs are on flea medication. Now I have to worry about these fleas in my home. I don't recommend this hotel. I wanted a full refund which the manager refused. He offer me some points which I didn't want. So hopefully corporate will know how to treat a customer.

Very clean room, bed, sheets, towels, etc. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options - one of the best spreads I have had. Great staff - Mariam was awesome at Check-In. The complimentary happy hour was a nice perk - we will stay again!

The room smelled horrible. Housekeeping are dishonest , thieves who did not turn in a pair of my favorite jeans I left behind. The pillows hurt my neck and the bed caved in to the middle. Neither my bf or I slept much at all. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. You do hear flushing, showers and people talking thru the walls when it's quiet with no tv. They do have a bar not a lounge, it's located in the breakfast buffet area. Pool looked awesome, clean grounds. Tip: Try to get a corner room as then you only have 2 adjoining walls.

This hotel is a bit run down. The carpet in our room was dirty and there was a tile falling off the baseboard in the bathroom. The hot tub and pool area needs cleaned. The kitchenette isn't functional- there's a cooktop, but no pots or pans, dishes, or silverware. We appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening and the breakfast was nice. This place just needs a good cleaning and some repairs and it would be much nicer.

At first glance I was very happy with this Best Western but I'm afraid things went downhill fast. We had a lot of problems. First was the singing toilet, they did come and fix that but the toilet needs to be replaced since it doesn't flush properly. Then we noticed the strike plate on the door was missing one of the screws and close to coming off. someone came to fix this but then when we came back in the evening the security lock wouldn't close. They came to fix that the next day but the door does not fit properly and needs to be replaced. The other problem was the noise, not the fault of the hotel but you could hear every sound outside our room. People yelling and it sounded like luggage races up the walkway. If you don't want to be keep awake from the noise get a room as far from the social area and pool as possible. We were given 2000 points but I really think for all the trouble we should have been given enough for a free night. The staff at the hotel were friendly and our room was clean and the bed was good.

Pros:Nice friendly office staff, Good cleaning staff, Great daily social hour, live music certain nights, better than average breakfast Cons: Pool area rather loud most of the time, The outdoor walkways by the rooms are a poured cement that has ruts designed in them to give the look of tile squares. The result is a railroad track type sound of every wheeled suitcase or cleaning cart that passes over them. This sound goes on all day and evening.. Very annoying. If you want to travel north on Oracle Rd outside the hotel you have to go south and make a you turn. This can be very difficult and dangerous during peak travel times of the day.

Stayed here 4 nights and found our room/section of this particular Best Western to be a bit "tired". (We asked for a quiet room and we ended up staying across from the Post Office which had trucks coming/going in the morning but still relatively quiet.) The best amenity was probably the Social/Happy Hour (between 5PM and 6PM (I believe) where they comped two adult beverages (wine or beer). It was a great opportunity to chat with other guests and share travel trips. The breakfast was also exceptional and offered a variety of options. Please note that the breakfast room can be very crowded so you may just want to grab your food and head to the room if you can't find a seat.) We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The hotel location was proximate to the Tucson events that we wanted to do. Conclusion: Consider this hotel if looking for an "ok" value (when considering the included breakfast and Happy Hour) and you don't mind a dated hotel.

I love the rooms at this property. They were recently upgraded. It was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was good. The breakfast area is a little too small if the hotel is busy, so eat early! Overall I enjoyed my stay at this property.

You will love this beautiful 5 start Best Western, easy to get to from the interstate 10. You will be amaze how beautiful and clean the rooms are, the pool is heated and exercise room have excellent work equipment, the breakfast will blow your mind, the food is outstanding, and delicious. The staff goes out of their way to ensure your stay at the hotel is the best you every had. Close to all major shopping mail and excellent restaurant.

Bed comfortable, place a bit noisy. Breakfast was really good. Staff was helpful. Hotel was busy but the area is nice. Neighbors were very noisy and inconsiderate of others. Rates could have been better.

Check in was great, very helpful and efficient. Nice place with large spacious rooms. Prices were a bit high, but it reasonable I guess (199.00) for king suite. The only real problem I had was it did not seem cleaned well. Drink rings on counter, no shampoo in shower and the rug seemed wet in some places. I'd stay here again if I were in town, lots of nice places to eat and shop close by.

