"very disappointing"
Although this hotel presents very well in the sales blurb, the reality is not the same. the staff did not take our comments seriously. Did not agree to change our room, even though the Hotel was nearly empty. The impression we got was that we were an inconvenience to them. They tried to charge us breakfast, although we had already paid for it, and when we checked out they had put a parking charge of 50e on the bill, even though we did not have a car. There are also some major health and Safety issues here that should be addressed urgently.
"One night stay at Sanary, late booking"
4 star hotel, only deserving 3 stars. Far to expensive for services provided. We payed 130 Euros without breakfast. On top we had to pay 10 Euros for an open parking space. Hotel in need of renovation, plants, carpet, etc. Simple outdated rooms. Very bad insulation between rooms. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good location, walking distance to sea and town center.
"Hreat Place"
Great Place to stay! the staff are nice, the breakfast has good variety and is tasty. location of the hotel is really good where it's walking distance to the harbor and city center. the rooms are quite small but enough to spend the night!
"Terrible is the right word"
We just stayed at this hotel from August 29 to September 04, 2019 We selected the junior suite at 352 euro per night. We have been traveling for many years, but that was the worst hotel ever and it's not about the poor bedding/pillows quality or very bad smelling soups or not cleaned rooms, that does happen occasionally. Here it was a total disregard for the hotel guests. First of all, the first night we spent with the door to the balcony that couldn't be locked, facing the very busy street, so we didn't get much sleep that night. Next morning i asked to fix the door if possible or to be moved to another room. They did move us. But it was just the beginning, the door key is the electronic card, that day we had to ask the card to be re-program at least four times. i guess you can deal with it, but the next day as we returned from the beach the door wouldn't open AT ALL. they changed the cards four times, they try to use the master key, the door wouldn't open. Now imagine, standing in the cool air conditioned hallway in the damp swimsuits after a long walk from the beach with the kid who needs to use the washroom and wants to drink water. After almost an hour, the reception person managed to open the door with the housekeeping key, but it wouldn't work afterwards, so we couldn't leave the room (there is no room service), I asked for the issue to be fixed within than hour, because we had plans to go to another little town for dinner, the issue was not fixed that day or the day after, so eventually we were offered another room (third room) That room key didn't work properly again... when i tried to locate the manager to try to resolve the issue, i was told she is too busy and doesn't speak english well... when i finally found her at reception i was told by her that " the issue is not significant" ... on the day of the checkout i realized that my gold chain, which i didn't take to the beach is missing, i went to the office and when i complained about disappearance of my jewellery asking if we should contact the police , the person at reception miraculously found it in their office. They did give us one night credit, but it couldn't help with overall experience.
"An enjoyable visit"
Best Western Soleil et Jardin is family- owned and family-run. We enjoy staying here very much. Our suite was very comfortable and completely suited our needs. We ate at the ample breakfast buffet in the morning and were well-taken care of by Thierry. He also is the night portier and barman at BW Soleil et Jardin. HONTE A EUX! It is regrettable that the new swimming pool (finished in 2019), and constructed in cooperation with the neighboring property, is not equipped for the physically challenged! In this period of time, it is simply incomprehensible! May the construction team and architects always be able to climb a ladder and never have to use a walker or a wheelchair! How can you build steps in a pool without a handrail? SHAME ON YOU!
"Conveniently-located, above-average hotel"
We spent five nights at the BW Plus Hotel Soleil Et Jardin while in Sanary-sur-Mer, a peaceful seaside resort on the Mediterranean Sea, in September. Our room was air-conditioned, quiet and very clean. We skipped the opulent breakfast buffet, as we preferred sampling the vast selection of local fish and vegetables at lunchtime. A beverage and freshly-baked croissants at a local bakery proved to be a sufficient start to the day. The staff members spoke excellent English and were most accommodating. While out for the afternoon, our traveling companion's car unexpectedly broke down. The hotel's owner came to our rescue, personally picked us up in a nearby town and returned us to our hotel. This certainly exceeded his duties as an owner and we were most grateful! The elevators afforded uncomplicated access to our room. The floors proved to be a bit uneven in some spots, and we needed to keep a close eye on them, as my husband is physically challenged. We enjoyed the warmth of the South of France, and the warmth we experienced at this hotel. The outdoor pool was unfortunately closed due to renovation but we appreciated the secured car park. We will stay here again when in the area!
"Güzel lokasyon/good location - rahat bir otel/comfortable "
Friendly staff, good location, easy walk to harbour, large rooms and softy beds, nice breakfast buffet... Sanary is the place I'like the spend a quality holiday. It's not the high season therefore not too much traffic and/or noise... shall be back again...
"Good hotel"
We had a good stay at this hotel and a wonderful spacious room with qualitative interiour. The outdoor pool was off duty due to the season. No towels were available at the indoor pool. Unfortunately I could not speak French and therefore the language barrier kept the interaction at the minimum.
"poor cheap hotel"
I don't know how they managed to get the Best Western name on this old family running business and moreover get 4 stars on it. Everything there needs renovation: the stinky rooms and old furniture, the pool from the 90's and the abandoned building next to it... For a 4 star price we have paid we've got the same green charcuterie for breakfast for 10 days, a double room with an un isolated stnky pipe in what used to be a kitchen now transformed in living room, a scratch on the car from one flag support which of course didn't felt on it although I saw it myself. Next time I think twice before choosing Best Western. I you want to save your hard earned money, don't go there!
"Good Hotel and great location "
We had a room upgrade and this made our stay more comfortable, great room and hotel facilities suited us the outdoor pool was s real benefit and allowed some tan top up time! Buffet breakfast was good and all apart from one day room service was good. The only criticism would be the lack of attention to topping up tea making items in the room, which was only a minor point. All the staff were professional and friendly. We had a really good stay and location of hotel to harbour centre was a short slow stroll.
