"Very nice location"

08/07/2018

Stayed here a couple nights while visiting our son who is stationed at the nearby sub base. Very comfortable room with ocean view. Pleasant staff & nice full breakfast buffet for $5 for guests. We didn't use the pool, but it is bigger than a lot of hotel pools. Airport shuttle pickup service is available to SeaTac.

"Nice Location with Attentive Staff"

Nice location--easy access to main road (without being too noisy), shopping, restaurants, and a beautiful view of the inlet. ( If possible, request a room with a view of the inlet.) Best check-in experience we've had in quite some time--the receptionist was super friendly, helpful, and personable. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced ($5 + tax and tip) and well worth it--good variety of hot foods, ability to make toast or waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice etc. Great view of the inlet as you eat too. There is also a nice, paved walking path along the "edge" of the water.

"Worst hotel experience we've had in a long time!"

Called a week ahead and booked a top floor room. We always have problems with heavy footed people above when we don't. I arrive at the hotel to be told that we're on the ground floor. I almost walked out then, and should have. The desk clerk was very nice and tried to help but there were no rooms available on the top so we settled for the second floor. Except for the luke warm shower all was ok until about 10pm, our typical bedtime. The person above arrived and stomped back and forth and moved chairs etc. The people on both sides were blaring their tvs and there were noisy people in the hall. About 11pm we gave up and each took an ambien to sleep. Mine wore off at 4am and the tvs were still blaring so another ambien to get back to sleep. Needless to say I was in terrible condition for meetings the next day. And we paid nearly $200. for this! Breakfast was another $5. + tax each and wasn't worth it. Coffee was terrible and my wife couldn't drink the "orange juice" . Our first & last time at a BW+!

"A great place to stay"

19/06/2018

I was here for a convention of about 60+ former Marines and their spouses. We walked in the door after a long day coming from the other side of the state. Tired and just wante to get my room and unpack. A smiling face and a cheerful “are you checking in” was the first indication of how friendly every one working there really was. The room was very clean and very well maintained. The bathroom could have been just a little bit larger but it was well appointed. The food on site was good. Breakfast is either good or it isn't. It was good and you weren't limited on what, or how much, you took. I heard none of my brothers and sisters complain. We are, by and large, a nitpicking group so no complaints is highly unusual. Lunch was the same thing but not a buffet. No complaints heard. Dinner was great; good variety and very well prepared. The staff was very helpful when I needed things set up for a Memorial service. It was outside overlooking the water. Problems were anticipated and resolved quickly. Again every one was both professional and very friendly. Housekeeping staff was spot on. If I have to be in this area again this is where I will stay.

"Excellent experience"

28/05/2018

We have stayed at this hotel many times while visiting our daughter who was stationed at the Bremerton Naval Base and for other various activities in the area over the last several years. Always had an awesome experience staying at this hotel. Beds are very comfortable and we always get an excellent night's sleep. We enjoy the beauty of the location on the inlet and the proximity to restaurants and shopping.

"My Stay"

27/05/2018

Very nice hotel, not a lot of choice in Silverdale. We visited from out of state and stayed for six nights at this hotel. The staff was very good, room was clean except for the carpet. They have plumbing issues because the tub and sink both drained very slowly. The food and bar are great and so is the service and the view.

"Great hotel"

5
27/05/2018

Our experience was great. We were a family of four with 2 small children. The pool is a good size, with a gorgeous view of the inlet. There were laundry facilities. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Fantastic"

Fantastic service! Cassandra was amazing and remembered every detail to make our event a success. Hotel was clean, full breakfast buffet was included in the price of the room. Hotel is located right on the water with an incredible, peaceful view..

"Excellent staff, room and dog friendly "

20/05/2018

Loved this place and staff. The front desk lady on afternoon to evening was amazing and enjoyable. I think her name was Trudy. Give her a raise. The cleaning staff, great too. The room was clean, quiet and comfy beds and linens. Definitely a great location for the dogs too as they could eat on the patio with us. And the walking path with beach is great.

"Best spot in Kitsap County"

19/05/2018

Folks, the Silverdale Beach Hotel is one of the best properties you will stay at. The atmosphere is great. Patio area makes it feel like your backyard. Water views are inviting and luxurious. These folks serve the best hotel breakfast period! You will enjoy your stay.

"Comfortable, nice view, and close to everything."

18/05/2018

We placed our reservation on the BW app, painless! The staff were attentive and engaging. The hotel was clean but you could tell it had been quite a while since the last update. Floors squeaked in places but not surprised since most hotels are like this. The bed was very comfortable, almost rivaled the at home. The room was peaceful and quiet with a great view of the bay. Our room had a gas fireplace and a whirlpool tub. The fireplace was run off a timer which at first I thought was odd but after using it I felt it was a great idea. The bathroom had an actual working fan with a timer! Unheard of anymore but I think it's a great thing. The whirlpool tub worked great and was clean and didn't cool off. The towels were nice, not scratchy and didn't smell like locker room towels. The room had a bigger than normal refrigerator/freezer that was quiet enough to not wake me during the night. The only issue I had at this hotel was the breakfast. They charge $5.00 and only had 1 gluten free option, Chex cereal. I have had the eggs and potatoes at other BW and had no issue so I had them and regretted it. I passed on the ham slices that were half fat.

"Exceptional staff and a great property"

17/05/2018

We were in town for a Memorial Service for my Mom. Several other fami9ly members staying at the same hotel. In spite of the sad circumstances we had a wonderful stay. The pool and property are lovely and the staff is kind, friendly, helpful and professional. Can't rate them highly enough.

"Very Nice Place to Stay"

12/05/2018

Our Room was on the third floor and faced the mountain. The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. We at dinner in the restaurant downstairs and were entertained with the weekly trivia game. The food was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was some confusion about the price of the breakfast buffet. We thought it was included with the room, but it was an extra fee. The food was good but it was consistent with other BW properties where there is no extra fee. I would definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

"Best View-Best Staff-Great Location"

12/05/2018

I stayed at this hotel for a week between jobs. I chose it because it was out of the city and had good ratings. I had no idea that it would be this good. First, for the business traveller it is an excellent hotel if you are working at the submarine base. Very close and easy access. For the vacationer or weekend getaway it is outstanding as well the location close to Bainbridge and the ferries puts you close to anything on this side of the sound. This is also an excellent venue for weddings, class reunions, parties and business events with a large meeting/event room. You cannot beat the view and the outside patio. Plus, there is the fire pit. The grounds were immaculate and next to a park. I couldn't have found a better place to spend a week decompressing.

"PET friendly!!"

07/05/2018

Enjoyed walking our dogs and riding our bikes along the waterfront. Restaurants, Shopping Mall and multiple parks conveniently located at walking distance. Great value for location and proximity to major routes.

"Skip the $5 breakfast!"

06/05/2018

Enjoyed the stay except having to pay five dollars for that cold breakfast. The room was clean and nice, and the maid service was excellent. The mattress was extremely comfortable as were the pillows.

"Trip to Silverdale , Washington"

05/05/2018

We had a view of the water from our room. Every employee was friendly and very helpful. Our room with 2 queen beds was perfect and very quiet. We enjoyed a great prime rib dinner at the restaurant. As we came in the hotel there is a large fireplace in the waiting room, warm and inviting. We will surely stay here again.

"Great Place to Stay!"

30/04/2018

The staff are all very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a great water-front view from our room. A great value for the price of the room. I would definitely recommend this to friends or family if they needed to stay in the area.

Value for your Money. Great location, central to many area attractions, right on the water Puget sound, wonderful service and sumptuous breakfast; at nominal price; It is close to shopping and many restuarants. we plan to come back.

"great time"

25/04/2018

we were in town for an aunts 100th birthday party and we were thrilled with our room. The room was comfy, the view was great. It was a busy time but the halls were quiet which was awesome. We will be using Best Western again

"Waterfront delight"

5
23/04/2018

I have stayed many times in this hotel and the food, service, cleanliness is always excellent. The Kitsap Airporter shuttle will drop you at the front door and there is plenty of free parking if you have your own vehicle. Breakfast buffet is very inexpensive with decent selection of hot and cold items. Restaurant menu has nice selection and good quality. The waterfront location is within walking distance of grocery, drug store, several good restaurants and it is nice to take a stroll along the footpath, or take one of the hotel bicycles for a little scenic break from work or conference. Rooms are ample size with coffee making and refrigerator - always clean and well serviced.

"Wonderful spot in a cool town"

16/04/2018

Nice hotel tucked in one the water. Staff gave great advice for places to visit and dine out. The pool and hot tub were clean and worked great. Overall the staff was amazing and seemed to genuinely enjoy there job and care about their guests. The location is close to several shopping centers and areas to walk. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone traveling through the area!

"MAKE SURE. BREASKFAST IS INCLUDED"

3
11/04/2018

Web site said Breaskfast was included when we were already eating told we had to pay for Breaskfast. I spoke with the front desk about this, they only said that because I used our Triple AAA discount (mind you this only 10% discount) that Breaskfast was now no included with our hotel stay. I told the front desk that on the Bestwestern web-site the price included a Full Breaskfast. She once again said sorry no because of our getting thrTripleAAA discounts??????? MAKE SURE BREASFAST IS INCLUDED WITH OUR STAY!!!!!!

"Good hotel"

09/04/2018

Good hotel, staff was great. Would stay again. We stayed here for a gymnastics competition. A LOT of kids were there and unfortunately they were not respectful to those that were trying to sleep. Running and screaming down the hallways as well as the parents. Besides that the hotel was good. The breakfast had a good variety. Wi-Fi was inconsistent while we were there.

"KINDA GROSS"

09/04/2018

Finding toe nail clippings in a bed should not ever be an option! Just saying... Expecting sheets to be cleaned between guests should be MANDATORY for all hotels. They say they do it, but obviously not. Have pictures, but will save you all the visual!

Genie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
It is mandatory to change all bed linens including the top sheets and blankets between every guest. I will address this with housekeeping and follow up with you. Thank you for your time to review.

"Good service, terrible sleep due to noise"

3
08/04/2018

Nice hotel. Unusually nice staff. Had too much noise from large family above us for hours on a Saturday morning. Floors are terrible and creek with any movement above. Hotel should fix this and also not book large families like this with little kids on the third floor. Family was extremely disrespectful but hotel should fix the floors. Staff did talk to the family multiple times. Would not stay for this reason. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Also, bar in hotel draws local crowd for drinking at night and some sort of card games in the morning. Nice people but drinking was abundant on Friday night and they overflowed into lobby. Kept my 10 year old close and not necessarily a family environment. For adults they were all very happy and having fun so great if this is what you are looking for.

"What A Pleasant Surprise!"

5
03/04/2018

We were looking for a place to stay while celebrating our son's 30th birthday and our granddaughter's 5th birthday. We had never seen this facility and I must admit, I was a bit hesitant. Was I surprised. . . very pleasantly! The staff was AMAZING! They were so very helpful, and the breakfast was a nice change to the American continental breakfast offered by so many establishments. The rooms were clean and the hotel was well kept. We now have a place to stay (and look forward to doing so) on our next visit to Silverdale! Thank you Best Western Silverdale!!!

Genie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
I'm so happy to hear that you had such an amazing stay with us. Our team strives to make our guests feel welcome and to be helpful and I'm glad we were able to accomplish that. I hope we can make your next stay with us an even better one and please send the two of them a Happy Birthday from all of us at the Best Western!

"Pleasant Easter weekend stay"

03/04/2018

Hotel was clean, quiet, and staff was very helpful. Good parking, very accessible to all restaurants and towns in Silverdale and surrounding community. Nice view from the beach side rooms, overall a very good experience and I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

"Good location for a Meeting"

5
01/04/2018

Great location, helpful staff as well as a good restaurant and bar onsite. Located right on the bay with waterfront views. Close to shopping and other restaurants if you choose to go elsewhere. This is a perfect place to stay!

"Very nice hotel, staff and location!!!"

26/03/2018

from the time we walked in, the staff greeted us, got us into our room quickly, gave us a 20% coupon to use in the restaurant even! Free breakfast daily, which was very good!!! Rooms are comfortable and in the process of getting remodeled. Right on the water, beautiful grounds!!! Firepit was really nice! bikes to use even!! and the indoor pool was warm, (most are COLD)! I recommend eating here, their chef was incredible. the prime Rib was the best my husband has tried! Halibut and Chips were GREAT!!! and if you are a wing lover, try the hell on fire wings!!! WHEW!!! We certainly will return!!! Deano and Kristine, Auburn WA

"Great night with a water view"

5
23/03/2018

I loved this Silverdale Best Western. I noticed it was right on the water and wanted to stay there immediately. Had a great connecting room with a friend and we were able to sit in front of our windows to the water with our drinks in our own rooms and yet have the door open between us for conversation. It was a blast. The view terrific. Saw a bald eagle and other bird life on the water. Room was comfortable and staff was just wonderful.

Genie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
That does sound like a wonderful trip. Drinks, friends, the view, it would take a lot to top that. I love watching the various wildlife from the eagles to the otters and sometimes far off even a few orcas. We appreciate your time.

"Great Hotel with nice amenities at a great price."

5
18/03/2018

I stayed at the Best Western for a business trip and couldn't have been happier. I was in a room that had a small balcony overlooking the lake. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept in for a hotel. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. The rate was also very reasonable. The hotel included free breakfast which was a full breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruit, etc. Very good. The location is also great. There are a ton of great restaurants in silverdale and even more in nearby small towns. Internet worked well and was free. The only criticism I have is that I could clearly hear anyone that was out on the patio which my room looked over. The hotel has a nice fire pit area next to the lake, but people tend to sit out there and talk as you'd expect. One morning, I could here the person on someone's phone. Hopefully the hotel will invest in some better sound proof doors/windows for their lakeside rooms. Still, a 5 star review since everything else was so nice.

Genie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
Thank you for the review. It is nice when travelling, especially for work, to find a place that fits what you need. We are glad that we could provide you with a little retreat from your work while you were with us.

"My favorite hotel in Silverdale!"

5
12/03/2018

I've lost count as to how many times my husband (sometimes our dogs) and I have stayed at this hotel. The customer service and quality of our stay is always excellent. The view, the amenities and the comfort of each room make this our favorite hotel in Silverdale.

Genie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
Wow! What a great compliment! We strive to bring our guests the excellent service they deserve. I am thrilled we hit the mark with you and your family.

"Cant beat the view"

3
03/03/2018

This was my second time staying here when visiting my daughter who is stationed in the Navy close by. If you want a view of the water, you can't beat this place. We stayed in a corner room this time, and there is a balcony with a couple chairs and just a great view of the beach and water. It also had a fireplace, but instead of a chair, there is a corner ledge with a cushion you can sit on, or the desk chair. In this room, the sink is outside the shower area which is nice. The shower itself was ok, but the tub always held quite a bit of water while showering and the grout on the tiles could use some deep cleaning. The hotel is a bit worn looking, but they had a huge shipment of new furniture all around the hotel in boxes, so that may certainly spruce it up a bit when its all put away. Beware the hallways, they are cold, especially the hallway to the pool! Better wear a nice robe or coat when you go swimming. The staff here is extremely pleasant and helpful, they make up for the areas that are lacking.

Genie P, General Manager at Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
We appreciate the time you took in giving such a thorough review. I agree we have some amazing views. We do apologize for the inconvenience the boxes caused but love the new furniture. The rooms certainly feel much more updated now. We look forward to seeing you again!

"Great Stay Great Restaurant!"

24/02/2018

Upon our arrival we were very welcomed to the Best Western Plus Silverdale Washington by Greg! We signed up for Best Western Rewards and automatically received a 10% discount on our rate PLUS WE WERE GIVEN A 20% off coupon for dinner which we decided to try as Prime Rib w/fresh asparagus , loaded baked potato and salad were one of the Friday night offerings. My husband was happy with his Woodruff Reserve “neat” during happy hour x 2! Now for our 3rd floor room. Brand new furnishings and carpet (no yucky smells) a great shower , quiet and comfortable.

"If you want view of the water in Silverdale - this is the place"

4
12/02/2018

We stayed here on a Sunday night that was booked on one of those travel websites. The manager kindly put us in a better room with a view of the inlet. The hotel is a bit old but the price is reasonable for what you get. The staff are very nice. When called they quickly came with fresh bedsheets for the pull out bed and brought a hair dryer. Breakfast is ok but costs just $5. (Pretty much what you would expect - cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, sliders, fruit salad, waffles, etc.) If you want a room view a view, this is the place to stay. They of course have a pool, hot tub and exercise room. There is no cost for parking. I would compare this against going to Harrison Hot Springs. Watch out for deals - they sometimes advertise on Groupon. Call the hotel first and see what they can do for you. You can get a 3-night package for around $250. Without we were at $200 CAD. There is a walkway by the water. Lots of restaurants in the area - check out happy hour, and the mall is right there (as well as Costco and Trader Joes). You get here by a quick ferry ride for $15 from one of three terminals (we took the Edmonds - Kingston crossing). If you are from Seattle, this is a close getaway. From Vancouver it takes a little over four hours, but then you can spend the whole day in Seattle or spend it shopping and avoid duty ($800 exemption). If I were to go to Silverdale again, then I would stay again. Think of it like a cheap getaway.

We got a corner king room with a jetted tub. Loved the balcony overlooking the bay. Got some great pictures! Jetted tub was a bit smaller than I expected but still nice to relax in after climbing through the USS Turner Joy. The hotel is quiet and relaxing. We seen blue herons and even a bald eagle!

Thisbhoyel has the friendliest staff!! Your treated like family. We only stayed one night so we didn't get to use any amenities. The rooms were modern and it looked as though they were being up graded due to all the many entertainment boxes on the hallway. The view is amazing of your on the water side. The pool is huge and the outdoor entertaining space looks inviting and relaxing. I only live an hour away but I would definatley stay here again.

My husband and I loved it. Friendly staff. Good location. Clean hotel and rooms. Comfy bed. Will for sure go back. It is right on the beach. They have a fire pit and took the time to make a fire even in winter. Indoor large pool, that was not packed. Loved it.

"Clean Hotel with a Stunning View of the Water"

05/01/2018

I stayed at the Best Western for four nights. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff were great. The view from my room was awesome and there was a running trail located behind the hotel which ran along the water which was very nice. The gym was small but had the essentials. The price was very reasonable. I will stay here every time I visit Silverdale.

good hotel, good amenties, friendly staff, the double rooms could be a bit bigger. It was a little cramped for our family but otherwise everything else was great. We especially enjoyed the pool and spa, the breakfast buffet was good.

We enjoyed our stay at the Silverdale Beach Hotel. It was great to wake up to the water, warm up by bonfires, and explore local shops. SBH is near lots of delicious local restaurants and many hikes (easy-hard) for those seeking some PNW adventure.

Nice quiet and comfortable place to stay; dogs are welcome and staff very efficient. Bed and pillow could be upgraded. Check to make sure you have shampoo and conditioner...our container was empty...but for the most part very satisfied with staff and hotel and service.

Great location, friendly staff. Fire pit in the back was great not to mentions it is Waterfront property.Heated pool long enough to swim a few laps. One bedroom/ king was kind of small but nothing to complain about. Will stay here again. One of the best hotels to stay in the Silverdale area.

"Business Trip"

5
18/12/2017

I thouroughly enjoyed my stay at this location. First time being in this area. Hotel is near restaurants and shopping. Hardly any traffic if your trying to get to the NAB for business. Close drive to the ferry if you want to visit Seattle instead of staying in the city. Ask for a room with the view of the bay!

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY"

18/12/2017

Food was awful, AC was broken we had to sleep with our patio door open bathroom was to small staff (except Doug the front office manager who was amazing) were rude. rooms over priced for the view and over all quality I will never stay at this hotel again unless it is free.

Thank you for your comments. We take all criticism very seriously. I am very surprised to hear you had any issues with our staff. I will follow up more with them, that is not a common complaint. I will pass on your kind comments to Greg, the front desk manager! Thank you for your time.

Great room for a relaxing time together with a great view for the morning when you get up...and is there is anything that can be done for you it seems it will be...like asking for rose petals, chocolates, and champagne...a nice touch for such a time.

"Convenient location"

4
13/12/2017

I had just a one night stay. The hotel staff were very efficient and kind. Check in, breakfast, directions and checkout went very smoothly. The location on the water is beautiful, especially from the dining area. Hand baked cookies at reception are welcoming. I would recommend you ask for a room that has had heat upgrades. Mine was not functioning well. I did learn in the morning that staff is in call throughout the night if there are any concerns. That's a plus.

