Best Western near Lackland AFB/SeaWorld

A no frills low end motel. But, they take great care in keeping it clean, inside and out. The free breakfast tries to have something for everyone. Some days the coffee in the lobby was hot and decent, other times it tasted like lukewarm colored water. Friendly helpful staff.

I chose this hotel by accident. Thought I was selecting best Western plus. Finalized it and there were no changes allowed. I prefer indoor corridors for security and safety reasons. I wouldn't not choose a hotel like this if I was traveling alone.

I sneezed the whole stay which was supposed to 2 days but I just stayed less than 24 hrs. Please never book with this hotel especially if have kids. Cleanliness is total garbage full of dust I feel like they never did the laundry. I never write reviews but this time I feel disgusted in the room. This hotel just made my stay such a nightmare.

Good atmosphere, open air and clean rooms. The place is good for families to stay. The location is close to many places. There are good restaurants close by. Pool is also big and clean. All the facilities described are provided.

I enjoy the Breakfast, we stayed 4 days and they had a good variety of waffles, eggs sausage, biscuite and gravey, different every morning, I wish it went till 10. And it is a nice, convenient place, pool could stay opened later but all in all good place to stay. Good signal and good wi fi.

This hotel features everything, including an indoor gym and outdoor pool right outside your door. Open 24/7 along limited with services at night. Gas and great food all around are minutes away. Clean comfy beds are just minutes from reach!

Checked in here with a friend of mine and this place while it looked nice turned out to be a nightmare. Booked two rooms went to the first one and it looked like there was some sort of stain on the bedsheet. A/C in room was one that could pass for a window unit. While checking in the clerk didn't quite know how to pay for cash for one room and put a card on the other. My friend felt a bad vibe about this place and when I went to complain about it and ask for a refund that's when all the fun began. The manager became very irate about it and escorted us back to the room and made a complete jerk about the room and after about 15 minutes of this charade and getting mad to two of his employees, which by the way no customer should ever have to put up with. He did hand me back all the money I put down, reluctantly and in anger. For those of you reading this, ladies if you feel a bad vibe about something would you feel comfortable staying, whether its cleanliness, location, or even just something else? I bet not, and my friend didn't want to, and I was not going to let her stay. Wished I had video of this whole thing.

The hotel is nice for the price. Pool area is nice. Breakfast is good. Rooms are comfortable. Customer service is not great. Beware if you try to use a Best Western gift card. When we checked in they said we couldn't use it because the room was already charged to our card. We get that -- other properties do that, but the other properties also accept the gift card and credit back our credit card. It's not hard. We stay in Best Westerns about 40x a year. But this clerk was rude and dismissive of our request. The next morning he came up with a new story: that we can't use the gift card because we made the reservation with a "third party." That "third party" is the Best Western.com home page! When you search for this property and click on "see hotel website" it takes you to this very page. If you can't book a Best Western on the Best Western website without getting hassled for doing it through a "3rd party" then I don't know what to do . . . I get that each is owner operated, but they should not have the Best Western name if they don't honor Best Western policies. And honestly, it was difficult just to get the clerk to pay attention to us and try to help. Customer service was not a priority.

This hotel is far from BW standards. The property was pretty trashy and the breakfast is only half stocked each day. The pool was nice (go figure). The rooms are very dated and everything works, sort of. You have to ask for clean towels every day. If we had not prepaid for our stay I would have left on day one.

I enjoyed my stay , check in was quick, staff was very friendly. Rooms were a good size. Beds were very comfortable. Pool area was very nice Great recommendations for lunch and dinner. Location was great , close to lots of shopping centers. Will definitely be staying next San Antonio visit.

Front desk staff are always fast, organized, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. Rooms are big, spacious, and very clean. Quiet atmosphere with no worries about any crime. Definitely try the whirlpool spa rooms. Absolutely love them. Always the place I choose to stay when I need a hotel.

Requested King room away from pool. 1st Room 242 and 2nd Room 112 near pool and double beds - dirty, smelly, stained sheets, piss on walls near toilet, mold in ceiling and bathroom, hairs on pillows, chairs stained, couches smell and stained. Customer service was horrible. Went through 2 rooms in an hour and decided we wanted our money back and they refused. They eventually agreed to give us half back. We had no choice but to stay and we requested clean sheets which we had to put change up ourselves. They said we would have cost them 2 rooms they could have rented if they refunded us. lol. Who would want to rent those rooms all dirty and nasty. You cannot understand a word they are saying. Shady place. Kids running around all over. The smell of pot was everywhere you turned. Overall horrible experience. Do not stay here! Do not give them your credit card info/purchase until you see the room your are getting.

Good enough; very close to Sea World; Staff was very accommodating; Room was clean and quiet, but we could hear guests walk/run above us. All was good but tub had a very slow drain and it was a bit dark in the room. table lamps weren't very bright. Could not hear guest on either side of us. WiFi was a bit weak in places in our room, but adequate. I mean, we did have 4 devices drawing from it.

The sheets were stained and when we called the front desk, we were told housekeeping was gone for the day and there was nothing they could do to help. Then we discovered there were no bath towels in the room, apparently those are on request. When we told them it was missing, we were told we could go back to the front desk to get some. The ones we got were also stained and looked like they went through a lot. We checked out early and when I asked for a receipt, I was told I could come back tomorrow to get it. I stated again we were checking out and leaving the city, why would I come back for a receipt. When I asked if it could be emailed, they said sure. I asked if they had my email and the guy rattled off some letters and numbers that wasn't even close to my email then asked to take my email. I never received the receipt. Sketchy place, would have had a nicer stay in a McDonald's parking lot.

My husband and I came into San Antonio from Arizona at the last minute finding out that my sister was going to be passing away. We did not know how long we were going to stay. We would have booked for a few more days had it been a decent place. Hotels in San Antonio were a lot higher than what we expected. We paid $129 for the night and they quoted us a price of $149 for the next night. There was a nasty something kind of a stain? on the toilet lid. Bathroom was sort of grungy. Bathroom mirror had a big chip out of the corner and light was very dim. The walls and especially ceiling (had many odd stains) needs to be repainted. I found hair in the sheets. I do think they had been washed and changed, just something that clung to them through the process. It just gave me an overall yucky feeling so we used Travelocity for the next night and paid $142 for right across the freeway at a Courtyard Marriot which was SO much nicer.

Dirty stained sheets, bloody mattress, broken toilet, broken lamp, nasty floors can't walk barefoot they'll turn black. Breakfast is gross. Shady location crackheads approach you and hookers are out in front of hotel at night walking the streets. Have to be careful! Place smells like mildew. We booked for 2 nights and only stayed one. We had to leave the second night because we couldn't endure anymore. This place should be shut down!

Came for my son's BMT graduation and will definitely be back again! Staff was great, price was great. Not too far from base or shopping. Best hotel I've stayed at recently. I definitely recommend to all.

The worst experience I could have had, I traveled from arlington 5h traffic enters and everything to get to San Antonio with a 3-month-old baby and a 10-year-old boy, we rented a room with a double bed, when I enter the reception when using the bathroom I see that THE HYGIENE IS HORRIBLE stains from months dust everywhere which caused me to want to inspect my room, upon arrival I try to unmake the bed and I find that MY SHEETS WERE NOT CHANGED (you could see the mark of dirty feet on the sheets and there go long straight hair I'm blonde and laugh) to which I call reception and communicate the situation, the staff told me that they do not have any cleaning staff available. And that he had no more unoccupied rooms. We paid almost 600 dollars for two nights to sleep in those conditions?? They must train their staff to at least offer clean sheets since due to my fatigue I was willing to change them in order not to be with my daughter from side to side. No one understood my frustration or helped me find any solution so we left the place.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the best western Ingram .The rooms were very clean and organised. The pool was right next to my room and i had the best view from my room and I have spent most of my time over there .The house keeping staff were helpful whenever I had needed some favours . The breakfast was so delicious and I loved every aspect of the hotel stay there .

Hotel was very easy to find and access. Person checking us in was very friendly and polite. Explained everything thoroughly. Room was clean and comfy. Pool area was very nice and we enjoyed setting out by the pool in the evening. Since it was early spring, we were the only ones in the area and it was very serene. Breakfast was limited, but the Texas shaped waffle was one of the best waffles I have ever had. Check out was quick and easy. We enjoyed our stay.

March family vacation during spring break visiting surrounding theme parks and of course staying at Best Western because it does have a family Suite that way the entire family can stay together and keep an eye on my children

For the price you pay, you expect better! Very dim lighting in the restroom and vanity area! Stains on restroom wall and lamp shades! Need a paint job! I could barely see too do my hair! I am used to better from best Western!

Picked this hotel because they have whirlpool baths. Unfortunately, I didn't reserve one and had only a regular bath. Very clean property and room. Very filling breakfast--waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit, juices and great coffee. Internet worked great even at the back of the property. We would highly recommend and would stay anytime we come back.

To start off the front attendant was not friendly at all. The one conversation I recieved was how much my bill was going to be. I even had to ask for my room number. The bathroom was below standard, the toilet ran and the vent did not work. The beds were sleepable but the pillow were dingy and looked dirty. The breakfast was terrible. The powdered eggs were runny and the microwave bacon was cold. Only 1 pastry was out and not much else to choose from. This was at 8 am so the was no reason not to provide more food. The second day breakfast was worse. Only 2 biscuits and a bowl of gravy. Definitely will not be coming back the this one.

Over all very satisfied with this stay. The only issue was the room they gave was obviously being used by maintenance. There were power tools,etc. They put us in another one. Also used my reward points but was still charged for the room. I have yet to hear back from them.

This is an older hotel but very clean. The staff was wonderful, very professional and friendly. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Extra bonus point for not having any smoking odors in the room or the lobby.

I had a wonderful stay at best western . The house keeping staff and front desk were available almost all the time to help . The hotel was clean, hygienic and maintained well . And the breakfast was delicious. To sum up, it was a memorable experience to stay at best western and I'm looking forward to visit again .

I was staying here with my son that lives out of state. The room was clean and if I ever needed anything, the front desk was happy to help. Considering the pandemic, breakfast was done well. I stayed for 2 nights and each time the breakfast was a little different with different items. I would come back here again and probably will in the future.

Stayed on a Thursday with tax and fees our total was only $68 for a king bedroom. Facility was clean, check in was easy and staff was friendly. Bed was comfortable. This hotel is very close to Ingram mall and many restaurants. Also has easy access to 410 which made our trip so much easier

Staff was super nice and helpful. We were late for breakfast and the staff still helped us out by bringing some food out for us. Came in late for check in but staff was friendly and answered my extra questions. I signed up for the rewards program and he did a good job of explaining things to me.

We found 4 dead big cockroaches in the room. The room smells when we opened the door. The internet is not stable. Sometime, there is no internet service. The nice night shift staff, Steve, helped us and reported to the manager. But, the manager never came to ask and care about the uncomfortable experiences we were having in the hotel.

I stayed at Best western Ingram and simply loved my stay there. It's a nice, clean, noise free and calm place. I booked a Suite that had 3 beds, couch, fridge, microwave, hair dryer etc. The room was spacious and worth the price. We really enjoyed the pool and loved the fact that this place is surrounded by various food chains and activities like go karting and sea world. I loved the hot buffet breakfast including omelets, waffles, cereals, sausages, hash browns and variety of other stuffs that they serve there. The staff are really friendly and professional. Had no issues during my stay. It was one of the best experience I had and would definitely plan to visit there soon.