"A Jewel by the Sea"
We stayed one night and appreciated the friendly staff, the delightful view, and the short walk to the waterfront. The hotel operates more like a U.S. Style bed and breakfast; the owners are on-site and available to answer questions and to give help.
"Loved this relaxing hotel"
We stayed a week with a group on a Travel Editions holiday. We liked the slightly run-down atmosphere, it was a very laid-back sort of hotel. It seemed to be run almost single-handed by a formidable lady who we found to be very helpful and friendly, despite the language barrier. There were a few other staff around and they were always friendly too. Nice touches like a fridge with large bottles of mineral water next to the bar - any time you wanted one you helped yourself and wrote your room number in a book. We had a large room with a small but perfectly well-appointed bathroom. As we were staying a week we appreciated the fact that there was plenty of storage space for clothes etc. The bed was absolutely enormous and very comfortable. Particularly welcome, since it was 30+, was the efficient and easily controlled air-conditioning. We had a good WiFi connection in our room although I know some of the group were less fortunate. The outside areas are a bit scruffy but the pool area is clean and the pool lovely, albeit quite small and shallow. Perfect for a cooling swim, not for keen swimmers. Always adequate sun beds and umbrellas. The breakfast buffet was very good. Often a q for the two coffee machines which made acceptable coffee but were very slow. Gluten free bread provided - a nice touch. I'd definitely stay here again.

Thank you very much for writting this very nice message. Our priority as a small "familly" hotel is to warmly welcome our guests throughout the year in a friendly atmosphere. We also renovated the hotel this year for more comfort. We hope to welcome again very soon, Very Best Regards,
"Just about OK"
Visited recently as part of a group. Should have been concerned when given Room 101. Room is large and the bed comfortable and spacious. Bathroom left a lot to be desired. On two occasions in the first three days a plumber had to be called when the toilet refused to flush. On the fourth day the toilet seat came apart and despite this being reported to reception when we left the seat was still lying on the bathroom floor. As a result of this experience we didn't even bother reporting that the shower head was loose and had fallen off when showering. The breakfast was excellent but this hotel seems to be run by an insufficient number of staff who fail to interact with the guests. We don't feel this is down totally to a language barrier. Although not crucial to our stay the Wi Fi connection was poor.
"Ok hotel, but needs a bit of a refresh"
We very much enjoyed the hospitality and service. However the hotel itself needs a bit of a refresh. Our junior suite was spacious, but not very warm, the decoration of the room had absolutely no charm. A bit of the same can be said for the breakfast area, and the swimmingpool area honestly is not attractive at all, go for the beach...
"Great old venue with all the extras"
Booked the upgraded sea-view room with a small balcony. Parking on site right outside the reception. Fourth floor room (yes there is an elevator) was spacious, quiet, modern and clean. Bathroom was large and equipped with toiletries and big plushy towels albeit the water pressure was very low. There is a safe, fridge and hairdryer also. Henrietta was a marvelous and very helpful hostess. Breakfast was included and accommodated all tastes and was served in a bright room with real Orchids on every table - guess this goes with the Birds of Paradise growing wild on the grounds. Enjoy this slice of Cote d'Azur paradise located just a few minutes walk from the old town. Recommended.
"///it's ok, but not the "best" western"
Place was dusty, rooms are small, bathroom is small and shower is tiny. The breakfast was not great, very poor selection. Hardly anyone at reception (except the cat) the room was clean. Not sure if I would go back to the hotel if I had a choice. However it is in a good location with lots of good restaurants around.
"Residence of comfort and joy"
On arrival the staff gave a very warm welcome of which any request was actioned with pleasure, The guest room was clean ,airy and serviced to a high standard, the breakfast was of good quality with excellent selection choice.

Dear Colin, Thank you for your nice message, we hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again very soon in Sanary sur Mer. Very Best Regards,
"Great location"
Hotel itself is a bit basic. Has pool which I didn't get to use. Rooms clean with AC. Didn't eat in hotel other than breakfast which is typical continental type layout (pastry bread cereal etc) but it is a short walk from Sanary where there are loads of places to eat. Plenty of secure parking while I was there around the hotel -key coded gate. Staff friendly and helpful.
"BW Soliel et Jardin, Sanary Sur Mer"
The hotel is within easy walking distance of the harbour and many restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. It is also close to the beach at Six Fours. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. This was the second time I stayed here and I look forward to the next time.
"Great Location and Service - Merci beaucoup"
Lovely hotel, staff very efficient, helpful and friendly. Stayed for nine days on business trip and very secure for parking. Room was nicely furnished, clean and great service for breakfast. Plenty of options and a great cup of double expresso! Perfect location to walk to town, close to Port and market, I would recommend this hotel - Merci beaucoup!
"Sanary-sur-mer"
A nice place to stay. Nice rooms. It is clean and very well decorated too. The parking is secure. They have two swimming pools: inside and outside. The breakfast is very good and the selection is large enough. It is well located both near the center and the sea. A Provencal-style hotel. Very enjoyable. The Wi-Fi has to be fixed... the system is brand new. it is a matter of time.
"Safe and secure"
Sanary is a delightful little port and feels totally safe, so the five minute walk from the hotel to the town for an evening meal is not a problem. The hotel also has a security gate. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly and there was plenty of storage space. The linen was of good quality and changed during our stay. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room came as a welcome surprise but little uht milk portions would save having to ask for milk at the bar. A room with a balcony is a bonus.
"Great stop !"
Stayed three nights. Great location, beautiful facilities. The staff was very efficient and helpful. We were on an extended tour of France and wanted a nice waterfront town. Beautiful walk on the quay and great markets on the two mornings we stayed. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
