"ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING"

Have Best Western corporate reps ever visited this place? It is Absolutely Disgusting!! SureStay Plus Hotel San Bernardino South is an absolute embarrassment to the Best Western chain. (1) The stuffed chair was absolutely filthy - dirty, covered with pet hair, badly stained... no Goodwill would ever accept this if it were a donation! It would go in the trash. (2) The bath mat was stained brown. (3) There was an old bone behind the TV stand. (it appeared to be a dog-chewed bone - this goes way beyond "pet friendly") (4) Flooring had a huge gash with turned up edges that could have cut bare feet. (5) The shower/sink water never got warmer than lukewarm, making for a less-than-comfortable shower in the morning. (6) The phone to the office hissed, buzzed like it was from the 1950s making an international call. (7) The majority of cable channels did not work at all or were so badly pixelated as to be entirely unviewable (of the 53 channels, less than half worked). Desk rep said they were aware of the problem. (8) The noise of police and fire sirens, cars racing, and mentally ill folks screaming and crying in the parking lot during the night made for less than restful sleep... though I don't hold the property responsible for this one item in the list. I have attached some photos for reference. But they really do not capture how bad things were. I am glad the holes in the wall had been patched, but there was no effort to paint over the patches. I could go on. But it doesn't seem to matter to the property manager or owner(s)... these are not subtle issues. As a BW Diamond Elite member I have stayed at Many properties in several countries. It is STUNNING to me that this place is allowed to exist under the Best Western banner!!

This hotel had excellent service. My Room was very clean and all electrical and plumbing was functional. The hotel is in a safe and Good location and right off the freeway. Close to several restaurants for every budget. The Staff was exceptional and very accomodating. Good value, I would definitely book here again.

I checked in with a dog. I was given a ground floor room in the corner where other pets were in rooms. I paid a $50 deposit, refundaable at check-out, if there was no damage to the room. The room was acceptable. There was a narrow strip of grass for a dog run. As well as my dog, I cleaned up after at least 3 other peoples dogs. When I went to check out in the morning, to ensure I got my deposit back, I was told I owed more money because I had a dog. I said that should be charged at check-in not at check-out and walked out. They did charge my credit card an additional charge. I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN, in spite of it's convenience.

I have been staying at this property since 2008 and average 4 or more stays a year and many for multiple nights (usually three). The last two in particular have been underwhelming to say the least. Since the property was reborn as a Sure Stay property it seems to have gone further downhill. The prior stay I was given a room that had only been partially cleaned (bed was made up but bathroom had not been cleaned no new towels etc.) and the clerk on duty made it seem like he was being inconvenienced in having to provide me with another room. This time the room was 'clean' at least to their standards but had a rocking toilet that leaked water onto the floor after each flush. There is a substantial amount of dirt buildup in all of the corners but the lights are so dim that you would only really know when you are in the bathroom since those lights are brighter. I stay at this place not because it is a nice property but because it is convenient for my business travel. The first morning I woke up there this week the power was out, so I got to shave and shower using my iphone for light. When I asked for some consideration at check out three days later, I was told that they were told "not to give anyone any consideration since it wasn't their fault". I guess it was my fault then. Hmm... They are also one of the last holdouts in the country (I travel extensively) for the grab and go breakfast. It is apparent this property is focused singularly on their bottom line looking solely through an expense lens. While I have noticed a downturn in the BW brand in the last year specifically, this particular property is now on my list of places not to return to. It is unfortunate, but there is no justification to pay the 'normal' hotel rate for a sub-standard experience and while the reader may look at this as some petty stuff, it is the norm for this property and not an exception. At well over 100 nights a year in a hotel, and 66 of those being with this, I know what their 'standard' is and this property helps bring a very low score to their average. I will now get the normal response from them telling me how they will try harder and want me to come back to give them another chance. I have given them chances...over and over again. This time I am serious and felt it important enough to post this on social media when normally I do not. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. You will be happy you did.

Pool and spa seem permanently closed. Rooms disgusting with bugs, broken room amenities and stained sheets. Do not stay, it is not safe, and please do not bring your children here. Incredibly awful for competitive price, wish I could have gotten refund and ran.

