"No accessible room unless you need it. Hotel very nice otherwise. "
Hotel and room very clean . Breakfast was very good. Was in an accessible room and the shower floor was almost flush to bathroom floor . With a shower curtain only there was water everywhere. Had to lay towels over the floor. This part was miserable. Hotel was booked so we were stuck there.

"Terrible tobacco smoke"
I decided to leave a review as I can't take it no longer. We are currently staying on a 5th floor. Since our check in day, someone is smoking in their room everyday. I advised front desk few time asking to find the source. Was promised to have the situation under control but it keeps happening over and over again in none smoking hotel. I am tired of complaining and asking to stop it as smell coming to our room. It's unacceptable for management not taking care of it after 3 days and treating their customers like this.

This hotel was very luxurious feeling. It was very clean and well maintained. Of all of the hotels I've EVER stayed at I would rank this in the top 3. Neat views from upper levels. Breakfast exceeded expectations and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate special requests!

"Nice stay"
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We were absolutely satisfied with the service and the location. Our room was very clean, the bathroom was also spacious. Breakfast was fine. The staff was very nice!

"A great place to stay"
Everyone was very helpful and when a need occurred, they were very responsive. The shower water pressure was fantastic. There were lots of good food selections for breakfast. The room was spacious, and we definitely made good use of the kitchenette. My husband appreciated the firmness of the bed. We were able to use the complimentary late checkout. All and all it was a relaxing 4-night stay.

"Great hotel in Sarasota"
Pro: Friendly front desk staff, Nancy switched our room to the side away from the highway. We got a top floor room (6th floor) as requested. Excellent breakfast by American standards. Good beds, modern bathroom... Con: No safe in the room. Too bad that no window can be opened, even if only on a small 'edge'.

"Clean and Tidy Base for Sarasota"
Immaculately prepared Rooms, neat tidy and well equipped. Plenty of Extras in the room, and a small fridge to keep drinks chilled. A nice varied breakfast, definitely something for everyone. BBQ areas and a nice pool are open until 10pm. We used as a base whilst visiting Sarasota and Siesta Key, early check inn too compared to some at 3pm

"Unpleasant surprise"
When we arrived we were told that they needed to move us to another (cheaper) hotel, they should have called us, and they wanted to charge us the same more expensive rate until I protested, the hotel was filled with illegal immigrants who had no manners and sat up half the night in the hall outside our room talking very loudly, shouting and laughing and I suspect drinking, very very hard to find staff at main desk or anywhere I would have to walk around looking for someone after waiting a long time for someone to show up I did not feel safe I stayed at Ameniti before and it was nice, this was not

"Great and comfortable hotel to stay"
Stayed for three nights during roundtrip in Florida and used hotel as basis to visit the surroundings, like beaches. Very good room, clean, comfortable bed, good shower and breakfast. Highly recommended

"Good Option"
I needed a place to stay worth the money. They have a good breakfast. It was close to the locations I needed to visit. The parking is included in the room price. The staff is professional and understanding.

"Basic, but clean, comfortable, modern hotel with helpful staff"
Basic but clean and comfortable hotel with good room, v helpful staff and decent breakfast. Staff recommended Gecko restaurant which was a short walk away and great food. Easy to find and just off the highway. Had a shared pool which looked ok, but didn't use this due to time available.
"Great nights sleep"
Great location near I 75 and only a few minutes from downtown Sarasota. Clean and comfortable beds with multiple pillows to chose from. Staff friendly and engaging making sure we had everything we needed.

The Magnolia Pointe, Best Western hotel is located just off I75 in Sarasota. Shopping and restaurants are close and ample. The hotel is new and very clean. The bed was so comfortable I'm going to ask the Manager the brand so I can get one. The employees I met were wonderful. This hotel will definitely be my choice when I am in Sarasota again. We weren't able to use the pool but I saw several guests that seemed to like it.

Magnolia Pointe is my home away from home. We live 1 hour south and I just book long weekends about 6 to 7 times a year. Great staff, clean rooms, great free breakfast. Close to restaurants, bars shopping.

The hotel was super clean, almost brand new, and the staff were friendly and polite. It's convenient to find, just off the interstate, with the most comfortable bed. Breakfast, tea and coffee, and other amenities available 24/7. A great place for a great nights sleep.

