People actually live here. Kids running up and down the hallway. Room service every other day. Not within walking distance of anything. Restraunt food was fair at best. Paula, the bartender was great. People were always cleaning so it was very clean, bed was fine. So just the noise and full garbage cans were a turn off. Just not in a great location.

BED BUGS!!! DO NOT GO. I woke up and found bed bugs in my bed. I called down right away and asked for plastic bags for my clothes and for someone to come up and look at my bed. the manager came up- said he would move me to a different room on a different floor. They had me waiting 1 and a half hours in the bug infested room, I called down and asked multiple times for the plastic bags so I could try to contain the clothes I wore in the bed- the reception said she doesn't control the cleaning staff and that she couldn't get someone to bring me plastic bags?? I had to go to the cleaning cart and take garbage bags myself from the cart and the cleaning lady made a comment about how there weren't any bugs in the room. There was no apologetic nature to the situation or any urgency. When I confronted them the very least regarding a discount they said it wasn't their responsibility because I booked through expedia and then they proceeded to talk me out of calling Expedia saying they wouldn't refund me etc. I am COVERED in bed bug bites- this was not just a couple of bugs but a full on infestation. I now have spent so much money in dry cleaning and getting my car detailed to try and avoid bringing this back to my house and this hotel didnt even want to refund me. After several days of calling about a refund and them telling me to call back they gave me money back (I called 4 days In a row which I shouldn't have had to do.) the refund really doesn't even begin to cover the money I've already spent on trying to contain this thing. And upon refund they said “we didn't find any bugs” no ownership no nothing. Even after I took pictures of the bugs and proof of the hundred odd bites all over me. Bed bugs can happen to any hotel but the customer service was absolutely horrible. I hope no one else has to undergo what I went through with this place.

Keyur at front desk in the evening listens and solves most of the issues of all the guests, his temperament is always professional when dealing with the guests. He explains all the rules and policies of the hotel in a crystal clear manner.

This place has it all. Great rooms, food and amenities. Location is convenient and if you have to go out lots of food options nearby. The staff was warm and welcoming as was the lobby design. Well lit and decorated. Nick at the desk was awesome. Will be back soon!

We stayed at the Best Western for a little weekend getaway with the kids. After reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant, but I am proud to say that the negative reviews are untrue. The rooms were clean, the restaurant was amazing and the staff night and morning exceeded our expectations. They were friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend to anyone.

Literally we booked because we're rewards members and it was close to the airport. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Best Western Plus - beautiful and updated. We had a great time! Free parking

If uncomfortable beds and dirty amenities and being overcharged are your thing, Go here! Sure to disappoint! Enjoy disappointment at every level, and when you go to pay the bill, be consoled by the fact that "Oh, it's going to get better in 2024!"

I enjoyed this hotel for the most part. They have a laundry room, pool and fitness room which was good for my family and I. I didn't like when I brought certain complaints about my room to the front desk I was told there's nothing wrong without them even coming to check, overall the hotel is beautiful but they need to check rooms properly before checking people in for a smoother stay

The hotel is too far from downtown Toronto (30min if no traffic) There are some fast food places around but you really need a car. There's a nice mall 12 min away, 'Yorkdale'. The room was nice. No safety box though. We found couple of cockroaches in the bathroom and room.

Left my wallet in room, once I had noticed I left it, I immediately called the hotel they said it was not there. I know it was and I know where I put it No corporation from hotel staff and pretty much called a liar Stay clear from this hotel as well its by 2 homeless shelters and lots if vagrants in proximity.

The staff spoke to us badly (screamed downright at us) and in addition they charged us the 2 days of stay without our consent on the credit card. For the room, everything was old and dirty (chair and lamps broken) and the bathroom which has a hole in the ceiling so much that the guest in the room upstairs took his shower and it leaked into our shower. Anyway, I will never go back to this hotel again.

Very good and helpful staff members, very accomodating house keeping staff, extremely satisfied and will come back many more times, the staff always exceed my expectations and try their level best to help me out every single way

Staff are rude. They looked like they don't like what they do. They looked at their guests with judgements. They seemed irritated when asked for informations. Overall the hotel is a good place to stay.

Bathtub liner was poorly installed. The floor of tub felt like a waterbed. We told front desk staff and management and neither were helpful. I recommended that they not rent that room anymore as it was that hazardous.

I don't recommend this hotel. I and my family got bad vibes here. There are: 1. The room is dirty. We did request housekeeping but they didn't provide that. The housekeeper only cleans the room for every 2 days. Special request was also rejected from them. 2. The staff are not friendly at all. (Except restaurant staff) 3. The hotel security system is bad. 4. I don't recommend this hotel if you plan to stay more than one night. It's absolutely dirty.

We had an air conditioning issue, our unit leaked and floor was wet, we were switched immediately with no hassle. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent. Not a 5 star hotel, but we didn't pay for one.

Blamed for smoking in room, don't even smoke. Manager threatened to charge smoking fee. Worst place to stay. Will not stay there again. Room was not clean had some sort of liquid dried all over the head bed, had to clean myself.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone who are planning to spend some time in toronto. The hotel crew are really very fiendly. Especially in the reception a lady called Supriya and the auditor called Al Nawaz were quite talkative and very helpful. The hotel is clean, quiet and bed was very comfortable. I would stay again there for sure next time i am in toronto.

Compared to the other hotels I stay at for the past 3 months, this hotel had the kindest staff of all. Restaurant good food, rooms are clean, wifi is very good. Location is not bad just that the constitution on the street makes it hard to get anywhere quicker

Gross public hair in bathroom, room smelled like someone just had a sex party in there, qlso the bottom of the doors and door knobs are starting to rot, didn't now like my experi3nce at all will not be coming back to this hotel worst best western I've ever been to

Comfortable stay with family members. We all enjoyed staying at the Best Western. We would come back before the end of summer. We will drop in for the breakfast was delicious all the best to the staff who assisted us during our stay.

The bedsheets were not changed as we found hair, stains and other stuff on them. We called the front desk but the staff showed up telling us he didn't do cleaning so we had to change the sheets ourselves. He brought us two old sheets not looking pleased. The cleaning staff didn't leave us a change bathroom floor towel after we put the dirty one outside. The front desk staff were not friendly or efficient either. We didn't feel welcome. The bedside outlet was dysfunctional and didn't charge well. The room smelled stuffy. There was no complimentary bottled water at all. The internet worked fine. The little fridge was a help when we bought our own bottled water and other drinks. Compared with other hotels we had stayed, this one was not one we'd recommend.

Lots of Construction, heavy Traffic, Resturant very poor hours, can hear traffic noise from highway, only clean room if requested, staff was friendly, probably would not! Stay at this location again!!

The hotel is a very nice facility in a great location in Toronto. Modern rooms with excellent beds and large bathrooms. Great wireless internet. Clean and well-kept public areas. Beautiful pool. Friendly front desk and restaurant staff. Great breakfasts with 15% discount for hotel guests at the restaurant. Highly recommended.

We went to get away for the night and it was a great experience as it always is. Nick and Al i believe it is are great ajd always make our stay enjoyable. we would definetly go back there and recommend it

I picked this hotel solely for location being close to a family reunion. We were after all just sleeping there. Happily we pleased with the comfort of the room, the pleasant staff and the amenities. If we come back for a future visit we will definitely stay there again.

My tv did not work - I was told someone would come look at it and they never did. My hairdryer did not work - housekeeping did replace it but it threw off my morning. The restaurant closed at 1pm and never reopened. There is nothing within walking distance.

First of all the hallways and the room smelled very bad. The room was very disgusting as there were handprints over the bed board, stained bed linen, hair in the bathtub, deied urine on toilet, pills on the luggage rack

My experience at this hotel was extremely negative, and frightening due to the conduct of the Front Desk Manager, and his outburst at me. The room I stayed in was as advertised, but the kettle was not working. When I called the front desk and spoke to the Front Desk Manager, I asked if I could be brought a new kettle. He told me it was working, and advised on how to use it. It did not work still, so I asked again to please be brought a new one, and he interrupted me several times. Finally, I asked him to please stop interrupting me so I could finish my sentence, and that I thought it was poor customer service with how frustrated he was getting with me. The Front Desk Manager immediately threatened to call the police on me. His reaction to being asked to please not interrupt me was explosive. He said I was threatening him, and being demanding. He repeatedly said he was kicking me out of the hotel, and was going to call the police on me. He never called the police. I told him I am not threatening him, I am asking him to speak to me with more consideration. He told me to get out, he would be calling the police. I went down to the front desk to get my refund and leave. I was very frightened by the Front Desk Manager's yelling. The Front Desk Manager continued to threaten to call the police and yell in the lobby at me. There were other guests in the lobby, watching this. Again, he never actually called the police. He said I was threatening him, despite my being so frightened by his explosive reaction I was crying for the last 10 minutes of his yelling. I continued to tell him without yelling this is very poor, and scary, service. I asked him to please stop yelling. He continued yelling at me in the lobby, saying I am threatening him. I said I was fine with him calling the police, as he continued to threaten it. He never did call, he only continued to yell at me to leave because I was being such a demanding customer. My experience at this hotel is the poorest experience I have ever had. Both with its customer service, professionalism, and threats by the Manager. The Front Desk Manager spoke to me in ways that were hostile, unprofessional, and threatening. I left feeling incredibly frightened at his yelling and disrespected at threats to call the police because I asked him to not interrupt me so much on the phone. His reaction began simply from me asking for a kettle that works, and for him to allow me to finish a sentence. I have never felt so belittled and afraid by a member of staff at a hotel.

I had to change rooms three times due to hair on bed. The staff seem to be upset that I am asking for a clean room which is the bare minimum that a hotel should provide. They made it seem that I am the bad one and made excuses about labour day and being booked. Regardless a dirty room should not be given to a guests. My daughter slept with all her clothes on as questioned the cleanliness of the bed even after changing rooms 3 times

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. When we arrived, our room wasn't even ready yet. The room is not very clean, there are sticky weird stains all over the headboard there is dust on the furniture and the grout in the shower is filthy. They don't have cribs, as advertised on their website so we have to go and buy a safe sleep space for my two month old. They did eventually bring a pack and play they found in the basement that was FILTHY. I'm offended they expected my two month old to sleep on it, I wouldn't let a dog sleep on it. there was an incessant ringing noise coming from our toilet, and we had to shut the water off to the toilet for it to stop. We asked for extra blankets, and the gentleman who brought it up to us apologized and stated they only had one extra blanket in the entire hotel. The doorstop was loosely held in with one screw and fell off and the bathroom toilet paper dispenser is taped to the wall. This hotel is a dump, stay away.

Dirt and candies under large chair. Years of dust behind end tables. Lots of things need fixing. No duvet provided for sofa bed. On check out manager apologized, offered his card for the perfect room next time.

We stayed with our family of 4 3 different nights. Each stay, the rooms were very clean and in excellent condition. Better shape than more expensive or higher rated hotels. Suite rooms have plenty of space and 2 bathrooms. TV's are large, wall mounted in some rooms and have perfect signal / picture quality. Coffee maker is simple to use. Beds are comfortable. Sofa bed is hit or miss (like most hotels). Location is perfect if you are going to Wonderland, Vaughan Mills Mall or even ok if you don't mind a longer commute to downtown. But for downtown probably should pick something closer. Staff are really helpful and kind. They will make you feel taken care of as much as they can given the staff shortages in this industry - so give them a break :) Check the condition of the elevator though before using it.

Toronto was packed so we had to stay a bit of a way out but its manageable with the underground and lyfts. the hotel was buzzing due to local events but the reception and management handled everything calmly and efficiently and couldnt do enough for us. sadly they do not do breakfast but the attached restaurant does one of the best breakfasts that we had in the USA with the modt friendly of staff.

Rooms were disgusting. Cleanliness was horrible. Stained sheets. room smelled like smoke. Plus they charged me for 3 nights and I didn't even stay 1 night at this hotel. They wanted to give me a a third room after the first one smelled like smoke. The second one has stained bed sheets. I asked them to change it and they said that they couldn't.

Cost not justifiable with amenities. Cleanings is questionable with fruit flies, hair on beding and towels, floor has bad order, elevators with garbage odors, and furniture appeared to have been chewed by a dog.

We've stayed here earlier in the year and the staff went above and beyond. This time was no different. From splitting my payment to a courtesy welcome call. Will definitely be staying here on future visits to Toronto.

Here are a couple of things we noticed: 1. They use way too much cleaning products all throughout the hotel. Our room smelled like the inside of a mr.Clean bottle. 2. There's mold in the shower and on the shower curtain. You can see and smell it. 3. The hotel's amenities are OLD. The machines in the fitness centre are worn out. 4. Their breakfast is gross. Do yourself a favour and don't eat there. 5. The location is terrible. Make sure you have reliable transportation if you're staying here. 6. I gave two stars because the people are nice and there's free wifi and parking.

This hotel is not up to the Best Western Plus standard. No breakfast, pool was dirty and hot tub was green. The lobby was nice and clean and bright but that was the only location that was. I was really disappointed in this hotel.

My partner was skeptical as used to 5 stars. BUT was happy, Staff was very helpful and polite. Room was great and all in all was happy and we shall return. Guess only thing missing was the continental breakfast, but restaurant on site was excellent and staff supplied us with coffee for room. We shall return

It's a Best Western so something is broken in the room. This time it's 3 out of 4 lights, the toilet, and someone took the power plug to the TV. They argue with you if you want your room cleaned more than once a week and their do it yourself laundry services are constantly broken. They did offer to dry my clothes after I washed them and the dryer was broken but they in turn ruined $200 in cooking my clothes. You would get better service at a homeless camp under an overpass.

This particular Best Western never disappoints. We stay here every time we visit Toronto for the roomy accommodations and generous pool and hot tub. Friendly staff and located close enough to town to be considered convenient.

Great customer service! The man I spoke with Yash was very helpful in answering questions as well as helping in finding the best hotel for my husband and I. The attention to detail provided by (Yash) was impressive and his customer service skills are excellent. I really appreciate all the efforts that. From customer service department he put on solving my issue. I was pleasantly surprised. Great work! I cant thank him enough! Thank you so much for such a WONDERFUL experience.

Rooms are not very clean. There was stains on all the furniture , and toilet paper in the toilet when we arrived. Air conditioner was also not working. The one in our room turned on but did not make our room cold at all. The air conditioner in the living room wouldn't even turn on. It was so gross and muggy in our room due to this. There was also stuff behind the bed on the floor. Also, the one light beside the one side of the bed did not even work. Just an awful stay!

Terrible service, extremely rude staff, breakfast is not included, avoid at all costs. We had a horrible stay at this hotel. We booked our weekend stay back in February to receive the lower rates. We booked two refundable rooms as we had 8 people. As we got closer to the weekend we needed to cancel one of the rooms. After calling the hotel, I was told by someone claiming to be a manager that I was unable to cancel because I had a non refundable room and after arguing for a few minutes that I had in fact paid for a refundable room, the he got angry and told me I had to cancel my entire reservation and rebook a single room online. Of course two days before a busy weekend, there were no available rooms online at any hotels Including this one. I was forced to call customer service who had to work with upper management to get me a room at the rate I had originally paid after telling me this person was in fact NOT a manager and that he should not have done what he did. I was perfectly in my right to cancel one of my rooms. Additionally we had zero service during this stay - no replenishment of towels or toiletries for three days. Breakfast was NOT included as it stated on the website, resulting in an extra cost to us at over $200. The room was also dirty upon arrival. Upon checking out the same front desk person recognized my name and gave me a lecture on cancelling procedure and how I should come to the hotel next time to cancel in person which makes zero sense as we are travelling from away and the policy is to cancel 24 hours in advance. I'm extremely disappointed with this stay and I will not be staying again. However, the customer relations representative who dealt with my situation was extremely pleasant and helpful. If you just stay here and need to make any changes, do not call the hotel directly - Call the reservations line or customer relations.

The rooms are very clean and the staff are very courteous, especially All. The hospitality of the staff was amazing they make you feel welcomed. I always enjoy my stay there whenever I visit Toronto. My favorite hotel

The tubs are very slippery. I traveled w/ children. I slipped and fell. Staff is not concerned about guests well being, no offers to call for medical assistance. They don't deliver 1st aid to room. My son had to get it from reception. At check out I asked the incident be reported. I received a call shortly after checking out informing of a $25 discount. More concern at the moment of the incident would be greatly appreciated, especially when traveling with just children.

It was clean and the beds are a bit hard. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice! The price of the room is a bit expensive for the Location but it's still in a part Toronto so it's to be expected! Friendly staff!!

We planned a very last minute adventure for myself and my husband for my birthday. From check in to check out everything was over the top! The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and even welcomed us back the next evening when we got back. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves which is never a complaint for me. Sleep quality got a lower score only because I like a fluffy bed, but my husband found the beds very comfortable for him.

