Bed sheets were dirty, the floor was soaking wet, the bathroom had a layer of mist covering it, and the bed was damp. I also had no towels. When calling the front desk, all I was offered was a room change. I stopped here for a rest since I was moving from PA to FL and I was extremely disappointed, I would've rather stayed at a broken down motel. There was also only one person working there for the whole hotel. The only good thing was the guy working at the Denny's attached to the hotel, he was wonderful and seemed to be running the whole place alone.

A last minute decision (too far from our job), but another hotel had us running away! We decided to drive the distance to stay at a BW. This Location is a Ma/Pa set up with an attached Denny's. Check-in was quick and the lady was friendly! The room offered 2 dbl beds that were comfy. 3 pillows each bed. The TV worked well (weather permitting) as did the WiFi. The A/C worked very well. The wiring between the TV and fridge, if touched, made the TV go out. Not exactly safe or up to code. The bathroom was a tub/shower combo with toilet while the vanity/sink was outside the bathroom. Everything was clean and we had 3 sets of towels. The only "issue" was the paint peeling from the walls from excessive moisture, in the bathroom. An easy fix, one day max...something to consider fixing! Room #137. Nothing to keep someone from the room, just something that is so easy to fix....yet you can see it's been this way awhile. A few damaged pieces of furniture, but nothing that hindered our stay. Overall the room was clean! If you don't smoke, anyone smoking outside your room, you will smell it. Something to take note of. Need to know: 2 floors - No Elevator! No guest laundry! Plenty of room for truck/trailer parking. Denny's onsite. A lot of food options within walking distance. We would consider staying again if in the area. The minor issues in the room doesn't deter us, but they may for some. Not exactly BW standards, but we were comfortable.

The rooms appear clean and well maintained,, it is a double story building with no elevator, there is a Denny's restaurant onsite. however, the hotel serves a very much improved good hot breakfast. It has no guest laundry, it has a large parking area. What could be considered a drawback is it is about 10mile to Savannah Town. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance to the hotel..

We spent a night here on our way to Virginia. We booked ahead and got a good room at a decent rate with breakfast which was quite good. There is a Denny's as well in the building. There are many restaurants nearby.

We needed a quick place to stay overnight. We stopped in and the lobby looked beautiful. We know the rooms are never as nice as the lobby, but we figured it would be decent. They definitely saw me coming. I ended up paying 118.00 for a 2 double bed room. It was cramped. The beds were uncomfortable. I started the following morning just as tired as I was when I went to sleep. To top it off a roach crawled across my son's bed. When we checked out, we were not even asked how our stay was. Thumbs down for sure.

Very nice place to stay great location next to 95 gas stations restaurants plenty of shopping many things to do I've stayed here many times and I've never been disappointed the rooms are of good quality and very well priced what more can I say.

This hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Two times we had to have the Manager come to our room and reprogram our door entry and then when we were leaving the door entry wasn't working again but we left at that point.

If you're looking for a pet friendly hotel, this is it. And it shows. First, it's not a hotel but a motel. I wouldn't walk barefoot on the carpets. Air conditioner was leaking from 2nd floor onto walkway underneath. You could see daylight through the door. This will not be a repeat stop by any means.

Another older style hotel but this one is clean and inviting. The grounds are kept up well. There is an outdoor pool which looked really nice however, we did not use it. The room itself was clean and your standard layout. The bed was very comfortable. I was disappointed at the water pressure in the shower. We chose this hotel due to location & price. It is less than half the cost of the hotels in the historic district. The drive is 15 minutes at most. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. There are many restaurants in the area and close to the interstate.

Rooms need renovation. Chipped places in bathroom , baseboard in bedroom not dusted. Sister's room had roach. Pizza box on ground in front of room two doors down when we checked in and still there when we checked out. Convenient location,but don't think we'll stay there again.

Best Western. Good brand. I now disagree. Price is right, clean-yes good ac and tv. Double beds only, no rooms available on bottom floor at 5pm Friday night. Lots of motels around, do not believe it's full. Few vehicles in parking lot. Clerk did not give us a map of complex, and did not answer phone when I called to find where the ice machine was located, had to search. Found one for three buildings. Not much lighting in rooms. Freezer door would not close and needed to be defrosted.

I would rate 0 stars if I could. Carpet is dirty, walls are stained with some kind of mystery dark red stuff, hand prints on all mirrors, room smells so bad, spiders in corner, doors are covered in gunk, found hair in bed and in bed side table, like I could go on and on. The pictures don't even justify how disgusting this is. Also I couldn't take enough photos of how gross it is not one aspect of this room was cleaned. Please don't stay here.... nothing will ever make us stay here again.

Convenient to shopping and Historic district. Price was reasonable. Clean, comfortable and pretty quite. Be aware it is in flight path of air base, however the flights usually stop around 9:00pm. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. We got to hotel early, they were able to get us in before the 3:00 check in. Would definitely stay again.

I am not sure how the Best Western was rated over 3 stars. Lobby area smelled and appeared dirty. Room was smelly and dirty as well. Toilet didn't work properly. Just totally gross. Definitely needs updating.

The room is great and more important very clean. No road noise. The lobby was welcoming, bright, clean and well staffed. It is attached to a very good restruant with great food at a reasonable price. The Free Breakfast has everything! Great Staff.

Smelly and dirty room infested with bed bugs. I've backpacked thru 5 continents on very tight budgets and never came across a more deplorable excuse for human habitation. I've honestly slept in cleaner horse stables in Bolivia. It's true, you get what you pay for.. but when all the other hotels are booked you take what you can get. I should have slept in my car. This Best Western is a medieval and unsanitary excuse for lodging.

Dear Joe c Please know that we are not making excuses but Bed Bugs are not a cleanliness issue, they are brought in by a carrier, possibly a previous guest. Once notified of any suspect situation, we take aggressive action to remedy the problem. The room was covered with animal pee spots. Having no pets, we were put in what looked like a pet friendly room. Room was suppose to be for handicapped person. Hotel used an insert for a low toilet. Air conditioning was noisy and had bad air flow. Also had no Kleenex in room had to use toilet paper to blow nose.

Rooms were very old and in need of a complete updating. Doors from outside do not fit snugly in door opening. Light shining around door. Cleanliness is a real question. Location was very good but there are many other hotels in close proximity.

Room was very dated. Popcorn ceiling was peeling at the joints. Walls had patches and paint was peeling. Shower had no pressure at all but the sink pressure was to much. The internet was slow so trying to watch movies was hard and sending emails sometimes failed.

"Happy Find ~ Better than I expected"

A surprising find. Exterior was appealing so I decided to stop. Check-in was quick and the front desk ladies were very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Has a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I enjoyed it enough to stay a second time while passing through on my way back home. I'm giving it a 5 rating based on the type of motel it is. I'm not comparing it to higher $$ accommodations. The rate was very inexpensive with AAA, the property was appealing, the rooms were clean and the employees were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very accommodating. Check in was very professionally completed. Check out was made easy. Room was very accommodating to my wheelchair. Accessibility to shower was easy. Breakfast in the morning was well prepared with helpful staff. I have stayed in this facility before and will stay again.

Excellent property. HUGE... The front desk staff was great. The woman doing the breakfast was very lazy...kept watching TV while the coffee kept running out. The breakfast was good, but a few things... might want to use larger cardboard cups... the cups were super small. The food was good though...but might be nice to light a fire under the person doing it.

The hotel was decent, but not in as good a shape as one would want. Denny's needs to step up its game. Service was lousy and food was undercooked. I do not know if I will stay at this Best Western again or not and it has ALWAYS been one of our faves.

Not the cleanest bathroom; breakfast was good though. Front desk not very friendly. Location was very good because there were many restaurants to walk to and nice sidewalks around. Some of the lights didn't work in the room.

This is our go to hotel when visiting our daughter at college. Price is right and not too far from all the touristy stuff my wife likes. Not too far from Tybee Island, and downtown Savannah, so easy to get to restaurants and the coast but still far enough out to be priced right

I was put in room 143 to begin with - DON'T go there. It looked like someone had tried and probably succeeded in breaking into the room. The wall next to door was cracked, there was a wide gap between door and wall, the security lock wouldn't engage and the top clasp lock was breaking off the door. Then there was a clear opening under the door to the outside. Next room, 126, is a handicapped room which is fine. Yes, I noticed it is right next to maid room when I got here at night. One would think they would be a little courteous at very early morning hours vs. standing what seemed like literally outside my door telling their life's woes in very loud voices. I personally like the beds though, as they are firm but yet have a soft top. The smaller pillows are way too squishy for my taste. Larger refrigerator worked well and kept things cold.

Spent one night at this hotel on my trip from Florida with two dogs. The visit was great. The room was fine. I appreciated the room location - it was somewhat isolated. I appreciated the green space to walk the dogs. The breakfast was good and the location of the motel left a number of options for carry out dinner in the vicinity.

The Best Western Savannah Gateway is our regular hotel when traveling up and down I-95 and/or visiting Savannah. It is conveniently located near I-95 Exit 94. It is well maintained with a friendly and professional staff. There is a Denny's restaurant attached to the building. Applebee's, Ruby Tuesday and Houlihan's are within a few minutes walking distance.

"Not a good Best Western"

Location appeared to be good.Problem is too many hotels at that exit and too few restaurants. So dinner is very difficult. Waiting times always. Also this hotel needs refurbishing urgently. If you are used to Best Western this hotel will disappoint

"Denny's was the best thing about this hotel"

I normally get along okay with the Best Western brand, but not this one. We arrived late and thought, "it sure is nice to have a Denny's attached." That was where the niceties ended. We got to our room and the TV wouldn't work. We had to have someone come and "rig" it or press something in the back to get it to turn on. The floors failed the white sock test, miserably. My daughter dirtied up her socks in less then 5 minutes. I almost threw them in the garbage. One pet peeve I have is a bath mat in the bathtub. Those things are a breeding ground for fungus and/or athlete's foot, especially if you don't sanitize your hotel rooms. One of the towels even had hair on it. I hate being reminded that someone else was in that room. Another hair of a different color in the bed didn't inspire confidence. The bathroom door wouldn't close all of the way because the top hinge looked like it might have been forced open to the point that the wood barely held onto it. The good news is the beds were comfortable and there was space to move around. No bugs, thank goodness. At $117 per night, I don't care what time of year it is or how desperate you are, this hotel isn't worth it. Stop by the Denny's and enjoy a nice meal, but move on to another hotel.

One of BW's older properties, but very well run. Clean room and comfortable bed. Pet friendly, with a variety of places to eat within walking distance. The manager, Chris Patel, was very helpful in making sure I got a pet-friendly room at the next BW on my trip.

When we travel we try to stay in Brst Western Hotels. We are Gold Crown members, which is their travel club card. We are very rarely disappointed, but this was the exception. This is a very old motel, which is advertised as a hotel and is in desperate need of repair and updating. Upon arrival to our room, we noted the door frame was damaged, we found the room very dated, the carpet very old and although wall to wall, the carpet was wrinkled. There was a very heavy scent of room freshener, so much so we had to leave the door open for a good length of time. Upon checking the bed, we noted the top sheet was soiled...I called the front desk and immediately a staff member arrived and changed the sheet and apologized. We took a walk to the pool only to discover assorted trash scattered about the pool deck along with what appeared to be two feral cats. The mattress in this room, 152, was very hard.....the tub had an old brown rubber mat, but the tub and toilet as well as the sink were clean. The breakfast area was clean and although the breakfast was well presented, it was below the usual Best Western standard. I wanted to give this motel a , "POOR", rating but I accidentally tapped the third circle and the site doesn't allow me to change the rating. We plan on traveling through this area at least a couple times a year, but this Best Western is off our travel stays. I would suggest to the management of Best Western to spontaneously inspect this property.

You only get one chance to make a good impression... We won't be back. Room is old, main door barely opens because of scraping carpet, sheets look very tired, mattress is terrible, pillows are like over stuffed marshmallows. Internet connection is very poor and is unprotected. I guess you get what you pay for. My mistake.

This is a Good location with easy access to Highway 95. Good selection of restaurant around, good value for the price, friendly and efficient staff, good continental breakfast. Plenty of parking if you have a trailer.

The place was clean and the breakfast goes past good. The grounds was well maintain and the interior was dated but functional. Gave it a second try because of the bike last time. We checked parking lots for of bunch of bikes. Checked bed for bugs and they were a no show. Check in was good.

Nice that it was right off of 95. Staff was friendly and polite. We did not get a welcome bag which I expected since we were BW Gold members. Breakfast room was nice and spacious, but the bkf. pastries were dry. The did not have hazelnut nor French vanilla coffee creamers like other BW. They did not have blueberry waffles like another BW. I would still recommend and would come here en route to FL since it is convenient.

