Best Western Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel

Made a mistake in my booking via a third party website. Asked for a waiver by this property via third party so I could change the dates and free up the room and then I could book another room with the correct dates. I was denied this option. So they can keep my money and loose a room for a night. I'm looking elsewhere. I'm not booking this property in the future.

Good basic hotel, very clean, very nice staff. But this is weird - they had a kitchen fire 18 months ago (we were here then) and they never rebuilt the kitchen, it is on big tables, with Igloo coolers, and plug-in burners, in the front of the hotel, as you drive up. Why no kitchen? Belive me it is funky. How is this legal? And yet they serve a very decent full breakfast. My only other complaint - they rent their parking spaces for long-term airport parking - so hotel guests come second - and you really, really have to hunt for a parking place, or park on a very busy street at night. Handy location.

This Best Western Plus Grosvenor House is a dated airport hotel that is falling behind in terms of facilities and operations. Rooms are dated and due for updates and improvements. Elevator inspection certificates have been expired since 2022. Not comforting. Breakfast was pretty good with hot food options although there were some broken machines, like a yogurt machine. Pool is closed, maybe seasonal I don't know. Restaurant and bar are closed, supposedly for renovations following a fire, although they didn't seem to be doing any repair or renovation work. Most importantly to me, the wifi was broken for most of my 3-night stay. I was depending on it for work zoom calls. Staff knew it was down but had no explanation and blamed “the company.” Staff was also unaware of any plan or schedule to fix it. This is not acceptable for an airport business hotel. Especially one that calls itself “plus.” Also, I was never told that there would be any parking charges, or what those charges would be, until checking out. Surprise, there are parking charges. Also not the right way to do business.

They may temporarily be operating without a restaurant, but they didn't skip a beat. Delicious Quesadillas fresh ingredients very attentive, excellent service. A great way to end a weekend getaway! The check- in process was easy, people at the front desk were very accommodating.

The lobby is beautiful! The rooms are fine. The bed is meh. The pillows (of which there are many!) are quite nice. The carpet in the room is MARKEDLY different than the hallway and lobby, which was actually noticeable to this person who notices little. I actually wouldn't have been surprised if there was a disco ball in the room based on the carpets! The room was completely appropriate for a hotel room. There were clearly areas that required a quick repair (which they did), and who really cares if we exact-knife the carpet around the door stop by the closet? It's fine. But, really. If you're paying for a safe place to get 6 hours of sleep in a relatively safe place, this is a perfectly fine location. It's only an 8-minute drive from the airport. We were there to pick up a relative on an early flight, so it was a good location.

I like the customer service in the front desk. The cleanliness of the rooms. the attention they have when you request an item for the room its quick. the breakfast area. the fitness room is great. Dinner is a bit pricey but its worth it.

No restaurant. Dirty rooms. No shuttle service between 10am and 5.30pm An old tired hotel that needs a major overhaul. And price is not representative with what it offers. Staff are friendly and try hard. They are doomed.

You can store your luggage free in this hotel too. The rate is competitive and long stay earns your extra points for future free stay too! The staff helped us arrange connecting rooms during the three times we stayed in this hotel during this long trip! EXCELLENT!

This dowager of an airport hotel is often value-priced, especially for BW members. The free airport shuttle is slow and sporadic. Noisy wall HVAC units, hard to sleep. Tired room furnishings and layout.

Found a couple of beer cans, water bottle and some fruits left in the mini bar A/C and heating system are too old this they operate poorly. Frozen food for breakfast… really?? I could hear my neighbors walking and talking all night long.

Landed @ 6:45 am and had a 12 hr layover. They gave me a room and I checked out at 4:40 pm. Most other hotels I checked with wouldn't accommodate me as I would be a really early check in time. Close to the airport, great staff. Affordable. Nice rooms and comfy bed. Imelda @ front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. Upgraded me to a king for free as I'm very tall.

Hotel close to airport. Arrived late, front clerk was very nice. Room clean, Continental Breakfast was good, they could offer just plain egg biscuits because everyone don't like burritos. Overall great breakfast. They offer lunch on site. Would stay there again. There are no good restaurants close by but, great place to stay. Would recommend!

Stayed here for a Convention. Breakfast was actually very good with a wide variety of items. Room was nice with a great view. HOWEVER my complaint lies with the airport shuttle. It's only available from 5am-10am and 5pm-10pm, extremely inconvenient. Any other hotel will operate it all day!! An uber is 20$ each way. Front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful though. Housekeeping tried to bang down my door at 9 in the morning screaming at me to check out. So, only minor complaints. For the cheap price, it was decent.

We stayed here the night before our flight home. We left pretty early in the morning, so I can't comment on breakfast. But our room was clean and comfortable. It's convenient to gas and places to eat. They do charge $10 for parking. It took less than 5 minutes to get to the airport the next morning, so I'd for sure stay here if I come back.

Hotel is beautiful I will definitely stay here again! The lobby is very welcoming and housekeeping foes a great job keeping the place clean. I woulf have liked the pool to be open but other than that it was a good stay!

Very help full reception breakfast is good rooms are clean and quiet the free shuttle is awesome no need to call cab or uber they just right there in the airport .highly recommended place to stay staff are courteous ....

Pool closed, booked in Dec. never informed of this. Unhelpful, unfriendly front desk staff. Breakfast is mediocre. Overall below average hotel, poor end of our holiday in the US, definitely the worst of all hotels and motels we stayed at the past 3 weeks.

Room service (cleaning etc.) is on request and no one tells you that during check-in and there are no messages on this in the room. And one needs to call for room service before 8.30 am One comes BK in the evening and it's too late to get room cleansing because it's post 8.30 am AC was not working properly and made sound like an ill maintained truck . It would switch in and off. Called guest service multiple times till 1 am or so and they kept saying they are sending maintainence but no one came I spent 2 nights at the hotel with no maintenance fixing the AC. I probably slept just a few hours every night Because of the AC noise .

The people behind the desk couldn't have been nicer, especially Imelda who helped me feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel was clean and my room was lovely. Unfortunately the kitchen burned a couple weeks ago which will take a couple months to get back up and running, but the staff did their best to deliver food to the guests, having an outdoor BBQ with a good choice of food, not gourmet, but certainly adequate. I'm assuming breakfast will be similar as the chef isn't even allowed in the kitchen so coffee and easy food choices will be the fare for the next few months. I can live without eggs. Stuff happens that is beyond their control. We understand, I hope. The only thing I would suggest is that they re-carpet the elevators as they and some of the halls are beginning to look a little shabby. Maybe a good shampooing would spruce that up a little. The shuttle service was wonderful - very near the airport. Guests Directory needs updating.

Breakfast was dull and stale along with few selections. Week before was better. Oh but the one banana I had was good. Only 3 cereal selections as well. Coffee was good along with choice of creamers. Staff inside breakfast area was good though. Choice of breakfast burritos were for lunch!!! Not an egg in them.

This Hotel is Very Nice and Comfortable. The Room was Fantastic and Very Clean. Loved the Bed and Had 4 Good Nights of Sleep. Good Location withy Parking. I Visit the Area Quite Often and Plan on Making this my Place to Stay.

4 Nights at This Hotel. All was Good until the Last Morning- I'm Disabled and They closed off over Half of the Area where Breakfast was Served and Where I Had Breakfast the last several Days. I Was Told to Take it to my Room, Think about it A Plate of Food, Cup of Coffee, With a Cane. It Doesn't Work Well. I Was Very Upset and Left the Hotel. Upon Arriving Home Later I Find a Restraint Charge that Never Happened. BEWARE of This PLACE

1st) this place has a shuttle even thought they do not advertise it. we normal rent a car when we come here. but this time we came in on amtrak and only stayed one night so no car was needed. we took bart from Amtrak to SFO and then spent 40 on Lyft to the hotel. only to find out they had a shuttle. other than that we have been coming here once a year for a few years and never have had a bad experience. staff is friendly. rooms are clean and smell nice. the only food we eat on site is the free breakfast and it is very good.

Easy to get to and from San Francisco. Parking is way cheaper here. Rooms are very clean and they have Breakfast and meals later on in the day. The Staff are GREAT !!!! The bar is Great and they have free Internet Service.

The proximity of this property close to SFO is a big plus. Easy access to the airport and ability to catch BART transportation to San Francisco and Oakland. The cost is generally very good, but it is important that you wait for a good price to come up, as prices vary widely. Breakfast is good and the rooms are clean and very adequate. Recommended (I've stayed 4 different time over 4 years)

The hotel was very welcoming and staff were friendly. The restaurant staff were prompt and cheerful and accommodating. The rooms were clean. I would've liked a warmer bedspread for the bed but other than that the experience was very enjoyable.

There is a fee for parking in hotels parking lot separate from your hotels reservation wich is not included in the reservation and they don't tell you they charge for parking until you check out it comes in ur bill

This is our usual overnight place before an early morning flight. Helpful staff, clean rooms, and no smoking in hotel. Breakfast is good and shuttle to airport timely. We always ask for an even numbered room so we don't hear the freeway sounds.

The Grosvenor is a top rate hotel with a great buffet breakfast. The staff is very welcoming and the room, amenities and fitness center are top notch. A very pleasant stay in a convenient location to SFO and a complimentary shuttle in the morning. Late at night, I was able to take SAM TRANS directly to the hotel. A very good stay.

I booked this hotel foe shuttle service from SFO to hotel. No service from 10:15 to 5:00 pm. Was not aware. Had to pay $30 to get from airport to hotel. Was charged for Executive King but did not receive all services. No breaks No breakfast before 6 am so if leaving early SOL. No hot breakfast anymore anyway.

Great find! Very pleased with this hotel and I tend to be selective. Friendly, cheery staff, very clean carpets/hallways, comfortable king bed. Good value for the price with hot breakfast and free airport shuttle included. Shuttle was super convenient for a morning flight. The front desk has the schedule so we could choose time the night before. I will definitely come back to this property. I don't have any complaints at all. Location is great for airport proximity. Wouldn't staff out here if I were spending most of my visit in the city.

Staff very unprofessional rooms with odor. I would not recommend this hotel. There are several other hotels in the area you may be better off staying there. Unfortunate. The beds were very uncomfortable as well.

They charged me twice for one night. Otherwise everything is okay, except the pool AND hot tub are close. The "free" shuttle driver is very rude if you don't give him money (no smile and no goodbye even tho I said thank you and have a great day three times... wow).

Lets talk about the price per night When we are looking for a budget hotel usually we don't expect something out of the money we're paying.In this case this hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. What to expect? Clean rooms Good breakfast(decent variety) Confy rooms with double beds and great window view Breakfast its the deal breaker if you have been in San Francisco as long as been you should know the least you can spend its 20$ per breakfast and this hotel breakfast offers what a Dennis or IHOP can offer with the price included.In my case wife and my kid would have been over 60$ each morning. The clean room factor is something we can't ignore specially in the state of California,some hotels are known for the opposite(not being clean) Lets talk about how easy the check out is Just drop your key in the box and thats it,its really that simple.No paperwork and minutes of your precious time. Safety in the parkings needs work When we got there 3 guys approach us to sell us drugs(in the parking) that needs to be taken care of for the safety of the others. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to the airport. With that being said,its probably one of the best budget hotels out there no exageration here. -Adrian Rivera

Parking atrocious had to search more than 25 minutes for parking. Had to park illegally then hours later moved car. Halls loud with staff and guest. My bathroom light was too loud to use. Counter staff, encountered only 2 friendly.

Even though the hotel is adjacent to SFO, we heard no aircraft. In fact the hotel is much quieter than downtown SF hotels- the reason we selected this hotel, even though my appointments were in midtown.

Surly desk agent. Broken amenities in room. Broken desk lamps and a toilet so low it was almost unusable! Bathroom was so tiny you could barely move in it! My absolute worst experience with Best Western Hotels in my life! Avoid this one at all costa!

Arrived from New Zealand at around 1 pm only problem was no shuttle available but kind shuttle bus driver took me to the hotel. Check in was easy and did not have to wait got into room right away. Room was nice and clean and bathroom was fine. Shower had really hot water and very strong pressure. Had dinner in the restaurant in the second night and food was good. Had potato skins and Cobb salad which was yummy. Had a vodka cranberry for a drink and joined the people at the bar for a wonderful night of chatting and drinking. Will definitely stay next time I am in San Francisco

Parking was plentiful, outside of the building was well kept. My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was soft yet firm. Pillows were non feather but plush just the same, plenty of firmness also. Bathroom was clean and all the amenities. HVAC worked well. TV had plenty of channels for surfing. Thanks BW SFO staff

Very nice hotel! The people are very accommodating from the staff to the Managers. You can tell that they love what they're doing :) They make you feel at home. The food was good too! And restaurant staff were very polite. Very satisfied with our stay!

Very roomy Hotel, good size bedroom, no noise even though we were by the lifts, and staff very friendly and helpful. Large breakfast area and big variety of hot and cold food available. Cant fault the location either, although we could hear the aircraft but its an airport Hotel so its what you expect but didnt affect our sleep. No problem eating with Dennys and i hop nearby. Hotel shuffle only operates morning and after 5 pm but we used it every day to get to the airport and the Bart. Would happily stay there again.

Stayed here on return from international trip. Used and appreciated the airport shuttle and the included breakfast was high quality. The location is very loud, even forcing airport location, with freeway, street noise and local music. Also the air system is older style and deafening noisy.

A very disappointing stay. Almost every aspect of the stay was flawed. First the possibly criminal activity. I arrived early and needed to check a bag as I needed to return to checkin. Upon getting to my room I noticed er that every zippered area in my suitcase has been opened and was rummaged through. There was nothing of value, so nothing taken. However the front desk staff basically blamed me and said they have no responsibility. If I had other reasonable alternatives, I'd have walked away then. Room, overpriced with no housekeeping. Never told there would be no housekeeping. Not that it would matter with hairs in the tub and a refrigerator that has apparently never been cleaned. Also the HVAC fascists turned off the AC for the room. Relatively warm September days and an uncomfortable room temperature. Relatively bright spots: a full breakfast (that was never what I'd call hot) but a relatively friendly dining room team, and the airport shuttle drivers are friendly. However note the very limited hours of shuttle service. Final note: top tier Best Western loyalty member, no recognition and no benefits received.

Loved my stay at this hotel. Very comfortable room and very easy check in process. Shuttle took us to SFO at 6:30 in the morning. Right no time. Very good breakfast. Best part was the very fast Internet speed. I needed to download some key business documents and they came through very smoothly

Excellent service and the front desk was amazing and professional. Rooms were nice and clean and kept up perfectly. I would recommend this establishment and the restaurant food was really good too. Non-smoking facility with close proximity to San Francisco airport.

The battery in the smoke alarm went out at 3AM and was told by an unfriendly manager that they don't change them until they go out. No discount on room even though my vacation the next day was ruined because we were so tired. Stay at your risk of little sleep. Apparently that's not the hotels concern. Windows are so dirty you can barely see out them.

Checked in with Bianca at the front desk. She was super helpful and pleasant. She was able to get our two rooms on the same floor. The room was large and the king bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was small but workable. Had dinner in the dining room and the service and food was exceptional. Also had breakfast before checking out. Lots of choices at the included buffet. The only issue I encountered was the elevator. Only one of the two elevators were working and the one that did work had glitches. It would go down after someone got off at a lower floor instead of continuing to an upper floor even after pushing the higher floor button. Other than the elevator, we had a pleasant stay.

What was not great? Let me count the ways: 1. They never gave me a confirmation email. 2. The pool is out of service (and it sounds like it has been for some time). This was my prime reason for choosing this location, the support staff just laughed when I asked. 3. One of the elevators was out of service. 4. The elevator will randomly decide to not stop at your floor to pick you up. Over the course of two days I waited at least 15 minutes on my floor for the elevator to come. I had to use the staff elevator multiple times. 5. The breakfast scrambled "eggs" were more akin to a smoothie 6. I had to call multiple times for me to get my receipt sent to me. 7. The faucet did not work. 8. The luxury to park a vehicle was an additional $9 This is just what I recall off the top of my head. Would not recommend.

Booked this hotel because it was close to the airport but didn't realize (as I am not from the area) that is about two minutes away from the rental car return which ended up being a huge bonus for us. Good quality Hotel with a nice breakfast the next morning. No complaints at all.

