    « Nice place! »

We booked this motel using our air miles points, so I wasn't sure what kind of a place it was going to be. I had nothing to worry about. Upon our arrival, we pulled in to the parking lot and had the valet park our car. There aren't that many parking spots there, so if you want to enjoy the convenience of having your vehicle parked at the motel, get there fairly early, because the spots fill up fast. Our room was VERY nice! We stayed in a queen suite, which had a great view of Mt. Pleasant Ave. The bed was comfy, and the room was very spacious, with a nice flat screen t.v. The bathroom was a little small, and showed some signs of wear (ie. peeling paint etc), but the shower had good pressure, but the fixtures are a bit dated. Continental breakfast was included with our room, and was very good. We enjoyed french toast, scrambled eggs, home fries and toast. Overall I would say that this motel is a very nice place, and I would definately stay there again!

« Closest to Phil Consulate- Good Midtown Toronto hotel »

I recently stayed in this nice hotel with my mom. I picked this one because of three main reasons: 1) Closest to Philippine Consulate (as in 2 minute walk! - BEST location as it is in the corner lot) 2) Comfortable basic hotel with free wifi and breakfast 3) Price is really affordable I must say that I made the perfect choice to book here as our main agenda is to settle some papers at the Phil Consulate General office. Other PROS: - really fast and reliable wifi - bed, comforters, TV are decent - basic breakfast included - quick check-in and check-out - with valet parking (18Can$) - several restaurants and convenient stores nearby I would like to commend 'Min(?)' for checking us in early-- I drove 4 hours nonstop so we (my mom & I) needed the rest. She was also nice enough to make me some copies of a needed document(extra miles!). The valet was also awesome( forgot his name)-- he immediately gave us some breakfast coupons when I came there to ask about the nearest place to eat(we arrived lunch time). The only comment that I'd give about the hotel is the card key that needs to be checked or fixed. It's either the battery is low or maybe it has some other technical issues that needs to be addressed. It really gave my mom and I some difficulty unlocking our room several times (we stayed at 610)-- a bit of nuisance to get in and out. Overall, I'd recommend this place, especially to people with agenda similar to mine. I'll definitely return and stay here again for another business reason soon.

« Best Western Ellington and Mount Pleasant Toronto »

Hotel was good value for Toronto. Location is Mid town. Room was large room. The bed was good, The room was quiet, clean, well maintained. Hotel staff was nice. Breakfast was included and was surprisingly good. Parking is lacking but hotel handles it well valet service included. Only negative was the bathroom which was small and dated but in good condition.

« Hotel OK, location not great »

We stayed here for one night. Our bedroom had a huge window which was nice by day but hard to cover at night--I had to use a safety pin to hold the curtains together. The bed was comfortable but in common with many hotels, there was a heavy comforter on the bed in the summer--too warm. The bathtub/shower had a rubber mat, which is a great safety feature, but no grab bar. The neighborhood was all residential near the hotel--I had to walk several blocks to Yonge St. to do some shopping.

    « A quiet place »

The staff was friendly, rooms were clean. However the rooms are out dated. The beds where very comfortable. I haven't seen this phone since the 90's. Shower curtain rod was about to fall out of the wall. The biggest issue I have is paying 18.00 to watch someone put my car into a parking lot 10ft away, I think if they added free parking it would go along way. I would stay again, but it would be nice to see some changes

« Value handy hotel for Toronto »

This is in Mount Pleasant Village, a delightful suburb of Toronto with lots of restaurants and bars a short walk away, which is just as well because apart from the usual breakfast, it has no bar or other food. Rooms are clean but basic and could do with a revamp but it is very reasonable tariff by Toronto standards so cannot complain too loudly and the staff are really helpful.

    « Excellent business hotel »

This is an excellent business hotel. The rooms are lovely and clean. Service was excellent. I enjoyed the separate living room area from the bedroom, it felt more like a home than a hotel. Booking my next business stay there.

    « Terrible »

The room is not too bad, but the temperature in the is terrible, the AC has been on for hours at 10 degrees celcius and it still at least 27 degrees in the room. I have 4 colleagues in the same hotel and they are experiencing the same thing. In a bad neighbourhood!

    « thin walls - comfortable bed »

nice bed, nice staff - food poor, appearance low but comfortable - overpriced for experience - thin walls, you really hear everything next door - nice neighborhood with restaurant choices nearby cleaning staff very nice

    « Toronto »

Location and overall facilities are very good value. Bathrooms are terribly small and unaccomodating. Fixtures are old and in need of refurbishment., e.g. paint peeling on door to bathroom. In adequate space in toilet facility. Door to room did not have a self closing mechanism and required a hard slam to ensure it was secure. Odd waist high room divider in the room took up needed space but did not provide any function.

    « Ok »

Older building. Very clean. Lots of construction outside the building and absolutely no parking around. It's hard to get in the parking lot. Valet parking was pretty efficient, but once your parked in the lot, your expected to stay in the lot. The room was a basic room. Everything was fine. Breakfast was good, and the staff are all friendly. Price was a little much for what you get. But there aren't any other hotels in the area so I guess they charge what they want.

    « Dated »

I stayed here for a couple of nights as I was helping my sister move. Hotel is crazy dated, crappy carpet, bad windows (although they open:)), sink doesn't drain in the bathroom, bathroom is postage stamp size. Beds were comfortable and the shower was good but the room looks to be original with that typical Best Western carpet that looks like it hasn't had a recent wash. I think they spent $ to renovate the lobby but haven't moved past the front door with their renos. No place to park so you have to pay for valet. Great location though. Oh and you can't regulate your own room temp as the controls are fixed. Breakfast wasn't bad and the front desk staff really didn't care about what issues you might have. All in all location is well, staff indifferent and the rooms not up to my standards.

    « Old-fashioned but... »

We stayed at Best Western Roehampton for 6 nights in total. It is truly old-fashioned (rooms' decoration, breakfast room, oh my god!) and breakfst is really not at a high standard (every single day, the same food, full of fat even, you can't have a "normal" yogurt without sugar nor fruits, american toasts every day, never any pancakes...), bathrooms are really tiny and the door opens on the wrong side which is really not convenient but... the beds are comfortable (we experienced 2 bedrooms and it was the same in both), there is a small outside pool (I went there 3 times and met absolutely no-one), after a while reception staff is smiling, the concierges are ready to help and take care of car rentals at a decent price so, in the end, it is far from an amazing experience but not dreadful either....