Where do I start? This was a dog friendly room with direct outside access. Sketchy. I did not expect fancy but what we got was nasty. Door going in looks like it had been broken into and very difficult to open/close. Big crack, you could see outside. Dirty. Could smell bad oder when air turned on. Corners in bath, around air conditioning unit and carpet. And the lamp shade had been burned from light bulbs. Old, old electrical! Coffeemaker was filthy, didn't even touch! Pictures make it look better than it was. Breakfast had moldy apple.

We stayed in this Best Western 1 night. The room was not clean. I took pictures with my phone. When we showed them to the young lady that checked us out, she turned her head and said "disgusting". We had been on the road all day and were too tired to look for another place. We kept our socks on when ever we were out of the bed. The sheets were clean and the room quiet. We would never stay there again. Just wanted to warn others. One night stay on Feb 9.

"Disgusting, sketchy hotel"

I dont even know where to begin to describe my stay at this hotel. First, I was shocked to find that this was more like a motel and not a hotel. The doors to the rooms were on the outside of the building, which always makes me feel unsafe. second, the room was flithy. Dirty marks on the mirror, the toilet had not be scrubbed in weeks, cracked tiles in the bathrooms, filthy walls, cigarette burns in the bedding (in a non-smoking room). Even the outdoor areas were dirty. There was a pile of chex mix in the landscaping all weekend that no one bothered to clean up. Third, numerous feral cats on the property that would wake you up at night fighting. Fourth, outdated and dangerous looking electronics in the rooms. The TV was fuzzy and the lamps looked like they were 20 years old. Fifth, unfriendly, rude staff. The woman at the front desk was of no help when I complained to her and the manager never returned me calls! Sixth, unsanitary breakfast area. The area was not clean and the food looked old and inedible. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This property is right off of I95. Good value for the money. Rooms are extremely clean, beds are comfortable. Staff is very friendly. Good Breakfast has a variety of hot and cold items. Rooms could use an upgrade but the place is spotless. This was our third stay at this property.

Breakfast staff very rude and yells at elderly, children and those that do not speak English. Carpet in rooms very dirty and mold in the shower. Toilet and fridge did not work but were quickly addressed. Front desk staff and staff for the rooms were very professional and polite.

Entrance was cleared of any ice, we had the pleasure of running into the ice storm and had to stop traveling. The room was clean and quiet. Check-in and check out was fast and the personnel was polite and helpful.

This isn't my favorite hotel. It was run down, the door had a fairly large amount of cold air coming in at the seams and it felt very outdated. It's a great stay if you're driving on the interstate and need a place to stay.

Checked into the hotel room and the cards did not work at all. They had been changed three times and the heating unit made terrible noises which the front desk was notified about and nothing done. Electrical outlets would not work to charge toothbrushes or hair dryer. Front desk notified and nothing was done. Absolutely horrible service. Will never stay at a Best Western hotel again.

"A Better "Best Western", but Not the "Best"."

This is another great example of why there should be 1/2-star ratings. We would rate the 3-1/2. THUMBS UP! 1. The kitchen lady. Hard-working, helpful, friendly, patient despite a lazy helper and thoughtless guests, she never said a negative thing, but helped my wife make a waffle while standing in a puddle of syrup because someone didn't turn off the dispenser, while her "assistant" leaned up against the wall and did nothing. This lady deserves a day at the spa, or a bonus (my wife gave her something by way of thanks and to help turn around a less-than-wonderful start to the new year). 2. The beds were very comfortable, and we both slept well. 3. Although older units, the A/C - heater worked perfectly to keep the temperature comfortable despite below-freezing temps. 4. The room had every basic amenity we needed (YES! It even had a working clock!) 5. Adequate variety of working TV channels 6. Helpful and friendly front-desk service at both check-in and check-out (but this should be a "given"). 7. Much better than the usual "continental" breakfast. 8. Great location. Although a little far from the city center, and quite far from Tybee Island, the trade-off in price was well worth it to us on a long New Year's weekend. THUMBS DOWN: 1. see comment #1 above, and take action so you don't discourage and lose a hard-working employee who understands her job and the way to treat your guests! 2. Two of the 3 days, a lot of the food had run out before my wife got any (eggs, especially). Given that I was showing up at 0700, and she wasn't getting there until about 0900, one would expect a lot of the food to be gone, but not all of the eggs, sausage, yogurt, creamer/ milk.... 3. The freezer in the room doesn't freeze! HUGE pet peeve since I depend on frozen bottles of water every day to keep sensitive items quite cold. 4. Shower pressure was weak while the sink pressure kept blasting water all over us. Annoying, but we wouldn't have brought it up if it was the only issue. The bottom line? Yes, we would return, but expecting to find some improvement, and yes, we would recommend Best Western Savannah Gateway.

Wonderful staff at a hotel in dire need of a major rehab. The room smelled of solvent, noisy HVAC clunking and banging every fifteen minutes. Broken tub drain (parts on the floor next to tub) and a sink that sprayed from a corroded faucet. The bed had a large lump in the center that moved if you pushed it. Cold breakfast in a cold room. We wore our coats and nuked the food to make it warm. Door deadbolt was broken. It was clean, so don't blame the maids.

We stayed one night in room 154 (chose this location because dog friendly). Nice if you are booking a kennel, but this place is not for people. Rooms are tired and not very clean (bordering on the dirty). We had the joy of finding somebody's used boxer shorts on the back of the bathroom door. Even the TV was in a strange place. As a rule, we like Best Western, but this place was really bad. Someone else commented about the smell in their room ... that is completely accurate. They seem to try and sanitize by spraying some kind of deodorizer. You are hit with the odor upon walking in, it really is unpleasant. There are many alternatives in this complex (Holiday Inn next door looked much better, we will check if they take dogs or not for the return trip home). Do not stay here, this place is awful, shame on you Best Western!!!

Originally booked a two-night stay, but checked out after one night. This is really an old motel. Bathrooms are tiny and in dire need of an update. I didn't feel safe at this hotel at all. The staff were friendly enough and didn't make a fuss when checkout occurred. I would imagine it's a regular occurrence.

Hotel is located off a major highway with plenty of places to eat and relax. The hotel offers a simple breakfast and if you are interested in something else, Dennys restaurant is next door. The pool wasn't used, however; is well maintained.

I had checked in the hotel on 24th November,2017. Trusting the brand I booked 2 rooms,but sadly never expected cockroaches in the room, really bad experience and icing on top, had FREE breakfast which resulted in food poisoning. I would never trust this hotel neither suggest any one again.

We had reserved a room at another hotel and were told when we arrived that the room we had requested was occupied by customers who had extended there stay several times. We cancelled and went to BW where Jenny on the front desk treated us like royalty. Rate incl pet fee was less than the "pets stay free" place we had reserved. Room was great. The route to the breakfast area was torturous encountering several locked doors on the way but the food was good

Pros: Cheap (Booked through a 3rd party), Great Access to I-95 and a Denny's in the lobby. Cons: Everything else (Room 241). I had a room with two double beds (Coil/Spring) they weren't comfortable even after a 16hr ride in a pick up truck. The bathroom was filthy both toilet and shower. I killed three roaches throughout the room and there was one on the wall in the closest that was dead. It looked like it had been killed by a prior guest and never cleaned off the wall. The hotel is pet friendly so I don't know if that can contribute to the bugs or if they were brought in by prior guests however, I shouldn't be killing roaches in my hotel room.

Convenient location right off the highway. Recommended if you're looking for pet friendly - rooms were super clean, nicely decorated. Complimentary breakfast and coffee were excellent. So much better than other pet friendly hotels that I've stayed at.

My one night stay at this Best Western was good. Overall clean rooms and friendly staff. Only issue was that our air conditioning did not cool down the room and it's about a 20-25 minute car ride from River Street/ the heart of Savannah. Although the price was right next time i'd pay the extra money to stay in Savannah to save the gas/uber rides from the hotel. There is also a Denny's attached to the hotel therefore you can eat there if you wish. There is also free breakfast, which is just an average hotel breakfast. Staff was readily available to re-stock empty dishes, they also offer almond milk to those who cannot have dairy. I would recommend this hotel for people who want a quick, easy one night stay for a low price.I don't think I would book this hotel for more than one night.

Great value! It is an older property that they are obviously updating, which is a plus. However, the rooms definitely need attention (rugs cleaned, softer pillows, wall plates replaced over sockets, new lamp shades and towels replaced). Staff was very pleasant, professional and helpful. They have location, location, location, FOR SURE! Surrounded by many dining options, stores, etc. Very convenient to 95.

This was the first time staying at the Savannah Gateway, we usually stay at the Central Inn when we are in town, but we wanted to see the difference because the prices were relatively close each time we booked. But after pulling up we were surprised to find the same color scheme and familiar design as the Central Inn, but the on property restaurant was extremely surprising and greatly appreciated.

Ignored some of the negative reviews because of positive experience with Best Western in the past. That was a mistake. This hotel stay was very poor. Room was dirty. Water stains on carpet and ceiling. Cracked lampshades. Mattresses were the most uncomfortable ever, like falling into a black hole. Would not recommend this hotel until they make some major improvements. Not worth the price at all.

Dirty , door did not work, staff not pleasant, breakfast was terrible. There were hairs on the lights along with dust. The floors did not look like they had been properly scrubbed in a long time. Our door only opened partially - I felt it must have been a fire trap.

Standard close to Interstate hotel. Reasonable breakfast area and walking distance to a couple of restaurants for dinner. Pool was closed due to an 'imbalance'. A bit far out of town for the touristy things.

When I first checked in there were bugs on the floor, I chalked this up to the south and went straight to bed after a late check in. Next morning left to sight see. When returned that night there were more bugs and we found them in the bed. At that we decided to leave immediately. I'm still waiting for my refund for the first and only night We stayed. A dead man could show more concern then staff showed when I told them of the bugs in the room and wanting to check out and get my money back. I will never stay at this location again and feel hesitant when booking future Best westerns. I love staying with best western because there quality of stays are always pleasant one but this last visit has left me uneasy about there cleanliness.

Stopped over in Savannah when driving to Melbourne. Great find! Clean spacious rooms. Close to downtown Savannah. Took the Old Trolly ( white one) of Savannah which I would suggest if wanting to see the city and learn a little history. Took morning tour and was back on toad by noon. Worth the time n money. Only thing about location of hotel is that it is adjacent to Hunter AFB. Heard aircraft early during day, but quiet in evening. Easy access on and off I95

The hotel was very clean, breakfast offered a variety of choices, all good. We were mot placed in a second rate room because of our dog. In the past, other hotels have given me a beat up room if I stayed with my dog. Not here! My room was just as nice and comfortable as when I traveled without a pet. They also have a way to make the common objects in the room extra sanitary.

This particular Gateway exit is very busy with multiple hotel selections, gas stations and restaurants. Coming off I-95 from the South, the hotel is across the street on the other side. Traffic was terrible and backed up, so we missed 'seeing' Best Western. We had to drive several miles down the road, until there was a turnaround. Moral of the story, keep your eyes open and don't miss BW. Once there, and checked in, the room was very clean - I mean spotless. The only noise were motorcycles at the nearby hotel. We didn't eat breakfast here as we were ready to leave before it opened. I would stay at BW again, but maybe not at this exit due to very heavy traffic.

I checked in with my dog and was shown a room that was not up to Best Western standards. The lamp shade had mildew/mold on it, light bulbs were missing from one of the lamps, the wall to the left of the front door was cracked about a foot long. Overall, the room looked very tired. The beds, however, were great. Got a comfortable night's sleep. I did request another room and got one only slightly better. I'm a little put out about paying $20.00 more for a room because I have a pet and then getting a less that good quality room for the money. I would much rather pay a $100.00 deposit on a good room and have it returned once I check out after inspection of the room.

The place was clean and the breakfast goes past good. The grounds well maintained and the interior was dated but functional. Denny's is a nice touch that is attached. All staff were friendly. The kicker is that we must have stayed on a bikers weekend because they rode up and down the street most of both nights. Poor people at holiday Inn where most stayed. You would think management at each hotel would call the sheriff but maybe Andy was busy. Will not stay again at same place , we will stay downtown.

Was terribly disappointed, worst stay in my life. Employee at check in was A model employee, Excellent. Hotel in need of repairs. Room had mold and mildew in four locations in room. Hard to breath and really wasn't a restful stay.

Friendly staff. Clean room and a typical BW breakfast! Front desk staff were very friendly. The grounds were nicely groomed and clean. Our stay was Sunday night and Monday night and the hotel was quite without excessive noise.