I choose to stay at BW hotels because they are usually clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. While this hotel was inexpensive, our room was in terrible condition. The room had a strong odor and was not very clean, There was black mold growing over the tub, the toilet seat was quite loose, and the bed had a spring coming out of the side and was quite uncomfortable and needed to be replaced. There was no TV remote, and when I complained about that I was told that there were no more. So, when I went to use the buttons on the back of the TV it was sticky and dirty. I expected much better from this hotel chain.

The desk struggled with the english language. I asked several times to talk with a manager . They called someone 3 times but would not allow me to speak with them. After much effort I never got a receipt for my stay . I have a right to a receipt. The room smelled bad. My daughter later told me she had to wash her feet before going to bed because of the carpet. She said it was dirt but might have been the carpet was falling apart.

My stay was great pool was nice young lady at the desk was nice and was a great help to us when looking for good bbq hotel is a little old but clean breakfast was great we had a great time and will be back to see u guys in September

We checked in around 11pm. Front desk gentleman was very professional and provided a quick and easy check in. Room was comfortable clean and looked updated. Water pressure was good. It was a good stay. Great location with Walmart a mile and half down the road. Free parking was a plus and the Pool is open from 9a-9pm. Breakfast was great as well. Texas waffles, eggs, sausage links, potatoes, cereal station and toast and pastries as well as yogurts. For the price we enjoyed ourselves and the amenities.

I wasn't expecting the awesome service i received at this establishment. Friendly and knowledgeable about their duties. The maintenance man knew his chemistry because i could get into the pool without my eyes burning. Housekeeping was more helpful

Dirty, dirty, dirty. The bathroom had dried blood and poop. HEALTH CODE VIOLATION!!! Mold too!!! Front desk people didn't care. Sent someone to “clean” but nothing got cleaned. Not only that, the entire hotel room was just covered in dirt and grim. After one night, they switched us to another room. The bathroom was cleanER but still dirty. Hotel room still had dirt and grim. I would NEVER stay here again. People working were rude and didn't care that it was dirty. Seriously health code violations here. This place needs to be evaluated!!!! There were no other places to stay so I ended up cleaning it myself to make it at least inhabitable for my family. I should charge them a cleaning fee!!!!

This was just an ok room. We really only needed a place to shower and sleep. We were out all day. So this was ok for that. The beds were ok but the carpet was dirty. We had to ask for bath towels twice. The breakfast was not as shown online. It was a sack breakfast. The pool water was not to clear.

This is an“EXCELLENT”hotel if u wanna stay at a hotel and the“EMPLOYEES” are so friendly and helpful with anything u need the rooms are so “CLEANED” and “BIG” I “RECOMMEND” This hotel if u wanna go with family and friends

I chose this hotel because it was close to Sea World. The lobby was minimally inviting and the person at the front desk did not look too happy to see us, but I didn't think much of it until we got into the room. It was dank and musty and smelled like old cigarettes. Our five hour drive took seven hours due to a ton of car wrecks and bad weather along the way; so, the the last thing you'd expect to see are 'not so small' roaches after pulling back the bed covers. That did it for us! We were only there for 20 minutes. I'm glad I trusted my instincts and did not unpack anything. We immediately cancelled and found a much nicer and cleaner hotel that was 15 minutes away. When I told the front desk staff person about the bug problem, he smirked and said "really?" I wasn't amused. My last experience with a Best Western hotel was wonderful, but not this particular one. I urge you to stay away from this hotel. It is not worth the money. This is a poorly maintained properly. It's definitely one of those places where you get what you pay for!

Close to the hospital bring your own TV trays so you can eat your meals and have a place to prepare your food near the microwave. Overall it was a great experience. The pool was clean. Room was clean.

Worst BW property I have ever seen. * Plan on arriving before the sun sets. The light switch inside the door turns on nothing because there is no fixture in the entry ceiling. You have to wander into the dark room all the way to the bed to find a light. * Paint peeling off the backside of the door. * Hole in wall where the door stopper is. Stained sheet. * No alarm clock. * No laundry bags. * No writing tablets. * No blankets available. * Never seen a hotel room that didn't have at least 4 full-sized towels. This one only has two, plus only 1 hand towel. Key-card reader for ice machine / laundry room was broken – you have to get staff to open the door. * Takes 4-5 attempts before the key card activated the door reader to my room. * Walls are painted a depressing dark gray color. Lazy painters painted the trim the same color. Frankly, I don't know what keeps this place in business. I've been in nicer Hotel 6 properties.

I hate leaving any reviews but people need to know. I got bed bugs, a dirty room, stained bed and towels, and much smaller room with no working toilet after I checked in only to find the room that was reserved and paid for was occupied by someone else. I got no apology nor credit . I paid way too much money for the suite and got a small, dirty, smoke smelling, disgusting way cheaper looking and priced room in place of. Lets not leave out shady people walking about the parking lot. This was the worse experience ever for me and my kids!! Never staying in this poorly kept, over priced location.

Room was very dirty. Bed sheets where un washed and burned. Pillows where yellow and had make up stains. Bed sheet was yellow had a couple burned holes and stains. Cover had stains. The whole bed set was musty and unsanitary. Non smoking room, had a strong cigarette smell. Furniture had very questionable stains. Shower is not suitable for use. Lighting is terrible, probably so you won't see the incredible unsanitary condition you are staying in. Host was on his phone throughout the process of checking me in and other guests as well. Would not stay here, I wouldn't risk catching an unwanted diesis!

Hotel was clean and comfortable. We stayed one night after arriving late as we were traveling and left early the next morning. Room light were not bright but were ok. I received a good taste as I b an a Best Western member and booked online.

I am pregnant and have an 8 month old. The room I stayed in was a non smoking room, but when we walked in the odor of weed was so bad that my clothes reeked of it the next morning. The water in the shower doesn't stay hot enough to take a 10 minute shower, let alone more than one person taking a shower. We had a 2 queen room and they only provided two towels. We asked to move rooms the next night because we booked several nights and they denied us because we were already in our room. There were homeless people hanging all around the hotel stairs and the trash outside looked like it hadn't been taken out in more than a week. Room service came in and didn't replace anything but the bar of soap we used. No new towels. No beds made. The trash wasn't dumped. When we went to check out, the front desk wasn't there yet because they don't work until a certain time... so the janitor told us we had to wait outside in the cold until the front desk got there. Needless to say we left. This place is not worth your time!!!

My Child almost picked up a cigarette butt and put it in his mouth. When asked to switch rooms front desk said no because I was already in this room and they wouldn't be able to sell it. Lost me as a guest.

They did a good job considering COVID 19 restrictions. The price made it a good value for the suite type rooms. I enjoyed that they allowed the pool to be open, but they still should have done a "grab" bag type breakfast selection.

Don't bother stopping here. Homeless people sleeping on the stairs. People stealing things out of car. Management didn't seem to care at all. When I reported that someone had taken a cooler out of the back of my truck I was told that the manager would look at the security tape to find out about it. I had a meeting that I had to attend so I left as the manager was not in yet. When I returned back that night I was told that the manager didn't have time to review the tape as he was busy. So much for customer service. It was as if they didn't care. Don't bother taking a shower as you'll end up taking a bath as the tub didn't drain fast enough so you'll end up with water inches deep in the tub. Had to have the room key card re-keyed every other day. So if you stay more then 2 days be prepared to stop by the office to get a new rook key. I got an email from Best Western that due to the corona virus they would stop having breakfast but would have to go bags to replace breakfast. They offered nothing. Keep on moving down the road to somewhere else.

Staff service was pleasant. We have an odd experience when we checked in, the front desk had given us our key but when we went to our room it was being cleaned, I will note we at the hotel before the posted check in time. The room cleaning was good, did not appear that they washed the sheets (Burn Marks) , This might be due to a energy saving policy, unsure as this was not posted.

At first glance...the room looked clean but once the lights went out, the feeding frenzy was on!! We were suppose to be staying about 6 days and had to leave early do to bedbug!! We checked out and went to a different hotel! Do not stay in Rm 118!!!

We stayed here for 6 nights. The room and bed were comfortable. The motel is quiet in the back away from the freeway. The breakfast was ok but could be better. Many of the offerings were of lower quality. There was not enough hot water in the bath room. The location is far from the center and may not work for everyone. We would stay here if the price were right.

everything was very good except there was a lot of dust which kept me sneezing all night and the lighting was low..but the bed and pillows made up for everything they were so very comfortable..and i got my sleep..

Its more of a motel with room doors facing the outside. The breakfast is subpar, you can buy microwave food that taste better than their microwave food. The rooms are recently updated. The beds are all different some are soft, some are firm, and most are awful. Also the A/C units they use do not adequately chill the room.

I was very pleased with my stay. I prefer the older properties with the rooms opening up outside. Much more convenient to park at the door. The room was comfortable and nicely done. My bed comfortable and the room nice and quiet.

You couldnt find anoother hotel with such a considerate staff. The free breakfast redefines a continental breakfast, with a variety of food served each morning. All areas of the hotel were exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable. Best Western Ingram Park Inn was rightfully named with the key word being BEST.

First, the positives: Although the hotel looks dated from the exterior, it has been renovated inside. The lobby is nice and open. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed breakfast, with hot food options, a waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice, pastries, etc. There were plenty of options to keep the four of us happy for each of our three mornings at the hotel. Our kids swam in the pool once and it was nice and clean and protected in the center of the hotel. It is not heated, but San Antonio has a long outdoor swimming season. Now for the negatives: Our room was VERY noisy. We could hear people talking outside, even though they were just using regular speaking voices. We could hear people walking around upstairs, and even just moving in bed. Additionally when our neighbors would turn on their shower there were loud pipe sounds. We didn't report any of these noises because the staff couldn't sound proof our room and the people making the sounds weren't being disrespectful. The room is just not well insulated, I would guess.

Recently renovated hotel, great value, even better experience with desk and housekeeping when I needed help with a couple of situations that I had come up after my arrival. Highly recommend this facility.

The staff was friendly and we were close to many restaurants and the base as I was there for the AF graduation. The room was neat and clean and the pool was relaxing. Great price for a comfortable stay.

Wash cloth looked like blood had not been washed out, AC did not cool, bath room lighting very poor. when asked to move to another room I was told there was no other rooms that I had rented the last room.

We booked about a month ahead of time based off the reviews. I couldn't afford a $200 a night place and found this on the internet. For what we paid for 5 nights, my wife and I were completely satisfied. The room was clean, smelled good, big TV, ice cold AC. And the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we've ever had. I'd recommend it and would stay again if ever back in the area.

As a retired couple, my wife and I spend quite a few nights at hotels with our grandkid throughout the year. Best Western hotels have the best deals in terms of rates, services, and incentives to keep us coming back with the point system towards free stays that doesn't expire as with other hotel chains.

Very convenient very clean rooms everything was perfect the staff where so helpful from front desk to housekeeping they make sure everyone feels comfortable and welcoming, it's also very close to sea world and has different restaurant around

My experience with this hotel fell below my expectations. When we got back to New York, we realized we had left a few items back at the hotel. I called to ask if the items were there and was told someone would get back to me. 2 days later, I had to call them back and they said yes, they found them. Then I was told that I would have to find a way to get them shipped back to me at my expense. They refused to offer any help so I called teh corporate office. Corporate office said it is the Hotels discretion whether they assist you or not. The women from Corporate did not care the least that I was disatisfied. She said that's all they can do. I was taken back by the lack of concern for customer satisfaction. I have worked in the service industry for many years and this is not the way a customer should get treated. They got my money this one time and it will be the last because of this incident.