This was a great place to stay in Silverdale. Easy to get to, close to local breweries and Starbucks. The front desk provided excellent service. Enjoyed the bar/lounge area and outside fire pit. It was a great place to relax. Breakfast was superb with an excellent selection of items. Pool and hot tub were great.

The best Best Western around, walking distance from restaurants, and bars, nice walking trail on Clear Creek. Right on the water with beautiful views. Easy on and off the highways. For sure a repeat stay.

We were in Washington to attend my brothers funeral and memorial. We received great service and the rooms were warm and comfortable. The front desk people were very helpful and understanding to our needs for the four days we were there.

Nice little hotel on the water. I stayed here a full week and attended a conference here. Rooms were nice, hot tub is nice and hot, and breakfast is pretty good. It is an older hotel that has been well kept with great friendly staff. A funky path to get to the pool/hot tub. I would recommend staying here and plan to bring the family here sometime.

"My favorite training venue and the Best Place in All of Kitsap County"

04/12/2017

I am a Department of Defense contractor and found this place many moons ago at the start of my career. My colleagues and I have delivered dozens of classes/workshops for DOD senior leadership, personnel and staff over the past 10+ years. The experience and support I have received as a training director, instructor and guest seems to get better each and every time I visit. My most recent experience was just five weeks ago and I back to deliver another program this week. The rates to host training events are extremely competitive. Cassandra and staff in the Sales/Catering office go well beyond the extra mile to ensure you have the best possible experience. Frankly, there are others that are also very nice, but there is nothing that even comes close in the entire area (I have tried them all ;). I would like to say thank you to all my friends at the BWSBH for their years of support, and give a special shout out to Greg and Tonya at the Front Desk, Nathan in the Martini Lounge, and Cora in the Beachfront Restaurant. When you travel/deliver training for a living, there are many factors that determine the overall success of your programs, and quality of the venue and support of the staff/team play a MAJOR role in the client/student/speaker experience. I only wish every city I traveled to/worked in had a place like the Best Western Silverdale Beach Hotel. Thanks guys, you rock!!

"Best place to stay"

02/12/2017

We stay at this hotel often. The staff is incredible. We visit with my son who is stationed in Bremerton, then usually take our 3 and 6 year old grandsons back to the hotel with us and take them in the hot tub and pool for a couple of hours. Occassionally they stay the night with us. In good weather, there is a wonderful walking trail right near the hotel. The staff go out of their way to talk to the kids about their visit which just thrills them.

"I Highly Recommend This Hotel"

30/11/2017

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The accommodations and service are exceptional. I am always greeted with a smile, and my name, when I come here. Jose, Greg and Alex, at the front desk, are always there to help me and ensure my stay is comfortable and satisfactory. Cora, in the restaurant, always greets me with a hearty "Good Morning" and makes sure my coffee cup is full. Ethan and Mike, in the lounge, always welcome me and provide some excellent conversation. The food at the breakfast buffet is hot and very tasty. I have dinner each night in the lounge, which serves the same food as the restaurant. There is an excellent choice of appetizers and entrees. I recommend the Fettucine Alfredo. If you prefer Nachos, they are piled high! I will be returning in two weeks. I look forward to my stay. It's nice to say at a hotel that makes me feel right at home.

"Overall great stay"

We had a nice weekend and the kids love the indoor pool. Great location. The lobby is very nice with cookies and apples and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever seen at hotel. The only down turn was the Chinese food from the restaurant was horrible.

I am handicapped in a wheelchair and the staff was wonderful, helpful and very personable! We ate in the Restaurant for breakfast and dinner, staff was wonderful, extremely helpful and very sweet! "Nice, Comfortable Hotel"

25/11/2017

Even though my stay was a short one, (1 night for Thanksgiving) I really enjoyed it. Upon my arrival I was met by a very friendly front desk manager, who explained all the amenities and activities. My room was equipped a fridge, microwave, coffee pot w/plenty of coffee, and a very comfortable bed! The location is perfect for shopping, dinning, and less than a 1/4 mile from Harrison Medical Center. I recommend this hotel and will be staying here again!

Clean comfortable rooms. A nice view of the inlet. If you don't want to eat in the hotel restaurant, there are plenty of food options within walking distance. Pet friendly! Dog waste stations along the walking path. They have bicycles for use here! This is a great place for a business event. Indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. They even have washers and dryers for use.

My wife and i stayed at the Silverdale Beach Hotel and although had a few issues that were for the most part quickly resolved by the professional staff. Renee and Greg being the highlights of the trip made any issues worth enduring. Highly recommend staying there if staff and problem resolution is important.

"Another Excellent Stay"

This hotel maintains a high level of customer service. The staff has a can-do attitude. The hotel is well maintained, beds are very comfortable and common areas are always clean and tidy. The views are picturesque and really enjoy the trails along the beach. I highly recommend this hotel for business or liesure

"Perfect even in bad weather"

20/11/2017

Spa, indoor pool, great breakfast , badaboom. why stay anywhere else. Internet works great. Channels were enough to keep you busy and room was quiet even with the stormy weather outside. the sliding glass door was nice as well, since it gives you a great view of the beach.

"Excellent hotel on a beach in a city!!"

5
13/11/2017

We had a fabulous, relaxing stay at this hotel. It was a great find and we will be returning for sure. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, and it had a lovely setting on a beach, adjacent to a great walking path. Because the hotel is pet-friendly, we were able to bring our dog to enjoy it with us! The rate included breakfast so we took advantage of a bountiful buffet breakfast each morning. Lots of items to choose from and they were tasty and plentiful. Last, the hotel is very convenient to great restaurants and anything you need (shopping, movies, etc) while also being so close to nature and views. Highly recommended!

"Broken shower"

13/11/2017

Shower faucet was broken and water would not turn off. Had to phone staff. Tub/sinks drained poorly. Told, “don't use shower. Use the other parties shower next door since you got two rooms”. This however was Not an option since that room was for the males! ?? Had four females in our room, not a good experience.

"Great Stay"

Great location, attentive staff and big breakfast spread at great value. We'll be staying with them again whenever we are in Silverdale, Washington for family visits. The view of the inlet is a plus and the nearby walks along it's edge are a perfect start of the day.

My wife and I love this hotel, from the beach to the fires outside, live music Friday's and Saturday nights to the comfy beds and breakfast as well, we need to have a getaway soon back to this amazing place with magnificent views

"Loved Silverdale, the view, and the people!"

5
06/11/2017

The location was perfect and beautiful! What an amazing staff! Very welcoming, friendly, professional and genuinely enjoying working there! Joel Gibson Jr. (a Country singer) played in the lounge. We're not big on country music, listen and enjoy on occasion, but this guy is really an amazing, gifted artist. We planned to leave after our meal but was captivated by his music, story, and presence that we ended staying (and singing along too) for all three sets). Nice to see a young artist up and coming with his wife beside him and having a great influence in his music and great support too. We will definitely return and are now following Joel Gibson Jr!

"Great Location"

06/11/2017

Very good location on the water with great pool area for adults and kids. Live music in the bar on the weekend we were here. close to the Kitsap fairgrounds and plenty of shopping and malls nearby if that's what you are looking for

"Fine Hotel with balcony overlooking Dyes Inlet, very clean, nice bar and friendly staff..."

05/11/2017

Our stay was great even though we had two issues. The manager made sure we were taken care of promptly. First issue, gentleman in the suite above us was a constant pacer keeping us awake all night. We were moved immediately to the top floor and they helped us repack and move. The second issue could not be resolved, which was the breakfast in the hotel. Thankfully, there was a restaurant across the street, plus we also had a refrigerator and a microwave. There was also a grocery store across the street which was very convenient. The pool and whirlpool was indoor which was great. We used both. Also, there were washers and dryers downstairs so our laundry was done before going home, Yeah! All in all, we would absolutely stay there again. The water was beautiful and we saw plenty of geese and some bald eagles. The manager and staff was a definite plus.

"Great place to stay!"

"Silverdale Beach"

25/10/2017

Older property, but the only place I could find online that had an inhouse bar and restaurant. Rooms were adequate and clean, good showers. The lobby was very nice, with comfortable sitting areas. Bar area was odd - very open, almost like an old banquet room, with mainly uncomfortable chairs. opened onto a beautiful patio, with large firepit that would have been nice had the weather been better. Food left a lot to be desired - and breakfast buffet was not included in the price (unusual for a Best Western). It wasn't unreasonable, but we could have walked across the street for a better breakfast for only a couple of dollars more. Not a bad place, and for the Bremerton/Silverdale area, probably one of the best available.

The only hotel we could find in the area that had an attached bar/restaurant. Needs updating badly, particularly rooms, bar/restaurant, but very clean. Beautiful view, comfortable beds. Very nice lobby with sitting area, and if the weather had been better, beautiful outdoor patio. Restaurant was so-so. Cold atmosphere, and food was adequate, with my "special" being cold and not fully ccoked. Wonderful, friendly staff in all areas.

Great hotel with awesome water view! Nice pool, hot tub, and sauna...Great martini bar with great service too! The grounds are very nice with trails for walking/biking/running along the water. If you can swing a corner King suite with water views, you won't be disappointed. So peaceful and just breathtaking. This property is close by (walking distance) from a variety of restaurants from Starbucks and fast food to familiar chains and local sea food. The staff was amazingly friendly, helpful and professional. The room was great! The complimentary breakfast was pretty varied although I left for work most mornings so early I missed it. Would gladly stay here again.

"Still the best place on the Hood Canal"

04/10/2017

Wonderful rooms of course, but what is really nice are the grounds. You can go for a really nice walk which can take you into a small reserve. The chef in the restaurant is very accommodating. My dinner here was 9 times better than I had at that expensive resort down the road.

"Helpful staff"

5
02/10/2017

This was our first time to visit to Silverdale. We wanted to spend some time in Seattle at Pike's Place and at the Pier, but I was nervous about taking the ferry over. Customer service rep at the counter was very informative and had some solid advice and tips on how to take the stress out of the equation. Taking her advice, our afternoon went off smoothly without a catch so we were able to enjoy the afternoon without worrying about parking downtown, missing the ferry back, getting on the wrong ferry, etc.

"Family trip"

2
26/09/2017

I was very disappointed with the service of the hotel. My room was changed at the last minute which gave me a rooftop View and not a water View. Went downstairs to the breakfast buffet in the morning and ended up paying $5 for a bagel. Had to wait to check in because the staff was having a conversation. The room was decent and clean the bed was comfortable and the cleaning stuff did a good job with the room.

"Best local hotel in Silverdale"

5
25/09/2017

Service was excellent; room, beds, pillows comfortable and inviting; buffet breakfast was well presented, good choices and plentiful and, depending on the vouchers available, was either free or $5. Locals actually came in and paid for the breakfast. There is a nice bar and dinner is also available.

"My Favorite Hotel in Washington!"

25/09/2017

I am looking forward to returning to this hotel in a couple weeks. I especially appreciate the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion dispensers in the room. I know when I come back, I don't have to pack these items in my luggage because it is already provided. And it is good quality stuff!

"Staff"

21/09/2017

We stayed at this hotel for a business meeting. The staff was awesome! From the front desk persons to the bartender! All great and very friendly! The view from our room was amazing! The food was not all that great tho. I would recommend not eating dinner there. All in all a great place to stay.

"Great stay and View of area"

From a (late) arrival, the desk staff was very accommodating and the hotel was superb. Heating/AC was good and comfort of the King Room was better then advertised. Would stay there again and again! Great location!

"50th High School Class Reunion"

Reunion was held at their conference room and on the patio. Everything went smoothly and the room and service were fine! Breakfast is not included in the room price, but we were given a special rate of only $5 each since we were with a large group. We'll stay with them again if our next reunion is held there!

"The Musty Motel"

2
21/09/2017

This hotel is just ok. The views are nice if you have a water front room and outdoor areas are a cool spot to sit if the weather is nice, but it is not what they advertise. It says beach hotel, and last time I checked a beach included sand. I did not eat at the restaurant but my colleagues said that it was good and the martini bar seemed to be hopping Friday night when they had a band there. However, the hotel drastically needs a makeover. It is out of date and reeks of a musty ocean smell. I had a standard king room with parking lot view (so definitely not the best room in the hotel), but the room had a lot of wasted space and the bathroom is TINY! You have to literally have to step over the toilet to close the door so you can access the shower. The closet is large and hold up to three suitcases, so that was nice since I was staying here for two weeks. In addition, the bed is extremely uncomfortable. To say I was disappointed in the pool, gym, and laundry facilities is an understatement! The pool had just been chlorinated and the staff didn't post a sign. When I went swimming I started itching all over and ended up covered in a rash all over my body. The pool also has mildew growing all over the drain and back side of the pool, which I didn't notice until I got in. The gym equipment is outdated and most of it is broken. The treadmill kind of works, but is dangerous. I started to work out on the treadmill and the belt started, stopped, and then started moving fast unexpectedly causing me to fall. I advised the front desk to please put a sign on it so other guests don't get injured like me. After returning two days later it was still broken and there wasn't a sign. Overall I don't think the hotel was awful, but it definitely need a remodel on EVERYTHING.

"Great staff"

5
20/09/2017

Let me just say that the city is the nicest, friendliest, cleanest city that I have visited in a long time. It reminds me of Disney or Mayberry RFD but larger. Let me acknowledge the staff. The front desk staff were friendly but busy at times. The housekeeping staff were busy working early in the morning and friendly also. I especially want to mention the staff at breakfast time and the bartenders in the afternoon / evening of Ethan, Mike Shaffer, the other Mike, Roz, and Ray. Overall, you will enjoy your visit to these folks.

"Nice place to stay."

12/09/2017

The front desk clerk was the first person we encountered when entering this hotel and I must say, she was very personable and friendly. I was a little disappointed to not be able to enjoy the breakfast because of my work hours, but enjoyed the buffet when I previously stayed here.

Beautiful waterside location of this dog-friendly property has basically cornered the market in Silverdale. Frontline staff busted every move to make our stay a good one. We wound up helping to buss our own tables to make service easier for them. Menu is excellent and well-prepared, as well as reasonably priced. Rooms are clean and quiet, well-maintained.

I use a wheelchair on a daily basis, but was unable to get an ADA unit (they were booked solid for those units). I'm usually able to navigate my way in hotels, even in non-ADA units. This was not the case here. The door width was too narrow to properly allow entry in my chair. Due to the small quarters and orientation of the door, I would not have been able to close the door when inside. Another potential issue to note is the height of the bed. A transfer board or assistance may be needed, so keep that in mind. All that said, the room was clean, the staff was nice, and the breakfast buffet was great. It is a $5 charge, but totally worth the upgrade from a traditional, sparse "continental" breakfast most are used to experiencing.

"Nice but noisy stay"

06/09/2017

I was very happy with most aspects of this hotel. The staff were great and the $5 breakfast buffet was very good. However, I paid more for a room with a water view. What I didn't know was that these rooms overlook the outdoor music venue and the patio bar. The noise level from the live bands made it impossible to sleep. The bands stopped at 10-11 pm but the loud conversations did not. Ask for a room without the view if you want to go to sleep early.

good location, clean, free bikes for check out, CONS: bad, cheap pillows, not enough lighting, need mirror in room for make up, low speed WIFI, light in bathroom is on a sensor that goes off after 5 min. You will need to pull the shower curtain, wave at the light - every 5 min. Water pressure for the shower is extremely high - it blows the shower curtain everywhere - wet floor every time. To get hot water, you'd need to turn the control knob all the way to the right = high water pressure. Such a waste of water! Room keys are extremely sensitive. Had to re-key 3 times.

This motel has a really good location. It's not too loud the rooms were very nice and clean and so was the motel overall which is the most important thing to me. Staff upfront could've been friendlier. But everything else was great. I strongly suggest you don't eat the breakfast. The wait staff seem to be overwhelmed and shorthanded there was no plates or silverware when we got there

Hotel on the lake/inlet shoreline with excellent view of tide action and water fowl activity from balcony. Mornings excellent for running with moderately challenging hills; reward - nice view before making a descent. Fireplace in the corner/King suite was nice!

If you like to shower in the dark, this one's for you! Timed light goes out too soon. Bring a parka, too. The common areas and breakfast room were freezing! It's a long walk if you're placed in rooms at the far end of the two arms.

The property is close to the watet and the view from the rooms is good. They are upgrading the furnishings. It is located on an excellent urban trail through the wetlands for an exercise option. They charge an extra $5/ person for the standard BW brkfst.

Treated rudely by particular staff members at the desk. Loud music from bar can be heard in rooms, as well as some young drunken (presumably), people partying next door talking loudly on their balcony keeping us awake 'til around 3:30 am.

I chose the hotel because it is convenient as a stop on the Kitsap shuttle. I was surprised to find how nice it was, how friendly the staff was, and how pleasant the walk around the lake was. Special thanks to the staff for recommending a brewpub that was within walking distance, but which I would not have found on my own.

Overpriced, worn out, dirty. This hotel needs a complete remodel and I would never stay there again. The first room I was assigned to was so small I could barely walk around in the room. But worse than that, it had a horrible smell. The staff offered to put an exhaust fan in there but I insisted on a new room.

17/08/2017

We spent 2 nights here as we travelled through Washington. The view was lovely and the hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great with many choices. Wish I could say the same about our dinner but I cannot. Not sure what happened but our dinner was over cooked fish, mushy asparagus and cold rice. Too bad because everything about the hotel was just fine. Nice place to relax and enjoy the view!! I would stay there again but probably not eat dinner there.

The Best Western in Silverdale is great. Beautiful location. Very convenient to everything we needed. Only problem were the mattresses -- memory foam which are not made for active sleepers requiring actually waking up to turn over throughout the night -- yawwwwnnnn. Everything else was wonderful, though.

"Noise was a problem"

Due to noise from the hallway and floor above, I would not stay at the Silverdale Best Western again.I was also dissatisfied with the fact that there was a charge for breakfast and with the quality of the food at breakfast. In addition, the AC was not working in the fitness room and it was extremely hot.

Always stay at this hotel when in the Silverdale Area...The view of the water is spectacular. Maybe the best of all is the breakfast buffet. You do not want to miss this big spread (certainly like no other Best Western which I have ever stayed). Great parking and pool/hot tub accommodations.

23/07/2017

We stayed one night at this Best Western having come up to Seabeck for a wedding. We were greeted nicely by the desk staff and thanked for being Platinum members. We had requested a water view room with a King Bed. The room was clean and nicely appointed, with a wonderful view of the water. The bathroom is small, but functional although the strip between the bathroom tile and the room rug was coming up and could be a tripping hazard. There is a small balcony, however, we couldn't sit out to enjoy our view since our room was right above the HVAC system and the noise was horribe. :-( Couldn't change rooms since they were full. We were very disappointed. We enjoyed a good dinner in the restaurant that evening with wonderful service from a young man named Ray. Breakfast the next morning was a totally different story. The buffet had eggs which tasted like they were make from powered eggs, the gravy was horrible (tasted canned) and to top it off....everything was cold. We couldn't even eat it....we paid and left. We've had much better HOT breakfasts at other Best Westerns which were free. We will never make that mistake again. Avoid the breakfast buffet.I can't believe that they charge for that. Otherewise, the hotel is nice enough...clean and a great view if you pay for the water view rooms. There is also ample parking.

Spent two nights at BW Silverdale Beach Hotel. Our room, #101, was a corner room that looked out onto the bay. Double doors opened up for us to step out onto a deck and relax watching the various wildlife. The room was very spacious with king bed and large flat screen TV. Also small refrigerator and microwave. We encountered no noise from rooms above or to the side of us.

Never disappointed with a stay at this Best Western. Great staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Always greet you whenever you pass the front desk. Great value, great room, nice views of the bay and most important, a hardy breakfast with a number of choices.

"Room Cleanliness"

16/07/2017

One of my towels had what appeared to be a blood stain that had been washed out. Once you notice blood on towels they should be discarded, not washed and re-used. Also noticed a pretty good amount of the previous guest's hair on the shower wall. After telling the front desk and being assured the issues would be resolved, I returned to my room to find it in pretty much the same condition. The hair was still on the shower wall. I notified the front desk again and was moved to another room. This was my first time staying with a Best Western property and I hate to judge the entire brand based on one property, but this was not a good first impression.

