Best Western Plus Sanford Airport/Lake Mary Hotel

If you don't mind terrible smell, dirty pool, dirty carpet, and unfriendly staff this is the place for you. Even my grandson didn't enjoy the stay. The outlets does not hold your charger, and smokers are allowed to smoke in the entrance even though there is a no smoking sign

There was one singular employee who was friendly that I interacted with, and that was Marissa. Everyone else was extremely dismissive, impatient, or cold. Our room had roaches, ants, and mold - both black mold and pink mold. The majority of the furniture was broken or extremely used and abused. Curtains were extremely stained and also had mold growing on them. The fire alarms in the hallway were hanging off of the wall by the exposed electrical wiring. This is a safety and fire hazard. Other guests were allowed refunds after finding roaches in their room but I have yet to get a response from management about my stay or any refund that was requested for the disgusting conditions. My children and spouse have bug bites all over our bodies and my dog who is treated for fleas, had to be given an additional treatment due to finding fleas on her.

Naili front desk clerk did a very fabulous job, and I really appreciated!!!! Her care she took to help us…… Nerissa did a very fabulous job as well. The food was very nice very handsome and they had nice oranges and bananas and excellent waffles and all around. It was a very nice breakfast …..Enjoyed our stay here!

My family and I stayed here last night. I booked it for us to stay in because our flight was leaving this morning. If I had needed to stay longer than a few hours, I would have left. It's was awful. It smelled horrible....it wasn't clean, and was very damp feeling in the rooms. I've honestly never left a review like this for any business. I would not stay here. Yes it's the closest to the airport, but I'd rather drive a few miles. Do not waste your money here. So unfortunate.

Very dissatisfied. Guest. I arrived between 9:30 PM and 10 PM. The gentleman that was at the front desk gave me the impression that he didn't want to be there. This particular employee was also parked in a handicap spot which could've been used by myself as I am in a wheelchair. Roll in shower area was OK, but could not use the shower head as it was not able to be attached to the sliding pole for height preferences.

We booked this room for the convenience of the airport as our flight was leaving at 6:30 am the next morning. Less than 5 min drive to airport was convenient. Hotel shuttle starts at 5 am but did arrive early thank goodness as our flight was leaving at 6:30am and we needed to be there by 4:30ish so we made it to airport around 4:55am and made our flight. No breakfast available since we left so early. Room was clean but the TV did not work. I did not see any bugs ect as stated in other reviews. The room did have a musty smell to it. They did let us check in early before the regular 3 pm check in thankfully.

The pictures are deceiving! This hotel is absolute filth! Stinky, gross absolutely nasty. Smells like mildew/musty air coming from air conditioning and pot in the hallways. I hardly slept a wink it was just disgusting

Location was fine. Rooms and amenities were fine however the staff was terrible. From the moment we walked in the front desk lady gave off the vibe by the way she looked and acted that we were an inconvenience to her. She told us we couldn't do things that the gentleman the next day told us she could. She ruined the whole experience

We desired to spend our last overnight in FL near our departure, AMTRAK AutoTrain. Best Western is our hotel of choice and this property was right near the AutoTrain station. The property is well appointed and maintained. Parking is ample and well lit. We chose to explore downtown Sanford, FL and it was a very easy drive from the hotel property. Breakfast was excellent; food options and ample seating. I hope we can stay at this property during a future travel experience.

Room was dirty. Stuff splashed on the walls. Lamp shades covered in who knows what. Floors not cleanest. Woke up to dead bugs on floor. Pool was extremely dirty and cold. Had to ask and wait for milk and utensils for breakfast.

We were very disappointed…. Hotel is old but was convenient to the airport. They offer parking and shuttle service to and from the airport. Shuttle service was requested upon our return to Orlando/Sanford airport while we were on tarmac. Receptionist said she would send van out in 15 minutes. Van never showed. We called hotel to check on van and the phone just rang. We tried several times…. When we called Best Western Customer Service, they too we unable to rise the receptionist. When Complaint Department called, receptionist lied, and said we never called.. We have record of our call…. We waited well over an hour for less than a 10 minute ride. We filed a complaint with Best Western and do not recommend this hotel.

Cracked floors in shower that could cut you room 105. Key entry mechanism on door room 205 falling off door. Night staff we delt with extremely rude. Had to prove to him we reserved a 2 queen bed room.

Hotel smelled awful. Hall carpets were dirty and smelled of mold, lobby toilet, not working properly, room keys, quit working a few hours after being there, our room, floor and headboards were visibly dirty, there were bugs in the room there was caulk all over the bathroom tub fixture, baseboards were rotting and coming off the wall, receptionist was rude upon arrival, but did put us in a room early I'm assuming to make up for the rudeness. I was very dissatisfied to say the least

This hotel is in serious need of an overhaul. Carpet was disgusting; very glad I did not have white socks; killed one roach and slept with light on. I only stayed because they had a shuttle to the airport. Find another hotel!

A relaxed trip should allow for a relaxed morning. Having breakfast done at 9:00 is not relaxed in my opinion. 10:00 is standrd in almost every place I have ever stayed. At lease offer some fruit/yougurt/instat grits or oatmeal for an extended time. Admittedly the signage said 9:00 so that is on me, But no attempt to offer me any quick and easy item was made either when I questioned it. That is on them and why my service is average. I travel with my grandson's baseball team and we will be back in the area in the spring. Not sure I will pull the trigger on this location or recommend to the team who stayed at another hotel in the area ... who served breakfast until 10:30!!

First room the bed was not made or changed. Third floor smelled like marijuana. Second room smelled musty, AC didn't work well, carpet wasn't swept, bathroom floor wasn't clean. The breakfast area was small and the floor filthy and it just opened. I decided that paying for a breakfast at the airport would be safer. I only stayed there because they had a shuttle to the airport and I was dropped off. Next time, I will pay for an Uber. The front desk staff wasn't pleasant. It was mentioned that this happens a lot when I said the bed wasn't changed. It was not worth the money I spent. I would NOT stay here again.

I would not recommend this place unless you're desperate to stay by the airport. The shuttle stops at 5 pm from The airport so know that ahead of time. The entire second floor smelled like some weird cuisine. The pool was dirty. Cash only for snacks… yeah. Don't do it lol

The odor of mold was so great we ran the a/c and bathroom vent fan nonstop hoping to at least bring the level of stench down. In 10 hours some progress was made. Furniture in the room was old, dirty and worn.

The rooms 2 both had cockroaches doors not working, fridge not working. Staff was great, but no real help. How many words does it take to complain when no one responds including corporate. They want your response but they don't respond.

The shuttle will take you to the airport and you can leave your vehicle at the hotel for a fee. When you return if you don't have an incoming reservation plan on taking a cab to the hotel. They won't come get you

I had an amazing experience from the front desk to the airport shuttle. I recommend staying at this hotel if you are ever in the area or traveling they have a free shuttle to the airport and the driver is very nice and friendly.

The staff is very nice and friendly. The building appear to be recently remodeled. There are still a few items that could be touched, but over all nice spot. It is a nice central location. Daytona Beach 47 miles away, Orlando about the same to the South. 61 miles from the Cape.

Our room had a mouldy smell. There was such a big gap in our hotel room door jam you could see through to the hallway. The shower faucet was so loose that it caused the water to remain on scolding. Being Canadian we aren't afraid to use an outdoor pool when it's slightly chilly out. The pool at this hotel was an afterthought. Wasn't cleaned, water levels below the trap lines. The shuttle driver was a half an hour late for her 5 AM shift. This cause major back up for people trying to catch their flights at the airport. They then overbooked the shuttle, which caused screaming and yelling matches between guests in the lobby in parking lot.

We selected this hotel because of its advertised airport shuttle service. At check in we let the desk know when we need the shuttle. The desk person documented this request. We received a wake up call 30 minutes prior. We arrived to the lobby on time. There were also others waiting outside the parked hotel shuttle van. After a few minutes of waiting I went to the desk asking about a driver. He said there was no one coming and no one had signed up for the shift. He was smug and rude and didn't seem to care. We selected this hotel for its convenience, but it was far from convenient. Complaint has already been filled and we are expecting to have resolution and compensation.

The room was not clean and poorly maintained. There were chip crumbs by the upholstered chair and toothbrush splatter on the mirror. The veneer on tv cabinet was chipped as well as the curtains did not hang properly. The door to the room was improperly cut and the paint chipped badly. The light from the hallway filtered into the room at night. On the bright side staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but the breakfast area is small and was crowded without enough places to sit.

The front desk clerk was friendly and made sure all of the requests we had made at the time of reservation were honored. I traveled with two ladies over the age of 80, one with a walker, and a small dog. We did request a step stool to access the beds due to their height. Only one needed to use it. The beds were comfortable and clean. Not the most modern furnishings but we just needed a room for a night! Breakfast was good, there was food for purchase anytime at very reasonable prices from the front desk as well as vending machines. Free shuttle to the airport was great, small dog was welcomed, parking lot was nice, outdoor pool was open but water was cold due to the weather, friendly staff, easy check in and check out.

The breakfast dining area was way to small and very little choices of food, hot or cold. The bed was to high because you almost need a step stool to get into it. It maybe fine for younger people but definitely not for seniors.

The room and hall smelled of smoking cigarettes and weed which made hard to breathe for nonsmokers. The second if entering room and turning on light cockroach on wall coming from behind headboard. Told desk person and was told it Florida and Now i met my new little friend. Yep. Slept with lights on all night long. Only good thing was only 6min away from airport when you need to be there 4am. But next time will look for somewhere else

It was horrible!!! Worst ive ever seen in history!!! Woke up to a broken elevator so had to carry food up and down from the 3rd floor...the front desk person might have filled in due to no actual breakfast attendee...so being over worked had her in a bad mood and very poor customer service!!! It took a total of 5 requests to get the syrup refilled!!! Several times we were told we would have to wait I quote "im too busy right now!" With an attitude and when the waffle mix ran out she said "That's it! It's done!" No apologies for the service at that time...I literally seen 2 elder couples at tables with only coffee due to lack of food...and a father explain to his family he would take them out to eat somewhere else due to lack of food...as an experienced hospitality/hotel front desk I have been the breakfast attendees and only front desk person and shuttle driver simultaneously...there are just somethings u don't do and alot u try to accommodate in those situations Naili B. failed in my observation at every opportunity to sooth the situation! Initially I was impressed upon checking in with the service I received to make this property one of my frequent locations to stay even so much I signed up for the rewards program at the front desk with the nice man...but after the experience I received during my departure day I will never stay here ever again!!! And will discontinue my rewards loyalty membership. After checking and making a request the next day for shuttle service...the shuttle was canceled and nobody notified me upon receiving the poorest service that morning during breakfast I had a feeling about 30min before I was supposed to leave that I should check and finally found out lucky I was able to book and pay for a lyft ride and I was shown at the front desk by Naili B. A sheet of paper with writing on the back saying no shuttle! Definitely a terrible inconvenience to be notified of late I could have missed my flight otherwise!!!! Also when I arrived home I noticed 4 souvenirs TSHIRTS missing so I called the property to ask if they were turned in...after 4 days and several phone calls and several times I was told I would be called back once they confirmed with the head house keeper and checked the lock up or safe...I would be notified and called back not 1 time was I reached out too...finally the last time I called I got a simple no! They weren't found...which is all I needed to stop my search.

Can't believe Best Western allows this place to operate under the name. Hotel is in need of update, or at the very least a deep clean. Walls and doors are disguistingly dirty. Booked this hotel for the free shuttle to the airport. Spoke to front desk about reserving our shuttle for the next day and was told the vehicles engine was broken so there was no shuttle. When I asked if they provided a taxi slip or discount in lieu, she said no And there was no manager in for the next 2 days and no one she could contact about same . The next morning, the shuttle was parked out front of the hotel so I asked another employee if it was running. She said it wasn't because the driver had a family emergency that day. Seemwd fishy....Elevator was broken, had to carry luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Continental breakfast was super limited and worst I've seen. Hallways reeked like Marijuana., and walls were thin. Worst of all overpaid for a dump.

When we arrived a guy was right outside the door smoking under the no smoking sign and getting drunk. The rooms were clean enough but badly needed rehabbing, especially bathroom. Moldy tub, poor paint job, room door was ill fitting and let in light all around the door. No shuttle service as advertised. Lobby needs updated. When we left at 4:30am next day night person was out front smoking by no smoking sign. I feel at $130 per night we greatly overpaid. Only good thing was it was close to airport. Will not stay there again.

Uncaring staff. The staff would not meet the needs of our children and grandchildren for breakfast food and when requested to get more milk for their cereal they couldn't take the time to meet our needs and so we were forced to leave without breakfast. I chose this hotel because someone in our party is diabetic and could not eat all those times carbs.

This hotel experience was AWFUL! Given key to occupied room. Toilet in room didn't work and had to use lobby's restroom. No one ever showed up to fix it. Breakfast ended a half hour early. Dirty room!

We booked the Best Western Plus Sanford Airport for a one-night Sunday night stay for an early Monday morning departure. We booked the hotel specifically because it advertised having airport shuttle service 5 am - 5 pm daily. Upon arrival, we learned that the shuttle does not runs on Sundays and would start at 9 am on Monday morning, which was well after our flight departure time. We had to revise our car rental to extend it another day because of this. The room we stayed in smelled like cigarette smoke. The water pressure in the shower was really weak. My kids were excited to swim, but unfortunately the excitement waned immediately as the pool had garbage in it, was not heated and was in front of the hotel close to the highway- a very unpleasant pool experience. I also had to wait for 10 minutes for pool towels from the front desk. There was no blanket in the room for the sofa bed and I had to go to the desk to ask for one. When I requested an additional pillow, none were available. The desk staff greeted me with a sigh with each request I had for these basic requests. My kids have renamed the hotel “Best Western Minus.”

We had scheduled our stay prior to an early morning flight out of Orlando specifically because we could leave our car there and take the shuttle back and forth from the airport. When we reserved, we were told that the shuttle ran until 2200, which was what we needed. Upon arrival we were told that the shuttle only ran until 1700. When we got up to leave on the shuttle in the early am, the driver was about a half hour late. When we returned from out trip and got our credit bill we found that we had been charged twice for the car being left at the motel. Lots of problems with our stay. Previous stays had been much more convenient.

We evacuated to this hotel during Hurricane Ian booking 3 nights on booking.com. We had to leave per management instruction after 2 due to the hotel losing power. This hotel charged us a total of $755.61 for 2 nights! The original booking for 3 nights was $403.20. The hotel then charged me $50.79 with no explanation which I assume was a fee for booking through a third party and not the hotel itself. After departure I was shocked to see another $301.62 had been charged to my card. The booking.com reservation is non refundable but I believe they owe me the 50.79 and the 301.62. Calling them resulted in a promise to “look into it”. I left my number and waited. That was a week ago. Disgusted!

They don't clean anything! Fingerprints everywhere on microwave and fridge and the carpet wasn't even vacuumed. Slept on top of all the sheets because it was gross. Don't stay here please this is so disgusting

Very good experience. Efficient, comfortable, convenient and clean. The shuttle to the airport was the primary reason for the booking and that service was great. I will stay at the hotel on all of my future trips to New Smyrna.

This hotel refused to store my pumped breastmilk in their large, industrial freezer. The small freezer compartment in the mini fridge was frozen shut with frost and wasn't large enough to store the amount of milk that I needed frozen.

I've used this hotel for over 15 years, and my last stay with them was deplorable .The tv didn't work, the room smelled like pet urine, and housekeeping wouldn't let me sleep in the morning. I am truly disappointed because in the past I have written good reviews of this place, and have recommended to my aunt.

No complaints about this hotel except the price- too high for average accommodations. There was supposed to be extra bedding in the room and was even noted by clerk at check-in but it wasn't there. Breakfast was ample and well-stocked so no complaints there. I would return but not at the same high price.

If I could give this less than 0, I would! Disgusting, very dirty, mysterious brown icky on the baseboards of the Bathroom! Looks like it was cleaned years ago, carpet was half ripped up, no outlet covers on , smell was bad, I told my children not to touch anything. The fact that you cannot even report these issues because the desk is not manned, pretty bad.

We stayed here because it was close to the airport. For some reason they had the front doors locked open and it was hot and humid in the lobby. The lobby, hallway and elevators were dirty. We got in our room and it was hot and soooo musty, smoky smelling. It was gross smelling. They have tried to update it but it's old. It wasn't the cleanest but I've been in worse. The bed was very comfortable. Can't tell you about the breakfast as we had an early flight out. Would not stay here again.