Noisy, Ill located, and average in every way. Kids and families screaming and splashing in pool till near midnight, and the “quality” one would normally expect from a Motel 6. For the price, I didn't expect more, so I'm not complaining.

We had a fantastic stay. We did have a problem with the cooling on a very hot weekend but the manager and staff took care of us right away. Everyone was very friendly. breakfast had a lot of options to choose and enough tables and chairs.

I was billed before I got there as I was wanting to pay cash. I called the hotel stating this and the reply was no problem. When I arrived he stayed because he was at capacity he had to charge my card. That's a lie.

Was just the perfect place! Very clean! Pool very accessible! Lots of room! Breakfast there was lots to chose from. I would recommend anyone to stay here! You aren't going to get a better cleaner place! I will definitely stay here next time I am in town

Send request days prior to arrival- not granted, but it's okay. We arrived 9pm and decided to cancel the entire reservation and look for another hotel because of cleanliness issue! Sheets were dirty, took some picture show it in the reception, and offer to give us sheets and replace it by ourselves! So this is what we paid for- to change their sheets, and guess what, reception told us that we have to pay them for cancelling and probably by doing them the favor of changing their sheets!

We paid almost $700 for 2 rooms and encountered ROACHES! The toilet was also nasty. There was mold and black residue. I reported both and her excuse was that they were short of help! The hotel is conveniently located if you are going to seaward, however don't expect anything great from hotel. Needs major updating. Breakfast was ok, don't eat oatmeal, was nasty. However dining area was way to small for the amount of guest that stay there and eat each morning. Had to take to our room and eat Bec cause there was no tables or space too eat . Beds are horrible, was clean for most part, but would probably not stay here again. Was a pretty noisy hotel, we could hear people by the pool and above us. Pool was smaller and very busy most of the time, didn't use because so many people. Facility just seems to need to make areas larger so people visiting can enjoy more use of them.

Very relaxing room was comfortable like a mini vacation. The desk clerk was so helpful and friendly, the room Was super clean and cool when we got there. the checkin and check out extremely quick. The staff were super friendly. Will definitely stay there again when I am in that area.

Let's start with the carpet in my room was so dirty my kids feet were black right after they got out of the bath. Let's talk bugs we stayed there five nights on the third night start a find cockroaches in our room!. In the breakfast first day is pretty good rest of the week and not so much.

Was less than pleased with our stay here. Woke up the first morning to find a fake fingernail in our bed, was told our sheets would be changed by 930 that morning after returning back to our room at 5 we had to hunt down the maid to clean our room and change our sheets, numerous problems with front end staff not being available, waited one time for over 15 minutes at front desk to get our keys that were deactivated multiple times reactivated, hot water was cold, air conditioner made a horrible sound the whole week and woke up to find a roach crawling across the bed. Will not be staying here again.

Great location!! Very friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable.Pool area was clean. I only had one complaint about no ice in ice machine. Really need an ice machine on second floor, but other than that no other complaints. I will definitely stay there again.

For the money, you really cant complain! 2 story remodeled hotel. Only drawback is all the rooms pretty much face the pool and it can get very noisy and crazy. Staff is excellant, rooms are clean and a good location! No complaints!

Great hotel. Nice pool area with trees and plants around. Great to sit at, visit, and watch kids. Great options on free full, hot breakfast. Kid options like cereal to adult bagels, to eggs & sausage. We stay here every other month while in San Antonio visiting grandkids. Very friendly staff. Did have an issue with only 2 bars on WiFi in our room last stay. Hot water with great pressure, clean rooms, beds good.

Foul odor, broken shower so we had to switch rooms, cleaning people came in with a do not disturb sign on our door while we were gone and took the sign. And we found cockroaches in both rooms. I would not recommend this place at all!

Mold inside vents of a/c unit. Asked for it to be cleaned or to change rooms. No room change and no clean vents. Asked for discount. And denied discount or compensation for inhaling moldy air all night.

We visited on 3/30/2019 and found the property to very clean. The grounds were well-manicured and pool was clean (although outdoor temps too cold to try to swim when we were there.) Breakfast was good with lots of well-stocked options: eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, baked goods assortment, cereals, yogurts, toppings, waffles, grits, etc. Breakfast area was tidy. Rooms face an interior courtyard. We found it to be very quiet the night we were there, and had a peaceful night's sleep. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Drove out of our way about 15 minutes because Best Westerns are always nice properties, and this one was at a better price than other options. Felt we made a good decision and will be back when we are in the area.

I felt safe and it was quiet in the rooms it was easy to find I would go back I really enjoyed the breakfast the price point could be a bit better but it was still affordable I wish I would of had time to use the pool it was very nice and every one was very helpful

I stayed in a 2 room suite- The shower faucet was ON, the whole time and we could not shut it off! The A/C worked but was loud. The gusts upstairs kept running up and down, and throwing items. I had to call the lobby multiple times, and they just kept saying they had no time to call those guests. Our room was not cleaned on our second day there. Pool looked nice/clean, but it was still chilly to go in

Restroom was dirty, microwave was disgusting. Mattresses are the cheapest available and offer no support. But bed was clean and no bedbugs. A/C worked ok. WiFi did not. Toilet was stopped up and two hours later someone finally showed up and gave us a plunger that was too small to be of use. Only one location to get ice on the entire property. Location is not bad. Doubt I will stay here again, priced too high for as old and plain as it is.

I traveled to San Antonio for an Air Force BMT Graduation. I found the location perfect for my purpose being here. I was 10 minutes from Lackland AFB. I was about 12 minutes from downtown San Antonio. The hotel was peaceful and the surroundings were quiet. A few restaurants neighboring the area but not congested.

Great! Although, pillows must be much more comfortable. They were kind of hard. Also, the light by the phone. I would rather have a pitch black room to have a better nite sleep. But it was perfectly nice and clean. Thank you!

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights out of which 7 times we had trouble with the Maid service or lack of it....the one time she did a proper job was only after having a rollicking... It's a good hotel but very sadly let down by the very poor Maid service....no towels, coffee, cups, soap, loo rolls, never dusted in the whole 8 nights , very occasionally use the vacuum...

We identify an engorged tick obviously after sucking my left arm. Made notice to the Hotel Desk, they went o see the bug but they didn't do any thing.I am sure that the sheets or the bead or room were not cleaned

I had tried to stay at another hotel just up the highway but there were no vacancies. This hotel was actually a little cheaper and I chose it mainly for the reviews about the breakfast included. I was not disappointed. The breakfasts were delicious with hot items such as sausage, egg patties, biscuits and gravy and grilled vegetables. Added to this was a good selection of bread, bagels and baked goods, cereals, do it yourself waffles, juices, coffee and tea. Even though it was the busy Thanksgiving weekend there were enough tables in the breakfast area to handle the visitors. Our room was obviously recently renovated, tastefully decorated and clean. The bed was quite comfortable and we got a good night's sleep although there was the noise of kids running on the second floor room above us. If we had asked for a room on the second floor we could have avoided this. The grounds are very welcoming with palm trees, a pool and a barbecue area. The staff were very courteous and accommodating to our needs and even allowed us a late checkout for a small price. Travel was easy by highway to the downtown and nearby attractions.

The room was very Cozy, comfortable and clean. The air conditioner worked great, no problem with the TV, mini fridge or internet. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Great location. My favorite hotel in San Antonio.

This location not only helped with a late night check in but they went out of there way to get me room I wanted. Stick with best Western Ingram area location. I will always get this location and no where else that's it.

Unexpectedly dirty sheets and towels. Black stains on towels and blood stains on sheets. Even a used soap in the bathroom when we arrived. Like they had not cleaned the room at all. They offered us a new room, but it was also not very clean. We complained and the manager refunded us 50% of one night. The breakfast was relatively good. The staff were friendly.

We stayed at this hotel from 10/17/18-10/22/18. Our son graduated from Air Force Basic Training and the hotel was 10 minutes from the base. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean, the breakfast was great and even the pool was in good condition, despite the water being about 50 degrees due to a cold front the week we stayed.

Everything was good and perfect. I will surely advice my other staff to stay here as I personally had my work done with the good WIFI service. Also they have lot of variety in breakfast. Thank you for everything.

Best sleep and great breakfast Best experienc I had at a Best Western. Property is very nice the pool is very clean staff is very Friendly. The manager is really nice as well. My room was very nice and clean no compliants I will be back!

This hotel is being renovated. I was in a newly redone room. The furnishings are very nice. Even all the lamps match. There's a new commode in the bathroom and lovely soft lighting from behind the sink mirror. The room and bath have been freshly painted and are extremely clean. The carpet even looks new. The breakfast was great - cooked potatoes (white, purple, sweet), sausage, eggs, cereal, juices, waffles, sweet rolls, bagels, muffins, bread, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and ice water. The hot foods were kept covered and hot and were refilled constantly. For the coffee and tea (they had green tea) they offered half and half, powdered sweetener, sugar and truvia. I loved the Texas waffle! The outside is rather rundown but the lobby is new and clean. My room was near the front but had no noise from the busy street. The person who left a terrible review must have been in an older room. The room I was in was great. I seldom leave reviews but this was such a lovely room and good value I had to.

The pool was cloudy and filthy and the gym was tore up and doors laying by the stairs . The room was ok but not for 89 dollars not happy at all . The pool is a safety hazard and needed to be shocked dirty dipers and floats in it the day we checked out 1050

In searching hotels in the area where I needed to be for business, this hotel was rated higher than other hotels, but the price was significantly lower. I took a chance and I am glad I did. There was some renovation going on ion the lobby. However, it did not interfere with guests arriving and departing. The room was quiet, clean and updated. Overall I had a very nice stay.

The price for the night was cheap and we went through hotels.com. The hotel was under construction. The lobby smelled like paint and we could see the construction workers working. I think once it is completed it will be great. We got an oversized King sized room with a whirlpool tub. But the tub was dirty so we did not use it!! The pool was beautiful!! The breakfast was small and we wish it had more variety like other Best Westerns. It was a good location if going to Sea World.

Rooms smelled good upon entering rooms. Room was cool. It had 2 queen beds and we moved in a folding bed. Everything was clean and looked updated. The free breakfast was awesome. No complaints. Employees that we spoke with were helpful and friendly.

We stayed here as it was close to everywhere we wanted to go in San Antonio. The hotel was undergoing a renovation at this time. We were first placed in a room that wasn't updated and it was pretty bad. It was dark, one of the lamps and the phone wasn't working. The room was just dated and just sad. I requested a transfer and the lady at the counter was nice enough to give us one of the renovated rooms and it was a lot better. The only issues I had with the renovated room was that the bathroom was not renovated (not sure why) and we did not have a microwave. The breakfast was pretty good! There was a good amount of choices and it was hot which makes for a hearty breakfast! Overall, it was an okay stay. Just ask for the renovated rooms.

The hotel, albeit a motel style facility had a wonderful interior--yet outdoor-- pool that was clean. The room was quiet and nicely decorated. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because of breakfast. If you are looking to eat here, then good luck.

