If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. My flight was cancelled and I missed the first night at the hotel. I asked that they not charge for that first night since I had no control over my flight being cancelled. They refused, which is their right. However, if they are going to stand firm on policies, then they should provide a room that meets the minimum of a clean experience. I checked in very late the first night and when I got to my room the shower was wet and a dirty towel was in the shower. I normally would have asked for a clean room but I was so tired. I just asked for towels and cleaned the shower myself. UNACCEPTABLE. But that wasn't the worst of it. The last night I got back to my room very late and when I went to use the bathroom, the toilet handle wouldn't work. The toilet was clogged. So, at midnight I had to open the back of the toilet and stick my hands in the tank and unclog it myself. TWICE. It was disgusting and gross and the first time I've ever had to do that in any hotel. I called down and expressed to the lady working that night (she was the one that brought me the towels and took the dirty one the first night) everything that had happened and asked that she raise with management. I said that I would like a call the next day to discuss my experience. I'm sure that she relayed the message. Of course they did not call. So do not stay at this hotel. Yes, things can happen but it's how the company responds to bad experiences that counts. Best Western in Rose City didn't bother to apologize or respond. I'll remind you again - dirty used shower upon check in that I had to clean and a clogged toilet that I had to personally unclog myself TWICE.
Excellent ! Very clean and everything worked perfectly . Great towels , great shower . Comfortable beds . It's a gem . Reservation easy and check in was also easy . Room ready when I requested it to be . Breakfast was adequate and varied . Very comfortable hotel with new curtain and rugs . Clean clean clean
I was in Thomasville for a work conference and stayed here. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. My conference provided breakfast most mornings so I didn't have a chance to enjoy the hotel's breakfast, but I did pop in one morning and everything looked fresh and the area was clean. The bed was very comfortable with soft sheets, the towels were soft and the shower water pressure was great! My room did stay quite humid the whole time and there were always a few gnats buzzing around... but it's August in South Georgia so that's almost to be expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel.
My family and I traveled to Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Ga and we stayed at the BW in Thomasville. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great! One man even extended our checkout three hours because we wanted to use the pool, but it was being cleaned at the time.
Staff is very friendly but my room didn't get cleaned for 2 days & I wasn't sitting in it all that time. Hotel needs a deep clean & some items need to be replaced. Breakfast is ok not great
The sane comfort & security of being at your house is what Best Western Plus offers, try for yourselves I promise you want be disappointed. Full hot breakfast, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed and secure peace of mind in parking on premises.
LONG POST ALERT!! Let me start off by saying I have stayed at this hotel numerous times since it was established. This is the first time I have considered not returning again. I remember this used to be the top hotel in Thomasville, with its main attraction being the beautiful marble tile walk in showers with the glass doors, removable shower handle and additional jet stream shower heads. The shower is the reason I don't consider other hotels. So, imagine my surprise when I hopped in the shower only to find the removable handle missing. Because I was already undressed and the room phone did not work, my daughter went to the front desk to ask that we be moved to another room (same type..suite). The representative then moved us to room 305. I can only speculate that the representative has no idea how all of the rooms in the hotel look because not only did room 305 NOT have the removable shower head, but it also had tile hanging from the ceiling, rust spots and it was super dirty (pictures provided). The hotel really needs to close room 305 until the situation is rectified. I asked for yet another room and was told they had "overbooked" and no more rooms were available, so I told her I would go back to my original room. This was for a 3-night stay so I was definitely not happy. I spoke with the manager at 11pm when I came back from visiting family and explained what happened. He seemed shocked when I showed him pics of room 305. He mentioned that a lot of the rooms are intentionally missing the removable handle for leak issues. My other daughter and her family as well as my brother had the removable handle, but just like my shower, the water drained so slowly in their showers that the water would be up to our ankles when showering which is pretty disgusting. Anyway, I asked the manager if there were any more rooms available and he said "we are full...you know that". He said the best he could do to compensate me for my inconvenience was to give me 10.00 off my room. So I said I would talk to corporation because they have more power. That is when another room became available, but it was almost midnight. I was not going to uproot my sleeping daughter and grandbaby. That available room should have been presented when I had asked the representative earlier in the day. The other issue was the heated pool was not heated. These are things that should be stated on the website so that potential customers can make an informed decision on whether to stay there. A simple "pardon our inadequate showers and unheated pool, we are in the process of remodification" on the website would help to quell some of the complaints I see in the reviews. because the customers will already know what they are paying a large sum of money for. Lastly, the last time I stayed here there was a roach infestation problem. Thankfully at that time I was moved to a different floor/room that did not have any roaches. Though i did not see any small roaches in my room this time, a fairly large cockroach came off the elevator like he was one of the paying customers. It was comical because I was watching him from a distance. It would not have been a laughing matter if we had been on the elevator at the same time. I know this is a long rant. I just want management and Claire to do more than just say we hope you have a better visit next time. Be transparent and update your website and also stop saying there are no other rooms available when clearly there are.
Family just moved into area. Not enough room to stay there. So, we chose this hotel because of proximity to them. Very well apportioned hotel. Sleeping was comfortable. End room was very quiet. Awesome shower! Three heads were just what we needed after the long drive there. Breakfast station was complete with the usual selections. Nice waffle maker. This will be our go to hotel when we visit again.
Comfy beds, clean and tidy rooms, good breakfast selection, and very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to everything in Thomasville with restaurants within walking distance. The pizza place is a don't miss meal.
These were three days which we had set aside to visit the Thomasville area as our May trip. Everything was great and the Inn room was not even on our worry chart. Clean ,comfortable and was made up everyday! Internet was quick and easy to log in. Pool was clean and well kept. It could have been warmer but was refreshing after coming in from 90 degree heat in May. Sauna was broken was only area that needed attention!
Clean and spacious easy access to main highway and close to downtown. Staff was friendly and polite.
Comfortable stay with excellent customer service. Peaches (staff person) was the greatest! Decent breakfast. Nice area with restaurants within walking distance.
Hotel and Room were okay, not great. Employees were friendly. Room showed signs of wear and there were surfaces and areas that looked like they were not cleaned/dusted for months. Shower head had rust. Beds were hard. Breakfast was basic.
I have been staying at this hotel since it first opened, I believe it was 2008. I've always enjoyed the accommodations and services. It is time for major repairs and upgrades. The restrooms and showers in all the rooms I've stayed in in the past 5 years have needed repairs. The telephones and televisions need repairs and upgrades.
Price quoted at check-in was $20 higher than the advertised price and 35% higher than similar properties. We selected this hotel for the pool. It was shut down for repairs and had been for sometime. NO sign was posted about pool closure at the check-in desk.
I love this Best Western. The management is always willing to stop and talk to you. They don't hide in the back office because they are proud of their property and their staff. The staff is great. They greet you like your really welcomed. One staff member hasn't seen meet in well over two years and she said welcome back and asked me about a family member in town because she knew that's why I was there. That's how you know they regard you as family.
I stay here at least once every two months and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and issue free 98% of the time. The rare occasions there are small issues, the staff quickly fixes or moves me to another room. To be totally transparent, I do think the rooms can be a little pricey sometimes but they are consistent with other hotels in the area.
While traveling to Pine Mountain we spent the night in Thomasville. Staying at the best western was a good choice. Very friendly, clean, comfy bed and pillows. Very nice breakfast. Food was hot and very clean area. Friendly and helpful.
Our room was very clean, we arrive very late at night and the front desk person (Cindy) was awesome! Very welcoming and helpful. All the stay we encountered were friendly and pleasant. The parking lot was well lit, very clean and felt safe. We enjoyed our stay.
The front staff was warm and welcoming. The room was clean and well kept. We would recommend this hotel and encourage guests to explore the downtown areas as they have some great shops and restaurants!
This hotel is nice, up to date, and clean. All of the staff, front desk, food service, house keeping and maintenance, were very nice, friendly and helpful. No matter which shift! Some places act like you are a bother, but not here. The breakfast was great! Bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, fresh waffles, grits, cereal, yogurt, bagels, muffins and more. The best part - I had to add a night, and got a rate cheaper than I paid on hotwire. Call them first!
No complaints, short drive fro Tallahassee. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The banquet was large with plenty of room to dance. Looking forward to going back and enjoying the "out of town feeling"
The Ballroom carpet is disgusting and need to be replaced. The maintenance guy made no effort to clean the carpet. The AC was not working during our event and was extremely hot in the ballroom. The rooms smell moldy and musty. The hallways had no air and they were extremely hot also. I will not be staying here again until they make some changes. They are going Best Westen a bad name right now.
Great customer service and very friendly staff!! The interaction with the staff was always friendly and positive. The room was cleaned on a daily basis and restocked with fresh towels. The breakfast was great and the food was fresh.
Not a long drive from downtown Thomasville. The hotel was fine but nothing special. GM (or man who appeared to be in charge) was extremely friendly. Breakfast was adequate but should be available longer. Would be better if hotel could provide more assistance in getting downtown.
We absolutely love Claire and her team here. From the minute you walk in , you feel like they want you to be there as their guest . Rooms are very clean , breakfast was alway hot and plentiful, staff was always engaging with guests. We enjoyed the indoor pool with the grandkids.
This facility has some very nice features, but it is well past due for its time to be refurbished. There are two very large ballrooms and there's plenty of parking, but the rooms are very run down with noisy air conditioners. Our bathroom had moldy ceilings and moldy caulk around the shower enclosure. Plumbing and lighting fixtures in the bathroom were rusty. The staff was very nice in accomodating our early check-in and replaced towels, shampoo, etc. early every day. Breakfast was just ok, there are not enough tables and chairs to accomodate the number of rooms they have, and the food was not as good as we usually get when we stay at Hampton Inns or Holiday inn Express.
This hotel would be really nice if they did some renovations to the rooms. For the price that you are paying, it is not worth it. There was plaster falling off the wall in the bathroom and from around the air conditioner unit. The ceiling was repaired sloppily.