This trip was booked specifically for the airport shuttle. Staff overbooked the shuttle and offered that my 6 month old daughter sit on my lap. No refund was offered and stated “many” mothers do this.

Please don't stay here Review of Best Western Plus Sanford Airport/Lake Mary Hotel This is the worst room and experience I have ever had. The room reeked of urine and I also seen a couple of bugs. The manager, Keshia, said she would refund my card because I wasn't about to stay there. Now she is saying it is non refundable. How do you as a manager tell the customer you will refund there card then tell them a week later that it was non refundable. I have never posted a bad review but believe me when I say you don't want to stay here. Try Comfort Inn and suites. Same price and it is very nice.

Long story short- I wouldn't let my dog stay at this hotel. We left within minutes of check in. The room smelled extremely musty and moldy. Everything looked dingy and old. My eyes and nose started running immediately upon entrance to room and I was sickened by the odor!!! I was told at the front desk that my payment would be reversed, but corporate refused to refund. I was out a whooping $170 and had to scramble to find another hotel to stay at.

They lie and do not care if their system makes a mistake. They only care to take your money regardless the situation, and have no interest in looking into an issue you may or may not have with their website.

Room 211 smells musty & moldy, it takes your breath! The curtains had mildew on the bottom of them laying on the ac unit. It looks like there's water spots on the ceiling. I was also surprised that you can open the window & it doesn't have a screen. Very disappointing for a Best Western! The walls are pretty thin, too.The staff was friendly, though.

I called Best Westerns 800 booking # and the hotel front desk and both told me that The hotels shuttle ran til midnight and that the shuttle would be there to pick me up as long as I called upon landing @1128pm . Only to have to pay $43 for a cab because the staff lied to me and would not pick me up upon arriaval.

Older hotel but quiet and clean. Staff helpful. Many breakfast choices including hot items. Quick shuttle to Sanford airport. Very convenient. Driver was helpful with bags. Would definitely recommend for travelers using Sanford airport.

Room smelled so musty/moldy!!! Front desk switched us to a new room which wasn't as bad but still not great. Floors in the second room were dirty. Cheesies under the bed. Dirt alone the walls and behind nightstand which we had to pull out to plug phones in.

My first impression upon entering to check in was lacking - with no warmth or friendliness from the front desk clerk. It look a couple minutes for them even to acknowledge me. It was obvious from the get-go that this place was uncared for overall. I do not mean to say the cleaning staff is neglectful or bad at their job, but the place seems to be missing those one or two people who care about their job and recognize when things are starting to fall apart and needs that "little extra." The pool area is about as far from relaxing as any pool could possibly be - it's in the front of the hotel in the middle of the parking lot, less than fifty feet from the highway. The front door is loud and annoying. The suite doors slam closed and let in so much noise and light it's crazy. Overall, this place had potential at some point, but without some intervention, it is going to become a real dive soon.

The staff was friendly and professional. We had to call 911 as I had a medical emergency. The staff was genuinely concerned for me. They worked with us to extend our stay an additional night when I had to be admitted to the hospital.

The front desk attendant was very helpful with our requests. Enjoyed our stay and will recommend to friends. Location was good to Lake Mary and visiting our son. Breakfast was a nice start to the day. Bedding was comfy.

Room was nice staff was friendly but I had to use the bathroom before going out an it appeared someone was useing it I waited an employee walked out the lady's rest room I didn't see a name but she was very heavy set underwear was coming out her pants her clothes looked to little an she carried a white an black book bag! She left an odor so bad in the bathroom it smelled like fish an a dead animal an it followed her as if she had not bathe I think hygiene needs to be addressed in working around people an then I went out the back door an a side door opened an I watched a skinny Hispanic male with a best western shirt that had paint on it come out an a cloud of smoke came with him it smelled like weed smoke the hotel was great but I feel like they need to rethink there employees those two really made me rethink my stay everyone else was great this was Saturday afternoon

VERY NICE BUILDING BUT. We checked in desk staff very nice and accommodating. Fast check in. Room was clean, bed comfortable and air conditioning was great. The odd things- There was a lady curled up on the sofa sleeping in the lounge area at 6pm also there still at 4AM when we checked out. A person that appeared to be homeless was hanging around the entrance and kept talking to the guests asking for assistance. We had an early flight so we went to bed early a dog kept barking, nonstop in a room next to ours, like they left it there on its own. When we left the entrance at 4AM there was blood and what appeared to be a tooth on the bench out front Again the staff and building was awesome. We could have shuttled to the airport too.

I would have been giving this hotel a perfect review if not for 1 bad employee, The check in staff was awesome. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They even helped me fix my own personal computer. The room was big, bed was comfy, TV had over 100 channels, grounds were clean, shower water pressure was strong. More like a Hilton than a Best Western. I had an airport shuttle scheduled for 5:00 AM. I got up and was packing when my phone rang at 4:45 reminding me of the 5:00 AM shuttle. I said I was packing and would be right down. 5 minutes later the same man called and didn't even say hello. Just said "You have a shuttle full of people waiting. You're late.". I told him I was walking out the door now. I got downstairs and this rude man was standing at the elevator and ripped my bag out of my had, and again said "You're late". I pointed out that it was 4:50, the shuttle was scheduled for 5:00 and I was 15 feet away from it. I went to throw my empty coke can away and he again said "You're Late", took the can from me and pointed at the shuttle like I was 5 years old. As it turned out, the shuttle didn't leave for 5 minutes after I got in. I wish I got this man's name but if anyone from the Best Western Management is reading he was a large black man working between 4:45 and 5:00 AM on Monday, March 7, 2022. He needs to go to manners school.

Clean Rooms, Convenient to airport. Very limited venues open if you have an early flight, and the airport food services are quite expensive! Plan on picking up something the night before. The hotel has grab and go bags but, had limited items, could be better. The pool is small and right next to the road.

Hotel is great location for airport. Rooms are quiet. Great fitness center. Front desk staff very friendly but need to share benefits of staying at hotel like breakfast included and housekeeping request form.

The whole staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is in a great location for the airport and dining. The facilities were in great shape and very clean. Rooms were nice and and the TV was large and internet worked great.

We are diamond rewards members. We needed to be close to airport. I called Monday and was told Courtsey van was going in shop the next day. Was pleased when we pulled in and saw the van. When I asked if it was in use, was told it had to go in the shop. Moldy smell in room. There was no hair dryer and no TP on the holder. Property needs TLC. Road construction had us pass by driveway 2x. Due to work we are in hotels most of the year. BW most times. Normally a great experience.

Always have the best experiences when i book and stay with BW. clean rooms, great service and excellent staff. I highly recommend BW! Prices are always within budget and having the option to pay with points just make me want to stay longer. but on to the next city!!

For the ridiculous price I paid, this place is a nasty joke! As soon as I walked in my room, I smelled the nasty moldy smell. There's sweet musty mold, and then there's nasty, stinky mold! I told the family, “Don't unload that cart because we're not staying in this room!” I went downstairs and was told all the rooms would be like that when I asked to move. She grabbed a bottle of Febreeze spray from under the counter! My jaw hit the floor! I told her I had Microban disinfectant instead to spray in the air conditioner. That was my option for over 200$! I will be contacting management as soon as I am back home to get some of my money back! They should pay people to stay there! I would love my money back if management happens to read this review! And by the way, Microban does not take care of the mold in the air conditioners; y'all need to update your pads or something because that's a health hazard! You should be shut down! If I could put zero stars, I would! The beds sucked, too! Lumpy-joke! Steer clear of this junker in my humble opinion!

Convenient location in relation to the airport, clean rooms and pristine lobby, great breakfast spread (even with the gong show of Covid going on), and I can't say enough about their staff! From check in to check out, they were OUTSTANDING!

The room and amenities offered were okay... but I feel the rate charged would have been for a nicer quality hotel/room/area. Just because you offer a quick breakfast in the lobby does not mean guests should be overcharged for average room. Lastly, there is lots of construction going on in area, be aware and warned.

The staff was wonderful! From the front desk to the room staff. Very knowledgeable about the area and had great suggestions for where to eat and shop! Breakfast in a bag for early departures was a nice surprise. Beds are very loud when rolling over (sheets, blankets)

Got overcharged on my final bill and nobody had the knowledge to help It seams there is no management on weekends so any complaints just don't get fixed. I was really disappointed in best western,they lost a customer and nobody cares

I have stayed here several times. I received anything I asked for in my room. You can order your breakfast the day before and they have it ready that next morning. The staff is very courteous. It's nice to be near the airport and be able to leave your car. They shuttle you there and back.

We used this hotel for the shuttle service to Sanford Airport. Check in was simple, hotel was clean, no frills, staff was friendly. We had a 6:25 am flight and the shuttle took us to the airport at 5:00 am on time and stress free. We appreciated the packed breakfast for us to take with us. It is only a few miles from the airport, so it is a short trip. Would recommend if you have an early flight and no transportation or an early flight and you need to return your rent a car.

Room was very hot when arriving, the window was open and ac would not stay on. After several visits with maintenance,as long as we kept it at 60, the room would cool. Rooms are small and beds are hard .

After a long day and the need for an overnight R&R session. The accommodations were perfect. the front desk staff was some of the best I have met ever. Manny helped me use a discount I didn't know was available, it was extremely satisfying. After first starting at another hotel woodbridge suites thinking I could save a few bucks I got more got more of a headache and dealing with roaches and lack of staff and professionalism. BW will now be my go to hotel from this day forward.

First I called to let reception know I would be checking in late. She was rude and abrupt on the phone, answered my question and then hung up. When we arrived the lobby looked pleasant, which is what is expected. Although when I checked in you could tell the receptionist didn't like her job and wasn't thrilled to be there. Her tone was just rude and seemed annoyed that she had to work. When entering the elevator it was it was dirty. We got to the fourth floor, the elevator opened and the hallway stunk of marijuana and just funky. From there we get into our room, that also had a foul smell to it. Thank goodness I had my Lysol spray so I sprayed the room down. I checked the sheets and bedding and that was clean, so I could deal with that. The bathroom had mold in the shower, the rug definitely was not vacuumed, there was grass everywhere. The moldings also hadn't been wiped down in ages. Despite all of this we stayed as we had our dog with us and there wasn't many options since it was late already and I just wanted to get some sleep. This being a dog friendly hotel, you would think there would be a grassy spot for the dog to do it's business. Nope… no grassy area. I then read the brochure and it said that there was a grassy area in the front. There wasn't. My family and I slept, woke up in the morning and left. I didn't even look at the breakfast so I can't say anything about it. But since the room was dirty, breakfast there wasn't going to sit well with me either. For the price I payed to stay I expected at least a clean, fresh smelling place. Not that case and we won't be back. I don't recommend this establishment at all.

Hotel common areas were very clean, room was also very clean. I appreciate the change from the bedspread to the lightweight washable bed cover. Bed was very comfortable, good pillows, a/c was excellent and it's close to the airport. Most definitely recommend and would stay here again!!

Elevator was broken, "breakfast" was a paper bag with an orange and bottle of water. Picked this hotel because of proximity to airport for early flight and shuttle service. Arrived to find out they started shuttle at 5am, needed 430a ride. That morning shuttle driver was in lobby drinking coffee and talking to front desk staff but refused to give ride. Had to find alternate transportation.

This was for 1 night only and thank goodness for that. The outside was redone to look appealing from the road. Then you get inside and it's like the took an old hotel and had a group of middle schoolers paint it. It smells. We get to our room and there are only 5 channels that work on the TV. They blamed it on Spectrum, but to me, based on everything else, they are too cheap to pay for the channels. Breakfast was there. The milk that was put out was sour, The food looked like it was recycled from the day before or longer. At 9am, housekeeping was knocking on everyones door asking what time they were leaving. I witnessed her walk into a room when no one answered. Hopefully they were not in the shower or sleeping. I put in for a 12 check out and 2 employees told me I was good for it. At 11:30 I get a call from the front desk telling me I had not informed them of a late check out and that I needed to leave. Then when I explained what happened, they said oh. No apology for the accusations. The police were out front questioning people in the pool area as something scketch was going on. I got charged $170 for a hotel that should go for about $50 at best. Only stay here if you have no other options. This is no better than a cheap motel 6.

My attempted stay at this hotel was absolutely horrible. Upon check-in front desk staff wasn't very friendly but I only wish that was the worst of it. I was given a room on the second floor and not long after being in the room a bug crawled on my arm while sitting on the bed. We pulled the sheets back and moved the mattress and found many more bugs. I went to the front desk and told them I wanted to be put in a different room. I was then given a room 3 doors down from where I was previously. I immediately checked the beds and found a couple more bugs crawling under that mattress. We left right away and went to another hotel for the night. I have tried contacting the hotel regarding this issue and I have yet to hear back from them. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BUGS CRAWLING ALL OVER YOU WHILE YOU ARE IN BED!!!!!!

PROS: Brian at the front desk was awesome! I had a res for 3 rooms for 3 nights. Needed a 8-9am check-in for at least one. I had spoken with him a few days before, and it went very smoothly. Very helpful and professional - two traits lacking in many today. They've set up a table tent in the rooms with a QR code to scan for the guest guide, which includes the TV Lineup. No paper/no contact, so, cool. A lot of room doors don't close all the way without a little help. Also, the frames allow some light to come in on all 4 sides. Sort of served as a night light for me. (Some may not see this as a PRO) Good access to I-4 and Lakes Jessup, Monroe and Apopka. CONS: DIRTY CARPETS IN THE ROOMS!! Feet and socks turn black! I have photos if the hotel asks. With the exception of the front desk personnel, who are already behind plexiglass, I saw few, if any staff wearing masks. Same with the guests. SECURITY ISSUE - Back door from the patio area does not lock, allowing for the opportunity of unwarranted persons entering the building. HOUSEKEEPING - Flat sheet on the bed was essentially just thrown on without any regard to it being straight and even on all sides. Not tucked in at all, even at the foot. The right bottom corner was on the floor. If they have housekeeping standards as to how to make a bed, they're not being followed. (Mgmt - note I have video of this as well.) TV Service, as is the case with many BW properties, is provided by HughesNet (which sucks anyway), The generic light blue & white remote is relatively functional, but the service does not offer a channel programming guide. Only one of the two tables on the back patio has an umbrella. FINALLY If you want to be close to Disney (37 miles) or Universal (30 miles), this probably should not be on their list. MCO is about 30 minutes south. No laundry bag in the room. Maybe this is a corporate COVID or environmental thing, but it's the 3rd BW in a row that I've stayed at that did not have them in the room. You can ask for them at the front desk. Beware of the coffee maker. It brews both cold and hot, so make sure you press the right button. HOT is the bottom one :)

Great to do early check in/out. Shuttle service was working, clean hotel. However, the noise in the hallway at night was too loud and the shower head needed to be replaced. Hardly any water came out no matter what we did

Stayed here 2 times in the past 4 weeks while attending baseball tournaments at The Boombah Complex. Hotel is clean and has a great location for the baseball complex, and for gas, eating, shopping, etc. Staff was exceedingly friendly and accommodating.

This stay exceeded all expectations. Very neat and clean exterior. The interior lobby area was well organized. I personally observed staff (Mr Angel?) sanitizing and wiping all touch surfaces in the lobby and breakfast area. Considering Covid/CDC requirements, breakfast items were sufficient. Our room was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. NO telltale signs of smoking anywhere. Quiet room air-conditioner!!!! Everything gives the appearance of a recent remodel. The location is very convenient to traveler oriented necessities (Walmart, fast-food, auto repair/parts, entertainment) The Sanford area is a clean and inviting place. If in the Sanford area again, I will definitely book at this Best Western again.