Loud music loud music loud music terrible loud music I will never stay at this hotel again. Otherwise everything was fine. I don't understand how a hotel can have music so loud to disrupt its occupants. The noise was throughout the entire hotel. I went out front and sat on the bench to try and escape the music but even there it could be heard. When I asked about the loud music I was told it would end at ten P.M. But at least they said I'm sorry.

It is always a pleasure to stay here. The staff is always great to deal with and the hotel is always impeccable. Never staying somewhere else when in town. I can't say enough about staying at the Silverdale BW, just do it.

"Clean, Comfortable, Hospitable and Beautiful View"

07/07/2017

I was very happy with the stay at the Best Western Beach Hotel. Especially for the price, the rooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable and the bay is gorgeous. We opened up the patio doors every night and sat out on the balcony watching the tide come in. The breakfast buffet was awesome and unlike continental breakfasts it was open until 11 in a cozy dining area with huge windows looking over the bay.The staff was very friendly and we felt very comfortable. I also was pleased to learn that a local live band plays on the outdoor patio on Fridays. We enjoyed the trip.

"Great location and Value"

06/07/2017

We travel a lot and for the location on the water and the amenities we found this to be such good value. The Hotel is so clean and the Staff is so nice. We would definitely come back and recommend to others.

"Beachfront!"

4
05/07/2017

We had a first-floor room facing the courtyard. Very nice view of the bay, and quite convenient since we were travelling with our dog. We could just open the patio door and walk out onto the grass, over to the lounge outdoor seating to have a glass of wine while watching kayaks on the bay, or down to the beach.

"Waterfront hotel at reasonable rates"

5
05/07/2017

This is a very clean room and very friendly staff, We always stay at this hotel because of the waterfront view. It is right on Puget Sound. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel does show a little age but is clean and reasonably priced. The beds are soft and not good for my bad back. I prefer a more firmer bed. Overall a very satisfying stay. I would rate it a 9 in a scale of 10.

"Perfect weekend family getaway"

03/07/2017

Placed in a beautiful spot on Puget Sound, this inn was a pleasant place to regain composure. The room was comfortable and well equipped with a view that was breathtaking. The restaurant had excellent service and great food although the menu was somewhat limited. There are many stores and eateries available within walking distance and the staff gave personal attention a new definition. I never felt like I was just a customer. Always a smile. I will plan another trip with the goal of staying here again

"Last Room!"

5
29/06/2017

Didn't know the place existed, but got a reference from a filled up hotel downtown. Rushed to get one of the remaining 3 rooms at this Hotel: got the last one! It was outfitted for disabled persons in the bathroom, which worked out just fine for two older folks. Very comfortable bed and ease of access and use.

"Pleasant stay at BW Silverdale"

4
28/06/2017

My family and I enjoyed our night stay at the BW Silverdale Beach Hotel. The room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. The king sized bed was comfortable, I used the WiFi service and we liked having a small fridge in the room to keep beverages cold. We particularly liked the water view and had a nice walk along the shoreline. They offer a nice breakfast buffet for a reasonable price and have a nice patio for sitting outside during the warm summer months. The hotel is centrally located and close to shopping and the Kitsap Mall.

"Lovely hotel"

4
28/06/2017

Stayed here one night, used BW points, but we were treated wonderfully by the staff (we didn't feel that we were "less" of a customer even though we used points). We were able to get early check in, staff very helpful and friendly. Room very clean, all the staff had smiles for you. Breakfast room was quite nice. Beautiful area, right on the water. Highly recommend if you stay in this area!

"great hotel, disappointed in type of room i received and lack of staff assistance to correct it!"

3
27/06/2017

I booked and paid for a water front room and upon check in i was placed in a room in front of the side parking lot, I called the front desk and was told that there was nothing else available, and received a "sorry", not any attempts to correct the situation, or not attempt at trying to compensate me, not even with a free breakfast or something. It was a great hotel other than that, but that definitely ruined my stay there.

"Clean, Great Staff, Great Outdoor bar, not so waterfront view"

4
26/06/2017

We booked/paid for a waterfront view room for 5 nights in June. This is where we always stay when visiting family because it's close to everything. The rooms were very clean, although the furniture was a little dated. But overall very clean and housekeeping did a very good job. The outdoor seating/bar area has a gorgeous and fantastic view. We ate mostly appetizers but the food was very good and drinks were priced fair. The staff was all very friendly and helpful-especially the folks working the front desk. I'm used to staying at Hilton Garden Inns and Courtyard Marriott's so compared to those the rooms were a little dated in some ways, but again very clean. We paid $109 during the week and price went up on weekends but overall it was very fair. Our only complaint was that we booked a waterfront room and we did not receive it. Our room overlooked a new parking lot and an inlet on the side of the the hotel that sometimes had water or mud depending on the tide. We were expecting an actual room that looked out over the water. When we checked in we only had a few minutes to get to a family event so we didn't ask to change. If you do book and pay for a waterfront room I would suggest calling them personally and making sure that is what you receive if you actually want to look at the water and scenery. Parking is super easy and other than some kids running in the hallways it was pretty quiet.

"Nice room, horrible breakfast"

4
21/06/2017

Whenever my wife and I need to stay in Silverdale we either choose this Best Western or the Oxford Suites. This time we selected the Best Western due to a $20.00 difference in price. I purchased the buffet breakfast since it was only $5.00 each. We requested a top floor room which we received and the view was actually very nice. This room was 361 and it was past the view of the ugly roof of the indoor pool. However, there were two large fans directly below our room that was so loud it was necessary to keep the sliding door closed even on a nice, sunny day. The rooms away from the pool area have very nice views but there is no way to guarantee you won't be looking at the roof of the indoor pool. The breakfast was crazy bad. The special of the day was French toast sticks. At least I think that was plan. There were 3 or 4 pieces of something that didn't look like food. The sign also said potatoes but there weren't any. The eggs were tasteless so I looked for some salsa to add some flavor but that was also missing. The biscuits actually looked pretty good so I grabbed one of those. However, the heated gravy bowl was empty. The orange juice looked like urine so I skipped that. The coffee tasted like burnt water so I added tons of sugar and cream and that didn't help. My wife and I waited at our table to see if someone would replenish all of the lacking items. This didn't happen so we left. During this time, none of the employees approached us. It is a buffet so there is no need for major interactions, but maybe a "Good morning, I see you purchased breakfast, please let me know if there is anything I can do" would have been nice. Bottom line, for $10.00 more we could have stayed at the Oxford Suites with a larger room, a better breakfast with a couple of drinks in the evening.

"Our Go-To for Pet-Friendly Accomodations"

5
19/06/2017

We've stayed at Best Western Plus's many times, especially when traveling with our mini-Schnauzer. We were visiting a friend who had just gotten a kidney transplant at Swedish Hospital and chose Silverdale because the reviews were good and the price was right. It was quite a ways from Seattle, but the views and wonderful breakfast buffet seem to make it worth it. We took the ferry from Seattle to Bremerton. The traffic jams much of the way from Vancouver, WA, to Seattle had us weary of cars. The cost was a little over $30 for three of us - our daughter was with us - and the peaceful, easy ride was worth the cost. The tide was out when we checked in, so the view from our room was mud with a smatter of buildings. It was also out when we checked out. We were in the pet-friendly room #118, and rooms on a different part of the property had a better water view. The trails for walking our dog were very nice and afforded a better view of the water. The room was nice. I especially liked the dispensers for soap, shampoo, etc. The room had enough space that it didn't feel cramped with two queen beds. We were really looking forward to a hearty breakfast before we checked out the next morning. The reviews for the buffet were very positive. The thing really driving our expectations was the fee. The vast majority of Best Westerns we'd stayed at had a good breakfast buffet as part of the fee. We were going to be charged an extra $5.45, so we expected something more than the regular fare. We were sadly mistaken. The buffet was good but was nothing more than we'd had before. The view from our table was amazing, though. I will say that we had a kind chef make us bacon, even though the slot labeled "bacon" was empty and none was offered. Our daughter has to eat a diet rich in high-fat foods, and she was really looking forward to having the bacon. My husband didn't even mention that, just asked where the bacon was. This kind gentleman offered to make us some, and he did. We don't regret eating at the hotel; just wish we'd known it was the regular fare, only at a price. We would probably not stay here again if we were visiting the Seattle area. For what the ferry cost, plus the extra for a standard BW buffet, we could have stayed closer for the same cost or less, and enjoyed our stay just as much. (We skipped the ferry and drove back, expecting Sunday morning traffic to be better. It would have been if not for the same two long stretches of construction and one accident. We also had a $6 toll.)

"Always stay at Best Western"

I have stayed at the Best Western Silverdale probably 15 times and it is always a great experience. Friendly staff, has lounge and restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel. I am a platinum Best Western rewards because I always stay when I can at a Best Western whether business or vacation.

"Great Place to Stay in Silverdale"

16/06/2017

I lived in Silverdale for 9 years and had to go back there for business on Bangor Submarine Base this week. I would normally stay on the base but ended up at the Best Western since there were no rooms available on base. I was very pleasantly surprised. Although it is an older hotel, the room was very well maintained, the bed was comfortable, and the view of Dyes Inlet refreshing. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast buffet had a great selection. There is also an airport shuttle that very conveniently stops at the hotel. There is also a restaurant and a small bar with a daily Happy Hour from 3:00-5:00.

"Nice water views"

16/06/2017

Stayed 2 nights while visiting the area. Lovely water views and also enjoyed the outdoor fire-pit. Helpful front desk service. Comfortable room, spacious bathroom, and nice balcony overlooking the courtyard and lake. Carpet in hallway and guest room could be improved by adding padding. Many restaurants and stores close by. Good value for the area and I would recommend this hotel to others.

A/C was broken during my stay. Hotel staff did give me a fan, but the room got very warm during the day. Bar closes early. Beautiful views. Breakfast food was OK. I ate dinner on night and it was good and reasonably priced. Lots of great choices for food close to the hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Unfortunately, we did have two of our three compressors go out and during our hottest part of the year so far. We have it back up and running with brand new compressors in them and they are now working like new! It is always disheartening when we aren't able to provide our guests with a stay that exceeds their expectations. Thank you again for taking time out of your day to let us know how we are doing!

"BAD HOUSE KEEPING PRACTISES"

29/05/2017

My room was left open ad unattended when I returned after leaving at 6:30 am where I secured the room. Housekeeping left the bolt out to keep the door open but never went back to clean and secure the room. The manager was notified and explained how sorry he was for the inconvenience nothing else was done.

28/05/2017

The room was nice. Suppose to have water view, we did along with the ugly roof. The pillows were very firm and uncomfortable to us, no other ones available. When we checked in we told them we wanted to pay with cash, however upon check-out they charged our card without asking.

"Significantly exceeded expectations."

Here with my wife and our pets for a visit to the area. The room was comfortable and had proper amenities for a value hotel. The martini bar was outstanding, the beach was a gem. The food at the bar was a great value at a good price. A band played Saturday night 7-10 and was really fun. They are going for beach resort ambiance. Came close!!

"Clean, friendly, Old and Costly"

3
14/05/2017

Over all the experience was good but if we had more time we would have stayed elsewhere. This was a last minute throw together trip for us. Everyone was friendly and the service was good, hotel was clean. The cost for the rooms is a bit steep for what you get. Ours was a regular queen no view that was upgraded to a king view because of our membership. The room was Really small... you had to stand over the toilet to get the bathroom door shut. There was a view of the water....and a LOT of roof. plus the big exhaust fan was right outside the window... so we heard that all night. Not horrible but not worth the money

"Great location"

08/05/2017

We reserved our room as a mid-adventure weekend stop-over wedged between explorations of Fort Flagler (Amazing!) and Fort Ward (Meh...). Our primary goal was to spend some time in a clean hot tub after hiking around all day. Our two 12 year olds were looking forward to the pool. The hotel is nice overall and the location is great. We had a top floor room with a great view. Rooms were comfortable. Our only frustration was the lack of enforcement of pool and spa rules. There were toddlers jumping in and out of the hot tub and pool well into the night. We even left the pool area for a while and came back later in the hopes the swim-pants set would have gone off to bed, but instead there were even more of them in the hot tub when we returned. Long story short: do put the Silverdale Beach Hotel on your short-list if you're planning a stay in this area, but maybe skip the pool and hot tub.

"My experience at Silverdale Best Western"

30/04/2017

I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past 2 years and both times it was an excellent experience. All the staff members were friendly, helpful, courteous and cordial. The breakfast was a great value, especially when thee bacon is crisp.

"Great location at the water's edge."

29/04/2017

The location of this hotel on the edge of the inlet is really great .The views really are magnificent. As for the Hotel itself I understand a refurbishment is being planned and perhaps a general lightening of the decor would be good.Rooms are well appointed quite spacious and very clean.Restaurant quite basic but offering good food at a sensible price.Would certainly revisit if back in the area again.

"Business trip"

27/04/2017

I stay here weekly. the staff is always very friendly. Rooms are nice and clean with a great view of the inlet. The lounge has good food and beer selection at a good price. This hotel has a good location and is a short walk to several chain and local restaurants and a safeway.

"Great place to stay in Silverdale"

5
24/04/2017

One of my favorite places to stay. However if you have flexibility in where you stay the nice hotel at the casino in poulsbo is fabulous and the rate at the casino hotel is less. It also sits on the water with beautiful views and a great restaurant

"Awesome hotel!!"

21/04/2017

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel and it was great both times! Very clean! Staff is very thorough and helpful, and rooms and amenities are great! Beautiful scenery and very comfortable beds! Definitely recommend!

"Wonderful Stay"

5
17/04/2017

Rooms were clean and service was excellent. Aftermath survey is a bit long, though. The amount of time spent at the hotel was small but after a 12 hour car ride with 4 kids, it was peaceful. Thank you!

"Waterfront view was spectacular and small-town, friendly service"

4
16/04/2017

My mom and I stayed in a regular waterfront room. It is a bit small but being able to open the door and be right on the water was spectacular. The parking, check-in and out was easy. Super friendly staff and complimentary cookies in afternoon, spa water and coffee/tea in lobby. Hotel amenities: Nice pool, patio seating with out door firepits, great martini bar and the $5 breakfast was really good! The room: A little tight, nice beds, decent pillows and linens, in-room coffee, fridge and microwave. Room recommendations: If it is busy in summer get the top floor and waterfront room. I think that being on the non-water side would have some small amount of street and parking lot noise. Very dog friendly - which is great.

14/04/2017

Hotel is in a great location. We stayed there 2 years ago and ended up in the same room. Unfortunately, the stains on the window seat bench looked the same as they did 2 years ago. But, corner room is nice. Great view. Fireplace. Cozy!

"Anniversary Weekend"

10/04/2017

Friendly and helpful staff, cozy room. Free breakfast was under-staffed. Breakfast was Ok for a low carb person, lots for those not watching carbs. We were over the bar so heard the band, but the music was good so we didn't mind

"Convenient Silverdale hotel"

5
09/04/2017

This hotel was close to everything in Silverdale. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and our room had a nice balcony with a bay view. There was a very nice indoor pool in a building with large windows and a bay view as well. The hotel is only about 15 minutes from the Bremerton ferry terminal.

"Gratitude"

5
09/04/2017

Most establishments cringe when they know a group of boys will be coming, not this one. I have been here three years straight and will continue to return. I recommend Silverdale Beach Hotel for any reason to travel.

"Worth The Drive"

5
09/04/2017

Although an hours drive from Seattle, it was worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. New firm mattresses! The views from our balcony were picturesque. Stores, restaurants, and the Kitsap Mall were blocks away. The hotel's rates can't be beat. For 5 bucks, there is a full service breakfast buffet which will get everyone out of bed early. Who could resist the paved foot path situated behind the site overlooking the beach? It's a place that has an unhurried atmosphere. We will be returning.

"Very pleasant and hospitable stay"

4
09/04/2017

Hotel stay was pleasant - hotel staff was courteous and happy to see me, even though I can be a trial. The amenities were nice and they were helpful throughout my stay. The hotel room was clean and maid service was very good. Free breakfast had a variety of offerings, and on Friday night, they brought in a Live band that was very good.

"Great staff, great view!"

5
28/11/2016

We stayed there nights and we had a very pleasant experience! The room was clean with a beautiful view. We wanted to relax after a stressful year and we were able to do so. The only thing was the breakfast that was not the highlight of our say, if you are not vegetarian and gluten-free, and you can eat regular food then you can definitely fill your stomach.

"Great hotel"

4
27/11/2016

LOVE the bed. Really want to know the brand and model. We have kids who live nearby; we will stay again! And the doggie was welcomed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of services nearby. We had a water view, but it was dark our entire stay. Pool access is strange, but nice facility. Wish the hot tub was a bit warmer. Again, lovely spot to return to with great online deals. And we will.

"Overall A Great Value"

4
22/11/2016

Great location, ample parking, lovely lobby, nice staff. Was first put in a lesser room than my reservation, but they were gracious in relocating us when I called. Fantastic view. Nice walking path for hotel. Better pool than you would normally expect. Bathroom was tiny. Heater was noisy. Room was small (with king Size Bed). Breakfast cost $5 per person but was well work it, twice as good as you what you would get for free with a lovely view and lots of seating. For the price I would return.

"Quality stay"

5
21/11/2016

We have stayed at many Best Westerns and this is by far one of my favorite. We have stayed at this facility twice and both times we enjoyed our stay. Our room came with complimentary breakfast and it wasn't just a contenential breakfast. It was buffet style with great choices. The tables overlooked the Puget Sound. Very enjoyable.

"No parking in the lot... had to park on street..."

3
20/11/2016

Restaurant service was very very slow... had to ask several times to wash table...no forks... had a long wait for food...very disappointed .but bedding was great but bed was really high... toilet was very small..in the handicap room...will stay there again but not eat there.

"Weekend archery trip"

3
18/11/2016

Just wish the breakfast was included in the price, that would have made it worth the money The grounds where well kept, the decor was nice, the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice, but a lot of chlorine.

"Weekend getaway"

4
18/11/2016

Enjoyable weekend at this hotel. Right on the water. Great friendly staff. Enjoyed a brisk walk along the seawall fronting the hotel.. Negatives-not very soundproof, noisy with guests on next floor above us. Also with 2 queen beds, there was no room for some casual chairs.

"overnight first time at Silverdale"

4
16/11/2016

If you're looking for the Paris Hilton, this isn't it. However, if you're looking for outstanding value at a very serene waterfront property in a really nice little community at the head of an inlet, this might be for you. Very good value with great staff and a comfortable room.

"Good Hotel with a nice pool!"

4
15/11/2016

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. City view means parking lot view but you get what you pay for. Breakfast was very good and the location is good. The parking lot is very large and seems secure.

"Clean & Nice Hotel!"

5
12/11/2016

We stayed here for two nights in November. We would to relax during our stay. The water view room was very nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. Also, the staff were very friendly. During our checking, the accommodated all our request. They changed our room to be close to our friends' room and even upgraded our room without extra charge. We will come back again!

"Silverdales Best"

5
12/11/2016

Great place to stay. Inviting entrance, staff is always smiling, helpful. The views on the balcony rooms were amazingly beautiful. The lounge is outstanding and bartenders know how to mix any drink. And the beer is cold. And the breakfast buffet and staff were absolutly perfect.

"Good but not ....."

09/11/2016

We have stayed here in the past. Always liked the BW here. Our room 335 had a great view, but did have a few issues. First, it is about 3/4th the size of most rooms. Just seemed too small. Second, the heat went to 80 degrees in the middle of the night and the drapes on the window seemed to have some mildew or mold on them. I do have some pictures of that. The staff were quite nice, the breakfast, around 8 bucks was some eggs with cheese on top, some tired bacon and sausage and the usual stuff that is free elsewhere. After looking at the line, we decided to go either to the IHOP or Sherri's directly across the street. There were only three other people having breakfast in this very large dining area. There may be a reason for that. Like this place and the setting is good, but we were disappointed in our stay. The View was Great, and we will probably return, but it just was not what we expected. They need to work on some improvements perhaps.

"Beautiful Property!"