My wife and i "fled" to Thomasville, GA, to escape Hurricane Ian. Our choice was totally random based on weather forecasts. We lucked out. Both the town and the hotel were excellent! It turned into the best vacation we're had in years!
We had a wonderful trip and we loved the hotel. Wonderful staff and very attentive. Our room was comfortable and welcoming. The Queen suite was spacious with comfortable beds and furniture. We have everything we needed.
For what we paid for the room, I expected more. The pool was not operating and this was not mentioned upon check-in or on the website. The elevator and hallway to our room felt like a sauna. The tv in the bedroom had terrible reception while the one in the living room was fine. The room was not equipped with the appropriate linens for the bathroom nor sleeper sofa. We had to go downstairs and retrieve them. The little sundry area barely had anything and only had Diet Coke and water to buy as drinks. The one shining star of this room was the shower. It had multiple shower heads and a bench. My daughter loved this and took two “showers” that night. That alone was not worth the amount of money we paid however.
We travel to Georgia for our daughter's funeral and had the best stuff possible. Upon checking I was greeted with a hug from Shanda and in our room we found a personally signed condolence card from the entire staff. Never a time we didn't receive a hay or a good morning. The breakfast was great, the shower was amazing and the room was clean and comfortable. Again amazing staff!
Everything was great, room bathroom etc... we cooked out in the parking lot and came up, noticed steak wasn't fully done, went back down, came back up and a ROACH was on my plate near the microwave..... The plate(which I got in the breakfast area) had nothing on it(maybe smell).. have a pic of it.
Nice Hotel. Friendly staff. Big room, comfy beds. Breakfast is very poor, compared to European hotels. Coffee corner available at all times. Good location, easy access. Plenty of parking. Helpful and friendly staff. Probably will choose a different hotel next time - breakfast is important to me.
Well pleased with the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the room was clean. The shower was huge and the breakfast was good. It was close to restaurants and fast food also. Would gladly stay again. The price was a little high but was probably worth it for the clean rooms and hotel.
I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room we stay in was very clean and all amenities worked. The overall place was very clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere. If ever in Thomasville, GA again, this is my place to stay.
This is the second time staying here. Very close to all kinds of yummy food! The suite was more than enough room to invite guests over for visiting. The pool looked a little dirty so we did not use it.
This is a very Nice hotel in a convenient location. It has great amenities with a pool and a gym. The breakfast is really good with several options. Ashley and Brandy are great along with the rest of the wonderful staff! Thanks for a great stay
Great service, comfortable bed, immaculate room. It was in a safe location and very quiet. Would recommend to everyone. The staff was exceptionally nice. The stay was wonderful and exceeded my expectations
I experienced no difficulties while I stayed at this hotel, military discount was applied and the room was in great working order, nice shower and very clean, will surely stay again the next time I have to travel to this area.
It was not what was expected for a Best Western. Needs to be updated and get it back to the level of a Best Western. You don't get your room clean so if you need anything such as clean towels have to request them at desk; then the old ones were not taken just the new ones where on sink counter. TV didn't work properly, Shower was nice but you have to figure out which turn on knob is for what shower head and the one for hot and cold.
Great Best Western.. Great Staff. Food close by. Quiet rooms. Breakfast excellent. Great location on Highway 19 in Thomasville Georgia. Food was quite tasty. Clean rooms,. Frond desk very helpful and very efficient. Stay was a good experience.
When our office people booked this room for me I was skeptical, but then pleasantly surprised. It was clean and up to date. The people were friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was better than average. It's in a nice walkable area with restaurants within walking distance.
Smelled terrible- customer service is worthless. Stay away!!!!!!! They overcharged me and are refusing to give me a partial refund. There are way better hotels in the area, don't make the same mistake I did.
Brandi at the front desk was rude, unhelpful and just plain horrible. She refused to take our Rewards number and said it was someone else's job to credit us our Best Western $20 gift card. She raised her voice at me when I asked if we would get BW points credit for our stay. Her exact words: “I don't know how that works”. When checking out, another employee (helpful) had to go find her and once again, Brandi was rude and said someone else would credit our account in 5-7 days. Our previous night BW stay in Americus Georgia was wonderful and they credited our gift certificate without question and with pleasure. The hotel itself was very nice, but the whole stay was soured by the interaction with their reception. Why would a hospitality business put someone who obvious hates their job to greet their customers?
The front desk clerk was very ill and did not even wear a mask. When we asked why our room was not made up, we were told it was becasue we didn't ask to have it done. Since when do you need to ask for clean towels? After almost two weeks, we still have not received our promised gift cards.
To begin, they changed my reservation because my room was “out of order” and didn't even contact me. I showed up to the hotel and they had “upgraded” me to the King suite for $170. I informed them that I would just like a regular room- I made the reservation 2 months ago and I don't want to pay $50 extra for a sitting room with a couch, as it's just me and my husband and we are going to a wedding so we will be out the whole night and don't need that room. They told me they're sold out and charged me full price for the room they selected without my permission. I either had to walk or take the room, and as the wedding started in a hour I didn't have time to try to find another place on the 4th of July weekend. The room smelt funky. You can hear everything-including someone taking a shower in the room above you. The hallway had a huge smell of weed, alcohol, and there was even a dirty diaper sitting out there. The AC was messed up. The room said it was 72 degrees, but it was hot in there. Overall the hotel is old and out of date. Ultimately, my main issue though is the fact that they changed my reservation the day of and didn't even tell me until I checked in and made me pay full price for the room they selected for me. While I complained of the room change and up charge, management never spoke to me and no one addressed my issues other than the girl at the counter who said she was new and didn't know what to do. It's pretty crazy to think I paid $170 for a crappy, dirty, smelly, overpriced hotel room when the holiday inn and express is right next door and had rooms for around $115. I would have for sure stayed there if I knew how this was going to turn out.
Room was ok for the money but the customer service is horrendous. I was forced to have my key card re-coded each night of my stay. When I tried to explain that this was a hassle the two gals at the desk we dismissive to the point of stating I must be doing something wrong. When I tried to reach out to the sales manager Claire she did not return my call. The internet was very week and the TV channels left much to be desired.
Let me start by saying that the only bright spot in this stay was Quonia, at the front desk who did everything possible to make the stay go well. She was at a disadvantage since there wasn't much she could do about the physical limitations of the hotel. First off, the original room we received was ok but when we entered we were met with the blast of the AC Compressor. It vibrated the room and sounded as if it were in the room itself. It was deafening. Quoinia was quick to try and help us out and she personally inspected a number of rooms before offering us another. Unfortunately for her, the new room worked out to be nearly as bad as the first. We stayed in that room but there was not a restful night's sleep. In the morning, we found that the elevator was out of order. This caused more issues since my wife has trouble negotiating stairs and we were on the 3rd Floor. All in all, the stay was terrible and I will not use the Best Western brand again any time soon.
The hotel was very clean and quiet. We travel with a boat so parking can be difficult but the large parking area in the back was very adequate. Parking area lighting was decent. We typically leave hotels early in the mornings, well before daylight. Lighting is important. Non hotel guests did circle through the parking area a few times while loading to leave. That's not a hotel issue but type of town/people issue. The area of the hotel was actually a nice area of town. We have to be vigilant everywhere we stay at that time of morning.
Front desk personnel are wonderful, so friendly. Rooms are nice, clean. Due to COVID there is no daily cleaning but that suits me, they will give you fresh towels if you ask. We have to go up frequently and always stay at this particular Best Western.
We were so pleased with our stay at this hotel. Everyone was gracious and helpful. I asked about a handicap room and was told they all are. I wanted a "comfort height toilet" due to a recent fall and it was there! The stay was very comfortable....we will stay here again for sure!
I was denied a top floor room which I requested. There is usually running and doors slamming. They no longer offer a hot breakfast, but the rates are still the same. I will probably try the new hotel in town. But I will say it's not completely bad.
This hotel was extremely clean and the staff were great. The rooms were some of the nicest I have seen in a while and well maintained. And with Longhorn just across the street it was very convenient! Will stay here anytime I am in the Area!
This hotel was very clean and the guest was simply friendly. I enjoyed walking the ground and enjoyed the outside as much as I did the inside. Very quiet and peaceful. My husband and I said we would gladly come back when we are in the area. Safe, clean environment.
When booking your reservations, be very careful that you speak with the hotel and not a third party. I called the direct number for Best Western Hotel and thought that was who I was making my reservation through. It turned out that I had spoken with a third party who did reveal themselves as such. Needless to say, issues resulted.
Staff very friendly and polite. Great location. Restaurants next door and across the street all in walking distance. The only con about Best Western was one staff member; Demetria. Otherwise very happy with our stay.
We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past with good experiences, but this particular trip was very poor. Front desk staff gave the keys to our room to another guest and placed us in a smaller room (single bed instead of two) than we paid for. We were still charged for the larger room, and our reservation was not updated in the system which caused confusion at check out. Front desk staff did not wear masks or follow posted COVID protocols, and told other guests that they did not need to. As we were in town for a COVID related funeral, this was particularly irritating. The room we were given keys to had very poor sound insulation, so that we could hear the front desk person's conversations from our room.
We were visiting family for several days. The hotel was clean, staff was cordial, room was a decent size(double queen suite) for our family of 5. The two television were helpful. Unfortunately, our bed did not provide a comfortable night's sleep for my husband and I but toddler and teen were fine. Due to the pandemic, we could not use the pool or other amenities and the breakfast was a to go bag containing a small/medium muffin, an apple and bottle of water. :( The stay provide a clean fairly comfortable place for our family to shower and rest while visiting extended family. I would stay here again because it is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants and my family.
