Best hotel in Surrey. Rooms are clean. Friendly front desk. Good amenities. Manager Aman Singh is doing a great job. Very good options for breakfast. Free parking is a bonus. Great location....everything is close by... I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in this area

The hotel, rooms, the breakfast area and the pool area, all places were clean and tidy. The hotel staff was very attentive, the personnel were friendly and understanding. The internet was quite fast. There was a sufficient variety of options for breakfast, and all of them were delicious. We (parents and 2 children) were very satisfied with our 1 night stay.

We have stayed at this Best Western several times over the years and they never disappoint. We have brought my parents, my in-laws, and my kids here and they all loved it. The hotel is clean, has a great location, and all of the staff is wonderful. Aman in particular is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is quite good too. We always make it a point to stay here when we are traveling through Surrey.

We stayed here with our 2 year old for a wedding. The room was clean, room service was amazing for the week and every request we had did not go unanswered. The staff were amazing in assisting us during the whole experience and we felt feeling that we had absolutely zero complaints. I would stay here again and again!

Right where I needed to be and with available parking with access to the main road and near the places I needed to go to. The bed was comfortable and the cotton sheets were nice and cozy. The air conditioner was good as it heated the room in no time and there was a tv in the living room and in the bedroom.

This was a great place to stay. The staff are very respectful and the breakfast was decent. The location was perfect for me. My only recommendation is for the hotel to include a mix of other protein and not only pork protein.

The front desk was very prompt and made sure they gave me a high floor room in a quiet location as requested over the phone. Raj in the breakfast area was very attentive and even went out of her way to make my elderly mother a waffle! The rooms were clean, quiet, and had everything we needed.

All the staff are very accommodating and very pleasant. We stayed here for 2 nights. Surrey is one of the best places to live. The people we have met are all amazing. Thank you so much to Taran who is very dedicated to her job.

Very friendly staff, nice, comfortable and complete accommodations. Great Indian restaurant next door,B&B. The food and service was outstanding. The town of Surrey was very friendly and safe to explore by walking.

This was a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were nicely furnished and clean, and it was located close to the hospital where we came to visit a family member. There was a microwave and small frig, and located near Superstore so we got everything we needed there. I definitely would stay there again.

Very neat and tidy ambience of rooms no matter what kind of room you are booking and washrooms are always well maintained with all required products which makes your bagging life easy of caring all such things like soap, oil, cream etc…

We got to the hotel on sept 1, the front desk went above and beyond with us , offered the best rates and an upgrade as well. Highly recommend everyone to come here. Wanted to mention also that the staff was always smiling , lovely energy , really felt comfortable dealing with them, we ended up extending our stay a week without thinking twice about the overall of the hotel. Also Taran who's the person responsible for the set up of breakfast was amazing , made sure everything is clean and ready no matter how many ppl walked in the area. If you want to be more than happy with the treatment , experience, rates , breakfast and over all stay , you definitely should visit these guys. 100% every time I come to be BC this will be my go to spot going forward.

Our first hotel canceled my 15 rooms reservations 12 days before our competition. Management from BW King George was kind and work hard to accommodate our group on a really short notice. Would recommend for any group reservation. 5/5 will go again if we get more tournaments in Surrey.

When you are looking for an inexpensive hotel for an over night trip with kid's my only hope is a clean quiet room. This hotel definitely accomplishes that. Breakfast is decent. Staff is nice. Facilities all seem to be as they should. Bedroom ac is very cold. Beds are comfortable.

We came here in Aug 2023 for a fun weekend away with our kids. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was so clean and well stocked. Pool was perfect for two small kids. Breakfast was great for a quick bite in the morning - the kids loved the waffle machine! We had to leave early due to wildfires in our area, and the staff were more than accommodating to help us out. Definitely recommend!!!

I had the pleasure of having an extended stay at this hotel. The staff right from the first day of my stay treated me like family. This hotel's staff always have a smile, and welcome you at the end of your day! The hotel was clean and was well equipped. In house coin laundry was very convenient. At the end of a long day there is a welcoming pool and hot tub to relax. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area!

I have been a regular guest at this hotel both for business and pleasure, for the last 5 years plus. The hotel management and staff always go out of their way to accommodate me and provide me and my family with the best service possible. The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the hot breakfast is excellent. This is an unbeatable location with easy access to Vancouver, YVR, and the US.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the best western! Thanks to the staff who made our trip extra special. We were so surprised at how great a stay we had! The location was perfect! Staff were exceptional! The cleanliness of the property was fantastic. The only thing I would suggest is a few more options for breakfast. Apart from that I couldn't fault our stay.

This was one of the best hotels experiences I have had. The rooms are decent. The amenities are clean and tken care of. The staff are all helpful and pleasant. My bed was a little.firm for my old bones but the room was clean. Was a good central.location for what we were doing. The staff the coffee and the waffles are some of the best I have had from a hotel. The serve the breakfast until 10am which makes may sleepy head extra happy. Overall a good value considering location and comfort of stay.

Really loved this place!! Hotel and suites were super clean and smelled amazing, even the hotel lotion was superb! Huge continental breakfast that had many more choices than we had the time to eat. Amazing pool and hot tub for the kids to explore after a long day of volleyball. The staff even gave each of the girls a specialized goodie bag with inspirational quotes. They truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend this spot! well done : )

I recently had an extended stay at this hotel, and I cannot rave about the staff enough. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed to feel at home, and that I felt safe. This was my first big travel on my own, and my first visit in Vancouver; I was so full of anxiety and stressed but they made me so comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in staying here. The staff are unbelievably amazing.

The hotel was very clean and our room (suite) layout was very good as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast and breakfast room were well laid out so that you could get at items without crowding.

I made a mistake on dates in my reservation that was none refundable and they went out of their way to accomodate me. They didn't have to help but in the end everything turned out. Best Western is the best.

I was travelling alone so booked just a single room and was surprised to find a secondary room for sitting/computing/television watching (with a 2nd large screen television in bedroom as well) Suite clean and well stocked. Staff very friendly and helpful. Safe location - ventured out in evening, walking to nearby restaurant. Walking distance to several shops/restaurants. Bus stops nearby with at least one bus going directly to train station which greatly opens up rapid transit to much larger radius.

Hotel was very nice to stay in, in a busy area of Surrey, central to restaurants, shops, etc. Beautiful view of the mountains and downtown. Hotel lobby is fairly small, but very well kept. Breakfast was minimal, but coffee was delicious.

This location was difficult to drive to as you always had to be driving on the west side of the road, or drive around the block to get on the west side of the road. The area is a bit dodgy and you have to drive many blocks away to get to a restaurant or shopping. The room size is good and the bedding is nice. TVs are a bit small considering the sizes now available. The "business" room is non-existent, the breakfast is basic, the pool is maybe 25' long by 15' wide and the gym is the size of a bedroom.

Terrible night, bed was noisy, made a thump every time I moved. Bathroom doors squeaky. Light not working. But the clincher was the bathtub drain or lack of draining. Came off a two day motorcycle ride, looking forward to hot shower. The drain was plugged completely, I found myself in shin deep bath water. I unscrewed the drain plug and removed a large amount of long hair, several colours (not mine, I have very short hair). The drain still wouldn't drain. Finished best I could. I don't think anyone would be okay with this, absolutely disgusting. I went to reception and was told to come back in the morning. I did that and was told to come later. I did that, finally found a manager. After explaining myself for the third time, I was offered some point, not acceptable, was then offered $25.00, not acceptable. Then another manager stepped up and offered $60.00 off, still acceptable, I asked for 50% reduction and was told - no way that was going to happen. I emailed head office nine day ago, no response. So my response to that is to leave this review. I also tried to leave a review on the Best Western web site but could not find anywhere to do so. We stayed here in August 2022. The hotel is well located for events in Surrey, Vancouver but it is a very basic hotel with inflexible staff. There are no communal areas, bars, restaurants etc. Breakfast is served in a very basic school canteen style where very basic food is available. Staff say no to all requests and stick to providing a minimum service. Carpets are dirty. If you don't need to be in Surrey, I would avoid this hotel.

Couldn't tell you enough how awesome the staff is here , I travel a lot for work and have been to many hotels , Aman at the front desk is great, and also the best dressed man in surrey , loved my stay here

The overall from me is Excellent . Ask for Taran, the hostess in the Breakfast Room. She'll give you the best and friendliest service ever - a class act. I rate the breakfast room as the best food and service in town.

Needed a hotel to stop at passing through the border on my way to a camping trip with the kids. Found a decently priced room for the night. I didn't have high expectations, however the staff made me feel comfortable and provided some extra snacks upon check out for the kids for the rest of our travels. That was AWESOME! The room was clean, great water pressure, didn't hear other guests, amenities for what I forgot and most importantly, a clean, comfy bed with comfy pillows!

I enjoyed my stay, this BW is very nice. The staff were super-friendly and the room was in excellent condition. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their service and amenities. I think this is a good place to book for a longer term stay.

Good hotel in Middle of New Panjab/Surrey BC. Ticks all boxes. Clean & Comfortable , Good Wifi, Good Size rooms. Good AC. Free self Parking. Good cost/Value package. Very helpful & attentive staff. Good area. Many local amenities. Liquor store+ subway opp hotel. Pool & Gym small & we did not use. A sauna/steam wouldve been Good & cost is minor for hotel Plenty Malls Nearby walking & drive within 0.5miles on King Geoge Blvd Wierd Canadian Laws ; Must buy beer& spirits Only from LIquor store(s) not nearest Supermarket. something Historical i suppose Free Breakfast( Typical Scrambled Eggs(from Bottle; I hate) Hard boiled costs slightly more & rather healthier ( than bulk mix egg). Bacon Typical USA. Fountain Juices/Odd fruits I Booked 4 nights cheaply long ago., Tried booking 7 more closer to High season & prices higher than Sheraton (Guildford) nearby but they added parking. I`d have prefer to Stay here If we visit again:Quite likely i will book same hotel

Ford F-150 of hotels. I have stayed here now for over 30 days over 3 trips in past year which is a recommendation in itself. I say this as a compliment but this is the Ford F-150 of hotels. It gets the job done with no major frills. Efficient, reliable with helpful, friendly staff who make you feel welcome particularly Sav and Aman on the front desk. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It's not a destination hotel (i.e. not for honeymoon couples etc and there are no chandeliers to wow you over) but it works as a nice clean comfortable place to sleep. Breakfast is simple but feeds you and the waffle maker is nice. There are good amenities nearby inc gas station opposite. Downsides are the internet is slow to point of being not useful at all (please upgrade) , there can be traffic noise on one side as it is by the highway and the Surrey ambulances like to drive past hard, loud and fast 24/7 on their way to Surrey Memorial Hospital (it's actually quite impressive how hard they go for it) and would recommend they put a bell on the front desk for when reception staff are in the back office. Would stay again and recommended as a place to rest your head.

The room had very poor air ventilation. The windows could not be opened and we could smell the old food from the previous guests because there was no air circulation. The air got trapped in the second part of the suite which is very dangerous for viruses to spread. I think this is a health and safety issue and should be addressed immediately.

We stayed for three nights, needed to change our dates, and yet the staff were always polite and professional. From the front desk people who worked to be helpful, even when some of their guests were rude to them, or Taran who kept the breakfast room running while answering questions from guest, we were impressed by the consistant care the staff showed.

