The Best Western Hotel Stuttgart 21 is centrally located in downtown, close to the main train station. Enjoy our breakfast buffet for a nominal fee of 7. 50 EUR per person per day.
Hotel Best Western Hotel Stuttgart 21 is located near the main train station from Stuttgart (approx. 25min walk) or 2 stops with “U-Bahn” The Airport is at 11.4 km. The Hotel is a three-star hotel. It offers breakfast but has no restaurant. There are a gym and sauna in the basement.. When I stayed at this hotel, there was big refurbishments such as some rooms improvement which I didn't know otherwise I didn't have booked this hotel. Positive: - Mall “Milaneo” only 0.3 km distance - U-Bahn stop not far (5min walk) Negative: - WIFI very very slow and disconnect a lot of times - Sauna not working well (too cold) - Refurbishment of the hotel (very noisy as they started at 6am in the morning) - One bottle of water offered during the entire stay (3 nights) - No restaurants - Staff not very friendly Honestly, I would not recommend this hotel based on price paid. Not really satisfied from what I get.
The hotel is very near to the station yet if you have handful then it is worth walking uphill to the hotel otherwise it is 8 EUR by taxi. Breakfast unlike most European hotel it is nice with options. The food quality is nice. They dont have no other food option like for dinner or lunch, but they can assist with doorstep delivery from reliable food supply from near by pizza shop or kebab shops. The room at first glance if you are going from most asian country will look small but its better than most otherhotels at that price point. The place is clean and the staff is super helpful and efficient. Highly recommended for budget stay.
The good things: clean linen, quite nice beds, nice bathroom, warm room (which was very important for January), close to railway station and a big mall with nice restaurants around. Unfortunatelly there were no fridge, the kettle was broken and there were no black tea (and, yes, I'm a fan of black tee). The access to railway station is also not very comfortable if you walk on feet with heavy bags and little kids (high ladder is a problem with luggage, though you can try to find another way). So a location for a short stay on your trip between two other places is good. But be carefull if you travel with family or plan to stay longer than just a couple of nights.
The hotel is always very nice and close to city center and station . The personnel is friendly and proactive. The rooms are very clean and comfortably equipped even the small single ones. Unfortunately the perfect service of transportation with a stop for the tramway U12 out in front of the hotel leading after 3 stops to the Station and with further 1 or 2 to the city center has been significantly worsened. The U12 route has been changed by the city council in late 2017 and moved one road down . The stop is now more far and uncomfortable with bag weather and heavy baggage. It's really a pity for a very good hotel.
Stay clear of this hotel. Simply not a good place. Crappy little rooms with low ceilings and ancient bathroom fixtures. Ghastly brekfast: scrambled eggs out of a can. Bad location. Limited parking that you have to pay for in additon to room.
Reception was friendly & Welcoming but a bit too choreographed, Roms were comfortable ,but the carpet was stained which gave me an uncomfortable feeling walking barefoot. Breakfast was very well presented and prepared , nice selection with everything you would need to start the day. It was a good value for money when staying overnight in Stuttgart and I would not hesitate to stay there again
Extremely clean and comfortable with helpful staff who went above and beyond in a foreign language to meet our every need. The owner and all staff members helped us plan our visits to museums and restaurants.
I was in this hotel at the end of June, a very hot period in Germany. The room had enough space and was well cleaned, but was very hot and there was not air conditioning. I can understand that for a three stars hotel it was not mandatory, but it was very difficult to sleep due to the very hot room. Moreover there wasn't a fridge on the room, so also the water became warm. Breakfast was sufficient, people at reception not very nice.
Great room with a balcony so I could smoke. Easy to get to transport around city and very helpful and friendly staff. I have stayed before and would stay again. Internet good and only downside was that they forgot to top up the sugar/coffee and there is no refrigerator in the room.
Our room was spacious, modern and clean but small things like the shower being broken were frustrating. Also in the night the lights in the hall were off and you had to walk back to the lift in pitch black, which as a group of young females was quite intimidating. The breakfast was average at best. The staff however bar one lovely young man were absolutely appalling. Simple requests like an extra pillow were refused, and when working out the bill they tried to overcharge us for so many things and when pointed out it was met by grumbles eye rolling huffing and general unpleasantness. The location is also poor.