Very difficult area to maneuver due to construction. Due to this was planning on food at the hotel. Restaurant closed. Breakfast at 7am, with a guest discount, which was of no use because I was there for work and had to leave by 7 to go back to the office.

Don't waste your money. No flexibility over booked hotel on Expedia.. refused refund. Pearson delays do not book here they don't care…. Unlike other hotels like Hilton or holiday inn express they assist and care about future business. This isn't a $327 night hotel.

Al was really good with check in and bringing up spare towels afterwards. He even printed directions to a few sites which were REALLY helpful. The breakfast was fresh but it is not included in the room rate.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and safe neighbourhood! I dropped my keys in the parking lot and thankfully they were returned to the front desk : ) Restaurant had great food, pool was amazing and the room was a good size. The price was fair. We would be happy to stay here again when visiting Toronto.

Don't expect early breakfast or coffee We were in the area for a baseball tournament and couldn't wait till 8 when the restaurant opened. Construction in the area made the entry to the hotel more difficult.

We were greeted with a smile from Yash, he got our room on the highest floor with a request from my littles, than we returned to ask if we could have 3 more of our party on our floor and he not only did he also got us adjoining to one of our parties room! It worked out super well, and the pool and hot tub her amazing! We would have enjoyed some lounge chairs in the pool area but other wise nothing that will keep us from returning!! I've machines were on every other floor but during our stay the only working one was the main floor so save yourself some time running all over and just hit the main floor!

Nic and the staff has treated me like family. I've stayed at this hotel a 1000 nights, always the best service and easy check in. This is why I stay here. whether I book on line or call the hotel directly, I would only stay at this North York Bestwestern

Very comfortable stay, pleasant staff, nice triangle shaped pool enabled some laps along the long edge of the pool and a very practical fitness room - used elyptical and multi-level weight system. Good location 400/Finch with free parking.

We enjoy staying at this Hotel. It is conveniently located off the 400, near Finch. There are a bunch of good restaurants north of the hotel, and you can get to the 401 very quickly. Hotel is clean, and it is quiet. Free parking, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend Yash, great front desk service. Look forward to staying here again.

This hotel was overall not too clean. They have (shady) long term tenants there and even with a police station beside it there was vehicles stolen from. If you need to go anywhere you need to take a cab because it's not safe to walk. The Hotel was not very clean with main lobby furniture stained and room cleanliness was not high. The staff was pretty good and friendly however I didn't need instruction on how to fix a toilet.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Toronto North York for a hockey tournament. Our coach decided on the hotel. Pros: - Large bar fridge in room - microwave in room Cons: - in a construction zone - Finch Ave near Hotel (where most restaurants are located) is a total construction zone so what should be a 10 minute round trip to pick up take out took 40 minutes - Reception only provided 1 key card to each family - Each family had to go back down to the desk and ask for a second key card - Key Cards repeatedly stopped working and needed to be re-activated (we had to get the card re-activated at least 6 times in the less than 48 hours that we were at the hotel) - Handle was falling off the cabinet containing the fridge in the room - micro closet only - room bathroom only had 2 towels - not even enough for each person staying in the room - Towel hook loose on bathroom door - tile coming off seating bench by the pool - Bottom of the tub felt very squishy when showering - like it wasn't supported.

Not impressed, travelled in 2022 03 for a sports event. Cleaning was not done until Day 3 and needed a 24 hour notice request, clean beds had black hair in them, pool, hot tub and gym are were closed, restaurant was mostly closed. We ended up checking out early and moving to another hotel for the remainder of our stay which better suited our needs.

Our stay was perfect. We needed a quiet place and comfortable beds for a good sleep and we got it. Check in was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect, naval oranges were delicious, I must know your supplier.

The front desk representative did try their best to accommodate the hotels short comings with extra towels, etc. However, this was a dirty hotel. There was hair on the bed and the bathroom floor. The ice bucket, shower, toilet and sink all had dirt on them. The shower curtain had mold. The bed linens were stained. The towels had hair on them but were folded as if they were unused. The heating unit was sticky. We stayed at this hotel for a funeral. The soap gave 2 people who are not related rashes. The pool seems to be permanently closed but is advertised on their website. Other family members with different rooms had the same complaints as well as plumbing issues. Never again.

We often utilize this location for its proximity to Toronto Track and Field Centre. The staff is always friendly and happy to answer questions and give suggestions. The hotel is clean and the rooms are clean above standard. Internet connection was sufficient and beds are comfortable.

Staff very friendly. Facilities are clean. Rooms are updated and very clean. Convenient location, close to airport, Canada's Wonderland, Toronto Zoo. I come here twice a year as it is close to my eye specialists office so I can walk to my appointments. Also offers late checkout.

Booking by room was a breeze since I prefer booking with front desk rather than a third party. Staff very helpful and attentive. Nice, clean room with King bed and full bath with enjoining room with sofa and another washroom with shower. Both rooms had big screen TVs. Recent decor updates including new cushy, broadloom. We were very comfortable and we are very fussy. Everything tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Room amenities in good working order. Thermostat in each room. Air quality was also very good. Not stuffy. Thank you to the helpful staff.

great rooms, clean, great price for the suite, which served as gathering space (we travelled with 16 persons using 6 rooms). Staff is great, leading by example is Manager Nick, whom was awesome from reservations to execution! would definitely stay again when in town.

Top notch stay, friendly staff, clean room and good service. Close to airport and everything else and access to higways easy. Its off heavy traffic areas so very quiet so nice for a good night sleep. Plenty of parking also.

The room was dirty, okay filthy. I thought the bathroom was clean. Until I found the blood on the bathroom door. Oh and could get no internet, on my device. Unless I brought my own portable router. A thought to keep in mind for next time. If there is a next time.

First there was no breakfast option available, No Coffee available, and there seemed to be a Propane smell in the front lobby. When I got into my Room, The Sink was Cracked, the tap was dripping (It could be seen that this tap was leaking for a while now) The Bathub looks like it was replaced but the floor was lumpy.... When I went to turn on the bath tap, the handle fell off. It was a loose screw but something that should not happen..... This room needs to be updated.....

We selected this hotel as it was close to where we wanted to be on our weekend in North Toronto. The room was well-appointed, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and bright. We had an issue with getting the climate control working properly. There was no customary guest information book with directions and instructions. But, hotel maintenance cleared it up quite promptly. The fitness facility is rather simple, but on the weight-stack there was one pin missing, so it couldn't be completely used. There was no breakfast -- perhaps due to CoVID-19. The bed was comfortable, although the requested extra firm pillows, turned out to be not so firm at all. Large tv, but no tv guide was available in the room, and not a very great selection of channels.

Used this hotel for my overnight stays while my husband was in the hospital for surgery. Was nice to relax in the jacuzzi tub. The rooms were very clean, but found the bed to be too firm for me to sleep comfortably.

The room was filthy and a complete disappointment. Sheets were old ratty and stained, the shower curtain was moldy, what looked to be “curly dark hair” on the ceiling of the shower, and there was a clear lack of cleaning in the washroom… I was very disappointed and brought my concerns to their head office and didn't even get a response

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western. The room I got was really great. But for some reason the AC in my room was turning off not I couldn't change it cause my room got a bit cold. Besides that, everything else was great. The staff was great and friendly as well!

Amazing atmosphere to relax and also have fun. The rooms are so cool but have a peculiar smell. However, it was awesome to have stayed there. The staff were amazing too as they gave good customer service.

1- Front desk argued with me about the wrong reservation they provided. 2- As indicated on the best western site a bag breakfast will be provided and it was not. No restaurant open no bag breakfast which is false advertising. 3- we stayed at the best western 50 Norfinch av in north york Toronto the second floor stank so bad of stale cigarettes and freshly smoked marjuanna. My nose was burning for hours. Never again ! I will be looking into serious investigations. The room was dirty old stale water in the ice bucket ice machine broken. Crumbs on the floor. Nasty place.

Very nice and clean rooms and very close to wonderland .. They have lime soaps in the bathroom that smell so good I have to find out where to buy them . Parking had lots of space and is a vary safe part of town as it is right beside a police station

The hotel is located in North York, Ontario, Canada near York University Campus. It is located near Yorkgate Mall and Jane and Finch Mall. The room was well lit and comfortable. It had a queen bed, an office desk and a lounge chair. The bathroom was big and the well lit and ventilated. The room was very economically priced.

Yes everything was excellent,very clean,very good service and helpful staff at front lobby,very good parking space...no meals because of covid 19...Overall review was excellent..........the front lobby was excellent,the cleaning services was excellent again overall service was excellent

This is nice hotel with very comfortable beds but the rest of the room(s) decor is very dated and some is worn out and should be replaced. Also room cleanliness is an issue in regards to the carpets and the amount of towels in each room is minimal.

Booked this hotel as it is close to my specialists medical office. All in all not bad but I do have questions regarding the final bill. Also, although it's not the Hotel's fault, my car was surrounded by packed snow from the snow removal companies plow trucks. Had to enter my car through the passenger side door.

Check-in and Check-out were smooth but, everything in between did not go as planned. I've stayed at various hotels from high range to low range motels so I have some experience. I've also stayed at other Best Western locations but this one honestly sucked. We had mentioned a comment on our booking that it was our anniversary, there was no comment what-so-ever at check-in. I wasn't too concerned but that was the first indication on customer service was low. (side note: we went to a few restaurants in the Toronto area and booked online and mentioned our anniversary, I really don't care about extras, or discounts but the mentioning and appreciation is what really matters, and all restaurants mentioned it!) As we are checking in we knew amenities would be limited due to Covid-19, there was no restaurants open, lounges, pool, fitness - everything was closed. It sucked but it is what it is. However on the website it stated some sort of breakfast would be offered whether its a sit down (spaced out by 2 meters), or grab-and-go. The check-in clerk had no idea what I was talking about... Anyways we go to our room notice some towels and bed sheets are lightly stained, first time I've seen this, the bed was stated to be a King size but i guess everyone has their own opinion on king... I have an actual king at home (76 x 80), and I can lay vertically or horizontally without hanging off (Since I'm 6"2), The hotel my feet were hanging off, and if i laid the other way my whole head was off, i swear it was a queen but apparently best western knows better so i didn't argue. We weren't at the hotel during the day as went went out and about but the last thing that happened was right before check-out. Its 9h30 am blinds open, we just finished showering so coming out unclothed and there is a guy at the 5th floor in a sky jack scrapping our window - how unprofessional... Some of it can be considered bad luck but to me its poorly managed, poor communication as well. Forgot to add that they charged an extra $150 deposit on my card without telling me, another poor communication point...

Despite this hotel being a slight distance from many features I had a great stay the staff was super friendly and respected me to the fullest and the price was great very cooperative with payment options.

Stay here if you'd like to be charged a $250 damage fee for something you did not do. When called to resolve the situation the manager, Nick Hrousalas, was extremely disgusting with the way he handled the situation. 1. someone was locked in our room when we were checking in our room at 8pm. We then switched to another room as they refused to open the door. Then the amenities were not working in the next room so they moved us back to the original room. Next thing we know we are charged a damage fee for an apparently loose table leg where the manager said we were clearly sitting on a table. Having to stay in a hotel room is already concerning during a pandemic (this was an essential travel) why on earth would we sit on a table???. As someone who has worked in a hotel room I know very well what gets cleaned and what else can be overlooked. I will not be silent about this issue. We are travelling for work and have been accused for being reckless. Why on earth was someone locked in our room at 8pm? Why on earth would we sit on a table? stay away! as people who have stayed in several hotels before and someone who has worked in the hotel industry previously, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had and i will make sure a lot of my colleagues, friends, and family hear about this disgusting place. As the head office is not helping to solve this issue, I am forced to posy my experience in every media outlet possible and file a police report. My safety was jeopardized when someone was randomly in my hotel room locked at 8pm and they will not even look into this as the manager refuses to provide video evidence to see who was in my room at night.

we walked in our room and the smelly of mildew and dirty socks hit you. I made a special request for bedding for the pullout couch the was none in sight when I opened the couch there was dirty sheets on the bed the mirror around the jacuzzi tub was filthy. The tub was broken and dirty paid extra for the jacuzzi tub room. The night stands and crusted dirt on them. We were told about the breakfast or wifi. They put us in a room beside to room under construction that started at 7am . We have photos of everything

Me and my girlfriend like to spend nights here, we usually go after clubs or if we travel. Our goal is to always look for best western due to cheap rates and good service. Poool is fairly clean and WiFi is always at every location.

When I made my reservation I was told breakfast was included with the price, as that was the deal on Expedia. We paid the price we agreed on but no breakfast was included. I was told we could add it on for 15$ a person. Our group had 5, total of 75 extra dollars for breakfast. T

I really didn't wanted to accommodate myself in best western knowing the nature of the hotel. Well it was just for one night and there wasn't any rooms anywhere else. Well I checked in and tried to navigate the TV and there wasn't any channels working. Called the duty manager in the evening. He said that he was going to call a technician. Didn't show up to fix it. Okay calmed myself down to get into the hot pool to the main floor and guess what I saw the roof was leaking on the pool area. There was no bath towels. Again calming myself down saying that it's just one night told the manager to fill the pool up with some towels. Talked to to the duty manager that morning saying that he can't do anything about the pool but gave me 30 dollars off for the TV. Never going back

This has become my default hotel to stay at when visiting Toronto after I retired north of the city. Throughout my business career, I have become a member of many hotel chains (e.g. I am a Lifetime Platinum Elite member of Marriott Bonvoy), so I know a thing or two about hotels. This is a very well located property (easy access from Hwy 400 without having to deal with Toronto's impossible traffic, next to a police station, public transit around the corner), recently renovated, clean and modern (reminds me of German hotels with their Teutonic feel). Excellent free Wi-Fi, large LCD TVs, bedding, pool etc. It is always a pleasure to see the efficient, friendly and welcoming Nick Hrousalas at the front desk, with other staff equally efficient and helpful. I will highly recommend this hotel.

I wanted to try best western suites. I didn't have much of expectations about this hotel. So I tried to give it a try. 1 rooms were stinky 2. No cable was working.3 tried calling reception and there was no one there that is when I tried to come down and see where the hell is the receptionist. 4. Pool had no towels and the roof of the pool was leaking. The hotel was going through some renovations. Thank god I am here only for a night. I am done. I am out of here.

I will never stay at this hotel again. The staff was friendly but not helpful at all. Our room did not have a working toilet for most our stay, every time we complained someone came to fix it and not even half an hour later it was broken again. There was a lot of noise from the other guests between 1-4am so it was very hard to sleep. The lightening in the room is very poor, if the curtains were not open it was very dark inside the room, especially in the evenings. When we first walked into our room it smelt musty and stale and we found leftover food on the ground beside our beds. Half of the buttons on the tv remote were not working so it was very frustrating trying to use the tv. The pool was very cold and the hot tub did not work, staff said they would be right on it and after 45 minutes of waiting no one came. After our 2nd night we stopped asking for help from the staff because nothing ever seemed to be resolved. Myself and the 2 other guests sharing a room with me were very disappointed in the price of the room compared to the overall stay. We do not think this hotel was worth the price and will not stay again.

It was a very nice room. The lobby, restaurant, pool, etc... the overall space was nice. It is in a very convenient location. Close to the highway and airport. Room was clean, amenities were good. Great value.

I booked 2 rooms for 1 night for a family event. The exterior of the building is undergoing a major refacing so it did not look good pulling up. Once inside we discovered that it has been tastefully updated. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and had all the amenities we required.

It was ok, we weren't in the hotel much, and they were some renovation going on but didn't bother us. I did find the bed a bit hard but my husband loved it. Overall for the price it wasn't a bad stay.

Stayed here 11 ties in the past 8 months because location is great, seconds off 400 and a minute to the 407 so access to everywhere, downtown in 40 minutes in morning and 1/4 the price of a downtown hotel. Good bang for the buck. It is under renovation but still plenty quiet for sleeping. Restaurant is good reasonably priced and a good dinner menu. Very good and friendly service that respond to any issues, TV remotes in the room are horrible and never seem to work and most of the time the channels do not respond is the only knock against the place.

Comfortable and affordable, with friendly staff. Pool is a great amenity and there's an in-house restaurant that's reasonable. Currently being renovated so will be nice when complete. Free parking and wifi, close to Hwy 400 for easy access north or south.

This is my go to hotel when visiting the GTA! Clean and Comfy rooms with a great pool & Hot tub! Restaurant on location .Close to all major highways! The staff always with a warm and friendly welcome.Great hotel !

Staffs are very professional. Provided a great service and gave us information about the mall. Great experience. Staffs will try their best to help you as much as they can. Hotel is very clean. And it is under re-modeling. I am sure it will be even better.

