Best Western Plus Soave Hotel

Great sevice, spacious and clean rooms and excellent breakfast. It was my second time staying there and the excellence wasn't just a coincidence. You'll feel at home and the staff is on your service in case you might need them. It's situated in a small city, nearby you can find couple of great restaurants and it's quite near the main turistic destinations in the area like Verona and Venice. I reccomend it especially if you're travelling by car.

Our stay was prompted by my wife having to go into hospital locally after falling ill while travelling from Venice to Switzerland. We needed somewhere for the rest of the family to stay, and the quad room at this hotel was perfect. Lovely comfortable beds, great breakfast and extremely helpful staff. We also recognised that this was a great base for exploring the local region, with easy access by rail and road to Padua, Vicenza, Verona and Venice, and also to nearby Soave for those with a car. The hotel and its staff really exceeded expectations in supporting us, organising transport to a local restaurant and helping with directions. While perhaps a better bet for those travelling by car, it is nonetheless also readily accessible from the nearby San Bonifacio train station via an underpass.

The hotel is very good! Clean and cozy. I would recommend improving the breakfast, apart from that everything was really perfect. It is close to a supermarket and with a car you can get anywhere. Thanks

Un hotel dove niente manca! Nice and clean hotel, with excellent room, pool and breakfast! The kids loved the bunk beds and the lights in the shower. Didn't spend much time in the area, as we were mainly passing through. Will highly recommend this hotel.

The staff working in the hotel is very cultured, hospitable, I have only words of praise to say. the service and marketing without any remark. the only small complaint I have is the time when the cleaning ladies come to the room. And twice the bed linen was not changed, but only the bed was made and clean towels were placed.

Dears this is a message about customer focus. Are you sure you care in the proper way? A customer should feel like at home in a BW HOTEL. I use to stay 50 days a year in the list 3y in BW Soave (in San Bonifacio - Verona) and I got the request by the director to STOP booking because of cleaning ladies complaints. I want to share with you The reasons: 1)"We have to overclean the Gym because he is sweating too much". I'm an ultramarathon and I of course use the running machine more than average people None told me that I should't, I have even asked some time to get some specific tool to clean myself, but never got. 2) “We have to dry water on the bathroom floor” Because I use to wash my running clothes and leave in the bathroom. Of course some water can fall down If would knew I could try to be more carefull 3) In summer period I use to leave some cleaned clothes outside on the emergency stairs in order to dry under the sun (and avoid water inside the room…) 4) i use to take away my breakfast to save time (and avoid to ask any service by your team)... Also in this case I got a complain. Please note that none advised me just in time about these complaints I suddenly got the not acceptance of new bookings... Great accommodation, clean, food is super, gym is huge, pool very nice. Do not go in hot days as the area is very humid and A/C is kept at 80°F Personnel very nice and professional, but do not forget anything in the room as you won't get it back.

We reserved a Junior Suite and we went out of of way (literally our way to Verona ) to have a good room. 11:00 PM!! The front desk man said he could not give the room we reserved since a group from Il giro di Italia were going to arrive next evening!!?? What!!?? Aren't hotels supposed to be able to receive new people the next day? He just insisted family room was the only option we discussed a lot but the attitude was just not right..

I stayed here 4 nights in first part of September with a small group of 15 people. Myself and all my group enjoyed a lot the hotel: - rooms are modern, huge and well equipped (the only minus is that they do not have balcony) - reception, lobby bar and restaurant are very nice, clean and modern. - breakfast is fabulous, is the best that I have in Italy and in top 10 in all the hotels that I visited (and I stayed in more than 150 till today) - relaxation area is also very nice, swimming pool is big and clean - parking is huge and free of charge - location is also ok (3 minutes from the railway station, 45 minutes by train to Padova, 75 minutes to Venice). Is at the edge of San Bonifacio but in 10 minutes walking you are in the center of the town. - hotel staff is polite and helpful I really recommend this hotel!!!