The hotel offered limited service because of CV19. I was very comfortable with this plan of action. No one cane in my room not even for cleaning. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a very pleasent stay. I highly reccomend this hotel.
i always love this place when i come in town. this is the first place that i come to know. the staff is wonderful and the place is clean. i mean i love the shower. all i can say is oh my god.but if you every stay. check it out. thanks
Location good, cleanliness ok, and really needs some updating. Shower only got warm not hot. The queen size bed room I chose was actually full size. Overall wasn't terrible, but wasn't satisfied. Location was pretty good though.
This hotel is very clean with updated rooms. It is convenient to most things in the area and you can walk to many places to eat. The bed was very comfortable and the staff very good. There are a few hotels in the same area, but this provided the best value for the stay.
My husband and son stayed here recently to attend a family funeral. They liked having two televisions in the room and enjoyed the comfort and the sitting area. The room also had a small fridge and a microwave. Clean rooms with a nice staff.
Clean, comfortable. Typical breakfast run by amiable and caring folks. Hotel overpriced for the location - asks price range more compatible with bigger city pricing, rather than a small town like Thomasville. Wifi very weak and slow
Hotel staff was friendly, bed was very comfortable and overall the hotel was clean and I enjoyed my stay there. Close proximity to restaurants too. Would have liked to see fresher, higher quality breakfast items, but there was a big variety to choose from. Would recommend this hotel if you are in the area.
I was in town on business and spent the night. The hotel was very comfortable, clean and convenient. All of the amenities for a business traveler. What really made the BW stand out was the fantastic front desk staff. They were very friendly and helpful. I forgot something in my toilet kit and they had a replacement immediately. Also, not knowing where to have dinner, the front desk recommended a wonderful place (see separate review for Jonah's) in renovated downtown Thomasville. It was about 10 minutes away, but I never would have experienced a great meal and walking around the downtown area without the recommendation.
We stayed over one night. The location was great, the staff was friendly, room was clean, awesome water pressure in the shower, bed was comfortable. What more could you ask for? Maybe a quieter AC unit in the room-very loud when it came on. The breakfast was average and the breakfast staff was very friendly. Would come back if passing through the area again.
The hotel's staff was most accommodating, but the facility was not what I was expecting. From the grand scheme of things, the hotel's grounds were deceiving compared to the rooms. The rooms were older and plain.
This is a very nice hotel. Room was spacious, shower is unique. I was in a suite so a regular room might be different. Good staff, free breakfast. My only complaints; The Internet is very slow. And the TV guide (printed) is very complicated, a four digit input.
Great location very clean, very friendly staff and breakfast selection was wonderful. The room was clean and very comfortable. I would recommend this location to anyone for business or leisure as they offer several options.
This is a very new Best Western. Well maintained facility with rooms and amenities of what you would expect from most chains. I'm use to BW's being old, dilapidated, with old carpet and bathrooms. You won't see that here. Very nice rooms. I thought the room expensive (about $10-$15 higher than the Hampton down the street), but I would pay for it again on my next trip. Very nice hotel.
We were at Best Western today (8-21) and had a special request that was above and beyond the normal. Angela and the front desk staff handled it with humor and efficiency and we were very appreciative. Kind of hospitality that makes Thomasville a great place to visit...or live...and this a great place to stay while here.
Pleasant, clean, awesome breakfast, pool indoors loud with 9 people, lol (3 adults, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.) Pool and all was great. Plenty of free parking, beautiful grounds, and sitting out on patios. 1 outside pool and 1 outside the lobby on the left.
My family stayed 2 notes at Best Western Plus while attending a Family Reunion. In speaking for the group; we couldn't have been more pleased with out stay- from the appearance, the cleanliness, and the staff; all were very courteous, accomodating & professional at all times.
Husband and I recently spent a comfortable evening at the Best Western Plus Rose City Conference Center. Taylor went over and above to make us feel welcome and familiarize us with Thomasville. She offered dining suggestions and went out of her way to make sure we would have everything we could possibly need for a comfortable evening. Every time we passed the front desk she had a sincere smile and kind words for us. Our room was just fine - very clean with a comfy king bed, desk, and arm chair. The bath area was well stocked with linens and all the toiletries one could ask for. Breakfast did not disappoint. We found a variety of hot and cold cereal, fruit, juice, milk, yogurt, eggs, tender biscuits, sausage gravy, and of course lots of hot coffee. Would definitely stay here again.
This is our 2nd visit in a months time. We love this hotel except the noisy ac's. We had a room last month with a noisy ac. I'm a light sleeper so it kept me awake most of the night. We arrived again for a two night stay and were assigned room 203. Same issue with noise from the ac. My husband went back down to check in and was able to get another room 303. Same issue with ac. I would have given a rating of five except for this issue. Rooms are very large, clean and the beds are amazing. Barbara who takes care of the breakfast area is amazing. Very attentive and so sweet. All the other staff are very friendly.
This Best Western was easy to find and centrally located for our purposes. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The front desk staff was exceptional. All personnel were very friendly and accommodating.
There was an event being held at the hotel, about which we had not been notified, that was extremely loud . We had noise in our room until 12:30 a.m. and, despite several calls to the front desk, nothing was done to correct this issue. I have tried to communicate with the hotel directly about this issue, but have not received a response to date.
My husband and I stayed for one night. We had a warm welcome from staff. The room was nice, and large enough. They are in the process of remodeling or painting the 2nd floor. Great stay! Don't forget to use the 15% off coupon in the Thomasville visitors guide!
It was a pleasant stay. Really above average but the forced choice circles do not give that option. The location appears to be pretty new. Staff were courteous. Breakfast pretty good for this level. Room was spacious. We had the suite. Housekeeping appears to be on the ball. Price was fair. Good business stay.
Very nice hotel! The room was spacious, the shower had 4 shower heads, there were 2 tv's, and everything was very clean. There were complimentary cold waters in the fridge and complimentary snacks on the bed upon arrival. Check in was quick and easy. Check out was just as quick and easy. Highly recommend this hotel!
This is the most welcoming hotel! You feel like part of the family here! The Breakfast is the BEST of any hotel!!!!! If you are in Thomasville Ga for a business trip or family trip, I recommend you stay here! The Best of the Best for sure! Ms Clare and Ms Barbara are wonderful. Whitney did an awesome job of making checking in fast and easy! This is the only hotel I prefer to stay in when in town
This hotel is way overpriced for what they deliver. I am very disappointed each time I stay here. The hallways and shower areas need to be repaired and painted. Fix the peeling wallpaper. Fix the ceiling with plaster coming off due to water leaks. Tune up the whole place!
Stayed here for my annual trip to Fla. No surprises. Great room, great staff and great breakfast. Love having shower only in the bathroom. Beds comfortable and room clean. Brea k fast hostess was friendly and made sure guests had what they needed. Thanks for consistently great service.
There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling that made the whole bathroom floor wet. I had to put the towels down to absorb the water. The water was also leaking into the globe of the light fixture. I thought that could be very dangerous, so I reported the leak to the front desk. They came in and poured the water out of the globe, but the leak did not completely stop. I had to put the trash can under the leak to prevent the floor from getting wet.
The staff here was professional and friendly. Loved the shower with multiple shower heads. The fitness center was always available and clean. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again my next visit.
This hotel is the best i have stayed. Very clean, comfortable and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay. I did not have any issues, was even offered extra blankets and sheets at check in.
Stayed for a family wedding weekend. Sleeper sofa could not be used as a bed because the mattress was so stained and gross. No extra blankets or sheets in the room for the couch. When I called the front desk and asked to have some sent up, was told that I would have to come down because they were too busy. Waited several hour stayed for a family wedding that weekend. Sleeper sofa could not be used as a bed because the mattress was so stained and gross. No extra blankets or sheets in the room for the couch. When I called the front desk and asked to have some sent up, was told that I would have to come down because the employee was by herself and the lobby was too busy. I couldn't go down to get them, because of a sleeping child. Had to wait several hours until my husband came back from the wedding reception to get the items. Stayed 2 nights and did not have someone come in to clean the room or empty the trash while we were there. Had to go downstairs to get extra towels and washcloths. When my husband was checking out on her last day, he told the staff about the issues that we had, and we were given no apology. Just giving a statement that we already gotten a good deal on our rate. Had other family members staying at the same hotel with other issues at the same time - rodent droppings, laptop missing from a room , etc. employees very unhelpful!
This hotel is in a very good location as there are restaurants within walking distance. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly. You might want to take the time to visit the Big Tree in the area. It is really worth seeing.
We visited only 4 days after Hurricane Micheal the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again! The room was clean and multiple restaurants nearby that you can even walk. Breakfast was very good.
Very nice property with very nice help. The ONLY problem was that the cord for the coffee maker would not reach the plug on the wall. The TV cabinet needs to be moved a foot or two so it will reach. That is my only complaint with this location. Check in and out was very easy with a smile and good attitude. We will use the location again for sure.
This hotel was very beautiful. The room was clean and decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and willing to help. The front desk clerk was wonderful. The check in was quick.
My family stayed at this hotel for FSU Parents Weekend, to save a few $$$ from the crazy rates being charged in Tallahassee. The hotel was clean, and the staff friendly and accommodating! The bathroom was nice and tidy, and the bedding and decor wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel!
I always enjoy my stay at this hotel when I visit relatives. The front desk staff is consistently helpful with requests for assistance and provides excellent guest services with a very pleasant and caring disposition.
