    « 2 Days in Sydney »

The very reason why we chose this hotel is that it offers free parking, its not very expensive and is not very far to some of Sydney's major tourist attractions. The room is beautiful and spacious but after we settle all our things we notice that few german cockroaches crawling in the cabinets, toilet and other areas. I highly recommend the pest treatment of the whole area to prevent them from spreading. I talked with the incharge and he acted on our concern swiftly - kudos. The internet connection speed is intermittent and slower than expected but we are happy with our stay. You only need to request bread toaster and microwave oven if you need it because it is not provided in some of the room. They have good pool if you want to relax after a busy tour around town. Worth the visit in Sydney and worth a stay in their hotel.

    « Great location »

Working in Chatswood which is a short Uber drive or a 40-minute walk, this place was ideal for what I needed. It is a little dated, but that is fine. Everything worked as it should. The bed comfy, the rooms could be a little on the noisy side, but after dark, it quickly quietened down. I did not have any issue with noise during the night. Everyone at the reception was friendly and helpful when I spoke to them. I needed to extend my stay by two nights which was no issue, although I did need to change rooms. They were also good enough to mind my case for the day whilst I was working. A few negatives which took it to average. One of the mugs had not been washed properly and there were coffee stains on the outside. It had to be washed again. Also, the internet was very hit and miss. It was fine, then it would drop and the speeds were not fantastic. It was useable but at times only just. Apart from that, it was a good stay and I would return.

    « Return visit »

Stay here often as it close to where I sometimes have work or a short drive or train trip into the CBD. The price of accommodation is often a third of other places. It is old style but comfortable and clean with great staff. Currently rooms are being updated.

    « Very good value »

Well the place isn't new but it's rooms are big and comfy and it's very well priced compared to their places in the area. Just stated the one night and it's definitely a good value place to spend a night. Also, about a 20 minute walk to the Great Northern Hotel which is still a good spot to eat and drink.

« Great meal break after a busy day »

Great Hotel + Staff are fabulous + food excellent. Breakfast was very good. Hotel location very convenient for all of Coffs Harbour. Owner Darryl is very friendly and will go out of his way to help you - nothing is too hard. Truck noise from highway was surprisingly not too bad for a highway location. Pool availability is excellent.

    « Disgusting Motel »

We booked this hotel for a one night stay in March , 2018. Immediately upon entering our room it smelt like vomit . We didn't do anything as we thought maybe we were just being silly. A short while later we put our 7 month old to bed in a portacot that had been set up for us. Half an hour later our 7 month old woke up screaming. As I lifted her out of the cot we realised the base had not been put together correctly (a sheet was on top hiding this fact) and she was in fact lying on the frame of the portacot as the slates in the base mattress were broken . We fixed the mattress and returned to watch some Foxtel. Every channel was blurry and pixelated and you were unable to watch any pay tv. The next morning we went to shower and immediately noticed stains all over the hand towel and one of the towels hanging up to use. The hand towel had fresh (not washed and stained but fresh!) cream and yellow coloured stains . The towel had brown marks which again appeared fresh and not washed and dried! We were absolutely disgusted and checked out immediately. It was obvious that the towels had just been left by previous customers and housekeeping hadn't changed them. We advised reception of the Issues and were contacted an hour or so later by the manger . They refused to offer a discount or refund for our stay and said all they could do was provide a reduced rate on our next stay. We obviously stated that we would not be returning and a Reduced rate for a subsequent stay would be useless . The manager said he would speak to his boss and call back . Of course he never did. This motel was out dated , old , dirty and disgusting. I would not recommend any person stay here .

« Best hotel in Sydney »

I need to go to the Mater Hospital in woolenstencroft every 4 months and we always stay at Twin towers, rooms are very clean, all staff are excellent very helpful and the price is amazing. Food in the restaurant and room service is very good also. I would highly recommend.

    « Great Place »

We stayed there one night the room was clean and we had two beds as my step son and his girlfriend stayed with my wife and I. The beds were comfortable as well as the fact you are close to public transport.