Pleasant check-in. Welcoming lobby, elevator close to front door. Lighting, linens, pillows all nice. Comfy bed (did not sleep in the first one - - getting to that). Upon entering the room, we turned the air down to cool it off. My sister and I did not leave the room for 4 hours after we got there; tired from travel and just wanted to rest. Looked around for tv remote - nope, not there. Called front desk and she brought one up promptly. Bathtub faucet in the bathroom was on a steady drip; I tried to turn it off but it was already off. Okay, not my problem. I warmed up my leftovers for dinner. When I turned the microwave on, I stood back because I thought it was going to explode. It was LOUD, like a lawnmower loud. It worked, but it was scary. We thought the air was taking a long time to cool the room, so I picked up the phone to call the front desk. The cord promptly fell out of the handset. Okay - THAT won't work. I left the room to go to the lobby to tell the clerk, and realized just how WARM our room was because the hallway was so COOL. Told front desk clerk about air, he came up and checked it. He had keys to a different room with him which was VERY smart on his part, so we moved down the hall. THIS room was better, but still had its warbles. The hair dryer did not work AND the exhaust fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet engine. The beds were comfy. Linens, pillows, lighting were all good. This room DID have a side chair to chill out in - there was not one in the first room. Overall, for a one night stay and all these problems - I would not stay here again. The personnel on duty were VERY nice, but they can't fix maintenance issues if they are not trained. I don't hold that against them.

the hotel location is very good with lot of resturants, Sanford airport nearby; Hotel was clean and appearance was also very good good; Staffs are quite helpful. Breakfast is surely is a disappointment

We stayed here for a Senior Softball Tournament. We were give a King suite which was wonderful. The suite was very clean and had a great large flat screen tv in both rooms. We will gladly stay here again.

We had an early flight out in the morning so we stayed at The Best Western near the Orlando Sanford airport. Hotel was clean and adequate for a nights stay. No handicap rooms. It does have an elevator and a refrigerator and microwave in each room. Room was small and tight. Recommend for convience. Rating... good.

Stayed here twice now to catch early morning flights out of Orlando Sanford. Pros - the location to airport. Gas stations close to refill rental car and 8 minute drive to airport at 5am - the things that need to be clean were clean. Towels, sheets, sink, toilet - the price $84 for the night. Just needed a place to sleep Cons - the room was smelly. Moldy, Mildew, humidity. - lumpy pillows / lumpy bed - one elevator - low water pressure - tiny tiny tiny shampoo, conditioner - many families staying to be close to airport. One person at counter. He was pleasant and clearly had been busy all evening - the a/c runs then shuts off warming room again. Then runs and shuts off. Warming room again. Didn't get any sleep because it was hot cold hot cold hot cold and loud when it kicked on. - mold and mildew / dirty in some places.

I flew into SFB late evening & hotel van still operating their airport shuttle. Was greeted promptly by caring and friendly staff. Room was clean and furnished as expected. Would highly recommend Best Western Plus in Sanford and would stay again when flying in/out of Sanford airport!

We picked this hotel due to the close proximity to the airport. Overall the hotel appeared to be updated, but our room smelled terrible! The odor of mold was so strong in our room and there was was so much moisture in the room (including the mattress!) that when we went to lay down our pajamas got damp from the bed. GROSS!

We were done with our trip, and we wanted hotel close to the airport. Mistake! The smell in the room was very funky. The bathroom door wouldn't close! There was a bar of used soap in the shower. Would have found some where else. Be warned!

First impressions always stick !!! Front desk worker.. could of cared less that we were there. Basically we were bothersome to her at checking in. I did chat with the van driver, though we did not need to use her and she was very pleasant.. She was the only ray of sunshine around this hotel. I did request a room in a quieter area, since our flight was leaving very early in the morning. The comment was something like, you kind of get which room I gave you and if you have a problem with noise call the front desk. I want to avoid being woken up in the middle of the night and I don't want to have to call the front desk, this is what I want to avoid.... After coming back from dinner we walked in with some other people that were getting their luggage and heading to their room ...Took the elevator up they ended up coming back out of their room with discussed, because it smelled like cigarette smoke and pot. You know what, go ahead smoke but at least have the decency do it outside. Was somebody in this room smoking the night before? Or do people have keys and come and go as they please ?!?! If and when this room was clean would they not notice that it reeked of smoke and have done something about it ..instead of placing a customer in this room ?? Pool would've been nice to go in but not with the water clarity and cleanliness of it .. I just was not seeing it. Our room was clean, our bed was comfortable and we did get a good nights sleep. Checked out early in the morning and again we were greeted with the same attitude as we were checking in ...basically why are you wasting my time or troubling me. Maybe if your employees put a little smile on their face and acknowledged your/their customers ...You wouldn't and I wouldn't be seeing so many reviews about customer service !!

This is listed as the Sanford Airport BPW. While it may be the closest BWP to the airport, it is by NO means what I would consider an "airport hotel". Check-in was horrible. Attitude, and seemed like the person did not even want to be there. Rooms have NO USB charging. When I asked about this, I was instructed to plug my device into the USB of the TV, meaning 1) The TV had to remain on to charge. 2) You needed a really long cable to use your device. I ended up just going to a 7-11 and buying a charger for $10. The elevator and lobby could use a sweeping as well. Finally... breakfast. While I realize we are in COVID 19, part of the BWP experience is the breakfast. You are offered a bag with 2 muffins, a water and an apple. There is NO coffee, and you are told to use the coffee machine in your room. For a BWP charging DOUBLE what the other best western's in a 25 mile radius are charging, I would expect more.

We had close to 20 rooms booked for a softball tournament. We had to be at the fields at 7AM. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM. We asked to have the breakfast start at 6AM ( 1/2 hour early), so we weren't rushed to get to the fields. Manager refused !!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME !!!. We stay at hotels every month. Every other hotel that we have stayed, were more than willing to have an early breakfast when we had early games (usually an hour early).

I was looking for a place to stay for a very early morning flight out of Sanford so I didn't have to get up quite so early and drive an hour to the airport. This location was perfect. Price was reasonable for the area. Building was new & well maintained. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff was pleasant. They offer free shuttle service to the airport.

The location of this hotel was fantastic! The staff were very friendly, breakfast was wonderful and room was very clean!!! The only negative -- which I did mention to front desk personnel -- was an issue with the shower water pressure. The water only trickled out of the shower head (no matter how it was adjusted.) boo hoo. The front desk representative did not seem concerned & said he'd mention it. I had hoped I was reassured it was going to be fixed. I also failed to complain earlier (and louder) & suffered through it with mention of it only at checkout. Shame on me!

Congenial and helpful staff, great food and cleanliness, Room very clean with very comfortable bed. Was wonderful to be close to Sanford airport and have an EARLY MORN shuttle available to my friend flying back to PA.

The area around the hotel was very dark and not in the greatest location. Hotel was clean but older. We called for a shuttle when we dropped out rental car off and needed to get back to the hotel and they were there in 10 minutes. When we got to the front desk they couldn't have been any kinder they even gave us a different room choice and no charge. These ladies made this night great for us. The breakfast was hot and had everything we needed. The shuttle we scheduled was right on time and dropped us off right where we needed to be. All of this is so important to us when traveling with young kids. My only suggestions would be better doors in the rooms, light came through all night.

Excellent service and accommodations! Traveled with my cat and dog as I was moving from out of state. Everything exceeded my expectations. This was my first time staying at a Best Western Plus hotel. Have recommended this hotel to many of my friends.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for our trip to the nerby Highland Games. Free breakfast was varied and fit the bill. Hotel well-maintained and quiet. Would recommend it to those needing a respite, especially near Sanford Airport.

We needed a hotel for one night before an early flight out in the morning. The only good thing this hotel has going for it is that it is close to the airport. The staff was nice. Our room smelled very musty, there was something brown splattered all over the curtains, the TV did not work properly, the bathroom door would not shut because it hit the door frame and I saw a roach in the bathroom when I turned on the light. We paid $150 for one night and the only reason I didn't ask for another room or go to another hotel was because my mother who is 85 was with us and she was tired and can't walk a lot. I rarely leave reviews but this was bad enough to take the time to warn travelers to STAY AWAY.

After reading some of the recent reviews, I was a little worried about staying at this hotel. However, we didn't have any problems checking in, with the desk staff, or the room. We were only there overnight, but it was not a bad room-just needs some updating.

Overall, very nice, disappointed pool was not working(apparently there are cracks), but breakfast was filling and tasty. Room was overall very clean but did have an odor and rugs made our feet black, but we just kept shoes on. Shower was hot and pressure was good and bathroom was very clean. Did not use the airport transport but it was there. Close to restaurants, grocery, walmart, and more. Only minutes to airport which is quite convenient.

This property has really gone down. Our room smelled musty. There was a hole in the wall behind the toilet and the grab bars were loose. The carpet was very dirty. I always ware socks and after two trips across the floor they were black. We were very disappointed.Also the place was really noisy.

Hotel was ok it was clean I did not like the pool being on the front but some things you can not change. But the one thing I did not like her the attitude of the employees they acted like they didn't want to work pure lazy. The one that stood of the most we as Adriana or Andrea it was something like that she checked me on she acted like she hated her job like she was mad she was rude. I think you have a nice hotel bit you have to fix that or done need workers!

I stayed on Dec 18 and it was nice until I went to my room 422 it smelt so bad and there were bugs I came down and spoke to Andrea she was rude she said there was nothing she could do about it and had a snippy attitude she was not welcoming at all my husband told me don't worry about it but as I was walking away I could hear her say"I don't care I cant stand complaining ass white people " I called down and told her I heard her and I was going to tell the manager she said she didn't care he can not do anything!! that was rude and nobody like that should be working in a people friendly environment I will be reporting this to corperate

we finally had a room there that allowed us to turn the TV. Nice to sit in a chair and watch the news, etc. Or, have the option of sitting at desk. Nice comfortable place to stay. Very close to air port. Roomy rooms and baths.

This place is a typical airport adjacent hotel. It was a bit run down, the shower was a pain to make work, and the room smelled moldy/musty when we arrived. “Fortunately” we got used to it, but then smelled it again when we unpacked our clothes at the next destination.

Rooms smelled of smoke and mold. Manager said they're working on the smell. Lighting fixtures didn't have light bulbs in them. Microwave sounded like it was going to explode!! We checked out a day early because I had a head ache and the smell was effecting my asthma ! Manager Jorge didn't do anything about it !!

Guest rooms are not worth the price you pay for this hotel. My room had a large stain on the chair, the bathroom had a piece of metal sticking out of the outlet. There are obvious superficial repairs to walls, doors, etc...this room is very used. A beetle walked across my hand upon sitting down. I asked to change rooms which the front desk was very accommodating to show me another room. I witnessed a 3 inch cockroach on the lamp so chose to stay with my original room. Overall it was not awful, but not worth the price charged.

When we first arrived, we noticed the room smelled terribly like mildew. The room was also very small. They moved us to a bigger room with a kitchenette. That room also smelled awful. We decided to tough it out because it was late and we have 2 little ones under 3. The tv didn't work at all. We were told there were extra pillows in the closet- the closet was full of mold spores. I went in to the kitchen at night and when I flicked on the light, cockroaches were scurrying around. I called the front desk and there was nothing they could do except send a maintenance man up. Horrible hotel!

Ordered a suite with pull out sleeper sofa and it was terrible. When I booked I asked about it and they said all sofas had recently been replaced with memory foam mattresses. Not true. The mattress was aprox 3 inches thick and all spring. When we called to ask for a better mattress we were told to try and put the comforter (that was not included) over the mattress to see if that was better. No TV in the living room. Some plug in receptacles did not work. The pool was nice but you had to walk through the driveway to get to it and it was located right beside the highway. There was a bag for a blowdryer in the bathroom but no blowdryer included. No towels for the pool. Someone was smoking near the room and it was extremely strong and nothing was done about it. The water pressure and temperature were terrible and it was not even peak use time. A/C unit in the bedroom was very loud. The windows were old and single paned so you could hear all the highway traffic, hard to sleep. There was a huge gap between the door and its casing so you could see out into the hall and it was not a very safe feeling.

A special thanks to Shanita who made my day when she helped with a rollaway bed. Very pleasant and willing to make our stay enjoyable. When she says “it's my pleasure” you can tell she means it. Thanks for going the extra mile!

This is a great place to stop for your night before or day of arriving stop. There is a diner right next door for breakfast or lunch, that is if you don't want the good breakfast they are already offering right in the lobby. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean. Staff are ready to help you as you walk in. We were ready an hour before our scheduled shuttle to airport, they offered to take us right then and there! You won't go wrong here.

Stayed 2 nights. Shuttle drivers, Jorge and Eduardo, were fantastic. Jorge pointed out all the places that were walkable, as well as suggested an Uber to go to the Riverwalk. Nice clean rooms. Older, but clean. Breakfast buffet was very nice. I will stay there again, for sure!

Great bang for your buck. Close to airport. Price is great . place is clean. Not brand new but they do a good job at keeping it up to date. Breakfast could have been a little better but you cannot expect miracles for the price they charge

We stayed here because it was closer to the airport. We traveled back and forth to Orlando at the Universal Resort. We found the hotel was close to everything we needed. A really great diner was next door. Gas was within a mile up the road. Great staff and clean room and lobby. We will definitely be using Best Western Sanford again! Much cheaper than staying at the resort!

The folks at Best Western Plus in Sanford were extremely helpful and pleasant, even at 4 am when we were leaving to catch our flight. I would recommend this Best Western Plus to anyone. The continental breakfast was a nice plus to our trip as well.

Needed 4 AM shuttle services for a 6 AM flight. I had to get a taxi which didn't show up at all. I had a conversation with another lady to share a cab together who was also in the same predicament of having an early flight schedule.

I went in thinking it would be like the last time, clean, super friendly, and accommodating. Then I realized it was not Holiday Inn Express any longer. The desk staff was decent, Angel was kind. I went to my room and was in the process of getting settled...then I really started looking around. The curtains. Apparently, they hadn't been cleaned in ages. Simple steam cleaing once a month should be done...Spooge on 3 out of the 4 of them. The bed sash had some kind of crusty substance on it. Simple....launder it every time someone checks out...along with ALL the bedding. The tub had a hair on the edge; when I came in the towel rack was on the floor broken and a towel was behind the toilet, we all know that the towel was NOT getting used. The floor in the bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned, nor the carpet properly vacuumed. THEN, there was the bathroom door, which looked like someone had peed on it. I cleaned the headboard bc in the light you could see all kinds of smudges and handprints. Lovely! And the lampshade was stained and putrid looking. I took pictures and will upload them later. I went to the desk, spoke with Angel and he said someone would be down. About 15 minutes later I see a housekeeper, Maria, who I assume was the head keeper, and another gentleman who didn't identify himself or introduce himself, poor form. We went in and I started going down the laundry list of issues and he basically stopped me, saying maybe they needed to get me a room at ANOTHER HOTEL! HAHAHAH! I mean, are you saying to me that the only way I'll get a CLEAN room is at another place? How utterly unprofessional and just...ridiculous. He kept telling me that he graduated from Cornell and had been in the biz 40 years. I am not a person who is impressed with Ivy league ed...esp when they are more impressed with themselves than they should be. The man was making excuses saying it was bc the building was old. Ummm, what?~! I work in customer service very closely with clients at a 4 diamond resort and spa. YOU do NOT blame the building when it is about cleanliness and laundry and having an eye for detail...PERIOD! I was calm while speaking with him, but was utterly shocked at his demeanor and excuse-making. If he truly had an education from Cornell then he should know better. This place is a Hotel Impossible Anthony Malcury nightmare. It needs a major facelift and people who are more focused on details...the details is where you make the biggest impression...and cleanliness is the #1 thing people look for in a hotel...above and beyond kindness of the staff, which is usually #2. I'll be forwarding a copy of this to the main Best Western corp headquarters. This place needs better oversight from them. They have a name and need to work harder at retaining it. On a bright note, Maria was very nice. Jocelyn was super in the afternoon and should really be in a supervisory position. That chick is on point. The second room they took me too was clean and the mattress was comfy and the bed was also clean and crisp. Angel was helpful and calm and did his work efficiently. The night chick during my stay didn't smile at all and was unfriendly even tho I went out of my way to be kind. She smiled at us when we were being led out the door to the shuttle and said good-bye. Suggestion: You want to wow your guests...fix the issues above and offer 24 hr shuttle service.

Location to the airport is good...hotel was ok, a bit outdated and patch up repairs are obvious, could use a bit better cleaning but overall it was fine. Would stay here again if I had to fly out of Sanford again.

Horible stay yet again. Our room was double booked. We did not have a working phone or remote control even after asking several times. I was overcharged. The front desk lost my paperwork when I checked in.