4
08/11/2016

As first time guests to this Best Western, we will never say anywhere else when in the area! The location is both convenient to shopping and restaurants, and beautiful, as it is located right on the water. The feel is upscale and tasteful. Rooms are standard for this chain, with tiny balconies. As a swimmer, I always review the pool of each motel we visit, and this was one of the best. The pool house was very nice, with vaulted ceilings and a large wall of windows looking right out onto the water not far away. The water was WARM, which earns this property many brownie points in my book! And as a big bonus- the hot tub was not so hot that one was forced out after a few minutes to avoid cooking clear through! The only negative about this pools was its' access- very odd.You must take the elevator down to the basement, then walk UP a flight of stairs to reach the pool house. It is actually located on the main level of the motel, but cannot be reached by means of walking in from the outside, so you must do this little down-up dance including traversing a very long hall, and cross a large room that looks like a ballet studio, in order to finally arrive. They do have a lift chair for handicap access. The coin laundry is also located in this basement area. So, difficult pool access is a quirk of this property. We always try to stay in a motel that offers a complimentary breakfast, however, this one does not. They do serve a breakfast buffet for about $8pp, in a nice room overlooking the water. An unusual feature of this property is its' large outdoor area out back, with green lawns, the water, a large patio and benches. It could be a good area for the little ones to run off some energy from that long car ride. The property is lovely and comfortable, with knowledgeable, helpful staff. I highly recommend!

"Inviting daily breakfast buffet open to the public"

3
08/11/2016

Most hotels offer a complimentary breakfast buffet to their guests. This one recently opened it to the public as well, for a very reasonable fee. The food was very good for the price. The hours are from 6 to 10 AM daily. Each day, they add one special item. This time it appeared to be chorizo and scrambled eggs with fried tortilla chips. You can also sit beside wall to wall windows with a view of the Puget Sound. Complimentary beverages too.

"Great views!"

4
03/11/2016

Great view and clean rooms. Bed was really comfortable. Husband enjoyed the balcony and shower head was perfect!. No small spray of water but a good full spray. Breakfast was wonderful. Pool was perfect for us. Staff was really friendly. Would stay here again!

"Perfect water setting"

5
02/11/2016

Wanting to visit Seattle, we decided to stay 'close' instead, settling on Silverdale after seeing photos of the BW. Got a junior suite (upgraded) with water view. Perfect amenities, hospitable lounge, friendly front desk staff at all occasions, greatest breakfast buffet, again with personable staff. Lobby with newspapers, fireplace. Restaurants, shopping nearby, AND a pleasant, long waterfront walk.

"Don't even consider this one"

30/10/2016

This was the 40th Best Western that I have visited this calendar year and am saddened to say it was the worst experience this year. I have seldom encountered a hotel of this supposed quality to be so bad. It started with the reception when I checked. I never felt welcomed nor considered to be a valued customer. Both receptionists were involved in personal conversation with guests(?) and failed to notice that I was waiting. After being registered, no information was given to me except a yellow card with the WiFi information. I was not informed of any hotel features nor was I informed of breakfast. I found the room very small and the bathroom ridiculously small and this was supposed to be a deluxe king. Then there was no soap in the receptacles at the sink nor in the shower. There also was no shampoo. The lotion and conditioner containers were filled. There was no soap bar by the sink although there was a soap dish. When we wanted to put our laundry in a bag we found no bag in the closet nor in any of the drawers. On a minor note, the was no listing of the TV channels available. Positively, there were ample plug ins available for electronics and the room was very clean. At check out, when I mentioned the problems, both expressed concern. Not having been told about breakfast (my fault for not reading ahead) was disappointing as $7.95 would be a bit much for coffee and toast.

Outstanding in so many ways. Great staff, perfect location, lots to do (walk the beach, outdoor beachfront bonfire, beautiful pool, bike the immense trails, all types of food close by and available at all hours), comfortable and accommodating. Will definitely go again.

"Nice Hotel , Nice people ,Great setting."

28/10/2016

I was trying to book a hotel near Seattle at a reasonable price and luckily ended up in the Best Western Silverdale . It's a very comfortable hotel in a truly lovely setting on the edge of a lake about 12 miles and a ferry ride from Seattle. If you dont want the ferry its around 25 miles. The dining room and bar are a bit basic and touristy but ok for breakfast or a quick drink in the evening. Luckily the hotel is surrounded by good restaurants all within an easy stroll from the hotel. The room was excellent , very comfortable and quiet ensuring a good nights sleep. Compared to City centre hotels the prices were very reasonable. I had a very enjoyable stay.

"Great"

5
28/10/2016

We stayed here for one night. The reception staff were great and were able to accommodate all our requests. The reception area was clean well decorated and maintained. The public areas were clean and well maintained. Our room was spotless. The bed was lump free and the sheets were white and crease free. The pillows smelt fresh. The room had plenty of space to move about and the scenic view was breath taking. The hotel was busy but there was an air of calm and quiet. i would stay here again.

"Nice hotel, great fireplace in lobby, snacks at checkin counter, great view from room & pool"

5
28/10/2016

Friendly, helpful staff Great lobby with fireplaces Free snacks (cookies, scones) at check in desk Bar right in hotel Well-priced breakfast buffet ($5 for hotel guests) Ample parking Great view over the water, nice walking areas Pet friendly

"Excellent Service"

25/10/2016

This was our second stay here! After the wonderful time we had for my boyfriend a month ago I didn't hesitate to pick this place for my birthday getaway. The views can not be beat! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful they go the extra mile to make sure your stay if the absolute best it can be. Jose and Cheyenne are the greatest. They go beyond the regular duties and make you feel like old friends. However there are some rooms with tiny bathrooms. And our housekeeping wasn't as good this visit. The lounge was enjoyable and for snacks the food as ok. We didn't do breakfast this trip since the last visit it wasn't kept stocked and they don't let you take it back to your room ,which is our preference. Our next trip we may bring the kids.definitely will be back!!

"Check your door batteries"

3
25/10/2016

Great view. Front desk staff is friendly and professional. Restaurant staff is disorganized during the morning breakfast, kept asking us if we had a voucher. Overall the food was ok, good selection (cereal, eggs, sausage, bread, variety of juices and milk, pastries that need to be thrown out, and a waffle maker with several choices of batter. Batteries in our room door died, so the maintenance guy climbed through the balcony of an adjacent room to unlock and repair. That room was occupied by other people and it seems bizarre to me that staff has no other way to enter a room besides climbing from one balcony to another. Our key stopped working 3 times during our 1 night stay. On Sundays they have church service in one of the rooms in the lobby for ALL to hear. Seemed a bit strange to me. I travel alot and I dont think I've ever seeing that before. Overall the hotel is clean and the view is great.

"Great breakfast and value"

5
22/10/2016

Clean, comfy bed, quiet, very nice staff. Do get the breakfast voucher for $5, really worth it if you are a breakfast person. They do check your voucher frequently so patience is a must. Again, the staff is very professional. Easy to find, excellent value, and convenient to the freeway. Will definitely recommend staying here and we will be back.

"Wind Storm Stay"

5
22/10/2016

Beautiful hotel. Had a king corner suite and enjoyed watching the storm. Bar, breakfast, and pool were wonderful. Air system was only problem as it blew directly on the bed. Very convenient to walking to many places and Clear Creek Trail.

"GREAT Hotel!!!"

4
20/10/2016

Definitely stay here!!! Amazing view and excellent breakfast!! The hotel is at a great location right next to the water. Very clean and roomy in which you will enjoy your stay. This is not your average Best Western!!!

"My Go to hotel"

4
17/10/2016

Great hotel! The location is perfect, facing the Puget Sound. Friendly people to check In their guests. I like that for $5.00 you can get a descent breakfast. There is a Starbucks across the road as well as numerous restaurants. When visiting family on the Kitsap Pennisula we will always stay at this Best Western.

"Decent Hotel"

3
17/10/2016

Clean and very friendly staff. A lot of random mis-matched random furniture and wall art throughout hotel, but rooms were pretty consistent and modern. Very friendly staff at breakfast and FD staff was always pleasant. Big parking lot and a nice waterfront hotel

"What a great find"

5
14/10/2016

The staff are warm and welcoming. The lobby has flavored water and coffee all day, nice touch. The beach front property is amazing. The breakfast is hearty and there are many choices. I will be returning for another quick get away.

"Excellent service, accommodations and food!"

5
12/10/2016

We stayed here on our wedding night a few years ago, and came back for our anniversary. It did not disappoint! We were joined in the pool area by another couple on their anniversary. The place to be! Food was outstanding, room impeccably clean, and the staff friendly, helpful - even in the midst of a loud crowd in the lobby!

"Comfy"

5
12/10/2016

I prefer smaller towns, but needed to be here. The room was very comfy, especially the bed. I had a sort of water view which was nothing spectacular. Everything that I used worked well, room was clean and well appointed. The need coffee pots in the room that make 4 cups at once tho, 1 cup at a time won't even fill my own mug let alone my friends, so just went down to the lobby to get coffee.

"quick trip"

5
10/10/2016

Will be back! Friendly Staff, great rooms and oh did I forget to mention the warm cookies served at the front desk... yum!!! They had a fun band in the lounge which was done playing at a decent hour, great way to cap off the night!

"A PLUS that is all bad."

1
09/10/2016

Stayed one night of a two night reservation. Had a king bed room, balcony water view. The room was tiny, and worn out. The desk was small, and scarred from old cigarette burns. Carpets were lifting at seams. Bathroom was 6ft X 6ft. One side had the tub full length. The other side had the sink vanity full length. Between those two was the toilet. The door opened inwards. To close the door you had to straddle the toilet. The heat didn't work. Set to 72 degrees the temperature dropped to 67 with the heat on. It would do nothing except blow cool air. I finally just turned it off and wore a jacket. The wifi internet was so slow it was almost useless. 3.5 mbps up and down. The deck was tiny, there were no chairs to sit outside. TV was a 32 inch. I have a computer monitor screen that size. Room was noisy, you could hear the people next door talking. A band played in the bar. I could dance along all night, it was as if I was right there with them. Soaps/shampoo were the bulk style dispensers mounted on the wall. Cheap stuff, even cheaper when they are empty like these were. One bath towel, two hand towels, and a washcloth. Not good enough for two people. Had a toss and turn sleep on an uncomfortable bed, and left at 700am...never to return.

"it's worth it"

4
04/10/2016

the view alone is awesome!!! The hotel itself is also very good. There were cookies upon arrival, cupcakes as we were leaving. Fresh coffee was available 24/7. The staff was great. Oh, and the best night sleep I had on our entire trip!!!

"Great value and beautiful view"

5
03/10/2016

Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. I needed a late check out and was a little past the noon check out time that they give you without an extra charge. They were understanding and didn't charge me extra. The views of the ocean from the room were amazing to wake up to everyday. Definitely will stay here again when I'm back in the area.

"Great Location"

4
30/09/2016

Great view of the water. Hotel is walking distance to lots of stores, restaurants and other amenities. There's a public walking/jogging path out the front door that follows the water. The room was starting to show it's age but it was clean, everything worked and the bed was very comfortable. For the money this Best Western is a very good value.

"a great spot to rest and relax"

5
28/09/2016

I was going to enter the dog show and forgot - but I went anyway because I had a room at this Best Western. Figured I could come see all my friends and all the dogs then go have some "me" time. What a great idea that was. I was pampered by this hotel from check in to check out. The room was wonderful - the partial view was perfect and the sleep I got was so desperately needed! I am disabled and they did not make me feel like a burden - always reaching out to help me. The martini bar had a nice band playing on Saturday night and my drink was perfect. I slept like a rock, enjoyed the "me" time and felt so wonderful I wish I could have stayed another night. I will come back to this lovely gracious hotel.

"Great stay"

4
28/09/2016

Our room and balcony were large and the view of the water was wonderful. The hotel is right on the water. The room was lovely and our stay was great. The noise from the hallway and other rooms was quite noticeable but we use a sound machine at night so it wasn't a problem when we were sleeping.

"Lovely venue, huge room, happy customer"

4
28/09/2016

Stayed here at the end of August as a friend was getting married nearby. The rooms were inexpensive, lovely and huge! There is a retail park nearby filled with shops and the mall is about 5-10 mins drive tops so in terms of facilities the location is perfect. The hotel breakfast which really could be improved, scrambled eggs with heaps of nacho style cheese on don't really appeal to the international customer, neither do the frankfurter style sausages however, at $5pp for pre-booking I shouldn't really complain. The only downside is really the advertisement of free bikes is a little misleading, as they are quite dated and there are only two of them so don't expect a family bike ride in the nearby trail. Finally a little tip, even though the sea is out, walking across the mud flats is not recommended. You'll quickly end up to your knees in mud!!

"Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel"

5
28/09/2016

My family and I stayed 1 night at this hotel for my sister's wedding. The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly, and the view was awesome! We also appreciated the affordable pricing! The Admiral Room was also a beautiful venue for my sister's wedding...I was very impressed!

"Siverdale getaway"

4
24/09/2016

We were planning a trip to Bainbridge Island, as it turned out, there were no vacancies for the dates we were looking for. We ended up booking in Silverdale instead, we were very happy with the Bestwestern Plus hotel. We would definitely book there again, it was a great place to stay at a reasonable price.

"Very near military and outlets"

5
23/09/2016

The staff was extremely helpful and the food excellent, Minor issues with the air conditioning was handled quickly by the maintenance man who ensured my room would remain at room temperature. Air conditioning was too cold, but it was a hot period of days--abnormal for Seattle. Rooms and beds great. I was NOT sleepless in Seattle. Met lots of nice folks as well in a wonderful lobby with a fire in the evening.

"Great location, great view"

4
23/09/2016

Both the view and location were great. Easy access to what I needed and a beautiful view of the water. Take time to enjoy breakfast while you are there. Don't forget to spend time in their outdoor area. Very relaxing.

"Disappointed"

2
19/09/2016

When we called to book the room, we were offered water side of the hotel. When we arrive and got our keys, little did we know we would be the farthest room from the only one bank of elevators, but be put in a room on the parking lot side.

"Excellent Value!"

5
19/09/2016

Great hotel. Great staff. Excellent value!!! Wedding guests all stayed here and had a wonderful stay. Staff was pleasant. Room was great. Location was beautiful and had zero issues. I was very impressed with the experience.

"VERY RELXING PROPERTY ON THE OCEAN"

5
14/09/2016

This hotel is situated on the ocean in a quiet bay. Surrounded by trees you are very protected from wind. When build this was all taken into account and laid out nicely, and well landscaped and manicured. From the hotel property you can walk 10 minutes into town, or step onto the nice beach. Nice pool facilities, and nice quiet lounge and restaurant. Wonderful place for a few days of relaxing. The service from the minute we arrived, until the moment we left was excellent. The lounge and restaurant service was better than most. This went along with the good bar list, and the good food menu. Also, shopping is right there, as are many other eating and drink establishments.

"Silverdale Beach Hotel - great view"

4
13/09/2016

Great View and Wonderful Staff. I actually left a personal item on the night stand. I called the front desk as soon as I realized my mistake and the Hotel held my item until I could pick it up. The hotel is a it older and I miss the ala carte breakfast menu, but there are a great many near-by options if guests do not want to buy the Breakfast Buffet

"Don't go into the lounge"

3
12/09/2016

The hotel security are untrained to deal with people. They will take an innocent situation and blow it up to the point where you will be escorted from the hotel and not allowed to stay. the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. But stay away from the night security people. They will ruin your stay

"Stay in Silverdale, Washington"

5
12/09/2016

Everything was excellent. The view from the deck was exceptional. The room was kept clean and the beds were very comfortable. Everyone was courteous. The free breakfast was good, although the eggs were dry.

12/09/2016

Sorry to say this did not meet our excellent rating of other Best Westerns.Pool & spa was in need of maintenance. Noise from kids in hallways and slamming doors. Breakfast $5 each- Food was good but no one to seat us so our table was taken by someone else.

"BEAUTIFUL hotel"

5
08/09/2016

The pictures of this hotel don't do it justice. We had a room on the first floor with double french doors that opened up onto the patio, green grass and view of the Puget Sound. There are many classy touches to this hotel including the lobby area, tea and coffee station, outdoor fire pit, tables and chairs outside for breakfast or visiting and walkway. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast cost $5 each but it is worth every penny. Thank you for making one of the last nights of our vacation a special one.

"Great view and Great Stay"

5
06/09/2016

You can't beat the value of this hotel for location, view, amenities, cleanliness, service, and support. The bar coupon and breakfast are exceptional. I did not try the pool or spa, but the gym was good. The treadmill needs an upgrade, but there are great trails for running.

"Beautiful view and wonderful service"

5
06/09/2016

Really enjoyed my one night stay, staff in the lounge were very engaging and great conversation! Follow google maps on your phone, not online driving directions. The bed was a little harder than I like but otherwise it was a great stay. Breakfast buffet was well worth it, the hashbrowns are delicious.

"great location nice place"

5
04/09/2016

Buy the buffet breakfast voucher for $5 good breakfast. Retail and eating options abound in this area. The hotel is really on a point where you can observe the tides go in and out. Nice outdoor area to sit and enjoy your surroundings It is right on the water

"Great Place to Visit and very affordable."

Other than some confusion on how to access the pool area, I was very pleased with everything the staff and hotel offered. The location is great and maybe in the future there would be a shuttle to the Ferry over in Bainbridge Island to Seattle. Local restaurants were very good also. I will definitely return and use this same hotel.

"It Was Recommended"

The Best Western Silverdale was one of two recommended by a friend in Silverdale. It was a decent accommodation but by no means luxurious. Staff was friendly but were not good at following up on issues. Specifically, I arrived early and was waiting for a room to open up - they promised to call me but did not and when I inquired later on my own they had a room for me. They also were not able to pull up my Best Western club membership info and were going to work on that and contact me - they never did. I had a top floor room so did not experience any noise issues. The room was comfortable and clean - I had a lake view which was nice. Breakfast and a free evening beverage were included. The breakfast was definitely adequate (I did the buffet) and the drink was a nice touch. There is self-service laundry and a small gym; the equipment in the gym is in need of service. Considering the limited lodging options here this is probably a decent choice but it is a notch below what I am used to in larger cities.

"Preggy Nice!"

I stayed at this hotel for four nights with my husband. I thought the hotel was very well taken care of and clean. The staff are really great and did their best to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Their is a martini bar (9-12$) and a restaurant that's nice, but pricey. They do serve breakfast, all-you-can-eat style, but it's not free. My husband got his for free since he was there on business, but it was 5 bucks for me. Overall, I would say this a definitely a place I would go again if I was in the area.

"If I had another choice..."

I stayed at this hotel for work and was there about 2 weeks. I am from this area and had been at the hotel for numerous occasions over the years. I will admit that this was not my first choice for accommodations. First the positive- the front desk staff is great. They were always friendly and helpful. I don't think they could do better with the people they have there. The free wifi was faster and better than I was expecting. I had no problem streaming movies. Now the lots of negative- This place is old! The walls and ceiling are thin. The door in the bathroom was peeling. The room was just incredibly dated. The doors shut incredibly loudly. I could hear them anytime anyone in the hall left their room. Actually anytime anyone walked down the hall I could hear it. My neighbor above was up at 4:30 every morning. I know this because I could hear his feet hit the ground as soon as he rolled out of bed and it continued until either he or I left for the day. I won't even start on the neighbor's TV. The live entertainment Thursday thru Saturday is probably great if you are not staying there, but if your room faces the center area you will hear the music as if you are standing next to the stage. I was there for work and not a party so this was not pleasant. I even left my room one night so I could get rid of the headache I acquired from the banging drums (I wish I was exaggerating). Like I said, great if you are there to party. The music does stop by 10PM but whoever decides to linger and continue loudly doing whatever they want doesn't. Breakfast was included as part of my package. The positive- the food on the buffet was actually pretty good. The eggs weren't runny and the quality of everything else was pretty standard for a hotel. The negative- The buffet is very repetitive. Nothing much changes from day to day. If you want anything but the buffet you had better have some time on your hands. Although the service is friendly it is slow, like visiting the Caribbean islands on vacation slow. Overall if you stay here and don't want constant noise skip the water view and get one of the top floor rooms. It may be a bit quieter. If you want to stay somewhere nice, like a previous reviewer mentioned, stay at the other hotel nearby. It is a completely different experience.

"Great Staff"

4
01/09/2016

Really enjoyed my stay. The staff was always friendly and attentive. You can't beat the breakfast included in the room charge (optional). The martini bar wasn't cheap, at the same time it wasn't expensive. Centrally located with a wide variety of restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful view because you are located a stones throw away from the water. Would definitely stay there again should the circumstances arise.

"I have to say I never stayed there as I live not too far from there."

But weekends they are fun to go to as they host waterfront bands and have a great outdoor and indoor venue from which you can enjoy the revelry. Good bar with nosh items too. And a dance space right in front of the band. Can also view from poolside or inlet side ...beautiful light by setting sun or starlight over the water.