My husband and I always stay at the Best Western Plus Grosevenor Hotel when we visit San Francisco. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is amazing, the full breakfast is wonderful, and the beds are comfortable. The only problems we had with our recent stay was a problem with the internet, and I am not sure it was the hotel's fault because I have been having problems with my laptop and when we opened the door, there was a paper napkin on the floor. Everything else was awesome. Thank you to the wonderful gentleman who checked us in, we appreciated your kindness.

My family stayed 4 days in this hotel. We spoke the problem regarding the wifi which is important to continue the work online. The hotel request us to contact directly the wifi company to resolve the problem by ourselves. We have complained through our staying and it's only on the third day they are trying to resolve the wifi problem when they told its been several days before our staying. I'm disappointed because the rest of the service is good and the hotel looked welcoming... Such a waste.

I stay at a lot of Best Westerns and this one lives up to the "plus". Upgraded amenities and inside, a really nice vibe. Does not take long to get to San Francisco. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Compared to the next plus hotel I stayed in, this hotel was incredible. It is an airport hotel, mostly meant for convenience to the airport but we chose it for our San Francisco sight seeing because it was less expensive and very close to the freeways...which meant being able to get out of town easier. Thus we gave up a certain ambiance but the inside was nicer than most Best Westerns. They do charge for parking...even for elite status which threw me off a little.

Beautiful hotel. Large rooms. Clean. Great breakfast. Comfy beds. Check in was easy. Staff were great. Great airport location. Highly recommend Best Western hotels. Business center was perfect. Give this place 5 stars.

I can't say enough good things about the staff at this Best Western. ...always there, quick to respond, very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. An excellent accomodation for anyone flying in and out of SFO. Centralized location and short drive to shopping and about 30-40 minutes drive to San Francisco. Clean rooms and excellent breakfast.

Over past year the hotel was really nice and got better by updating everything. The carpets the rooms and all and it is very comfortable to stay at !!!! It is really easy to get to/from san Francisco and parking there is way cheaper then in the city. Better yet if you have a very early flight you are close to the airport and don't have to rush to get to your flight !!!

Upon arrival the lobby looked very elegant. I was actually surprised how well put the whole thing was. I booked a block of four rooms for the weekend (july 15-18) as we had an event in their banquet hall. Three of the four rooms requested housekeeping for a general clean up and not once did they show up. Even just asking for extra towels, my guests were ignored. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk we were told "well, they should have asked before 930 am" when we had told them that they did so before that time we were given a whole "Oh well" type attitude. I asked them directly if there was a sign or disclaimer indicating if guests needed to do that before 930am and they said no there wasn't. So how does that make any sense? My IN LAWS stayed in a hotel that provided no extra towels or even garbage pick up. Not only that but THEY had to clean and wipe down their own bathrooms because of how dusty it was. I mean, cmon can you imagine how embarrassing it is to have your in laws fly from out of state and this is the first taste of the Bay Area they get?

After a long day in the city it was disappointing to come back to a very hard bed felt like sleeping on cement or a board. We tried to get used to it but just tossed and turned was too tired and was late to switch rooms. The noise was everywhere as thin walls and the doors slammed shut night and morning as guests closed them. maybe heavy doors and very little bathroom counter most behind the toilet so yes was disappointing. Front staff was okay housekeeping friendly. We woke to sore backs sides for our drive home, oh the fun.

I had a great, enjoyable stay at the BW Plus Grosvenor. It was an easy check-in and parking process. My room was clean, quiet and had all the amenities I needed. There's a restaurant conveniently on property that serves excellent food. Most importantly, the staff was all very helpful and hospitable. I would definitely stay here again for work or leisure. Thank you!

The only thing DIRTIER than the rooms was the check in service. Mr. J.Li was great. However, the SLUG on duty the 4th & 5th was horrible. Of course a unprofessional, rude and slob would not wear a name tag.

I loved everything about this hotel from the cleanliness to the service. The level of service was outstanding. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent. If you're looking for a hotel that's not in the downtown area but can get to everything quickly this is the one.

The service was outstanding, the food was pretty good, very clean industrial area. There was a couple food restaurants also walking distance and a Costco across the street. Also the Costco fuel station across was great. The down side was the pool was closed. Not sure why but this was the reason we stayed here. Almost feel cheated with the pool unavailable as hot as it was there.

This is definitely an ok hotel.Room was clean although the corner room I had was small.Breakfast is included although I left early so had no chance to try this.At the time they did not appear to be any food service for other meals although I later found out the hotel does have a limited bar food service from 5pm untill 9pm.There is also a McDonald's over the road from the hotel. Not many staff members around when I checked in.Staff were ok but difficult to find.No staff were around at all in the morning when I went to catch the shuttle.The hotel does also offer a park and ride service which is much cheaper than parking at the airport. Overall would probably stay here again

I have stayed here a few times. Thought I would give them a pass and it would be better the next time. Was given a room which had not been cleaned. Then I was moved to a room where the A/C was so loud that I had the TV at 90. Asked to be moved. Third room was a charm Next trip. No shower gel in the dispenser in the shower. Used shampoo Third and last time 2 days ago. The sheer curtains were ripped. I have pictures One was 3 feet long and another was about 2 feet in length. Also Heater was noisy but i had changed so did not ask for another room. It went on and off all night needless to say I did not sleep. I have been staying at this place for over 25 years. It was always a very well maintained facilty. Not anymore

We were excited to find this hotel close to the SFO airport as our 2 adult children and their spouses were arriving late at night. Hotel advertised a shuttle to the airport. However it stopped at 11 pm so we did our own pickups. Kind of thought the hotel might make accommodations for this but no. In fairness looking at the website it did say shuttle to the airport so I guess no pickups are made? Worst part of our stay was being put in a room that was definitely smoked in. The window was open in the room upon entering so I'm sure the staff knew. Wasn't asked to move and was told they'd send someone to spray which didn't happen. We didn't ask to move because our children were right next door and we really didn't realize how bad it was till later after leaving right away for dinner. Otherwise a very good location close to airport and good price. Breakfast was also very good

I was only there for one day but I loved my room. The staff was friendly, very helpful and professional. I would stay there again. The location was perfect for my business day in San Francisco. Great Team!

I've stayed at this hotel from time to time for over 20 years. Over that time they have continued not only a high level of maintenance, but have consistently upgraded the property. It's a great place to stay when flying in and out of SFO. They have the best hotel breakfast ever!

This hotel was very clean and in a good area! I would highly recommend to anyone! The bed was super nice and comfortable and the rooms were a good size. The service was very nice. Everyone there was extremely helpful.

Waited over an hour for shuttle bus, it would be quicker to walk, when I phoned hotel to ask where the bus was and express my frustration a "gentleman" named Jason asked what plane I got off,, however as o had not got off plane told me "whatever". Kept on hold, manager AJ came on the phone with no rational for unpleasant and unprofessional manner of Jason or reason for shuttle service not attending terminal. Only possible rational is shuttle service does not attend if not pre booked?? Waited over 90 minutes in total. Shuttle service never turned up. Atrempted to phone Hotel however they never answered courtesy phone

The shuttle only runs every 45 minutes but when you land you have no idea what time to expect it. It appears other hotels are more frequent than this one. The room was comfortable for the 10 hours we were in it! The breakfast is basic. Not worth the $180 a night Would I return? No

I had a really nice stay at the BW Grosvenor. Pleasant check-in experience and good info given regarding my stay. Also recommended which shuttle time to take for my flight. My room had a comfortable queen size bed and lovely little bathroom with shower/bath combination. Coffee maker and sachets. Breakfast provided was substantial given the covid situation and I was plenty full after it. Shuttle service to airport and back was good. Only thing I noticed was quite a bit of cold & road noise in my room coming via the window so perhaps could have better sealing or insulation or something but the heater worked well in the room to keep it warm. Check out also from nice staff member and they changed some money into smaller denominations which was great. Well done!

Old, dated hotel with unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Also no one around to check out (we waited 15 minutes then had to leave on courtesy bus and call hotel later to check out) and hotel guests' personal data left lying around for anyone to pick up. Finally, only one courtesy bus an hour and hotel did not provide accurate timings so we stood in cold for 55 minutes…had we been told this, we would have got a taxi. The fact we weren't told it when the hotel knew we had two young children, was not good. Very disappointing stay.

BW Plus Grosvenor in South San Francisco is a good value in the Bay Area near the airport. It is a convenient location with easy access to the freeway and less than a five minute drive to San Francisco International. Free hot breakfast every morning, free W-Fi, and shuttle bus service to the airport, Room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

Affordable price. Staff are friendly, He let me check in earlier, Good choices of food. Clean and presentable. However the shuttle runs on schedule which is not good, Location is good. Near the airport, Restaurant nearby.

Just to the North of SFO and a short van ride away. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Checking in staff answered questions and recognized my BW status. Hot breakfast has returned, good selection on item although the day I was there the protein was corned beef hash which I am not a fan of. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. First impression was one of the more impressive Best Westerns. Used the van service which was on time and very helpful. Disappointed that parking was an extra charge, like many hotels this one sells parking space to those traveling through SFO. I will stay here again, the best part is the staff!

This Hotel is close to San Francisco. The parking rate is way less then if you stay in San Francisco. The staff are Great and the Hotel is Amazing !!! All the rooms have been updated to be the BEST !!!

Helpful staff, comfortable room with very good beds. Tiny bathroom. Hope you like fragrant shampoo, conditioner, body wash (I need unscented). Clean. Good hot breakfast. Appreciated the shuttle service. Very good value for an airport overnight stay

It was a nice stay, very comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful! Plus it was close to the airport and a bus line to get around the city! Who could go wrong? You get a complimentary breakfast to start your day!!

We stayed at the Best Western for three nights while visiting SF. Price and location seemed reasonable as it was close to SFO airport. We were very disappointed with our stay. The bed covers were very light and not warm, our window was broken so hard to open and close, the heating system was very noisy. Our neighbors were also noisy and we called the front desk several times before they finally called them to ask them to keep it down. Staff was rarely at the front desk and we had to wait wondering where the staff was. The breakfast was very minimal and not tasty, one morning hot pockets were offered for breakfast. I would not stay here again

First time staying at the hotel. The place was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price for the hotel and park and fly wa reasonable. Shuttle to the airport was on time and clean. I will stay here again.

Just a stone throw away from the airport, not a lot of noise from air traffic. Basic rooms, which have seen better days, but they are clean. Great choice for breakfast. Big parking space. Friendly staff.

We needed a hotel after a flight to stay over before a cruise the next day. This place fit the bill. Its an older hotel, but everything is clean and it works. I liked the full breakfast buffet in the morning especially after months of grab and go due to COVID. Only complaint was the bed was to firm for me. All in all a good stay close to SFO.

I am a travel nurse and cleanliness, comfort and safety are consistently my main concerns. This hotel checks all of the boxes. Added full breakfast with vending machines and a washer and dryer in the building, make this location perfect for a travel professional. Oh, and last, but certainly not least, the entire front desk team has been amazing! Please note the shuttle has a restricted time schedule due to Covid. Thank you Best Western.

Stayed for Outside Lands Festival recently. Loved that it was so close to the airport, and they offer a free shuttle service (5AM-10AM / 5PM-10PM). They were able to hold our bags for free also, my boyfriend really liked that. Stay was great, hotel/room was good & very clean. Parking is $9 a night, I didn't have a car parked overnight. The restaurant in the lobby charges $18 just to deliver it to your room.. no idea why, that's ridiculous. We just ordered to-go and picked it up ourselves. Service was wonderful but once I gave them some travel (gift) cards to apply to my bill, they took more than needed from them, offered to credit my credit card then at check out apparently couldn't do that so they gave cash. Took 3-4 agents to get all this settled by check out. I would come back but hope that the accuracy on my bill is better settled next time.

I stayed for 2 nights, visiting my newly born grandson. It was my first time staying at a BW after COVID, so I did not know what to expect. I had a pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was good. Breakfast was also good, though limited, which could be due to the ongoing COVID situation. I arrived late the first night and finding parking was a little bit of a challenge due to hotel being busy. The second night, I also came back late but there were plenty of parking spaces left.

I've stayed here more than once and like the location, some store around the area for bottle water or small things that you might need. Free breakfast which is plus if you have time to get out of bed.

This property is a step above many BW Plus. It feels more upscale, the services more polished. The breakfast was all so better than most. It's a dependable shuttle ride (which runs frequently) to and from the airport. There are a couple of BART options: ride the shuttle to the airport, or Uber to nearby shopping center. We ended up staying an extra day due to a change in plans, so we day tripped into San Francisco. The staff was helpful and accommodating. My only complaint (and this is personal) is the bed could have been just a bit less firm. Will stay here again when in the area!

Convenient location, close to the airport. Clean room, friendly staff. I stay at Best Westerns quite often and Best Western Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel was the only one, that actually acknowledged my Diamond status, which was very nice. The grab and go breakfast bag was very limited. Parking is $9.

Really clean room really clean area in general. Nice view from the window . We had a nice breakfast to follow in morning bed We're comfortable. Attendants were very friendly. Elevators catch where needed to go quick.

Nice clean hotel, close to the airport. Restaurants has pretty decent food and prices. Hot breakfast available. Small outdoor pool. This hotel see alot of airport travelers and is not in a tourist area. Only about 15 minutes from San Francisco itself. Would stay here again.

I stay at this hotel between 4 and 8 times a year. I have never been disappointed and am usually pleased. The staff has always been pleasant and the restaurant is adequate or better. Rooms are always clean and I like the beds.

We stayed here our last night in the Bay Area. Rather than riding BART to the airport (and paying about $10) before waiting for the every 45 minute shuttle, we took the #292 bus from near the Embarcadero for $2.25 (adult) and $1.10 (over 65). There were no changes, and it stopped about 2 blocks from the hotel by the IHOP. It took just over an hour and wasn't crowded so it worked perfectly and was safe and very cost efficient and timewise as well due to the shuttle times. We walked in and were checked in by a guy behind a glass wall to Room #803. The room connected on each side to other rooms, but I think they were both unoccupied so no noise issues. The bed was decent. The pillows were firm, but one was not enough and two provided too much elevation. The TV got 30 or so channels, but no HGTV, out go-to channel when in hotels? The bathroom was showing its age with lots of repaired patched areas. The towels were great but amenities were limited since dispensers were there for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I think there was one bar of soap and one tube of hand lotion. The bathroom light worked with timer. The corner chair nice for TV watching and more. Fridge, coffee maker, and safe but no microwave. Our view was to west of highway and Hills. Better breakfast than expected with scrambled eggs, sausage links, diced potatoes plus breads, cereals, and more all inclusive w room. Restaurant for dinner not too good but not included in hotel's overall rating. See separate review for that. Check-in and check-out efficient, Bill correct as should be. Another stay possible due to its ranking of hotel area hotels and the reason we chose this one over our usual IHG and Hilton choices? Can't imagine how bad the other airport hotels must be if this one is #3? I would walk to IHOP or even McDonalds before eating dinner here again, however. Everyone was friendly. Shuttle to airport runs every 45 minutes during select hours in morning and late afternoon. Shared shuttle with 2 other nearby hotels. Driver was entertaining. Overall, a 3.5 for hotel but much lower for Brass Elephant Restaurant.

Pillows were flat, the bed gave me a terrible backache and the walls are thin. Forget trying to rinse the shampoo out of your hair if you have thick hair, the shower flow was low AF. We seriously contemplated checking out a day early. 10/10 would not stay here again

My family and I had a very early morning international flight at SFO, so we decided to stay close the night before. We chose best western because we always know we will get a clean room, great service and good prices! Our front desk check in was quick and the receptionists that helped us were kind and caring. Check out was a breeze. The rooms were great, super close to the airport and also close to a ton of cute little restaurants. We were happy with the whole stay!

This hotel is bigger than normal Bestwestern plus hotels and has 9 floors. The lobby is small and has two elevators. Overall appearance seems a little old, but the room is clean and more modern look and feel, better than the lobby and overall outlook. Also the price is lower than near by hotels, so no complaints.