After much research into the hotels in Thomasville this one appeared to have the best reviews for the most reasonable price and I'm very glad that I chose it. It sits just East of the centre of Thomasville off highway 19 and only a ten minute drive from the historic downtown area. There are many restaurants within walking distance such as Longhorn Steakhouse and Whattaburger but we had great meals at Sonny's BBQ and a nice lunch at Grassroots Coffee downtown. There is a Publix supermarket across the highway, and a Walmart just North up the highway. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, the lobby area is nice and spacious and sits below a huge chandelier that all 5 floors look out to. There is a small gym open 24 hours a day for residents and also a pool and sauna open from 10am til 10pm. There is also a small shop across from reception where you can buy drinks and snacks. The breakfast is lovely and managed by an absolutely delightful lady who is just like your favourite Grandma. Her work motto is "No one goes hungry on my watch"! and she really goes the extra mile to make sure everyone is fed and happy, and will even fix some extra food for you even if you are a little late for the 9.30am breakfast closing, or need to leave a little before it opens at 6.30am I think. She had great tips for warming up the hard boiled eggs, and also showed me how to make grits! There is a good choice of drinks and food with the usual buffet choice incl scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, biscuits, bread and meats etc. The only thing lacking for me was a help yourself fresh fruit bowl. There are bananas and apples available however. The parking lot is easily large enough for all guests and conference attendees. The room was large, and no sound from the highway outside can be heard. The bathroom had a nice large shower with the choice of three different types of shower head and even a seat. The beds were comfortable and the room very clean. It is also the first hotel I have ever seen that provides clean TV remotes, which are infamously the least hygenic item in any hotel room! I really enjoyed my stay and will return for all my future visits to lovely Thomasville
Clean room and we were happy to have it! Members of a honor program to another chain but they wanted way too much! We used Priceline for this. All was good. Only exception would have been the pullout couch. VERY HARD!
Being a travel agent I rate this property as one of the best. Very clean, friendly staff, close to restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions for the area. Easy to get to when driving. Wonderful breakfast which is very important for families with small children.
Nice hotel. I wasn't familiar with the chain.. Typical hotel size..Room clean Shower was awesome 3 different shower heads.. good breakfast had eggs. variety of meats..Decent front desk help..Price is typical for area..since little competition..A little sticker shock when coming from metro Atlanta or Orlando area which I could have gotten a four star for the same price
Excellent staff, excellent breakfast, clean rooms, enjoyed the indoor pool, only thing is Sauna not working. Had a mishap, but staff solved the issue right away! The two patios were really niceand location was ideal, would stay again.
Clean, quiet no surprises at a fair price. Would you definitely want to stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is look for a place to stay in Thomasville, Ga. Easy to get to nice restaurants close by. And a very friendly staff.
Clean, comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff. Ms Barbara in the Breakfast area has the best breakfast of any Hotel I have ever stayed at. She makes a great pot of coffee too! She likes to make sure her guest have everything in her Breakfast room to make them feel at home. Never old eggs.. always fresh and tasty.
My home away from home friendly staff great rooms shopping and dinning within walking distance, overall a great place to stay. Perfect place to have your business confrences or social gatherings. also perfect for staying longer periods of time.
If you can swing the extra $, I recommend getting the two queen beds room because you also get a pullout couch and extra TV. As a family, we loved the extra amenities. The only thing I would say is that they need an extra elevator (the one they have can take quite a while during busy times) AND go down to breakfast earlier rather than later.
Stayed here while visiting daughter at college. I would highly recommend this or the Spring Hill in town if staying in thomasville. The hotel has a few eateries near by. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Seemed to be enough parking too.
For a stopover stay, this hotel is great. It was clean, we could park right outside of our room, and the breakfast was adequate. To be clear, however, you are directly next to an Army Airfield and have LOUD jets and helicopters flying overhead frequently. It can wake you up if you go to bed early but they seemed to stop for the overnight hours.
The room was very clean and stocked with complimentary snacks and water. The fitness center was small, but suited my purposes as I only used the treadmill. Due to my travel schedule, I left early before breakfast started and was not able to check out the free breakfast.
Check-in was helpful. Close to shopping and restaurants. VERY CLEAN ROOMS! The shower was AMAZING! Needed later check out as I am going through chemo and was sick, they told me I could stay as ling as I needed. Will DEFINITELY stay again!
Reading other reviews, I called the actual location to ask a few questions. The staff was very nice but I'd been given a military rate and had said I wanted to have a double bed room. When we checked in, with a different person the next day, I was told military rate is only a king size room or they'd have to charge me full rate for the double I'd requested. They did provide a cot but still each person answering customer calls should be given a hard copy of what the actual policies are. Unfortunately I did not receive an email to verify what I had reserved. Regardless, they let me check in a few minutes early, even though my room wasn't yet cleaned. I only needed to drop off bags and run back to our tournament. I'd also asked when I called if the pool was heated & working. It was either not working or whomever sets the temperature is out of their mind. It was freezing, even the young kids were complaining. Ok so yes we're in the south but it's March w/ a cold snap. When I'd asked about the pool heater, would have been a good time to mention the sauna was out of order. The pictures of the pool are not how it really looks. The hotel itself is nice, every staff member I've met has been beyond gracious, the breakfast was about the same as you get at most hotels that offer a better quality breakfast. Our room was clean, the beds comfortable & I'd asked to be put in a more quiet location, we all slept great.
This is a great BW. The staff was very nice. When we came here our room was not yet ready, although the front attendant quickly was able to get me another room. The room when I got into it was very clean. The bed was soft and so were the pillows. I enjoy that they invested in a "fresh remote". We used one of the Conference and it was VERY Big and met our needs. Service was quick and all of the staff was friendly. I'd stay here again.
I stayed here for a scrapbooking event with two friends. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and what stuck out to me was that this hotel had very helpful and friendly staff, especially at the front desk. The room was fine (two double beds and a pullout), there was ample parking and the little store had $2 sodas and $1 bottled water. There was a guest laundry on the top floor that we utilized. This was one of the better stays I've had at a Best Western.
If you must come to Thomasville GA the place to stay. I have tried all 3 major chains, none are even comparable. Internet, for those of us that travel for work, easy to connect to with decent speeds. Lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Tonight my check in was wonderful, excellent service- thank you Whitney!!
We have stayed here numerous times. Nice, clean hotel with a good breakfast. Boxes of cereal, waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, coffee. Breakfast sitting area needs to be bigger. Hard to get a table when the hotel is full.
I'm not sure if it was our room but it is the only common denominator. My two daughters and I stayed in room 323 and within one day we all got a stomach virus. Vomiting and diarrhea. We were here for just 2 nights for a wedding - which I missed because of this awful virus. We arrived on 12/29 and left on 12/31. It was not a pleasant stay. Actually the worst experience I've ever had. Also no one cleaned our room. It would have been nice - especially the bathroom since everyone was so sick.
With the price of this hotel I expected the bathroom to be a bit cleaner and cable channel lineup to have more choices and better reception and WiFi speed a lot faster, but not worth the price I paid.
Spent 3 days here when visiting son in Thomasville. Very clean, well maintained and very helpful and pleasant staff. We make this trip several times yearly and have found this hotel to be the best quality and value in Thomasville.
Claire Hoxie is an asset -- front desk staff always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast food excellent, bed wonderful, rooms roomy and clean. Wonderful stay always! Shopping, restaurants in walking distance.
Great customer service. Alesha and the others at the front desk did an excellent job with our wedding party. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was accommodated. Great job guys. We had individuals traveling from various parts of the US and they made sure the check in/check out process was smooth.
Very clean, well kept inside and out. Pleasant helpful employees. Will stay there again if in the area. We arrived with a group and all were satisfied and very well pleased with this hotel. Breakfast had ample options. Breakfast area very clean and person working there was helpful and friendly.
We stayed at BW for our Thanksgiving Family event this year. I must say, it was well worth it. The staff from the front desk to breakfast service was very helpful. The conference room we utilized for our dinner was very spacious and accommodating. The lobby was well decorated with Christmas décor.
I was exhausted when I arrived. The comfort of the hotel and the ambiance was WONDERFUL!!! The shower, OMGoodness!!!! FIVE SHOWER HEADS!!!! And the comfort of the bed was EXHILARATING!!!! And best of all, ALL of the employees went out of their way with kindness! I will stay at the BW whenever I visit Thomasville!
We booked our rooms together for a wedding party and then ended up on opposite ends of the building. I was charged the wrong amount (double what I was paying) and it was not disclosed to me that it was refunded and the right amount adjusted. I found out when my credit card company sent me a fraud alert.
Had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western Plus in Thomasville, GA. Quick and easy check-in - my key was ready when I arrived. The King room was surprisingly large and well furnished (though the ottoman showed a good bit of wear.) The bathroom had a shower with multiple shower head options and a seat. The breakfast was a cut above the usual free breakfast at most chains. While I didn't have time to use it, the exercise room was also larger with more options than most typical hotel chains in this price range. Will definitely stay upon return trips to Thomasville.
A very pleasant check-in experience at the time of my visit. The friendly check-in staff at this hotel makes it all worth staying. During check-in, the front desk clerk was extremely helpful, courteous and professional. Thank you!
The clerk at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. It had 2 tvs in it. I was able to sit on the couch to watch tv. It was nice to be able to sit and not have to look across the room to see the tv. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was awesome. It has a bench in it and above shower heads. The only complaint I have about the room was the light timers in the bathroom. I had to get out of the shower twice to get the light to come back on. The breakfast was ok. I've had better. The milk was spoiled. I didn't realize it until I poured it into my coffee and saw chunks floating. I looked and noticed it was a couple of days out of date. I notified the lady working in the dining area. She brought me out fresh milk but never removed the old milk cartons from the frig. They have an indoor pool, but I didn't visit it. I would stay here again.
Always consistent good service and very comfortable stay. Room very clean and everything in working order. Love the shower only concept in the room. Wish all hotels were built this way. Breakfast was very good. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
Great and wonderful place to relax or have an event. Enjoyed my recent stay while visiting near by for my College Reunion. The rooms were excellent and the staff was outstanding. If you would like a relaxing getaway, I recommend BW. Enjoyed it very much.
The hotel overall was nice. Did not get to use the Sauna or pool due to repairs. But was initially charged the wrong rate. When it was corrected they debited my charge account twice. Then once it was fixed they did the same thing on check out . Pulled the money for my stay off of my credit card but placed an additional hold for the same amount on my card that took 4 days to remove.