The hotel is well located if you need public transport. From outside the building is not appealing but inside everything is pretty modern. The room was spacious. Staff at the reception is not very engaging nor friendly. The worse was breakfast. It really stressed me out as we arrived after a tour bus group came.. there was literally nothing yo eat. I really felt for the poor ladies who were meant to serve, clean, replenish.. it was shambolic. The ladies were running around like headless chickens. I ended by eating just a tiny piece of bread and a coffee in a glass with no cutlery.. for that reason i would not recommend this hotel if you see a bus parked in front of the hotel as the organisation is really poor and the receptionists made us feel uncomfortable

Very clean and spacious room. Staff is amazing, they are friendly and very efficient. Breakfast also at covid's time always over the top. My preferred business hotel. Maybe a little be noisy being in between railway and road but with closed windows acceptable.

I Had only one night stay here, but I was surprised by the quality of this hotel. Very modern, very clean and excellent value for money. Definitely a good stop over, breakfast was super abundant and excellent choice of food. I can reccomend this place.

Hotel is clean , well located, managed pretty well , Breakfast is fine, lot of choice, you can also have dinner in their restaurant, served by one great Giuseppe waiter of high class, Same in reception you ll find some gentle smiling Jo, or Jessica , also Patrizia nice , helping staff . About others maybe they need to learn from those 3 how you have to work!

The updated rooms are very nice- you would think that they would be noisy, but it wasn't. Nicely decorated and clean. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing. Location was right off of a main road but traffic was not bad.

This is a great hotel, especially when you are in the area of Verona. Also Venice or Gardaland are easy to reach from here. But that is not all. You'll get a spacious room, super friendly service and a breakfast that is simply awesome. Highly recommended.

Just finished our stay at this hotel, this has been our 3rd visit in as many years. Staff and Management are fantastic, basically cant do enough for you. Close to railway station ( 5 mins) main line is straight to milan via verona, garda, other way to Venice.Some fine restaurants to eat at. Restaurant in the hotel is great. Pool area clean, Breakfast is more than ample, and the the staff dont hassle you to finish unlike some others we have been to. Cant praise this hotel enough. We cant understand some of the negative reviews?

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. As we came for a family celebration and would not spend much time in the hotel we first booker a standard room, which was ok but, a bit small but all you need for a short stay. We did change to a room in the new part, for just a bit extra we were surprised by the size sand the aminities. Both rooms were quiet and very clean. The breakfast was really one of the best ever. Even wine! We only tried the resturant once but the waiter made his best to please everybody. Perfect food and service. We also had a welcome drink and snack on arrival. The garden with pool and an area for pets are beautiful. This hotel is situated perfectly if you arrived by car , you need a car to get around and to vist San Bonifacio and Soave. The train stadion is in short distance but you have to cross a rather risky underpath, we did a few times but would not risk that at night. All in all a very pleasant stay at good value.

I had a great deal for under euro 40 a single room , which was good enough for one night . When we arrived we received also a welcome drink (good soave wine with snacks) We had to pay 9 euro for the breakfast, but that was just excellent good bread, make your own juces , good coffee . there was 1 minus , the internet was out, but that could be only during our visit we had a good dinner in the next door hotel-restaurant - good food -good wine - nice and quick service

Contrary to the charismatic design of the front lobby, the atmosphere of the room felt somewhat unsatisfactory. The interior of the room was old and I got something lonesome. I recommend to renovate the room.

Excellent value .Location of the hotel was ideal for my business trip from the UK. The facilities were perfect for my stay - room was clean and spacious. Special mention to the staff who provided a memorable experience from the moment my colleague and I arrived , to be greeted with aperitifs and nibbles to the time that I checked out.Evening meal and breakfast were spot on for quantity and cost. I look forward to my next visit to San Bonifacio Best Western.

everything was very good , except the breakfast ,need some improve i, should add variety of types of food . also the dining area was a little hot , no proper air conditioning , they should consider summer conditions and the rush of visitors.

This hotel offers an excellent stay for business and pleasure right in the Soave wine area. Hotel has a great and new facility. Restaurant is excellent with great wine and food selection. Everything is decent priced and offered with high quality service. Main wine road is just few kilometers from here and wine shops are along in the wineries. Hotel is very close to San Bonifacio train station and can be reached with 5 minutes walk. Hotel has nice pool and pool area has bar as well and there are every evening snacks with welcome drinks offered. Hotel has great staff which offers excellent service. A great place just for a drop my. This is now must for me always when I am in Italy.

