Best Western Hotel Turismo

I recently left a suite of 4 rooms, with consierge parking, 24 hour room service and every attention to detail taken care of, and have stayed 2 nights in this, perfectly adequate hotel that is basic, clean, but has no restaurant evening food. The two don't compare and yet in Italy they are both 4 star. How can a hotel with no dinner service and, even although I opted for an executive room, basic plain rooms be clasified as equal. I would say that the breakfast here is a bargain at €8 and compares with any of the hotels on this trip, some charging a whoping €30. It is a basic 1 night 2 night max stay hotel you use to bed down. One wouldn't stay for a week. It is far from the historic centre €30 in a taxi, so be aware of that and the area around it is...well! a bit dodgie. The enterence to the hotel is a petrol station and there is deralict land around it. I was wary of leaving my car parked at the front of the hotel on view. Other than that, it did the job. One last message to the hotwl, which I am going to start leaving to every hotel, why do you insist in starting to clean and bang around at 07:00? Its not ok. Most of your guests if on holiday of even on work dont want to be woken by staff hoovering or banging around at 07:00.

The staff at this hotel are very professional and welcoming. We had a decent size double room with an en-suite bathroom. The bed and room were fine but the bathroom was a bit cramped. You need a car to go to the centre of Verona if you arrive late in the evening, like we did as there isn't any public transport coming back at night.

Booked to stay here for the weekend however it happened to also be a public holiday weekend (Feast of the Immaculate Conception). Limited public transport back to the hotel which worked out approx 25 Euros from Piazza Bra to the hotel after 8pm on both Friday and Saturday night. Hotel reception sell bus tickets and the stop to get into the city centre is right opposite the hotel. Hotel itself seems pleasant / slightly dated. Had some problems with the room which my travel agent was prompt to refund me on however the attitude of the night staff Hawa and Yasmin left a sour taste. They lacked empathy and generally lacked any customer service skills. The room itself was clean, modern and looked relatively new. Being positioned right outside the lift meant it was noisy and you could hear running water from flushes next door, etc which wasn't great. On a positive the room temperature was nice as was the shower.

Charged to move rooms because of smell of smoke. The staff were very friendly, but when we left they charged us for a room change, even though it was because the original room smelled of smoke. When we disputed this matter, they were still very firm that we needed to pay this room charge.

good location easy to get to from Verona airport, the room very basic arrival late and you have no diner option so after 21.00 i would advice to stop and eat car park had space wifi was strong, the bed was confortable room was basic price i would stay a little strong staff was smiling and helpful

We had a wonderful room and the staff were most helpful in every regard. We enjoyed the breakfast and lunch. The location is just outside Verona and convenient to other attractions in the nearby mountains and towns.

We arrived well before check in time and tue friendly staff checked if our room was already available. As thos was the case we were able to drop our stuff amd visit the beautiful town of Verona. The hotel staff recommended a parking lot close to the city centre, which was am excellent choice. The room was fine with a mini bar for our drinks and a nice and clean bathroom. The breakfast the next morning was also very well organized with plenty of choice. This is a hotel I really recommend. Fyi, a fuel station is right in front of the entrance.

After been already install in a room, the hotel decided to change my room and claim the first room they gave me it was not my room. Even though when the door did not open the hotel front desk check the room number and send a lady to open the door for me. They came inside the first room while I was out of the hotel and pick up my luggage to take to the room that the hotel says it was my correct room. I left my camera next to my luggage. The hotel claims there was no camera inside the room, and now they do not want to be responsible for taking my camera and going inside the room with out my permission or me being there to see when they where changing me from the original room. The tour group came in late afternoon and we left early next morning, after we all had breakfast.

This is a standard 3 star hotel providing all you need at a reasonable price. A very efficient air conditioning system which we highly appreciated with +40 outside. But it is really far from Verona if you come for sightseeing without a car. If this is the case it Is worth paying more in the downtown Verona than staying here. Taxi price is almost 40 euro from the airport and 25 euro from the hotel to Verona Porta Nova. There is a big supermarket across the road and a few restaurants at the walking distance.

Hotel is very clean, nice and friendly staff. Also room is pretty comfortable. It's a bit away from center, about 25 minutes drive with car. There are good bus connections accept at late hours. Would totally recommended hotel if that doesn't bother you. Also would recommend breakfast it's good and nice.

