Best Western Plus Tallahassee North Hotel

The hotel is clean and classy. Entry lobby is warm and inviting, the dining room is as well. Breakfast is delicious, eggs and perfectly cooked bacon, biscuits, gravy and other breads, hard boiled eggs and yogurts. Coffee is delicious and there are various juices to choose from. The staff is incredible namely MaKayla and the manager (Kevin?). They both went out of their way to help us find a wine bottle opener-to the extent that the manager went next door to the bar in a different hotel to get one for us. MaKayla was super sweet and more than just helpful. We had so much stuff to bring in we asked for a first level room which she worked to make happen for us. I can't say enough about this team! Easy on and off of I-10 perfect location just north of Tallahassee.

The hotel is well maintained and clean. The team members take very good care of it. Breakfast was good. Ms. Lilly takes great pride in the breakfast area. It is well maintained, the food is keep stocked and hot. I also want to say she makes very good French Toast. My wife loved it and I heard many others saying how good it is. You have a great team member with Ms. Lilly.

We checked in on a Wednesday night. The front desk person was quite nice and helpful. The room was clean and quiet all night. Everything worked properly in the room including drains, heater, and coffee maker. Breakfast was served from 6am to 9am and was excellent. This is a good place to stay.

Stayed here one night to visit my niece at FSU, the hotel was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again. It's in a good location right off the freeway. It was easy to get to campus and to restaurants around the area. The parking lot was well lit.

Total comfort, that will take away all stress levels. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, The moment you step on the property you have that at home feeling and comfort. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a great getaway.

The hotel lobby was very nice and provided a wonderful space to meet with visitors. The room was sufficient for a short stay. Shower was hot with good water pressure. Bring your own charging bricks. The breakfast was comparable to most hotels.

Very clean room, not a new property but very well maintained and well kept, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, handy location right off the freeway with restaurants nearby, and a good price. We'll stay here again for sure and gladly recommend.

So clean and comfortable! Check in was easy. Breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel like his one. Parking lot was well lit, and the room key was needed to gain entry into the hotel side and back doors. Really great nights sleep, nice shower too.

I hade a good stay with my Family . The check in was quick and easy and the gentleman that was working over night was really night and friendly. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. When checking out the I did not feel like house keeper was rushing to start cleaning the room. They were really happy and smiley. I would bring my family back

CLEAN!!! Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was great and free. Customer service was excellent. Price point was good. The only downside was there needs to be more coffee stations. It got backed up pretty quickly.

My husband and I were in Tallahassee visiting our daughter at FSU. This property is about 15 minutes from campus but that was fine for us. We didn't mind the drive at all. Hotel was great! Front desk ladies we very friendly, room was spacious and clean, bathroom was spotless, and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Well run hotel, very helpful. They were very busy, but the courtesy remained the same for every person checking in. Beds were very comfortable, slept very well. Very clean room/bathroom. Staff was professional from check-in to cleaning crew!

So clean!! Stayed one night we wished it was more. They tried to accommodate us but they were booked. The staff were great everything was so well kept! The cleaning crew was super nice and hardworking! I would stay here again for sure!!

Clean, quiet and good neighborhood near the interstate and a perfect stop for our long drive from Texas to Florida. The price as also outstanding. Close to other restaurants, gas, etc. I actually recommended this hotel to our family for their drive back from a wedding we were all in while in Florida.

The hotel staff is friendly, the lobby is clean and calming, the rooms are clean, checkin was easy, I got a late checkout easily. Our room was cleaned without any special procedure required—like some hotels don't clean unless you specifically request it or put a card out or other stuff. We just returned to a clean room, which was really nice. The best part was the breakfast—Donna made a delicious buffet style breakfast 2 days in a row. There was something for everyone—eggs, grits, pancakes, bread/bagels, delicious coffee with a machine for cappuccinos etc, cereals, muffins, fruit. Breakfast starts at 7 on the weekends, 6 during the week. We have to come to Tallahassee twice a year and we will stay here again.

We arrived late at night and only stayed one night, but had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable. The whole property looked nice and felt safe. The breakfast was excellent. They even had a new coffee machine that dispensed customized drinks!

This is an excellent hotel! Their maintenance staff promptly does any repairs, their kitchen staff prepare excellent breakfasts, the front desk staff are consistently helpful...The only weakness is the internet. I have been here 2 wks. and have just given up on accessing internet in my room. This is the decision of some management personnel so I don't blame them.

This hotel was well serviced and clean. I would stay here again. The complimentary breakfast was great. They even offer cookies in weeknights! Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't use the gym or pool but both looked nice.

This hotel has the best hot breakfast served I have ever seen in all of my hotel visits. And that is quite a few. The lady who worked the kitchen duty that day had a real tough job to do as there were teenagers from various baseball teams in town for a tournament and I mean she had her hands full keeping the hot food bar stocked with breakfast items from them alone. Nevermind the other guests staying there. She simply did an awesome job at it and the smile never left her face as she worked. Now my wife and I were only in town for the one night while we were passing through on the way to Ormond Beach but our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The room was clean, and comfortable and all amenities worked very well. We will be staying there again the next time we are passing through Tallahassee.

Convenient stop along I-10 that was clean, comfortable and quiet. Well lit parking area .The staff was pleasant, courteous and helpful. Free breakfast was a plus to get me on the road quickly next morning. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Excellent front desk service followed up the next day with phenomenal breakfast! The room was extremely clean and the amenities were all in working order and plentiful. Utilized the refrigerator as well.

Needed a stop over on my way from Boca Raton to New Orleans. I was traveling on December 26, so I booked it in advance. The location was great, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. There were also a lot of nearby conveniences and dinner options. I was very happy with this stay.

It's about getting the details right. Clean. Good beds. Climate control under your control. Bathroom fixtures that work the way they are supposed to work. Hot breakfast. Cold refrigerators. Good soap and shampoo. Nothing really stood out because nothing was wrong. This is a well-run hotel.

There were roaches in the room# 205. Had to change room in the middle of the night. The new room was clean. Breakfast is good with many options and staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is quite good and close to FSU. Many food options nearby

Very pleased with accommodations. Every member of the staff that we encountered greeted us with a smile. The room and bathroom were very clean room. The free breakfast was the best one we had on are trip. Great value.

We found a jar of used hair gel under the bed from the previous guest. Broken electrical outlets and alarm did not work. Bathroom sink smelled like it had sewage backup. Not at all worth what we paid.

Donna's biscuits on the breakfast buffet were even better than my homemade ones! The entire staff made us feel welcome. We stayed for a week, and every interaction with staff was a positive one. The vibe was warm and professional. We were truly treated like family!

The BW Plus Tallahassee North was clean, modern, and very comfortable. Everything I've come to expect of Best Western was there along with a bit more (small aside, that's a heck of a lobby for a BW). Got a perfect night sleep and woke up to a proper hot breakfast. The staff were cheerful and genuine, as if they knew I used to live in Tally. The next time I'm in town for the FSU game I'll be staying here. Go Noles!

Don't stay anywhere else you will not be dissappionted in this lovely, friendly super clean hotel minutes from everywhere is Tallahassee. My husband and I have been staying here for 11 years. Try anywhere else you will be back here. I assure you!!!

We've been staying at this motel for years. Cannot go wrong staying here. Breakfast was great as well as service with a smile. The cookies are good and are always available. Easy in and out with location right on I10.

This is a very clean, quiet hotel, with easy access from Interstate 10. The room was large and well-appointed. Although we stayed only one night while traveling, it was a first-rate experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was outstanding, delicious, fresh food served in a very clean and comfortable setting.

My initial impression of this BW was very positive. Very nice lobby and the front desk Perón was lovely. I will also say that breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately the room itsel was very disappointing. The room was on the street side of the building. The traffic noise was as bad as anywhere I've stayed. It was very loud. Also the bed was very “firm”. Both of us had stiff backs in the morning. Lastly the floor in the bathroom was sticky. Your shoes stuck when you walked on it. It might have made a difference if we had an inside room as far as the noise but the bed was just too hard.

Do not come here! We were greeted by a roach crawling on the door. When we entered, there was a roach on the floor and chip crumbs on the chair. When we took a shower, a live roach fell out of the bath towel. On top of that, when we checked in the hotel worker was cursing out the security guard in a very intimidating way. This place is not good at all.

The hotel and room looked clean upon walking in. After inspection, you will find issues with refrigerator, telephone not working, huge stains on dust ruffle and DUST almost an inch thick on the lamp cords and behind the nightstand. We were definitely traumatized by this experience.

We stayed in an odd numbered room which was away from the road, super quiet and well appreciated compared to many places we have stayed. Breakfast was a bit above the typical BW with lots of choices of fresh fruit. We only had one issue with the place and that was that the internet was slow. Would definitely stay there again

While the second room was nice, the way they made us wait for the engineer to come and check the air-conditioning before giving us a new room, when we had just checked in, started the stay pretty miserable. We had to wait around until he told the front desk that he could not fix it! Ridiculous, when we had just gotten to the room and we told the front desk we were exhausted. Then we were given a communicating room with a family with 3 small children! In the morning the breakfast area looked like a food fight had gone on, and the prep-room looked disgusting, needless to say we skipped it. The front desk clerk was nice and apologetic but had to follow the policies. The rooms are fine, but I would not stay here again.

After 2 mediocre experiences at other Best Westerns we felt we were in heaven when we got into our room here. Spacious, very clean and perfect for handicap in a scooter. Front desk gal was super--friendly and helpful. Several good restaurants near- by. Very quiet, comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast was very good and service from Lilly and Donna perfect. Biggest surprise was the price was considerably less then at a much inferior BW we stayed in the night before. AND--parking space and entrance was right near our room. That is important when you can't walk far.

I was there during the hurricane due to mandatory evacuations. The hotel was packed with all the people coming from the evacuations. It went smooth and the breakfast buffet was more like dinner at an excellent restaurant. They fed everyone with great food and kindness.

The hotel was very clean from the lobby to the laundry room. Yes they have a laundry room for guests. The bedroom was clean and updated. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The front desk staff called the room as soon as we entered to make sure it was to our liking. The breakfast was really good.

Went for FSU parents weekend, got this room last minute so we were a bit nervous. So happy to say it was perfect for what we were there for. Price was higher than normal, but I get that's the norm for busy college weekends. Room and entire property was clean and updated, just like the pics show. We had zero issues. Easy 10-12 min Uber to/from campus for games etc. The interior hallways were def warmer than the rooms, but seriously, not a reason to complain or leave a bad review especially since I don't usually hang out in the hallways of the hotels I stay in lol. I wish I remembered the girls name at the front desk when we checked in, but she was SO friendly and efficient. Kudos to her for welcoming your BW guests with such kindness and professionalism. She is the face of your business and should be commended on job very well done! Overall great stay

My wife and I stayed at this Best Western for one night on our cross-country drive. The room was nice for the cost - appeared older, but the room was nice, large, and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

It was pretty good for the price. Clean and comfortable. The front desk lady had cookies when we arrived. It's also at walking distance from a seafood restaurant. The drain was clogged in our room, but other than that, pretty good.

The tap in the tub was malfunctioning , no order of hot or cold. The repair person for maintenance was called and they changed the room....now the phone (landline didn't work) . That to me is a safety issue given that wireless connectivity may or may not be there. We are still waiting for that phone call from the manager to "discuss " this.

The Best Western Plus in Talahassee was very clean, comfortable, and affordable. We liked the decorations in the room. and the little extras. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. The stay was so nice. We would love to see motels like this all over the country. I do recommend this place to everyone.

Stayed for orientation at FSU. Great value for the price. Room was recently renovated and clean. Bathroom was nice and had walk in shower which was convenient for assisting my daughter with special needs. Breakfast was above average for a free hotel breakfast and had a variety of items. They had freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. Only negatives were a musty smell coming out of the AC unit in the room and a homeless camp just outside of the hotel pool. Neither was a big enough deal to not want to stay there. Would definitely book this property again.

Kyle at the front desk was so pleasant ~ cheerful, helpful, efficient. Covered front entry with automatic front doors meant we didn't get wet during a sudden late summer afternoon thunderstorm. Fresh cookies & coffee awaited us in the beautiful lobby. Standard double was spotless. Appreciated the easily accessible bedside outlets & nifty little flexible wall mounted reading lamps. Nice linens on super comfortable beds with four fat, fluffy pillows. Fridge/micro & fin-room coffee. Free wifi w/ample signal strength. Outdoor pool area was inviting, water sparkling, nice landscaping. Very clean bathroom w/granite counter, generous supply of thick, bright white towels & plenty of hot water with great pressure. I hesitate to bring it up but think it worth mentioning that I had noticed a couple of abandoned shopping carts at the off ramp of I-10 @ Exit 199 as we arrived & frankly it was unsettling to see several tents set up under the trees on street side of the fence out front! But Kyle assured me the homeless kept to themselves & the hotel had security on site, so I counted my blessings, reminding myself of all I have to be grateful for...

Perfect place to stay during a road trip. Very close to the highway ... in and out in no time. Hotel was very clean, room was clean, A/C was great, and included breakfast is all you need in the morning to get you going on the road again. It was plentiful. They even had lactose-free soy milk for the coffee. Check-in was in less than 2 minutes.

This is a great Best Western - very friendly, good staff, great hot breakfast. Located near restaurants and right off of the interstate. Our room was very comfortable with all the amenities that we needed.

You can tell the hotel has just been refurbished. Everything is fresh and clean. Rooms seemed a little bigger than average. Staff helpful. You can walk to Wahoo Seafood Grill for a good meal. If you don't like road noise, ask for an odd room #. It wasn't loud, but you can hear it. I was tired, so it didn't bother me. Breakfast was super !!! lots of selection. I was impressed with breakfast.

Clean and we were treated nicely at the front desk, but, breakfast was a real disappointment. There was no bread of any kind, only reheated pancakes in the oatmeal container. Sausage and eggs were all the hot food. Other guests said there was an ample smorgasbord the previous day. Very upsetting to pay weekend rates for a poor breakfast!

This hotel is an excellent choice for Tallahassee. The rooms a large, clean and comfortable. The internet is fine. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts, I had in a while in terms of quantity, quality and variety. The staff was friendly. Very enjoyable stay.