This was the best stay at any hotel in years. Inside and out was professionally and wonderfully maintained. Thanks Dee for being wonderful. The room was great - with plenty of room for a family if needed. Clean with complimentary snacks. I have not stayed with Best Western before, now they are on the top of the list.
The hotel is very beautiful! The rooms are very comfortable! There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. We stayed here for four nights while visiting a family member at the hospital. It was a five minute drive which was so helpful. The breakfast had a nice variety. The staff was very accommodating especially Whitney who always smiled and made sure to ask if we needed anything. We also witnessed a family having a wedding while we were checking in one day and it was beautiful! I highly recommend this hotel it is close to restaurants and is so very elegant.
Staff is great, the room not so much hole in the wall bad wall repairs at the shower, water damaged ceiling (mold) painted over, bed room walls looked like they had magic marker scars all over them. For 140 a night no.
Recently had an overnight stay and would absolutely stay there again when in Thomasville. Clean , friendly staff !! Love the shower with a door .. No sticky shower curtain !!! Great location with walking distance to several restaurants.
There were many of us in the same boat, and the hotel staff treated all of the same way, with concern and compassion. This the second time my wife and I had to run from a hurricane to the same hotel, and where treated the same way by the staff.
We came to BWP Rose City from West Central Florida during Hurricane Irma. I must say, the wonderful staff at Best Western made us all feel like family. They even did a Pizza party for the guest Friday night. Every morning they worked so hard to make sure all guest had a hot and delicious meal. The Sales Manager Clair, made sure we all had cold bottled water and sodas! This was above and beyond what a hotel has to do!! They even helped us out by offering those who did not have laundry soap, boxes FREE! We played BINGO in the dining room for fun. Everyone worked together to make all of our stay as comfortable as possible! I, myself am very greatful for all the staff at Best Western has done...Way too many to name! Everyone from management, to front desk, to housekeeping, to kitchen, to maint. were AWESOME!! It was wonderful to be at a place where everyone worked to keep us doing things to help while we did not know what was happening to our homes in Florida! They also let people bring pets and had dog and cat food to help them out along with doggie treats! ( I do not have pets, but this was way above and beyond ) I for one, will be forever Thankful for these amazing people!
While fleeing SW Florida and Hurricane Irma, my family and I were fortunate enough to find a room at the Best Western Plus in Thomasville. From my initial phone call, the staff has been truly amazing. Alexis was so incredibly kind and helpful throughout the check in process, and every staff member has treated me like I'm a guest in their own home. Each and every staff member I've encountered has gone above and beyond, with a smile on their face and a kind word for you. I want to thank this staff from the bottom of my heart. They truly embody what hospitality really means.
The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the shower was the BEST!! The breakfast is worth getting up for. The pool was clean and great for couples or family. The overall rating of this hotel is excellent and worth every penny.
Horrible Stay. Not up to expectations in terms of cleanliness. There was mold, mildew, major wall marks, stains, etc. This was definitely my first and last stay at a Best Western Hotel. Highly disappointed.
Excellent location and super clean rooms! The indoor pool is a nice touch as well. The breakfast area was fully stocked with all kinds of delicious food and was not your average Continental breakfast which most hotels offer. The internet was fast too which is a plus for me. The only disappointment was that the rooms do not have in-room safes.
We travel to Thomasville, GA 2-3 times a year to visit our daughter and three grand-kids. We always stay at this hotel (at least since it opened) and I always try to get their King Suite room. It has two rooms which works better for us, since my wife's health issues cause her to require more rest than I need. Staff is nice and the breakfast's are great. When they were younger, our grand-kids always enjoyed coming over to join us in the excellent indoor pool.
great staff , awesome breakfast ,, super place to stay ,clean and a great to be with family .. stayed right next the elevator and never heard a sound ...truly a quiet place to stay ..some of the friendliest staff ever ..
Solid, modern hotel convenient to all parts of Thomasville. Here on business and my meeting was five minutes drive away. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Room was large and comfortable. Good sized bathroom. Offered free breakfast, but did not get there in time. Certainly plenty of other breakfast choices in the area - Waffle House a classic in the South. Net, net, this is a fine choice if business brings you to Thomasville.
Every staff person, from custodial services, to room services, to breakfast services, to front desk services were kind, attentive and courteous to me before, during, and upon departure. I was very pleased with my stay at the Best Western Rose City Conference Center Inn.
This is a lovely hotel with a pleasant staff. Rooms are large and comfortable. Our only problem was that our room was next to the elevator and close to the open atrium from the ground floor to the roof. Noise carries and there was a party going on that got a bit loud at times.
I reported the noise coming from above at about 7am, after nothing was done and I couldn't sleep I went down for breakfast at 8:30 so I talked to Ms. "C" she told me that she had called at 7 and got no answer.( SO I'M ASSUMING THAT IF YOU DON'T GET AN ANSWER THAT THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM!!!!) I ate breakfast went back to my room and because I got in late the night before and was awaken early by the noise I tried to go back to sleep but the noise had not stopped. It's about 10 something now and housekeeping is coming through. I was able to speak to the housekeeping supervisor who told to call the front desk I told her that we had complained twice now. She called herself and moments later we got a call to our room from the front desk. Ms. "C" proceeded to say "FIRST OF ALL THE PEOPLE ABOVE YOU HAVE CHECKED OUT AND THAT NOISE YOUR HEARING IS HOUSEKEEPING". Okay first off I was very disappointed with Ms "Cs" attitude and 2nd I'm shocked to know that housekeeping would be doing all that running, dropping things, and so many of them in one room. After all was said and done they did check out, it was just that one night and I would most likely stay there again, just maybe on the top floor :) Service averages out because of the other good service.
Looked having the living space in our room! The staff in the hotel reflected true southern hospitality. Rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good, the overall hotel was very clean. Will come back to Thomasville and will stay at the BW again.
Nice staff, clean, seems well maintained, convenient, good price point, friendly. Just wish it was pet friendly and that would be the only negative comment, No pet friendly hotels in Thomasville, GA that I have found! Wish this policy would change. When I have to bring my pet I must travel to Valdosta, GA and stay at the Drury Inn.
The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good and has a good variety of foods to choose from. The pool and fitness center are nice and well maintained.
This is your home away from home, hands down! The staff are great and friendly very welcoming. The rooms are great and clean, there's plenty of restaurant's to choose from within walking distance. there's also shopping and sight seeing near by. And last but not least Breakfast is amazing! I will be staying at BW in Rose City sometime in the near future for sure!
The best Western in Thomasville Georgia is a very nice option for travels in the area. The hotel seems newly renovated. It is well-maintained and very clean. However, what sets this place above is the exemplary customer service provided by the entire staff. This includes the front desk staff, the cleaning staff and maintenance. They cannot do enough to please you and make sure that your stay is pleasant
We had a restful and peaceful night in a clean and comfortable room. The highlight of the stay was Whitney at the front desk. She was attentive, efficient, friendly, and extremely helpful. In addition, the breakfast was excellent.
Only stayed one night but this was a nice hotel. Nice and clean, comfortable room, close to a lot of restaurants. Check out the downtown - close and cute with options for local eateries instead of chains. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Hotel is very clean & comfortable with excellent front desk staff. It's kind of pricey for the area even when no major events are in town. Overall I had a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend.
new conference center, good breakfast, very clean stayed with large group check in was fast and effieficent close to several restaurants ate at rancho grande was okay nothing to brag about longhorn steak house was close by others ate there thought it was good
Whitney at the front desk takes the effort to get to know each guest. She is warm and friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. She makes me feel as if I have been welcomed to her home. She gets me an extra blanket or lamp and makes sure I get the credit to my rewards card. She really goes the extra mile!
Awesome facility and staff, if in area would stay here again. Have passed along to an organization that I am a member to consider next time they need a meeting place in SW GA. Clean, peaceful, classy. Location was convenient to dining and shopping, and not far from historic downtown area with shopping and dining. Restaurants within walking distance. Only negative was ONE slow elevator ( should be two elevators ).
This hotel staff was extremely Friendly and professional staff. From the beginning of my stay until the end they made my stay enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family traveling to Thomasville, Ga
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Multi-jetted shower was great. Great restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were spacious. Thomasville tends to be a very HOT/Humid town and the HVAC unit was exceptional.
Excellent Staff! Tasty, filling breakfast. Very clean and quiet rooms. Even the bathroom fans are quiet! The hotel is in a safe, peaceful location and very conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants. RFL :)
This hotel is in a very convenient area. It is extremely clean and the staff are very professional. The water pressure was excellent and the beds provided a much needed good night's sleep. We liked it so much we considered stay another night.
Very nice hotel, staff awesome. Only reason for 4 stars is steam room wasn't working and treadmill wasn't working. I would defibately stay in this hotel again if I'm ever in the area. Dee was the best.
Great service and staff! and all personeel were very helpful Room very nice and clear will stay at whenever we are in Thomasville, Georgia will probably try have family function here in the near future
Stayed at this hotel over the weekend for my nieces graduation from FSU. (Hotel is very close to downtown Thomasville, and about 30 minutes outside of Tallahassee.). The hotel has 'renovations in work' signs posted, but I didn't see anything happening. The hotel was neat, clean, modern, and our room was great. We had a queen suite, with 2 queen beds, 2 TVs, a separate sitting area, microwave and refrigerator, and nice big bathroom. Perfect for the 3 of us staying there. The staff was very nice, and we had no problems with checking in or out. In the mornings they offer a breakfast buffet- lots of yummy items, even gluten free. Good coffee, too. The only negative comment I have is that they have a very slow elevator. Otherwise, it was a great stay, and I would choose this hotel again!
Exceptional staff. Room and bathroom large, clean. Location on outer edge of town. Very good breakfast including gluten free items, good coffee. Facility being renovated, nice modern decor. Easy access to downtown Thomasville
They have the slowest elevator in town. The TV has the slowest channel changer around. You click and wait.. and wait... then find out if there is a working station on that channel or not. Nothing like working all day then "coming home" to experience this frustration at the end of the day.
