"A good hotel with good location."

We stayed here for three nights at the start of our two-week holiday. The hotel was easy to find from Sky Harbor airport and well located for connections to the freeway and local areas. The room (228) was a good size with microwave, fridge and large TV. The other amenities worked well too. The breakfast included everything that you could want, with a tasty hot and cold selection. We tried waffles for the first time. Delicious with maple syrup. All the staff were friendly and helpful. A nice play to stay.

This room is my room specific, I imagine if I was in a different room, I'd have a better experience. The hotel is nice, room was great and clean. The breakfast was great. The staff was friendly. My room being on 1st floor was safe with the sliding glass door going to the patio. The lock locked, there was a bar, and a pin. The location of my room however, was not good. I had the handicap room, right down the hall from the front desk. One wall shared the same wall as the elevator. The room door is across the hallway from the laundry room and housekeeping room. Lots of noise between the 2 things. 1 night was not bad because I literally slept and showered and left. But if I stayed multiple nights, I would have asked to change rooms.

Room was ok seemed a little old. Bed was hard could have just slept on the floor. Location is good. Didn't use the pool so I don't know. Left my shoes in the room called to see if anyone turned them in, I assume housekeeping must have kept them because they were not found. Front staff was really nice! They did have breakfast was ok. Other then that I would not recommend this hotel or stay at this hotel again, especially if you are looking for comfort.

While the room was comfortable, the best part of our stay was definitely the front desk and shuttle staff. Ryan was our shuttle driver who took us to the hotel. He gave us a warm greeting as well as did an excellent job navigating rush hour traffic. Patrick was at the front desk on our arrival. He too was pleasant and got us checked in quickly. He had a genuinely kind attitude. Stacia M was behind the desk on our checkout. She is the kind of person that you want to be around to get your day started off on the right foot. She is warm, personable, with NO hint of phony whatsoever. The breakfast was rather satisfying with a good choice of both hot and cold choices. You cant go wrong here for a reasonable rate, and clean comfortable room

The hotel was located within walking distance to a nice sized mall and various restaurants. The lobby and staff were very nice. The free shuttle from the airport was a plus. Rooms were nice, but a little dated. Loved the in room refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Round the clock coffee in the lobby was appreciated.

I was a guest at the hotel for several nights and while I was there the staff went out of their way it seemed to make me feel welcomed and appreciated . the front desk staff - especially stacia- were kind and helpful and the housekeepers were great and did their best to work around my crazy schedule . Overall it was a good experience and I will definitely stay with them again. For the price you just can't beat it !

The room and amenities were ordinary relative to what I expect from the upper echelon Plus designation for Best Westerns. However it is clean, the bed was very good, a good location, not too noisy, and the price was very competitive for the area.

This has to be a pretty short review because we really didn't stay long enough to judge. We checked in after midnight, and checked out early the next morning to catch a flight. This is a good choice if you need to be near the airport, just about a 10 minute drive. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was that there was a leak from the ceiling which put some water on the floor. Since we checked in late and the leak wasn't constant, we didn't call anyone on it since we needed to get to sleep. That's about all I can say since we didn't really use anything (a quick email check and the wifi worked fine). We'd stay again.

Sketchy neighborhood, bad lighting, and under staffed. I arrived late and the front desk person wasn't even there. Myself and other guests were waiting about 30 minutes until he returned. Parking lot was very dim so it's a little scary for a female to park far from the entrance. The bed was dated and stained. I went to my car and used my own blanket. This property has potential but it's being neglected by its proprietors.

It's a Best Western, but toward lower end. Periodic absence of hot water is an interesting feature to mention. Limited (to one) staff at breakfast, limited number of food choices - compared to other Best Westerns.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights,Stacia and Chris on the front desk were really helpful and friendly,Chris knew all the places to eat and visit. The room was clean and the linens were crisp and fluffy, the pool was amazing and heated along with the jacuzzi.breakfast was good with a big choice and the coffee was great will definitely stop here again

Good location, clean, great attitude from staff, and quite comfortable. Internet was easy to access, and the room had a nice big bathroom. The breakfast was standard, but there was one lady making sure everything was tidy for everyone. What we most liked... The staff smiled to the guests and were courteous, we had a late check in and the energy was there. Well done.

As a business traveler I look for clean, comfy, and ease of stay. This property was great. Staff attended to any issue promptly. Breakfast has something for everyone - healthy and yummy. The pool area nice and clean. Even a place to sit outside if wanted. The one thing I found I really liked was a makeup mirror provided. I have a hard time sometime when bathrooms are darker or and you have to lean so far over the sink to the mirror to put on makeup. Not at this property. Way to Go! Will be back when in the area.

The hotel staff was very nice. The shuttle driver Sam was great and very helpful.The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable.The mall, Walmart and various eating places were very close. Not much scenery nearby but close to freeway.

We stay at Best Western hotels all the time and they are good mid-range hotels. Some are better and some are worse. This hotel was right in the middle, I would say. The lobby and exterior were good. The room itself was a little worn, but it was clean - in fact my wife commented on how clean it was. The staff was exceptionally friendly and nice - smiling, laughing with us, remembering us from the day before, etc. The pool area was average. The breakfast area was large enough and had a very nice selection of breakfast items. Even though the hotel is a bit older, we enjoyed our stay.

The first room had brown stains on the bedsheet, one bed had hair on it, and carpet had black spots. I request to changed to second room and one bed still had stains on the bedsheet. Changed to the third room, the beds are OK but the floor carpet was dirty with black spots. I won't be back to this hotel again.

Everything was near by. Our stay was nice and quiet. Rooms were clean and spacious. The only problem was I came home with a bruised shin. Not sure why the beds had something sticking out but never saw it since it was hidden under the bedskirt. Otherwise our stay was nice and comfortable.

I have been coming to this property years, apparently it is under new ownership. It would better to say BAD OWNERSHIP!! We were checked into the first room which was full of carpet stains and mold oozing out of the wallpaper. The second room was no better, broken outlets, moth eaten drapes and lamp shades. There was no decor at at all pictures removed and stains on the walls were they had been placed prior. The tub was black and the sheets stained. To say this a Best Western Plus is an insult to the brand. In the morning I went to speak with the front desk staff to report it and all of a sudden a sign appears that says pool closed for renovation with no mention of this on website or at check in. I should have known better than report it to management as I have seen the lessen then genuine responses of the GM. No customer service at all, the guest service manager simply said I'm sorry and unfortunately I am not authorized to do anything at this time and the the GM will call you concerning your issues. STAY AWAY THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!

Stopped by for one night while my grandson visited some friends from college. Stayed her in March for three nights when while attending some spring training games. Liked the area close to the freeway and casinos. Rooms are big and comfy and the breakfast was great.Will stay here again when in the area.

"A quick quiet stay"

We wanted to quickly find a hotel at midnight, since our layover was 7 hours long at the airport. We found this Best Western only 3 miles away. The lobby was quiet and the staff helped us quickly for us to get a few hours sleep before we have to head back to the airport. They also had a shuttle to take us back to the airport in the morning, which was very helpful.

Stayed at this property for a week back in February. I was there for a week for business. The stay was great thanks to David, the shuttle driver, and front desk agent, Tyler W. I left a review back at the beginning of March. But I forgot to get a receipt so had to call today. Stacia answered the phone and was extremely professional and efficient. I actually asked her to come work for our property in Ohio! I wanted to make sure she got props for her help! Thanks, Stacia!

The hotel appears to possibly be in the middle of a renovation. The room looked like something out of the 70's with visible stains on the carpets. The pillows were extremely small, looked more like throw pillows than actual pillows. The pool and hot tub were dirty and the tiles we're missing or coming off around the sides. The fitness room smelled awful, a cross between sewage and animal carcass. The machines were old and there was very little that could be done outside of cardio. Breakfast was actually pretty decent and the staff was great.

Spent a Saturday night, 3/24, after help cleaning out my father in law's, wife's dad, house after he passed. First the prices were crazy in the area, spring training for baseball was going on in the area. Second the staff on Saturday was very polite and courteous, no problems there. Third is that I got to breakfast the next morning 3/25, at 845 and there wasn't much there and quite a few people were looking for food. Now my fourth point, the breakfast got closed down at 9 AM sharp, should have continued until 10 AM in my opinion, a dad was getting his kids breakfast and the lady was just taking the breakfast items away! What the heck! I went to the desk to say something and there was a sign saying that someone will be back shortly.... After waiting, a lady came back and I explained to here about the father and others that were trying to get something to eat, she said “well it closes at nine.” She had the attitude of don't bother me..... I would have rated it a 4 (found a hypodermic cap in parking lot or it would have been a 5) instead of a 1, but with a staff with a attitude of ‘oh well, you won't be back', I definitely would look for someplace else.

I realize that they are going through a remodeling, but the room was dated and not at all appealing. The bathroom door had the lock broken off, there were holes in the wall where a picture was mounted, there was a free standing closet that you could not even get to and the price was way too high for the facility. Yes it is spring training, but there are other hotels in the immediate are that were at least $50 cheaper and it was not a Motel 6. I only stay one night because of the price and the place is full. The desk was full of dust. Do not know how they do it. I rated it as average because the staff was very friendly.

This hotel advertises an offer of 10% off the best available rate if you check in on Yelp which I did. Upon checking in their were 2 gentlemen at the front desk who stated that they never herd of the Yelp discount. One of them took a picture of the discount coupon on my phone with his cell phone. He stated that he would send the picture for to the manager for verification. Upon checking out, this time a woman at the front desk also seemed confused. Employees need better training.

"Worst Best Western ever"

Been staying in Best Westerns for 40 years but probably no more. Shuttle only runs once an hour so had to take Uber to avoid a 55 min wait at the airport ( probably my fault for not checking first). Then we check in and immediately noted that it appeared that the plumbing had been backing up in the tub. Called and the maintenance man came with a spray bottle of disinfectant. Worked on it a while and pronounced it repaired (smelled better anyway). Went to dinner and came back to a tub now full of the most disgusting black sludge We've ever seen. They graciously moved us to another room reeking of cigarette smoke with the wall paper peeling. Take our advice, give this place a pass.