Nice surprise to find a good quality hotel at a reasonable price. Room was great and breakfast in the am was also. Convenient to interstate but no road noise. It looked like they were running a hotel employee school they had so many people around to clean rooms, serve breakfast and a smiling manager walking the halls.

The Holiday Inn East Capitol is my hotel of choice, but the rates have increased astronomically without breakfast. I tried Seven Hills Suites but because I have a cat & cigarette allergy (it's more of a motel), that did not bode well. Best Western is my new home while in Tally. Service The reception is always cordial and at the desk, especially when the manager is working. He gave me a free bottle of water, I did not get one last time. I didn't get one last time. They don't have shower caps but otherwise are available for extra towels etc. Area It's a safe location with quick access to the expressway, stores and restaurants. There's always plenty of parking as well. Amenities There's a 24 hour fitness room with free weights, elliptical, treadmill and TV's. There's a pool and a typical business center area. The elevators are always extremely warm and they broke down for a few hours during my first visit. Price Rooms average around $100 which is a good value given the ratings. I pay for safety, comfort & cleanliness. Rooms The rooms are big and clean. The beds are comfortable but the pillows are small and lumpy. There's good water pressure in the shower, a large flat screen TV (no premium cable channels), solid WiFi, a desk and chair, microwave and mini fridge. There's no luggage rack. There are blackout curtains, the air blows cold and it's pretty good white noise which can mostly drown out guests who are talking in the hallway. You can't hear your neighbors. The Pharmacopia toiletries were high end. The only annoyance was housekeeping who started talking loudly outside the rooms at about 9:30 am, but I was already up for breakfast. Breakfast This is the only real disappointment at the Best Western. How I wish they'd invest in a self-serve waffle iron! Or at least real eggs. They offer wet, powdered, unseasoned eggs, frozen but reheated biscuits and greasy bacon. Honestly, I can't stomach the hot food so I go to Earley's Kitchen for breakfast. There's also a Waffle House and Burger King nearby. To be fair, one guest piled his plate with what looked like 12 eggs & 40 slices of bacon to take with him so maybe BW is trying to save money with the cheap food. I suggest having an attendant present for greedy patrons. They do have fruit and packaged foods (yogurt, granola bars, muffins [another guest said they were expired], bananas and oranges. They ran out of yogurt during my last visit. The attendants are friendly. All in all, the Best Western is my backup to the Holiday Inn Express. It's a solid four stars and I'll likely return.

This BW facility is wonderful. Location is very good. The hotel has great, helpful staff. The building is like-new and the grounds very clean and safe. Room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast offered exceeded our expectations as compared to other hotels.

This hotel is a great stay for those looking for a clean and quiet place to sleep at night. The hotel's location is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but within only a short 10 minute drive to everything downtown has to offer. The hotel is an older property, but they have done a FANTASTIC job of renovating it and keeping the finishes new and refreshed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms have been updated. Breakfast had great choices! This location is VERY QUIET at night, which I appreciate as I am a light sleeper. The rooms have been soundproofed between walls and this hotel definitely caters itself to those seeking a quiet place to sleep at night. I have to come to Tallahassee every two weeks for business and I am making this my go-to hotel from now on! Thank you for a great experience!

The location was nice for it was just off of Interstate 10 which made it very convenient. Check in an out was quick and easy. The room was real clean and the king bed was very comfortable. Although the pillows were small, there were 4 but they were good enough however larger pillows would have been better. The morning free breakfast was delicious with a variety of items to choose from. We had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage hash brown potatoes, yogurt, coffee and juice. They had a few bowls of fruit such as apples, oranges, bananas etc. which were fresh. The hotel had an outdoor pool however we did not use it. We would stay here again for it was a great stay.....

The hotel is clean and decent. Evening girl working was extremely nice, the morning man working was not. Breakfast is until 9am sharp, my biggest complaint is that the coffee is removed from the lobby at 9am!!! NO COFFEE at 9:01!! When I asked can get some coffee the front desk told me no breakfast is over at 9. When I told them most hotels leave coffee out all day I was told “we don't, breakfast ends at 9” I literally had to walk over to the Holiday Inn next door and they gave me coffee. I paid $700 for 2 nights and I couldn't get a cup of coffee.

The hotel was recently remodeled and sound proofed. We stayed on the third floor facing other hotels. It was so quiet we slept really well. The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly. We had a great overnight stay. We will be staying here again!

I stay there for 3 days they do offer breakfast and the room was clean and the staff was more friendly than other places i stay and the bed sheets was cleaned no stain i will definitely give them 4 stars

Quick summary: my review is based on what I expect of this type of good-value hotel. The room was quiet, clean and very comfortable (beds, etc.) Friendly, professional staff. Very good breakfast. Nice outdoor pool. We stayed here on night while travelling through. Room 131 has two very comfortable queen beds. Many of the usual amenities one expects at a BW property -- fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron/board, etc. I appreciate that the furnishings are like real furnishings -- a door on the closet with a full-length mirror; three drawers in the chest, etc. I love rugs on the floor, where so many are going to some kind of wood (?) flooring. I'm fine with flooring at the entry and high traffic areas, but rugs are so much nicer than cold flooring on bare feet. (So many places are cheaping out with open shelving, an open rack for a closet, etc.) Instead of a desk there is a small table and two chairs - easier in-room dining? Good HVAC and complimentary wifi. Bathroom has a separate area for the sink where you can spread out on a vanity. The little room with the tub/shower and toilet is blessedly on two switches - one for just light, and the other for light/vent. Even so, this vent was quieter than many I have experienced lately. Shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion provided. Excellent housekeeping. Friendly, professional service throughout. Excellent breakfast of hot and cold items -- sausage, eggs, cereals, breads, biscuits (YAY!!) fruits, juices, yogurt. LOVE that this place has real half-and-half for coffee, not just non-dairy creamer. Nice outdoor pool. We didn't use it, but it looks cleans, in a nice setting. We'd be happy to stay again!

This is about my families fourth time staying at this hotel. Our daughter attends college here in Tallahassee. The hotel and rooms are always was clean. Staff is professional. The breakfast is pretty good.

My husband and I had not stayed at a best Western in years. We found this gem online and are so happy that we did! The value was exceptional, clean room, outstanding mattress and pillows, really good hot breakfast (crispy bacon, tasty wheat toast & butter, scrambled eggs, and blueberry yogurt.) Staff was friendly & professional when making reservations over the phone, as well as late night check in. No complaints here, just a very happy customer. Will return again when we come through Tallahassee again.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, grate rate! Had a vending machine with snacks that weren't ridiculously overpriced and a nice fitness center! I couldn't be happier with the hotel.

we have beenstaying here for years. my kids moved up here for college. needless to say they have both found jobs here in the Tallahassee area we have been staying here for 10 to 12 years now. We never stay anywhere else. We are VIP.

Great location near restaurants and stores for things you may need, clean room, clean bathroom, and a good breakfast which we liked a lot. There where plenty of carts, and the staff was helpful and courteous.

This Best Western Plus hotel is very nice with a friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful setting, pool, etc. with restaurants close by. Rooms are above average and it is well maintained. We did not have breakfast as we were late leaving but the offering looked very good, better than most.

This hotel is very clean and the morning breakfast is excellent. Also there is a great seafood restaurant across the parking lot so no need to get back in your car for dinner. We make this location a yearly stop.

While the second room was nice, the way they made us wait for the engineer to come and check the air-conditioning before giving us a new room, when we had just checked in, started the stay pretty miserable. We had to wait around until he told the front desk that he could not fix it! Ridiculous, when we had just gotten to the room and we told the front desk we were exhausted. Then we were given a communicating room with a family with 3 small children! In the morning the breakfast area looked like a food fight had gone on, and the prep-room looked disgusting, needless to say we skipped it. The front desk clerk was nice and apologetic but had to follow the policies. The rooms are fine, but I would not stay here again.

Sadly, I can't rate the free breakfast because the hotel was so quiet I slept right through it. The remodeling of this hotel was done so well! The lobby feels like you're in the living room of your own home. I will definitely stay here the next time I come through town

Good hotel, uneventful checkin. No smiles or special treatment. Just the bare minimum but efficient. Room, King Size bed, confortable and big. Coffee, microwave and mini fridge ( big mini fridge). I might add that the breakfast was excellent for this kind of roadside hotel.

Check in was not a pleasant experience, the clerk yelled to us from the office. Finally did appear to check us in. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast, on the other hand, was a delight - presided over by a wonderful lady who made sure we found what we wanted. Check out was not pleasant either, as we had to search for the clerk again.

The breakfast, room and service, as well as the location were all very good. The Accessible room was far below standard ADA standards. Toilet was so low that it was very difficult to use. What should have been a pleasant experience became a difficult one.

The staff, the uber cleanliness make this hotel extremely pleasant. After spending big bucks in large chain more expensive hotels for the last 2 months I have grown disappointed at their lack of cleanliness and subpar reception staff. I decided to stay at this Best Western and I was welcomed to a pleasant reception with soft music and professional staff. The room was uber clean, the breakfast well cooked and served, quiet for a great night sleep, decorated like most other Hilton and....no freaking dogs barking or infecting the furniture and floors with their dirty butts. How refreshing a hotel for humans! All at the fraction of the price I have been paying elsewhere. Don't be deceived by other hotel high reviews, they are a lie, this hotel is spot on.

I stayed here with my cross country team. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, getting us approved for late checkout, setting up breakfast an hour early to accommodate our race time, and making extra keys when the kids locked themselves out of their room. They were very friendly and accommodating.

Its so nice to feel welcomed as I did her in Tallahassee at Best Western. This was my second at this hotel as a BW. Prior was another chain. i ve stayed at other local hotel but will not in the future. Only BW here.

I'd love to say a lot of positive things about staying in this hotel! We were traveling so much with my husband - and this hotel I will definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting Tallahassee. Rooms, breakfast and reception areas were clean. The staff was friendly. Luckily, we were even allowed to check in an hour earlier (which was very helpful). I was pleasantly surprised with hot breakfast served (which was not that popular in summer 2021). For those who wanted to take breakfast with them managers provided boxes (in stead of just plates) + bottles of water. Really nice management! I felt safe and full of positive emotions))) Best wishes to all personnel that contributes to this high quality service!

I book this hotel because it was a Best Western Plus. The stay included a full breakfast. When we got to our room my daughter slipped on the slick linoleum floor by the bathroom. The room was very humid. Even through we were in Florida we didn't expect to feel that in the room. We checked for any open windows. None. We tried to turn on the TV but it didn't work. We call to have maintenance look at it. While we waited we took our shoes off and noticed the carpet was wet. At that time we decided to change rooms. When we to get the luggage cart we were told that our room should never had been rented out. They had just sprayed the ceiling with something. The luggage cart was horrible. Hard to push and had a messed up wheel. It reminded us of the Night Bus from Harry Potter. The new room was fine. Breakfast was poor. Super thin drowning in butter french toast along with over cooked bacon. Very few choices. Disappointing as this was supposed to be a full breakfast. We ate elsewhere.

Since my daughters went to college up in Tallahassee 10 years ago and both secured amazing jobs after graduation Best Western has been our home away from home. My husband and I have never stayed anywhere else and have never had a reason to. The consistency has never faltered. Amazing hotel, service, cleanliness, even during the pandemic, Best Western has never disappointed us!!!! you will be extremely happy :)

Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Housekeeping skipped our room and it took several conversations to get it cleaned. We selected the hotel for the included breakfast. Breakfast is served too late at 7am. We had early events to attend so we did not get to eat the included breakfast. They need to start it earlier.

Arrived late after many hours driving. First room had a terrible odor. AC not working in the room they moved us to. The third room was ok until the next morning when the toilet backed up. Went to pull a towel and the rack came off the wall. Only one elevator with the number buttons so worn, you can barely read them. I asked to speak to the manager on the day we left, and was told he/she was not there. Left all my information for a call back, but have yet to get any response. Very disappointed with this hotel.

Major Props to Makyla, Corneil and Jay. I wish every new check in encounter was as warm, friendly and welcoming as theirs. Travelled here to check out FSU campus with our son. The hotel is above average for a budget friendly space. Nit pickers may feel differently about some aspects of the room like stains on the carpet but the important things were all there and by far way better than other comparable rooms we've stayed in this past week. We had an issue with the sofa mattress. It was done, I mean nothing left inside the tiny mattress to provide any cushion or comfort. We called to get an alternative and due to some weird hotel policy they could not bring us another mattress from another room. Options were limited at this point but Jay the Assistant Manager managed to get us a rollaway from the hotel across the street and saved us from having to pack up and move rooms late at night. These three individuals really made us feel welcomed and went out of their way to do so. A special Gater Growl to my new friend. Corneil. If we come back, we will definitely stay here.

The hotel had been renovated. It looks nice on the surface. However, the AC unit had rust all around it and if you look closer you cam see they put new carpet over the old carpet. That might have been the smell in the room. Upon further look, the paint job was horrible. They didnt even finish. And you could see mold all over the walls and ceiling. The light fixtures had rust on them and hadn't been dusted in who knows how long. The pillows looked like they were cut in half and still put in a queen pillow sham and all the excess sham was stuffed inside with the pillow. The toilet wouldn't stop running. But the lobby was nice.

Clean,but dated needs some TLC. Did not have USB charge ports in room, unplug the room phone when you retire as night auditor is not to bright to call after 10:30 pm if having problem on handling BW gift cards. Luggage carts need solid tires they were almost flat good area restaurants close by recommend as better BW inn.

This was our first stay at this Best Wester North in Tallahassee. This location is simply awesome!!! We would rate it a 100 stars if we could!! The hotel is beautiful, rooms are spotless, the hot breakfasts are delish! The huge wow WOZAH factor kudos goes to this ENTIRE Best Western team..Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, all these team members deserve major recognition for their hard work and dedication!! Each of these team members go above and beyond to make an excellent stay for guests!! We certainly appreciate the staff and give high 5's to each of them!! Don't plan on using your platinum card if it is a newer version without the number printed on it. It will not be accepted. Staff was uncooperative, unfriendly, and unwilling to resolve issue. The wait to check in was lengthy, as no one was around. The employee working clearly would have rather been just about anywhere else.