The staff at this hotel was on point! I have not stayed at one in years. The front desk attendant was so helpful for this stay my dearest love and I had a great time here. She helped us find a wonderful place to eat. Also made arrangement for us to leave early to the airport. We have been in Florida for a week now and stayed at three hotels. This by far was the beat most comfortable place to stay. Thank you

We got in late from fight to Sanford, and there were not any parking spaces when we arrived at hotel, so parked by hotel sidewalk. Desk clerk was smoking by front door when we arrived. She was pleasant enough. When we got to our room it smelled horribly - musty, moldy. We should have asked for another room, but it was late and we figured hotel full by looks of parking lot. My husband wanted to watch TV before going to sleep but the TV did not work. Desk clerk came up, and after moving very heavy TV stand (with mini-fridge) and crawling around on floor, she figured out the problem. The included breakfast was terrible. The bacon was like rubber, and the eggs didn't look or taste like eggs at all.

I stay there the night before I fly home from FL often. Its a great place to stay, clean, comfortable, laundry rooms. They are within walking distance of a restraint. I would recommend it to anyone to try

The Best Western is conveniently located near the Orlando/Sanford Airport, and we felt it was a good choice for the night before our early morning flight. The room was clean, and the desk clerk was polite and friendly. They offer extended parking for a price that is about half what the airport charges, but the shuttle service to the airport wasn't a good option for us. We were afraid they would stop shuttle service before our return flight. Shuttle service stops at 10 and with our flight scheduled to come in around 9 we felt that any delays might keep us from being able to get back to the hotel. We made the right decision because our flight was indeed delayed so getting the shuttle back would have been an issue. Breakfast was okay and certainly adequate for a quick bite before our flight. If we ever need another hotel prior to a flight, we would book here again. Nothing was wrong, but there was nothing that really stands out as above what you expect from a quality hotel in this price range.

Loved my stay. Friendly staff . Great location for Sanford Airport, although I didn't use the breakfast service it started much earlier than other motels I stayed at. It was a good opportunity for breakfast before an early flight.

If you don't mind spending over $100 a night for a musty smelly room and low pressure shower this is for you. Very small rooms, Bathroom is outdated, and dust accumulation behind stands and bed. Nice employees tho.

We were a walk in. Staff was friendly, and prompt. Room was $99.00/night. Lobby was nice. This place has had a facelift but has not been maintained very well. It felt clean, but with a little more effort and maintenance It would be a four star. Beds and pillows were very good. Mid size fridge, microwave and nice TV included. Overall a nice room but again the details such as the bathroom corners which were filthy. They have a patio and grill but the tables were dirty, the tops shifted around and the area had not been cleaned for days. Breakfast area was great. They have a split service, continental from 4:30 AM-6:30AM then full breakfast after. Best Hotel to stay and fly. Close to airport and there is a Free Shuttle.

Had a very good experience at the hotel, nice upgrade but still some old things in there, the hotel was a better option for me compared to others(smaller rooms). The staff were all friendly. The Doors card entry needs to be upgraded, overall nice upgraded hotel.

Staying at Best Western Plus Hotels many times in the past, found room to be old, musty and airconditioner too noisy to have on. Tried leaving windows open to alleviate all the bad orders but there was it was rainy season. The bathroom was strange color green, nowhere to eat at hotel except vending machine. They may have had an airport shuttle we overheard someone staying there talk about, since we were leaving at 4 a.m., but it wasn't advertised anywhere in sight or their website.

Checking in and out was a breeze. Amanda handled every situation like a pro. Never had a shorter trip to the airport. We took advantage of the shorter distances to our destinations in Daytona Beach and Cape Canaveral and avoided I-4 and the heavy traffic in the Orlando area.

We only needed a place to sleep to get to the airport at 4AM. In my opinion, we paid way too much just to sleep for a few hours, but everything else was booked. The pool had caution tape around it and they were several poorly finished repairs that had been done around the room/bathroom.

Great place to stay when flying. Book ahead for the best rate. Hotel is always clean. Staff has always been great. Continental breakfast starts at 4:30, which is great when your flight leaves at 7 a.m.

This hotel is close to the Sanford Airport. Room was clean, staff were pleasant, bed was comfortable. Would stay again. Only one problem and that was they only had one shuttle which was full with 5 people and we were told to call a Taxi (which we were also told we would be paying for) or call and Uber (same outcome, plus too many bad stories about Ubers). This is bad situation for those who have first flights out at 6-6:15 AM.

Bring a light coat when staying here. The rooms are so humid that your skin gets clammy so you'll freeze with the air conditioner. Dont expect to sleep much. When mentioned to the desk clerk in the morning, she said she didnt know the rooms where very humid because she never stayed at the hotel.

Hotel in very nice condition. Staff very friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the hotel's shuttle from the airport. Was able to get our room early and after check-out they held our luggage while we waited a few hours for our ride. All around pleasant experience.

My room was wonderful! Suzanne runs one of the best breakfast rooms and keeps it spotless. This is THE place to stay. Access from I4.was about 6 miles but easy to get to going eastbound. I appreciated the parking for airport travelers.

Had a great stay everyone was lovely except one afternoon lady but room was comfortable and breakfast was good better then most hotels and kisha was so friendly and helpful even tho it was 5 am I will be coming back to stay at bestwestern

This place is overpriced. Suitable for overnight travel if need to stay close to airport but I would find another place.Recently painted by someone doing drugs: every door on our floor had paint on the door hardware AND missing spots. Same for inside. I was afraid to open my door it looked so bad on out side door. Room was clean unless you look close. Carpet was bizarre pattern and moldy smell in room. Tube faucet leaked and was turned off so tight we had difficulty turning on. Free breakfast ok but I couldn't eat the eggs. Checking in was fine although the clerk used few words and checkout was slow bec the clerk was missing. Turns out he was in the restaurant .

Shanita (possibly spelled Chanita) greeted us at the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful. She explained all of the amenities, offered a wake-up call, and made us feel welcome and appreciated.

The elevator was scary, made some strange noises and bumped. And had hard time finding ice machine located on another floor. Other than that great place to stay. Nice place would recommend to family and friends.

Our room smelled musty and moldy. The floor of the room was so dirty it turned our feet brown. This room was so nasty and no where near worth the 178 total i was charged. I would not reccomend this hotel.

I got in late from a flight. I went to hang my clothes in the closet and saw a small roach. The person at the front desk was a little crusty when I reported it at 1am, but she brought me a key for a room across the hall. The new room did not appear to have any roaches. The shower curtain was not large enough, and the shower curtain rail was hung crooked to make curtain coverage worse. The toilet also ran all night. The next morning, the front desk person was busy on the phone; so it was difficult to make any report. The breakfast was pretty typical. The shuttle driver was nice. Too pricey at one hundred and forty dollars. I am going to try to find another place close to the airport.

This place is a dump. Falling apart, dirty, toilet did not work. The place smelled. Had to wait for minutes as there was no one at the front desk waiting to check in. The shuttle did not run early enough for my flight so that did not help.

Way over priced! This place should cost less than $100/night. Caution tape around the pool gate, leaves all over in the pool. Hotel room smelled like urine. No shampoo in the room, shower curtain ripped. Bath tub was so gross that I wore my shoes in the shower!!! Never received our wake up call. Reported that the smoke alarm outside our room was chirping/low battery- never address it chirped all night long. Shuttle smelled like vomit. The only thing nice about this place was the staff. I was here with my family to catch an early morning flight out...wI'll never stay here agin!

Staff was unpleasernt and in a meeting at 1:00 in afternoon so no time to check me in after waiting at airport for an hour for a ride they knew I didn't have a car and manager said come back at 3 so I came back and was going to pool but couldn't get in because it was so dirty

Was convenient for getting to the airport. Had a 6:30 flight. Front desk offered me great directions back to the airport. Close to a Walmart and a few restaurants for a quick meal or finish off your stay in the area

Both stays were very good, except on the last stay, my headboard came down off the wall. When it did my head was leaning against it, it gave me a headache. I called the desk to let them know what happened. They did send an employee up to see if I was ok, which was good on your part. I explained what happen. other than that everything was excellent.

This hotel was perfect for 1 night prior to a morning flight out. The front desk staff was welcoming. The room was clean and had everything I needed. It looked like the room had recently been updated. Being able to leave my car at the hotel and use the airport shuttle service made everything very easy. The breakfast was mostly the usual items for a hotel,but the fresh blueberries were wonderful. There a good restaurants within a short distance that made getting dinner super easy & convenient.

Checkin and check out was fast. Beds slept well. Breakfast was decent. However the rooms smelled like mildew and were stuffy. It was close to airport and easy to find. There is a small outdoor pool but did not use.

The accommodations were good however there was only luke warm water for a shower. The shower head sprayed onto the ceiling, down the wall, and out onto the floor. However when I contacted the front desk, maintenance came immediately to fix it. The shower spout dripped water all night. I don't understand why housekeeping didn't notice the water spraying everywhere in the shower when they cleaned.

Beds were okay. We like 'clean' and it was just okay. Walls are thin and you can definitely hear other bathrooms/people talking. If we could have set the 'fan' on the air control to 'on' so it could run constantly there would have been no issue with noise, but there was no such setting. You get what you pay for and we did not want to pay much for one night before getting up early for our flight.

We booked this hotel due to proximity to the airport. We had spent 1 week at Universal Studios but had to be at the airport at 4:45 a.m. so arrived here at around 10pm the night before our flight. We were checked in pleasantly and efficiently. When we opened the door to our 1st floor room there was an overwhelming smell of mildew. We didn't voice a concern because we were only staying a few hours but it was very unpleasant. The tile in the bathroom is poorly done with chunks of grout missing. Beds and towels were clean and fresh. The continental breakfast was great and it was available at 4:30 a.m. when we were leaving so were able to grab some breakfast items to go.

These beds are wonderful! We stayed here on our trip because it was close to Sanford Airport. It's so clean and I slept so good. The air worked great! I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone flying into Sanford! The staff was so nice as well! If ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here!

Very clean hotel, with friendly staff. Free shuttle to and from the airport - which is only 5 minutes away. The breakfast included in the cost was FANTASTIC!! Plenty of hot food choices, fruit, yogurt, juices in a very clean and comfortable area. After our cruise we returned by Uber to the hotel around 10:30 am, and they quickly had a room available for us. They also recommended some sights in nearby city of Sanford, that you should visit if you have an extra afternoon or evening. Nice patio out back with grill if you wanted to cook your own meal.

Stayed for 5 days for field hockey event at Boombah Sports Complex. Found staff super friendly. Rooms were clean and cleaning staff were very pleasant. Conveniently located. Laundry area and business center were convenient.

After we missed our night flight check in time by a couple minutes on our way back from our honeymoon and had to wait till the next day to fly out (not a big Allegiant Air fan), we called this close hotel and they sent a shuttle and gave us a great discount after hearing our situation. Very friendly staff and clean room.

After reading numerous and very poor reviews with low star ratings on this hotel, I almost did not book. I AM SO GLAD I DID BOOK! Apparently, this hotel has been recently remodeled and is lovely. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly – especially the morning group that greeted me as I got ready to take the shuttle to the airport. The bright light that automatically comes on in the bathroom could be eliminated- way too bright, especially at night, but everything about this hotel was great! This would be the hotel of my choice, hands down, if I fly out of this airport again. Thank you

Stayed at B.W, for one night on our return flight from Sandford airport to Niagara Falls - hotel staff were great, especially Nikki - she directed us to Tittisville with our free afternoon to view Cape Canaveral and a local place to eat wings -showed us her son's fishing kayak he had gotten for Christmas - we were interested because we also kayak - breakfast was also great eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal etc and the free shuttle was waiting to take us to the airport - ran off our boarding passes for us the night before as we are seniors and didn't have an "apt" or smart phone - despite our worries about getting around, everyone was very helpful

We stayed for one night as we had an early flight and wanted to be close to the airport. Our room was clean, beds were comfy. We couldn't get the tv working it took about 5 minutes for someone to come change the setting and "fix" it. We loved the fact that breakfast started at 4:30am. We weren't expecting to actually get to indulge in the free breakfast because we had to be checked out before 6:00am but both teenagers found lots of food they liked. It was a little more than a 12 hour stay but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and had a good recommendation for dinner.

My family and I had a late arrival and were not expecting such a welcoming greeting at the front desk. Shanita was great! She was upbeat, pleasant and greeted us with a smile and was very through in covering everything about the hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had a short two night stay, but would definitely stay again.

The building was nice looking on the outside and the inside lobby area was nice. The staff was very friendly and the young lady who checked us in was exceptionally nice and helpful. Very friendly and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

My wife and I stayed here the night before flying back home and were disappointed. When we checked in we were surprised at how many cars were in the parking lot. We were told that many of them were travelers who had merely used the lot as long-term parking. We thought that it would have made sense to park these cars in the back of the hotel and save the main lot for actual guests. We also asked to have a room in a quiet area of the building. We ended up next to the loudest and most inconsiderate people we have ever encountered. We are wondering why, if the hotel is not full, you would put people in rooms next to an occupied room, especially when we requested a quiet area. I stay in Best Western Hotels all the time and usually love my stays. Not this time. Luckily this is the exception rather than the norm.

My family was down in Florida for a wedding. Had to fly out of Sanford airport early in the AM. Seen Best Western Plus and since was close to Airport stopped there. The front desk executive Nikki Robinson was wonderful to my family and very accommodating. The room was clean.

If you have a flight out or in thru Sanford Airport, I recommend staying at Best Western Plus. It is conveniently located and price is within market prices. They have been doing remodel work and thing have been looking better each and every visit we have been there.

It's a very nicely kept hotel, and very convenient to the Sanford Airport. My only very minor complaint is the kind of sloppy paint job in the bathroom, and I found the mattress a bit hard. Breakfast is typical. Really, if you stay here, you'll be happy with it.

It's very well located, near to Sanford Airport, the accommodations and pool were adequate, they have a very nice hot breakfast and loyalty program. However, the gym equipment was old and poorly maintained and the TV in the gym wasn't operational. Overall though, good family place to stay.

We stayed here after flying into Sanford Orlando Airport. A quick 5 minute drive but found out they do shuttles as well. Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. A hot breakfast comes with the stay as well.

My husband and I fly frequently to Europe from Sanford airport on Tui Airlines. Normally, we park our car at one of the airport's lots but this time we decided to try Best Western for parking. We paid 8 dollars a night for 18 nights. When we checked our car in the staff was a little stressed but we found out from our driver that they were having an important inspection that day. The driver appeared to be also the manager. I am giving this review a 5 star because of the front desk lady who took us back from the airport to the hotel upon our return. She was absolutely engaging, friendly, and just smiling all the time. I do not remember her name...maybe Shona, Shaundra...-African American with a huge smile. She made us feel welcome and after a long journey home it was good to see someone who seemed to genuinely care. 5 stars for her!!!!

Great place to stay! Everyone was friendly, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. My husband and I have been doing a lot of travelling lately and have stayed in a lot of different places. I would highly recommend Best Western to ANY of my friends or family that will be taking a trip and needing a place to stay. It was a very good, pleasant experience.

From the time we walked in the front door and greeted warmly, we knew it would be a wonderful stay. The shuttle service was efficient on the way to the airport and upon return, plus our car was safe while we were gone. Our room was clean, a little small, but we were just there to sleep and leave in the morning for the airport. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was set up plenty early for our 6 a.m. departure. We will make this our go to stop when flying out of Sanford/Orlando Airport!

We chose this hotel because we trusted Best Western hotels and it had a free shuttle to the Sanford/Orlando airport. The room was fine and the decorating was current. The staff was available when we needed them and helpful with their suggestions. The bathroom lacked towel bars but the towels were plentiful and well stored.

We were run out of Vero beach because of the Red Tide which was terrible. We wanted to try and salvage what was left of our vacation and get close to the airport. We were traveling with my elderly parents who aren't in the best health, mentally or physically. The staff at the hotel were very patient especially Nicki. She was so patient and understanding. Anthony was awesome, as we did not even arrive until 3am because our flight on Allegiant was almost 4 hours late. Even though we were extremely agitated, he was super positive and was able to put me in a much better mood. Thanks again, Anthony!

