"Take the train!!"
blonnka, 19 Mars 2024

Very safe, perfect location. Rooms include fridge, microwave, and a safe. Nice bright rooms, great staff. Hotel shows a little wear and tear, but all was in working order. They have a free shuttle that runs to the local grocery on ?Wednesdays?. I truly missed the attached coffee shop that is now closed, (their hot chocolate was the very best)but lobby has a vending machine with minimal choices for a light meal in your room, and there are donuts for purchase each morning (coffee is free). Hotel is situated halfway between the Salt Palace convention center, and the Family library. It's not even a five minute walk to either one,but wear comfy shoes and dress for the weather. The mall across the street has a food court with good choices. Traveling solo to a convention, I had 2 suitcases and a backpack. Still, the green line train runs about every 20minutes from the airport, and literally drops you off in front of the hotel. Seniors (like me) can ride for less than $2 each way. During the Rootstech convention prices were high, but normally this hotel is very affordable.

"Great Location for Salt Palace & FH Library…"
Vacation93009, 09 Mars 2024

Location is excellent between Salt Palace and the Family History Library. Friendly, helpful staff. Decor is outdated & doors too short for rooms allowing light in from hallway as well as sound. Walls seem thin. You WILL hear your neighbors & vice versa. Ear plugs may be needed.

"Business Trip to Salt Lake City"
johnoE5327TV, 27 Février 2024

The Plaza Hotel is an amazing place to stay, the entire staff was so helpful and friendly. When i got to me room the Housekeeping Staff had a very clean room when I arrived. Even though the Plaza Hotel is an older property I always select this hotel I come to Downtown Salt Lake City. If you are looking for an amazing hotel to stay at this is my favorite hotel in Salt Lake City. I would highly recommend this hotel I have never had a bad experience at the Plaza hotel. Thanks for another AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!

"They charge an arm and a leg for breakfast"
oreooe, 21 Février 2024

The fact that you don't include breakfast in the price of the stay is asinine. Why should I pay $2.99 for a muffin or some cereal when I'm already paying to stay here? I've never stayed at a hotel that doesn't offer free breakfast. Even the trashiest hotels in town offer free breakfast. Not to mention the fact that we couldn't even use our gaming console because you have the TV locked up and only offer your crappy cable. And last but not least the items you have for sale in the lobby are marked up so high it's not even funny. How on earth do you justify charging $4.50 for a travel sized toothpaste? Hoping that your guests are desperate enough that they'll cave and buy it so they don't have to be further inconvenienced? This hotel is a joke. Wouldn't stay again.

"The good, bad, and cold"
Victor C, 15 Février 2024

The hotel proximity to city amenities is good, unfortunately that puts it adjacent to the lite rail system that was quite noisy. We ran the fan all night, to help abate the outside noise. Sometime during the night there appeared to be a power bump which caused my wife's concentrator go into alarm and as we found out when we got up, shut down the hotel boiler. I then found out the room phone did not work either, when I tried to call the front desk. The front desk was already aware if the boiler issue and stated that it had been restarted and it would take awhile to get hot water. As we had plans, it was a sponge bath for the wife, and a cold shower for me. The staff was very friendly and the room condition was good. They do not advertise or provide a free breakfast and only have a small selection of items for purchase, no restaurant. I don't recall if the hotel discerption stated it, but parking is extra in an adjacent garage.

"Nice comfortable hotel"
Louis H, 13 Février 2024

This is an older dated hotel but the location and rates were very good. The staff was very friendly. The room was very comfortable and quiet with a great view. The onsite parking was very convenient as well and only 10 dollars a day. If they updated it it would be great but then again the rates would go up.

"Nice hotel near Family Search Library"
myfamsearch, 13 Janvier 2024

This hotel is within a few minutes walk of the Famiky History library, which is very convenient when researching your family tree. The hotel is located very near Tabernacle Square and there is a light rail stop out front. The accommodations were clean and spacious. The hotel restaurant, which is only open for breakfast, is a little lacking in the availability of food, so get there early for the best choice. I would stay here again if I returned to do research.

"Our stay"
MinnieMo99, 11 Janvier 2024

It was only one night. The bed was amazing but the hot water was not working. I reported it but we were in the middle of a snowstorm and I told her I'd call back if I couldn't get it to work. The staff was excellent and I'm giving it another try this week. I'm not too concerned over one night. My next visit is four and that will be the test.