My wife and I stayed here on a quick getaway for work. We chose the hotel for its proximity to hike Ventana Canyon. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room and we thoroughly enjoyed the in ground hot tub. The breakfast was great with no complaints. Thanks for a nice stay.

We stayed 3 nights and plan on staying when we visit Oro Valley again. Room was clean, staff was friendly, hot breakfast in the morning was good, with the exception the eggs were consistently over cooked and very dry. Wine/Beer in the evening was a pleasant surprise and enjoyable. Biggest concern: Hotel is classified as a non-smoking hotel, but every day we experienced problems getting in/out of our room and having to get past smokers standing in their door way smoking. Smokers were also out by the pool, some even smoked marijuana. Hotel does not have a specific area for smokers to go to and walkways and pool area does not have any no smoking signs posted. This we found quite disturbing. If this issue didn't exist, we'd give this hotel a much better rating.

The room given for the reservation was found to be on the second floor. This hotel does not have an elevator. A short half an hour later we were given a room on the first floor. The room was great. Clean and large with a wet bar.

This hotel is an excellent choice for vacationers. The location provides good access to much of the best that Tucson has to offer. The hot breakfast buffet provides lots of options and the quality is good. There are also manager's receptions each evening providing each guest with two free beers or glasses of wine and munchies. Some nights there is entertainment. On two of the nights we stayed there, Troy Gray, a sort of Mexican/Spanish fusion guitarist played and he was just excellent. I could not believe we were able to hear someone that good for free at a hotel reception and I now have acquired three of his albums. TripAdvisor won't let me provide a link to his website or vendors featuring his music but it won't be hard to find. Just to the west of the hotel is an undeveloped area where you can get an up close look at a wide range of cacti and native plants/trees.

We stayed two nights. Arrived early and checked on status on duty was Mariam who was very rude. Said to come back at 3:00 pm. When will came back sooner , she was gone and the next lady was much nicer. . They said the room was an upgrade and quite. All the rooms have doors outside ... so quite is not going to happen . You hear the role bags, the pool area , toilets, shower s and heaters. The room was in need of some updating . The bed and pillows not comfortable . Breakfast and evening snacks served in a building by the pool between Bldg . Standard items , very crowded .it was cold out , so sitting outside was not a good option . Over all for the price and being a diamond member . I would not stay here again .

My room was nice, the free breakfast and happy hour were a nice touch, and the accommodations were comfortable. The outdoor walkways that ran in front of the rooms made it noisy when people walked by or talked outside. The front desk staff was very nice. I'd stay here again; it was a great value and conveniently located.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Foothills and Suites this last weekend. There are many good things about this place: 1. Great, hot and fresh breakfast in Pjs cafe. 2. Clean rooms when arrived and clean grounds 3. Quick and friendly check-in There were some bad things that should be addressed by management 1. After the first night there, I left a tip on the toilet seat for the cleaning service. When we came back that night, the tip was gone, and the room was not cleaned, nothing restocked. I went to the front desk to complain and she handed me towels and coffee and said how surprised she was this happened. 2. After the second night, I talked to the cleaning service and confirmed our room would be cleaned, telling her of the experience the day before. When we came back that night, the roomed was cleaned, but my husband's phone charger was gone. We went to the front desk and she said she would tell the manager. 3. We told the front desk that the toilet was running all night but she never sent anyone to look at it. My husband fixed it. 4. There was a guitarist playing at Pjs cafe Sunday night, but we were never told about it and he barely had an audience, although I came down right at the last song. We would have loved to have been told about the live music and bar, as we were just sitting in our room bored. Luckily, the bar tender gave me my two free beers that we would have had from the social hour. After all is said and done, I would like to hear from the manager about the theft and the taking of the tip without cleaning the room. I would like to come back as the location is the best for where we were visiting but am not sure yet...there are other hotels to try.

Stayed here while working in Tucson and it was wonderful! The rooms were clean, great amenities, and the staff was wonderful. The food was great as well. It was perfectly located in the northern part of Tucson, but if you're looking to go south easily, this may not be the place. I would definitely stay here again!