Best place to stay! We have been staying there for years when we travel and have never been disappointed. The front desk staff has always been pleasant, helpful, and efficient. The day manger is wonderful (Metria) and desk personnel ( Brittany)has started to recognize us from previous stays ( she's awesome , too) and the night person, Jay recognized our name when we called for reservations as they were employed prior to pandemic.We stayed there both going and returning and even had our friends come in and visit with us in the lobby after we had dinner. They were glad to know that their lobby was our living room one evening. Miss Lillie served a delicious breakfast that was homemade and served with her love, best creamiest grits and crispy bacon.

We arrived tired and late on a Friday night for a ball tournament that was starting early the next day. The clerk checking us in (Jay) was GREAT. Very friendly and polite. Jay assured us that if we had to leave before the hot breakfast was ready, we could stop by the desk for some to go muffins, cereal, etc. Fortunately my time zone math was not correct late at night and we did get to enjoy the buffet for breakfast. The selections were plentiful and the food was good. You could smell the bacon before you got to it. The room was super clean and the bed was comfy. The number of linens in the bathroom seemed off but we didn't have a problem. The common areas and parking lot were also well kept.

I booked this hotel through booking.com only to realize an hour later that it was not pet friendly. I called this hotel immediately to cancel this reservation, only to be told that they did not have a reservation in my name and not to worry, I would not be billed. I called them several times after that to once again confirm that I would not be charged since I kept getting emails from booking.com only to be assured that they did not have a reservation in my name and not to worry. A week and a day later, I was billed as a no show. I called to complain and was told I gave them the wrong date when i asked about my reservation, so it wasn't there fault. Regardless of what date this hotel was booked for, you would think they would have made sure to cancel this reservation for me, as I called more than once to confirm this.

I stayed overnight at this hotel and found it to be quite exceptional in all regards! The lobby stunningly beautiful and the person who checked me in was very warm and personable. Even the elevator was upscale, with granite walls and great lighting. The hallway on the 3rd floor was immaculate as was the room. There was a full breakfast (still unusual in some hotels due to COVID) but they did take extreme precautions - you stood behind a row of contacted narrow tables while the breakfast attendant (masked and gloves) dished out what you wanted (there was scrambled eggs (obviously freshly cooked and not thawed out an microwaved, sausage, bacon, and biscuits and sausage gravy - maybe more but that's all I wanted). The attended operated the juice machine also and handed you your cup of juice. On that table that separated you from the hot food side were bread, individually sealed donuts, granola bars, bananas, individually wrapped apples, cereal, and other items. You served yourself coffee. If I ever find myself staying overnight in Tallahassee again, THIS is where I will stay.

Hotel was located in a nice area. There were four restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was very good. The hotel employees were kind and helpful. The room was nicely appointed.

We stayed one night while passing through. We were checked in early by a very nice lady who honored the on-line price. The hotel is clean and modern and all employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, recently updated, and immaculate. Breakfast was limited due to covid but we were able to grab something before setting off. We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

We were traveling with a youth basketball team and had several rooms booked. Metria, the Manager was super helpful in working with us to get the block of rooms reserved. Brittany was on the front desk the evening we checked in and she was very patient working through the numerous people trying to check in at one time. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The hot breakfast was ready at the stated time at the the gentleman serving the breakfast kept everything e=well stocked and worked hard to get everyone served ina timely manner. We had no complaints about our stay and will definitely stay again if ever back in the area.

I was very happy with my accommodations at this Best Western Plus. The room and bed were very clean and comfortable. The only problem I encountered was my room was not ready when I checked in at 3 PM.

My wife and I stayed here along our I-10 trip and this was a great hotel. Angela was great at check in. She gave me a room exactly as I wanted. The room was nice and the amenities in the room were definitely ahead of most other hotels. It was a nice quiet stay that didn't hurt our budget. The hotel is easily accessible from I-10 at Exit 199. We would definitely stay here again

I stayed at this hotel with two of my children for two nights last week. There was a lot to like about the hotel. The location was convenient. There was a complimentary hot breakfast each morning as promised. The dining area and lobby were very nicely decorated. And the room itself was mostly good. The king sized bed was comfortable. However, I paid extra for a room that was said to "sleep four," a "suite" including a king-sized bed and "king-sized" sofa bed. The sofa-bed did not even appear to be queen-sized, let alone "king-sized." When we settled into our room, there was no bedding there for the sofa bed, either ... a very disappointing oversight when a room for three guests is reserved. I was able to get bedding from the lady at the front desk who was very nice. The sofa bed itself had a thin, stained, and worn out mattress that could not possibly sleep an adult (my son is adult sized) with any comfort. So he slept on the sofa itself and was very cramped. Given that I paid extra for this room, the lack of bedding and the condition of the sofa bed mattress is inexcusable. Our room would have been fine for two people, but not for three. And it is unintentionally hilarious that the room is advertised as sleeping four people. Maybe if two of them are small children??

Nice clean and comfortable room and they served a hot breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. This was the first real hotel breakfast I've had in over a year. Would definitely stay here again when traveling through

This hotel was near highway exit which was perfect after driving many miles and exhausted. Staff was great, entrance was clean as was the halls and our room. Very pleased. It was pouring down rain so fortunately there was a restaurant near by. We will stay here again on our way to the beach.

We were fortunate to be greeted by the manager of the hotel and she was definitely customer focused and it was such a pleasurable experience. After a long day of travel, how nice to be greeted by such a friendly and efficient person. The hotel was squeaky clean from the lobby to the elevator to our room. Will always stay here on our future trips!

From the time we walked in the door the lobby was very clean and we were greeted with a smile. The manager on duty was so nice and helpful. My family and i have stayed here 4 times within the last 2 weeks and we love it here. The rooms are very clean and the beds sleep so good. I have to give this place 5-stars.

Stopped by the hotel near the highway exit. Arrived tired and the staff accommodated our request for a room close to the parking space. The coffee in the room was a nice welcoming spot. TV works great

There was very relaxing soft music playing when you walked into the lobby. It could take your BP down several points if needed. Matria checked us in and was so kind. We even asked if we had dinner plans and suggested restaurants within walking distance and offered a coupon. The bed and pillows were sooooo comfortable. We used the exercise room and the tread mill didn't work properly and we could never get the TV to come on. A TV really helps when you're exercising but not a turn off. Barbara was the lady that checked is out and she as well was very nice. Didn't get the lady's name that took care of bkfst but she was professional and the eggs and bacon were cooked just right. Thanks!!!

We had problems with registration and use of our Best Western loyalty points with the hotel from the beginning. We had cleared the use of our points prior to arrival. but on arrival received problems using them. My wife was stuck in the elevator with no assistance when calling. The front desk later said the call rang in from elevator but could not hear. Later said a piece of trim had gotten caught causing the elevator to Jam. After contacting corporate we were allowed to use the loyalty points. The Maid staff, so loud yelling to each other down the hall and allowing each door to slam shut. We aree done with BEST WESTERN AND GOING BACK TO HILTON.

Great stay and affordable. Breakfast was also included (bacon, eggs, potatoes, pancakes). The staff was helpful and the rooms were nice and clean, love the comfortable towels and bedding. Soap and lotions, yes! : )

We loved the night we spent in this hotel. We chose this hotel because when we called to check availability the front desk person was so nice and friendly. She was the same way when we checked in. You just can't beat the staff, amenities, and beauty of this hotel. It's worth every penny - and it's already very reasonably priced. The beds are unbelievably comfortable. The towels are of superb quality, too. It's the best Best Western Plus we've ever stayed in.

We stayed there for an overnight in route on our vacation. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was included and was served by a lovely kind woman. Food was very good. Front desk staff. Front Desk staff were very courteous and friendly. Covid precautions were in effect throughout the hotel.

I was at the hotel with my aunt. And a family matter occurred and Jay the agent who was working at the front desk handled the situation very well. Not only is he professional.. but very wise and kind and we need more people like him working in hospitality.. because he showed every bit hospitality. Also the following night the other agent Sara was also kind and helpful. And the Gm is absolutely wonderful as well. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable and the location is great.. Best Western on north monroe is a wonderful hotel and I would definitely recommend it.

The Hotel Accommodations were excellent. We had driven from Key West and needed a good nights rest. We got that and a nice breakfast. The Hotel was located for easy off easy on for I-10, got an early start the next day!!! Diver Dan O

Moved daughter to FSU, stressful drive, got lost a few times. Long day. Metria (hope I spelled that right) was there at check in with a warm smile and easy check in. The hotel is right off of Monroe street and I-10 close to all of your needs and tons of restaurants! The hotel is older but re decorated and very very clean. Breakfast is included, was very nice. Pool older but clean and very nice. Rooms spacious, pretty and spotless. The staff had every precaution in place for the COVID problem. Spotless, sanitized!! we felt safe and welcome at the same time. Metria needs to be cloned and be the gold standard of how all check-ins should be!!! thank you for a lovely stay, will definitely be back!!

Davontae was incredible and did everything he could for us! We told him my husband was a disabled veteran and he found a great room at a great rate that would accommodate us! We will be back very soon!

Let me start by saying the front desk folks (the only interaction we had) were SUPER great. Now that out of the way, the room we were given #131 was pretty awful. The bathroom light fixture was solid rust, the lamp shade by the side of my bed was broken in several places and the only chair in the room was “peeling” it's cover (and yes I took photos). We could have stayed at another BW for $59.00 & chose to go to the Plus for better amenities what a waste of money. Should have slept at a motel 6! Don't stay here! It is NOT remodeled! Again - I have pictures!

Stayed one night June 8. Very comfortable bed. Room very nice, quiet. Morning front desk lady was very very professional and yet very charming, engaged in a light but very pleasant discussion of current events. She was a great representation of our great country. Again, the room was very nice, very affordable and would highly recommend.

My husband and I traveled from Illinois to Panacea Florida. We arrived at the Tallahassee Fl Best Western around 9:25. Delvante the front desk clerk greeted us with a smile. He listened to us and was so courteous to our needs. He made the 25 minute drive back up north worth checking in. The bed was comfortable and we slept great!!

Only stayed for one night. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well cared for. This hotel was close to the highway and there were several restaurants in the area to chose from. After my disappointing stay in a Best Western in Walker LA the night before this was a pleasant surprise.

After a week of traveling around Florida, staying at different hotels throughout the state, we were all a little homesick. But when we got to the Best Western Plus in Tallahassee, they boosted our spirits with warm cookies and popcorn. The staff was so friendly and encouraged my sons to take as many cookies as they wanted. Breakfast was pleasant and they provided additional snack foods that improved morale on the long drive back home. We couldn't have had a better hotel to wrap up our trip!

Front Desk Staff was friendly, informative and accommodating. Parking was available close to the building. Our room was very clean and we had no issues. Breakfast was good with plenty of options, but numerous tables were in need of cleaning at the time we were there on a busy Friday morning. Overall, this was a restful stay while traveling.

This hotel is well appointed and comfortable with a friendly, professional staff. My only complaint was the noise level. I could hear the people in the adjacent room speaking at a normal volume. This was very annoying after a long day of travel. I can't even imagine what it would have been like if a loud couple with children had been in the adjacent room! Or even people watching TV all night!

We had to travel to Tallahassee for a Dr's appointment and we decided to go over the night before. We arrived around 10:30pm and Devante was at the frontdesk he was one of the most pleasurable person to see. He was so friendly, courteous and knowledgeable agent ever. The room was very clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Thank you for making our trip worth it. We will be back for sure and reccomend to anyone coming to the area.

Visited our college student for parents weekend. This will be our fourth time staying here. We had a great stay, with no issues or problems. The breakfast both mornings were delicious and enjoyable. We definitely recommend this hotel and will be back again.

We arrived at 2:20 A.M. at this lovely hotel and were very grateful to have such a nice play to stay as we were exhausted upon arrival. We were welcomed by a delightful young woman who was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delightful with many choices. We found it very clean and comfortable. As we are elderly a handicapped room was very useful. We will definitely plan to return to this hotel in the future and we highly recommend it to others.

Spent one night here on a business trip. Comfortable bed, room was in good clean condition. Pillows were small but still comfy. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was more extensive than the average free breakfast offerings at other hotel chains. The scrambled egg was cold and the casing on the sausage was not up to snuff. Everything else breakfast wise was on point. Would I return? Yes

The chair and couch were comfortable but the covering on them is peeling off and that is simply off putting. The rooms need to dusted a bit more a good amount of dust was present in the room I stayed.

Excellent stay at nice best western plus. Quiet even though there was a large group in the hotel. The breakfast staff kept the trays of free hot breakfast food filled even with a large group chowing down.

This hotel was well reviewed on Trip Advisor, so that combined with a good price made this an obvious stop on a road trip through Tallahassee. The hotel was obviously older, but had been nicely refurbished. The reception and check in was a very positive experience, and the clerk - Davontae - couldn't seem to do enough for us, including still warm fresh baked cookies. The room was spacious, nicely appointed and very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and it was very quiet despite the proximity to the highway. Breakfast was very good, with lots of variety and good coffee. I would definitely recommend stopping here as you travel along through Tallahassee.

This Best Western was over priced for a Best Western. I had booked another Best Western in Alabama for $84. The hotel was a little tired looking. One bench in breakfast room was badly worn and should have been replaced. The arm chair in my room should have been replaced. The breakfast was excellent. It had an attendant available at all times. The food was hot and plentiful.

Overall great service, Davontae offered the best customer experience I've ever had at a hotel. Very clean hotel, breakfast was much greater than I expected. It's been a while since I been a o a hotel with such great service. I can't stop raving about the service I receive from Davontae. It was excellent.

Place is clean nice but you can forget about sleeping if you are here for business. If you are part of a group with 4 guests per room and do not care about sleeping then you are Golden. During my first night everything was great because the large group wasn't here. second night they book a large group of teens and chaperones and they you can hear everything through the door. Try to call front desk and no one answers. In the morning when I went to eat breakfast around 6:40 Am the second night. I was surprised that all of the lights were out when the sign clearly said Monday -Friday breakfast at 6:00 AM. Like I stated before I am here for business and need to grab something and go on about my day. She then went ahead and turn the lights out and proceed to tell me that breakfast was at 7:00 and regular guests needed to go across the street. I ignored her and kept eating but def ruined my start of my day. I am checking out tomorrow..