We were greeted by a man at the desk named Aman and he was so gracious as we told him we were having a long/difficult day at the passport office. Once we returned from finding out we wouldn't be able to make our flight that night, he went into the back and gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate receiving our passport. Very clean and well layed out rooms. A fantastic hotel with a good price point near the heart of Surrey. The breakfast service goes above and beyond. Way better then expected. Breakfast attendant 'Taran was extremely welcoming, helpful and ridiculously great with children! A true highlight of the stay.

Questionable practices and deplorable customer service from manager have angered this Diamond select member to the point of changing hotel brands. As customers we have choices, I strongly recommend making a different one. I'm moving my entire team to a different brand.

We booked four rooms because of pool, hot tub and great location for getting around the city. The pool was closed even though we had specifically asked about it beforehand. Our five grandchildren were not pleased. We did manage to use it on our last night. That is not the norm there as we have stayed multiple times and the experience has always been good. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. I have to mention Taran, the wonderful breakfast lady. As far as continental breakfasts go this one is very good. Taran treats everyone and especially kids like family.

Pool not maintained for several years, so keeps breaking, not informed before check-in. Called the hotel approximately 30 hours before arrival and told it was working, employee at hotel said it had been broken for days. Waiting for manager to contact us. Employees at breakfast were very friendly. Mismatched furniture, very high beds, unsafe windows, bathroom needs renovation. Expensive for what you get.

We ended up here somewhat by accident because most other hotels closer to where we were doing things were full on a Saturday night. Nice large room with a fridge and couch, and extremely comfortable mattress and pillows. Friendly front desk staff. Would stay here again.

Very comfy beds, TV worked great, good for Pokemon as there is a stop next door and a Gym just down the street. Nice selection of food at the breakfast downstairs, loved the sausages, staff was friendly.

Required a last minute Hotel Stay. Called the Hotel and booked a room. Rooms are very nice. The beds are very comfortable and a very nice sleep. Prices is average, but I suppose it could be that it was a last minute booking.

This is a wonderful place to stay. We always choose this hotel because of the cleanliness and friendly helpful staff. We come here especially for Taran. She greets you every morning for your first cup of coffee and breakfast. We hadn't been here in two years because of Covid. When we booked the first thought we had was we sure hope Taran still works there. When we arrived and went down for breakfast there she was and she remembered us as well. We sure hope management recognizes her and looks after her very well.

We have stayed in this hotel multiple times. They have good breakfast… especially their waffles that my kids love. No Milk though. Overall, a decent hotel, not very clean though. But, okay for a quick night stay while traveling.

Stayed here during summer, the room was located on the ground floor, very silent area no disturbance. It was a family trip and this hotel was very user friendly. clean rooms, microwave was in the room as well, available laundry room for guest which was pretty helpful. Covid measures were in place so we had to bring breakfast to our rooms. The lady serving breakfast named Taran was very accommodating and helpful to our request. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely stay here in the future.

An older hotel but clean, offering parking but not under cover which makes life al little difficult in -23C we have been experiencing over Christmas this year. Certainly the more affordable and convenient hotels in the Newton area of Surrey

Check-in was fast and the room was clean. The bed had a very good firm mattress. The room is dated (limited charging slots in the bedroom, old fashioned toilet paper resistance holders) but has everything you need. The internet was good. Access to the hotel grounds is a pain if you are coming from the south. Overall, an okay hotel but nothing special.

This Hotel is always a great stay. Front desk staff are always very friendly and helpful. it is close to all sorts of great businesses, and the price is reasonable. Stay at this location never have never been disappointed. Rooms are clean, great breakfast, one of the staff TARAN, in breakfast room was so manageable and polite with guests to serving.

Stayed for 4 nights while in BC. Staff were friendly and service was fine. Decor and bathroom are a little outdated compared to other Best Westerns that I've stayed but it was clean. Got the kitchenette for kids while we were there, useful but not necessary since they gave free breakfast. Pool and pool room were cold - 1 hour time limit via reservation. I would've stayed closer to Northern Vancouver or Richmond though if I go back.

I was in Surrey for a business trip and had a great experience at this hotel. Good service all around, especially from Taran serving breakfast. Clean rooms. Good service. Good location. Also good precautions regarding covid and safety. I would recommend.

This Hotel is always a great stay. Rooms are clean, great breakfast, and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. it is close to all sorts of great businesses, and the price is reasonable. I prefer to stay out of the downtown area, and stay at this location and have never been disappointed.

It was clean. The front desk was nice. There was cookies and water in the front. Pool was clean. Breakfast served by Taran was excellent. She was always helpful and went beyond the call of duty to make sure things were just right with our requests. Way to go Taran!

This Best Western is an absolute gem for anyone traveling to the area. The front desk staff are top class, especially the manager Shawn. When the owners are around, they are friendly and helpful. You can tell that pride of ownership means something at this establishment. The rooms have always been clean, roomy, and comfortable over the 6+ times I've stayed here. There is also everything you would want: coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, TVs, fitness center, pool, breakfast, etc. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, this is one of the best deals in all of BC!

First off a big thank you to the managers Amen and Esir, they were so helpful and kind during our stay. 6 families in total in our group staying at the hotel for a soccer tournament. Both Amen and Esir did an exceptional job to ensure our stay was enjoyable and that our expectations where met. Breakfast service was great with good options especially for the kids. Indoor pool was perfect for the kids and they had a blast. Overall hotel was great however because of Aman and Esir I would highly recommended this hotel to anyone and would have no issues returning to this hotel. Thank you for the great customer service and experience.

I'm not sure I've stayed at a hotel with such a nice, friendly, professional staff. Great people and culture here who take pride in every detail. We stayed for a sports event and were all treated very well. I'm seriously impressed!

We spent one night at best Western Surrey. During our stay, carbon monoxide alarm went off. They addressed our concerns to our satisfaction. The location is perfect, especially in Surrey. There are many restaurants, and businesses nearby for convenience.

Most hotels offer the same amenities but it's the staff that make the difference for a great stay. Best Western and this location scores 100% on service with me. All the staff were friendly but specifically the lady serving breakfast made me feel welcome and appreciated. The hotel was very clean and comfortable as usual with Best Western.

Long term stay of about 7 months. Great service from all employees, but too pick a few that go that extra mile I will mention Amon at the front desk, chatty, friendly and helpful, also another Amon in housekeeping, if she cleaned your room you knew it, immaculate everytime. Joy on night shift, courteous and always on the move, cleaning or doing something productive. Now too Taran that does the breakfast and other tasks, she is fantastic to greet you in the morning, always happy and cheerful, great worker and strives to do her job above and beyond, if I owned a hotel she would be first on my list to hire. Every time we make a trip to Vancouver we stay at this hotel and it is an amazing experience every time. The guys at the front counter were extremely nice. And the Taran one of the workers were very considerate and polite.

The Management is friendly and helpful if your issue is genuine. When I booked the hotel, it was mentioned that pool and jacuzzi will be opened but when reached at the hotel and was informed that it is closed and with few minutes discussion I was offered two option one was to get arrange other hotel by them or reduced price, I took the second one.

I have been using this hotel for stay past few months and extremely happy with their service on the counter and especially the breakfast department where Taran Kaur does extremely great service each day. I Thanks all the hotel staff and owner for the wonderful service they provide. Nav, the hotel assist manager had been good all the time. Thank you all the staff services.

We were very surprised with this hotel due to the location. It was safe, secure, easy to get around the area. Covid aware and very clean! The service from all the staff was above and beyond, the young lady that serviced our breakfast was very pleasant and friendly. The cleaning staff on our floor (2nd) were very friendly, cheerful. The front desk was another area where they were quick and pleasant. We definitely will stay there again on our next trip to White Rock/Surrey

The costumer service was wonderful. Taran served breakfast to us and she always kept a positive tone and helped us. She was there whenever we required more food, and she was ready to help. Would recommend for others to go here and get Taran's help. Wonderful hotel would love to go again.

Three night business trip Jun 22nd to 25th! The front desk staff during my stay were super helpful, friendly and professional. Each morning I took advantage of the ‘take away' breakfast and had a lovely, diligent and professional server, her name was Taran! Thank you Taran for making my stay even more enjoyable!

This hotel is not too far from Surrey Memorial, we were there for family health issues. The staff treated us very well. I would definitely stay there again. Everything was always clean. Some street noise but had great sleeps.

Stayed here for work. Room was clean, affordable, quiet. Staff I did interact with were very friendly and polite. Hotel shower had good pressure on the top floor and all hotel room amenities worked well.

The service person was excellent in helping me find a room in short notice. He was also very kind and helpful. The room itself, was also very quiet considering it was near a very busy street. Overall, it was a great stay.

I was very pleased with the service I've got at this best western especially with Taran the wonderful breakfast lady she did bacon when I asked and it was perfect! Also we had a problem with the heating in our room and they accommodated us. I recommend to pass by this hotel.

I am a frequent traveller and this was my first stay at this hotel. It's a decent hotel to stay and the staff is amazing. The rooms were cleaned properly. Had a great stay with my family for 5 nights at the King George Best Western. Staff was friendly and all had their masks on and social distanced. The daily breakfast was good with some options, and served my a friendly lady. Will definitely be staying there again.

A nice comfortable space with ample room. Has all the amenities you'd need.Staff was great during check-in, room was ready before my arrival time I'd given.It was a great place for a quiet relaxing sleep. We stay at best western often, and really enjoy the location at 8033 King George. The staff are amazing and very curious, especially Taran. We really appreciate her friendliness and professionalism. The entire staff will make your stay great!

We have been staying at this location for 11 years when we come to town to visit our daughter. The staff are always friendly and efficient from the front desk staff to housekeeping to the breakfast attendant Taran. The rooms are always clean and breakfast is always good and hot. The central location makes it easy for shopping and area attractions.

I have stayed at this location previously due to its proximity to Surrey Memorial Hospital but this was my first hotel stay since the start of the pandemic. The physical protocols, superb cleanliness and sincere attention of the staff made me feel completely at ease. It was a very comfortable stay.

I have stayed at this property on several occasions in the last couple of years for up to 4 weeks at a time and I have been satisfied with everything even through all of the conditions imposed by government and the Best Western chain. The staff is always courteous, helpful and accommodating.

Just a quick overnight on Aug. 15/16 and everything was great. Smooth checkin by Nav, super comfy bed, quiet room away from King George much appreciated and capped off by a tasty breakfast courtesy of everyone's favourite breakfast host Taran. I'll be back.

I was supposed to stay at this place for a few months but when I realized that their rooms had one AC unit in the bedroom and none in the kitchen/living room i complained. Management was awful and tried to sugar coat the situation by saying they would look at it the following day. I said there was no need to look at it and that there was a need for a second AC in the place and Nav the manager phoned the group who booked the room for me and tried to circumvent and screw me but little did he know I had written an email long before he did that. I wouldnt stay at this hotel if it was the last place in Surrey. The room doors have no seals and the privacy is minimal as such. Everything in the place including the plastic cups (yes they have no glassware in the kitchenettes) are of cheap poor quality. Rent an airbnb or something elsewhere cause this place sucks.

it was a great place to stay, great staff, very helpful, I would stay here again, and recommend my friends and family to stay there, location is great, close to everything, they even offer tooth brush and shaving cream, which is rare!