« Good location. Reasonable price »

Very convenient location. Subway to downtown Toronto right around the corner. My 2nd stay at this hotel. Price is reasonable compared to downtown hotels. Nice breakfast and nice folks work there. Clean rooms.

    « Scammers »

Booked a room that accommodates 4 people. Got there and they said two of the people are an extra $25 a night!!! I showed them when booking the website says accommodates four and offers NO section to input the quantity of people! I showed the front desk and the rude staff played dumb. Lets not forget the $23 a night to park there. While you have to wait 20 minutes each time you want your car.

« Hotel that should NOT be considered at all for your trip »

Upon arriving to the hotel, the front desk was able to get us in our room early while check in is a ridiculous 3pm. Along with an extremely late check-in, I was than told since their parking lot is small, I have to pay for parking in their lot which was $23 a day which was not mentioned to me until I arrived to the hotel. They claimed it was not their responsibility to tell me about it while booking. In addition, my room had two full queen size beds, their would be three of us staying in the room. The hotel wanted to charge us extra since we had three people and the room "only accommodates 2". When we attempted to book a hotel right in front of them, the exact type of room we selected said up to four people with the same price! You can't make that up! The staff, although friendly aren't very helpful either along with a snobby manager and were misgiving directions/info multiple times to local spots. Save your money and find another hotel. Also their has been construction around the building for some time (roads, walk way)along with dividers and the sidewalk closed off. Of course the hotel won't give customers a warning of the dust or derby your car will be covered from the constant construction only a few feet from the parking lot. I also recommend parking your own car at the valet. Not only do they not take care of your car like it was their own, they leave garbage show no respect for others values. Not sure where some of these positive reviews are coming from but I'll never stay here again. Rooms were outdated for sure and many parts of the hotel need to be maintenance. Seems like their is no maintenance guy. Very bad experience and probably won't be staying here next time around in Toronto. To sum it up: Pros: Location, friendly Cons: Price, Valet parking lot, small lot, additional charges to get money from customers, staff unaware of attractions/locations, construction, Valet attendants, paying for parking, outdated

« Excellent location and price for Toronto »

Stay at the Best Western Roehampton and walk two blocks to take the subway downtown. It is located in a quieter neighbourhood, the service is excellent, the breakfast included will set you up for a busy day, and the prices are much better than downtown.

« excellent value hotel in Toronto »

The Best Western Roehampton is mid town, about a 10 minute walk and a 15 minute subway ride from doentown's Union rail station. The price difference compared to most downtown hotels makes this short commute well worth. the rooms are large and the full complimentary breakfast is great. Highly recommended.

    « Very Comfortable Stay! »

Stayed here for two nights to be close to friends who live in the area. The subway was a 10 minute walk, and we were abe to avoid the Eglinton construction by using Roehampton, which is much quieter. Our room was large, and well-appointed. Air conditioning worked well- a plus with the hot, humid weather. Breakfast was a real bonus- a full buffet with hot items, and a variety of fruit, bread, and pastries. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay!

    « Toronto visit »

The staff at this hotel from receptionists, valet parking, servers in the restaurant were likely the friendliest and most helpful we have experienced. Good restaurants easy walking distance from the hotel.

    « Meh.... »

Great location and that's about it Very dated property (furnishings, fixtures, décor, etc.) that is still a smoking property - although two floors are designated as smoking, the odor is throughout the building. If you are still going to allow smoking (which is very rare!) at least invest into a filtration or upgraded HVAC system. Would not recommend unless a major renovation occurred - there are plenty of options near the downtown core or north of the 401 with comparable values.

    « Always Stay here »

We have made numerous medical trips to Toronto in the past year and stayed here at the recommendation of a friend. The staff is great, very helpful and supportive of our needs. We have made several new friends and look forward to catching up with them on every visit.

« Toronto from the perspective of those who live there »

located in Toronto neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant Village, offers leafy sidewalks and a good pub nearby. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms comfortable but overlook rather dingy construction site. I got to know parts of Toronto that i had never seen before.

« Midtown Toronto Summer Stay »

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the midtown Roehampton Hotel. Even though there was construction going on around the hotel in busy Toronto, the hotel itself was pretty quiet and comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating to make our visit a very nice experience. The hotel is well located and close to downtown. There are good restaurants in the area within walking distance.

    « Great location in mid-town »

We have stayed at the Roehampton on several previous occasions and have always been pleased. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the included hot and cold buffet breakfast is a nice bonus. Our rooms could have used some updated decor, but was still perfectly fine.

« More than we needed »

We got a large room, with a desk and work area and another small nook with a fridge. The beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and the free breakfast was decent. On the negative side, the rooms did not seem very soundproof and we heard other guests late in the evening and early morning. Also, we would have booked a smaller room for less money if we could have found one nearby. More than $200 with tax per night, perhaps not a lot for Toronto, but we paid for more than we needed. This hotel is not right downtown, but the subway is only a few blocks away so it's easy to get around.

« Staff to darn nice »

Hotel little dated, but still was a nice stay. Staff really made the week, They were so nice, very friendly, helpful with restaurant info in the area. The breakfast was good, once again the staff there really made you feel welcome.

« Best place to stay in town! »

We were at the Best Western RoeHampton Hotel for two days to visit Toronto and to go to Blue Jays baseball game.We arrived early in the morning so they place our luggage in a storage room. When we check-in the staff was awsome! The room was perfect for us. Breakfast was good and the service was excellent!Everyone's working there smiled and were so kind! When we left, they proposed us transportation to go to the airport for 55$. It was worth it!Even if you're stuck in the traffic, you will pay the same thing. And they can take you to the airport and bring you to the hotel for the same price. We didn't know that so next time we're gonna ask when we book the hotel. Thanks to everyone who worked there. We had some good times there in Toronto and you helped that a lot! We're gonna come back for sure at your hotel!

    « A thoroughly pleasant experience »

I was travelling with my wife and two teenage daughters and we were allocated a suite on the fifth floor. The room was clean and roomy with comfortable beds and an efficient shower and bathroom. The best aspect of our stay though was the wonderful breakfast buffet that was tasty, plentiful and filled-us up for the day. Finally, a word for the staff - who were all incredibly helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended.