Horrible experience!! We were there for only one night and asked for a quiet room after traveling from the East Coast. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the rooms are not near the lobby area. We had to cross the parking lot, go up a flight of stairs and then enter our room. The room was dated, musty and dark. Next to us was a room full of fellows that decided to party all night. Cars were going in and out of the parking lot and people were getting out to "mingle." I called front desk multiple times to stop the noise and eventually threatened to call 911. No apologies the next day, no calls back from management after calling several times. Do not book this hotel!

There was a lot of renovation happening at this motel. Due to the gem show going on, the rates per night were more than DOUBLED. THe breakfast was good and the staff was very outgoing as well as helpful. The room was somewhat smaller than other Best Westerns.

Needs to be fixed up. Tile and wall paper need to be repaired. Pool and jacuzzi needs to be warmer and seems old. Parking lot had a bus stay over night that ran the engine and was very loud. Also ther was a lot of glass in the parking lot.

Our room was upgraded when we checked in. Very well kept property. Breakfast was very expanded. We arrived at the tale end of social hour, so all we had was a drink. Food was empty, so not sure what was available. Also, the room had a very comfortable bed.

The room was clean, the people at the desk were nice and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was fine. However, the room had no closet. I've never been to a hotel, even the tiniest room in the cheapest hotel, without a closet. No hairdryer. I heard someone ask for one at the main desk, so they have them, but they don't keep them in the room. I find that bizarre. The toilet in the room made a 3-4 minute squealing noise after each flush. We asked to have it fixed, and it no longer made the noise after a flush. It randomly made the noise every hour or so, all night long. I was awakened several times throughout the night. The only way to stop it was to flush the toilet. We're likely never coming back to Tucson again, but if we do we will not be staying here.

This BEST WESTERN was one of the best best westerns we have stayed at in the TUCSON area.There were some problems as in breakfast coffee empty often and evening social hour running out of food way early. Both problems more with staff visiting to much and not paying attention to food situation. Painting of pool area causing many paint flakes in pool and hot tub. In room no closet or hooks to hang clothes or jackets. Now positive features. Rooms were clean, large, very comfortable bed. Pool is heated and jets in hot tub nice ( not bubbles and please GET RID OF ALL BUBBLE HOT TUBS, THEY ARE STUPID.) Social hour was nice and the music was most excellant. A man with a guitar playing spanish music. Nice dance floor on roof of restaurant. Location is nice and central to all attractions.

We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western location but felt it needed a bit more attention to detail. There was no clock or radio in our room, one side of the bed did not have a lamp, there were no bathroom cups, and housekeeping never responded to our request for an extra blanket and almost-daily request for an extra towel and clean washcloths (we got them from the front desk eventually). There is a good deal of construction/renovation going on in that area, so our days started early whether we wanted them to or not! However, the complimentary breakfast was very good, including a free newspaper, and the daily social hour with free beer, wine, and appetizers was fabulous—a real treat after a day of sightseeing! And a nice surprise! The location is ideal and the area is safe, convenient and relatively clean. Updating the building and rooms should be a priority, though. We would stay here again, if only because of the location and the social hour!

Numerous items needed work in room. Garbage carts sitting around full of garbage. Bed was worn out and needs to be replaced. Couldn't use loyalty points for room-said they had too many people that day.

This in typical budget southwestern hotel with some special features. First it has some suites with 2 rooms where you can put the children to sleep in one room and party in the other. Then there is the happy hour where they serve drinks and a light snack, and some evenings live entertainment. For us there weren't enough towels, blankets and pillows but we called reception and they send us quickly. Great deep, heated pool where we had fun with the kids making nice memories and burning the calories from the breakfast. The west side where the garbage is has the best sunset views while the east facing rooms you can see sunrise if you wake up early. I liked the raised shower head.

This is the best place to stay in Tucson. It's in a safe area and everyone working here is fantastic. The rooms are modern, clean, and the bed is super comfortable. Look forward to my stay here everytime I come to Tucson.