    5
    « Clean & Comfortable »

Staying while my partner was in the north shore hospital, motel is about 15 mins easy walk to the hospital or the bus is close to the door. Staff friendly & rooms clean & comfortable also the pool was very nice also a spa & handy as my room was at the front & little noise from the street, car park was easy to access, I also left my car there after leaving my room for awhile while I visited my partner before I left for home. Also the fridge was good to have in the room.

« Perfect Motel for our Family Trip »

We stayed here for 3 nights in total - for a flying visit to see family and friends and the main sights. Our room was ideal - there were 5 of us, reasonable size, with a sliding partition to separate one of the double beds with a TV in each half. Staff were very friendly and the stay went very smoothly. Location could not have been better for us. Free parking for hire car - easy to drive to from the airport as on Pacific Highway. Great for public transport - we used the frequent buses to get to St Leonard's station (there is a food court there which we used for breakfast quite a bit) and then used the train to get into the city over the harbour bridge (Opal Fare discounted when transferring between bus and train). An added bonus is that the bus stop opposite was served by the Manly bus which took 50 mins and was cheap. My personal highlight was proximity to the Lane Cove Bushland Park accessible just off Pacific Highway a few doors down! You can immerse yourself in the Australia bush in a matter of minutes. Awesome!

    « Relaxing »

Great staff on arrival, very helpful and courteous. Room was of a good size and the beds extremely comfy. Nothing was too much trouble, lots of room to park your vehicle which is fantastic. Great location, right on the highway giving you easy access to major attractions not to far away

    4
    « Weekend break! »

I have stayed at the Twin Towers Artarmon on five occasions. The staff are always welcoming, and despite the hotel needing an update, the rooms are always clean and tidy. The hotel is near to public transport. Although on the highway, the rooms are at the back and very quiet.

    4
    « Large rooms »

Stayed here overnight with the family. Booked direct through website. Rooms are old school, fairly typical country motel style. Comfortable and functional with enough room for kids to play on the floor with toys. Particularly enjoyed that room was able to be partitioned into a separate area with 1 bed and tv, then 2 more beds and another tv. Free parking a big bonus in Sydney. Staff were friendly and accommodating - emailed a few days in advance to arrange earlier check in time so we could drop off our luggage and head off to explore and this wasn't an issue. Location would be awkward without a car. Close to Chatswood with lots of shopping and dining options, and St Leonards, by car.

    3
« comfortable - but bathroom was very dirty »

Ticked all the boxes for a low cost stay and would stay again if I could check out the bathroom before I checked in - mine was quite horrible. Namely the dirt and mould in the grout around the sink, toilet, window, shower cubicle. Shame, as it let down an otherwise perfectly adequate hotel. Then room itself was comfortable and had all that you need. It was on the front row near the hwy but the traffic noise wasn't an issue. I would have marked it very good - but had to take points off for the state of the bathroom. Next time (and I will give it another go) please please -- a room away from the road, and a clean bathroom.

    4
« Comfortable and Roomy but You Need a Car »

I found the room to be large and quite comfortable for my 4-day stay, but I was probably one of the few guests to stay here without a car. St Leonards station is not too far to walk if you are young and fit. Since I had friends living nearby I was able to cope without a vehicle and overall it was enjoyable. Didn't get to try the restaurant for dinner as it was closed on the only night I had free (Sunday) but tried it for breakfast one morning and it was okay. My main challenge during the stay was that wifi only worked in my room early morning, and went down each day mid to late morning.