Second time we've stayed at the BWP Tallahassee North hotel. The lady at the reception desk was just too delightful for words and made us feel as though we were family who had just returned home from a lengthy and tiring trip. The PERFECT employee any organization should have as their window to the company. Can't recall her name, but you'll be able to identify her from your records. I just wanted to note that my stay was absolutely phenomenal. The guy at the front desk made sure to inform me on the hotels whereabouts. He went above and beyond to ensure my stay was the greatest. The rooms were extremely clean and the breakfast was great! Would give 10 stars if I could!

Stayed here on our way to Disney. Nice clean, new looking hotel. Friendly staff. Cookies at check in, USA Today, Free WIFI. Close to I-10. Quiet rooms. Parking right outside our window. Area felt safe. Restaurants near by. Breakfast buffet was great. The usuals. Waffle bar, cereal, fresh fruit, bagels, biscuits and gravy, muffins, milk, juice, coffee, tea, yogurt, eggs, bacon, cheese, turkey sausage. Breakfast staff kept everything clean and stocked. The only downside was that there was not enough seating when we went down to eat. At the time I didn't realize you could eat in the conference room which would probably seat 20? They also offered a table of to go water bottles and breakfast snacks, granola bars, etc. I got the feeling they really bent over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. Didn't use the pool or workout room, or business services.

It's pretty common in 2 star properties to see a veneer of newness shrouding an old property. Typical sight is a 30 year old bathtub that they didn't want to spend a lot of money replacing. Best Western (or the franchisee) did a nice job with the general decor. We stayed here a couple of weeks ago (driving across country; on the way back) and noticed the chairs were a bit beat up. Back tonight: not only are the chairs decrepit, when I grabbed a towel after my shower, the rack fell down. If it'd hit landed in the toilet, it'd still be there. The dings in the cheap metal brackets suggest it's not the first time it's happened. On the plus side, the common areas are quite attractive, and the breakfast is above-average for this class of property.

This establishment is easy and close proximity to I-10. Many noticeable amenities even in the lobby area of hotel. Fruit infused water, bottled water tray and prepackaged granola bars. Asst Mgr made evening checkin a pleasant experience. Chrissy gave me body lotion sample in morning while enjoying my morning coffee in the lobby so I didn't have to trek back to the room to retrieve. Little things like that make me appreciate our stay. Breakfast items were kept full by attentive hard worker. She was very gracious when tipped in private. Hubby liked the firm mattress but my back did not do well by morning. Room amenities, full length mirror (also noticeable in the women's lobby restroom) we enjoyed the quiet location of the room. Clean room, larger than avg rm frig. Downsides: We didn't sit or use either the corner chair or desk chair because both were torn and we didn't want to make it worse. The other downside was the heavy room deodorizer. I could not sleep for awhile bc it was pretty overpowering.

Breakfast bar was nice. Friendly staff. Good selections, very nice stop for a family. Loved the bottled water at breakfast! Soap and shampoo have a nice citrus fragrance. Little refrigerator in room was nice.

I made my reservation on line, there usually are issues I was suprised, checked in was quick the lobby is very nice with water and cookies in the hall when we went to the elevators, our room was nice and very clean the staff is so nice from check in personal, to cleaning staff and the breakfast person runs a tight ship, the area was clean and the food was set up beautifully with better breakfast then what we had at Cracker Barrel the morning before a great experience, Thanks

We stayed at this hotel while traveling to south Florida. Easy to get to from the interstate. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was awesome - always love when hotels have waffles! Staff was polite. Would definitely stay here again!

Not a good version of Best Western Plus hotel. My family and I stayed at this hotel during our family vacation and I wasn't satisfied with this place. The beds were very uncomfortable, when taking a shower the water would drainvery slowly causing you to stand in your own water, went to eat breakfast and there was limited seating for families causing people to eat in the lobby. What was very aggravating was the worker who serves breakfast, this lady was very rude and lacked courtesy for paying guest. Breakfast was from 6am til 9am, by 830am there was barely any breakfast restocked, bacon was empty, waffle mix was low. When I asked for bacon, she replied that she was low on bacon and left to comeback with a pan full of bacon. I didn't understand why she was reluctant to restock the breakfast counters with food. At about 845am, she started turning the food warmers off, took away what was left of the waffle mix, never refilled the pastries, didn't consider anyones demands. One customer asked about certain foods that was gone and she said we close at 9am, and he repiled back asking why are you taking everything down if its 845am then. She had no answer as she walked off. Please consider a different hotel than this one, people have been giving it 4 or 5 stars, this place deserves a true 2 or maybe a 3. Old hotel with some new updates but bad customer service by their food worker equals a low quality hotel. I can deal with old buildings, but not crappy customer service.

This hotel was a big dissappointment. The room was not clean, it had stain all over the pillow. The room had a bad odor. Jay the rep was very rude and hung up on me. The breakfast was not well cooked.

Stayed, here, with a prepaid, 2 night, non-refundable reservation. Hotel is very nice and convenient to I-10. The room was nice and the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Only complaint was the temperature of the food - lukewarm, However, there is a microwave to warm things up. The next morning, we left the room at 10:30am. (Housekeeping was servicing the adjoining room.) We returned at 8 pm to find the room exactly as we had left it. Bed unmade, and used towels right where we'd left them. Immediately, went down to the front desk and explained the problem.. The night manager was “really sorry”, but said there was “nothing” he could do. He did send towels up, but...not really satisfactory. There are places that offer ‘lower' pricing, for no housekeeping and I think the least the Best Western could have done was adjust our rate.Very poor customer service and will not stay here, again.

The best experience ever. Thank you all so very much for making us feel at home. We had been traveling for a while and were very tired the bed was so comfortable and the shower felt great. I did not hear the other guest like you do at some hotels and if I'm ever in Tallahassee and need a hotel I will choose this one also if anyone ask me about a hotel in Tallahassee I will recommend this one

Jay was instrumental to a great stay. She was very helpful with accommodating my early arrival and was great with recommendations on where to buy shoes for my meeting. After driving over 400 miles come to find out I left my shoes and she was very prompt in recommending where to go and how get there in time for my meeting.

Needed a stop over on my way to Central Florida. I am a frequent guest at Best Western Plus hotels. Guest services gal was terrific in finding me a place to try a crafted beer. Gave directions with a smile and fresh cookies are always a plus. Breakfast is just so-so.

This is our place to stay on our way to visit friends in Carolinas going and returning. It has friendly and helps desk clerks. The breakfast is hot and plentiful. The rooms are clean and spacious and I like the bathroom amenities.

Great hotel, new. no painted over tubs or broken fitting. Clean carpet, nice beds and linen/towels. Just try not to get a room next to the elevator. Breakfast last from six am to nine am. the only drawback was one waffle maker, which held the line up if you want a waffle.

Wonderful! Close to the Interstate, very clean, exceptionally friendly desk clerk, nearby places to eat, including a very short walk to Burger King or Waffle House. The beds were comfy and the AC worked great. Chocolate chip cookies (still warm) were available at the front that evening! The breakfast was fantastic with the best bacon ever! Pretty decor and nicely updated! Would stay here again if ever passing through! Perfect!

We were in Tallahassee for a meeting and decided to stay a couple extra days. This place is conveniently located and clean. The first morning there was no coffee in the morning because of a water problem. Why couldn't they buy a few gallons of bottled water from a nearby grocery. The next morning no eggs or gravy for breakfast because the truck didn't make a delivery. What prevents the management from going to that grocery for a few dozen eggs. Complete lack of imagination and poor service for clients.

Our stay was perfect. Our room was ready, clean and appropriately appointed. Each bed had an assortment of pillows, fast internet and plenty of power outlets for our devices. The movie channel was easy to navigate and had many recent release movies available. The complimentary breakfast was very good and plentiful. They also had grab-n-go selections available too.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was professional and courteous. The selection of items at the breakfast buffet was more than adequate. The property is less than 1 minute from the Interstate which was very convenient for me. The only improvement I would recommend is to get full size pillows for the bed.

Hotel was clean, felt very safe and the decor was nice. Staff super friendly and it was just a great experience. So much more than expected especially so close to the interstate. No extra charges for parking or any hidden hotel expenses. We will return and become regular guests when traveling to Tallahassee.

Hotel was nicely decorated, quiet, and amazingly clean. Walked around in white socks and they stayed white. Would stay here again. We were here to check out the collage and were very surprised at how quiet the hotel was because it was home coming weekend

The room was very nice and clean. The lady that checked us in at the front desk was very nice and also the lady taking care of the breakfast in the morning was very nice! The breakfast was very good, with several options available, hot and cold! No problems at all! Will definitely stay here again!

We had a reservation thank goodness as it was pouring! What a clean and new BW. Everything was amazing. It is also close to an amazing place to eat so we didn't have to go far in the rain. We will stay here again.

Worth the money for your stay in Tallahassee,Fl.The staff is very friendly and helpful should you have any concerns or problems with your room while your staying with them. The breakfast alone is worth the stay

Always stay here when in Talley. Always clean and good service. Good value for the price. Close to highway. Not too far from FSU. Stayed here on several occassions over the past four years and always good service.

Beds were comfortable. Pillows a little small. Breakfast was really good. Lily kept the tables and food area clean. She makes the coffee fresh and delicious and she's very friendly! Check-in and parking easy and convenient.

During my stay noticed not a lot, but more than normal layer of dust on the table light fixture, two spider nets in the bathroom. I did not run a cleanliness inspection, just noticed something flashy. Definitely will not reserve another stay.

Very impressed with the young lady at the front desk for evening check-in. Efficient and engaging as she took care of me. Room was comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced. Lots of food options close-by, as well as a Wal-Mart. I would stay here again.

The hotel was nice inside and out and the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful with dining suggestions for nearby restuarants. The only downside to our stay was leaving a backpack behind with 2 pair of binoculars and other personal items that housekeeping didn't turn in to lost and found. So be sure to double/triple check your room when checking out; your items will not be returned to you.

Nice hotel, we were pleased. Great buffet breakfast with bacon. Very clean, nice looking room. I would have liked a bathtub but a shower was fine. The bed was very comfortable and I believe the sofa could have been a sofa sleeper, we didn't need it but nice to know.

We stopped here for a quick one night stay. The room was super clean and comfortable, just what we needed for a good night's rest. The shower was very spacious. There was a tea and coffee station in the lobby area. The breakfast was ok. Overall, great value for money and would stay again.

Had a great rate pop up through a tripadvisor notification so decided to give the Best Western Plus Tallahassee North a chance for FSU parents weekend. Turned out to be a very good choice and would definitely stay there again. About a 4 mile drive to FSU campus but it's a straight drive down US 27 and takes no time.

We spent two nights here, when we were in town for a family funeral. On the up side, the staff is lovely—warm, professional, and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. On the down side, the lighting in the bathroom and shower is inadequate, and there is no fan. I was sleeping on the sofa bed, and there was nowhere nearby to plug in my phone. The remote was hard to figure out. Breakfast was OK, but there were few healthy hot options. The worst part was paying double the normal rate because it was a TSU football weekend. I'd have been happy at $125, but it's not worth $250. That said, it's better than many chain hotels.

The fabric on the chair in the room was torn up. The toilet ran all three days we were there. The sink drain was clogged and water was stagnant in it. The toilet rim was dark brown and smelled really bad. Didn't report because I was there for FSU Family weekend and didn't want to waste my family time on it. The room was in poor condition for the exceptionally high $300/night rate I paid.

Excellent hotel. This is one of the nicest Best Westerns we have stayed at. Rooms were spotless and even though there were about 30 people checking in the gentleman at the guest never once was flustered. Excellent breakfast, excellent rooms

Great hotel with caring staff...easy to get to from freeway...plenty of dining in the area...and the rooms are great...can't go wrong...we've stayed here multiple times and when in the area, this is where we go...so should you.

The front desk guy in the pm was not friendly upon check-in. He did not offer any info and gave very curt answers with any questions. The room was nicely decorated, comfortably cool and the beds and pillows were very comfortable offering a great night sleep. We requested the back side of hotel as the front was on a busy road and it was very quiet. The am staff was very nice and friendly and the breakfast offered quite a few options including some gluten free. I even had organic vanilla soy milk. The only suggestion is a crock of oatmeal instead of instant in the microwave, although the instant was Irish oatmeal and delicious. We usually stay at Hampton, but for the lower price, this Best Western Plus was in the same league! I would recommend this hotel.

Very impressed with this property. Clean, quiet rooms, comfortable with space to spare. Very easy access to all that Tallahassee has to offer. Was originally concerned when address read North Tallahassee--thought we might have a long commute home from our daily adventures, but was pleasantly surprised...I think the longest trip was just over 15mins. Will definitely stay at this property again on future trips to the area.

This was a great hotel. Clean, comfortable, and located well. The pillows are a little soft but the breakfast was excellent!!! Also staff was great for anything you needed. We were there for 3 nights and 4 days. Also it was located in a good spot for a football weekend.

Let me first say that we stayed at a three star resort the night before we stayed here. The resort could learn a lot from the staff and management at this Best Western. At the Best Western, all three of the front desk staff as well as the breakfast attendant were all really warm and welcoming, providing all the info we needed without us having to ask. The room was immaculate and the amenities were better than expected. I slept better than I had in a while on their comfortable beds. Water pressure and hot water were perfect for a nice shower. The location was really convenient and the breakfast was terrific. The parking was also well-lit and felt safe. I would choose this hotel over a resort every day.

Came to drop our son for FSU which is about 10 mins from campus. Clean rooms, no odors, friendly staff, Waffle House next door, right off main highway. My only issue is that it's a horrible spot for Internet and even their wifi isn't strong. If that's not a concern then I would recommend

Very accessible from/to highway. Clean, excellent service, great breakfast with plenty of choices of hot and cold items. Family was traveling to the Caverns in Marianna, but wanted to spend some time in Tallahassee as well. It was the perfect hotel choice!

Did not deduct $20 gift card from bill - on check-out was told it would be credited to my credit card - it has not been - this is second time at same hotel with same problem - make sure that you check your bill closely -

Everything was good except the noise from the doors all slamming shut. Theres no thresholds under the doors so it makes all rooms very noisy. We were by the side entrance and that door was extremely loud.

The hotel is clean and bright, with an excellent staff. Although I brought a large group (60), they were quickly checked in. The location is good for area restaurants and sights. Additionally, the price was really good.