"Perfect location"
352francisv, 08 Janvier 2024

The hotel is perfectly located in the downtown area. Next to tram and bus stop within the Free Fare Zone. Easy check in. Perfect parking arrangements with the multi level garage nextdoor. Will recommend the hotel.

"Below Expectations"
eagle7construction, 06 Janvier 2024

Upon arrival was informed I'd be paying for parking. Then told they couldn't accommodate the size of vehicle I had and that I'd have to park in the alley. And they still charged me to park in the alley

"Cold Water and Noise"
SisterBerta, 16 Décembre 2023

This stay was not a good experience due to noise of guests and incdedent in the middle of the night that left us unable to get a good night's rest. It was out of the hands of the hotel staff, so we don't blame them, but the cold water in the bathroom sink was not enjoyable. Bed is comfortable but too light of bedding for the winter. Tracs going all hours was a bit noisy on the city view side but we could handle that. Beautiful view of the city lights. Staff was wonderful. We would stay here again because the prices are great in downtown Salt Lake City, and hope we wouldn't have the bad experience with guests causing problems the next time.

"Great room for the price and location."
bkidd2023, 02 Octobre 2023

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the shower had tons of water pressure which was awesome. I needed additional help with parking as I had a super tall truck that would not fit in the garage, staff made sure that we were able to get the truck parked safely in a secure area.

"Wonderful gem downtown"
kpkelly994, 04 Septembre 2023

This hotel was lovely. Unassuming outside, but beautiful, clean, and overall welcoming inside. The gift shop has a lovely man who runs it, and the prices are very reasonable. Our room was comfortable, the bath tub was plenty spacious which was wonderful since I'd hurt my foot before visiting and needed a place to soak it. We were in town for a concert, and the venue was just within walking distance and even after a long, physically active show we were able to comfortably walk back. There's some good restaurants nearby, and the hotel's breakfast bistro is very reasonably priced. I was willing to pay a couple dollars for the food they offered over a free continental breakfast.

"Great Hotel"
Joel K, 03 Septembre 2023

Excellent place to stay at a great value! The staff is very friendly, rooms clean and the location is perfect. The train stop is right in front of the hotel so you can anywhere in Salt Lake City easily without the need of a car.

"Conference"
advisorme, 20 Août 2023

This hotel is very conveniently located for visits to the Family search Library, Temple Square and downtown Salt Lake City. The hotel is clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. No complaints. I have been going there for years.

"Very Comfortable"
kholladay10, 14 Août 2023

Very comfortable beds, rooms are very nice, and staff are friendly and responsive to any requests or issues. The location is convenient to Trax. Close to many restaurants and downtown shopping and Delta Center.

"Will be looking at other options next time"
gracew479, 11 Août 2023

Honestly, I've stayed here before and the convenience and price are great and rooms are very decent. BUT they take a $100 deposit that then takes "up to 10 business days" to refund to your account (quoting the staff person at the front desk who told me this when I called three days after my stay to inquire why the refund hadn't showed up yet). PS I leave hotel rooms in excellent shape and have never had an issue and the person confirmed that it's not at all about how I left the room.

"Gteat staff, dated hotel "
LouDonnelly, 11 Août 2023

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in great location although be prepared to hear lot of street noise. Hotel itself is very dated and very basic. Breakfast definitely needs improvement and not sure its fair to charge your hotel guests for parking.

"Meh..."
1Christina4, 09 Août 2023

I love the convenient location and the staff are nice for the most part. The rooms are clean but the wall paper is begining to peel off. I had a great stay until the last night. A group of other guests were congregating near the elevator and talking loud enough to be heard in the rooms. When I called the front desk, I was told that there was nothing they could do unless the guest were running down the hallway and creating a disturbance. They would send a security guard to make sure there were no disturbances happening. Excuse me? What do you call people talking loudly outside your door?

"Older hotel, but closest to downtown SLC"
milanpL4954JQ, 06 Août 2023

The hotel is from the 1970s, but you cannot find anything closer to downtown and the world-famous FamilySearch Library. The price is OK. Hopefully the restaurant will be back soon. Vending machines cannot make up for it. BUT, I heard that the restaurant will return soon.