It was ok for only one night. The location is ok 15-20 minutes by car to the expo. Near to the motorway, easy reach to hotel. Recomend for business traveler. The breakfast is reach. Just one thing was bad, the bathroom is to small, i never see before this layout of the toilett and bidet, it was unconfortable.

I have been traveling often to Verona for wine business and Verona Fair. First time in this hotel. Good experience I just want to say that the staff here is very kind friendly and helpfully, 5 stars for them.

We stranded at the Best Western Turismo due canceled flights, so obviously not the best starting point, but the hotel is ok. It is a typical business hotel in the outskirts of Verona, relatively close to the airport. Rooms are clean and breakfast is good.

The hotel is dated, it needs a full renovation. my room had a noisy a/c system and the fridge even noisier. the bed is ok but i hated the moquette stained of dirt in the room and in the elevator. the bathroom was really small. The employees are very nice and welcoming, and the breakfast is good. the position is great because it's just 20 minutes from verona and soave, a niche middle age burg nearby, totally worth the visit. I wouldn't stay for more the 2 nights.

The hotel is well maintained with very friendly staff. Located 11km from Verona centre. The bar area is always manned and a good selection of beers although none on tap. Breakfast is of continental type with scrambled egg being the only cooked item. The restraint didn't seem to open in the evening but 200 mtrs from the hotel is a cafe/bar called the loft which offers excellent food and service.

We stayed here one night, and we choose it cause was close to the highway. The family room was not too big, but cosy and the bathroom was ok. There is a free parking and the breakfast for 3€/person was good. In front of the hotel was a gasoline station with the lowest prices we found in Italy. The city center it's not very far by car and there are a number of parkings just outside the center. There was some noise in the morning due to some workers nearby, but globally a good experience for the price (122€/night).

Friendly and helpful staff, nice and spacious rooms for the price, good triple accommodation, decent buffet breakfast, easy parking and not too far from Verona - and above all, air conditioning that works!!

I visited the hotel on a family trip. I was pleasantly impressed by the cleanliness of staff courtesy of being able to park the car very close to the hotel. Breakfast was very diverse and rich. Verona is very close to Verona being very easy. The price is very good compared to the services offered.

We only stayed one night at this hotel but we really appreciated how quiet the room was. The family room was a little small but we were still very comfortable. There was an issue with the rooms lighting but they were kind enough to send someone up to fix our problem pretty quickly. All in all, a great place for a stop over. P.S, if you booked a room without including the breakfast, reconsider, it is well worth the 3 extra euros.

Spent 2 nights in this hotel as part of a coach party tour. The rooms were big and the bathroom excellent. Very clean and beds comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room. Food good and staff excellent, went out of their way to accommodate requests. Good breakfast. Outlook on to a petrol station and main road but this did not cause any issues. Would recommend

Stayed here as a walk in for one night. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Tv was a great size and perfect for me to watch my UEFA cup match on. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Only disappointment was being woken up by factory workers at 7am. And the other side there is a freeway, so it's not the quietest hotel in the world. Breakfast was good, but the cooked breakfast looked awful so I avoided that. Easy free parking. Ps try to book a table at Sapore - most amazing pizza place 5 min drive. My fave restaurant on my 2 week trip of Italy. But you must book as they get busy.

This hotel is about 6 miles out of town, but is very comfortable and quiet. The staff are friendly and all those we met spoke good English. It probably suits visitors with a car better, but there are a number of buses that go into the town centre for €2 each way. The downside is that the last bus leaves the town at 8pm, meaning that food choices are limited to those nearest the hotel. The hotel does a reasonable breakfast, but does not have its own restaurant.

Located a bit to far from the city centre (our fault for not reading the hotel location carefully) the hotel offers everything you expect from a good hotel, but, the biggest asset is their staff, very helpful always with a smile from the front desk to the girls helping during breakfast. Room was spacious and clean Good parking area Highly recommend

We stayed at this hotel for one night for a short visit to explore Verona. In a secluded area convenient to the Autostrada, this hotel is a short 20 mins away from historic city. Room was comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet, for 3 euros, was great. Staff very courteous and nice and free parking available on site. If you want to visit Verona but don't want to deal with the noise or ZTL, this is a great option at a very reasonable price.