Hotel is neat and all but location is really bad. If you are a tourist don't go for this hotel as it is really far from downtown. We thought it would be near york university but that too is not reachable walking but by car. Another thing is they took a deposit of 150 CAD even after I paid whole amount beforehand. I can understand taking a safety deposity but 150 CAD is too much for a tourist the hotel should understand that. Overall won't recommend for a tourist at all as i said beforehand really bad location. Though if you have business in North York it is decent. Please lower the safety deposit money though. I would have ranked the hotel higher if the security deposit was around 50 CAD.

We stayed overnight and after several repeated calls to the front desk (James), he did not care or attempt to control the noise coming from the adjoining room and hallway. The noise went on from midnight until 3am. Drained from no sleep, we checked out at 4am, after no action was taken by hotel from unruly guests. I expect more from this Best Western Plus chain, and will not be frequenting a Best Western again. My job requires I travel over 100 days a year. This chain of hotels I will be boycotting B. Mitton

Again, and as usual, did not dissappoint....the service, cleanliness (also location).... Overnight stay on Christmas day....on site restaurant was not open....complimentary breakfast items offered...Thank you!

I prepaid my room and then lost my wallet. They would not let me check in w/o my credit card even with ID and cash as addd security. I have no wallet, and nowhere to stay. They have literally taken my money and pushed me out into the cold. I'm mortified that their management would be so disrespectful and show such disregard for their prepaid customers. They have my card on file, and additional collateral and have no interest in providing a solution or finding me a room. The room I've paid for is sitting empty, and in sitting in their lobby writing this with nowhere to go.

I stayed here this past weekend when I went to the Raptors game. Close to the subway station which then takes you right down to Union Station. Avoids having to drive all the way into downtown and pay $$$ hotel prices in the core. As for the hotel, doesn't look like much from the outside right now. I believe this hotel just re-branded, so they are in the process of updating the exterior. As for inside, the hotel was new and clean. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. All you need to ask from a hotel. We didn't use the pool or fitness centre, but both looked modern and clean. One tip for the hotel...I know Best Western Plus don't offer complimentary breakfast, but you could offer tea, along with the coffee that you do offer in the lobby. I would stay here again.

stayed at Best Western in North York for a week for medical. Extremely satisfied with the customer service we recieved. Staff went above and beyond to assist us always with a smile. Rooms were very clean. beds were comfortable. pool area was clean and a great to relax in. Would definitely go back.

I'm not sure if the hotel is under renovation or what, but that was not adequately communicated or reflected in the price, and the hotel looks like it is in terrible condition. I actually stopped when I got to the parking lot to make sure I had the right place because I wasn't sure if the hotel was about to be demolished or something. The amenities are decent, but parts of doorknobs and fixtures were coming loose throughout the hotel. My heater would only work intermittently, and the drywall in some parts looked like it was cheaply patched up in places.

Just want to say I love everything about that motel, the people working there and good service as always :) I would tell people about this place good prices good people working and also good food :) cleaness is not bad, wish I had a bath and fans in the room. But over all its awesome .

Typically, you cannot beat Best Western for value. With excellent amenities at a very reasonable price, I find this hotel chain to be my favourite. This hotel is no exception. The staff were very courteous and pleasant and we had no problems during our stay.

Stayed overnight to do some shopping at Vaughn mills the following day. Welcomed by very strong air deodorizing sprays but friendly staff at check in. Room was small but clean and had a comfortable bed. The major issue however was the shower - appeared to be newly installed tubs. When getting in the shower we realized that there was a seal issue with the new tubs and under the bottom of the tub there was a very large amount of water sloshing around. The entire bottom of the tub felt like a water bed - no drinks needed to feel drunk trying to stand in this tub. It was so bad we took a video to show the front desk where they said they would get on the issue. I suggest they do so quickly before all that water makes its way through the ceiling and that tub falls through to the next floor. Quite an experience.

Dutifully responding to countless promotional emails from Best Western, I signed up--or so I thought—for the “Book 2 Nights, Get 1 Free” promotion in North York. This was confirmed at the front desk when I arrived (my motto? “Always check the fine print”), before going up the sixth floor. The hotel is going through a massive renovation, but the construction noise was never really a problem. What was annoying was the small army of fruit flies that that were too fast to be sent to their great reward. The microwave--for the first time in my considerable experience--refused to heat anything, much less my frozen entrée. Once the maintenance engineer arrived, we soon realized that the machine's menu choices where placebos: only setting the time would kindle the heat. Insult led to injury when, at 4:30 a.m. (early train to catch), I discovered no “free” night on the bill. Front desk couldn't help (“Call the manger on Monday”—no managers work weekends…), nor could Best Western's head office. It's just another case of being “rewarded” has no meaning.

Very nicely renovated... a nice surprise because the outside looked dark and dreary and torn apart with construction. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast at a reasonable price. We paid about 10$ each for a nice full breakfast. Quick and easy service . I found the nightly rate a little high. Could have booked online a little cheaper but it was a last minute walk in and didn't really have time to search more. Holiday in next door was cheaper but sold out. But other than that the hotel was very nice. Beds comfy and room was clean. Not the greatest area to find a good restaurant though ... lots of fast food nearby. Very nice staff.

the shuttle service to and after we returned was very good the shuttle was prompt and the driver very helpful to us.we would stay there again, the pub resturant was very good with good prices and service.

While the staff are generally good and friendly, the hotel is still under renovation (exterior). The interior is OK but can be cleaner. While I did not use the restaurant, but the look of it is dull and not appealing.

Exceptional hotel experience and customer service. From check-in to check-out the front desk staff did everything possible to make my stay the most enjoyable. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I can honestly highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. It has everything you need (restaurant, lounge, swimming pool, hot tub...) It's just minutes away from the yorkdale subway station. The night rate is cheap compared to hotels in the downtown area. I highly recommend it.

So please was undergoing some renovations, which is great it does need some updating or refreshing. Our room was a bit small we had just a double of course we could have got a bigger one but not sure our double was worth the price, the tub has a spongy type flooring so was a bit awkward, be careful! The bathroom vanity area was nice and spacious, there was a big tv so that was very nice, the bed however pretty uncomfortable that was a huge bummer waking up sore, especially after walking around wonderland, that's why we chose this hotel it was short distance from wonderland, it had free coffee and a restaurant we did not eat in. The pool was nice, pretty clean area could use some refeahing, nicer sitting areas, the hot tub was pretty big had some nice jets coulda been a bit hotter though, one of the pool ladders was missing a step, but there were towels available in the area, the staff was friendly and the lobby was nicely decorated. Overall decent stay besides the bed, uggh

While the hotel is currently under construction....appears to be the exterior, there was no major inconvenience. Room was clean and comfortable and the front desk service was great! The hotel restaurant had good food at surprisingly reasonable prices! I will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Best Western the night before surgery and I stayed for 2 nights after. An excellent experience as always. We have stayed multiple times and this hotel is close to everything. The front desk gave us an excellent room and we enjoyed the stay

We booked the trip in about a month advance and upon arrival there was mobile equipment everywhere. A very unprofessional crew doing the work and the staff was not helpful at all minus one man. The restraint staff was on a bare minimum communication level and the draft beer had expired

We stayed at this hotel twice during our three week vacation in Ontario and Quebec. Our first stay lasted one week and then, after going to Montreal and Ottawa, returned here for two more days prior to flying home. Clearly we like the place! These are the features we liked which drew us back: the pool/hot tub area; the laundry facility; the adjoining restaurant/lounge; its accessibility to major thoroughfares; the large parking lot; its general cleanliness despite ongoing renos which are not overly intrusive; and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

Was looking for a hotel in downtown Toronto. A miscommunication led us to this otherwise perfectly reasonable BW hotel that was WWAAYY outside of town. Thanks to a friendly local couple, we survived the stay and were able to get downtown to our next train connection, but be sure you understand that it is NOT suitable for a tourist thinking that the place is in Toronto proper.

Amazing hotel. Clean and comfortable. Quick check in. Restaurant for breakfast was great. I highly suggest staying there. I will be back for sure. Already planning our next trip with our daughter this time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent 2night stay. The breakfast at the attached restaurant was good and reasonable. Room was sparkling clean and well decorated. My husband and I will definitely stay again! Absolutely recommend

We were in Toronto for a family wedding. Proximity to the 400/401 was a necessity. Hotel was under some renovations but it was lovely. It will be a compliment to the chain when completed. Staff in both check-in and restaurant were fantastic! Food was delicious and very reasonable price for a hotel restaurant. Will definitely stay again next time we are in the city.

Attached to the much more expensive Sheraton Centre, with all of the same amenities. Plethora of excellent restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to Hwy 404. Plenty of free parking. Rooms have been nicely renovated. Walkin glass showers replacing a tub that no one uses.

We always stay at the Best Western North York when visiting Toronto. The staff here is so friendly and efficient. They give great service with always a smile. The hotel is always being properly maintained with refurbishing and upgrades which is always welcome to see. It is clean and well kept. And good value considering it is Toronto and accessible to Toronto's many attractions. We will continue to use this hotel and highly recommend it.

Clean hotel and room, very quiet location of our room, the food was very good , the staff was very helpful and smiling. Went downtown Toronto by car Waze application was very helpful to beat the traffic coming back to the hotel. Was a wonderful stay at BW North York...

I very happy with this location, it's close the major hwy, the place it's clean, very efficient staff. there's quite few thinks you can do. they have an indoor swimming pool, the staff it's super nice.

over all a nice hotel, the rooms were nice and the staff great. the lighting in the lobby and halls were very glaring and uncomfortable to the eyes. the rooms were poor lighting except the bathrooms which well lighted.

I had stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and the reason for choosing this hotel and location was tits proximity to YorkU where I had to drop off my son for his under grad program. We had a comfortable stay and the staff at the hotel went out of their way to do things to make our stay a memorable one!

Close proximity to York, clean and handy. Not many food options except Montana's or East Side Mario's, but the hotel restaurant is very good. It's hard to find recycling bins at this hotel. The staff are wonderful.

The picture of the lobby is the nicest, most accurate picture of this hotel. Our room was full of black mould on the ceilings and in between the tile grout. The room smelt of stale cigarette smoke. This was the most disappointing hotel that my family has stayed in over the last year especially with the price. The only decent part of this hotel was the food at the attached restaurant.

I was a guest at this hotel this past week an endures something beyond terrible. On the first night of check in the front desk agent gave my room key to someone an that person attempted to enter my room while I was sleeping at 4am. The front desk didn't call upstairs to verify. They put my life in danger. The only thing that stopped me from getting injured or attacked was the top latch if I didn't use it that person would have been able to fully enter my room. I was awaken by the sound of someone trying to enter the from ! Shortly after the front desk called an stated they gave they key to someone who said they are staying with me. I had to telll them I have no additional person. It's been three days since the incident an I've asked to speak to the manager and was given the run around. The cops came an took my statement. An to this day no manger has spoken to me apart from the restaurant supervisor. Today I get a knock on the room door saying I need to leave the hotel because they don't think it's safe for me. Might I add I paid for my entire stay of four night. To top it off the front desk guy named Gary made it seem like it was my fault someone Tried to enter my room. He even went on to say “ but you won't injures or died it's not that serious” Guys beware. These hotels are not safe !

Not impressed with hotel. Went in my room to find out I had not hot water. Waited for 2 hours for someone to fix it. Could not be fixed. Was not offered a new room until I said I was leaving. Went to work the next day, got back to the room at 5 PM only to find not towels in the room. Called for towels and had to wait 1.5 hours.....

My family and I just finished a two night stay at the BW+ in North York. This heated pool is the first time that I truly felt comfortable with a pools temperature upon entry, like this pool. The hot tub is just as wonderful! Stayed with my wife, my daughter and my daughter's friend. We had a very nice time. The only downfalls I had was the exterior of the building was being renovated, which caused us not to be able to park where we would have (not holding that against the hotel - they are at least putting forth the efforts to improve). The other downfall was they don't serve breakfast, which for the room price, a continental breakfast would have been great.

We had the 2 room suite with 2 bathrooms - first time we've ever had that! It was clean, other than the bedroom TV remote - there were gross brown splatters on it. The couch in the living room area was the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel room. The food and prices in the restaurant were pretty good - we ordered it to go. Now for the problem... There was an incident with our car in the parking lot - someone was in it, messed with the fuse box, and drained the battery. I know there was someone in it because they left behind brand new earbuds in the driver seat. When I reported it and asked if there were cameras (there aren't), one employee just kept saying how weird it was and the other behaved as though I were making it up. I asked them to call up to the room to let my husband know so he could come down but they said he was on the phone. I explained that that was incredibly unlikely. They tried again and said yep, he's on the phone - again using a tone that suggested I was wrong. (I later found that the phone in our room didn't even work.) The maintenance man did attempt to jump the car off but it didn't work. Thankfully, I have AAA (CAA) and they arrived quickly and got us up and running. The whole situation was very off-putting and didn't make for a great first impression for our first trip out of the USA.

Great staff, very clean rooms wow. We had a problem with the flush of the toilet, we told them and left for the day. When we were back they had repaired it(they put a new one). They have free Wi-Fi, a pool and a hot tub too.

Rooms very dingy and dated. Broken chair and lights didn't work. Left some items in the room upon checkout and never did get a response from housekeeping as to whether the items were found. Manager seemed uninterested in solving the problem. Would not stay here again. Also, Hotel is in violent area of Toronto. We were advised by police to not walk alone at night.

Stayed there for a couple of nights with my partner. We had stayed at a Best Western in Edmundston NB and really liked it there so we decided to try this one. When we arrived we both noticed that the building needed work from the outside but figured it may still be nice on the inside. Our first morning there, an alarm went off at 7:30 am, we think it was the fire alarm but as my partner went down to the lobby to see what was going on, no one seemed worried. As we were already up we figured we get some breakfast so we went to the restaurant next to the lobby where it was raining inside. That day the same alarm that had gone off in the morning went off in the afternoon for unknown reasons. In addition, the walls are very thin so if anyone walks past your room, you can hear their conversations and you could have a conversation from your room with the person in the washroom in your room. The AC in the room was also very loud. The staff was all friendly but due to the state of the building, we will not be staying there again.

Went to wonderland. Visited the pool several times never any towels, bring your own!!! We asked for some it took over and hour to get them. But what really upset me was my daughter left her old cell phone in the room and we are 6 plus hours away, she uses it to take photos. So it's value is nil but it's special to her. I called and asked them to mail it back to us they refused. I offered to pay them. They still refused. It would have taken 5 minutes out of someone's day and $1 worth of stamps to make a little girl super happy but they simply refused to mail us back the phone and suggested we have a friend pick it up. I know no one in Toronto so it's not possible. Very disappointed w their customer service.

Stayed there for 5 nights for a family vacation. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The second morning of our stay, we took our kids to the pool. It opened at 7am, it was about 8:30am and only two other people were there with us. The pool area was FILTHY. The floor was dirty, there was multiple large clumps of hair on the floor. The water in both the hot tub and the pool was very cloudy. We left and did not go back. I've never seen a pool in that state.

We stayed at this hotel last summer and all was fine. I don't know if there has been a change in ownership or what, but everything has gone down hill. The room was a typical room on the ground floor. When we looked out the patio door, we saw construction equipment working on the upper floor (styrofoam raining down and noisy). I know work needs to get done, but maybe close off a portion of the hotel for a day or two to get it done and don't inconvenience the guests. My wife rinsed out a shirt in the sink and spilled a bit of water on the floor in the bathroom, when she wiped it up, the cloth was filthy! The shower in the morning was luke warm with very little pressure. We were in room 124 and someone in either 122 or 120 was smoking very skunky marijuana and the hallway stunk. Overall, not a great stay and our last one at this hotel.

Fast courteous service! Employees a delight to deal with! The only downside was the t.v. channels were unavailable due to a storm and never came back again! The restaurant menu had a lot of choices for all different types of meals.

Room seemed small but overall was fine. Beds are usual hard hotel beds but the pillows were nice and soft. Wish there was more outlets near the beds as it was inconvenient to sit at desk to be on you phone while charging after a long day. Hotel changed their satellite package during our stay and only half the channels worked for the last 2 days of our stay. At least that is what they told us when we complained that channels that worked the day before and now they don't. They didn't offer a solution besides tough luck. That was a disappointment as there wasn't much to choose from besides news/sports stations when that happen. Pool area was great. Hot tub was hot and the pool water was warm too. Restaurants attached was pricey. I didn't realize that they didn't have free continental breakfast like other Best Western hotels but made do by buying g cereal and milk to keep in the room. Overall, the hotel was conveniently located to Canada's Wonderland and clean.