"Terrible Stay- Customer Service Lacking"
Sara R, 06 Août 2023

Had a terrible stay. The room had used soap on in the shower which means it not cleaned properly but that was not the issue… We received a parking pass at check-in parking cost $10 no matter what. You cannot get out of it you have to park there that's not the issue either and the issue is is that I'm gonna cross trading I thought check in. When I was checking out, the parking pass but it but it wasn't. Shila was adamantly trying to charge me another $10. She also consistently accused us of using the parking pass which we did not. We did not take her car in or out of the parking. Which was a complete lie… even though we went back-and-forth. She continued to say that he is a parking pass. I ended up finding our parking pass but I 100% did not use it. This could have easily been resolved but with no help and being accused of using it. Bad bad service Shila

"Plaza Slt Lake City"
angelsun2023, 30 Juillet 2023

The staff was excellent. The hotel room was dirty and shabby. The internet connection was almost non existent; the safe was broken; the valance was falling off the curtain rod. There were liquid stains on the wall and on the bathroom door. The bathtub grouting was broken and dirty. The coffee machine in the lobby malfunctioned and the hot water wouldn't turn off.

"Just OK"
lrodeotrail, 27 Juillet 2023

Check in was not a easy as most hotels. And I'm a member. You will pay for breakfast and parking. So be sure to add that in the price range your trying to stay in. The front desk called me at 11pm while I was sleeping too take care of a matter that could have been taken care of when I was at the front desk at 3pm. Overall not a good experience. And I travel all over for work

"Clean, convenient, understaffed"
Mattwolchko-arch, 21 Juillet 2023

Constant line at Saturday afternoon check in. One person at desk. Not her fault for being swamped. The light rail station in front of the hotel is convenient. Location adjacent to Tabernacle, near mall, arena is excellent.

"Maid Service"
jaksf2023, 09 Juillet 2023

During my stay, the cleaning staff was consistency inferior with incomplete cleaning or superficial cleaning in replenishing room supplies. Hotel is very ideal to anyone planning on researching at the Family History Library. jaksf

"Traveler Beware: Reservations Not Honored"
travispthompson, 01 Juillet 2023

Travelers beware! I booked a reservation through the Best Western reservation number. When I arrived at 4:00 AM (30 minutes after booking), Eric, the night agent, could not find it and would not honor the reservation despite the confirmation email and Best Western corporate confirming the reservation. Instead, he wanted to charge a higher price for the room. We ended up leaving.

"Hotel sadly needs to be demolished and rebuilt."
206kelsey, 01 Juillet 2023

It's hard to know where to start on this one - sadly this is the most unkempt hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything is very dated, which is fine, but problems included: a leaking ceiling in my bathroom, water that changed from hot to cold with no intervention, blood on the window curtains, and overall feeling of “hmm I don't want to touch this.” I honestly hate giving a bad review, but people work hard for their money, and the fact that this decrepit place was $179 a night plus tax is insane. The location is great if you're attending a conference - but it needs to be demolished and rebuilt from the ground up. :(

"Avoid! Worst experience in years."
Amy H, 16 Juin 2023

The front desk staff showed no kindness or compassion. They absolutely require a physical credit card. Having pictures of a card is no good. No google pay, venmo, etc even when the room was already fully paid for. it was 9:30 at night, my child was sick and I happened to lost my wallet. I begged to leave my passport or other valuables with them so my child can enter and lie down while I go find my wallet. Hard no. They, however, don't seem to care that drunk kids (possibly teens) were walking in and out. I was able to retrieve my wallet two hours later but another nightmare was just about to start: barely warm water in the shower, tiny pillows in square shape! My child fell off the pillow every time he turns. Neither of us could sleep. This is hands down my worst travel experience in 20 years. Please look elsewhere if you would like to sleep at night and maybe some respect.

"Convenient location. Comfortable bed."
tracyh634, 14 Juin 2023

Nice staff, descent sized room, comfortable beds. We were able to walk to sightsee and for dinner. It was also reasonably close to the airport. About as quiet as you can expect from all but luxury hotels.

"Very poor customer service"
pamsS9503UO, 01 Février 2023

I had booked two rooms for four nights for the 2022 Melaleuca Convention. I had to cancel my reservations at the last minute because of my husband's life threatening illness. He is a veteran and I am his primary caregiver. I offered to send in medical paperwork from the VA. They refused and I was still charged over $350.00 for two rooms I did not use and were most likely used by someone else. I know the Cancelation Policy, but exceptions can be made in businesses. Very, very disappointed with this hotel.

