« Lovely hotel in Tirana »

Nov Hotel is located near the Block Area (best area in Tirana) and is very near with most of the attractions. The rooms are great and what's more important clean and have a very comfortable bed. Since the hotel is renewed lately, it is a great choice. The breakfast is very good too, which is a big plus for every traveler. There are lots of great restaurants near and Block Area is only 7 mins far, that's the place where most of the bars and pubs are located. I would highly recommend this hotel.

« Try and avoid it! »

I booked a room here by accident for 3 nights in June, but left after 2. There are much, much better hotels in Tirana. First of all, the first morning there, the hotel "ran out" of warm water. I had a business meeting at 10:00 after a long night before, so at least it was very...easy to wake up due to a cold, cold shower. My view at least was towards the street, but a friend had some inner yard view that made windows obsolete...better to just pour concrete. It needs urgent renovation, this is obviously not a four star hotel.

    « excellent experience »

Very nice place, good breakfast and very nice staff. We spend 5 days here for business .Evrything was fabulous. The room was very quite and very nice.Breakfast was an opened buffet and the food was delicious and fresh.Very helpful staff. The hotel is 5 minutes from the city center near main goverment offices and different restorants

    « A very good hotel »

I and my family spend some days in this hotel and everything was very good. The room was very nice, cleaned and quied.Breakfast was a opend buffe and the food was fresh and delicious.Very helpful staff. It was the first time in Albania and we will come again in this hotel.

    « Perfect »

Excellent hotel with great service, the food in the restaurant is very good, especially the fish which is one of the best I tasted in my life. The rooms are clean, and even if the hotel is very close to the airport, no noise is to be expected. It was a very pleasant stay.

« Average hotel, rooms in the back are silent »

The hotel has all you need for a stay of a few days, at an average level. The hotelroom is small, but has a bed, desk, closet and chair. Also the bathroom is small, with a shower, no bath. The view at the back is not much (derelict buildings on the side and an office tower at the end), but these rooms are quiet (so you can sleep with open window if you like). Next to the small lobby is a bar area. Breakfast is also served there. Breakfast has limited choice, but is still okay. Advantage is that this hotel is in the heart of city centre, and everything in the centre is on walking distance. AlthoughI prefer other hotels, I would return to this hotel if necessary.

    « highly recommended »

Very comfortable and spacious rooms and good shower. Hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood and at walking distance from the city center (blokku). Good service, with free and fast wifi and tasty breakfast!

    « Great! »

If U plan to stay shortly in Tirana this is the right place. Spacious room, very comfortable bed, parking right in front of the building and very friendly servise. Within five walking minutes you can be at any of the top places to hang out with friends.

    « It was a new experience »

We've never visited Albania before and didn't know of anyone that has visited. Our travel agent, because they deal with Best Western Hotels, booked us this hotel as we didn't know how far we were from the people we were supposed to meet up with. I think the hotel only has 8 rooms. It is by far the smallest hotel I have ever been in. The first floor has a small reception area and a bar area. There are no elevators so our bags were carried up to the second floor. The first room I refused because even though it was a no smoking room, the room stunk of smoke. I asked for the room next door and honestly, it was no better, but when I thought about it, the whole hotel just stunk of smoke as everyone seems to smoke in Albania. Unfortunately, the toilet in the second room leaked for three days...each day the plumber came out and said he fixed it. Finally, on the third day, I told the gal at the front desk that I hope they weren't paying that plumber by the visit as he totally never fixed that toilet. When they offered us the original room, we took it and it turned out that even though it smelled of cigarette smoke (it was literally coming out of the air vents), it was a lovely, big suite. The bathroom was very modern and the room was nice and clean. The people there were very nice and did their best to try and understand what we were asking for in English. The people especially at the desk were very personable and very helpful in helping us find restaurants, bookstores and banks. It was very reasonable. It was $94 USD/night....a whole lot better than the Sheraton at almost $300 USD/night even though the Sheraton was very upscale. There was a small buffet every morning and while the eggs and sausage were always cold, the bread was fabulous and the coffee was good. I would have no issue staying at this Best Western again except for the cigarette smell everywhere in that hotel. It was convenient to restaurants and shopping. One thing should be remembered when visiting Albania and that is anywhere there, traffic lights are a suggestion and are not followed. I would never consider driving on my own there. People just step out in the middle of the street and no one follows traffic laws. Albania is a beautiful country....a diamond in the rough.

    « Nice small hotel »

Have been several times in Nov Hotel. If you are for a short visit to Tirana this hotel will fullfil your needs. Especially I would recommend this hotel during the winter. Rooms facing the football stadium have very nice fireplaces and hotel personel will always help you with the fire. Location is very good. Only 5 - 6 min walking distance to the very center of Tirana. Room facing the street or football stadium are almost perfect. Very very spacy ( at least 40 square metres ) with extra sofa and nice balcony with a fireplace in the middle of the room. Breakfast is included and it is a very good one.

    « Great hotel »

At start we have reservation in the other hotel but stuff in that hotel made a mistake and they arrange us this hotel instead. This is more expensive that we have reservation and the difference was payed by owner of that first hotel Broadway. This hotel is really great, rooms are big, clean, WI-FI all the time, bathroom is also very good and clean. The stuff was really helpful and they always ask you if you need something more. We had business early morning and we missed breakfast but they prepare us some sandwiches and fruit to bring with us. They were really great to us. I recommend this hotel to everyone. just arrange with them some parking if you can because traffic in Tirana is terrible, and try to walk as much as you can.

« Nice Hotel, well located »

This is a nice hotel, not very new but with spacious rooms and well renovated toilet. I was on second floor. The downsides: no elevator though there is always someone to carry your bags. Internet is free but POP3 emails will only download/receive, they have it blocked for sending emails. I don't understand why! The breakfast is very basic, I didn't eat much. I would stay in this hotel again probably because of the price and because the room was nice and could sleep well. This is not a top class hotel, but it is enough for business. Would not stay if on a tourism trip.

« Good value hotel in a good location »

We spent one night at the Nov hotel, the accommodation had been arranged for us by the Theranda hotel manager. We were very happy with the hotel, it was very centrally located, with friendly staff and a decent breakfast. We would recommend the hotel and would definitely consider staying here again.