    5
    « enjoyed stay »

motel was clean and tidy ,everything worked , although pre booked check in and out was easy with friendly staff, breakfast was great with a very helpful and jovial host would stay again with no hesitation

    3
« Reasonable place to stay »

Had five days working in the immediate vicinity, quite comfortable motel and reasonable price for the area. The motel restaurant only one in immediate vicinity,Thai takeaway 300 meters up the road. Has wi-Fi and Foxtel

    4
« Comfortable, friendly and reasonably priced »

Stayed for the week due to training in St Leonards. Room not terribly big but very comfortably, staff friendly and and 10-15min walk to St Leonards station. Easy to get food from St Leonards, get food delivered or use the hotel restaurant or room service. All good options and hotel restaurant pasta was very tasty and made to dietary requirements Would go back as an easy and friendly experience

    4
« Friendly, Clean, Comfortable and Quiet »

From the moment I stepped through the door I was made to feel welcome. The room was at the back of the property and I wondered as we wound through the property what it would be like. Externally, the slope of the land and driveway may seem off-putting. Similarly the exterior is just stairways, doors and pathways. But the room was surprisingly large with a leafy outlook and being at the rear of the property was very quiet. The Queen size bed was comfortable (with another the same size beside it) and the room was reasonably well appointed. The bathroom was compact but clean and certainly large enough to work comfortably. The television was in a cupboard which made it a little awkward to watch if you were sitting at the table eating - but it's a TV with the usual rubbish shows, so who cares? Checkout was quick and friendly - they smiled as they took out money. At the price I think this property offered EXCELLENT value for money and I will certainly be staying there again next time we visit Sydney.

    3
« You need good legs for this motel »

The location of this motel is its best feature I found it difficult to negotiate the hilly parking lot and the stairs to the breakfast restaurant- it would be much easier if it had a lift! also if you like your coffee or tea in a mug you better bring your own, the cups are very tiny

« Good HOtel for one night - very reaonsably priced »

When trying to find a low priced yet reasonable quality hotel on the North Shore this is a good choice. Hotel is clean and unpretentious. Rooms are ok, furniture a bit worn out and the bathroom very basic. But it does provide for a good night sleep. Breakfast is cheap but very limited variety. Good thing is you can park your car without charges, not the common thing in pricey Sydney. I would stay there again for a night should I have to go up the coast and arrive late evening in Sydney. Internet is free but doesn't work properly. Had massive problems staying on-line..

    4
« Good accommodation at a reasonable rate »

The hotel is an older hotel but very clean. Close to Royal North Shore hospital. Although located on the Pacific Hwy there was no traffic noise. Plenty of parking but not undercover. Shops were about a 10 minute drive away in either direction. Some rooms can be pet friendly as long as the pet is domesticated, cleand and quiet.

    3
    « Family visit! »

This was our second stay at the Twin Towers Inn. We chose it again because it is close to family. The premises are dated, but the rooms are very comfortable and clean. We asked for a room at the rear of the Inn again, and were happy with room 22 which has a balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful. Check-in was fast, and check-out was completed the night before departure. Buses to the city, and train stations in between are at the door. If travelling by car, there is plenty of parking within the Inn's grounds.

    4
« Very good value for money »

We are required to work in Crows Nest a few days each month and this hotel is perfectly located and very reasonably priced. Typical of the Best Western brand it offers very comfortable beds and clean rooms. This hotel is a little dated but, for the money, offers outstanding value. We ate in the on-site restaurant one night but would not bother with that again. Whilst the food was OK, the service was a little overbearing, perhaps because there was only one other person in the restaurant.

    2
« One night in Sydney »

The room was okay but not exceptional like most of the other Best Westerns we have used. The staff was accommodating but did not give any recommendations on what to do or where to go. W asked for directions to the nearest restaurants and got one pizza place a few blocks away as their recommendation.

    5
    « Just perfect »

As soon as I entered the room, a feeling of relaxing, peaceful surrounded by bushland, trees, beautiful view. Cosy room, chairs, and everything that is needed for a staying. Convenient and I feel I could ask for anything should I need!

    4
    « Clean & Tidy »

Room was certainly clean & tidy, we were in a room that had 2 queen beds, and the only let down was 1 packet of biscuits....lol........ we thought that maybe it was a mistake on arrival but the next day after the room was restocked only 1 packet of biscuits was returned. I know this sounds petty but when you have up to 4 people in a room i think there should be enough tea, coffee, milk ( 4 little long life pods) , biscuits etc to go around. We went to reception to get more milk to be told to go to the restaurant which was closed by 9:30am . There was also no cooked breakfast available due to it being the Easter long weekend. We would definately stay here again as its close to where we wanted to be (Lane Cove) and these are just a few minor hiccups. Free WiFi was good.