The Coutsey shuttle never showed up and I waited and Waited. I ended up taking a taxi or whatever he was to the hotel it cost me 35$ to go two miles This fumble was made up for by excellent day desk service and lounge and restaurant staff

I stay at this Hotel all the time. Since the last time I have been there they have upgraded everything to make your stay so Amazing. The New Beds and Pillows are the most comfortableness Bed and Pillows I have even slept in to make my stay AMAZING !!!! The rooms are upgraded as well !!! The Staff are Great and to go to and from San Francisco only only so many minutes away.

Great stay with reasonable price! Lobby was clean, breakfast was free and great to-go options, beds were comfortable, and the option to have a microwave brought up was nice. The only cons was that the bathroom door would jam when trying to get out, and the air conditioner/heater in the room was not working.

We reserved a room for 3. The suite had a queen in one room and a pull out sofa bed in separate room. There were no linens on the pull out sofa and no pillow. The mattress was stained and worn to the point that it should have beef discarded long ago. No apology. They gave us a another room and we encountered the exact same problem. They also neglected to leave soap and a third towel. Again, no apology. Won't be coming back. I'm throwing my Best Western Rewards card away.

It is a wonderful place to stay near the airport. The courtesy shuttle was a big plus. The front desk people were very helpful. The printer in the lobby was very useful to take the covid related documents printouts for travel.

Great service, quick check in. Only had 1 issue whereas our toilet wouldn't flush so we had to relocate to another room 4 rooms down the hall. But we were quickly relocated in admit 20 minutes. Besides that it was enjoyable weekend stay.

The hotel is very clean and quiet. Our only complaint was the coffee machine in the room did not work, however, there was fresh coffee downstairs. The workers were all very pleasant and willing to help.

Reasonable pricing and great customer service ! Rooms are always clean and smell clean . Beds are comfortable and this location is convenient. Not a super busy area and close to SF airport. Close to gas station and restaurants.

I have stayed at this property a few times in the past. Unfortunately, I forgot about their shortcomings and booked again. Upon checking in and after the cancellation deadline, I was told that I had to pay 9.00 for the first night to stay there. They do not have a shuttle service so almost all guest have to park on site. Note that if you stay more than one night the parking fee increases to 10.00 per night! Why is that? So, add 10% or so to the rate you think you are paying. This property does not provide microwaves in the rooms so forget about reheating your pizza or Chinese food. The fridge is very small with no freezer compartment. The "free" breakfast consists of some cold items and a breakfast sandwich that needs 2-3 minutes to heat in the microwave of which there is only one. There were 7 people ahead of me. Do the math This property is located near SFO but so is the Holiday Inn Express across the street. TRy them

The staff here goes out of their way to make sure you are confortable and well taken care of, even with the restrictions that they are still working under. I could not have been more impressed with the professalism and how nice they were to all of their guest even some that I personally would of thron out.

I stay here at least twice a month, and usually more than that. Living and working from home in a small San Francisco one bedroom apartment during a pandemic with your spouse - isn't the greatest for when your job requires writing and making presentations and webinars. Also, I have another partner I want to spend time with. This hotel has everything you would want for a quiet and affordable work space. It has a nice sized desk, with a lamp with usb ports and 3 hole plug outlets, and office chair. It's very clean, quiet hotel, with free wifi, very nice rooms, comfortable beds, nice linens, modern flat-screen TVs with HDMI ports, and the friendliest staff. The rooms have an upscale feel, with granite bathroom counters and wood. It's an incredible value, and love that the guests are everyone from families with kids, high school debate teams, airline people, essential workers....all ethnicities and diverse. As a BIPOC in a POC interracial relationship, I feel welcome with my other partner, here. All of the app delivery services come here, so getting food is no problem, and there is a McDonald's across the street and a gas station with snacks and food within walking distance. For an airport hotel- it is quiet- you aren't hearing airplanes. I am compassionate and empathetic to the homeless crisis in the Bay Area, but sincerely (yet guiltely) appreciate that this particular hotel is not in the midst of the encampments or being used as part of the housing solution. The staff always makes me feel welcome, and are very helpful and want you to have a good stay. This hotel has earned my loyalty!!!!!!!!! I've tried a few other hotels in the area- but this is the best, with the most bang for your buck, hands down.

In thinking of a good please to spend some quality time together as a family. We couldn't think of any place but San Francisco. We loved the weather and the people. Our Best Western stay provided us with that opportunity. Thank you for making us feel welcomed and appreciated.

The hotel offered a lot of options for ordering room service and food. Further, the room and bathroom were clean. The carpet almost looked brand new! The modified breakfast offered loads of options and was satisfying. The only down point was the gentlemen who checked me in at night was smoking outside the lobby and wasn't welcoming. He wasn't rude, however, he lacked energy.. Moreover, the hotel is located about 20 minutes from San Franciso and all of the tourist locations. It was super easy to find Lyft drivers to take us to the bay and back. Also, living by the airport allowed us to avoid the homeless population in downtown..

Good place to stay if you are flying out of SFO. Not far from the rental car return and there is a gas station between the hyw. exit and the hotel to fill up your rental before the return. The only thing missing was a bottle opener and a microwave. Did not get to check out the restaurants in the area.

The current COVID crisis has brought hotel rates down in the SF bay area and this property is quite a good deal if you're in the area and need an affordable option. It's a comfortable, clean property, with friendly staff, but the location is a bit odd and it definitely has issues. Based on the low rates, most are forgivable, but in normal times, they'd be quite annoying problems. One important note that I've seen other reviewers complaing about is that the free airport shuttle to and from SFO isn't running. That's true. It's not. You can either take a taxi or an Uber, but with a little bit of effort, you can also take the local bus (number 292) which for $2.25 will take you from SFO to around 100 metres from the hotel door and back again for the same fare. This same bus will also take you all the way to downtown San Francisco for the same fare. Considering the remoteness of the hotel, that's a good option if you don't have a car. The hotel is fairly modern and not particularly inviting. Everything in the lobby and public areas is dark wood, but it's all kept clean and tidy. COVID practices are in full force and you must wear a mask at all times and keep your distance. Only 2 people in the elevator etc. Some guests were clearly ignoring these rules, but most seemed to be following them. Check in is easy even though it's mainly done through touch screens etc. The rooms are large and relatively comfortable. I had a few problems when I checked in, but they quickly changed me to another room without any fuss. The rooms just need a refresh. They're perfectly clean and relatively comfortable. They just look tired. Vinyl drapes, worn out desk chair, old easy chair, worn carpeting. It's all just a little shabby. WIFI is free and reliable, but every day, you have to log in all over again with the password. There's a fridge, which is quite noisy and a flat screen TV, but I never switched it on, so I don't know what channels are offered. There's a safe, ironing board, iron, good closet space, room for bags, coffee maker. Currently there's no house keeping automatically. If you need it, you just need to ask. As I had an extended stay, I asked for a microwave and they eventually found me one. There is a limited supply. Bathrooms are little cramped and the water pressure is weak. You can't really get your hands under the fawcet in the basin and the shower isn't very strong. There's shampoo and shower gel, but the gel ran out and took forever to replace. Thankfully there's also a small bar of soap. Towels were clean and fresh. The beds are comfortable and the linens clean and fresh. Unfortunately, noise is the biggest let down of the property. You can hear a lot of what your neighbours are up to. Most of it you don't want to hear. When the couple in the next room are having fun, you'll really know it. As the beds back on to the same wall, you'll be shaking just as much as they are. Noise from the corridors is bad. Guests just don't seem to care that they're in a hotel and people might be sleeping. Not really the hotel's fault, but soundproofing could be improved. Breakfast is included in the rate before 9AM. There's tea, coffee, juice, pastries, bananas, apples, boiled eggs and a breakfast sandwich you can heat quickly. It's poor quality, but it's better than nothing for sure. Some yogurt would be really appreciated and a bit more variety, but this is a hotel property, so guests staying multiple nights are probably rare, thus they don't see the need to change the daily menu. All in all, a good option. Particularly at the current rate. But in all honesty, the current rate is all it's worth. When the COVID crisis is over, I'm sure the rates will leap back up again and yet, all the issues with the hotel will still exist. The pool is currently closed, as is the work out room and business centre, so they're not providing anything on top of the room and grab n go breakfast. For the rate, it's worth it.

It's was a nice mini vacation away from home. Everyone was nice and the facility was very clean. Best Western of SSF served a very nutritious continental breakfast and fresh coffee as well. Thank you!!

Decent hotel but showing its age. This hotel has on on site restaraunt with a very limited and expensive menu. All the more frustrating because the rooms do not have microwave ovens nor freezers in the refrigerators. Because almost all food in the area is obtained on a to go basis you will not be able to heat or reheat food. The TV has a very limited channel selection and none of the guides or other options work. The room itself was okay and clean. You are not told that there is a 9.00 a day parking fee until you are handed the permit to hang from your mirror. This is just nickel and diming the guests to make the room cost seem more reasonable. This property is not very high on my repeat list.

I know that it is a challenging environment now for travel but this spot fails on so many levels. I booked here with the promise of an airport transfer yet they told me they discontinued it in May due to Covid (I fail to see the relationship other than economic for the hotel to blame a virus) yet their website displayed then and displays now this amenity as available. So in addition to $80 for the room it's another $60 for a taxi. Also, no internet for my device and their help desk was little help ( other than giving me the chance to chat with someone for an hour) failed in getting me connected. Since there are no services here you might as well stay at the Travelodge where lower expectations mean You won't be so grievously disappointed.

Best Western Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel did everything possible as far as I could see to keep there employees and guests safe during Covid-19. Miss the morning hot breakfast but the food they offered during this time was acceptable under the circumstances.

The staff was friendly and courteous they have great service especially during covid-19. The lobby area has social distancing in place. The rooms are cleaned and sanitized, they also clean at the request of each guest. They are very accommodating with extra request like a microwave in the bed room, extra blankets and rollout beds. The breakfast is all prepackaged and Is still a welcoming addition since covid-19 has forced many hotels to remove all breakfast and amenities for travellers.

I stay at the Best Western every weekend for business and love every experience I've had and never have any issues and the staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and very accommodating out of all hotels they were the Only one who made sure my early morning check ins were available

This is my go-to hotel in these Covid-19 times. I go here to get away and write, do recorded Zoom presentations and classes, and spend time with my non-nesting partner. I come here several times a month. I trust how they clean for Covid-19, and the seriousness they take in maintaining safety for guests. It's high value for what you receive as a guest. There is parking, free Wifi, air conditioning, comfy beds, and a fridge in every room. The TV is great, as it is able to use a Roku Stick, and watch things on the streaming apps. I book directly on the Best Western site, and as a rewards member, get great deals on the room. Best Western often runs promotions, with free night stays, or BW gift cards for money off future stays. CouponCabin also gives you cashback rewards for using BW. After staying at this particular hotel over the course of 2020, I've become Platinum status. I recently discovered the King Suite, and will book it for future visits with my partner- it has two bathrooms! After checking out different hotels in SF and this area, I return here due to the consistent friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, safety, comfort, and price.

The Best Western Grosvenor Hotel is the Best Hotel to stay at while visiting San Francisco or the Bay Area. The staff are Amazing and if you have a problem they are right on top of it to get things fixed. If you have a car while there in town their Parking Fee is $9 vs paying $20 - $50 Dollars a Night at hotels in San Francisco. You are only 10 - 20 minutes from Downtown San Francisco depending the time you are heading to san Francisco. You are Five Minutes from the airport. The rooms and hallways here are very clean, nice looking and have everything you need to enjoy your stay !!!! The beds are Very Comfortable !!!

The hotel staff and my room was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be close to Fort Funston, San Bruno/Daly City etc., The Golden Gate Bridge and downtown San Francisco from this centrally located near the airport location. Loved this place because I could park here overnight and sleep in for less than $10.00 per day. Downtown hotels parking alone can run as high $50.00 overnight. I did not mind the less than 20 mins. drive into downtown.

Overall good hotel... I understand because of COVID 19, there are many limited services such as breakfast, cleaning staff and pool is closed. Took a little longer than expected to check-in since room was not ready when came in at 3pm. Suite Room was fantastic for our group of 5, it fits perfectly and a plus side is having 2 bathrooms and 2 rooms. I chose this hotel because of the reasonable price and only 20 minutes drive to San Francisco.

We stayed for just one night (thankfully) before our flight home the following morning. Hotel is within good proximity of SFO, so that is a plus. It is in a decent location. Lobby is nice and updated. Check-in was longer than usual (and there was no line; I went straight to the counter). I feel it was overpriced for what I had received and parking is $9 per night. I had reserved a King bed room and we settled for two doubles. The bed was ok and the bathroom is very small. Room was not all that clean; there were chips crumbs, etc. on the carpet. Shampoo was completely out in the shower dispenser - what does housekeeping do when they are supposed to be freshening up the room? I was awake most of the night from other guests constantly slamming doors shut and opening them. Our room was facing the street and traffic is loud. Motorcycle screaming past, etc.

A wonderful cool stay at BestWestern Airport San Francisco was just what my family and I needed to escape our Central California heat. We had a great time! BestWestern personnel made a difference on deciding IF we should do it or not. We counted on their COVID 19 precautions, and that's exactly what we got in addition to peace of mind and FUN. I've been coming to this hotel several times a month since January, as I live locally, but not with my partner. I also needed a space outside of my house to work(I freelance and write). We first discovered this place through a hotel booking site, and got hooked. It's super clean, the beds are comfortable with good sheets, and pillows, and the TV has the correct ports to allow streaming devices(like Roku stick) . I love that the bedside lamps have charging ports for phones, and a 3 pronged electrical outlet. It means I can plug in my laptop and work from the bed. Free WiFi, free breakfast, and safe parking make this place a win. You get all of the amenities at a much lower price than expected. If there is ever an issue, the staff is quick to respond. Pre-Covid-19- the buffet breakfast was outstanding!! Currently, they have grab and go bags which you can put packaged food and drink selections inside. Due to the packaging, what we don't open, we bring to share with our local unhoused neighbors. The staff really make the place, though. They are nice, welcoming, and helpful. I'm loyal, because they genuinely earned it. I've been to other hotels in the area, and for what you get and how you are treated- this place wins hands down.

Very Bad Room Service Food, even with a very limited menu, a simple salad was horribly rotten, reported this to both room service and front desk and no attempt has been made to rectify this issue or make it right, was also offered by room service staff a free substitute meal no charge which was not the case, I ended up paying for entire bill and told up to a month for a refund that even of they choose to give me one, manager was notified and I was told they were going to speak to the chef

Nice Hotel with great staff especially Claire and Eljay and other Front Desk Clerk! They are very helpful and polite. Grab and go breakfast is a good idea better than other hotel that don't provide even some coffee. Please keep up the the excellent service.

I want to thank the staff and manager for allowing me to park my travel trailer and truck on their premises. We had a urgent need to find safe parking. We didnt stay in our trailer, we actually had a room booked for us a another hotel but there was no where to park except a dark side street. Thank you

The Hotel and Rooms are Very Clean. The Staff are Great and if you need anything they are there for you right away !!!! It's only 15 Minutes to Downtown San Francisco. Lots of Parking and close to the airport. All the Rooms and Hallways have been upgraded and are looking GREAT !!!

I trully enjoyed my stay ... Couln't of asked for anything more. The property met all of my needs and I would definately stay at a Best Western Plus in the future. From the customer servuce to the overall experience, I would recommend staying at a Best Western Plus to family and friends.

I stayed in a 1 king bed room. Very clean. In room fridge was cold. My wife wiped everything down with Clorox wipes, and the wipes were clean(usually brown). Clean carpet. My only complaint is that the room smelled musty. I had to leave the window open all night and hear the freeway to get fresh air.

The Best Western Plus Grosvenor is your average stay hotel. Generally clean and basic amenities. Staff are professional, but not very warm. Seems hurried and a little brisk when situations arise. Overall, nice price for location and convenience to access the Bay Area.

Few months ago I was looking for a venue to celebrate my 70th Birthday I've look around in the neighboring cities and this place was highly recommended by a relative and friend. I've meet with Rose Rosauro, the Assistant Catering Mgr. She is a very nice,pleasant, accommodating, helpful and professional person. She showed me the set up of ballroom. That time it was under renovation, she told me by the time I'll have my party on Feb 1st 2020, the ballroom is going to have a new carpet by then. February 1st 2020 came party time, The set up of the ballroom was outstanding and the food preparation, presentation and the quality was perfect for my guests. I had a very satisfied guests, each and everyone had a good time. My party went well as I've expected.Thank you to Rose, the server and to the chef who had made my party well prepared. I'm a very grateful and satisfied customer. I've highly recommend this place for those who are planning their party, a perfect venue whatever kind of event you are planning in the future. My experience was good. Iliked the idea that the hotel offered free contential breakfast and airport transportation. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Shout out to Imelda (front desk clerk) at the Best Western Plus Grovesnor/South San Fransico. The only two issues I had were that they did not provide a variety of toiletry items in the room bathroom and shortage of wait staff.