I stayed here on business for 2 nights. First night was not bad, the front desk employee during check in was awesome to deal with and very helpful. On the morning of check out I was woken up by loud construction, to the point where it vibrated the extractor fan cover off of the ceiling. When I went to check out I let the employee know that I wasn't very happy about being woken up 2hrs before I needed to be up by the noise and I would have gladly stayed at another property a few miles away had I been told to expect the extreme noise in the AM, especially after being exhausted from travel and work. He pointed to a sign that said

Stayed there 2 nights and couldn't say anything terrible or great about the hotel. There isn't much around to do or to go eat at and directly on the expressway's way ramp. The staff was very nice and very polite. The rooms were definitely dated and need major upgrades. That being said, they are currently renovating a lot of them which is also causing some loud noises. Breakfast was good, but nothing special. This place definitely has some potential after all the renovations will be done. If most likely give them another shot.

hard to find, hotel sign is behind another big blue sign. had to drive around the block since it is on a one way street. Next to a very busy freeway, and the hotel is under construction. For the price, go across the freeway to the other hotels in brand new buildings, and in a nicer area.

After checking in, we had to go to the front desk to get a stopper for the tub, wash rags, hand towels, and kleenex. The bed was comfortable. There was construction going on but we only heard something for about 10 minutes so it was no big deal. The area was quiet even though it is on the 410 Loop. The only thing that annoyed me was having 3 different carry out menus slid under our door. That reminded me that the hotel was not as secure as others. The breakfast selections were ok.

Not the top of the line for Best Western but the location was excellent as it was right off the highway. The price was great and check in relevantly easy ( a new cashier). They are doing some construction but it was well marked with caution tape. The only complaint about the room was the bathroom lower wall could have been a bit cleaner. Breakfast was included , nothing spectacular but was very good with multiple choices. Great for 1 or 2 nights.

I checked into a NON-SMOKING room. I walked into my room there was awful smell of cigarette smoke. It was everywhere. I could taste it in my mouth. I have horrible allergies to cigarette and instantly my throat become sore and scratchy. The manager come to our room and started to argue with me about the room. I told him as I stated. He then stated he would move us to another room. That room did not smell that....but very rude service.

I was very disappointed with our stay. The door did not close, you had to push it hard for it to actually close. The carpet was dirty. The tub dripped a steady stream even when shut off all the way. The beds were ok, bring your own pillows as the ones on the bed looked like actual throw pillows. The breakfast though looked like a great spread, the food itself was very disappointing.

My family has been staying here the past 4 years when we come to San Antonio. Easy check in along with a good Continental makes this cheap hotel very good for it's price. Beds are come and plush with plents of pillows and blankets. Parking lot is lighted very brightly with several cameras at every corner for safety. Pool is centered in the middle of hotel outdoors. A/C is crisp and cold and tv worked great with movie channels and sports.

Tried calling hotel to confirm stay but there was no answer. Tried calling for half hour until we arrived. We advised this problem at the front desk. Ringer was off! Arrival was at 6pm. Room had burned out bulb making it difficult to walk in. At our age we were lucky not to fall

Excellent facility, staff very helpful, courteous and friendly. Excellent breakfast menu but seating in the dining area during the holiday (Christmas) was a problem. I will definitely stay there during my next trip to San Antonio

We loved our room it was huge price was great did not expect a suite for that price staff was great only problem that we had that our key kept messing up everytime we left we were locked out and had to go to the office but other then the key issue we loved this hotel and will be back

This isn't the palace but it was nice, clean and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and had a lot to pick from. This location was good for us. It was between the air-force base and town. I also noticed that there were a lot of other things to do that were close to this location.

This was my first stay this year at a Best Western, as I normally use Hilton, and I was pleasantly surprised at the room and experience for the low rate. Check in was quick, staff was friendly, the room (king bed) was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable and free breakfast was good (enough selections so I did not eat the same thing every day). Overall it was an excellent value and I would stay here again, due to the convenient location on the West side and price.

The bed was comfortable. Room clean and no "odors". Plenty of good food for breakfast. Attendant in dining area ready to refill any foods. Staff friendly and helpful. Staff smiled, which was so nice to see, and interacted with customers in a way that showed they were interested in them.

Easy access on and off Loop 410, with plenty of restaurants near the hotel. Easy to get to downtown quickly. The Staff are great from helpful front desk workers, professionally handled breakfast food service, and competent room cleaning staff. Wi-Fi worked as well as most hotels and was free. Suite has extra room which was handy for having travel mates over for games (although not enough chairs without theirs). Could use some new carpet, badly fraying in front of bathroom door.

Excellent stay. No issues with the stay. Great location, great cleanliness, all appliances worked. Great price as well. Would definitely recommend, and would have no problem staying here again in the future.

I book this hotel for a week since am tired of jumping from hotel to hotel. Another hotel that the pictures are not what you going to see. The place is spacious but the room definitely needs a lot of cleaning is dust everywhere, the bathroom was a bit dirty as well. The staff was nice

I couldn't be happier about the quality and value of this hotel. And the staff was truly exceptional. We came to San Antonio as a family to see one of ours graduate from.Air Force basic training. That meant multiple groups arriving and departing at different times. The staff accommodated every need. Rooms were well kept and clean. The pool was still open in mid-November, which was great for the kids. And they're just a few miles from Lackland AFB. I couldn't be happier, truly.

11/19/17 Our experience here was terrible and unsafe. We got into our hotel room 120, turned on the heater,started to unpack, and then we started to smell smoke. The fire alarm went off and we rushed to turn off the heater because that is where the smell was coming from. Next, the fire alarm continued to go off while other guests came down to see what was wrong. We frantically called the front desk and Shelby came down to check on the room. She was very courteous and respectful, while she told us that the room did smell like smoke and she would call the manager (Raj Patel). She told us that the manager said he wouldn't come down to check it out and there was nothing that he could do because the hotel was all booked. We asked her what to do and she was very unhappy with the manager's comments but she said the only thing to do was to call customer service. We called customer service, spoke to Doug, and they said that the room was alright to stay in but we did not want to stay in a room that could be a fire hazard. At this point, we were tempted to call the fire department and have them deal with the issue but the customer service finally said the only thing that they could do was for the front desk to call the owner. So, we went to the front desk, different employee was there (Adrian), and he called the manager (Raj Patel) AGAIN and he told Adrian to do the exact same thing that Shelby the other desk person told us. However, the front desk clerk was able to upgrade us to a suite, (even though they previously said that there were no rooms available) and we accepted with the outcome. This whole ordeal took us an hour standing outside and running back in forth from the office to our room and this is not acceptable. Please forward this to the owner and expect a message from Best Western Customer Service because we are calling them in the morning. This was an unsafe environment and I cannot believe they just said to stay in the room while the alarms were going off! However, the experience was very frustrating, I found Ariana and Shelby (desk clerks) very helpful and sympathetic about the situation. It sounds like the manager Raj Patel needs some classes in customer service.

The beds were the right combo of firm and soft. Staff smiled and spoke to us every day. We were there a week. Staff was very accommodating with every random request. Breakfast had enough variety to get something different every day even though the options never changed. Breakfast has coffee, tea, juice, milk, oatmeal, yogurt, danishes, muffins, bread, hard/dry biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal.

Very convenient to Lackland AFB and very competitve pricing. Room had a musty odor and overall cleanliness was wanting. With proper management could be a nice place to stay but as it sits currently it is substandard.

Worst experience ever ,fire ants in bath tub instead of give discount or change room manager blame fire ants on us lol room smell bad ,bed hard as rock ,rude rude rude staff ever they all should get fired .

This place is OK. Stayed here 5 years ago. This place needs a lot of TLC. It is not of the quality that is was 5 years ago. The pool water was green as the pool appeared not to be taken care of. The exterior of the building such as the steps clearly showed the need for painting and other maintenance.

We had an enjoyable time. Front desk & breakfast were always friendly and willing to help. Hotel is dated, but the price more than makes up for it! Our rooms were clean, pool was nice and breakfast was good! Only about 10 min from Lackland and 15 min from the airport. Great location with easy access to many other places. Would highly suggest this to anyone wanting a clean, cheap hotel with great staff!

Good experience overall. One of the better value for dollar amount paid, when compared to similar rated hotels in the area. Air conditioning is wall unit and works very well but very noisy. Facility has a central garden area with swimming pool but not well kept. Pool water was green, cloudy, and made my skin crawl just looking at it. Garden is in great need of landscaping. So-called "free complementary coffee breakfast" is simply a packet of instant self-brew, self-serve coffee in a common area much like you see at your office break room. Okay to stay here for a quick personal or business trip but not where I would consider a treat for a family/personal vacation get-away.

HOTEL MANAGER RUDE, rooms are so Old and the Pool is Green, beer bottles and beer cartons all over the areas, we Cancelled Our Reservation Right Away NOT SURE why Best Western allows this hotel to continue to use their name is a shame that membership money can buy trashy places like this to mislead people on believing you will receive quality service I had encounter at other BW I guess corporate does not care much, A place like this should not be allowed to be part of BW once again is misleading but again YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY

The hotel was nice was a little disappointed in breakfast on the first day. Our last day there housekeeping came and we were not dressed yet. We asked them to come back and they never did. So we still had the same sheets from the night before. The pool needed cleaning it was green and people still swam in it. I do not recommend a room by the pool because other guest do not care that you are trying to sleep after midnight while they party in the pool. Staff was awesome.

A must stay place if vacation in San Antonio, very clean, Good breakfast, Close 17 min drive to river walk , so close to sea world and Lackland AFB. Staff very friendly, front desk Agent Raj very friendly and helpful, Definitely will be coming back to this place...

Good hotel, we would stay here again. Close to restaurants and easy to get to freeway. Breakfast was delicious. Were in town for the night and this was priced well. I always use BW hotels and have not had a bad experience anywhere.

I absolutely loved the rest I was able to receive when I stayed at Best Western ingram park. It's very comfortable and breakfast was great. Customer service was quite pleasant. I will definitely be returning !

Overall it was Awesome. It's close to the river walk, sea world, fiesta taxes and everything in that area. Rooms and the hotel are very clean. Staff was nice and made the check-in and check-out process easy.

Outdated property for sure. Outdated customer service habits. I don't know how I only managed to see the manager view photos prior to booking. Curb appeal is gross, the cost I paid NOT WORTH IT. The showers gross, the linen was damp. We had a long day and I just knew once we got to the hotel life would be so great so we can relax & take a nice hot shower, no the shower doesn't get warm... called for dry towels & I had to get them myself ( outside walking through wet pavements ) All the reviews I saw prior to booking seemed good? Blah.

We got there Sat.night there were not that may left. I thought with Henry hitting Houston we might not find a good room to stay in. But I always try Best Western if I have not booked before hand because I always get good rooms.

Visited with my wife and son . Receptionist was very welcoming. Hotel is located in the middle of everything. Easy access to food and places for entertainment.Room was clean. Got a quite night sleep. Worth the money.

we are always worried that the hotel is not as nice as we see on the internet but when we got here we was very pleased with all we will be back to here it is 6 miles from sea world best thing about it workers are pros and go out of there way for you I like the room cold and wife dosent so she was able to get a blanket with no issues we have had problems before at other hotels but not here

Need more handicap rooms and parking. Smoking around non smoking rooms needs addressing. If people smoke have a separate building for them. Drinking around the pool is not good with children around. Rates need to be adjusted for seniors and disabled veterans.

This hotel was very accommodating, close to stores and highway to get around. The ac in the rooms was very nice and cold. The swimming pool was exceptional. The outside appearance and the inside were very satisfactory.

