Have stayed here a number of times but this was the best Great hotel, stylish clean with excellent restaurant which you would go to even f you weren't staying there staff excellent and facilities great got room must insist on it....amazing

"Great hotel!"

Wonderful hotel for our family, with 2 teenage boys. Stayed 3 nights at the hotel, room was spacious and very comfortable, great amenities and very clean. Staff very friendly and everything was perfect. Lovely breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay!

"Wonderful hotel with fantastic restaurant!"

This is one of my favourite hotels and stay on regularly. It is simple but always welcoming and has very personal feel to it. The rooms are nice with good beds and pillows. WiFi excellent and so easy to join. Food in restaurant is first rate with fine wine list. Looking forward to my next stay!

"close to Leolandia amusement park"

We stayed here for 2 nights to be close to Leolandia amusement. We checked in very late but were cordially greeted at the parking lot. Rooms were simple and comfortable overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast was a standard fare. Overall the hotel is charming. Staff, in general, didn't proactively engage much with guests. This could make a big difference - offering coffee for breakfast vs self-service for example. Great running path nearby along the river!!!

"Very nice hotel"

Very nice hotel although we slept on the sofas bed it was comforteble. We had trouble with the receptionist they told us we had breakfast and the next day when we went to the breakfast room they told us we didn't have breakfast.. moreover the car parking is very small so if you go to the hotel late you don't have where to park...

"Relax "

Lovely place, quite and peaceful. I loved the room, cleaned and big. The staff has been really professional and nice. Nice food and restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for a business or family trip. Thank you

"Beautiful hotel with genuine grandeur and hospitality"

We loved the hotel from the first minute we've arrived: the villa is wonderfully decorated with great sense for detail. The reception is cool, chic, confident and attentive; our room spacious, convenient, with effective airco and fine bathroom. The inhouse restaurant is great and tastefully decorated too. Breakfast is very good and staff is friendly and attentive throughout. You walk within five minutes to the village square to engage in local life: we enjoyed!

"Good hotel in Trezzo small town"

Stay for two nights here for business visit. Very good front desk services. I had a problem with my room after checked-in. The receptionist lady tried all her best to find me another room which suit all my requirements. Little choices for the breakfast but maybe I can't be too choosy here for a small town standard in Italy. Local attractions within walking distance. Please, please remember to book your dinner table with your selected restaurant. Especially for Monday as most of the restaurants closed in this small town.

"Cozy luxurious and comfortable"

A beautiful hotel and extremely comfortable. Delicious breakfast and attentive staff. Very good experience. I was there for the wedding of my cousin so many friends and family members stay there including my husband and I, and everyone was very pleased.

"Very good hotel at Lombardy"

Nice hotel, with parking available and free WiFi. The breakfast has everything you need and some nice local offers; We also had dinner one night and food was delicious and great portions at a decent price. Service was courteous and friendly. Next time in the region we will return to this very good hotel.

The hotel is a small lovely hotel. The rooms are rather spacious. The bar in the hotel offers a wide selection of drinks in a very friendly atmosphere and the restaurant is outstanding. The free WiFi is fast

"Beautiful hotel"

We were attending the frontiers festival in April so the hotel was a perfect choice Only a 15 minute walk to the venue. The hotel is amazing and the decor is typical Italian .Beautiful .We were greeted by lovely staff and as we were a little early checking inthe receptionist asked if we'd like to sit outside in the sun and the waiter would bring us a drink .We were brought a few snacks to accompany our drink which was a nice touch . The room was lovely overlooking the courtyard with nice little toiletries in the bathroom .The breakfast was lovely .Plenty of choice. Bacon and eggs , pastries, cakes, yoghurt fruit and fresh orange juice . I would highly recommended this hotel and would definitely stay here again

Not much to say about this hotel during our mini Garda road trip. It was a one night stay enroute back to Milan. We were keen to find a local village about 45 mins from linate airport rather than have to go back into the hustle and bustle of milan and thank goodness we did. The hotel in style was stunning. Safe car parking, lovely courtyard before being greeted by staff who have genuine smiles and speak perfect English. The reception and internal areas of the hotel are stunning. What I dream of my dream italian house to be like if I was George Cloony or had millions of pounds. The room was stunning, spacious and opened out onto the terrace. Great aircon, fridge safe, good bathroom. Happy days. Restaurant we only had for breakfast and drinks in the evening. The bar man was lovely, helpful when providing me ice for an ice bucket for the room. Reasonable price beer and aperol and breakfast itself was very good. The dinner menu looks nice but we were keen to get out to find a local place to eat. Nice little place to explore for a day or two is thus Trezo Sull, can't remember the rest :) Enjoy :)

"Good location for a lovely hotel"

Sadly only stayed one night in this hotel. Sure to return. Ate in the La Cantina restaurant in house. Room was clean and pleasant with a good view over the red roofs of the town. Only problem was the air-conditioning...Too hot! The AC control is the standard Italian hotel Vimar unit..The Rubik's cube of controls.. Opened a window...And fell asleep. Early start so missed breakfast.