    5
    « Perfect for a family reunion! »

Our family spent 3 comfortable nights recently at Twin Towers Inn. We occupied rooms 6 and 789 and were very happy to have our own area and private balcony. Perfect for us all to be together! Having a kitchen was great. Very satisfied with the location, quietness and friendly and cooperative staff.

    3
    « Adequate for a quick stay »

In a recent family trip through Sydney, we chose this hotel which was in between all of our destinations. This location is more of a motel with each room opening into the parking lot. Our room was quite spacious with clean bedding configured for 4. The furnishings were quite dated and there were quite a few deficiencies (burnt out bulbs on nightstand and mini bar, no coat hangers in the room). The bathroom was small, equipped with just a standing shower, and the tiles and grout showing its age. The good thing about the room was the very quite air conditioning which was great for sleeping at night. We didn't try the on site restaurant but it had limited open days for breakfast and dinner so check with the front staff beforehand. Unfortunately for the kids the pool was closed for maintenance during our entire stay. Overall, this motel served us well during our visit but I am definitely used to a little more as a platinum member in North American BW chains. In my next visit I will check out the other hotels in this area before returning.

    3
    « It was ok »

Firstly let me say that the room itself was very clean and spacious but that is the only nice thing I will say. Shower head was useless. The restaurant does not open on Saturday nights and as the place was nearly full it came as a surprise. Had to drive elsewhere to get a feed. Would not stay here again.

« Great for the price »

We stayed here for about 9 days. All-round we had a pleasant. clean and quiet stay. CONS: The front desk staff were immediately really off-putting as they completely ignored us until we kind of forced them to interact with us. There are no kitchen facilities in the room whatsoever besides a kettle and a fridge so we lived on potato salad and pizza for a week. The rooms are a little dated and could do with some tidying up, but not to an upsetting degree at all. The intersection the building is placed on is slightly inconvenient, as it is a large, traffic-lighted area and you can only really turn left if you want to leave and can only turn in certain ways. PROS: We had a great view from our room and it was always cleaned to a nice standard. The rest of the staff we met were really nice and friendly. The rooms were a good size and had a good selection of tv options. The hotel is so close to bus stops it's fantastic. We had a car but utilized buses pretty regularly because parking is a nightmare and it was so easy. The car-park was really convenient and easy to navigate. It's a short drive into Sydney and an equally short drive to the malls at MacQuarrie and other popular areas. All in all we would definitely use this hotel again given the opportunity.

    4
« Good value... for Sydney »

Sydney is expensive! For under $200 in Sydney, this place is as good as it gets. A bit of a walk to the nearest train station (1500m) but the bus stop is right outside. Parking is plentiful and complementary - also rare for Sydney. Very convenient for Luna Park especially. Free wifi. Good air conditioning for hot summers days.

    5
« Great place to stay »

We booked this hotel on a recent business trip to Sydney. We were very impressed from the start with the service and were not disappointed on arrival. The room was large and very clean. Thank you we will definite be using this a accommodation on our next trip to Sydney

    3
    « OK hotel »

Positives: On multiple bus routes, comfortable bed. Staff mostly able to give travel advice. Negative: We weren't asked to pay the full balance on our room when we arrived and the next day they deactivated our room key because they wanted the remaining balance. Pool had no sun loungers, only chairs so it wasn't a place you could stay around. There was lots of noise at night but not from the highway. My room also had a constant high pitch electrical noise which was horrible.

    3
    « Road Noise »

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night only on route to Newcastle. The rooms were clean and tidy, a little old fashioned, but worked. The big issue I had was the rooms facing the pacific highway, were extremely noisy from road noise in peak traffic which in Sydney is most of the time. I recommend if you stay here ask for a room at the back as they would have to be much quieter than the one I stayed in at front of hotel.