This Best Western is hidden along the I-410 loop accesss road. Pros: Our room was toward the rear of the property, facing the inner courtyard. It was quiet, and clean, with comfortable beds, good a/c, great water pressure & very helpful personnel. It's about 5 minutes from the Ingram mall, Regal movie theater, and restaurants, as well as only being about 15-20 minutes from Lackland AFB. Also, no bugs! Linens smelled fresh and carpets were pretty clean. The pool looked clean and inviting. Cons: We had to have our room keys rekeyed about once per day, as they'd lose the code, no matter where they were kept. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. The bathroom smelled musty, but it's Texas, and with that humidity, it's hard to keep mildew out. After the first use, it aired out and was ok. We didn't report it, as this trip was not about spending much time in the room. Carpet was frayed badly in the entryway, but again (to me), this is cosmetic, not a deal breaker. The "breakfast" was unimpressive. They offer eggs, rolls, toast and make your own waffles. No fruit, or hot oatmeal. It was very basic and bland. Overall, not bad, but the exterior looks nicer than the interior. The pool looked wonderful and clean, but we didn't use it. The rooms show why this is only a 2-star hotel. However, that being said, it was priced between $100-$130/ night. You could stay in a vacation rental for the same price, which I may do next time. If it were only for a few days, though, I would probably stay here again. It was clean and close to where I needed to be.

Wish breakfast would've been better and the associate would've have not lied to me. The housekeeping ppl were there to do there job. But the place needs to look better. And that green pool just look really nasty.

Found this property online and was attracted to the proximity to Sea World theme park as well as pictures on line. Unfortunately the "actual" room was not as pictured on line. Get up early to have access to breakfast, otherwise very crowded.

Stop complaining! People want 5 star accommodations at 2 star prices. This motel is AWESOME! The price was great, I got a welcome bag with bottled water and chips upon check-in. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was good not great but good. Expected for the price. FYI the regular rooms are small but still are fine to accommodate 4 people. Pool is nice and large, goes up to 5 feet. Breakfast is cold and hot with waffles with ALL the different toppings and they had eggs, potatoes, chorizo and eggs for hot selections. I will stay here again and again. If you want a 5 star hotel then you need to book one, but if you are on a budget looking for a nice place to stay with family THIS IS IT.

It is not a resort but it was clean, safe, and a convenient location. The room was a great size. I liked having a microwave, coffee maker, and a refrigerator. The parking was good. I was able to park right by the room.

Small beds, no upgrade on rooms, filthy carpets, no house keeping. My children would try and walk barefooted and their feet would get super black. We tried getting another room and weren't allowed due having to switch rooms constantly

My daughter was there for surgery, so the Inn provided us a discount which was awesome. The breakfast was not bad, but could use a couple more things added to it. Very nice place, décor was awesome. The cleanliness of the room was pretty good. I didn't see any roaches or other pests in the room at all. I stayed a couple of nights there and I would recommend this place to my family and relatives.

Well. If ever a hotel needed a management overhaul, this is a prime example. I loved this hotel a few years ago; HUGE disappointment this time. Why so few breakfast tables? There is no room and when My family of three went down to eat, people were standing close together like a concert eating/waiting for a waffle maker. It is downright degrading and rude to know there are that many rooms and so few tables. No acknowledgement of my platinum membership (which I am use to, as very few hosts seem to care), no goody bag, no upgrade but instead a room in back, upstairs with a very loud AC unit, bad lighting, loose plugs and moldy bathtub. I will not consider this hotel in my choices for San Antonio, in fact this is not the first disappointing Best Western in this town. Ths really is a shame as there are many Houstonians that choose this area for weekend play and I would say to my fellow H-Town road lovers, avoid this hotel.

Nice hotel staff very friendly, the room was very clean a credit to housekeeping, breakfast was very limited, only problem I encountered was I had to have the room key activated both evenings, very convenient for the attractions. I would recommend this hotel very reasonable priced.

This hotel was a great buy with enough room for all 6 of us. The kids loved the pool and the room was comfortable. I liked that it had a kitchenette. We had a late check in on the first night and the staff were there to help. Our room was clean and ready for us to stay. The only down side was the bathroom was small and not able to fit my husbands wheelchair, they were out of accessible rooms but we managed. Having the King bed in one room and then 2 queen beds in another room made it nice for all.

We chose this little Inn for the night because it was affordable and close to sea world. When we arrived check in was a breeze. They greeted me nicely and checked me in and also gave me a map and directions to my room. We entered our room, a double bed- one bedroom, and it was smaller than what I am use to but it was enough for two adults and two children both under the age of five. We noticed the odd shaped room immediately as if they just recently remodeled, We could also tell by the freshly fixed hole in the wall. The room was clean, floor was vacuumed, sheets were new so we didn't care about the minor fix me ups. The room had basic cable channels and plenty of towels. As we were all taking turns to shower I did notice how the hot water would often go out and kick back in as if everyone in the hotel was using the hot water simultaneously and had to share hot water. Nonetheless everyone was able to take a comfortable shower. The hotel is conveniently located around many places to eat and shop, local target and Walmart with in 5-10 minutes and many fast food restaurants within a few miles. The beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows are provided. Breakfast is served between 6-10am and they had a variety of things from cereal to bagels and cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausage, beans and waffles with many juices to choose from as well as milk and coffee. Staff were very helpful and friendly and even with two rambunctious toddlers early in the morning they were willing to provide coloring books and many crayons to comfort them. It was an easy one night stay, definitely recommend if you're looking for a place to past the night.

This hotel has cockroaches inside and out. The first day housekeeping only threw trash in my room and brought fresh towels. They did not clean the rest of my room or make the beds. The second day I asked for clean towels twice and no one brought any for over an hour. I had to finally go get them myself. I complained to the front desk and simply got a shrug of the shoulders. I will never stay here again.

We drove 10 hours from Kansas and had a 3 bd room reserved for 3 nights, got their looked to be nice but was very wrong had roaches on bed. Wife panicked but had no choice lucky switched rooms but again nasty tables and floor were gross so mad, Thank god hilton had a room on memorial weekend and for less lol......

For the price and star rating of this room you can't beat the value. The room was clean and in order yes there was a few things that could be touched up here and there but again price and star rating. It is a motel but has a hotel feel by the shape of the hotel. The palm trees in the courtyard right outside the room are a nice touch the pool was clean and in order my son thoroughly enjoyed it the breakfast was good as well. The only issue I had was a mini fridge in the room was froze over I work on refrigeration for a living so I was able to get to work and I alerted the staff and the next morning and it wasn't a big deal. I will come back again

Made reservations through Priceline for this motel - picked due to a really low Express Deal price. One of the best deals ever - a really nice visit resulted. When you book this way, you don't always get the room you want - maybe 2 beds versus a king, maybe a handicap room, etc but that's usually not a problem. The problem occurs when you have a person with limited capabilites to climb stairs in a non-elevator equipped place and that is the situation here. We arrived late. We had been assigned a 2nd floor room and I knew my wife could not climb the stairs due to a bad knee. So I explaned the situation to Rick, the man at the front desk. He did some work and manipulation and found us a room on the 1st floor very near the entrance so she would not have to walk far. They had a lot of guests and I know he probably had to take a reservation out of this room and move them to a 2nd floor spot to help us out, but he did and I cannot thank Rick enough for helping us out with the situation we were in. The room was nice, the ac worked superbly and it was quiet. Hot water came fast and plentiful. The internet was fast. The bed was very comfortable. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. Honestly, this room should have cost twice as much as it did. In the center of the complex is a courtyard with the pool and hot tub. Everything is nicely landscaped but we did not use any of those facilities. Looked nice, though. Breakfast started at 6:00 and went to 10am, which is longer than normal. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, tortillas, waffles, fruit, pastries - all you need for a nice hot breakfast. Their coffee machine seemed like it had an endless supply. Some issues with seating (it's setup tends to block a lot of tables depending on how guests sit) so that could use work, but we got seats. I have to say this place surprised me. I was floored by the value, the breakfast and especially the help and concern of Rick in getting us a 1st floor room. So remember, if you can't climb stairs, call and let them know so you can get on the 1st floor.

Stayed here for 1 night while road-tripping through Texas. Was actually the cheapest hotel we stayed at on the trip, but one of the nicest. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Located right off I-410, but traffic noise wasn't an issue. It was only around 15-20 minutes to downtown even during rush hour. Props on the breakfast as well, highlighted by Texas shaped waffles and all the ingredients for a hot breakfast taco. Staff were very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

We spent several days here while in town for an AF graduation. It's close to the base, makes accessing all of the great attractions in San Antonio easy, and is close to a wide range of good restaurants. The room was very nice and included a small sitting area, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We didn't have much time to utilize the room but it was great. There's a nice pool we didn't use but many folks did. Even though it's close to 410 is wasn't noisy. I'd highly recommend it when you visit San Antonio.

This hotel was great. I was here for 3 days and felt at home. The location is GREAT. It was next to malls/entertainment locations/and restaurants. The housekeepers kept the rooms clean throughout the stay. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing. I would def recommend anyone to stay here.

We arrived at this hotel at 3.15 and we had reserved two rooms, neither of which was ready. I visited the restroom in the lobby area and it obviously had not been cleaned either as there was a wet facecloth sitting on the vanity and paper towel on the floor. We sat and waited. Daniel in reception was most apologetic and about 1/2 later he went to see if the rooms were ready. The rooms were clean. If you want to walk, then there are a couple of restaurants close by, Asian Buffet and even a further walk to a couple of other places, otherwise you need to drive. Internet was so so.

Our room was absolutely disgusting. I called and complained and they said they didn't have another room for us to stay in so we would have to wait till the next day. They did come in and clean the following day, but it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months.

It did the trick. The facility was nice. The staff was helpful. The pool was outdoors and not heated, so even though it was in the upper 80's the water was too cold to go swimming. The sign is small and has and to see, so I passed it the first time there and getting back to the road it was on was difficult.

The hotel was easy to find, clean, wifi worked well enough for me to stream TV, beds were comfortable. It was great the first 2 nights and then the 2nd 2 nights they put a roomful of kids above us that literally ran laps and wrestled till 3-4am I complained but nothing was done. We had to get up early for medical treatments and never got any sleep. It was miserable.

It's an average best western, nicely located for what I had planned to do. It comes with a variety of hot and cold items for a free breakfast (nothing is really free ;-) and a pool. Unfortunately when sitting outside the highway noise is fairly obnoxious but I could be talking about any hotel in this area.

Hotel has rooms facing courtyard and pool area. We booked this for a day in San Antonio and had a large room, decent breakfast, good front desk service. Unfortunately our room had a musty smell which I hoped would fade but didn't. Bed was a little soft for my liking, but that might just be a personal preference.

Pulling up to the hotel I didn't know what to expect- it's not much to look at but then, it's par for the area because San Antonio on the whole is in love with dirty beige bricks, apparently. But we were pleasantly surprised, the room was very clean and spacious- we stayed for 5 nights for our Daughter's BMT graduation, it was just under ten minutes to the base. A quick tip to others from out of town going to BMT or just visiting for that matter- In addition to beige bricks, the city of San Antonio is also enamored with U Turns, so navigating is a bit of a pain but it's still a very easy shot to the base. The only thing I would have changed about the room is better sound proofing for the windows- we had a little league football team come and stay on day 2, and they were NOISY, conducting drills outside, the kids ran amok but that's not the hotel's fault, so we were patient as long as the noise didn't go past 9:30. Otherwise I was so grateful to have a clean bathroom as seriously EVERY other bathroom in the city is horrendously disgusting. Reasonable rates made it all the better. If we ever have to come back to San Antonio we would definitely stay again.

Desk clerk was difficult to understand and did not seem to be interested in my being there. My room smelled like a zoo; should not have been rented! Would not move me, offered room freshener that traded on foul odor for another. Not a pleasant night.