Having booked a last minute get away flight to Venice, the cost of hotels there was sky high, and likewise in most areas around the region. So looking further afield I came across the Best Western which had a rate that seemed too good to be true. I knew where San Bonaficio was having gone through there on a Venice-Verona train, so plumped for 3 nights here. The location is good, San Bonifacio is around 25 minutes away from Verona by train (3.40 euros) and 50-60 minutes from Venice Mestre or Venice St Lucia (7.10 + 7.55 euros respectively) for single fare. To get to the hotel required turning left out of the railway station, go along the pathway to the underpass going underneath the line. Although well lit at the entrance and exit, the tunnel is quite dark inside. This may be a bit unnerving for some, but I found it no issue. The hotel is no more than 10-15 minutes from the station. The hotel was extremely welcoming. It took a matter of minutes to check in, and we were invited to a welcome drink, white wine or Prosecco, or soft drink if required, and a selection of nibbles. I only required a single room, but it was a good experience. The bed was quite large for a single, and it was in an excellent location in the hotel, there was no noise at all from the nearby railway line or main road. A wonderfully, peaceful experience. Although not required, breakfast would have cost 7 euros. The only minor gripe for me would be the shower which took a good 5-10 minutes to warm up to a decent temperature, not a major issue though. San Bonifacio is quite a small town. Most shops including the nearby Eurospar and Prix supermarkets close by 8pm, and very few places remained open, a handful of bars, restaurants etc. If you need other food or drinks if arriving later than 8pm, I'd suggest bringing them with you from the town/city you're arriving from. The train service is a little patchy if you need to catch early flights out, so bear this in mind if you don't have a car. All in all a good experience, and at an extremely low price compared to the major cities of Verona and Venice. I'd definitely look to stay here again if visiting the region.

This is the second time we have stayed at the BW Soave...we were in the area on business...it was outstanding in 2015 and incredible in 2017. Before talking about it's virtues of which there are many... We had a problem with our AVIS car and AVIS Italy was being completely uncooperative...they wanted to pick up car with tow truck and we would have to make our way 50kms to airport to replace...the General Manager, Giorgio, stepped in said let's take to Renault up the road and have them check out...Fulvio Soave, the owner, accompanied us to the car park, where Giorgio drove his car to lead the way to the Renault dealer. The dealer quickly determined that the red lights that were flashing were advice lights (service maintenance overdue) and after a quick check of the water and oil said we would be ok to complete our journey. Giorgio said bye and we continued to Soave for a look around...recommend visiting Soave. Back to the hotel review; Aside from the senior management taking an interest in some Aussie travellers and poor AVIS customer service; the front desk staff: Jessica, Monica and Frederica were stand-outs. Knowledgeable, friendly,efficient and genuinely interested. When you arrive at BW Soave you receive a welcome drink chit for a free wine (only white in Soave country) or soft drink and an amazing table of meats, cheeses, olives and more to enjoy with your welcome drink from 6 to 8 PM. The room is very large and super clean (my wife is a theatre nurse)...the bed large and comfortable. Bathroom is very good size and the shower large. The breakfast room is a treat...a large, sunny (light, if the clouds are present) room with every possible style of breakfast you fancy...from a full "American style" to wonderful fruit and breakfast rolls...meats, cheeses and everything in between. We haven't seen anything in our many years of traveling the world that surpasses the breakfast room at BW Soave. The dining room opens in the evening and the master of the room is Giuseppe. He is a gem to watch and his attention to detail superb. The menu is broad...with wonderful meals at truly friendly prices...didn't try the pizza but it looked excellent....because the rest of the menu had too many things to try in our two day stay. There is a very large pool and lounge area just outside the Breakfast room that in warm weather would be very inviting...and great for children.

We were on our way from Venice to Verona and needed a place to stay for one night. We had such a great surprise with BW Soave. It doesn't look great from the outside but trust me that all is great inside. Service was welcoming and efficient. The family room is large and very well designed. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is large and very well equipped. Minibar is free (!!!). Breakfast is very good and rich. All you can ask for from a Hotel. One note: the hotel is in close proximity to the train tracks and you can hear a slight buzz every now and then. It didn't bother us but maybe others will feel differently. There are rooms on the other side that will probably be quieter. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are around. One of my best hotel experiences along the roads.