    4
    « Big motel »

Stayed for one night! The room was spacious, two nice big beds. Tv was inside the cupboard which was a little annoying when you had to walk by and shut the doors. Fridge was really loud at night so thank goodness it was also in the cupboard. Get in early or you'll be parking at the other end of the car park. Lots of hotel rooms at this place. Vending machine for when you want a snack. Bed was comfortable. Thanks

    4
    « Second Stay »

Rooms at the back are amazingly quiet despite the hotel being on the busy Pacific Highway. Spacious room, charming décor, very clean. Walking distance from the RNSH which is helpful if you are not city-based, 1 restaurant (we could find) walking distance too, otherwise heaps of café/restaurants but a car is needed. Good restaurant, friendly waiter. Helpful housekeeping, fast check-in and out. Easy free parking. Things to improve? Our bar-fridge was very noisy, we had to switch it off at night and a body lotion option with the amenities would be great. It is our second stay in this hotel and at under $200 in Sydney, it will remain on our preferred list.

    3
« Dated but reasonable for price »

Stayed for two nights whilst attending workshop. Room was a good size but decor is dated, bed comfortable. Motel has an onsite restaurant but not open on weekends, 10-15 minute walk to St Leonards where there a couple of nice restaurants. Bathroom good size but needs a make over, nice towels. Room had a microwave but not plates or cultery. We has a room at the front of the complex and it was surprisingly quiet. Staff helpful.

    3
« gets the job done »

The best western is a no-frills hotel where you door opens into the parking lot however the room did come with a refrigerator And a water boiler and a TV. Sydney is just a short 20 minute bus ride away and the bus stop is right outside of the hotel which is very convenient. If you want luxury and amenities then this hotel is not for you however if you want a hotel for a short Stay to conduct business and also to go into Sydney to see the site then this hotel would be okay.

    3
« OK Price but very dated »

We spent 2 nights at the Twin Towers Best Western. We stayed in a front room that faced onto the pool &pacific highway. Road noise wasn't an issue but noise from the pool area did travel. Room was neat & tidy but very dated. Bathroom was old, tap fittings a bit of a dodgy job and water pressure pretty bad. Lots of pillows & a spare blanket. But bed was very uncomfy We did however get stuck in our room when the door jammed and would not budge. Had to have someone from reception come and bang the door open from the outside. (which is a major fire hazard) Handyman came and shaved the door frame back whilst we were out- but we came back to wood shavings all over the floor. Had to ask for it to be vacuumed. Overall ok if you;re looking for a cheap hotel for a short stay close to bus.

    « Good value »

We stay at this motel every year as my wife needs to visit the Royal North Shore Hospital. A good value clean motel with helpful staff. Just been renovated. Convenient to public transport and all attractions if you are visiting Sydney.

    4
« Lovely Staff, Very Helpful »

I have been at the twin towers for almost 3 weeks now with my husband and my 3yo. While the hotel isn't all that new or modern it's perfectly adequate and functional. The staff have gone out of their way to assist us with anything and everything possible and they're all very friendly. Only wish they had dinner available at the restaurant on weekends.

    4
    « GOOD LOCATION »

Had to visit for medical reason and the Twin Towers,Artarmon was the closest motel within walking distance of clinic. Priced around the $ 250-00 mark for both nights stay was very reasonable. The rooms were average but that is what you paid for. Staff were very helpful. A good cheap breakfast available also. Would stay again.

    2
« It does not meet my expectation of Best Western standards »

We booked this motel trusting the Best Western brand, but was a bit disappointed. This is an older facility, conveniently located not too far from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. WiFi connection is very slow and the water pressure for the shower is so bad that water is just dripping down. The room is so small just enough for the beds; there is no space to walk around, not to say any furniture for sitting.