We were pleasantly surprised with the exceptional service and quality of this property! It was our first stay at a Best Western, and will not be our last! We booked this room for my daughter's Navy A School graduation at Lackland AFB. Not only was it only about a 10-12 minute commute from base, the airport is also only about 12-15 minutes away from the hotel. There are lots of great places to eat and shop nearby. It was only about 15-20 minutes to downtown. Our room was very clean and the breakfast was hot and plentiful. Coffee was available in the lobby every time I went in. The pool looked clean, however we did not have time to swim. The staff was OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend staying here!

Yes, like other reviews it is a clean, basic hotel close to the AFB. It comes as a good bargain, but I have to comment on the staff. They are some of the nicest people I have a pleasure meeting during my weekend. Thank you! Everyone those few days made my trip that much better.

Stayed here at last minute when we missed our flight out of San Antonio & needed an affordable stay for 2 nights we weren't planning on. I really liked this property!! The staff was all really helpful, nice & accommodating. Our room was clean, stocked, quiet & comfy. I would recommend this property, and if we ever find ourselves in S.A. again, this Best Western is where I'd stay.

After finding this room on booking.com for 50.00 a night I figured why not. It does not have the same amenities at the usual marriott stays I am use to, but for saving 80.00 to 400.00 a night well worth it.

We stayed here for a week and had no problems at all. The staff is friendly and they know their jobs well. The beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning is quite sufficient on a hot Texas day. The breakfasts change each day and twice we had tamales and they were great. Somebody is a good cook here.

I was surprised at the condition of the hotel based on the reasonable price. The room smelled nice. The grounds and pool were nicely maintained. I was surprised at the quality of the complimentary breakfast. The staff was very courteous. I decided to stay a second night. Great value.

My check in time was at 3:00pm I arrived at 3:30pm and was informed my room was not ready and was asked if I could wait 20 mins. I waited 30 minutes and went to my room a little after 4:00pm. The housekeeper informed me she just started cleaning the room and would need about 19 minutes. I returned to my room about 4:30ish and my key card did not work. A manager was called and I had to wait about another 15 minutes for him to arrive and let me in. I was informed the batteries to the lock needed to be changed and my key card had to be reprogrammed. I did not get inside my room until about 5:00pm for a 3:00pm check in.

The location was great close to Sea world. Easy on and off highway. Close to dinning and go kart track that the children loved. The rooms would clean. The pool was clean. The hotel breakfast so not so good and dinning room was small. For the price it was not bad.

In future Trip Advisor will not be my choice for proper reviews of information on travel, Motel rooms are all outside, 2 stories, outside vending machine and one ice maker outdoors. No elevators, park outside of Bldg. and walk around to rooms. outdoor noisy window units., tiny breakfast area, very unfriendly office staff, Bad neighborhood, one valet cart, Transient aka permanent guests. My stay I booked 2 rooms, one smoking and one non-smoking. Front Desk Clerk took my Drivers license and Credit card around to a back room and processed, have never had that happen at a hotel before, you pay in full when you check in, arrived at 4:40 in afternoon, room not ready, maids cleaning rooms, they were helpful and polite, checked out room, clean except for a pair of Hookers false eyelashes left in window sill of room, microwave didn't work, carpet appeared clean but turned your feet black if walked on barefoot. Next my daughter checked in her room, king bed non smoking room was requested, horrible smell of smoke and pee? Housekeepers still cleaning, my husband asked maids about smell in king room, Maid said she was so sorry, a lady stayed in that room for two days smoking and with two cats and No litterboxes and that was why it smelled so bad. My daughter went to front desk about smell and a rude female young desk clerk said," what do you want me to do about it, I can't have carpets cleaned now", went in back room and came back with a can of Glade, and said," this is all I can do. We are booked up". A couple outside of our room , lady told guy," every time I meet you here, this place gets worse and worse". . That from I believe was A Lady of the Evening! Overheard conversation at front desk from a lady saying ," we like it here and want to stay a few months", desk clerk said," we'll talk later", transients coming in to pick up packages and mail. I will never stay at a Best Western again. The only good thing I have to say is housekeeping works hard, after we checked in, management had maids all outdoors on second story landing scrubbing painted concrete hallways with water hose and scrub brooms. of course this became a hazard, wet concrete hallways and stairs, for other guests trying to check in. Hotel also did great job on professional photography to make this look much better than it was and is in reality.

I made an online reservation, received confirmation and credit card charged (I guess for 1 night). I'm a veteran that was preparing to deploy, so one of my last weekends in the US I thought we'd go see Seaworld etc, I had my two young kids (1 yo and 12 yo). We were to spend a long weekend (3 days) to visit the sights. When I arrived about 10:30 pm (after driving almost 5.5 hours), I was told there were no rooms and that they never received my reservation. The only room available was their largest suite and I would need to pay an additional $100/night. I told them I wouldn't be able to afford that and showed my printout for my reservation. The two front desk women and manager wouldn't budge and I was told take it or leave. I glanced through their lobby doors at my 2 girls asleep in the back of my rental car and I didn't know what to do. I grabbed a phonebook they had on the front desk and started to look for hotels. The front desk people called the police to have me escorted, but I showed my printout and ID, while the BW employees laughed and smirked. I called another hotel, was in tears explaining to a La Quinta Hotel front desk lady (across the highway) what was happening - she told me to come now and she gave me a corporate discount for the 3 nights. I wish I could give this hotel negative stars. Over 2 decades of traveling for the military and this was the absolute worst experience of my life with any hotel. I was disgusted and embarrassed! I have boycotted BW since this experience and shared my story w/everyone willing to listen. I hope karma hits this business!

We came to San Antonio for our sons graduation from Air Force Basic Training at Lackland AFB. We checked other hotels nearby and they were almost double for what we paid. The room was clean and the staff were pleasant. A good value if you ask me.

It was quiet, most of the people who worked there was nice. The room was roomy and it looked just like it did on the website. However, there are some cleanliness issues throughout the hotel that should be taken care of. Like on the stairs and the outside paths need some touch-up. The alarm clock in our room didn't work at all. The color of the water in the pool looked green a lot of the time. The breakfast area does need to be bigger, but the food was good. It was a good place overall.

Staff very nice room and acomadations where excellent room was cool and beds where awesome also great breakfast I felt very safe here and I had a wonderful sleep would definitely recommend this hotel if your staying in San Antionio

We arrived in San Antonio at the hotel at about 2:30 pm, check-in is at 3 pm but since the hotel looked pretty deserted, not one customer in the lobby, I asked if we could check in so that we can unload and head to SeaWorld. The front desk assistant was on the phone with that sounded like a personal conversation. She lowered the phone a bit and said, "No, check in at 3 pm" and put the phone back to her ear and resumed her conversation. No "Good Afternoon" or "Hi" or "Welcome." I was taken aback because I have never been treated that way at a hotel. I felt very unwelcome, there were no other associates anywhere to be seen, just the one who seemed pretty wrapped up in her conversation. My daughter had to potty and I almost felt bad having to interrupt the front desk lady while she was on the phone to ask where the restroom was. She lowered the phone, pointed to her right, and resumed her conversation. By that time I was annoyed at the lack of attention, customer service and hospitality at this Best Western. We decided to leave and drive down the highway toward SeaWorld, I found a room and never went back to best western. Because of the clear difference in service, I was okay losing out on my funds. They charge in full upon booking, unlike other hotels that charge after you check out. The room was only $20 more and worth it. I would never go back to this Best Western nor would I refer anyone!

After reading the reviews I had reservations but my kids and I were taking a last minute trip and I though that it could not be that bad. Well, I was wrong. I called the hotel to let them know that we were stuck in much road traffic and construction and that we would be arriving late. When we arrived at 6pm, I was told that the room was still not ready. That makes no sense. We weren't given a room key and had to go back to the front desk to get it then wait still for the room to be made ready. The following day, my kids and I were out most of the day and returned around 6pm to find that the room was not cleaned again. I went to the front desk to ask why and received a flippant response by the young lady that she was sorry, the cleaning people had already left and that she could not give me a refund because her manager was not there. I was not asking for a refund, I wanted someone to listen to me and know that I was not happy with the room not being cleaned. The only thing that went right was when I was checking out the next day and the front desk agent named Erika was there. She helped me check out and asked how was my stay and I told her. I did not ask for anything, just wanted her to know that I was not happy and that we would not be coming back in the future. Erika took it upon herself to give me a partial refund for our experience and I really appreciated being listened to. Thank you Erika!!! Too bad you can work all the shifts because you are great and the other employees should take some lessons from you!!!!

this hotel is always the best place to stay. it is close to everything we want to do and the rate is the best around after checking with multiple hotels. the hotel books fast so its best to book online!! very clean and safe.

I booked a room for five days at this place because if had 4 star rating. I got a room #231. It smelled of string bleach and mold in day one, by day 2, the bleach smell was gone and the mold smell lingered. The air continuing unit rattled when cycling between cooling on power saving mode. Every time it turned on, it would deliver that strong smell if mold. Really disappointed. I told front desk attendant and with a smile she informed she would the manager know. As far as she was concerned I just wanted a discount. Really sick getting crappy service. Is it because I have an accent?

Clean room, nice breakfast, friendly staff. The office is slow to answer the phone. All of our items were rifled through and my daughter's hidden wallet was found and$65 was taken during the day while we were at Sea World. Be warned, and ASK for a do not disturb sign (one was not provided for our room) and pass on housekeeping. Feeling Violated

Stayed here 2 nights. What I remember the most is how crowded the dining area was each morning. Space too small for easily getting around, not enough floor space for all the tables and chairs. Will probably look for another location if we stay in the area again.

This review is long due. We stayed here for the new year's holiday we took to San Antonio. The hotel offers decent accommodation at good prices. Easy to access, right on the highway and short drive to all the attractions. The room had a bit of smoking smell although non smoking type was our preference and the AC which was a wall unit made some noise. The breakfast was basic and could have had more options on the menu. But these hardly effected us as we stayed out most of the time. I would recommend this hotel to people on a budget visit.

The room was clean. It had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron, blower, towels, mini shampoo and lotion. The pool was opened past 10 p.m. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I asked to see the room before staying in the place and the showed me one room that was nice and big and the next day I went, they gave me a different one, which was smaller and less nicer for the same amount of money.

Stayed here for Graduation. Perfect location. 3 miles to the base but still close to downtown where all the activities are. Nice, but no frills. Clean, safe, lots of kids because it's close to Sea World

This really was the best motel we stayed at. Do recommend it , as the best. The best in friendliness, helpfulness, and the cleanest. The carpets were clean, the corners were clean, the bathroom was spotless. Plenty of towels everyday, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, in room coffee, cups, just painted rooms , and the exterior was just painted, and picked up all day long. Not only was it very clean, but the employees were the friendliest. Always asking if they could help and doing whatever they could do , to make sure our stay was the best. I guess that is why it's called Best Western for it was the best.

NIce family hotel. Pool area has shade, sun, and shallow area for little ones. Nice hot breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Stayed here while mother had surgery at Methodist Transplant Hospital. Very close and convenient. Price was very reasonable when we stayed. Had to book thru 2 sites to get all 3 nights but hotel made sure we could keep same room for all.

First time in 2015, we didn't have good luck. Our vehicle was broken into ( windows smashed ) and the staff wasn't interested AT ALL in helping us or at least advising us on what to do next. And of course, their cameras were t working. Butttt, we love the family suites here and gave it a second try. For a large group, the room layout is perfect. One big room with a king size bed, two comfy chairs and a tv, also a small kitchenette. Then two queen beds and a tv connecting through the bathroom. Perfect set up for family & kids. Oh and so far, our vehicle hasn't been broken into :)!