I would certainly recommend this hotel to everyone. we were in British Columbia for a week and stayed at different hotels in our travels. Best sleep the whole week .The bed was the most comfortable. Room was very clean. very quiet as well

The place was very clean and definitely followed the government guidelines for social distancing and desinfecting properties for the safety of the customer. The bedroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. One of the best hotel that I have been to.

The management staff at the Best Western on King George Blvd in Surrey have the best customer service I have ever experienced! We stay for business and the staff have done their best to look after myself and our crew! The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious, kitchenettes are excellent!

My wife and I have stayed here twice now. We have enjoyed our stays here both times. We had the queen room with two queen beds. The room is very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There is a pool but we have not used it. They offer complimentary breakfast but we usually sleep in. There is coffee and juice available all the time in the breakfast room. Quite simply this hotel will meet your needs and it is reasonably priced. There is a Mac's convenience store 50 m away if you need something.

The concierge staff was very courteous and efficient. Check-in was quick and painless. They suggested local activities for us because we were visiting from out of town. One particular housekeeper, Amandeep, went out of her way to make our stay more comfortable. We had a messy situation our first night and she cleaned it up with no complaints. And she always had a wonderful smile for us. Whenever we visit Surrey we will definitely stay at the King George.

The staff at the best western are all wonderful and respectful people, especially Amandeep who has been doing a fabulous job keeping the hotel room in tip top order. I do recommend popping by for a stay.

Traveled with family (hotel is child-friendly, travelled with a 3-yr old). Room is clean, non-smoking. Great A/C. Generous with the toiletries. Breakfast is included in your stay. Great location (close to Costco, RC Superstore, Central City Mall, Skytrain access is one bus ride away, restaurants for eating out). Hotel keeps the breakfast area open 24/7 for anybody who likes to get a tea or hot/cold water and for access to their business computers. They also keep some fruits like banana or apple and cold water by the side of the front door for guests to enjoy (little things that we've appreciated) as they are about to leave for the day. Express check-out option for customers (they print your receipt/invoice the day of your check out and leave under your room door). Kudos to all the staff for a wonderful service.

The hotel is a nice one but located in the worst part of the province.Surrey is the worst area for crime and isnt getting ant better.Do not leave anything in your car day or night and if you are lucky your car will still be ther in the morning.I have lived in BC for 61 years and it has always been like this

It was very nice to to stay at this hotel from 1st Feb -15th Feb 2020. It is close to everything (food , shopping) . All the staff members are very nice and ready to help you anytime .Breakfast is great and Taran does a wonderful Job on serving everyone here and make you feel at home. We enjoyed our stay. - Kamna

I have stayed in alot of hotels over the years and some were even best western but I can honestly say this one was one of the best. We went to Surrey for a bowling tournament and they gave us a great rate for our rooms to start. We arrived and the hospitality began with cookies and fruit in the lobby coffee was always on. We went to go outside to the vehicle to get some stuff and it was raining and they offered us umbrellas so we wouldn't get wet. The hide a bed wasn't very comfy for our friend but that was the downfall. The shower was actually pretty good which is odd they usually have no pressure but this one did. We got up the next morning and went downstairs for breakfast and I asked the young lady working Taran if they had gluten free bread and yes they did made my day and it was actually good gf bread. She also had gf blueberry muffins again awesome. Sunday morning before we left again she is trying to feed me gf muffins and she was just as pleasant as could be made the stay that much better. We were in town for eye surgery for an elder member of the family. Priscilla was very friendly, informative and efficient on our reservation and check in. She exceeded all expectations later when she served us bottled water at the hot tub. This was on her own accord and we we very grateful. Taran was very attentive to our elder member at breakfast especially on a busy morning when she found a table for us and prepared and served a waffle to our elder. She was very pleasant to talk with. The rooms were very comfortable and we we were happy to have a refrigerator, microwave oven and a coffee maker in the room. A special thank you to the cleaning staff for the obvious attention to detail.

We had a late check in and it was dine in a breeze. Had a comfortable night's sleep and breakfast girls were awesome. They made sure we had everything we needed and felt that they wanted to ensure that every guest is comfortable. Thank you folks. An affordable place in an excellent location in Vancouver!

Very nice room and friendly staff. Taran in the breakfast room went out of her way to help us. What a nice lady. Breakfast was excellent and the area was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend the food to all my friends. The room was very quiet for a light sleeper like myself.

Had our hockey team there, after a win entering lobby we were asked to calm our kids down and they asked leave the pool early prior to closing. While my kids were swimming two men were hot tubing in there underwear and changed right there in the pool area infront of my children. Just not really a kid friendly place, staff were nowhere to be found

Very thankful to stay at this hotel, I work near the port and have my sleeps here and I love the breakfasts here. Taran does a wonderful Job on serving everyone here at the Best Western in Surrey. Come on by and enjoy your stay as well.

I stayed here 1 night. Staff were friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was included however I didn't take advantage it it. I also noticed cookies in the lobby. It's the little things that can make a difference. I would stay here again.

Special shout out to Taran who was a sweetie and made sure I had a great breakfast :) The hotel is nicely located in surrey so close to vancouver but not in the middle of the chaos and traffic. Its a small facility, but rooms are large and comfortable.

The breakfast was extremely good and the food service was very nice by Taran and there was a lots of choices like the both veg and non vegetarian and the fresh fruits too so that makes your breakfast healthy and delicious .The staff is also very helpful and respectful.I will recommend other person to visit it once so that they can enjoy their trip .

We arrived at Best Western late on a cold winter's night. After struggling through the door laden with luggage, we were struck by the welcoming atmosphere of the fire warmed reception, and the very helpful service from NAV. Though the lift was somewhat rickety, once we got to our rooms and lay on the very comfortable beds, we felt at home. Together with the very pleasant pool and hot tub, the complimentary hot breakfast, and reception condiments consisting of fruit, cookies, and ice lemon water really helped us feel at home. The only little draw back is the laundry is located close to guest bedrooms so cannot be used after 10.00 pm at night.

Added an extra night, asked if I could pay up front, and was told by the front desk clerk to pay upon checkout. The last day, I got a phone call when I was already out with a friend saying that because I hadn't paid in advance, I had one hour to be back at the hotel before my belongings were packed up and moved. We had to cut our visit short to go back to the hotel and pay, even though I had offered to pay when I had booked the extra night and was told not to worry about it. It was embarrassing and inconvenient to have to ask my friend to drive me back across town just to clear up a financial matter. I would not recommend this location because of that experience.

During a recent stay, the management and staff of the Best Western King George Inn and Suites couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. They bent over backwards to ensure our family were supported during a difficult stay. Management were always available, staff were kind and generous and overall, we couldn't have chosen a better spot. We were at Best Western today.The breakfast was amazing.The servers Taran and Manjit did great service and were courteous and welcoming to everyone.The taste of cooked food was good.I would suggest to definitely try their breakfast.

Front desk has amazing staff, super friendly, courteous and helpful. The house cleaning staff are effecient and accommodating. Lots of amenities within safe walking distance: restaurants, gyms, convienence stores- even an amazing barber shop next door.

The staff was great and the breakfast staff Taran and Simar are always there to help with what ever you need. The rooms are clean but there was a little issue with people and noise in the night in the hallways.

Even though I had made a mistake with my booking they did everything they could to help me and fix it. Shawn at the front desk was very kind and understanding. I'm so thankful for the awesome service and especially since I arrived late with two kids that were both tired and hungry.

I had a schedule change up after I booked my later dates and called the hotel directly to see if they could accomadate my request. I was lucky enough that there was a room or two still available, and I was able to aquire more points because of this added trip. The staff here are extreamely friendly and I would recommend this hotel to everyone (we have been here many times and it does not disapoint)

We enjoyed our 5 night stay there. Breakfast was delicious. The girls, Taran and Liliana were excellent. Always ready to help make the waffles and anything else you needed. I loved this hotel. Easy to find. Easy to park. The interior is very clean, and maintained. There is a lot of staff to maintain the place. They don't short staff. That shows in the cleaning of the rooms, the cleanliness of the breakfast room. I really loved the unlimited use of the juice and coffee bar in the breakfast room. If I was thirsty in the evening. There was lots of choices to quench that thirst in the evenings. The pool, hot tub and weight room gave a feel of cleanliness and was very pleasant to use. I will be back, and after all, isn't that the best review a client can give. With all the choices out there, saying I will be back, says alot. " I will be back."

The staff here are great! Good location. Breakfast is also great. Taran and Liliana were so accommodating for my gluten free diet. They were more than happy to serve us in the breakfast room. Great work Liliana and Taran. Front desk staff were also so friendly and willing to supply our needs.

I just spent 3 nights at the Best Western King George Inn & Suites. As always the service from check in to check out was great. This hotel suits my needs, free parking, internet and breakfast. The rooms are clean and modern. I was given a late check out on the last day which was great considering I had a midnight flight. I will be back on my next trip.

We stayed at this Best Western for 4 days. The staff made us feel welcome from the time we checked in. Breakfast was the typical Best Western Continental Breakfast, but again, the staff exceed in service and friendliness what you can typically expect in a hotel. We had a suite with a fridge, oven and microwave, ideal if you want to prepare a little snack. Rooms were kept clean and overall we had a great experience.

We were in Surrey for a family function. Stayed at the hotel for a week. Room was always clean and neat, staff helpful and friendly, and convenient to our needs. Excellent selection for breakfast. We would definitely return.

Staff is friendly and helpful (stored our luggage in the morning of our arrival, and during the afternoon of our departure). Hotel is not far from Bear Creek Park and the Surrey Art Gallery. Good breakfast, and our room had a kitchenette with all the utensils and dishes needed to prepare and eat a meal.

This hotel have very good staff from reception to kitchen. They were all very friendly, always ready to help. The breakfast was excellent. You can come around for drinks or apple all through the day. Some kitchen staff will go extra step to make you comfortable. We also use their complimentary service for printing. The exceptional staff overshadows any downside.

We had water damage in our home and had to be displaced for about three weeks. We needed to be close to our home and work. Best Western King George Inn & Suites was only about four city blocks and that is why we chose it. We were not disappointed. No matter the time of day or evening that we came back, the staff always greeted us with a smile and a greeting. Breakfast was included in the price of our room. The room was reasonably priced so the breakfast was a bonus. It did not disappoint. Fresh hot items every day, bacon or sausages, eggs and waffles. Real butter!! Baked goods were always fresh and abundant. To top off the excellent breakfast, our servers, Taryn & Lilliana went out of their way to make the experience pleasant & enjoyable, always greeting us with a smile! We would not hesitate to recommend this establishment. The security measures are also to be commended. We did not feel we had to concern ourselves with the safety of our vehicles. We are thankful to have this type of accommodation in our neighbourhood and we thank them.

Stayed recently to visit with family in the area. Check in was fast and staff friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well appointed. Where this hotels shines is the breakfast. The breakfast room staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful. The food was constantly refilled. I observed several times when the guests wanted waffles but were unsure of the process they stepped in to make them and deliver them to the table. They were attentive, polite and friendly. I looked forward to seeing them every morning.

Great suits bedroom. the pool and the hot tube are perfect after a hard day of work. all the personnel is very nice, with smile and try as far as they can to give you the best for your stay. This was our second stay at this hotel in 5 years and we will book with this hotel again when in the area. It is well situated to access, especially with a vehicle, places in Surrey and surrounding cities. Providing rooms with full kitchens at a reasonable price is also a bonus for longer stays and when traveling with food. The staff is very friendly and does their best to help out.