"Extremely pleasant hotel in characteristically charming surroundings"

Stayed here for two nights on business and it was a lovely hotel. The architecture is beautiful and the night time lighting is utterly charming. The wine selection is understandingly high quality and the evening meal was very nice. The breakfast buffet selection is simple but perfectly adequate. My room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very well appointed. The decor is befitting of somewhere describing itself as a villa and the WiFi is reliable enough that you can work without interruption if needed. The rate of $82 including breakfast was very good value considering though that may have been negotiated by the company that was hosting my visit. I would love to go back.

"Nice spot"

we spent two nights in Bergamo at the Villa Appianni. This hotel is run & maintained by wonderfully professional & charming staff. We can recommend the Cyrus Suite. Breakfast is the highlight. Lunch & Dinner are also great. The reception staff also recommended us a great Pizzeria "Daniela" a few meters away from the hotel.

"Nice stay"

Friendly and efficient reception, with clean rooms, good amenities. great breakfast. Close to shops and a few restaurants. Close to pretty views and historical sights. Enjoyed my stay. The AC was a bit tricky to work the dials to small to read.

"Lovely Quaint Hotel with Wonderful Staff"

I stayed here for one night on a business trip and I was disappointed to have to leave. My room was lovely and spacious, with a HUGE and very comfortable bed. I had a small balcony overlooking the outdoor breakfast area and a very well sized bathroom. The staff were lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I had forgotten to pack a travel adaptor and they were more than happy to lend me one without asking for a deposit or anything like that which was nice. Free WiFi and a great choice at breakfast made this a wonderful place to stay. The hotel itself is beautiful too and very oldy worldy!

"Excellent Hotel with super service and Staff"

We stayed here on the final night of our 12 day holiday in Italy. The Hotel is very well situated for Milan Bergamo airport - it's a handy 20 minute drive away. We'd booked a family room and on arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant and friendly gentleman. He was very warm and friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded and allocated a lovely big room room of a double Bed and 2 single beds. Plenty of space and very roomy indeed. Lovely toiletries and we received robes and slippers also. We had dinner in the hotel and it was superb - honestly really good and tasty food - but served by a waiter who is amazing at his job. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient - he made our evening. Can't say anything but good about this hotel. Don't know anything about the local village - but if you are travelling to or from Bergamo airport then this Hotel is a must.

"Great Stay"

Stayed for two nights, had a huge room next to the road but it was very good. The breakfast was basic but very good and the coffee was great. All the staff were very good and helpful, just a shame it rained so hard we couldn't have a look around. Would stay again.

"Adorable hotel, fantastic value"

Stayed here for 3 nights as a base to visit Milano and the Lago Iseo in June 2016. The hotel feels like an old Palazzo, both from the outside and when sitting in the inside courtyard, where breakfast is served. Also the rooms are large, with high ceilings. Check-in was quick and efficient, we had a room on the second floor (202). Air-conditioning worked very well, which at this time of the year was welcome. Beds comfortable and large, bathroom clean, small and friendly. Our room faced the front of the hotel, which in the evening meant that you could hear some of the late guests or locals – but the windows shut rather tight, so we did not feel disturbed. Of course there is the temptation to sit down yourself with a glass of wine or another drink, the sitting area is nice and on a clear night this is a wonderful end to the day. We did have diner and lunch here, and the kitchen lived up to the rest of the hotel. The risotto is fantastic, mixed salad a very generous portion, Tiramisu wonderful – all fresh and very good. Breakfast is buffet –style and served in a large, very light (open air) inner courtyard with plants on display. Large variety of choices, even little mini-quiches, fresh fruit salad and lots of other things you would not find in most hotels. The staff was very friendly when directing us how to best get to Milan (park-and-ride with the Metro M2 line, took us about an hour to get to the Milan Duomo, a cheap and time-efficient option), or for any other question. Wireless for free, apprantly there is a gym, and bikes for rent. We would stay here again without hesitation, we were extremely pleased with the hotel and really liked it. We payed €80 per night plus €20 for breakfast. Worth every penny.

"A lovely little hotel in perfect location for driving travelers"

A lovely and stylish little hotel in a perfect location for driving travelers. A short jump to Milano or Bergamo, or in fact , all of northern Italy. The stuff is friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay very much, and will(!) come again

"A very nice Villa!"

Very good value for money, Old Town location, good facilities (parking, air conditioning, good breakfast and dinner, good wine selection, wireless included, friendly staff, picturesque surroundings, good motorway connection).