Was sent upstairs to room 243 after check in. Lugged heavy bags up the stairs quickly needing the restroom. Popped open the door, the bed was unmade and smelly room. Quickly shut door for fear someone would walk out of the bathroom. Trudged back downstairs to desk only to be told “ no rooms available until later”. When “later” came we settled into the room. I promptly took out my antibacterial wipes ands wipes Aspen the door handle. Then the ac unit was disgusting. The control panel turned the towel dirty grayish. Wiped off the lamp switch , again dirty grayish. Inside the bathroom there was hair on the floor, behind the bathroom door was an empty space where some type of picture hangers there- only the hanger parts. The back of the door was black in spots from hands ands use. Makes me sick. The entrance door was similar but the outside of the entrance door was Walmart dirty. Sticky and thick bits of crap, finger prints and who knows what. The floor was filthy. We had the bath mat floor down and after walking on the floor and to the toilet it turned the towel black What the heck? First night we stayed- after wiping things down, we got up early and left. When we returned NOTHING had been seen to by housekeeping. We were out of toilet paper, all our towels were in a pile on the floor- waiting for housekeeping. Had to go to the front desk to be “ put on the list”. What the heck is up with that? I will say, however the front desk people were very nice When housekeeping DID SHOW UP and cleaned the room it was NOTICEABLY BETTER! It smelled nice and looked great

Hotel is in great location but that is only positive I can say. Room stank! Horrible damp stench when opened door Pubes in bath and hair on bathroom floor. Obviously hadn't had a proper clean for a long time!! Feet were so dirty from walking bare foot in room Staff so unfriendly and unhelpful on front desk. Didn't bother going back to complain as they were so bad. Literally dumped bags and went straight back out! Our room was upstairs and trying to lift heavy suitcases up stairs was horrendous. Never again

I stayed here while attending a race in Fontana. I arrived about 6:00 p.m. and planned on going to get dinner but, since almost every parking space was taken up, I opted to stay in and eat snacks as I was afraid there wouldn't be an open space close to my room. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Avoid this Place like the Plague. it is dirty and did not seem to be kept up Ice machine didn't work, TV remote was jammed, people smoking dope outside our room reported it to front desk nothing happened.

Very unprofessional. Close to restaurants is the only convivence of hotel. Not worth it. Rooms are dirty, staff s rude. I do not recommend staying here at all. Spend your money else where... Over priced

First clue should have been bullet proof glass. Inside room, bathroom door was locked with light on. Never got in open. Lots of bugs near bathroom door. And there was an ongoing domestic violence situation on the floor above. Having my wife and two children with us, we immediately left for the Residence Inn down the road. If you stay here, sleep in shifts.

The outside looks good, but cleaning and maintenance are lacking. Definitely wont stay again with my family. Water pressure was not good, tub had a hole that if you step on you'll crack it even more. Tray where cups are placed dirty with dust and hairs. Sink had old toothpaste smeared. Found someones perfume bottle under the bed. Paint in bathroom is peeling water damage on bottom of walls. Beds were ok, spring mattress you could really feel them but pillows were not bad. Chairs are a bit dirty could use steamed cleaned. But Sha gave us good service.

The room started out well. Clean sheets. Comfortable mattress. Friendly desk personnel. Then we walked into the sink, toilet, tub area and my opinion changed. Tub was badly stained, looked like someone peed in it. Paint peeling off wall and sink chipped. The parking lot had a lot of litter. Mostly fast food containers that would attract rats. Housekeeping follow through unimpressed.

Honestly I gotta say if ur looking for a peaceful place to stay and quiet this is the place restaurants near by gas station next door ihop across the street staff management are great i came here due to our home got caught on fire staff is understanding breakfast in the morning free rooms are very clean. "Not what it was a couple of years ago!"

We had stayed here a couple of years ago and were very pleased with our stay. This visit was a big disappointment. Breakfast "go-bag" "consisted of a brown bag with a muffin, bf sandwich, apple, and a juice box, not the hot breakfast as before so I took my wife out to a proper restaurant. Room had an off smell which I had to air it out each evening after being closed up each day - not same odor as if it had been smoked in but very noticeable and unpleasant. Stayed 3 days - room not cleaned, bed not made, and only got clean towels on 3rd day. Refrigerator in room was noisy and woke me sometimes during the night. We were on the street side and there was a lot of noise one night that woke my wife around 3-4 am - maybe not entirely the hotel's fault.