"Great Family Stay"

30/08/2016

Great place for families - courtyard grass, beach, walks, bikes, firepit, indoor pool overlooking bay and great, affordable buffet breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lobby is very nice. There is even church available.

"Good job!"

29/08/2016

View from the hotel is incredible, staff is friendly, hot tub is perfect, pool is the best! Breakfast is marginal.... IHOP is across the street so you can get pancakes. Live entertainment was so very good!!

"View But At A Cost"

1
29/08/2016

Rude staff. Dingy old rooms, definitely needs updating. No shuttle service in town, only to airport. Says best breakfast in town but at the cost of $7.95, you can stay next door and get a better one for free plus cocktails at night.

"Our 50th Wedding Anniversary"

5
28/08/2016

We came to the hotel on this trip to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed our meals both in the restaurant and at the breakfast buffet. We took in the Kitsap County Fair which was close by and also spent time in Poulsbo. Our family came up and joined us and we all enjoyed our time in Kitsap County.

"You need to stay there!"

5
26/08/2016

We were looking for a little getaway for a few days and found this hotel. A short ferry ride and drive from Seattle is Silverdale. The hotel is right on the bay and every balcony has a water view. A buffet breakfast in the morning started the day, and a glass of wine at the seaside patio ended it perfectly! There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. If you need a Starbucks in the morning, it is right across the street. We will definitely be back!

"Great place to stop between Portland and Port Angeles"

4
25/08/2016

My wife and I spent the night here on a drive up to Port Angeles to take the ferry to Victoria. Beautiful setting at northern point of Dyes Inlet. Walking trail around inlet with access to wooded trail along Clear Creek is an added bonus. Rooms are clean and quiet. Staff courteous and efficient. Easy walk to nearby restaurants. Restaurant and lounge with happy hour on premises.

"Amazing People and Amazing Place"

23/08/2016

The staff here were super friendly, always able to answer my questions. Very kind and understanding when I locked my self out of my room. Honestly one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel. They even were able to work with my group and me about setting up a small place for us to play games and nerd out for a bit. Super fantastic group of people there.

very nice hotel all around, the view of the beach was wonderful, the staff was very nice, and took care of any problems we had, there was a couple of things that they could work on, but I was very pleased with the whole experience, the breakfast was good, but not a whole lot of food to choose from

"Excellent Hotel"

23/08/2016

Everyone who worked at the hotel, no matter what capacity, was courteous, kind, and answered any questions I had. The breakfasts served in the hotel were very tasty. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall, this hotel leads the industry on excellent!

"Great customer service"

5
23/08/2016

From check in through check out, the employees were kind and professional. Nice to be greeted with a smile. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, not just the plain old cereal and toast. Good quality hot food... nice way to start my day.

"Unexpected fun!"

4
22/08/2016

After a last minute booking for a quick get away this stay turned out to be more than what we expected. While the hotel does need some updating as others have mentioned we spent our time enjoying the live music and fire pit during our overnight stay. The food was decent for the price & we had great service the whole time we were there. The BEST part was the outdoor entertaining space with the live music! It was a special evening and perfect get away. I was disappointed that our room with a view was overlooking a roof but honestly we spent very little time in the room so it wasn't a big deal.

"RELAXING"

"Not Impressed"

3
21/08/2016

I was not impressed with this hotel during my stay last week (4 nights). I'd like to leave this hotel a good review - well - nah - really I wouldn't. There were just too many issues during my stay... To be fair - there were both good and bad things about this hotel so I'll outline both. Let's start with the positives - 1-The location is excellent - it is nearby to a ton of shopping and food in Silverdale so you can pretty much walk to anything you need once you have arrived. It is also close to the Navy bases in the area both Kitsap and Key port. 2-There are beautiful water views from many of the hotel rooms and a nice outdoor patio area area that was heavenly during our stay in mid-August. 3-The breakfast buffet is actually pretty fantastic. It is stocked with healthy and non-healthy items for whatever you are looking for and has a lot of options for only $5 you can't beat it. 4-While some of the front desk staff were a bit testy at times - most of the gals working behind the counter were very friendly and tried to correct any issues we had as soon as they were aware of them. 5-Plenty of parking is available in front of the hotel so parking was never an issue. The negatives - 1-My room was the "nicest" suite in the hotel - it was a large spacious room with a king bed, fireplace, water view, and seating area with a couch. The problem was it is directly across from the elevator on each of the three floors, and has the ice machine/snack room on the same wall as the bed. Who does that? That is a terrible layout for the nicest suite you have.... we asked to be moved it was LOUD in the 5 minutes we were there. 2-We were moved to a queen room down the hall - SMALL bathroom and parking lot view but it was quiet at least. 3-On day 2 of 4 we were moved to a larger water view king room - much nicer than room #2 but the AC didn't work. We were given a fan for the room and told the AC is old and needs repair. It worked fine in our second room for first two nights.... 4-Updates - the hotel in general looks a bit worn down and in need of a major renovation - paint, updates to fixtures, small things that could add up. Staff were hit or miss - the gal who checked me in the first night was friendly in a clipped manner but as soon as I indicated a need for another room she went frigid. I was polite with her but explained I wouldn't be able to sleep with all the noise in that room. She is also the gal we spoke to two days later about the AC and she seemed to take it personally and got defensive - which was weird. I imagine people complain a lot and after a while you are tired of hearing it. But the management/owners need to invest in updates and modernization here as a problem solver. I was really excited about the room and check-in during this trip as I thought I had found a real gem - but I was very disappointed as the rooms did not match up to the website which does an excellent job at showing the rooms, lobby and rest of the hotel in a great light. The third and final room we stayed in was nice and I would've been perfectly happy with it overall except for the AC not working.

"1950's era hotel"

21/08/2016

Old style property with need for serious upgrades. This property is lacking in most customer amenitites which are predominate with other property chain hotels. Needs to be better managed and upgraded to current standards.

"Great location and room quality"

4
20/08/2016

Room was clean and nice, near the water and King bed was nice. Air Conditioning was not functioning properly hotel-wide (front desk rep said something about a bad compressor), so they moved us to a ground floor room to make it slightly cooler, but it still took until 11 PM for the room to cool enough down to sleep. Dinner restaurant menu was NOT like the menu the hotel has on their website, which was disappointing, they really need to update that.

20/08/2016

Best hotel in the area! Once again...VERY pleased and happy! Staff was professional and very friendly/accommodating. 3 family's stayed at the hotel for a local wedding...hoping another wedding will be in our near future, so we can all come back!

"Nice hotel"

16/08/2016

Good hotel , but small rooms. The location was convenient for us, and the hotel had a good breakfast. We enjoyed the patio bar (which has bar food) and the entertainment.(country) Not a bad price for the stay with a nice view of the bay. Walking path that goes for 12 miles. Bikes are available and you are close to town. Lots of places to eat near by. All-in-all, a good experience.

"Very Welcoming"

We decided to visit the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state. This hotel is in a lovely setting with a view of the water. Staff members were great...from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was a fantastic buffet.

"Small Rooms & Mediocre Water View"

3
11/08/2016

I went here for a quick getaway with my husband and son. I chose this hotel based on the hotel photos of the water view and the nice pool area. I should have looked at reviewer photos as well. As we drove up we could see that the hotel looked dated. The lobby interior was nice however, as was the patio area outside, complete with two bicycles for guest use. The tide was out until mid-evening, so the full water view was not worth paying extra for. We saw mostly rocky beach with a little bit of mucky water and the same thing in the morning. The room was tiny, though the bathroom area was larger than some Best Westerns. We had a room with two queens. There was no seating on the balcony, so we moved the extra chair from inside to the balcony since there was no space for it in the room anyway. The pool and hot tub were nice, however the showers were located down the stairs and across the basement, which was very inconvenient. I can't imagine that many people actually shower before they get in the pool. I am used to breakfast being an amenity at Best Western Plus properties, but it is not the case here. If you want breakfast, you'll have to pay $7 a person for the buffet, or $5 if you pre-pay the night before. It's not a lot, but still not something I'm not used to paying extra for. We chose to skip the breakfast buffet. Overall, the $144 we wound up paying seemed like a lot, given the location and lack of free breakfast. I have no complaints about the front desk service.

"Confusion & Noise!"

2
08/08/2016

Confused front desk staff! Took 45 minutes to get into our rooms after they asked us to wait over 3 hours for cleaned rooms! Very noise bar with drunks that kept us up all night. They are better hotels in this area to choose from!

"Highly Recommend"

08/08/2016

Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel is the best hotel! My family has had the pleasure of staying her many many times often referring our sports teams as well. If you are in this area, make sure to stay at this awesome hotel. Friendly staff and beautiful surroundings!

"very nice view"

4
08/08/2016

This was a very nice hotel. the king room was a little small but the view and being right on the water was very nice. The music on the weekends was close to our room and loud but it only went to 10 pm so that was ok.

"Near perfect stay"

5
07/08/2016

Excellent stay at waterfront hotel with a reasonable price. Adjacent park is a good place for a walk. Fitness center has view of inlet. Only complaint was maids rapping on door twice in spite of quiet sign on door.

"Beyond my expectations!"

5
03/08/2016

The staff, all of the staff went above and beyond my expectations! They were courteous, kind, and generous. My children tried very hard to make it a difficult trip. Time and time again the staff went out of their way to change that direction. The views from the room were gorgeous!

"Good value"

3
01/08/2016

Solid stay for mid-priced hotel. Pros: Rooms pleasant and clean, breakfast slightly better than similar hotels, friendly staff, reliable wifi signal. Cons: Hear doors, showers, etc. from nearby rooms, especially from above. Not a reason to stay or not but hallways are very odd, must have had water damage and re-carpeted but didn't replace warped underlayment.

"5/10 - Don't ever plan on staying again"

2
31/07/2016

This place is good, as long as you don't actually plan on getting a good nights sleep... Pros: - Booking was a breeze. So was changing my room type and request an early check-in. - The front desk staff were some of the best I've encountered. They always answered my calls and my questions with warm greetings. When I requested an early check-in, they were able to accommodate me and my room was ready three hours earlier than check-in time. - The accommodations were decent. The pool and hot tub were nice. The restaurant had decent food, live music, chatty patrons that were friendly, and the staff was attentive and lively. - The location is smack dab in the middle of anything you need. - The room were clean and at a comfortable temperature upon arrival. No funky smells. I recommend getting a room with a balcony because the view in the morning looking out at the bay is nice to wake up to. - Breakfast buffet is cheap and offers a lot of options for food. Cons - I came during Whaling Days and the hotel was open for people to come watch the fireworks. However, the parking lot was open to non-guests of the hotel. Parking for hotel guests was scarce the evening of the fireworks. - Breakfast buffet is inconsistent. One morning the food is bland and cold. The next its hot and salty. Pick one chef. - Pillows were a joke. They were small and uncomfortable. Bring your own. - Beds didn't have an actual comforter on them. - Heat didn't work so if you like to sleep in a warm room, or a room warmer than 68 degrees at night, forget about it. You'll freeze; especially since there isn't a comforter. - The building is old and noisy. The second floor especially. This is my biggest complaint and the reason why I wouldn't return. I'm not a light sleeper or easily irritated by noise; I live in the city, in an apartment and have to deal with freight trains and ambulances wailing all hours of the day and night. However I got some of the worst sleep of my life in this hotel. You can hear every single door open/close. Correction: You can hear every door slam. Showers/baths running in the room next door. The live music outside. Items dropping on the floor or kids jumping off the bed upstairs. None of this would be a problem if there was some kind of sound dampener between the walls and floors. This building was worse than a dorm. I wasn't able to get to sleep until after 2am on both Friday and Saturday nights. I was awake at 6am because the people upstairs were awake stomping like a step team. I really want to give this place a better review but my tired eyes headache refuse to do such a thing. Renovate this hotel and get a better chef and I'll consider giving this hotel my money again.

"Lives up to the "PLUS" status"

5
28/07/2016

This is one the best Best Western Plus hotels that I have stayed at. Very attentive staff, Fantastic breakfast- well worth the $5.00 I had to pay- maybe because I had a special rate. Beds and Pillows are very comfortable- The surroundings are beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Stay somewhere else!!!!"

25/07/2016

The tub drain was draining very slowly. At one point, I had black stuff coming up from the drain during my shower. Gross. How does the cleaning staff notice during their cleaning that the tub is not draining (they must notice, right?) - and then not call in a repair order. Abysmal. Bed too soft; pillows too thick = little sleep. Property is run down and dirty.

"Good value"

24/07/2016

The check-in process was great. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had a Partial ocean view. The beds were comfortable. The morning breakfast buffet was an excellent value and great tasting. We used the indoor pool both days we were there. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We would certainly stay here again when we are going to Poulsbo. We love to stay at this hotel and then go to Kitsap Mosaics during the day in Poulsbo a few miles away and make something fun, then go back to the hotel and swim at night. A great girls get away!

"Reliable comfort zone"

4
22/07/2016

We usually take the Kitsap Airport service to and from this hotel. It's a comfortable place to spend the night before returning to our home on the North Olympic Peninsula. I called before my evening departure from the East Coast to reconfirm and tell them my expected arrival time was after midnight and my king size bed room was a welcome sight when I checked in exhausted after a 1 1/2 hour ride from the airport.

"Awesome Family Reunion Venue"

5
21/07/2016

We just completed a family reunion with 133 family members staying at the hotel. The event staff was excellent to work with and the facilities were wonderful. The hotel rooms were comfortable and the whole family was impressed with the hotel and the amazing view. I highly recommend this hotel for any big event.

"Excellent stay at the Best Western Plus in Silverdale"

5
20/07/2016

The staff was amazing! The setting was lovely with views of the water! Lovely grounds and comfortable beds! We were in a suite that was very roomy with a couch and two side chairs. It was a great place for our family to get together!

"Annual Golf Trip"

3
19/07/2016

A dozen of us have been coming down in early June for about 8 years in a row to this hotel. We play golf in the surrounding area--excellent courses including Gold Mountain, a US Open(or maybe PGA) qualifying course. The hotel is good basic value, rooms are clean and well maintained.I usually get a water view room,I am not sure how much of a premium that is but I like the outlook.Breakfast is usually included but this year was buffet and not great. The usual scrambled eggs under glass with so so sausages and ok bacon.Staff are friendly and helpful. The bar looks like a room that had no use and some one said...hey! lets call it the bar! Nice outside patio/firepit but early June is a little chilly near the beach.Decent pool and jacuzzi--always welcome for old golfers. We will return again next year.

"Great full service hotel"

5
14/07/2016

The hotel staff go out of their way to make sure guests are satisfied. The front desk personnel in particular are extremely helpful and accommodating. I stayed in a king size room at the military/government per diem rate for a great value.

"One of my favorite hotels"

5
13/07/2016

Customer service has improved by 100 percent since our 2015 visit. We felt very welcomed from the minute we walked inside. The breakfast buffet was really good for the price and important to me since I cannot do the continental breakfast that most motels offer. The location is great and within walking distance to a number of restaurants, the mall, and movie theater.

"Loved this hotel! Excellent price for accommodations"

5
13/07/2016

This motel and the front desk staff were some of the best I've encountered. The lobby and grounds are immaculate. The rooms are nice. I consider myself a hotel snob and I don't think for the price this motel can get any better. We had a six-night stay, as we'd come to visit my son who lives in Seattle, arriving 12 hours late for the first night, but staff was super accommodating. I saw a lot about the breakfast in the reviews, and I have to say IF there was any disappointment, it could be in the breakfast. I have had the same breakfast at other Best Westerns for free....there was just a much larger selection (waffles, eggs, bacon, etc.) You buy a voucher for the days you want breakfast in advance for $5 per person. Don't get me wrong, it's a good price if you were to go out to eat....just know that it's the same as you get for free at other BWs. But the lounge, pool, grounds with Dyes Inlet all make up for anything that is lacking. We only had time for one evening by the Inlet to watch the tide come in, but it was so peaceful and beautiful. This was our fault for not being aware of the area, but when mapping the distance between our son who lives in the heart of Seattle and the motel, we initially were under the impression there was only 17 miles between us. If you make that same mistake, just know that's as the crow flies. It's a ferry ride across the Sound (we don't have those in Wyoming) or a 70-mile trip down and around. Ferry rides are free to Seattle for foot passengers (I think it was $18 for our truck one way) but you will have to pay for the ride back. The cost by foot was approx. $24 for four individuals (one senior, one adult, two children 18 & under). Ferry rides being new to us, we enjoyed the experience! It was just not an expected expense. I think with daily ferry rides and cost of motel, it still put you at less than what it would cost you to stay downtown, plus you get to see the views traveling by ferry, including one day that was clear enough to see Mt. Rainier. There's either a 15-minute drive from the motel to Bremerton with an hour-long ferry ride; or you can travel by car a bit further to Bainbridge Island (30 minutes) and take a 30-minute ferry ride. Both take you to the same terminal. It was super easy to maneuver...even for "hicks" like ourselves! Plus, the front desk (Cassandra) was very helpful with any questions we had about how to get around and activities and sights in the area. Our room also had a very nice view of the inlet. Overall, we LOVED our time in Washington, much of it due to our stay at this motel!

"Great view, great service and convenient location"

5
12/07/2016

This was my first time to stay at this location. I was very pleased with the hotel. I had a view room and the view of the water was great. Saw about 20 different fireworks shows around the area from the one location. Rooms were clean, amenities were great, but the most memorable was the staff. One of the most friendly and accommodating staffs I've encountered.

"July 1st get away"

12/07/2016

really enjoyed staying at this hotel, the breakfast was good but the evening entertainment was exceptional. The outdoor music and dinner on the patio was really a lot of fun. would stay here again on a night that offered evening music.

"Busy and Large Hotel, but not Great"

4
09/07/2016

We were "upgraded" to a water-view room on the 2nd floor. It was a little disconcerting walking to our room as the flooring and thin carpeting seemed to flex under our feet and was not the typical commercial flooring. Our room was large and well laid-out, with plenty of wall outlets and even a couple USB ports for plugging in devices. Our water view was not very impressive as we weren't up high and we basically looked out on a flat roof and the back courtyard of the hotel. A wedding or rehearsal dinner was going on but, thankfully, their noise died-down about 9:30 PM. The hotel was very busy on this July weekend with the wedding party and a Little League tournament. I was a little taken-back that we paid well over $100 for our room and breakfast was not included. You could buy the morning breakfast buffet for $5 each (in advance) or $7.95 for walk-ups. The plumbing and furnishings worked well, the TV was about 36" (larger than normal), and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a large pool in a basement atrium area, with a couple hot tubs and even a sauna. Parking around the hotel is plentiful although the luggage carts are a tight fit in the elevators. The front staff was courteous and professional, although weren't very helpful about outside dining suggestions (other than eating at the hotel's restaurant).

"Worst room in a beatifull place"

5
08/07/2016

Having a room with a balcony and lake view in a really nice location sounds good. Not much if you consider that on the balcony you can only stand (too narrow to fit a chair) and on the first floor above the pool your view of the idilic lake is largely obstructed and if you add all the noise and smells coming from the kitchen ventilation (in front of the window). The night was even worse, as the fans keep running loud all night long and although the bed was comfortable could not sleep more than a few hours that night.

"Nice place for a weekend getaway, polite staff, good breakfast"

4
05/07/2016

Excellent buffet breakfast spread; price is ~$5 per person if you book on the previous day, or ~$8 per person if you book in the morning. Dinner their in house restaurant was decent. The free wifi is fast, no glitches while live streaming the Euro 2016 soccer games :) We stayed in a King bed water view room and really enjoyed the calm, soothing view of the water from the room and the balcony. Our room 334 faced the common area where there was a reunion that started in the evening and seemed to go on till pretty late at night; it was pretty full, but the murmur of conversations we could hear with the balcony door closed was not disturbing to us. There is a Safeway and lots of eateries right around the corner

"Doesn't Disappoint"

5
03/07/2016

I've been staying at BW Silverdale off & on for the last two years and each time I have stayed there for a weekend getaway, they have never disappointed my guests and I. The staff is always very friendly & helpful and the lounge has some great food & drink to go with the music. The rooms have always been clean and well taken care of. They take their policy of no smoking very seriously and the rooms have never had a smoky smell. If you're looking for a nice waterfront view to enjoy dinner with your guest on a nice summer's evening I would recommend this hotel. Or if you're looking to relax with a sauna, hot tub or pool, it is open year round.