"Great place to stay!"
walkingaroundintown, 22 Janvier 2023

Had a very good stay here for almost an entire week. Here is why: - The staff is friendly and helpful (thank you Jess and Jack!) - The location is excellent. Right in the heart of downtown, walkable to all the big sights. - The view of the city and mountains from the room is beautiful. There is a tiny balcony but it's permanently locked. - Rooms are spacious. The bed is comfy. The shower pressure is good and warm. - Even the room cleaning staff was so friendly any time I would pass by the corridors. - Good price for all that you get. The biggest thing they could improve upon is the pillows are not the comfiest.

"Killer suite"
kadencleavenger, 12 Janvier 2023

Hotel is definitely pretty dated but you can't beat the suite for the price. I mean a huge bath in the middle of the living room? Killer. My wife and I had a blast for our anniversary. The only complaint I could have is the paid parking but for the luxury of having your car in a secure space it's worth it.

"Older property, wonderful location, needs upgrading"
John M, 07 Janvier 2023

This property is in an excellent location to visit LDS historic sites and part of downtown Salt Lake City. According to the front desk, it is actually owned by the LDS Church. Perhaps they may want to invest into making some upgrades? The rooms are large, beds are comfortable, everything is clean and the climate control works well. But showers were cold (pool water temp) and they have closed what was one of the best features of this property, the restaurant. In addition, hallways are dark and apparently there is no system to alert housekeeping when someone has checked out. It has been a long time since I heard maids going door to door to see if people were still there. We will probably stay here again, but perhaps not in the winter time when a hot shower is most appreciated.

"Clean, comfortable rooms in a great location"
Adventure821701, 19 Décembre 2022

The Plaza Hotel is right next to Temple Square, the Family History Library, Abravanel Hall and City Creek. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. There is a microwave and mini fridge in each room, along with a coffee maker. I heard very little noise from rooms next to/above me. Check in and check out were easy and quick. Parking is $10 per night.

"Positive Spin"
597jannas, 17 Décembre 2022

The beds are nice, soft and comfy. The toilet paper has exfoliating qualities. The bathroom fan was able to retire, so I'm happy for it's sake. I felt right at home because the hot is cold and the cold is hot in the shower. The shower head was trying to reach a pitch that only dogs can hear but couldn't quite make it. The elevator is auditioning for a new haunted house. I hope it wins the contest.

"Perfect Location"
Charley21, 04 Décembre 2022

We went to Salt Lake for a basketball game. I spent several hours deciding on a hotel. Decided on Salt Lake City Plaza. Ideal location. Next to Vivent Arena, beautiful mall, Morman Tabernacle, and walking distance to great breweries. Very clean hotel and beds were so comfortable. You pay for parking, as the city owns the lot. It's connected to the hotel. Better than being in a parking lot. $10 a day. Staff was so nice and accomdating. No free breakfast but has a breakfast bistro. Nice selection. Burritos and sausage egg coursants were delicious. Prices on the breakfast items were so reasonable. Coffee was free all day and it was perfect. We stayed 3 nights and saved around $300 from other downtown hotels. They might be fancier but the plaza was superior in so many areas. Perfect for families.

"Needs updating"
Toni R, 02 Décembre 2022

We were not thrilled with our experience. I should start by saying we didn't bring any issues we had to the staffs attention as we got into our room pretty late and were leaving the next morning, so they didn't have the opportunity to address any issues. That being said, the staff we did encounter at check in and check out were both friendly. I think most of the issues would be more to do with the cleaning staff. The bathroom floor was sticky and there were black hairs in the bathroom and on the towels. There was also a used hair tie with a bunch of hair next to the toilet. The property is very old and in disrepair. The plug for the jetted tub was broken and there was obvious water damage around the bathroom door. The bed has been updated recently and was clean, so no complaints there. The location is great if you are going to be in the downtown area. Overall, we probably wouldn't stay here again. You can get much nicer rooms elsewhere for the same cost.