We had a very noisy night here. From the people that clean the rooms to noisy people next to us. Had to call management at 4am to have them confront the people next to us to quiet down. I do have to say management did take care of the situation. Good job. As far as the staff. They were wheeling cleaning carts and talking on the two way radios till 10pm. Then people in general not being courteous. Talking loud as they walk to their room I can't control that. The walls are very thin in this establishment. When checking out I did complain about the noise and spoke to the manager who took 10% off our bill. There breakfast was good but was very busy at 7am with no place to sit. Next time I will find another place to stay.

My wife and I were visiting Tucson for the first and we booked this hotel for 6 nights. Rooms are spacious, clean and all amenities are in perfect condition (including wi-fi). TV picture is not of great quality, but we don't have the time to watch much tv in hotels anyway. Breakfast is great and items selection is ample. A couple of time though, we had to bring our food to our room for lack of seating (just shows how popular the place is). Overall very nice staff. Check-in/check-out experience very smooth and pretty fast.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and even had freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for the guests. The room was modern decor and clean. The breakfast was alot more than we expected, and was a full breakfast with many quality choices.

The rooms are on the small size, but our double queen had TWO fridges, which is nice, and a microwave and coffee maker. It's not a very quiet place; sound travels between the rooms with ease and we ran fan full time to mask it. Our room did not get serviced one day but usually it was fine. The morning breakfast was adequate though not fancy. It can get pretty crowded in the breakfast room and there were a number of transient workers staying at the hotel so it was busy at 6:30 upon opening. But the food was pretty good. Used the outdoor hot tub once on a cold night and it was nice and warm. It was on the inexpensive side and a decent room for the price; we'll go back again.

This place was clean and most things worked but there were lots of problems: The shower was too low of pressure plus you got shots of hot or cold water when your neighbor ran the water. The room was dark and disappointing for an executive suite. Bedroom was too small, kitchenette had nothing included so you could cook or eat there, some door hinges squeaked and the bedroom door had the ironing board and iron hanging on it so it slapped the door whenever you opened or closed it. The walls were also paper thin so you could easily hear other people in adjoining room. The breakfast was decent but the place was hard to find, hidden between buildings with no directions to it. It was very crowded and the poor lady working in there just could not keep up. The staff was friendly and responsive and the beds comfortable but this place needs a major remodel for sure. Not what I would expect from a Best Western Plus Hotel.

We stayed here 2 nights...both good and fair Good: Nice pool area, Happy hour (drinks and food) and GREAT music.We had small king , with 2 mini frigs, microwave. Breakfast better than most motel ones.. Price...it was $20 less a night than others. Fair: Room and facility. Walkways could use a good scrubbing. Room temp was either hot or cold.

Everything from the front desk to check out was exellent. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Hotel offers breakfast, heated pools and spa section. Hotel also offers an awesome rewards program with many perks that are useful.

So called social hour is 2 hours of bad guitar music turned up really loud. Very noisy and no insulation in the walls. I called the front desk to complain about the noise and was brushed off. Would NOT recommend.

Beautiful court yard pool area great value as always would like too see all best western become pet friendly this is the only down fall as we always travel with our small dog and have had to stay at other hotels due to this

Very noisy. No insulation between rooms. Windows single Payne. Heard every conversation near pool. Crying baby next door and parents shushing child. Heard everything, Could not sleep at all. Hotel was great if you planned on getting no sleep.

Scenic location. Has a free shuttle from the airport. Only two floors(only stairs) outdoor entry. Everyone was very helpful at the 24 hr. front desk.Free coffee in the lobby I was in the Presidential Suite! Only about '375 sq. But was just right for this solo traveler.The room was clean,separate living room,bath area and balcony. Outdoor pool Had a great view of foothills( on top floor) free breakfast was better than average,managers evening social had 2 free drinks & light snakes.It was just right for me, remember, I had one of the larger rooms :) I would stay here again. Had a nice time!!

AWESOME: The Facilities, Staff, from top to bottom, as well as the Cleaning, and Maintenance crews are first rate! All are customer oriented and care for the customer is evident throughout the operation. Pool is great, Bar, Happy hour, is a good way to spend early evening. And the breakfast is varied and very good. My wife is picky and she is OK using the clean and easy to find laundry room. It is and easy 10-15 minutes to University of Arizona, to University Banner Hospital and Cancer Center as well as many shops and restaurants ranging from gourmet to fast foods. My wife and I have made Best Western Innsuites Tucson Foothills Hotel and Suites our "go to place" in Tucson.