"Friendly, convenient, comfortable stay"

5
03/07/2016

The staff at the Best Western Plus is more that enough to make up for the age of the hotel. They have an excellent buffet breakfast at a very reasonable price. Don't let the buffet breakfast being not included with the hotel stay be a reason not to book here. The cost of the night stay is cheaper without adding it in. They could easily charge $50 more a night and include it, but they give you an opportunity to go somewhere else if you want by keeping the stay price low. If you want the breakfast, it is very reasonable ($5/person). I would highly recommend staying at the Best Western Plus. It is close and convenient to everything in the area. The only thing I might suggest is a shuttle service to the Ferry.

Your Bar was not open when all signs stated HOURS OPEN until 10:00.. This was very embarrassing to me. I read in the elevator and on other places in the lobby it would be open so invited friends back to the hotel for a after dinner drink, and found it closed.

We stayed for 3 days at the Silverdale Beach Hotel. Was wonderful and affordable. Excellent staff and clean rooms. Will definitely be back!! Very nice room with comfortable bed. Bathrooms are small but not a big deal. We had a beach view room and it was gorgeous.

nice clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great view of the bay. We only stayed one night on this trip but would like to go back again and stay longer in the area and will certainly stay here next time.

Very nice location.. This will be my hotel of choice in the area going forward. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Great value for the price. Plenty of restaurants and fast food joints within 1/4 mile. The hotel is right on the waterfront, which is very charming. Welcoming lobby with a large seating area. Lounge on-site is a nice touch as well. To top it all off, the drive up from SeaTac Int'l is very pleasant! Well worth an hour's drive into and out of the Seattle/Tacoma area!

We loved our night in Silverdale. Beautiful views on a quiet beach. We weren't there long, but it was nice to wake up and watch the birds in the water from our balcony. The room was roomy and be very clean. Nice staff. Everyone was accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer. My kids especially enjoyed walking along the beach that's steps away from the hotel.

"Silverdale Beach Hotel is amazing!"

This is one of the nicest hotels. It is incredibly clean, well appointed, and near all the shopping/restaurants. The staff is helpful, courteous, and cheery. The hotel location is superb! Close to the mall, Starbucks, restaurants, etc. And it's located on the water! Beautiful views!!! And there's a walking path to enjoy.

Excellent service and a comfortable room. On the water with a nice pool and hot tub. Bike/walking trails, nice lounge with fire pit. Walking distance to some very good pubs, restaurants and grocery stores. Recommend Hop Jack's, which is a few hundred feet from the hotel.

Wonderful location. It feels like vacation cabin with a big city in your backyard. Everything is so close but when I look out at the bay, I am on vacation. They even had a bonfire right outside the bar to relax.

This was a quick one night stay in the Poulsbo/Silverdale area for my daughter and I. I have lots of great things to say about this hotel but one small complaint. The room was hot all night and we were never able to adjust the temperature with the control box on the wall. We each got up several times to see if we could cool down the room but we were never able to unless we opened the balcony door and we didn't want to sleep with the balcony door open. The front desk help was very courteous. The room was clean, a nice roomy size with beautiful decor. There was a memory foam bed that was extremely comfortable and an arrangement of pillows from firm to soft. There was a coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator in our room along with a large flat screen television with Direct TV. The bathroom had extra towels along with soap and lotion dispensers. The room had a deck to look out over the water which was very nice. The night we were there they had live music which was very nice, it had been raining so they moved it indoors but on a warm sunny day it would be nice to enjoy the music from the comfort of your room or balcony. On arrival they tell you about their breakfast buffet that is $5 at check in or $7.95 at the door. It was well worth the $5! The food was delicious and hot. The breakfast room staff were friendly and very attentive to your needs. Here is just a small sampling of what they had to offer: dry cereal, oatmeal with lots of toppings, waffles with two types of berries and whip cream or syrup and peanut butter if you are like our family. Scrambled eggs with cheese, slices of ham, polska kielbasa with peppers and onions, french toast, hash brown potatoes, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, english muffins, danishes, 4 types of juice, 2% milk, fat free milk, almond milk, coffee, tea and water. And every bit of it was delicious!! For activities; the hotel has an exercise room, a sauna, hot tub, very large swimming pool with a view of the water, and a couple of bicycles that you can borrow. I will be making a few more trips to this area over the summer and will possibly stay here again.

the Silverdale Beach Hotel in in a perfect location for traveling near Bremerton. It has many walking trails around the area, plus a good selection of restaurants. The rooms were clean, and the staff very pleasant to work with. I will recommend it to friends and family.

a good location if you want to escape the overecrowded scenery of hotels in south seattle next to SEATEC and Highway 5 or 405. a good value, not overpriced, friendly an kind staff. quiet located. shops and restaurants nearby.

My husband and I were able to unwind in a lovely room with a great view of the water. We watched the tide come in (complete with wading birds) from both our room and the lounge. We enjoyed a walk on the beach and even stuck my toes in the water. We will come back again.

"We came back"

14/06/2016

Love this hotel. It gets better and better. It has a great breakfast buffet but it is not gratis as most hotels these days. We paid anyway and had a good breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable, even the pillows. I had a great night sleep. I like that they keep cold water and coffee available 24/7. They have removed the espresso bar since my last visit but there is a Starbucks very close and many, many restaurants in the area. It is very near a large shopping mall also.

The rooms were nice but, too expensive. Then on top of that they charged my credit card for breakfast, even though I paid cash for vouchers at check in. I didn't notice this at check out, and now it's a giant hassle to try and get a refund.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
Ms. Aline Clark-Sako, I have looked at your receipt and we did not charge your card for the $5.44 breakfast charge. We did take cash from you and it is reflected on your receipt. I have emailed you a copy for your records. The first charge on your receipt is the breakfast charge of $5.00, then the tax of $0.44, then the cash payment of $5.44. The room charge, taxes, discount, and payment follows the breakfast charge. If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call at 360 698 1000 ext 502. All the best, Genie Pruitt General Manager

"Annual golf trip"

Stayed here with a group of golfers about 8 years in a row.Decent mid quality hotel in a good waterfront location.Rooms are well kept and clean. This year breakfast was buffet style and very average. We always have dinner off premise-the Yacht Broiler bar is about a 700 yard walk around the point.Decent meals mid price point.Hotel is central to the 5 golf courses we play.

10/06/2016

I have stayed and completed business trade shows at this hotel many times over the past 20 years. I had not been here for about 8 years prior to this trip. The hotel rooms now seem a little small, without seating other than a desk chair small side chair and the bed. I miss a couch. TV was fine, I did have problems with the Wi Fi, and staff were quick to offer assistance. Breakfast IS NOT INCLUDED as it is in many BW facilities and will set you back about $8 per person for the buffet. I still like the waterfront location as well as convenience to the mall etc. I did think the rates were a little high for the room amenities.

"Great"

5
09/06/2016

This was a great example of "Best Western Plus" quality. The staff was great. They had my reservation. they immediately recognized my name and my rewards membership status. This is a vacation area during vacation season. But, the price was still very reasonable (everything considered). Breakfast was not free, but it was a good value. The wifi service was trouble free. Everything about the location was clean, comfortable and exactly what I wanted and expected.

"Great Place to Stay"

5
08/06/2016

Even though this is not a new building, it is well taken care of, clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We were welcomed by two friendly ladies at the counter and directed to our third floor room. As soon at my brother and sister-in-law opened their room door, I could hear an exclamation of delight. They, as we were, quite pleased to have a pretty room with a full view of Dyes Inlet. It was a calming and peaceful two nights. Every time we exited the elevator, the ladies at the desk asked things were going and if we were doing something special. When we went back to the elevators, the ladies asked either if we enjoyed breakfast or how we enjoyed the day. This was the friendliest hotel staff I have ever encountered. All four of us said that we would return to this hotel when we needed a break.

"Lying blue haired sass at front desk"

1
07/06/2016

Yes, I'm disgruntled, as the title suggests. I booked an express deal, paying extra for a king, which they gave away within 90 minutes of booking! So the room type wasn't honored. I asked if they were going to do anything about the rate. Oh no, the front desk agent told me, "you didn't pay extra for a king; you paid extra for a water view." I know that's not true. I don't care about a view when I'm getting in at 9pm; I wanted us both to fit comfortably in the bed. Funny my receipt says King and nothing about view. But her omniscience will take her much further than her lack of professionalism.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
I am very sorry that you had a bad experience with us. Very rarely do we get comments on poor customer service and we take those extremely serious. It is unfortunate when something gets missed between third party reservations and the hotel. It almost always impacts the guest the greatest as it seems this has. I would love to speak with you further about this matter. I have also emailed you with my contact information.

"Great place and value"

5
07/06/2016

The place was great they even let me bring my little dog but know that at this property you cant use your video game console on thier TV's to play or watch Netflix or Amazon prime so if you are wanting to do that or have kids that will want to play plan ahead or ask them to put another flat screen so you can use it just as a monitor

"I love this hotel!"

5
06/06/2016

I love that the hotel is right on the water and most rooms have a water view. There is an outdoor fire pit with trees in the surrounding area lit up with white lights and live music was playing when I was there on a Thursday night. They also have pet friendly rooms. It's a nice place to come "home to" when you're working in the area and a nice place to go when you want to get away for a weekend.

"Excellent choice in Silverdale"

4
04/06/2016

Stayed here overnight and it could not have been more pleasant. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and my room-which I was able to check in early for-was very clean and nicely sized. Also had a wonderful view of the water. I will be staying here again if business brings me back into the area.

"Great for the Price"

4
02/06/2016

Not a whole lot of good choices in the area. This is a decent hotel right on the water. Clean, nice friendly staff, fair price. While we didn't have our dog with us, they do allow in some rooms. Most Best Western's include breakfast but apparently since they have a full service restaurant (open only in AM...bar does offer food in eves) they do have a better selection, but they do charge $5 if you reserve the night before otherwise $7.99.

"Great value!"

5
02/06/2016

Loved the access to the beach. I used the fitness room and hot tub, both of which were empty when I used them and both had great views of the water. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. New appointments.

"Small Rooms"

3
31/05/2016

Both the main room and the bathroom were awkwardly small and poorly set up. The view from the room was nice; balcony quite small as well, with no furniture there to enjoy that view. The bed was the only saving grace to this room...it was the best bed I've ever slept in. Breakfast is not included in the charge; it is extra. Location of the motel is nice, and has easy access to the north and south areas of the peninsula; lots of restaurants and shopping close by

"excellent stay"

5
31/05/2016

We stayed while waiting for our new house to close and they treated us like family! They were nice and accommodating for us and our family's pet. A very pleasant experience. The location next the bay w's beautiful, and the nightly fires was cozy and comfortable. The sunrise from our room was awesome. The staff welcomed us every time we came back. Overall I would definitely come back.

"Scenic, Quiet, Clean and Comfortable"

29/05/2016

The things you would hope to have and see are at this facility at a price most anyone could enjoy. The view is spectacular. The rooms are quiet, clean and with a beautiful flat screen TV. Easy access, great parking, helpful desk. Better than average breakfast choices with hot food, fruits, and variety of juices.

"Room for improvement"

3
27/05/2016

Room for improvement areas: reservations gave us two rooms far apart instead of adjoining; housekeeping was minimal service; breakfast.was lacking bacon, and sausage, just served some kind of warm ring bologna.

"Lovely lake views"

4
22/05/2016

My husband had stayed here before on a golf trip and had enjoyed it, so wanted to share it with me. We specifically booked a water view too only to be given a city view and to be told hotel was full. However, after insisting and showing our booking.com reservation, the receptionist managed to find us a water view room. She handled it all very well. The king room on third floor was well equipped and pleasant.

"Good Location"

3
20/05/2016

The rooms here are smaller than other places, but nice. We arrived at 3 pm, but had to wait until 4 pm to check in. That isn't an unusual time, but there didn't seem to be many people waiting to check in on a Wednesday. The breakfast buffet isn't included at this Best Western, which is unusual. It costs $7.50 unless you pay $5 on the day you check in. The buffet is a little better than the average Best Western. We didn't request a room overlooking the water, so we got a parking lot view.

"Nice Stay for a quick trip"

4
20/05/2016

"Pet Friendly"

4
17/05/2016

I've stayed at this hotel for a weekend with my children two times. The kids and I enjoyed the pet friendly atmosphere and the grounds were kept very clean. The pool was a bit larger than some other hotels we have visited and the beach was right there for the kids to enjoy.

"average hotel that's overpriced for its quality."

3
17/05/2016

This is an older hotel that's showing its age. Its overpriced for the quality you receive. Its a pet friendly hotel and and at times it smells like a dog pound. the cable TV doesn't have all the channels listed. We were looking for HLN and it was listed but not there. One big plus was the indoor pool which we did enjoy.

"Great Hotel and Fantastic Grounds"

5
16/05/2016

I found my stay at this hotel to be both relaxing and convenient for work. At night, on the back grounds, the employees built a fire in the fire pit and people sat around and talked and the whole thing just felt very homey. I would suggest this hotel for families, couples, and business travelers. Great experience.

"Best location in Silverdale area."

4
14/05/2016

Best Western Silverdale in located on a very nice piece of property at the top of Dyes Inlet. There are numerous restaurants close by to the hotel. We walked to the Yacht Club Broiler restaurant which we highly recommend. Unlike most other Best Western hotels, this one charges a fee for breakfast, but is offset by the very reasonable room rates. The breakfast is standard Best Western fare. I am of the opinion they do this since many guests hit one of the area restaurants for breakfast. We stayed in a standard size room with two queen beds. The room was very nicely appointed. The room was a bit small for us. One of our party was in a wheelchair, and there was not enough room for the chair to make it past the first bed and the furniture. I would suggest opting for one of the suites if you are travelling with a wheelchair, scooter or walker. There is a very nice grass lawn between the building and the waterfront which is great for family fun. There is also a large fire ring available. The indoor pool and hot tub was enjoyable, but is accessed via stairs. Those in a wheelchair need to ask the front desk to let them in via the locked doors to the patio area.

"Much More than Pleasant"

5
13/05/2016

My husband and I have stayed at Best Westerns before but not at a Plus property and what a plus this was! Extremely pleasant, beautiful, setting and just an all around wonderful stay. The service was excellent, and the room was lovely. Water pressure for the shower was fabulous. The views spectacular. The only thing I would have enjoyed having that I didn't was a couple of chairs on the deck to sit outside on.

This hotel is in a beautiful location and conveniently located to many services. It is very attractive, very clean and is staffed by very a friendly, helpful and professional staff. We have stayed twice and look forward to our next stay when we visit family.

06/05/2016

Very polite and accommodating staff at check in. Restaurant/Lounge was good and service excellent. Room was very nicely appointed and updated. Very small though. Clean and comfortable bed. Charge for breakfast $7.95 or if you pay at check in they offer it for $5.00..

"Very nice"

4
04/05/2016

Very nice hotel with excellent customer service. Hotel is older but the rooms are outstanding and very clean. Don't be fooled by the beach, its not sand but small rock like drive way gravel. Several nice walking paths. Best western is my hotel of choice for price and comfort. This hotel is price fairly at $129. If your ever in Silver Lake and want a clean comfortable place to stay, this is it.

"Very nice Hotel"

04/05/2016

The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff also helped us with a few items we had forgotten to pack. The breakfast buffet was well worth the price! We had a beautiful view of the water and it was very relaxing.

"Wow"

03/05/2016

Honestly, I did not know what to expect coming to this hotel. This was my first time in the area and I was staying here for my SO's birthday so I was really worried coming in. That changed the moment I saw the hotel. The appearance of the hotel inside and out was spectacular (I really liked the set-up of the lobby) and we were greeted by the very kind and professional Arman and Cheyenne. They made sure we were taken care of, which I greatly appreciate. Would definitely recommend (especially for those couples looking for a getaway) and would definitely return for a second stay!

"excellent experience"

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
That is fantastic that you had such a welcoming refreshing trip! Our weather has been behaving so well lately and really making for some beautiful views on the water. Thank you for your wonderfully kind comments and hopefully we see you again soon! Cheers, Genie Pruitt 360-698-1000

"Nice, clean and friendly staff!"

5
01/05/2016

We decided to stay here based on a recommendation from a friend. Glad we did! Starbucks close by too! Wonderful experience no complaints! They had a bar open early with a live band, pool and hot tub were wonderful. The rooms were clean and in nice condition. The morning breakfast was great only wish they had bacon but otherwise no complaints.

"Great view location & convenient for restaurant options."

3
30/04/2016

The coffe in the room is terrible. ...breakfast is average...but the sea view is great!. Many restaurants around to choose from. Too pricy for what you get. Bed are comfy. The A/c is very noisy....people get drunk so you need to locked yourself in.

"Highly Recommended"

5
30/04/2016

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the water with several restaurants nearby. Poulsbo is only 20 minutes away. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Cash brewery is a simple walk mostly along a trail. That same walk goes to a park. They have a nice back porch - like atmosphere with a fire pit. My only complaint would be that the gym was small. If you're a member of the YMCA, there is one nearby. My colleagues enjoyed the sauna, jacuzzi, and pool. A lot of amenities. Breakfast is really good. They include the "small things" like 3 different papers available, water and coffee at the front, bottled water in the gym.

"Convenient, Comfortable, Scenic"

5
28/04/2016

The hotel is easy to find from the highway, and close to restaurants and stores. There is a walking path around the hotel that goes along the beach, with a park bench for resting and viewing the inlet.

"Always a pleasure"

5
21/04/2016

I like this hotel and the caring can-do attitude of its staff. There are a lot of places to eat in the area within walking distance. The breakfast is excellent. The cost is $8 or you can prepay it added to your bill for $5.

"Great View of the Sound"

4
15/04/2016

I have stayed in this Hotel many times growing up. Went back to visit family and took my family for the views and the pool. Everyone enjoyed every minute from swimming in the pool, walking on the beach and looking at what the tide left behind. The live music in the lounge on the weekend was quality and had a mix of music everyone could enjoy. Fire pit in the courtyard was inviting to many people of all ages.

"Overnight Stay with 2 kids"

14/04/2016

The hotel room was very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the room had a modern/ minimalistic style. We had a perfect view of the water. Unfortunately, their heater was not working when we got there. It's still chilly around March and it was 65F. We called the front desk and within 10 mins, someone came into our room. The maintenance guy fixed the heater but left his tools by the door and a puddle of water on the floor. I had to talk to the front desk again so they can clean it up and get the tools out our of our room. The front desk was apologetic but the maintenance guy who came back to pick up his stuff didn't care. Breakfast was not included, we had to pay extra. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and the dining area had a view of the water.

"Great view of lake, terrific sauna, adequate fitness center"

3
12/04/2016

This hotel is a complicated jumble. It has strengths, but oddities too. Arriving on a gold day in November, I wanted to take a sauna. I dressed for the sauna, not realizing I'd have to walk through a long, frigid basement hallway to reach it. The sauna was beautifully hot, but there was no dressing room abutting it. Instead, there was a large room that apparently was once the fitness center but it now used for seminars. Imagine, walking out of the sauna into a seminar! Fortunately, when I was there, there instead were a dozen 10 year old boys practicing for a floor hockey match under the watchful eyes of their moms. Entertaining, but it didn't make for a quiet, relaxing sauna. And then, after the sauna came another lonesome frigid walk down that long frigid basement hallway. Apparently, the only way to get to the swimming pool is to walk through the same hallway, through the seminar room, and up an escalator. All quite odd, showing a failure to fully realign use of the space successfully. The fitness center was upstairs near the front desk with a nice view of the lake. Unfortunatley, it was small and there were no rules posted on use, so one person was able to monopolize the treadmill for well over an hour. having said that, the rooms were decent and the front desk staff was pleasant.

"Great staff, paper thin walls."

3
08/04/2016

Staff were are great, very friendly especially Cora in the breakfast room. The issue with this hotel I believe is the age of it. The walls are paper thin. We could hear every toilet flush/shower taken in other rooms (water running in the pipes etc). We could also hear a cell phone buzzing in the room next to us on their night stand very early in the morning and it buzzed every 10-15 minutes all morning long starting at 4:30 AM (lots of texts or emails I guess).

"Buisness Stay"

08/04/2016

Working for NAVFAC at Kitsap, stayed here before it was a Best Western property and is still a nice place to stay. Great Breakfast at a great price! Room was pleasant and comfortable, but unfortunately the cooling system wasn't working the evening before checkout. Desk personnel responded by comping my breakfast's.