Our visit was brief, but the beds were comfortable, pillows great, room clean with many amenities. Breakfast was a wealth of choices. Taran and Liliana were sweet and friendly; keeping the breakfast area clean and well stocked. Should we be back in the area, I would choose to stay here again.

We were there for a trip we organised in BC, Canada. We spent 4 days at this place and truly enjoyed our experience there. Customer service was awesome and friendly. They answered all of our questions about the area. The pool and spa were clean, though the spa was a little hot on one occasion. The food was replenished quickly. The room was clean. If you don't mind being a little was out of downtown this is a perfect spot.

It is a very nice place to stay. Very clean, quiet and tastefully decorated. You can count on a restful night there. Good continental breakfast, with very helpful staff. Particularly Taran and Liliana were friendly and pleasant to communicate every morning.

We stayed at the BW for 4 days over Thanksgiving and had a great stay. The buffet breakfast was more than we expected! My son is glutenfree and everyday Taran or one of the other servers would personally bring him GF bread and muffins! In addition they had scrambled eggs, bacon, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, milk and soya milk, yogurt, bread, pastries and a waffle machine. Staff were attentive and courteous. Well be back on our next family stay in Surrey.

We were searching for a hotel room in Surrey. We stopped at Best Western King George Inn and Suites and although they didn't have a room available Shawn and Jennie-Lynn took the time out of their busy day to call around and find us a room at a different hotel. We so appreciated how kind and helpful they were. This experience made us look for Best Westerns to stay at on the remainder of our trip. Exemplary service and kindness that was so appreciated.

I have tried several other hotels in the area, but BW King George Inn & Suites is my first choice every time now. Clean, nice decor, friendly and helpful staff on the front desk, nice pool, jacuzzi and workout center, good central location, plenty of secure parking. Great complimentary hot breakfast in the morning.

We booked a standard double queen room. It was spotlessly clean & very quiet. The front reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful. My husband was I'll from a medical procedure. We were immediately booked early into an extremely quiet room. Housekeeping was still working in the floor, very friendly and quiet. My husband later craved popcorn, which wasn't available in the vendor machines however front desk staff located a complimentary bag. The beds are very comfortable with lots of pillows, fridge & microwave provided. Kerig coffee machine has large cups and complimentary hot water, coffee & tea are available in lobby along with complimentary fruits such as bananas & apples, various large coikies, and ice cold lemon water. Check in was swift & we opted for the express check out, which was extremely convenient. Complimentary breakfast included hot scrambed eggs, bacon, make your own waffle, yoghurts, juices, cereals, fresh fruit, muffins, pastries, hot coffee & water for tea. The breakfast room was immaculately clean & constantly restocked right up to 10 am. The hotel has been updated and it's location is extremely convenient. I highly recommend Tasty Indian Bistro for dinner, for excellent Indian food. It's a short 10 min drive from the hotel. Parking at the hotel was ample, well lit and very convenient.

Helpful and friendly staff make this a great place to stay. The breakfast selection is good too and served until 1000 which is nice when you are on vacation and don't want to get up too early! It isn't fancy and the area isn't posh but I felt safe which is a good thing these days.

My husband, daughter and I arrived September 19th, for a four night stay, attending a family wedding in Mount Vernon Washington. The hotel was close enough to the airport, Vancouver and our venue, acting as an easy starting base for exploring the cities. Not only is the establishment well laid out with plenty of free parking and a lovely pool, the rooms are cleaner than many higher end hotels we've frequented. The breakfast buffet was an added bonus, offering variety in their menu. All the staff we encountered were professional and friendly. As we travelled throughout the hotel, we noticed areas were constantly being cleaned and maintained. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this Best Western hotel if visting Surrey BC.

The location is good for White Rock and to Seattle. There are couple of good parks around and some good restaurants. You need a car. The parks are Bear Creek Park, The Green Timber, and others. Pool and hot tub are the the must when you are staying. I will try again in the future. Thanks for the good service.

Location of the Hotel was cool and near to bus stop and Indian markets. Room was a bit smaller but not bad for 2-3 nights. Room was provided with fridge, and coffee kettle. Clean rooms. Majority hindi speaking staff. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good and better service.

Stayed here for business on the third floor. There is one elevator and it's a little slow, so if you have a lot of luggage or are mobility impaired, plan a few extra minutes to get to and from your room especially in the morning or when the hotel is really busy. The hotel is what I'd call a high class best western. It was much nicer than what I expected of BW in Surrey. The hallways are done nicely and there is adequate security both in the hotel and in the free parking lot. The lot can be tricky to get in and out of if you drive a larger vehicle but fine for standard cars. It's in a good location for going out and doing things and for business purposes. The wifi was excellent. Fast, reliable, and free! The hotel really caters to its business customers with meeting space, desks set up in the room, and having early breakfast available at 6am. My room/suite (I think they're all suite set ups) was clean, fresh smelling, and easily climate controlled with the AC. It had a pretty decent view. The AC is in the bedroom and I found it a bit loud but it worked well and didn't interrupt a good nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. There was a tv in both the bedroom and the sitting area which I found convenient. The microwave and fridge were perfect for my needs so I didn't have to eat out all the time. Towels and sheets were fresh and high quality. I LOVED the quality and smell of the toiletries. The conditioner was really top notch and they provided makeup wipes as well as a dish cloth so I could wash my containers in the sink after eating in the room. The pool area was small, but well kept. It was quiet every time I went down, but I think it might get a little rowdy or loud on the weekends. The gym had a few standard pieces of equipment and was also well kept. It should be noted that the hot tub was legitimately hot, which was wonderful to relax after a long day. Breakfast was quality with 2 waffle makers, one hot meat choice (alternated between sausages and bacon), scrambled eggs, toast/bagels, and then the standard continental stuff (cereal, yogurt, fruit, pastry, etc). It was more than I expected since it was an included breakfast at a very reasonably priced per night BW. The people who work there genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. The guy who checked me in was charismatic, helpful, and knew his job. There was a note from housekeeping in my room welcoming me and thanking me for staying with them. The morning front desk people were helpful and kind(they keep umbrellas you can check out behind front desk instead of in the room if you forget yours). The women running the breakfast area knew me by name by day 2 because they introduced themselves and they did a wonderful job of keeping the breakfast area clean and well stocked. I felt like I was welcome and like everyone who worked there genuinely wanted me there. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Surrey, whether for business or pleasure.

Both desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was clean and well stocked with tasty breakfast foods. Room was comfortable and nicely appointed. Having both juices and coffees available 24 hr a day was a nice bonus.

Taran always has a hot meal and friendly smile every morning,the whole staff always make use feel at home with every stay. Rooms are exceptionally clean and ready even when we arrive a little earlier than expected. I love the coffee/convention area and have had a few family members come and we visit there.

We were in Surrey, BC for a wedding and stayed two nights at the BW King George Inn and Suites. The location was good, staff amazingly friendly and helpful, and breakfast each morning very good. We stayed in a queen suite, which had a separate bedroom, and small living room area with a pull out couch, microwave and frig. The bed was very comfortable and the room well appointed and clean. We used the business office twice, which was available 24 hrs/day. Would definitely recommend the Best Western King George Inn and Suites.

I stayed at this property last Thursday and Friday night. The stay was made memorable by the customer service by front line person named Nav (at check in desk). He went beyond the normal level of service both Friday and Saturday morningTo be honest, I would rather stay somewhere closer to where I do business, however, I would come back for his level of service.

Front desk receptionists Nav and Shawn we're so kind and even printed out directions for us because we are from the states! Rooms were clean and tidied each day. There is also a well kept exercise room, pool and hot tub for guests. The free continental breakfast was the best we've had at any hotel and the kitchen staff Taran and Liliana were very helpful. Next trip up, we will definitely be staying here!

We stayed here for two nights...7/9 and 7/10/19. Rooms are spacious and clean. When we went, the room was NOT ready on time...though we went after 3 pm....and were asked to wait for 15 minutes...no big deal...but after long drive...expected to be picture perfect....did not happen....good customer service and friendly front staff....decent b-fast ...nice location...closer to Starbucks and restaurants. Would recommend

Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff are friendly, Vish and the assistant Manager Nav are very helpful. Our room was very clean thanks to the amazing staff of the housekeeping dept. Best Western had the best selection of breakfast. The dining room hostess, Taran is exceptional. Other than being friendly, she made sure the dining room is clean. She also made us waffles which is very nice. We well definitely stay at Best Western again.

This was the end of our time in British Columbia and the motel had been chosen for easy access an minimal traffic, rather than for amenities. The morning we left, we had a leisurely breakfast; Best Western always offers the best motel breakfasts. The breakfast hosts, Taran and Liliana were surprisingly friendly and helpful. They went beyond any motel breakfast hosts that I've seen in my travels. All of the staff were extremely friendly helpful. I rather regret that we didn't allow more time at this motel.

We spent two nights at the hotel. One to start our road trip and one to end. This is the perfect place to spend a night or two. The hotel and the rooms are super clean and well setup. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a full spread and the young lady there is really nice to everyone and very helpful. Would really recommend it.

Though not much in the neighborhood to recommend, the hotel itself is handy to make an early start for the U.S. border after visiting Vancouver. The hotel is very comfortable with well maintained and clean rooms. My wife wanted me to be sure to mention that the shower pressure was great! I want to mention the friendly reception and Taran, the breakfast room attendant. We were made very welcome. The breakfast is more than advertised with very good scrambled eggs and great coffee. Added a toasted bagel and I was set for the drive across the border.

This was a great place for us to stay after our Abbotsford flight that got in very late. They were very accommodating, especially the young man at reception, making sure we would be abke to check in at 2am. The room was comfortable and the hotel amenities were nice the morning after a late flight. We had a swim and hot tub after a delicious breakfast, where Liliana was very accommodating and the food was great. We only wish they had real dishes and cutlery as the amount of garbage created everyday with all the disposable plates and cutlery was bothersome. The same desk employee was very helpful telling us how to navigate the skytrain, where to get a transit pass, where to pick up the bus, and even printed us the directions to save our data usage. Overall we will do this again our next trip to BC!

Karan and Liliana were very nice to us and helped us with alot of thing they made us wafles and other things they gave us chocolate bars when we left when we were done eating breakfast they brought our Plates to the garbage or wherever for us. Thanks very much Taran and Liuna

Taran(Breakfast attendant) she was always there to greet us with broad smile. She was alert and on her toes to help us. Her customer service was of very high order. I found that other guests also liked her and I wish her every success in life. House keeping fleet ( Ravinder, Sharan, Aman and Sarita) these girls helped us tremendously to keep our room neat and tidy. Whenever we walked through the hallway of second floor they greeted us with a smiling face. There housekeeping skills were praise worthy. Front desk team ( Vishrut, Nina and Shawn): They were ready to help us at all times. There customer service was awesome. I wish them good luck. Assistant Manager (Nav) he helped us when needed. All together with a good team of best western employees we could stay happily and with high spirits for close to 100 days.

The bed was comfortable, the room clean. Staff were very good. Breakfast, hot and delicious! So much to choose from, something for everyone. I'm a decaf coffee person and was pleasantly surprised to have a choice of strength for how strong a coffee I wanted. Staff were around making sure we got everything we needed. My son and I stayed at this hotel while visiting a friend in Surrey. The location made it so easy to find and it made it so easy to get to everywhere I wanted to go, including shopping malls and, of course, my friend's house. The front desk staff were a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in Surrey.