We were lucky enough to have a trip to this amazing hotel with some of our colleagues from the Bicycle Industry. I have NEVER come away from a trip having been made to feel so special and at home. The rooms were large with enormous bed, great showers and big baths. The food was AMAZING, freshly made and selected. The staff were fantastic, helpful, smiley and always on hand, not that we ever needed anything. There is a train station within easy reach for those wanting to explore Verona town or further a field. Being it was a cycling weekend one of the most important things were the bikes we were going to be riding. Top of the range Orbea's, Pinarellos's and Scott's. Enzo spent time fitting everyone correctly to their bikes, and insuring the riders comfort, he was a legend. The route we rode was well thought out and beautiful. The wine tour that was organised at the end of the days riding was just the finishing touch to the most incredible experience. Thank you to all the staff from Senova Cycles.

I stayed there 7 days long. Shortly I can say it's an average hotel but some of the staff needs to be trained, especially the one who is called Federica. She needs to improve her attitude and approach to hotel guest. As someone who has been working for the frond desk department for the last 20 years (for the last 6 years as a night manager, assistant front desk manager, shift leader and front office manager) I would surely not let such a receptionist work at my department. Wi-fi was not so good. Sometimes signal was good sometimes not in the room. The cleanliness of the room was ok. For a 3 star hotel it's breakfast was excellent.

Stayed at this hotel while over in Arcole for business; very clean hotel well equipped with an assortment of facilities. Wide and quite a good range of food for both breakfast and dinner and ample parking space available.

Very good hotel. Great choice of food during the breakfast, friendly staff. Pool with a various snacks in pool bar make this hotel even more attractive. Rooms are large and clean. Restaurant in hotel is also worth to visit , no need to go outside and look for something else.

Nice hotel in a poor location, no places around to go by foot at the evening. Maybe good for a night stay, not more. The stuff realy want to be nice, but they are far away from proffesionality. They couldn't tell me about places around and didn't made the effort to really assist.

We stayed one night and upgraded to the rooms in newly constructed tower. The room is larger, the mattresses superb and the washroom luxurious. The breakfast was especially noteworthy, offering a vast variety, including non gluten options. One item to mention is that the rules for the outdoor pool require swimmers to wear bathing cap and you must bring your own bathing towel. otherwise you can rent the towel and buy a cap.

We stayed here as a family of four for two nights but would have stayed much longer if we had known how good it was. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel extremely clean. There was an enormous buffet selection for breakfast and a welcome drink with bar snacks upon arrival. The gym and pool were both fantastic. A swim cap is needed when using the pool but the hotel reception sell them for 3 euros each if you forget to take one. We booked an emotion room which was extremely spacious with a fantastic en suite bathroom. We also ate in the hotel restaurant both nights and the food was very good and well priced. This hotel is definitely more of a 5 star.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family of four (two teenagers) in an Emotion Suite but we could have definitely stayed longer if we had known how good it was. The suite was extremely spacious and clean with tea/coffee and mini bar facilities in the room, king size bed and bunk beds. The wet room shower with colour changing lights was a big hit with our teens. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a wide variety of choice - hot and cold. The free welcome drink at the pool side bar on arrival was an added bonus along with the complimentary bar snacks (a huge variety) every evening. The pool was brilliant and good wifi throughout the hotel. We also ate in the hotel restaurant both nights and the food was fantastic.

Very clean and inviting hotel. Breakfast was the best! Huge range to meet everyone's requirements. Breads, cereals, coffee, eggs. Watch out for the raw eggs. You have to boil them yourselves as my 9 year old found out. ?? The room very comfortable. Great beds - best sleep in ages! The funny thing was there was no soap in the room so I asked for it at reception. The guy had a look of horror on his face and said you can't open the windows not safe 2 stories up. I laughed I said soap. He then laughed too. Language. Too funny. Will stay here again.

Hotel is very new and elegant. It is located very comfortable distance from best Amarone producers such as Latium (Morini family) at Mezzane di Sotto. The hote has first class amenities and excellent gourmet restaurant. Not only the food, but wines and especially the host Giuseppe who gives excellent service and time to all customers. If You arrive by train, the hotel is very accessible and easy going. Pool area is fantastic and fits also families and children

Good hotel, easy and quick access from highway. Some restaurants in walking distance. Really nice pool area with nice and friendly outside bar. Maybe a little close to railroad, but rooms really well isolated.

Everything was perfect. Nice modern room. Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet for just 4 EUR per person. We stayed just one night, on our way from Milano to Venice. I would recommend it for both business and leisure. Great deal: 4-5 stars at the price of 3 stars.

