    « Nice spot »

we spent two nights in Bergamo at the Villa Appianni. This hotel is run & maintained by wonderfully professional & charming staff. We can recommend the Cyrus Suite. Breakfast is the highlight. Lunch & Dinner are also great. The reception staff also recommended us a great Pizzeria "Daniela" a few meters away from the hotel.

    « Nice stay »

Friendly and efficient reception, with clean rooms, good amenities. great breakfast. Close to shops and a few restaurants. Close to pretty views and historical sights. Enjoyed my stay. The AC was a bit tricky to work the dials to small to read.

« Lovely Quaint Hotel with Wonderful Staff »

I stayed here for one night on a business trip and I was disappointed to have to leave. My room was lovely and spacious, with a HUGE and very comfortable bed. I had a small balcony overlooking the outdoor breakfast area and a very well sized bathroom. The staff were lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I had forgotten to pack a travel adaptor and they were more than happy to lend me one without asking for a deposit or anything like that which was nice. Free WiFi and a great choice at breakfast made this a wonderful place to stay. The hotel itself is beautiful too and very oldy worldy!

« Excellent Hotel with super service and Staff »

We stayed here on the final night of our 12 day holiday in Italy. The Hotel is very well situated for Milan Bergamo airport - it's a handy 20 minute drive away. We'd booked a family room and on arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant and friendly gentleman. He was very warm and friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded and allocated a lovely big room room of a double Bed and 2 single beds. Plenty of space and very roomy indeed. Lovely toiletries and we received robes and slippers also. We had dinner in the hotel and it was superb - honestly really good and tasty food - but served by a waiter who is amazing at his job. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient - he made our evening. Can't say anything but good about this hotel. Don't know anything about the local village - but if you are travelling to or from Bergamo airport then this Hotel is a must.

    « Great Stay »

Stayed for two nights, had a huge room next to the road but it was very good. The breakfast was basic but very good and the coffee was great. All the staff were very good and helpful, just a shame it rained so hard we couldn't have a look around. Would stay again.

« Adorable hotel, fantastic value »

Stayed here for 3 nights as a base to visit Milano and the Lago Iseo in June 2016. The hotel feels like an old Palazzo, both from the outside and when sitting in the inside courtyard, where breakfast is served. Also the rooms are large, with high ceilings. Check-in was quick and efficient, we had a room on the second floor (202). Air-conditioning worked very well, which at this time of the year was welcome. Beds comfortable and large, bathroom clean, small and friendly. Our room faced the front of the hotel, which in the evening meant that you could hear some of the late guests or locals ? but the windows shut rather tight, so we did not feel disturbed. Of course there is the temptation to sit down yourself with a glass of wine or another drink, the sitting area is nice and on a clear night this is a wonderful end to the day. We did have diner and lunch here, and the kitchen lived up to the rest of the hotel. The risotto is fantastic, mixed salad a very generous portion, Tiramisu wonderful ? all fresh and very good. Breakfast is buffet ?style and served in a large, very light (open air) inner courtyard with plants on display. Large variety of choices, even little mini-quiches, fresh fruit salad and lots of other things you would not find in most hotels. The staff was very friendly when directing us how to best get to Milan (park-and-ride with the Metro M2 line, took us about an hour to get to the Milan Duomo, a cheap and time-efficient option), or for any other question. Wireless for free, apprantly there is a gym, and bikes for rent. We would stay here again without hesitation, we were extremely pleased with the hotel and really liked it. We payed €80 per night plus €20 for breakfast. Worth every penny.

« A lovely little hotel in perfect location for driving travelers »

A lovely and stylish little hotel in a perfect location for driving travelers. A short jump to Milano or Bergamo, or in fact , all of northern Italy. The stuff is friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay very much, and will(!) come again

    « A very nice Villa! »

Very good value for money, Old Town location, good facilities (parking, air conditioning, good breakfast and dinner, good wine selection, wireless included, friendly staff, picturesque surroundings, good motorway connection).

    « Too Quiet »

Firstly may I say that the Hotel and staff were of a very good standard. However despite this our break was not all it could be. The town itself was like a ghost town, with shop after shop closed. We could not find a restaurant or any form of nightlife. We ended up eating in the hotel which although was tasty was not what we hoped for. The only reason we realised that the town had some sort of use was the constant stream of traffic that ran in front of the hotel. Our room, although nicely decorated and designed, was underneath the either the kitchen or a serving area. This meant that all night we could hear high heels hitting the tiled floor. And it also faced onto a side street which seemed to be a short cut for motorcycles. This was supposed to be a "superior" room. We had booked for 3 nights but left after 1.