Myself and my group were taken such good care of in 2019 that we decided to return again this year. We spent 12 nights on the road from Chicago and this is one of the top 3 hotels that we stay in. The other 2 we have stayed in for 10 years so they know us a little better, but we have no complaints. If possible we will be back.

The room smelled as soon as we walked in. I felt so grossed out I didn't even untuck the blankets. I paid extra to have my dog. $200 to waste. I was so disappointed. Random homeless people walking around. Thank God I carry and I felt a little more safe having my gun next to me while I slept. Never again. I had seen bad reviews and I should of listened !

It is not like us to deliver poor accommodations and we will work our hardest to get back to the standard we are known for. We have implemented many new guidelines and procedures for cleaning in our hotel rooms. We focus on "high touch" areas that could harbor germs, and have implemented additional cleanings of those areas, in addition to other steps we are taking around the hotel, to protect our guests and staff members. We want each and every guest to feel they received value for the price paid. I am truly sorry we did not meet this goal with you.

Everything in the room was great that was great room is clean air conditioning was wonderful and staff was kind. The pool wasn't opened but I think that's due to covid other than that it's by the freeway very convenient and lots of restaurants and shops

This place is incredibly overpriced. Smoke alarm went off at 6 AM one morning with no apology from the hotel whatsoever. The pool was closed the entire time. Breakfast was a to-go bag, it was OK, but it would've been nice if they changed up the offerings day today. The beds are hard and uncomfortable but not the worst I've slept in. You can hear every step that is taken in the room above you. AC was pretty bad, if you were in the bed close to the window you were freezing if you were in the other bed you were sweltering hot. It also let in all kinds of weird smells and the smell of people smoking weed all over the place. Check in process was really awful. Be prepared to have your vehicle license plate and the make and model plus all kinds of other information with you when you check in. Also be prepared for them to have no idea about what kind of room you booked even though you specifically booked a two queen, non-smoking, pet friendly room on the website. Also be prepared for them not to tell you there's a $30 per night per pet extra cleaning fee. When you book a pet friendly room. You'd think that they would put this in the price of the room but no, they make it the same price as the regular rooms but you pay the additional fee on top of your room fee which hides the true price. After all why would you specifically book a pet friendly room if you're not bringing a pet? But like I said even though you booked this kind of room online be prepared for them to try to put you in a completely different room than what you booked. Also be prepared for your room to not be ready at 3 PM for a check in time, we waited in the parking lot for over an hour for them to clean our room. Understanding that due to Covid protocols they have stricter cleaning processes but no offer was made to give us the room and have a them call us when it was ready. We had to wait and make sure they didn't give our room to someone else because they wouldn't give us the keys until the room was clean. Also if you were on the first floor you can hear every step that is taken by the people above you. Our first night I thought they were running a marathon in their room. This is a pretty basic hotel. A safe place to sleep but that's just about it and did I mention it is incredibly overpriced.

Good location, great staff its a little noisier because the halls are outdoor. We went to an event at the NOS events center so their were a lot of other people who chose to stay here too so because of the hours of the event the noise of people coming and going wasn't a bothersome!!! Def my 1st choice when we go to events down there but it definitely sells out fast!!!!

Extremely incompetent front desk receptionists. took us two hours the check in. They won't help to check in or any matter they sit and throw numbers at you and tell you to figure it out if they can't find you reservation in a second. Ok rooms. Old. Crappy stair wells. In a sketchy place. Everything sucked. Do better best western! I will not be coming back ever again. SureStay in Sam Bernardino was horrible - stay away!

Our ground floor king room was clean and quite comfortable. The single lavatory basin and counter were small and challenged us to manage the limited space available. The compact refrigerator worked well as did the TV and WiFi internet access. Breakfast room was closed under COVID restrictions. "Sack" breakfasts were available in the lobby.

Felt really comfortable. The maids kept my room cleaned and always provided me with what i needed. I would definitely stay again and recommend others to stay. Majority of the time spent there was peaceful. The beds comfortable especially the pillows.