"Nice place to stay"

5
05/04/2016

Clean, comfortable, nice shower and the best breakfast buffet. $5 if you prepay for breakfast but it is well worth it. Cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, busquits, gravy, waffles (including blueberry batter). Good coffee, spacious dining area and a very friendly lady ensures your coffee us always full.

"good place to stay in Silverdale"

03/04/2016

I am a fan of Best Western properties in general and we were very pleased with this property. It's waterfront location on Dyes Inlet is terrific. Our room was water view and we liked that but the seal had broken in the glass on the sliding doors and that was a distraction to say the least. The room was comfortable, particularly the bedding quality. The bathrooms are rather a tight fit but supplied with all one's needs. The swimming pool is large and well located as is the hot tub. The buffet breakfast is an extra, reasonable charge but well worth it. You can get drinks and some food in the rather plain lounge but too has a view. The service was exceptionally friendly from front desk to the bar and breakfast service. In the summer I think lounging on the lawn would be pleasant. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

"Best Western Beach Hotel"

3
01/04/2016

Beautiful View rooms if you're not next to the building ventilation system. Great amenities advertised, indoor pool or spa is great for families but not so much romantic getaways. Bikes and fires are advertised but only really available during summer. Beds were very comfortable, but shower didn't drain. Great value and staff is friendly, so overall it was a good stay and I'd stay there again.

28/03/2016

The staff was very friendly and greeted us whenever we were in the lobby area and welcomed us back whenever we came in. At breakfast the servers were very courteous and helped with anything we needed. The lobby staff even gave me information for a shuttle to take us back to the airport on Easter. We checked out on Easter and the person at the front desk was very cheerful and saying Happy Easter. It made the trip very enjoyable, especially being away from home on a holiday.

My nephew, my dog, and I took a road trip to the Kitsap Penninsula and decided to stay at this Best Western because of the view, which was really lovely. The room itself was a little strangely laid out because of its diagonal shape (desk crammed into a corner and no table and chairs), but it was nice enough. The balcony had no chairs on it either, but we made do. We lucked out with a beautiful day as well. Very dog friendly with a beach and lots of grass to walk around. Staff was excellent. A solid recommendation for the area.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
Thank you for your remarks. I do love this view we have. It is almost like the inlet is put there solely for us to enjoy at the moment. We love having all our guests here, the human kind and the animal kingdom. Thank you for letting us be a part of your road trip! Have a great day, Genie P

"Great Place to Stay"

25/03/2016

We visited family member in the area. Very satisfied with this hotel. Rooms were clean, we asked for room with view of the bay which was very nice and relaxing. All staff that we encountered were extremely friendly, respectful, and courteous. You have to pay for breakfast, but it was worth not having to leave the building early in the morning. There were several good places to eat within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
We would definitely love for you to stay here again! We do take great pride in our journey to become known for having the friendliest staff. Thank you! Genie Pruitt

We stay at this hotel at least 3-4 times a year when visiting family. The staff is outstanding (including Ethan in the Lounge) and always courteous and ready to assist. The views are breathtaking, even when it rains!! Love this hotel and all it's amenities.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
The views are amazing! It is hard to be too stressed when you are looking at the water be it choppy or calm. We do try to match our service with the beautiful relaxing surroundings and it sounds like we do for you. I will let Ethan know about your compliment as well as the rest of the team. This hotel loves you back. Have a great journey and until we meet again, Genie Pruitt

Originally stayed at the Oxford Suites for 9 nights due to the better reviews, after nearly three days without power moved to the Best Western for 3 nights. It was like light and day, just wish I had moved day one. The rooms were slightly smaller but every other aspect was much better, from staff at the desk to breakfast, beds, pool, bar, and the general feeling of comfort.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
We certainly understand the hardships that the power outages can cause all of those involved. I am glad that your stay in the area became better for you. I certainly wish it would have been great from the beginning. It sounds like we helped you relax a bit and salvage what was left of your stay and I am so glad we could. That was certainly one of the worst wind storms we have had for a while. While it made for a beautiful view, it certainly wrecked havoc across town. We are glad you stayed safe and didn't get blown away! We look forward to seeing you again! Genie Pruitt

"It's not expensive, and it shows"

Nice people and beautifully placed on the bay. Plenty of restaurants nearby. But the hotel rooms and conference facility needs work. In the rooms, the beds are outsized for the room leaving little space between bed and furniture. The bathrooms are also too small as you have to do dance with the toilet to shut the door. The conference facilities are substandard. They don't know how to space tables and the noise from the kitchen staff shouting and crashing equipment was a terrible distraction. I would not recommend any conferences at this hotel.

We have stayed here many times. Service is always excellent. Kids love the pool; adults enjoy the hot tub. Great views of Dyes inlet. Convenient access to services in Silverdale. Walking distance to numerous restaurants and old town area. Nice walking path along beach.

"Best Place for my work travel"

09/03/2016

I've stayed at many Best Western hotels over the years and this is by far one of my favorites. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and the staff is always willing to help. I chose this particular Best Western because of it's proximity to the veterinary hospital I work in two days a week.

Wonderful 3 night stay! Room was fantastic, employees friendly and great amenities! The breakfast was filling and the pool was great for the kids and the lounge was fantastic for a night cap before bed!

"Derby skaters love the Best Western"

Every year we attend the Wild West Showdown our skaters prefer to stay at the Best Western. It never disappoints. Pool and Hot Tub always a hit with tired aching bodies. Nice place to stay when traveling with a Jr sports team. Rooms are clean and staff very helpful.

07/03/2016

i have stayed in this hotel at least once a year, i have enjoyed my stay the past few times but this most recent one was unimpressive, my door would not latch so no key card needed to get in the room just push it open, didnt want to leave my items in there but also didnt want to pack up everyday, i told the front desk and they said someone would be up to fix it, NEVER got fixed while i was there, the bathroom smelled very moldy, it had a huge square patch above the shower that was probably the source of the smell. when i go to a hotel it needs to be a home away from home, this did not fill that expectation. the floor didnt get vaccumed the whole 5 days i was there, not sure if the sheets were changed either,i did get clean towles though.

"Great Customer Service"

07/03/2016

Not only was the staff helpful they went above and beyond. Every March for the last 4 years, we travel to see my Neices skate in a roller derby tournament. They travel here from Colorado to participate. My kids and I meet them 2 hours from our home to spend the weekend cheering them on and spending quality time. We have stayed at the Best Western the last 3 years. The staff was very accomadating durning our stay, as always. They provided me with ice packs for me and bags for my daughters to collect treasures out by the bay. When my daughters came back in the lobby their bags ripped from their bounty, the hotel staff helped them pick it up and even gave them each a box to hold their stuff in so it would break again.

04/03/2016

Love this place, it has greatly improved since becoming part of the Best Western franchise. I have stayed here many times, and have had nothing but a pleasant stay. It is also pet friendly which I will keep in mind for next time. Staff is great and welcoming, very quick check in. The rooms are wonderful, awesome laundry facility and swimming area. It was the perfect solution for the power outage that occurred from the recent wind storm. More Staycations to come!!!!

03/03/2016

This hotel is local to me but we had an emergency and had to evacuate our home. The hotel was packed because of a bad windstorm. I felt the employees took it all in stride as people arrived all at once. Our pet friendly room was a tad worn in places but very comfortable. Our kitty did NOT like the room. The beds were dreamy though! The shower hot with wall amenities rather than tiny bottles of stuff. Our view on the side was nice....even though the water was white capping....lol. I would actually stay here again just for fun! Considering our circumstances, it was a good stay. The staff comped us breakfast because of situation. It wasn't the best breakfast ever, but we were grateful just the same!

03/03/2016

The power went out and my family and I needed a warm place to stay and quickly as it was after work and very cold outside. We had homework to finish and still needed to eat. I greatly appreciate that the staff went out of their way to help me get a room and even offered me a discount to help ease the discomfort of the situation my family and I was in. It was a very nice experience and a very smooth process, I needed power and internet as I had homework to finish and 3 small children who needed a warm place to stay. My check out was very quick and friendly as well. The only things that took from my comfort is that there wasn't warmer blankets and the beds were a little uncomfortable for my liking. (everyone is different though) Overall I had a great experience! Thank you!

"Great place, friendly staff"

29/02/2016

The hotel is a great place, reasonable rates and within walking distance of several restaurants. There was a lot of cigarette smoke in the hallway both days (reported to the front desk but they said they couldn't find the smokers) and a strong cleaning fluid smell. Front desk was friendly and helpful. BREAKFAST CHARGE IS SEPARATE!

"Long, Friendly Stay"

28/02/2016

My wife and I stayed here for approximately 7 days, while I was waiting to transfer from Bangor to Pearl Harbor. First off, the price is very right, especially for the location. Silverdale is where most of the mid-range eateries are. It is also very close to Bremerton (ferry to Seattle) and Poulsbo (quaint, ethnic-Norwegian town). The bed was firm and comfortable, with a wide array of pillows to use as desired. The TV is high quality and they have DVD players to borrow at the front desk. The swimming pool is large and warm and has good hours. They also have a hot tub right next to it, and a sauna down the hall. The site is always very clean and the staff very friendly. The only negative is that all the room doors seem to slam, so be careful with that. I would certainly stay here again.

"Relaxing"

25/02/2016

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The buffet breakfast was affordable and lots of variety. The indoor pool was nice and warm. We got to the pool early and there were no towels. However, a staff member was easy to find and immediately put out towels. It was within walking distance to the water, restaurants and more. Great Trip!

"PERFECT PLACE FOR GETAWAY!"

Love the location and service! Room and view is perfect! Been here several times last year and I just love everything about it. Service was awesome and the room was clean and the bed,, pillows, and all the linens was very nice. The place was so quiet and very relaxing. We really had a comfortable stay.

We always have our family stay here when the visit. The pool Is always clean. The breakfast is good and the view is lovely. The rooms are very comfortable . 17/02/2016

I've stayed at this hotel about 5 times now, It is an older hotel, but it has been well kept up and renovated. The best room that I stayed in is ground floor on the inner court yard. This room has a small patio, and a beautiful ocean view. It;s definitely worth the nominal upgrade charge to get the ocean view. Very comfortable. The bar has good food and live entertainment on weekends. I would stay here again, as this seems to be the top hotel in Silverdale.

"Good overnight stay"

5
15/02/2016

We have stayed at this Hotel twice and the rates are very good. The pool, hot tub and sauna were very clean and all located on one floor/ The lounge always has entertainment-would ask for a room not directly over the lounge is you are a lite sleeper. Drinks and appetizers are good too. No complaints so far.

"Really nice location"

4
12/02/2016

We usually stay here for hockey tournaments and it's pretty nice. It's far from the rink (but I guess they sponsor the tourney) but it's got a pool, it's close to restaurants and Kitsap Mall, so apart from the drive to the games it's hard to fault. Ask for a first floor room....they open onto a lawn and the bay. It's very nice but more "waterfront" than beachfront as the shoreline is rocky. . Rooms are clean, nicely appointed and the place is affordable. I'd stay here even if I was not in town for a tournament.

"great location"

11/02/2016

This is a great location if you are visiting the area. We had a water view with beautiful sunrise and sunset. Easy walking to large mall shopping and restaurants. Paved walking path along waterfront. Nice pool and spa. Close to cool museums like the Navy Underwater Warfare Museum. Poulsbo and Port Orchard are nice little towns close by with lots of antiques shops. There is a big casino nearby too.

"Fantastic Hotel"

08/02/2016

The place is a gem. Fantastic view and staff. Far exceeded our expectations. The staff at this property are the real story. You get the sense that this staff really like their jobs. They are happy and make you feel right at home.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
I glad you enjoyed your stay! We do have a pretty fantastic team here. We are very selective about the teammates we hire, so that the experience is better for the guest and those working. It makes it much easier to love your job when you each adore each other. We are always ready to welcome you home! Hope to see you soon!

31/01/2016

My husband and I booked the Best Western as a weekend getaway with our two infant daughters. The hotel was clean with great rooms and comfy beds. The water view from the room is gorgeous. All and all our stay at the Best Western was made absolutely miserable when we were woken up at 2am by an extremely loud drunk party in the adjoining room. There were slamming doors, screaming, slamming on walls, and marijuana smoke in the halls! After a fight broke out and people were slammed against the walls, we complained and security did show up and ask if they were fighting and left, however the party continued for close to 2 hours. This was absolutely unacceptable to have near our two infants trying to sleep. We will not book this hotel again due to this horrific experience with our children. We were also extremely disappointed that the management staff did not apologize or compensate us for the disaster of a night we endured. It seems the locals in this area may use this hotel to hang out after the bars, super disappointing weekend for our family.

"So Surprised"

5
30/01/2016

I didn't even realize there was a beach front hotel in Silverdale. I couldn't have been more surprised and delighted. I stayed on the ground floor so I could walk right out of my room to the bay. Quiet, clean, refreshing.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
I like to think we are a little hidden gem in Silverdale. I am very lucky to get to be a part of the great team here and enjoy the view throughout the seasons. The crisp clear days are my favorite, though I love the spooky super foggy mornings as well. It is like the world stops for a minute just a few feet away and you are alone on the beach. A perfect sanctuary. I am glad that you were pleasantly surprised and I hope you will visit us again soon! Have a great day!

"Everything you need to be comfortable"

26/01/2016

...Especially if you live in the outlying areas of the Olympic Penisula and need to travel to Sea-Tac Airport. It's the perfect stop to / from the airport and a relatively easy drive to drop off and pick up passengers, or park your car when using the Kitsap Airport Transporter, which has regular hourly stops here. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The hotel often keeps a room open for late travelers who need to stay last minute. They have a very comfortable lobby, restaurant, lounge and coffee shop; and a beautiful beachfront location with a paved walkway along the water and into the adjacent park. It's also walking distance to shopping and restaurants. This hotel makes smart use of its advantages and does a great job of serving the traveller's needs. Great services, great staff, great location! Great hotel!

"My Stay at Best Western Plus"

21/01/2016

I spent a couple of nights because of mouth surgery in Silverdale. The room was nicely decorated, very clean, and the bed was great. It was nice to have a restaurant/bar right inside the motel and I loved the nice walkway around the bay. The staff are very nice to work with and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

"Comfy, convenient"

4
21/01/2016

I admit to a certain prejudice toward Best Western. Every franchise I have experienced has been a good choice for cleanliness, comfort and helpful, friendly staff. This location does not disappoint. While in my case the convenience is tied to being minutes away from an early morning medical appt., it Is in fact convenient to shopping at the Kitsap Mall and other retail locations. I had dinner at the in hotel Martini Lounge. Though the menu is fairly limited, my wedge salad and chicken satay skewers were freshly prepared and tasty. There is a large indoor pool and an exercise room. Many of the rooms have a water view. Another plus is that it is a scheduled stop for the Airporter to SeaTac. There is a fairly reasonable daily rate for parking, but also the option of a park stay and ride rate. At the moment, one night at $125 allows two weeks of free parking. Shuttle runs hourly.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
Wow! Thank you for such gracious words! We strive for great guest experiences, so thank you for letting us know that you were satisfied with your accommodations! We look forward to seeing you soon!

"Anniversary Trip"

18/01/2016

The staff went above and beyond for our trip. This was our first night in a year away from our three kids, it was also our anniversary. They made sure we were happy every step of the way, they sent Champagne to our room, and they even had live music in their bar every Fri and Sat. Amazing views and very comfy suites. Our Favorite restaurants is right across the parking lot. so made it easy to walk to.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
We try to treat each guest like they are here for something special, but we really like to step it up when we know we have special moments happening. An anniversary is a momentous occasion and I am so happy we got to share that with you and help you have a special minute. Happy Anniversary and we truly wish you many many more happy and loving years!

"Great Breakfast"

5
18/01/2016

Could not believe the quality of the included breakfast. This was a business trip I would stay here again. The fire outside was a nice touch, I hope they keep it up. Next time I will try the pool. THE lounge was too bright. Taxis in this town take a long time.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
Taxis certainly can take a while. We are always happy to order you a taxi also if you know what time you would need to depart. The fire outside creates a beautiful serene but also comforting and welcoming atmosphere. It takes the chill out and reminds me of warmer nights. Make sure you try to pool, if for all else just to reset and relax. I take my break in the pool area often just to be able to enjoy the view from there. Our sauna is also an amazing relaxing experience. Hopefully we see you soon!

"Great location, comfortable hotel"

Our hockey team was looking for a hotel in the area for a tournament. This was a great option. There is a large lobby for guest to relax, a play room in the basement for the boys to hangout. Something for everyone.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
We always love the excitement all of our sport's teams bring to the hotel. So much bustling energy and laughter, it helps to create the warm friendly atmosphere that we strive to obtain. I am glad you all had a good time. The basement is an amazing little hangout spot...

I stayed at his hotel several times during the Spring and Summer of 2015. It was a nice getaway for the weekend. I went to see Hurricane Ridge a couple of times during these trips, and did some shopping in nearby towns. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was comfortable. There is a restaurant/bar in the Hotel that has good food and drinks. I will go back again.

"Great Place to stay in the Great Northwest."

We made this our home base in our visit to this area of the Northwest. It is centralized for day trips to all the great things to see and visit in this area. Port Townsend, Port Ludlow, Sequim, Port Angeles, Port Gamble were all very unique and interesting.. The Yacht Club Broiler across the Bay is also an AWESOME place for Dinner.... Clean rooms, friendly staff is all one is really looking for in today's travel.

"Beware it could be you"

01/01/2016

We booked this hotel for 3 days during Christmas time. We asked for a king bed room with a bay view. The hotel decor appeared to be updated so despite the minimal 15" clearance from the dresser to the foot of the bed and the view included the roof of the first floor restaurant below we thought it would do since most of our days would be shared with family. We turned on the heater to take the chill off the room before leaving to visit family. It was a bit loud but we figured it would not be on much so off we went. During the night the heater turned on and off continually first with a magnetic switch sound which replicated the door being opened and then the loud heater. When the heater turned off there was a hum from the vents on the roof of the restaurant outside our door. By 2am I decided I would take a shower to relax and hopefully go to sleep- no shower gel. The next day the staff, who were very kind, tried to move us to a better room, a choice between 2 suites. The first was nicely appointed but adjacent to the ice and Coke machine the second a corner small"suite" on the first floor. We wanted to leave and find another hotel but because we booked through TA we were not assured we would get our money back. The second room was our best option. The heater did not have the initial switch sound but was equally inefficient 4 hours to gain 10 degrees. The fireplace in our room did not work and when the maintenance person bypassed the wall switch you could smell gas in the room. The general manager just sent me an email admitting that the heating system will need to be worked on. No thanks! The nice entry to the hotel and nice staff can not make up for a restful night sleep in a well operated hotel. Trip Advisor needs to be able to undo these disasters at the time they occur.

The hotel is very nice, with helpful staff and a gorgeous view. This is my second time staying here. I plan to come back during the summer so I can enjoy the outdoor features they offer, such as the fire pit and walking trails.

"amazing nights sleep"

28/12/2015

Very lovely, clean, comfortable hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Not crazy about the fact that breakfast is not complimentary but great nights sleeps non-the-less. Amazingly comfortable bed and pillow.

"Average Best Western with a view"

26/12/2015

Nice clean room with a waterview & the bar has live entertainment @ night. I give it 3* due to the noisy hall room doors slamming, we heard the conversations & heavy feet in the room above us, our room door lock didn't work, and they have no complimentary breakfast. We probably won't return to this location...

"Friendly Staff"

22/12/2015

We were most impressed with the staff. The group at the front desk and members of the housekeeping crew went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again if I'm back in the area.

"Very nice stay."

5
21/12/2015

The hotel is pretty, clean and comfortable. The staff are very nice and helpful. They had a little red tent in the lobby and a Santa Claus for kids to take pictures with; An extra that was very nice and welcoming. I had a room with a water view and there were white lights on the trees outside. I really liked that. Peaceful and beautiful.

"Pet and people friendly"

17/12/2015

Who in their right mind would put a Best Western on such a beautiful beach? What a view! We had a ground floor room with French doors that opened on to a beautiful lawn and the beach, the Bichons loved it! Service was friendly, fast and made you feel like family. Totally recommend this place... Only $20 per night for pets, the Oxford Suites wanted $25 per pet per night... and they are right next to each other... Easy choice on where to stay in Silverdale.

"Nice place but needs a touch of home."