After a few days fleeing from Hurricane Irma, we decided to sleep in this hotel! The hotel is very clean but left nothing to be desired in the reception area! He had only one very, very angry employee. He did not even look at me, I said good night and he did not answer me and after a long time he answered me! There was only me at the reception because it was late ! never come back! Portuguese: Depois de alguns dias fugindo do furacão Irma, resolvemos dormir neste hotel! O hotel é bem limpo mas deixou a desejar no quesito recepção ! This place really delivered. Very good price, teriffic selection at breakfast, but most importantly a very spacious clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed, a TV with plenty of channels and plenty of hot water in the shower. Any weary traveler would be most happy here.

Convenient to Rt.95 and to Savannah. Easy drive in to Savannah. We feel this is an excellent value. Clean, restaurant on site and a few more within walking distance. Breakfast very good. We stay here on a regular basis and staff is always pleasant and accommodating. We suggest getting a room on the East side of building, away from Rt. 95 traffic noise.

It was a very short stay 12:30 am to 6:30 am. Receptionist was very nice and slept great. Nice breakfast to start the day. I enjoy Best Westerns and stayed at BW in Cary NC when I was in NC, then stayed at BW in Jacksonville on my drive home. I also stay at BW in Rhode Iand on everyone of my trips up there. Thank you

I make my reservations through AAA to Best Western because I have a small dog who is very well behaved. Best Western has the cleanest rooms, one could never tell that a pet had been in the room. That is why I select this motel each time I travel north.

We were heading back to Florida after Hurricane Irma so we were lucky to find room. The staff was very friendly at check in. The room was dated and the AC was terribly noisy. We stayed there because they accept pets and we had our daughters little dog. They do charge a $20 fee per pet. The bed was comfortable and considering that the motel was full of Florida evacuees (with pets) not too noisy.

This hotel is old and dilapidated. Do not waste your money. The walls have holes in them, the bathroom door would not close, air-conditioning was hit and miss in terms of working. Staff were not friendly and could care less if you were staying there or not.

When checking in the young lady at the front desk recommended a local seafood restaurant called the Shell House, located just a few minutes away. Both check in and check out went smoothly - both Front Desk ladies were dressed professionally, had a welcoming attitude, processed my transaction with ease and efficiency. Room was clean, comfortable. Breakfast was good - adequate selection, was hot and fresh.

I usually like Best Western's but this one left a lot to be desired! There was constantly water on the bathroom floor, the A/C didn't cool the room and was very noisy, there was a double rainfall shower which is not convenient for females! When I complained at the desk they said they would look into the problems! The breakfast was ok. We would not return!

This was our first time staying at this location. We were very impressed. Our room was really nice – Room 154. Lots of parking and very quiet. Our room had king bed, mini-fridge, microwave, nice bathroom, large screen TV and free Wi-Fi. They have a Denny's right in the main building and their complimentary breakfast located in a large room at back of main building is fantastic: cheese omelet, sausages, cereals, toast, bagel, biscuits and gravy, juices, coffee, everything needed for breakfast – it was awesome. This hotel is also pet friendly with a charge for your pet. They have a very nice outdoor pool. They also offer free Wi-Fi. Our only complaint – we had no hot water for a shower – the water was not cold but very barely warm. But still, we will definitely stay here again. Location off I-95 is fantastic and there are many restaurants in walking distance. We will definitely stay here again.

Had a one-night stop over between Charlotte and my home in Florida. I chose this property because it was one of the very, very few remaining that offered a smoking room. My room was a bit outdated, but comfortable. The bed seemed a bit soft, but I slept well. The A/C was set at 60 and cranking away but it certainly wasn't that cold; it was very comfortable overnight, though. The refrigerator was sluggish in chilling my bottles of water, not getting cold until the morning (but some ice from the machine solved that problem). The staff was very friendly and courteous. I ate dinner at the attached Denny's, and the service and food there were great. Overall, I was grateful for the smoking convenience, and the price was certainly a value.

We were seduced by its proximity to I-95. Easy on and off. The room we had was old & tired.It smelled musty and the Carpet was beyond help. The whole room needed to be scrubbed and painted. The bathroom was not as bad but still needed a good refresh. I should have known you get what you pay for. $80 plus tax sounded great, until you checked in. We didn't read the reviews thoroughly and that was our error. Management response to those who left negative reviews sounded like they were taking the whole thing seriously. I guess they missed our room. With many motels right next to each other, take a pass on this one.

We had a perfect visit there, we had our small dog, and they were very accommodating. We really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The staff was friendly and efficient. Its the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Savannah area.

The hotel is obviously undergoing renovations. I say obviously because there were bedframes in the bushes and the walkway to the stairs was blocked by a pickup truck filled with carpeting. The ac worked but the unit was very noisy. All of the outer walkways were wet because of the drainage from the ac units. There was only one available outlet in the room (besides next to the sink) and it was so old we were afraid to use it. Everything in the room except for the TV needed to be replaced. The toilet seat was very loose and I was certain that it was going to come off. I would not use the shower because of the way it looked. The mattress had visible bedbug dirt although I saw no signs of any active infestation. The bed skirt was torn. The refridgerator was not working and had mold in several places. There is no excuse that this room was rented in the condition it was in. The good points which prevented a terrible review were that the front desk was very friendly and the breakfast was decent. However the main purpose of a hotel is the room and in that regard it failed miserably, I will not return.

I came with a 16 foot moving truck and there was ample parking for it. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and it is a short trip to the historic sectionof Savannah. The room was nice and without a doubt I would stay here again.

Horrible experience. I've stayed at a variety of hotels, but nothing of as poor quality as this hotel was. There was no hot water during my stay, I was also awoken at the very early morning, approximately 5 or 6am, by extremely loud noises (probably deriving from their attempts of fixing the hot water). Overall extremely disappointed, staff were inattentive and weren't apologetic for the extreme inconveniences.

Just Do Not Do It.... room was SO smelly... AC did not work. Although the location was excellent, there were many more choices... lots of restaurants and gas stations. I would strongly recommend choosing another hotel. We only booked this place because they were pet friendly. I will in the future smuggle my dog in instead of staying at this place again... they had free wifi however, continental breakfast, TV, fridge, microwave in room,,,, it reminded me of the rooms I've stayed at with my parents in the 70's.......

Looks like the property hasn't been updated since the 1970s... definitely needs a facelift and thorough cleanup. Handicap room was not user friendly...bed too high and toilet too low; riser seat did not fit properly, thus unsafe as well as unusable.

Made an advance reservation to stay at this hotel and disclosed that we were traveling with pets. It was noted in our reservation and was told there is a $20 pet fee. Because we failed to tell the clerk we had pets when we checked in, after we checked out, they tried to charge us a $150 fine for failure to tell them about the pets even though it was noted in our reservation. The experience to get this resolved was TERRIBLE to say the least! The hotel GM ended up refunding the $150, but charged $40 for 2 pets instead of the $20 that was disclosed by corporate. Will never stay at a Best Western again! We are going back to LaQuinta!

Just stopped for one night as we were traveling. Great access to the highway, but not noisy. IHOP accross the street is 24 hr and Dennys is attached to the hotel. All rooms exit to outdoors, which is not my preference, but it was only for one night. Room needs updating, but was clean. Staff was friendly. Priced right for a quick overnight stay.

We arrived late. Was on a girl's trip, so we had no destination in mind. This location was right off the expressway along with 6 other hotels. We were skeptical due to the price, but we decided on the hotel due to the looks of the ad. We checked out the lobby of two other hotels before deciding on this one. the lobby was inviting, the front desk clerk was overly friendly and welcoming, and the free HOT breakfast did not disappoint. Great value for the money. CONS: There were only 3 sets of towels and we had 2 adults and 2 kids. A double room should have 4 sets of towels.

They tried to double charge us for stay, had to go down and show our receipt. Air conditioner and fridge was broke. Moved to a new room.. Air conditioner was leaking and the room smelled absolutely awful. Iron burnt hole in shirt.

This was a very nice property overall! Staff was fantastic and everything was clean and comfortable! The pool was very clean and enjoyable. The breakfast was nice and offered waffles, fresh eggs and sausage among other things. I would highly recommend staying here. It was well worth what we paid. The only possible downside was that it was slightly outdated but this would only bother you if you were super super picky.

Room was Musty. Room needs new paint job and new carpet Food was awful in the dining hall. Took forever to replenish. Refrigerator didn't work. Water damage on the ceiling. The one on Bay Street is EXCELLENT.

My fiancé and I stayed here for 3 nights and booked using Best Western points. We really enjoyed our stayed other than not being able to get a king bed room using bw points (we got a double). The room was clean, beds soft but comfortable, and we liked that Denny's is conveniently attached to the hotel (open 24 hours). I would highly recommend this Best Western to anybody that is looking for a cheaper rate, close to historic down town but far enough away to be away from all the tourist hussle and bussle. We didn't make it down for the continental breakfast so I can't really comment on that. The pool looked decent but we didn't have time to use it because we were busy touring Savannah and Tybee Island. We will definitely book here again when we come back.

The service of the staff was perfectly fine...but the cleanliness of the hotel was not very good. I would not return due to the cleanliness. Also, the coffee maker was a very poor design. It uses disposable plastic trays to hold the coffee ground pouch. The heat from the water, melts/distorts the tray's shape which causes it to fall out of the machine and into your cup of coffee.

The hotel was everything you expect in a BW; clean, free WiFi, reasonably priced. The only issue was that the room was humid (this was Georgia in the summer, so it is not unexpected). My wife being pregnant found it nearly unbearable as she was constantly uncomfortable with the humidity in the room. I am more used to the conditions and had no real issues.

We were looking for an option close to 95 for a stop-over on our way south. This hotel was a great value and exceeded our expectations. It wasn't right in the heart of the historic district of Savannah, but it also didn't carry the commensurate price-tag. And, it was an easy 20 minute drive to the restaurants and squares of the city. Perfect for our 1-night stay. The staff were friendly, breakfast was adequate, room was clean. All-in-all a favorable experience.

Only stayed one night but would've liked to have stated longer only our schedule wouldn't allow. Very clean motel/hotel with nice pool and good breakfast in a great area for shopping and eating. It's a fifteen minute drive to the waterfront through some lovely scenic roads. Maybe one gripe would be that the girl on the front desk could try and smile. When your checking in after a long drive, a smile goes a long way.

Guess you get what you pay for, but still $79 a night per room is not at all bottom prices. Room had dingy carpet, piles of old bed mattresses stacked outside, loud AC unit, the place could use a make over. The breakfast is your typical with eggs, sausage, waffle maker, pancake maker, limited fruit and yogurt selection.

Don't waste your time or money, rooms were not up to par, carpet was wet from the ac. Didn't smell fresh, rude employees in the breakfast area and it was 83 degrees while trying to eat breakfast. We told the staff while checking out they should turn the AC on and they tried to explain it was because people was going in and out but yet it was cool where they was at.

The pool was closed for no reason, there were burn holes in the sheets, poorly stocked restaurant and the carpet was wet from some type of flooding. At least the internet was ok and the breakfast was good.

The front desk staffer was extremely accommodating and found us a first floor room. The facility is two story and is definitely dated. Older style carpeting, roadside motel access, and no inner hallway. The morning complimentary breakfast was wonderful. In addition to the run of the mill waffles, they had a machine that made pancakes, which were great. I made the reservation through a third party vendor and paid an additional and unnecessary $19.99.

Reception staff was great and super fun and helpful! Just some odds and ends that were off about the place overall. The pool was always busy and the room service was iffy. Made the beds and took our towels, even with the DND sign up. Brought some towels later on, which almost made up for it.

"Tired Old Motel"

I've stayed at this motel a few times over the years, but was dismayed at the overall appearance of the motel this most recent visit, of May 24, 2017. The room, 109, had a badly mounted door; it looked like it had been jimmied open recently, the door would not close completely, but did lock. The floor (carpet) was wet throughout, The table lamps had very low wattage bulbs, meaning the room was dimly lighted, and no overhead light to help brighten the room. The sink and dressing area were dark, also. The AC unit was loud. The continental breakfast was adequate (scrambled eggs and sausage were the only main foods), but other selections were provided yogurt, cereal, waffles and pancakes, toast (only one toaster, so get in line), bagels, muffins, apples and oranges, and coffee, juice, etc. I would have liked to see other meats, like bacon, etc. Overall: disappointing stay; dingy, damp, dark room. But, the mattress was very good; that along with the noise from the AC put me to sleep in a hurry. Dinner at the Denny's Restaurant inside the hotel was atrocious: too little staff (the manager was also the only cook, and, with two waitresses, were all of the employees working. My meal (sirloin steak) took 50 minutes to prepare; and then it was full of gristle. I mention this in this review because that was one of the reasons I've stayed at this motel - because of the restaurant inside the hotel. I won't choose this motel again, due to the condition of the room, and the terrible Denny's Restaurant.