This hotel staff greeted me right away and was very polite. The room and bathroom are spacious. The bed was very comfortable and big. It is only a mile away from the airport and the shuttle was on time. Would highly recommend

The front desk staff were extremely helpful. We had to check out of our resort in Disney by 10am, drive the 45 miles to Sanford, and had no where to go because Best Western check-in wasn't until 3pm. When I called Best Western to explain our dilemma, the front desk said that she may be able to work something out. After arriving at 12:30, we found that she did have a room ready for us!! Yay!! She greeted us with a big smile, was extremely friendly, checked us in quickly, asked us if we needed a wake up call and informed us that there would be a continental breakfast available at 4:30am before we had to leave for the airport. She also let us know the wi-fi password and said that if we needed anything to not hesitate to call her. Our room was bright, clean, roomy, had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with coffee supplies, blow dryer, iron, ironing board, and toiletries. The room had two very comfortable queen size beds and many pillows. We were able to close the curtains darkening the room so that we were able to take a much needed nap. We couldn't believe how quiet this hotel was! Checking out was just as efficient and wonderful. The staff at this hotel is amazing. They went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and not wanting of anything.My only criticism was that the beds were too high for me to get into. (Which seems to be my issue in any hotel/resort we stay in these days). Luckily I still had the little stool I bought for the resort and just brought it with me to this hotel.

There was a lot of remodeling going on. There was a mildewy smell in the workout room, and we had to have someone open the workout room because our key wouldn't work. We had to leave too early to have breakfast. The shuttle service was great!

The room was clean and nice, although age starting to show. The pool was small and poorly located right in front of the doors to check in and next to the main road making it have zero privacy or feeling of relaxation. I did interact with a front desk attendant who was far above average in her approach, conversation skills, and genuine attitude. I wish I could remember her name but she was one of the best attendants I've met traveling.

Rooms need to be remolded , they are worn out . The bathroom has leaks and water runs . The shower head was horrible. Good place to stay if all your doing is trying to get close to the airport for travel reasons

The room was horrible. Window was wide open and a industrial dehumidifier was running in the room. Air conditioning was unplugged and hard to find plug in for it. Poop was on the toilet seat. Bed was filthy. Many bugs and some garbage was in the room. We asked for another room and was told hotel was full. I was dropped off by Uber so due to late check in was unable to get to a different hotel. I asked kindly for a reimbursement on room charge and hotel clerk was intimidating and said he'd do what he could which wasn't much at all. Terrible service terrible room. Only positive was shuttle driver was very kind and on time to airport. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The hotel clerk did remove the dehumidifier and was able to plug in air conditioning and did clean the poopy toilet seat.

This is a terrible hotel. I'm spoiled by being a Marriot Elite member, but the one local was sold out so we had to find another option for one night before continuing our trip. Disaster. First of all i booked a Holiday Inn Express, arrived at the address to find a Best Western. The clerk acted like i was an idiot or something, even though i had a confirmation email that said Holiday Inn! The facility is an old turd, remodeled with stone of the ugliest carpet I've ever seen. In the morning, the free breakfast was an unorganized disaster where everything was empty. I saw evidence that breakfast happened, but all i got was eggs. Nasty eggs. Then the real fun, power outages and no cable/satellite signal. Between 8-10 3 long power outages, and no cable all morning. I don't know if this is a strategy to get people to check out faster or a coincidence, but i don't really care, for my trip, disaster. No more Best Westerns for me, ever.

Parking lot was packed. Friendly check in. Bathroom light has motion detector and automatically turns on every time you enter (not always a good thing in the middle of the night). Rooms were good and breakfast was plentiful.

Close to the Sanford Airport in Orlando. Great for a early morning flight! Newly renovated - decorated modern in lobby. Rooms are normal as past. Clean, comfortable. We weren't there very long - had an early flight out the next morning. Pool looked fun- it was full. Lobby/ breakfast area were clean! We had to leave before breakfast started.

They are remodeling, so there were some minor problems, TV wasn't working, but the problems were taken care of quickly! Shuttle service was very convenient and reliable!. Breakfast was very good and staff was very friendly and helpful!!

We Always stay here when traveling from sanford airport. They offer free shuttle service to the airport, and the staff is friendly. Rooms are quiet and clean. Would recommend to any traveler. Breakfast is offered at 4:30 a.m. for the early flight out, and the even do bags.

The staff was very helpful and assisted us with getting a different room when the toilet in the one we were given was broken; however this hotel is in need of some serious updating and repairs the tiles in our bathroom shower were cracked and not small ones there was a gap and the towels were stored on the shelf below the vanity allowing some to fall onto the floor unusable. The tables in the breakfast area were not wiped off and were sticky and nasty. This hotel was close to the airport which was why we selected it but will not stay again.

Very disappointed. The photos speak for themselves. The shelf beneath the vanity was coated in dust. Sadly, that's where the clean towels were stored. Someone's chipped nail polish was what caught my eye....an entire piece of nail polish! Then I realized the entire floor was filthy. The rep at the desk said they were booked up and she couldn't do anything to help. I will NEVER stay here again. Cruise often and flew in late and wanted to stay somewhere close to airport. I have serious regrets. I hope that's all I get from my stay.

Around Midnight my wife, nine-year-old son, and I are startled awake by someone opening the door to our room. Turns out, the front desk put us in the wrong room and gave a key to another person who was originally assigned the room when he checked into the hotel. Imagine being fast asleep when a complete stranger has the door half-way opened to your hotel room! The deadbolt wasn't working properly, so the only thing that prevented him from just walking in was the bar lock. I'm not sure a hotel can make a mistake worse than this. On top of it, we had an early flight and had to be up at 5:00am. It took two hours for the adrenaline to wear off so we could get back to sleep for a few hours. We certainly won't be staying here ever again, as we value our safety and privacy too much to risk it.

This is an older hotel. It has been remodeled nicely. It had new carpet. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed at this facility after our cruise. We arrived very early and they went out of their way to welcome and accommodate us. They have a nice, small laundry room that was reasonable so we were able to wash some clothes. Breakfast had a very nice variety and was quite delicious! The staff was extraordinary. Their shuttle took us to the airport to ensure we were there on time for our flights.

Currently being Renovated and Yet still Clean and Attractive, Rooms are great Updated and Very Clean. Nikki Has been wonderful to work with and the Best Guest Relations Manage I've ever had the pleasure to work with as well as the rest of her team. We chose this hotel because it was close to the Orlando/Sanford airport. The rooms were clean and looked as if they had just been remodeled. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The commute to the airport in the morning was quick and easy. I will stay here again if the need arises.

Nikki was so helpful when we arrived. She made sure we got something to eat, as it was late and everything was closed when we arrived. She was sweet, caring and very helpful. The room was clean. We were very pleased we stayed here.

This is an airport hotel, and looks it. Pool is unattractive. Toilet ran or did not work. Air conditioner was loud. Bathroom looked shabby. On the plus side, staff was nice and helpful, they serve breakfast starting at 4:15 AM in case you have an early flight. Denny's nearby, but not as good as others I have been to, maybe it is the town, which seems like a way station for families visiting Mickey Rat.

Great service at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this facility for both business or pleasure. Excellent staff and very friendly. We will certainly choose this facility for our future visits to central Florida.

Great hotel with early morning shuttle service to Sanford Orlando International Airport. Rooms were freshly painted! Super Clean. The staff was very accommodating and willing to help with any needs. I will be recommending this hotel to anybody traveling to the area!

Great location, close to Sanford Airport with shuttle service to airport. Close to major chain restaurants and Seminole Mall. I-Hop right across the street and Mel's diner next door for breakfast and lunch. Was a Holiday Inn but now Best Western. Older established hotel that is well maintained.

The front desk staff are super- they let us check in to our rooms early, helped us navigate the lobby computer, printed our airport boarding passes for us, showed us the best local places to eat, shop and tour, provided us with free breakfast and shuttled us to the Sanford Airport free. The room we stayed in (room 415) was very spacious and quiet; it had 2 very nice, firm queen beds, a microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, large TV, super cool air conditioner, large picture window, coffee pot with all the fixins for coffee or tea, a large table, nice carpeting, desk and a large bathroom. The room and bathroom were both SPOTLESSLY CLEAN! There are several places to eat within easy walking distance from the hotel. When we are back in Sanford, we will definitely stay here again.

Very good service, very clean,large room, comfortable bed, superb WiFi, 10 minutes from airport with shuttle, very quiet., typical free type breakfast, egg omelette was not to my liking but wife was happy with other choices. Recommend this BW hotel to all travellers.

The best part was the free breakfast, which was great at 5am. Room phone didn't work so we couldn't call the front desk or have a a wake-up call. Someone was asked to fix this and they never did. Front desk seemed surprised. Clock broken. Bugs!!!! Room smelled of strong cleaning products. Door didn't close properly and when we stayed it was fully booked, so not possible to change rooms. Pool is out front of the hotel near a busy street, definitely not relaxing or enjoyable. Due to the bug issue, our room rate was discounted by 50%.

Room smelled of mildew and I was shown another room but it was the same thing...mildewy! I ask another lady staying there and she said her room smelled of mildew. I asked the lady at the from desk if they had had hurricane damage thinking maybe that was why it smelled of mildew, but she said no they didn't get any damage so I guess they have a mildew problem they don't want to address!

If you want a good night sleep and not have to drive far to the airport or restaurants this hotel is for you. It is easy to find and in a good location. The staff is very helpful and the prices are reasonable.

Hallway and room on 2nd floor had a strong musty odor smell, virtually no hot water for washing or showering, AC unit extremely noisy , I would not recommend this facility to anyone. It was extremely overrated. Glad our stay was just 1 night.

Very clean, very nice people,,, close to airport!! Has a spot to print out my Airline ticket. Love the back patio! Good breakfast! I diffidently would use this motel again. Also they used our AARP card to get a better rate.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel March 5. The price wasn't particularly cheap at $149, with taxes $166.88, so we figured we would be getting a very nice room to crash for the night. WRONG.. We were appalled... Ants on the floor and bathroom fixtures, hair in the tub, the tub would not completely shut off, and dirty beyond acceptable standards for a room of this price. If not for the fact we were too tired to hunt down another hotel, we would have asked for a refund and spent the night elsewhere. Do yourself a favor.... DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I picked this hotel because it was right around the corner from my friend's house. The pool was out front and small. Check in went smoothly. The room I stayed in had 2 queen beds and had been remodeled. The bathroom was clean and fresh. The beds were pillow soft and very comfortable. The internet signal was pretty weak in my room. Breakfast was from 6;30 to 9:30 and offered a variety of choices. In the lobby, there was a computer and printer where you could print out your boarding pass. Fitness room on the first floor. All rooms had inside entrances and a single elevator served all floors. Not a whole lot of parking spots. I got back late one evening and I had to park behind the building and walk around front. All in all, I had a very positive experience at this hotel.

The Hotel room has a mildew stench and the room was dirty with a layer of dust on the baseboard. The faucets leaked. The pillows were not even standard pillows, they were small square decor pillows. The breakfast had rotten fruit wrapped in plastic wrap. I paid $170.36 for this room and have asked for a refund. What do you think my chances are in getting it? On the bright side, the check in counter staff and the shuttle woman were very pleasant and helpful.

$215 American isn't exactly cheap. We stayed at a Best Western Premier in Miami and it was much nicer than this for almost the same price. The hotel was fine and everything looked positive until my wife started noticing Cockroach looking bugs in the bathroom and on the tile in the main part of the hotel room. We were there 16 hours and she killed 4. That's not impressive... Best Western needs to do better. I would steer clear of this hotel even though it is close and convenient to San Ford Airport.

Very good. One night stay. Took the shuttle to Sanford airport. Good internet service. Bed had 12 inch mattress. Used computer station to print boarding past with no problems.breakfast at 4:30 am was cereal and bagel with hot food at 5:30 am.

I used to love and trust Best Western hotels. I will think twice about staying at one again. To start off, I asked for a late check-out and was told that the best they would do is noon instead of 11 a.m. I usually ask Marriott or Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn and Suites for 1 p.m. and have never been told no. How funny that this place wouldn't even budge on that. The I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and enjoyed that. But whatever you do, don't sit on the couch. It was so broken down that it sank in the middle. My husband and I sat down and almost slid together it was so bad. Thank goodness we didn't have anyone to sleep on the pull out bed part of it. If the seating was that bad, imagine how bad the mattress inside must be! It came with a little sink in the kitchen area that was dirty and grubby and had leftover food in the sink. The cupboards had dead roaches in them. Dead is better than alive but, please! The light on the desk hadn't seen a dust cloth or a cleaning around the buttons/knobs in a very long time. Yucko! Then to top if off when I went to get into bed there was hair on the sheets!! OMG! Seriously? By bedtime you don't want to try to have someone come and change your sheets so you just lay a towel down and pray that you don't get up with something you didn't have on you when you went to sleep! We won't even talk about the mold growing under the shower faucet or the dirty bathroom sink. Just let the buyer beware about this place. I also wonder if we could have a sign with "hotel etiquette" in all hotels everywhere?! What is it with people letting their children run up and down halls and when the parents leave the room they let the door slam? Does no one realize that there is people on the other side of these many doors in the hallway or on the floor below or above you?! There's no excuse for a hotel to be this grubby when you pay $160 USD a night.

This was the absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had in all my years of traveling for personal or work. Roaches crawling on the wall and then eventually one showed up on my bed. Ended up sleeping in the lobby because I was afraid of what would crawl on me at night. Hotel said they didn't have any other rooms to put me in; nor did they offer to put me in another hotel. Bad customer service overall.

We arrived on a late flight into Sanford and decided to drive to our final destination the next day. There was reasonably priced food and snacks that we purchased that evening.We were well rested and had a great breakfast before we left.

My room was clean. The check in, check out and shuttle staff where all helpful and friendly. Quick shuttle ride for early morning flights. Breakfast was good but could use a little improving on keeping all food available.

Very disappointed by the condition of my room. I noticed several bugs in bathroom and I found a dirty towel and trash under counter. After first nights stay it appeared that they just made the bed..trash left (including the dirty towel and cup from previous guest) in room and no restock of coffee. Plus, what's up with connecting the iron holder to the ironing board marking it worthless....Breakfast buffet was amazing and well maintained! This is more like a $90 a night stay...not $150.

Clean, updated room. given a suite which was great! Comfy bed, good selection of continental breakfast even when leaving at 530 am. Close to Sanford airport. Would stay again on our next vacation for sure!

We stayed here to catch an early morning flight. It was 2.5 miles from airport. Funky color scheme of rooms and hall way. Sheets were rough. The heater was very loud in the room. Other than close hotel to airport no benefit of staying her. Room $160.00 more like. 75.00 room max.

The hotel needs an urgent upgrade in the cleaning, the sheets are dirty and the floor also. The carpet in the aisle is really dirty and spotted the air conditioning sounds a lot and disturbed our sleep. I think that with a little effort the hotel could recover a great appearance, but needs to be done so quickly in order to avoid a major disaster

Great location & very friendly staff. The breakfast had a great variety to be included. They have made lots of improvements. The beds are super comfortable & the location was ideal. Close to the airport with lots of food & shopping options.

I am a Diamond member there for I can compare hotels one to another. I grade tis hotel as average even though the room was of quality but the price seemed high. The breakfast was borderline terrible. The building and lobby were quite common.

The airline put me up in this hotel after they cancelled my flight on New Year's Eve. I understand there most likely was very few rooms left by 5 pm on New Years Eve, but that in itself it telling, when there was a dance group of over 30 people on this flight that needed lodging as well...............and Best Western had rooms.......... Upon entering, I got a very uneasy feeling as the first door I walked past had a barking dog. Everything in here was dark...old.........I felt the bugs crawling all over me before they came out of the walls. No Thanks... Via Air.........You can do better than this....

We returned from a cruise & found this hidden gem right by the Sanford airport. Great location super close to airport. Staff was super friendly & helpful. Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was a nice included bonus.

I like Best Western, but unfortunately this location was not up to standard. The room we stayed in had a bad "musty wet basement" smell due to the air conditioner filter. They have recently renovated the hotel, but did not UPGRADE their air conditioners. They are the original. Too bad because the overall appearance of the room was good. Bathtub was old as well, not upgraded.

It's in a pretty good area as far as getting to shop, getting something to eat, getting in and out without any problems.... The bed is super comfy and they've chosen a different color scheme, than most hotels, and I like it because I like greens and some of the stuff looks newly renovated but.... The room looked clean but the smell from the AC is killing me. I've had to take Benadryl and I can barely breathe. The cabinets are really old. There's mold and grime in a few places in the bathroom and I just can't handle it... The tub will not hold water. I've had to fill it up four times and I just gave up. The water is hot, the sink is nice, the TV is nice... they need to thoroughly clean all the AC units, totally scrub the entire bathroom, and replace the TV stand... and then it would be OK...