    4
« Great hotel close to the main attractions »

The Twin Towers is a short bus ride from the main tourist attractions of Sydney. EThe rooms are well furnished with furnished with everything you need for a city break. One of the most comfortable beds i have slept in was also a great help. Very helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel. A $ 3.50 bus ride to the city. Great base highly recommended

    5
« Excellent quality for the price »

We were extremely pleased with the quality of the room for the price we paid. For a hotel in the North of Sydney we were expecting a very basic room for the price. The rooms were fantastic and very clean.

    5
    « Comfortable and roomy »

Quite a spacious room by Sydney standards. Staff member was very polite even though I had to use the night bell as I arrived well after midnight. He also gave me a very late checkout which I really appreciated. Room was on the lower level and very quiet, excellent for sleep.

    4
« Near Royal North Shore Hospital »

I stayed here for 3 nights while my partner was having an operation and if you walk to Campbell St via Reserve Ave it is shorter but at night it is a bit dark and when walking a loan feels a bit unsafe. Nice clean large rooms, with an ice machine in a handy spot. Meals available but a bit expensive. The hot water in the shower kept changing temperature and the heater in the room didn't heat the room enough (was cold most of the time), no TV guide for the Foxtel so only watched half a movie at a time as I didn't know when they were starting. Courtesy bus was only one way between 7.30am and 11am which didn't fit in that well. The rooms out the back are the quiet ones and it was nice to have wine glasses.

    4
« Solid No Fuss Accommodation »

Rooms are well appointed although not ultra modern with the rooms along the front a little noisier than the rest. These are usually the cheapest. Whilst there is a small pool most guests appear to be business people or couples there for a reason rather than just leisure. On a main road with a short public bus ride to a railway station or a slightly longer ride into the city.

    5
« Great location & facilities for 3 night stay »

I was visiting friends in the Northern suburbs and appreciated the easy vehicle access to Pacific Highway, Longueville Road etc. Public buses run from across the road into the City, Manly etc so I was able to go to Vivid Festival with no hassles. My room was lovely and very quiet (located on the lower level at the back). I had a small 'dressing room', a nicely refurbished bathroom, comfortable and spacious bedroom and a generously sized deck overlooking the bush. The free on-site parking was essential for me and there were always spaces available. Reception staff were helpful and friendly.

  • 3
    « Close to work »

First time staying here and found it to be fine. Nothing fancy, but clean and functional. I was down the back so pretty quiet, considering it is on the main road. Reasonably priced and does have Foxtel.

    3
« A bit dated but no problems. »

I was working at Gore Hill for a few days and needed to stay local. For the price this place is fine. It's a bit dated, but the rooms are spacious. Toilet and shower room is small but it all functions. Bed was comfy and well made. There is a balcony and fly screen door to let in the fresh air. It's also only a 20 mins walk to St Leonards train station downhill. The bar is odd but good for a quick beer. I think it is more for the restaurant. Breakfast was basic with all the classic continental ingredients but value for money and kept me full. I would stay again, but options are limited. Easy to check in and out. There is wireless if you need it, charged at a daily or weekly rate.

    3
« Plenty of free parking and located close to RNS Hospital »

Very friendly & polite reception for late check-in and obtaining an on-site parking space was easy. The back rooms are very quiet, despite the motel being right on the Pacific Highway. These rooms also have very pleasant views from a small balcony. However, the bed was very hard to the point of being very uncomfortable and the air conditioning had a nasty mould smell for the entire duration of its operation.

    5
« Great Place to Stay »

I stay at the Best Western Artarmon 7 to 10 times a year. The Rooms are great and Parking us very good. Good access to the City, Nth Sydney, Crows Nest and Chatswood. The Staff are vrry friendly. The Rooms are very Clean and well equipped.