« You would not be dissapointed. »

This is a very good hotel away from downtown Toronto. This hotel is located about ten minutes from downtown Toronto, however, it is about three blocks away from Young Street, which is the most happening street in Toronto. There are many conveniences close by, like restaurants , cinemas, supermarkets and train transportation. The rooms of this hotel are nicely decorated and spacious, the staff is very courteous and helpful. The Hotel have a nice gym and swimming pool and you could also use its machines to wash and dry your clothes.

    « Roehampton Hotel & Suites »

our stay was pleasant, staff was pleasant, rooms were comfortable, beds were comfortable, breakfast was tasteful and a great way to start the day, rooms were clean and just a great experience all around

    « good stay! »

Just spent three nights at this hotel. It was a great home-base for our trip, where we were mostly site-seeing in downtown Toronto. Getting to the subway at Yonge & Eglinton is a easy walk and took us everywhere we wanted to go (Rogers Centre, ferry terminal for Toronto Island, Dundas, etc.). There's also a nice neighborhood around the hotel with a options for dinner (a brewery right across the street!) and everything is open a lot later than I expected. The rooms themselves were fine, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a good start to the day, though it is a little funny how they treat their standard BW fare like an actual restaurant. Nice to have the service, though! We ended up leaving our car parked for the duration of our trip, the lot is a bit like a Tetris board at the end of the day and in the morning, so it might take a few minutes for them to finagle your vehicle out from wherever it is parked but they do it efficiently and it's definitely worth the price, seeing as you don't have to find parking downtown each day. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a good spot not directly in downtown Toronto, especially in an area that's not touristy. It's a good stay!

« The only hotel in the neighborhood. »

I know this neighborhood well and also know that there are no other hotels in as convenient location. I suppose management knows this as well and has little incentive to spend the money required to updating the rooms. My room is large, comfortable and clean, but the décor hasn't changed since the hotel was built in the 60's. I will stay here again because the location can't be beaten.

« Clean hotel and friendly staff »

We were visiting from Houston, TX. We arrived late with no reservation, all hotel sold out due to caribbean festival in toronto. I was with my 2 kids and wife and not familiar with the city. Manager was very kind to offer last hotel with regular price.I got very clean hotel with excellent price. Instead of one day I end up staying 2 days.

« Great service but average rooms »

Great customer service experience, front desk staff checked us in quickly and efficient. The rooms are dated and in need of renovation. Otherwise very clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was included which as a good value.

« The only hotel in this neighbourhood »

We needed a place to stay in this neighbourhood while attending a wedding and this was really the only choice. The room was fine, the breakfast buffet copious and served on real dishes with real cutlery in a restaurant setting. Parking space is limited and so is managed by a valet. Service was always prompt and we never had to wait to get the car.

« Comfortable but not clean »

We stayed here at the last minute. We got a smoking room, as that was all that was available - they did give us a discount. The room was quite dated. It had an arm chair with ottoman, both of which were quite stained. The carpet also had a large stain, and was lifting in areas. We were glad to get the room, but would not stay here if we had another option.

    « Accommodating Hotel Staff »

I had made an on-line booking through expedia. I did not know what type of room I was getting until after I had paid for the room. Expedia put me in a smoking room with 1 bed. I needed a non-smoking, suite. The hotel staff were able to accommodate and provide us with a good room upon check-in, which Expedia had failed to do.

    « Great 3 days »

We had a great stay at this affordable and clean hotel very convenient to all the easy to ride transit transportation in this big city! The staff was extra cordial and helpful, the breakfasts delicious and filling! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    « Great deal! »

The hotel is very close to the subway and to a mall and shops. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Internet works good on it. There is a paid parking lot, but if you have the chance, do not come by car, as you can do everything using public transportation. The buffet breakfast is very good, with a large choice of cereals, fruits, eggs and juices. Both the restaurant and the front-desk representatives are extremely polite and helpful.

    « Comfortable and clean »

Room was comfortable and clean. Older property but rooms appeared to have been recently renovated. Staff were friendly and courteous. Complimentary breakfast buffet was good but it would have been nice if there was a restaurant on-site.

    « Great room & location »

On the whole, I'm very satisfied with this hotel. Check in was fast and friendly, room was spacious enough with a very comfortable bed, decent bathroom, TV and couch. Also, the climate control was far less noisy than in other hotels I've stayed in. Location excellent and the buffet breakfast was solid standard Best Western fare - including one meat option every morning along with potato, egg, bread, fruit etc... it can keep you going all day. A great base for a stay in Toronto. I'd have given 5 stars but for 2 minor incidents; first of all, the habit the breakfast staff had of leaving banknote tips on breakfast tables after having had many opportunities to pick them up. They did this a few times. I once ate breakfast next to $20 on a table next to me. I don't need to be reminded to tip at breakfast! Very minor point, admittedly. A bit more annoying was that I got woken up one morning at 8am by room service (had been out the night before) and ended up having to repeatedly shout "no thankyou!" as they tried to open the door. Fortunately, I had the mechanical door lock on too, but still - not the best way to start a morning. If you've got a night to sleep off, make sure you put the "do not disturb" on the door before you go to bed I suppose. Minor gripes, to be honest. All in all, it's a good hotel and worth the money.

    « Needs new mattresses »

I've been satisfied with Best Western Hotels in the past, and this one is well located for me, but the mattresses on the beds were saggy, and the one on the fold-out sofa was one of the worst ever. The dining room was overly air-conditioned, making for an unpleasant breakfast. I won't be going back soon.

    « 'Stay-cation' »

We REALLY enjoyed our 'stay-cation' @ this hotel - which is conveniently located - the subway is just a few shorts blocks - east. This was our 3rd visit - we've retuned here each time, for the cleanliness, friendliness of the hotel staff & the breakfasts. The beds were out - of - this - world & made it so difficult to get up - in the morning for the breakfast buffet.