The hotel has an excellent location to get back on 95 and is close to a lot of restaurants and not far at all from the Savannah historic district. The rooms could use an update and definitely a tile floor instead of carpet in the rooms but it is well kept and the staff was very nice at check in and check out.

The hotel, the location and the rate were all very good. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it and would return. Staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast. We enjoyed the pool and the beds were comfortable. It is expensive to stay downtown Savannah and this was not that far a drive for the good rate.

I stayed here last year and was very pleased. This year's stay was almost as good. The only issue was the bed. The king bed last year was great, however the double bed this year was too soft for my liking. Both double beds were the same. Needless to say, we did not sleep well during this stay. Other than the double bed, I recommend this hotel.

Beds are so soft that they hurt your back. It's hard to even get out of them. No comforter. Air conditioning so loud that it disrupts your sleep. Breakfast is of poor quality. They don't even offer real butter. Only fruit option was apples that weren't fresh. Only tea was green. Nothing seemed healthy or of quality. Bathroom is severely outdated and dingy. Made you not want to touch the walls. Stained carpets. I do NOT recommend.

O.K. for a place off the interstate. Ran out of sausage gravy at breakfast and told 20 minutes for more to be made. They had 30 minutes left for the breakfast schedule.Other than the breakfast issue the place was o.k.

Great place to spend the night when traveling. It is located at a bustling intersection with gasoline and food places. The best part is the Savannah is very close, so it makes for an ideal location to stay when visiting the city.

Short overnight stay. Booked online through BW website. Room was ready on arrival. We use BW often and rarely disappointed. Room was quiet and clean. Breakfast area clean, and check out went smoothly.

I stayed here for the first time and I can tell you this will be the place for me every time I am in Savannah! The place was clean and the staff even upgraded me for free! On top of that, they have a 24 hours Dennys inside the Hotel!

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. It is older, but has many conveniences. There are several chain restaurants in walking distance plus Denny's on property. Fast proficient check in and out. Easy drive of about 20 minutes from downtown and about an hour or so to Hilton Head. We would stay there again if in that area. Good hot breakfast.

Nice people-the light didn't work properly when we got to the room. I could feel the springs on the matrass through the sheets. The room was very clean-TV worked fine-coffee pot worked-refrigerator worked fine-It was located 25 minutes from the hospital and the reason I picked this motel is because it was cheaper than the one close to the hospital - that one cost $169.00 couldn't afford that

The rooms are very clean but should mention a pet peeve of mine is dirty mirrors and that was the case here. But otherwise the room was very clean. I mentioned the mirrors to front desk at checkout and was given a sincere apology and was told housekeeping would be spoken to. The upstairs toilets were noisy and heard very easily below. The beds are outdated and uncomfortable but otherwise very clean. Towels were new and very white! Staff were very friendly. Found wifi a bit slow.

We had a great stay in Savannah Ga and will be back. Did a little sightseeing and eating and relaxing. Some of the sights we saw were the botanical gardens and historic downtown Savannah it was an awesome sight.

This Hotel is probably best suited as it is very close to I-95 while there are any number of other Hotels located very near who might be a better choice due to past experience. My wife and I had been impressed last summer in Germany from Best Westerns there but now that we have experienced this venue we will not return and will choose other chains. To clarify, the Hotels that we stayed in in Germany were Best Western Plus so that may be what was the problem here. We were welcomed adequately though the clerk had trouble finding our reservation. Nevertheless we were assigned a room which proved to be in need of renovation, could have used sprucing up and gave the impression of slovenly ness. The Hotel is old fashioned and does not compare well with other properties nearby. There is an outside pool which unfortunately is only open starting 1 May so there is little to commend this place. The Hotel is located about 15 miles from the city of Savannah so that too is not attractive. We stayed for two nights though on our second day the house keeping seemed to have improved. Breakfast was adequate but hardly worth mentioning. In short, we would have been better served with another close by Hotel though the price was reasonable(Saturday night $100 U.S., Sunday night $80 U.S.)

I have stayed at this hotel about 3 occasions on my way from Sarasota to New York and back. This time I left my computer case with my passport in my room when I departed. In her own time a Front desk employee went to UPS and overnighted to me.

On arrival, we were well greeted by Giovanna she was nice, polite, cordial and pleasant which was a very good start. in the evening I was helped by Lavanty who went out of her way and on check out I believe it may have been Ashley, was most helpful. However the accommodation was very disappointing. I knew it was not a Best Western Plus and was not expecting High Class rooms. I have stayed in other Modest Hotels of Best Western like this humble Inn, example Capilano, and had no reason to complain. However the room really needs work. It had an awful embedded foul smell of a toilet as if the sewage went through our room, I forgot my sandals but had to wear socks at all time because carpet was so filthy my white socks were black, my wife's white sandals she has been wearing in over 30 hotels was so black she had to wash the bottom. One of the sheets had three holes, I had to complain about the sink and bathtub because they water was not being drained properly. The location was ideal, which is why I opted to stay there. The breakfast was acceptable but not the Best of the Best Westerns. Realizing that this was not a Best Western Plus, I was not expecting luxury, nor was I dreaming in Color but this Hotel should consider steam cleaning the carpets and working on the water facilities. In fact they should gut the rooms and do a clean up. I once again thank Giovanna very much as well as Lavanty and the young lady at check out. Sorry, I do not like being negative but t his is feed-back

Decent enough place to stay but rooms all need to be remodeled. Old furniture. Dirty carpet. Poorly fitting doors. Toilets that run constantly etc. Just plan on staying here if you need a quick and inexpensive place to rest whilst on the road. Otherwise, not much to offer.

While the staff was pleasant and the breakfast good, the room was in dire need of upgrading and cleaning. There was dirt and paper on the bathroom floor and the mattresses were in sad shape and offered little support. there was an 18 wheeler parked outside our room that ran most of the night.

Rooms have a smell, Bathroom stinks, Weak mattress.I would not stay in this hotel ever. The location is good but there are better choices. You can get a better hotel for the price I paid. Not at all a good hotel. They just do not care about the appearance and assume people would stay there anyway because of the good location.

We didn't want to spend a lot on our road trip home from Florida. You get what you pay for. This is a motel. (Wasn't clear to me) a/c didn't work. It was hot and stuffy. Woke up and saw a huge roach crawl under the bed. Couldn't get out fast enough.

This Hotel offers easy access from the highway, and the front desk staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed the included hot breakfast with lots of choices and it is quick if you want to get away quickly to get back on the road. The rooms were clean and comfortable and highway noise was minimal even on the highway side. The value can't be beat!

I had a good stay. The urine odor in the bathroom was a probl5. When I reported it to the front desk, she said that the cleaning person would have to be notified because she will not check everyday , but maybe every three days. She should check for odors everyday especially before I checked in. I was move from another room because of a leak in the roof. The pool was closed. I was not informed when I made my reservation. I was looking forward to swimming. I usually look for a hotel with a pool. In ither words, the advertising of the pool was deceptive on Booking.com.

The staff at this hotel Are very nice the first room we where assigned to the air conditioning was not working and we extremely loud. Plus there was what looked like mad growing on the drapes in front of the air conditioning. We called the front dark to complain and the staff brought us new room keys and moves us to a new room within ten minutes or less. The new room is much cleaner,air conditioning works and is vey quite. All in all a much more pleasing room.

Made me very leery of staying in a Best Western again, as I said before felt like a second class citizen and then having to pay extra for my 10 lb Rat Terrier who is very well behaved.Your breakfast room leaves alot to be desired also. It didn't look neat and clean so we ate in Dennys.

We travel with our pet cat who only uses his litter box. We obviously stayed in a room that was frequented by dogs other other animals that stained the carpet. I would recommend, and not just to Best Western, that their pet rooms not be carpeted. Breakfast was very good and if you're traveling I95 the location can't be beat.

Stayed here for two nights and couldn't manage to get a good nights sleep either night. The beds were okay and the place seemed clean enough; but the hotel is located right off the interstate, so you hear traffic noise allll night - and people at the hotel were very loud too. The first night there was a different group of incredibly loud (presumably drunk) people about what seemed like every 10-15 mins or so. The second night it wasn't as bad, but the interstate noise continued. The door didn't have an even halfway decent seal on it, so every time someone went out to smoke (which was often) you could smell it. The door seal problem didn't help with the interstate noise either. Breakfast was decent, staff seemed friendly enough, and prices were cheap, but I'm not sure it justified not being able to get a good nights sleep.

Stayed here last week for 1 night. Room was on ground floor, at around 10 PM we came in and took our shoes off getting ready for a shower and bed wow within a few minutes of walking on that carpet our socks were black, yes, black carpet was not dirty it was beyond filthy. So Ok we get in bed and im reading my book and we have visitors, ROACHS crawling on the wall across from bed, we told front desk and of course we got the same ole answer "We are SO Sorry" really, im so tired of hearing this FIX IT. The housekeepers are well aware if the carpet is dirty and if the room has bugs. UGH! we will not be staying here again. Think we should have been given a refund not extra points. Shame on you Best Western

We have stayed at this Best Western before. The management has clearly changed. It's not as well kept as it used to be. The bathroom did not smell quite clean so I sprayed it down with Lysol. We were there on Friday, October 28th. We went out for dinner and came back and found people hanging out drinking and smoking it the parking lot. It looked like a block party (and not the good kind). When we got to our room, there were people hanging out on the patio smoking near our door. They kept getting louder and louder until I had to call the front desk about the noise. There were cats and cigarette butts everywhere. On Saturday morning,I stopped by the front desk and asked for the manager; I waited several minutes, but he never came out. Needless to say, we won't go back there again.

Picked up my coupon from hotel savings, have stayed there at least 8 times. Upon arrival parking lot was not jammed,arrived at 3:45 and proceeded to check in. Receptionist told us when presenting coupon, that manager said not to redeem coupons. After all the advertising money, why would you decline a customer. After trading 18 hours, did not want a scene. We were charged almost double, felt like when hurricane came hotels were charging ridiculous fees. Now snowbirds are on the way down, there are no more affordable rooms available. I could see if it was 6 pm or later, but quarter of four? They have lost my business and my friends,

The room was adequate and clean except for the noise from I-95. I would recommend staying on the other side to avoid the traffic noise. We had someone smoking on the balcony outside the room and the air conditioner vent pulled it all inside. It smelled awful, just like we were smoking and not good for someone with asthma. The continental breakfast was good and the serving room was large and clean.

Great hotel for the money. Rooms were clean -- which is not always the case for the Best Western franchises, but this one passes the clean test with high marks. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Very convenient that it is directly off of I-95 and in an area that is walking distance to restaurants. Hotel staff was friendly and the free internet was working great too.

(But you gotta serve hot biscuits lol) This place is a great deal and great location. The drive to downtown is smooth and short. The drive out to Tybee isn't bad either. I'll be back.

We returned from mandatory evacuation from Hurrican Matthew and stayed at the BW Gateway. It was a nightmare staying in other hotels in Augusta GA, we were so happy to get home and stay at a BW. It was clean the staff was friendly and caring.

Choose this hotel because it's pet friendly. The room was clean. It could be cleaner. Behind the night table was dusty and dirty. Room smelled clean. Carpet was clean. Needs updating. Breakfast looked awful. Walked across to IHOP. Busy exit with lots of hotels, restaurants, gas stations. This would be a last resort. Definitely stayed in better pet friendly hotels.

We stayed for two nights. It's an older hotel, so it's a bit dated but very clean. I could tell they take pride in caring for the rooms. The water pressure wasn't great, but it got the job done. Beds were fine. My only issue was the noise from I-95. This is not the fault of the hotel, it's just something to be aware of. It was quite loud as we were on the west side of the building. The front desk staff was wonderful. I somehow lost my room keys between checking in and getting to the room. The woman at the desk immediately made me new keys and told me not to worry! We did not have the free breakfast so I can't comment on that. I would recommend the hotel if you're looking for an inexpensive, safe, place to stay.

We were looking for a hotel that gave us easy access off the interstate highway and found this one on Airbnb for $70 per night. Nothing really stands out but the price. Older property with damp odour in room but beds were clean and comfortable enough. Not a hotel I would go back to, as there were many other newer options nearby, but breakfast was included as well as wifi, and other than it being dated and basic, there were no real issues.