Was an overall suprise - the size of the room, nicely equipped, very comfortable bed, large bathroom, happy hour in the lobby simply perfect. Also the breakfast buffet was very nice with really a wide choice and more than reasoonable price. Congratulations to the hotel management and staff, it shows there is a passion behind !

Very nice hotel located in a small town between Verona and Vicenza with reasonable prices. It's perfect for a one night stay when traveling by car around Italy. I made a booking on Expedia because it said, it is pet-friendly and we needed a hotel sleep over during our trip over the north of Italy. When we arrived, we were told that pets are only allowed in pet-friendly rooms, that are 100 EUR more expensive from what we were expecting to pay for 10 hours stay. We were given an excellent huge room, beautifully decorated, and our dog got a welcome kit with food, and snacks, and toy... everything awesome, but unnecessary.

We booked this hotel near Soave, as the prices are way more reasonable than those in Verona. On the website the rooms look nice, when you arrive at the check-in you are told that you have booked a classic room, but that you can get one of the new rooms at an additional fee. The new rooms are of course those shown on the web site. Being a Platinum member of Best Western, I am entitled to a free upgrade, which I told. To which the staff tells me that I already got the upgrade, we got the nicest of the classic rooms. Well, I have words for that kind of behavior that I won't use here. The room however was ok and clean, and we were out tasting wine and walking around Verona, so it was manageable. The hotel has a pool area, nice you think, only to find out that they play loud music all day long, so not a place for relaxing. Perhaps to cover the fact that the hotel is located in an intersection of several roads and railways. I will however recommend the restaurant at the hotel, they produced some very delicious Italian food, and had friendly and service minded staff.

Beautiful hotel, located in San Bonifacio, between Verona and Venice. A train could take you there. We had a very spacious room for 96€ breakfast included, free minibar, welcome drink. Swimming pool free. Really everything you might need. Place to return to.

This was probably our favourite Hotel of 40 days in Europe. A bit of a daunting trek from the train station because of an unlit underground subway under the tracks, but it was never an issue. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the train station, so access to Verona, Padova, even Venice was super convenient. We upgraded from a standard room and got a stocked mini bar everyday from which we packed snacks and drinks everyday. Great breakfast buffet every morning, again the best by far. We ate in the dining room 3 times. Very nice atmosphere, service excellent, nicely paced. Pasta dishes were superb but expensive, so we went to the house pizza after the first night which was excellent, reasonably priced and filling. One Free drink at the lounge included with stays and one night there was tapas out. There was a disco at the back of the hotel that kept us up one night only because we had to have a window open because the air conditioning had already been shut off for the winter season. So, a few nigglies but all in all, great value. If we go back, and we would love to, we could not get enough of Verona, such a beautiful city, we would absolutely stay there again.

We chose this because it was in the right location for an overnight stay to break up a 14 hour drive. The location itself isn't beautiful, but wow, the hotel was great! We had a sense that people were coming here for a vacation itself, not just an overnight, which you often expect by a road-side hotel. We loved the location ,right off the interstate. The breakfast display was amazing, and with outdoor seating by a beautiful pool with manicured lawns, it was tremendous. The room itself was a huge family room, with bunk beds for the kids. When I ask the kids their top 5 memories from our two week trip through Croatia and France, this hotel room we stayed in for one night between the two countries made the list. Also, the most dog-friendly hotel we have visited. Our dog was treated to a toy, some treats, and a nice dog bed. He too was happy after a long day in the car!

We stayed here for two nights in July '15. We got a very good deal on two rooms which were small but clean and comfortable and fine for our stay. We were offered an uopgrade for an additionall fee but declined. The hotel has an excellent pool and we took breakfast for 4 Euro per person which was excellent value for money. The hotel is conveniently located by the railway station but not so close as to be affected by the noise. This is extremely convenient for trips into Verona and we used this quite a bit. The female staff on the desk were very friendly and most helpful but when they rotated we found a less helpful individual. We were offered a welcome drink on the evening we arrived but were unable to take this up as we had booked the opera in Verona (a must) When I tried to exchange the voucher on the second evening the staff member on the desk was not prepared to exchange the voucher which I considered petty in the overall context of our stay.I would however recommend this hotel as a value for money hub to visit Verona and really enjoyed the down time around the pool when it was really hot.