In town for a quick trip. Fantastic stay here. Clean rooms and halls, quiet, and the breakfast was outstanding. Saturday July 20, I didn't get her name, but the lady cooking breakfast was the hardest working person I have seen in a while. And it wasn't reheated, prepacked junk. It tasted like a good, warm breakfast. And the free coffee was always full, and hot. The staff at checkout and check-in were friendly and on the job. Tallahassee is not a normal destination for me, but I will stay here again if I return.

Arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night with no booking. Gentleman on desk was very helpful. Walls are thin between adjoining rooms, that is the only complaint. Didn't have chance to try breakfast. Ample parking. Place is immaculate, staff lovely, would highly recommend.

Stayed one night here in the Best Western. Comfy hotel just off the motorway, with easy access to the city. Our receptionist, Andre, was very welcoming and friendly on check in. Rooms were a good size and breakfast was tasty in the morning.

We had a two night stay here. Room was clean and comfortable with a large bathroom and walk in shower. Really nice pool area. Breakfast had a decent choice although some yoghurts would have been a welcome addition (unless I just missed them!) Staff were all friendly. Location of hotel is good with plenty of easy food options nearby.

Front desk worker was extremely rude, as were everyone at the motel I emcountered The breakfast was okay, but I have never had to wait for hotel staff to finish making them a plate before guest could serve themselves.

We were staying 15 people in the hotel. Took 5 rooms. The people there were very friendly and service oriented and they accommodated almost every request. The only cons - the hotel is a little let go with torn sofas and stains on the seat covers and there are no beds suited for tiny humans. My husband had to sleep separately with my son so he won't fall from the queen bed and I slept on the other. But overall it is a good hotel and great for a night or two.

We chose it based on its rating. We weren't disappointed. We'll stay here again. Two nights @ $265. Great location. If value is important to you, this is a great choice. Everything was clean and comfortable.

We were traveling from Texas to Florida and stopped here for one night. We had no reservation and front desk was so nice and even helped me look up loyalty number to get credit. Had delicious full hot breakfast with real bacon and the biscuits and gravey were just like you would cook at home. They have my business from now on.

Best Western Plus saved our FSU orientation/move in stay. We had originally booked a location a couple of building over but it was SO humid the sheets were damp and the smell was a strong musty smell. We drove over and asked about availability. The clerk let us see the room before hand. It cost almost double what i had previously booked on a discount site but well worth it. Room was cool, bathroom well appointed and beds comfy. the wifi was a little in and out sometimes but nothing to bring up to management. i had a minor issue with the vending machine stealing my money for smartwater. While the clerk at the noted that the machine vendor would not be back until the following week, she offered to give me a replacement water. The HOT breakfast was most appreciated!!

This hotel offers a wonderful breakfast, Bed is very comfortable and the pillows the best. Nice touch of reading lights on above beds. Very quiet even close to the highway. Friendly staff willing to go out of their way for you. Will stay here again if ever in the area.

No WiFi and no signal for tv. Only one front desk person who won't answer phone. Unable to fix WiFi and refused to help. Rude rude. Treated me like she didn't care and said take it up with the manager tomorrow. Believe me I will. Avoid this renovated hotel.

Our stay was awesome. I give this hotel 5 stars!! Extremely courtesy customer service at front desk. Ricoya was welcoming and helpful with recommendations for dinner. She also made sure we received extra towels as requested. We will be back soon!

Check in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was neat and tidy, but the floors were dirty. My kids were walking around with out shoes on and by the end of the night, their feet were black.

This Hotel is very nice, very clean, very comfortable. Our bed was amazing! The free breakfast is basically all inclusive and something for everyone, however they ran out of eggs early the first day, something about waiting for a delivery. One of the afternoons we were there there was fresh baked cookies in the lobby. We did not utilize the pool, one afternoon we thought about it and when we went to check it out a bunch of workers or maintenance people not in swimsuits were hanging out there, so we chose not to. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again and would recommend. Easy interstate access to all attractions in the area.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I was sad that I only was there for one night. Great staff and will be my go to hotel when I am in the area again. The area was right near the interstate which made it easy to access.

Clean!! Comfortable beds. Good working ac and quiet at night . Free breakfast in morning had an array of breakfast options, not just your standard cereal and toast. Staff was friendly . The price was right . We only stayed one night as we were passing through , but definitely a good value for one night stay .

I got a AAA discount here and because of its excellent reviews thus far on TripAdvisor, I thought it would be a good stopover on a road trip. Thanks to all the reviewers who suggested it, because it was the perfect respite. The room was a good size and very clean, but most remarkable was the breakfast spread included in the price. The hot food included biscuits and gravy, fixings for breakfast burritos, and the cold bar included yogurt and a variety of cereals - the whole family was content! If I happen to be through Tallahassee in the future, I will keep this place in mind!

The hotel and room had tasteful decor and was very clean. The housekeeping service should be commended! Hotel staff were all very pleasant. Breakfast selection was great and very tasty. Would highly recommend!

This Best Western is always clean and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. But, the best part is the breakfast prepared by Lilly. You feel like she has prepared breakfast especially for her guests. And, that is saying a lot for a "breakfast included meal" at most travel hotels.

We were in Tally for graduation on June 1st. We didn't have the DND sign on the door from 9-12:30 and returned to a dirty room. No problem as we saw the cleaning carts down the hall when we left around 1pm (again, no DND sign was on our door - it was on the bathroom counter instead). We arrived back around 5 to a dirty room, again, and no sign of the cleaning crew. My husband went and got the towels we needed for that night, as we weren't interested in people being in our room at that time. No one my husband encountered to get towels seemed too concerned that no one bothered to clean the room. The airbnb we usually stay at in Tally was booked or we would have not needed a hotel. Even if it's booked again during a visit, we won't be back to this hotel due to the cleaning issue. Aside from the cleaning issue, the halls and elevator were so warm it seemed like the heat was running (at least on the third floor). Not sure what was going on, but it was miserably hot. Room a/c worked great, but was very loud like most window units in similar budget hotels. The most positive thing I can say is the room was clean, but due to the skipped cleaning during the stay, we didn't leave the cleaning staff a tip like we normally do.

Stayed here one night and basically it is a basic B and B , bed and complimentary breakfast. Didn't really have a good nights sleep due to noisy air con ( much needed ) noisy fridge and doors banging throughout the night. Facilities that were available were ok but lack of a bar was a let down. There are restaurants and fast food places near by and just up the road is a Walmart so you could get a case of beer etc. It's definitely not a tourist hotel but a one night travelling salesman/workmen stopover.

The location was the first plus on this site. The room was clean and had all the amenities one would need to enjoy their stay. Common areas were clean and comfortable. Hallways on the above floors were a little warm and could have been cooler. Breakfast did not meet standard...ran out of eggs, bacon, and sausage a half hour before closing and no more was added. Sometimes one of the criteria for selecting a hotel is having breakfast available so one doesn't have to go out looking...especially with family. If they are able to correct this problem, it would go a long way to our return.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and, since I ALWAYS read the reviews before booking, I decided to return again. Allie, the Front Desk employee, provided excellent customer service, with a sincere smile, upon check-in. The room looked and smelled clean, the bed and pillows were comfy, and the blackout curtain was great. The bathroom floors and sink area were nice, there's a full length mirror on the closet door, and there is also a microwave and mini fridge. The A/C was pretty good. We set it at 69 and the room was kept cool till about 2 AM. At that time, I had to drop it down to 66. We needed a couple of bottled waters and we were planning to purchase them, but another pleasant Front Desk employee said they were FREE! They provide free hot breakfast, but we didn't partake this time. Also, they offer express check-out, just leave your keys in your room and leave by 11 AM, super convenient! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

Fabulous hotel, best we've had on this trip. Nice pool and patio, beautiful room, really comfortable. It's right off the highway so convenient but dont hear traffic noise. I definitely would come back.

Stayed here for one night on my way to Florida to visit family. Senior woman traveling alone. It was a perfect place to stop. It was clean, modern and very comfortable. Totally felt safe traveling without the hubby. Nice pool area. Was able to walk to get some dinner. Had a nice breakfast before I left in the morning. Would stop here again in a heartbeat!! Thanks for the great stay!!

With all the updates, this hotel will over exceed your expectations. Everytime I visit Tallahassee I check to see if they have availability because I know the high quality and standard of amenities here.

First, the hotel was comfortable...the beds were nice and it was clean...Mainly my concern was with the staff. Vacation is to be relaxing not tense. There was spoiled milk served at breakfast, which I realize can happen to any worker having a rough day...however making it right was not on the radar...My checkout time was confirmed at a certain time and still I got knocks on my door and a phone call of when I was leaving, when I confronted them about it again it was me 'being unreasonable' My last request was this... I was asked to contact the manager about my concerns, I then left my name and number with a message, that if she is concerned about 'smoothing things over' then she can call me when she gets in...that phone call has never come... I'm sure you might go to this hotel and things would be fine, but just if you do go and there is any conflict, do not thinking anyone is going to try to make your life easier!

We were in Tallahassee to attend FSU baseball games and the hotel met our needs perfectly. Check in was efficient, room was spacious with fridge and microwave, and there were enough bath towels. We loved the breakfast & seating with lots of choices. At the end of the day, it was so nice to have dinner at Wahoo Seafood Grill, which is within walking distance. On our last morning we hopped on I-10 and headed home - after one more great breakfast. Also, hotel seemed clean and safe.

We stayed at this hotel both going and coming from a trip to Vero Beach, Florida. Our 1st visit was very pleasant as was our 2nd on the return, the only difference being that our return was $50 cheaper than the 1st visit. That was great! ;-) The king room is pretty standard fare as hotels go, and for an older hotel it is very clean and well maintained. You will sleep well in this room. The mattress is more firm than not, which is what I like. Breakfast is good; scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffle maker, yogurt and fresh fruit. I noticed when the eggs were about gone, more were brought in. In another hotel chain, it was a case of "once it's gone, it's gone". Staff is friendly and very helpful. I would stay at this hotel again at the $125 or there abouts rate, not at $175 or higher.

Room was clean and the people were very nice. The Free Hot breakfast was very good. Actually it is the best that i have had a a hotel. Very fresh and taste good. I was on the first floor and surprising it was pretty quiet. I will definitely return to this hotel when i return to Tallahassee in the future.

This is a very nice hotel with the basic amenities expected for a mid priced stay. However, I would never pay more than 130 per night to stay. It was very clean, pretty decor, nice breakfast, etc., but with tax our stay was 212 and it just wasn't quite high enough quality for that cost.

The place is exactly what you see in the pictures. Room is clean and spacious. Customer service was friendly and accommodating. I drove up a little earlier and i called to see if we could check in before 3pm. The clerk accommodated me and when i arrived remembered my name. Perfect for a night stay!

Hotel was very nice and accommodating. Friend,y staff. Everything was clean. Felt safe here. Breakfast offered the typical fare for what it is. Waffle House is next door for those wanting a more varied menu. WiFi was free and the WiFi speed was good. Beds were comfortable. This is our new “go to” hotel when going to/from Orlando. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Pleasant greeting upon arrival. Room Was nice. Asked the desk clerk for dinning suggestions. Recommended a restaurant within walking distance. Was an excellent choice. The shrimp were the best I had in 3 week while in FL. Would stay again if in the area.

The front desk concierge was VERY helpful. Thankful for kind people when we are traveling with 3 kids under 6–she turned lights on and got us plates/napkins when our pizza arrived (late evening supper=chaotic with 3 littles on a 16 hour drive). The morning desk was unable to answer questions, but still kind. Rooms were tidy and comfortable. Highly likely we will try this place again.

This appears to be a better than average Best Western, hence the "Plus." Years ago, the name Best Western to us meant it was a cut above Days Inn and Red Roof. However quite a while back, we began to see a pattern of decline. It appeared that the company was reduced to taking over old hotels (Days Inns and family motels) which were run-down, and just re-christened them as a Best Western with little, if any, renovation. Learning that the hard way, our opinion of the brand name dropped significantly, and we avoided all Best Westerns. Unfortunately, this time we were in a jam, and crossed our fingers. It was very late when we checked in, hence ready to go to bed. When we got into bed, there was a high-powered parking lot light glaring into our window. As experienced travelers, we carry clothes pins to pull the drapery together should we need them for occasions such as this, however management should consider having the lights adjusted so the light bulbs are recessed and directed straight down. That way there would be less light “seepage” off the sides, and lighting would be directed at only the area it is intended. THERE WERE QUITE A FEW REVIEWS THAT MENTIONED THE PILLOWS BEING SMALL. I never have had what I considered “small” bed pillows, and chose to overlook that comment… that is, until I went to bed. These were about the size of throw pillows (approx. 18” square with a normal size pillow case folded around it). They couldn't be propped up to sit in bed, and it was near impossible to get them in any position that was comfortable to sleep on. Because of that, I had a fitful night of pseudo-sleep constantly waking up to readjust them. Perhaps the small size of the pillow makes it less likely that the pillows will be stolen, but if management themselves slept just ONE NIGHT in one of these rooms, they would see what a ridiculous expectation it is for these to be considered bed pillows. On that point alone, I would not recommend this hotel. (They would also note that while a lit light switch is nice by the room's entrance, it would make more sense to put a lit switch in the bathroom… it would take an electrician only a minute to reverse them to a more usable relocation.) The TV in the room had a generic remote that looked like it was made of antimicrobial material; nice touch but the Close Caption button didn't work, making the TV useless to me. (Because it was extremely late, and I didn't want get dressed and go down three floors on the chance I MIGHT get a replacement, I just turned the TV off and tried to read with the uncomfortable pillows.) As we were only staying one night, out of consideration for the next guest, I brought the remote down to the desk clerk. Without apology, gratefulness, or barely looking up, he just took it... I had little hope it would be noted, checked and rectified. In the breakfast area, there was a serious lack of seating, yet right next door there was a large wasted area of lobby furniture. A complimentary breakfast means nothing if there is nowhere to sit to eat it. The bacon serving bin was empty when we arrived, I asked the man at the front desk (who didn't seem interested in the remote control issue) and he was equally as dismissive: "There'll be more coming." By time we finished eating, the bacon still had not come out. No surprise there. “Your last impressions, are the impressions that last.” I have tried to make constructive criticism, and offer suggestions for improvement, but I am not hopeful that things will change with this place. Maybe adding the word “PLUS” is just a new Best Western ruse… it worked on me this time, but I will re-consider all Best Westerns in the future.