We had a nice stay at Best Western in Rocky Mount N.C so decided to stay at another in Savannah, Ga. We like "Motor Lodges" as opposed to inside only hotels. We were given a room with very strong smelling cleaning supplies or deodorizer. We discovered we were in a room next to one with 3 dogs. They started barking at 5:30 a.m. The carpet was dirty and looked like a pet room. I called the front desk about this and she said the manager would call us. Manager never did. There are 2 other "motor lodge" type hotels at this stop. We will probably try one of them instead next time. This is a great exit to stop. Everything is close by.

Old, dirty, smelly room. Long black hair all over the bathroom. Several other properties off I95 in Savannah probably much better. I am a BW Platinum member so I know this is not up to BW standards. Cancelled my reservation for my return trip and glad I did. Stayed at another BW in another town off the Highway and glad we did.

This was a pleasant, clean, functional motel. When you include free Wi-Fi and breakfast it became a great value! The location is very convenient to Savannah and 95. I would stay here again if the need presented itself.

This motel is a lot older than the surrounding hotels/motels, but is reasonably priced. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is good with plenty to choose from. The air conditioner will freeze you they work so well, but tend to leave a huge puddle outside the room. The mattresses need replaced badly and the Wi-Fi is so-so. The clientele is construction workers and snowbirds traveling back and forth.

Very pleasant place to stay. Hotel staff couldn't do enough. Denny's restaurant was located right in the hotel so you didn't have to get back in the car and travel to another restaurant. Traveling with 2 small dogs,choices limited.We stay the previous night at a Best western in Ashville,NC.Great expierence and lookin foward to another great night in Savannah.Would not happe.To start right off the door would not lock unless slammed shut.Smell in room (from prev dogs).Went to open refrigerator and it started to topple over.Noise from people ubove late at night.Definitley would not stay here again.

Great place and even a better value. Great location off I 95. Several restaurants in immediate area. Full hot breakfast the next morning was included and delish! Great pit stop as we were driving from Pennsylvania to Florida. Highly recommend. Would definitely return, and most important room was very spacious and clean.

Booked on the phone with Hotel.com late at night. I was assured it had good reviews. The staff member at the desk on check-in was friendly and efficient. The room had a musty smell and wasn't really clean near the bed, and in the corners, on the window, etc. Thought I saw something crawling but we were tired and needed to sleep. Left everything closed and up, on the table. In the morning there were a few roaches by the ac and window. I took pictures and checked out. The staff at the desk was friendly and apologetic. Because I pre-paid through a 3rd party there was nothing he could do as far as a refund, but quickly offered a half-price stay next time. I don't think there will be a next-time.

Just left couple hours ago. We have stayed here three times on way to Miami from Virginia. Perfect stopping point for us. As with our last stay 6 months ago it's still a great motel for the price. Very clean and the housekeeper for room 129 cares about there job. I am an owner of a vacation cleaning company and took notice to how nice housekeeper puts the towels and soaps and it was greatly appreciated to have a nice clean cared about room. Thanks to the housekeeper. Might stay on our way back !!

Very nice hotel located outside of Savannah offering a good rate. The room could have been a bit cleaner - needed to clean under the dresser and behind. But overall a good choice. Easy access to Savannah. Breakfast room was well stocked and the food was good.

My boyfriend and I stayed for two night and had a great time. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good, your standard continental with three waffle machines as well as hot eggs and sausage. Lots of fast food places nearby too. The only downside is that it's quite far from Savannah - a 20 minute drive. But other than that it was brilliant for the price.

I was traveling to reach a dying friend; front desk very accommodating in assisting with quick check out to make sure I got back on the road quickly. Grateful for the help and the compassion shown. Its great to have people understand when you need to get in and out quickly and they rise to the occasion.

Room was quite nice, nothing fancy but very comfortable. We had a nice view too. I would recommend this Best Western. We booked the room on Trip Advisor on our way to Savannah. It worked out very well. It was so easy to use Trip Advisor because they had photos of all available hotels.

So conveniently located off of 95. We arrived late and were treated so well. The staff went out of their way looking for a cot and worked so hard to accommodate us. The motel is laid out so well. We were thrilled to be able to park right out in front of our first floor room. Breakfast exceeded expectations and the lady working the breakfast was so friendly and attended to everyone's needs while keeping everything goes so clean. Room was clean. Wish we had time to enjoy the pool. We would absolutely stay here again.

Convenient location off 95 and about 20 minutes to the historic district of Savanah, this Best Western is a great value! Highly recommend if looking for a very reasonable night's stay with breakfast included. Breakfast was extensive, with oatmeal, waffles, Bagels, eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. We definitely got our money's worth!

Very clean hotel and grounds. Great that it is right off I-95 at Exit 94. Minutes from my family... There are many choices of food and beverages next to the hotel and lots of sightseeing within the area.

I think I've stayed here about 5 times now. They have good prices, has a Denny's attached to the hotel and is surrounded by other places to eat. I'll always make this my go to place when staying in Savannah. It's a 10-15 minute ride to downtown. I like that I'm not staying downtown because it's too busy for me. I prefer to have some "breathing room" when I go visit other places.

After having stayed at this hotel in the past, though not in the past few years, I was surprised at the way the room had gone downhill. The mattresses on both beds were so bad that when you got in the bed, you literally sunk to the box spring. Also, when you turned it felt as though you were falling out of bed. The hotel is older, but it was not quite up to par for what I expect from Best Western. The front desk staff at checkout and the restaurant server we had, as well as the staff member working the continental breakfast on Saturday were wonderful. I would definitely check further to see what is on trip advisor before I stay there again, though I always prefer to stay at Best Westerns when traveling with family, and love the location!

Everyone was super friendly. Came in late but they was more than welcoming. Rooms were clean as well. Definitely will stay again. Beds were comfy. Wifi was great. Air-conditioning worked great. Free breakfast was good as well.

We chose this Best Western because we were traveling with a dog and they allowed pets. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and quiet it was, even though the hotel was fully booked for the night. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. This was a great deal for the price.

I stayed here on a business trip over the weekend. All the rooms are accesed from outside but I like that. The pool was very nice and clean. They have a Denny's on sight to eat at but no thanks for me. Lots of other choices with the other hotels clos buy. I walked to the Applebees. It was in the upper 90's this weekend and the air conditioner work great. My only complaint was that hey do not have laundry service as I travel for weeks at a time. Hotel staff was great and fun to chat with. I will stay here again when im in town.

Everything was just perfect. We really enjoy our time there, we will also refer our friend and associates. The staff was very helpful with recommendations of places to visit and places to eat. I found to room to very spacious and clean. The location was right of the interstate and close to all the attractions It was also a blessing that breakfast was included in the price.

My friends and I stayed here two Saturday's in a row. Both times I awoke in the middle of the night to a horrible smell. I can only explain it best as rotten eggs. My friends and I think it might be the air conditioners. We stayed in rooms 204 and 208. Other than the smell it was great.

The room was average. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. What I expected for the price. It is an overall "ok, no frills" place to stay that is relatively close to downtown Savannah. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was your standard motel fare.

The Motel staff was awesome, they showed us great hospitality, always willing to answer questions and accommodate us with a smile, Kudos.The Motel room was nice an clean, the air conditioner worked great. The only problem with the room is that one of the beds was kinda lumpy. The breakfast was satisfying, really good and a nice variety of choices, whether you wanted to eat light or heavy. I would stay at this Motel again if I had the opportunity.

Decent place for the price, but be sure to "bring your own" for the walk to second floor for your room. Older hotel, great staff but non-working refrigerator, microwave missing heating tray, makes for an uncomfortable stay after a long trip from NJ.

Great hotel. Very clean and the staff was very nice. We did not have breakfast because it was too early. Should make it for 10:30. 1 complaint. The cleaning staff did not clean the room or change the towels the first day we were there.

My fiance, our 5yr old & myself stayed at this Best Western location at Gateway Center i95 South, on our way down & back from our Disney trip just a few weeks ago. We booked both stays in advance due to having a great advanced price compared to all the other places to stay overnight nearby with the exception you couldnt cancel or else you loose your money. We've never stayed at any BW prior but we thought how bad could it be with all those other great hotels nearby. It wasn't a terrible stay but.... The area itself is perfect for a quick family stop. Lots of different hotels, attractions, gas stations & restaurants of all kinds, so that's a plus. The BW itself was just alright. The lobby is modern, the rooms not so much & the staff was a hit or miss with courtesy. The exterior was prestine & they always were cleaning it & keeping it beautiful looking. The parking lot was not littered with trash or ciggarette butts ever. I Definitely wouldn't recommend staying more than 1 night at this hotel/motel nor stay at all if you have smaller children, especially toddlers or babies that need to crawl around or are closer to the rug though. The rooms were spacious, which was a pleasant surprise but the rugs & bed linens were always damp and the rooms itself smelled musty and stale. Actually my daughter who never had allergies previouly had gotten severe allergies within the 1st half hour of arriving in our room & then disappeared within a few hours of leaving and likewise on the stay home again. Our inital thought during our 1st stay to the dampness was our rugs must of just been shampooed (even though anyone can tell otherwise) & same for the linens but it inevitably was due to poor air circulation so the whole time everything in the room was damp (& this was in 2 seperate rooms during 2 seperate stays, within 2 weeks apart). Even our bodies felt sticky and damp & had that musty smell. The overall visual cleanliness was so-so. You can tell they changed the sheets & vacuumed but they didn't get close to any walls or corners. There was piles of dust & dirt there clearly noticable. Plus the towels didn't look that clean, specifically the face clothes were dingy, looked used & didn't look bleached or bright. The beds were surprisingly comfy even though we dare not pull back anymore than the top sheet. Sheets had some stains & dingy also. Pillow/cases looked fine. We booked 2 identical double bed rooms & the 1st 1 came with a fridge & microwave, the 2nd time we stayed on our way home, those items were missing & you could see where they clearly used to be. We didn't bother mentioning anything but we did need a fridge because we had items that had to stay cold. Plus their website states all rooms come with those amenities. The bathroom was a bit scarey. We didn't want to shower in it, so we waited until we got to disney & then on the way home waited until our next hotel stop after this BW. We were going from Disney to Massachusetts, so we stayed at a few different places along the way. This BW was definitely the poorest one of them all. Their pool was immaculate though & nicely sized. We spent most our time in there because we wanted to spend the least time in our rooms as possible. It was nice though that they were attached to a Dennys that was open for take out 24/7 but I don't think we'll be staying at this BW location during future Disney trips. I rather pay the extra $50- $100 for a place that I know is consistent with their standards. I hate even giving a mostly negative review but it's the truth.

We decided to stay here for a Saturday night before we checked in at the Embassy Suites in Downtown on Sun. to save money. I must admit that my wife and I were impressed! The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was really nice and the complementary breakfast was good quality.

Called ahead to book while driving just to get off 95 for the nite. Seen all the room offerings on the website. Sold. What a great stop. Even if just for a night and back on the highway. The free breakfast was legit as well. The do it yourself waffle iron made a dang fine Belgian.

Hubby stayed here with his mom and sister on the way to North Carolina. They thought it was very good but the breakfast was just generic. The location was very good as it is off the interstate. Lots of nearby restaurants.

Before booking, I read so many reviews some not favorable, but said let me just give this place a try. Glad that we did, it was easy access to I-95 and also close to Richmond where we had friends and easy access to Downtown. The room was clean and when we asked for extra towels they were available when we returned to the room. Free breakfast, I was thinking, cereal, toast coffee etc. Not sausage, waffles, muffins, pastries, bagels, eggs, O.J, Coffee, Tea. WOW. That went beyond. The front staff was awesome and friendly. Stop through you may be surprised.

This is unacceptable... 2x4's holding up the AC unit. Cigarette burns in the sheets. Dirty carpets. Carpet threshold on the adjoining room doesn't match the room carpet. Smells TERRIBLE. Trash behind the refrigerator. Rust on the interior of the door. Adjoining room hinge and interior hinges rusted. Mattresses are COMPLETELY shot. Chrome exposes rack for hanging clothes rusted. Very poor finish and repair work. Case goods are in great shape,,, other than that, NEVER AGAIN... The door isn't properly installed. The top meets, where the handle is located, there is a huge gap. Be it not for the flip over security lock, I would never stay in here ....

We got a deal with trip advisor for 54$ a night king bedroom... breakfast included. The room TV had HBO included. Room was very clean and had microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. The only con were the pillows.

