« Excellent with minor issues... »

If you are looking for an affordable SPA close to Warszawa / ?ód? -- this is definitely the place worth considering / checking out... They are in a long-term process of upgrading and renovating the place, so some thing are still a bit from the old times... They offer nice packages and you can negotiate what you will have in the package -- if you contact them directly and talk what you like and what you do not need... Ask for Ms. Renata -- she is extremely helpful. Not everything is perfect, but other things make up for: - rooms could use more sound-proof doors... sounds can be heard "both ways" ;-) - systematic control of facility -- to make sure that small issues -- like paint peeling off a window -- are fixed immediately... (there are no big issues, but small ones can put a dent in a perfect experience). - chef needs to be sent to more training -- dishes are uneven in quality... Note that in the late Fall the swimming pool will be renovated -- better check this... Nevertheless, I am DEFINITELY planning to go back to the hotel and to the SPA!!!!

« Comfortable hotel with interesting interior and tasty food »

I stayed here in November for a company event. The place is amazing- rooms being cozy, comfortable and clean, all furnished tastefully, well equipped. Bathrooms also very clean. Food was great, all of it, and general management of an event on a hotel side as well. The thing that needs improvement are pool and spa facilities, however the renovation is scheduled. The only two downsides were ridiculously thin doors, and the fact that as being a rather large group we were denied additional cards to our rooms.

« Interesting for history lovers - nice for every tourist »

The Hotel is located in Sulejow Cistercian Abbey (listed as a Historian Monument) one of the best preserved Cistercian Abbeys in Poland. What to expect from the hotel? Nice (not very spacious) rooms. simple , well designed - apart that they are not very well isolated so you can hear perfectly all your neighbors and what is going on on the corridors. The service is super nice, ready to help you all the time. The restaurant confused me a bit. I have ordered a beef tatar to the room for lunch and it was great ! Tasty, big portion , very well served. In the evening I took a part at organized dinner and food was not something to be amazed with. I liked a local beer (they make it in Podklasztorze) So my total score is 4 (out of 5) taking into account all complex - including little SPA. Place to relax.

    « A pretty place to visit »

My visit there took place many months ago, yet from what I remember, my stay was quite entertaining and peaceful, despite capricious weather. The building itself is quite nice and has an interesting architecture. Its surroundings are mostly green and romantic. Not everything was perfect, though. In my opinion, the area could have been better taken care of. More attractions could have been provided. To sum up, I hope that now everything is going even better than it was during my visit and that the place is flourishing.

« Great hotel for families »

We spent there a couple of days in May (2 adults plus a 4-month old infant) and it was a good choice - the hotel provided a baby cot, a bath, plus lots of other attractions that we did not benefit from, because they are for a bit older children. There was also an interesting program of additional activities for families such as trips, games, movies. On the negative side, waiting times in the hotel restaurant were really long. To sum up: a nice family hotel!

« Great place at Romanesque Route »

We had a three-beds family room with the view at the Cistercians church built in XIII century. It was February 2017 so there was quite cold (approx. +10 degrees). There is a pool in the hotel basement with warm water (about 28 degrees) - nice place to warm up. Quite good cuisine in the restaurant. We spend there 5 cool days in an apartment with medieval accents. A bathroom very nice and clean. Tasty breakfasts, but repeatable.

    « 3-star standard with a lot of potential »

We stopped by only for one night during our road trip. The building itself is gorgeous and surely can be changed into unforgettable and fancy 5 star hotel. Right now, it's rather decent hotel with nothing extraordinary to offer. Don't get me wrong - it's ok for 3-star standard but it can be so much more! To make things worse during our stay there were some construction works being done which was quite annoying (noise and chemical odours were really bothering). Restaurant is also ok but breakfast menu is rather limited. WiFi is terrible and you shouldn't even consider that it is there. Details in the furnishings don't match the rest of this place. Other than that - it's a decent hotel to stay at.

    « Magical place! »

The hotel combined with an epic historical site originating from 12th century is sth not to miss! This is where King Wladyslaw Jagiello stationed on the way to beat the Crusaders in 1410. (Unfortunately the site is not supported by the profits from the hotel though). V. nice staff, got upgraded to a cosy suite, unfortunately some of the rooms are tiny. Food at the restaurant - delicious, nice local brews as well. The only disadvantage is the pool - quite old one. Nevertheless - 100% recommended.