Charity at the front desk was energetic and enthusiastic! The room was clean, and I mean CLEAN! I travel for business frequently and this was the best experience the entire month of February! Reasonably priced, convenient to I-10, Friendly staff, and CLEAN!

Super short overnight stay on our way from Gulf Shores to Orlando. Very convenient location off of the highway. Front desk staff was super friendly. Room was clean & well appointed. Lots of plugs which was great to recharge all our electronics. Only disappointing thing was breakfast (May have been our fault as we got down at 8 & breakfast runs from 6-9) but almost all the food was gone. There were no eggs, almost all the sausage was gone but we did snag a few pieces. My daughter said the cinnamon waffles were delicious. All in all a very good convenient stay

In the past 12 months we have done a lot of travelling most of the motels have been Best Western or Hilton and I can not complain at all about service quality or value for money where we stayed in Tallahassee was convient to highway,restaurant and the staff were great, and the breakfast was also good.

I stayed here one night on a business trip to the Capitol area. The front desk staff, from beginning to end, were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a loud ac that would kick on and drown out the TV for a few minutes, but it did its job and actually helped me to sleep. The breakfast buffet was really good, with hot scrambled eggs and bacon, and biscuits with real sausage gravy, in addition to the usual items. None of those tasted typical for a hotel as they were all delicious. The hotel is near many restaurant choices, and it took about 15 minutes in morning traffic to get to the Capitol area.

Awesome location - near everything. The rooms were very clean. The Staff was so nice and helpful. The breakfast exceeded expectations. I would stay here again if I ever happen to be in Tallahassee again.

Stayed again at the Best Western and the rooms and staff were just as good as the last time. they also were nice enough to suggest the Wahoo restaurant near the hotel and offer us a card for a discount. it was great too! thanks again...

As I said in my last review, ask for a room on the second or third floor away from the door. This time we asked and got a better room. Good breakfast too, for the price. We would stay again, and have already three times. My only complaint is the smell of bacon wafting up to our room in the morning. Don't get me wrong, I like bacon, but it's a little much at 6:30 before you're fully awake.

Passing through Tallahassee, we stayed at this Best Western Plus and were not disappointed. The hotel was very clean and modern with a great service staff. The front desk was very efficient and there were several restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived Saturday night and were greeted by Andre. He was helping another guest and from the start we could tell he was very attentive. We discovered that both me and my friend had made reservations for the wrong date (we booked it through a third party site). Andre was so polite about it! He helped us get into a room for the night. The whole time he apologized (even though it was our mess up) and was so friendly about the change! He made sure we were all situated and I never felt like he was rushing us. I normally never write reviews, but as someone who does management I felt like his incredible customer service should be known. I was actually so blown away by the BWP that I will make it a point to stay at one in the future. The rooms were incredibly clean and breakfast had soy milk!!

This was the 2nd cleanest hotel I've stayed in in Tallahassee. It would have been even better if I had been in a West-facing room, since there is some traffic noise from the intersection of Monroe and I-10 - mostly truck air-brakes and loud pick up exhausts. It would have been even quieter if the door sealed better - I could hear people talking normally in the hallway, from the window in my room. Opening the hallway closet door all the way helped with some of the sound and light coming in. The bed creaked a little. The only thing I hated was that Priceline charged me 20% more than the hotel charged them and the hotel was not booked up as was claimed to solicit a non-refundable prepaid full charge. This means I will no longer user Priceline/Booking/Kayak (all owned by Booking Holdings) or this hotel again.

Stopped at this hotel on our way to NOLA. Desk person was efficient and welcoming. Our room appeared to be recently renovated. Pleasing decor. Very comfy king bed and pillows. Clean and spacious. Nice size tv. In room coffee and tea. Good water pressure. Lots of choices for breakfast. Waffles, bacon, turkey sausage, eggs, cereals, yogurt. Easy access off I 10. Stay here. You won't be disappointed,

I especially loved the pretty blue waterfall in the lobby area, the room was very clean and bed comfy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Tallahassee area, they are doing an awesome job keeping this hotel up!

We arrived to find a neat, laminated sign, telling is that the front desk representative would return shortly. TOMISHIA arrived, pushing a luggage cart, escorting a handicapped gentleman. The gentleman was headed to park his car, and TOMISHIA had helped him unload his luggage, and delivered it to his room. We thanked her for helping him! Our check in was swift and efficient. Breakfast was good,and coffee was great. Our room was clean and well stocked. Check out was quick and efficient as well. ANDRE and ALLIE were serving the front desk with kind and friendly smiles. Yes, we will definitely add this hotel to our GREAT hotel list.

We had stayed here last year, so decided to try it again. Very convenient location right off I-10. Elevator wasn't working when we arrived. Room was large and clean. Hallway carpet could use some attention.

We traveled to Tally to attend our daughters graduation from FSU. We rented three rooms, two suites and one regular room. Two of the rooms had issues with either the sink or tub draining. One of the rooms had a terrible odor emitting from the toilet bowl. Also, the walls were so thin that you could hear noise from the rooms above and on either side and most especially the hallway. You always have some noise staying in a hotel but this was excessive. Breakfast was just mediocre. We only went the first morning and the rest of the time walked over to Waffle House for breakfast instead. I do have to say that the staff was amazing. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping. The location was also good.

Stayed 2 nights on a very busy weekend. Front desk staff was fantastic, friendly and efficient. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast area was large with a wide variety of options. Will definitely recommend to others and will make this our go-to hotel in Tallahassee

This hotel is a better-than-average mid priced 3* hotel. I'm not sure how old it is but it has the appearance of being well maintained and rather new. The lobby and breakfast area are smaller than most competitors, the breakfast was average (with great bacon though). They had scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage and yogurts along with a few cereal choices and big box pastries, no waffle maker. Paper plates and plastic utensils and average coffee. Little waiting for the elevator which was slightly worn, hallways were very clean and well maintained. Room size was average, bed average comfort, pillows small and below average with no variety so bring your own if you are particular, wall controlled standard wall unit AC/heat, which I'm not convinced worked very well, room was quiet from outside noise. Bathroom was an average size with a standard tub/shower combo, could have used a little more shelf space. Bathtub was a bit slippery and no mat was provided. Accessories were rather cheap and towel rack came out from wall just from pulling a towel off. All employees were exceptionally nice. Overall I would stay here again because the price seems to be more competitive than other Tally hotels and it is above average for a mid priced hotel. A little drive into town and would need a car for almost anything.

This Best Western is every bit as nice as any Hampton or Holiday Inn Express, including the breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities in first class condition. The location, just off I-10 is really convenient. Ms. Lilly and Donna serve up a wonderful breakfast buffet every morning.

On passing through we stayed one night at this hotel. Nice receptionist, great room and close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast buffet had plentiful choices and was fresh. Rooms was clean, beds were great.

Great location close to restaurant and shopping. Staff is very accommodating and helpful in all amenities. The building has easy secure access from all sides making parking an easy task. Breakfast provided is very fresh and tasty.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would but because the front desk agents were so polite they deserve the one star at least. I spent the last 4 nights here and it's been one problem after the next each and every night. The night I checked in after 9pm at a rate of well over $300 a night, water was pouring out the ceiling in the shower and the toilet over flowed. I called the front desk and they sent maintenance. He fixed the toilet but said it was nothing he could do about the shower. Next night, I arrive in tired from work at 9pm and again toilet over flowed. Third day I was told I had to move to a smaller room so they could repair the ceiling. My last night there again toilet over flowed. Huge inconvenience for me and no one seemed to care. I called the front desk several times while I was at work only to be hung up on several times. I was so upset at this point I told them I was checking out and canceling the remaining weeks on my reservation. At this point I was expecting a call at least from the manager. No one never called. I called back a few hours later and was told by the manager that at my request the reservation was canceled, she was crediting me $200 for the inconvenience but there was nothing else she could do. Very disappointing at how I was treated. The room was poorly maintained and poorly cleaned. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Tallahassee is very busy doing football season so hotels don't seem to care if guest leave upset BUT this will be remembered. Stay away from this place.

Don't normally stay at Best Westerns when in Tallahassee but glad I did. Very convenient location just off I-10 and plenty of parking. Check in was efficient, quick and friendly and room particularly spacious and comfortable with plenty of amenities. Breakfast was the usual hot buffet but more than adequate and check out was equally quick. Overall, impressed.

Hotel is nicely decorated and very clean. Check in was quick and efficient. We had a 2nd floor king room which was very quite. Hotel is located convenient to Interstate 10, but far enough away to not experience any highway road noise. Bed was comfortable. Lots of secure parking space. Good complimentary buffet breakfast with lots of choices. Popular Wahoo restaurant in easy walking distance. There are a lot of other hotels adjacent, but the Best Western seemed to be the best of the lot.

Please be aware.. I was hung up on twice, with an attitude and charged a smoking fee (I was told they had pictures as proof and to forward them but have not received them yet..). The front desk person "Laura", I think that was her name, was in panic mode because of the storm. I understand you are preparing for the storm but do not be disrespectful and/or condensending to the customer. Just tell me you will look into my situation and once the storm has passed, you will get back to me. That's understandable! I have worked during storms and I have never been disrespectful to anyone. Good customer service goes a long way and bad customer service can taint a customer's perspective...

The basics first: fragrance free sheets and towels, a boon for allergic travelers! Thank you to the owners and crew at this hotel for making that decision. The cleaning products are also fragrance free, I think. The rooms still have a bit of smell from carpet, etc, could do with some detail cleaning, and the air conditioners need a good cleaning as well. But goodness, we were so grateful to find this hotel! And so very grateful to Andre, who went above and beyond what most folks seem to do these days. We were at a B&B in a nearby town when I became quite ill from something on the property (asthma and allergy symptoms). My husband took one look at me and said, "We're getting out of here." I used my inhalers and got on the phone while he loaded up the car. Thankfully, my first call that night was to the Best Western Plus on Graves Road, and thankfully, Andre was working. My first questions as an asthmatic traveler are always "What laundry and what cleaning products do you use?" Andre not only understood the what and why of my questions, he went and double checked by looking at the labels of the products. Staff in larger, fancier hotels often don't even know how or won't do that. But Andre did, and we stayed there successfully for two nights then, and one night on our return trip. We are so grateful! And lest I forget, my husband was satisfied with the complimentary breakfast. It was pretty basic, but amply fortified him for the day. And the woman who looks after that area made a lovely impression. I gave this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 because of the need for detail cleaning and because it is a modest establishment. But rest assured, the staff are all 5 star!

Comfortable bed. Decent Breakfast. Hotel seemed a little outdated. Satisfactory for our one night as we passed through Tallahassee.We arrived later in the evening but Burger King was next door so we had an option for a quick meal since we were tired and didn't want to get back in the car.

On a U-Haul road trip across the Midwest to Tampa, we stayed at a couple of budget motels that, though perfectly adequate, lacked luxury to say the least. This time, after 11 hours on the road, we chose the Best Western Tallahassee North for a bit of luxury, its location on our route, its high TA ratings and its proximity to a really good seafood restaurant, the Wahoo Seafood Grill. Glad we did. My only negative was road noise, my fault because I forgot to ask for a room on the quieter backside the hotel. The rooms and bedding were great, the Wahoo was just steps away across the parking lot for a very nice dinner, and the complementary breakfast buffet was, I thought, outstanding, with scrambled eggs that were light and moist, tasty sausage and bacon, and really good biscuits and gravy.

I stayed two different nights during my trip north. Both visits were an excellent experience, The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the breakfast was wonderful! The "grab and go" BAG was very thoughtful.

Needed a stop between Orlando and New Orleans and so decided on Tallahassee. Check in was fast and efficient and staff bright and helpful. Our room was lovely and clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable and good choice of pillows. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was about the same as in most Best Westerns we have stayed in. Overall a good experience.

After walking 3+ miles in the! heat around FSU's campus, it was quite refreshing to arrive and check in to the Best Western in Tallahassee. The check-in process was quick and easy and the room was fabulous! I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud, the bed was so comfortable! i'll surely stay here again!

This is not a 5 star hotel by any means, but it was sufficient for our needs as a stopover while feeing Hurricane Florence. The elevator had a few dings and the standard room was not large, but it was very clean and the bed/ pillows were comfortable. The front desk staff, cleaning staff and breakfast staff were all extremely welcoming and gave 5 star service. It is convenient to I-10 and is a good choice for a night or two in Tallahassee.

This hotel is located in an ideal location when traveling on the Interstate. It is clean and very appealing. The bed was not as comfortable as many of the places we have stayed. The breakfast area is great but the eggs were somewhat undone. They did offer two meats; bacon and sausage. The sausage was also not very appealing and somewhat either undone or not very warm. If I stay here again I will make sure that I cook the eggs and sausages a little longer in their microwave.

Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast bar is ok. It could use some changes, but it's free so I am not complaining. Everyone working there was so friendly. Will stay here again when we pass through.

The room smelled good when I checked in. The pillows were the right amount of "Squishy" that I like. The comforter was heavy enough to sleep well. The shower... was probably the 2nd best shower that I've had over the course of a year. (I travel a lot for work - I like hot water, plenty of it, good water pressure, and the spout being above my head... this one passed muster! Thank you!). - The eggs at breakfast weren't great... but there was shredded cheese to doctor them, so that helped.

We always stay here when visiting our son at FSU. 5 miles from campus but easy to get back and forth. Very clean and comfortable. We've stayed here 5 different times in 5 different rooms. Beds are all comfortable!

My husband and I were traveling from Savannah, Ga to Baton Rouge, La and we needed a rest point. The hotel staff were very nice and room was very neat and clean. Close restaurants. We enjoyed our late night dinner at the Cracker Barrel restaurant which is located directly next door.

This is a great place to stay. We booked a room with a king size bed. We were on the third floor. The room was very spacious and clean. It was decorated very nicely with modern decor. The breakfast bar was excellent - Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, gravy & biscuits. Next time that we are in the tallahassee area, we will book here again.