Very very clean property. Well maintained. Very professional and helpful front desk staff. A big thank you to Patrick. The breakfast area is excellent. Quite the selection which also included a waffle maker, commercial toaster conveyor, cooling juice station, oatmeal. Quiet location set back from the road. The pool was very nice. It is shared with another hotel but it is so big I don't think it becomes crowded. The lobby had complimentary USA Today papers. That is almost unheard of. You could see the pride in the property. We enjoyed our stay. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

My wife just kept on talking about how great this hotel was. It was located just right for us, easy to get into and out, also close to want we wanted to do. The main question is "would you stay here again?" The answer is " you bet we would."
"Awesome hotel central to everything"
Our extended family of five stayed in adjoining rooms on the sixth floor from April 2nd-7th. From the moment we walked through the door with a friendly welcome to checkout, we were impressed. The decor is modern and the two elevators are quick. Breakfast is from 6:00-10:00 daily. The highlights of the hotel are it's incredibly CLEAN, comfortable beds, pillows, and linens, well-lit rooms, good variety of food at breakfast, and excellent customer service from everyone we encountered during our stay. Kayla is a stand-out employee at the front desk. The housekeeping staff is on top of ensuring rooms are cleaned and restocked daily! I was so happy to see this happen as other hotels continue to do the minimum on longer stays these days. The zero gravity pool was a lot of fun on one of our non-beach days. Lots of restaurants are nearby, and we got carry-out from Jets pizza one night right down the road. This is a great gem of a hotel that strives to ensure you enjoy your stay.

this place was amazing and very clean. the staff was very accommodating with our many requests and questions. the breakfast was great and they had many options. don't even get me started on the pillows, it's was like sleeping a cloud. 10/10 would stay a again!!!!

Pros: New hotel with all modern facilities. Luckily there was breakfast buffet and no grab & go. Plenty of places in the breakfast room. Friendly staff at the reception. Negatives · Fruit was not replenished at the breakfast buffet, very thin walls
"Good Four Night Stay"
Nice hotel, clean comfortable. Reasonable breakfast selections. Currently very overpriced. Made a three night reservation several months prior & then recently added a fourth night which cost almost as much as the first three nights combined.
"Staff and Facility is Wonderful"
I had read all of the reviews before staying at the BW Magnolia Pointe Hotel in Sarasota and had expectations for a good hotel, but I must say that it is fantastic! It is pretty basic hotel, with exceptional staff who keep it extrememly clean and take excellent care of their guests. The hotel is conveniently located, and we found it easy to get to Siesta Key, Downtown, and other spots.

Don't ruin what you have by jacking the rates .The location could of been more seclusive it is on a major road and a very busy side street.The pool area was very nice but they need a few more loungers.But for me it is still a 4.5 star.

I have travelled for over 30 years for work, and this is BY FAR THE BEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER ARAYED AT. This property is THE CLEANEST HOTEL EVER. A MUST STAY if your in the Sarasota area! Very professional and courteous staff.
"Great stay"
This was our 4th stay at the Magnolia and will continue each time we are in the area. Love the baggage cadies at the front entry. Always request the 6th floor so no one is above you making noise at night. Would like to see more security during the night for noise concerns.
"A Tale of Two Hotels"
Pros - The hotel had some very hard working employees, especially a brunette at the front desk. The hotel was clean, had a very good variety of hot food for breakfast, and had good WiFi. Location great. Sheets and pillows very comfortable. Cons - Very thin walls, poorly constructed. Hot and cold reversed on bathroom faucet. Very noisy neighbors. Fitness room had two treadmills, one elliptical, and a rowing machine. They also had some weights. One treadmill broken, with error message. Elliptical worked the first day, but was broken after that. Maintenance couldn't fix. Was told to go next door, to the sister hotel, Ameniti Bay. That fitness room was similar, but only had one treadmill. The display on the treadmill at Ameniti Bay didn't work. No mats in either hotel. No spray or wipes (which should be mandatory, considering the time that we are in). No 10 pound dumbbells in either hotel. Weird. They are trying in some areas, but need work in others. I'll try Ameniti Bay next time, as it is only a few dollars more expensive, but is much more aesthetically pleasing. Also, the breakfast looks even better.
"No Insulation in walls but nice staff clean rooms"
So staff was very nice and room service was great too. Came back to my room cleaned and restocked. However… there is ZERO insulation between the walls. You can hear every conversation, tv, toilet, shower, sneeze, cough, etc in the rooms next door and hallway. I stayed 6 nights and never had a good night sleep. Called front desk my first 3 nights and still heard yelling and doors slamming shut from a family that had kids playing in hallway. I had to open the door and tell them to stop. You can hear every car drive by outside. The hotel is nice and new but very poorly insulated.
"Short overnight trip for pleasure"
We stayed at the magnolia pointe hotel associated with best western family of hotels and the next day went to the Mote aquarium. The night of our arrival we ate at Geckos near the hotel. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas really pretty and comfortable setting. The selection of food was varied and delicious. Our server was Amanda she made feel like family, great personality and helpful with the menu. The trip couldn't have been better. The hotel was delightful, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was a plus, a good selection of food and nicely decorated. We will definitely stay there again when up that way next time.