CLEan room but with breakfast not included made the price a little iffy. Close to food and transit. Would come Back. Pool was clean. Bar staff was amazing. Paula was helpful, friendly and down to earth. She knew Toronto and was able to help us out.

Where do I start? Other than to say we will NEVER frequent this Best Western Plus (BWP) again. Although we stay at BWP exclusively, this location was a very poor example of what Best Western properties represent and have to offer to their loyal customers. Here are a few reasons why this BWP is severely lacking: wobbly chairs with missing screws (they eventually brought us a second one that was bent and listed to one side, and after 2 days of waiting, a third was finally provided which was fine), only two pitifully small drawers for clothes, a laughable 2' x 2' area that they called a closet covered with a curtain, two ice machines that did not work during our stay (only the lobby one was operational), both our room keys were deactivated four days into our stay and they had no idea why, there was nowhere to hang towels if you didn't want them washed to conserve energy, no ‘do not disturb' sign upon check-in, and it took 3 days to fix a low battery light on the thermostat. One of 2 elevators was out of service the last day we were there and usually there was either no complimentary hot coffee in the lobby or either the cream or sugar needed replacing. And speaking of lobby…it was under construction the entire time we were there! The only ‘silver lining' in this property is their restaurant Elements and the staff working in this restaurant. Kudos to them for their exceptional service!!

Hotel under the reconstruction, falls advertisement with a nice picture lobby. Stuff in reception not very pleasant, dust everywhere, gym disaster, pool beside lobby which had going drill all the time, so not relaxing at all.Not relyable room service Rooms better, bed linen cheap and uncomfortable, wrinkled and grey. Would not recommend this hotel for some times until they get act together.

This was our hotel After Canadas wonderland . The front is under construction, but rooms were clean and pool was nice! Hot tub was super hot! Staff was amazing went above and beyond ! The hydro went out during our stay (not the hotels fault) but it sucked!!!!! We have a complimentary breakfast in the attached restaurant and it was good , I felt like there was a major language barrier between the server and our orders so it got messed up , but she was super sweet and kind. Clean place , construction was loud and rooms were on the smaller side .

Hotel is under renovations. We stopped here on our honeymoon on our way to Toronto and we were not pleased with strong smoke smell, mildew smell, and lobby under construction. Rooms are dated with wallpaper flaking off walls and water stains on ceiling. Staff was courteous and made strides to move us from or original room to a new location, though new room reeked still of mildew and was also still dated and needing some TLC.

Lobby area was under construction, staff at the reception seems to not have basic politeness, kidness awareness. Clients are not at the center of service. I would not recomend any of my friends to stay in this hotel.

Arrived, the whole front area and lobby is a mess, being torn up, stuff from offices piled up, dust and junk in the 'lobby' (gutted out space with nothing in it!) and hallways. No signs saying 'pardon our appearance' or indicating something's under construction. No apology from front desk manager who said he had no idea what they were doing, why it was like that! For $180?!! Won't come here again.

The room was nice and cozy ,everything was good except children in the hall after 10pm running up and down the hall.Did report to manager they did handle the situation. Our room was on the small side but we was just there for convenience and sleep.

The hotel was clean and the staff very welcoming. The restaurant is quite lovely with an outside patio as well. The pool was good. The only issue was staff wouldn't help with luggage cart which was difficult to maneuver

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and arranged for a taxi for us to get to the Hospital. We had a very clean and spacious room. It was so good to have a restaurant on the premises. The food choices were good and so were the prices.

My son and I stayed at this hotel for one night in May 2019. We got an early check in which was great but the lobby floor was being laid so the lobby and front entrance was a bit of a mess. We grabbed lunch on property at Elements. Lunch was good. The property is close to the highway, additional restaurants and shopping. The property also had plenty of free parking. The room was on the small side and was a bit dated. The room did not have any USB plugs but WiFi was free and had a large TV with for fee movies. The bed was comfortable and I got a good night sleep. The in ground pool and hot tub was nice also.

If I did not enjoy staying at this hotel I would not return. I love my stay. The staff at the front desk are friendly and always smiling, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable and a nice large screen TV.. I always recommend it to my friends..

This hotel is my first choice when staying in Toronto. Great location for hitting the highway in the AM. 5 mins from shopping and food! Staff is excellent and rooms are clean and comfortable. Nick always does my bookings. He is terrific and efficient!

I stay at this hotel frequently. I am always impressed by the improvements they are continually making. From improvements in the rooms with better lighting in the bathroom and improved dryers to the hallways. Now they are improving the lobby. I can't wait to see it when it is finished. I did not use the restaurant this visit, however, I met someone in the elevator who asked about places in the area that you could pick up something to eat and I suggested the restaurant. I have always had great experiences. The soups are outstanding.

I stayed over for 3 nights. The hotel is under restauration in the reception area so be ready ! The room was ok, quite spacious and seemed adequately clean. Wifi was good. The breakfast (complimentary if booked) is very restricted so don't expect any continental type breakfast. Staff was polite and friendly. Not much in the area so need to move around.

This hotel has responsive staff, but it is so mismanaged that there is no effective channel for communicating concerns of comfort or threats to safety. I communicated the following details to the manager, Nick, and he seemed to think all of what follows is within standard expectations for his property. He offered no apology or reasonable recourse. In my short stay, I experienced: a youth hockey team playing loudly and boisterously in the hallway, for hours at a time, often blocking and playing/sitting against the door of my room. The parents were just as obtrusive. A pack of youth, ranging from toddlers to teenagers, running the hallways, riding the luggage carts, and throwing balls and other objects at walls and doors. Adults (seemingly the parents of these kids) drinking alcohol and roaming the hallway, with doors to their rooms open. The adults and kids paid no attention to the efforts of the staff to respond to my concerns. The behavior didn't get any better. In fact, the behavior began to target my room specifically, and individuals from this group began to shout through my door and stole two Do Not Disturb signs off of my door handle. I was told later this was all one large group and that my discomfort was basically my own fault because I wasn't part of that group and I shouldn't have stayed on "their" floor. I had no say in what room I stayed in, so I'm still not sure what manager Nick meant that I shouldn't have stayed on "their" floor. Nick's lack of concern and his staff's inability to affect the wild behavior add up to a property that travellers should avoid.

We arrived at 10PM after a difficult day and looked forward to some time on the treadmill to burn up nervous energy. Imagine our dismay to find that the fitness room CLOSES AT 11PM...and even more irrationally doesn't open until 7AM. We travel a lot, cannot always get in before a late hour. To be ready to sleep, we often like to get on the treadmill or other equipment for a while. So, we always book a location with a fitness room. We have not encountered a fitness room with such limited and irrational hours. In fact, we cannot think of a fitness room we've seen in a hotel recently that does not let a guest access it 24/7 as long as s/he has a room key. But it gets worse: we asked the staff WHY the fitness room closes so early and opens so late. They said it was a management decision. We said, okay, but WHY? The fitness room is well lit, has extensive windows to show how many people are using it, it's located just off the public rooms, and has the TV blasting even when it is closed. Futhermore, you can enter ONLY with a room key. So WHY are the hours so limited? Again, the answer is....that it is a management decision. Well, management....here's what we're telling everyone who reads this: DON'T come to this facility. Who knows what other 'management' decisions will adversely impact you when you least expect it...with no explanation of WHY?

I would highly recommend this Best Western Hotel as it is well kept and clean. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The hotel is always being kept up to date with renovations. The restaurant is a great place for breakfast with great service and food. It is our hotel of choice when visiting Toronto

My family and I stayed for one night upon check in, there's was lots of parking. It is also located next to a police station so that was nice. Staff were very friendly and service for check in was quick and easy. I was provided with guidance on pool location, vending machines and the restaurant. The lobby was open and welcoming. When we went to our room however there were a few issues. As soon as we entered I smelled urine, which I found a small amount next to the toilet on the floor. Honestly the hotel is large and things can be missed from time to time. On that note there was a small stain on the one beds sheets. And the beds are very firm. Back to the good stuff, the pool was great my kids loved it. Staff was very quick when I asked for extra blankets(which I have to give huge credit for as they were very nice blankets). The room had on demand movies and the hotel was quiet for the night. Check out was easy and overall a pleasant stay.

This is our third stay at this hotel and is our stop over before flying out from Pearson, approx. 10 min away. Fast check in, very clean hotel that offers great value for your money. Restaurant is okay with limited choices. Would recommend this hotel to my friends.

If your travels take you to northern Toronto (North York), this is a fairly priced, centrally located hotel. It is right off the 400 and allows easy access in and out of the area. There are very few amenities to the hotel itself, but it is very fairly priced for the hotel. I was surprised, however, that a Best Western Plus did not offer a basic continental breakfast - which is generally offered at this hotel chain.

Excellent stay, well organized hotel. I am not disappointed at all. I have been using Best Western Plus hotel for a long time and I have never regret it. I love their services.God bless best western hotel . More grace to your elbow

This hotel was clean and the pool was so warm my child loved it. The service in the restaurant was a little slow but the staff were very nice and polite. The only complaint was trying to check in early before three after the 11AM check outs. The front desk instead of politely telling me there were no rooms ready snapped at me. The next check in quy was great though.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly . The restaurant was ok. prices are reasonable, food was good. Service could have been better at the restaurant. Hotel Service was great, We stayed for 2 nights and they cleaned our room while we were gone.

Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff. The location suited us as we were in town to visit York University which was very close by. Free parking was appreciated and the WiFi was working fine. Cons: The Best Western brand is one that I associate with “breakfast included” . This location is an exception. They do have a full service restaurant that offers all meals. Coffee maker in room had coffee but no whitener. It didn't seem like it was refreshed by the housekeeping staff prior to our arrival. Not a big deal but an annoyance. The TV remote didn't work at all. We had it exchanged for one with the front desk which also didn't work at all, so we tried to watch a bit manually which was a nuisance. At check out the front desk was short staffed as someone didn't show up to work. The gentleman working was pleasant and kind but was clearly overwhelmed by his morning demands. Overall impression: Fairly priced, comfortable sleep. No extras.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean, great parking space. The great surprise was the food at the restaurant. It was excellent. The staff at the restaurant was friendly and accomodating. I was there several days and they remembered me after the first visit. Thank you.

They are updating the Hotel. It is far from Down Town so if you are visiting for Down Town this is not a good spot.It is close to great shopping though. Check in was great no problems. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a King Room and it had 2 bathrooms.Yes 2 bathrooms. I would reccomend this property.

The only drawback is that the hotel is distant from tourist attractions especially downtown. I liked that,the rooms were clean and staff was hospitable. I think there is a vending machine on each floor. It is worth your stay and money.

Just a quick review about this hotel, stayed for 4 nights in February and highly recommend it for the price and comfort. It's about 40 mins outside the city but is easily reachable by bus and then subway. Special mention to front desk staff who were more than helpful when it came to recommending buses to Niagara and downtown.

Many trips I have taken in the last several months almost always consists of kids. The last one was a post Valentines Day night away. Away from the kids and pressure of work, yet location was perfect to get to and close enough for my boyfriend to be able to get ready for work the next day and get back to the hospital as he starts at 5:00 AM. We were welcomed back as soon as we walked thru the door. Staff is very friendly. This site is always clean and well maintained. Beds are comfy and we enjoyed our mini night away. When i was checking out I was asked the usual questions, how was your stay etc.. I told the supervisor this is the perfect location and out of all the BW in the area I always choose this one. He said well if you find something you like, you have to stick with it, experiment later. I said no thanks, this one is great service and a very clean place I'm good .LOL

Parking lot no snow removal. No salting or sanding. It was slippery. They hold a lot of money on credit cards 4 nights they held $750.Plastic cups and glasses in the rooms. Rooms are average, hygienic average, access to 401 and 400. Yorkdale mall, Jane finch mall,

Due to snow storm after coming back from a trip to Costa Rica, we decided to stay at the Best Western Plus due to its proximity to highway 400 North which was my route home and we wanted to leave early the next morning. The hotel is very clean and modern looking and we were greeted cheerily by the clerk. We arrived around 1 pm and though check in is at 3 pm... he let us in. (At a different hotel chain we were asked for. $20 early check in fee). The room was spacious and clean with a very modern bathroom. Each bed had 4 pillows and were comfy. We had a corner room on the fourth floor . The pool looked inviting but we were just ready to snuggle in during the storm. There were plenty of shampoo and conditioners in single serve plastic bottles. Sometimes I wish newer hotels used refillable dispensers in the shower to avoid plastic usage. The shower was nice with interchangeable streams of water but the water pressure was slightly less than strong. The hotel has a restaurant attached which was nice and you get a 15% discount when you stay at hotel. The breakfast was good and plentiful. We would return here again due to its access to Hwy 400 near Finch

The staff are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very convenient and the discount for guests makes it a great choice for dining in. Proximity to the airport, highway and university makes it our favourite place to stay when we visit.

The food in the restaurant was excellent. The pool and hot tub were very nice. I have one small complaint, the pillows on the beds were way too large. Hard to sleep when your head is on a 45 degree angle. Other than that, it was a beautiful Hotel

Despite being outside of town, access by public transport is extremely easy. Once there we found the hotel very welcoming with coffee offered when we arrived. The room was clean and had all the amenities expected and the staff were exceptionally helpful.

On Arrival the staff was amazing, we felt very welcomed throughout our stay. The atmosphere was nice, and the restaurant had great food. I recommend the fish and chips! We enjoyed our stay, and will be back for sure! Highly recommend this place.

Very kind and nice staff, usually the check in at 3:00 pm arrived earlier to the city and gave the reception a call and i was told that my room is ready. Very fast processing to check in and out, clean and quiet..... highly recommend it

Great Hotel - Interiors and exteriors well maintained. Location is easy to find. Clean and spacious rooms. But check in staff could have been better as its the first impression.We had a late arrival after 12 am - doors were locked my wife tried to enter but couldn't. The Night front Desk staff opened the door and Say " How many times should I mention; you need your room keys to enter. I can't just keep an eye on the door". We understand that he was busy but we haven't even checked in yet - how would we suppose to have a key ? that was unacceptable. We couldn't report this to the desk while check out as we had to rush for our schedule appointment.Its a great hotel but this incident affected our stay.

From walking in to departure I was provided with an excellent hotel experience. My room was surprisingly quiet and spacious which allowed me to unpack and organize my stuff easily. The staff, especially on the desk were excellent, knowledgeable and helpful. James Chabot even contacted the BW Europa in Montreal chasing up my glasses which I believed I had accidentally left behind. He thrnvreliabiey emailed my thevresults if his inquiries.

This hotel is consistent in service and quality. Staff is what makes it special. You can get a room anywhere, but the people you have make the difference. They are accommodating, friendly and always professional.

spent our wedding night here and everything was perfect , cant say enough about how kind and friendly the staff is and how clean and nice the hotel was. We are planning another stay in the near future because my wife has cravings for the Food from Elements restaurant within the hotel.

This hotel must be a newer build or they take great care of it, the room was very nice and comfortable and clean the hotel was very nice very modern inside staff was friendly. Only thing when i was there only one elevator worked so I pretty much just used the stairs from the 3rd floor

We have travelled much and have noticed in the last couple of years that when we end up in a hotel where a sports team has been booked, there is a huge lack of respect for other paying guests who might need their sleep. They are teenagers or pre-teens, so a large part of this is on the parents or chaperones, who are usually having their own party and are oblivious. I find this type of disruption to be completely unacceptable, especially when I see the non-discounted-for-the-inconvenience-of-lack-of-sleep charge on my credit card bill.

I checked into the hotel after having a lousy day and I was truly lucky enough to have been checked in by a very friendly and helpful young lady named Kavita She was very helpful and informative but mostly she made me feel welcome and appreciated and because of how she represented the hotel I have extended my stay and I hope I will be lucky enough to see and talk to her again. It's so hard to retain and develop good talent and I hope her manager reads this because she is special and would be well worth the investment. Thank you again Kavita Allan

I knew it was going to be fun staying here the moment I stepped up to the front desk. Very clean, very and helpful place. Nice, clean room and a super friendly, helpful staff. A special thank you to Allison for going that extra mile. I am not sure if I am reviewing the correct Best Western Plus. The one I stayed at was on Norfinch.

Check in was very miserable to begin with.. then..after staying here with my family, and my daughter threw a fit around checkout time. We ended up being 20 mins late to check out, the staff were extremely rude and wanted to charge us an extra fee. They kept reminding us check out time is 11.. like yes I realize and I apologized. We tried to use a gift card, and it wasn't working, they were upset that we wouldn't just pay for the room and forget about the card.. After an hour on the phone with management we were able to leave with the original rate, couldent use our card until another stay... we will not stay here again.