Stayed here with a friend and her one year old for one night in July. Great location. Surrounded by a ton of restaurants and had a Denny's in the hotel. Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfy. Pool was nice. Check in and out were easy. AC worked well (which was great since it was HOT!!) and super easy access to route 95. Would def stay again

The rooms were Outdated along with the decor. Room still had Popcorn ceilings! The Breakfast was fairly decent but not understanding why trying to get somoe glasses of water at breakfast was so difficult. This was a Decent enough to stay for an overnight trip and was at a reasonable price. Location is right off highway and had plenty of options to eat within walking distance.

The room was clean and there was no bugs. It was quiet even though it's a busy street with several hotels & eateries. Check in & out was quick, easy and the front desk employees were friendly. Breakfast was questionable as to whether the eggs and sausage should be consumed.. So our 2nd morning we went to Waffle House.

I have stayed at this hotel for the past 2 years on my way to and from Florida.This is the half way point for my trip to Orlando, Fl. It's in a great location with lot's of restaurants, gas stations, etc. The mall is less than 10 miles away.

Motel convenient to interstate highway, easy access. Close to eating establishments. Room was nice but door latching mechanism needed repair, looked as if just enough to get by was done so not to be a costly repair. Had to remove a gecho from the bathtub prior to showering. Whilst our stay at this motel was OK, the wifi connection was weak and intermittent. But after paying our bill on checkout, a day or two later there was another charge of $280+ to my card that was obviously not part of our bill. After trying many times to contact the motel over several weeks (there is no email address on their web site) we found a 1800 number for Best Western and a person who could help solve this issue. 3 weeks after the charge was found on my card it has been credited back to me - unfortunately too late to use for my holiday.

Best Western Hotels in Cocoa Beach and Savannah georgia, are wonderful and welcoming facilities to spend a few nights at. Lots of amenities, great breakfast at Cocoa Beach and Savannah. Rooms are spotlessly clean and when i needed maintainence on my room's T.V. the gal was there quickly and had it fixed in a jiffy and was very friendly. Since i have been staying there over the last ten years twice a summmer the veteran cleks at the desk all remember me and handle my needs when i arrive. you can't buy that kind of help or pleasant stay anywhere else. If you are going anywhere be sure to go With the Best...Best Western for sure.

A nice economy hotel. But I had a problem with it. I checked in around 2:00am and asked a reception desk employee for a late checkup at 12:00pm. She said she will take care of it. But at 11:00am a room cleaning lady was baning on my door apparently unaware of my request.

Had a wonderful stay here, when we got into the room, it was very cozy and cold sense it was 100 degrees outside. And the complimentary breakfast was awesome! Would definitely stay here again. And it is only 15 minutes away from the Historic town of Savannah and only 30 minutes away from Tybee Island!

the amenities have slipped this past year. The Breakfast was excellent due to the single staff doing a job well done. Congratulations. The room had a minifridge which was way too warm and the knob was set at max. I know as I put 2 temp gauges in it. Good thing I wasn't packing dairy or fish or meat products this trip. There was no TV Guide scroll on any TV channel. The minifridge freexer was teensy and Iit never refroze even one reusuable ice block and the other 4 never made it to the mini freezer. It was way to warm anyways. I could have taken them to the lobby and the night staff would have refroze them overnite but I was simply too tired after driving all day to get here. As I said, a fairly nice sleep but amenities not so much except for the lady doing an excellant breakfast layout.

We came here on vacation this week and even though I've stayed in more modern hotels, my kids LOVED it! The pool area was fun and the breakfast was phenomenal! They even had Nutella packers that my kids were happy with. It's close to many eateries and a Walmart is about a mile away!

Just needed a place to lay my head on way up the coast. This looks fine on the outside and the room really belies its age. But that musty damp rug smell from to many years of humid air was present. But hey, for the price you almost have to expect it. Room was by the pool....if I had thought twice I probably would have asked for a different room. The 'boys' where home from work and having some beers by the pool till after 11. Not so loud but loud enough. Includes breakfast.

This motel is set amidst a plethora of motels right off the highway ( I-95), and right next to a Denny's that services the complimentary breakfast. The trip to Savannah is definitely work the 20 minute ride. A great walking around place that always seems fresh, with unique shops and restaurants, as well as of great historical significance. The hotel does need some updating inside, but for a quick rest stop it suits the bill.

You can't do any better than a Best Western. Staff was great, rooms were clean. They do allow pets. Close to dinning areas or use the one at hotel. It was right off interest state did not have to drive very far it find it Breakfast was a full breakfast, not just fruit and coffee. Bed were great best sleep I had in a long time. I would be happy to tell anyone they to go and stay at a Best Western anytime. Never have been disappointed when I stayed at a Best Western.

We visited Savannah on the first weekend of May and we had no complaints staying at Best Western. The staff were very friendly and we liked the fact that it was strategically placed near a gas station and IHOP for those who prefer to have breakfast elsewhere. The drive to downtown Savannah was also pretty short so I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable yet comfortable place to stay.

Not the most modern facility but it is well maintained and cared for by hard-working conscientious people. We got a room right next to I-95, but due to the double-pane glass picture window, the sound didn't disrupt our sleep. It is integrated into a Denny's Restaurant which was convenient. However the hotel has it's own large well-managed breakfast area which is notable. In all my travels I have never seen a 100% rating on a posted health inspection certificate which they had. Plus the staff members greeted us when we arrived and made sure all of the food stations were in good order. I noticed one person taking out extra food and was surprised to see the hotel breakfast staff person offer to go get her a bag. Now that is class.

Average stay. Nothing stood out about this hotel. Older concept, but it was OK. The rooms aren't very big for the amount of furniture place in them. Denny's was probably the only bright spot since it was next to the lobby area.

I had 4 rooms at this motel and found they all require TLC, and a major top to bottom cleaning. The smell was also fowl when walking into each room. We won't be returning to this motel when on travel.

There were bed bugs and ticks in my bed. It's frustrating to be awake at 3am because you are being bitten by bed bugs on your legs and ticks on your arms!!! When you are a pet friendly hotel, you should have special rooms for pet only guests. All other guests should be put in pet free rooms!!! That will at least get rid of the tick problem.

I stopped here on the way to Florida to spend the night. In the past I've had good experiences at Best Westerns. However, this one was very disappointing, especially considering the price. First off the room was not very clean. There were crumbles from the previous guest all over the table and floor in the bathroom was not clean. Then the sheets on the bed were small and there were holes in them since they had been washed so many times. The room itself just seemed a little dingy. Also since The air-conditioning have been turned off, the room was quite humid when I arrived. The plus side was that the bed was actually quite comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was decent. Although I'll probably stay in another Best Western hotel, I definitely won't be staying here next time.

Bit disappointed with our 2 night stay here, our room was very close to a very noisy road and the beds tho comfortable did not have big enough sheets on them so they kept coming off as you turned over in the night. The rooms were also not cleaned each day, just the beds made and thats it, no bins emptied or bathrooms cleaned and our friends didn't even have their beds made, when we complained about this on leaving reception staff were very disinterested! Good points are the pool (no pool towels tho)and breakfast.

Easy to get to the historic district of Savannah from the hotel, with good restaurants in the surrounding environment and close to Highway 95. I highly recommend this hotel especially for anyone traveling with a dog.

This hotel is terrible: the room was dirty and worn, the rug was filthy and smelled, the towels were old and smelled used like they hadn't been laundered, the pillows were half size and again, smelled dirty, the bedding disheveled, the mattress uncomfortable

"Overcharge for Quality of Bedding..."

We were traveling south from Atlanta to St Agustine, Florida and decided to look at a hotel in this area. There are probably no less than ten hotels to choose from at this location and most of them would probably be classified in the mid range of cost/value. We decided on this Best Western Savannah Gateway. It was neat and clean on outside, landscaping well kept and foyer area, modern and updated with friendly staff and an attached to a Denny's. We assumed that the rooms would follow suit. We asked for a downstairs room and they offered us the Handicap/No smoking room, that boasts a refrigerator ( does that mean others do not have one?). We are not handicapped but wanted a downstairs location for luggage reasons. We drug our luggage inside of room and began to settle in for one evening. The room was dated but carpet was newer as well as furniture and green paint on walls. We proceeded to walk across the street to a near by restaurant. The bed we just " thought " was rough, until we actually bedded down for the night. I read, on trip advisors, where everyone else was bragging on their beds??....I don't know. The box springs were even sagging, the mattress and box springs were worn out and would guess the "Effective" age of this mattress was close to 25 yrs old ??. Maybe they have replaced beds, in other rooms, except for Handicap? We are retired...so maybe we are at the age that we expect a bed to be newer and comfortable, and for $100.00 a night...is that unreasonable??? We could have chosen a less pricy hotel and then we would expect older, worn out mattresses??. Please also remember to check out these older, Ventless AC/ Heaters. Our AC unit worked great, as far as temperatures/fan goes. What we did not notice, until late at night is that every time the AC Compressor kicks on, it sounds like a train rolling through your bedroom??. Oh my, we did not sleep well, at all. Unless this room is atypical, we do suggest you view your room first; turn on your AC unit, sit on the bed and bounce a couple of times, lie down, check to see how flat your pillows may be, pull the sheet back and see if your box springs are yellow with age and if they appear to sag. If you notice any of the foregoing and/or if your quality of sleep is important to you, you may want to consider a different hotel. On a positive note, The staff was friendly and Accomodating, grounds were well kept and is in walking distance of several eat places. Their Continental Breakfast has to be the highlight of OUR stay. That CB menu was varied, the eating area was clean, the waitstaff was very eager to see to anyone/everyone's need or requests.........very kind and helpful sweet lady. We Won't revisit this Best Western....and will always be skeptical of any other Best Western Hotels without an in-room inspection before booking. Good Luck!!

Was very impressed with the hotel and its size. The breakfast was extremely good and they used quality items. The bed was really comfortable and I would love to know where I can get one for myself! The staff at check in was very efficient and helpful! I will definitely stay there again when I go up North form next visit!

We drove from CT to FL with another family and I picked this location for a 1 night stopover based on convenience, location and price. We arrived at the hotel at 10 am, much to early for an early check in, but the front desk receptionists let us use the lobby bathroom to freshen up and gave us some very good advice on spending the day in Historic Savannah. Upon return to this hotel, our check in process was quick and were given 2 adjoining first floor rooms overlooking the pool area. The children were able to use the pool while the adults relaxed and the noise from I95 was minimal. There are a few chain type restaurants within walking distance and we had an enjoyable dinner at Houlihan's. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet and the wifi worked just fine. The exterior of the hotel was well kept and the area seemed safe. There were plenty of breakfast options included in the free breakfast and the 2 women working it were friendly and helpful. Another staff member went out of her way to open the pool early for me so I could read while the rest of my party was getting ready to leave. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in this area.

This was a very nice looking facility with comfortable beds, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast with many items. The breakfast had both cold items like cereal and bagels, and hot items such as waffles, eggs and sausage, and sausage gravy and biscuits. More complete breakfast than any place we have stayed. It also had fresh fruit, which I really liked.

I was traveling alone so decided to stay at a 'cheap' hotel and take my chances. This was as nice as any Best Western I have stayed in before, even at double the price. I was quite pleasantly surprised -- the hotel was clean and comfortable, and in my opinion is under-priced considering the other hotels in the area. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely stay at this location on my next trip through.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this Best Western at Exit 94 in Savannah. It is a great stopping off point on the way both to and from our Florida destination. Also it is at the same exit with The Shell House Restaurant which is very good.

Although the room was clean and nicely furnished, the pillows were lumpy, the towels were hard, the water pressure was very low and the experience with check in and check out were unsatisfactory due to misinformation given and reluctance to accommodate regarding payment

"Terrible beds with sheets that didn't fit"

We stayed in room 127 for 2 nights.We visited with family on the first night and were late getting to bed.The beds were only full sized.They were like sleeping on a trampoline and the sheets kept popping off.I should have called the front desk and complained but did not.We stayed for the second night and checked out the next morning.I spoke with the manager Steve and he did take off have the amount for the second night only.He told me there were supports under the bed that may have been knocked up when the maids cleaned the rooms.( We went back to the room and looked there were not any such supports even on the under side of the beds,there were also no supports of any kind just sitting on a metal frame) The bathroom smelled of mold.The best thing this hotel has going for it is the breakfast which was great and the lady who was working in the breakfast area took pride in her work and kept everything hot and fresh.The clerks at the desk were also very courteous and the one who checked us out suggested I talk with the on duty manager which was named Steve and to be honest this manager obviously did not have a clue what goes on in the rooms since he thought the beds had supports under them.My advise for Steve is get out of the office and take a walk and check out the rooms.Oh I also forgot to say the sheet had a tear on the side of it and caught my toe as I got out of bed and almost caused me to fall.I was lucky enough not to fall.