I had read many reviews before booking this stay that were very mixed. So we decide to try it, we were not disappointed whatsoever. There have been many updates and an obviously very expensive remodel project that has taken place since some of the previous reviews I read. Our room was extremely clean, neat, and fresh linens. HOT breakfast was delicious, everything was fresh and well prepared. We stayed overnight for our Christmas party on the riverboat, and it's a very convenient ride to downtown to the boat. About a 10 minute ride. We'll be back!

Park and Fly service is promised on reservation website and denied at check.in. The staff response aimed at redirecting responsibility for reserving the service to the customer prior to arrival when the website clearly indicated such service is created at check in (like a wake up call) and impossible to accomplish in advance. Shameful. They belong on the Naughty List!

This hotel was the best thing I could find to catch my early am flight at SFB. That being said, they know they are pretty much the only thing around, so the rooms are overpriced. Worth about $70...charged $100. One room we booked was musty smelling. The other was okay, despite the prominent stain on the decorative pillow in the center of the bed. Would stay again if needed, but would still be unhappy about the cost. Front desk staff could stand to work on friendliness, but was efficient and knowledgeable. Hotel decor very modern and cute. Didn't get to stay to eat the hot breakfast, but the selections looked like they were great. Bisquits and gravy and two waffle makers.

1st room had roaches. We found food debris behind the nightstand. They only moved us to another room after I captured a roach and took it to the front desk. One employee did her best to help us the other on duty did not seem to care much.

very nice hotel in good location. room and hotel is very clean. room did have an odd perfumed odor but was clean and comfortable. breakfast had many choices and all night coffee and tea was a welcomed sight. pool was cold and that was our only complaint. staff very friendly and helpful. beds were so comfortable.

Rooms air conditoner noisy, building had a musty smell. Sadly we have stayed here and it appears that the building has deteriorated since it was renovated a few years ago. Though it is very convenient to SFB we probably will stay at a different hotel as we were not impressed with the quality,

Stayed twice for total of three days and was very satisfied. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff, especially Suzanne, were friendly and supportive. Breakfast, starting at 0600, was plentiful and typical. Local restaurants withing walking distance are few and far between.

This was my third time staying at this location. I have never had a bad experience. The facility is very clean including the sleeping rooms. The staff is very professional, friendly and eager to provide customer service. I have never walked into the hotel without someone at the front desk acknowledging my presence even if I'm just passing by.

I stayed a night and had a good experience. I was traveling with my husband, daughter, daughters friend, son, and 3 grandkids. The suite was spacious the room had a lil stench but that was nothing the front desk couldn't solve. I went down stairs to get a few extra blankets it was a full lobby. Front desk let me know they would bring the blankets up in 30 mins or so and sure enough they brung them up right away. Susanne and I shared how we got our names. The girl with the twist in her hair fell in love with my dog. She was very helpful keeping a eye on him while we unloaded and parked the car. She was very sweet as well. We all got a good laugh.Thank You Guys ill be back around Christmas time. You have made a forever friends.

Hotel is very convenient to the Orlando Sanford International Airport and provides a free shuttle to the airport. Rooms nice, clean, breakfast is typical Best Western - Property is close to the SunRail station on Lake Mary Boulevard (1 mile or so away) for those wanting to duck down to Orlando.

This is a great hotel the decor was really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a good breakfast and kept it nicely stocked through out the morning. We were flying out of the Orlando Sanford Airport which was less than ten minutes away it was so convenience to the airport!

Area of town is a little run down but this hotel has been kept up pretty good. Took less than 10 minutes to get to the airport using hotel shuttle service. I'd stay here again if I was flying out of Sanford.

Upon arrival I immediately had to squash a cockroach on the carpet of the room. Throughout the night, I killed at least five cockroaches scurrying across the bathroom floor. I would never stay in this hotel or any Best Western again, nor ever recommend one to someone else.

Stayed one night at the Best Western in Sanford due to an early morning flight the next day out of Sanford airport. The room was clean and the location was safe. The only complaint we had is a motion detector light switch in the bathroom. Nobody wants a bright light to come on when the use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Close to the airport so location was great, coffee station was nice touch. large clumps of hair left in the bathroom and lots of tiny trimmed hairs all over the phone ...could be more clean. Would stay again.

Poor quality in the decision to not change the doors and frames brings hallway noise almost inside of the guest rooms. Not a good place to relax at all! Small things, like clean and unscratched irons causing me to purchase one was an inconvenience! Plus, the room had an "old" smell despite it looking renovated and remodeled...

The accommodations were exceptionally nice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful as well as conversant. Internet and TV were inaccessible which was very frustrating!!! Overall, being just one night and having shuttle from and to airport made this a repeat visit.

We used this hotel due to a very early flight and found it to be perfect - couldn't get much closer! Great rate, too. Didn't have a chance to try the breakfast but feel confident it would be fine based on our overall satisfaction with this hotel.

We had an early flight out of Sanford/Orlando Airport and decided to stay at the BW+ near the airport. Nice hotel, rooms were very clean, parking was sufficient, and a good number of restaurants were nearby (however, some were not as 'nearby' as others). Getting to the airport was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

I am pleased with the service and courtesy the staff provides. They do above and beyond to accommodate customer's requests and the accommodations are excellent. I always enjoy the breakfast provided every morning.

If you are staying for cruise, airport or auto train this hotel is for you. It is extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was above par. You are also outside of The Disney crazy zone where hotel rates can be downright obscene for a quick over night stay,

Extreme mildew smell. Baby roaches in room. Poor service: wrong info on breakfast times, no response to rollaway bed request, forgot wake up call ( smell woke me up, anyway). Best thing about hotel was proximity to airport.

Parking was not good, HATED motion sensor on bathroom light, I stayed on second floor and WIFI was poor. My rooms were clean very nice, as was the motel. Breakfast was Great! So many selections, and the blue berries and raspberries were wonderful. Staff was very nice. There were lots of snacks etc to buy at the front desk. Oh, the coffee was very good. Was shocked that caned drinks from the drink machines were only $1.00 !!! Did I mention....I HATE THE MOTION SENSOR ON THE BATHROOM LIGHT!

Booked the room for my son and his wife to stay since we were booked was supposedly full. they had a nice stay, room was good and clean. bed was comfortable. didnt eat the breakfast. people were freindly and helpful

Hotel was fairly clean just a patch work over outdated rooms. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was better than average. Room was very musty smelling. A/C not cold. They need a good exterminator. Bugs bugs bugs. Not ample enough parking.

High price and bad quality, unwelcoming staff, toilet was not clean, 145 dollars per night for such a service is not worth it at all, take an uber and stay in Orlando is better for you, the problem is with rentals at sanford airport closing early, so you might need to use an uber, but take it all the way to Orlanod and stay in Orlando instead of this hotel in Sanford.

My husband and I stayed here only for one night , but it was decent. We had a clean room, clean bathroom (most important to me), and bed was comfortable. The staff was super friendly, from the shuttle driver to the counter. Would stay again.

The beds here alone are worth staying at this BW Hotel. Slept like a baby!!!! EXCELLENT QUALITY. The only item I can address is providing a dark roast, regular roast and decafe roast of coffee instead of instant.

disappointed in this hotel...bugs everywhere all over dresser and desk and some in the bed baby ants.. told the staff and nothing .. we are booked up... then checking I tell them again nothing yes we saw you note that's it not even sorry

Hotel is beautifully decorated. However, you cannot book your shuttle ahead of time/reserve your time slot. This makes it hard to make sure you make an early morning flight on time if other guests check in before you arrive.

Our room was not clean. In fact there were many ants. If not for it being fairly late after a long drive and our not noticing the ants before getting ready for bed we would have checked out. I informed the front desk in the morning but they did not seem to really be bothered by the fact. Stay elsewhere.

The motel is dated, however it is clean and it worked out well for a quick jaunt to the airport. We would stay again. Easy access to everything. It is a bit of a ride to a good restauarnt approximatly 19 minutes. Plenty of fast food around that is closer.

We booked this hotel as Hurricane Irma bearing down on our hometown. The hotel staff was less than friendly upon arrival. During the storms approach the staff threw a drinking party in the lobby with blaring music. The fact that the management was drinking and created chaotic environment for the guests instead of an orderly/professional atmosphere was very unnerving. During the storm our we realized the window in our room was vibrating only to discover it was loose and not attached to the frame. We asked for assistance and were told that no one could help us. We went back down and inquired again because of tornadoes in the area and they moved us to the second floor. As we were moving into the "new" room, the room across from us opened the door with ankle high water flooding into the hallway. They had no generator and so the floors were pitch black. There was standing water in the stairwells that we all used. The overall situation was handled poorly and made a challenging situation even worse!

This hotel is minutes from the Sanford airport. The rooms are clean and quite nice, the staff is friendly and helpful and they provide a shuttle to and from the airport. It is not a 24 hour shuttle but begins quite early in the morning and runs until 10:00 at night but please don't take this as the gospel and call the hotel first to confirm. The hotel is on a main thoroughfare with many dining options and there is a Walmart and grocery store and just about every other chain store imaginable not to far away. They have a nice continental breakfast so you can grab something before you get to the airport so you don't have to pay their outrageous concession prices. I think my only complaint was they have this coffee machine that spews out the worst coffee but other than that I say thumbs up for this hotel and I would stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel many times as it is close to Orlando/Sanford Airport and they as have a shuttle. I am not sure if it is under new management but this was how best experience I have had. The front desk check in person at 2:00 P.M. Was very friendly and helpful. Even had an upgrade to suite on 4th floor. Room was cleaned and well stocked with towels and toiletries. I was impressed that they had a light breakfast starting at 4:30 AM.(Toast, bagels, fruit, yougart, pastries) Later they serve a full breakfast) Not many hotels think of those who have early flights or leaving early. Will definitely stay here again.

First room they put us in had a musty smell. The staff had no problems with giving us a different room. 2nd room had a small issue with the toilet but was resolved quickly. Room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly.

We stayed here for 1 night as we had an early morning flight out of Sanford airport. Less than a 10 month minute drive to the airport. Continental breakfast starts as of 4:30am with a nice variety. Rooms are clean and seem renovated. Worth it!

Couldn't use internet because of poor connection. When I reserved a room online, I realized the page had refreshed back to the current date instead of the date I wanted to book. I called the hotel, right away, to see if it could be fixed. The lady I spoke with on the phone was not very friendly, however, she fixed my mistake and reserved the date I needed. As I was thanking her for it, she hung up on me. No "good bye." Just hung up. I told my husband and a few friends about this. I was hoping she wouldn't be the one to greet us upon check in. However, she was. The only way I knew, was her poor customer service. Again. As I stood at the counter, feeling as if I was interrupting her, she remained seated, didn't look up at me and said "Can I help you?" I said "yes, checking in please." Not once did she smile or show any sign of wanting to be there. When I went out to the car after checking in, I told my husband "no doubt, that's the same one who hung up on me." After we got settled into our room, my husband went to the counter and asked the same employee about taking the shuttle. She told him it was full. He asked if she would be able to get him a taxi and she said she would. When he came back, he said, he must have spoken to the same person I had because she was rude and not very friendly. I told my husband that I would take him to the airport and to cancel the taxi. He then called the front desk from the room to let her know. She hung up on him. The next morning as we were leaving the hotel at 4:45 am, we walked out through the back door and another guest had told us to be careful when we got to the door because something was spilled on the floor. We tried to avoid it but it covered most of the floor. Our (90 pound) dog wasn't able to avoid it, slid and hit her face on the floor. After returning to the hotel from dropping my husband off at the airport, I notified the gentleman at the desk about the spill at the other end. I could tell as I was telling him this that he was already aware and told me he'd get to it. As I walked away, I wondered to myself if there was anyone who works at this hotel who is actually happy or friendly. I would rather drive a half hour and stay somewhere else than experience this again.

I stayed at this hotel the night before I was due to fly out at the nearby airport. The room was actually a one bedroom suite and was beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped with a kitchen, separate bedroom and bathroom that was accessible from the bedroom and the living area. Very nice and unexpected. I would definitely stay there again!

We had an early flight to catch and drove almost an hour from Disney to be close. It's a safe place for a single woman with kids and well kept. Breakfast starts at 4:30 am with hot items added at 6:30 although we didn't take time to eat but snatched some apples. Everything is newly updated except the shower which looked pretty sad. But it worked and that's all we needed.

I am a rewards member and although I am not a frequent guest I have been a guest for over 40 years at your hotels. I stayed in Lake Mary/Sanford FL a few years ago and it was a wonderful experience and the stay and fly program was a great deal....that was then, this is now. Stay date was July 20,2017 My Grandson and I were flying to Illinois on an early morning flight so my daughter suggested we stay with you. Reservation made months in advance. I called the hotel at 7pm to ask about the morning shuttle as I knew it would be 9pm before we arrived. The hotel clerk was short and rude, telling me I had to check in before she would give me any information. After asking her twice, I hung up. We arrived about 9pm to check in and again I met a very rude desk clerk. She demanded a credit card with a 100 dollar deposit even though my daughter had just called that night to discuss that the charges be on her card. I inquired again about the shuttle and was met with hostility and demands for pre-payment before she would give me the information on shuttle time. I fianlly said NO THANK YOU I was given a room key and off we went to our room. When I slid the card the door unlocked but when I pushed on the door the saftey lock caught and a man yelled get the ffff out! Here I am with my 6 year old grandson, 9pm in an empty hallway with someone yelling at us. We quickly went downstairs to the desk. I said to the clerk, someone is in that room.....She said, NO THERE IS NOT, NO ONE IS IN THAT ROOM! I returned with mam, you may go check but I am 58 years old, I am sober and I know an angry man yelled at me when I attempted to get in his room.....she says no way, did the key unlock the door? Yes mam.....and its occupied! Every word from both clerks mouths were hostile, there was no pleasantness at all. Literally 10 minutes later while I am standing there she gives me another room key. We entered a hot room and I nearly came unglued......I did get the air conditioning on and we tried to get relaxed.......30 minutes later, someone tried to enter my room!!!! The same senario as I had just encountered.....they said sorry and left We finally got to sleep at 1130 and up at 430 to fly. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND I ASK FOR A REFUND OR A GUEST CREDIT TO STAY AT ANOTHER BEST WESTERN PLEASE.

Location was ideal since we were flying out of Sanford Orlando airport the next morning at 6 AM. Staff was efficient but not at all engaging more friendly. I asked several questions and got one word answers. Felt like I was more of an inconvenience than a guest.

It was a perfect location. The shuttle was so convenient because I didn't have a car. Food and shops were in walking distance. The staff were great. They were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very nice and clean.

Have used this hotel twice before. This hotel has comfortable beds, clean rooms, good breakfast presentation. Love proximity to Orland/Sanford airport. Very satisfied. Would highly recommend. Thought room was a little pricey, but could have been time of year.

Fine hotel for overnight stay and shuttle to the airport. You can leave your car for a cheap rate. Beds were comfortable and staff was great. We would use the again in our next early morning flights. Didn't use there free breakfast but it looked ok.

Hotel is neat and clean. Staff is very pleasant. However, my neighbor with the adjoining door needs to turn the tv down/off. Location to airport & Seminole sports park is perfect. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Air conditioner leaked all over the floor! Floors had not been vacuumed for awhile! Shower was very weak! Not a great area to go walking around at night! Close to airport though! Not worth the price I paid for the room!

We stayed here for one night as we were due to catch a flight early the next morning. The room was average and clean. The pool looked so so, we didn't use. There was a complimentary continental breakfast of breads, cereals, fruit, juice and yogurt. There was a later more detailed breakfast after 6:30 but we had to leave early. Staff was very pleasant. Not a lot in the area for dining, you would need a car. Shopping mall about 10 minute walk. The shower acted strange and changed temperature halfway through my shower. It was ok for one night.

The check- in staff was great. But everything went down hill from there. Elevator was broken. So I had to carry my luggage up 4 flights. Sticky carpet. The night shift lady was rude. They forgot to make the wake up call. When I took my breakfast to my room and cut into the eggs...they were green! The screen was broken and it's a good thing I didn't have small children because the window could be fully opened! But the man who drove me to the airport was very friendly.

The location of this hotel was fine for a stay near the Sanford airport. I found it in a rather "so so" neighborhood and the room was rather "so so" too. The transfer service was great, as they offered a complimentary taxi when their shuttle was full.

We stayed here because of it being close to Sanford airport. We needed to be up and out by 5 am. Their coffee and cold breakfast in morning started at 4:30 I think. We got our hot coffee! We only stayed here a few hours overnight. Staff and film were great. Everything was clean and everyone was courteous. Checking and out was easy. We didn't use the shuttle service, but it is available. I'd stay here again for same reason. Thanks!