The BEST place to stay in Thomasville, GA -- convenient location, exceptional employees, friendly, love it! Shopping and restaurant within walking distance, grocery store across the street. Wonderful experience!
The hotel is a five star in my book. I travel weekly to Thomasville, GA and always stay at Best Western. The amenities, accommodation and service is excellent. The staff at the hotel are well trained in their jobs and will go above and beyond to work with their guests. The breakfast is great. The manager is excellent and makes sure that the guests are happy. She is great.
This place has THE slowest moving elevator ever and they only have one. Such a pain..... They also feature the slowest changing TV channel remote ever, anywhere. Several seconds before the next channel lights up. We need to boy-cot these places that subscribe to such poor TV systems.
Several of my typical choices of hotels were booked, so I took made a reservation at this Best Western Plus. VERY glad I did. As soon as I walked into the lobby, Whitney, the desk clerk, greeted me with a huge smile. After getting me checked in, she did apologize for the re-wallpapering that was going on in the hallways on my floor. I am glad to see them keeping this fresh. Once I got into my room, the accommodations were very pleasant. The best was every bit as comfy and cozy as the higher end places I have stayed. In the morning- I was blown away by the awesome shower. It has numerous shower heads and even a sitting bench inside the shower (see pics). Breakfast was hot and plenty to choose from.
Overall - hotel requires a lot of improvement both in customer service, customer convenience, and of course, the building itself is under construction. The pros: my room is clean, the bed was comfortable. the shower has hot water & good water pressure. the cons: 1) this hotel is under construction and the sign acknowledging as much at the front desk does not sufficiently warn a customer of the actual conditions of the hotel. hotel lost power this morning for a couple of minutes and it's gorgeous weather outside and no other obvious reason for the power loss. on the second floor, the carpet is only installed in one half of the hallway. aesthetically looks awful, like there was a plan to finish and then the contractor pulled out of the project. the paint chips on the floor in the hallways add an extra layer of concern. 2) even if the hotel weren't under construction, it is ridiculous that patron have to get the safety key to the treadmill from the front desk to use the treadmill. the "gym" already requires a room key to get in, not entirely sure why there's an added layer of inconvenience to use the equipment. the gym only has a treadmill and two exercise bikes, and some kind of catch-all weight training equipment. glad i wasn't on the treadmill when the hotel lost power. 3) the door into/out of the hotel next to the gym does not open with a card key, even though the little green light illuminates. customer service was fine when i arrived. prior to my arrival, i called to see if there was any way to check in early at noon. the person on the phone, without skipping a beat, said "no" and that there was simply nothing she could do to check to see if another room was already vacant, thus not requiring housekeeping to clean it after a prior patron, or prioritize a room to be cleaned first so i could check in early. this is particularly off putting considering that there is no way that this hotel was fully booked the evening before I arrived. I come to thomasville for work fairly often, and I won't be staying here again.
Great stay! Nice staff, comfy bed and pillows, great shower. Anniversary trip and Dee upgraded our room and gave us a bottle of wine. Very kind and helpful help at the desk and breakfast area. Very accommodating. Only thing I seen that could use upgrading was the carpets in hallways to rooms.
Walk In Shower very nice 4 shower heads. Room was clean and large. Good location. Staff was very nice and helpful. Restaurants around hotel. Quit hotel. Will be staying at this hotel again this year for business.
We booked 3 night reservation through a third party. We had confirmed Reservations for 3 nights. We were suppose to get a room with 2 queens and mobility access. When we arrived it was late and we were tired. The clerk on duty told us that the rooms were "blocked". A room with queen beds, but no mobility access was available as an upgrade. The clerk showed on inclination to help. I have MS and sometimes need help with balance. We spent one night there and left to find handicapped accessible room. The furnishings in the room were average. The hallway outside our had half the wallpaper off and the carpet in front of elevator had some very large stains.
Excellent, clean, convenient TV did not work, something about the contractor not finishing his job. Which should be required of any contractor. O well. Ridiculous that I have to have 2oo characters minimum to submit this review.
We stayed here for one night last fall after a high school football game. Hotel was very clean, and the staff was nice and friendly. Beds and pillows were comfortable and room was dark and quiet at night. Slept late without any disturbance. Great experience, highly recommend this hotel - well done!
The safe was during the Thankgivimg holidays. The staff was friendly and very helpful checking the help I needed to get checked in. The hotel is conviently located close to restaurants and shopping areas. It's a nice place to walk as well.
The service was great all throughout my stay. The desk staff was very courteous and informative and the breakfast was filling and tasty. The hotel seemed to have undergone a recent upgrade and all of the bathroom showers were very well kitted out.
Hotel rooms are really nice with a large modern shower. Lots of soft pillows on their comfortable beds. Nice to have a desk. Great hotel because of its good employees. They care about their guests! Best part of the hotel!
This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in for the price. I don't typically stay at Best Westerns, simply because I am more familiar with some of the other hotel chains. The other hotels in the area were full, so we chose this one. It looked nice enough on the outside, but sometimes looks can be deceiving...however, not in this case! The desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, and they had lots of cable channels, which is always a plus for me because I don't have cable at home. The breakfast options were plentiful, and the area was nice. The showers were out of this world! They were by far the nicest that I've seen in a hotel! They had 3 shower heads! I wasn't fond of the choices for shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, but I had my own toiletries, so that wasn't really a problem for me. Two thumbs up!
The rooms are large, clean and quiet. The breakfast is very good with lots of healthy choices. It's not all carbs, sugar and fat. There's a nice indoor pool, a real sauna and a nice exercise room. They also provide snacks and drinks for purchase. We will stay here again.
Clean environment even under renovation. The room was very spacious even with 2 queen beds. Extremely comfortable bed and I liked that the bathroom had a shower, not a shower/tub combo. Staff at the front desk were very friendly, helpful, and proficient. Breakfast which was included in the room price had a nice variety of selections and was tasty.
I travel a lot for business, and this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The shower was an unexpected bonus, with three fixed showerheads (two overhead showerheads and one normal wall showerhead that can be turned on separately), a handheld showerhead on a hose, and a tiled bench where you can sit and relax and let the overhead nozzles wash the day away. I rarely rave about bathroom fixtures, I usually only care that I have hot water and clean towels, but this one definitely deserves a mention. Going forward, this is where I will stay when I'm in Thomasville.
The hotel was really nice. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The fridge was large. It seemed to have been recently remodeled with a pretty fancy bath and shower. There was some work still in progress with floor baseboards. Beds were good. Breakfast and eating area were nice... hot food, waffles, news paper, etc but little fruit. Indoor pool. Best thing... this was during the hurricane and they had a full house and it's my understanding the hotel supplied water and free pizza for all the guests displaced from their homes.
We were on the run from Hurricane Matthew and these people were so helpful. They knew all of us staying there were highly anxious and they went out of their way to extend our stay and move rooms around. They had a free pizza night for everyone...the hotel is very clean and comfortable! Would return anytime. Price value was also tops!
this is the nicest hotel in town as far as I'm concerned, other than a B&B, I like the breakfast that is offered, it's slightly different every morning, and I LOVE the waffle machine the most. The rooms are extra large especially the suites. I like that they have a Microwave and Mini Fridge to heat up or keep food cold during your stay.
This hotel and staff went above and beyond, as always to make my stay exceptional!! Wouldn't even consider staying at another hotel in Thomasville, GA. OUTSTANDING! You won't be disappointed! Front desk, breakfast, room...allllll a wonderful experience.
I visit a customer in Thomasville regularly. I don't even consider another hotel. Even when they had a main water line break and some things were a mess, still stayed there and they handled everything very well. Places to eat nearby and easy access to all main roads to get around Thomasville and beyond. Will always stay there when in the area.
Read reviews and thought this was the correct place to stay, we seeing I've used best western hotel chains all over the world. Here in Thomasville ga for soccer tournament with family I booked a king suite for space happy with that but that's were the happy stops! Walked out the elevator and 70% of the wall paper was either missing or coming off the walls on my floor. We returned to the hotel about 9 and there were kids running everywhere unsupervised and the clerk just sat at her desk looking at her phone as if she was at home and not at WORK. The running and jumping continued till after 1230 at night my wife and I called the front desk and than went down to the desk to ask if she could do anything about it she informed us that she would come up in a few minutes. My wife and stood in the hallway and watched uncontrolled wild kids run and jump up and down hall way after Hall way. Hell we even rode the elevator with them while they raced each floor knocking on doors and so forth, our purpose was hoping to meet a parent who could help us but no luck with the parents or the desk clerk who by the way never put her phone down or left the desk!!!! We stood and watched her than called and she said she had just come from upstairs (what a bold faced lazy lier). I know im.not at home so my room won't be as quite as I'm used to but my goodness I shouldn't have to lay in bed and watch the light fixtures shaking cause the kids upstairs are jumping off beds and acting like animal's. Knocked on door myself no parent in room so I didn't say anything to the children there not mines to discipline. But some help from hotel staff would have help. The worst of all had to clean the shower b4 my family could use it there was mold on shower heads and the shower didn't stop water at all we had to put towels under the four to keep the floor from getting soaked. I tried to move hotel but all were booked do to the tournament the closest is Tallahassee and my wife is out gassing up the vehicle were leaving. This shouldn't be happening at a 5 star hotel that charges $195.00 for a room but I hope they enjoy it cause that's the last of mines any best western will get!!!!!P.S. the only thing this place is missing that will make it complete is the cock roaches!!!
Stayed 3 nites after a very tiring & difficult move for single senior before continuing on with journey. Asked for best price only got AAA & this was still nearly $450! When it came to check out there were no carts available for me to take my room possessions to car & no offer of alternative help--only excuse "we don't know where they are"?..& brushed my concerns off!!! Could not believe it, folks...and this in a Southern town supposedly known for its hospitality. Will avoid all Best Westerns in future b/c corporate lets this get by.