I choose the hotel, while the hotel i normally stay at was booked. I stayed at the hotel for one night during a business trip. The hotel does not have a very central location, for the same price or even cheaper you can find hotels near Hauptbahnhof. The rooms were really small, one bed - small bathroom but clean. So it was ok. Breakfast is classic for Germany, but could be better. Again for the same price i had better breakfasts in other hotels. All in all, i can not say it is a bad hotel, but really not worth the price...
Our flight was cancelled so we had to stay in this hotel for the night and I was expecting something average because it was being paid by our airline company. I was surprised to discover that I was wrong! The room was very comfortable and big, the staff friendly and the breakfast was very good.
This hotel is perfectly fine but is not very convenient. I walked from the train station. While it was a little over a mile, the walked was in the rain. If you use this place, use the underground or tram. Otherwise, it is a good value. There is a great little German restaurant nearby too.
Nice room, close to transportation. Great breakfast. Nice size room with good hotel service. Staff was very accommodating to any needs. Very close to a large 200+ indoor mall with lots of shops and good food.
As I make a reservation for a hotel of Best Western, I always have a high standard in mind. At first I was a little bit disappointed : why : the hotel does not strike the eye, so we did not find it immediately. Thanks to the very helpful receptionist, we could find the hotel. Also the sight of the hotel looks old fashioned. The location of the hotel is very near to the centre of Stuttgart which is an important advantage if you want to go out. The building in the back is more modern... . The rooms look not very modern, but the most important things were very good : quality of the bed, hygiene, and breakfast. So all considered the stay was OK and the prices are very interesting.
I liked staying here. It is a little out of the way, but a very short walk to the U-train, so everything is easy to get to. My room was small, but comfortable. Breakfast was okay, but only cost 5 euro. Wifi worked well. They have a cozy lobby, I would stay here again.
This was an inexpensive hotel with a greart breakfast for only two euros extra . The staff were friendly . There is a nearby overground U-Bahn stop which is only two halts from city centre ( main rail station and tourist info office up a sloping walkway on Koenigstrasse ) The lift stuck the first time I used it , the lift stuck ! The TV Channels have no UK or USA channels eg no BBC or CNN . Apart from these quibbles , this was a good little hotel .
Excellent staff, clean, great bar. Great position to use as a base for touring all over Stuttgart and surrounding cities. Close to all Mercedes factories and headquarters. Restaurant open early for breakfast.
This hotel is a part of Best Western and is located near the Friedhffstrasse station (2 stops from the main train station) across the road from a cemetery and within a more residential area. The room itself was spacious and clean however a little noisy at night (we were on the ground floor). We checked into the hotel in the evening and after reading the hotel manual which stated that food and snacks were available in the room, we decided to order some room service. We called reception to place an order but was advised it was no longer offered and also that the restaurant on site only provided breakfast - keep in mind that the hotel is advertised as having an on site restaurant. We then asked for a recommendation for dinner and was advised there were only two restaurants nearby. On the second night of our stay we decided to venture a little further from the hotel (there had to be more than 2 restaurants nearby right?). On the next street over (Wolfamstrusse) there is a massive shopping mall with several places to eat (it is 3 stories high!) - this is about 10 minute walk from the hotel. I thought it was a little odd that the hotel staff neglected to mention this to us. During our stay, each time we passed the reception area (which was always pretty quiet) we were never greeted by the staff members on duty either .... So in summary this is a clean hotel, not close to the city centre with disengaged and disinterested staff - we won't be back.
The big advantage of the hotel is the fact that is quiet close to the city center. A tram station is only five minutes away from the hotel, so it is easy to go into center. The area is very quite because at the other side of the street there is a cemetery. The hotel itself it not brilliant but ok.
Hotel is 2 S-bahn stations (5min) from downtown Stuttgart (1.20Euro each way). Breakfast is good, coffee excellent. Parking is between 5 and 10 Euro/day. Room is average. Bed could use a new mattress.
We had a stunning stay at the Best Western. Great location, friendly staff and lovely accommodation. would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was very - lovely place. We went there on business last week and I must say I really enjoyed where it was and what we could do around the area
They claim its in the city. Actually on the outskirt across from a cemetery. You have to take a subway a few stops to get there. Not really a problem but I thought I could have walked to the main station. Otherwise the hotel is pretty nice and the staff are friendly and helpful.