One of my annoyances about hotels is when they ask the customer for room preferences prior to check-in and provide something different - without informing the customer. Case in point, twice I requested a quiet room and one without an adjoining door before checking in and I ended up with a not-so-quiet room (due to highway traffic noise) and a room with an adjoining door to another room. To be fair, this hotel tried to accommodate me the best they could but there wasn't much in the way of alternatives. I was given a corner room with a queen-size bed (as requested)and my neighbor was quiet so the adjoining door didn't become an issue. However, when I first walked into the room I thought the window was open given the level of traffic noise. I had stayed at the airport Hyatt Regency the previous week and even though it was close to the highway too, if not closer, there was hardly any noise. Maybe the Hyatt Regency uses double-pane class or something else because the noise reduction was significant. As for this hotel, I felt that the window and window sill were a bit old and perhaps not flush; maybe that explains part of the noise. Anyway, it was a disappointment. The room itself was clean and comfortable. No complaints there. The TV was a little closer to the bed compared to some other places which I liked. The bed was fine and it was easy to change the room temperature. The refrigerator was cold but they didn't offer complimentary water - I wonder why not. There is an IHOP about 5-10 minutes away by foot. However, they offer complimentary breakfast which was basic but good. The dining area was spacious, more so than the Holiday Inn Express, for example. There is a free shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. No express check-out.

This Rooms and Beds here are Very Comfortable and Quite at night. The Staff are GREAT. You are only minutes from Downtown San Francisco and easy to get to or anywhere else if you are going to san Francisco.

We love this hotel! So clean, amazing price and location.The staff is amazing! I always worry when I stay at hotels but this place is so clean. Definitely a gem! Close to the airport, shuttle if you need it that runs every 30 mins. There's a gym and a restaurant inside the hotel. There's no other place we'll stay when were in the bay area!

This place is quite a dump and overpriced. In addition to overselling the hotel, making it a whole exercise to get me a room when i checked in at 8 pm, the only room they could get me in had a leaky ceiling! In addition pillows were really lumpy and woke up the next day with a sore neck as a result. Spent $319 on a nights stay here, which would have been better spent elsewhere. Highly recommend you avoid.

Great place to stay and the staff is very helpful and outgoing.... rooms are clean and if there is a issue with anything they have always taken care of it asap.... its literally a minute from San Francisco International Airport...3 stop lights away 5 minutes from a Tanforan shopping mall on the other side of the freeway...and plenty of restaurants are near by as well....

This hotel met all of our standards to the highest level and is first rate in all aspects. The hotel staff is very well versed in the local area which made our trip to visit our family very easy. Any directions or recommendations were first rate and played a major roll in our adventures. The meals in the restaurant were excellent and all to our standards. We could not have been in a better location as it was central to all our activities. I high recommend this hotel in all aspects.

They charged me an extra $100 because my daughters hair color "stained" the tub. I find it hard to believe that a temporary color could stain a tub that should be sanitized anyway. Then to be so rude over the phone when i inquired about the charge.

This hotel Affordable,comfortable,clean, friendly hotel with full breakfast buffet. Located in a safe convienent location. With in Minutes from San Francisco airport and only 10-15 min drive to pier 39.

The front desk phone rang for 15 minutes and then I was put on hold another 5 minutes as I tried to verify my reservation when the online system couldn't find it. The noise was unbelievable, the exit door by my room was propped open all night which made my room drafty, when I called the front desk, I was guess what “PUT ON HOLD” until I finally hung up. At breakfast, my tall, dark and handsome husband was asked if he is a guest here! Did I mention the floors are dirty and so was the microwave, yuck. My bed look as if it had been made over and that's why I bring sheets and cleaning supplies. I paid over $100 for $29.99 experience. Never again !

Finding a friendly and affordable hotel in the SFO area is not easy. This is one value for money. Breakfast is ok. Room is a bit seasoned but clean. Some upgrading will make it look better. Overall it is a good place to stay if you are just looking for a convenient place to sleep And have quick breakfast.

Recently upgraded and more tech-oriented overall. We like having the bar/restaurant right there as well as a bag breakfast for early flights and dependable shuttle service. Still need to repair some basic bathroom cosmetics like peeling tub liners and dripping tub faucets but otherwise it's a comfortable place with very helpful staff.

Location is awesome. Service is awesome. Breakfast has an awesome selection. Might want to reconsider upgrading quality of the mattress for better sleep. Overall, I will continue to utilize BW for my hotel stays.

Regular stayer here as long as rates are not peak which can be twice of low season rates. When that (convention time) happens, every hotel in South San Fran will raise their tariffs to $200 or above. punctual half hourly shuttles to airport and vice versa is a big plus as with complimentary breakfast. Room is clean and sufficiently roomy. Booking through booking.com us quick but no rewards points I m happy with my stay as long it s low season rates

First room was filthy dirty, big dirt stains on the chair... second room water in tub drain slow and weather stripping around window let cold air and noise from the freeway and wind all night long, a waste of money

This is a convenient place to stay close to airport. Rooms are a little dated but decent. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff upon check in/out. There was some (just a few strands) of hair in our bathtub, but other than that room was very clean. We just rinsed the hair down the drain.

We have stayed at this BW+ many times over the years. Everything generally works as thought out. Our actual rating for this airport hotel would be a solid "GOOD" but there was not this option. The most surprising aspect during this stay was the fact that "Alan", at the breakfast reception, remembered us from our May stay and greeted us!

Stayed one night before a trip. Good points: fast free shuttle to airport, decent room with firm bed, adequate bathroom, better than average complimentary breakfast with hot food. Bad points: checkin takes long time as the hotel is crowded and there was only one clerk, noises from the nearby highway, and slow elevators.

Very disappointed... Shower and sink did not drain... Called it in on Thursday when we arrived and it was fixed Saturday ( second time we called front desk ) the tv in bedroom didnt work.... We asked maid for extra towels and she was rude and said I needed to call front desk if I needed help.... ( at that time front desk hadn't helped with shower or sink yet.. We were still standing in dirty water to take showers!!! ) check out is at 11:00 on Sunday but maid woke us up at 8:00 knocking on our door to clean it... ( maybe A list for the maid of rooms who have checked out would help. ) all besides the fact when I booked room I booked it with 2 beds for 3 guest... I got a one bed with a sofa pull out!!! Which on the sofa pull out the mattress was so thin you could feel every spring on frame.. And for 3rd person we had to rent a roll away that the floor would of been more comfortable. I went to front desk about only having one bed and they said technically the sofa is a bed!!!! Maybe that should be explained when a guest books a room.. Oh i did ask to talk to manager and manager was off till tuesday!!!! What hotel doesn't have a manager on duty?

Very convenient if you are flying. Not a bad stay for the money and parking was free. Breakfast was decent. Room was not bad. It's a typical beat western. The Lonby was probably the bright spot. Looks like they upgraded that. Rooms were spacious and well amenitied if not dated slightly. Breakfast was good with decent variety

Situated some thirty minutes by shuttle to the airport. This busy hotel has really nice staff, particularly Imelda on reception who was very helpful with our booking. An inclusive Breakfast is available from 6.00 am and the free shuttle service starts at 4.00 am to the airport. Our room was fine, but starting to show the signs of ware in places. Overall it's good value for an airport hotel.

Complimentary shuttle, rooms were fine, service was good. Couldnt do the breakfast due to time leaving but they supplied bags to go, very thoughtful, like wise refreshments and fruit in the lobby. Good for a short stay over, didnt use pool or restaurant.

Price vs. quality didn‘t fit. Hotel room was definitely in need of renovation, extrem noisy (hope you have better luck with the neighbors than I had) and rather dirty (wrinkly bed sheets, dirty sink). Ihop for breakfast just a few minutes up the street is a better alternative

The hotel is modern and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The elevators are super quick which is nice when the hotel is 9 or more stories. The offer a very good breakfast with a large selection in the hotels restaurant so there is plenty of room. The only negative was the shower head is one of the Lowest I've found outside of a camper. But those not wanting to get their hair wet will find it good. Otherwise, I'd stay again

Comfy and clean- inside and out. Pleasant and helpful staff. Free wi-fi, breakfast (fruit and egg whites too), and shuttle (every 1/2 hour). Grab bars and non-slip tub - important as you age. Convenient and a good choice for an overnight stay near airport.

Having flown in from Las Vegas, NV, and not wanting to drive at night to Eureka, CA I stayed at Best Western Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel. I was very hungry upon arrival and dinner at the restaurant was fabulous. The food is exceptionally good; the cocktails robust and dessert was delicious. The room decor could use an upgrade; but everything was in working order. Staff was very accommodating and courteous. Two elevators too few- crowd always in lobby; and guests at lower floors often found elevators too full to board. Overall a very good Best Western Plus with delicious full serve breakfast and very good coffee.!!! As a Diamond Select member; I did appreciate this facility; albeit improvements could be made.

Hotel was very clean and surprisingly quite that close to the airport. Room was well appointed. The free breakfast was top notch. Staff and room service were very friendly. The free shuttle to the airport and bart station worked out very well. Best way to get downtown. Will use this hotel again for sure.

We chose this Hotel as it has a restaurant that offers a late night meals until 11 pm. Rooms are comfortable and clean and offers all the amenities you expect at an Airport Hotel. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. Breakfast is included shame there was no bacon on the Buffett. Disappointed that there was no earl grey tea either but surprisingly there was a sachet of earl grey in the room. Staff were polite and welcoming.

We stayed at the airport to be close for arrival and departure time. Shuttle from airport 10-15 min. Plane was early (Yes -really) They were able to get us in extra early. Room was nice, clean exactly as expected. Shuttle took us to BART station at airport to spend day/evening for concert in San Francisco quick, easy to numerous stops right downtown.

Room was very clean and good air circulation; equipped with refrigerator and wifi. Availability of featured Continental breakfast was excellent! It was a lot more than what my husband and I expected of a continent breakfast. BW's Continental Breakfast offered a variety of very good breakfast items which was a lot more than what we've had at other lodging facility we've stayed at. Food items like cereal, bagels, pastries, pancakes, potatoes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, eggs whites only, make your own toast and waffles!; great delicious coffee! Can't get any more “continental” than this! We LOVED it! And our lodging accommodations were excellent as well!

We were a bit nervous about being so close to the airport , but it was very quiet . The lobby ,and rooms were extremely clean and welcoming . Check in and out were quick and staff was very helpful in referrals for food and directions . They provided a soup to nots buffet breakfast with everything you could want to eat . We used their guest laundry room which was also spotless and did not require coins as there was an app to download and pay off of . It even let you know when your was was done . It was a really. Ice hotel and would absolutely stay again

The front desk people where nice. Check-in/out was a breeze. Holding our suitcases before our flight was not a problem. Breakfast was decent and plenty. Room was clean. Bathroom fan was noisy. When you turn on the light in the bathroom, there is no way to turn off the fan. No safe in the room (I thought that was unusual), but we did have a refrigerator, coffee maker, WiFi, and TV.

We wanted a hotel that was close to Caltrain and/or BART station. This hotel serves that purpose. The lobby is very attractive. Check in was slower than expected as there were three employees at the desk but only one was attending to the guests waiting in line. We arrived at 1:30 and our room was not ready. We checked our bags and headed to the Caltrain station. We went to the Millbrae station because they have more parking than the South San Francisco station. The distance is not much distance. When we returned at 11pm we were given keys to our room. The suite was decorated nicely. There was queen bed and bathroom separate from the sitting area. It would have been better if the bathroom were not in the bedroom. One downside of our room was the proximity to the road and noise. I was told that all suites are on that side of the hotel. The air conditioner was very loud and roared when cycling on and the wind whistled through the windows. Hopefully they will be updated or insulated. The breakfast was great with many choices and plenty of seating. All in all I would stay again.

Really close with a shuttle to/from SFO. Restaurant on site that we liked and a good free breakfast too. This hotel is clean and comfortable and it was just right for what we needed at the end of our California road trip.

Grosvenor Hotel Best Western Plus is in ideal location for getting areound San Francisco and/or airport. Staff went out of their way to assist my handicapped husband and print us out directions to Funeral we were attending. Breakfast was delicious. Room was lovely and we had a great night's sleep after long travel day. We only stay at Best Westerns because they are the best!

We were very pleasantly surprised by the BW Grosvenor near SFO. The hotel showed a lot of pride of maintenance, had nice interior decor and was very clean. Yet, our stay was only $129/night. To find that kind of value near SFO is remarkable, IMO.

Large hotel, very conveniently located near the airport. The car rental return is only a few blocks away. Long lines at breakfast, bagged breakfast available for early risers, but contents (apple and a muffin) a bit disappointing.

We needed a place to park our car for 10 days while we were in Paris and then we needed to spend the night in SF when we returned. From the first phone call to inquire about this to the speedy check out process, BW Grosvenor Airport Hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was specious, clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of hot and cold foods. The other plus is the free shuttle to and from the airport. We only ended up waiting about 10 minutes before the shuttle arrived to pick us up. Overall, our stay at the BW Grosvenor Airport Hotel was extremely satisfying and we will definitely stay here again.

My husband, child, and I stayed at this hotel for over a month while work was being done on our home. Excellent service all around. I honestly can't say enough good things about it. The breakfast was amazing...you can't beat fresh hot waffles in the morning. Cleaning service was amazing. And the staff were always friendly and helpful. I would gladly stay here again and again and again!!!

I was looking to use my Best Western points for a free night somewhere close to San Francisco, and settled on this location. I arrived on an early flight into SFO, and drove in to see if I could check-in early. The hotel was fully booked the previous night, so they couldn't accomodate, but they did acknowldedge they got my pre-check-in l requests and would be able to upgrade me to a suite (I'm a gold member). A I was there so early, they had no problem with me getting a small breakfast for myself before they started cleaning up for the morning. I came back later in the day to check-in around 4pm. It was a different front desk person who was also just as friendly, but perhaps a little on the slow side. We eventually got our keys and went to our suite on the 9th floor. As there was 3 of us, we were happy to get the suite with the bigger queen bed and pull out couch. Room was generally clean, but noticed a fair amount of blonde hair on the work station chair (none of us are blonde). The room looks to be have been refreshed, but somehow retains a somewhat dated-looking decor and style. There was a microwave and small fridge in the room, but no safe. The TVs in each room look pretty old, as they are the older style LCD TVs that are thick, not great resolution, and the channel selections were very basic. I forgot to test the Internet speed, but it was stable and sufficient for what I needed to do while working. Even though the suite entrance was situated right next to the elevator and ice machine, I never heard them during my one night stay, which was good. On the other hand, I could clearly hear all the road noise from the highway. The AC was quite loud too. I would suggest ear plugs. The lobby and eating area of the hotel is a mix of original old furniture, accented with new renovation features. It looked a bit uncoordinated to me, but I guess that's just a minor thing. The breakfast service is VERY busy, and the staff had a tough time replenshing food. There a three hot items: a meat (1st morning was a corned beef hash I think, and the 2nd morning it was ham), eggs and pancakes. These run out fast, so I had to go back a few times to see if it got refilled. There is a small selection of pastries, cereal, very limited fruit, and juice/milk/coffee. They did have a fresh yogurt dispenser which I've never seen before, so I thought that was neat. I did not use any of the other amenties of the hotel. I think parking was supposed to be $8/day but was never charged. Overall, it was an acceptable stay. Nothing particularly good about the hotel, but nothing terribly bad either (maybe the road noise and lack of breakfast food). It was functional for what I needed it for, and nothing more. It's OK for short stays.

we were flying out of SFO for a family reunion and needed to stay close to the airport as our flight was early. The Grosvenor was able to accommodate some last minute changes to our lodging and since we were staying with them prior to our travel, we were able to park our car in their secured long term parking facility. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. The only challenge we had was not being able to get connecting rooms for our family but over all, good location, great staff and easy in & out. Better than expected rates for the SFO hotel area too!