Taran and Liliana were phenomenal with the breakfast provided. Made sure everything was stocked and went well beyond to make sure my kids had extra fresh fruits with breakfast. Always greeted us with smiles and gave my kids hugs . Front desk staff was very accommodating. Will be back again soon.

The staff is very pleasant and helpful.they make your days much easier to go through . The location of the hotel is ok.A shopping centre is a few blocks away.You could finish your shopping lists there without wasting your time going somewhere else.

Stayed in one of the king suites for a wedding. The room was ok. We used the pullout couch for our son and there were squished up candies in between the couch cushions and the bedding, indicating the me that it wasn't very clean. Pretty average hotel. The free breakfast was decent. It was pretty expensive for what it was, but understand that it was a very busy weekend so likely prices were pushed up as it is the only hotel really in the immediate area.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights, firstly in a Queen suite and then in a King suite. Both were well appointed, but we preferred the King suite, which has a full size fridge, which came in handy after shopping at Costco four blocks away. The staff in the breakfast room was friendly and helpful (Taran comes to mind) and the breakfast plentiful.We dealt with Shawn at the reception desk, who was very efficient and tried his best to accommodate our requests. We nominate him for employee of the month! The only observation we have were the noisy AC units in the bedrooms which may bother light sleepers. All in all a hotel we would recommend!

My family recently stayed 1 night at this hotel. The hotel receptionists are nice and helpful while it has included hot breakfast. The most unforgotten impression of the hotel is its hot tub and swimming pool is well built with high quality of materials. The bathroom and beds are also of high quality. Even in the afternoon or in the evening the hotel has welcome fruits (apples, oranges and/or bananas) + drinking water close to the entrance of the hotel. We had a very happy stay at this hotel.

I was visiting from Regina,SK and stayed at this place for 4 nights with my husband and kids; the hotels rooms were clean, the breakfast was great with so many choices.The front desk staff was very helpful.Taran who works in the breakfast area was very efficient and friendly and was greeting all the guests super nicely. Front desk and breakfast staff (especially Taran) were exceptionally friendly. All our concerns were responded to promptly and efficiently. We were given accurate directions to the sky train which took us right downtown where all the action is.

This was our last hotel on our vacation and we weren't expecting much since we didn't have any activities planned and weren't close to any tourist attractions. The breakfast and kitchen staff were very helpful and the facility was clean. The swimming pool was nice as well. The only thing I'd change is less chlorine in the hot tub.

Taran and Nav were very kind and provided great customer service. Breakfast was fully stocked all for days we were. Check in was a little confusing as we had booked through hotel.com and our reservation was cancelled by the hotel. Nav quickly took car of us and even saved us a little money. That being said we missed out on the hotel rewards program. No biggie. Overall very clean and pleasant

This good hotel is part of the ever-reliable chain. It is handy for the main highway and access to the downtown skytrain. We were well-served at breakfast by the friendly waitress Taran. Indeed, all the staff made for a pleasant stay.

Was changed extra 120 for smoking inside when we never did and we even complained on arrival that the hallways and room smelt like weed and next day we were charged 120 for smoking but we never did. Owners son charged us for somthing we didnt do.... MONEY GRAB DO NOT STAY HERE

We loved our stay at the Best Western King George Inn & Suites. Staff members were remarkable...extremely friendly, efficient and professional. We were especially impressed by Taran! She was incredibly kind, helpful, compassionate and absolutely delightful! Our room was clean and comfortable, and the Inn was located close to the transit line. We would definitely return!

My daughter & I had a great stay at Best Western King George Inn & Suites last week. The service was exceptional by all. We juggled a baby, 2 rooms, & a work schedule for 5 days and it all worked out well. Special thanks to TARAN in the Breakfast lounge. She was so helpful setting up the baby at the table every morning. The food was delicious and the place was very clean & well kept. Thanks to the girls who cleaned the rooms as well. And the guys on the desk were AMAZING!!

We stayed one night at the King George and we would definitely stay again if in the area. We were greeted by NAV, one of the nicest and most dapperly dressed young men we have met in a long time. He was very friendly and helpful. He soon realized that he has family in our hometown so we had a nice conversation. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. There are nearby restaurants and this was a good location for driving out to the ferry the next day. It also is a good location if you are going to downtown Vancouver. Breakfast was fine and the host, Taran was very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great stay!

Fabulous customer service, they go above and beyond. The hotel was clean, the rooms were updated and the beds were comfortable. The lady at the front desk was on by herself, she was so helpful and despite being the only staff member she still fulfilled all of our requests without any problem.

Price was bit high since I use your hotel for business purpose with lower rate. Hopefully more rooms less budget may be better. You ask too many questions for survey since many items are duplicated and may be answered differently.

The whole experience was positive. From check in, room service, and dining area the service was great. In the Dining Room, the service of Taran/ Gurjeet was friendly, courteous and highly responsive to all the needs of people eating there.They really showed they cared.

A very nice place to stay. A lovely Phillipino woman checked us in and mentioned she had family from our city. A pleasant welcome indeed. The room was very clean, comfortable beds, laundry facilities were an added bonus. Breakfast was the standard continental but the coffee was excellent! Hello All, I would like to appreciate Ms. Ravinder KAur in housekeeping who made my stay memorable. She is a very gentle, respectful and helping lady. This is my second stay in the last four months and each time she showed the same respect and sense of helpfulness.

We have stayed here many times when visiting family. The front desk staff are friendly and accommodating,. The breakfast has many good options, including several gluten free bread/cereal/muffins. Taran was particularly accommodating and very helpful. Highly recommended,

One of the best hotel experiences I have had! Though I stayed with my family for 2 weeks, it never seemed like we were staying at a hotel. The affectionate behavior of the staff (including front desk) was heart-warming. Taran, the sweet girl at the breakfast would greet us everyday with a warm smile and greeting. She was such a joy to speak to and share India stories! Nav, Nina, and Shawn at the front desk would check on our everyday itinerary to make sure we were experiencing our travels in Vancouver in the best possible manner. Almost half of the itinerary was created over conversations with Nina and Shawn (Thank You!!). They have a fantastic understanding of the city and happily shared their personal travel experiences which helped me plan my travels better. Vancouver weather is quite famous to be wet, sunny and dry all in the same day. They were sweet to recommend what day should we visit Victoria/whistler and distant places and My parents and I look back at the stay with such fondness and joy. Thank you so much, everyone, for giving us a beautiful memory. I will be sure to recommend the hotel to all my friends and family traveling to Vancouver. Location wise, the hotel is in the heartof, Surrey. Very close to the Skytrain (12 minutes by bus) and 45 minutes to Downtown.

Favourite vancouver area hotel. Easy location for transit. Safe enough area. Clean, comfortable, and the most hospitable staff we have ever had in a hotel. Generally the front desk staff remember us and ask us about what shows we are returning for. Personal notes from the cleaning staff. Breakfast staff are consistantly friendly (this stay was a Taran who checked on our wants and needs). We even received a personalized christmas card a couple of years ago because we stayed so frequently:)

This hotel's staff puts customer service at the top of their priority list. Great people, very attentive. The complimentary breakfast was terrific. Taran was there to make sure you were happy with everything. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Each day the housekeeper left a note thanking me for staying and wishing me a great day. I didn't wander the area on foot (this is Surrey, after all) as I was by myself, so can't comment on surrounding amenities.

Very clean, excellent breakfasts, and friendly service! Although it was a little pricey, we would definitely stay here again. Although it is not within walking distance of much, the Robins Donuts next door could come in handy. However, the hotel even has complimentary cookies and fruit by the door!

We had a lovely reception - check in was pleasant and we were able to check in early by calling ahead. They have fruit in the lobby at all hours and the breakfast room is open throughout the day for guests to help themselves to coffee and juice. Cookies are set out around 1500 daily. There is a fruit bowl in the lobby that is always full. They do a super job of making you feel welcome. As diamond select, we received a lovely upgrade to a suite that was very, very nice. The furnishings were all in good shape and the room included a full kitchen area with all of the utensils needed for cooking - to include a four hob cooktop. They have a Keurig machine and stock all the K-cups you would need - including a bold choice. The cleaning team seems to be constantly busy up and down the halls and in the rooms keeping everything nice and clean. They serve a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon (one day they had sausage), yogurt, bread, pastries, waffles and cereal. It is nice to have and everyone can find a little something to get them going in the morning. We will happily return.

I needed a hotel for a long stay. I chose this hotel for its closeness to shopping, parks, and rapid transit into Vancouver. Check in was smooth and staff welcoming. Housekeeping staff are hardworking, cheerful, and responsive to requests. The included breakfast is generous and varied, both hot and cold choices. Because of the long stay, I noted that the high standard was consistent. I enthusiastically recommend this hotel.

Our visit consisted of 11 days. Would go back and stay for a month without a second thought. I needed a vacation as I care for a mom with Alzheimer's and my sister in BC took over her care while I relaxed. I enjoyed the pool. The hot tub was the best. No I think breakfast was the best. Thank you

The room was nice The staff were very nice and helpful. This property is close to public transportation (a couple different bus lines). It was great being able to convert currency from US to Canadian.

We stayed here when attending the Adidas Cup soccer tournament in Surrey. Great stay but we were placed beside the kitchen and were awoke at 5 am every morning with people preparing breakfast. Everything else was great but we were told we couldn't change rooms as they were full.

Staff is friendly and professional. Sharanjeet was excellent keeping our room clean and spotless during our stay, Taran was always friendly and helpful when having breakfast. The breakfast room was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Pool and hot tub weere great to relax in the evening.

We were in Burnaby for the Shun Yun Show which was excellent We had great service from the front desk and the breakfast room. The selection was really good pancakes waffles good selection of Jams hot and cold cereals,bacon, sausage, egg,juice, coffee, tea the service was excellent Taran was very helpful in the breakfast room. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Sarieka's efforts to keep our room fresh and clean were certainly noticed. She kept our room in top notch condition. The BW on King George is so central for us visiting an ill relative and it is more reasonable than any hotel closer to Vancouver. The staff is very helpful and smiles abound. The free breakfast in the morning is a great way to start the day with dinner plate size waffles, eggs and bacon or sausage, fruit, toast ,yogurt, coffee, juice and anything else you could think of. Taran who is there smiling every morning is a happy wonderful addition to the hotel.

My husband had a recent stay at BWKGI@S and we were quite pleasantly surprised by the high quality and standards of this little hotel. Very pleasant front desk for check in and check out! Rooms were up to date, linens were fresh and generously supplied, as well as toiletries. The pool and weight room were neat and clean with adequate lighting and sitting. The only thing with this area is that there is no washroom in that particular area. Loads of large fresh towels are provided with an open shower area. Breakfast room was clean, cheerful with so many choices! Staff was courteous, smiling and very accommodating (Taran would greet us with a smile, find us a table and assist with anything else we could possibly want! Coffee machine offered 3 different kinds of decaf! A real bonus for those of us who can't drink caffeine. Housekeeping were friendly and ready to supply our every need. General staff would greet us, no matter what area of the hotel we were in. We could always find parkiing and the hotel was very quiet.