My wife and I stayed here 5 days and had two different rooms. The rates go up with the local events. Major League Baseball teams were having preseason games. We had a king bed but had to move to two queens after day two. Many of the rooms are being renovated. The queen beds were more comfortable than the king. The showers have those pump dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Not my favorite because the tubs are narrow to begin with and with soap in your eyes you can bump your shoulders. It has to be hard to renovate a hotel that is almost always full. Our rates were $174 & $154, depending on what was going on in the area. Breakfasts were good but crowded. Biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, eggs, link sausage, yogurt and assorted pastries + juices. There are tables outside if you need them. The staff was very nice and helpful. The free WIFI is f-a-s-t-. Great hospitality from Chris and Stacia M. Chris was great at check in and suggested good restaurants in the area. During the week Stacia M was a huge help in getting us straightened out with the laundry facilities. Providing soap and change so that we could do a couple loads of wash.

"Nice hotel"

We have stayed here before and still like the hotel and the location. It has a nice breakfast. The room decor is getting worn and the bed is getting lumpy. I noticed new decor being brought in to the hotel and I hope new mattresses are next. We asked the front desk for a recommendation for a accessible taxi and the company they gave us came the next day, on time with out a wheelchair accessible taxi. It took them 30 min to get one to us.

I have stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 times as it's convenient to the airport. mall, Home Depot. Its been upgraded although the bathrooms can use some work. Fairly quiet. Good beds. The problem with this BW is it raises prices about %150 during local events. Check prices otherwise you will pay $200 for an $80 room.

First off, drive up and you find a most pleasant and appealing grounds and building. Then you enter to an equally inviting lobby and STACIA, a woman with a most pleasing personality and a warm smile welcomed us!!! Check in was a breeze and she and Tyler were able to answer all of our questions. Our room was attractive, clean and comfortable and the WIFI worked great! The next morning we met Shay at breakfast and she was friendly and always had such a warm smile...and believe us, she worked hard keeping all the items replenished. This was not an easy task as it was very busy and crowded but she remained calm and efficient. On Sunday night our room key didn't work so it was down to the front desk where we met Terrance...what friendly and great guy. Little mix up in the registration (2 nights paid for and 1 free on points) but Terrance was quick to fix it! He even went up to the room with us to make sure everything was okay! Then it came time to leave and Stacia was working...so it was a simple and pleasant check out with the "smiling Queen." And should you stay here and you encounter Stacia...just mention "wink" to her and we're sure she'll remember our little friendly and fun interaction!!!

Being a seasoned traveller I have learned a few things about hotels, the most important one is that staff makes a huge difference on your experience, regardless of the brand, ratings, amenities and point system used. I had a business trip to Phoenix and much to prepare ahead of time, I was at the airport at 3:30 am without sleep and looking forward to the sun after a long winter. Alas, my flight was long and noisy, Phoenix was cloudy and rainy and my cab ride to the hotel had a very unpleasant smell. Exhausted at the counter I met Stacia, she was friendly and efficient, knew better than me what I needed and went out of her way to help me get in my room as efficiently as possible. It doesn't matter if you stay at the most luxurious resort if your brain is overtired and you are grumpy; on this trip to Phoenix I got time to rest, prepare for work and got a huge smile and excellent service when checking in.

I remember loving my first experience at a Best Western (not sure where) and on my last few visits (different locations) I have been disappointed. However I was impressed with the front desks handling of a difficult customer.

I paid $20 for Park and Fly and then was not picked up. I had to pay for a cab to get to the hotel. I asked the manager for a refund of my money and he works not though I watched him argue with the staff as to why no one picked me up. GIBE ME MY $2O!

Close to many places to eat and shop. You have Arizona mills mall walking distance to hotel. The hotel staff has been great. The rooms are clean and the hotel appearance has been updated a little. With all the devices we carry today I do wish they had more convinient outlets to plug into.

Arrived in Phoenix at 1:00 am waited called shuttle and advised 20 mins, which was accurate. The driver was courteous and helpful. Check in was quick. We got in the room and it was pretty warm. We fired up the ac. It worked for about 10 mind then stopped. I stay in a lot of hotels so I'm pretty Sure I can operate the air conditioning?? Anyway, at 0130 in the morning we just went with it. Not a good night's sleep. Make sure you check it early if your there. The room was basic and dated but clean. They also had free WiFi that worked, which was nice. The free breakfast was packed. We went down about 20 mins prior to the end time of 0900. There was basically no food left. I think they were behind trying to get food out. So we went with a waffle and some yogurt. Overall, I gave it 3 stars but some may have given it 2. We were there from 0100 until 1000 so not a long time.

Excellent stay for the budget I had for the weekend. Daughter enjoys the breakfast bar which gave us ample time to eat and not hurry. Wifi was great and got some work completed while my stay here at the hotel. Thank you for the great hospitality.

The upgrades give the hotel a nice exterior look, tile in the bathrooms a nice touch, but there needs to be some TLC to the basics. Being a good hotel is when you are brilliant at the basics... ie. Hot water, Water Pressure, no holes in the bath tub. If these things were fixed, it would be a good hotel.... without them... it makes the stay less than desirable.

We always stay at this Best Western the night before our flight. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The park and fly service is a great value and makes airport travel that much easier. Breakfast was good with generally a good selection. The addition of bacon to the sausage offered would be welcome as my spouse doesn't fancy sausage. The room was quiet and clean. Overall, a good experience like we have come to expect.

No hot water in the shower/tub No Coffee, No light bulb in the desk lamp. The hotel location was perfect in correlation to the airport. The hotel rooms were clean, as was the dinning area. The area that had a tree area near the elevators that you looked at while waiting had dust, around the Christmas decoration

I am so embarrassed. I am so sorry that you were here that weekend. We were experiencing a problem with the boiler, as well as our coffee maker going down. We have since repaired our boiler and purchased a new coffee maker, as well as installing precautions for our coffee should that happen again. Please be assured the problems have been corrected and we now have plenty of hot water and coffee. Also, I want to thank you for pointing out what appears to look like dust on our atrium tree. This was my first stay at a Best Western due to it being the hotel for a group function I was attending. It most likely will be my last. 1- reservation was changed without my knowledge, luckily event coordinator called and I was able to correct it, I thought, until phone call on the 3rd day wondering if I was extending my stay. Then had to check out and back in for the 3rd night. 2- A/C return vent was literally fuzzy from lack of maintenance. 3 - A/c system did not function. 4 - after two requests for maintenance in the room, the 3rd night it still was not fixed. At 8:30 pm (when I returned from dinner) reported issues again and maintenance finally determined system was broken and had to move. 5- Manager was not on the property Monday morning when I checked out and had not been made aware of the issues. All the front desk clerk could do was credit my account $20. 6- A few days later now and still no contact from the manager, just called and he's not even in today. Might be new management but a few too many things went wrong for this to not be a more systemic issue.

This is an older property and could use renovation, but the fact that it had an airport shuttle was the most inportant factor in choosing it. We had a comfortable room and an excellent bed, even though it wasn't the most upscale place. Manager Chris was top notch.

The hotel charges a $2.00 fee for lightbulbs. No hotel should charge for lights. First roon given to me had a black goo on the bathtub. Looks like it came from the drain. The second room had a musty oder. A mildew or mold smell. Finally got the room situation fixed. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and the coffee strong.

Reasonable property. The bed was old and had a divot and made it hard to sleep. The room charge explanations were poor at best, looks like I may have had to pay cash for a rewards room, will wait for the bill to come in. The room was not as clean as most Best Westerns we have stayed at, the 'pool side' room door was kind of broken and very hard to latch and definitely not really by the 'pool side'. We were not told that the hot tub was broken when we checked in, I would have moved to a different hotel if I had known, not recognition for being and Elite rewards member either. The upside was breakfast was good and the room was quiet.

In the middle of a remodel so there are issues. One HUGE issue I had was not feeling safe in the parking lot. And it was totally annoying to see that the General Manager had a reserved spot right out front. Wasn't that nice that for him! So fantastic that I, as a paying guest, got to park in the very back under sketchy lighting, and felt entirely at risk walking to the side doors by the kitchen area only to find them LOCKED! Really? Oh and no way to access it by using key, so now back to the side to get into a door that made me feel VERY unsafe.

"No construction notice when booked"

When my wife was searching the area for hotels close to the Arizona Grand Resort for our Irish Dance Championship trip, this hotel came up on the searches with a pool, fitness center, hot breakfast and affordability. When was not in the listing was that the reason for their current affordability was that their pool was not heated (way colder than acceptable - feet could not get warm after 10 minutes on the steps), and there was widespread construction going on throughout the hotel to where accessing the floor with the fitness center was a trick and there was loud drilling going on the entire day. The breakfasts were good most mornings, but on the final day, Sunday, my older daughter experienced food poisoning within an hour after breakfast, and after having been in high spirits during breakfast - she experienced vomiting the entire trip back to Los Angeles and was only getting rest 9 hours after her meal. l visit a lot of hotels in my business travels, and even the smaller cozier chains need to have a certain minimum thresholds to be met. None of those were met on this and we will be looking elsewhere for next year's event and thinking twice about this chain.

We've stayed at many Best Westerns across the country but for us this was our least favorite. Leaving baggage at PHX @3PM I called the hotel for shuttle let it ring at least 15 times no answer. Checked the number tried again same thing. Tried using my wife's phone same. Used both phones ring, ring, ring, was just about to call Uber and someone answered but put me on hold for a while. The bus gets there its 96* outside but inside the bus was at least 20* hotter. I asked the driver whats up with the A/C he said it doesn't work. Me and another guest had to open all the windows they were closed. Get to the hotel, line of people complaining to the desk person about a broken bed, no power, no A/C...not a good way to start and it didn't get better for us. The overpowering smell (you can taste it) of carpet deodorizer throughout the hotel, barely working A/C made sleeping difficult and the whole building too warm, Police tape across the hot tub filled with dirty water need I go on. One bright spot was the employees and the various managers we delt with. They all really went out of their way to make things as right as they could. Very friendly all of them. We felt sorry for them working in a building with so many issues. Like a sinking ship. I don't know when these five star reviewer's stayed there??