"Too Quiet"

Firstly may I say that the Hotel and staff were of a very good standard. However despite this our break was not all it could be. The town itself was like a ghost town, with shop after shop closed. We could not find a restaurant or any form of nightlife. We ended up eating in the hotel which although was tasty was not what we hoped for. The only reason we realised that the town had some sort of use was the constant stream of traffic that ran in front of the hotel. Our room, although nicely decorated and designed, was underneath the either the kitchen or a serving area. This meant that all night we could hear high heels hitting the tiled floor. And it also faced onto a side street which seemed to be a short cut for motorcycles. This was supposed to be a "superior" room. We had booked for 3 nights but left after 1.

"Comfortable, great breakfast, ample parking"

Parking in Italy can be a bit of a nightmare but this hotel has ample space. A relief after a long drive from the airport! Breakfast is exceptional. Fresh pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice (no concentrate!), and excellent coffee. Good selection too. Rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are good too. Staff are very friendly. I didn't eat in the restaurant at night (booking is recommended). There are other good places to eat locally though. Only down side is that because this is right next to the bridge there is quite a bit of traffic noise if you are staying on that side of the hotel. Would stay again.

"great quality for small price"

We chose this hotel for its location (five minutes by car from Leolandia park) and for its great prices. Great choice: our room was quite comfortable, the breakfast was tasty (although the room was a little bit too little) and the staff helpful. We will surely come back in our next Leolandia visit or before leaving from Bergamo airport.

"Very charming hotel"

Nice location close to Bergamo and not far from Milano either. The villa is well decorated, the restaurant is good, serving local specialities and with good choices for wines. BUT avoid the rooms on the street side because it is going to be noisy!

"salesmeeting in Bergamo March 2016"

Reception and Service at the hotel was excellent. The rooms are comfortable the breakfast and food service also very good. The hotel staff was supportive. The meeting room for 40 people was too small, technical equipment and W-lan was free

"Bergamo memories"

This hotel is one of best near Bergamo. Backs onto river toll keeper caste ruins. 30 minutes or less to Bergamo. Hotel has great open air courtyard and serves quality food with great local wines. Rooms were quite comfortable and well appointed.

"Hotel in a Villa"

Amazing Hotel, comfortable room, Breakfast is great, La Catina restaurant is good, Staff very friendly & good. they speak good English. lots of restaurants and couple of tourist spots nearby nice stay

"Mixed ....."

A lovely building with a welcoming drive leading up to the hotel entrance (Just like the photograph). The welcome at reception was friendly and we were provided with a room on the 2nd floor. Our reservation was for a Queen executive and it stipulated a lounge area. When we arrived at the room, it was nicely furnished, adequate in size, but had no lounge area. I returned to the reception to ask about the lounge area and 'jokingly' was told "Yes, some rooms have lounge area, some don't, yours is one that doesn't" ! If I had been staying 3 or more nights, I would have pushed the issue and insisted the room provided matched what was reserved. But as this was only a one night stay I decided to leave the issue until I reviewed the property. We'd decided to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner but found it was closed. As it was a cold evening we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. This was a joy .... great food, excellent service and very reasonable prices. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and certainly suitable for the price paid (100 Euro). I probably will not return due to the insincere way they handled the room issue, but if you're in the area this is probably a good option for a few days.

"A success!!"

The best option to stay. We were before, and will come back hopefully soon.. Excellent service, the staff is so kind. We had a great time with our kids. The breakfast is very good. Highly recommended..

"Highly recommend"

Nice Building and very professional service as well the Restaurant offers a very good typical italian food a appreciable Wine list with reasonable Price Everything perfect - well done Villa Appiani Team

"Great hotel"

Great hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. 24 hour check in which was very useful. Staff spoke good English and were helpful. Beds were very comfortable and overall the hotel was very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

"Nice stay"

We had a wonderfull stay here with our friends group. Felt nice to stay here. A homely kind of ambience all over. Breakfast was also good. Well maintained and beautiful it was. Would love to stay again!

"Convenient stay close to Bergamo"

This BW Hotel is located in an old villa right at the town entrance of Trezzo coming from Capriate (over the Bridge). The Place is quite convenient and close to the old town of Trezzo. The rooms can be a little small if it is single room but they try to give more spacious rooms if available. Close to Hotel is a nice golf course (Villa Paradiso) where guests get a discount. Breakfast is according to the country standard very good. Right around the corner (200m by foot) there is a very good local restaurant (Gemma - see Restaurants in Trezzo in Tripadvisor). The hotel restaurant is not bad but quite costly compared to some local restaurants

"Brilliant Experience"

Stayed here for just one night and eat at the Hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful and we thought the hotel was perfect. A great base for the Lakes and close to Milan and Bergamo. Close to Trezzo with a giod choice if other places to eat but we didnt venture in as happy with the hotel.

"Nice hotel with good restaurant"

The rooms are spacious with a good size bathroom. Very good shower water pressure. Very clean with nice italian villa atmosphere. Good restaurant and awesome breakfast included in room rates. Good location to walk in near d Trezzo down town or down to the river.