The staff is so friendly and polite. The breakfast is awesome and the cocktail lounge is great. My Grand-kids love the hotel. Recommend for families or for business. This is our go to place in the Bay area.

Reasonably priced hotel. Waited about 30 minutes for complimentary airport shuttle to pick up from SFO, which serves a couple other hotels nearby, but drivers are polite. Somewhat noisy with thin walls and slamming doors from fellow patrons, but luckily folks weren't noisy through the night. Room was clean and comfortable otherwise. Highest selling point is the included breakfast, which has lots of choices. Overall a good value.

Helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Thankfully has restaurant for breakfast and dinner and both meals were of a good standard. Breakfast better than any other Best Western we have since stayed at Courtesy bus to airport.

Always stay here the night before you leave the country. Arrange to park your car in their lot. The staff is excellent. The rooms are nice. The breakfast buffet it awesome and just the thing you need before a 10 hour flight. The airport shuttle is comfortable. Then they pick you up when you get back! The perfect beginning and end to our trip.

Were the exact first words out of the better half's mouth when we opened the door to room 910. She had a very early flight out of SFO and wanted to be near the airport the night before. And I like Best Westerns, so we chose this spot. Obviously they are updating rooms and furnishings, and I really wish we had had more time to spend here. Our view was great; the bed was comfy, and the room was HUGE, and well appointed. Checked in a little early at 2:00pm, and departed at 4:30am, but it was a great room, great location for snacks and cocktails in the afternoon (Kincaid's happy hour) walks (along the shoreline, back to the room for a rest before going out to dinner at West Coast Cafe. I know most don't spend a lot of time at airport hotels, but this was a treat, from start to finish.

This review is more on the breakfast staff. Food was great bacon, waffle, pancakes eggs, pastries etc. tons of options. i will rate the food 5 star but this is what i have noticed regarding the staff. i was eating breakfast just before 10am and more people are coming to have breakfast and staff just started taking down everything. The plates, utensils & the food when clearly there are people still in line getting food. I was really disappointed with the chef and a younger lady working doing this right before my eyes. Unfortunately based on this i am giving it 2 star rating. I think aside from having great food, customer service is also a huge factor.

This place everything you need including a HOT breakfast. It's near the airport, right off the fwy, and around the corner there is a small mall. There is a small pool on the property that is under utilize. We did use the laundry facility which is very clean and was utilized a lot..small line.

We stayed here for one night and that was OK but nothing more than that. Staff was OK but not very helpfull or friendly. Breakfast was also OK. The pool was a bit dirty. The room was clean and the beds were nice.

We were waiting 1 hour for the shuttle to take us from the airport to the hotel. When we called while waiting and asked what was going on the operator hung up on me. The person at the desk told me that there was no manager on site and they couldn't help at all. Not customer service oriented and no one takes responsibility for problems. There is absolutely no one who was willing to help us or even cared that we, as seniors, waited so long. Once we finally got there the room key didn't work... ridiculously unprofessional.and frustrating.

We stayed for one night at this place on our way to China. Have nothing positive to say, the room was small and not very clean, the people were far from friendly, and the price was high for the quality of the place.

be careful if you have kids, the hotel has tv on demand service with abusive prices, if your kidf in this trap they will charge you hundreds more at checkout. i i explained the problem to the manager telling my kids purchased ten movies by mistake and they only watched few minutes of each, her response was insulting!

always have a great experience staying at BW, the place are well maintained and feel safe. would be nice if they can offer more incentives for loyal member. centrally located and easy to find. would come back agaib.

Great choice for an overnight stay. The was cLean air conditioned and larger than expected for a standard room. Bed was comfortable and shuttle service convenient. Would definitely stay with Best Western again

The rooms are spacious and clean! There was some renovating going on but they were not in the way at all. The hotel is not close to major tourist attractions but the price here is affordable and if you have a vehicle that should not be a problem. Breakfast was always stocked.

This hotel has huge rooms and the best breakfast I have ever had that was included with the cost of the room. There was a large window that allowed the light to stream in, the shampoo, conditioner and soap were excellent and the parking is free and plentiful. Right next to the airport, as well.

The location was close to a conference venue I was attending, but the area offers few amenities. The free shuttle to the airport is very convenient though, and drops off very close to the BART. The included breakfast is fairly extensive, with hot and cold options. The price was reasonable relative to other San Francisco options...boy this city is expensive. The rooms are clean, but a bit on the small side. Our room had two double beds, which for one of the premium level rooms, was a bit small for my liking. Kudos to BW for not gouging for sofa/pop in the vending machine.

Stayed several times when needing to park and fly. Love the ease of booking. Friendly staff. Every thing super clean. Great bar and restaurant. Good food choices at the included breakfast. Travel to the airport schedule very convenient.

nothing I can say but excellent in everything from customer service to the room cleanliness. we choice best western grosvenor in our everyweek getaway. grosvenor is like our second home, we stayed 1-2 nights everyweek. and I totally recommend this place to my friends and families who want to stroll over san francisco.

l stayed for one night at this hotel while traveling through SFO. Very clean, had a good late night meal at the bar, delicious breakfast in the morning and most of all, a wonderful staff. l left my passport and house keys in the room and didn't discover them missing until l was on the plane. All of the staff were very helpful in assuring me that they would be safe until l could make arrangements to have them sent to me. Jeff in housekeeping was a standout and was extremely responsive, communicative and punctual in getting my things sent back to me. Will always stay at this hotel when traveling through SFO!

This is my favorite place to stay when I am flying out from SFO for a week or two, and prefer to leave my car there..many of the staff know everything, they have been there a while, it is very close to SFO on the side closer to me driving down...my favorite by far...sometimes I am lucky and not just on a quick layover...lots of great food on grubhub in the area..also easy public transport...

We stayed here to catch our morning flight out of San Francisco, which is just a couple of miles away. There's a courtesy bus that pick ups guests from the airport as well as from the hotel to the airport. Since the bus runs every half an hour and it also picks up guests from 2 nearby hotels, your wait time is about half hour. It also took us a bit more than half an hour to get from the hotel to our terminal. This seems to be a very busy airport hotel, everything here is only average, our bathroom was poorly designed. I would say overall below standards as compared to other competitive brands such Hampton Inn.

We were greeted by a happy smiling receptionist who upgraded us to a king size room just for being a best western rewards club member. We needed this as we had just got off a 10 hour flight and was so relieved that the hotel was so easy to find as it was only minutes away from the airport. The room was lovely and had every comfort you would need - we had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious and ample choice for everyone. The restaurant was roomy and not busy which is always a bonus. Would recommend this hotel and definitely stay again....

I read about many wonderful award and accolades for this airport hotel, how good the appointments are amenities are, for example. So my expectations were high, and I was a bit disappointed when my actual experiences fell short of those expectations. Here's what we actually experienced: OUR ROOM (503): The room was nice-sized, functional, and certainly adequate for a one-night stay. We appreciated that the room was in perfect condition, apparently recently renovated. The room was well lit and had plenty of charge stations for our devices. Lots of cold air came into our room through the (closed) windows. Although we asked not to be placed on the noisy freeway side of the freeway, we heard periodic noise from airplanes. BATHROOM: Compact and small. The shower was fine, but there was no soap in the shower. (We had to use our hand soap.) The towels felt coarse to me. BED: Our king-sized bed was comfortable, and I slept better than I do at home. The best reason to stay at this BW was the mattress-comforter-sheets-pillow combination. It was exceptionally good. BREAKFAST: Fine for mainstream eaters. For vegans and those interested in healthier food, very few options, not even oatmeal. Soy milk was offered,and we appreciated that. If we had not brought our own food, breakfast would have been inadequate. PARKING: This BW charges $8 per day and calls this fee "nominal." With very few exceptions, we generally do not pay to park at a hotel. But parking really is an issue in San Francisco. FITNESS CENTER: The fitness center had one treadmill, one elliptical, one bike, and a rack of weights with a weight bench. All the machines were barely adequate. (My wife called them "low end." The size of the hotel warrants a much large fitness center with better equipment.

The service was wonderful. The rooms were clean. The smell of cleanliness throughout the hallways. The breakfast was delicious and many options. We plan to stay here again next time we are in the area.

Overall this is a very good hotel to stay when in the San Francisco area. The rooms are bigger than hotels in the city and I also think the service and amenities are better. In fact, South Francisco is a better place to stay than the city. I feel much safer here and it's much cleaner than the city. It's also conveniently located near the airport. My husband and I have staying at this hotel off and on for the last 20 years and definitely prefer this hotel to any others we have tried in the Bay Area.

We arrived at San Francisco Airport on the Friday evening and stayed at the Best Western PLus Grosvenor Aiport for the one night before walking to Hertz to collect our hire car on the Saturday morning. We chose the hotel due to its close proximity to the airport and hire car depots, and we were very happy with our choice! No complaints about our stay, and would happily choose this hotel again in future. The room was clean and adequate size - the shower pressure we felt was slightly disappointing, however we stayed at many other hotels later in our trip and poor shower pressure seems to be a theme in American hotels. Breakfast area was spacious with plenty of seating, with a good selection of food. Staff were all friendly.

Despite very friendly and competent staff and a good breakfast the hotel was totally let down by the lack of soundproofing. We had a room on the highway side of the hotel and we felt like we were literally sleeping next to the highway - it was that loud. Freezing cold air also came through the "closed" window so it is obviously a problem with poor quality windows. I would only recommend this hotel to someone who can sleep through a hurricane.

I use to stay at different hotels in the City when I came to San Francisco and I discovered this one. The way they treated me and so on I will never stay at any other hotel in San Francisco area except for the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel

Rooms are excellent, quiet hotel, restaurant onsite with an excellent breakfast and top of the line dinner. Guest service employees are always welcoming and provide fast service. Location is great 10 minutes to San Francisco and cities located on the Penisula. This is my go to hotel for price, location and quality of rooms.

Ever thing about the stay was wonderful rooms are nice and big lounge/rest. and breakfast was fantastic. We had a Birthday party dinner there and it turned out very nice the food was great. I only wish there there Rest. was open during lunch time but it isn't.

This Hotel was excellent the bed and pillows were so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed for work breakfast was awesome not just your typical coffee and boring muffins or Danish. This was a full-on Verity Breakfast you will not regret staying here and for dinner they have a restaurant on the side of the lobby.

The hotel was modern, clean and in a great proximity to the airport. The breakfast buffet was better than any other hotel buffet we've ever had. Overall our stay here was comfortable, easy and very enjoyable!

I had a very good stay at the BW Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. I would recommend this hotel, and would stay again, if the opportunity became available.

We has stayed at the Grosvenor several. The staff is friendly! The breakfast awesome & the lounge is enjoyable & relaxing after a exhasting day. My family (kids & grandkids) will return again. My autistic grandson was a little noisy but no one complained.

The hotel staff were wonderful. The room was clean. You can tell that this property is dated, but upgraded. The food is not good quality, but tasty. The bar is easy to access and not crowded. The bar tender is SUPER FRIENDLY.

Comfy beds even though a double. Nice decor, breakfast is good. Close to airport, parking can be challenging however the front desk staff made it so we could park without issue. No microwave in our room but had fridge and coffee pot.

A nice hotel, at a good price. It has been recently renovated. A large room with a very comfprtable bed. A very pleasant staff, A good breakfast- sscrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, etc., buffet-style, al you want to eat.

Hotel room floor was soaking wet. I think from radiator and the room smelled very bad. Staff was unresponsive in correcting the problem. It was night and I was asked to leave the hotel at no charge if I wasn't happy. It's night, in San Francisco and very near the airport. Just where was I going to go. As Ia single business women, I generally do no travel alone after dark.

We feel that we really scored when we booked the Best Western Grosvenor. We got our room for under $100 including free WiFi and a super "free" breakfast. We will stay here again for sure. Very close to the SF Airport with a shuttle every 30 or so minutes. Very nice, clean room and comfortable bed.

I stayed at this hotel because I flew out the next morning. Service was very good, room was spotless. I didn't have time to eat breakfast but did on my next stay returning from a week's vacation. The breakfast serves more than most hotel's I have stayed in. Including some other BW's. A choice of breads, cereal, eggs, meats, sweet roll's and 3 juices. They keep the area clean which is difficult as there were quite a few guest that morning. They do honor veterans with a discount and that is not always the plan at every BW. The room was spotless and everything worked like a charm. I stayed the first night before I flew out to my destination and stayed again the night I returned about 10 days later. I will stay here again even if I am not traveling. OH yes, they provide a shuttle service that dropped me off on time without a worry. This is one of the best Best Western's I have stayed in for a long time. They truly deserve the "PLUS" after their logo.

Great location to use for an early morning flight out of SFO. Clean bed and shower that drains well with a curtain that doesn't stick to my legs and I'm pretty happy. There was ample, though not generous, counter space to put my things on the bathroom counter. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet but we passed on it so I can't comment on that.

The room was very comfortable, attractive and clean. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, with a nice combination of hot food and cold items. The free airport shuttle ran frequently and was most helpful.

I appreciated the friendly and helpful desk staff, the efficient airport shuttle service, the hot breakfasts, and the clean premises and rooms. We stayed three nights and felt very comfortable. I had booked another hotel closer the San Francisco airport to make an early morning flight, but saw that the shuttle began at 4:30 a.m., so I booked my final night at Best Western.

We booked this hotel for an overnight stay after a flight from Hilo, Hawaii that arrived at 9pm in order to avoid a red-eye flight home. It's a great hotel at a terrific location and the price was unbeatable! Front desk staff was efficient and pleasant. The breakfast selection was wonderful....so much more to choose from than the usual chain hotel breakfasts. Shuttle service was punctual and efficient. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Free airport shuttle bus on time as promised. Breakfast buffet included in our room price - probably pretty good by American standards: not brilliant but ok.: good variety of food. Food quality: typically American (yes, I am one so I can disparage!). We arrived late in the evening just before shuttle bus stopped running - I was worried about them knocking off early but they did not: they had a few other hotels to service which were right next door. Hotel has 'recently' been refurbished - somewhat tacky in decor but functional. Good for a lay over or short work related stay.

Had to stay overnight for one night near San Francisco Airport. The best Western was conveniently located, A good value, friendly staff and quiet comfortable rooms. Also a good breakfast, nice gym and quick check in.

Weather stripping around window was no good, I listened to wind and cars all my long. The heater is set to stop at 78°f which doesn't help with all the cold air coming in. I woke up sick, I tried taking too the supervisor, but she didn't understand.

We wanted to stay down town SF however after seeing the prices opted to look other places. We were able to take the hotel shuttle to BART. Once in town we also took the trolley and used Lyft. The front desk was very helpful with transportation recommendations. The hotel was well maintained and clean. The hot breakfast was nice. It was a great base location to see the city in a more affordable place.

I decided to stay here for 1 night mainly to be close to the airport. Pros: close to the airport, there is a hotel shuttle, hotel is well-maintained & clean, staff is friendly, they have free breakfast, there is free wifi. Cons: rooms are very small, they don't have 24-hours coffee, internet speed is very low (order of a few Mbps), there is some road noise because the hotel is very close to 101. Overall, this is convenient if you want to stay close to the airport for a short stay.

Clean room, excellent breakfast, good view to the east. The rooms are clean, and the heating system works fine, although we did have a problem with our first stay in February, but the March stay was fine.

My family and I stayed here after our arrival into San Francisco. The hotel is perfectly located near the airport to make it easy to access. The room was large and had all the necessary amenities. The room was also quiet. No traffic or airplane noise. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. All the food was hot and ready, the bacon was cooked perfect. They even had an egg white option and waffle bar.

Great location close to airport with free shuttle, nice clean and modern room, very friendly and helpful staff, and free breakfast with hot items. There is also a restaurant off the lobby area for those who prefer to dine in (room service available too). Couldn't ask for more in an airport hotel accommodation!

Coffee maker and small refrigerator in room, bed was comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was very easy, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. Room was very clean, and they do offer room service from the restaurant on the premises. The prices and the food in the restaurant are very reasonable and the food is good.

We stayed here one night on our way to New York. We received an upgrade. Room was large and fbreakfast was good followed by a complimentary shuttle to the airport. If it was closer to the city centre we would stay again and use it as a base. It was great for what it was!