New facility so very clean and modern, under covid restrictions so no gym or pool, rooms are spacious and 2 tvs good planning. Other hotels available in Dauphin did not check them out, this one opened in July/20 and have always had good luck with a BWP.

The room I stayed in had a distinct musty smell, the lighting was very poor, the tub was old, dirty and cracked with several spots of spackling from attempted repairs and other guests were awake and noisy until after 1am.

The room was clean and smelled fresh. We requested a morning check in and staff was able to accommodate which was nice. We also requested a late checkout and while they only allowed us an extra hour there sure was alot of banging and construction type noises going on all morning

Ask for a room away from the ice machine. If you have a dog bring a fan because the air conditioner goes off and on. If there is anyone outside talking in the night like there was the night we stayed then your dark may bark through the night without a way to block the noise. There is a lot of foot traffic at this hotel. The room was clean, the bed was very firm. Overall it is okay.

I stayed here for one night as I was driving through the area. Check in and check out was done through the night window only, which I assume is to limit physical contact and slow the spread of COVID-19. The room was mostly decent, although it looked a bit worn. The window didn't let in that much sunlight, so I ended up just closing the curtains and turning on the lights the whole time. (I checked in a little late in the day but the sun was still out, so I don't know if that made any difference.) I say "mostly decent" because one thing stood out: the armchair, which had stains on the seat. I don't know how often or how thoroughly it's cleaned, but this is worrying enough without a pandemic putting people on edge. Because of COVID-19, breakfast was in the form of a to-go bag, which you would ask for at the night window during regular breakfast hours (6 AM to 10 AM). Maybe my expectations here are too high, but it seemed more like a bag of snacks than an actual breakfast. (I'm interested in comparing this to the normal breakfast offering in better days.)

I have stayed at this location more than 10 times in the last year and the property itself is a great value for the price. However, the front desk staff is progressively worse. Hotel was not up to the standard of Best Western, I will not stay in SureStay again. Very disappointed. Furniture in rooms was old, worn and dirty. Pillows were lumpy, we used our own pillows that we travel with incase. Front desk was rude at check in, check out was friendly.

Three years ago we had a reservation. On arrival we were told it would be a smoking room. They blamed the travel site, claiming that change the specification. We then went next door to the Day's Inn and got great service albeit in an older, more basic hotel. This year we chose to try this hotel again. We also changed travel sites using one that has great support. The hotel is older, but well kept. It's quiet. The rooms are clean, large and the beds comfortable. We had a ground floor so load/unload was easy. The breakfast was full with someone cleaning up and refilling the steam trays. Hospitality Lane has a large number of chain restaurants and fast food places. It also has a Costco gas station.

Very nice well maintained hotel with clean rooms. Breakfast is included and has a good selection of options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do charge $30/night per pet in fees. I find this a bit exorbitant as a multi pet family. Two nights added $120 to our total for our two dogs that lay around and cause no damage to the hotel room. For that reason alone I'll stay elsewhere next time in the area.

If you're looking for a clean, safe and secure place to stay in San Bernardino in close proximity to a dozen great restaurants, this is the BEST place to stay. Period. May I recommend Red Lobster a few blocks to the west on the opposite side of the street. You have to make a U-Turn at "E" Street.

Site has many security cameras and supposedly a security guard yet there was an individual passed out in the stairwell in front of our room. Exterior looks inviting, inside very dated. Only new laminate flooring. Which must be very dirty as the shower floor turned very black as I stepped in. Automatic lights at the sink were a pain if someone even moved in bed. Child size high volume toilet yet they want you to save water by reusing your towels. Oh and our key was deactivated after the first day.

This is my personal experience.Noise from street, light train and airport won't let you rest. Upon my arrival I explained I am sensitive to noise and they said thy can offer room 204. However, the room was terrible. You could hear noise from street during day and night. The light train horn was awful when crossing the adjacent intersection. And airplanes were making additional noise. Not a pleasant place to stay or rest. Avoid this place.

Staff was ok greeted us checked us in and gave us a room key. The key they gave us did not work for the room we were assigned so we had to walk back to the lobby they gave us a different room. The hotel has a major renovation in the past few years so rooms and breakfast area really look clean and new. The only 2 things I was missing was an elevator to the 2nd floor and an updated blanket rather than just a thin old brown one. Breakfast was one of the best in this category.