This place is a real dump! During my stay someone spilled a milkshake or something and the maids spread it allll down the hall with her cleaning cart. I was there for five days and the walkway was never cleaned. My son's room had roachesand the property desperately needs to be updated. The serve a continental breakfast but the cleanliness of the property made us say no thank you!!!

What a great hotel! My husband stayed for 7 days as part of our extended trip across the country visiting all the places on our "bucket list"! The staff was wonderful especially Housekeeping. Our room was large with a king bed and we even had a huge jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! A complimentary hot breakfast was offered every morning with a nice variety of cereals, breads, danish, fruit and hot entrees. There was a large pool area and an exercise room. The selection of restaurants in the area was varied to suite everyone, and without having to get on the highway, a mall was in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The management allowed my family to use the pool during my stay. I thought that was great that we all got to go swimming together. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a log waking well rested and ready to go.

This hotel is close to Lackland AFB, but is in a nice location. The area just outside the base didn't seem as secure. A local friend suggested I stay here instead. The hotel is right along the freeway, and is near a large mall with several shops and a movie theater. There was plenty to do close by.

I picked this hotel because of proximity to Air Force base. As soon as we got to the room it smelled like an ash tray? We stayed three nights and finally on the last night it had aired out. The bathroom door wouldn't close, it was very old and outdated. The front lobby was nice and they had a good breakfast. I had prepaid for the trip so I didn't complain because it was min refundable but I feel like I should warn people to find somewhere else. We decided to stay another night and I chose a different hotel and had a much better experience. It is very close to shopping and Air Force base. We went for air force graduation.

I was a little hesitant to stay here because the price was so reasonable and I thought it might be a dive. However I can't recommend this hotel enough! Super clean. Great accommodations. Really enjoyed our stay. No problems whatsoever.

This would have been a "3 star" if it weren't for the last night's events. We were not in the main building, which probably is a much nicer stay. We were in a separate building out behind that. We had difficulty getting to our second story room with our suitcases because we are handicapped and there is no elevator; we were told all ground floor rooms were filled already. We did have a reservation. Our room was fine and met our needs and expectations, although the coffee pot did not work. This wouldn't have been a problem, except we didn't want to walk the distance to the lobby, where there may or may not be coffee, since it was often empty. The room was well-maintained comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. The last evening we were awakened at 2:00 AM by men shouting outside our room to one another and to someone in a vehicle in the parking lot below. The shouting and raucous behavior ( honking and tires squealing) kept up off and on until 5 AM. I suspect it was the "permanent guests" staying in the building who were involved. We would stay again, but only in the main building.

After a horrible night at another hotel, we moved to the Best Western. Warmly greeted, given a large quiet room with a whirlpool tub at back of hotel property, away from traffic, for our three night stay. Good breakfast options, friendly staff, and accommodating housekeeping staff. Overall, a very good experience.

I am a military veteran, and live 2 1/2 hous from Audie Murphy VA hospital in San Antonio. When my appointments require an overnight stay, we always stay at this Best Western. The staff, rooms and amenities are always above standard. Highly recommend!

I usually stay at the Windsor Pointe Best Western but stayed at the Ingram Park Inn Best Western I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here it was clean the breakfast was delicious and made Mexican style DELICIOUS and a big variety better then Denny's, the rooms are older but well maintained and very very clean clean. I will be staying here again.

It's an older motel but it has been well maintained. We paid premium prices due to weekend and fiesta being on but after that the prices dropped. The rooms are clean but a bit dated. Everything worked well. The interior courtyard is very pleasant, well insulated from noise, with tables and swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent with a definite spanish flavor.

My family and I came to San Antonio for my daughters Air Force boot camp graduation. This hotel was not only spotless the staff couldn't be more helpful. There is a constant flow of coffee and tea and different cold drinks all day and night. The free breakfast offers a griddle and all the fixings to make your own waffles, as well as 3 different hot freshly cooked choices. There is cereals, and yogurts and all kinds of pastries! And for the price, you couldn't get more from a high priced hotel! And a fab pool to boot!! Great great visit!!

We go on cross country rollercoaster trips a lot and usually end up at a Best Western or two along the way. This is by far the worst one we've ever stayed in. First, they put us in a smoking room even though we aren't smokers because they were "overbooked". It seems trivial but if you aren't a smoker you can smell it in the air no matter how well the room is cleaned...of course that's u applicable since the room wasn't clean at all. There were hand towels hanging with brown gunk on them clearly from the last people staying before us. We were out all day and when we returned our bed wasn't made and we had no towels or toilet paper, but like another reviewer said the old towels were taken! I gave it two stars because the proximity to six flags fiesta Texas is nice, the continental breakfast wasn't bad, and the small interaction we had with the staff was okay. Ultimately, we couldn't wait to leave this place and get to the Best Western North in Arlington, which feels like the Taj Mahal next to this place :(.

First time in SA. Our flight got delay so we arrived pretty late at the hotel. Loved the check in process, it was super fast! The hot/cold breakfast was phenomenal, many things to choose from and everything was very yummy. The room was big, comfortable and very clean. On the hottest day we tried the pool, the water was freezing! On our 5 nights stay we were the only ones who actually tried it. We came from the Caribbean so weren't expecting the water to be so cold, but the area was very nice and relaxing. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the lady in change of the breakfast area was extremely attentive. With the help of gps we found our way pretty well, the hotel is in a very good location. Loved our time there.

Marilla the breakfast ladies was a gem. Everything was filled immediately and she was always smiling. Breakfast was made even better by her attentiveness. The room was very comfortable and the desk clerk Alfredo made sure we had a room on the ground floor since we are seniors. I would definitely recommend this hotel. AARP'S price was excellent. M-THURS $188. A great price since we are on a fixed income.

Have no complaints about this hotel and its rates. Standard BW breakfast, and typically crowded on the Saturday morning, but overall the room was great and the price was right. The pool looked really nice, although we didn't use it. Would stay here again. Really appreciated that housekeeping honored the note we left in the room asking for all regular coffee and no decaf on both mornings.

I stay here every time I have the need to spend the night in San Antonio, The front desk clerks are always extremely friendly, the hotel is quiet and close to what I need. The beds are always comfortable and rooms are always clean.

Slow service, ok room, pleasant surroundings. I found the property clean, well equipped but the service was rather slow. I don´t know what they use to clean the room but it was very strong and I had to keep the door open for a good hour to let some fresher air in and some fumes out. Room was well equipped, bed comfortable. Breakfast was crowded and refills came slow, but there was a lot to choose from and I did not miss anything. The area felt safe and it was easy to get to and from the location.

This hotel was perfect for us. Lackland AFB was a couple of exits down, making this location very convenient. The staff was so friendly and supportive, happy to help us navigate the area. Coffee was awesome and they had a hot and tasty breakfast out early for us who had to get to base by 645 am. The hotel room was clean and I felt safe. A couple of tiny glitches but nothing to complain about. The price was awesome for all the hotel offered!

Area: The hotel is well worth the 20 minute drive to the Alamo and river walk. You will pay about half as much for the room and get free parking. It is also less than 10 minutes from Seaworld. Cleanliness: When we arrived the room looked clean at a glance. I did have to wash what appeared to be a booger and some black hairs off the wall by the toilet, but I understand the cleaning staff probably doesn't see that area. (I recommend they make a point of inspecting the wall around the toilet). Other than that, I have no complaints about the cleaning staff. In fact, I was very pleased to return the second evening to find they had arranged my son's stuffed animals on the bed. What a nice touch! Comfort: The beds were not the best, but were okay, and again, well worth the savings. Grounds: The rooms are accessed from the outside and surround a lovely pool. It has a 1980's feel. Breakfast: The waffles are great. The rest, not so much.

I had stayed at this particular Best Western several times before, had no complaints, and in fact enjoyed the visit. This time, however, was very disappointing. There was no cold water to moderate the temperature in the jacuzzi bath, the floor left black stains on the bottom of my feet, and the morning desk clerk was talking on the cell phone while she completed our check-out. Breakfast meat and the imitation eggs left something to be desired, too. I don't know what happened, but this was not the experience I (platinum card rewards member) have come to expect and appreciate from Best Western.

We loved our stay. Everyone was so friendly and the rooms were clean and cozy. The scenery outside of the rooms was pleasent to look at. Even though the hotel is off of the highway it was really quiet and we were able to get a good nights sleep. We would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

My family and I stayed in a family suit for a basic airman graduation. Upon arrival at 5pm our room was not ready and we were turned away. Furthermore when we came back to the hotel after our long days our room was not serviced. Beds were not made, no toilet paper on the roll or any extras, no clean towels left (but the dirty ones had been taken), no fresh coffee packets. We called the front desk and were asked to please come get it ourselves. Now we understand that you are busy but these things are unacceptable. I went down to the desk and spoke with the young lady at the desk and she promptly got us the things we needed and was very apologetic and kind about the situation. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who likes cleanliness. My family and i did notice that the cleaning staff had their children with them as they were cleaning rooms. It's no wonder the rooms were not properly cleaned when you have to worry about your children and your job!

I wish I hadn't wasted my money at this hotel. I reported seeing a brown cockroach in my room and they staff did not offer to move me, or offer any other concessions. I left all the lights on at night and "tried" to sleep, but left feeling exhausted. The bathroom tub/shower had mold spots, the back of the bathroom door had two different materials splattered on it. The corners of the carpeting had small debris. Poor overall cleanliness!! This was a very unpleasant stay, I couldn't wait to leave!!

Truly enjoyed my stay at Best Western, because the front desk staff displayed excellent customer service & made sure our issues were handled quickly. Our rooms could have been cleaned better & didn't have the toiletries we needed, but these matters were taken care of right away. If you're looking for an budget friendly place to stay close to Lackland AFB it's a good location & the breakfast was great for all the 3dys we were there.

I booked this hotel through Orbitz, based on customer reviews. Upon arrival, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were there for the Air Force BMT Graduation at close by Lackland AFB , and when we mentioned it during check in, they had a complete, and very helpful pamphlet about the Graduation proceedings, and locations, complete with maps and Base information, as well as, travel to base information. The rooms were very clean and well kept, and they always had hot coffee in the lobby.

For our son's BMT graduation we stayed at the best kept secret in San Antonio. Best Western Ingram Park. It is a small hotel/motel tucked in on Loop 410. 10 minutes to AF base. Very clean and staff is amazing. They cater to airmen families every weekend. They had info printed from Wingmoms to hand out to guests at check in! They were very informed about graduation and gave helpful hints. Great breakfast and wonderful hospitality. And....only $54 per night!

My family was visiting my son for graduation from basic training at Lackland Airforce Base in San Antonio. The Best Western Ingram Park was convenient, very assessable to attractions and particularly to the base. Erika (evening clerk) was particularly helpful and gave great directions and great options for local restaurants. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

We wanted to be somewhat proximate to Lackland Air Force Base, so since others in our party had already chosen this facility, we thought we would also. We were most impressed with the King suite that we had reserved. Quite roomy, comfortable, clean and with good linens. Except for the elephant in the room above, even the noise level was quite conducive to rest. Coffee service all day, cookies in the afternoon, and a well presented continental breakfast are part of the amenities.

Typical breakfast items ran out right away and were replaced with nasty tasting tamales, potatoes were sticky, trash can was overflowing outside trash bin. I requested a room closer to the office with sufficient time and was given the complete opposite.