The room was clean with sheets and a blanket between (which are preferred) vs a comforter. The water pressure in the shower took a little time to adjust but it was a nice soft shower. Being a Motel next to I-95, the traffic noise was not too bad until there was an accelerating motorcycle or truck. I slept well. Breakfast hosted by Denny's was good with a great selection but, the coffee could have been a little stronger. All types of milk was provided including Silk. If something was needed, all one had to do is ask one of the great staff. We were hoping to get an early check-in but they would not accommodate this since our pre-assigned room was not clean at our time of arrival. (2 PM) i.e. They would not afford us a room that may have been already prepared.

Alert protect your belongings. Do not stay here! Your belongings are not safe!!! I stayed here in late March 2016 and put my things securely in my room. When we came back from a short dinner, Thousands of dollars' worth of gold, diamond heirloom jewelry gone! The front desk and management have been completely uncooperative to say the least. No security whatsoever. No camera in our area, management has refused for several weeks to even read the key card door lock! After police involvement, and many phone calls to the management of this hotel my things are just gone. I have recently found out that this hotel is for sale. Please if you value your things, DON'T STAY HERE!

This BW property is conveniently located off of I-95 and fairly close to Savannah. The parking is good and I found my room clean. Though on the side facing I-95 I did not hear much road noise. The property needs updating but there were workers there doing just that. The front desk staff were friendly and the breakfast was okay. If you want more in the morning, there are several nearby restaurants. My only complaint is the wi-fi was iffy in the morning. The value is good for what you get. As a member of HOG I got a decent discount and the stop was well worth it.

We stay at Best Western hotels often when travelling. This is an older hotel but the price was right. On our one night stay, the room was ok except for two things: 1) There was someone else's garbage in one of the waste baskets, and 2) There were layers of tissue (possibly toilet tissue) under the rubber anti-slip mat in the bathtub. The tissue shredded and floated about when my wife took a bath. Yuk! Very strange, we believe that room make-up service must be below par here.

about 15 minutes of historic Savannah. Great accommodations, very nice staff and excellent breakfast. Everything was in working condition. The room was nicely appointed. Good night sleep on very comfortable mattresses and puffy pillows.

Room was very out dated. Bathroom dirty. carpet sticky. Wear slippers at all times. Walls dirty. Staff friendly. Courteous. Free breakfast. Quiet area. Felt safe staying. All in all, ok but would recommend a deep cleaning and bathrooms need to be cleaned better.

We made a three week road trip recently making reservations we went. We stayed in Best Western Hotels at least 85% of the time because the desk staff was so helpful with making our last minute reservations. The accommodations were always clean, neat and comfortable. I particularly like the room lamps with electrical outlets at the base because I have to use a breathing machine and we did not have to move furniture to get it connected. Thank you BEST WESTERN

My husband and I reserved the room ahead of time. We stopped here on our way to hilton head and checked in late. Both lady's at the front desk were funny and very helpful. Room was perfect for what we needed. Definitely an older hotel,but still was very clean,including the bathroom! Bed was very comfortable and provided us with a good night's sleep before our travels the next day. Breakfast was ok the next morning. Had a little something for everyone. Would stop here again!

Reserved it ahead of time for one night. Returning home to florida. This was our 4th and last hotel on this trip. I dc it wasn't to late to cancel I would have left. Girl at the front desk was nice enough to give me non smoking even though it was suppose to cost more but the room we were given had a super strong bad smell. It was dark , didn't look too clean. But the smell was actually coming from 2 out of 3 pillows on my bed. It's like tons of musky hair products. We had some blankets and pillows of our own thank goodness. The water smelled bad when you turned it on even. It's a dump and I would not stay here again. I will say their blackout blinds had me thinking it was the middle of the night at 8 am.

Just off 1-95 , many well name restaurants in walking distance including one at motel. Not far from historic Savanna, and many stores. Room was clean enough, beds comfortable , great channels on tv, wifi was good, shower was good and continental breakfast was ok. We stayed two nights and would stay again if came back this way. I looked for something bad to say for the price which was very inexpensive but came up empty.

The hotel is right off the I-95 but the intersection is a civic engineer's nightmare. Access and egress problems notwithstanding, the hotel is located in a decent retail and hospitality area and only a 15 - 20 minute drive to downtown Savannah. The rooms are clean enough and internet access was good.

easy access to/from I 95... it was nice to have a TV with high definition and great that this hotel offers king sized beds in pet friendly rooms....great food in Dennys' adjacent to hotel....but the hotel definitely could do with an update.....air conditioner so noisy we had to turn it off so we could get some sleep .

This Best Western was a very nice hotel very convenient to Interstate 95 and the City of Savannah. It is especially nice if you wish to stay outside the city but within 20 minutes from downtown. The breakfast was minimal but acceptable. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Thanks for having Fox News on in the breakfast room!!

Got a king, non-smoking room on the first floor. The entry door had a gap and not great, but it did lock securely. I didn't like that gap. The air conditioner was so loud, we had to shut it off to sleep. So the room was too hot and not comfortable. This hotel was a disappointment. I generally like Best Westerns. Pros: the free breakfast was quite good and various choices. The price wasn't bad for a Best Western, but condition of the room evens that all out. Bed was comfortable.

This is a descent hotel, nothing special. Rooms are small (double beds), not the cleanest I've ever seen either. Beds are old and wore out. Now after saying that, I would stay here again, no problems at all got some rest and a shower and a hot breakfast for four of us all the sixty bucks! So you can't beat this place if you're on a budget, and right off I 95.

Overall the room was small, beds were uncomfortable, and the black mold in the sink was disgusting. I think everyone knows what black mold can cause. The lighting was terrible in the room. When we arrived we only had one two for two people but that problem was solved once the staff was notified. The continental breakfast was great and the ladies there certainly shared their southern hospitality.

Great place , next to I-95 and really a quick (15 minute) drive to downtown Savannah.We use this as a stopping place on our way to and from Florida.Love the fact we are so close to downtown Savannah. We found this place almost by accident and it is where we stay in this area.

We stopped at the Best western just off I 95 at Savannah exit. The price was reasonable and the service and accomodation was very good. There were gas stations and lots of restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast was very good and service was excellent.

Stopped on the way to Florida, price was right. A pipe had burst outside the hotel and some of the grounds were torn up. Looks like it is about time to start replacing furniture and carpet. The room was clean and had everything we needed for one night, would return. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff were great.

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel while passing through/touring Savannah in room 146. The room was dark, and beds not super comfy (I have a great bed so I'm a bed snob)... and it had a damp, moldy smell...but all in all it was decent enough. The breakfast was limited and garbages needed emptying... but again, it was decent enough. Would likely try to stay elsewhere next time... though nothing was "wrong" per se, I would definitely like something just a bit better...

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel while traveling to Florida. The first time was out of necessity and this stay was due to having enough points to stay free. The hotel is fairly quiet and the rooms are clean. Nothing fancy and a bit dated, but otherwise fine. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is very good and well stocked. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows weren't very good. The internet worked well.

This hotel is reasonably priced and is well situated for histroric Savannah. However we stayed for one night and did not have any hot water in either of the two rooms on the evening of our arrival. Having travelled for most of the day, this was really annoying. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable although the heater was loud when turned on. Breakfast choice was disappointing so we chose to eat elsewhere.

Well kept older facility. Nothing really negative to say, but nothing to gush about either. Grounds and facilities were clean, litter free. Room, shower, carpet all clean. Breakfast was average, standard for a continental breakfast. Hostesses were kind and sweet.

Heater sounded like a jet taking off when it started each time. Refrigerator made noise when running. Large gaps between door and walls to where I had to place a pillow against the gap to keep the cold air out.

"Served the purpose"

This was my second stay here (the first was 2011) and my initial impression held: this Best Western is adequate for an overnight stay on the way to somewhere else, and that's about it. The room was clean and the staff pleasant, but my mattress was miserable - rather like sleeping on a lumpy marshmallow. Breakfast was standard, although I was pleased to find adult yogurt choices. However, it was pouring rain and there was no way to reach the breakfast room without going out from under cover - there should be a covered walkway. Again, the motel served the purpose, but would not inspire me to stay there again while there are so many other choices at this particular exit off Interstate 95!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff that goes the extra mile. Hotel is comfortable, beautiful and almost new. I felt safe and comfortable in the hotel, the location of the hotel is convenient off I95. And is minutes to the Tanger outlets. Will make it a regular stop in my travels.

The breakfast was awesome and the help was friendly. The only problem is to be sure to locate your room on the side of the motel away from I95. Very noisy on the I95 side due to road noise. I will definitely stay here again. Ps: Also a 24 hour Denny's located in the motel.

The location is located right off I-95 and about 15 minutes from Downtown Savannah. There are many restaurants nearby, Denny's is shared the same building as check-in desk. You won't go hungry if you stay at this hotel. The room is clean (no bed bugs, I checked twice!), very roomy. The breakfast is typical continental breakfast, it is good enough to have something in your tummy to start the day. If you like something more fancy, just go to Denny's. This location has plenty of parking spaces, next to I-95 and 204 (go to Tybee Island and Downtown Savannah). The bed is OK, I was so tired with all the driving from Atlanta and to/from Jacksonville, so I slept well. I would recommend this hotel and looking forward to stay at this location again in my next trip. Ps. The ladies at the breakfast room are exceptionally nice and helpful.

Stay clear of Best Western at Savannah Gateway in Savannah Ga.. Dirty and smelly room and this was the Handicap room. Sure it's off I-95 and its convenient. But if I had to do it again, I would spend the extra $10 to $20 to stay at one of the Choice Hotels or the Marriott chain.

This hotel is a bit dated. However I must say the staff are great. We had a concern with our bed and the manager Steve Norment explained the issue they were having and took care of situation. I am rating sleep quality as terrible because I bed was not comfortable due to box spring problems. This is being corrected I have been told so this should no longer be a concern.

I stayed in room 252 on 1/09/16-1/10/16 me and my husband had to move rooms twice that night before.the young lady at the the desk was very helpful in our move. We called the desk and ask was it ok to stay another night and the desk clerk said let her check the availability and she would call me right back and she did do so the young lady said she spoke with her manager and she said it was ok not a problem.well this where it comes to be a problem we made plans on staying my husband call the desk and the clerk stayed the hotel was booked for the night so I ask to speak to a manager she said she will have her call me .so she does hang up on me twice before I speak to her I ask her name she stated Miah very rude young lady she stated the hotel was booked that was a lie and we had to check out I will never stay at this location as long as she a manager

The stay was ok but the bathroom had a lot of hairs that didn't belong to me or my room mate. However the older lady who conducts breakfast is brilliant!! She is warm gracious and engaging. Food presentation and quality was perfect for the price.

Stayed on 12/26/15...w/my wife and 2 daughters. We were traveling to Fla. and stopped here as it was about halfway. Check-in was fast, and our room was clean and comfortable. Easy to get to from I-95. There are places to eat nearby. Breakfast was adequate and free, nice way to start the next leg of our trip. Check-out was fast. I would recommend this property for any purpose.

The prices are very good, our room was super clean and comfortable and the staff superb and accommodating. We have stayed here before, several times, and will stay again. Convenient to historic downtown (15 mins or so), nice restaurants close by, but far enough off the beaten track to not be bogged down by crazy traffic. Breakfast is so so, but so it is with every hotel these days....fills you up, but nothing to write home about. We will stay again when we return to visit Savannah.

My husband and I stayed one night on our way to Florida. The hotel staff was very nice and the room was comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast on Christmas morning and the staff was very helpful. Comfortable bed, nice shower and clean room. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone traveling on I-95. Very convenient to the interstate and lots of good restaurants within walking distance.

Good chain hotel. Pet friendly. Friendly staff. Only issue was lack of workout area and equipment. No real problems. When I have made suggestions to the staff, the next time I came to the place, those suggestions had been implemented.

Check in was easy and the breakfast buffet was good. We selected this motel because it is dog friendly. However, between the road noise from route 95 being extremely loud and the very uncomfortable bed, we had a very restless night.

"Okay for just sleeping"

Our room was clean and the property felt safe. For as cheap as it was, that's about the best you can hope for. The whole complex seems old and dated. Our carpet, although clean and not torn or anything, had seen better day. The doors were hard to close (hated having to slam it at 6 in the morning). Breakfast wasn't good. It wasn't terrible, just okay, barely. There is an attached Denny's that's opened 24 hours but it was also run down. We only had a dessert there, which was okay but not "good". There was a guy talking to the manager about having an entree removed from his bill. There are restaurants very nearbly however. So if you're traveling, going to get there late, crash and leave first thing in the morning, then this is fine. Any longer than that and I'd recommend one of the neighboring places (at a price 50% higher).