We have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions over the past few years, usually for soccer team tournaments. This time we stayed just for a family overnight after returning from another trip. The hotel is clean, well maintained, with friendly front desk staff and housekeeping staff, comfortable beds, good wifi, clean bathroom with lots of high pressure hot water, well set up parking, and a decent breakfast. There is perhaps not as much variety as we would like for the breakfast, but it provides a good basic meal. The hotel is close to some restaurants like Swiss Chalet within walking distance, and definitely centrally located to drive to others. Despite the busy street, the room was very quiet. The price is very reasonable. Overall, we have not been disappointed in this hotel in the past and it was good again. We will definitely stay here again..

As usual B.W. Went beyond their way to make my stay as comfortable as I would like. My ONLY choice of stay in B.C. Period. I did not have a reservation as I was supposed to stay with family but when there is B.W., choice was simple. I came in late Saturday night and they were able to find a room for me.

We come here twice a year and all the staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast staff Taran and Gurjit are always warm and helpful and willing to get you anything you need. I definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff and great service. The complimentary hot breakfast is wonderful. Taran and Gurjit made sure I had everything I needed by offering gluten-free options! The room was very comfortable with Keurig coffee machine, microwave and fridge...everything we wanted. We will definitely stay again!

We had to stay at a few hotels do to a flooding at home and found that the Best Western was the best place to stay at and will stay there again without hesitation. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent.

Great service and very convenient location! We have family in Surrey and visit often. We really enjoy our stay here. The breakfast staff is very friendly and helpful (Taran and her co-worker were awesome!) Other things I liked: They gave us a room with a kitchenette when we asked, the rooms are clean and they will give you things you need, they have vegan and GF options, they give you good quality fruit and water to go and they really seem to care about you having a great stay there. I've stayed here about 10 times and the new management is even better than before. Thanks Best Western Surrey for taking good care of us! :-))

Had a great time staying here! Room was quite spacious and beds neatly done. Breakfast was decent too and the girl named Taran is doing a wonderful job there. She took good care of us and even offered to make waffles too! Would definitely be back :)

This is one of the better hotels we've stayed at. From the moment we walked in the door to the minute we left, the staff we encountered were all very pleasant and helpful. We had a slight problem with the room we were originally assigned, but since we checked in early enough the front desk clerk (I believe his name was Shawn, but I'm terrible with names) was able to get us a different room which was just as nice if not better. I got the sense the hotel staff actually cared for the comfort of its guests because we put out the "Do Not Disturb" sign while we were there and housekeeping left us a note to let them know if we needed anything. We also saw a maintenance worker doing some touch-up painting, which told me they wanted to keep the hotel as nice as possible. We loved the whole feel of a small one-bedroom/studio apartment, as the sleeping area was an actual room, and the kitchenette area came equipped with most if not all the basics anyone would need (the usual appliances, plus a toaster, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, a colander, and other stuff). This made it easy (and healthier) for us to not have to worry about limiting ourselves to eating out or frozen dinners. Breakfast was the typical fare of cereal, pastries, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, waffles and the added bonus of scrambled eggs and sausage. Not the most extensive menu I've seen but they did offer gluten and dairy free options upon request. Definitely will consider this our first choice next time we come to Canada. Thanks Shawn and Nav, for making our stay very enjoyable.

We got a room with 2 queen bed. The place is clean and the amenities are excellent. The pool was small but good enough for us - my husband, my 5 year old son and I. Our overnight stay includes a free breakfast buffet which is actually very good since we do not need to go out already. Overall, we had a delightful experience with our stay and would definitely come back!

We stayed during 5th to 9 Feb 2019. Overall it was very good stay. I have visited 2nd time BC and both time I stayed in same hotel. Very friendly staff. Specifically we had good experience with Ms. Taran and Gurjeet.

I stayed there for 6 days. Room is good and neat. Well maintained. They have free breakfast, which was well managed by the staff Taran. Room service people are also friendly and does their job good. Overall a safe place to stay with some good restaurants nearby.

The room was clean and adequate and there were supplies of shower items. The breakfast could have used more of a variety of cereal and some fruit yogurt would have been nice instead of the plan; however, Taran & Gorjit were very courteous and helpful and made us great waffles and asked multiple times how they could be of assistance.

Had a great time at Best Western King George. The Front Desk employee Shawn was super helpful and gracious about our check in and out times. The hotel was in a great location .. near the border and near the party we had to attend. Room was clean and the staff were helpful. Thank you!

I've stayed at different Best Westerns and they've all been good but this stay was the best. The room was clean and comfortable and the pool and hot tub were very well maintained. ALL the staff were so friendly and helpful. Taran & Gurdit who looked after the breakfast room made sure the trays were full, the food was hot and Taran would come and check with us to see if there was anything else we needed. We didn't have a car so relied on the bus and skytrain. The bus to the King George train station is a 2 minute walk across the street from this hotel and we could take the skytrain to Metrotown in Burnaby or downtown Vancouver so this hotel is in an ideal location.

I have stayed here multiple times and always enjoyed it. It's newly renovated and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The best part is the friendly staff. Nav, Nina and Shawn are always cheerful and go the extra mile to help every request. Highly recommended

Super clean Awesome breakfast you can make your own waffles. Awesome staff very pleasant and helpful. Pool and hot tub clean with fluffy towels. Oh did I mention that there is free cookies in the lobby....

We returned to find the room door visably open with security bar preventing it from closing. Desk clerk had noticed, but failed to take action. Probably Housekeeping error. Luckily our valuables appeared to be intact. No safe in room.

The kitchen suite I was in was very well appointed. The room was a good size, recently renovated (I think the whole hotel has been) and very clean. The front desk, buffet and cleaning staff were all very friendly and competent. The beds are top notch and the included breakfast was surprisingly good and with healthy options. The housekeeper, Sarika, who looked after my room was particularly friendly and competent.

I have travelled to many hotels and this one is very good. I found the room clean upon arrival. Very fresh smelling hotel, even saw them washing the elevators walls. My cleaners do a great job everyday maintaining my room and ask politely if I need anything. Navdeep is an amazing cleaner she is very kind and understanding. Great communication and respect from ALL the staff.

Our room was clean and quite roomy, staff were very friendly and accommodating, The breakfast was good with plenty of options thank you Taran who made sure breakfast was always running smoothly, with a lovely smile for all the guests. I really enjoyed the stay at this location. They are SO incredibly CLEAN and the staff is AMAZING! In recent years, I have been diagnosed with celiac disease, and my dietary needs changed. The staff that day, Taran, had provided separate gluten-free baked items for me and also brought freshly scrambled eggs from the kitchen for me separately, as the previous set was sitting in a buffet warmer next to bacon- which is something that I can not consume due to religious requirements. I stayed at the hotel on a long term stay (2 months) and the conditions were excellent. Customer service was exhibited by all staff in a very caring and professional manner. This is a second time in five years that I have stayed here and would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone. One of the true highlights of the day started each morning with a friendly hello from Taran who works the breakfast area. She was so sincere and friendly each morning. the room is fine, we have to go down twice to get the key activated. I have left my diamond ear stubs on the night table. I called the hotel, unfortunately the girl said nobody has seen them. I am 120% sure I left them on the night table, so there are only two possibilities, either the cleaning lady took them or she did not clean the night table and the next customer took them, either possibility the service is really bad. I am so disappointed when the girl told me nobody has found them. they are gifts from my husband. I will never recommend this hotel to my friends and families for sure.

Nice suite, clean and cossy, free breakfast was great, and staff were friendly. John at the front desk even gave us a travel breakfast pack when we had to check out at 4:30am in the morning. Will stay again

We have stayed at the Best Western multiple times over the past 10 years. The past 2 were May 2018 for 10 days and in November for 5 days. Both visits this year the staff (cleaning and front desk) were great and the breakfast service by Taran was absolutely stellar. I don't think you would be disappointed if you were looking for a stay at a family friendly hotel.

Hotel and rooms are very neat and clean. Staff is very friendly. Taran is a very courteous and helpful. She is a wonderful person to talk. Her behaviour toward guests is remarkable. Hotel has a clean pool and hot tub.

Rooms are very clean and well maintained. The heating however is very loud. Neighbours were also very loud with kids jumping around into the midnight. Breakfast selection is rather small but everything tasted pretty good. The breakfast attendant Taran is very nice.

This hotel is very clean and includes a small pool and exercise room. What is really outstanding is the staff. They accommodate your needs , speak to you in the hallways and always have big smiles.The girl in the breakfast room, Tarzan, made our day. She was super friendly and kind, seeing to our every need. We sadly only had two nights there, but Taryn came out to say goodbye to us...how very kind. We plan to go back for sure!

The extremely professional and very friendly staff bent over backwards to accommodate us with our need for a shower hose option. I overheard that the particular room we were in had been booked for the second and third nights of our stay, and they worked overnight, shuffling room reservations around, until they managed to allow us to remain in that room all three nights. The room was super clean, and housekeeping staff left cute notes thanking us for our stay. The complimentary breakfast was astounding!! Make-yourself waffles, eggs scrambled or hard-boiled, bacon or sausage, fresh fruit, pastry, every possible kind of cereal and yogurt, it was amazing. And adorable little Taran the breakfast attendant, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and insisted on making us a custom waffle. We've been twice to this Hotel, and heartily recommend it to our friends. The staff should get a commendation!

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and we were very pleased with the hotel and with the service. The rooms and common areas are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful, especially Taran, who greeted us so kindly each morning at breakfast.

Both my husband and I were very pleased with our stay at this nice hotel. It first it seemed expensive but we booked it because of location. After our stay, I now consider it a value. The rooms are clean and nice, with comfortable beds. We had a full refrigerator, a stove top, sink and all the dishes and utensils needed. The breakfast is generous and open until 10:00, which I appreciated. Most hotel breakfasts close by 9:00. I also appreciated the pool and hot tub, the pool water was nice and warm and the hot tub was actually hot. So many hotel pools are so cold you can't get in them. The staff are helpful and accommodating including housekeeping. Overall, a great place to stay while in Surrey.

Taran was an excellent breakfast host. Very helpful without us asking. She's very alert and attentive to offer assistance. Very pleasant and kind! She stocks up items without anyone asking for more. Also saw her make waffle for an older gentleman who had a hard time reading instructions on how to make it and took it to his seat. She's an asset to the hotel. Was too hungry and forgot to take pictures of the freshly made Belgium waffles, sausage patties, eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, cereal, juice, coffee, and many items in the fridge. Very clean eatery.

Stayed here for the first week of October with my wife and parents to watch my daughters play in the U17 soccer nationals. Very helpful staff, clean rooms, delicious hot breakfast. Close to restaurants, groceries, gas, the Skytrain into Vancouver, shopping malls, White Rock, and the Soccer fields. Very reasonably priced and definitely got my money's worth. Highly recommend this hotel and gladly stay again.

My family stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We were visiting family and relatives in the Surrey, Vancouver, and Victoria areas. As you enter the premises, there are enough space for parking. Rooms in the first floor were under renovation when we checked in and therefore it was not as tidy as expected. But, it is good because it means when the reno becomes completed, rooms would become newer and better. Breakfast is great. Price is decent at $100 per night for 4 with 2 queen beds. One thing needs improvement: Hotel management must sound-proof the first floor ceilings because I could hear footsteps from the second floor as early as 4am!

Quiet hotel, except some Harley meeting going on. Very clean, staff very accommodating. Go early for breakfast or find left-overs only. Depending on direction, getting to the parking lot can be somewhat challenging. Might stay again. Mature couple.