"Great location,"
M C, 27 Novembre 2022

The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting the Mormon church facilities. On the other hand, the property is showing its age and could use a makeover. There used to be a nice restaurant on the property. That has been gone for several years, I think. The service staff were very pleasant. The rooms were nice and we did have a good view of the mountains. The enclosed parking attached to the hotel was a real plus.

"Nice stay in SLC"
Clynch2022, 20 Novembre 2022

The hotel was clean and pretty quiet, even right in downtown SLC. We had a conference at the Salt Palace, which was a quick 5-minute walk from the hotel. Super convenient. The heater in the room was pretty loud, and my husband (who's a very light sleeper), said it woke him up a few times overnight. Would've been even better with free breakfast.

"Decent place-close to what we needed"
Sandi F, 15 Novembre 2022

If you don't want fancy, this is your place. The beds were good, the staff was nice. Houskeeping knocked on the door at 9:00 on Saturday morning, but just asked if we needed anything. She gave us extra towels and we were done. Super nice lady! There is a $10/day charge to park in the parking garage, but it's totally worth it if you're going anywhere downtown! The parking is atrocious, so having a place to park and either walk or catch Trax is great! The only breakfast is for purchase, which sucks, so you have to drive or walk to another hotel to eat. There are fridges and microwaves in the rooms though so you could take something. Overall, it was a worth the price.

"Old Hotel Conveniently Located"
lxfree, 07 Novembre 2022

The hotel's location downtown is the main attraction. It is located across from a train stop and very near the state capital and Mormon genealogy center. But it is dated. The bathroom fixtures are old. We were assigned the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, which was located in the middle of a bank of elevators. We could hear other guests' conversations as they waited for the elevator. As we were only there for a night, we chose not to be moved, but beware they will try to stick you with a less than desirable room.

"Convenient to Temple Square"
Nancy S, 11 Octobre 2022

Stayed at Hotel Utah 45 years ago. It is now the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. However, found the Plaza SLC and it is just as convenient to Temple Square and is reasonably priced. Parking is additional but is reasonably priced, convenient and has in and out privileges. Breakfast is not included but you can purchase breakfast in the lobby. Great value for a great location.

"Over rated Hotel"
Rob B, 03 Octobre 2022

Lake plaza is one of the worst hotels that we have stayed at. The only positive thing about the hotel is its close proximity to the LDS Library. The service at the front desk is very poor, in particular the front desk manager. I asked for some assistance about various local tourist facilities, and got told that they knew nothing about them, and said i should look at the rack of tour brochures in the lobby. There was no restaurant, the coffee machine in the room did not work, the Ice machines on 3 consecutive floors were not working. We stayed for a week and did not receive any room service. We were told that there was none available, and if we wanted clean towels then we needed to go to the front counter and collect them. The air-conditioning unit in the room was not working correctly, and was so noisy that we had trouble getting to sleep. We wanted to stay an additional night, but the hotel said they were changing their computer system. This was despite having spare rooms, and thus could not book us in. We were actually grateful for this and spend our last might at the Radisson, in a much nicer room, and at a better room rate.

"Great location and service"
Carol M, 03 Octobre 2022

The Salt Lake Plaza Hotel is ideally located in downtown Salt Lake City, next to Family Search's Family History Library and near restaurants and shopping. We were there primarily for genealogy research but appreciated the convenience of being able to easily walk to other sites for sightseeing and entertainment as well as being close to a city tram stop. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable.

"A few days at salt lake plaza"
DRSKLS, 30 Septembre 2022

Great location but hotel is dated with issues such as very noisy air conditioning. Staff was a mixture of good to totally uninterested. We had in issue with our account and we're referred to their finance section who never answered the phone calls. However, we left a number messages and the issue eventually sorted.

"Good time"
david m, 26 Septembre 2022

My family and I decided to stay here. We've come to this hotel a few times over the years. We noticed the changes this hotel has had during each time we've stayed here. The room was good but the one thing we thought was silly to have a breakfast eatery in the lobby but no apparent use for the space that once was the JBs restaurant. We found that very interesting because the eatery was a la cart and you paid for each item you'd want but it didn't seem to be worth it because it didn't have many options. Now the restaurant space would be more worth it. Anyway, the staff seemed professional and friendly. All in all we had a great stay but I am not sure we will come back to stay there.