This is my second stay at this hotel, and I continue to recommend it highly. Good prices, excellent and cordial staff, good breakfast in the morning, and an excellent bed. If you're in the Thomasville area, this is the best hotel in town.
We were hurricane travelers from Florida. We were grateful for a clean, cool, comfortable room and the staff's kindness. The bathroom was beautiful, especially the shower, with 4 shower heads. The complimentary breakfast was adequate. Parking was excellent.
Very clean. Nice staff. The best shower in a hotel anywhere. This was my first stay at a Best Western in a long time. Price was less than Hampton (my normal) and the overall value is better. Will look at BW in the future.
Staff is nice and hotel feels safe enough but there has been obvious water damage throughout the hotel and it looks very run-down except for the lobby area. Wall paper is peeling, carpet is stained and there was obvious current or prior water leaks in both rooms.
Nice place, close to downtown, quiet, great shower!, roomy room, super-friendly staff. Breakfast was included, not fancy but OK. Includes gym, indoor pool, easy to find. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Best hotel in town if you had to chose between hotels. Great rooms with large bathrooms. Weird lobby and awful elevator but rooms were clean. Beds quite comfy. Front desk employees were nice. Much better than holiday inn near by, cheaper price, too.
Excellent hotel! The hotel staff are friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure your stay is pleasant. The rooms are rooms are very nice and clean; and I can always enjoy a hot breakfast, great selection of breakfast items.
This modern hotel has large rooms and a friendly staff. We spent three nights here and found the place quiet and comfortable. The bed was great and the room was well-prepared each day. The breakfast is a little better than most free breakfasts and the breakfast room is large and pleasantly appointed. All the staff were very friendly and there is plenty of parking. We did not use the indoor pool, but it seemed to be enjoyed by families with children. Overall, a very good place to stay on US-19. It is just outside the city with department stores and restaurants nearby.
Ms. Patel runs a very nice hotel. She is extremely personable and helpful. Her hotel was clean. We asked for a quiet room, and she assured us of just that. The breakfast was more than adequate. We would happily recommend this place to anyone.
We checked in on Friday for the weekend. It has been a nice visit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was nice but small. The continental breakfast was good and the coffee was too. The beds was nice not to soft. We enjoyed the location being close to places to eat. The rooms where setup nice with cable. We had a fridge, microwave, blow dryer, iron, and coffee maker. I would stay here again.
The rave reviews are comparative. It's nice - probably the best around (I wondered about the Holiday Inn next door). Good value. Nice lobby. Nice rooms. Safe. Easy parking. Right off the expressway. But come on .... it's not a GREAT hotel. it's in the middle of nowhere. The rooms are a cut above average. If you want to feel great about staying here, leave yourself time to head downtown for a few hours - dinner, a drink, some wine/cheese tasting, whatever ..... because downtown Thomasville IS great. Will take you 20 minutes in and 20 minutes back. I did it and was really glad I did - well worth checking it out. Made the whole stay special.
Stayed here two nights recently during a business trip. Everyone on the staff was very friendly. I didn't pass one person who worked at this hotel that didn't greet me. The lady who stocks the breakfast buffet in the morning was extra nice she sat and talked to me my first morning there. My only complaint about the hotel would be the bed the pillows were not comfortable super lumpy. Other than that nice location convenient to places to eat and shop, good breakfast, friendly staff. Would stay here again if I have to travel back for work.
3rd time to stay here. Room very clean, breakfast is good and staff is very friendly and helpful. Hallways and elevators in need of refresh. Close to restaurants and shopping. We always stay here when we come from Texas to visit kids and grandkids.
The staff at the Best Western delivers quality service each and every week. I am so pleased each week that they know my name and strive to please the guest. The accommodations are excellent for the price. The owners and staff do it right!
We enjoyed our one night stay in the hotel. Everything was clean; huge walk-in shower (handicapped); convenient to shopping (had to run to Belk and CVS for last minute purchases and it was less than a mile); huge delicious breakfast; friendly, available staff
I have stayed at this hotel a total of 5 times and each time I have loved my stay. Great Staff and always a clean room. It's also walking distance to restaurants and shopping. It's just in the perfect place and its the perfect place to stay.
Stayed at this hotel last year for a whole week for a gymnastics camp and it was pretty nice and clean with a good, attentive staff. This year, stayed one night for the same reason and the hotel is in poor condition-wall paper peeling, found a big dead roach when I woke up in the morning, dirty carpet all around hotel, bathroom not clean, bedding seemed dirty, found big long clump of hair in the office chair, front desk staff never at front desk-had to wait for checkout-luckily a maintenance person walked in and found front desk person for me and another waiting customer
The nicest hotel in such a small town. This hotel was just as nice as some 4 star resorts. The exterior was flawless. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I would not have expected the style, class and service from this brand. Great job! Will check out your hotel brand again.
Very clean. pretty good for a hotel in Thomasville. I would certainly go back. In fact I have stayed there twice in the last three weeks. Breakfast is ho hum. Room clean. Staff very helpful. Why do I have to say more than I need to say? Thanks.
Very good room in Thomasville. Close to restaurants and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and great bed. Excellent television with lots of stations. Good place to spend the night in town.
I often visit Thomasville to see my son and daughter in-law. The best part being my grandchildren. Thomasville is full of history including some of the worn down hotels. It is refreshing to stay somewhere that the hotel is new. Everybody is friendly, rooms are nice. The a/c will cool down to 66 degrees, yes 66 I like cold at night. I liked the breakfast area, although i only have coffee it was very good. The location is too close to the waffle house so I end up having breakfast there.
Stayed here 3 nights in early June attending 50 year high school reunion. This Best Western was perfect for our needs. Great friendly staff, nice rooms, nice sized breakfast area and seating area for visiting with old friends. It was clean, quiet, and easy to access. I would definitely use this hotel again in the future.
Would highly recommend this hotel. Very Clean, close to everything, great staff, Room was clean, bed comfortable. Very nice breakfast offered. Items appropriately hot or cold. Very good coffee. Can make own waffles which is a plus.
the front staff is so helpful and courtious. Ms Patel goes out of her wasy to help you. She makes you feel so weldome. This was one of the nicest Best Westerns we ever stayed in. Would stay her again.
We stayed here on business and were treated as very special guests. The Mgr working was fantastic and so friendly. (I would put her name in here but would butcher it so my apology to you) Also it was a pleasure working with Claire to be able to work out something affordable to have a room to work in while there. The staff was super and we never had a problem. The complimentary breakfast was significant and the biscuits were some of the best Iv'e had at a hotel anywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Thomasville, GA area.
Dipali Patel is the GM. She is totally awesome, so is this hotel. Don't pay much attention to the bad reviews, they don't match reality. Some people like to complain. The shower in my suite was magnificent considering this isn't an expensive hotel. The king size bed and the pillows are perfect. The full breakfast was excellent. Beautiful landscaping and a new facility at a great price. What else is there ?? Thx Dipali !
The front desk clerk was nice, however upon our check in, we encountered and killed a brown recluse spider. Our phone in the room didn't work, so we called maintance, they came a day later. Hotel supervisor captured a large flying water bug !!!
I asked for a comfortable room when booking...nice, clean, king size bed, and rain shower.... just what I deserved. As a State employee I've stayed in some questionable places traveling the state of Georgia. Best Western Rose is the most comfortable and cleanest hotel I've stayed in.
The hotel is better than most Best Westerns I've stayed at. Starting with the highlights of the trip: The room was nice, bed was comfy, and refrigerator and microwave were both in our room. They offered free wi-fi (we were staying as part of a wedding block, so I don't know if this is standard). The breakfast buffet was very well-rounded (oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, eggs, fresh biscuits and gravy, etc.). The worst part was the service. We had a terrible experience that I hope is infrequent, but should definitely be addressed-- Our room was assigned to someone else while we were still staying in it! One morning at 7am, someone tried to enter our room claiming that they had been given a key and were told the room was empty. I tried to call downstairs after this person left, and no one answered the phone. About an hour later, my husband and I noticed our cards weren't working in the door anymore. I went downstairs and no employees were anywhere in sight. I waited for 15 minutes(!!!!) and finally decided to call the front desk while I was standing there to see if someone would respond. After ringing for a full minute, someone finally came over to answer it and noticed I was standing there. They just reactivated our keys and apologized once, but no further action was taken to remedy our situation. This is a completely unacceptable situation. Thank God we had the door stopper in place, or this person would've just walked in while my husband was in the shower and I was still in bed! Mistakes happen and we understand that, but the absence of staff and how they finally handled the situation was unlike anything I've ever experienced before (in a bad way). Overall, if we're in the area, I don't know if we'd try this hotel again just based on what we went through.
This place is gross! Stay away. The hallway carpet is the dirtiest carpet I ever saw, the rooms have old broken furniture, the walls are cover with marks, and worst of all the bathroom shower floor is just plain gross. Don't bother with the pool area it is just as sad as the rest of this place. We are here now and advised the front desk of the condition of our room. They advised all rooms are in similar condition and plan to do some sprucing up. Really, how do you even allow a place to get in this condition. Stay away from this dump!
I arrived back after 11pm and there was a very creepy guy smoking in the parking lot talking on his phone about buying meth. I hurried into the hotel. I had to go back out to my car for a bag I had forgotten and saw that guy behind the front desk. I felt very unsafe knowing that guy was working there. The room had a stale smell and the ac would not get cool enough. This hotel seems to be of a low quality with creepy employees.
All staff from check in desk to the housekeeping were very pleasant and courteous and extremely helpful! The room was very clean and well decorated. Great location and easily accessible. Will definitely stay her again!
Some basic amenities were not operational. The phone dead, controls on AC unit were not working. Wallpaper peeling. And there were no grits on the breakfast bar, except those little paper packets of instant grits. Ha!
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The breakfast foods were varied and tasty. The location was convenient to the sites we wanted to see in the area.