This is where we usually stay when we are in Tucson. It is convenient to shopping and dining and is a short drive to I 10. The staff has always been very helpful. This time we had to extend our stay by one day as mu husband did not feel well. No problem.

I loved the heated pool, which I had to myself. It was cold outside, but, I am Alaskan, so no biggy. The room wasn't super clean, but, definitely, not bad. The tub didn't drain, properly, which I reported on my way out. The staff was calling maintenance to deal with it, as I left.

Awesome Stay. I really enjoyed the provided happy hour and Continental Breakfast. My suite was very Clean and Comfortable! I highly recommend! We had 5 rooms booked total and they gave us an awesome group rate. Everyone in my party enjoyed the stay.

A good value for money hotel, near plenty of restaurants, the Tucson mall and the Premium outlet stores in Marana. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, microwave, and 2 fridges in our room. There's a heated outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and a breakfast area next door. You get 2 free drinks per guest during social hour in the evening.

A good breakfast, grilling facilities for a more inexpensive dinner in the room, a nice warm Jacuzzi at the end of the day, and plenty of seating (a desk, AND a table for dining AND a sofa!)...it was a good stay. What most BW's should be.

Stayed at this Best Western before next day flight from Tucson airport. Check-in early was no problem. I was upgraded to a suite for no extra charge. Grounds were beautiful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. All in all this was the third Best Western I stayed at on this trip and I was extremely impressed with all the staff and quality of this hotel chain. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location for hiking, microbrews and food. Chef Alisha's Bosnian and European food only a couple of blocks away and a reason in itself to stay here and visit ups on! Room clean and quiet. Comfortable bed.

Stayed here for a business trip. Breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately I Had bites marks from some bug. Staff did not handle well. Will not be staying here again. Contacted management and they did not seem to take the issue serious.

Disappointed in confirming scheduling lodging arrangements. Initially, we had arranged and confirmed three nights. The first two nights were fine; however there was some misunderstanding regarding the third night lodging arrangements. We communicated that we were going to use rewards points to cover the cost of the third night. When we returned for the third night, we couldn't access the room and were told we had been checked out. I met with the front desk clerk who advised me that we would need to re-check in only if a room was available. Our personal items were stored in the maintenance/laundry room & were located after some confusion. The frustration of the situation could have been avoided had we been informed when we checked in.

Used a 2nd time when I found the1st experience with BW in the same trip to be very satisfying. Beds look clean at 1st seeing them, then the comfort of bed was great. Also used the frig both occasions but not the coffee pot. Used BW twice without planning to, now without question I would reserve ahead and plan on staying.i think your marketing should focus on this senerio get us to reserve before the trip. This way you for sure get the 1st floor non smoking 2 b3ds etc

We enjoyed the Best Western here in Tucson. They gave us a great room. We had a separate living area with it's own TV, large bedroom with huge Jacuzzi tub with another TV. Bar with a cook-top and microwave. It was really just an apartment. Very clean, and everything worked. Very reasonable rate also. Ask for room 159.

this hotel offers a nice pool and the clubhouse offers a good breakfast and afternoon happy hour. The staff is friendly and the service is good. Free wi fi is a nice touch. The location of the hotel is great and is easy to get to from Hwy 10. The grounds are well kept and there is plenty of parking.

Rooms were clean and very nice. Contruction was being done, however, there were nails and screws left out our entire 4 night stay. Cigerate butts were in the same place on stairs and hallway the entire 4 nigths as well. Pool was very nice. Horrible beds.

The last time I stayed at this property I had a great experience. This stay I had a problem with the TV that wasn't fixed during my weeklong stay. Disappointing. Otherwise the hotel is a good place for me to stay while I'm in the area visiting my elderly parents. The location is convenient, the property is well-maintained, the beds are good, the breakfast is fine, and the rooms have been refurbished except for the toilets which are so low it seems like the seat is only 12 inches above the floor.