« Comfortable, great breakfast, ample parking »

Parking in Italy can be a bit of a nightmare but this hotel has ample space. A relief after a long drive from the airport! Breakfast is exceptional. Fresh pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice (no concentrate!), and excellent coffee. Good selection too. Rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are good too. Staff are very friendly. I didn't eat in the restaurant at night (booking is recommended). There are other good places to eat locally though. Only down side is that because this is right next to the bridge there is quite a bit of traffic noise if you are staying on that side of the hotel. Would stay again.

« great quality for small price »

We chose this hotel for its location (five minutes by car from Leolandia park) and for its great prices. Great choice: our room was quite comfortable, the breakfast was tasty (although the room was a little bit too little) and the staff helpful. We will surely come back in our next Leolandia visit or before leaving from Bergamo airport.

    « Very charming hotel »

Nice location close to Bergamo and not far from Milano either. The villa is well decorated, the restaurant is good, serving local specialities and with good choices for wines. BUT avoid the rooms on the street side because it is going to be noisy!

    « salesmeeting in Bergamo March 2016 »

Reception and Service at the hotel was excellent. The rooms are comfortable the breakfast and food service also very good. The hotel staff was supportive. The meeting room for 40 people was too small, technical equipment and W-lan was free

    « Bergamo memories »

This hotel is one of best near Bergamo. Backs onto river toll keeper caste ruins. 30 minutes or less to Bergamo. Hotel has great open air courtyard and serves quality food with great local wines. Rooms were quite comfortable and well appointed.

    « Hotel in a Villa »

Amazing Hotel, comfortable room, Breakfast is great, La Catina restaurant is good, Staff very friendly & good. they speak good English. lots of restaurants and couple of tourist spots nearby nice stay

    « Mixed ..... »

A lovely building with a welcoming drive leading up to the hotel entrance (Just like the photograph). The welcome at reception was friendly and we were provided with a room on the 2nd floor. Our reservation was for a Queen executive and it stipulated a lounge area. When we arrived at the room, it was nicely furnished, adequate in size, but had no lounge area. I returned to the reception to ask about the lounge area and 'jokingly' was told "Yes, some rooms have lounge area, some don't, yours is one that doesn't" ! If I had been staying 3 or more nights, I would have pushed the issue and insisted the room provided matched what was reserved. But as this was only a one night stay I decided to leave the issue until I reviewed the property. We'd decided to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner but found it was closed. As it was a cold evening we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. This was a joy .... great food, excellent service and very reasonable prices. The hotel room was clean and comfortable and certainly suitable for the price paid (100 Euro). I probably will not return due to the insincere way they handled the room issue, but if you're in the area this is probably a good option for a few days.

    « A success!! »

The best option to stay. We were before, and will come back hopefully soon.. Excellent service, the staff is so kind. We had a great time with our kids. The breakfast is very good. Highly recommended..

    « Highly recommend »

Nice Building and very professional service as well the Restaurant offers a very good typical italian food a appreciable Wine list with reasonable Price Everything perfect - well done Villa Appiani Team

    « Great hotel »

Great hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. 24 hour check in which was very useful. Staff spoke good English and were helpful. Beds were very comfortable and overall the hotel was very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

    « Nice stay »

We had a wonderfull stay here with our friends group. Felt nice to stay here. A homely kind of ambience all over. Breakfast was also good. Well maintained and beautiful it was. Would love to stay again!

« Convenient stay close to Bergamo »

This BW Hotel is located in an old villa right at the town entrance of Trezzo coming from Capriate (over the Bridge). The Place is quite convenient and close to the old town of Trezzo. The rooms can be a little small if it is single room but they try to give more spacious rooms if available. Close to Hotel is a nice golf course (Villa Paradiso) where guests get a discount. Breakfast is according to the country standard very good. Right around the corner (200m by foot) there is a very good local restaurant (Gemma - see Restaurants in Trezzo in Tripadvisor). The hotel restaurant is not bad but quite costly compared to some local restaurants

    « Brilliant Experience »

Stayed here for just one night and eat at the Hotel the staff were very friendly and helpful and we thought the hotel was perfect. A great base for the Lakes and close to Milan and Bergamo. Close to Trezzo with a giod choice if other places to eat but we didnt venture in as happy with the hotel.

« Nice hotel with good restaurant »

The rooms are spacious with a good size bathroom. Very good shower water pressure. Very clean with nice italian villa atmosphere. Good restaurant and awesome breakfast included in room rates. Good location to walk in near d Trezzo down town or down to the river.