The BW Plus Tempe By the Mall is a very comfortable hotel, and the location is good --- very close to the freeway for easy access to things in the Phoenix area, and just a few miles from Arizona State University. The staff are very accommodating, the facilities are good and the place is clean. The breakfast includes a nice variety of items. Definitely a good place to stay if you are visiting Phoenix.

Stayed at the hotel on business for 6 days and it is a very convenient location. Great shuttle service to and from the airport, Walking distance to a big mall across the street, walking distance to few dining options (my favorite was the Mexican restaurant Poliberto) and very friendly and accommodating staff. Made my stay very comfortable. Even though I did not use the pool, it looked great for a nice swim in the hot weather.

No airport shuttle pick-up available after a six hour flight, mid-day on a Saturday, high 90s, left on hold from hotel for over 14 minutes. No local shuttle either, as advertised on website. Terrible wifi. Otherwise, if you just need a bed, clean place, most staff very nice and helpful.

The rooms had lots of staining, linens were not comfortable. Ice machine on our floor didn't work, had one request from the staff and it took an hour for them to deliver anything. Just not a good hotel, would rather stay at the Best Western Sundial.

I can't add much to what other reviews have said. The front desk staff is excellent-if a bit overworked. The hotel was clean and offers free airport shuttle which is a big positive. Our room was good size, clean and very quiet even though it overlooked the main street. Breakfast was mostly plentiful. On the downside we also found the Wi-Fi very troublesome going in and out. The main street is very busy and can be near impossible to cross if you need to go left out of the driveway during certain hours. Not the hotels fault, but a pain particularly for visitors who are not used to traffic patterns and driving habits in a new city. Yes, there is construction going on, but it was low key. Finally the breakfast was very much on schedule. 9am close means 9am the staff is tearing down. We are early people so know worries for us, but I saw quite a few people stop down just before 9am only to have items removed in front of them while trying to figure out the layout. Usually staff is working on hotel guidelines with time so I don't blame staff for the cutoff (and you gotta stop serving sometime), but be warned if you snooze you lose for sure in this case.

I always stay at this Best Western when visiting the Tempe, AZ, area. I've booked at a couple of other locations in the past, and they were fine, but this one is more conveniently situated for me. Also, I find the staff pleasant and accommodating. It's not a "fancy" place but it's perfect for a place to hang my clothes and get a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet is also excellent!

We needed to be near the airport in a hotel chain we trusted without spending a bundle. Fortunately we were right across from an awesome mall too!! The staff is amazing and when we asked who to tell-the GM Traves appeared!! An actual GM on property who listened and really cared about what we were saying!! Good luck finding that anywhere else. I would return and I wish other hotels would take their staff to train in customer service here.

We recently visited Phoenix for a couple of days. We decided to stay here since it's super close to the mall and that was the main purpose of our trip! Our room was also very nice and clean. I recommend a room towards the back, it's very nice and quiet! Definitely will be staying here again!

This hotel is in a great location. The hotel staff was great. They were very nice and professional. The shuttle service offered was great and dependable. The hotel was under renovation when I was there. The sheets and towels were clean. The furnishings were worn but that will change after the renovation. Hot breakfast was offered every day. This hotel is convenient to all modes of transportation, shopping, restaurants and attractions. I would stay here again!

This hotel is owned by gurukripa llc so please donot expect anything to be on plus standard. Alll best western plus properties have good companies toiletries. But this has dial 99 toileteries. We checked in late so there was probably no room in the category we booked so they pushed us to handicap room which had not even proper door in bathroom , shower was too low. We had already paid before long time back so either they could have held our room or upgraded us. But stingy owner has guided staff not to do so. Breakfast was ok. The area is not so safe . The only plus is being close to airport

The common area is very well kept, but rooms below Best Western standards in my experience with the product. Bathroom tiles falling off and grout very soiled. Toilet appeared to be rust stained in bowl. Toilet didn't flush well. The soap dispensers on the bath wall are tacky and in very inconvenient location. I hit my head and elbows several times on the dispensers. Towels stained and not well stocked. Water pressure ok, but water temperature fluctuates. Room cleaning occurred late in the day after 4pm for our two night stay. TV poorly located in the corner of the room as far away from the bed as possible. Power strips for today's electronics seem very low budget. USB and power stations like other brands better suited for upscale look and usage. A/C worked well. Fridge and microwave worked well too. Breakfast very lacking, scrambled eggs and bagels! Lower budget brands have more. Bed comfort so-so. Bed linens ok, but pillows a bit hard and too small. Overall, this facility on the low end of Best Western quality. Can't tell a book by its cover in this facility.

I have stayed at this Inn for a number of years on my annual trip to Texas and thought I had found a real gem. I have seen a marked decline the past two years, especially in the breakfast. They serve scrambled eggs with potatoes on the side and scrambled eggs with such microscopic chips of what I guess is supposed to be ham that I don't know why they even bother. They are in the process of renovation which I did not find to be a problem. However, I reserved a mobility accessible room and the mattress was so bad an old-time pallet on the floor would have been more comfortable I am debating whether to give them one more chance on my return trip home.

Hotel was generally a good place to stay, there were a few glitches due to construction, but hopefully these will be overcome. I plan on staying there again. Nice rooms, good linens, decent internet, good location, good exercise room (a few repairs needed), but generally speaking a great value for the money.

Shuttle driver was unprofessional using the F word and playing music at deafening volume to please 7 flight attendants in training. The noise in hotel was deafening due to all the drilling and cutting. Yet hotel desperately needs updating. Poor breakfast. Poor part of town. Staff at desk was pleasant. Better value elsewhere with hotel closer to airport. Internet was out at least half the time. Poor poor value.

When I went to see about checking in I knew that I was early, I had arrived in town earlier than expected. Working at a different Best Western I knew there would be a possibility that I would not be able to check in early but thought I would ask anyway. I went to the desk, the girl working didn't seem to care that i was there nor did she seem interested in helping me out. I asked if I could check in and she told me that her system wouldn't update until 3pm so I would have to wait until then. That's fine I get it. I came back later to check in, there was a different girl working, seemed nicer but still not all that pleasant. I asked for a pet friendly room as I had brought my dogs with me. So it took a bit of time for her to get me into a pet friendly room and not in the room she had already assigned. When I finally made it to the room I was less than impressed with the cleanliness of the room itself, the carpet was super gross, almost black and had two different types of carpet in the room. We went through the patio door to take the dog out to do his business in the grassy "pet area" right outside our patio door, unfortunately they couldn't be out there long because the entire area was infested with fire ants. I only spent one night it the hotel, even though I had originally booked for two. I woke up on Sunday morning to bite marks all over my hands and arms and down the one side of my leg. I can only assume they were bed bugs. Upon check out again there was a front desk agent that couldn't be bothered to assist in check out. Tried bringing up the ant infested pet area and the bites all over me and all she could say was "thanks for letting me know, I'll have someone look into that" I used to bring my family to this hotel A LOT because it is so close to the mall and is in a more central location to any other activities we wanted to do, but after the experience I just had over the weekend I will not stay at this hotel again.

Bianca was very friendly at the front desk. Thank you, Bianca! Renovated rooms were clean and the rooms were quiet. Breakfasts at hotels can be questionable, but this was better than the average hotel breakfast. The food was better quality.

The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The hotel is undergoing a renovation which is now on the fourth floor level. The noise level was excellent even with the ongoing renovations. The breakfast was excellent with a very large eating area. The staff helping with breakfast was very friendly. Parking available in back for larger vehicles. My only complaint is that it was hard to get in and out of their parking lot during rush hour because traffic backs up on the street out in front of the hotel.

Nice hotel in a great location that is close to everything. Room was clean and quiet if a bit small. Had a larger size fridge, big flatscreen tv, radio that was bluetooth and ipod compatible and good internet service. Decor was a bit outdated but not bad. Staff was great and price was right. Would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Very friendly staff, with overall the best service. Rooms are also great, but beds are pretty firm. The rooms do kinda smell like smoke, and the breakfast was great. I would say that the staff was very helpful and very friendly with the checking in services.

We stayed at this particular hotel due to its proximity to the Arizona Mills Mall, which is one of our favorite shopping areas in Phoenix. We had business in Scottsdale so decided to combine business w/ pleasure and went up a day early to shop. The hotel is right across the street, so is very convenient. The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the bed was heaven to sleep on. Breakfast was rather limited with scrambled eggs and toast, a few pastries or dry cereal, but it was fresh and ready to go, early in the a.m. Overall, a real deal for the price and location.

Staff was great. Free breakfast was better than others we've been to. But the beds...So uncomfortable! Even the pillows were awful, and those are cheap to replace. They are remodeling the hotel at the moment. I really hope that they replace the beds. We won't go back otherwise.

On this stay, my flight was delayed due to weather. I called ahead to let the front desk know I wouldn't be in until 3am. I also told them we were tired and hungry. We knew everything would be closed when we got in. We hadn't eaten all day. When we arrived at the hotel about 3:30am, the front desk had gift bags with water and snacks ready for us. The shuttle driver was also very nice. He brought me to a convenience store so I could get the kids something. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is a little older and may need updates, but I found it to be very nice.

The location and ease of freeway access is big plus for me plus the selection of restaurants nearby, mall and home depot all play a factor. Not far from most of my work locations. Easy access to my required locations in Phoenix and Eloy I need to visit

This hotel was not what all photos showed. The A/C was not working well (was warm), the wifi was not working at all and the carpet was not cleaned well. We only enjoyed the bed. I would not stay here again.

Close to the mall and freeway. Easy check in and check out. Nice breakfast and beds were very comfortable. Pool was very clean if not a bit over chlorinated. Grounds were very clean as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Do not recommend. Go to Double Tree same price but much much better experience. No AC in rooms in 100 plus heat. Disgusting breakfast. Staff not friendly or very caring. Will not stay at this hotel or possibly another BW again.