On our way back home we found this last minute deal hotel. Excellent choice it is. Breakfast is good. Shower is good. Rooms are clean and neat. However, wifi sucks...but apart from that the hotel is pretty good.

amazing place! Very nice and quiet , very nice staff that helps and cares! The place very clean and there is rich breakfest. Its good to people with cares and with out. There is a bus staion near there hotel.

This hotel is about 20 minutes or so from Ancient City but convenient to the autostrada. There is no view and construction across the street so if you are looking for a scenic hotel experience this is likely not the one. There are a decent number of restaurants within driving distance but really not much to do in the vicinity. No restaurant except for at breakfast, although, we could get a cocktail anytime. Clean and well cared for, the showers were literally so small and tight that you had to enter sideways and I kept turning off the water with my elbow. For the price, it is just okay. I was here on business so it didnt really matter but I wouldn't choose this if I was on a vacation.

We stayed at this hotel for one night with a touring group. The room was a bit better than others we had stayed in. There were nice toiletries in he bathroom and a shower that worked properly. Free wifi in the room. Despite the fact that we were a group checking in, check-in was very quick. We had to go in for dinner straight away as it was late. We had a fixed menu dinner, which was just about OK, but cold vegetables with the main course, although the other two courses were OK, mushroom crepe and lemon tart. We finished with a couple of drinks in the bar which were rather large, and just poured rather than measured! Breakfast was nothing special but the staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel near the highway exit , comfortable room but very small shower, nice staff some of them do not speak English, reasonable Breakfast great value for money. free wifi need to be upgrade workd only part of the time.

So, I read the reviews (the ones in English) and decided to stay. Firstly the bad points It is about 20 mins away from the centre, and the bus runs about every 30mins, (the bus stop is just outside about 1 minute walk) there's a longer wait around lunch. It's around €28 for a taxi from the main train station where the aerobus drops you off. unfortunately the hotel can't just move, but I liked the fact that on the bus you get to see a bit more of the real Verona.( if you look on the maps you can see where it is in relation to everything) The bathroom was very compact and small, but for the amount of time you spend in there, it's not a problem, ive had smaller bathrooms in a premier inn in England, if you are on the heavy/big side then you'd have trouble. The good points. The staff are all amazingly friendly, and even managed to understand my broken italian, if you don't make the effort to speak italian then the usual pointing works fine(why you would go to a foreign country and not try to speak the language?) The staffs english is fairly proficient Aswell. The room was clean and tidy, there was a small amount of dust but that's just from the air conditioning blowing when you are out of the room. Yes the air conditioning is noisy, but I didn't have it on at night and it was fine. The mini bar has a small selection, yes it's not badly priced, but it's no very cold, go to the bar and you save €0.50 on a can of coke, and it's a lot colder. breakfast was brilliant, the latest I went for breakfast was 9am and they had only ran out of one of the juices. But you expect that when you go to breakfast late. The selection is imense, and they will also bag you up a lunch for €6.50 if you ask for it when you go. Fruit, cereals, breads, meats, juices, teas, coffee, all on offer. There isn't a restaurant, and the last bus leaves about 8pm from The central station, but if you go out early in the morning then you'll want to be back for that sort of time anyway. So that wasn't a problem for me. there is a well stocked bar, and it's a fair price €3.50 for a small glass of wine, and it was a good wine. Plus you can sit out the front, or at the back and catch the last of the sunshine. overall, ive probably gone into a lot of detail, but I think the review is fair. Ive had a lovely stay here, I don't have any issues with anything that the hotel could have fixed/sorted in the stay. Would I come here again... yes.

We stayed at the Turismo hotel from July 15th till the 21st. The room was clean and big. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent . It made our stay in Italy more pleasent since we had something like 40 degrees during our stay. The hotel is located in a very strategic place - very close to the highway and only 20 minutes drive to Verona.

Stayed at this hotel with friends and family. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The breakfasts are adequate, plenty of fresh fruit. We did have to keep asking for the dishes to be refilled though as it didn't seem a priority. We had a couple of drinks in the bar one evening and these were reasonably priced. Couple of gripes and that was noise from road and lack of meal for evening, meaning you had to make sure to get something to eat before you returned to the hotel.

The hotel is clean and spacious. Breakfasts were cold buffet and they ran out of anything you just had to ask. Staff helpful and friendly. Drinks at the bar were also good value. A little way out of Verona but the bus service was reliable and a fair price.