Stayed for two nights. I had a first floor room with a king bed and large sitting area. The room was spotless and included fridge and microwave. I did not use the pool or the workout room but they looked good and were not crowded. The attached restaurant provided good bar food and a couple beers both nights, but I was very disappointed that the restaurant does not open until 8:00 on weekends which was too late for me so didn't get the free breakfast that was supposed to be included. I was in Toronto for a youth hockey tournament and this voteless is quite convenient to the Chesswood and Scotia Bank Pond rinks. I am returning again next weekend and hope to have another good stay.

Our two night stay allowed us to spend the day in Kleinberg at the McMichael Art Gallery. The hotel was easy to access via Hwy 407 and was less than 30 minutes from the gallery, which was perfect. The room was clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly and efficient. There is no breakfast included but there is an attached restaurant that provides a 15% discount to hotel guests.Speaking of the restaurant, we had two dinners there and the food was good at reasonable prices, but the atmosphere could be rethought I think. The brightly lit space with the high ceiling suggests a diner, but the ubiquitous wall-mounted flat screen televisions reminds one of a sports bar, yet the menu is better than both of these. With no other eatery withing walking distance I guess the decision was made to try to please everyone.Note that the hotel does not provide an EV charging station(s), which was a disappointment.

Had a comfortable stay at the BW + Toronto York Hotel & Suites. Good coffee making machine in room, but I don't drink coffee so more tea in the room would help, along with instructions on how to actually use the machine (I had to show my work colleague). I left a note for the room 'cleaner' to request more tea instead of coffee (I don't like coffee), which was thankfully provided but the following day the extra tea was taken away and replaced with the standard coffee provision (perhaps a different cleaner or I should have left a reminder note). Comfortable bed and pillows and good bathroom with citrus smelling shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Unfortunately, unlike some other hotels I have been to, there was no complimentary continental breakfast, but you can purchase a good breakfast at the onsite restaurant. Hotel has a smallish pool, hot tub and fitness suite, didn't use them so can't really comment on them, but other people were using them. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The lobby has a continuous supply of complimentary coffee in flasks but unfortunately no tea, this was disappointing for me. The hotel is quite a distance from the nearest metro station, probably 1-1.5 miles, there are passing buses but I didn't use these, so not sure where they were headed. Nearby there are a couple of shopping malls. The hotel was absolutely fine and well maintained, but possibly better suited to folks travelling with a car and this is simply because of the location.

The hotel is very clean, has a great restaurant and fitness centre. The staff we encountered were very helpful, providing us tips for Uber service and things to do in the city. They were all professionally friendly and made one feel welcome from the moment one walks in the door. The rooms have a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Internet service is fast and the furniture is quite comfortable.

I found the location great for us. Its close to the highway and has just been remodeled. The area is not the best but it is only a short drive to every amenity you might hope for.Excellent shopping and places to eat. The management will gladly direct you anywhereto fill your needs.

Stayed at the Best Western during a conference I attended at York. Good location, easy to get in and out of. Will be my go to when visiting the area. Only downside is restaurant attached to hotel is horrible, but hotel was good.

Dear Best Western @ 50 Norfinch Drive Toronto Ontario So today has to be the Catalyst of horrendous customer service. How cold and heartless can one company and its representatives be! I am now without a room due to a billing error on my credit card from another hotel and cannot get a refund or even to be able to use another form of payment in lieu of even with the outstanding circumstances surrounding my the third party company Priceline even graciously understood and ultimately on my behalf tried to get them to agree to a one time cancellation so I may try to go to another hotel and have a a roof over my head for the night. But no the manager on duty was unwavering and relentless when it came to trying to . It's is 9:10 pm on thanksgiving Sunday in the rain and now I have to find other accomodations while losing out on the money I already prepaid to book this room. In 2018 hotels should and most do now accept Debit , Visa Debit or Mastercard Debit to be utilized for holds I think Best Western should follow suit. As well as case by case basis that they can allow people in similar situations to not just be left in the cold. I made the reservation only 10 hours ago, and now it's become my biggest regret. I usually frequent comfort inn and quality inn and I think I'll stick to what's familiar from now on because this is utterly disappointing.

We often stay in Best Western hotels because we can generally depend on the brand to be a decent room for a reasonable price. This hotel is no exception. It is not the Ritz, but it was clean and comfortable. The front desk folks were great. The room did not come with a free breakfast, but there is a restaurant attached to the lobby. The food was good, and not too expensive. A metro/subway station is maybe a mile away. Easy parking, and easy subway access for going downtown. (We recommend the subway instead of trying to drive in Toronto traffic.)

Picked this hotel as it was recommended by Canada's Wonderland, it may be the closest hotel to the park(?) but to say it was "close" is a joke. It is possible to take transit to Canada's Wonderland from the hotel, but its convoluted. Canada's Wonderland expects you to drive and pay their $22/day parking.Travelling to downtown was good by transit - still an hour away, but it was better than driving and paying for parking. I think it was good value for the quality of hotel and pleasant, helpful staff. I didn't mind the commute, but some of my family would have preferred to pay more for a hotel closer to town. We had a rental car for part of our stay and appreciated the no charge parking.The immediate location of the hotel isn't awe-inspiring, but it is a short distance from shopping, transit and highway access is around the corner. Best suited for the traveller with a car. I felt safe in the neighbourhood even though it was more commercial than one might expect.The hotel definitely met my expectations for a Best Western and they are still my go-to hotels.

Very pleased with this hotel, close to transit options, bus/subway and a mall within easy walking distance for shop/groceries. and easy access to Hwy 400. I would stay here again without question. The room were very clean and bed was comfortable.

We came to Toronto.. weren't planning on spending the night but very glad that we did the whole experience with this hotel was wonderful from the minute I checked into the minute we left. The front desk staff were amazing very friendly and very helpful. It was Labor Day so the restaurant was closed which was the only thing that I missed because I would have gone down for a drink or dinner and breakfast the next morning other than that overall a great experience

Found this nice hotel hidden in a quaint area north of downtown. Really quite hotel with free parking and a swimming pool. No complaints whatsoever. The staff was pleasant and was quick to say hello on the way in and out. Would definitely recommend. And for safety it is next to a police station.

This hotel is next doors to a police station so felt safe staying there. We walked down to the main street to take bus for a ride to the subway which is convenient. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast wasn't included with our stay, so hopped onto McDonald that isn't too far way on that main street. I used my Best Western points so didn't have to pay for the room.

This works out well for us. The subway is a short walk which made it easy to get around. The bed was comfortable but there was a smoke smell in the halls. Nice that the window could be opened. Really good breakfast and good value.

I was a bit worried after booking this hotel for I had heard that this hotel is located in a high crime area of Toronto. I booked because it was close to wonderland and one of the lower cost hotels. The hotel had a good sized pool and hottub. Restaurant on site (no buffet). Room was fine and all needed. My worries were gone once I arrived to see the hotel is right next to a police station . Would stay here or the holiday inn on the other side of the police station again.

We liked the hotel and the staff was accommodating to our change in plans. Liked that it had a couch in the room so had place other than bed to sit on at times. is a good location. close to transportation and close to expressways.. planned it as it was close to Black Creek Pioneer Village we wanted to visit and was close to public transportation. They have a discounted deal with the restaurant next door.

Stayed one night with my family. It was flawless. I did not experience one issue. Pool was great, tons of towels, restaurant looked nice. It was quiet and clean with super fluffy pillows. I have worked in the industry for 20+ years. I will stay here again.

We have stayed here in the past and previously enjoyed it but this time it was horrible. Where to start..first of all our toilet stopped working at least 5 times during our 5 night stay. This was clearly a recurring issue the staff was aware of and each time we told them about it they would fix it temporarily only for it to happen again in less than 24 hours. The toilet in room 420 CLEARLY NEEDS TO BE PERMANENTLY FIXED OR REPLACED. Also, the first night we stayed there was the last night of an EDM festival, and we were put right around several rooms with people obviously going to that festival - they were loud, drinking,etc. As soon as we got to our room and heard the noise coming from the rooms around us I went down and asked to be switched but we were told we couldn't. They need to have a quiet floor or section of the hotel, clearly. There was absolutely no soundproofing (I hope the construction that is going on is to address that) and we could hear everything- people shouting, music, laughing, even talking, until about 2 a.m. when we finally called down and they brought someone up to tell them to be quiet. The ice machine was out of order on at least two of the floors when I went to get ice. The pillows were lumpy and unsupportive. The service in the restaurant where we had breakfast a few days was spotty, had to wait quite a long time for a coffee refill. The bathroom for the restaurant also looked like a scene out of a horror movie. There were lights flickering, stains on several of the wall tiles and one of them was half caved in, it was very broken down looking and clearly not taken care of properly. Half of the toilets were unflushed/couldn't be flushed and also when I went to wash my hands I got scalded by hot water even when I had turned the tap to cold. The one positive was the wifi speed was good. In summary, this hotel's standards have fallen way below our expectations and previous experiences and as there are many other hotels in the area to choose from the next time we come to North York, we will be staying elsewhere unless they address these issues.

The amenities are very good. I did not use the restaurant this trip but when I have, the food is very good. Service in the hotel and the restaurant is always professional and helpful. The renovations are also very nice

We did enjoy our stay and any requests were addressed by the front desk. However when it came to correcting issues the people responsible to correct them were late or forgot to even acknowledge what was wrong. Hence going back to the front desk and gong through the process again. We did experience an power outage twice on the last day of our stay, which is out of their control, yet I thought that it was odd that they did not have any backup emergency lighting in the building with exception to the Exit signs.

The Falkenburg Arms in Coxwold is a gem. Comfortable accomodation, good food, and amazing staff who go the extra mile who made our stay particularly memorable. They could only offer a room with walk in shower for one of our two night stay, but invited us to use the walk in shower in an un-occupied room on the first night at no extra charge.

We had a mixed experience. Plus Side: Staff, room and public area cleanliness, room amenities and ample parking. Minus side: Tight room, little storage space, terrible commute to downtown (90 minutes) and about 1/2 mile to public rail. This would have gotten a higher rating, but like another review I read - The assigned room had a sleeping person in bed when we entered the room. Another room was quickly assigned Good for northern attractions (eg Science Center and Edward's Garden) For downtown attractions I suggest leave at 11AM and return after 8PM.

Our family got a room with two Queen beds, but were still cramped. The beds are about 1 ft. apart and the refrigerator was tiny in the room we booked. A bonus is that there is a cabinet door in front of the refrigerator that you can smack your hand on every 2 seconds. Everyone kept walking into the dresser, which was about 3 ft. from the beds. The pool was decent, with a long pool that goes from 4 ft. deep to 8 ft. deep and a 1 ft. deep hot tub. The pool room was small, and only had chairs for your belongings and a towel shelf. The glass door of the pool room was across from the elevator, and people can see you when you are in the pool from the elevator! The fitness room is small, and only holds a jump rope, two outdated 8-bit cycling machines, and two outdated 8-bit stepping machines, and one out-dated 8-bit treadmill. There is a tiny television in the the fitness room, and the wallpaper and carpet were hideous. I felt extremely cramped and the hotel just felt too populated for me. The bathrooms in the hotel rooms are the only good thing about this hotel. I was disappointed.

We stayed here last week for seven nights, we were on holiday, a long city break in Toronto. This is a lovely hotel, friendly reception staff and restaurant staff. We stayed in a queen room for two nights and a king for five nights (this was due to use changing our plans). Both rooms were spacious, tidy and modern, with a large tv, perfect for watching the England game in bed at 8am! Only used the pool once but it was ok, although there were no towels and it took a while to get some. Ate in the restaurant a few times both for breakfast and evening meals. Very good food, you get 15% off if you are resident. I would recommend the bruschetta for a starter. Excellent. Using public transport it takes exactly an hour to get from the hotel to downtown Toronto (this includes walking to the bus stop), take the 36a bus to Finch West subway station then get on the Southbound train to downtown Toronto. Very friendly and helpful staff at the subway. This information would've been handy before we went so hope it helps someone. Would definitely recommend this hotel even though it's a bit out of the centre.

James at the front desk is a gentlemen and all the staff professional and accommodating. I booked online through Hotels.com because my daughter needed a place today. Passed along the confirmation number to her and figured we were all set. Wasn't thinking about the need for a security deposit credit card as is typical for any check-in. Unfortunately, when my daughter arrived she was very upset and crying as a consequence of an unrelated issue that prompted me to go online and book the room for her so she could have a place to stay. James was a gentleman. He called to tell me he would need some paperwork (pre-authorization visa form and driver's license) from me since I booked the room and would be paying (my daughter didn't have a credit card) but he gave her the room key and let her in without me having to have the paperwork done first. A class Act! I mean, it only took 20 minutes or so by the time he sent me everything, I filled it out, copied and sent it back, but James saw immediately that the right thing to do was to give the young woman her room rather thatn make her sit in the lobby waiting for some paperwork to be done. As for the accommodations, I arrived the next day. We needed a second bed now. I asked to be moved to another room and offered to pay something additional for the change in accommodations and a second bed. James said, no problem sir, put us in another room and said "no additional charge" Nice touch. The following day, my daughter had dance rehearsal all day that would take he until 4:30. Check out time was at noon. James wasn't on duty. Another staff person was at the desk. Regrettably, I can't recall her name but for a small fee of $30, I could remain an additional 3 hours. No problem there. Happy to pay it and relax indoor as I watched Work Cup action. Oh, and the waitress in the kitchen, friendly, professional and the Club Sandwich was excellent. All things being said and done, iI was very pleased with the accommodations, the staff and the experience,

Rated very high for Value. Low cost, but well-executed, easy parking and accessible to major thoroughfares. Room was modern, spotless, well-supplied, staff pleasant and helpful. Restaurant very pleasant. Used for an appointment at Davisville and Yonge, no problem getting there by car (except for usual Toronto gridlock) and way cheaper than a midtown hotel.

Lobby has very harsh lighting when arriving at night - energy efficient bulbs all around the check-in desk - very aggressive. Smell in hotel not great, kind of old and musty but window can be opened in rooms. We were impressed with how well noise levels were low despite party a few doors down (we were on main level with conference room just down the hall). Rooms are small, lighting in room is energy efficient. All in all, good value for the money.

Enjoyable hotel, lots of parking despite being a holiday and was not busy with people. Arrived early and staff were able to give us a room 3 hours ahead of check-in time. Staff are friendly and my family and I had the pool to ourselves! Only complaint is the clogged bathroom drain which was full of hair and was removed by us!! not the staff, and the tub wasn't filling as it should. When reported, staff came to look however was unable to provide any remedy and seemed to shrug it off as though there was no solution.

The already low price includes parking and breakfast, so we were not expecting much when we went into the room. However, the bathroom was modern and the room was clean and tastefully decorated. The bathtub was bubbled up a little on the bottom, but otherwise we had no issues with the room itself. Our room was in the "courtyard style" portion, and the streetlamp kept me awake. Also, breakfast is not until 8 a.m, so that can be a bit of a burden if you are a morning person, such as myself. The location is in walking-distance of the falls and the "main attractions", just be prepared for a hill.

we stayed here in may 2017 (tripadvisor only let me go back til june) for two nights. staff was friendly and the manager seemed to be on duty all time. it's right off the highway. there's not much around but if you take the next exit you'll find the riocan colossus centre with all kinds of stores, restaurants, cinema... to get to toronto, staff suggested driving to finch station which we did. we parked in the west lot and took the 1 train downtown. pretty easy, all together probably 60min, but if we took the car it would have been the same, so we chose less traffic. the rest of the facility looked nice, but we didn't use it. would stay here again.

Great decor, modern, light vibe, nice restaurant, great service:) especially loved the vanities at the hotel, and the soaps/conditioners/towels were all very high quality. Bed was also very comfortable with great smelling sheets.

I have been staying at this hotel now for about 3.5 years. Every month and sometimes twice in a month. People are pleasant and professional. The halls have been re-done recently and are bright and clean. Rooms are comfortable and offer everything I need. Coffee, Iron, Fridge and Microwave. The location is convenient for work and shopping. Really a very good location and value for the accommodation and service you receive.

Not sure what this property looked like before but it appears to have undergone renos and the place looks great. I was only there for a short stay so did not check out all the facilities.Nice bright lobby with desktop computers for guests. The room was fresh with very good lighting. I loved the fact that you could open a window. Bed was so comfortable. Lots of pillows! The room was well appointed with a sizeable fridge and microwave. TV worked great. Wi-fi worked like a charm and there are no limits on the number of devices. Staff were very friendly. Parking was free. Property was easy to find off the 400 north. I ate fish & chips at the coffee shop Element and it was quite tasty. Would definitely stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised! Room was newly renovated. Comfortable and very clean. Facility was very clean overall. We enjoyed our stay! Restaurant was great! We ate breakfast there twice and dinner once. Food was fresh and good quality. Price was VERY reasonable.