I really enjoyed the room and overall property but on the 4th nite of my stay I found a strange man outside my room he had sliced open my window screen. I believe he was going to try to get in but I chased him off and told the front desk . Security never came out to invest.

Floors were dirty but dust was aplenty. Place needs a good cleaning and sanitizing! Door wouldn't shut all the way and while the staff was pleasant I wouldn't recommend staying here. Not worth the price at ALL.

Just a little disclaimer on this bad review. We did not stay here. Family of three booked two nights via hotwire and I specifically reserved two beds and nonsmoking for two adults one child. When we checked in we were told it was for a smoking King room. My son with his asthma would have been miserable. When we got there. First thing I said was “this looks pretty ghetto” it reminded me more of a run down motel 6 than a best western. Checking in the staff was less than helpful and had us call Hotwire to make any changes. Hotwire called the hotel and they wouldn't work with them at all. So we cancelled and got a full refund and went to the Hilton. So glad we did, much much nicer lobby and amenities.

What they need is a full time security person. Man took baseball bat to womans van (guessing girlfriend), then flatened tires. People would just dump trash in parking area. Police had to kick people out of a room, at least 9 were staying in it...yelling and arguing taking place. Breakfast had packaged hardboiled eggs that were a month past experation date. Stayed here a couple of years ago, and it has really gone donw hill.

Nice staff a lot of construction people were staying there, but it was quite room was a nice no carpet. restrooms were clean, and coffee pot in room ,fridge micowave, noisy heating system so left fan on so its not constantly turning off and on

Well located, near many other hotels and restaurants. Good parking. Our room was OK, but our friends next door had a very dirty floor...to the extent that their feet looked 'dirty' after walking across it. Breakfast OK - Good Value Hotel

I have stayed at this property in the past and have never been disappointed. The rooms are always quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and attentive to your needs. Honestly it's so hard to find a decent pet friendly hotel for a fair price. This location not only not only met my pet needs but also provided a decent breakfast. It's walking distance to a lot of fast food and chain restaurants and the proximity to the freeway is convenient. There was no security that I was aware of but that didn't discourage my stay. I would highly recommend to anybody who wants to do an overnight trip or weekend excursion.

I have used this location several times over the years. Service is wonderful. Hotel is clean. Staff is awesome. My room was well stocked and clean each day. When I needed to extend my stay it was easy and staff was ready to accommodate my needs.

Good hotel, bad area. You can see homeless people showering at the gas station from your room and the freeway and garden make it very loud. Hard time to sleep. Breakfast was good and rooms are clean. Friendly staff.

Since we had to drive to Grand Canyon the next morning I had booked ourselves into Sure Stay plus San Bernardino in a hope to avoid the morning traffic of LA. But that meant that we had to traverse LA and get to San Bernardino at night through all the traffic. Thankfully we were able to skip most of the traffic thanks to the empty HOV lanes. We arrived tired at Sure stay plus and the front desk was amazing in showing us to our room quickly. I requested for a non smoking room but I was told that only a smoking room was available and allotted to out booking. Upon checking my reservation I was able to confirm that it was the only room available at the time of booking also. The bed was comfortable and that's more than what we needed. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, but considering the price it was okay. There's a iHop right across the road that's open around the clock and that's where we headed to for breakfast. Will definitely come back and stay here if I'm driving east of LA any day. It's easier to skip the traffic in the mornings

Property was wonderful. If you're looking for a resort type property, this isn't it. However, if you're looking for a nice place to sleep and grab breakfast, this is it. The rooms were clean, my niece and I felt safe in the area, beds were soft and great breakfast options.

hotel room was very big and spacious, we had a king room! The breakfast was the best free hotel breakfast ive had, they had hot potatoes, sausage/bacon, eggs, fresh waffles, and a bunch of other tings. I put nutella and syrup on my waffles, but they had lots of different options for toppings! Everyone was very nice and it was easy to check in and out.

Location is a little sketchy and the amenities within a smoking room (all they had left) were subpar and outdated. There was a dead roach on the floor and the bedsheets were either unchanged or not cleaned.