Room: Bed was small yet comfortable. Bath towels are very low grade, rough and need replaced. Temperature of room went from freezing to hot all night long. There was a serious cold draft coming into the room. Exercise room is small but usable and handweights are very handy. Dining room opens at 5pm and we were hungry at 3pm, so we walked over to the restaurant at the Holiday Inn across and down the street. That food was very good and I highly recommend it. The hotels restaurant should open earlier, even if with a limited menu. Breakfast was pretty good actually. Normally at an airport hotel the staff allows access to whatever food is out to early departing guests. Not here, lady was militant about not opening a minute before 6am even though 90% of items were out 20 minutes earlier. Yes, that have "to go" breakfast at the front desk, but its not the same. The lobby was full of people all during the 5am hour, just open breakfast at 5am and let your guests eat a proper meal before the long check in and security lines of SFO.

I have been staying at this hotel for over 15 years when I have had flights in and out of SFO. They have won my loyalty by their service. Over the years the Hotel has had many upgrades to the rooms, the lobby, and the front of the building. There has been very little change in staff over the years, and I believe this reflects well on management. I often recommend this hotel to friends who have also found it to be a great place to stay.

This is my wife and I choice of Hotels to stay in San Francisco, great location, very good customer service, room and bar and restuarant. Extremely clean and quiet with many rooms available for business and family events. We continue praise the staff for going the extra mile to insre we have a great stay. Our past two stays here we arrived very late and exhuasted and the front desk staff has upgraded our standard room to a suite. Its nice to sit in the lobby and other areas of the hotel simply to relax and read a book, here it can be done in peace and quiet.This hotel location connects you to many of the surrounding area communities within minute, stoes, restuarants and entertainment. I f your looking for any of things we just mentioned you must try Best Western Plus Gosvenor Airport Hotel. .

Love this hotel and the shuttle service it provides to the airport. Very comfy bed, quiet, great breakfast and prompt shuttle! Would definitely stay there again. We used this hotel to go on a cruise. Used the Lyft shared service to the Pier and it worked out perfect!

Th remodeled rooms at the Grosvenor are nearly luxurious. New furniture, revised bathrooms, new bedding. Ask for room 910. The bar is an old standby. Rosa is very nice and the food, is light and well prepare. Perfect for n 0400 iPhone alarm.

Nice clean hotel. Perfectly located near sfo, includes free shuttle to and from airport. I left my vehicle there for a week with no issues and much less expensive than airport parking. Highly recommend

Located across from a See's Candy Shop made it slightly dangerous for dieters but the convenience of getting in and out of the city was nice. The staff were helpful and friendly. We were offered points for not requiring room cleaning services daily... Which we never require to begin with so that was an added boon! All in all a very comfortable, clean, affordable and accommodating residence for our stay in San Francisco!

As compared to the other reviews - I must have gotten the worst room in the hotel. The room looked very old, dark and dirty. The sheets were stained at a strategic spot, and as I had checked in around midnight, there was no one available to help change the sheets. There was one tiny window letting in very little natural light. Luckily I was on the 9th floor, so the incredibly loud outside noise was not too much of a bother. The breakfast was disgusting - gluey yogurt, powdered eggs, and warm coffee. I am still in a haze - is it possible that I was staying at a hotel different from other reviewers? FYI - the shuttle to airport leaves promptly on the half hour, and takes approximately 20 minutes to reach all terminal.

Stop over in San Fran on way to Australia. Hotel is in a area that is kind of void of anything to do. Hotel has a good restaurant and friendly staff. The only place to eat nearby is a McDonalds across the street and a Pancake house a few blocks away. It was a good hotel at a decent price.

This was a great situation. Had to pick a room before a flight out on Saturday morning. This place was perfect and just 6 blocks in a straight line to get to the rental car return in the morning before my flight. Would definitely stay here again if the need arised.

Great bedding and fine shower and bathroom. Breakfast is standard but fresh with roomy seating. Bar area looked fun but needed rest instead. Proximity to SFO is a major plus. No chance to visit the fitness area and the pool is seasonal.

We arrived into the Best Western Plus Grosvenor after a late evening flight where we experienced pros and cons during our one-night stay. Attentive service and staff were present during check-in and out but may have problems if many customers arrive at the same time. The nice bed in a regular size a bit dated room allowed for a very comfortable sleep. Amenities were fine except the TV small size, few channels offered and low reception quality. Acceptable variety during the included breakfast but somehow slow service during the tasty enough dinner.

The rooms are nice; the restaurant is good; the location is excellent for SFO; the water wall and fresh flowers are beautiful......but it is the PEOPLE that make this Best Western the shining and unparalleled location that has our loyalty! Never resented the MANY times he came to help with the DVD player, the internet, moving all our stuff between rooms. Always smiling. Always making me feel like it was his genuine pleasure to help. Claire (front desk): And yet ANOTHER dear sweet sweet wonderful girl! Always ready and cheerful and smiling and caring. She also went above and beyond repeatedly to make things comfortable and better for us!

Rooms are clean. Restaurant is good. Perfectly positioned for an overnight before an early flight out of sfo. But... one thing really irritates this reviewer. The bar opens at 5! What's up with that! The bar should open at least an hour before the restaurant. Open the bar at four!

Very close to San Francisco airport, staff is kind, room very clean, a little old maybe. Good choice for breakfast with multiple waffle station. Free shuttle bus to airport every 30/40 minutes. Only negative side : noisy from the outside roads/autoroutes... the problem is given by windows that have just a single glass that don't close well. So this generates noise and a cold air that makes work a lot the heating system with higher costs for the hotel...

Very nice Best Western conveniently located in SAN Francisco. The airport shuttle is excellent. The staff is excellent. The rooms are a nice size but the restroom s are somewhat small. The beds are vey good. The breakfast is excellent and the restaurant is good and well priced. A great spot to stay in SF.

The room was cleaned daily, we called for help, a worker was there within 2 minutes, the front desk provided maps of the city, informed us of different types of transportation and offer different sites to see. I was impressed

This is an excellent choice near SFO. Terrific shuttle to the hotel from the airport. Clean. And great breakfast. Good choice near the airport for a short stay! Good rates and has a front desk that recognizes the BW Reward program. Stay away from the rooms near the elevator. They are the X15 numbers.

The hotel itself, is off the highway. We were lucky to get a room that didn't face that side. Though in the bathroom I found hair on the floor when we first arrived. We were placed right next to an elevator. As a person with disabilities I do not prefer to be right next to a heavily trafficked area, it becomes hard to relax with all the noise. We ordered food and were given a 20 minute wait time. An hour and 20 minutes later no food. So we called, we had our food up right away. Except it was cold, my food had been sitting out for a while obviously and I could tell not only by the cold food, but the melted ice in my sprite.

Arriving from Hawaii on Christmas Eve, my family and I checked in to the Best Western Plus Grovsner Hotel in San Bruno, California, only to discover one of the most beautifully holiday decorated hotels we've ever seen! Not only that, the hotel's very friendly staff went out of their way to make sure we were well accommodated, in every way! Free breakfast the next morning was a nice treat! Thank you Grovsner - have a great New Year!

Best Western Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel offer complimentary airport shuttle every half an hour, you can ride on the airport shuttle and get to San Francisco International Airport in about 15 minutes. There isn't any restaurants around Best Western Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel within walking distance except hotel's onsite restaurant, McDonald's and Costco Wholesale food court. You can have free deluxe hot breakfast every morning, including waffle, fresh fruit, egg, yogurt, and hot coffee, etc. The breakfast room is spacious and beautiful, The guest room is small but clean. The SamTrans #292 bus stop in front of Best Western Plus Grosvenor Airport Hotel, and the Costco Wholesale is just 0.2 mile from the hotel, it is very convenient to go Costco to shop and eat.

The Best Western Grosvenor is a great value. Convenient to SFO, rooms are clean, staff is pleasant and helpful. Complimentary shuttle to the airport is a plus. Breakfast included in your stay has fresh prepared items and makes the stay a good value.

No problems with the hotel. Reception was great at 0400 in the morning. Beds were very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was good. The only negative was waking up a grumpy/maybe drunk ( as I couldn't understand what he was saying ) taxi driver to take us to the hotel at around 0330. Being at the front of the queue he was next in line to bring us to the hotel. He was not happy for the short ride and charged us $25. Overall not a very pleasant experience. This is not the fault of the hotel,but I would like to alert future guests that the shuttle bus is not available even tho SFO has no curfew.

+ The location is very convenient for SFO access. The room is basic, but OK. Breakfast is quite good. Staff is friendly. There is ample space for parking. - The hotel and room is quite run-down and in need of renovation. It doesn't seem very fresh. The windows were very dirty. There was also a lot of noise from the evacuation stairs that don't have any windows. You also get a lot of noise of the airco and of the highway outside.

Arrived after a very long delay on our flight. Into town Front desk employee was very helpful. Room was nice $ it had a great bed that wasn't too high for my husband, who is handicapped. Complimentary breakfast had lots of variety.

The hotel is very nice, and being a loyalty member they upgraded my room. the bar restaurant area is very nice and the food was good. our room was above average and the bed was very comfortable the shuttle to airport was on time and easy to use.

I travel to the Bay Area all the time for business. My colleagues and I have been staying at the Grosvenor for years. We keep coming back because the staff makes us feel like family! Especially, Linda and Rosa at the bar/ restaurant and Bianca at the front desk. Every stay we are welcomed with a smile and great service. Feeling like your at home + super comfortable beds = great sleep! Its not easy to find a hotel that you sleep like your in your own bed traveling all the time. We found one in San Francisco for sure - Best Western Grosvenor!

Best Western Plus is a great place for an overnight stay as it is conveniently located from San Francisco International Airport and is only 12 miles from Downtown San Francisco's popular attractions. The staff were pleasant, the rooms were clean, and the selection for breakfast was good.

I like staying the the Best Western near the airport for many reasons. The beds are really comfortable. It is easy to find on a rainy night. Service is good and always with a smile. Getting around the Bay Area from here is very easy even for a stranger like me. I like being able to get to bed quickly after a late flight into SFO, and I can pick up a rental car the next morning.

I stayed at the BW Plus Grosvenor many times for one night stays during September, October and November. I'd usually arrive late evening. The ladies working soon began to recognize me, and I have to say they are some of the nicest front desk people I've ever encountered. I just wish I was better with names so that I could give them credit for being so great. The rooms are comfortable. The hot breakfast is great. The hotel is very convenient to SFO, and it's easy to get to Hwy 101 and 380.

Everything at this hotel is great!...price, staff, breakfast (real good), Internet connection. The quality keeps me coming back! I'd say it's the best quality for price on the south side of San Francisco.

We wanted to spend the night close to SFO so as to not have to fight the traffic in getting there. This was a great pick. There is a service station close by with some of the cheapest prices for gas. This was great for filling the tank before turning in the rental car. There was no charge for parking either. The service staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The check-in and out process was very easy and fast. There was a large number of offerings for breakfast which was complimentary and the food tasted very good. The rooms were very nice and clean. We got in somewhat late and had to leave right after eating so we weren't really able to check out the other amenities in the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Another great experience...this property never fails. Convenient, clean, great proximity to everything. Rooms are clean, good amenities (great breakfast every morning), and the cost is very reasonable. If you need to "park and fly" out of SFO Airport...this is the place to leave your car for a week or so. All personnel are friendly and very helpful. Great place to stay!

Fabulous hotel, with everything you could want. Great rooms, excellent restaurant on premises (love their Thai Chicken!), Cozy bar with happy hour, prompt and quick airport shuttle, helpful staff. Great place!

The check in process was efficient and the staff was super friendly. The staff in the restaurant and bar were nice, the food was excellent and presented beautifully. The wine choices were good.. The atmosphere of the bar is so relaxing and pretty. Loved the big screen in the lounge. Our room was perfect. Everything worked. I will come again! Only had one issue. Some sort of loud generator ran all night. making it difficult for me to get to sleep. I was in room 826.

Stayed here for a night before a flight out of SFO. The service standards at this Best Western were surprisingly high, with a friendly reception eager to assist. I arrived early and they were able to let me check in right away. The room was comfortable but nothing to write home about. The included breakfast was very good. All in all a very pleasant stay.

I checked into the Best Western Plus Grovesnor on Friday 11/23/18 - 11/25/18. Booked through EXPEDIA... my total due receipt was $449.56 for 2 rooms/2nights. I just found out through my bank that I was charged $561.95 plus $112.39 twice... Needless to say that i'm definitely disputing my money. But now i have to deal with Expedia, BW & Citibank which has been an extreme headache. Never staying here again it's been nothing but extreme Inconvenience. today is now 11/28/18 and i'm still awaiting my $337.17 refund. Check your transactions when booking through Expedia & paying on arrival at the HOTEL.

We just needed a place to shower and sleep and a shuttle service to and from the airport...the shuttle driver was very accommodating... Breakfast was buffet style and offered a nice selection of choices...

Thanks to Bestwestern my family and I had a wonderful trip to the city of San Francisco. Thank you for providing such easy and relaxing experience. We will go back soon because it felt like a home away from home to us.

The Grosvenor is always a Pleasant Stay. My family and I always get treated like we been there before. The employees are always go out of their way to make us feel confortable. The rooms are always very clean. I always park and fly at this hotel

We had a one-night stop in South San Francisco to attend a relative's birthday party with extended family and this turned out to be a great choice. Near the SF airport, this Best Western was very clean, comfortable and supplied everything we needed. The décor was not over the top but very nice for the venue's price, the breakfast served (included in price) was wonderful, and our room on the 8th floor, except for an insulated low hum of freeway traffic, was very quiet. The front desk service was good as well even under busy circumstances.

We've stayed at this place before as it is very convenient to the airport. When we checked in we were upgraded to a suite - Sweet we thought. Not so much, unfortunately there was a banging pipe above us most of the night. However, when we expressed our concern to the front desk when we checked out, they reduced the price of the room and gave us extra points to our BW account. The right thing in my book therefore, I give them 5 stars. Also nice restaurant on premises AND right next to See's candy outlet! Extra Sweet!

This hotel was conveniently located within 1.5 mile to San Bruno Bart station which made it very easy to take public transportation to Downtown San Francisco for site seeing experience. The hotel also offers free daily breakfast buffet with pancakes and waffle station. The complimentary airport shuttle which runs 24-hour was a great way to save money and is just minute to and from the San Francisco airport. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

This was my first time in California. I was traveling for business and wanted something close to the airport and centrally located to my 3 offices and attractions. I chose to fly in early so I had time to site see before starting the business part of my trip. In addition to being close to the airport, being across the street from McDonalds was a real plus for those late night munchies. It's perfectly located off the 101 which connects you to the 380 and other freeways. To get there from the airport. Don't follow the GPS because it will take you out of your way and put you on the freeway. From the airport get on N. McDonnell road heading south. It turns into S. Airport Blvd and BW will be on your left, it's less than 2 miles from the airport, 30 minutes from Ghirardelli Square & Fisherman Wharf, 20 minutes from Outback Steakhouse and less than 10 minutes from Tanforan Mall. Tanforan Mall is where you can find Target and other national retailers. Close by theres Best Buy, Red Lobster and other restaurants and stores. This was also my first time in the new rebranded Best Western Plus which now looks like a real moderately priced hotel with it's interior corridors and other amenities. The BW of yester-year with it exterior corridors looked more like low budget motels than a reputable hotel. Another reason I liked this BW is because of the staff. Everyone on staff that I encountered was extremely helpful when help was needed but the person who made me day was my floor housekeeper. The housekeeping staff was AWESOME! I'm not sure if I had the same lady the full week and I wish I got her name before leaving. Everyday she greeting me with a smile, a thank you and wished that I have a nice day. That's something you rarely see from housekeeping. Sometimes she would be around when I returned and asked me how I was doing. I was extremely impressed with her attention to my wellbeing. Those small acts of kindness goes a long way and says a lot about her character. If I ever have to go back to Cali for work again. I will always recommend this as my first choice to stay. Other reasons: Comfortable beds and pillows, close by the airport but don't hear the planes.