Pool and hot tub were excellent. Towels were provided in the pool area. Room was very nice. The café didn't open until 8am though. There was complimentary coffee, no water and no snackable breakfast items for those leaving before 8am.

The hotel was very good, clean rooms and nice swimming pool! The check-in manager was incredibly helpfull in booking other stays at other best western hotels and great at giving information! In general this was a great stay to be repeated!

Stayed overnight on a Monday at this hotel. Booked hotel via Airmiles Blue Card. Cost was 1455 dream miles + $39 Can for King Suite. Hotel was undergoing renovations, however disruptions to guests were kept to a minimum. We were able to check in early, approx 1:30pm on date of arrival. King room on the 4th floor away from elevators and vending machines. Room had separate living room, sofa bed, full bathroom, TV, desk, microwave and mini fridge, coffee maker, as well as heating/cooling unit. Separate bedroom with glass door partition, king bed, TV, closet, full bathroom and heating/cooling unit. Pillows were excellent and bed nice and firm. Overall very comfortable room with sufficient space to relax. Hotel cleans and empties hot tub every Monday so we had to wait till 8-9pm for it to heat up enough to use. It was quite comfortable. Next morning we used it again and it was VERY Hot. Did not try the restaurant, but it looked good with reasonable prices. There was plenty of free parking but due to snow storm, it was a bit slippery and slushy. The hotel has free coffee in the lobby, free newspapers and free WiFi. This is our first trip to this area of Vaughn, did some shopping and eating out. Would recommend this hotel to everyone and would stay again if we are in the area.

Cindy & Nick at the front desk were awesome! King suite with jacuzzi was clean, very large, accessible from parking lot through patio doors. Restaurant was excellent ! Jacuzzi was clean, pool was a little chilly.

We stayed at this hotel last year as it is easy acess off the 400, and fairly close to the airport. We had fast friendly check in and the room was modern and clean. The restaurant was under staffed, but the food was good. Great hotel will stay again on our next vacation

Clean, quiet and close to transit and lots of free easily accessible parking. Getting to downtown Toronto was easy with one bus and a transfer to the Metro. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A very enjoyable place to stay.

The room had a smoke odor even though it was a non-smoking room. Had problems at check in, but the staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Overall rating is average.

Excellent value for a clean, quiet room. Courteous staff - friendly, helpful and kind. We were looking for an affordable option for an overnight in Toronto, and it was an easy hotel to get to. Free parking was a plus, as well.

We chose this Hotel based on price and location to the shops where my daughter had chosen to do prom dress shopping. Hotel room was clean and quiet. Front desk staff were very friendly. There were breakfast specials at the restaurant at the hotel - food was good.

One night stay for 2 people. Location is convenient and easy to find just off Highway 400 at Finch Ave and parking was ample. Easy check-in and out. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Nothing flashy but perfect for what I needed. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here because I didn't want to drive downtown. It is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but if all you need is a good bed and good food, it's a pretty good deal. The bed and bedding were nice. So was the ambiance. The colors. There is a bathtub. Room was perfect for one person but might seem cramped for two. They are renovating but there wasn't an issue with dirt or sound. The restaurant (Element?) was above and beyond. Excellent freshly made carrot soup and a wonderful grilled portobello mushroom/veggie sandwich. The yogurt and fruit parfait was also very good. My only complaint was that the coffeee wasn't ready at 7 am.

This has been our fourth stay at this hotel, and we'll be back on our next visit with our son. We had to make a change at the last minute with playoff hockey games, but the hotel was able to make it work with our room request and with only one change. A big ‘shout out' to Al with our 2nd check-in late last night. We absolutely love our room. Thank you. We love the friendly staff throughout the hotel, and know we'll be back on our next visit to Toronto.

We were in Toronto on a family visit for the weekend. This hotel was near where we having an event. The hotel had been recently renovated and it was excellent. Clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful and the value I got for what I paid was excellent. I recommend this hotel.

I stay often at this hotel during my business travels and it is my preferred hotel. Clean, comfortable and consistently meeting and exceeding expectations. Staff is fantastic and makes the stay a welcoming experience. Hotel is completing a renovation but it has not affected my stays at all. Looks great!

My Husband and I are still on our 3 week Ontario business trip. We enjoy staying at Best Western hotels, so decided to stay at the North York location. Nick, the manager, was very friendly and efficient. This hotel does NOT have breakfast. You have to go to their adjoining restaurant. The room rate we had did not include breakfast. As diamond members, and seeing as though we would be staying for more than one night, we requested if it was possible to receive at least one complimentary breakfast. Nick gave us vouchers for our length of stay. Huge kudos go to Nick for his generosity. Our room was nice, clean and airy. It had the amenities we require. Recommended ......

I always go back to the same hotel because it's location is good ... just off Finch. It's beside the police station... nice and safe. Nice pool and hot tub and good service. The food is usually good been several times and only a couple of complaints the kitchen is quick to fix food.

They make it very clear they are going through Renovations. Our beds we definitely comfortable, and our housekeeping staff was extremely friendly. The pool and Spa are awesome, and open pretty late. All the front desk staff have been really nice too!

Best Western for many years now has been a run down chain with sites needing a much needed updating and Reno. They have tried but this site showed signs of poor workmanship and going halfway to catch up with the other chains. WiFi signal was weak in the rooms, cleaning staff were less than thorough and no complimentary breakfast. Won't be staying at Best Western sites any more.

The hotel has recently been renovated making the interior look and feel new. There is a restaurant located on site with decent food. It's a little outside downtown but it's a short 5 minute ride to the subway making it convenient to get downtown in 30 minutes. Hotel was clean quiet and comfortable. Will definitely be using this hotel on future visits to Toronto.

Josephine in Elements restaurant which is attached to the hotel was superb. She was kind, courteous and great with our two 11 year old children (boy and a girl), making suggestions for fun activities to do while we stayed. They looked forward to seeing her each day to tell her about the adventures they had whilst we were away. Thank you Josephine!

We had a 2 night getaway booked in Toronto and unfortunately weren't able to sleep either of these nights. The first night everyone was very uncomfortable due to the very firm pillows (not the end of the world though) and we did ask if there were other pillows and were greeted by a housekeeper with an older style. I do have to admit this was a positive during our stay - that our concerns and complaints were addressed and resolved immediately. However, the second night we had multiple calls to our room from midnight until 4 am. The phone doesn't have a distinct ring, but rather a "beep" so we had a lot of trouble in our sleep trying to determine what was happening. I spoke repeatedly with whoever was calling and with a thick accent they kept specifying "wrong room, sorry" followed by multiple other calls and breathing and hang-ups and voicemails. I went to the lobby and they advised to take the phone off the hook. I realize this is beyond the control of the hotel and/ or staff however it really did have a huge negative impact on our trip. We have always had really good luck with our local best western located here in London Ontario, which was why we chose this chain when visiting Toronto. Due to our experiences I can't say we will be returning or recommending this specific branch. We will also be learning local area codes for the future and ensuring we don't get put in the same room #.

The front desk staff were amazing so helpful on directions and kindness the comfort and cleanliness of my room and the indoor heated pool was great to relax in . I enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant .

A business trip brought me to this hotel. Sadly, it was a choice that came with many bad moments. The management of this branch needs to pay closer attention to training their staff, who are friendly but not professional. The lack of maintenance is also evident, with chopped plates, scratched furniture, and damaged window screens and bathroom curtains! There is only one restaurant with a small menu but nice food. The service is okay, although I had my order mixed up once, and waiting for 5 minutes to get the bill is almost normal here! Free WiFi is available everywhere in the building, but it gets slow at times. This hotel can give a much better experience, if the management believed it.

My experience: 1. Fecal matter on back of toilet 2. Filthy unchanged bedsheets from previous guest 3. Staff who checked on me, but did nothing to rectify my issues or compensate me when notified of them. 4. I ended up cleaning the toilet and replacing the bed sheets in my room for clean bed sheets from house keeping. 5. I would not recommend a stay at this hotel for anyone.

We stayed in the king suite. Having the jacuzzi in the bedroom was excellent after a long day of walking for sightseeing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows. We are planning to return in July and have already decided to stay at this location.

We couldn't experience the whole thing because of renovations but even under renovations it was clean and well kept. Only thing I would say is restaurant on site needs some tweaks. Everything in our room was stocked up nicely.

Recently renovated, excellent restaurant and fairly priced, this location was the best value for the area. Staff were superb. A well managed establishment. We stayed 3 nights on a recent visit and had no issues. Hotel staff go out of their way to please and seem to genuinely like their jobs. Food was excellent, so no need to seek restaurants nearby. There is also a huge mall 10 mins north by car. (Vaughan)

I enjoy my stay.The hotel staff where very accomodating .When next am in Canada am definitelygoing to stay here.The only thing is that ,the cable was a cheap one.But we had a great time at the hotel.Thr front desk was nice.

Ya know I really want to like this place. With the new renovations the lobby looks gorgeous. They're trying, an effort that's not going unappreciated but I got some issues. WiFi..when the speed is so bad you find yourself at Tim's down the street to get anything done, that's a problem. It randomly drops my tablet, my phone keeps giving up and going back to cellular, and my laptop won't load basic webpages. It's a mess. Tv, what is going on with the audio blackouts. Every channel, random audio blackouts. In the course of a 30 minute show, you'll lose audio for 10 of them. Don't watch anything important, you'll have no idea what was said. Bathroom remodel looks good, well lit, nice tile. However they failed to fix the cracks in the tub enamel which looks tacky. I also found several hairs on the tub on check in which shows a lack of good cleaning. Beds are super comfy, thick pillows, thick blankets. Honestly their great. The room clock is at least 8 yrs old, has an old school 30 pin iPod dock which benefits no one. The AC is good, quiet, wall controlled. There are definite signs of lipstick on a pig in places, you can see poor workmanship in the paint on the walls and in the hallways recently redone. I don't ding the trip for their renovations as hey, it's got to happen at some point. But the issues above are why I took it down some stars, not the renovation noise and debris.

We were visiting my Father-in-law who lives in a Senior Centre with no visitor accommodation. We had to find a hotel close by and on the transit route. We have stayed in Best Westerns before so chose this one due to its proximity. It was an older hotel but served the purpose.

nice place, out of the way, yet close to everything. This was a business trip, and didn't spend much time at the hotel. The pool area was closed, and I hoped to get to the pool for some relaxation....perhaps next time.

Check in was easy and the 2 men working the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It had a fridge, microwave and a coffee maker. We did not eat at the attached restaurant. This was the first Best Western Plus we have stayed at that did not have free breakfast. The free parking was nice.The hotel was very quiet, so sleeping issues. The only negative is that the shower could of been cleaned better as there was a lot of hair on the shower floor that we had to rinse down the drain.

Over all, we were quite pleased with our three night stay here in early October. First the positives. We were on a driving holiday so staying downtown with traffic issues, parking costs and the general exorbitance of accommodations downtown made this a convenient and ideal place for us to stay. Lots of free parking and contrary to a few posted observations, it seemed perfectly safe to us. Its in amongst several other hotels in a wide open area and I suspect that can be foreboding for some folks. We had a suite consisting of a living room, bedroom and best of all, two large bathrooms, ideal for two people getting ready for the day simultaneously. There were TV's in both the living room and bedroom, again an ideal scenario for a couple with different tastes in programming. We had no concerns with the condition or cleanliness of the rooms and furnishings and the beds met our demanding standards of comfort. One unique feature of the bathrooms was that after a hot shower, only the peripheries of the mirror fogged up, the large middle portion perfectly clear! Lastly, from check in to check out, we found the staff of the hotel proper unfailingly polite and attentive to our needs and requests. There were just a few niggly things that I felt were just irritating enough to prevent me from giving 5 stars. First, the TV in the bedroom worked perfectly but the one in living room had, for some reason, some reception issues. Prime channels from 3 to 8 were unavailable period, and all the channels from 31 higher would break up constantly. We noted our concern on the first day but the matter wasn't rectified during our stay. Not a big thing to be sure but... Secondly, the hot tub was not operational during our stay and the poor maintenance fellow who tried to get it working indicated that he reported the issue to the owners and the ball was in their court now. Judging from subsequent reviews, it looks like this was an ongoing issue for quite awhile but may have been recently resolved. But for those for whom this perk is important, I'd be sure to inquire as to whether it's working properly before committing to their stay. Finally, we were visiting the sights and golfing during our stay. Hence, we tended to dine elsewhere during our travels but liked to have a nightcap in the lounge prior to retiring. The attached restaurant/lounge seems to fit the bill for many. Our experiences are somewhat mixed. The lounge area is relatively small, an extension of the restaurant which had the ambience of a cafeteria. That aside, the facility closes at 10:00 P.M. and toward the closing hour, it seemed that the bartender/waitress was responsible for serving the whole facility and doing closing tasks. That meant that she was absent from the bar for extended periods. I imagine that extra staff wouldn't necessarily be cost efficient but under the circumstances, I think it behooves staff to assure customers needs are met before moving onto other tasks. All in all, the positives far outweigh the gripes and if it was possible, I'd give the place 4 and 1/2 stars and perhaps on another three days in a different room, it would earn 5 stars. The potential is there. Still excellent value for an expensive city to visit!

My favorite part of this room is the separate bathroom. It is not located in the bedroom, which for me is wonderful. I wake up earlier than my boyfriend to get ready and it was nice to not have to worry about disturbing someone.

This spot is close to the highway 400 and very convenient to shopping and great dinning. Our room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Or room was on the fifth floor and very quiet. Cleaner , Anna was lovely and took great pride in her job. Poole was clean and warm. Breakfast was good but service was a little slow. Kitchen manager fellow seemed to be working hard and was very attentive to us. The lady who worked with him, not so much. I will stay again with these folks. Everyone seemed very happy to be working there which often is a reflection of how they are treated by management. Thanks

It was just ok, because I book the room for my boyfriend,he's driving from US to here,we check in at most 2am On November 8,I book the room to stay is 7-8(1night),when we asking for the check in or check out hours, front desk was not every happy with that,I feel so awkward?There is no napkin in the room ? after that everything is ok

Great hotel, fantastic room. Short drive from the airport and shopping centre (mall). Pete at reception was extremely accommodating! (Breakfast not great but ok) Booking again for my next stay in Toronto.

We saw some "poor" reviews on other sites and were concerned if things would be OK. They were just fine. A nice clean room, free parking and WIFI, a quiet area, friendly service. One think that was often given poor reviews was the attached bar and lounge. We ate there three times in three days and were pleased by the flavors, servings and price for the food. NO complaints here. We even got some poutine that wasn't listed on the menu. BREAKFAST was LARGE ! It's about maybe 30 from downtown so you're going back and forth. That was fine with us. We recommend them and would return.

We have stayed here three times in the last year when we come to visit our son. We look forward to the very friendly staff at the hotel. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. We'll be back for our next trip to visit!

My brother,sisterinlaw and i had a 2 day appt at princess maragret hospital.instead of driving home we decided to stay somewhere.my sisterinlaw booked at the best western.even tho it was a far drive from the hospital and we thought before we go there again it was to far and not worth it.but once we got to the hospital and it was lovely we decided it was worth the drive.a great place to stay.all the stuff where very helpful and i loved my room.

The hot tub did not seem to work. It did not get hot and wasn't even warm. The restaurant is nice and food is good. Additional staff is needed in the restaurant. One member is not enough. Room was nice and bet was very comfy.

Hotel is reasonably priced with good amenities. Parking was free and that is a bonus when traveling in the Toronto area. Location was great for us a we were attending an activity at York University. I also enjoyed the location right off the 400 avoiding the heavy traffic on the 401.

This hotel was well appointed and clean with comfortable rooms. The disappointment was in the pool where the hot tub was cold and then drained the next morning. Breakfast was not provided but the restaurant was very reasonable in breakfast at around $6

Recently held a large meeting for 30 people at the Best Western Plus. The staff was extremely professional and helpful. Paula, the lead kitchen manager we directly worked with was phenomenal, very accommodating. The room was laid out very well, Paula was able to coordinate a timed breakfast for our early morning working staff, which was greatly appreciated. Lunch was excellent, great variety of sandwiches on fantastic breads. Some of our key participants stayed over the night before, the rooms were very clean, well kept and comfortable. The only issue I noticed was that in three different hotel rooms, there were distinct scents that assailed the nose as we entered. Each room was different, the suite smelt of smoke and the other two normal rooms had other unusual smells. I'd recommend this hotel, and the in-house restaurant with it's great selection and reasonable prices.

The staff was exceptional (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Wait Staff in restaurant). We would recommend a wider selection of pillows. The one's in the room were all firm & for us arthritus people not good. The carpet needs a thorough deodorization or a change in cleaning product as it lacked a sense of that clean feeling.