Nice hotel, we got a room at the back away from the road so it was quiet. It was a bit our of the way from our direction of travel, but San Antonio isn't that large so it wasn't an issue. The tamales for breakfast were great! And that is why they ran out so fast. The pool looked inviting when we checked in on this warm day, but a toe check indicated that it was quite chilly, and upon further inspection, it was in need of a cleaning.

The whole experience was very nice. The people were very professional and friendly. The landscape was very pretty. My only issue was that there weren't enough tables and chairs for the breakfast. But the food was good. I would definitely stay here again.

Front desk people were awesome!!! Room was especially clean. A welcome change from some places I've stayed recently. The building is a bit dated on the exterior, but my room was fine. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for 5 days and found it very comfortable. The service was excellent and breakfast hot and tasty, great waffle machine. The room was clean and the tv service was actually HD on a flat screen TV.

I stayed in this hotel and although not the fanciest hotel , however it did include a decent breakfast and the location was very near the base and mall etc. The exterior of hotel is not impressive but for the price the interior was nice and clean.

The lock to the door was broken and the shower drain was also clogged. These things were not fixed until the second day. Needless to say this created a major inconvenience for my family. The staff had a poor attitude. I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Needed a room for 2 nights for an interview in town on a budget. I had a king suite with microwave & mini fridge for $54/night. Great rate and exactly what I needed. The bed was comfy, free wifi, free parking, small but sufficient continental breakfast (the chorizo breakfast sausage & egg made a GREAT breakfast sandwich!), printer to print your airline tickets, room was clean, quiet, good water pressure in the shower & I always like the microwave/ and fridge. Also very easy to get onto 410 from the hotel. Only word of caution is to pay attention on the frontage road when entering or leaving the hotel...people drive like maniacs on this road & it's a one-way so be careful when entering or leaving.

We've stayed at this particular motel several times to and from our trips to the Mexican border. Easy to get to, free internet nice breakfast and clean rooms. Not far from River Walk, shopping and Alamo.

We stayed at the Best Western Ingram Park. The rooms were very clean. They smelled clean and were attended to every day. We received a GREAT rate. Tell them you have a graduate at Lackland and they automatically give you the lower rate. The service was amazing, everyone was so helpful even to the point of opening breakfast up a half hour earlier so we could get to graduation events on time. They know all the local restaurants and places to visit. Juan, the manager is friendly and talked to guests asking if they needed anything. The landscaping around the pool made a lovely place to sit and chat with our new Airman!:) If you stay here, Fudruckers is a restaurant within walking distance with delicious food and prices you can afford on a working man's budget. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel while staying in San Antonio for USAF BMT graduation!

The room was extremely clean, and the staff was very friendly. It was a very quiet and pleasant stay. The breakfast that came with the stay was a big plus and was very filling and satisfying. there were quite a few stores for shopping, and restaurants near this location, which also made a big plus. I would highly recommend The Best Western Ingram Park Inn to my family and friends.

I booked two rooms at this location. It is convenient to take the family to Seaworld. The hospitality was great and it has palm tree decor going on. Breakfast is just enough food, hot and cold items. Would definitely revisit. They were helpful in giving suggestions. The rooms was very clean.

The hotel is clean and the staff is very professional and friendly. The room was a three double bed extended room. The beds were very comfortable, the room was decorated nicely and suit our needs for our visit to San Antonio for my son's Air Force graduation. I would highly recommend it for other families visiting SAT for graduation. Conveniently located between airport and the Lackland AFB.

Have stayed here a couple of times just this month. I take classes in S.A. but live in Kerrville, so need a place to stay every other Saturday night. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and the clerks at check-in have been very friendly.

Easy to find, easy and fast check-in, free wi-fi, pleasant room, comfy beds (I wasn't too fond of the big pillows), standard breakfast with waffles, etc. All this at a VERY affordable price. What's not to like?

This hotel was priced to have many guests during the low season and turned out to be an excellent value. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was standard fare for that service, prepared well and featured attentive staff. Well done.

We started our trip from Houston with the aim of exploring the west of Texas. Our drive was for three hours. Lovely drive. We went straight to Sea World. Fabulous experience. Then we went to our hotel. Excellent reception. Value for money hotel. Clean neat all facilities in place rooms. Fairly good breakfast. We stayed for two nights.

Excellent value for the money. Hotel quality amenities for motel prices. If you are travelling for business, you should already be travelling with extensions and power cords, you will need them. If you are working the NW side, the location is excellent. While it is on the 410 access road, the parking lot connects to adjacent businesses and allows travel counter flow. Nice restaurants in the area, as well as Ingrahm Park Mall.

This place is close to a lot of restaurants and a mall (Ingram Park) and other places to spend your money. My biggest gripe is that this place is on an access road and if you arrive at the wrong time it's like trying to get on and off of pit road at Bristol Speedway Tennessee. Air conditioner was noisy but so is my wife. I could hear the neighbors but I expect that so I feel that this place was worth the money.

i live in San Antonio, but got my niece a room for the night for her 18th birthday to hang out with some friends and family. All i heard from her was how good the beds felt and how they didn't want to get out of bed.

Very happy with this room. Very clean. Family suite fit the 4 of us with room to spare. Delicious breakfast. Clean and less than 10 mins from base. Very friendly staff and WiFi worked great. Quite area and easy to get in and out.

Very nice facility close to Lackland AFB. I would recommend this BW to any family going to graduation at Lackland. Be sure to use the west gate entrance which is straight down 410, take exit 4 and it's a straight shot into the base.

Clean and comfortable and cannot beat the price if you are looking for a place to sleep and a good breakfast. It was perfect for us being there for our granddaughters basic training graduation at Lackland Air Force Base. Convenient to airport and downtown too. Right off of the highway. It has an outdoor pool but we never used it.

Bring your mosquito spray when you want to stay at this hotel. This could have been a nice stay, but after 5 minutes in the room I got the first 4 mosquito bites. Asked the front desk for help, none available. On check out I wanted to talk to the GM, but he was not available. Asked for a refund of $4.31 for the spray I bought and leave at the front desk for other guests, but nobody in the hotel was allowed to authorize this amount.

My wife and I were taking her sister and son to SeaWorld Saturday and decided to stay the night Friday evening. We were looking for a two bedroom for the group which your hotel offered. We loved the layout and accommodations provided. The breakfast could have been a bit better but was ok for a quick bite prior to heading to the park. The location is very easy to get to and a bonus are the restaurants that are close to the property.

We had 2 rooms - staff was wonderful. The rooms were clean and large enough to spread out. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the great breakfast. We were looking for a hotel close to Lackland, this one wasn't the closest but it is only 10 minutes further away.

I've not been disappointed with his hotel or any of BW hotels. I don't stay anywhere else, if I can at all help it! Of special note on this trip was Cassandra....the breakfast attendant. Professional, friendly, courteous, even in that swarm of people! Good job, Cassandra!

We always have a comfortable stay with Best Western. It is just like being at home. The rooms are clean and feel welcoming as soon as we step in the door. It is conveniently located where we have access to any store, restaurant or theme park that we may need.

The staff is wonderful and the service is great. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. If you're into fitness there is also a gym within walking distance that will give you a 3 day pass.

We were in San Antonio for a wedding and stayed here last minute. Everyone is so helpful especially Maricela in breakfast. Every morning she greeted us with a smile and such an upbeat personality. The room was very clean and close to the pool. We also meet Jose who was always walking on property and making sure everyone was having a great stay. I learned he was the manager on our second day. He leads by example not afraid to pick up trash or like in our case fix a door lock that stopped working. He did all this looking sharp in a vest and tie. Very sharp dressed man. Our housekeeper did not speak any English but did a great job cleaning our room. She even folded some pants we left on the bed and placed them on a table. We will definitely be back and I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

Great breakfast, awesome staff, clean spacious pool, huge comfortable room, but best of all great price. Highly recommend. Great location, close to shipping, restaurants, downtown, and easy to access. The courtyard is amazing to sit and talk with family and friends.

We were never bothered by noise of traffic (except a couple of emergency vehicles during our one-week stay) or other guests. The room was comfortable, meeting our needs, and had ease of access with parking at the door.

Stayed last week for 5 nights. The desk clerk was swamped with calls and people but never lost her cool and got everything done quickly. Further contact I had with the front desk staff was equally positive. The room, grounds, and common areas were all very clean (except the carpet in the room needed vacuuming...some dead crickets here and there). The room was quiet, spacious, and well equipped (microwave, coffeemaker, fridge). The pool area was nice but could have used more chairs and chaise lounges. The breakfast was a hefty continental. Coffee, tea, and fresh baked cookies were available late afternoon-evening. There was a free USA Today at the desk. The location was good for my purposes, which was attending a graduation at Lackland AFB.

This hotel has 2 floor and no elevator, so need to be aware if handicapped. My only complaint is the room had a musty smell, but appeared to be clean and the location is in walking distance to resturants

Best part of staying here was the breakfast. Texas shaped waffles and fresh coffee with plenty to go around. I was told 67 dollars for the night plus tax but at checkout time it was 79 dollars plus tax. Because we were in a hurry to leave and looked at our receipt 30 minutes after we left we let it slide. Towels were restocked but room was not cleaned after 1st day there. We stayed a total of 2 nights for a family vacation weekend in San antonio.

Check in was excellent and quick! Everyone was great. Clean room, great sleep and breakfast was really nice. This was a three day stay and I had a lot of work to do with follow up work on the internet. The connection was very good with plenty of speed. GREAT STAFF! I will be back.

I am a best western diamond elite member so I have seen my share of best westerns. This one is average. Pros. Clean room with refrig and microwave. Full breakfast with cereal, pastries, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles and fresh fruit. Cons, although the pool looks inviting from afar, when you get closer it is in desperate need of a cleaning. Was only daring enough to just sit with my feet in the water. Also the gates with the safety latches leading to the pool are broken and gates do not latch which could lead to a disaster if a small child was to wonder into the area and fall into the pool.

A really clean & updated property. Friendly staff, the breakfast is hot, scramble eggs, bacon , biscuits ect.. Very good wifi. The drive to River Walk was less than 20 minutes away. A vast array of eating places close by, I would definatly stay here again

The Only reason I would not book there again is because I would most likely travel with my doggie-companion and that Best Western does not allow pets, other than that Super great experience. The pool could use heating, though.

To me we had the best of times at this hotel it was close to the sites we went to see and the hotel desk clerk showed us how to get around in town and the freeways to use and she mapped it out for me and my wife and we appreciated her for that

Even though we paid for a larger "suite" it was extremely small. Like the bathroom door hit the toilet and I could barely fit in the shower small. My son played with his trucks on the floor and his legs were literally black from the dirt on the carpet. The whole place felt dingy and run-down. We left and checked into a hotel down the street and we are pretty laid back people, but unless they clean it better I would not recommend.

Good value for the money! We stayed here over labor day weekend. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and the lady who was working in the breakfast area was just great - very helpful and friendly! Would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here (in a ground-floor unit) during the weekend of our son's BMT graduation. While the accommodations met our needs, we were visited nightly by critters in our bed (a spider the first night, then a cricket two other nights). They were definitely having a cricket infestation, as we found many throughout our main room at all times of the day and night. (This may be partly due to the fact that housecleaning leaves the outside-entry doors open while tidying up inside.) The bed sheets were also quite stained. The hot breakfast was empty by 7:30 and was slow to be refilled. The Texas-shaped waffles were great, though, and the cereal and coffee were plentiful. It was nice,too, to have a place ten minutes from base to relax with our new airman!