    « Worked for us! »

We picked this hotel for 3 nights in Toronto coming in from the UK. It's not too tricky to find although it is a bit out of town - we only had the address and a sightseeing map and drove from the airport straight through Toronto and out the other side without a problem. Parking is a doddle, maybe it seems expensive but this is super easy city parking so happy to pay the rate. Rooms are spacious enough, maybe a little dated but clean and very comfortable beds - essential after a long flight. Nice touch of an upscale coffee machine and supplies in the room which we made good use of each morning. Good clean bathroom with excellent shower over the tub. We liked the recycling bin in the room - more hotels should do this. It's about a 10 minute walk to the nearest Subway Station but there is a bus stop on the nearby intersection which will take you there - both of which are covered on a day pass which you can purchase at Macs convenience store on the corner - bargain! The breakfast is very good for included in the room rate here - all buffet but they change it around each day so you are not going to get bored. There is no bar or restaurant in the evening though, and this seems to be common in Ontario at least, we believe this is to do with the strict licensing laws. So if you want a drink in your room you will have to stop at the LCBO or make use of your duty free! There are plenty of places to eat out locally however. Only real downside was that during a week when temperatures hit 33 degrees C, the pool was not open all the time we were there, which would have been nice after a day of full-on sightseeing.

« Decent Midtown Toronto Hotel »

Hotel is in a good location, about a 10-15 minute walk to the Yonge Eglinton Centre and only a 5 minute drive to Sunnybrook Hospital. I have stayed in this hotel many times in the past 3 years since I've had to travel to Toronto for medical appointments. The hotel has valet parking which cost $18. Thinking back to all of my stays at this hotel I think I've come across 1 or 2 valets who were actually personable. Hotel lobby is comfortable and front desk staff are most helpful. I have previously enjoyed the outdoor pool while staying at this hotel although, I didn't get the chance to do so this time because of cool, strong winds and thunderstorms. The room is a good size and very tidy. Television and free WiFi functioned properly. The beds are very comfortable, I've never had any issues with comfort while staying here. The Keurig coffee maker in the room is a nice touch. I like the convenience of having a mini fridge in the room. The morning breakfast offers plenty of variety such as french toast, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, etc. The service in the dining area is amazing. Tip: Keep in mind that some floors are smoking and non-smoking. If the hotel is almost fully booked and the only remaining rooms are smoking, remember to tell staff to keep windows open and spray the room with air freshener. I was once limited to staying in a smoking room and front desk staff made certain that the smell in the room was as faint as possible. Most recent stay: June 6th 2016

« Courteous staff, excellent service. »

My husband and I were attending a wedding for good friends and stayed at this hotel for two nights. The staff were SO courteous, kind and very helpful. From the moment we arrived our bags were brought to our room, and the car was parked for us. They even went as far as bringing up extra keurig coffee cups only five minutes after we entered our suite because I had jokingly written "I really like coffee" under special requests when booking. I would DEFINITELY recommend this hotel, and will be staying there again if ever I am in the area.

    « Very Nice....but.... »

The Good...Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds. Great Breakfast. Good location. Enjoyed the experience!!! The Bad...No self parking, valet only so add $20 bucks plus tip to your rate per night if you are driving. So your "free buffet breakfast" is actually costing this $20 in my opinion.

« Friendly, helpful staff and incredibly clean »

My family just spent the past five days at the Roehampton Hotel. All areas of the hotel are very clean. All hotel associates were helpful and friendly from the front desk, housekeeping and food servers at breakfast. Special shout out to Jade who was very attentive and kept our coffee cups full! The pool was just delightful. There is an adequate exercise room according to my family members. It is in a safe location and had no qualms about walking around the area. This location was perfect for us because we could walk a short 15 minutes to our relative's home. We will be staying here the next time we travel to Toronto.

    « sid roehampton »

very nice property, lobby is welcoming. received a smoking room which was very well aired out. room décor a bit dated, but all functioning, Internet was very fast. would definitely return as the location is convenient. good value for the price.

« Clean and decent location »

I didnt spend a lot of time in the room, but it was clean, and spacious. Decor was a little older but not a problem for myself. Hotel has valet parking which is a nice feature however, the valets were not very personable. The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. I had to check in a bit early, my room was not ready but they provided a room under their supervision to hold my luggage while I was in a meeting. I had a king bed on the 4th floor it was comfortable. The breakfast was normal, nothing too special except for the French toast which was a nice addition. I would stay again for business only, not leisure.

« Decent hotel in midtown... »

The hotel has a large room, clean with a nice bed and smallish bathroom, but serviceable. The hotel staff was first rate, very friendly and helpful. Very good WIFI signal in the room and there was no additional charge for it. The room has a small refrigerator which was empty but working okay. No mini bar in the room. No bar in the hotel at all. No safe in the rooms either, but there was a nice Keurig coffee maker. Good breakfast buffet in the restaurant, but lunch and dinner not served. All in all a very decent business type hotel with good WIFI and TV in the rooms, but you have to go out and about for drinks or dinner.

« Not Much Has Changed »

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years because of its location to family. Heating/ventilation is always an issue. Impossible to get the rooms cooled to a comfortable temperature. In May not much of a problem but it can be killer hot in the summer. Check in staff are always friendly and helpful. The bell service was lacking on our last visit. Left to struggle with a large families luggage on our own. The breakfast provided with the room is good. The rooms are clean. If you have kids, check on the state of the pool before you book as the it never seems to be open.

Great value in the heart of midtown Toronto! large room with very comfortable bed. will be back for sure. Staff are very friendly, parking available and free wifi and breakfast is surprisingly good. A big buffet

    « Bad Staff »

I stay in hotels 20 -26 week a year and this one by far had the worst reception staff that I have come across so far. all I wanted was to extend my stay and to have one bill and one charge on my credit card. They made a mess of it and it was the attitude that caused me to be so upset.

    « Great stay! »

Staff were very friendly and informative. Was not expecting valet parking so it was a nice surprise! After my long business day I felt relaxed and well rested in the morning. Very important with the nature of the work I do.

« Great service, tired interior »

This hotel was just a 10 min walk to busy Yonge and Islinton. Staff were friendly and very helpful and check in was speedy. Room was beautiful ( had corner suite ) with fridge, and coffee maker and all was clean but dated. Free hot breakfast buffet was a bonus. No complaints.

    « Friendly, helpful staff »

Pleasant hotel close to people we were visiting. All the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was good and restaurant staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable. Neighbours were noisy but the desk staff requested that they be quiet.

« Excellent Option for Overnight Stay »

I stayed here last night while in Toronto on Business. The lobby was very tastefully decorated and I was greeted by friendly and efficient front desk staff. THe Concierge/Valet service was very helpful. I stayed on 7th floor and found my room exceptionally clean. The bed, linens and pillows were more than comfortable. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean hotel with great service, in Toronto. Generally, I prefer a hotel with room service, but since I was only staying one night it wasnt a big deal. There are many restaurant options within steps of the hotel. They offer a dining room setting hot breakfast, which was really quite good! Good Job to all Staff! I would stay there again.