Recently stayed. Wifi was horrible - horrible. Pillows were crappy. The box spring was on a metal platform and every time you moved it made noises. The "patio" that I paid extra for was a joke. We could hear everything. Not worth the money and would not stay and/or recommend. Hotel restaurant was very expensive.

Every employees go out of their way to help. On site Restaurant which is excellent food. No complaints for me. I would really recommend to try this hotel out. I will definitely stay here again and definitely recommending my family to come to this hotel

Efficient service and I was able to get and early check in. The reception area was clean the soft drink vending machine operational but the snacks machine was out of order. The room was very clean and smelled fresh the TV and Wi-Fi worked fine

The staff were friendly and helpful. Very welcoming and made sure we were happy and comfortable. The hotel was beautiful clean and well-maintained. We loved the no-fog mirror and the squeeze bottles for soap/lotion/shampoo/conditioner.

I really enjoyed that the room had a microwave and fridge (great sized fridge). It was far enough from the chaos of Toronto, but close enough to enjoy the sites. The staff were very helpful and supportive. Within 1 hour of being in my room they called to make sure I liked my room. It was a quiet hotel and parking was VERY easy. The pool was a little smaller then expected but still great for a casual swim. The hot tub was hit and miss whether it was working which was a concern. Overall I would stay here again!

The reception at this hotel was most warm. The people went out of their way to satisfy our needs. Although we are in town for a funeral, their pleasant attitudes picked up our spirits. The bed and linens were marvellous after a long trip. Even though we were on the top floor near the airport, we heard nothing. A restful night for sure! They have been informed about the need for brighter bedside lamps and for better shower heads in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay in a very clean, quiet, modern, hotel with friendly helpful staff and a nice warm pool. We traveled into the city for work, but with our two very small children and felt very welcome. Staff also made check-out in the morning quick and simple to let us get on our way with our two groggy toddlers. Overall, it was an excellent experience and we'd go back there a second time in a heartbeat if we were traveling through that area again.

It's a nice, clean hotel with decent service and a great, but slightly pricey restaurant. Beds could have been a little more comfortable and I got overcharged for room service one night. It's a little too far away from everything though.

The Review and Pictures posted are deceiving not at all what is at the property a shabby shady property located in a high crime area no lighting around,rooms are very small,not clean,smelly and dark corridors no internet services available in room and absolutely disappointed and disgusted when i went there with my family.I checked in and checked out the same night.

I had a very positive experience here. I selected the two room suite and was quite pleased with the space. If staying for more than a night or two, this is the way to go. Everything in the room worked fine, no complaints at all. The staff was professional and courteous and all my interactions were positive. I did not use the restaurant; therefore, cannot speak to the speed of service or lack thereof that has been mentioned in other reviews. There are several restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The rooms have a fridge and microwave so you can stock up on groceries and go the cheap route. If I was to pick at anything, I believe some upgrades can be made to the fitness center equipment. It is ok but does show the wear and tear. With regard to the location, it is actually a pretty good distance from the highway and traffic noise is not a factor. Buses run along Finch Ave every few minutes; therefore, it is possible to get downtown and elsewhere without having a car at your disposal. The comments about this area being a bad/rough area are certainly a matter of perspective but I never perceived it as being dangerous at all. After deliberating on deciding where to stay, I chose this hotel and am very happy I did. I believe the staff makes an honest effort to provide a nice place to stay. I would certainly return here.

The hotel is very modern looking and is of a high standard , I could not pick fault with anything , the rooms, lobby, reception were all kept in a clean and welcoming way,breakfast was a delight. The indoor pool was true to photographs upon the hotel website, large, clean and warm too, it was a great way to start the morning.

I would not recommend this hotel. The staff was snappy and abrupt. Service in restaurant was lacking in staff. My room was left open for hours and my bathroom was dirty. I was disappointed in the front desk service and that my room was not ready at 5PM at night and I had to wait to check in.

This hotel is just okay. I booked here to be close to the airport as well as a wedding venue. The photos looked nice enough. When I got into my room, it smelled like someone had been smoking for days in it. I was tired and wanted to crash so I left it and kept the air conditioning on full blast the entire weekend to help with the smell. I had a hard time locking my window (which was opened when I arrived - maybe related to the smoke smell?) and after about five minutes of toying with it I was able to secure it. The padlock on my door didn't seem to engage either, but I was able to keep the latch the make sure my door was secure. It was only okay for a hotel in my opinion and wouldn't book again. . It didn't feel the cleanest or most modern and could use some updating for sure. Maybe it was my bad luck with scoring a dud of a room. That being said, I mentioned the smell to the desk attendant at checkout and he was very apologetic.

I pick this hotel because it is 10 minutes away from York University where my son goes to school and I am able to get a suite where I can be in a separate room with separate bathroom. I find this to be very practical as he tends to stay up much later than I do. The food is actually very good but the service is VERY slow particularly at breakfast. I would leave a good hour to get in and out. Last time I stayed I ate at a separate restaurant because I knew it would make me late. Other than that the pool is great after a long drive and the hotel staff is nice.

I had a very good night sleep the bed was extremely confortable and there were no noise around the room. The staff at the clerk was friendly and it had lots of parking spaces and the hotel was near Canada's Wonderland wish was a big plus. Pleasant stay.

I said in Best Western's before. They are usually decent for the price you pay. But this one! I arrived late. They gave me a key and when I go to my room, surprise! The room was not made or there was already someone in. The TV was on and the bed was messy so I ran away as fast as I can!!!

its nice, downside was when we stayed on Aug 27/17 the pool was closed, was working in the afternoon when we got there, but was shut down later on, main reason I booked this hotel aside from the cheaper ones around was because of the pool. Kids were disappointed. The room was nice and clean, updated, pillows were really fluffy, you melt into them which is nice. Everything was what I expected in a room. Had a microwave and mini fridge, not all have the microwave. It was quiet, didn't hear much of the 400hwy which was a concern. Overall if the pool was working which was very warm and kids loved it when we first got there worked when we went back after supper it would have been a perfect start to our Canada's Wonderland adventure. They also sell tickets to Wonderland for 50 each (65 at the gate) we got our tickets at Costco for 40 each.

Everyone went out of their way to make my life easier. Helps me out with three kids! I booked a Canadas wonderland trip and it was well worth every penny. Room was great! Beds were soft and not much light came through the windows!!

I didn't appreciate what a huge benefit 2 full baths would be in our room. Great benefit. Hotel is clean, quiet, with easy access to Hwy400, close to Hwy407. Kids liked the pool (open till 11:00pm). Pullout sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. Fridge, air conditioning worked very well.

Great service with professional staff ..the rooms are very nice and clean and the beds were comfortable, we did go to the pool and it was cloudy, but it was big enough and loved that there was a shower to rinse yourself. The breakfast at the restaurant wasn't as great as I was hoping and it was very pricey.

I stayed here in August and asked the front desk staff for a somewhat quiet section of the hotel. They put us right next to an elevator which clanked ALL NIGHT! The room was noisy and we didn't sleep at all. In the morning there was actually a crane outside out room window going up to the roof to fix their damn elevator! What a joke. When i messaged management after the trip they never even bothered to respond. I would never stay at this dump again...

Bit of a curious location; not close to downtown and not close to the airport either. In hindsight I wished I'd booked somewhere a bit closer to the city centre. The hotel was having work done on the parking lot which meant some of the spaces were taped off and couldn't be used therefore parking was at a premium, especially when a local limo firm clearly has permission to park its fleet there overnight taking up a lot of spaces. Our room was nice enough although the air conditioning unit was a bit loud at night but you needed it on because the room was very warm otherwise. Beds and bathroom were clean and overall the room was satisfactory. The kids used the pool and said it was fine but we didn't eat at the restaurant so cannot comment on the food there. We had a busy full day out in Toronto planned so didn't spend much time at all in the hotel and then the next morning we checked out early to get to the airport. All in all a decent enough Best Western but nothing outstanding or out of the ordinary. Top tip: if you are staying here and intend heading into downtown Toronto drive to Finch Station approx.15 mins away. From here you can catch the TTC subway train into town for a flat rate fare of $3.25 one way. Also there are 2 huge parking lots at the station which each hold 1500+ cars and it's $5 to park your car all day - pretty good value.

We went very late night.Front desk was very accommodating and help me to get cab booked for next day. Room was very clean and cool. Wifi was very good. Only one thing is housekeeper but both bottle of conditioner in shower so I told her mistake(it's happen ) Overall I recommend this place.

We arrived for our check in at 14:45 and were told the room was going to be ready in 15 minutes. The front desk staff ('Nick' the front desk manager) called the maid on the radio with a rude tone and told her to hurry). At 15:20 I went back to the front desk asking if the room was ready and was told it would take another 20 minutes. I told them we were told that already 20 Minutes ago. I asked them if something was wrong with the room and she nicely said she would go and check on the room. Meanwhile, the front desk manager (Nick) was arguing with another hotel staff member in front of customers because she says he can't handle customers who complain and that he refers all calls to her; Nick replies to her very rudely and could care less. When my husband went back to Nick asking again about the room 'Nick the front desk manager' was curt and rude, he also blamed the previous customers for the room not being ready. (Three other guests are also waiting for their rooms at that point and one of them is unhappy about the way his reservation was handled and a previous one had asked a hotel staff to speak to a manager. ) 'Nick the front desk manager' lies to us about having been waiting only for 5-10 minutes and that he can always cancel our booking. At which point I said 'yes please cancel' and he appeared surprised. I asked for the name of the manager and he proudly showed his name tag with 'front desk manager' on it. I asked for the name of his manager as he is not the hotel manager and he refused to give me a name. As the 'front desk manager' he has ZERO skills in dealing with customers which also explains his front desk argument with another member of the staff. We did not cancel the room because of the wait, we could live with that. We canceled the room because of the 'front desk manager' s rudeness, keeping in mind that should there have been any issue during our stay it would not have been addressed properly. We had a simple concern with the wait and he could have easily addressed that concern with professionalism but instead he laid the blame on us and the previous customers. His response was out of proportion and inappropriate. He was overwhelmed with the simplest question and defensive while there was no need for that and he could have addressed the issue in a professional manner. I travel for business regularly and never have I had to cancel due to poor customer service.

Location - was told by cab driver, "roughest area in Toronto." I would agree it's not a nice area at all. Canada Wonderland Package - a rip off. Buy your own tickets (even seasonal passes) for cheaper. Rooms - nice Service - below average. A majority of the front desk staff are not helpful and even rude. Restaurant - food and service is excellent! After my experience with this hotel, I would not stay at a Best Western again.

Very quiet clean hotel. Extremely comfortable beds and nice up to date decor. Excellent location. Backs onto corn field, on a road with decent Hotels; next door to Police Department. Felt very safe. I would stay again at this location if need be for meetings/appointments. Also, close to Pearson Airport, yet far enough away to be quiet. Paid a premium for main floor. Vehicle parked at room door. A bit unhappy with check out, however, overall very nice hotel and excellent value.

We spent three nights at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. the two room suite was great for when one of us wanted to go to bed earlier than the other and having two baths was also great. Beds were comfortable, appreciated the refrigerator and in-room wifi.The hotel is out of the city center, but easily accessible to subway with a short drive. We left a valuable item in the room when we checked out and the housekeeper found it and turned it in. When we realized our loss, we called the hotel and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The item is now back in our possession!

Arrival at 4:00, was greeted by a new young lady, learning the ropes and trying her very best to check us in. We had the $10 coupons to redeem and I wanted to be sure they could be used so was moved to Raj. He has excellent, helped us with an upgrade (?) and redeemed the BW coupons against our bill on the first night. The upgrade had had some smokers and when i went back to Raj, he changed rooms for us again. The pull out sofabed is reallly the pull out springbed. NO padding at all, slept on pillows on top of the springs. Super uncomfortable. We should have just stayed at the two bed room and forgone the upgrade. Breakfast was included in our rate, however, our conference was starting at 8:00 am. and that is when breakfast opened so we missed for both days. That was our own cost outside of the hotel. The halls were quite noisy at night, through the night. Not sure if there was something going on in the area for younger crowd, but we heard them coming and going. Had dinner in the dining room, food was normal, service not terribly friendly. Took forever to pay our bill. And.......guests were bringing their own alcohol and food to the patio. Did inform Raj of this, and he immediately stepped away from what he was doing and headed to the restaurant. No management on site for the hotel or restaurant on this Saturday night. Not sure what the outcome was of that. This hotel could be tidier, cigarette butts outside at the front door in the morning, musty smelling. Not likely to stay here again. BW brand and proximity to conference is what brought us here.

The hotel, staff, value for money and restaurant all very good. My only issue was with the internet, which was very bad. I called and the front desk re-booted it, but it didn't help. Wasn't able to work in the evening, or stream on my laptop. If they can address the internet issue, this is a great value for your money!

This location near Canada's Wonderland, etc. is good. There is really no where to walk to from the hotel, so I wouldn't want to be without a car. The hotel itself is pretty standard. The restaurant was really crowded on a Sunday morning and there were only 2 servers, so it was pretty slow, but the food was good. I can't say anyone was overly friendly, but they weren't rude, either. It was a decent place, but nothing outstanding.

Albeit a chain/franchise, this BW on the outskirts of Toronto offered exactly what we wanted. Good clean rooms,helpful staff, quiet,food on site and the ability to travel into Toronto downtown and be near the airport. Two nights wind down on arrival,before heading North to Huntsville and Sudbury. After a round trip to Ottawa,Montreal and Sherbrooke the BE Toronto beckoned for the final night before returning through Pearson to Manchester. Good front desk assistance and all staff very pleasant.

Great service and always consistent. The restaurant is excellent and the hours are also good for business travelers. Everyone from the desk staff to the people that quietly work in the background to ensure things are working properly should all be recognized and congratulated for their exceptional work.

This hotel was chosen for its proximity to Canada's Wonderland, and we were very happy with our choice. Modern, fully renovated rooms. We had the basic small room, which had surprising very well designed storage (large backpacks could be tucked into the side tables). Best feature is the restaurant. Basic but tasty food, and at a much lower price than expected. Cora amount of food for half the price. We loved having a great option at the hotel especially after a long day of Toronto traffic. Clean, new, modern, good computer access, nice pool, comfy bed, and good food. Wouldn't book anywhere else in the future!

Great location for Canada's Wonderland and Vaughan Mills. Friendly staff with great service. Room was a little small but nice and clean. Pool was good. restaurant downstairs was quick and the food wasn't bad. Rooms are a bit loud as far as hearing when yor neighbor is in the shower, the water sound but otherwise quiet.

Just your basic hotel. Staff was okay. Did find most to be friendly with the exception of one. Kids loved the pool but it seemed dirty to me. Looked like mould on the floor. Rooms seemed clean. Attached restaurant was really good and the staff in there were ultra friendly. It was close to the Vaughan mills shopping centre so that was a plus. Parking and wifi was free.

We were looking for a quiet, clean and affordable option for our trip to Toronto and this was the perfect spot. Plus it is really close to my brother's house which helped tons. It's about 1 1/2 hours away from Niagara Falls. Will be going there again when I visit my brother. The one bedroom had it's own room and a little living room with pull out sofabed which helped when my nephews came for a "sleepover". Only con was that the iron didn't work. Bathroom had a funky smell and they fixed it right away.

This hotel had great comfortable rooms and the pool was great. Staff were very helpful giving advice on public transport. The hotel is a bit tucked out of the way. Fine if you have a car but we never. Bit of a walk to get to the main road to get the bus, a little walk further and there are some shops and restaurants. On site restaurant served a pretty good steak though!

This hotel is located not far away from the airport and was a close distance to YORK University - the main purpose of my visit. The rooms are typical American hotel style and comfortable. Breakfast though was not included in my rate (for the rate I paid, normally it should have been possible to offer bed and breakfast). I suspect that this is because the restaurant is not owned by the hotel. Hotel has a gym and a (small) pool, so abit of exercise is possible. Close to the hotel is a police station so one f else secure here. Along the busy main road close to the hotel are also supermarkets and a small mall. So all in all, quite ok... if not for the price.

Good place to stay, employees were nice and helpful. No continental breakfast and internet was slow at times. but overall a good place to stay. Lobby décor was very nice and room décor was also nice. Great location for travel centered in the middle of Toronto most locations were only 15-20 minutes away with traffic. Not many restaurants near or banks, but could easily find one that wasn't too far away. Beautiful city to visit, will not be disappointed in hotel.

For being a moderately priced room this hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the amenities were a nice surprise. My family was on a cross Country trip and were pleased when we found out they had coin operated washing machines for guests to use. We also had dinner at their restaurant and were quiet pleased at both the price and quality of the food.