    4
« Very Comfortable for Work & Study »

Staying here at present a few times a month for work, very comfortable and clean rooms. Great location for the TAFE at St Leonard's & Royal North Shore Hospital & Private Hospital. Has free WiFi which is great, Pool also here if needed. Restaurant offers dinners on some nights and breakfast. Parking off street is available. about a 15 minute walk to St Leonards train station Over all a well presented hotel

    4
« A little dated, but clean and cheerful »

I stayed here a couple of times while working out of our Artarmon office and found it to be a good value option. The layout and some of the decor betrays the hotel's age, but the facilities are good, the rooms clean, and the staff friendly. Special mention must go to the fellow who manages the breakfast - always a bright start to the day. At $12, the continental breakfast is also one of the most reasonably-priced I've experienced at Sydney hotels. It's also great to have free wi-fi, though the low strength of the signal in the rooms is a bit of a let-down. Despite the Pacific Highway location, I've had no issues with traffic noise and generally sleep soundly. Happy to continue staying here.

    « Good location »

Great place to stay for North Shore Hospitals, includes free shuttle service to both the public and the private hospitals Also a convenient free shuttle bus service from St Leonards Station with stops across the road from the motel, no need to take a car with regular train and bus services to Sydney CBD

« A good motel near the city »

I found this motel very good value located on the lower north side of Sydney Harbour. The rooms were clean and very well presented. There is ample parking off the Highway. We stayed in one of the rooms located at the back of the motel and could not hear any road noise at all during the night although being on a major highway. The room also had it's own balcony which was a bonus. The continental breakfast we had in the restaurant was ok and pretty well standard. Also there are buses from across the road into North Sydney and the city which saves time in looking for parking in the city as well as not having to pay the high prices for parking. Just ask reception for bus & train information. A very nice, conveniently placed motel to stay at, will definitely stay again.

« Cockroaches in the rooms »

The hotel room has cockroaches in it, not very hygienic. When requested a room change since there was 2 cockroaches in a short amount of time, the person in charge said no more rooms for the night. When requested for a refund, was told we could leave anytime but no money will be refunded. When I checked on the booking website said there was still room left, told the person who was dealing with it he pressed some buttons on the computer and said sorry all booked out. You can check now. Not very helpful and told us to call the booking agent. When the booking agent had a talk to them, then there was a room available. The rooms are completely different to the photos, very small. Would not recommend. The internet was very slow as well.

Great little motel. Very clean, helpful staff. Had day surgery at north Shore private, $6.50 cab fare from hospital. Rating is 4 stars I'd give it more. Definitely stay again. Had room at rear of property very quiet. Cheap stay for $155 per night (2 adults).

« Quiet and convenient and free parking! »

3 night stay booked and requested a quiet room at the rear of the property which was duly provided. Room was great - two queen beds, nice size bathroom, little fridge, etc. All good. Could have been a little cleaner - some dust and mould, but overall fine... linen spotless and good quality. Bonus, you could actually open the window and have some lovely fresh air! Location was excellent. Bus to Chatswood or the city at the door. $10 taxi from St Leonards railway station. Free parking - lots of it. Breakfast - continental buffet $12 had fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread, cold meat, cheese, coffee and an array of teas + attentive service. We weren't there at nights to test the restaurant for dinner but it was available Monday to Thursday. Reception very adequately dealt with a couple of queries we had. No complaints there. Would definitely stay here again.

    « Twice in a week! »

As out-of-towners with all our family in Sydney we've found our home away from home at this property. Our family had booked us in for a Saturday night to celebrate Grandad's 80th -- restaurant night in Sydney with our daughters and a wonderful brunch on Sunday morning organised by the grandkids. Sadly we had a family funeral on Wednesday, and of course we booked in here. They were kind enough to allow us in early, time to relax and change for the afternoon funeral - and happy to let us leave the car in the carpark on Sunday until we were dropped in the afternoon after the brunch. Great place for the pickups and dropoffs by the family --- so good to go out in Sydney and not to have to drive and park for these grandparents. We love the rooms at the front and the swimming pool is lovely, a pretty place to relax and so good to swim after a long drive. Great price, great staff, and really feel as if we've had a holiday when we spend time in Sydney!

« Nice, clean, spacious hotel »

We had a 3 night stay here, room clean and spacious bed comfortable. It's about 15 mins to st Leonard's train station then 30 mins ride to central so you are abit out of city. All restaurants and bars are near stvleonards train station. There is a restaurant and bar at hotel which is run by lovely friendly man worth chatting to. Pool area nice. Although on busy road we didn't hear much noise.