    « Always a great stay »

I stay at this hotel regularly while visiting my son at Glendon College, a 5 minute drive from the hotel. I would highly recommend it. . Parking is reasonably priced for the location. All the staff are always awesome. It is nice and quiet, comfortable and clean.

    « Pleasurable Experience »

We only stayed one night but overall it was a pleasant stay. The concierge who parked the vehicle and assisted us with luggage was efficient and friendly. The lady who checked us in was not as friendly. The room was spotless and ample in size for one night. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection, catering to all tastes and the lady who served was a real asset to the establishment, efficient and friendly.

« Fantastic place to stay. Stay here. »

Myself and my wife really enjoyed our stay. From the outside it is an older hotel in need up a sprucing up but once you go inside it is really nice. Fantastic staff. Great restaurant and the best breakfast of any BW I have stayed at in Canada. . Very attentive employees. Super comfy bed and room, although a bit older was great. I am a platinum BW member and stay all ALLOT of BW hotels and this is now a favorite. Great job guys!

« great spot to stay in north toronto »

Our charity often books rooms at the Best Western for our board members. It's a great hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and never any problems. The breakfast option is perfect for us and there are lots of nearby restaurants for other meals if necessary. Transit access is also great at this location.

    « Great hotel »

Best Western Roehampton is an excellent place to stay when visiting Toronto. They have valet parking, and good access to public transit. There is a wonderful breakfast (included) to start the day, and a warm cosy bed at the end of the day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Try this place!!

    « Just a place to sleep »

Bed was very comfortable. Get a room without adjoining doors if you want to ensure a good sleep. Staff are great. Breakfast was great. If you just need a place to sleep, this is a good option if it's close to where you need to be

« Excellent location in Mid-Town...but needs a few bandages. »

Location is excellent. You cannot do better in Midtown. Tourists can access anywhere from this location on subway. PARKING is lacking and expensive. Opt out of onside parking. Drive around the residential neighbourhood just north of the hotel. Free overnight street parking, just obey the signs and you are good. Area is safe and very walkable. Main entrance needs a little TLC as the hotel is showing its age, but lobby is nice and desk staff are very helpful. Room was huge (Suite) but needed updating. FREE BREAKFAST included. I'd stay here again.

    « 2 week stay »

Stayed here for work, (jobsite about a block away), place was very accomadating to us. Parking is very tight, and I believe valet parking is mandatory ($18 per night). Front desk staff was friendly and helpful guiding us to spots to eat/drink etc. Full buffet breakfast 7 days a week.

« Do not reserve through a 3rd party travel company »

If you use a 3rd party travel on-line travel company such as Expedia or this hotel will not provide you full access to non-smoking rooms or other special needs. They blame the 3rd party agency for failing to confirm it. I was able to get them to move me to a non-smoking room which I did reserve with Expedia. This is why I am providing them 3 stars. They did take care of it. But, it was 20 minutes of hand wringing and saying they had nothing else available until they did. The room was fine for its age, but it was extremely cold in the room and it never heated up to proper temp. I am assuming it was not heated because it was rarely rented.

    « warm and welcoming »

Staff was superb, from housekeeping to management; from the minute you walked in the door! They were very accommodating and they listened to guests's needs. Great to have breakfast included! Thanks especially to Min at the front desk!

    « Badly needs updating »

People and service are fine but the hotel is quite dated and made me very uncomfortable. Even though everything was clean, the room smelled and everything about room, except TV, appears 30 years old...even the door entry. They try hard here with really good service but product is really well below average for the rate you pay. I would have guessed room rates would be $80, not $160.

    « Location, location »

The closest hotel to Sunnybrook. That's why I picked for 2 separate overnight stays. Staff were efficient. Rooms were both fine. Internet and TV worked. Breakfast was good. Short walk to Yonge and lots of Pub/Restaurant choice. Only minor gripe was that in the online description, the parking situation is not described well. There is a small lot with valet parking only, with an associated additional charge $18 as I recall. As far as getting there from the south, I'd advise taking the DVP up to the Bayview exit. Up Bayview and cut across to Mount Pleasant and up. Avoid Eglinton, it's a disaster with the ongoing subway construction. If going to Sunnybrook and up for a 10 minute walk to avoid parking there, there is free parking on Blythwood.

« There was no best about this experience »

Granted I booked late but there was absolutely nothing about this visit that met expectations on this stay. It started with the saccharine booking process where the online check in didn't even recognize Toronto as a city and kept trying to book me into "Eglinton" (the intersection of the hotel I wanted to stay in). I asked about parking and was told there was onsite valet parking as it was below -27 degrees. Of course I get to the hotel, there is a giant line up and no valet parking - in fact no parking. No instructions or address on how to get to the Green P Public Parking either. After hauling my luggage (the valet did not offer to keep the luggage there while I dropped off my car) back to the hotel I got two grumpy clerks. Then a room that smelled like a used ash tray served up extra cold. Despite turning on the heat the room didn't warm up until 4:15 a.m. No extra blankets in the closet. The alarm clock did not work and the ipod charger is from 100 years ago so it didn't work either. The only good part was how fast I was able to check out on the express.

    « over night stay »

we needed a hotle that was close to the hospital we had an appointment at and this hotel fit all our needs. if other appointments are needed we will be again stay at this hotel. it was easy to reach by car from our home .

« Good value, great location »

I was very concerned when my cab pulled into this place... But was surprised when I got inside. staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was great. room had a weird shape... But that's my worst criticism of this place

THIS PLACE LOADED WITH GOOD THINGS TO MAKE MY EXPERIENCE REALLY COMFORTABLE . the entire employees team will go out of their way to help you. Right staring with Thomas (valet parking guy)...Min and Jenny @ the reception,Naga & Ratna in maintainance/housekeeping and The Manager on duty Mr. Saif Rehman. Hudos to the owner of this hotel for building a team of happy employees who are ready to go above and beyond their call of duty.I was travelling with a baby and I requested a microwave for my room. Within 15 minutes of my checking in a microwave was placed in my room without any extra charge. This itself was sufficient to please me as we have to prepare his feed few times during the day. I am forgetting other employees names who are the unsung hero's working their. The breakfast was simple yet warm, fresh and delicious.Restaurant has nice ambiance and street view. I would strongly recommend this place for staying for both business and personal and family trips. Hip Hip HURRAY.......KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

    « Dissapointing »

Other than friendly staff in the lobby (including valet services), this BW has terrible internet service. The walls were also not sound proof enough and I could tell by being able to hear a couple having sloppy sex (that didn't last long, thank goodness), but it was audible enough to wake me up from a deep sleep. The lighting in the room was very gloomy be really honest, exactly how it is in movies where people check into sketchy hotels/motels.