We stayed at the hotel the night before our trip and the night we arrived home. The room for the first night was great and we had no complaints. For our second night, we were very glad for a comfortable bed but were disappointed that temperature control in the room did not work and the room was very chilly. When we called the front desk, we were told that no one was available to fix it. In addition, the bathroom sink water faucet control did not work and we only had cold water. We also smelled cigarette smoke in the morning. At check out, we shared these issues and were told that they would be taken care of. We will definitely stay here again as the first night's room was nice, the bed was very comfortable (both nights) and the staff was friendly. We really appreciate the service of parking our car and receiving a shuttle to and from the airport.

This was a nice hotel near the San Francisco airport. It was clean and comfortable. The shuttle to the airport was efficient and on time. The price was reasonable and check-in and check-out process went very smoothly

I stay this hotel whenever I visit SF because I drive. Even they charge you for parking, reasonable price with easy access location to SFO. This time, my front door and next door was very noisy at night. But most of time, I like this hotel.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the on-site restaurant and it was great, as was the included breakfast. Our only complaint was that the word "Grosvenor" on the shuttle was tiny and in big letters is said Best Western San Francisco NORTH but the address for the hotel was SOUTH San Francisco, so we didn't think it was our shuttle and let it go by several times before we asked the driver. Crazy.

This BW Plus Grosvenor defied all of the assumptions I make when I hear 'close to the airport.' It was beautifully decorated, with delicious hot breakfast every day, super friendly staff, and just a luxurious feel. I highly recommend.

Nice room for an early morning flight out of SFO. Great breakfast bar and free shuttle to the airport. Good location for a stay to see the city and South San Francisco. The staff was really friendly and check in and out was a breeze.

I was catching a morning flight out of SFO. I stayed here the night before, and it was fine. Quick friendly check in. Lounge had good beer and a nice menu. The free nibble food was a nice touch — one could make a meal of that.... for free! Check out was quick, and you can get an express check out — no need to see the front desk on your way out. Be aware that South Airport Blvd is blocked between the hotel and car rental center and the terminals. To get there from the hotel it is relatively simple to head north then cross US 101 and head south on 101 for the next exit. A bit roundabout, but works. Just add a few minutes for the detour.

Horrible experience. We arrived and they gave us a room that was super noisy. We could not sleep because we heard all the street noise. Very noisy. Then we flush the toilet and it doesn't stop flowing. We then try to turn the tv on and it was broken. We call the front desk to try and have our issues resolved and they tell us there is nothing they can do about anything because they are "sold out". Our entire hallway was completely empty and there were several rooms available. Try and find a quieter place to stay. This place is a dump.

Excellent location near the airport and a short distance into the city. Breakfast is good and there's a bar and restaurant that has decent food and drinks. Near some fast food but you'll need to travel to get better dining experience.

We had a great stay at the BEst Western. It came with a good continental breakfast. Also there is an ihop close to it and a little gas station with convenience products. MC Donalds is right across the Street. Good shuttleservice to the airport SFO, every half hour.

We stay here multiple times a year. This is in the best location, best hotel, comfortable beds, good rates and friendly staff. They even have a shuttle to the airport. The breakfast is the best! They are very accommodating. For a few extra dollars, you can get a late checkout later in the day. This is the place to stay! Yes, you will have to drive into the city, but that is just 20+ minutes away.

We stayed here to celebrate a friends birthday and attend a niner game. We arrived on sturday the day before the game. Had dinner in the bar with drinks. Had a great time and the service was excellent.

If you stay in Best Westerns frequently, you'll recognize this decor. I was checked in at 1am by an efficient attendant who typed at light speed. I didn't have a reservation, got my room for $89, and was upgraded to a suite (I'm BW Platinum). I was in the room by 1:05. Bathroom needs a renovation, shower head low and water pressure so so but the BW emphasis on cleanliness is there and the bed was reasonably comfortable. If you need to spend a night at SFO, this is a good choice.

Overall a pretty nice hotel within about 15-20 minutes of downtown SF when traffic isn't too heavy. (otherwise figure 30-40) Staff was friendly and the included breakfast was a notch above the "regular". It is in a mostly industrial type "not so good" neighborhood with several other "name" hotels in the area with a McDonalds across the street, IHOP and Denny's just down the street away. We noticed a sign posted at the IHOP stating that they have had multiple break-ins of vehicles which made us a bit nervous parking at the hotel just a short distance away. We made sure that we were parked in a very well lighted area. The only other negative was the street noise. We were on the 6th floor on the side facing South Airport Blvd (so named even though it is north of the airport??). Anyway, the street traffic noise really penetrated through. We travel frequently and stay often in similar hotels. Most of them are constructed to minimize traffic noise penetration. Fortunately at night the street is sparsely traveled but expect it to pick up pretty early in the morning. Beds was comfortable with an array of pillows to choose from. Room and bathroom were both clean and adequate. Price was about half of what a comparable room downtown SF would cost. We had pre-paid parking downtown for our evening outing to the theatre. The difference in room cost paid for our tickets to the show. So, if you are just looking for a room for the night, and don't mind the drive and have pre-arranged parking, I would recommend staying here.

This is a great hotel if you don't mind an extremely small bathroom. That is the only negative about our stay. The food in the restaurant was wonderful. The chef in that restaurant knows how to prepare delicious meals

A very convenient location, close to the airport. A good place to stay after a long flight before picking up the car the next day. The room was a good size, very clean and well appointed. Reception was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was varied and would suit most tastes. Prices seem to have risen in all hotels this year and can no longer be regarded as great value for money. It is very quiet and great for a one night stay. If you need a taxi to go anywhere, we needed one to get to the car rental at the airport, beware the hotel car if the taxi does not turn up. $20 for a taxi from the airport to the hotel, the taxi did not turn up to take us and we were told by reception this is not unusual and to use the car which services the hotel. on this advice we used the car only to be told halfway to the airport that the cost was$55, this is not great service. When we contacted the hotel about this we were told that we should have asked what the price was before we took the car. When you are told by reception that they use this provider all the time you do not expect to be taken for a ride. A good stay spoiled by an over priced journey. We would still stay at this hotel again because it is convenient, but would now always insist that they call a taxi firm.

Stayed one night to make travel for an appt in SF easier - hotel staff was very professional and friendly. Amenities were ok - my key did not get me in the fitness center for some reason. Bed was too firm for my taste but pillows were good. In room coffee maker was missing a part so had to go downstairs for coffee.

Perfect for our needs. Chose the hotel close to airport as landed in SF after long haul from UK early evening and prior to picking up car for road trip down the PCH following morning (opposite Sixt car hire - another reason for choosing). Decent size room, clean and comfortable large bed. Staff very helpful and a good breakfast before setting off early morning. Little noisy as would be expected being close to airport and the freeway - but always travel with earplugs just in case. Coffee station in reception. Good value for money.

We travel frequently to the Bay Area, so having a hotel that's near what we need and has the amenities necessary is important. This was our first time staying at this particular hotel. The hotel is right near SFO, with easy access to 101 and 280 (via 380). Additionally it has an on-site restaurant for dinner with decent American fare. The room itself was clean and quiet. The bed was a little firmer than I prefer but not unreasonably so. On our first night there, I went down to the restaurant and ordered a sandwich to go. The service was prompt, and the meal well packaged and small condiment jars were provided along with the meal. This is now my "go-to" place to stay when visiting the SF Bay Area.

Friendly staff great room and excellent bar and food the best western plus Grosvenor was excellent. Staff were a reassurance that customer service still exists, the room was excellent and the bar was a nice place to sit and have a drink and a meal. The food was fantastic and well priced and from what we could hear Rosa the barkeep provided counselling listening services free of charge. She also provided excellent service. Well located and the airport shuttle service works well. Highly recommended.

Staff was very friendly. Loved the breakfast to go and free shuttle. Room service was very nice to have, very friendly staff and servering were plenty. The bathrooms are very small and they could use new windows to keep the noise out. Outstanding place to stay overall for the price.

The breakfast spread was beyond my experience of continental breakfast. Kudos to the F&B dept. Room was clean and comfortable. Lack of microwave oven and housekeeping should make sure the TV is functioning and toiletries are replenished. Otherwise, it's worth the price you pay for a stay here.

My wife and I had our flight canceled due to Hurricane Florence. We opted to stay here as it is close to the airport and still convenient to the city via BART. I'm glad we chose the BW. Starting with check-in, our experience was delightful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room clean and pleasant, the bed comfortable, there was no noise, the breakfast was tasty with a good selection, and the WiFi reliable. I would have no problem staying here again.

The outstanding feature of the BW Grosvenor is the staff attitude. Without exception the staff we encountered happily and willingly helped us from beginning to end. It's an old fashioned place, rather large but still no feeling of being lost in the crowd. As a way to prepare for or get over a long international flight, this is the place.

Staff including bartender was awesome very accommodating and sooo nice anything asked for (towels etc) were immediately taken care of would absolutely recommend staying here. I am employee and one of the best I've been at and so clean

Very convenient to the airport; room was very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay including a mini refrigerator and coffee maker. The bathroom was small but adequate for an overnight stay. The Included breakfast had many choices and was nicely presented.

In town for a destination wedding. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything from staff at check-in to food in the brass elephant for dinner to breakfast and check out was amazing. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable!!

I think that everything was great from the selection of toiletries to the breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly. Rooms are spacious enough that the only thing I would suggest is to increase their full size beds to a queen size.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable, but needs sound proofing. Although the bed was comfortable, I was unable to sleep well because I could hear traffic noise all night. I'm a light sleeper, and asked for a quiet high floor level room. I was given a room on the top level (level 9) but still heard traffic noise all night. The accommodations were, however, excellent. There was plenty of free parking, a pool, free hot breakfast, as well as a bar! A McDonalds was also located right across the street. We were here to visit Lands End and Ocean Beach, which was only about a 15 mins. drive away.

Jim McGuire the GM of this hotel has a great place to stay while in SanFrancisco. Large, very clean room with a king bed was very comfortable. Great restaurant on site with good choices at reasonable prices. Free breakfast in morning had a very large selection of items to choose from. All food was hot and tasty. Only a mile and a half from SFO airport.

Friendly staff, great food, nice rooms. We had a great time over all, there was a small problem with the window rober that allowed air and noice through , but other than that we had a great time , the buffet was great and parking was safe

We arrived late after an exhausting trip and was welcomed by the front desk staff by our name without asking who we were. All accommodations were ready for us at time of arrival. We always enjoy the Bays view from our upper level room (7th floor) and wasn't sure by arriving late we would receive either. Again pleasantly pleased that they remembered our preference. Very clean room, comfortable bed, nice restaurant and bar environment. Breakfast staff Allen, continues to be a positive representative for the hotel. He meets with us each time and gives us the attention exhibiting kindness by holding great conversation with me and my family. We were informed that their may be a little noise above our floor early morning but never heard it. Meet here for family, friends, business or just to relax our choice when visiting San Francisco.

Over all our stay was great. Breakfast was a little bit crazy as when we got there at 9 am there were no more utensils and they had a difficult time keep up with clean up of the tables. I guess to be expected a little with a free breakfast. But the staff was very nice and helpful. Our over night stay was very good. Considering we were right outside the elevator we thought it was going to be noisy but not all. I would definitely stay there again.

Nothing bad to say. 5 mins from airport, decent price (comparatively speaking.) Clean room, bathroom little small but worked for our family of 4. Good breakfast buffet. If you need a place for a night near the airport and don't need anything overly fancy, I'd recommend it.

Front staff was helpful, breakfast staff not so much. My 12 year old daughter flipped the waffle maker and it tilted to the side. The main breakfast host came and yelled at her she was almost crying when she came to me. I told the front staff and the host was polite the second day. My son told another breakfast employee the milk was going bad and he literally said "ahh na" and walked away. I tried the milk and it was going bad I could not swallow it. The room I booked was not available and had to take a different room. They did discount the price because of that. If a guest says the milk is going bad... at least taste it to see for yourself - even if the person complaining is 14 years old. The only reason I am posting a poor rating instead of terrible is the good service of the main desk staff.

Close to airport with very friendly airport shuttle. Staff at checkin very nice. Power outage since morning but they fixed before nightfall. Pasta in restaurant was average at best, mushroom soup excellent. Waiter helpful but at completion of his shift took payment and assumed with no prompting that balance was his tip, not a small balance and we tip proper.shame as it takes the pleasure away from thanking someone for good service and to assume and keep all change never to return to customer was and is awful. Again we tip at least 15% often more, well he got more and we did not enjoy the giving. Upon checkout staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again but boy..dont give waiter cash. He even was no longer on property anyhow good location with comfortable bed too.

We were overall very happy with our stay... booked 2 double beds, were able to change to a room with one bed..we assumed it would be a queen, it's was 1 double.... impressed with their breakfast!! Loved making the waffles!! Will definitally book again

Clean, friendly staff, easy check in, great restaurant, and extensive breakfast bar. Would definitely recommend and stay there again if I ever get to San Francisco again. The airport shuttle was the reason I chose and really lucked out.

The hotel is updating it's look - furniture, art, beds, etc. so it's a mix of old and new right now. What they are doing well - excellent front desk service, the new beds are very comfortable and there is a good range of breakfast foods to chose from. Also, they were prompt to deal with a "noisy neighbor" down the hall. We caught the hotel on a very, very busy night, but he noise went on past 11 PM, so it was reasonable to complain. They charge for parking - ask about in advance so there are not surprises. Express check out was offered and used. Love that option via Best Western.

Stayed here for 1 night before a flight the following day. Room was ok with a comfy bed however a little bit dated. Easy access to the airport with a free shuttle. Staff are friendly and helpful. Was quite easy to get down to the centre for a day out before the flight as there is the BART train from the Airport.

My husband and twelve year old son stayed overnight at this property before flying back to the UK. Our room had two queen size beds and was clean with good facilities. We had a coffee making machine, air conditioning and a small fridge. The wifi was available in our room and was free. We ate in the restaurant which was good if a little pricey. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Reception staff were the same. There was a pool but we didn't brave this! Breakfast is served from 6am and consists of bacon, eggs, yoghurt, pastries etc. There is a free shuttle bus which runs between the hotel and San Francisco airport. Reception have a timetable and it appears to run 24/7. You can also get it from the airport to the hotel free of charge.

We divided our visit to SF in two 3-day stays, and we stayed at BW Grosvenor the second half. Our room was very nice, clean, comfortable bed. Complimentary breakfast buffet was great - huge selection - well prepared. Front desk employee suggested returning our rental car the evening before our flight using the hotel shuttle. Worked out great - had a lovely dinner at hotel's restaurant and unhurried airport experience. Road noise was not disturbing to us.

The Grosvenor Airport Hotel was conveniently located with plenty of parking space available. The staff was pleasant and the rooms were well maintained. The food at our 50th reunion was well prepared and adequate to please the entire group.

They gave us a room nearest to the elevator that was really convenient for us. Breakfast was included ( they serve rice). Crib is available upon request with no additional fee. Except for the parking that they charge 8$ per night.

The Staff at this hotel will go out of their way to make sure your visit is enjoyable. The price of this hotel is good and better then most. Parking is very reasonable Vs paying $40 - $100 Dollars a night at a hotel in San Francisco. You are very close to Downtown San Francisco and anywhere in the San Mateo Country Area and close to the Airport,

We stayed here to be close to the airport while remaining close to downtown San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland and this is about a centered as possible without finding a houseboat. Breakfast was good, although the space was a little tight later in the morning. I would recommend this property to anyone. About the only complaint is that the windows in our room whistled and didn't seal great. Beds were comfortable so once asleep all was forgotten.

Excellent and patient staff. Honest housekeeping. I lost an item, they found it and mailed it to me. I like the proximity to the airport. The hotel has excellent shuttle service. Every time I'm in the San Francisco area I plan to stay at this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting our favorite Giants team at AT&T Park. The room was perfect with zero issues, very comfortable bed and the housekeeper woman was awesome! Btw, make sure you tip your housekeepers. They take care of you and it's always appreciated. We took a Lyft ride to and from the park which was a good idea if your attending any event! Breakfast was delicious and the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. I only wish I remembered their names so I can give the staff their accreditation. Thank you for the wonderful service. Well be back on the next game we attend

There was no problem for one night stay. The rate includes breakfast but not very delicious. It could be much better if coffee was good. They offer a shuttle bus to the airport every 30 minutes and you don't need any reservation beforehand, which is nice.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. Close to the airport, free shuttle, FULL Breakfast. Rooms are large and very clean. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. If you get a chance to stay there it is worth it.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our vacation and the last two night before leaving for home. Allowed early check in for us and also allow late check out the last night. Appreciate it. Room size was adequate, very very clean and quiet. Only heard the 747s leaving the airport because they were still fairly low on take off. Nice having a McDonalds across the street and gas stations nearby if you need to fill up the rental car. Breakfast was typical Best Western. The stations were always filled up with food. Dining area was on the small size. Good access to the airport if you are looking for that. For our last 2 nights before leaving when we checked in the refrigerator was not working. Unplugged but had to move the heavy dresser out to plug it in. Maintenance came within minutes for calling; impressed. Nine stories high. Room views: one side you get the freeway and the other side McDonalds! Staff was friendly and helpful. Thermostat was a little hard to figure out. If you turn down the temperature one degree, the heat may come on. So you have to work with it. Would stay here again if we come back to San Francisco.