« Family friendly hotel plus »

Hotel was clean, comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. We had a lovely room down the back of the property. It was quiet apart from some noisy persons coming home in the late evenings. The housekeeping staff were friendly and did a great job. Location was great, within walking distance of St Leonards train station. The free parking at the hotel was a bonus. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again when visiting Sydney. Small negative, the bathroom needs to be updated. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

    « Mixed thoughts »

I was stayed here because I had an appointment in the area. I'm sure that most rooms were better positioned than mine but for a 4 star room I felt that I was in a service area under the main building with a noisy ice machine outside my door and service vehicles coming and going in the evening and early morning. It was an inexpensive room so I felt maybe that's why. Even so, I don't think the room should be rated 4 star. The room was furnished well and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom not so much. There were hairs on the floor and the corner between the shower and vanity was quite dirty.

    « Mixed blessings »

The good; Room at the back, staff service and location. The not so good; On this visit a very hard bed, rooms at the front are on the highway - noisy and exit, by car, back to the city is problematic. Sometimes parking can be a challenge when full but the property is well maintained.

    « Very convenient with on-site parking »

This motel was clean and quiet so no traffic noise was heard considering we were on the Pacific Highway. Staff at the front desk were pleasant and helpful but Wifi was intermittent. The breakfasts offered were over-priced and the one person who was looking after the breakfast room (cooking and serving?)was overwhelmed with orders so tables were left uncleared etc.

    « Christmas Holiday »

We booked this hotel for a stay over Christmas as it was very close to family members. It was our first visit to the hotel. Our three night deal was very reasonable when compared to hotels closer to the city. We asked for a room away from the traffic and were very happy with the room at the rear of the hotel, which also had a balcony. The room was very clean and comfortable. The various members of staff we met with during our stay were very pleasant and helpful. There is ample parking for travellers with cars. Public transport (bus) is at the door and connects with trains at St. Leonards station a short distance away. The hotel has a pool at the front of the premises.

    « Nice stay »

Recently stayed overnight on Melbourne cup night with some work colleagues. The service was friendly, rooms comfortable & clean & plenty of off street parking available. Have booked again for another overnight work related stay & found the over the phone booking process to be friendly & pleasant.

    « Great value & a comfy stay »

The buildings are not new but have been looked after very well & everything was spotless. It was surprisingly quiet, shower was AWESOME & everything worked as it should. Only downside was parking spaces aren't huge BUT we have a large vehicle. Staff were fantastic, we needed to extend our stay at the very last minute & nothing was too hard for them, they also stuck to the price we had paid for the first night as well. It was right in the middle of everywhere we needed to visit. We will stay here again when back in North Sydney & will recommend to all of our friends.

« Good value and well located »

This motel is excellent value considering its location. Rooms were clean, parking was close to the room. Nothing to complain about. The best feature was its overall value. Definitely compared well to anything in Sydney and I researched options well before hand.

    « Overnight »

Reasonable priced. Large room. Friendly& helpful housekeeping staff. Close to RNS hospital. Steep ramps between levels or many steep stairs! Difficult to access from main road, if not familiar with the area. Hard to park bigger 4WD vehicles.

    « Good »

Although it's situated on the highway we heard no traffic noise. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a little hard. Shower was good, lots of pressure in the morning. Staff are friendly. Heaps of parking. Although the hotel was full we heard little noise from the other rooms. Recommended and I'll be back.

    « Value for money »

Value for money, nice clean room, courteous staff. Convenient location. As it was a late notice booking we were fortunate to get a room close to our destination. Car was suitable for small to medium vehicles, but was definitely tight for larger , higher vehicles. Would stay again, very close to the royal north shore hospital.

« Comfortable, clean and roomy. »

We booked this motel at the last minute and could not be more pleased. The room was large, freshly painted, clean, comfortable bed. There was tea making facilities, digital TV, good bathroom. Very happy to recommend to anyone going to Sydney.