"Terrible stay and customer service"

We stayed here one night because our air conditioning at home went out in the peak of a record setting heat wave. Husband checked in around 4pm and noticed pretty quick that the thermostat wasn't functioning properly. By 9/10pm after I had been there working on my laptop for a couple of hours, I went to find ice so we'd have cold water at least & talk to the front desk. Was told that the maintenance guy was on his way to do what he could & upper management would call A.C. technicians in the morning. It doesn't make sense to me why they waited that long when there was obviously something wrong earlier. We slept in separate beds because it was too hot otherwise. The lady at the front desk was very apologetic, especially after I told her the only reason we were there was because our AC at home wasn't working. She asked for our room number so I thought that meant they might try to make it up to us a little bit. When the bill came in the morning, there was no "sorry for your inconvenience" or discount. In fact, there was a surprise $25 pet fee for my dog. The day before when I had booked the room, I very specifically asked what the rate was for a pet friendly room and was not told about the fee. If I had been, I would have gone to a different hotel that had a lower total for a pet friendly room. After a terrible night's sleep, I was rather upset and stopped at the front desk to see if given the ac issues in addition to the surprise fee, they would waive the fee. The front desk agent called his manager who just told him to tell me that there was nothing she could do about it. This was even after he pointed out to her that it was very likely the girl I spoke to when I made the reservation probably made the mistake in not mentioning the fee because she's still in training. Having worked in the service industry, I find that impossible to believe, especially if the only person above her is the owner, which is what I was told. I was told that they did not have contact information that they could give me for the owner and the front desk agent suggested that I reach out to corporate. My husband also put in a call for maintenance upon checking in and discovering that the tv inputs wouldn't change (we had brought our XBox from home). They never sent the maintenance guy, and when my husband called the desk again after waiting for 2 hours, he was told that that maintenance man had left for the day. The front desk sent someone else to the room to look at the TV, but he had no idea how to fix it either.

Would stay here again. Nothing extraordinary but well stocked and had pleasant front desk staff. Very good breakfast choices. We did experience a bit of a problem with the room assigned but the front desk staff immediately re-assigned us to a different room which solved the problem. I will certainly stay here again when we are in this area.

Came to this property on a last minute reservation. Check-in was a bit disorganized as there was a problem with the machine that keys the cards. Created a bit of a wait. Front desk associate was friendly + did best he could, but it was overwhelming. Room was fine, but the property didn't feel like a PLUS (as we have stayed at many BW properties before). Good value/ prices. Location was excellent, close to Arizona Mills. Also made it easy to get back on the road (10) to continue the trip too.

We have stayed at this hotel several times in that it is convenient to get to the airport. We always stay 1 night. That it. The bottom floor rooms are just OK. Some of the pet friendly rooms are less than OK. People seem to be pleasant. It is quiet and we usually sleep OK.

Only complaint was a microwave that didn't work. I called the front desk and they swapped it out within minutes. Room is nice and bed was comfortable. Didn't have any issues with noise. The mall is right across the street so you can do some shopping.

I have stayed here on Business and Family trips. The hotel is conveniently located close to many attractions. It is a short distance East to the drag races or West to concert and sports venues. Always enjoy our stay!

The internet connection was horrible and not worth using. The lobby was dated looking. Fitness room was small but treadmill worked fine. Unfriendly staff just going thru the process. The room itself wasn't bad. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The decor was not impressive. Breakfast offered the usual food options in the dining room.

Checking in at 7 PM. No clean rooms available while reservations were there. No elite express check-in offered. Bed sheets were stained. Refrigerator would make suddenly loud sound wake us up ever 2 hours. Missed breakfast because up all night due to outside noise and refrigerator noises. When complained the front desk said they are sorry but would not do anything about it. This should not be BW Plus. Wasted my reward points here.

The room is old and in need of repairs. I can look past the fact that the air conditioner rattled all night but I can't get past the dirty shower, the stains and filth on the chair and the desk chair. The final straw was foundation makeup on two of the pillows. I slept in my clothes on top of the sheets. I am so disappointed to start my dream vacation to the Grand Canyon like this. Hopefully the next stop will be better. We were supposed to stay here on our way back out of town but that is not going to happen. I have NEVER had any complaints about a hotel room before so I don't know why this is so awful.

The carpet in our room was torn by the patio door, the curtain was off the hooks and the glass lamp shade was broken. There is obviously no quality standard of Best Western Hotels. Never will stay in another one!

Clean, priced right. Nicely maintained. I don't agree with some of the negative reviews. The hotel is just North of a neighborhood that may be intimidating to some but I stayed North of that area. No issues at all with the location. It was unseasonably hot during my stay so the room AC could have been cooler but it wasn't unbearably poor.

Generally very good but internet wi-fi not good at all. Plug-in internet worked fine. Also TV channels ABC NBC Fox CBS did not work. Staff was very good. Exercise room lacking. Was able to print my boarding pass in lobby which was much appreciated

This property is still a class act. Very clean and efficient. Our room was very quiet and the bed was great. The price was right compared with other motels in the area. Front Desk was efficient and knowledgeable. I DO question the wisdom of allowing sick employees to interact with guests, eg. talking to guests and sharing writing implenets, etc at the Front Desk.

We were taking a flight to Seattle to be gone for a week. Staying at this hotel was perfect. Great location, shuttle to the Airport for an early flight. We were able to leave our car in the parking lot and take the shuttle back to the hotel after our trip, it was great!

My wife and I stayed there for one night. The staff is super friendly, the location is quiet, the room was clean, the bathroom was clean and the water pressure was very good. Breakfast was included, you can get omelets and waffles, cereals, juices etc...

The room was non-smoking king by the pool that smelled like an old smoke shop. Check-in was at 3 but the room was ain't ready until 330-4. No compensation for the wait or smell! Not happy!!! Not Happy!!!

Very quiet for the location. Mall within walking distance even for the elderly, near a freeway and a nice smaller place good for kids also, and pet friendly. I use this place for business trips, visiting family and just to get away and do some shopping.

I needed a place for one night after flying into PHX. Airport shuttle driver, Omar, was very pleasant as was front desk woman. Room is drab, tired, bedding itchy, and worn. TV signal was lost while watching a movie. Continental breakfast typical, nothing fancy. Walking distance to many restaurants and the mall

I have stayed here a couple years now. I find it clean and sufficient. The area is right across from a mall that has great shops and eateries. The room is comfortable and clean. The pool is average but good for one or two nights. The staff was excellent. I would definitely stay here again. We used air miles and found it a good value for the miles.

The children and I were confidante that we felt safe and comfortable there. We visit my family quite a bit and we'll be there again. Breakfast just could be served until about 10:30am as McDonald's only down over to early.

Our room was not cleaned on successive nights, which prompted a complaint from me. I was told to expect a phone call from the manager, which never came. There was no price adjustment -- nothing. Whereas I usually think highly of Best Western, I have had to reconsider that assessment. On the other hand, the Best Western in Prague is fantastic!

Advertisement showed your venue had breakfast, lunch and dinner. When arrived I asked the woman who checked us in where the restaurant was located. She stated we only serve breakfast. I told her about the advertisement and she said there has never been a room for lunch and dinner. She advised us to walk 10 minutes one way to the restaurant down the road for dinner. I am handicapped and use a walker. This is why I choose a hotel with a restaurant to have dinner. When we arrived to our room there was a menu that you called to ordered dinner. It was a Best Western menu. I called the number and ended up speaking to the same woman at the desk. Once again she said there is no restaurant. She did not know where the menu came from and had never heard of this menu. My elderly husband had to walk 20 minutes, and bring back dinner to the room from the recommended restaurant. It was cold. Second complaint is I called the hotel previous to booking to verify if your pool was heated. I was told that it was heated. I need to do water exercises every day due to my muscle disorder. After dinner I walked the few feet to the pool to do my daily exercise. When I put my toe in the pool it was ice cold. If I had to take a guess the pool was a least 75 degrees or less. This is not a sign of a heated pool. The weather outside was 83 degrees when I went to the pool at 8:00pm. I was unable to exercise ( can not do land exercises due to I fall). Third problem was there was no shampoo or Kleenex in the bathroom. I stepped into the shower and went to use the shampoo and found it empty. I had to step out soaking wet and retrieve my own packed shampoo from my suitcase. Fourth situation was we had scheduled a ride to the airport on one of your shuttles at 7:00am. We were in the lobby at 6:45am. At 7:10am your large shuttled pulled up. Approximately 15 people who were staying for a conference jumped on. When I approached the driver and notified him that we were scheduled to go to the airport, I was told he knew nothing about taking us. He stated he had to take the bus to a conference location. The night desk clerk was just leaving to go home and heard the situation. He offered to drive us to the airport in another of your smaller vans. He also gave us 15% off of our bill. He was very accommodating and professional in how he handled our situation. The man should be thanked by Best Western for his great care of your customers, especially on his time off. The room was clean and we were allowed to bring our small dog. We have always stayed in Best Westerns, but I question if we will stay at your property again. When you advertise and state you have certain amenities the public expects when they arrive to find these offered. If the pool was broken then there should be a sign stating such.

Not the Best Western. As soon as you walk thru the door there is a bad odour. The room we had was very dirty, stained carpet with holes. The bathroom had broken tiles and seem grungy. The bed was comfortable.

Since I had prepaid through Priceline. I couldn't just change hotels or I would have. The initial impression was that the place was a bit run down and dingy. The colors were predominantly brown and old. The place had a musty, cleaning supply's to cover old place smell. The whole place was dated. Room not very inspired and bed was lumpy. Pillows were hard and lumpy though they did bring me softer pillows when asked. I would more than likely not choose Best Western again and not just his hotel, because I have experienced this more than once.

Very nice hotel and the location is excellent for travel, shopping and close to golf courses. Pool was not heated but all areas were very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good variety and selection for the breakfast menu and coffee is available twenty-four hours. Major highway within minutes from this location.

We only stayed one night as we were moving on to a different location but we were very satisfied with the facility. We had a regular room with a king bed and as there were two of us it was nice to have two chairs in the room. To many times we've got a room that only has one chair.. The room was very clean and well kept and there were no surprises. Check in and out was handled very quickly by staff that were pleasant and knowledgeable so as a result we were very pleased. The comp. breakfast was very basic but good enough to start the day. The plus is the location which is walking distance to restaurants,a convenience store

We booked the hotel because it was about 650 miles from our starting point in California. It was dark when we got there and were leery at first but when we stepped inside the property, we were pleasantly surprised! It was clean and well appointed, with professional staff members. Our room was great. Breakfast was great. Checkout was easy. I would definitely stay there again.