Lets start with the hotel clerk. He was so nice and helpful with info on local places to eat. The room was a good size with two queen beds. The hotel was very clean the bathrooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable with extra pillows! What more can tired travelers ask for. A swimming pool you ask, sure this place has one and it was kid approved.

My mother in law recommended we stay here because of the value and cleanliness plus it was close to the hospital my mom was having a procedure at. It didn't disappoint and it is close to restaurants. In fact we were happy to eat at Claim Jumper just down the street. Nice!

Pet friendly. Convenient to the freeway, and quiet. Beds are great. All of which make it a good choice for a California-to-Arizona trip. Floors could be cleaner in the pet rooms--the only issue we found.

The price and location were great for a 4 night work trip. The staff was awesome, breakfast was great and the rooms were probably the cleanest I have been in. I enjoyed the breakfast attendant sending a shirtless hippie back to get a shirt on! Pillows were too hard and thick though. One downside is the area- while the property felt safe and was well lit, the neighborhood was sketchy. I don't think this is the only place affected by this because there are a lot of places around, it is just a city that allows tweakers and encampments.

Despite the hotel having some negative reviews we decided to book our hotel here at SureStay Plus, and we were definitely satisfied! Great pricing, great quality, and great customer service! The continental breakfast was the best breakfast I've had out of all of my hotel stays. The hotel rooms were clean, and everything was in working order. And their customer service is excellent. We had absolutely no problems during our stay and slept great! We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

Property is always clean and staff are courteous. Bfast is good and and eating area clean. The women who run the bfast area are always friendly and helpful. One the cleanest and nicest hotels in the area and the price is fair. On weekends the price seems to double which I think isn't so great for someone frequents this location often

The girl I checked in with was very nice, helpful and welcoming. She gave me a tote full of essentials,(baby wipes, water bottles, healthy snacks, glo sticks). There happen to be a big rave going on nearby that weekend, I thought that was a great gesture. The hotel room was clean and well put together, nice location. Definitely would stay here again if the next rave is at the same location.

I have stayed at this property before. There are new owners and they have been improving and upgrading the hotel. The staff is always professional and courteous. The rooms are clean and well kept. The breakfast is always well presented, hot and fresh. The property has new exterior lighting that makes the hotel look really nice. I will be staying at this property anytime I am in the area.

Our checkin took 35 minutes, a ridiculous amount of time for what should have been no more than 10 minutes (accounting for the two people in line in front of us). We were informed the counter rep was brand new, having completed a week's worth of training with supervision. This was her first day "flying" solo. While she was pleasant, she didn't know what she was doing and admitted it. Our checkin process should've taken no more than 10 minutes at most. In addition, the quality of the bed linens is very poor. Old sheets, pilly and scratchy. I was on the lower floor and could hear people stomping relentlessly on the floor above at 4:30 a.m. Thin ceiling which needs sound insulation. Fortunately it was just a one-night stay. Not recommended at this time.

Great staff, clean rooms with good wifi, and the location is near main route and good selection of places for dinner. Staff was helpful and noticed that I older and offered a main floor room close to the office. Wifi worked well with no glitches. They offered amenities such as laundry and a swimming pool. The breakfast offered had a good variety to cover everyone including those with special dietary needs.

Wonderful stay! Helpful staff! This place is very clean, comfortable, and convenient! A must stay. We loved how accomidating they were to our needs. They added our pets without hassle. We also requested a late check out and were granted it very easily.

The staff literally treated me like family. I'm very thankful for all the support while I was going through a family issue. The rooms are very clean and have a nice look. Breakfast is amazing from eggs sausage or even make your own waffles the spread is perfect. The wonderful women who keep everything stocked are so thoughtful and caring it's what makes you feel like you're at home. You will see upon your own stay how nice it truly is. This property is priced right and the location suits us, but the was a lot of noise from adjacent rooms during this stay. Either the soundproofing is inadequate or other guests were particularly boisterous at all hours. Early work schedule meant we missed out on breakfast.

I have stayed numerous times in this hotel for business travel. The staff is courteous, and after the first couple of visits the front desk clerk remembered me and called me by my correct name. The rooms are clean, with nice beds, and linen. The floors are not carpeted, but are probably able to be kept cleaner that way.