I booked BW Plus solely on the Trip Advisor reviews and I can attest the accolades are justified. It's located seconds from Interstate 10 but it was exceptionally quiet. My room was spotlessly clean and fresh. They had a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage and, because it's the South, biscuits and gravy. Best of all, the price including tax, was just a hair over $100 per night for a weeknight stay. It was the best value I've scored from Trip Advisor yet!

Nice hotel wit a nice pool. Located directly near freeway, but quiet. Some restaurants in the direct environment. Good breakfast, unfortunately there was no egg and no bacon available, the lady at the buffet explained, that eggs and bacon are out. So our brakfast was not really extensive on our stay at Tallahassee.

Very nice and CLEAN hotel. This is my third stay and always very happy with the choice to stay here. Staff friendly and welcoming. Convenient location in Tallahassee right by I-10 exit. Will definitely stay again.

Super convenient to I-10 and where we were making a delivery. We had previously tried several other hotels in the area with disappointing results. Our room was clean, quiet, and not cramped! Bed was very comfortable too. Nice breakfast and kept well stocked. Great price too!

This motel is very conveniently located close to I-10. When my wife and checked in I asked if we could have a room on the first floor close to parking since my wife's back had been bothering her. The young lady at the front desk immediately changed our room to an accessible room that was perfect for my wife. This was out first stay in the "Plus" version of Best Western and we were very pleased. Rooms were large, well-decorated, and very comfortable. The beds were great. The hot breakfast had the usual assortment of items. The breakfast room staff kept items well-stocked, but many of the hot dishes were not on heaters of any kind, so the food got a little cool. There was a microwave oven, which helped.

This was one of three hotels options given for a wedding trip. My son checked out all three and decided this was the best option and he didn't steer me wrong. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. They had a variety for breakfast and the staff were very friendly. I would stay here again and again. Location was good as well so we were close to everything.

This was by far the best hotel we've ever stayed at in the Tallahassee area! Bed was really comfortable - not the typical hotel bed that wakes you up at 2:00 in the morning with all of your pressure points screaming at you. This bed gave a GREAT night's sleep; the room was super; the breakfast had everything you could possibly want; and the staff was so friendly and accommodating!!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was with the tv. We wanted to watch the weather as there was lots of rain in the area. All we could get were adult porn options. This happened both the evening we arrived and the next day as we prepared to leave. I'm really glad we weren't traveling with children.

I spent one night here on a recent road trip. It was convenient to the highway. The hotel was fantastic. I thought the air conditioner in the rooms were amazing – you could actually regulate the room temperature to where you were comfortable and not too cold or too stuffy. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. They had a nice selection of food at breakfast and even gave you snack bags when you left with a bottle of water, fruit and breakfast bars. Worth trying if you are in the area!

This hotel is so nice and a great price! There is absolutely no need to go anywhere else and on every future visit to Tallahassee this is where I am staying! From the lobby to the rooms, the decor is beautiful, spectacular, and clean -- blues and browns accented with chrome, very Art Deco. There's a really cool, thin, glass wall in the lobby that has bubbles running up inside of the water columns and blue light shining up from below. There are also big stylish comfy chairs and a sofa, it's all very relaxing. Also, there are two computer work stations against a lobby wall but there is a decorative glass partition behind them for privacy. The king size bed in our room was nice and firm and everything smelled of bleach, I LOVE that! My only complaint is that I could hear everything going on in the hallway. But no problem, I just switched on the continuous fan setting on the a/c and popped in my earplugs... slept like a baby. The free breakfast every morning was really good, too. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and moist, the bacon was cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed the hot coffee and cold orange juice. Thanks Best Western!

We arrived at midnight and tried to park in back when we were question by a security guard who helped us find parking by the hotel we stayed at. I never write reviews but I was thrilled we could get close secure parking as we had a new vehicle and expensive trailer. Thank you. Best Western was clean, rooms were nice, newly decorated and breakfast was good. Thanks again.

All good here! Clean and caring. I had no issues with the parking, breakfast, staff or room. It was just as advertised, which is refreshing. Nice sized rooms too, plenty of elbow room, it doesn't feel crowded like many hotel rooms do.

I thought I learned my lesson. But fooled again. Dirty, run down, hot!!! Broken air conditioning, bad food and tons of noise. We stayed for graduation weekend, terrible idea. They charged an EXORBITANT rate. Only bright spot was Fillmore, excellent front desk staff.

This hotel is extremely clean. The area was great and easy to get to other places in town. The mattress was slightly to firm for me. Our room was facing the road but no road noise was heard. Breakfast was great with real eggs served.

This hotel is situated right beside highway 10 and easily accessible. My first impression was it was old, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was spotless and we could not hear the highway. There is a pool. The breakfast was good and the front desk very helpful. As a traveller it's always nice to find a clean hotel enroute.

We stayed here for one night while travelling round Florida. Plenty of free parking. Good size room and very clean. About 10 min walk to plenty of restaurants in one direction and Walmart in the other. Good buffet breakfast included.

Stayed here for business. No problems. Quiet place, 10 minutes from downtown. Breakfast was hearty. Sausage and scrambled eggs with some pastries as well as cold and hot cereal. Definitely worth the price.

Tallahassee can be hard to find decent places to stay... Luckily we had family that lived in the area & was able to point us in the right direction... The hotel is close to I-10 & you can easily find it once you get off... They have a good breakfast buffet but there's also places to eat within walking distance... There is a Cracker Barrel & Publix nearby along with gas stations so you have everything you need all within close proximity... Rooms are nice & felt clean & have decent soap & shampoo stuff... Room has a fridge, microwave, alarm clock & tv with a desk for times you need to take notes or have office work to do... It also has a corner chair with ottoman & night stand for when you want to watch tv & snack... There is a side door from the parking lot so you can easily park close to your room if there not booked up... Everything with our stay went well the only drawback I had was the small square pillows & no HBO or free movie channels... The bed was nice & comfy but the pillows were like tiny so I felt like I slept a little weird... Almost like they cut a regular pillow in half.. Other than that this place was perfect...

It was an average hotel at an average price, my favorite type. I was missing the TV remote, I couldn't connect to the wi-fi and most of the food (I wanted) at breakfast was gone an hour before they stopped serving at 9am, they didn't bother to restock/refill anything at that point which was very disappointing and left myself and many other guests confused as to why more fresh food wasn't brought out an hour before 9am.

Right off of I-10, very convenient. We were just in town for one night to see the Florida Caverns over in Marianna. It's everything we needed. Very clean, very quiet, felt safe, hot breakfast, beds were comfy, price was decent. Included a desk, chair, and armchair, plus mini fridge and microwave. The room was on the smallish side, but all the other points more than made up for it. Would definitely recommend!

Convenient to I-10 and just off the main road, but the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Service is excellent, and they have all the facilities you need and probably some you don't. The front desk even had some earbuds for sale to replace ones that broke in the luggage. The room rate includes breakfast from 6-9AM, which normally includes scrambled eggs and sausage/bacon, freshly made biscuits and country gravy, plus assorted pastries, toast, cereals, yogurts, fruits, etc etc. A big plus in my book is that they served REAL butter, not yellow axle grease. Another plus is that they did NOT have one of those rubber waffle makers that some people seem to love, but which makes a mess and creates a waffle no one who can boil water on their own would eat. ONE FLAW: They ran out of bacon/sausage on one day of my stay. How can they do that!?!?!? FOR SHAME. ONE AMUSEMENT: The coffee and tea is on the other side of the dining area, and out of sight. Grab a table with a view and amuse yourself watching all the people searching for the coffee when they come to breakfast. Hopefully, the management will not ruin the fun and put up a sign that tells people where the coffee is. (Said with tongue in cheek.)

Having stayed in consecutive BWs for a few nights travelling around the south, this one was head and shoulders the best. Stylish decor, modern, very clean, great room (325), quiet and comfortable. What more could you ask for? A good breakfast? Now, I am not a fan of American breakfasts, being English, but the one here was actually good. Great coffee is always a good start but hot tea too... hey!! The sausages were passable but... biscuits and gravy!! Yum yum yum. I will be back to Tallahassee soon and will certainly stay here again. A VERY good hotel and not too expensive.

Stunned! That's what we were. Granted there were no events at the time, games, parents' weekend, etc. but I am confident in saying even at the premium rates on those weekends this place well worth it. And from check-in to check-out top notch service. Especially Jay to welcome us at the front desk. Wow! He loves this place and his guests!

Laura made my one week stay seamless and just wonderful. She is very professional, courteous and clearly has a focus on her guests. The rooms were extremely comfortable, breakfast service was good and the hotel is very close to many restaurants and shopping center. And again, Laura is outstanding !!!

We were on our way to Alabama so we just needed a place to spend the night. THe hotel is super clean, great breakfast, nice staff. The rooms are a good size, comfortable beds and nice decor. Would recommend if you don't need to be close to FSU

Upon check in 2/27/2018 Andre was very pleasant and knew the area well. Upon check out on 2/28/2018 Jay was so sweet and helpful. We will be staying here anytime we are in the area. The room was very clean and breakfast was delicious. Any staff that we had contact with was very nice.

I will start out by saying the front desk staff was great, super friendly and helpful! The room was also clean which is super important! After that though I'm not sure what makes it the highest rated hotel in Tallahassee. Our room was ground floor, two queen beds and nothing special. Probably most notable was that the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan. The second night I think there were softball teams staying there and we could hear everything being said in the hallway...from midnight until 7 the next morning. The room did have a mini refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was okay. Just don't expect quiet rooms.

Very friendly check in staff. Every best western has done their best to book a ground floor room due to mobility challenges and this one didn't disappoint. Clean and quiet rooms. Decently stocked breakfast. Fast, reliable internet.

This was a great stop on our trip to Florida. It was an easy to access off I - 10 and had several restaurants within short drive. Lounge, room and breakfast was very well appointed and taste fully decorated. Very comfortable room/beds. Staff was friendly and pleasant.

Pros: nice decor, new, friendly service. Nearby in walking distance is Wahoo Fish House which has good food--service good one night, a big slow the other night. Cons: free breakfast, but very thin orange juice, and staff was unable to fix the machine. Rather chaotic breakfast set up, not well-managed, lots of tiny rooms, hard to find the coffee.

I made my every other year trip to Tallahassee to see Notre Dame beat FSU in women's basketball. Final score was ND 100, FSU 69! Go Irish. The game was on a Sunday afternoon at 4 so I left Orlando just after 7 and arrived in Tallahassee just after noon with a stop in Lake City at Bob Evans in between. I knew I was early, but I had nothing else to do. Laura was at the desk when I arrived (and also the next morning at check-out); she was top notch. She said that the hotel had been full the night before and that no king bed rooms were ready. I asked if one would be ready before 2 pm, and she said definitely so I went to the car, got my stuff, and came back and sat in the lobby to read. I had only read just over a page when she said that since I was a BW Platinum, she could upgrade me to an Executive King, and one was ready. I said great and took the room. She apologized since it wasn't on the top (3rd) floor, but there were no noise issues even though it was also just across from the elevator. I don't think the hotel was too full on Sunday night! I had hoped for a tub, but there was just a shower. I knew this before I went to the room as I preferred a place to rest a few hours instead of a tub-thus no deduction on this point. The ice machine was on the first floor by the side exit just a few feet from the elevator and again no major issue. The room was dark even though there were many light fixtures. The few staff members I encountered were all nice and welcoming. Room: Very nice with separate living room area. The bed was very comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. There were 2 TVs. The wifi worked very well. The TV had lots of channels, but there wasn't much on when I was there-not the hotel's fault. There was a desk. The bathroom had the previously mentioned shower plus a sink and a toilet off to the side (not behind a door and without a light above). The amenities (soap, shampoo, etc.) were higher quality than usual at this level of hotel. I'm not sure if it's because I was in an Executive room or if these were standard for all rooms. I have no major issues with the room or the supplies. In summary, it was very comfortable and offered me a chance to relax and rest up for my return drive to Orlando. Breakfast: I was expecting more when they said “hot breakfast”. Hampton Inn has better breakfast offerings, and Holiday Inn Express has recently upgraded theirs to include healthy egg white omelets and turkey meat and really put out a good spread. There were scrambled eggs, fatty boxed sausage links, microwave-type bacon, and, of course, as everywhere in the rural South (and Tallahassee is more south Georgia than Florida-I grew up in south Georgia so that's not a negative really), sausage gravy and biscuits. There also were different breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, and cereal plus juice and water from a soda dispenser unit. My concern with the breakfast set-up on a quiet day like this one is that these “hot” food items would sit out the entire breakfast serving hours and more! I was glad I was there at 6:30 so it only been out 30 minutes or maybe a little longer. I ate enough to get me on the road until I could stop for a real “hot breakfast” at Bob Evans in Ocala. In summary, about breakfast, if you're not a picky breakfast eater like me, this should do fine! In conclusion, this was my 3rd and best stay yet in Tallahassee. Four years ago, I stayed at an awful Best Western just east of downtown. It was like a south Georgia motor court and had a horrible breakfast plus many smells and strange people hanging around. Two years ago, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express one exit east of here. I like its location better, but it also had issues with elevators and wasn't the best HI Express. Of these 3, this is my first choice if I visit in 2020. It would be a TripAdvisor 3 if I were comparing it to my usual choice of hotel, but it's a 4 based on its competition. Everything was clean, I felt safe, and the people were all friendly so all positives there, but that's what one expects so nothing above average to merit a TripAdvisor 5!

I recently stayed here for a quick business trip and was pleased with the convenient location right off of I-10 and close to the Capitol. Other than a layer of dust on the top of the headboard, the room was clean and comfortably decorated. There's a fairly big refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room making it nice for an extended stay. The price seemed to be a bit high I'm guessing because the legislature is in session, but it was still worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if my travels bring me to Tallahassee.

As I said in my last review, ask for a room on the second or third floor away from the door. This time we asked and got a better room. Good breakfast too, for the price. We would stay again. Didn't even need to turn on the AC so not sure about it but everything else was fine.

I recently returned from a five-night stay at the Best Western, and it has become my usual spot when visiting Tallahassee for work. The "Best Western Plus" properties seem to be recently remodeled and this place is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good for what you'd expect in the price range. No noise issues even though it's close to the interstate.