We had problems getting shuttle at the airport to the hotel in Tempe but onceGreg. from airport called for us, Sam arrived in 15 min. Our room was ready / Sam a great guy helped us get WIFI set up and told us to inform the GM about not being able to get shuttle IF you do not have a cell to call. Informed GM in the morning who was going to look into immediately. The room was great. Wonderful hot breakfast and all so fresh, with very friendly staff.

We go to visit family including grandchildren who live in the area. The pool and hot tub are nice and a good temperature, The room is comfortable. It is close to the mall but we were not too impressed with eating places nearby. There are probably more in the downtown area. At baseball "spring training" time it gets more expensive. Have no real complaints.

"Nice people bad hotel"

We checked into this hotel after a long drive from Vegas, our room smelt like a sewer, the Carpet outside the bathroom was wet and at 9.35 pm there was a party being very loud in the pool, with folks running up and corridor above. I went to reception to complain and the lady said yes we have already had several complaints but the pool shuts at 10. Went back to room and the toilet had overflowed, nice! This is why the carpet was wet. Next morning we were moved to another room. I would give this hotel a 1 star as it is noisy and breakfast is like a bun fight, however what saved it people behind reception they are so nice, but the hotel is second rate, it feels like a halls of residence rather than a hotel.

Only stayed here one night but thought it was a great hotel. Had no problems with the airport transfers provided by the hotel. But transfer back to the airport is apparently only at scheduled times so just find that out before. It was nice too because I had no car but the mall was within walking distance - some other restaurants near by also.

I go to the Tempe-Chandler area 2 or 3 times a year and always stay at the Best Western Plus Tempe by the Mall. For my most recent visit, I checked out some of the other Best Western hotels in the area, but decided once again to stay on S. Priest Drive. It's very convenient for me - close to places I want to visit, close to the highway. Plus, the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Phoenix was a fantastic place and the location of the hotel was great by the quality of the hotel was not so great. It was close to the 10 freeway which allowed us to go all over the valley. The room was small. We also went to a book launch, the zoo, and the state fair. The trip was very nice!

Best Western is an average hotel for an out of town visit. I go to this area once a year to visit family and choose this hotel since it is kid friendly and I bring my 2 grandsons. They like to play in the pool. I find the price is reasonable.

A good stay for the money. Friendly staff and comfortable. All I needed was a clean room, comfy bed, some breakfast and close to ASU. Got it all here...Plenty big King bed for 2, microwave, fridge, desk and a comfy chair with an ottoman .Only down side was the pillows.

Of all the hotels I have stayed at this one was the best especially for the great pricing of the rooms. Great place to stay. This is a convenient place to stay when you are flying out of Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. The staff was very polite and caring. When we were told that we had to take a shuttle before the dining room was open, the manager made sure someone had made a to go breakfast. It was waiting for us when we checked out.

Had stayed in this hotel before and liked it because of its central location, nice room, cozy lobby, friendly staff, great breakfast and good value for the money. When planning our recent visit however we found other hotels with good reviews were offering significantly better rates so we didn't come back. Tough competition indeed.

The front desk and breakfast staff were outstanding. Our room was clean, we have stayed here before and will stay again. If you need airport transportation to Sky Harbor, this is the one to stay at or the BW in Tempe, NOT the Phoenix Sky Harbor BW, that is in a very industrial area, this is in a safe location, and the breakfast is great.

Lately, I have sought out BW Plus' to stay in as they are usually much better than a standard Best Western and the prices are good. This one while better fell short a little bit - primarily in cleanliness. Not bad in the room; however, the halls needed vacuuming. On the plus side, they gave me what I wanted - a room away from the elevator, drink/ice machine and doors and on a top floor. The front desk staff could not have been more pleasant. And the breakfast was abundant with exceptionally good scrambled eggs.

Employees are excellent, grounds good, morning coffee disgusting. Coffee was really the only bad thing at this Hotel. It's a nice Hotel. Room was comfy, breakfast is OK, but maybe it's just me, as I really don't care for Hotel breakfast. The airport shuttle is also excellent.

"Cheap price = cheap stay"

We picked this place because of it's location near the airport and not knowing the area. What a mistake! The hallways smell terrible, the pillows on the bed weren't even pillows. They were squares of fabric stuffed with cut of pieces of foam and were no big than a couch pillow. There was a hair clog in the bathtub drain. Not fun standing in water while showering. They obviously don't move things when the clean because there was a half used bottle of lotion on the bathroom counter behind a small stand. The air conditioning was horrible. It was over 100 degrees out and it took all night to cool the room down. Don't waste your money here! We found out too late just how many beautiful hotels there are in Tempe.

We love staying at this hotel. Great Breakfast! They always have great food from all different varieties. Great shuttle to the airport! Park your car and let someone else drive you to the airport. Very good location! Staff is very friendly and helpful! We love staying at this hotel because they treat you like family.

Great place to stay - clean, friendly, comfortable and wonderful breakfast spread. We would definitely recommend and stay again. 2nd Best Western we've stayed at recently and would choose again. The previous one is why I choose this one.

Hotel was not very clean the hallways had a odor as well as our room. The staff maintenance person was dressed in plan clothes and was not wearing a badge. Front staff was friendly and seemed to give us another room when I presented the DW voucher for $50 off stay. The rooms carpet was spotted and I did not want to walk barefoot. The desk chair had a huge white stain and I did not want to sit on chair. The air did not get the room cold to sleep. The mattress was mushy and you would sink in when you sat on mattress. The room we stayed in was 226 for the record. My wife found long blond hair in the sheets which made us feel they were not changed. We arrived late and tired so we just stayed in the room and did not complain. I will not stay again at this best western. The best western plus is supposed to be their better quality places to stay.

"Poor pickup service from airport"

I arrived at the airport in PHX at around 4;30pm on August 10, 2016. I called the hotel front desk for pickup for aproximately 30 minutes to no avail. Called a third party to call the front desk also to no avail for another 30 minutes, then finally took a cab. Upon reaching the hotel internet was not working

So close to to the Arizona Mills Center. Great for shopping and entertainment. If you have friends or relatives at Arizona State University get yourself to this Best Western + and you'll be so close to the vibrant Tempe, AZ. Can not go wrong. Easy access to downtown Phoenix for more fun with all the city can offer. Stay and Play in one of the best places to visit for pleasure or business, especially if your company is picking up the reasonable cost.

We stayed here while we explored the area. It was suitable and clean. The breakfast was not the best. The room was clean as was the bathroom. I think hotels in general should pay more attention to the corridors leading to the rooms. This hotel could do that. I did like being able to walk to a mall.

"Respite in the wake of the Southwest Airline debacle"

We found this hotel when we were stranded at Phoenix Airport because of the Southwest snafu July 20 and on. We called late. They had a room and sent the shuttle for us at midnight. This place was a bright spot in an otherwise trying situation. Great staff, nice clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast included. I'd definitely go back but hope I'm never stranded in Phoenix in July again!

This was the first time I have been to AZ, and I must say that the people here have been nothing but nice. Hotel staff is great, beds are very comfortable, breakfast is wonderful . Hotel is located by the mall for shopping and there are plenty of places that are within walking distance to eat or shop. Convenience store located just on the corner. After a long day at work, even though it was 113 degrees, the hot tub was great for my tired feet and the swimming pool was just an added extra to cool me back off afterwards.

I have been frequenting Best Western for many years now and I am always impressed at the high level of customer service. I have stayed at this particular location on several occasions and absolutely love the breakfasts, rooms and pool area. All of the staff are helpful and friendly. "Wouldn't stay again"

Maybe I was spoiled after staying 5 nights at the Best Western Plus of Sedona, but I wouldn't choose this hotel again. Nothing terrible, just okay. PROS: Close to the airport and affordable. Front desk workers were very nice and pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Pretty large bathroom. Room and bathroom were clean. CONS: Mold in the air vent. Strange sized square pillows instead of regular sized pillows. Terrible coffee. It was an okay stay, but with all the other choices, you could probably do better.

While the rooms are clean, they are cramped and outdated, and they have no upgrades since all the rooms are alike. On my way back down to my car I overheard the front desk person say the washer and dryers were not working, (one of the reasons we chose this hotel since we were on an extended vacation and no nearby had these). They said they would put signs up, on day 3, I checked to see if they were working no signs, so put my laundry in, only to find out they did NOT work. I reported it to the front desk and told them there were no signs on machines...the front desk person laughed, and then precedes to tell me "well you will have to go down the street to the laundromat". I was furious at the attitude. Breakfast was good, a big variety, we chose to eat outside....then someone who worked there informed me there was no smoking in that area...I'm looking at him trying to figure out why he was telling me that....he pointed to the ground underneath the table where there were cigarette butts, I promptly informed him that those were NOT mine as I do not smoke, and perhaps before he placed blame, he might want to check this area in the evening and see who is out here smoking underneath the clearly visible no smoking sign!! We happen to know there were people smoking at night since we went to use the pool and had to walk through this area to get there. I was so livid with how we were treated, I will never stay in this place again. The staff needs some lessons in manners!

Maybe its just because we're in love, but I always enjoy staying at this Best Western with my partner when we go to phoenix for a night. The room is always clean, comfortable and cozy. We've only been to the breakfast once out of the times we have stayed here, and I remember that being pretty good too.