« Worst hotel I have ever stayed at »

This hotel is severely outdated. The decor looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1990s. After being awoken to noisy neighbours that we could hear through the adjoining doors, staff finally switched us rooms after I called the front desk three times. When we checked out, there was no recognition of the inconvenience or apology given. I have stayed at many Best Westerns and this one was by far not only the worst of the brand, but the worst hotel stay I have ever stayed at.

    « Great stay »

We just stayed one night with our two young children. The room was great - we appreciated having the beds on one side of a, err, low wall (?? not sure how else to describe it) and the couch and desk on the other side. The breakfast was pretty good, the staff at the breakfast put it over the top (they were very attentive, very willing to help us, get us items for our children). We would most certainly go back to this hotel if we needed to stay in the area again.

    « Needing Updating »

stayed here on recent trip to Toronto, the hotel is situated in uptown Toronto it is an older hotel in much need of updating, in saying that the rooms were of good size and clean. the walls need a bite of sound proofing . the hotel offers a good buffet breakfast included in the price of room. rooms are reasonably price, though it is a bite far from downtown Toronto , found the service to be excellent

    « good location »

Reception is good and helpful. Room was good and comfortable, neat and clean. Nearby you will find a lot of eating places both Indian and non Indian. Outside foods are quite cheap. Average for about 10 dollars you can have your meal. Transportation both by cab and metro is easy.

    « Toronto visit »

The hotel was fairly clean and mostly comfortable . There was no comfortable sitting area or common space to meet , relax and have colleagues over for informal get together. The food was very average even though it was included in the room rate. Overall it is dated and can use an update in the rooms and lobby area.

« Why Can A Hotel Room Not Be Heated To The Satisfaction Of Its Tenants? »

When we arrived at The Roehampton, the staff members who checked us in phoned soon after we arrived in our room. We had unpacked and were getting ready for a dinner meeting that night. I reported how cool the room was and that there was one blanket and we needed more heat and more blankets. While we were at our meeting one more blanket was brought to the room and a space heater was placed on the desk and left turned on. When I returned and moved the space heater on the desk, I got an electrical shock/jolt. I reported that and was told that there was nothing more that could be done...the hotel has no three-pronged/grounded plug space heaters. We left the following morning and stayed elsewhere for the rest of the weekend. Each hotel room should have heating and cooling options so that tenants do not have uniform room heat. 'Take it or Leave it' is the attitude of this hotel. We left it.

    « Great Value »

In Toronto on business and hadn't stayed here in years. I arrived early, just wanting to park my car before heading off to a meeting and was pleasantly surprised to be checked in early (1:00 pm). The rooms are clean and pleasant and the staff is wonderful. Free wifi and breakfast and parking is very reasonable. I'll be coming back.

« The Roe is the Place to Go »

Super friendly staff, breakfast servers are amazing, coffee never got past half. Check in and Out staff are always super friendly, Valet staff are courteous and fast. A+ The Roehampton is our go to hotel, not to mention it's just around the corner from the best bbq chicken restaurant in Toronto. Charassco.

« Hotel a bit dated but with great staff »

This hotel is situated out of the Toronto city centre but has a good number of restaurants in walking distance from hotel. As the hotel serves only breakfast is necessary to go out for other meals. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to nearest metro station and another 15 minutes on the metro to reach downtown. The price here is a bit more reasonable than similar hotels downtown but not cheap. Room price includes breakfast. The breakfast is decent with eggs, potatoes, sausages, French toast, cereals, fruit, juice, bread, coffee etc. Staff both at reception and in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Room is quite big with fridge and coffee/tea maker

« Nice hotel in good location »

We stayed here for one night this past weekend. It was in a good location at Mt. Pleasant and Eglinton. It is walking distance to the Eglinton subway station (about 10mins). The hotel was very nice and clean though a bit dated. There is free wifi and a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning until 11am. The breakfast was nice -- they offered scrambled eggs, homefries, breakfast sausages, french toast, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit, milk and juice. We were pleasantly surprised. I was disappointed that they didn't offer waffles though. We had a king smoking room on the 7th floor. The room was spacious and clean. There was ample hot water to take a shower in the morning. If I needed to stay in this area again to attend another event I would definitely stay here again. The only thing that was inconvenient for us the lack of free parking. They do have a very limited amount of free parking which was full and it was $18 to pay for parking otherwise.

    « Great Value »

I was very impressed with the room. It was very spacious and the breakfast was also good. Facilities were very clean and staff was helpful. Would highly recommend! My only complaint would be that it was hard to sleep as you could easily hear others around you.

« Best Western Roehampton Hotel & Suites »

I stayed here one night for a quick startup job in Toronto. Check in was also quick with a helpful lady. The hotel has seen better days but the room was nice and clean, good enough for a working man like me.

    « New Years Wedding »

The hotel was easy to find, we were greeted in the parking lot by a concierge who was very helpful. Check in was quick and easy. We changed had a drink and it was off to a New Years wedding. Although we didn't spend a lot time at the facility we found the staff friendly and helpful and the room clean and comfortable. The following morning check out was easy, the concierge brought the car around and we were off. Great experience.

    « Great value »

We stayed here for one night over the holidays. Location is terrific in terms of local transportation, staff was very helpful and friendly. Price was very reasonable. Excellent beds. Would definitely stay here again.

    « Quiet and clean »

I Wasn't asking for much but the room was simple and clean and the bed was comfortable. I was satisfied. Slightly dated. But whatever we aren't picky.....blah blah blah 200 characters. Is this enough yet. Should I write a book?