14/12/2015

Bar/lounge needs to open erlier and stay open later. A lot of travelers who are here for the shipyard work late shifts. I was only able to enjoy the complementary drink once and then it closed immediately after. (bartender might have earned more tips /revenue) Also if the bar/lounge could use a homier atmosphere with lounge type seating i.e sofas, pillows, coffee tables, club seating w/ gaming table; and less stowic table- chair dining. You have nice fireplace that could be utilized with this type of seating. Families may even enjoy during the day offer a soda/ juice bar for other choices. People have a hard time findng things to do during the day in Silverdale. Staying home (in the hotel) on a rainy day playing board games with a hot drink sounds good to almost anyone.. Thanks for the time. T.A.S.

"Charming hotel in a convenient location"

14/12/2015

My husband, mother-in-law, and I recently stayed here during a trip to check out real estate in the area. We were greeted with a smile at check-in, the cleaning staff were friendly, and the front-desk staff were very pleasant. The hotel's location was excellent (right on the water) and the hotel itself was clean and in good condition. Free parking and wi-fi were included with our room. Weekly hotel events were a fun suprise to our stay. We checked out the live music playing in the lounge, and it was surprisingly good. My only disappointment was that breakfast was not included, which led to a small mishap (although it was later cleared-up by the onsite manager). The person that checked us in told me that it would be included so the three of us had oatmeal for breakfast (options were limited). After finishing our oatmeal, I was asked to pay for it by the dining room staff- to which I told them I was under the impression that it was part of our reservation. I ended up being directed to the front desk, where I discussed the issue with managment. They were sorry I was misinformed and we ended up not paying for it. Although I felt that the dining staff did not handle the situation in the best manner, the on-site mangager was extremely nice and I was satisfied with the resolution. I would definitely stay here again, but don't recommend the breakfast!

"great dog friendly property"

09/12/2015

I really appreciated being able to access the room from the outside so that I could walk my dogs without taking them through the lobby. The beds were excellent, room cleanliness was exceptional. The breakfast was great. The desk staff were very competent and friendly.

"Good Location"

4
09/12/2015

This is a good location about 3 miles drive to where i need to work. Clean rooms. There are a lot of restaurant in the area you don't even need to drive, they're within walking distance. And if you get bored there is a park you can walk to and enjoy.

"Power Outage Stay"

5
05/12/2015

Our power was out for a couple of days, so we drove 16 miles to this hotel. It is like our 2nd home (due to numerous outages and it's a nice getaway). We go there often to enjoy the waterfront views and the local musicians that play in the Martini Lounge. Most of the staff know us and are super friendly and courteous. They have a very nice breakfast buffet and the hamburgers and jalepeno poppers are pretty good too.

"BW Silverdale Beach hotel"

4
05/12/2015

A good get away from it all hotel with a nice sea view, helpful employees, indoor pool and better than average breakfast. However it was full of families with kids on the weekend which made it difficult to find a free table at breakfast time and kept the pool full.

"Group stay at BW Silverdale"

4
04/12/2015

Stayed with our hockey team for a tournament. Best Western was great with the whole group, no complaints. Rooms were clean, location was good, lots of free parking. Used breakfast room a couple of times, average breakfast including make your own waffles, eggs, sausage or bacon depending on the day, fruit (apples, oranges, bananas), oatmeal, muffins, coffee/juice. Lobby had two fireplaces with seating around them so there were places for socializing if you are in a group. Good size indoor pool with view out to the ocean which the kids enjoyed. Not far from the mall and close enough to walk to various restaurants.

"Best bayside view"

A one time resident of the area....I can attest to the central local, ease of access, cleanliness, and courtesy you will find at this well appointed Hotel...Staff are friendly, and efficient. I chose to upgrade during my stay to spend our last day in Silverdale with best view...The staff made that change for us hassle free. *We found better breakfast options across the street at IHOP.

This was our second stay at the hotel and will come again. We even had our two little dogs and the hotel is definitely pet friendly. The view is absolutely beautiful from our room and it was easily accessible. The Hotel is close to all kinds of stores and restaurants. Such a warm friendly feeling when I walked into the lobby. Fireplace going with comfortable furniture and friendly employees.

Genie P, General Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Silverdale Beach Hotel, responded to this review
Winter is my favorite time in the PACNORWEST. I know no one is ever supposed to say that because our summers are so beautiful, but I love coming to work everyday with the fireplaces roaring offering a brief respite from the outside gloom. Guests hunker down around them creating the kind of idle chatter that is my favorite in the holiday season. I am glad you too, felt the same home feeling that I feel here. It really is my personal goal for guests to feel at home here versus just staying at a hotel. Have a great one!

"A nice step above basic"

4
30/11/2015

You get the cleanliness, friendly staff and room amenities of the near-$200 hotel at a price just above the rough-bath-towel, no fridge/microwave hotels, but miss the complimentary hot breakfast. A good mid-range experience close to where you want to be.

"Adequate for just a short stay"

29/11/2015

We stayed one night before moving on to another location. This is a no frill budget kinda of stay. Room rate does not come with breakfast. This hotel met our needs to recover from jetlag after 24 long haul flight. Sharis' diner (24hr) is within walking distance if you do not want to drive. Otherwise, plenty of other choices available in silverdale near kitsap mall if you plan to drive.

"Poor service"

25/11/2015

My wife recently stayed at your facility. She set the thermostat for 65 degrees. The whole night the room stayed at a sweltering 76 degrees. My wife continually awakened in a pool of sweat. The next morning when she went to shower there was only cold water. My wife has fibromyalgia so the cold water made her body hurt even more. The reason we rent a hotel room is for a comfortable place to sleep and a warm shower. Neither of our expectations were met. She could not imagine paying for another miserable night like the one she had at your facility. Next time she needs to stay in Silverdale she will consider sleeping in her car. All the girl at the front desk upon her check out could say was "sorry." She does want to let you know that the young man that checked her in was awesome. He made her feel so welcome, telling her about the amenities of your facility. He is an asset to your company.

"Amazing one-night stay"

We had a water-view King room on the third floor. The room was tight very tight but comfortable for our one-night stay; it had all the amenities needed and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in in a long time. Our view was incredible and we were able to watch the sunrise in the morning (see pictures). Our stay was covered by a gift certificate and they must have wanted us to have a romantic retreat because we were greeted with rose petals, chocolate and Champagne making the stay even more memorable. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, especially if you are traveling to Sea-Tac, there is a shuttle that departs from this location which saves you the headache of having to drive yourself to/from the airport.

"Amazing Weekend Getaway"

It was our first time in Washington and my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was amazing from the front desk staff to the breakfast ladies. They were just a delight to interact with! Although, this was not our primary destination, the hotel was very close to everything. The view from our bedroom was awesome - getting to experience the sunrise before we left was just magnificent. Thank you the staff that helped my boyfriend fulfill his surprise for me - I was extremely happy. We were sad that we had to leave but will definitely come back. Thank you again!

very good for the price. Needs a Windows update on the PC to print out boarding passes. Otherwise, no complaints. Right on Puget Sounds, close to restaurants and Kitsap Mall, lots of parking. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Buffet was good $7.95

"Great get-a-way"

19/11/2015

We spent the night on an overnight get-a-way. Bed was so comfortable, and check in staff was personable and helpful. We have stayed here a few times in the past and always find everything clean and comfortable. We will stay here again when in the area. The only complaint at all is that the bathroom is quite small.

"Amazing Staff, Okay Rooms"

17/11/2015

The staff at this hotel went out of their way to make our stay amazing. We stayed for my sister's wedding, and they went out of their way to make every detail perfect. The rooms were only okay - small, and poorly noise-proofed. The staff made up for the room quality.

"Very pleasant experience!"

17/11/2015

From the moment we walked in the front door, we could tell this was the right choice for our overnight stay. The front desk greeting and check in was very pleasant and quick. We had our little dog with us, and almost immediately we were talking like old friends and their pets, rather than a business transaction. Our first floor room was perfect for a pet and it didn't feel like a run of the mill hotel room. Clean, appropriately furnished and comfortable. The rest of the hotel was equally pleasant. Very well taking care of. Clean and appealing. Even though this was a Sunday evening, in early November, it was obvious the party in the event room was handled equally well. Everything seemed to be well in hand and we were not made to feel that we were in their way or we in theirs. Noise was not an issue. Overall, a Very pleasant experience.

"Vacation with friends"

16/11/2015

I've stayed at this location several times and I have never been disappointment with the level of service that I get from the staff. The lounge had some great live music playing that night and the food & drink was delicious. The only con that I found this time around was during the weather we've been having (Washington is renown for being rainy) they don't have a covered porch/patio area for smokers. This isn't something I'd dock them for, since they are technically a non-smoking establishment.

"Outstanding services"

Overall appearance of hotel, front desk area and rooms were great. For military members vouchers were presented for 2 glasses of wine or beer and breakfast for wach night stayed. It was a great experience, staff were polite and courteous, iwould stay here again.

"Public Area Heating Cooling System Just Below My Room"

08/11/2015

I always stay here when I have to go to Silverdale for work. There are good rooms and bad depending on location. This trip I got a balcony room but it was on the restaurant end and had the main heating/cooling system right under the window of my room. Sounded like a freight train continually running past my window. I have had a suite room that was not much better because it was located right next to the elevator and meeting room. This hotel offers a restaurant but no free breakfast.

"Wished it wasnt just an overnight stay :)"

05/11/2015

Stayed overnight at the hotel on Oct27-28, 2015. I transferred to the hotel in lieu of its pickup point for the Kitsap Airporter and I also wanted to get a feel of the hotel. All the same, its to relax one more day before my flight out of WA state. While its just overnight, I'm sending my review in brief: Reservations: I had to place a call to get my reservation. No hassle here. But apparently, when I came the following day to checkin, there was a mix-up of my reservation that booked my stay for Oct28 instead of 27. Rating: Still Good in terms of the no-hassle reservation process and ease of booking. Check-in: As I mentioned above, upon check-in my reservation for the day wasnt found and I had to explain how the reservation was done via phone (no confirmation number was given so it was a problem to verify with the FrontDesk and their system). But the other lady at the FrontDesk checked further and found my reservation was on the next day and made a fixup and I was able to check-in. Rating: Excellent! Well at least I wasnt denied check-in and they acceded to my claim despite no confirmation number to vouch for. That was really nice of them to address the oversight without going thru any blame games. Room: Yey, its the same as in the website pictures! Who wouldnt love to be in room as advertised, no mis-expectations here. I did like my room, its quaint and well-appointed! I noticed immediately the room was cute (ie. small but not really congested or boxed in), or it could be the bed was big. I didnt mind anyways, it suited me just right; the fact I can move around the room is sufficient enough. And the room is CLEAN too! :) Love the bed, enjoyed the TV and the bath is functional--its just right in my opinion, well maybe small but then again, I'm not going to stay in the bath all day right? :) In general, the room is sufficient to give you the comfort of your stay. I took the cityview room and its all good too. Enjoyed the cable channels being extensive enough for binge watching and just relax the day away. Did I mention the hotel lobby is gorgeous? Okay it is! I liked the elegant, homey feel of the interiors and the decors really made me feel in a posh cottage resort. Rating: Excellent! Nothing to fault with my room, I did sleep well and relaxed my day away! Food: Unfortunately I wasnt able to eat anything at the restaurant. Maybe next time I will try it. Rating: N/A Service: I mainly spoke with the Front Desk people considering my short stay and they are all but polite and courteous. The guy at the FrontDesk (I didnt get his name) didnt mind when I requested to breakdown my 100 dollar bill (I needed small bills). He also bid me goodbye when he left the hotel while I was waiting for the shuttle. Rating: EXCELLENT! Nothing to fault there. Didnt have any bad experience or unprofessional handling. The FrontDesk people are very easy to talk to and approachable. Checkout: Checkout was no hassle either. My invoice was readily available and I just needed to sign. Rating: Excellent! I would have loved to stay longer at the Silverdale Beach Club in WA. Its direct view of Dyes Inlet is amazing much more so having it as a direct backyard from the hotel lobby. The location is strategic still, a bit of walk to get to the road but again, walking isnt an issue. Its close to get what you need and where to go. The hotel serves its purposes and maybe next time I will come for summer and see for myself how its like. I will come back for sure!

From beginning to end, a very pleasant stay. Fair price, great service, clean, quality. Nicest BW hotel I have stayed in...Good location with water views. Extra charge for breakfast was only negative.

This was a great Hotel to stay at in the Silverdale area, We had work in the Port Ludlow area and this was great to HQ from. Place was immaculate. Rooms quiet, not a thing to complain about. The morning breakfast buffet was ok but for really hungry guys, walk across the street to Shari's which is like a Denny's. Parking lot is not ideal for folks towing a trailer or for large RVs - be advised.

"Best staycation ever!"

Grateful for the pleasant staff, beautiful location on Silverdale beachfront, and clean, well-appointed room. It made hosting family such a pleasant experience. The pool and hot tub have a breathtaking view of Dye's Inlet.

I only live about 10 miles from this hotel. we were staying there .because.they were having a halloween party, which turned out to be a flop, but we were very plesantly surprised withe the room. small cozy, fireplace, jetted tub, walkout patio, comfy bed. indoor pool. will go there again just to feel like a mini getaway!

"Nice exerience in Silverdale Beach"

30/10/2015

Very good vallue for weekend visit to Silvedale/ Paulsbo area. Weather was windy but comforable temperatures. Hotel is right on the water. My wife, daughter and grand daughter loved sitting by the comfy fireplace in the lobby and walking along the beach. There was a bonfire outside by the water in the evening but it had started to drizzle... so we returned to the fireplace. Really nice features...very pet-friendly but we had no pets with us.

"Beautiful, close to amenities, friendly staff"

28/10/2015

Love the location, make sure when you book you specify what type of room you want because some have a horrible view of the roof of the bar...plus you get the hum of all the ventilation equipment. Staff is great, rooms are clean, coffee is good.

"It was okay"

26/10/2015

I will start with the front desk staff was wonderful! Super friendly and they let us have early check in! I was positive based off of them that the stay would be perfect! But the room was pretty average, comfortable enough but nothing too exciting. Honestly, the reason this is getting a 3 star is because of the breakfast. It is a typical hotel, self serve breakfast but you have to pay for it. And the breakfast staff weren't super friendly. They kind of seemed annoyed that you would come in and interrupt their conversation. I would be more than okay to pay for a breakfast if it wasn't your typical continental type of breakfast.

"Needs Improvement"

25/10/2015

My AARP bargain was no bargain. "Balcony" was a foot off the ground with a "view" of the parking lot. Front desk bumped us up to a room with a beautiful view and strong smells of cigarettes and room deodorizer. We were then bumped up to very nice room with view. Later discovered sink did not drain, but we had no desire to move again. Noisy doors woke us in morning.

"Horrible Stay!"

3
25/10/2015

I knew it was going to be one of those nights when I checked in and they had me in a regular King Room instead of the King Suite with Water View and Spa Bath I had reserved. They switched me to a king suite... which just happened to be across the hall from a couple of rooms occupied, they later told me, by high school girls' Volleyball teams. The running and screaming and slamming of doors went on for hours, late into the night, even after multiple complaints to the front desk staff. It started up again at 6am. This was a miserable night and left me exhausted for the following days meeting.

"Pleasant friendly hotel"

This was my first visit to Silverdale and we enjoyed our visit. The hotel was clean, the staff great (very friendly and helpful) aand the beds were comfortable. Very relaxing and good water view from balcony.

21/10/2015

This hotel has a lovely welcoming foyer with a fireplace, cheerful/helpful desk staff and a great location right on the water. The food and amenities were all excellent and the beds very comfortable. My room was very clean as were all other aspects of the hotel. I did not use the pool so I cannot speak to that. Good location within walking distance to Starbucks, several restaurants and a supermarket and the airport shuttle stops there. Dog friendly and great water views. Awesome place to stay!!!

"Great Hotel"

21/10/2015

Exceptional staff during check in, throughout the stay and checkout. Great views and location in center of town. Within walking distance to everything you would need! Only downside is the very small bathrooms in the rooms, but overall a great experience.

"Business trip"

20/10/2015

The hotel is located directly on the sound and if you get a room with a view it is absolutely incredible. They have a fire pit, ability to walk on the beach, stroll along a pathway and they are within walking distance of several restaurants and shopping. This makes it easier after a stressful day working to be able to come back to this. The nachos at the bar are absolutely fabulous! The beds were comfortable but the pillows not so much. It looks like a great hotel to come to in the summer with family. My trip was for business but if I am in the area to explore I will definitely stay here. Make the time to go to the Poulsbo Bakery!!!

"Enjoyed the guest amenities"

17/10/2015

Pool, hot tub and sauna provided a refreshing break from a long week. Took in the band at the lounge - drinks and food were good. However, recommend asking the staff to assist with getting a room not directly over the lounge if you are someone who likes to go to bed early.

"Great getaway with a water view"

17/10/2015

We were looking for a quiet, relaxing break. The price was a winner. We only had to walk downstairs for breakfast or drinks in the lounge. It was nice to walk along the shore and get refreshed. Took lots of pictures from the balcony of the storm that swept through and the great sunrises. Plenty of eating options, some within easy walking distance.

"Very Nice"

I stayed in March and I'm sorry to see I didn't review this hotel. It was beautiful. The rooms are small, but well appointed and the price is very economical. Thoroughly enjoyed walking the dog on this beautiful beachfront, and truly appreciate pets being welcomed into this great site.

"Excellent Stay"

05/10/2015

Two nights with a small golf group in late September - everything was excellent. Check-in, bar and restaurant service - all very good. Rooms at ground level with a view of the water were fabulous. Hotel is convenient to golf courses in the area (Gold Mountain and Trophy Lake - also excellent). Walking distance to restaurants and pubs.

"Only one complaint"

4
05/10/2015

As with other hotels these days, the beds are too high. Otherwise it is a comfortable, clean room. The breakfast buffet is nothing special and costs extra. If you don't order it at check-in, you will pay more for the buffet.

"Good bed option in Silverdale"

3
05/10/2015

If you have to go to Silverdale WA there are no brand name hotel properties where you can count on a decent to good bed and bedding experience. This Hotel had an excellent bed and bedding option with firm but soft mattress and simple enough bedding that gave me a great nights sleep. However, while clean it was one smallest bathrooms possible and very tight manuevering.

"Nice View & Location"

4
03/10/2015

This is a nice hotel in a nice location. The staff is very caring. My only complaint is the size of the bathroom in my room. It was much too small to be comfortable, especially when having to share with my wife.

"Overall, won't be back."

01/10/2015

The Good: 1. Can't say enough good things about the staff! 2. Location is convenient and some nice views of the Sound. 3. Fair price and free parking 4. I dig the shampoo and soap dispensers in the sink area and shower. 5. Did I mention the awesome staff? The Average: 1. Continental breakfast 2. Decor (but 2 nice gas fireplaces) 3. Pet friendly ( not my thing but I get it, some people bring fido along) 4. Bedding 5. Shower was luke warm The Bad. 1. If you come in spring or fall, be prepared to freeze or bake for half the day. The HVAC has to be manually switched from heat to AC (and back) in the room by the maintenance person. It works great for which ever you have it on but don't plan on turning the AC on in the afternoon when the sun beats down on your room. 2. The room I was in did not have power near the bed side. I don't like nor trust hotel room clocks and prefer to use my phone and charge it over night. Impossible until I asked for and received in short order an extension cord (which meant I had to move the bed to plug it in.) 3. Cable TV. Limited number of channels and not intuitive to change channel short of power surfing the whole dial.. Too many QVC type and talky channels. 4. Housekeeping. Hair on the bathroom floor that wasn't mind. Minimal room clean up during the day. The maid left a poorly made bed, obviously didn't wipe anything down or vacuum. They did however take the towel I left hanging on the hook to reuse and try to be a little greener. The Abysmal: 1. "Free High Speed Internet" ok, it was free but that's it. On the rare occasion I could actually log in, the speed was extremely limited. I called tech support. They said there were 60 users on the system and it was causing delays. 60, really? The tech also told me (after I ran a speed test) the hotel throttles the upload and download at 2MB. That's hardly high speed. My Verizon phone was downloading at 14 MB. Since I was here on business, Internet access is an imperative. I ended up using my own hot spot and eating into my data plan because I couldn't log on to check emails. I would give the overall experience a C to C- grade. Not enough to chase me away but certainly too many other hotel choices around to put up with the aggravation.