I stayed here for one night with my five-year-old son. The gentleman who checked us in was nice and helpful. The hotel looked fantastic, especially the lobby. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and all the amenities worked perfectly. Breakfast was fantastic, as well. I highly recommend this place and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Ok first off I have stayed at this hotel more than four times. First few was great quite and good food service. Then it came to one time 12 to 2:30am was a fight in one of the rooms. I would just get to sleep then they start with fighting all over. The bath tub wouldn't drain. Then this last time I was with my daughter. First night I heard like jack hammer everytime the air turned on. So slept off and on. This was in room 307. When air turned on was fine like in middle of the air it was a noise kept us on our toes found out from air conditioner. Then thought ok will deal with this don't want to take time to switch rooms etc. Well next day had breakfast and left at about 10. Came back to room at 7:30 8 at night. Daughter walked in beds were not made nothing had been touched in room. And they didn't replace towels. So had to call for towels. Told them forget Making bed as it was just before getting ready to settle in. Called said don't worry on beds just get us towels. I had always wanted to stay there since they do have shuttle to airport. Decided it is just better to go to another hotel closer to daughters apt. I do know I should of addressed it sooner. Learned to do it next time.

We normally stay at Best Western hotels and usually the service and quality is excellent. We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Tempe by the Mall. Our experience was not the best. We had drainage problems in the shower. We could literally shower and take a bath at the same time. The towels were dingy appearing to have never been washed. The cleaning service was slow on Day 2 of our visit forcing us to sit in the lobby after returning at 2PM. Later on Day 2, I found my suitcase filled with ants and had to clean everything out and place the suitcase on the desk in order to keep the ants from returning. Very disappointed this time and very unusual for Best Western Now we had never stayed at this one before.

"Staff couldn't be nicer"

I am spending my second night here and the staff could not be more pleasant or helpful. The shuttle bus is an awesome amenity, with free pick up and drop off at the airport. They will also give you a lift to places nearby, as long as they are not committed to an airport run. The hotel is very clean and pleasant, but the best thing is the friendly people working here - front desk, shuttle drivers, breakfast manager, and housekeeper. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to other travelers

Great property! Would stay again!! Stayed here for business for four nights. Clean room, although there was a stained washcloth in my room, this is the only reason I am giving only 4 stars. Shuttle was a huge plus for me and the group I was with! The staff were knowledgable about the area and very hospitable. Breakfast was good. Great place to stay! I would recommend!

"GREAT HOTEL WITH OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE"

We got an immediate feeling of welcome and the 2 people at the front desk were so kind. We had a reservation booked, but the young man checking us in asked us what floor we wanted! We chose the 3rd floor, which was the top floor. (The previous night we stayed in Page, AZ and we had a first-floor room and it was noisy all thru the night.) They started looking something up on the internet for us that we were wondering about. Also recommended their favorite places for dinner with a lot of enthusiasm. The front of the hotel is so pretty with the fountain and the flowers and other plants. Our room was a standard hotel room with 2 queen-sized, but very comfortable and CLEAN. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained, clean and very nice. And then in the morning we were able to take our delicious continental breakfast out to a table by the pool. It was perfect.

"The Noise was Unbearable"

Please don't ever get a room by the exit doors or near the grilling area. The exit doors was used all night until the wee hours of the morning; slamming and loud people coming in and out. And then, people were grilling outside just below our room. They had a great time laughing and drinking, but at the expense of our sleep. We had just drove in from San Diego and we were dead tired. This will be my last stay at this location.

This Best Western was a very good value for the price. They have everything I look for in a hotel. It's not a grand hotel but it's nice, clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely worth it if your traveling with kids and just want a decent place to stay.

This was the 6th time I've stayed at a Best Western, the 4th time at this location. The staff (at both locations) have always been friendly and helpful, and the service has been excellent. I had a couple of minor problems during my most recent stay, but, with the help of the staff, both problems were remedied right away. This is a perfect location for my activities; it's easy to access the nearby freeways and the airport, and I'e always found the premises clean and comfortable.

This BW is really good, check in was really fast. My room was on the 3rd.floor, very comfortable, and clean. The pool and jacuzzi are great and well located. Breakfast very good and complete. Asked for a late check out and got it!

Service is everything. Therefore this Best Western Plus gets a strong review. The accomodations are standard, but the staff is great. Extremely courteous and helpful. The huttle Drivers were always at the ready to get us where we needed to go and made good reccomendations for nearby eateries.

"clean, but way overpriced"

I stayed one night in this hotel right when I was moving to Tempe. The hotel was clean, but the price was ridiculous. We paid $170 (before tax) for one night for a standard room with 2 queen beds. Most of the hotels in this area didn't accept pets, so we had very few options. We were also late checking out as we didn't arrive in Tempe until after 3 am and hotel staff was very rude about it.

"Good location"

Stayed here in March 2016 for a week, the rooms were very quiet compared to some places. Seemed like the breakfast area could be expanded as it was hard most mornings to find a place to sit, but overall there was a large variety, except they were lacking fruit, mainly only had apples. The shuttle they offer is a great advantage as there are only a couple places close enough that you would want to walk too.

This is a very nice hotel. The management of this hotel accommodated our group in every way. We were able to gather mornings and evenings on their patio, we grilled, it was great. My room was adjacent to the pool and patio and never were we disturbed by any goings on outside. We had a king sized bed which was soft, but comfortable as was the entire room. Breakfast was better than you would expect for the venue. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to other. We did not bring the cats on this trip as we flew, but i did hear other pets there, which is always a plus in my book.

I recently stayed at this premium Best Western hotel and had a wonderful experience with my daughter. Beds were comfy, staff very helpful, service to airport was on time, everything went wonderfully. I recommend this hotel!

"Home Away From Home"

My Husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. The location is great if you plan on spending time in the Phoenix area. However, if you are going to visit other areas of AZ I don't recommend it. We traveled to Sedona, Wickenburg, Prescotf, Camp Verde and Casa Grande. Every day when we returned to the hotel we got stuck in rush hour traffic afternoons from (3-7pm). Morning rush hour (6-9pm). If you are staying in Phoenix it's within walking distance to the outlet mall and several chain restaurants. The daily breakfast provides many selections including hot items like eggs and sausage. The pool is clean and just large enough but didn't seem warm enough. The rooms are quiet and clean, nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. They offer a shuttle that will take you to surrounding restaurants and the Mall. Would definitely recommend.

"DIRTY ROOMS"

I stayed here one night on 04/02/2016. I had two rooms and both had filthy bathrooms. While checking in the staff was very unprofessional in appearance and attitude. I will never stay here again. I understan the hotel was busy with spring traing and bike week but that is no reason for it to be dirty and quality to go down.

This was a clean hotel, one of the better BW I have stayed at. Parking, room & breakfast were all a notch better than most BW I have stayed at. Pool is average but nothing to complain about. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I will stay here again

A good time to spend time and relax with your partner. Great food and great customer service. Close to places to eat and fun in clubs. Best Western I've been so far. I recommend if you want a relaxed night with your partner and the pool a little small but it helped.

I can not figure out why this is a "Plus" hotel andor how its #8 out of 47 in Tempe... this place needs a face lift. Its old, old furnishings, crapy carpet and not even a desk in the room. There is a flat screen TV on the mall the most modern thing in the room. The batroom is eh - the granet counter is nice - I guess the bath isn't to bad but the rooms have old hard beds and cheep covers. The AC in the room is bearly cool. I've staying in PHX before an this is the crappiest I've expereenced yet. Only here because work booked it without asking where I wanted to stay. Next time, it wont be here. But maybe the rooms are cheep - they would need to be really cheep for me to come again.

We have stayed here that past 5 weeks and this is one of the best staffs at a hotel we have seen. Barry and his staff are so friendly, informative on the area and genuinely care about the wants and needs of my husband and I while we are vacationing. From Ruby and Esmeralda at the front desk, Jimmy in Maintenance and the very kind and approachable cleaning staff, we really enjoyed our stay this year at the Best Western Tempe by the Mall. The rooms are very clean, the hotel is in walking distance of local establishments (restaurants, the mall) and the pricing is very reasonable.

The photos of this hotel are not reflective of the actual experience. It is outdated and dark. While it is in an excellent location to the airport, the neighborhood is not desirable. The staff are friendly, but the prices were very inflated for the quality of the hotel.

"Best Western Plus It Isn't"

This Best Western Plus is not a "Plus" There are NO suites or upgrades available for Rewards Members. Our first room was 113 but we found a major carpet problem by the sliding door. The front desk moved us to room 117 but the problem was even worse. The new, first day, manager offered 10% off and 1000 points to stay and apologized saying there are 9 rooms like this one that will be renovated and she hopes we will return. I don't think we will return. This hotel is not living up to Best Western Plus quality or their 100% satisfaction guarantee. The outside of hotel, grounds and location are a plus.

Great location. Great restaurants near by. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. What more could you ask for. We enjoyed are stay at The Best Western Plus Tempe. We went to spring training in Scottsdale AZ and the location and price was so reasonable, only a few minutes from the stadium and lots or great places to eat within walking distance.

My family, including my 92 year old mother returns to this hotel each year for Spring Training in March. We always have a welcoming experience. This hotel for the price is a good value. We normally attend 3 or 4 games and this hotel is pretty centrally located between the Stadiums. It is a good starting place for other side trips as well. We went to Tombstone this trip.

The hotel and room, I had no problem with. It was clean enough. It definitely needs a makeover but I would stay there again for one night. It's great if u do not have a car because the mall is right across the street. The issue I had is I left a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses there. I called two hours after I left and they said they were not there but to call housekeeping in the morning as they had left for the day. I called at 8 am and they said housekeeping was not in till 9 and they would call me. They called and said no glasses. I was very disappointed as I just left and know I left them there. .. .. I had read someone had something stolen from room as well ( no safe). I realize this was my fault but usually if u call right away, the hotel will give u your stuff back. Just don't leave anything is my advice. The area is not as good as right downtown Tempe. The breakfast was average but good enough for us. I probably would of rated it better if my glasses would of been returned.