Nice place close to Interstate - a little too close since lots of traffic noise. Lobby shared with Denny's. Front desk provided handout with list of breakfast items including bacon - but no bacon in the morning! Grrrr. WiFi very good as was TV. Large room with fridge and nice table with two chairs. No desk though although there is plenty of room. Grab rail in shower.

Room was clean and most everything worked except for the TV remote and the hair dryer. It was OK for an overnight stop along I 95 and it was affordable. Breakfast was nothing special and coffee was not that good but they did have a Keurig in the front desk area and it had some very nice coffee choices.

This is definitely an older hotel that has had some minor updating, painting. It is your basic outside entry room that was pretty clean except for the carpet. It was located on the back side of the property (not next to I 95) and was quiet and convenient for our stopover going south. Staff were very nice and accommodating. However There were two issues with the room, carpet felt sticky and needed cleaning and the toilet seat was broken. Both issues will be brought to BW's attention when we rate the hotel through their standard survey after our stay. If u want something more updated, stay somewhere else.

Nice clean room, even for a room that accommodates pets. (We brought two small dogs.) The area is very humid, everything felt damp until we started running the AC. The free breakfast is good, however all the meat selections are pork. Having the Denny's in side was a big plus. This was a family Christmas trip, so I really appreciate the staff being so courteous. The mattresses had absolutely no support. The name implies it's in Savannah, GA, but it's 15 ,miles away from it.

We stayed here last year also on our way south. Basic accommodations that we accessed with hotel coupon app. Breakfast not very good - disorganized and fruit did not seem to be fresh. But, coffee and a bagel and yogurt were all we needed and they were provided, so for the price we were happy! Downside is parking lot is very open and we worried about our "stuff" in plain site in back of our SVU so unloaded a lot of it for peace of mind. Second floor...no elevator...was daunting!

Many hotels are a challenge for a person who is in a wheelchair, this was no exception. We did get a room on the first floor. The room was small and a tight fit for the wheelchair. The bathroom was not accessible for a shower, no seat, but as usual plenty of grab bars. The internet was weak and it could have been cleaner. Just OK

Stopped overnight and pleased with friendly staff and service. Our room was clean and fresh. We are at Danny's onsite and had a good meal if club sandwiches with fries. Next morning, we took advantage of the free breakfast of waffles, omlets, drinks,etc. Again, friendly staff. We will return.

We needed a hotel next to I-95 to continue our way home from North Caroline to Miami. This hotel was perfect. 15 min fron Historic Savanahh permitted us to sighseeing the city stay for dinner and returned to the hotel for the night. Rooms are very clean same as the bathroom that had 2 head showers!! amazing. King bed super comfortable. Great full breakfast included.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on our way home during Thanksgiving wknd. We were exhausted and just needed a place to crash. We booked it the day before and called to advise of our late arrival. I picked this hotel of convenience – next to I-95, and it had a low economic price with free parking and free breakfast. My stay was perfect, or what you would consider ‘just exactly what I needed'. We arrived at 1am and our room was clean, decent with no smells, it was facing the parking lot (not the highway). A/C had a bearable white noise (Room 208), the heater (it was a 30s night) worked good. Towels were not fluffy, but did the job and the free breakfast was a plus. We only had waffles and coffee but enough to get us thru the next stop. TV had the news/weather channels we needed for information to continue on our trip. For those reasons: cleanliness, convenience, features and free parking/breakfast, I must give this hotel a 4 stars based on price. It delivered! Best Western kept it to its standards. Will definitely stay here again. P.S: I would not consider this a vacation nor a resort hotel. If you are looking to spend more than few nights, I would suggest to invest more $$$$. If you are not crazy about the free breakfast, across the street there is an Ihop and 5 steps away, a Denny's and McDonald's. Can't go wrong!

One good thing about Best Western is their continental breakfasts but I have had much better breakfasts at some of the other properties. With that said and done, the staff was very accommodating and courteous, it was near restaurants and shopping and we were very comfortable in the room. It was clean. You also don't want to spend too much time in your room and explore the history and waterfront in Savannah!

We made the reservation as a just in case for traveling home from Fort Lauderdale. We found out we were not going to be able to make the reservation. I called around 5:30 to cancel and the lady smugly told me I would still be charged because I was 1.5 hours late. Hmmm.... A hotel right off an interstate on the Saturday after thanksgiving. Sounds like they will pocketing the extra $$$ because I'm sure the room will be booked tonight. Very Shady if you ask me. My family and I will not be staying with Best Western ever again. There was a discrepancy among the cancellation policy on the email and the one from the hotel. This hotel and corporate refused any kind of refund or voucher.

Room was okay. Typical of Best Western. Clean but old. But their Staff were friendly & was pleasantly surprised to see vast array of food. Was expecting only bunch of carbs like bread & muffin but they had eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cereal, Jimmy Dean sausage, egg & cheese croissant, waffles, muffins, bagels, apples, bananas, fruit cups, and oranges. Not to mention Denny's in the hotel U.S. open 24/7. Will choose this place again in future stay.

Last minute trip to Savannah so somewhat limited on choices. Usually stay at BW plus and use/accrue rewards points.. Most hotels give a small bag of snacks since we are platinum members, not this one. The room was average except the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The in room phone had black mold on the spiral cord connecting to receiver to the phone. Missed the little perks of shampoo, body wash and soaps.

Had t o store so items in a frig but we booked too late for a room with a fridge. The front desk offered room in their fridge, then 1 hr later the late night staff called us to let u know a room with Fridge was then available if we wanted to move. I am not the type of person whom regularly reviews places but this experiance called for a fair warning to others. We tried two different rooms while we were there. The first room smelled like cat urine and had a large wet spot in front of the ac. when we turned the heat on it set off the fire alarm and smelled like burning rubber. when we switched rooms they put us in a room without a fridge and microwave and i have a little one so i have thimgs that must be refrigerated. I asked if they had another room and they tried to put me back in the first room because the first woman I delt with had marked it as clean in the computer so they could really sell it. The blankets on the bed appeared thin, no comforter. The bed was hard. Television didnt want to turn on and when it finally did it wad very poor quality. Over all one of the WORST experiences of my life. If it were possible to give it 0 stars I would

This place is okay for the price. Rooms were okay and clean but the outside of the Hotel on the pathways could do with a good Power Wash as they were pretty grotty. The room doors were built like fortresses so either that tells you that there has been a problem in the building sometime in the past or somebody spent a fortune on the wrong things at this hotel. The breakfast was pretty good. The area had a lot of police cars cruising by each time we looked out or were outside so maybe there is a problem in the area though we didn't have any trouble

Great beds great hotel and the staff was wonderful it was pouring down raining off of Highway 95 I got off and before 3 check in the staff already had a room for me the young lady at the front desk was forgot her name fairskin pony tail excellent attentive and told me everything in the area including the restaurant inside which which was very convenient.. only reason that is not getting 5 stars is because the housekeepers are very loud in the morning before 11 o'clock with carts... will return soon Steve the general manager knows what he is doing at this location

We did not expect an A+ hotel since we have a dog. It was ok. Bathroom clean, had a fridge and microwave but the bottom sheet did not fit and kept wadding up under me. The baseboards were icky but the ac was great and it smelled fine. I would give it a C+. The free breakfast was VERY nice and the 2 staff members we met were too. We will stay there again if they still allow pets.

"Dirty and uncomfortable"

We checked (easy check-in, nice staff) in after driving 12 1/2 hours. It was late in the evening, so we put our luggage in the room and went to dinner. We came back to the room and relaxed, watching TV. After feeling a sharp object against my foot, we noticed that the carpet was full of fingernail/toenail clippings under and around the table. Disgusting!!! Since we were in nightclothes, and it was after midnight, we took tissues and cleaned them up ourselves. The internet WiFi was abysmal and we had to disable it to use our phones. The beds were terrible--lumpy mattresses and bowed in the middle. The only positives were that the staff was cordial, and the breakfast was tasty.

Rooms unsatisfactory. Carpet dirty and worn. Mold on baseboards in corner. Paid extra for pet but no waste receptacle. Given room on second floor and had to carry luggage up stairs (I am a handicapped senior). Terrible water odor.

We went to Savannah, and this was a nice clean room, pet friendly, close to town with great prices and a good breakfast. There are a lot of places to eat near the hotel, and you can be in downtown Savannah in about 15 minutes, more during rush hour. We have stayed twice, and would return.

Have stayed here the last few times I have been in Savannah and have been very pleased with the property. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very polite. It is also Cycle friendly, with decent rates.

We stayed in Savannah for the night on our way to Myrtle Beach and we loved this hotel. It's in a great location. It's ten minutes away from River Street and in the middle of a good neighborhood. The Hotel was very clean, the workers were pleasant, and the beds were comfortable. It was a great stay.

Warm welcome on arrival to spot just off I95 surrounded by fast food restaurants and other inns. Had reservation but receptionist had just made calls to find room elsewhere for guests who had none since hotel was sold out. Convenient parking in front of room in this motel style Best Western, with clean room, large very comfortable bed and unusual shower with two separate rain shower heads.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were very accommidating when we needed to add an extra night to our stay. Having Dennys on site was handy but the free breakfast was terrific. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is located close to everything we wanted to do.

"Pretty good."

The hotel was decently nice in a seemingly good area. The downplay was the air conditioner was pretty loud. And that the beds were uneven or lumpy. It wasn't bad for the cost. Our keys didn't work the second night so we called the hotel using my cell and they were there to let us in within a minute. Overall Fantastic service. Pretty good. Surrounded by several restaurants.

"worst night ever"

The Bed did NOT have sheets that fit, so all night i had to get up and try to put them on again so i was not sleeping on just the mattress. One of the beds mattress was so (or the frame) badly warn that if you sat or laid on that part you would fall off.

"Amazing Value"

When writing this opinions I always take into account the price. Obviously you can ask the same to a 50 euros hotel that to a 500 euros one, can you? We got a double room for 60euros and got amazing quality for that price. This hotel is just 15 minutes away, by car, from Savannah's riverfront. The hotel was clean, the beds were super comfortable and the employees were really nice offering suggestions and advice. Special regards for the breakfast. I have been to 4 star hotels in USA which less options! Well done!

"Good but..."

The hotel was general satisfactory. But, the price for the quality was high in my opinion. But, that is what happens at popular locations. You rarely get what you pay for in hotels. It was nice to have an adequate size pool rather than a small pool. Luckily, it was outside our door so we adults could sit around and visit. Plenty of places to eat for all middle class traveling pallets.

"Hotel Provides Free Wake Up Calls With Honda Horns and Employee Kids"

Once again, tired and flat worn out from another leisure day on the road, check in problems arose. The room assigned to us already had an occupant. Gladly, the guest was out as I kept ramming the plastic key in it's slot. Another trip to the office resolved the problem. A hot shower and a case of exhaustion brought on a peaceful and comfortable sleep. Sadly, the alarm clock, a dark purple Honda, I believe, with two young children in it, found the horn. Someone one else must have called because a young lady, later identified as an employee, came sliding around the walkway yelling at the children. The honking stopped as did the sleep. Other than that, an excellent place to stay with easy access to the highway. And yes, I would stay there again.

The hotel needs some TLC. The rugs and mattresses need some help. The old saying, "You get what you pay for" says it all at the hotel. The staff was very professional and friendly. The continental breakfast was just OK nothing special. The hotel in conveniently located along I95 so it was convenient for our traveling.

This was a great place to stay if you are just passing through. I however was not and should have done a little more research on the location. My room was nice though and they did offer a free shuttle to downtown if you purchased a tour bus ticket (around $32)

I was driving up I-95 and planned to stay here....but I made a mistake in my reservation. I had reserved and paid for a room for the pervious night...but the manager gave me a "free" room when I got there a day late! This was above and beyond and much appreciated. My room was clean and updated in terms of furnishings and the hot breakfast of eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, etc was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel!

A nice place to stay. Bed a little too soft for my liking, but the staff was awesome! The shower head was clogged so it didn't work very well and the water tasted funny and smelled slightly. Otherwise the room was comfortable and clean. We checked out slightly later than checkout time but they were courteous and polite. I would stay here again.

Upon reading the reviews I booked this hotel for one night. The courteousness of the front desk was exceptional!! The breakfast had alot of choices and was very pleased overall with my stay. The room was clean and the decor was updated..i will definitely stay here again if I had to choose.