We stayed here for 2 nights. To show you why they are helpful, when we checked in, we had 3 different rooms in our party. One of the rooms, the party staying had a difficulty checking in with their card not being accepted. The manager immediately helped the person with the procedure to be accepted. I especially liked the breakfast helper, she was on the ball and friendly as well. Cudos for Taran and all the staff as they made our stay enjoyable.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Despite the busy weekend time and almost full occupancy, was arranged an early check-in by the very courteous and smiling front desk team. Restaurant spread is good, especially Taran and Manni, who greet everyone over there with a smile and ensure you've a good breakfast time. The house keeping staff are a group of ladies, who're very sweet and they do a fantastic job in making up your room. The location is perfect, next to a no. This establishment is clean and quiet. We stayed two days on our visit of Vancouver and Whistler. It was easy to find on a major road. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast had the usual selections and was kept well stocked by the attendants. It is 17 miles from Vancouver and as long as you are not traveling during rush hours the travel time is reasonable.

Nice Hotel, they need to upgrade diamond elite members automatically without forcing us to ask. Taran and Manni in the breakfast area were the best. They really know how to take care of customers and provide excellent customer service.

The motel has easy access to transit to downtown Vancouver, while also having free parking and easy road access. The free breakfast is a robust motel breakfast and they are not in a rush to close it down. (They also keep the juice and cereal open 24 hours for midnight cravings.) The indoor pool is small but good enough for some family fun. (For a workout, the gym would be a better bet.) The convenience store next door sells transit day passes. The bus stop to Vancouver is on the opposite street corner from the motel. The bus runs frequently and connects to two Skytrain stations. The A/C worked fine - and was easy to turn off. The location is south of Vancouver and easily accessible from the US border. The motel makes no pretensions about being a luxury hotel, but as a suburban motel, it does an excellent job.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a 2 day stop-over in the greater Vancouver area on the way to Washington state. Our great experience started with the great hotel staff upon check-in and continued with the clean, updated rooms, good breakfast and the wonderful team in the breakfast room. The staff is truly what made our stay great. It's near many amenities in Surrey (gas station, bank, grocery store, etc.) and conveniently located if you're driving down to Washington state.

We stayed here for four nights while visiting the Vancouver area. The room was clean, and quiet. The A/C unit actually seemed to work which was nice. (Most places I stay the unit doesn't monitor the temperature.) The staff were very nice, and ready to help. The breakfast was good, but maybe a notch below other BW's we've stayed at. The WiFi was great at 17 Mbps. The only negative thing was the $200 damage deposit. I've never had to pay this staying at a hotel, and wasn't told upfront about it. It didn't give me warm fuzzies about my fellow travelers, either.

The room was okay for me (my wife does house keeping and has a more acute eye), the room location was quiet, parking was limited but adequate and the hot breakfast Taran and Manni put out was a good start to our day. Overall a reasonably good package at a fair price.

Front desk staff was great. Parking is very tight in this parking lot. Our room overlooked the 24 hour doughnut shop beside the hotel so it was noisy up to about 11pm. Busy street to get out on. Breakfast was the typical hotel breakfast and very crowded when we went down.$240.00 canadian

He went out of his way to help us figure out how best to spend two days in Vancouver. The ladies in the breakfast dining area, Taran and Bonnie, were both amazingly helpful and kind. We chose this hotel for its location as it was only a 20 minute drive to where we needed to be on a daily basis in New Westminister. We were given a great welcome by a young gentleman whose name I didn't get (but he was a snazzy dresser!). The rooms were very good and clean etc, Breakfast was good and had 2 very helpful ladies in there Taran and Bonnie who went out of their way to assist you and be friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

I was in Surrey BC, on pleasure trip, as I travel to Surrey every year with family. We stayed in Best western king George inn & suites, Surrey, BC which was listed within the guide as their best rooms for travellers. The room overlooked very clean, quiet & comfortable As I stayed in Best Western my last three trip, it's in best location. There are couple of restaurants, gas stations and other daily needs store around the hotel. The maid ensured my room was immaculate on daily basis and receptionist was very friendly and also extremely helpful. I was impressed by all of the staff within the hotel, really good breakfast with variety of stuff and I noticed a staff named TARAN in the breakfast place was really helpful, attentive and was timely handling the requests. Thanks to all for their hospitality. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel

My room was clean & ready when I arrived.Loved the pool & hot tub. Aman at the front desk was very friendly & helpful. He also suggested some restaurants & places to check out. Enjoyed my breskfast here. Thanks to Taran who was so friendly & made sure breakfast was well served.

Had a problem finding a good hotel with reasonable rate in a location to all our activities until I found this Best Western. Good location, clean room, and we received a complimentary upgrade. The breakfast was you typical buffet, but we met a lovely hostess, Taran. Very sweet made me laugh.

Location was good - handy to city, BC ferry and border. Shops and restaurants close by. Thai restaurant right next door. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean. Indoor pool was warm and very clean, jacuzzi lovely and gym well equipped. Our room had a well stocked kitchenette; stove top, microwave, sink, coffee maker as well as necessary crockery, cutlery, utensils and other cooking equipment to be self catering. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Writing desk, chair and desk lamp were good. Plenty of free parking.

We stayed here for the second time two nights ago. Very welcoming when checking in. Clean, comfortable rooms. Fitness Center and swimming pool and jacuzzi. The full breakfast was really a hit as well with husband and grandson. Will continue to make it a stop over.

I stayed here from June 24-27th 2018 while visiting family. Taran was the server at the complimentary morning buffet and she was exceptional! You could tell that she enjoyed what she does because she was genuine, present, gracious and most helpful. For me, Taran made the experience, as did the young man at the front desk, although I don't remember his name. I could've used more amenities in my room such as a better movie selection option and snacks. The beds were very comfortable, however!

A hotel that provides the essentials and is willing to accommodate upon request. The staff follow certain guidlines for the hotel that they work for and assist accordingly. This is a nice hotel within reasonable expectations

Great location in Canada, town of Surrey is not far from Vancouver and Ferry terminals. Location of Best Western was easy to access many sites and come back to a nice and quite location for a end of day relaxation. Taran does a fantastic job of taking care of you in the dining room and front desk staff are all great!

For the third time, I stayed for one week while working in the area. As a Best Western, there were no surprises or unmet expectations. All renovations going on last time were competed and all amenities available. As the last times, I enjoyed the handwriting notes left by the housekeeping team. Nice thing to come back to after a days work. I still wish there had been extra power outlets at the desk and nightstand lamp bases like most BW hotels do. I was told last time that those were in the reno plans but none were in my room. Next I have to be in Surrey, I will not hesitate to book here again.

ALL of the BW staff were ahhmazing both before and during our stay. Taran and Bonnie helped make our breakfast extra pleasant helping us with the waffle machine plus ensuring we had everything we needed. Unfortunately the rooms are not sound proof...people walking by in the hall speaking in normal voices felt like they were in our room with us. Added to this the BW was full of very noisy, badly behaved young adults who were attending a weekend music festival...thinking that knocking on doors at 2am was funny, racing up and down the halls, jumping and dancing in their room above our heads...not the hotel's satff's fault but, again, not sound proof. To repeat...all BW staff were ahhmazing!

We stayed here as part of a family wedding group and they were very accommodating. The staff are so friendly and pleasant and try to do everything to help. The beds were comfy and we found our room quite quiet. Room was clean, ready early and good coffee. Breakfast was good, a bit of everything to start your day.

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. As predicted our one bedroom queen suite was very clean. The lighting is great in all rooms. The staff are all so amazing and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. A special thank you to Radika who made our reservation. She was a super lady! Also the breakfast at this hotel is highly recommended. Lots of variety. The two ladies in the breakfast nook, Taran and Bonnie were polite, helpful and greeted every person. We will be back again and highly recommend this hotel.

Their concierge room service and hotel parking everything is very accommodating and at a great comfort level things are available. But what I loved the most is their breakfast timings and their specialized breakfast attendants. Taranjit Kaur (Taran) at BW king george inn is an asset to have. She really has utmost of patience friendliness and has excellent communications and interpersonal skills and a great attitude and appetite for humble customer service. Their Receptionist Radhika is very helpful in terms of coupons and suggestions for tours and adventures. I would love to stay there with my family always. It's a very baby/child friendly place and in the center of attractions such as bear creek park etc. Taran has a lot to advice share and make the place feel like home. I wish there are breakfast attendants like her everywhere I go.

the people in this place were trying to make the best memories for me. breakfast was good. I really enjoyed talking with Taran Bonnie during my breakfast. she was friendly and outgoing and that made my mornings to start with a positive energy.

My 1st time in canada and I choose Best western hotel because of a nice review.. I arrived in their hotel almost late night near the road and fully book however I already have my pre room book with Traveloka ..This place is Indian community moreover some staff where indian too..My room is 2 queen bed with full of bathroom amenities .. the housekeepers were so polite and dont go inside your room without your permission.. Continental breakfast with waffles and bacon or beef patties in the morning .. they have 24/7 juices , coffee and water .. I love this place eventhough its 5 -10 minutes from guilford mall and surrey central . It is 1 n a half hour from airport thru the skytrain and bus .. my place is near a laundry area a donnut resto and many more ..I almost stay outside and due to the affinity of bus stop i have no problem going around vancouver.. Aircon is ok and I hardly use it because its cold..I cannot ask for more best western is one of the best hotel I have reviewed.. staff were great ..

Very quiet and comfortable overnight stay. The breakfast room was spacious, clean and well provisioned. Really want to mention hostesses Taran and Bonnie in the breakfast room for their great service. We were impressed!

The Hotel was, well located from the Skating Arena and it was clean with the convenience of being able to have breakfast include before heading out each morning. The staff were friendly, We would stay here again.

We always stay here when we visit Surrey and have always enjoyed our stay. We recently stayed here again in June 2018. Excellent professional always helpful staff, few names include Shane and Arjun among others. Arjun went above and beyond, took time to guide us with directions/food and as needed. In addition, the day shift manager would inquire about the comfort of the stay. They genuinely care about their customers and the input provided. We spent 2 nights and 3 days. We had booked additional rooms for our friends and their families. The experience and comfort of the rooms was >5 star as always. Our friends and their children enjoyed the gym amenities, with comfortably sized hot tub and children-friendly-pool, not to forget the delicious breakfast which includes gluten free items upon request, which Taran was helpful with. Our friends were thankful to us to expose them to this wonderful stay experience and will be staying here when ever they visit Surrey. The location is central and conveniently located to meet our needs. Most importantly we love their friendly caring service and staff. That was why we chose to entertain our friends here. We would definitely recommend staying here, rating >5 Stars and 10/10.