Great people, great room, great location, great rate, great breakfast, plenty of parking. The beds were very comfortable, not to hard. The internet service was better than I have at home and I have Time/Warner high speed internet and the hotel was better and faster. The breakfast was great every morning, they change it a bit everyday. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, oat meal, orange juice. All you can eat. We didn't eat until dinner. lol

"Has It's Pros and Cons "

This is the second year that we've stayed here for Spring Training baseball. Last year this property was on point. This year I wonder if there's been a management change. The Pros: It's close to Diablo Stadium, Arizona Mills Mall and downtown Tempe. The staff here is absolutely wonderful, friendly and efficient. Check in and other requests have been great. The Cons: Our mattress had no hint of padding. It was hard and you could feel the springs underneath (squeaky Springs at that !) The whole room looked like it had been abused: a big dent in the refrigerator, some weird discoloration on the wallpaper, and our tub looks like it has a horrible disease! The free breakfast is fine; but the breakfast area is extremely understaffed. There's one, poor lady trying to keep up with a sold out hotel of hungery people. The food and coffee was always running out with super long waits for it to be replenished. Yesterday we sat in the patio area after our baseball game and the tables hadn't been cleaned from breakfast. If you stay here request a room in the pool side. There's a big 10-fan condenser unit on the other side of the hotel that is on constantly. I think this is our last stay here mainly due to the bed quality.

"Good choice for airport pre-departure"

This is not really an "airport hotel"," but is close enough for that purpose with their shuttle service. We returned our rental car the evening of our stay and called for the shuttle to get back to the hotel from the airport. We then used the shuttle the next morning to get to our flight. Other than for a bit of a wait on the pickup, all went well, as the hotel is less than 15 minutes away. Other than that, the hotel is acceptable but not remarkable. We only had one meal to get while there, and the Claim Jumper is within walking distance and a good choice. The Wifi in the room was sufficient to watch Netflix on our tablet, which is not the case in may hotels. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was very quiet.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Strong air conditioning. Good wifi. The building needs some TLC but was clean and tidy. Convenient location with airport shuttle. Basic breakfast. Staff were nice.

Hotel in need of an update. TV didn't work, bathroom dirty, Fitness Center is small, limited machines which didn't work. Hotel in what I would consider 'depressed area' for Arizona nearby options are limited.

"Spring Training"

Maybe because this was Spring Training season the prices were hiked up. We paid $200.00 a night for for a room I would expect to pay $129.00. The rooms were old and out dated. The soap and shampoo dispensers really turned me off, I guess they are trying to save money on the little bottles and bars of soap. But it really looked tacky. The mini refrigerator froze all our items even after i adjusted it numerous times. The leg was broken off of the refrigerator and someone put a piece of wood under it, but it still wobbled back and forth. The room was clean and comfortable, and centrally located to all the ballparks, but not worth $200..00 a night

The hotel messed up on my reservation. I booked a room with a king but they gave me a room with 2 queens instead. I showed them my reservation with the king room but they were unable to accommodate my request because I booked through a third party website and they were at capacity for the weekend. Also, the hotel is due for a remodel. The bed was super squeaky and uncomfortable. The rooms and carpet look fairly run down and it's kind of in an off-putting location. I won't be staying here again. The free breakfast was pretty disappointing too but I guess you can't really complain much for something that's free.

I was visiting the Arizona area for 4 days to attend baseball spring training games. I stayed for 3 nights. On my 1st day I purchased an autograph baseball at a game, the money went to a charitable organization. I met the player and it was a great memory that is now ruined. On the next day I put the ball in a drawer and the only person who was in my room was a housekeeper. Needless to say it was stolen. I reported the theft to the front desk as soon as I returned that night. I was here for another day and a half and never received a response from management??

Room smelled like cigarettes and the carpeting was old, worn, stained and "sticky" as though it needed a real good shampoo (better yet replace that carpet) it was very gross. Breakfast dining the next morning was an over crowded feeding frenzy madhouse. Overall the dining area inside and tables by the pool place looked filthy. Needs a some detail with a wet rag and windex. Not impressed.

The room was clean and quiet. We requested a soft mattress and BW came through. The hotel was centrally located to good shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. It was 15 minutes from downtown. The only negative experience was the breakfast. The coffee machine was out of order, one of the waffle machines was out of order and the other one was not functioning well. Many breakfast items were not stocked. Overall it was a good stay.

So we were there for the PAC 12 college wrestling championships (as observers). We brought our "significant Others' who would rather shop than watch sweaty guys wrestle. For us, we found the mattresses far too soft. It might be better for other so that's why I am not suggesting the mattresses were necessarily "bad". The morning breakfast was pretty decent, although the waffle makers did not work right for at least two days. We didn't sit around the pool, although we did see what appeared to be employee's children using the pool. They were dropped off at the front of the building, then walked around and got into the pool. They knew the pool maintenance man by first name. As with any children, they were loud. One girl that was staying in the motel wouldn't go in because of this. The place, overall, was very, very clean. I used the stairs a number of times to walk from the second to the first floor as it was quicker than waiting for the elevator. I noticed how clean the stairwell was, too. I had a couple of occasions to talk to the front desk staff and in each instance, they were very pleasant and responsive.

I just spent 4 nights here for a business trip. Overall good, only a few negatives. A hotel like this is unlikely to be a unique experience, which is OK. I wanted clean, quiet, a comfortable bed, and a central location. This place gave me all of that. Room was great. No complaints. I was directly over the main entrance which worried me but I never experienced any noise. Breakfast is typical free hotel breakfast, nothing terrible, but also nothing of note. Staff was very helpful when I asked for suggestions on places to go running after my work day. I left just a few days ago, and truthfully I can't remember much about being there, which is probably OK. I think it means it fit my needs.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly even though it was heavily booked with the start of spring baseball. The room: Clean and up to date. The bed was comfortable, however, the pillows were cheap (not soft foam) but chunks. Suggest having a few of the pillows be soft and lower profile. Great TV and channel choices with sterilized remote. Bathroom: Clean, spacious, good soft towels, good soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion supplies. Recommend to have coffee maker & ice bucket and supplies removed from the bathroom. Not a good sanitary place for food/drink items. No pen in room? Breakfast: marginal to good. Standard for this level of hotels. Just a few more items would make it better. Suggest: Real oatmeal with raisins, walnut, brown sugar offerings. (Small bowls) Real salsa (Costco?) & shredded cheese for the eggs. Fruit. Either supply chunks of fruit. Pineapple, grapes, watermelon, cantaloupe, oranges etc, or more whole fruit. Bananas, oranges, grapes. Breads and pastries were fine. Coffee was better then most hotels. Suggest herbal tea added to choices. Juice machine good when working. Waffles great. Suggest: Tables be cleaned once awhile between use. (Reduce spread of germs) Most of them were dirty sticky after use. If this hotel and staff did these few things this hotel would be a 5 star rating.

Friendly and helpful staff. Bathtub drain problem, so we were given another room. Breakfast OK. Clean and centrally located area. Nice rooms however beds were not the most comfortable. Very quiet, didn't hear any hallway noise. Very nice pool area and plenty of parking.

Great hotel for the price, clean, modern, very nice staff, good breakfast included, convenient to all of Phoenix area, very secure, well lighted, very nice bathroom, $40 less than comparables. We like pet free rooms due to allergies and this one was great. I wish the fitness room was bigger/better equipped but for the price it was ok.

Stayed here an entire week for work, they picked my coworker and I up from the airport within 30 min of arriving. They took us to most of our destinations and gladly picked us up. The drivers had great personalities. My room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. The mall is only about a 10 minute walk so that was nice as well.

Personnel very professional, property very well keep up and clean. Close to shopping center with complimentary shuttle to several locations in the area along with the short distance from the airport. Just off the Interstate although far enough that no traffic noise. Would lodge here again when in the area.

BW Tempe is the best place to stay when in Phoenix. Close to the airport, excellent and timely shuttle service. Great breakfast and the most courteous staff! I highly recommend BW Tempe. "An Otherwise Excellent BW Experience With One BIg Flaw"

I stay almost exclusively at Best Western Hotels. They seem to provide a very good cost/quality balance. The rooms are always very clean and quiet, the beds very comfortable, and the staff courteous, professional and helpful. What more could you ask for in a routine hotel stay? Unfortunately the normally great BW experience was marred during several recent stays at two area locations in Tempe and Mesa. Both have the worst pillows I've ever seen. Small, square(!), very lumpy and offering little support, they ruin an otherwise great sleep experience. I don't know the rationale for this selection, but they seem to be a case trying to do something on the cheap. Worse, being something a wee bit important if you're in the sleep business. Location ideal to explore further afield. We stayed on both parts of our trip, a total of 3 nights. Explored the mall Arizona Mall- super deals as outlets stores. The buffet breakfast is a must, really sets you up for the day. I had a later check out time given due to late departure time back to UK. Pool area nice but pool cold, hot tub a bonus. Shame we didn't get to sit in the sun and enjoy the area more. Too busy being busy. Tea and coffee in the lobby all day, a nice touch too.

When I opened the door of the room I was given at checkin, there was a suitcase and an unmade bed inside that room. I returned to the desk, advised the clerk that the room was already occupied and was given another room. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN!!!!

We had a great time in Phoenix this past weekend. My hotel was convenient and a comfortable place to stay. The rooms were clean, quiet and beds were comfortable. The pool and spa were great. The complementary breakfast had a good selection. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend! !

While traveling, decided to visit relatives and needed a place to stay for the night. Glad that we chose this place. Freeway easy to get to and easy to find. Free parking close to the entrance. Very large lobby and you front desk makes you feel comfortable. We choose Best Western lots of times but some of different than others. Also this was a BW Plus. This was different in a very good way. Price was right. Room was large size, clean, quiet, good pressure on the shower and bed was very comfortable - we slept great. Food in the morning was standard BW stuff - cereals, waffles you can make, burritos, yogurt, a little bit of fruit, juice, coffee. This one was good as there was plenty of seating (sometimes you are in a postage stamp sized room and most of the food is gone when you get there). Although there were lots of people at the hotel - it did not feel crowded. Food & coffee was replaced very regularly. Has a pool but we did not use it. Restaurants are close by and like I said, you can get to freeway fast to go places.

"Staff Nice - Room Stunk"

The staff was extremely nice, as we have grown to expect from our frequent stays at Best Western Plus hotels. However we made sure to reserve a non-smoking room, but the room was definitely a smoker's room. It was fine until we turned on the air, and then it smelled like people were in our room smoking.