« Service went above and beyond »

I would highly recommend this hotel! We stayed for 2 nights and upon arrival we were quickly checked in to our room. Room was nice and spacious, we had a queen bed room with a pull out couch. Bed was comfortable with excellent pillows and warm duvet. Room temperature was a bit warm and couldn't figure out the controls so cracked the window and it was fine. Breakfast the next morning was complimentary and fantastic. Good selection of hot and cold food, staff was very friendly and accommodating, quickly asked if we wanted coffee or tea or juice and also provided water. A friend who only stayed the second night in her own room was able to check in early so she could get ready in her own room instead of mine. We had a wonderful experience with this hotel and would most definitely stay here again.

« Lovely room, mix up with online reservation system »

Be careful when you book online. The online reservation system does NOT always give you the room you booked. I didn't check carefully enough and was surprised to find that my reservation was for a smoking room. Since I am allergic to smoke, I would NEVER have booked that for myself. Apparently the online system gives you what the hotel has available. Luckily for me they had a non smoking room which I was very happy with. It was large and extremely comfortable. It was just around the corner from a fantastic Portugese restaurant.

« Trip to visit granddaughter & parents »

We stay at Best Westerns when ever we can, This was the only hotel close to our family, we were visiting, however we were pleased with overall experience. Older building, clean, good service. We had a king size bed so were very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good.

« First Stay of Many! »

Stayed at this hotel for the first time while visiting Toronto. Excellent service, very efficient and friendly. Great quality for the price. My wife and I would not hesitate staying there again or recommend this location to others

    « Dated but fine »

I stayed here one night for work. The hotel is certainly showing some wear, but it's not really bad. The hallways are worse than the rooms. My room was clean and relatively quiet. Standard amenities. Walking distance to my meeting on corner of Yonge and Eglinton. Plenty of restaurants nearby. It was only ok.

« Just okay for one night business stay »

The hotel is very tired and needs updating. Parking and entry to the hotel is very confusing. It was close to my meeting area but I wouldn't stay here again. The bathroom was especially tired. The front desk was friendly enough and the valet as well but nothing exceptional.

    « Very disappointed »

I stayed here with my daughter and husband for a night a few weeks ago. I used my Best Western Reward points for the room , they charged my credit card instead of using the points, which I confirmed with them in check in. We had a suite on the 6th floor, very dated , bed not made up well, bath room was so tiny I could hardly bathe my daughter . I work at a Best Western and I would never stay here again , it was a waste of my points .....

« No water no internet »

Got to the hotel. There was no internet service. I couldn't get any work done. I spent 25 minutes on the phone with their tech support who couldn't get it either. Same day they shut the water off in the hotel from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Not happy. People at the front desk said, sorry. Didn't try to do anything. After talking to management, they offered me 40.00 back but wouldn't refund my money for the day and night. Will never stay here again. The lamp in the room doesn't work. They only have 6 channel for cable TV. The hotel is old. There are no outlets in the room. Everything is connected by extension cords. Will be sure not to stay here again.

    « Clean & Friendly »

Staff is very particular the kind gentleman providing the valet parking. Breakfast was good and an added bonus that I wasn't expecting, the room was clean, could use some updating with decor but the bed was comfortable and the linens clean and cozy. They easily accommodated a later checkout time for me.

« Great deal and location »

The Best Western never lets you down. Great accommodations while visiting family at Sunnybrook. Second stay at this hotel, the staff made it feel like home. Way to go Best Western. I have been very impressed with the BW product, they have improved substantially.

    « Very good »

The hotel is looking very dated. Furniture in the room was scuffed up, the washroom s very small, and the overhead lights are huge, loud fluorescent fixtures. Basically just an older building that is due for some renos. But the room itself was a very nice size, and was very clean. The staff at the from desk were very polite, and the free breakfast was decent. The hotel is in a fairly central location to everything as well. No major complaints, and the hotel is a decent value.

    « Courteous Service »

Staff was very accommodating, no problem checking in an hour early. A hot breakfast was included in the price. Ahmed the server in the dining room was very pleasant and friendly, and very efficient. The room was a good size with a coffee maker and mini fridge, and a table and chairs to sit at was a nice bonus. Good value overall.

« Good service, valet parking »

We got a good size room for 3 people on the 5th floor, so no complain about that. Staff are friendly, good service. Parking space is an issue because the lot is so small and hard to park the car yourself. Therefore, we have to have the valet do the parking for us, just so our car will not block others. There is a "green P" parking lot, but it is a ways walk for us. I hope the hotel would upgrade their key cards, they don't always work on our lock.

« Wonderful stay and staff »

This hotel was very quiet and quaint. Nice and spacious room with multiple types of pillows to use and other useful amenities in the room. In the morning, the breakfast that is included was wonderfully done, lots of selection of both hot and cold items and servers to wait on you. Our server was very kind and wonderful at his job, it felt like five star service from a cruise ship. The front desk was very accommodating and allowed us to leave our car there during the day even after we had checked out. Overall a very welcoming and comforting experience.

« Nice, spacious hotel room »

I stayed at this hotel once and it was great. I had requested for a corner room online and I was given that and I loved it. Very clean and quiet. The staff were very nice and accommodating as well. The location is great because it is near the subway station, a mini mall, and lots of restaurants and bars.

    « tired hotel »

When my wife and I travel into Toronto we usually stay at this hotel. This is primarily due to its central location, proximity to a number of good restaurants on Mount Pleasant Road, and a buffet breakfast is included. Our visit this time included a small room on the fifth floor(although in previous visits we have been in a much larger room on this same floor) which had rust on the bathtub and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. The comfort of the bed at best was so-so. Breakfast was a buffet which strangely did not include bacon. The one bright spot during the visit was the efficiency and personality of the dining room waiter. Many of the restaurants on Mount Pleasant Road have closed and the one Italian restaurant we found was very overpriced. It will be another hotel for us next time.

« Good Hotel in Toronto »

I stayed 4 nights at the Best Western Roehampton hotel. It is in a convenient location and the noise level is very low. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was above average and staff were excellent. I would stay there again.

    « Excellent central location »

Nestled just north of Eglinton and Mt. Pleasant Rd. Downtown Toronto, this hotel is a sure bet to please everyone from locals to tourists visiting Toronto. The hallways have a lovely decor and attractive colour with a bit of bling. This hotel is immaculately clean. My room had a spotless bathtub floor, gleaning shiny bright as were rug covered and uncovered floors throughout the hotel. The beds are very comfortable. Wonderful view of north Toronto from the 9th floor. Although quaint, I was very pleased with the room overall. It was a wonderful place to relax. My hats go off to the all the staff at this hotel. They show pride of service from those in the breakfast bar to front counter to the concierge -- all of this helps one to feel this hotel to be #1 choice of hotel whenever a visit to Toronto is on the list.