If you are flying from Sanford/Orlando Airport, this is the place to stay. Rooms are spacous and clean, staff is friendly and helpful. They provide shuttle service to/from the airport (about a 5-10 minute drive). Just be sure your return flight gets into the airport before 9:00 pm, because that is the last shuttle run of the day. The charge for parking your vehicle at the hotel ios considerably under what the airport charges..

I've never walked into a hotel room with bugs crawling all over the top and bottom of the covers until this one. Being close to the airport, we changed rooms but had terrible service. There were two raccoons kicking it by the dumpster outback if you like that too

This property is conveniently located to the Sanford/Orlando airport with free shuttle service to and from the airport. Although it is in desperate need of refurbishing, its friendly and efficient staff greatly make up for its tattered appearance.

Very nice hotel with easy access in and out. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Very fresh smell and very clean. Close to airport and major highways. If in the area I will definitely stay here again.

Mildewy smell as soon as you walk in and AC does not blow more than on low. If you're hot natured, not a good choice. Front desk folks are nice and it is convenient to Orlando/Sanford that's the only positives here. We expect better when staying at Best Westerns.

Stayed here for one night so we could be at the Sanford-Orlando Airport. Daughter dropped us off, so we were without a vehicle. Check in was easy and front desk polite and courteous. Room was great. Would stay here again. Only complaint, all the vending machines on each floor that had them was empty. Used Uber to get to restaurants.

I read all the reviews online and nervously booked this hotel. It was the best option for me traveling with an early morning flight. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel staff and the accommodations. The hotel is older but remodeled nicely. We stayed in a handicapped accessible room as I was traveling with my 85 year mother. It was a very good experience- nice clean room with no issues, and the best most caring staff. I would definitely use this hotel again and recommend it.

Great location very close to the airport. Gas stations are close by as well to fill up the rental. Very friendly staff and very willing to help you out with all your questions. 2nd time that we have stayed here and we will definitely be back.

Let me start with pleasant professional staff, bacon for breakfast, comfortable beds, clean rooms, quiet hotel, pleasant staff, bussiness center and shuttle to airport. Did I mention the bacon with breakfast?

Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean but did need some maintenance in the shower. Bed was very comfortable. Wonderful driver in the a.m. to transport to the airport. Good place to stay in flying in or out of Sanford Airport.

The room was clean, the staff was courteous and helpful. The room was quiet compared to other rooms I have had. The express checkout was nice since we had to leave very early in the morning. The breakfast was good, there was a good selection of items, everything I tried was good. The in room internet was good and fast. I used the wired internet so I can't comment on the wireless. The only thing I was not 100 % satisfied with, was the room smelled musty, but not enough to complain about. I will stay again when I am in Sanford.

Great place to stay. Clean rooms and the free breakfast is excellent. Very convenient to everything. Pet and children friendly. The staff is always eager to help in any way they can. Close to Disney as well.

We stayed one night- to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. The room was outstanding- clean and comfortable. Breakfast was early enough as was the shuttle- for our needed check out time. We've stayed at other places when having to leave early and can't get either! I highly recommend this hotel. The updated rooms were very nice, however the one negative thing was the old shower head. Very little water pressure. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. The proximity to sanford airport was perfect, less than 10min.

Close and convenient to the Sanford Airport for arrival or departure. Reasonable price and service for one or two day transition. Would not want to stay for extended visit due to location, amenities and overall quality but it was reasonable in all ways. Breakfast was more than reasonable competitively speaking. Great selection

My wife and I stayed here (and did park and fly) going home to take care of business in the middle of our winter vacation in Florida. This hotel is was prefect. We felt safe leaving our car for the week. Shuttle to the airport and return was easy. Breakfast was delicious. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to park and fly. Dr. Watson

Not a fancy hotel but close to the Sanford Airport. We got in on a late flight and didn't want to travel until the next day. Room was quiet; had all we needed.Comfortable bed and the front desk was helpful. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.

The stay was OK but the breakfast was terrible when we went down to eat there was nothing hot to eat. just fruit and juice. No eggs or sausage. everything hot was gone. we went down at 5:30 am thinking that that would be soon enough but no.

Arrived late and left fairly early but bed was comfortable and included breakfast was just what I wanted with fruit, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. I was assigned to a room directly across from the elevator which disrupted my sleep at 4:30 but was eventually able to go back to sleep. Also the A/C has a common problem that you can't set the fan to run continuously and let the compressor cycle as needed to provide more restful sleep.

Plus: the staff is friendly. But this hotel is beat up and dirty, the shower had a leak and had mold in all 4 corners. The water in the shower barely got warm (and took about 5 minutes to get to that temp)and I killed 4 bugs in the bathroom. The pool area is basically in the parking lot with a metal fence around it. I only stayed one night before a flight, and I was actually happy to have to get up at 4 am for my flight to get out of there.

The bathroom floor was duty. There was a buildup of dirt behind the toilet and sink. Bugs were in the tub and on the night stand after I woke up. I was very disappointed in the quality of the room for the amount of money I spent. The issues listed above needs to be corrected before I would stay or recommend this hotel to anyone. I was very disappoint and itched the whole next day. I didn't have time to farther my complaint due to having to catch a flight.

Room was nice but had dirty corners. Breakfast help was not very friendly. Beast western is one of the few rewards programs that does not offer something like a free snack with their rewards program. Nice but not great value

Hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly. Shuttle service was very convenient. It was easy to arrange and I not only needed a trip to the airport but a trip back after dropping off a friend. Hotel has hot chocolate available for its guests as well as coffee which is nice for kids.

Room was very dirty. Floors were not clean. There was Mold on caulking in shower. There were No parking spots available had to park in the driveway. Rooms smelled musty. Gross bag of something hung behind the tv cabinet. Had to unplug the refrigerator it was so noisy. Staff was nice.

I chose this property because of the shuttle service to and from the Sanford Orlando Airport. We checked in late and the room was incredibly musty. I was going to request a room change but my party told me not to bother since we'd be getting up at 4:30 the next morning. As I switched off the light on the night stand, I noticed dust on the lamp. As it turns out the shuttle that I counted on was not available (or full) going and coming back to the hotel. The hotel did provide a taxi at their expense (which arrived 15 minutes late). A week or two after I arrived home from my trip I took the time to write the property's manager about the musty room and another issue or two. Months later, not a peep from him, he blew me off. I find that outrageous and worse than my other grievances at the hotel. I am of the belief that the fish is rotting from the head at this place.

Very courteous staff at check in. Assigned to room on 4 th floor walked into room and right away my wife and I both noticed the room smelled like pee, walked across carpet with shoes off and socks ended up brown, carpet needed to be shampoos badly. Walked into bathroom and toilet did not work handle was broke water still in tub from not draining properly. Talked with front desk about our room was assigned a new room and that room was fine

Close to Sanford airport good transportation to airport. When they had no room in the shuttle , they called a cab for us . Good breakfast . Not a fancy hotel but good for a 1 night stay . Can leave car for a charge.

We stayed at the Best Western Sanford airport/ Lake Mary hotel on Tuesday 11/15/16. We were there because we needed to catch an early morning flight. During check in we requested the shuttle to the airport for 5:30 am, and were told we were all set. When we got to our room we put our luggage down and left for dinner. Later that night when we were back in our room we noticed how dirty the room and bathroom was!! Mold within the shower and corners of the bathroom full of dirt and who knows what else. The Carpet looked like it haven't been vacuumed in a long time especially behind chairs etc. We had been traveling all day, and were too tired to deal with changing rooms. Early the next morning we got down to the lobby around 5:15 to catch our shuttle to the airport. When we checked out and double checked about the shuttle we were told that they had ordered a cab to take us to the airport because the shuttle bus was full. "Is it running on time"the clerk working the front desk said that they were always on time and reliable. I also talked to him about the dirty room, and bathroom, the mold, etc. his response to me was " that's unusual, we never get those type of complaints". Not a so sorry, we will fix that, Thanks for telling us. NOTHING! 5:30am, no cab 5:35am, no cab at this point I went into the lobby and again asked about the cabs arrival. I was told he was running a little behind. The front desk clerk said "you have plenty of time", in a very condescending tone. I went back outside. Almost 25 minutes later our cab arrived. We got into the rundown van that smelled like cat pee, and luckily made it to the airport and made our flight. Between the filthy room, shuttle issue, and cab ride I will NOT stay here again.

We stayed at the Best Western in Sanford for a few days prior to our flight back to Niagara Falls, NY from the Sanford Airport. It was a great value; good hot breakfast; within walking distance of many restaurants and not just fast food. Pool was nice but their tables could have used a few umbrellas because, while I like to soak up the sun, my hubby doesn't. Only about a half hour to Orlando. All in all a pleasant interlude while waiting to go home.

Stayed at this hotel with my family (wife and two young children) on Thursday, Oct. 27th, the night before a flight back home. Our Allegiant flight left at 7am on a Friday, so we stayed here and took advantage of the free shuttle to the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful upon check-in. The room was a little musty smelling, and it didn't go away with the A/C on. But, we were exhausted and hungry from a long day of travel, so we overlooked it, and headed to dinner. Since we had no car we actually ended up walking to the Sonny's BBQ restaurant down the street. There's a crosswalk, but don't trust Florida drivers - they DON'T STOP for anything (I lived there my whole life - it's a wonder I'm still alive!). And this place is on a busy road. It took about 5 minutes to walk to the restaurant. There's also a Walmart and a couple of other fast food places within walking distance or a short drive. The worst part of our experience was in the morning. We went to the lobby to grab breakfast before the shuttle left. There were several TVs on. I turned and, to my shock, one TV was playing an adult film. Nothing strikes terror in the heart of a parent (this parent anyway) then when your seven year old looks up at that. Not good. I ran over to the front desk and asked for the remote control so I could turn the channel. Apparently all the nearby stations were porn as well - channel after channel was the same thing...seriously!!?? After what felt like 45 minutes (probably only 10-15 seconds), I finally landed on a news channel. Come on folks, what you do in your room is your business. But in a public hotel lobby with young kids around? We grabbed our coffee and kids and went outside to wait for the shuttle. The shuttle was right on time and the driver was super friendly - which is saying a lot at 5am!

I'm shocked at the review earlier this same day. We stayed here on 10/30. Our room was very clean and spacious. No bugs in sight. Our room at the resort this week was very cramped. We liked the warm Breakfast there was plunty to choose from. We stayed here because it was minutes from the airport and we didn't want to rush. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed on a 3rd floor room with no issues at all. Thanks for a great stay.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I usually don't write a review if I have something bad to say, but this was bad. We found bugs in our room, behind the bed was so filthy, there was old food and even a cigarette!! The room was run down. The walls had chipped paint, and the shower walls were damaged. The air quality was also very bad. It was very humid and smelt like the air filters needed to be replaced a year ago.. The shuttle service means they only have 1 shuttle van, so mornings are hectic trying to get everyone out of there. They did call a cab for us, but the shuttle service is very limited, contrary to what they advertise. The girls working the front desk were very sweet and went out of their way to help us. Wouldn't stay there again even if they offered us a free room.

The timing of our departure flight had a lot to do with the satisfaction level. If we had been able to leave later in the day, a better breakfast would have been available. While returning the key of the room that was damaged, I overheard two people negotiating the rate with the front desk person. They agreed on a rate which was $30 less than what we paid. Were they given the key to the damaged room? I'll never know. I was pleased to be able to get a "Park and Fly" option, but then, had to play a per day parking rate ($6.50) over and above the inflated room rate. Next time, I'll negotiate too.

Just wish the pool was heated and located in a more private location of the grounds. Everything else was great. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel offers gluten free or non dairy options up request. I wish all hotels did this.

The room quality was well above my expectations. There was an odd scent to the room and because they were remodeling rooms, there was furniture in the stairwells. The breakfast was served at very convenient hours for those travelling and the food was very impressive. It was not your typical continental breakfast. I have a lot of interaction with the staff and it was clear that they wanted to go above and beyond for their guests. Upon checkout, they genuinely asked about our stay, which is not something I see at many hotels. I would stay here again without hesitation.

We stayed for a quick night before flying out of Sanford/Orlando airport. Location is perfect for that - 5 minute drive (without traffic). The room was clean and beds were firm but comfortable. I like that they have cold breakfast items available starting at 430am for those of us with early flights. Full breakfast starts a little later. Overall pleasant stay - my only complaint is that there's not enough parking if they're full, and a couple of our outlets were not working in the room.

Pool was OK--a little noisy as it was next to a main road. The rooms were quiet. Coffe maker & fridge in the room too.

The hotel and it's breakfast were good with the exception of the terrible smell of urine in the room. The staff was nice,helpful and friendly and the hotel had an excellant breakfast,however even tho the room was clean there was a bad smell of urine in the room. It actually seem to be coming from the AC unit.

This hotel receives my praise because of their service. Their staff is excellent! We picked this hotel because it was close to the airport and we needed to pick up our daughter to join us for vacation. We had a flat tire on the way and were delayed. The hotel sent the free shuttle service to get her and was very personable. The room is clean and the breakfast accommodating. Thank you for your kindness and the good nights rest.

Assigned the first room, walked in and immediately walked back out. The smell just hit you in the face when you opened the door. Went downstairs asked for another room and was assigned to room 214. The smell was overwhelming again, but realized that they were all probably just as bad, so just decided to deal with it since I had used Price Line for the room and wouldn't be able to get my money back. The desk clerk tried to explain that it was just the Florida air that caused the smell. I live in Florida and know what causes mildew smells in rooms and that is damp conditions.

I chose this hotel because of the location and the early shuttle service to the airport. The location was convenient and the facility clean and comfortable. The only thing I wasn't comfortable with was the pool being right outside the front door of the hotel. I felt uncomfortable swimming with cars driving by and guest arriving and leaving.

We stayed here due to the proximity to the Sanford Airport. We had an early flight and live around 2.5 hours away, so wanted to stay locally, and this was the closest accommodations we could find. It looks a bit sketchy, but it was actually okay inside. We had a room on the first floor, which we weren't keen on due to traffic going by out our window, but the room itself was pretty clean and nicely decorated. The person checking us in was friendly enough and helped with making a choice for dinner. I like that they offer a very early breakfast to accommodate those who are flying early, and it was a decent enough continental offering. Parking could be problematic because the lot isn't big, and they allow people to do park and fly for a fee. We were lucky to get in early and get parking, but other people were parking in weird places. I would consider staying again if I had an early flight out of Sanford, but I actually prefer another area that has several business hotels about 20 minutes down the road.

Nice decor, excellent staff, breakfast (continental) served at 4:30 am to accommodate flights. Pool needs some fine touches. It was green looking and needed to be cleaned. The staff was around anytime you needed them even at 4:00am. It was a very nice and relaxing place to prepare for an early flight out of Sanford Airport.

when we called to make our reservation we asked about leaving our vehicle in the parking lot , when we arrived we were billed for parking our car and leaving it while we were on vacation , We used the shuttle bus service to get back and forth to the airport from the hotel , and everything else about our stay was great , just don't like surprises when checking in

We stayed at this location for the proximity to Sandford airport. ...it is just a terrible place to stay if I can review without any star I will do it. Do not believe the stars at trip advisor...we checked in around 6 pm yesterday, the staff at the front desk are not friendly, she offered us a room on the third floor or fourth floor can't remember now but it smells soooooooo bad ...mildew, smoking and more could not breath my kids held their breath until we left the room we asked for another room same problem, but we didn' have the time to check other hotels in the area...it was a mistake we should have left... It is not only the smell the sheets on the beds are very thin unclean and have a cut on it so we can see the mattress...we could not sleep, we put our beach towels on their pillow we were even so scared to sleep on their beds, the shower rod looked broken...I think no one cares about this facility and they know that people who comes in this so called hotel stay for the night... Very dated unclean, worst parking lot with a dirty pool in the front door...it is a shame for this chain hotel to have this so called hotel ....will never stay at any BW again....lost complete confidence ....it was better to choose a far hotel and have a good night sleep ....hopefully this will help other travellers and don ' t let them to trip in this place

Was close to airport,l,offered free hot breakfast and free shuttle to airport. For the price we expected a little more,but wasn't bad overall for what we needed. Bed was extremely comfortable and air conditioner worked very well.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the staff. The Park and Fly option is the best in the area. If you are headed out of SFB this is the place to stay. Breakfast starts at 0430 - you gotta be kidding me! loved it.