"Exceeded expectations for a 2 star hotel"
My 3 day stay was really very good. Reviews had said this hotel was rated well for cleanliness and I agree based on my own observation. I liked the outdoor heated pool a lot. The room had 2 queen beds and I was alone so had room to spread out. The included warm breakfast included self prepared waffled. Each morning there were eggs and sausage or french toast or pancakes. There was an outdoor seating area that I preferred over the lobby, which was air conditioned to a rather chilly degree. The location is convenient to the interstate. It is about 20 minutes to the beach. There are quite a few restaurants within a few minutes drive, a couple of supermarkets and a Target.

"Very nice and clean"
Fairly new hotel. Comfortable and clean with friendly staff. My only complaint would be very thin walls. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs. You may also be able to request a room away from highway.

"Business/ pleasure"
My husband and I recently stayed for 6 nights. I wanted to keep my expenses down, so I wasn't expecting a whole lot. We were both pleasantly surprised! Room was clean ( which is my top priority) and spacious. Breakfast was an added bonus- something for everyone and more. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to so many shops/ restaurants and points of interest. Room was quiet ( 6th floor). We would definitely stay again while visiting the Sarasota area!

"Surprised"
This hotel was super clean. The staff was amazing. Close by shopping, restaurants, and much more. Breakfast was ok considering covid. I will be staying again. You won't be disappointed. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I slept late daily. The pool is located at their sister hotel just steps away.

"Great place to stay!"
Stayed four nights with family and friends for a wedding. Good breakfast with great gathering area. Rooms were spacious and clean. Salt water pool area is nice. Good location by I-75. 15 minute drive to beaches. Close to Detwiler's Farm Market!

"Satis fied"
Very clean hotel I always saw someone cleaning the property in and out. Room was perfect no complaints. Excellent shower pressure. A c. Perfect. Definitely will stay again Pool was very maintained. "My favorite hotel chain"
Wow.!!! They treat me like family. The rooms are super clean. The continental breakfast is always hot and delicious.. please , please stay at this hotel. My situation for having to stay here is my apt is not ready where I am going to be working and living. So needless to say I am STRESSED. the staff here has been so accommodating, above and beyond my expectations.. HUGE shoutout to Patrick , Selena , and Aaron. If I could give more than 5 stars , I would.. the cleaning staff is also hard at work every minute of the day. Even the ladies that prepare the breakfast are exceptional. I dont have enough words to say about my experience here.. I love this place.. keep up the great job everyone. You are loved by my wife and myself..

Hotel looks new, conveniently located next to 75 as well as shops and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and clean. If light sleep try to avoid rooms facing Fruitville Rd. Staff is very attentive and professional

"This is the place for you!"
My husband and I just needed a night away for our anniversary. We knew we didn't want to stay near 41, or the beach due to red tide. This is a new hotel, close to the highway but we didn't hear any traffic. You can walk to nearby restaurants and are less than 20 minutes from Siesta Key. The staff was fantastic, even when I called the front desk to help me reset the TV after I messed it up. This was the PERFECT place for a romantic evening, and we wish we had the whole weekend to spend here. Not one thing to complain about. Stay here, period!

"Family friendly"
Cute place and decent location. A good amount of restaurants within 1-5 miles. It took us 20 min to get to Siesta beach. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. I didn't really care for the complimentary breakfast. Was annoyed that the drain to the shower was slow and backed up. Like that it came with a fridge and microwave. The front desk snacks are overpriced. You're better off going to Target right down the street. The walls are paper thin. All we heard was footsteps

"home away from home"
3rd time we have stayed there tis year. Staff is wonderful and makes you feel like family. Rooms are clean and comfortable and quiet. Love the pool area which has separate bathrooms. In the evening we can kick back at the patio area behind the hotel and enjoy the evening.