I stayed here for the 35th El Tour De Tucson bike event 37 mile leg. The hotel is about half way between the start point and end of the race. It was convenient and comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff. Very clean rooms and PJs Happy Hour was great. Didn't have time to check out the breakfast. great areas to walk the dogs. Upgraded my room and the king room was great with the mini kitchen

The roll in shower worked great for our shower chair. The overall accessibility of the hotel was good. Breakfast bar was great! Options included a waffle bar, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, several juices, muffins & pastries, yogurts, cereal, oatmeal. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We spent three nights at the Best Western InnSuites Tuscon Foothills and it was a great stay. The hotel is old, but very well maintained and the sleeping rooms have been modernized and are very nice. The breakfast and happy hour was outstanding. The staff was great!

This Best Western was handy to the Highland Games at Relito Park., We love the pool/patio area with the restaurant/bar on-site. Our King room had a kitchenette just like a time share. We roomed here last year and will room here again for the games.

I have been coming every month on business to Tucson Az. For a few years... Staff is very friendly and accommodating . They have the BEST traditional breakfast out of any best western I've stayed at!!! Good rates too!

We have stayed at this particular hotel frequently in the past and it always exceeded our expectations. This time we were appalled to find the state of things. The room had stains on the carpet and mold in the grout in the bathroom. There were cigarette butts lying everywhere around the grounds, even though it is a non-smoking establishment. There were stains on the sheets and a pile of cigarette ashes on the counter under the sink. Hubby had to kick a cockroach out of the way of our door when we arrived at our room. This place was always spotless and fresh on other visits. I don't know what has changed, but it certainly wasn't for the better.

Newly remodeled. Everyone was friendly and seemed happy that you were there.. Jeff the manager went out of his way to insure we were happy customers. Though it was a quiet family place it had a festive atmosphere. Good breakfast. Great value!!!

Room was very clean and staff very accommodating. Overall though the location was noisey and the collection of garbage early in the am awoke me. Unfortunately little I could do to remedy this, once it had happened.

I stayed for 5 night at this hotel. Check in was fine and I received a bottle of water. The room was difficult to find towards the back of the property. It was a normal room with all the normal items in functioning order. The only difference was that it had a "stovetop" in a small area trying to be a kitchenette. Mostly it just seemed in the way. I would say that the room was older, but only the bathroom really showed the age that badly. I worked nights and slept during the day. I had to change rooms during my stay because the construction noise was so bad that I could not sleep or even talk on the phone when I called the front desk. I was given another room, but I felt like they thought I was trying to get an upgrade at no cost. The breakfast building is towards the back of the property by the pool. It was a nice area that also functioned as a bar in the evening. The breakfast was above average with all the usual food. (powdered eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, pastries, etc...) The pool area was nice and the space between the buildings on the 2nd floor was connected above the breakfast building. Tables and chairs which were nice. The second room I had was a suite. There was a bar area, a sitting area, and a separate bedroom with a sink. The bathroom was by the bar area. I thought that was odd since you could not access it from the bedroom. Overall, not a bad room. The front desk area had computers, but one of them was not working when I was there. The lobby was a little awkward, but okay. The location wasn't bad and there was an Eegee's across the street. Not much else in really close walking distance. But, within a mile there were more options.

We only spent one night here, but it was a good night. The room was clean and looked newly remodeled. Our bed was comfortable and the room had all that we could have needed. Breakfast was amazing, and there was seating available inside or out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I called to see if I needed to do anything to check out. She said she could do it over the phone. I told her we weren't quite ready, but would be out by the check out time. She said that was fine, and she would do it then. By the way, check out was not until 12:00. That gave us time to go out and ride our bikes on the Tucson Loop and come back for a shower before leaving. It was a wonderful stay. We will stay here again when we visit our family here again.

Room was nice and clean. Bed comfortable. Staff very friendly. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had at a motel. Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, hash browns, cereal, and much more.

Staff was very nice. Location was perfect for where we wanted to go. We visited the Sabino Canyon, Mt. Lemmon and Saguaro National Park (West). Casa Adobes is a nice area which had everything we needed. The place is older but is remodeled. Our room was updated and clean. We faced the courtyard which has a pool. That was loud until close at 10pm. Breakfast was surprising. Much more than standard Continental. Waffles, eggs, bacon etc…

I have been staying at this BW InnSuites for the past 12 years and I have choose this location because I have friends and business associates that I visit when I come to Tucson. Most all of the time I have been very happy with my accommodation until this time when, internet and phones were not up to expectations. I hope that my next stay will be better.