« Will stay stay here again on my next trip to this area. »

Front desk staff very helpful and courteous. The suite was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but adequate. The breakfasts were excellent, service very good except for one average waiter. Limited valet parking in garage was worth the extra cost in in bad weather. Outside parking available.

    « Had a hospital appointment! »

Roehampton hotel was at the right place at the right time. Staff, lounge, breakfast were all great as well as the parking valet. Close to Sunny brook Hospital made all the difference. Would stay there again. This was my 3rd stay in Toronto and one in Peterborough

« Better places out there »

Hotel is subaverage. Bathrooms are tiny. The bathroom supplies (shampoo...) are poor quality. No air conditioning. Was asked to open a window, which allows the noise to come in. Beds have giant pillow cases with small pillows. Far from the sights of Toronto. Staff are friendly though. Poor rep for the Best Western company.

« Excellent Hotel and well located »

More than satisfied with the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the room and breakfast. The hotel is well situated for the Yonge/Eglinton area of Toronto! The check-in and check-out was smooth and efficient. Parking is available on site for a nominal daily fee.

    « Terrible Experience »

Terrible customer service, night front desk manager needs to learn how to treat guests with respect and handle unforeseen situations a lot better. My situation eventually was handled but it took a lot of push back and I experienced a lot of profanity/negativity as well when trying to explain the reasons for my discontent. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

    « Old and stinky »

Everywhere one can see how old the hotel is - furniture, carpets etc. The 7th floor (I guess for smokers) stinks with cigarette smoke incredibly. Breakfasts - not much to choose from and not tasty. At least the service both at reception and restaurant is nice.

« Great location. Helpful staff. Good value »

This hotel is located just outside downtown and there is plenty to do within walking distance. Great restaurants all around. The hotel itself is nice but could use a little updating. It is clean, and the staff are very helpful and most accommodating . The major drawback was that the heat could not be controlled in individual rooms once it is turned on for the building. It was unusually warm for October, so it became very uncomfortable to be in the room.

    « Great Staff + Comfy Bed »

Friendly staff, from the reception to the ladies serving the breakfast area. Room is clean with good bed and floppy pillows...extra ones are in the dresser. Bathroom is very small and not proportioned to the actual bedroom. Breakfast covers a lot of options from bagels, muffins, scrambled egg,, juice, etc. Basic but good. Overall, the place is clean and lobby is modern. CONS: Room 805 is spacious but the AC/heater vent is very noisy probably a loosened duct material that flaps all day! I ended up turning it off. Parking is limited. There is parking facility 3 min walk (9CAD overnight) so I used that on our 1st night.

    « Average »

Very basic hotel with specious rooms. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms were too hot and the cool mode on the air conditioner didn't work. The washroom was very small and the door rotted. The complimentary breakfast was below average with respect to the selection. There wasn't a one piece of vegetable available for breakfast. The hotel service at the reception, restaurant, and valet parking was very good and super friendly.

    « Great location »

Quick easy fifteen minute drive to the downtown waterfront, and only ten to fifteen minutes to the airport. Plenty of food options within five minutes, take a walk up Eglington to Yonge Street for a fun and vibrant night life. The hotel was clean and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast was outstanding!

    « Good value »

Room was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were very good, many items, and with eggs and bacon or sausages each day. A large variety of breads and pastry, yogurt and fresh fruits. The dining room was very pleasant, and the servers were friendly and attentive.

    « 2 nights in comfort »

This is a very nice hotel with wonderful beds and a very good breakfast included in the cost. well located but the construction in the area is off putting. Once it is done should be great. The parking is Valet but still a good deal for the location. Excellent restaurant staff for breakfast, very caring and on top of things for you. Valet was excellent

    « GREAT Value/SUPER property »

The breakfasts were amazing. Our room appeared to have had some upgrades and the bed was new-ish and really comfortable. The location is easy to get around to and from and there were lots of really good restaurants an easy walk away. It is on a busy street, so there is some road noise in the morning, but not bad. Would definitely go back.

    « Excellent Stay »

Well located related to my needs. Excellent staff. Have stayed there many times and several staff remember me. Restaurant staff are friendly and efficient. Valet parking is efficient. Always enjoy my stay there.

    « A Cheap Experience »

The hotel is in a great part of Toronto City, appears worn and shabby, tries hard to look upscale but does not succeed. That said, the staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is mediocre and the room is probably a 2.5 star experience. Sorry, but we're not recommending this hotel to anyone we care about.

    « Good location...Pool was closed!!! »

The Location was very good however I had called a few days prior to my stay and specifically asked about the pool being open or not. I was assured that it would still be open during my 2 night stay however I was very disappointing when I was told it was closed upon checking in! I would not have stayed here had I known this before hand!

    « Nice hotel - just what you'd expect »

This best Western was a nice hotel. It was exactly what I thought I was going to get. A clean, simple room with comfortable beds. The carpets in the rooms need changing because they are old and worn, but that is a small thing overall. I thought it was good value for the money. The breakfast was OK, but nothing spectacular. The front counter staff was fine. The only thing I would say could stand with improving is that there are quite heavy doors that you need to open to get into the hotel. Because no staff member helps you, if you are elderly or for some reason weak, this may be a slight problem. A nice hotel to stay in if you want to be in that part of the city.

« Great location, Great Staff »

Great location near Yonge/Eglington. Lots of restaurants, drug store, bars, specialty shops. Hotel is older and the decor could use a refresh, but its really clean and the staff are terrific. I'd recommend it for pleasure or business.

Hotel is a little out of the way from downtown Toronto but the hotel staff and full breakfast made it worthwhile. Hotel is a little old and dated but hotel rooms are quite clean and comfortable. Plenty of transit options to get downtown between TTC and the subway.

We truly enjoyed our stay , breakfast was fantastic, the room service was also very good . The staff were very friendly and helpful . We had no issues with parking and was well looked after .The pool area was very clean , and the water was warm and very well maintained . The sitting area was great. .However the review of this survey must have a minimum of 200 characters , that is a bit too long since there is so much that you can say about my stay at the Hotel . We were 3 ladies and had no complains whatsoever . Have a wonderful day .