Family of 4, kids 9&11. 10 minutes from Canada's Wonderland. Hotel staff prompt and friendly. Can't thank Nick during the day, enough for his knowledge about the park and busy times, and for directions elsewhere. Also Savio at night who gave us a new room since ours had a plumbing issue and couldn't be fixed by their maintenance man-who also arrived promptly. He also gave us a complementary breakfast for the next morning for our inconvenience of having to change rooms late at night. Room was clean and comfy. The sofa sleeper was a little uncomfortable for the kids, but when you're tired, you're tired. Kids enjoyed the pool as well til 11 pm. On site free parking, quiet street, police department next door. Would definitely stay here again!

Easily accessible from the highway, very helpful front desk staff, The bedding, pillows very comfortable, room has all amenities you need, Restaurant staff friendly, efficient and food very good and well priced Half hour walk to the Skylon Tower or take bus. Hotel is very clean and has a comfortable and pleasant foyer.

I stay at this hotel often for work and it's a great stay every time. Staff is absolutely fantastic. Shout out to newer "Kativa" for being an excellent front desk agent! This place is clean, comfortable and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

This location was very easy to get to right off the Highway, it was modern and clean with computer stations available and a great restauraunt. The rooms were good size with a refrigerator that was really appreciated after staying in a hotel without one! The reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for local places to eat and shop. it was nice to be able to have a conversation and know that the other person was really interested in helping you.

I selected this hotel on Booking.com a couple of months ago and got a great deal. The hotel offered free parking which can cost $20-25 a day in many hotels. The room was modern and well equipped. We were assigned room 515. The only real negative was that the lift was quite slow. The reception staff was courteous and well informed.

The rooms are basic but functional. Cleaning very poor not only in room but generally- someone left empty pizza box by drink machine-2 days later still there! When you ask for something generally it appears too much effort for the person-there are a couple of great people on reception which is great as you have to renew your room key card every time you leave the hotel or even just go down a floor. Attached restaurant -food nice but service extremely slow- definitely wouldn't recommend it

Stayed at this hotel for over a week to settle some family affairs. Hotel was clean and service was great whenever asked for it. Huge car park, front and back, so no problems with finding a parking spot anytime. Rooms are quite decent in size. We had the king suite which had two bathroom/toilets which was handy as there were three of us. There's a gym and indoor swimming pool. Also there is a coin-operated laundry - washing and dryer, on site. Across from the reception desk are three computers for guest use, and a printer. We had access to free wi-fi in the hotel. There is a restaurant on-site which seemed well patronised, especially at dinner time. We had dinner and breakfast there and the menu was sufficient to our needs. Close by, 5-10 minutes walk, are two supermarkets. However be aware that the suburb of North a York, where this hotel is located, is big, and having access to a car is very handy. Further, getting into Toronto city is quite a drive - give yourself at least 30-45 minutes drive. We did not have a chance to go into the city this trip, so can't comment too much on the journey to the city.

Nice hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Location is decent and easy to find. Stayed here for an overnight trip to Toronto. Would be nice if breakfast was included but the onsite restaurant had some good priced breakfast specials. Would stay again!

I really liked this hotel. Everything was so easy from booking and the checking in/out. The rooms are very nice, the bed is comfy, and the breakfast was very price friendly and still a great quality. It came very handily that they had a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer.

Had an awesome stay here while visiting Toronto, Canada. I didn't know much about this choice while booking, but I'm glad I choose it. As we landed at the airport we took an 10 minute UBER ride to get here. We were checked in immediately upon arrival. The staff was great. The hotel room was very clean as was the whole hotel. The hotel is also located next to the Toronto Police Station which was always quite. We choose public transportation as a means to get around. It was in walking distance and took us straight to the subway line. We had no problem at all walking to and from the bus. There's a outlet mall close by, not many stores but we found a few bargains. There are fast food restaurants located near, but there's also a restaurant located inside the hotel with great eats!! I recommend this hotel!!

Didn't spend much time at the hotel. Was a good place to sleep, clean with comfortable pillows and bed. Pool and hot tub were nice. Would have been great if there was a continental breakfast. Nice and close to Canada's Wonderland.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean and the food was great. Room was comfortable. I normally stay at the Hotel next door, but will choose this hotel in the future. My son and I stayed at this hotel for a mini vacation. He is ten years old, and loved the time at this hotel, especially the pool. Actually, he didn't want to leave.

My first time in Canada I stay here this place pretty nice clean! As soon you walk in restaurant to the right the staff was helpful! Next door police station which give you extra security plus! Walking distance bus stop and shops around the way pretty Cool! Thump up!

Close to wonderland, easy to find. We booked 2month early, Changed the reservation once with no charge, and found similar value right away. Especially like the bed, clean and comfy. We loved our stay there!

From the moment we checked in till we left all the staff at this hotel are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and very nice. We had a Wonderland package. They are very organized. The pool area was nice and clean and the pool was warm. The breakfast was very good and filling. A great little getaway!

While the hotel was, overall, relatively decent, I do have to point out a number of small issues that were a nuisance: The free breakfast that I saw mentioned online when making my reservation turned out to only be "discounted", not free. Of course I then tried to find where it had said "free" and couldn't find it again. Full price would have been ridiculous, but the "discounted" rate made it "reasonable". HVAC system in the room would not turn off. Even with the control in the "off" position, the noisy fan continued to run all night (just a little slower, but still noisy, without cooling). Office chair was broken/bent, leaning to one side and extremely squeeky (had to try to sit perfectly still to not bother those sleeping.) There was popcorn under the bed-skirt that wasn't vacuumed up before our arrival. The corner lamp plug was bent as though it has been roughly yanked out of the wall on an angle, and the cord all knotted up and shoved under a chair. I had to un-knot it, fix the plug with my pocket knife, and plug it in. And, as usual, another god-awful hotel Internet service that is entirely unfriendly to business travellers and modern Internet protocols. This isn't 1996! Ugh! Good think I'm a network geek, and can find workarounds for just about anything. A layman would have been completely S.O.L.

We stayed in this best Western for 3 nights. Price was okay, Service is friendly. We were informed that there is a pool with whirlpool free to use. Also they have a big parking lot which you can use for free (as a guest of course). As we had mostly rainy days in Toronto we used the offer one day and spent a hole afternoon at the pool. I can also recommend the restaurant located in this hotel. Price, food and service were good. We're definitely coming back!

Stayed there with the family in April and enjoyed staying there. Staff was very friendly and accommodating during our whole stay. Restaurant service was good. I had dinner the first night, and it was ready really fast, breakfast was good, of course not too many staff so service was slow. Rooms were nice and the little one loved the pool. Internet connection wasn't the greatest. It will come and go.

Staff is very understanding and helpful, beds are amazing and the rooms are very pleasant. We hadn't planned on staying over at a hotel but after being talked into it by family members we hoped to get a room. Not many were available and the ones that were available were higher in price then I could afford. The staff was so helpful and made sure that the room we were given was brought down into an affordable range for us.

We always stay at Bestwestern's and this one was ok but by far not one of my favourites. They usually offer complimentary breakfast, this one didn't. Our shower curtain was mouldy and toilet was loose, room was not as clean as most Bestwesterns we stay at .

This hotel is conveniently located close to the 400 Highway, zip up it and you are on the 407 and out of Toronto (which is usually my goal as quickly as possible) . Hotel is pretty clean, parking is free, common areas nice etc. Cooling system works well, bed is comfortable. Here are my cons however. Outer linen,such as bed scarves stained. Soil mark on white duvet that looked like from shoe or suitcase. Desk chair basically unusable unless you wanted to lay down gaming. I actually called reception, but they never came to replace it. I really wanted to like this hotel, but it was hard to do business at a desk while laying down. Finally WIFI by Purepages, sucks! I ended up using my phone hotspot.

This hotel was very good for the price. The room was clean. The parking was free and the check in was a breeze. I gave only four stars because of the check out. You have to be out by 11 and they charge you 20 for every 10 min that you are late checking out. Some hotels allow late check outs. Obviously it is not encouraged but they allow it. Overall good hotel for the price.

A very comfortable and clean hotel with all necessary amenities with very pleasant staff. Very handy for the airport and good public transport links to the city centre which takes approximately an hour by bus and subway outside of rush hour.

I only stayed here for 1 night, but it was a pleasant night. It's not really the best neighbourhood in the city of Toronto, but if you're just passing through it's convenient to several major highways. The lack of free breakfast was a bit of a pain, considering it would have been a perfect way to get my day going, but if you're really in a pinch there is a restaurant, and they offer a fine breakfast. I guess the best way to describe this hotel is very pleasant with no extras. For a single night on the road this can be very good, but I imagine that someone staying in Toronto for a few nights on a budget might not like this place at all. Again, you need a car if you're going to stay here, there really isn't any other option.

We have stayed at this Hotel a number of times over the years and have been most satisfied with the this property and all of it's staff. Nick the day front desk person has been most helpful and makes our stays enjoyable. We will be using this Hotel when ever we are in Toronto

First time I have staid here and what can I say, staff very very friendly. Always smiling and helping. Room was clean and big. Very comfortable beds. Restaurant was onsite that's very convenient as when you coming back from business trip you don't wanna go drive around to find restaurant to eat. I will definitely coming back here

Paid close to $200 per night so an average hotel. No breakfast included in the morning. If you're travelling here for business, it's fine. Wouldn't pay out of pocket for this hotel. Room was average, clean. Bathroom was nice.

Our stay here was very good. Comfortable beds, soft and firm pillows and clean nice room. Customer service is Beyond what I can imagine. They give us direction as well as what's to see near there. Restaurant food was very good. Will be back again

I would stay again staff was friendly and acimadatung. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly the food was better then I expected the pool was clean but had no bathroom in it I would recommend

All Front Desk are very very helpful. specially Raj and Pringle they go out of their way to help us. food in restaurant was amazing. she overly looked after us which was awesome. i dont think i need to say anything more than this.

Excellent value, I really love my room. Bed very comfortable, lots of space, lovely bathroom. Friendly staff, very clean and quiet. Great restaurant with discount. Some brief issues with the washing machine that I would have preferred to be handled differently, but overall a wonderful experience.

I went to Best Western in march 2017 - it wasn't the best place. First of all, the guy at the reception charged me more for the deposit so not professional at all plus it took a few days before it was refunded to my credit card, which I did not appreciate since I did not plan that. Staff: They were not friendly...0 for their guest experience. Location: You need a car because nothing is very near by. With the car, you are a few minutes away from the hotel there is a coffee shop, grocery store, popeyes (fried chicken), pizza pizza, drug mart, etc. Price: Place was expensive for the room I expected ! Their heating system was noisy for me it was not the best especially that I had a baby with me. Gym VERY small (3-4 machines total) // swimming pool not the best. Wi-fi was available for free in their rooms. Lobby: their furnitures are old and worn out. They have three computers with wi-fi available for their guests. Washer/Dryer: You can wash and dry your clothes by paying. The machines are near by the lobby. They are nor responsible if stolen or lost items though. Overall, I do NOT recommend this place because everything was old and worn out. Plus side: Parking was free which a lot of hotels in Toronto Downtown can charge you between 20-50$/night.

Loved it from the moment i checked in Front Desk friendly service .I loved there heated pool and jacuzzi.and open until 11pm was great. The restaurant was fantastic i tried the Pasta Penne the server Josie was Awesome .

I do not recommend this hotel, quality price not worth it, and extremely poor customer service. Restaurant breakfast hours are late during the weekends and not included with room. On the bright side, the room was cleaned and they have plenty of parking space.

This hotel has very friendly and welcoming staff with delicious food, comfortable beds and a great shower with good pressure and temperature. Staff is very accommodating and we will definitely be back when in the area.

The hotel is in very nice condition. The people is very friendly and has a good restaurant with affordable nice dishes on it. Breakfast is totally recommended. Good price, good food. The rooms are renovated and perfectly clean No noises coming to your room Nothing is that perfect, the bed is good enough for couple nights The internet service is not as great as the hotel is.

We stayed here on two occasions. Nice clean rooms, service at front desk was great. The restaurant on don't recommend. The food is bland and toast tasted like old bread. Upon checking out we witnessed what I would call total humiliation and bullying towards an employee. The manager/ supervisor was yelling at the top of his lungs at one of the employees and seemed proud of it. I walked out embarrassed for him but walked back in and told the young lady at the counter that their boss was disgusting with no respect for others.

Although it was a little out of the way from downtown and the main hotspots I was pleased with the stay at this hotel. The room was clean, staff were friendly and the cleaners came round pretty much everyday. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very Nice hotel I would come back. Safe, Clean, modern, the restaurant was very good,and the staff were really helpful. It is close to the freeway to get to and from with my rental. If you are visiting from the states the place to exchange your money was just down the street.

I truly recommend this hotel the staff is great specially Pringal every time he is working he makes my stay so much more pleasant I never have anything to worry about. The rooms a fairly clean the beds are very comfortable. The hotel location is pretty close to many restaurants and malls Canada's Wonderland. The rooms were clean - friendly staff. I wish I had booked through the place direct and would have got a medical rate. The price was ok anyway. Would have liked a free continental breakfast. but was not included in the price.

Worst hotel i have ever stayed in. We got to our room which was not the room we were expecting, there was no bath tub when i had told the Manager at the hotel twice that my room needed to have a bath tub, instead there was a very small shower (the hot water had a setting so it didnt get very hot at all) and there was mold all over the edging.. We were accused of smoking not even 5 minutes after being there (while we had just watched the young fellow walking past the house keeper outside having a smoke) we were told the manager was coming to inspect the rooms (not aloud because we were leaving the premises for a bit) and then once the Manager had come off the elevator he pointed us out immediately as the people who had obviously been smoking. He was going to check our room and our room only again not aloud. At the end of our trip i had to wait 20 minutes for the house keeper to ok my room, a couple beside me goes to check out and the manager says " no damage, no smoking? I dont feel like waiting for house keeping to call back" and immediately refunds this couples money back. My husband and i will never ever stay at this hotel again and i will be very sure to tell everyone i know about how horrible my stay was.

Most hotels were sold out in Toronto when we had to make a two day trip up for a funeral. We booked the last room in this hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The room was on the small side but it was clean, which is the most important thing to us when considering a hotel. The hotel is located very close to a major hightway (400) and local attractions. We would stay again.

Great Canada Wonderland package. The staff at this hotel are extraordinary, polite, courteous. We were very impressed with the amenities and staff. Would definitely visit this Best Western again. Pool and hot tub area was well kept up and clean, water was nice and warm.

An excellent hotel in a very convenient location. Very clean rooms and an excellent staff. No towels in our rooms when we arrived, called front desk and towels were delivered immediately. Nice restaurant attached to hotel and liked the 15% discount and the food and service were great.

The room was great! It was clean and quite large. We got to leave our vehicle there for the two weeks we were away. The breakfast was excellent. Very friendly service. I had an omelette and my husband had a full breakfast.

Hotel was fine for the price. It was clean and the service was good. The restaurant had good food but much more help was needed. Don't stay in this hotel if you want to explore downtown Toronto and the sights.. It is much too far away and Toronto traffic is horrendous. Spent a lot of wasted time on the road.

The hotel was clean and in a convenient location to shops, the staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant on site should have had more options but the food was ok, the vending machine on my floor wasn't working had to take the stairs or elevator to the other floors for ice and drinks

This hotel is not luxury but very reasonably priced with free parking and good wifi. Breakfast in adjacent elemental diner is adequate and you get discount if staying at hotel. Good dinner menu if required. Good room size and comfortable bed and bathroom. Noisy A/C which can be turned off. The hotel tends to have Chinese coach parties and they can be noisy in the corridors and fill the restaurant making it a long breakfast meal. I had one complaint that the room smelt when we entered the room. Soon found it was the musty shower curtain and this was immediately changed upon my request. Hotel staff very amenable and friendly. The trip to downtown is easliy made once you get to the Finch Road Metro station about 10 minutes away by car. Buses stop at the end of the road. Cost is $2.00 for single trip to downtown area for over 65's and $3.25 for younger. $12 buys you a day ticket for all day travel.

Hotel staff were friendly, pleasant to talk to and helpful. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. High speed internet was adequate. All in all, a good experience and a very quiet and restful night.

I loved this hotel the room was fantastic with a jacuzzi and lounge area. The restaurant staff were very friendly and treated us really well felt a valued customer. Although the hotel is quite a way from the city of Toronto it was interesting making our way into town on the great transportation system that Toronto has. Having free Wi-Fi was a added bonus, compared to other hotels in Toronto this was very good value for money.

Stayed at this hotel for one night. Hotel staff at check in was nice. Even though the room seemed to be cleaned, there was a bit of dust on the night table. Besides that, everything was good. Would reccomend this hotel to others. Location was good. Quiet surroundings etc. Enjoyed our stay and would come back if oportuniy arises.