It was very nice of the receptionist to put my cooler of frozen seafood in their freezer while we slept. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Parking is a bit tight as I drive a Ford F-250, but there was plenty of room for my truck.If you have a truck and trailer, I suggest you stay elsewhere.

Chose this hotel based on location to the airport. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a shuttle to the airport and a decent cold breakfast from 5-6:30. Front desk staff not especially friendly and the lack of an information booklet in the room had me going to Yelp to find a restaurant. Very few outlets in the room for charging. There were wall mounted dispensers in the shower but they were all empty. The lights in the foyer men's room and the water in the women's room did not work yet the front desk already knew about it. The only reason to stay at this hotel would be the proximity to the airport.

Nice hotel close to airport. Love the early/free shuttle. Need a little extra cleanliness detail and it would be almost perfect. I requested a quiet room since we have a young child and they were great to accommodate.

It was a good hotel. Quick trip to the airport. 9 miles away....The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. Breakfast was open for the early traveler. (4:30 am) Wish there was more grab and go breakfast but good either way. Also the staff was friendly and helpful.

I like staying at this hotel when I have early morning flights. I use their hotel shuttle to the airport and saves me from having to pay airport parking. The staff are very nice and the breakfast buffet is great. Overall a great hotel and a great location close to the Sanford/Orlando airport.

Flight was late and made for a late hotel arrival. This Best Western made this experience a positive short night of sleep with a good front desk employee, the best mattress I have slept on at a hotel in a long time and a nice quick breakfast in the morning with more than enough offerings for this type of property. I will stay again.

Plane was late even though the shuttle stop at 10:00 PM; Best Western Made sure we arrived to their destination with no problem. At first I had gone thru one of the lower price finer dealers though I had a great deal. Needed to call BW to ask a question end up getting even a better deal. The service rep went out of his way. so yes I recommend this place.

Stayed here with family because it was close to the airport. Family had to be at airport by 6 am. The remote for TV didn't work so couldn't watch anything. The shower had no water pressure what so ever. Couldn't even get all the soap out of my hair. The beds where hard as a rock. When we first when in the room had to search to find the plugins to plug in the lamps. The free breakfast was awful the muffins was stale and the fruit rotten.

We stayed here the night before our flight out of Sanford. They have a great free shuttle that will take you to the airport. Everyone who works here is very nice and accommodating. The hotel is not in the nicest part of town but just drive a mile down the road and it seems much nicer. Breakfast was ok. Hotel seems older but they've tried to update it a bit.

Had a earlier flight in SFB and need to close to the airport. The hotel is 10 minutes driving from SFB. Room is clean and mattress is comfy. Staff is very friendly. The price is a little more than the average but worth it.

This hotel is quite pricey considering it's location and property in general. The rooms although nicely appointed are ruined by the stench of cigarette smoke and mildew and mold depending on which you smell first. This could be a nice hotel if it were not for these two issues. Don't be fooled by the non smoking statement as owners and management are clearly not committed to this policy. The smell was so bad we had to check out and move to another hotel.

The rooms were clean, newly updated. The reason I am upset is bc we paid for the hotel for one night, in order to make it to an early morning flight the following day. Prior to checking in I asked about breakfast, and shuttling to the airport. Those were the 2 most important factors during our stay. I was told shuttling was free, and breakfast was complimentary. We were told there would be a hot breakfast (eggs, toast, bacon, ect) I was suprised they were serving breakfast so early, and clarified that we needed to leave from the hotel at 5am sharp. I was told by angel breakfast would be served at 4:30. I was very excited to eat a warm breakfast before a long flight, only to be given cereal/fruit/yogurt options. I asked the front desk about the warm breakfast, and was told they didn't serve those things until 6:30 am. I asked if they would make an exception since I had already been told breakfast was at 4:30, & not only was the staff rude, but annoyed that I had asked. When I scheduled a shuttle for 5am at check in, I was asked how many people would need a shuttle. I watched the desk clerk physically write down our room number & what time we needed to leave. Mid breakfast I went up to verify this with the front desk, and was told we weren't on the list, and would have to wait until 6:30 to obtain a ride. A little frazzled, I unformed him we were 17 hours from home (& our children) & that that a shuttle at that time would mean we would miss our flight. The desk clerk was not apologetic or understanding. With an attitude, he called a cab. When the clerk called the cab, he was told we had a cab already scheduled. Okay, that's fantastic, but we were never informed. One of the members in our party is handicapped, & angel had scheduled the can in place of the larger bus schedule to accommodate him. That was nice, I just wish we were informed, or the desk clerks at the very least. Nobody knew what was going on, and it caused confusion, and irritation. I attempted to put my bags in the car, and the driver said he would do it. I thanked him, and informed him that we had some items in our suitcase we didn't want broken. The way he placed the bags, caused them to fall over as soon as the driver took off. I had to ask him to please turn the radio off, he was blaring 80's rock music.. this was a stressful, and I will never stay with this hotel chain again. Disappointing bc we nearly ALWAYS stay with this chain when we travel. Not to mention I was given a receipt for $112, yet my bank statement shows they charged me $121, plus a separate charge of $12. I showed the clerk my bank update on my phone and was told, "dory we didn't charge that," when clearly they did

Dirty rooms and hotel. Bed sleep fine other than sheets are thin. Very dirty floors and bathroom, hallways etc. Never ate the Breakfast but that area too needs help. Morning staff a little crabby but he was ready to go home.

Room was nice, clean, and updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. I needed to drop off a rental the night before my flight in the morning... and they provided free shuttle service both ways! Great addition and helped us handle our travel with less stress as well.

Stayed due to close proximity to Sanford Airport, about 10 minutes away. Easy to find, if coming off 417 need to make a U-turn to access. Location is mixed industrial/restaurant/services, on highway. Parking near front of hotel was limited, when we arrived, early afternoon. Overall the hotels appears to have adequate parking. Check in was easy, Desk Clerk was pleasant and informative. Room was dated, but clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable, with plenty of pillows. Hotel has a pool, in front, did not use, but looked clean and maintained. Front desk called within 15 minutes of checking in to see if room was OK and if we needed anything. Nice touch. The hotel had a 'water emergency' within a hour after we arrived, and the building's water had to be turned off. This was something they could not control, and they addressed quickly. We were leaving for dinner, and as we passed the Front Desk, she informed us of the water problem and it should be restored within an hour. Upon our return after dinner full water service had been restored. My thought is the water emergency was handled appropriately. The hotel offers long term airport parking, for a fee, and free shuttle service to the Airport. We did not use this service. The hotel is close to Rt 417 exits and entrances, with restaurants and shopping within a 5 mile radius. No issue with connecting through wifi or staying connected. The hotel offers a breakfast, at the hour we were up, only continental was available, as advertised. Coffee was hot, danish were fresh. Check out was easy, no issue with getting printed receipt. The only issues we experienced was the shower curtain was inadequate and allowed water on the floor during our showers, plus the AC was loud/humming, but not enough to disrupt our sleep. Overall, this hotel met our expectations, close to airport, clean, parking, and we would stay there again.

All worked as it should; free wifi, TV, phone, faucet, commode, shower and plenty of towels. This facility is just Sooooooo 90's I waited for the Disco music to be piped in. The A/C system is an annoyance though. It seemed to click ON every ten minuets and I would have to turn the TV volume up from level 8 to a level 12 just to hear the news or keep up with the program I was watching. This is a busy hotel and no time for major up-dating I'm sure. It does seem to have a "cleaning agent" fragrance the moment you walk into the lobby from the parking lot. Not a choice for my next visit to Sanford.

I choose this hotel because of the shuttle service to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. Shuttle service to the airport was great- driver was wonderful. Staff was friendly. We will be making another trip to the area in the fall and will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is dated and has serious cleanliness issues and I'm not that picky. Also, they don't tell you up front but end up charging your "incidentals" credit card for parking once you leave - and the parking lot is way too small for the hotel so people are parked in the aisles, its insane.

Dirty rooms, food left in fridge, stinky room and hall (horrible musty smell). The pool is so small u will laugh. Nice beds, comfortable. Good quick breakfast. Close to airport. Did not offer to clean room when informed of dirtiness.

Very comfortable beds, they start breakfast at 4:30 for those with early flights, they will let you park your car there (for a fee) and take you to the airport. Closer to the airport than other hotels that take you to the airport.

Bathroom wasn't well cleaned. Dust on furniture... I've never seen that in a hotel. Hallway and room smelled of old carpet that was shampooed in an effort to freshen it up. The bedding itself was comfortable enough. Airport shuttle was not operating bit the hotel arranged for a ride share to take me to SFB.

Nice Hotel, comfortable, clean and safe. I needed a place to stay overnight close to the airport, early flight. This was perfect. I was surprised at how nice the room was. The beds were very comfortable and clean. I would stay there again. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We left so early we only had continental breakfast but it was fine.

Make sure if going in a large crowd that the hotel shuttle is available to and fro from the SFB. The hotel was very tastefully decorated. The rooms and bathroom was clean. The front desk was very helpful.

The room was very good, quiet and clean. The free breakfast had a good selection of food and it was good. The business center had 4 computers and each one had a printer. There was a button to logoff and erase what you had put in. I like that security feature! We stayed here to go to the Sanford airport on business the next morning. It was easy to get to the airport. Only about a 10 minute drive. We used our GPS to get there because the clerk at the hotel gave us wrong directions. This hotel was okay for our purpose. If you are a family going to the Orland activities you may want to choose a different hotel.

We said one night in early May to attend my Wife's 89 year old Uncles funeral. We were taking His older 92 year old brother to attend the funereal. (my wife's DAD) I called ahead and Made arrangements for my wife's 92 year old Dad to stay in room with a shower stall and not a tub. I also requested a room next to him with an adjoining door so we did not have to go out into the hall to check on him. The hotel blocked out and held the rooms for us and the rooms perfectly meet our requirements. The staff was very helpful. I will also say the breakfast was good also

Accomadations were Very clean, staff friendly and very helpful getting us to and from the airport in their shuttle. . Early breakfast was average, we ate at 530. They serve hot breakfast after 630. We will stay definitely stay there again.

Thanks to the Best Western staff for their courtesy and helpful service. They took care of me, when I needed help the most. I had a very difficult day and they took care of me and not only got me to my room but checked on me later in the evening. The went above and beyond.

We chose the Best western plus because we have stayed in these before and they were incredibly nice... This one was sadly in need of renovation... It was decorated very pretty but the rooms and bathroom walls at the bottom looked gross and just wasn't what we were used to in a bw plus. One of the blankets on the bed had a huge hole in it. It was okay for one night since we had to leave on an early flight the next morning but I have stayed nicer places for a lot cheaper.

Can't beat this place for value. Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Internet & TV updated. Coffee in room worked fine. Breakfast was typical & basic -- but all food was kept hot and refilled quickly. Tables cleaned up fast. Well done! You get a lot for the money at this place.

Bedroom and bed was comfortable and clean. Well insulated so noise was not an issue even though we were close to the elevator. The halls and carpeting were dated and not real clean. Dirty carpets were a turn off although room itself was clean. The breakfast was nothing special but did offer hot and cold options.

I was ditched in Florida by my now EX and was completely lost as to how to get back home. I was so lucky to find this hotel! I arrived at 10 in the morning and due to my situation they let me check in! Awesome customer service, clean, good breakfast and amazing pool. It is also close to Walmart and has a great diner next door, I was on foot! The best part was that it had a shuttle that go me back to the airport. All around this hotel and the people, turned this experience from lemons to lemonade! Thank you to the staff!

We stayed at The Best Western when coming into Florida and leaving because we were flying out of Florida early in the morning. It was a nice hotel and clean and I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. My only complaint is when I was leaving the night I never had it booked til a week before hand and ended up paying about $40 more then the night I stayed when I flew in.

So we stayed here since we had a late flight coming into Florida. I booked the room about 3 nights in advance. I traveled with my wife and our 2 kids. Since we have a 5 year old and a 8 month old, I wanted a bigger room where we would have room for our bags and a sink to wash our baby bottles. The reviews only were high but it was mostly a disappointment. The room was extremely overpriced compared to the amenities and the look and feel of the rooms. I booked the king suite to ensure we would have ample space. When I arrived was downgraded to a regular King size room. This was after 15 mins of trying to figure out what happened. 1 manager and 1 receptionist going back and forth over who made the mistake. It seemed like receptionist was looking for every reason to blame someone else. The managers excuse was that she had been running shuttle all day, seems to me like the hotel is paying her to be a driver instead of a hotel manager. I checked the room and was not impressed. So I went downstairs and discussed with my wife whether or not we should find a different hotel. At this point we had been waiting about 35 mins to get our room. I went back in and discussed canceling when the manager informed me that she had bumped another guest who had yet to check in to the regular King room and put us in the king suite. So in essence just kicking the bucket to the next customer. The room was ok, nothing special but the drip from the kitchen sink was annoying. That's all you could hear all night long. The shower which was handicap accesible was big, but had a giant flaw. They put a curved shower rod which causes all the water to drip onto the bathroom floor. Creating your very own, personal sized Best Western lake.

We stayed over night during the Easter break. Free shuttle ride to and from the airport, friendly staff and so clean. That's really important to me, the cleanliness. As soon as I walked in The lobby I knew it was clean. The only complaint I had was that the pool was FREEZING! Other than that we had a nice stay while waiting for our flight.

We stay here several times a year due to work reasons. Never a problem,there are a few places to eat near the area or not to far of a car drive, great breakfast in the morning and Angel at the front desk is so nice. All the staff is friendly. Always clean.

Stayed overnight before flight out of Orlando/Sanford airport. Front desk staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. Our room was very clean, 2 queen beds, desk and plenty of outlets for charging electronics. Coffee pot in room was clean and worked. Breakfast available next morning left a lot to be desired!

I have stayed in Best Westerns on previous occasions and have been satisfied. That is why this one was such a disappointment. Finding a room that was not as clean as normal, finding a waste basket that was not empty and having the television not working only to find out that the cable box had been unplugged does not speak well for attention to detail. The continental breakfast was somewhat disappointing as well.

Stayed here the night before my flight out of Sanford. Good hotel for a one night stay. Airport shuttle is a big plus. I thought the price was a little high. Overall very nice stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here one night prior to early morning flight. Hotel decorated very nicely and looked to be freshly redone. However, when you looked closely, things weren't quite as nice as they appeared. Tub/shower was old, there was a rip in the sheet, the door to the room didn't close very well and the air conditioning was extremely loud. It was fine for a quick overnight but not as nice as expected.

Our one night stay was satisfying. All we wanted was a clean, quiet place to rest our heads before flying out the next day. The breakfast bar was okay. My oatmeal was good but my wife's biscuits and gravy were cold so she ended up making a waffle. The room was clean for the most part but I did see some dirt/debris on the bathroom floor. Our bed was comfortable and the room air conditioner worked well. I will stay here again given the need. Close to the airport.

Our room had a musty smell, like the carpet needed replacing. The shower surround caulk was poorly applied and darkened in some areas, such that I did not take a shower in it, as it looked and felt so grungy. Don't stay here.

Bathroom dirty and carpets not vacuumed. What appeared to be toe nails on carpets. Shower head very lose from wall and over all just not kept up. Had bit of a time getting on the WiFi. Other then that we had a place to lay our heads for 6 hours before we fly out.

Rooms were clean, Staff was friendly. Pool was small, but clean. It was not the type of location I would take a walk around the area. However, it was close to where we need to go.. We were pleased. We would return again.

Main purpose of staying here was to fly out of Sanford Airport. The bed and pillows were very comfortable - slept well for being away from home. Hotel was overall clean and looks like it might have been renovated recently? I would stay here again.

Clean, nice front desk people, staff. Very professional, helpful. Also, right on time to take us to the airport in the morning to go home and catch flight. They also picked us up the night we checked in. They came to the airport and shuttled us to the hotel, so we could drop off our rental car early!!! Thank you!!! The lady at the continental breakfast (running it), even fixed my grits for me!!! I never had had them before. She was soooo nice. Very relaxing for the last night before going home.

Friendly staff ready to help and clean and comfortable rooms.They offered to take me to and pick me up from a local restaurant for dinner. In the morning they were right on time dropping me off at the airport for my flight home. Thanks again for a very comfortable stay. M. G.

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport with a shuttle to airport starting at 5 AM The only thing was a little funky musty smell in the room.They also have some breakfast items ready before the first shuttle at 5 AM