"Excellent Hotel"
This was the first time I ever stayed at a BW Signature Collection Hotel and it was wonderful. From the lobby to the guest room, to amenities, the experience was wonderful! The lobby was clean, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Also, very spacious, as well. Breakfast, although modified, was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. This hotel is a gem. I would definitely stay here again!

"Great stay!"
Had a very nice stay! The hotel was clean staff was amazing. Kids had a blast in the pool. Breakfast was okay. Overall for the price great value! We stay for baseball and we Already have our next stay booked!

"Great hotel and great value"
The people and facility at Magnolia point exceeded my expectations in all ways. There were no problems at all. Clean Rooms, helpful staff and quick service. I highly recommend this location. Great place.

"Outstanding Stay"
I can't say enough about the excellent service I received by the front desk, housekeeping and kitchen staff. The warm cookies and fresh lemon water were a welcomed treat. My guest room was very clean and my bed felt very luxurious. The breakfast was always hot with a variety to select from. I am looking forward to my next visit to Sarasota and my stay at Magnolia Pointe!

"Absolutely comfortable stay."
The management and other employees were great. I always felt comfortable , got great service my entire stay. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable, the pool was very nice. There was literally nothing that didn't meet or exceed my expectations. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

"Overnight stay"
Really nice hotel to spend the night. Young man at check in was very nice and helpful. Felt safe even though the west coast of Florida is not big on mask wearing. Room was clean. I had a small room with a king bed. Very comfortable. Has a fridge and small coffee maker in the room. They also let me bring my bike in my room so I did not have to leave it in my truck. They have a breakfast. They closed off an area and one of the hotel employees serves and prepares the the food for you so there is no contact from other guests. I would defiantly stay again.

"Beautiful hotel"
Gorgeous rooms, quiet hotel, perfect location. I'd book again, either for business or personal trip, no question. It was recently remodeled and looks amazing on the outside as well as the inside. Friendly staff, unintrusive cleaning staff..two thumbs up!

"Perfect Location & Great People!"
Very clean hotel. Great people! The staff made even the trips downtime a blast! Comfortable beds, and a great outdoor patio to relax. They have the nicest pool I have ever seen at a hotel! I will most definitely stay there again on our next trip!

"Needs some more tweaking "
Pros: clean rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff Cons: ice machine not working (staff unaware), housekeeping didn't leave any clean towels (had to get them from front desk), fire pit not working (staff unaware.. but I had specifically mentioned how excited I was to have a fire pit when I booked with hotel directly), No TV or telephone directory in room (had to phone front desk on where to find the TV channel guide.. staff unaware. No ‘Guide' button on TV so I had to manually flip through each station to find the channel lineup.. finally found it on channel 7). Not a horrible experience but not the experience that I was expecting based on the prior reviews or the hotel website. I was aware that hotel was in the process of being rebranded so I knew there was a little bit of change going on.. just not to the extent that I experienced. Maybe we'll stay again in a couple of years after all the growing pains are done.

"So friendly!"
I have stayed here several times and all of the staff members I have met here are so friendly and so helpful in such a warm and genuine way. The manager who is usually there, Rhonda, is always such a pleasure to see and is so helpful with any questions about the stay or anything else that has come up. The rooms are always beautiful, clean, and well kept. I will never stay anywhere else in Sarasota after so many positive experiences here. I definitely recommend staying here between the amazing customer service, cleanliness, and price!
"Hotel. Herbert"
Herbert at The front desk with the most helpful young man at a hotel took the time and explained everything he is the best Herbert. He deserves a promotion I asked to many questions he had all the answers in a helpful way I could tell with a smile he took the time and was friendly

"Lisa S + family"
Beautiful hotel friendly comfortable clean rooms family oriented. JR makes a delicious breakfast and the coffee is the best ever. He is so warm and friendly It felt like home. Regina checked us in and was so busy but took the time to offer cookies and drinks while we waited. Herb at the front desk was on top of everything we needed if we asked for it he provided it. Rubiano the Houseman was also very helpful when we needed something. Beds a comfortable rooms Cozy would have liked a dresser but did ok without one. The pool is beautiful and warm. Close to many beaches and shopping and great food. Great place to stay in beautiful Sarasota Florida. We will be back. Thank you to all staff who made our stay so pleasant ❤️