Stayed here to be close to the airport for an early flight. I have no complaints....all aspects of my stay were great and you can't beat the location. It's a great value. The room was clean which is always important and it was comfortable too.

I was just in town overnight so the location to the airport was great. I had to be at SFSU and it was an easy drive. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay with them again when in the area.

Just want to give the hotel staff and its managers a big two thumbs up. I was a volunteer for No Kid Hungry Campaign for six weeks during June and July 2018. From the front desk, to the maids, to the awesome chef and kitchen staff who went above and beyond to make my time from home memorable. I truly appreciate the kindness, the laughter, the hugs and delicious meals prepared each day. THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER!!!!

July 3rd we checked-in. somehow the Hotel.com cancel our reservation I don't know why but the nice lady in the front counter said she can give me a room with the same price that the hotel.com gave me.Made my day . The hotel set up is nice nice aura as you walked in. Coffee and iced water serve in the lobby as you checked-in .The room was cozy its the TV that I'm having hard time watching like it needs athena but everything else is great. Breakfast is awesome my Favorite is the waffle.Our stay in that hotel is the best so far.Thank you Best western.

We stayed at this hotel a couple of times now, rooms are mostly clean, hotel is kinda old but it looks like they try and keep it updated, breakfast was free and okay, parking was 8 bucks and the ATT park is 10 mins away. Originally my price was 143 when I booked, but the day I got to the hotel, it was being advertised for 125 so the clerk adjusted it which was nice. also there is a walgreens near by which is nice for toiletries and snacks. and I also want to mention they let us keep our extra car parked in the parking lot while we watched the game for no extra charge.

I am an exp Biz Traveler - in truth, I didn't stay here, but wished I had! I stayed at Travel lodge next door, was ok, but the BW was obviously much more Biz class place. I ate at the Grosvenor restaurant every night, [ not much else nearby] and the Food was awesome, the staff were super friendly and hospitable, and the other "regular" guests raved about the rooms. Some of the guests literally stay there for months on end as business travelers, working on contracts in the area. That says a lot - its comfy and nice. It was such a friendly bar, I made friend s with some of them, and ate there every night. it was fun. I will stay there next tme as its the best hotel for the money around there.-If you have a car, its way better cost and accommodations than hotels in SF downtown - they all have pools,[ not all heated though!] and there is good local food in S SF, just across the freeway. incl farm to table and craft beer places.[ the Grosvenor also had good beers.]those are my recommendations ! Well, nothing like being able to eat something decent when you are tired. They had vegan pasta, garlic bread, salad, vegetarian spring rolls, spinach, asparagus, and a veggie stir fry. Not complaining. The room was soundproof, not like some hotels I know at LAX for example, and the bed was super-comfortable. Shuttle of course on the 1/2 hour. Free coffee with flavors of non-dairy cream. I'm in!

I always stay here when I'm flying out of SFO in the mornings! Close to the airport, good restaurant, friendly staff and nice rooms with comfortable beds and great WiFi!! The shuttle starts at 4:30 am and it only takes 10 minutes to get to the terminals.

Kita kits with friends from Canada and California. It was a short notice and I don't know w/c hotel to get. We were so happy to had booked in this hotel as it is close to SFO airport and in my place. I was glad that they like the hotel.. cozy and clean. Most of all friendly staff and excellent customer service. Buffet breakfast was great too.

Great Main Floor...but the rooms...blah. Walked in, thought wow, this is nice! Grabbed cart for luggage since we had kids and lots of bags. Took elevator up to sixth floor to room. Got to room, thought, hmm...door is small. Opened door, hmmm cart might not fit. Door only opens so far. There is a stopper so it doesn't smash in to mirror closet door, tight space. Think, ok, it's probably better as we get in. Nope. Bathroom door even smaller. Hair on floor. Caulking nasty and old. Room pretty outdated. Luckily only staying for one night. Crazy guy stealing garbage out of McDonalds garbage can across the street and eating it. Crazy woman staggering around on sidewalk waving arms and going back and forth. Pretty strange area. Has really expensive fuel nearby. Breakfast was ok, but there was a man taking your room number when you walk in to make sure you aren't there to steal food. Was also not impressed with having to pay extra for parking. You would think it would be included considering the cost for the stay.

only gripe would be the water pressure was very low when trying to shower. Bed was very comfortable. Check in process was smooth, and the breakfast was the best breakfast I have had at a Best Western yet.

We stayed for 1 night. We arrived late and tired so we didn't see much of the hotel. Our room was large, quiet and had a comfortable bed in a separate room, outside our room was a sofa bed with TV. There was plenty of parking. We used the park and ride. I will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great place to stay if you are looking for a hotel near the SFO airport. Very friendly and accommodating staff. On time shuttle service, clean and reasonably priced rooms. Includes decent breakfast and location is near the airport and Tanforan shopping mall in case you need to buy anything.

we look forward all winter to our first and last nights stay at the Grosvenor on our biannual motorcycle trip to the states,sutch a pleasure to relax in the bar with our evening meal,the staff all know us and we allways get a great "welcome back,"they do a happy hour from 5 to 7 pm which is worth noting,good comfortable beds,just what we need after a long English winter,keep up the good work Jim we will be back in september

The hotel is located on South Airport Boulevard only a few minutes drive from San Francisco international airport. Nice, clean, professionally managed property in a quiet locality. Complimentary shuttle every half an hour to and from the airport is a big convenience. The rooms are spacious and well maintained with all the basic amenities. The complimentary breakfast is adequate and is served from early morning, 6-00 AM. Wifi is complimentary and is available anywhere inside the premises. Mc Donalds just across the street is very useful for a quick bite. Transport to the city by Uber or by the BART train from the international airport are quite convenient. Recommend this place for a short leisure or business travel.

Found this place last minute. It was the best value for what we could find and it turned out to be wonderful. The staff was super friendly and there was a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. breakfast was standard.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were super clean and beds comfortable. Free shuttle to SFO! They had a grab and go bag for those leaving early, like us, at 4am. It had a apple, granola bar, and juice box.

Arrived at SFO very tired and made our way to BW by hotel shuttle bus - not exactly clear where to wait (just across the road right outside the International terminal) and the vast number of white courtesy buses was confusing (well, it had been a long flight!) but we spotted the right one and were taken rapidly to the hotel. I had asked for a view of some sort and was delighted to see south east over the lower part of San Francisco Bay from our high floor room. All was clean - large room, adequate bathroom, fridge and coffee/hot water machine, two comfortable double beds. We had a quick dip in the heated pool and then a decent meal (large club sandwich for one, proper burger for the other) in the bar (large sports screen) where the atmosphere was friendly. After an excellent night's sleep we had breakfast (which we hadn't realised was included) - good selection of cereals, fruits, baked goods, yogurts and hot options. Then it was off via the courtesy bus to get back to SFO and collect our hire car. Staff were very friendly and efficient on arrival and departure. McDonalds is across the road but I noticed you could order food from the bar and have it packaged to take to you room - nice touch. All in all a convenient place to rest your head on arrival in San Francisco before embarking on a trip. Well done.

We stayed twice at the Best Western Plus Grosvenor, at the beginning and end of a trip to Hawaii. The hotel is in need of updating, but it's clean and comfortable, and the accommodating and friendly staff gets an A+.

We got a room with a separate bedroom and a pull out couch on the living room, very nice. Don't get a room facing the freeway, too noisy and windows don't really shut all the way. Restaurant and bar needs to be remodeled. Free shuttle has at least 4 stops and there is construction so it takes at least 30 minutes to get to the airport. Uber is $10 and it takes 10 minutes, way more convenient.

This is a perfect place to stay for an early morning flight. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. They had a breakfast bag ready at 4am. Everyone was courteous and helpful. CFC ccca vrasde ee.

Stayed for 4 nights at the BW which is a short shuttle bus ride from SFO airport. Room was large with a good sized bathroom - however, no soap was there and despite several calls to housekeeping and reception I had to go down myself and together with security go and get my own soap. Breakfast had a basic selection of hot and cold foods and fruit again however unless you were early they ran out of plates and glasses often. Across the road was a 24 hrs McDonald's and a short walk further was an iHop restaurant. Easiest access to SFO City is to take the free shuttle bus vak to the airport and then Bart train downtown or south to Silicon Valley.

I was impressed by this hotel. I usually stay at Hilton hotels because I know what I'm getting and I appreciate their attention to detail but on this occasion I couldn't find one so I tried BW Plus and even though I was spetical to try somewhere new, I did some research and felt I chose well and I sure did! I loved the quaint lobby, friendly staff, my queen room, complimentary breakfast and amenities available to guests.

I stay at this location almost weekly for business and I recommend it and like it because of its location .Its close to the airport , the city and south bay and another nice thing is there's a restaurant and bar onsite

It was a convenient hotel experience. Good breakfast and shuttle service. Nothing much to do in the area. Good option if using only for transit or something like that. Pool is outdoor and not much of use unless its nice day. Fitness center is adequate

fair price for area. nice staff, using Lyft was convenient to go places. generally quiet on top floor. upgraded to top floor. elevator system worked well. Restaurant food was average, but service was good.

The accommodations were so good that I was sorry I only had a short time to stay (one night and a very early trip to airport). Bed was super comfortable and bedding felt luxurious. Clean and spacious. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall a great hotel. It has onsite restaurant that was good. Free buffet breakfast in the am. Bed was really comfortable. Nine floors. Only complaint is paid parking. I hate paying for parking when you are paying to stay there. I don't understand how this rip off practice got started.

Location: We usually walk or take public transport to most locations, but the ideal part of staying at this hotel is the car parking arrangement while you fly. The way we use it is to park our car in the parking area on the day before we leave. Then, depending on when we return, we spend the next day at the hotel, which gives us a place to eat and relax before and after our trip back home. Transportation: The hotel provides a location to catch a shuttle every half hour that goes back and forth to and from the appropriate airport terminal. The cost of the shuttle comes with the parking arrangement. Any other additional cost would be how much you decide to tip the driver. Food: This hotel provides breakfast for hotel stays. There is a MacDonald's across the street from the hotel but we usually go to the bar and buy something there. They keep the kitchen open until 10:00 PM for late callers. Hotel: The hotel is nice and clean. There are two elevators. Room: The rooms are large enough to accommodate us and a king sized bed without giving up much space. The TV was good and there was a writing table. It was quiet and we had a good view of the local neighborhood and other buildings from our front window. The air conditioner/heater works great. The bathroom was small but it was comfortable for one person and it was furnished with a hair dryer and an adequate supply of bathroom produts. Staff: We had no problem with any of the staff. Entertainment: We were in San Francisco to store our car while we flew to New Orleans. We did not extend our stay there to seek entertainment.

The reception staff was quick and efficient for both check-in and check-out. The breakfast is always excellent with LOTS of choices (waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit, bagels, toast, rolls, etc.). The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet and clean. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes so you can plan accordingly to get to the airport on time. This is our go to hotel when we have an early morning flight or when we arrive back in the Bay Area late at night. Very convenient.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a business trip. Staff are friendly and the place is clean, but it is somewhat out dated, to say the least. Location is good for the airport, but in traffic it is some way outside of the city!

Firstly, we were taken here by the shuttle driver who neglected to inform us there are TWO Best Western Plus hotels at SFO. We ended up having to take a taxi from one Best Western to the one we had reservations at, the reception desk really could have cared less about our hassle. The room was clean, the breakfast was edible that's about it. I simply will not stay here again.

Stayed here on the last night of our vacation to fly back home. Would stay again. Friendly thoughtful staff. Clean room with comfy beds. Booked direct through hotel and received a good rate. Complimentary airport shuttle.

The room was sufficient for a night's stay at the airport - and the price was reasonable. From our room, we heard the cars/trucks going up and down road and it was easy to hear people in the hallway and the TV/people from next door.

The Hotel and the Rooms very always clean. The Staff at the Best Western Grosvenor will always make you feel like family and will go out of their way to make sure you are having a pleasant stay while staying at their hotel. The hotel is close to San Francisco and very easy to get on and off the freeway to get to San Francisco or other parts of the Bay Area. One other thing I Love about this hotel is that it is very quite so when you sleep at night or just watching TV or relaxing you are in a very comfortable space.

Attending an all week conference in downtown SFO so needed a more reasonably priced place to stay rather than the $500-$1000/night hotel near my conference location, At $199/night this was a good alternative. A $12, 20 minute Uber ride from the Airport and 30 to 90 minute $25 (dedicated) Uber ride to down town. Very friendly staff, good sized room with king bed. Best 4 night sleep I've gotten in a long time. Basic amenities, quiet, free American type breakfast, work out area and other additions. If in similar circumstances next visit to SFO I would stay here again.

Park and fly options near San Francisco Airport are becoming less common and more expensive. The Best Western Grosvenor is an excellent affordable choice as of our overnight 4/13/2018 stay prior to our week in Beijing. We used their Park & Fly option & it was much less expensive than the airport long-term parking & much more convenient than having to move our car to some other parking structure before flight time- Super convenient to just get up in the morning, have the included hotel buffet breakfast and take the hotel shuttle the few minutes to the airport. Room was clean & well appointed, with room to spread out and reorganize for the flight & a decent place to relax & read my tour book. USB plugs built in to the lamp bases were a plus. There is room set up off the lobby with several desktops and printers so we were able to do online flight check in and pre-print our boarding passes, also helpful :-) We had dinner at the

I stayed 5 days at this hotel. It was choosed considering the price, the location, the parking and breakfast. It is 5 minutes from the airport and having a car it was a good choice to visit the city and its surroundings. Breakfast is good and people at front desk is kind and helpful. Room is nice and modern with TV and a refrigerator. You have a reasonable WIFI speed. Even though the parking is huge, when arriving late at night you have to search for an space. The good thing is you don`t have to cross the bridges for reaching the town. If you are going to visit, pier 39, Fisherman`s wharf or a ride in the cable car, etc, I recommend to park in front of Pier 39 where are a couple of huge parking places. Leave the car there all day and enjoy the city. To visit/walk Golden gate, there is a cheap parking on the SF side just there. Be careful to leave the car parked on the street, there are a lot of mobile people taking photos. Good Luck

Stayed here one night and that was plenty. Arrived late and the guy at check-in was far from friendly, but at least the process was relatively quick. There was also no one at the desk when I checked out. Room seemed a bit old and was quite noisy, both from the sound of the outdoor boulevard and from the lack of proper soundproofing so I did not get the sleep I was hoping for. Note that the shuttle makes other stops along the way to the airport, but luckily it is very close to the airport so it took about 25 minutes to get there early in the morning. Overall it was a very average experience and I would probably try a different airport hotel if I returned to the area.

Close to SFO so it is a convenient location. Girls at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. As we arrived very late and had not eaten, the bartender was helpful and happy to get us something to eat. Would recommend for anyone flying into SF and need to stay close to the airport.

Shuttle was late...no double windows makes it noisy. Staff did nothing to accommodate our point level....it's not been this bad before and I hope it was an aberration . The faucet when turned on high leaked all over the counter

After not having stayed at a Best Western in many years, I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the free breakfast was great (no powdered eggs here)! This was also probably the cleanest hotel I have stayed in in quite some time. Normally I expect to see a little smudge here and there, but the room was absolutely spotless! Very impressed.

We ended up staying at this hotel due to a road closure and we could not reach our destination. We were a little frazzled to say the least. Hotel staff were excellent finding us accommodation for the night. The room was clean and fresh. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Everything went so well we asked to stay a second night but the following night the hotel was fully booked so we had to move on.