"Decade long patron will not be returning"
TeacherTravels4fun, 26 Septembre 2022

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 15 years but this stay will be my last. It has taken a steep decline in the past couple years. This stay I was unimpressed by the cleanliness of my room. The couch in my room was filthy to the point where I put a towel on it before I sat down. There were several big stains including coffee and a huge red stain that I hoped were makeup stains and not more sinister. My bedding and carpet had small holes and part of the wallpaper above the bed was peeling. Again, I have stayed here multiple times and have always enjoyed it, however based on this past experience and the overall lack of care in the building I will not be returning.

"homeward bound"
forestseh, 12 Septembre 2022

had to return home from vacation sooner then planned; had to take a taxi 80 miles to Salt Lake to catch Amtrac wasn"t a great feeling but the friendly greeting and stay was greatly appreciated and George explaining how to use the blue line was a big help.

"Gorgeous property"
John T, 08 Septembre 2022

We rolled into SLC rather late and we're very pleased there were rooms at this downtown hotel. The staff was amazing, the room clean, and the bed comfy. The view of the statehouse was a nice bonus. We will definitely stay here again!

"I won't come back"
sonjab2040, 04 Septembre 2022

Great location, but the hotel is run down. We got stuck in the garage twice, because the gate wouldn't open. Staff were clueless about how to fix the issue. They retracted the late checkout we were promised when we checked in, wanted $40 more for an extra hour. Railings are broken, tiles are broken, restaurant is closed, the pool seemed clean but very small and felt like being in a back alley. Housekeeping starts loudly at 8AM. A little staff training goes a long way.

"Staff entered our room while we were sleeping at 12:45am"
Vacation233804, 31 Août 2022

Temple Plaza Hotel, employee Austin, entered our room while we were sleeping to replace the television. My friend & I woke up to him in our room. He did not announce himself before entering at 12:45am. When we complained to the front desk, they did not take the complaint seriously. They said "he tried to be quiet while you guys were sleeping. We did not feel safe at this hotel. The hotel did not give us a credit for that night or any indication they knew this was inappropriate behavior. I even had to say to the assistant manager Joe that he needed to take our complaint seriously. I'm sure laws were broken at this hotel and staff seems naive to crimes that could have been committed against us. We should have filed a police report.

"Room for improvement"
Pete A, 16 Août 2022

Specically booked a suite at this hotel for 3 nights to ensure that we had a view from an upper floor. Also website stated that dinners & breakfasts were available at the adjacent restaurant. After checking in we soon realised that the restaurant appeared to be closed. Upon asking at reception this was confirmed - so why had they not sent an email to warn of this situation?! When querying this with reception staff, one member in particular was very curt in her response. We had to search in very high temperatures to find suitable restaurants although the free light rail system did reduce the walking distance.

"Nice Place Downtown"
MelCelina, 10 Juin 2022

Nice place to stay at a reasonable price. Stayed here for $123/night. Room Clean as was hotel. Free parking in thier garage. Is located close to Morman Church and other Morman buildings. Restuarants within walking distance. Would stay here again.

"Older but clean and wonderful location"
Thib2722, 08 Juin 2022

The hotel is an older property but modernized. It's clean and bed was comfortable. There is no breakfast or restaurant on site. The location is wonderful if you're going to the Temple Square area or to the convention center. The staff was very nice. I'd recommend it. Ask for a room away from the elevator. While convenient, people are stupid and don't have any sense of decorum, coming out the elevator all hours talking loudly. At 2:00 am, what else would someone in a hotel room be doing but sleeping. Have some courtesy. The water pressure was wonky. Sometimes it's great and other times it just went away.

"Great location, friendly staff."

The Salt Lake Plaza is an older property, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located next door to the Family research Library if that's something of interest to you. The light rail station is located right outside of the front door of the hotel. The trip to the airport takes approximately 15 minutes. Temple Square is located right across the street.

We stayed 2 nights at the Plaza, and very nice was it too. Our room, 701, was spacious and comfortable, and, as a deluxe room had a big sofa to relax on. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. There are no meal options here due to Covid restrictions, but there are plenty in the downtown area just a 5 minute walk. SLC is a lovely city to visit, we would love to come back.

Hotel was fantastic quiet and clean. The only downside to this hotel was they charge $100 deposit for a room so the room that normally would have cost me $150 $160 cost me $270 for two nights so the deposit thing is really stupid and families that are on a budget that really hurts them.