The location is good since it's around restaurants. Gas station next to the hotel. Seems like it's in a busy area but there is hardly any noise. The mall is close by. Everyone is nice and clean hotel. they deal with any matter immediately.

I checked in late fridge nor heater worked was promised free night or money back in AM the Mng said they should of never told me that she did not honor her word my food went bad and I was cold all night please whatever you do DO NOT COME here 1 will tell you something and manager will wash her hands by sayng they should of never told you that she's a liar who would of gotten all my drivers to stay there twice a week every week I'm so upset and disappointed

This hotel is very convenient for business/family stays in the downtown San Bernardino area and even is convenient for Riverside family business. The room, internet service, and continental breakfast were perfectly in order. We did, however, awaken a few times due to traffic noise and/or light from the parking lot or surrounding lights. Despite this, we will likely stay again when we need to be in town, as it was a good stay overall and the staff was friendly and professional.

The hotel was in a great location in San Bernardino with many restaurants and conveniences close by for those who may not want to drive any further - and it was super clean! Very friendly front desk staff as well as good hot breakie the next morning!

The room with bathroom were very clean and in order. The breakfast was Awesome and delicious, the best I've ever had. The beds and pillows were very comfortable for us to rest.The hotel lobby was clean and the Staff were very professional.

Very friendly and helpful staff,nice location and convient to stores, restaurants etc. Clean rooms and grounds. Very nice breakfast with good variety and wonderful taste. Nice pool and hot tub area. Definitely recommend staying here.

"Decent Value in Safe Area"

This hotel is in a safe area of San Bernardino and located in walking distance of many restaurants and bars. It was clean and conveniently located near freeway on ramps. They have a decent breakfast with pleasant indoor and outdoor seating areas. The pool is minuscule. It's what you expect from the Best Western chain.

"Nice clean room"

My room was clean, bright and exactly as shown on pictures on website. Bed was comfy with lots of pillows breakfast was good, scrambled or hard boiled eggs, sausage, and potatoes in addition to standard waffles, cereal and toast offerings. Front desk Jessica was friendly and very pleasant. Nice stay will definitely chose this hotel again

"Rude staff and rude head housekeeper, Susan"

After traveling for 600 miles, got to hotel about 1. Was told room was not ready, check-in at 3. I asked to check in early, sit by the pool until room was ready and was told NO. I asked to use a bathroom and was told there was none I could use. Sat in parking lot, 110 degrees with sick dog in car, A/C running. Saw three housekeepers working on other rooms. I asked one if she could do our room next and she said no problem. When head housekeeper, Susan, saw this, she kept going in room, looking at us, wasting housekeepers time. Took almost the two hours to clean room then we had to wait for Susan to approve before we could check-in. Sat in lobby waiting for her. When she saw me she snidely and condescendly said "Sweatheart. . .did you pull my girl off her job to clean your room?" I told her I asked if she could do it next as it was 110 out and I had a dog that needed air. When she spoke to me, she was so rude and belittling that the woman behind the desk laughed. I was so upset, i couldn't look up as I did not want them to see tears in my eyes. We could not wait to leave the property in the morning and we really thought something was going to be done to our vehicle or we would be charged extra trumped-up cleaning fee for our dog. Avoid this hotel like the plague!!!

"A solid choice for the area"

Best Western generally has a reputation for good quality properties, and this is no exception. The room was decently sized, had a mini fridge and microwave, a good shower with a low stepover height tub, and the usual desk/chair with power outlet. The included breakfast (does anyone honestly believe it to be "free") is slightly above average in quality but typical in variety. Be careful when booking through anything but the Best Western website- apparently there's a glitch where smoking preference is not accurately transmitted to the hotel. I was almost given a smoking room which for me is absolutely unacceptable; thankfully, the hotel was able to find me a non-smoking room. Be sure to call the hotel directly to confirm your smoking preference if you book online. There are two restaurants within walking distance- the Black Angus, currently closed for renovation, and the Claim Jumper which was excellent. For the money, it's a solid four out of five location.

"Terrible"

The customer service was terrible. They charged me for that decortaive bed cover (why in the world anyone would steal that?) And when i told them that i placed them in the drawers while we were there, obvuiosly housekeeping didnt even look, they didnt take responsibility at all. This place is nasty