This hotel is very close to all of our favorite activities as well as shopping and family. The service you receive from the front desk, the restaurant staff and the cleaning crews are truly wonderful and breakfast is outstanding.

We have stayed at this hotel for many years. The rooms have been upgraded. We usually have items for the freezer or refrigerator as we go from summer home to winter home and the in-room fridge is usually adequate. If not, the staff has been happy to keep our frozen goods in the freezer in their bar/breakfast room for a night or two.

I arrived at the Best Western Foothills mid evening and found it on a busy street in a mixed residential and retail neighborhood. The rate I had reserved was quite reasonable for a weeknight. Check in was very friendly and I headed for my room. There is an array of different buildings, but I found where I was going without a problem. The room was a good size, but bore no resemblance in size, style, or architecture to the photos on the hotel's website. The air conditioner was set to 82 degrees, and took a very long time to cool the room down even a few degrees. Furnishings were in good condition and very clean. The curved shower rod was sagging, but the towels were excellent. The outdoor pool and whirlpool are in view of a row of picture windows in the lounge and its rooftop tables, but it started raining before I could decide whether I wanted to be in front of such a big audience. It also put a damper on the other activities in the courtyard area (like the big gas grills that were being used to make dinner for a group) so I wasn't bothered by noise during the night. Breakfast in the lounge featured a wide variety of hot and cold items. Checkout was quite slow with only one desk clerk on a Friday morning and guests with special requests ahead of me. There were some interesting characters in the parking lot as I departed, but nothing that caused any concern. It seemed part of a whole vibe around the Best Western, or the neighborhood, or maybe the city as a whole. It's been a very long time since I was last in Tucson so I can't say. I would probably return to the Foothills if I had business on this side of town.

I have stayed at this hotel over a number of years and have found it consistently excellent. The rooms are large, well equipped and always meticulously clean. Front desk staff are especially helpful and efficient.

We stayed at this hotel in Tucson, thinking that it was close to the airport. It actually was about 30 minutes away, but it was very nice, had an excellent breakfast, and was clean and a good value. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel.

This is a favorite destination for my daughter and me. We love spending time in Tucson to have casual outdoor activities and enjoy good food and sightseeing. The hotel is convenient to all the areas we like to visit.

We always stay at the Best Western Foothills every time we are in Tucson and not having been here for a year we were amazed by how much the property has changed. It is clear that the staff and management have been working tirelessly to update and remodel not only the rooms, but PJ's was BEAUTIFUL! As always the staff was kind, professional and attentive, delivering the pack and play we requested and even setting it up for us, the breakfast always exceeds our expectations, however this time we were able to enjoy the remodeled building as well. Our room was spacious and clean, with newly updated paint and carpet and the beds are amazing! The staff at the desk is always helpful and my family would like to thank Ashley at the front desk, Jan in PJ's and the general manager for going above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. Great value, location and staff! We'll see you next time!

Good value for the money. This is not a "resort", but a basic motel that is in the process of slowly being updated. Pool area is nice. My room was worn with old carpeting and scuffed walls, but all was clean and worked. Breakfast and social hour were a bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Burned by chemicals in ,in room hot tub kept breaking,manager was rude , reservation was for smoking ,but they changed all the rooms.almost stepped on a scorpion in bathroom in morning. Construction going on all 4 days we were there annoying...had to sak for towels and wait forever...got to our room to find other peoples clothes in the closet.... what a great cleaning job... made us wonder if they even changed thae sheets.....had to wait almost 2 hours for someone to come get that out of our room....

Good value, clean rooms, good service and pleasant staff.A few things could be improved- More Electrical outlets. Stability of refrigerator. Hated the pillows- too large. Breakfast place too small. Smoking all over the hotel,

The room was very clean and nice.Great linens. The breakfast was wonderful. Only small complaint was workers were staying at hotel and made a bit of noise early in the morning and late at night. Hot chocolate chip cookies were great. Staff very helpful and courteous.