Our stay at the Best Western King George in BC was beyond wonderful.We are a large family of 6 and were residing at the hotel for 10 days and every minute of our stay was well cared for. The staff are friendly, helpful, and truly understood the meaning of customer service. The continental breakfast was always a great selection of quality foods including bacon/sausage, eggs, and waffles. There is always coffe, tea, and juice available at any hour. The pool, hot tub, gym, and laundy on sites made the stay so much more comfortable when the bc weather was not the most cooperative. When it came to our children the staff were amazing but the most amazing was the ability to function almost normaly without intruding on other guest or feeling intrusion ourselves. Besides the elevator and lounge it was like we were the only ones there (on alteast 4 of the 10 nights the facility had no vacancy durring the Cloverdale rodeo) The location was out of the hustle and bustle of downtown but still close to many things for the family (Bear creek park was our recomend to all place of note) and travel to the big tourist sites was actually very easy with the highway and road systems throughout BC. Id would say it was it best choice of the many hotels we looked at if your traveling with kids. I want to end with perticular mention of a few of the staff who went above and beyond with service. Radhika did a wonderful job handling the administrative part of our stay even when an unexpected hold on our credit card occured (be advised to warn your bank of travel so they dont suspect unusual expences freezing the card in case of fraudulent activity) The 2 gentleman working the desk whom i did not get a name for (one seems to be full time week nights and another who had just started while we were there yet preformed as if employed there for years)made our stay very welcoming like staying with family but better. And Taran who really personalized the breakfast experience, even going so far to make and serve the waffles for you. Her and the others never skiped a beat to step in and help when one of my 3 young ones would spill something. I never really got to meet the cleaning staff but when passing they always said hi and asked how things were or if they could help in any way. There was one younger lady that that i saw often as we were heading out i wish i got her name but she always had a smile and the room looked spectaular after our return (even the toys were put neatly in the spot i had designated for them) I am the last person to send in a positive review as i believe that if employed in customer service you have choosen to provide your best service to you customer. My stay here brought back my faith in the service industry in which standards are definatly slipping. Thank you and safe travels to all Heidi

Taran, the young woman working the breakfast was so friendly and helpful. I recently discovered I have Celiacs so eating is all new for me. I asked Taran what was gluten free? She went to the back and brought me muffins and bread. I took a muffin. She then came over to our table and asked how everything was and if I wanted more muffins or anything. We appreciated her service and friendliness. Usually the staff at hotel breakfast set ups just refill and clean! We would defiantly stay here again! Clean large comfortable room, handy location and friendly helpful staff. It was a wonderful stay. Nice to have a hot tub too!!

The room was clean and fully stocked. The staff were great, from the desk to the clean staff, they were all polite and friendly. Bed was so comfortable, we had a great quiet sleep. It is a busy location but staff are vigilant to keep a watchful eye out of its premises. Breakfast was offered as part of our stay, but it wasn't very good ... however, there are other options close by.

we spent almost a week and the stay is no-prob event. Hotel is a little far away from downtown Vancouver, but the breakfast is good with many choices worth the saving. Staff very helpful, especially Taranjit of the cafeteria

Hotel was very clean and ideal for a family/business accomodation. Staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and efficient. Kudos to the General Manager, Jenni-Lynn who helped me to facilitate my billing problems and the hospitality and warmth of Taran in the breakfast room. I have been staying at the property for a few days each of the pasts weeks while on business. The staff make the experience very pleasant. The smallish hotel offers all that is needed for a comfortable business stay.

We have stayed here before and will again. Clean and convenient location friendly staff. Great breakfast options comfortable room and internet access that worked well. Would recommend to family and friends.

My family and I had an amazing time at this hotel while visiting Vancouver. Every staff, from the cleaning personnel to the manager always had a smile on their face and were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. The fitness center and pool are great. The breakfast gets the whole family off to a great start with great options.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western King George. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful! The hotel is located in a nice family area with plenty of shopping, restaurants and mini-marts all around. Located just a 30 minute drive to downtown Vancouver and only eight miles from the beach in White Rock! Breakfast was better than average. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel offers great value and wonderful service. Bit of driving to do if going into Vancouver but close to lots of shopping, Tsawwasen Ferry and easy navigation. We always stay here when making a quick trip to the area because of availability and value.

newly renovated,comfortable,clean and quiet, a little ways out from Vancouver but, well kept and good value for the money,.staff is very friendly and rooms are clean located not far from a couple of resteraunt and of course includes breakfast

Do consider the Best Western King George Inn and Suites if you need accommodations in the Surrey (Vancouver) area. This appealing and immaculate (and nicely decorated) Best Western gives excellent value for your travel dollars. In addition, the "check in" staff are polite, efficient and pleasant to interact with. All questions were accurately answered and several ( good) ideas for restaurants provided. The breakfast provided is adequate as per most BW hotels. The air conditioning system is excellent and will (actually) keep you cool if necessary. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rest of the suite more than met our needs. We will definitely return (might go slightly out of our way to return to this particular BW in Vancouver) and, I have no hesitation in recommending the BW King George to others.

I was very satisfied with my stay, except (and this is not exclusive to Best Western hotels) the continental breakfast was not very inspiring and the only option was to use disposable plates and cutlery, creating a lot of waste. Also no organics compost bin was provided for food / biodegradable items that should be diverted from the landfill.

The King George In and Suites is a comfortable inn in the heart of Surrey, BC. The room was very comfortable with a kitchenette, separate bedroom and a living room. Nice décor, comfortable bed were all plusses. The room's situation near the HVAC system was a bit of a drawback.

It was a very good deal for the money. Location is great. Staff is very friendly. Room was clean. Our room had a full fridge and cooktop. We really enjoyef our stay and would recommend this hotel whole heartedly to any one. We will certainly stay here on our next trip.

Stayed here while a very dear friend was speaking at a conference. Very good, friendly service. From the time we walked in all staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and nice decor. The continental breakfast was good with lots of selection. Although I wasn't there until 9:30 and only two apples left for fresh fruit. IF, I had of been earlier, likely the fruit selection would have been better. Also, it was very busy at that time. So happy to have been able to stay in a friendly, safe and comfortable place close to our conference. ??

Totally awesome hotel, with exceptional staff throughout. Even arranged some alterations needed on Easter Sunday. Wished we could have stayed throughout the competition. Great rooms, comfortable beds, breakfasts changed daily...... Would definitely recommend this motel!!

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Nikki was the best! The rooms was fine, but a little small for two people staying for 9 days. Not enough places to hang things, if you get my drift. The breakfast was adequate and filling, although I came to dread sausage morning. The pool and the exercise room are small. The jacuzzi was great. The hotel is on a main, very busy thoroughfare. You need a car. There is not much within walking distance. Two eateries close by that were very good: The Lighthouse, good Indian fare and Veggie Pizza, very good veggie pizzas with an Indian flavouring in the sauce. This hotel would be good for a one or two night stay.

Nice place to stay. Not really any negatives about this Hotel. Fairly close to good shopping and dining. Weather was a little rainy for us but nothing too serious. People were quite friendly and helpful.

We were checked in quickly, they helped us find a patio restaurant, the beds were comfy, they were just as helpful at 3am when we needed hot water and at breakfast when we needed a knife to cut an apple. The hotel was sold out and so quiet even with our room across from the pool and great workout room. Thanks for making it a home away from home while we visited with family.

My brother, who is physically challenged with early signs of dementia recently spent 2 nights at the Best Western Hotel. I was so impressed with the patience, genuine caring and professionalism of the staff who helped him, especially Aman and Shawn at the front desk and Amy in the dining area. When they heard he was challenged they moved him to the ground floor, close to the desk and breakfast room. They helped him countless times, answered all his many questions and were extremely kind and understanding. The suite is exceptional value for the price, I was surprised it was so inexpensive. Thank you for all your help.

It is my first time in Canada. I arrived in the hotel at about 9pm. The lady was so friendly and helped me out when checking in. Next day a gentleman helped me book a taxi because I don't have a Canadian mobile number. Thanks a million!

I recently stayed one night at the BW King George Inn & Suites. The rooms were on the small side but clean and the beds and pillows were comfy. The staff were efficient and helpful. They provide a hot breakfast with all the usual fixings. Breakfast started at 6:30 am which was nice for early starters. It seemed to be a working man's hotel. Good value for the money. My only concern is the location on a load, busy street in a bad part of Surrey. Travelling as a single, women, I did not feel comfortable walking to nearby restaurants. There were a few options but I elected to eat in my room. In the past I have been accosted by criminal elements in that location.

Took a chance booking this hotel for the first time and it couldn't have worked out better. Location was perfect and only a short walk away from my business purpose for the trip. A welcomed and free upgrade to a suite made preperations for the class I was teaching a comfortable experience. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants and other stores within a very short walk.

Had some quick business in the area. Great location lots of shopping and eateries in the area. Coffee in the room (Keurig sp?) and waffles for breakfast made the day. Excellent location for Surrey and New Westminster good access and egress to all major routes.

Hotel staff always a genuine smile. Very accommodating and helpful. They treated us like we were someone very important.Don't get that a lot from all hotel staff in other hotels.Liquor store across the street has free delivery (We didn't use this though as non drinkers) Grocery stores and shopping close by with a vehicle

We have stayed here so many times, we are very familiar with the staff, rooms, breakfast routine and cleaning staff. We are always happy to check-in at the BW Surrey, King George Inn and Suites. We visit family in Delta so will stay at this hotel again.

not only is BW king george nice and quiet, it is also accessible to SMH and YR centre, close also to shopping mall. the breakfast room is roomier now maybe because the renovation is done. i like it that they followed up on me when i failed to check in on the day that i was expected (i missed my flight), before cancelling my reservation. the reviews about the staff being nice is accurate. the place is modest almost like a home where you can just relax. the rooms are neat and clean and spacious. well recommended for the more mature crowd.

Room was not clean. Sheets and curtains were wrinkled. Paint stains on the bathroom floor. With some care this could be an excellent location. I was disappointed with cleanliness of the room. I stayed in a single queen suite.. I find the The majority of best western hotel is extremely acceptable I try to use best questions hotels exclusively and I travel a lot. I will however avoid this hotel at all costs

Second time staying here. No complaints at all! Awesome bed and pillow. Very freindly staff. Room was modern and clean. Keurig coffee maker and microwave in room. Vending machine by elevator on 3rd floor. We will return.

We needed accommodation close to the Surrey Memorial Hospital, and this excellent venue was perfect. Although there is no restaurant or bar on site, 'Chilies' Thai cuisine next door was superb. The hotel serves a full breakfast near the lobby which we appreciated before we checked out. Very good value indeed!

Almost every one assisted me and made it possible to get back to the airport the following day. The King George Hotel in Surrey B.C. [lower mane land is very convenient to the Vancouver area.Also close to the U.S. border

Very nice staff that is willing to help. Even though they had renovations going on this did not overly disturb us. Clean neat and tidy. Find that they were very accommodating and listened to our needs.

From the begining to the end our stay at Best Western was perfect. I've stayed with them from BC to New Mexico and they've always made my stay enjoyable.Their services are impeccable!! I look forward to staying with them again and won't hesitate in recommending Best Western to my friends and family!

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights during thanks giving weekend of 2017. Hotel is conveniently located. Decent parking space available and parking is free. We liked the free breakfast as well. Wi-fi is free We are very pleased with the excellent customer support provided by the front desk people. They take the extra mile to ensure that you are comfortable and your needs are met. We are especially impressed with the front desk manager Nicki Grewal, who went out of the way to help us with our car rental issue that had to be addressed immediately but we were in a rush to fly back to the US. Thanks Nicki. We know where we would be staying during our next visit to BC :)

Stayed in a King Suite with kitchenette. 4 element Stove top, no oven, apartment sized fridge. Fed VBall team out of the kitchenette. Clean and comfortable rooms and amenities, decent hot breakfast -nothing fancy but does the job while on the road. Staff helpful and accommodating as tournament schedule (and thus departure) was unknown when checking in. Would recommend.

Great free breakfast and staff and great location but can be a bit noisy due to road traffic as on busy street. But staff were very friendly and helpful and free breakfast great with an excellent selection of pastries(almond croissant was excellent) and crisp bacon, yummy eggs and waffles.