We got stuck at the airport waiting on a family member to arrive and the plane was delayed from mid-afternoon until 2:30 am. Around 10pm I called this hotel randomly from seeing it on a map, not really knowing what to expect. The guy on the phone was kind, efficient and got me a room reserved in no time at all at a good rate. I went to the hotel just 15 minutes from the airport and was able to rest before going back out for the 2:30 am flight. I felt safe in the parking lot even at that hour. The room was large and the beds were super comfortable. The decor of the hotel was relatively new and quite pretty. All was very clean! Breakfast was provided but we only had coffee. It looked as though the breakfast was well stocked. Easy access back onto the highway is a plus with this hotel as well. Free wi-fi. highly recommend.

My wife and stayed here while we traveled back from Orlando Fl. It was just an overnight stay just to rest from driving. The room was very nice and it was large. The bed was comfortable and it was quite. The breakfast was not bad at all. It was a hot buffet with your typical breakfast foods. All in all, this was a great hotel.

Clean and convenient rooms in a hotel right there by the I-10. They offer a free breakfast that is not top notch but is there. There is a guest laundry. Free Wifi. First night we stayed (on our way to Florida) they experienced some issues with the fire alarm system between 2 and 2:30 am. No issues the second time on our drive back to Texas. You can hear the traffic from the main road but it's not overwhelming.

Met our prerequisites. Great location right off the interstate. Two dining options within 500 feet to walk to. Someone said it had been updated recently and certainly looked new. Yes, we would stay here again. Plenty of parking.

We had a good and unspectacular one night stay here on our trip to Southern Florida. The hotel is conveniently located close to I 10, it was clean, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed here on my way back from Georgia with my 92 year old mother. I was very impressed. The staff was very welcoming and our room was excellent. It was super clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was awesome and I appreciated not eating right on top of the food. The choices were excellent. I highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

We haven't stayed at a Best Western in many years but when we saw the rating of this location on Trip Advisor we thought we would give it a try. What a pleasant surprise. The staff was nice and the room comfortable. At check in they gave us a free drink ticket for the restaurant (Bistro 27) at the Holiday inn across the way (apparently both properties are owned by the same owners). We would recommend this small restaurant as well. We stayed in room 219 and while not too much of a bother we would often hear the TV from the room to our right and the shower from the room to our left. Overall we will try a Best Western Plus hotel again.

This is a great place to stay for the money. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The fitness area was a little small but clean. I have stayed here before and will come back again.

We went to Tallahassee for our son in laws graduation. Parking was adequate for the size of the hotel. The staff was super friendly. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was better than other hotels with similar breakfast offerings. The location makes it very easy to get around to various sites and there are a variety of restaurants nearby. We'd defiantly stay again in the future. P.s military discount on the room was nice.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The lobby area is an up to date lobby and very neat, clean and fashionable. We enjoyed the staff who were pleasant and helpful. There was a hiccup in check-out, but our overall stay was an enjoyable one. Our stay was during graduation weekend, which the per night stay was higher than normal, but overall a great stay and convenient to many areas and locations in Tallahassee.

This was our second visit to this motel. If you want a quality motel with great service don't pass by this location. Their breakfast was wonderful with a lot of selections. The room was beautiful and updated. We loved the individual reading lites on each side of our king size bed. I could read during the night and not disturb my husband. The staff are courteous, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The fitness center was professional with well maintained equipment. A plus for us is that this location is smoke free and pet free.

We are picky about the cleanliness of hotel rooms and were beyond satisfied with what we found here. It is VERY clean and nice. We had no complaints at all. Don't hesitate if you are considering this area. Book it!

The room was very comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long drive. The pool wasn't large but was clean and the landscaping was eye-catching. We use this hotel for our visits to Tallahassee when our children are involved in musical activities at Florida State University. This very nice hotel is clean and well appointed. Staff courteous and helpful. The hotel is close to the local commercial district (restaurants, entertainment,etc.) and a 10 minute drive from the Florida State University Campus. We have stayed there several times and have enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is located at the center of the 3 exits on I-10 that serves the downtown area. It has all the amenities that makes for a good stay. The fitness center and the pool are helpful in working off the stress of a day's work or driving. The hotel staff are pleasant and helpful. This is my go to hotel when working in the Tallahassee area.

As a loyal member to the Best Western chain. I feel that I make a pretty good Rater of their hotels. Terrible service from the start. We were a group of 6 adults and a 3 year old child. We made our reservations more than three months prior for 2 adjoining rooms preferably on the first floor. Two days prior t our arrival we contacted the hotel to verify our reservations. The receptionist on the phone told us that everything will be accommodated. When we arrived on Friday afternoon we were told by Phil that the hotel is currently booked, all rooms on the first floor were occupied, and all adjoining rooms are also occupied, but we could accommodate us with neighboring rooms on the second floor. We accepted the rooms and asked to speak with a manager. There was no available manager until Saturday morning at 7 am. When we woke up the following morning and spoke with Allie the manager she told us that she was sorry. Sorry doesn't make a difference when after confirming everything would be accommodated. We could not even get a discount on our rooms for not getting the accommodations we asked for. Later that morning we contacted customer ser

Came in on Friday for a FSU Parents weekend and football game. Hotel was terrific, accommodating, clean, and friendly staff. Comfortable beds, clean room, hot breakfast, and only 15 mins to FSU campus.

We arrived at 11pm after a monumental drive from Memphis. The room was clean & comfortable and we both had a very sound sleep until our alarms went off. The only real downside was that breakfast stops early at 9am. We arrived at 8.45am and there wasn't much there and the staff were starting to clear away. Shame as the previous Best Western we stayed at breakfast was available later. The hotel almost did what it needed to do - let us sleep on our way through to central Florida, but on emptier stomachs than we could have had.

The Best Western Plus Tallahasse North, was modern, updated, very clean and well furnished. Very close to main roads, but quiet. The breakfast was typical, but good, everything was continually being restocked and kept clean. All personnel were pleasant and helpful. The price was reasonable and we would definitely stay here again.

Sound isolation isn't very good, could hear road traffic and other guests talking, fortunately it was silent at night. breakfast is till 9am on weekdays, till 10am on weekend. we arrived at the last minutes, not much scrambled egg left, sausage is not good, toaster doesn't work well. not very happy with the breakfast.

I walked in with no reservation, exhausted after driving all night, frustrated and angry because I just walked out of a competing hotel that I had reservations at that was AWFUL! After that experience I sat in a parking lot and read hotel reviews, I found the Best Western Plus Tallahassee. I was skeptical of all the great reviews, but the second I walked in the lobby I started to believe. Charity was manning the desk and no joke... she is EXCEPTIONAL! She has that perfect blend of confidence and warmth. I arrived way before normal check in time (and remember, no reservation) and she had me in a room within 5 minutes. I went from angry and frustrated to happy as can be! THANK YOU Charity! You ROCK! This place pays attention to the details, gives you what you need and then some. It's spotless, and I do mean SPOTLESS! The housekeeping and maintenance staff take as much pride in their work as Charity at the front desk. They are constantly at work making it beautiful! You might think that type of focus would make people aloof or detached. NOPE, not here. Every single staff member I encountered was welcoming, warm and helpful (and I encountered a lot, they are ALWAYS working to make this place great). You can 100% tell the focus here is on making guests happy! This place is almost magical. The customer service and attentiveness is like you might experience at a certain mouse house in Orlando or on a luxury cruise ship. The decor is fresh and cozy at the same time. The beds are comfy, the shower heads are perfect (plenty of power to rinse every trace of shampoo and conditioner out of long, thick hair). It's interior corridor, very safe! Great WIFI, strong enough to stream videos and not drop my connection once! Breakfast is free, abundant and actually delicious. Plenty of choices and kept just as pristine as the rest of the facility. The toiletries are great! Just a wonderful place for a weary traveler to rest their head. Seriously, this hotel is absolutely AMAZING! The icing on the cake? It's priced very fairly. It was only a few dollars more than the horrific dump I walked out of. It is much less expensive than a majority of hotels in the area. It's truly a bargain! You WON'T regret staying here!

Have stayed here a couple times. Rooms are clean. Hotel is quiet. Good location near I-10. About 10-15 minute drive to FSU. Breakfast is OK, normal items, eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc. Rooms have always been clean and comfortable.

You can tell this is an older hotel that has been remodeled. They keep it clean. Our toilet wouldn't flush but the chain had just broke out but I fixed that. Faster than waiting on maintenance. :) Was a little disappointed because I requested rooms away from the road but got rooms facing the road. They weren't that busy so hard to believe they couldn't help us out. Over all though it was good for the price.

We arrived slightly early but the nice chap on reception was very accomodating and let us grab a coffee and relax by the lovely pool until the room was ready. The room was fresh and clean with quiet air conditioning...and breakfast was enjoyable too. My wife used the gym and reported it was a good facility. Would return again.

Stayed here for the first time and was very impressed by the facility and the two staff members we interacted with during our stay. The room was appointed very nicely, had everything one would want or need for an overnight stay and was competitively priced. Highly recommended!!!

1 night stay on our way to Orlando. It is in a quiet location just off the highway with easy access to shops and restuarants. Quick and easy check-in with comfortable rooms. The breakfast was much better than we had expected. All in all an excellent choice and worth the money.

My daughter and I stayed here on our way to St Augustine. This is a very nice hotel. It was very clean and quiet. We had a speedy check-in and check-out. The breakfast was very good as well. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

So this is the #1 hotel in Tallahassee, and wow, it's great. Best Western has really surprised me lately. These renovations and rebuilds are starting to turn the brand around into something not to pass over. The rooms are spacious, modern, with ample amenities. There's lots of TV channels, clean bathrooms, a great breakfast bar, fast WiFi, and a pool that looks like it's from a resort. I'm very happy here.

This is my second stay here and again, it's a relaxing break. The rooms are new and spotless with modern decor and the kind of luxury details you'd find in a four-star: Neutrogena bath products, plush bedding, bedside power outlets and reading lamps, work desk with ergo-dynamic chair and chaise/footrest, microwave and fridge, soft towels, plus free wifi/parking and fabulous hot breakfast offerings-- this morning they had scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, cereals, juices, a build your own breakfast burrito setup and more. Love the 24-hour coffee to go, as well. The price per night here can't be beat for the quality and it's less than a quarter mile from I-10.

Traveling to Orlando made a stop in Tallahassee for an overnight stay. I traveled for about 35 years and mostly stayed at Holiday Inns. Both franchises have made major improvements but I believe Best Western has come out the winner. Each hotel we have stayed at has been at or above my standards. This hotel is no exception.

I never write bad reviews but I am too upset with my stay at this hotel. The room appeared to be clean but once we got ready to go to sleep we noticed the sheets had dog hair all over them. My husband called the front desk and asked if someone could please change our sheets. He was told he could change them himself because there was no one available. He went downstairs, they took him inside the laundry room and gave him some sheets. He came up and as we tried to change the sheets we realized they had given him queen sized sheets instead of king. At this point, we were so exhausted from our trip we gave up. Any other hotel would have offered to change your room. On top of this, the walls are paper thin it appears. You can hear EVERYTHING.

Really like this hotel; it has an attractive decor and great customer service. Our check-in and check-out experiences were seamless. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options. I would definitely return and recommend this BW.

Arrived to a lovely welcome from the receptionist and a quick check in. The room was a nice size and clean, with comfortable beds. The whole hotel was clean with friendly staff also breakfast was very good. Check out was also very quick and efficient. A place to stay if in the location.

We were two of thousands of evacuees from Hurricane Irma. We needed a place to stay and had called ahead to reserve a room at the Best Western Plus at exit 199 on interstate 10. It was a very busy time in the hotel business for that area with many people trying to find a place to stay. The front desk associates at this hotel have nerves of steel and patients beyond belief. Hotel staff at every level was pushed to the limit, whether serving breakfast to hundreds, housekeeping for all the rooms as quickly as possible, cleaning constantly because of the tremendous rush of people forced to evacuate their homes, this hotel staff performed remarkably well making our stay for five days as pleasant of an experience as could be expected and under the most distressing circumstances. The hotel staff really did an outstanding job, especially the front desk people. Thanks to all of you from the bottom of my heart. I certainly will stop there again.

As #1 hotel in Tallahassee per Trip Advisor users , I was expecting way more. The hotel is in front of US10 so from my room I could hear the highway cars, trucks, RV's, motorcycle's and etc passing by...To make this less problematic they added an even more noisy air conditioning system in the room. In other words had a lot of problems to sleep. The breakfast ends at 9:00, which I wasn't alerted when I've checked in, so please be aware. Gym has only three equipment : one bicycle, one elliptical and one treadmill. Treadmill is not working. Good things about the hotel: Easy check in, easy parking, room is clean, easy to book.

Love the changes at Best Western Plus. The rooms are great - clean, modern with refrigerators and microwaves. Your wifi info is supplied automatically at check-in. Most importantly, we were frantic after the 7 hr drive from Ft Lauderdale took 14 hrs. We called multiple times to make sure our rooms would be held for late arrival. They were gracious and reassuring- helped minimize our stress. Thanks to Phil on the desk. Everyone was wonderful and supportive. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon sausage... very nice. Thank you from the refugees!!

Fantastic value. Better than more expensive hotels! Clean, Modern well equipped rooms. Friendly reception staff.Generous choice of refreshments all day available in reception including chilled fruit infused water. Good breakfast selection and bonus marks for providing soy milk. Tables are well spaced apart to provide a pleasant ambiance.

I can't say that I have ever stayed at a Best Western Hotel in the past, simply because I didn't believe it was a quality hotel chain. Well, was I wrong. Because of the rating on TripAdvisor I decided to give it a try. This was a great stay for my family & I. The facility was clean, well lit with very friendly staff. I definitely recommend it. I do however suggest better towels, other that that, we were all very happy with the stay at Best Western.

The West Florida High Cross Country Team stayed her on 8/25. Our experience was great, this is one of the better hotels we have stayed at. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, you can't go wrong staying here!

The hotel was clean, rooms comfortable, staff friendly. Great location, right off of I-10, minutes away from Starbucks, Walgreens, ChicFilA and Bank of America. About 15 minutes from FSU and TCC. Great breakfast with lots of options and free. Wish it was available a little later than 9am though. We plan to stay when in Tallahassee.

I always stay at the Best Western Plus when visiting Tallahassee. The staff is friendly and the rooms are always clean. The staff is always available assist with any help that's needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