One of the best Best Westerns. One of two quality hotels in the area. They seemed to price match with each other. Great location, quite, comfy, and very convenient to everything. That's all I want to say.
Hotel was great. Check in was a breeze. Slept so good we slept through the included continental breakfast. The reason I said to book through Trip Advisor was this room was $125.99 (king suite) I like to call ahead just to make sure I am getting the room I attempt to book so I called Best Western national number. I was quoted $250.00 for the same exact room. I informed the agent of the price difference and was offered another hotel in the area for the $125.99. I said I want the one from Trip Advisor. He said he could not match that price. So, with a few clicks on Trip Advisor I got the room I wanted at the price I wanted. Oh, and don't forget to take a nice long shower in the king suite 4 head shower. Nice!
Almost didn't book here but I did. Im so glad i did. It was clean, everything worked. And the shower was to die for! Having the 2 TV'S SAVED ME from listening to my boys fight over who gets the TV! There was lots of parking and their breakfast hours were 6 to 9:30 with a varity of things to eat. And its was big enough to acutally eat in not like some that have closets to eat in because they are so small. I go to Thomasville a lot because of family and now i have a safe, clean and enjoyable place to stay. Oh and its so easy to find with all the popular restaurants right there that you can walk to! Thanks Best Western Thomasville!
We had to make a trip to Thomasville due to a family member being in the hospital there. I am so glad we chose this hotel. It is very clean and the staff were great. Great value for the $$. It is within walking distance to good restaurants as well. We would definitely stay here again.
I left the Baymont Inn after 1 miserable night & checked in here, Claire at the desk was extremely nice and helpful with local knowledge. The room was bigger than expected and was what I had expected from a BW. The facility was modern, clean and centrally located. The breakfast buffet was very good and the rest of the staff was professional. I would recommend this place. The only drawback was that the suites did not have a real kitchenette with utensils and plates, not that it said it did, but would have been nice.
The hotel Trinity. Quality, service, value. Free Breakfast? Comfy bed? Quiet? Clean? Yes. I tote a HH rewards card that will get less play now. My only wish was that there was equal hot water distribution in all of the 4 (yes 4) shower heads in 406. Lovely stay, count on the repeat.
Very nice hotel staff were friendly. Rooms clean Bathroom was newly remodeled it did lack a bath tub which I do like after traveling. Beds were comfortable we got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was typical of most hotels. No time to use the pool a hot tub would had been nice. Would stay here again.
Nice bed, stiff pillows. Needs the wallpaper removed and walls painted and new carpet. Other than that, the room was nice and big, bed was nice to sleep in and the bathroom was large with a big shower.
We appreciated the helpful young lady in her service and direction. The room were very comfortable, clean and attractive. We had everything we needed. The lobby was being redone but even in that time, it was attractive and nice.
I arrived around lunchtime after a several hour drive for an afternoon meeting. The girl at the front desk was on the phone helping someone, and so I waited patiently (she never acknowledged me). Once she got off the phone, I asked if by any chance my room was ready because I needed to freshen up. She flatly stated that there were no rooms ready. I then asked if she could store my bag until my reservation was ready. She replied that there was really not anywhere to place the bag except with the employees' stuff. she was not at all helpful or friendly, so i took my bag back to the car and hauled it in later. i am surprised that such a highly rated hotel does not have a provision for storing bags for customers with reservations. Except for this one individual, though, everything else has been fantastic. Beautiful room and nice people!
Hotel was completely clean. My bathroom smelled like bleach. The 4 headed shower was complete perfection. The tv swiveled, so I could watch from the desk. Breakfast was delicious and hot. Concierge was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. No blackout shades, so that sucked. Everything else was FANTASTIC!
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. From check in to check out, everyone we encountered was friendly and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, perfect after several hours on the road. The next morning, we enjoyed the free breakfast. The lady that takes care of the breakfast area, kept the hot food coming and the area was spotless. We will definitely stay here, again.
Stayed here based on reviews and they were right. Newly renovated, so very clean and nice. Nice staff, very accommodating. Pretty good breakfast, free, with several things to choose from both hot and cold. We didn't use the pool but the area was clean.
Enjoyed our stay. The staff goes above and beyond. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. We would stay here again in the future. It is about 10 minutes from downtown Thomasville.
Any good business is maintained by the quality of its people and quality of its service. Best Western in Thomasville has both. The hotel is very lovely and the amenities are great. I travel on business weekly. Best Western is the hotel of choice for me and my family.
My family stayed at this hotel around the Thanksgiving holiday, and really enjoyed the experience. Some benefits --- it's pretty conveniently located --- by being right off Route 19 you can get around the area fairly easily, and it's close to supermarkets, stores, restaurants, etc. At the same time it's a bit off the actual main road so you don't have the problem of excessive highway noise while trying to sleep at night. Know that it's NOT "downtown Thomasville" and certainly not around the corner from Tallahassee... but nothing is particularly far of course. Also, the staff was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. We even threw them a bit of a curveball, giving them only about 30 minutes notice that we'd like to change our reservation to come in a day earlier than expected. They were accommodating and friendly throughout. They also provided a crib that appeared better maintained than I might have expected. All the staff seemed dedicated to being helpful and personable in every interaction. The walk-in showers in our rooms were impressive, and among the fancier units I've ever seen in a chain. A pleasant surprise. Parking was not a problem even at the busiest time, and while I wasn't there for a meeting the conference rooms look big enough for any reasonable event. Room for improvement... the breakfast buffet had some good stuff, but seemingly hardly any variation from day to day. And while I love the make-your-own-waffle option and sausage gravy, and some other touches were nice, I'm sure anyone very health conscious would have found pretty slim fare (not much in the way of melon, cantaloupe, etc.) The place is clearly going through some remodeling --- even the main lobby appears to be tearing out wallpaper and such. I imagine it will be much more nice-looking inside once all that's done. So it's not the most picturesque at the moment. But in terms of location, service and a reasonable price you're in good shape with this one.
This was the best hotel in Thomasville, but it appears based on my last stay that it is going down hill. The carpets in the hallways were extremely dirty and the hotel seemed to have a problem with the smell in the sewer lines. The service at the front desk was not very friendly but the lady at the breakfast bar was extremely nice. With a little more attention to detail, the hotel could be nice again.
I had the best customer service I ever had at a hotel from a young lady named Whitney Brown. She was so very friendly and knowledgeable. She also help me with my elderly mother. Thank you for making our stay a pleasure.
The people at Best Western in Thomasville are the friendliest and very considerate. They always make sure to help in any way they can! I love staying here when in Thomasville. Love the indoor pool also. Makes it nice when you have a heated pool
Stayed in Thomasville for a business trip. I booked another hotel in the area, but was unsatisfied with the outward appearance. Best Western was able to accommodate me last minute. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. They recently renovated and offered nice facilities.
Better than average Best Western. Unfortunately they had a burst pipe that flooded the lobby but it did not affect our stay. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the kitchen person was a credit to this property. The shower in room 324 had three separate heads. One high on the wall. Fun shower!! Local area is nice and there is a lot to see and do in Thomasville. Check out the plantations and the stores downtown. Many good restaurants.
Locked out of my room at 3:30 a.m. My key card and the staff's key card wouldn't work. Had to get the maintenance guy out of bed. Turns out he had worked on the door lock after I left the previous evening and everyone somehow got locked out. They made it good by waiving the bill for the night. Otherwise, nice, clean place. Rooms were very good.
We enjoyed a lovely weekend in historic Thomasville, Georgia and our stay was made more enjoyable by our choice of hotel, The Best Western Rose City Inn. Our room was tastefully decorated, very clean, with a comfortable king bed, and a wonderful spa-like shower. We enjoyed the indoor pool, the sauna, and the hot breakfast with a great variety of selections. The Inn is a good value and is located within easy driving distance of downtown Thomasville.
This was an exceptionally nice stay on our annual snowbird migration. We had planned to go through the Carolinas, but so had the rains so we came downthrough Georgia, avoiding I75 and all that diverted traffic. Even though the hotel is undergoing renovation our comfort was not compromised.Very comfortable, friendly and safe. Downtown is a nice place to walk, shop, or eat...Especially Jonahs Fish!! The pool looked very nice, but I was in a hurry to get down to my Florida home, so I didn't use it. Maybe on the way down next year.
Hotel is under renovation, but the room was very clean and the Lady in charge of setting up breakfast was super. The location is excellent and very easy to get in and out of the hotel and flow with traffic.
It offers what you expect a Best Western to offer. Hotel going through renovation due to a pipe bursting on the 4th floor but it didn't really affect our stay. The suite was clean, but nothing special. Good size bathroom. They have "fat" hard pillows, so I did not sleep well but that is what I had expected, not a surprise for this type/class of hotel. I had planned on bringing my pillow but left it in the living room when loading the car... It has an indoor pool which the kids enjoyed and a nice grassy area where we were able to play some soccer at night. The breakfast is included. It is simple but has enough options for everyone. I HOP is next door if you desire something more. There is also a Publix close by. It was a good choice for a kids soccer tournment based on a price that all the families could afford.
Needs to improve reception, Breakfast and repairs and many more. Appeared to me business focused rather guest focus. There are nice things like bath rooms and beds but breakfast is not up to the mark. repairs are always there.
Great room, best breakfast you could ask for, comfortable yet children thundering up and down the hall all morning did not allow us to sleep and the clerk stating numerous complaints about them yet nothing was done another guest suggested it was her family but I don't know for sure .but it never stopped and we left.. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay.
We were on our way from Fort Myers Beach Fl via Tallahassee to move out daughter from Boston. Didn't realize it was dorm move in week. Ended up at this great hotel on route. Fantastic breakfast and very comfy bed.
it is a very clean and nice looking hotel ,, the staff is great ,, but apparently when it was constructed they neglected to put insulation between the floors and it was very noisy ..the breakfast was the normal free breakfast .. the stand up shower was great but leaked on the floor and made a mess .