I have stayed at this hotel for years & this stat was the worst ever. We stayed here this time to see our daughter who was being stationed out. The room was dirty with stains in the carpet. The carpet was wet that left a foul smell on my kids socks. The bathroom was dirty and disgusting. The tub was black and had hair dye stains on it. We placed towels on the bottom in order to shower. I did bring this to the front desk and they wanted to me us but my kids were already in bed. Front desk very concerned and friendly. It seems like they have just let this hotel go. Will never return!!!

When I'm looking for a hotel, I'm not interested in a luxury place or a place with a lot of fancy amenities; I want it to be clean, quiet, and close to things I'm going to be doing. The Best Western PLUS Tempe by the Mall fits the bill when I'm in the Phoenix-Tempe-Mesa area. I've never had any problems at this hotel; in fact, when I had some personal problems during a couple of stays, the staff has cheerfully done what they could to help resolve my difficulty. It's a modest place, but clean and quiet (in my experience), plus they offer a complimentary breakfast.

Very close to the zoo, botanical gardens, and mall. Lots of good places to eat around this area. Rooms were very nice. Comfy beds. Nice and clean. Front desk staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent for being free. Hot tub was great. Went in the pool at 8pm even though it was the middle of January, water wasnt that cold. Id definitely stay again.

Very professional and friendly staff. The rooms could use updating but they are kept clean. Nicely prepared breakfast buffet. The park and fly program is very handy. The shopping mall and resturants in the area are walking distance from hotel.

Stayed here after arriving late night in Phoenix before heading to Tucson the next morning. Was conveniently located off I-10 and was one of the few hotels in the area with two queens, which was perfect for our family of four. Staff was friendly and room was clean.

For the price, this is a great hotel. My friends and I do the Rock n Roll marathon every year and this is where we always stay. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfy. The breakfast has lots of options. The staff members are always pleasant and helpful.

"Two nights - Disappointed - Will not return"

Some of our family recently were transferred to Tempe, and with a new grandbaby on the way - we were searching for a place to stay when visiting since they live in a small apartment. The bad - 1) Unclean bathroom - someone's wiskers in bathroom sink at check-in 2) Poor temperature control - thermostat appears to control air conditioning blower only - we were very cold both mornings when in lower 40's outside. 3) The bed was too, too soft. 4) Noisy - even with my hearing aids removed - staff was shouting and making enough noise to wake us up around 5:30am, as well as other noise. 5) Safety issue in bathroom - walk-in shower with a very low threshold and a curtain with a 3-4 inch gap from the bottom allowed water to escape to tiled bathroom floor - no rug provided for slip protection. 6) Low water pressure/poor shower wand made shower challenging first day.. 7) Handle/lock on bathroom door difficult to operate and sticks. 7) At checkout - when issues were brought to desk staff's attention - I was told it was somehow Expedia's fault. The good - 1) Nice public areas 2) Plenty of parking 3) In room microwave and fridge 4) Good in-room wifi Unknown - 1) we didn't try the breakfast since we ate with our family both days.

Excellent hotel with clean spacious rooms and good service. The location Iis very accessible to Nrizona State University and the Phoenix airpot. The hotel is quiet and has a good complimenary breakfast.

Stayed here for the CFP National Championship. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very friendly. We booked ahead on Booking.com and got checked into our room in only 2 or 3 min once we arrived. The rooms are spacious and clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean, water pressure wasn't and issue and overall it was a great hotel to stay at and I would definitely stay there again. The only downside was the free Wi-Fi was unbelievably bad and I ended up not using it. Just something to keep in mind!

The location was the first reason I booked here, the price was the second and the value received confirmed that I had made a good choice. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient and the in-room WiFi was helpful. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our 4 nights at this hotel. The place was kept extremely clean and the staff was great. The free breakfast was good though they need more than 2 waffle makers. THe furniture was a little dated in the room and the the mattresses were way too soft. Over all a nice visit

"Better Quailty Needed"

The hotel charged a fee without ever disclosing the charges prior to arrival. It was a $2.00 fee per day as the host said for ECO and all rooms pay that fee. So imagine what underhand amount that charge is a month. and you are not told about the fee until you arrive for check in, so if you cancel after six you will be charged a fee for vacation reservation after the required time. Shower leaked from the roof or either it was at the shower pipes in the room above. Bed slept good and house keeping was nice. Don't recommend to stay there unless you just want to be close to the mall.

Great hotel and wonderful service. Breakfast was great. Nice rooms. I didn't have time to use the pool but the pool looked refreshing and the pool area was clean!! Will stay again next time I'm in the area!!!

The room was large and very clean, but could have used a bit of updating. For example, only 4 small pillows. We need big pillows and fluffy ones. The towels also could have been a bit fluffier. There was a free breakfast. A shuttle to the airport but didn't use it because we rented a car. The hotel is in a good location with restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Visited Tempe over the thanks giving weekend and stayed at this location, the room was clean, nice comfy bed, cleanliness in the hallways was awesome,decent breakfast,located right next to the mall, had fun on black friday,easy access from the freeway and not far from tempe downtown and ASU.

Clean and hospitable but poor wireless internet in the room. Okay place to stay if you don't need to work while you're there. Also has soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower which I do not care for but if you ask for bar soar they will gladly provide it.

Stayed here for business, from the moment Art one of their shuttle drivers picked me up from the airport I knew I picked the best hotel! He was so professional and fun! The front desk staff at check in and through out my stay were wonderful! They always greeted with a smile and socialized with me and all the guests! Miguel and Liza (so sorry not sure on correctness of name) fantastic employees! David and Todd drivers always there wherever I wanted to go, be for work or out to different restaurants! The breakfast lady Monday-Friday! WOW! She is simply amazing! Keeps coffee, food and area perfect! I will be back!!! Thank you for a great stay!!

Check in went fine and the hotel apprearance was OK. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room seemed fine except that we had a problem connecting to the WIFI. Someone came to help us connect and they experienced some difficulty (had to go into the hallway to connect). The connection lasted less than 5 min. and after several more attempts we finally gave up. I also awoke the next morning with numerous bug bites which was concerning. I would not rate this hotel as a PLUS and would likely not stay here again.

Went to Tempe from San Diego to see a Tool concert on Halloween. Stayed 2 nights (Friday & Saturday). Desk was very friendly. Rooms were clean and included a microwave and mini fridge. They had breakfast downstairs which were eggs, potatoes, sausage/bacon, bagels, toast, etc. Nice place to stay!

Stayed one night before flying out. One of the shuttle drivers very friendly. Rooms are simple, but good. Front desk clerk helpful. Pool area small. Location good for services, but quiet enough as well. I would stay again if passing through.

None of the lamps in the room were in working order , the telephone in the room did not work, and the new "green" television remote controls only partially work with the televisions. The maintenance man that came to my room told me that several buttons do not work on all the remotes because they are not compatible with the televisions. Unable to set the sleep timer on the TV as well.

Great place to stay. Rooms were very clean. hotel looked new. Employees were helpful. I will stay here again when I am in Tempe. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Place looked new. Good location. Close to I10. Beds were great to sleep in.

Even though this was a one night stop on my way to Long Beach CA, I was so impressed with the polite personnel and helpful information since I was using their shuttle service to get to and from the Phoenix Airport. Pricing was very reasonable and the room was very comfortable. I fully intend to stay here at a future date. Well done, people!

What a Busy Hotel sure can use a few more staff members, All staff that I encounter was great especially Esmerald as busy as she was went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We always stay here when we travel to Arizona. The popcorn in the evening is a nice touch but sure miss the cookies. Will be returning in a week. Thank you for your Hospitality.

I spent one night here during a cross country trip. Fantastic deal. Convenient location right off of I-10 but far enough to be quiet. Room is very comfortable and modern. Very clean and well maintained. Decent free breakfast. Great price for the area.

We checked in around 530pm room was hot&AC would not het cold AT ALL, maintenance said it was working well. We left the room at 7PM to go eat dinner came back at 945 the room was still HOT even though we left the AC on for it to cool off. Checked out @10PM because no other rooms were available, the hotel wouldn't refund me for those VERY FEW hours we spent in there. MAINTENANCE WERE TAKING BOX FANS TO EVERY ROOM. SEEMS WE WERE NOT THE ONLY ONES WITH AC ISSUES. Also our mini fridge would not work at all which maintenance also told us was working fine. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!

It may not look like it but this hotel is central to everything in Phoenix. We went to everything from the challenger center at the north west corner of the 101 down to south east corner of Chandler. The breakfast is good (no soggy eggs.) The A/C is quiet and not under the window. beds are comfortable (brother would be snoring within 5 min of lights out.) All the staff we talked to were very knowledgeable about the area for grocery stores and malls. Best vacation in a long time.

The location and room rate of this property made it slightly better than average for me. The room, staff and breakfast were average for this class of property. But the proximity to the airport, my conference at the Arizona Grand and shopping and dining made all the difference to me.

I've stayed at this hotel before. Twice when my Sister has come to Arizona from Calif for a short visit. Once when My companion and I prior to departing on an International Vacation. Your hotel is Clean, Breakfast is super, staff is excellent, rooms clean, Lobby very attractive. Plus the Shuttle to to/from the airport is outstanding.

Clean facilities and a courteous staff at a great price. Pretty close to the airport (less than a 10 minute drive). But the motel could use an updating in décor and in the bathrooms and does not fit my idea of what a PLUS motel should be. Also, the breakfast did not have much to offer folks that need a gluten free diet.

Everything about this Hotel was positive, from the time I booked the reservation until we checked out. I made my reservation a couple of months ago, the price was good, however I was looking up some information on the hotel sometime later and noticed a special offer that was less than my reservation, so I called to see if I could get that price and the person I talked with was very friendly and changed my reservation immediately. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody who is traveling in the Phoenix area.

It was excellent except for the internet not working on the 4th floor.For the breakfast , real eggs would have been better and hot boiled eggs please. Some grapes as would have been nice , fruits in America are very cheap. Nonetheless the experience was very nice. I would stay there again.

Pleasant staff, good location, CLEAN! Have stayed here many times traveling by auto and plane (close to airport with shuttle service!). Well priced for the average tourist wanting comfort and cleanliness.
